00:00:09 or a woman should not look like a man or
00:00:11 act like right
00:00:13 right but i think there’s some cultural
00:00:15 things that go along with this like
00:00:17 scott is kilts right and
00:00:20 in america if a guy wears a a dress
00:00:23 which or uh skirt i think is the right
00:00:26 word
00:00:27 it’s like you’re trying to look like a
00:00:29 girl right
00:00:31 but in scotland like bagpipers
00:00:34 they were the kilt which is basically a
00:00:37 skirt
00:00:38 and right i mean you’ve got your your
00:00:41 tunics and your togas and and you got
00:00:44 your kilts and you got
00:00:46 your sarongs i guess i don’t know if
00:00:49 sarongs are specifically to females but
00:00:52 i’m not familiar with that one but um
00:00:55 it’s like an
00:00:56 it’s a indian uh
00:01:00 clothing i think it’s indian or it could
00:01:03 be polynesian but they
00:01:05 it’s a
00:01:08 and i’m probably getting it wrong but
00:01:10 there there’s a wrap around
00:01:13 um that’s very much like a kilt
00:01:17 in polynesian cultures um
00:01:21 oh yeah i i know polynesians have
00:01:23 something like it kilt
00:01:25 i don’t remember what they call it but
00:01:26 now that you mentioned i do kind of
00:01:28 recall that
00:01:31 and honestly i mean
00:01:35 it’s acceptable for men to wear kilts
00:01:37 even in america
00:01:38 it’s just you know don’t expect us to
00:01:41 think that you’re a guy if you’re
00:01:42 wearing pink
00:01:43 polka dots oh yeah well pink used to be
00:01:46 a guy’s color but
00:01:47 that’s what i’m kind of saying is i
00:01:48 think it’s somewhat cultural
00:01:50 that command you got to take culture
00:01:52 into account because
00:01:54 like in the apostles days they didn’t
00:01:56 have pants
00:01:58 so in today’s standard they were wearing
00:02:01 dresses
00:02:02 almost right so i do think there’s some
00:02:04 cultural context
00:02:05 to it well you know gerd your loins
00:02:08 basically means
00:02:09 take that skirt and tie it into a knot
00:02:13 you know so basically turn it into like
00:02:15 really short shorts
00:02:17 yeah basically but
00:02:20 yeah so i i though one thing
00:02:23 like in argentina
00:02:26 and they do this to be funny but guys
00:02:28 dress up as intentionally to look like
00:02:31 women and i think that’s actually a
00:02:33 direct
00:02:34 breaking of that commandment because
00:02:36 they’re doing it to look like the other
00:02:37 sex
00:02:38 we’re like that’s their culture to
00:02:42 they’re doing drag queen stuff yes
00:02:44 they’re doing drag queen
00:02:45 and they’re doing it to try to be funny
00:02:46 but they’re trying
00:02:48 to do they’re being a drag queen on
00:02:50 purpose and i think that’s a
00:02:51 breaking of that commandment where the
00:02:54 kilt
00:02:55 is that’s just the culture guys wore
00:02:57 that right
00:02:59 um so well you gotta do something with
00:03:02 that
00:03:02 nine yards you know i mean the thing
00:03:07 whole nine yards was referring to the
00:03:10 yardage that they would use of this
00:03:14 blanket basically you know that they
00:03:16 would just wrap around it was like they
00:03:17 literally took the tent around
00:03:19 you know it wasn’t just a kilt it was it
00:03:22 was the whole
00:03:23 nine yards you know it was a tent it was
00:03:26 a sleeping bag it was a
00:03:28 you know it was huh well i didn’t know
00:03:31 that but that makes sense because
00:03:33 modern society especially electricity
00:03:35 and
00:03:36 sewing machines has made sewing a lot
00:03:38 more
00:03:40 doable than it was right older days um
00:03:44 and so of course you don’t have to live
00:03:46 and you’re killed anymore either so

00:03:50 had like one nice
00:03:52 pair of clothes and then and then they
00:03:55 lived in
00:03:56 one other right
00:03:59 the the modern conveniences have changed
00:04:02 the culture in a lot of areas

00:04:18 i think some of that that’s one that i
00:04:19 think is somewhat based on
00:04:22 culture and not like an absolute
00:04:25 um which is generally speaking not

00:04:29 tend to say but i think that one kind of
00:04:33 leans towards that that might be because
00:04:35 i just
00:04:36 i don’t know the word well enough but i
00:04:40 we i think we both agreed that the
00:04:42 apostles wore
00:04:44 basically dresses compared to today’s
00:04:48 standards right i mean they didn’t call
00:04:49 it address then but
00:04:51 right i think it was what robes
00:04:54 yeah i think they call it robes who
00:04:56 knows i mean
00:05:09 you know we have some of the most
00:05:10 interesting conversations it’s like
00:05:13 this week fashion
00:05:18 oh man fashion today is
00:05:22 um crazy but anyways i
00:05:26 today’s fashion i think the fa some of
00:05:29 the
00:05:29 things i’ve seen is that they’re
00:05:31 actually trying to make men look like
00:05:32 girls
00:05:33 um and i am not going to do any of that
00:05:37 they have utterly made a push
00:05:41 for wow i mean
00:05:47 did you know that most trans
00:05:51 most transitions when you’re talking
00:05:54 gender transitions
00:05:57 like almost 75 of them are actually
00:06:01 girls to men i didn’t know that
00:06:07 we have somewhere along the line
00:06:12 as a society we have told women

00:11:05 says that the book of mormon only
00:11:07 teaches against polygamy
00:11:10 so either he was a liar or
00:11:14 well i do think he’s a liar but i don’t
00:11:17 think he’s lighting
00:11:18 oh i see what you’re saying he didn’t

00:11:21 although he he was honest in court
00:11:24 though
00:11:24 on lots of things that he didn’t want to

00:12:08 in the book of mormon that teach that
00:12:11 that like mosiah 15 without looking at
00:12:14 my notes is a place on that that
00:12:17 when he you know is sacrificed he shall
00:12:21 see his seed and his seed are those who
00:12:24 are
00:12:24 follow the price profits and are
00:12:27 righteous
00:12:28 and there’s other parts that go along
00:12:29 with this but yes

00:15:08 a good one that goes against the
00:15:11 prosperity gospel
00:15:12 which we see in the lds church some

00:15:15 but the last half is
00:15:19 condemning of polygamy
00:15:23 and also i think a lot of people don’t
00:15:25 realize this
00:15:27 it’s uh at least through verse 35
00:15:31 it’s all it thus saith the lord except a
00:15:34 little header
00:15:35 from jacob saying this is from god
00:15:39 okay um but one thing when i was working
00:15:43 on this
00:15:43 and you can see here and we can go
00:15:45 verify this if you want
00:15:46 so i have a little i have summary here
00:15:49 and then i get into the details here
00:15:52 and we can get into both but let’s look
00:15:54 at the summary first
00:15:55 but there’s two chiasms
00:15:59 and the first one goes a b c d
00:16:02 and then d c b a and the next one is a b
00:16:05 c d c b a now it’s interesting
00:16:09 to me that these are two chiasms that
00:16:12 are
00:16:12 complementary to each other meaning
00:16:16 it’s the same a b c’s and d’s
00:16:20 um also one thing
00:16:23 i forget the verse i can find it for you
00:16:25 if you want but
00:16:26 in one of the early verses it it
00:16:30 the lord where jacob’s courting quoting
00:16:33 the lord
00:16:34 basically says that you’re using a
00:16:37 misunderstanding from these
00:16:39 what happened as an excuse to
00:16:43 uh do your unrighteousness um that’s not
00:16:46 an exact quote but that’s the idea
00:16:48 that’s there i’d have to find the exact
00:16:50 quote if you’re worried about it
00:16:52 um and then also one thing that’s
00:16:55 interesting with first
00:16:56 30 which is a key one that people like
00:16:58 to talk about
00:16:59 we talked about it a little bit already
00:17:02 but
00:17:03 the last part of 30 is these
00:17:06 things now it’s interesting
00:17:10 like in verse 34 as you can see right
00:17:12 here things
00:17:13 is used again and it’s in a negative
00:17:16 context the things
00:17:18 that it’s referring to is what it’s
00:17:20 condemning
00:17:22 uh solomon and david for doing it’s the
00:17:25 many wives right there things is in this
00:17:30 in this that saith the lord uh three
00:17:32 times
00:17:34 wasn’t the condemnation against david
00:17:37 and particularly against solomon because
00:17:41 of the the foreign women it was
00:17:44 the i mean there was
00:17:47 there was an admonition
00:17:52 as far as i know on david repented of
00:17:54 having multiple
00:17:55 wives uh i can look up the verse but
00:17:58 it says that he never went to them again
00:18:01 any of them
00:18:02 well after his goof ah with the
00:18:07 i’m not even saying that word right but
00:18:09 after his
00:18:10 his goof with bathsheba
00:18:15 and he was punished by having all those
00:18:18 wives and concubines taken away from him
00:18:21 but um solomon
00:18:25 i i think the the odd the admonishment
00:18:28 was particularly to solomon because
00:18:30 solomon in his
00:18:35 in his marrying all these foreign women
00:18:39 that brought in foreign religious
00:18:43 uh influences and
00:18:46 corrupted him to you know bow down at
00:18:49 their altars and stuff
00:18:51 um that was the big
00:18:55 problem that was the downfall and well
00:18:58 that’s part of it i wouldn’t say that
00:18:59 all of it because actually in torah i
00:19:02 don’t remember where we can find you if
00:19:04 you’re worried about it it says that
00:19:06 king should not multiply wives and david
00:19:08 and solomon
00:19:09 both did that right one thing that
00:19:12 uh an interesting point i can give you
00:19:14 the link to it i’ve been
00:19:17 but 119 came out with a video
00:19:20 after i started working on this this
00:19:22 post i was sharing with you
00:19:25 about jacob 2 about polygamy
00:19:28 and it brings out how there’s a hebrew
00:19:31 idiom
00:19:32 that’s mistranslated when when people
00:19:35 translate it regarding
00:19:37 polygamy but they translate it correctly
00:19:39 when dealing with other things
00:19:42 no i’m serious here i’ll i believe you i
00:19:45 do
00:19:46 i’ll give the link to the video um

00:19:51 with the amount of little time that you
00:19:52 have right now but i’ll put it in the

00:20:05 1835 dnc a 101
00:20:08 the one anti-polygamy section that the
00:20:10 league’s church removed fact they’re the
00:20:12 only mainstream that removed it
00:20:14 right actually goes right along with
00:20:17 uh what one of 19 ministries is teaching
00:20:20 that the torah says about polygamy
00:20:25 jacob too doesn’t have consequences
00:20:27 torah doesn’t have consequences i mean
00:20:29 it goes point by point
00:20:31 it’s completely following it it’s just
00:20:33 there’s a
00:20:34 mistranslation that has really made a
00:20:36 lot of people
00:20:37 stumble on this issue
00:20:41 and that’s one thing i was so happy when
00:20:44 i saw that
00:20:45 after i started working on this post it
00:20:47 was like a month into it or something
00:20:48 like that i don’t remember exactly
00:20:51 because it completely validated that and
00:20:54 some other things that i have been
00:20:56 i received i believe i received from god
00:20:59 and they kind of confirmed it
00:21:00 like ruth so people say there’s examples
00:21:05 or let me start this again sorry i
00:21:07 didn’t come out the best
00:21:08 but when i was looking more into this
00:21:12 issue god told me that ruth is an
00:21:15 example
00:21:16 that of the liverite law i don’t know if
00:21:19 you know what the levite
00:21:20 law is isn’t that where you marry your
00:21:23 brothers your so your brother is
00:21:26 supposed to marry
00:21:27 your wife if if you pass away
00:21:30 for the sake of children remembrance and
00:21:33 name
00:21:34 right right it’s but there’s
00:21:37 parts of it that a lot of people don’t
00:21:38 like to bring up because ldsites
00:21:40 brigamites like to use that as in
00:21:42 justification for polygamy it’s not
00:21:44 because it’s only if the wife had no
00:21:47 children if the wife had children that
00:21:50 does not apply
00:21:51 right um but ruth and
00:21:55 boaz i hope i’m remembering his name
00:21:58 right i’m pretty sure i am
00:21:59 it is correct you’re correct that’s good
00:22:02 but he had to go through steps because
00:22:06 there was a
00:22:06 it’s not just brother it’s the closest
00:22:08 kin because right
00:22:10 boaz was not the the brother he was the
00:22:12 closest
00:22:13 he was the i think this he wasn’t
00:22:15 actually even the closest kid
00:22:16 he was the second closest and this is
00:22:18 where right deals with the story here
00:22:21 but the closest of kin couldn’t take her
00:22:24 because he would have been i forget the
00:22:26 word in the king james but it would have
00:22:28 defiled him
00:22:32 meaning and i take that to be that he
00:22:35 already had a wife
00:22:37 it’s possible i don’t know
00:22:40 but the 119 ministries brings out how
00:22:42 they’ve done their research and he did
00:22:44 have a life so it goes along with what i
00:22:46 believe
00:22:47 god told me on it when he told me to go
00:22:50 look into ruth
00:22:51 on it but anyways so i feel somewhat
00:22:53 validated with that and i’m
00:22:56 when i finish that post i’m going to be
00:22:58 including that and some other things

00:23:04 that claim that lehigh lived the
00:23:07 liberite law
00:23:08 with um
00:23:13 the other father that died’s wife i’m
00:23:16 forgetting in the name right now dang it

00:23:23 and he brought um oh

00:23:56 who has stated that ishmael

00:24:08 wife and he has some
00:24:12 texts in the book of mormon he thinks
00:24:13 supports that but i have texts in the
00:24:15 book of mormon it shows that he’s
00:24:18 doing a confirmation bias on it and i
00:24:20 bring
00:24:21 i’ll be bringing that in also um and
00:24:24 also the isaiah chapter about you know
00:24:27 cleaning under seven women uh has to do
00:24:30 with deuteronomy 28 and they’re and
00:24:32 get their own garments those who go
00:24:34 after their own garments don’t go after
00:24:35 god’s ways
00:24:37 anyways there’s a lot that goes into
00:24:40 some of these things and
00:24:42 i was putting a lot of effort into it
00:24:44 but then i just got a
00:24:46 i got drained on it
00:24:49 to be honest because all the work i put
00:24:50 into it because i it is
00:24:52 a lot of work i mean you know
00:24:56 trying to put together
00:25:00 an understanding that isn’t through the

00:25:24 scripture that shows what basically i’m
00:25:26 showing and i try to just tie the
00:25:27 scriptures together and that’s what i
00:25:29 try to do
00:25:30 um and so it
00:25:34 it’s draining it can be some have been
00:25:37 more draining than others but the
00:25:38 the one that i’ve been working on for
00:25:41 the jacob
00:25:42 2-1 um it was draining
00:25:46 and i had to take a break and i need to
00:25:49 get back to it i have
00:25:50 two or three i want to do first that
00:25:53 aren’t going to be so big
00:25:54 and one i hope to have done on friday
