When we study all the scriptures that pertain to the last days, it is obvious that the last days begin with Yeshua’s / Jesus’ First Coming and end with Yeshua’s / Jesus’ Second Coming.

First Coming

Genesis 49:8-12 contains a prophesy about Yeshua’s / Jesus’ First Coming. JST Genesis 50:24 specifically states that Shilo is Yeshua / Jesus the promised Messiah. This with the fact that JST Genesis 49:1, which is an introduction to all the blessings being given in Genesis 49, states that all these prophecies start in the last days. Coupled with that after Yeshua, who is Shilo, died the tribe of Judah lost it’s sceptre and thus the authority to rule, which is proven out in history. In addition, Peter states, in Acts 2, that the dreams that were prophecied to happen in the last days started. All of this shows that the last days start with Yeshua’s / Jesus’ First Coming. Moses 7:58-65 (JST Genesis 7:65-73) defines the last days as starting with the First Coming and ending with the Second Coming.

Times of the Gentiles

The Times of the Gentiles started after Yeshua’s / Jesus’ death and resurrection with the apostles going to the world to teach all those who have not accepted Yeshua / Jesus as their personal Savior. The Times of the Gentiles ends during the Second Coming events.

Joseph Smith

Joseph Smith was called as a holy prophet by YHWH Elohim before the great and dreadful day of YHWH, aka Second Coming events, to restore much which had been lost (see 1 Nephi (LDS 13:34)(RLDS 3:181-183), D&C (LDS 1,2)(RLDS 1,)(1833 1,)(1835 1,)(1844 1,), Malachi 4 (3 Nephi (LDS 25)(RLDS 11:22-27))). Joseph Smith came before the latter days. The latter days is Second Coming events (a resource page for latter days is in the works).

Second Coming Events

Second Coming events are the final portion of the last days, which is also called the latter days (a resource page for latter days is in the works). The Second Coming events start with the first seal written about in the book of Revelation. D&C (LDS 87) also describes the first seal from the book of Revelation from a different perspective, see Second Coming for details on these connections including others such as the clay and iron feet with the 10 toes see Daniel. Moses 7:58-65 (JST Genesis 7:65-73) defines the last days as starting with the First Coming and ending with the Second Coming.

Lectures on Faith 6:9 It was in offering sacrifices that Abel, the first martyr, obtained knowledge that he was accepted of God. And from the days of righteous Abel to the present time, the knowledge that men have that they are accepted in the sight of God, is obtained by offering sacrifice: and in the last days, before the Lord comes, he is to gather together his saints who have made a covenant with him by sacrifice. Psalms 50:3-5: Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him. He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people. Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant unto me by sacrifice.

Rest After Last Days

In Moses 7:60,65 (JST Genesis 7:67,73) the last days is mentioned. Moses 7:65 (JST Genesis 7:73) could seem as if the millennial reign of Yeshua / Jesus is being included in the last days. A careful examination will show that this is not the case. A very important verse that shows this is not the case is Moses 7:61 (JST Genesis 7:69) with the word “but” that shows the millennial reign of Yeshua / Jesus is not included with the last days that is being discussed in Moses 7:58-65 (JST Genesis 7:65-73). In Moses 7:65 (JST Genesis 7:73) I added the glyph “stays” after the word “to” to help bring out the fact that Yeshua / Jesus stays on earth after the Second Coming events to reign during the final millenium. Moses 7:58-65 (JST Genesis 7:65-73) defines the last days as starting with the First Coming and ending with the Second Coming.

Meridian Of Time

The reason we are including the Meridian of Time on this Last Days page is beacuse it is when Yeshua’s / Jesus’ First Coming occured. The First Coming of Yeshua / Jesus is the start of the Last Days. The 1828 Webster’s Dictionary definition of meridian brings out how the meridian is when the sun is at it’s highest and thus in the middle of the day, or in other words, high noon. In like manner, the 4th millennium is the center of the seven millenniums of time, just as high noon is the center of the day light hours. Yeshua / Jesus came in the end of the 4th millennium which is during the meridian of the millenniums, or in other words, time. Or in otherwords Noon Millennium. The reason we know we need to include all seven millenniums is because Adam, during the first millennium, was told that Yeshua / Jesus was going to come for the first time in the Meridian of Time, see Moses 6:57,62 (JST Genesis 6:60,65).

Moses 5:57 (JST Genesis 5:43) For they would not hearken unto His [YHWH] voice, nor believe on His [YHWH] Only Begotten Son [Yeshua], even Him [Yeshua] whom He [YHWH] declared should come in the meridian of time, Who [Yeshua] was prepared from before the foundation of the world.
