Summary:

Connection of the third part and the parable of the talents. Numbers are symbolic of things. Three is symbolic of redemption. Ten is a number of ordinal perfection. Torah is the perfect law. Revelation 8, Revelation 12, 2 Samuel 18 and the third parts. Three parts could be better stated today as three groups. Matthew 25:14-30 parable of the talents and the three people / groups. Interest instead of usury. Hard man is denying mercy. Earth / dust is Satan’s domain. Third part of the Heaven rejects the Messiah. Denying the Holy Spirit.  Adon / lord not YHWH. A hundredth part is about pointing to the promise. Three instead of four in Matthew 25. What is the problem with drinking to much grape juice? Alcohol is in tons of things including honey and bread. Alcohol is a preserver. Wine, alcoholic, represents joy and Yeshua’s atonement. Yeshua’s atonement relaxes you, as alcohol does. Third is outer darkness and not Telestial. Paul teaches we should not continue to sin. Joseph Smith teaches us not to sin and repent daily. Delayed gratifications.

00:00:05 so over the course of last night um Josh
00:00:10 Stephen Zach and myself were discussing
00:00:13 the priesthood and
00:00:16 um how one comes about it and while we
00:00:19 were discussing that I had a uh
00:00:22 particularly interesting insight into
00:00:25 the U into the nature of the third part
00:00:30 um and how it’s connected to the parable
00:00:34 of the
00:00:35 talents
00:00:37 um you know and it’s so without further
00:00:41 Ado I want to get into the scriptural
00:00:43 basis for first thing that I want to
00:00:46 point
00:00:47 out is that in the Hebrew scriptures
00:00:49 when it talks about the third part it’s
00:00:51 not talking about a mathematical third
00:00:54 when it talks about any sort of part
00:00:56 it’s not talking about a mathematical
00:00:58 part it’s talking about this part this
00:01:01 part and then there’s the third
00:01:04 part yeah so like three groups yeah
00:01:08 there’s basically not necessarily uh the
00:01:11 same size Oh you mean not like one third
00:01:13 one third and then another third right
00:01:16 be like a tenth of like a tenth the
00:01:20 tenth part would be there are 10
00:01:22 groups and that’s the 10th group right
00:01:25 gotcha yeah but what I’m saying is one
00:01:28 group can be one tenth one group can be
00:01:30 510s and then whatever right essentially
00:01:35 okay so to the Hebrews the mathematical
00:01:38 construction of the group is not as
00:01:40 important as the groups as the fact
00:01:44 there are 10 groups or three groups as
00:01:46 it were right right and it’s because
00:01:49 numbers are symbolic of things right
00:01:53 makes sense yeah the numbers actually
00:01:55 have extra symbology in and of
00:01:57 themselves and and so the when you’re
00:02:00 about the third group we’re talking
00:02:01 about the the number three is symbolic
00:02:04 of
00:02:05 redemption yes and so when you’re
00:02:08 talking about the so when you’re talking
00:02:10 about the third group now you know that
00:02:12 we’re dealing with groups uh you know
00:02:15 that there’s a pretty good chance that
00:02:16 we’re dealing with groups that are about
00:02:19 Redemption correct
00:02:22 okay um so you know and so this and just
00:02:27 to um just to provide this scriptural
00:02:30 basis for all of these
00:02:34 groups
00:02:35 um I need to let me bring it back to the
00:02:39 beginning here first off the idea that
00:02:42 all groups are not that all groups are
00:02:44 not
00:02:45 equal uh the fir one of these areas
00:02:49 where it talks about the
00:02:51 tenth it’s basically the 10 it’s
00:02:53 basically referring to the tenth part
00:02:55 that doesn’t necessarily mean a
00:02:56 mathematical tenth but yet and it shall
00:02:57 be a tenth now when it talks about when
00:03:00 it when you’re talking about a tenth a
00:03:03 group the tenth part 10 is 10 is a
00:03:06 number of ordinal Perfection correct so
00:03:11 when he’s talking about uh but yet in it
00:03:14 shall be a tenth he’s talking about
00:03:15 those who are
00:03:18 perfected
00:03:20 okay and it shall return so along with
00:03:23 that let me add a little bit uh
00:03:27 Perfection has 10 div
00:03:32 visions of Torah and Torah is the
00:03:36 perfect law that
00:03:39 is goad so this once again we’re we’re
00:03:43 seeing how he’s actually spinning
00:03:45 commentary on the law into
00:03:48 prophecy it’s really interesting really
00:03:51 interesting how the spirit of Prophecy
00:03:53 Works within the prophets but yet in it
00:03:57 shall be a tenth and it shall return and
00:03:59 shall be eaten as a teal tree and as an
00:04:01 oak whose substance is in them okay so
00:04:04 um if you’re reading a scripture maybe

00:04:35 it shall be a tenth and it shall return
00:04:37 and shall be eaten as the teal tree as
00:04:39 an oak tree uh and those are both those
00:04:43 both both of those trees actually have
00:04:45 symbolic meaning as well whose substance
00:04:48 is in them when they cast their leaves
00:04:50 so the holy seed shall be the substance
00:04:54 thereof now so the oak is an the oak is
00:04:58 the the oak represents exaltation and
00:05:02 power um so shall the holy seed so sh so
00:05:06 the holy seed shall be in the substance
00:05:12 thereof so that that’s that’s one
00:05:15 example of the 10th now we go into the
00:05:17 third and here in the Book of
00:05:20 Revelations we have we have it
00:05:24 here
00:05:26 um starting in chapter first in chapter
00:05:30 8 where it talks about the third part of
00:05:32 the sea becoming blood the third part of
00:05:34 the trees are burnt up uh this is not
00:05:37 talking about um this is not talking
00:05:39 about mathematical thirds are you done
00:05:41 are you quite done Ben yes I think you I
00:05:44 think you boys can put yourselves to bed
00:05:46 right okay so let me pause for a
00:05:50 minute okay so when we were uh when
00:05:55 there when we had that slight
00:05:56 Interruption from uh from my lovely
00:05:59 children
00:06:00 we had that we were talking about the
00:06:01 third part in Revelations chapter 8 we
00:06:04 have talking about the third third part
00:06:07 of the sea became blood the third part
00:06:09 of the ships are
00:06:10 destroyed um third part of the rivers
00:06:13 are dried up or are called are corrupted
00:06:17 uh and now when again there’s symbology
00:06:20 for all of these El here uh the third
00:06:24 part of the creatures that were in the
00:06:26 sea that had and had life died that
00:06:28 means third part of Satan’s
00:06:33 followers
00:06:35 um third part of the rivers that’s a
00:06:37 third part of the people uh the third
00:06:41 part of the sea so on 10 just FYI not a
00:06:45 big deal uh I do think that has more to
00:06:48 do with the coming destruction than that
00:06:51 does of Satan I
00:06:52 believe okay that’s fine that’s fine but
00:06:58 especially a little bit but anyways but
00:07:00 the point but the point you’re pushing
00:07:02 right now is the thir part
00:07:06 parts parts they’re not mathematical
00:07:09 equations yeah yeah I I I don’t think
00:07:12 God’s uh separating the
00:07:14 sea uh into three equal parts um this is
00:07:20 symbolis yeah yeah I
00:07:22 yeah that doesn’t make too much sense
00:07:25 but anyways
00:07:28 yeah okay now
00:07:33 the the I I was looking for that verse
00:07:37 in Revelation 12 I there was verse four
00:07:41 said a third part is that what you’re
00:07:43 looking for yes okay and this is this is
00:07:46 talking about the devil referring to him
00:07:48 as the dragon and his taale drew the
00:07:50 third part of the stars of Heaven that
00:07:54 means this part this part the third part
00:07:57 lost their Redemption
00:08:01 yes because they followed Satan instead
00:08:02 of following the Messiah U right and so
00:08:06 and this actually will continue and as
00:08:08 we see when we go into uh the parable on
00:08:11 the talents this will continue to play
00:08:13 out in the Judgment once
00:08:15 again yeah and I I mean Ben already said
00:08:18 this but I’m bringing it out again uh
00:08:20 three has to do with the No Redemption
00:08:22 so when the third part rejected the
00:08:25 Messiah they’re
00:08:27 rejecting uh Redemption
00:08:30 yeah right so so once again more on the
00:08:34 third part here uh second Samuel
00:08:38 18 let’s
00:08:41 see yes and David sent forth a third
00:08:43 part of the people under the hand of
00:08:44 joah and a third part on the so he
00:08:46 divided the once again he’s showing that
00:08:49 this is dividing people into three parts
00:08:50 it doesn’t State how many people are in
00:08:52 each part simply that there were three
00:08:54 parts right so in today’s bacular three
00:08:58 groups might make more sense right right
00:09:01 right right right he broke them up into
00:09:04 three groups and said go do your thing
00:09:06 right yeah and then second Kings chapter
00:09:10 11
00:09:12 um je this is jeho he’s setting up uh
00:09:17 he’s setting up he’s setting up the um
00:09:22 he’s setting up stuff surrounding the
00:09:24 Sabbath right right and the and the
00:09:27 temple the third part shall be at the
00:09:29 gate of sir and the third part at the
00:09:31 gate behind the guard so so shall you
00:09:34 keep watch of the house that it be shall
00:09:36 that it be not broken down two parts of
00:09:38 you that go forth on the Sabbath even
00:09:41 they shall keep the watch of the House
00:09:43 of the of yahwah about the king so the
00:09:47 so this is he’s dividing them he’s
00:09:49 divided them into three parts into three
00:09:51 into three groups and two of them two of
00:09:55 them on duty two one off at all times
00:10:02 so this third part is all over the place
00:10:04 yeah so just that just lets you know
00:10:07 that the and and and I there were a
00:10:09 couple more examples but let’s so let’s
00:10:11 go from there to um Matthew chapter
00:10:16 25 um and here we have three parts
00:10:21 within the parable itself uh and just to
00:10:25 make it clear this the parable of the
00:10:26 talents this is the parable of the
00:10:28 talents Matthew Matthew chapter
00:10:30 25:
00:10:32 14 um 14
00:10:37 through3 is for the Kingdom of Heaven is
00:10:40 a man traveling into a far country who
00:10:42 called his own servants and delivered
00:10:43 unto them his Goods when he gives five
00:10:45 another two another one goes for a goes
00:10:48 away for a
00:10:49 while and he comes back and the F person
00:10:53 with the five talents I’ve gained them
00:10:55 five talents more well done
00:10:59 enter into the joy of thy Lord the
00:11:01 second I got two more talents he says
00:11:04 well done enter thou into the joy of thy
00:11:06 Lord uh we’ve already talked about the
00:11:09 five and the two sure sure I’ll add a

00:12:06 reap where I sh not and gathered where I

00:12:10 have put thy money my money to the
00:12:12 exchangers then at my coming I should
00:12:13 have received my own with

00:12:19 better take therefore the talent from
00:12:22 him and give it unto him which hath 10
00:12:24 talents why is he why is everything
00:12:26 getting taken from him he gave him back
00:12:28 what was his right but like a look at
00:12:30 what he says up
00:12:31 here I knew thee that thou art an hard
00:12:35 man he’s denying the Redemption yeah
00:12:38 yeah as in denying Mercy he’s denying
00:12:42 Mercy reaping where thou Hast not
00:12:46 sown and Gathering where thou Hast not
00:12:49 straw oh
00:12:52 wow well I just had a connection with
00:12:54 one of the verses that you read earlier
00:12:56 about the tale right and he took the
00:12:59 third part with him and yeah to the
00:13:02 Earth
00:13:04 yes yeah and he buried his talent in the
00:13:08 Earth yeah yeah so the Earth is the dust
00:13:12 Satan’s domain right to
00:13:15 everyone that hath shall be given and he
00:13:19 shall have abundance but from him that
00:13:22 hath not shall be taken away even that
00:13:23 which he
00:13:26 ha those who deny
00:13:30 what every man has access
00:13:33 to it will be taken away from
00:13:38 them yeah and thus you have the third
00:13:42 part of the host of
00:13:46 Heaven denying the and this is carried
00:13:49 out again at Judgment Day where the
00:13:52 third
00:13:53 part of those who come to the Earth
00:14:00 will be

00:14:11 Redemption because they denied it they
00:14:15 denied the nature of their
00:14:19 Elohim yeah which FYI is
00:14:22 denying the Holy
00:14:25 Spirit and so a the unpardonable
00:14:29 I I used I used the impersonal Adon here
00:14:33 on
00:14:34 purpose oh I agree I I think that is
00:14:37 what was said there or done um so
00:14:42 because this person has no personal
00:14:44 relation these people have no personal
00:14:47 relationship well you know so this is a
00:14:49 parable talking about
00:14:53 people receiving an Adon of theirs this
00:14:57 is not which then represents Yahweh but
00:15:00 I do believe the proper one in Hebrew is
00:15:03 a done there yeah he’s not saying Yahweh
00:15:06 because in that’s not a parable yeah
00:15:09 right right right
00:15:11 right and so but but I think that but
00:15:14 that is the Insight in the connection
00:15:16 that I had with regards to the third
00:15:19 part of Heaven the
00:15:21 third the third of the host of
00:15:25 Earth the three
00:15:27 servants m and I I really appreciate
00:15:31 that he had that uh yesterday because
00:15:34 I’ve always wondered um with this being
00:15:37 about the Kingdom of Heaven why three
00:15:40 and not four like in the parable of the
00:15:43 SE right parable of is four right and
00:15:47 and we were talking number in fact U to
00:15:50 be a little more specific how it came up
00:15:52 I was bringing up how looking up at one
00:15:55 100th part so a h hundredth has to do
00:15:59 about the
00:16:00 promise right children and the followers
00:16:03 and so that’s what the book of Mormon’s
00:16:05 about so it’s it’s an interesting phrase
00:16:10 from The Book of Mormon right but then
00:16:12 if you know the symbology behind the
00:16:15 number it makes a lot more
00:16:18 sense uh but then Ben I’m like uh
00:16:24 brought up well challenging him to
00:16:26 expand some and see how what he would
00:16:28 say say about the one the third
00:16:31 part and he he had a different Insight
00:16:35 than I thought he would which was good
00:16:37 but it was this one um where the one
00:16:40 that I was thinking is how they were
00:16:42 rejecting their
00:16:44 Redemption but then started making some
00:16:47 other connections I hadn’t even
00:16:48 considered which I’m grateful that he
00:16:50 did because that answered for me my
00:16:54 wondering of why three instead of four
00:16:57 Matthew 25
00:16:59 y that is why the three because this is
00:17:02 a tale of
00:17:04 redemption and those who will choose to
00:17:07 forego
00:17:11 it yeah uh and I I’m very grateful that
00:17:15 he had that inside yeah thank you Ben

00:18:36 drinking alcoholic wine wine by

00:19:25 of what their Church teaches and because
00:19:28 of mod Refrigeration they don’t
00:19:31 understand the purpose of it right one
00:19:34 of the purposes there’s multiple
00:19:36 purposes to it right yeah well one of
00:19:38 the purposes one of the purposes I think
00:19:40 we all understand very
00:19:44 well yes it’s to relax right and
00:19:50 celebrate as it were and and guess what
00:19:53 wine
00:19:55 alcoholic represents yeshua’s atonement
00:19:59 enjoy yes right which if you accept the
00:20:04 atonement and turn to him and forsake
00:20:07 your sins and live the law you can have
00:20:11 oh wow in this life even yeah oh there
00:20:17 goes all the mystery and guess
00:20:19 what um the atonement relaxes you still
00:20:24 have things you have to go through yes
00:20:27 yes yes yes there
00:20:30 reles there is stuff that is going to
00:20:33 happen in
00:20:36 life there’s going to be bad things but
00:20:38 the knowledge of the atonement can
00:20:41 soften many of these blows oh yeah yeah
00:20:45 and that’s a whole another lesson and
