Summary:
Parable of the worker is about what time of our life when we accept Yeshua. No repenting after we die. Sleep is a Hebrew idiom for death. We are saved by Yeshua’s righteousness. Doesn’t matter when we start, it matters that we do start and stay. We are to do the masters labor / work aka Torah. Torah states to love your neighbor, preach to them, and to call them to repentance. Hour can mean test. YHWH is not a partial judge, and uses Torah. It’s not about a race, it’s not a nationality, it’s a job description. Faith is trust and diligence, and when you don’t do the works of righteousness you show you don’t trust and are not being diligent. Satan will grant any pray if he can use you, YHWH will answer prayers according to His name / character which is defined in Torah. The 11th hour did not know where to look. The 11th hour also points to just before the second coming. Definition of fair. Definitions of words change. Become join heirs with Yeshua of His glory. Jeremiah is a good example of a prophet not cursing YHWH and never saying anything against YHWH. Telestraial glory. Evil eye, being stingy, evil eye is covetous. Least equates telestial glory. If your interpretation / translations against scripture you are wrong and need to repent. Looking into Isaiah 29 some, we should not want sin, and we should not bear false witness against others. Part of judgement day could be about why did we not accept Yeshua. All are taught some part of the gospel.

00:00:06 over the parable of the worker in
00:00:09 Matthew 20 um verses 1-
00:00:14 16 um so I had an inspiration not too
00:00:18 long ago
00:00:19 about what it’s about and um it’d be
00:00:23 good to you know just read the verses
00:00:25 and talk about them but to to start off
00:00:30 uh the parable of the
00:00:32 worker is not about different
00:00:37 dispensations um and no one can really
00:00:40 point to how it’s that the case
00:00:44 um it’s about what time of our life that
00:00:49 we accept Yeshua okay so so what we’re
00:00:54 going to find is that this is a
00:00:58 basically a story Al iteration of this
00:01:01 idea that it doesn’t matter how you
00:01:04 start or even when you start it matters
00:01:06 that you
00:01:07 start yes and ultimately that you stay
00:01:12 right right ultimately that you stay
00:01:15 right uh because at the end the early
00:01:19 workers um
00:01:22 do uh kind of show how their heart is
00:01:25 turned away right um I I mean that could
00:01:29 be be reading into it some but the fact
00:01:31 that they’re
00:01:32 complaining shows that their heart
00:01:36 hasn’t been changed that they haven’t
00:01:38 been born again yeah that they that they
00:01:40 weren’t doing what they were doing for
00:01:41 the right
00:01:43 reasons yes um and so all throughout the
00:01:48 scriptures uh a Bible and Book of Mormon
00:01:52 it talks about how this is the
00:01:55 day to work out our Salvation this is
00:01:58 the time to prepare prepare to meet
00:02:01 Yahweh
00:02:02 Elohim for when it is
00:02:05 dark no work can be
00:02:08 done including repentance there is no
00:02:11 repentance after you die Bible and the
00:02:14 Book of Mormon teaches that and of
00:02:16 course the darkness they’re referring to
00:02:18 is death correct um
00:02:23 sleep it is actually a Hebrew idiom um
00:02:28 for death and yeah you find that you
00:02:33 find that actually voiced beautifully in
00:02:35 the book of Acts where it says that uh
00:02:37 after Stephen had prayed to the Lord
00:02:40 that the that this not be charged to
00:02:43 those who were that the misdeed not be
00:02:45 charg to those who are stoning them it
00:02:47 says simply he went to
00:02:50 sleep right uh another one is the
00:02:53 parable I mean not the parable the
00:02:55 history of Lazarus and Yeshua raising
00:02:57 him um from the dead to be immortal
00:03:04 again right right um because there he
00:03:07 talks about how he’s sleeping and and
00:03:09 they weren’t the apostles weren’t
00:03:11 catching the idiom the symbolism and so
00:03:15 he just comes out and said he’s
00:03:19 dead um in fact it’s just kind of funny
00:03:24 that why would Yeshua need to go there
00:03:26 and wake him up unless he did die right
00:03:30 right right right if he was if he was
00:03:33 just sleeping because we all know that
00:03:36 for most maladies sleep is actually
00:03:38 quite uh quite the
00:03:41 Healer yes and we all wake up exactly
00:03:46 either late or early we all wake
00:03:48 up so right need someone to go wake you
00:03:52 up um well other than maybe your mother
00:03:56 and it’s time to go to school but you
00:03:57 get the picture you don’t need soone
00:04:00 City coming to come wake you up right
00:04:02 though if you have though if you have
00:04:04 had enough accident
00:04:06 circumstances uh and there’s a and
00:04:08 there’s times when you’re supposed to be
00:04:10 doing stuff sometimes you might need to
00:04:12 be woken up in order to keep those times
00:04:14 such as uh say
00:04:18 prayers sure sure um anyways okay fair
00:04:23 enough I I think with that introduction
00:04:26 I think the next best thing to do is
00:04:29 read the verse
00:04:30 and talk about them and show how this
00:04:35 interpretation that it’s about what time
00:04:37 of our life that we accept
00:04:39 Yeshua
00:04:40 um fits
00:04:43 okay there is a little more than there
00:04:45 is stuff other than just that but I do
00:04:48 would say that the majority of it is
00:04:51 about what time of our life that we
00:04:54 accept okay and and to go along with
00:04:57 that um I just flicked that the penny
00:05:03 represents going to heaven salvation
00:05:06 being saved I was gonna say it
00:05:08 represents eternal life reward that
00:05:10 represents the
00:05:13 reward right and and part of the reason
00:05:16 I would say to support that is it
00:05:18 doesn’t matter how long you worked you
00:05:20 got the same amount which which points
00:05:25 to the fact which points to that which
00:05:27 is not dependent upon our
00:05:30 works uh though our works can help with
00:05:33 the
00:05:34 reward uh in the end but that
00:05:38 salvation is not works dependent many of
00:05:42 us have received our justification
00:05:44 before we were fully obedient um to the
00:05:48 ru of kodesh yes which is justification
00:05:52 um but along with before we go Sidetrack
00:05:55 too much more I do want to say we are
00:05:57 saved by yeshua’s righteousness SL Works
00:06:02 yes not our own yes um and that’s why it
00:06:05 didn’t
00:06:06 matter uh how much they actually worked
00:06:09 that they got the same reward because
00:06:11 it’s
00:06:13 not their Works righteousness that got
00:06:17 them to get what they got it was yesu
00:06:21 was righteousness so yes yes okay
00:06:25 anyways with with that I think it’s good
00:06:27 time to start um yeah let’s let’s get
00:06:30 into it okay so uh you want to start
00:06:33 with verse one Ben okay for the Kingdom
00:06:36 of Heaven is like onto a
00:06:38 man uh and householder who went out
00:06:43 early in the morning to hire laborers
00:06:45 into his Vineyard now this householder
00:06:48 this householder is
00:06:51 Elohim
00:06:53 correct um and then also morning talks
00:06:56 about uh the time of day
00:07:00 right as in it’s daytime no longer
00:07:04 nighttime it’s it’s early in the Life
00:07:07 he’s going here he’s this is about the
00:07:10 people who come in early in life right
00:07:13 right
00:07:14 um like John the Baptist right right
00:07:18 he’s a a very good example of that early
00:07:23 in life yes early in life yes well he he
00:07:27 he he got it in the womb
00:07:30 no no big deal no big deal right yeah
00:07:33 yeah the only other one that I know like
00:07:35 that is Yeshua um but correct this is
00:07:38 not a yeah this is the work
00:07:40 comp but the the the point of this
00:07:43 Parable is that it’s not a competition
00:07:44 so right right and one thing that I say
00:07:48 a lot it doesn’t matter when or how you
00:07:52 start it matters matters that you start
00:07:55 and that you stay yes yeah it matters
00:07:58 that you do start and that you stay
00:08:01 which this will kind of bring out here
00:08:04 so anyways all right uh Josh you want
00:08:07 read verse two
00:08:09 sure and when he had agreed with the
00:08:12 laborers for a penny a day he sent them
00:08:15 into his Vineyard so this is him making
00:08:18 his Covenant right yeah this is a
00:08:21 covenant this is the
00:08:24 Covenant uh so you do my work and what
00:08:28 is his work
00:08:30 Torah to keep his to keep his
00:08:32 Commandments and help other people to do
00:08:34 so right which is actually in Torah to
00:08:37 do that right it is yes uh if nothing
00:08:40 else it’s in the second great
00:08:42 commandment to love your neighbor which
00:08:45 it’s yourself right yeah yeah yeah so uh
00:08:47 actually let’s go look at that some
00:08:49 because that gets into uh more depth on
00:08:51 that just to show we’re not making it up

00:09:24 which one uh levius Leviticus ah yes
00:09:27 Leviticus 19 are we doing 17 or 18 or
00:09:30 both you can do what you want okay
00:09:33 Leviticus 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy
00:09:36 brother in thine heart Thou shalt in any
00:09:39 wise rebuke thy neighbor and not suffer
00:09:42 sin upon him so don’t get upset when
00:09:46 don’t get upset when people rebuke you
00:09:47 it shows that they love
00:09:49 you right and so here that
00:09:53 is uh Torah command which
00:09:57 includes uh preaching in it yep right
00:10:03 exactly and so here we have Leviticus
00:10:04 1918 I think I’m also going to do
00:10:06 Leviticus 1934 I love Leviticus 19 it’s
00:10:09 the heart Leviticus 19 is the heart of
00:10:12 the law and it’s my my
00:10:15 favorite um it’s my favorite chapter in
00:10:19 Leviticus because it proves the law does
00:10:21 have a
00:10:27 heart read 34 yeah I’m going to read 34
00:10:30 too Leviticus 19:18 Thou shalt not
00:10:33 avenge nor bear any grudge against the
00:10:35 children of thy people and other words
00:10:37 forgive the forgive your
00:10:39 brother or your sister as the case may
00:10:42 be since we since since all the world is
00:10:45 all about this uh equal equal mention
00:10:49 thing so uh but thou
00:10:52 shal yeah they are but Thou shalt love
00:10:56 thy neighbor as thyself I am yah
00:11:00 so the the that no new commandment here
00:11:04 that was no new commandment to love your
00:11:05 neighbor as yourself no it was yeah and
00:11:09 and in the also there something that
00:11:12 wasn’t new in the New Covenant was
00:11:15 Gentiles being allowed
00:11:18 in right um the Jews were supposed to or
00:11:22 Israel more properly should have done
00:11:24 Israel was supposed to proelite to all
00:11:26 the nations around them they were
00:11:27 supposed to be a demonstration of the
00:11:29 wisdom of Y they weren’t supposed to be
00:11:32 separate from all the other peoples
00:11:34 except in their act except in what they
00:11:37 did yeah but the stranger that dwelleth
00:11:41 among you shall be unto you as one born
00:11:43 among you and thou shalt love him as
00:11:47 thyself for ye Were Strangers in the
00:11:49 land of
00:11:50 Egypt I am yah your eloh
00:11:59 so
00:12:01 so it doesn’t matter so it doesn’t
00:12:04 matter whether you’re
00:12:05 Israel whether you’re um or whether you
00:12:09 were whether your blood Israel or
00:12:11 whether your blood Gentile pure straight
00:12:14 straighten
00:12:15 through if you Covenant with the Lord
00:12:18 for a penny for eternal
00:12:23 life you will receive that Penny if you
00:12:26 do your part correct
00:12:29 now just
00:12:31 FYI um the penny was a day wage back
00:12:36 then
00:12:38 so he’s not advocating for paying dirt
00:12:42 to people yeah this is not a parable
00:12:45 about how to stiff your workers no it’s
00:12:47 not a parable about you know um
00:12:51 trafficking or whatever yeah trafficking
00:12:54 body snatching and human trafficking no
00:12:57 yeah yeah so he’s agreed with the
00:13:00 laborers for salvation to work what he
00:13:04 wants them to do in
00:13:06 his Vineyard and this not that they can
00:13:10 then go work wherever they want and
00:13:12 still get paid
00:13:15 right what he wants and where he wants
00:13:19 and then and you can actually apply this
00:13:21 back to Isaiah chapter 5 Jacob chapter 5
00:13:25 both of those also talk about his
00:13:27 Vineyard and his work right a thought
00:13:30 just occurred to me that goes back to
00:13:32 appointed times and
00:13:34 places yeah yeah um and and and as an
00:13:38 example of a prophet that had an issue
00:13:41 with that
00:13:44 is right y Jonah didn’t
00:13:48 like uh the location that he was told to
00:13:51 go do he he didn’t like not having to
00:13:54 work not getting to work the choice
00:13:56 ground yeah um well well I it does tell
00:14:00 us in the Book of Job the reason why he
00:14:02 didn’t want to go there is because it
00:14:03 was his enemies and he didn’t want them
00:14:06 to have it yeah uh and he knew he knew
00:14:11 that when he would preached to them that
00:14:13 they would
00:14:14 accept and he didn’t want them to have
00:14:17 the blessings yeah he he is uh and I
00:14:22 didn’t do this on purpose but he’s like
00:14:24 these first guys in this Parable at
00:14:27 least initially right right right well
00:14:31 initially initially these guys are going
00:14:33 out to do the work right yeah okay so
00:14:38 initially these guys are good okay so Z
00:14:41 you want to read verse
00:14:46 three and he went out about the third
00:14:50 hour and found others standing idle in
00:14:53 the
00:14:54 marketplace
00:14:55 okay so here here are people in the
00:14:59 third hour of their
00:15:01 life um and just FYI hour it can go
00:15:06 point to test
00:15:08 okay um so at a particular test of time
00:15:13 he found
00:15:15 Yeshua Yahweh found other people not
00:15:18 knowing what to
00:15:20 do well and this is really they were
00:15:23 looking for work they they wanted
00:15:25 something they just didn’t know what it
00:15:27 was cuz they’re in the marketplace for
00:15:29 work and I think it’s really interesting
00:15:31 here because these people missed the
00:15:34 first
00:15:36 call um and when you think of these as
00:15:39 tests you think of each of these hours
00:15:41 as
00:15:43 tests just because somebody that you’re
00:15:45 trying to trying to give the gospel to
00:15:47 fails that first test they don’t take it
00:15:50 right away they might take it on the
00:15:53 third test
00:15:57 sure which goes back back to that old
00:15:59 thing that I’m always saying is if
00:16:01 there’s life There’s Hope sure sure I I
00:16:05 I agree with you but we also need to be
00:16:07 careful Yeshua did give the apostles
00:16:10 directions to leave and dust their feet
00:16:14 towards particular people not not just
00:16:16 people who didn’t just accept it but
00:16:19 ones that were being rude and crude and
00:16:21 stuff like that oh yeah yeah yeah and
00:16:23 and actually there’s an example trying
00:16:26 to persecute them yeah there’s an
00:16:28 example of Paul doing that in the book
00:16:31 of
00:16:32 Acts oh of dusting his feet or not
00:16:36 dusting his feet because I’m sure both
00:16:39 but anyway dusting his feet yeah yeah
00:16:41 moving on to a new community yeah yeah
00:16:43 yeah so there’s a place for
00:16:45 both
00:16:47 um but if they later come back to you uh
00:16:51 give them another chance right yeah that
00:16:54 you don’t have to keep working with them
00:16:56 but if they come back to you
00:16:59 give it another shot right anyway right
00:17:02 who knows they might have covenanted for
00:17:03 their Penny sure sure right uh and they
00:17:07 just needed somebody else with different
00:17:10 experience to make it click or they
00:17:12 needed something else from Yahweh to
00:17:14 make it finally click who knows right
00:17:17 that’s right but you don’t have to keep
00:17:20 helping them and keep taking their you
00:17:22 don’t have you don’t have to stand in
00:17:24 the way of the stones you don’t have to
00:17:26 go out seeking the stones to get stoned
00:17:27 with sure right right okay anyways so
00:17:31 I’ll read verse
00:17:32 four right and said unto them go ye also
00:17:37 into the vineyard and whatsoever is
00:17:40 right oh oh wait a
00:17:42 minute I will give unto you and they
00:17:45 went their way so after they do well go
00:17:49 ahead is this about just
00:17:52 measures uh so I whatever you s you reap
00:17:59 right well yeah so this some people
00:18:02 could say I don’t like the term Karma
00:18:05 but I I do understand why people use it
00:18:09 but I think this is more like what I
00:18:12 like the way Ben said it what you sow
00:18:14 you reap right right Y and with what
00:18:19 measure you measure it will be measured
00:18:20 to you again correct uh which goes along
00:18:23 with
00:18:25 uh right which I like better with this
00:18:27 particular statement
00:18:29 whatsoever is right I will give you so
00:18:33 whatsoever you measure will be measured
00:18:35 again to you but I think really
00:18:38 important in that whatsoever is right is
00:18:40 this
00:18:42 idea I will give you what I covenanted
00:18:44 to give you correct right I would agree
00:18:48 it goes more towards that as long as you
00:18:50 do what you’re supposed to do right
00:18:55 and yeah and he is since he is the F of
00:19:00 all righteousness
00:19:02 right he determines what is
00:19:06 right kind of story because he is our
00:19:09 judge right right and he doesn’t do it
00:19:11 willy-nilly because then that would make
00:19:13 him a partial judge it’s consistent he
00:19:16 does it very consistently and he tells
00:19:18 us what that is and it’s
00:19:21 Torah yeah yeah so and so again in verse
00:19:26 five again he went out in the sixth and
00:19:28 the ninth hour the halfway through the
00:19:30 life three qus of the way through
00:19:33 life and did
00:19:36 likewise right so here it’s just um
00:19:40 saying pretty much the same thing he
00:19:42 goes multiple times he finds people not
00:19:44 knowing what to do and he gives them a
00:19:46 job right right yep uh which is to do
00:19:50 righteousness and to well primarily
00:19:52 accept him and and come under his
00:19:54 covering come on his land his Covenant
00:19:58 and do works of righteousness right
00:20:01 which is which is why I like which is
00:20:03 why I kind of like something that I
00:20:04 heard a um an orthodox Rabbi say about
00:20:10 um being a
00:20:13 Jew he said it’s not a
00:20:16 race it’s not a
00:20:18 nationality it’s a job description
00:20:24 H it’s a job description you and uh the
00:20:28 J has been defined for you in
00:20:31 Torah and of course he his belief is
00:20:34 that the Torah contains 613 Commandments
00:20:37 because he’s an orthodox Rabbi uh right
00:20:39 right but that’s another
00:20:41 issue which is another issue entirely
00:20:44 but I like the fact I like the fact that
00:20:48 I I like the fact that he refers to um
00:20:53 the walk the walk in
00:20:56 faith as a job descript ion right um I
00:21:02 would say this goes along with what
00:21:05 James
00:21:06 says faith without works is dead meaning
00:21:12 if you claim you have trust and
00:21:15 diligence and you’re not
00:21:17 doing uh works of righteousness defined
00:21:20 in Torah you don’t really have faith
00:21:23 because you’re not really trusting and
00:21:25 you’re not being diligent boom
00:21:29 so I once you know when faith is not so
00:21:33 mystici ised anymore it makes these
00:21:36 statements a lot more understandable in
00:21:39 my yeah when you when you
00:21:42 actually when you actually look at when
00:21:45 you actually look at the Walk of Faith
00:21:47 as you walking in good faith with
00:21:51 Elohim
00:21:56 right yeah you made a promise
00:21:59 you agreed to do a job you do that job
00:22:02 and he gives you at trusting that he
00:22:05 will provide that which he has promised
00:22:07 you in his Torah
00:22:10 yeah yep yep along those lines
00:22:16 um Satan is the one that will honor
00:22:20 prayers for anything and everything if
00:22:22 he thinks he can use you Yahweh will
00:22:25 honor the prayers that are in his
00:22:28 character that is defined in
00:22:33 Torah hence in his name slash character
00:22:38 slash Behavior slash and when you have
00:22:42 Torah written on your heart you won’t
00:22:44 ask a Miss uhhuh be because that’s what
00:22:48 you want when it’s on your heart what
00:22:51 you want that’s why anyway right well
00:22:54 basically you
00:22:55 want what he wants you want what pleases
00:22:59 him you don’t want what he doesn’t want
00:23:01 you don’t want to do what hates what he
00:23:03 hates right your
00:23:06 desires your desires have
00:23:10 become his desires or should I say his
00:23:14 desires have become your desires I think
00:23:15 that might be more correct but
00:23:21 um so I think we can continue now um
00:23:25 yeah I I think you you kind of went
00:23:27 through verse six right Ben uh I went
00:23:30 through we did five did verse five okay
00:23:34 uh Josh you want to do six
00:23:37 here and about the 11th Hour these are
00:23:41 the old people now
00:23:43 old uh hour he went out and found others
00:23:48 standing idle and saith unto them why
00:23:52 stand ye here all the day
00:23:56 idle so he’s like what why you uh why
00:24:00 you wasted your whole life doing nothing
00:24:02 come come work for me it’s kind of like
00:24:05 what he said to Paul or
00:24:08 Saul it’s hard for you to kick against
00:24:11 the Pricks yeah I can see that it’s it’s
00:24:14 close yeah yeah yeah and they said unto
00:24:18 him because no man hath hired
00:24:21 us right and he’s like well I come join
00:24:24 me right that’s the next verse yeah yeah
00:24:28 this is an example where they just did
00:24:31 not know where to look well and the the
00:24:36 thing is is I can’t help but think that
00:24:38 these 11th Hour
00:24:40 people are also the people who come to
00:24:43 Torah in this
00:24:45 time sure sure uh this for this is the
00:24:49 11th Hour of testing yeah yeah and I I
00:24:52 can see that because I do think there’s
00:24:54 multiple angles in this uh Parable here
00:24:57 and I I would agree with that in fact
00:24:59 there’s a portion later if I remember
00:25:03 correctly about the first and the last
00:25:04 and last and the first that would also
00:25:07 give some Credence to that um
00:25:10 interpretation this is also a great
00:25:12 example of his loving kindness and his
00:25:18 Mercy um he is always trying to reach
00:25:23 his children he never gives up he he he
00:25:27 is all always reaching
00:25:30 out right
00:25:31 and it doesn’t like we said before it
00:25:35 doesn’t matter when you start it matters
00:25:38 that you start and that you stay and
00:25:41 that’s what he is looking for from us
00:25:46 yeah yes completely
00:25:49 agree uh so we’ve summarized verse
00:25:52 eight yep sure
00:25:55 did yeah uh so I’ll just it since uh we
00:26:00 already summarized it but we should read
00:26:01 it he said unto them go ye also into the
00:26:04 vineyard and whatsoever is right you
00:26:06 shall receive so there we go the same
00:26:09 promise the same promise as made to
00:26:12 those in the first hour and second third
00:26:15 fourth sixth seventh fourth nth all of
00:26:19 them right all of them so Zach will you

00:26:29 so when even was come the Lord of The
00:26:32 Vineyard saith unto his servant call the
00:26:35 laborers and give them their hire
00:26:37 beginning from the last until the
00:26:39 first okay so
00:26:41 evening day is done right that’s Sunset
00:26:47 yep um for the 12 hours right because we
00:26:50 have 12 hours to work and sometimes
00:26:54 kindall like that’s funny things yes um
00:26:59 and at this is uh Judgment
00:27:04 Day
00:27:07 yes uh because we’re going to go see
00:27:09 what they’ve done right yeah and it also
00:27:14 also helps point to Judgment Day type of
00:27:17 stuff with the last onto the first right
00:27:20 first the first shall be last and the
00:27:22 last shall be first yeah yeah so and
00:27:26 give them what they hire or what they
00:27:30 earned as
00:27:32 in did they stay under their Covenant or
00:27:36 did they leave it right right because
00:27:39 that’ll get more obvious because you
00:27:41 well most people already know what this
00:27:43 Parable is to like the surface part so
00:27:46 everybody knows they’re given the same
00:27:48 thing so I’m not they stay faithful to
00:27:50 their hire right right um right so uh
00:27:55 alry jst 10 and when they came the
00:28:00 hirers or hired sorry that began at the
00:28:04 11th Hour they received Every Man a
00:28:07 penny so here are the people who either
00:28:12 and this is where this has multiple
00:28:14 meanings and near the end of their life
00:28:16 and just before the second coming
00:28:20 right um they came under yeshua’s
00:28:23 covering and stayed under it yep and
00:28:27 they
00:28:30 God they receive the same they receive
00:28:32 the same penny that Abraham receives yes
