00:00:00 Yes.
00:00:02 >> All right. So, this is this is where we
00:00:04 want to talk about a little bit of um a
00:00:07 little bit of we want Stephen has
00:00:10 Steven’s made a kayazm of Third Nephi
00:00:14 chapter 9
00:00:16 Third Nephi chapter 9. And we want him
00:00:18 to show how um
00:00:23 show that kayazm and talk about it a
00:00:25 little bit.
00:00:27 >> Uh can you turn sharing on please? Oh,
00:00:29 yes. I forgot about that. There you go.
00:00:43 Okay. So, um let me
00:00:48 go get the kaism. There’s um there’s a a
00:00:52 bit on this page. Oh, and you it
00:00:54 probably be good if I make this a little
00:00:57 bigger, huh? Yeah, I think
00:00:59 >> it’s kind of microscopic even for
00:01:01 anybody who would be watching.
00:01:02 >> Yeah, for the old men for the old men
00:01:04 who are looking at the screen. Let’s
00:01:06 >> Well, I’m also referring to the people
00:01:08 who might have uh be visually impaired
00:01:11 watch this.
00:01:12 >> So, uh is this big enough or should I
00:01:14 make it bigger?
00:01:15 >> I think that
00:01:16 >> maybe a little larger.
00:01:17 >> Maybe a little.
00:01:20 >> Well, that was significantly larger.
00:01:24 Well, it just it’s it’s not acting nice
00:01:27 on the location position while I’m doing
00:01:30 the zoom. Um, so is that good?
00:01:32 >> Yes.
00:01:33 >> Yes. Good.
00:01:34 >> Okay. So, uh I forget what verse we Oh,
00:01:38 we just
00:01:39 >> is where we were.
00:01:40 >> So, this kaism spans from at least
00:01:46 uh LDS 3 Nephi 9:14-22.
00:01:50 Uh there’s a chance it goes further, but
00:01:53 this was enough to
00:01:55 satisfy my um desires or needs for
00:02:00 what’s going on here. Okay. Um but an
00:02:03 important thing about kayaism, it’s a
00:02:05 Hebrew poetry and it goes um for the
00:02:08 most part A B C CBA, right? And then
00:02:12 sometimes you’ll have sub ones as you
00:02:14 can see here. And it’s important here
00:02:17 that here here’s the law of Moses. Okay,
00:02:21 ending that. And this is where a lot of
00:02:23 people think that this means the end of
00:02:25 Torah. It is not. And I’ll get at that
00:02:27 in a at least briefly. Okay. And then
00:02:30 here’s this other D that’s actually
00:02:35 talking about the same thing. Um just
00:02:38 the kayaism alone could be somewhat
00:02:41 subjective, right? But hopefully I’ll
00:02:45 show enough here that you’ll be able to
00:02:47 see why that’s the case. Now I I do have
00:02:51 some glyphs here to help give some um
00:02:54 understandings. Uh a lot of times uh I
00:02:58 put types of things to come which goes
00:03:00 along with Mosiah
00:03:03 13. Uh here I do put how that fulfilled
00:03:06 does actually mean ended or completed. I
00:03:08 I like the word ended but it’s basically
00:03:11 the same thing. Some of it’s personal
00:03:12 preference.
00:03:13 >> Yeah. Yeah. The order rendered complete
00:03:15 doesn’t need to be refilled again. So
00:03:17 yeah,
00:03:18 >> correct. Um and then that also when you
00:03:23 uh know what the law of Moses is, that
00:03:25 is primarily
00:03:27 uh a punishment that was given at the
00:03:31 time that Moses came down the mount or
00:03:33 because of when what was going on when
00:03:36 Moses came down the mount. Um
00:03:39 >> yes,
00:03:39 >> which I’ll get into. Uh there were some
00:03:43 additional sacrifices that were
00:03:45 required, the two daily lambs among some
00:03:47 others, but those are the most um famous
00:03:49 part because they’re happening or they
00:03:51 used to happen daily. Okay.
00:03:54 >> Um so, but it there’s um another
00:04:00 verse in the restoration that
00:04:04 happens. It talks about the same timing
00:04:07 that helps connect the the law of Moses
00:04:11 with the carnal commandments. Okay. So
00:04:14 that is in DNC LDS84.
00:04:19 >> Um
00:04:22 so I’m doing control F so that I don’t
00:04:24 have to find it again.
00:04:27 It’s a it’s a wonderful tool. Right.
00:04:30 >> Absolutely. I know one of Ben’s favorite
00:04:34 uh DNC sections is DNC 84. So would you
00:04:39 uh do us the honor of reading this?
00:04:42 Allow me to interrupt you at special
00:04:45 times.
00:04:46 >> Absolutely. Therefore, he took Moses out
00:04:48 of their midst and the holy priesthood
00:04:51 also and
00:04:52 >> or Melzdc priesthood. I should probably
00:04:55 >> holy priesthood. Melisedc priesthood.
00:04:56 Yeah. Yeah.
00:04:57 >> And the lesser priesthood continued.
00:04:59 That’s ironic priesthood.
00:05:02 Which priesthood holdeth the key of the
00:05:04 ministering of angels and the
00:05:07 preparatory gospel? Which gospel is the
00:05:10 gospel of repentance and baptism and the
00:05:13 remission of sins? And
00:05:15 >> okay, now those ones are still going on,
00:05:19 right? 351.
00:05:21 >> Yeah.
00:05:23 And
00:05:24 >> here’s this next part. and the law of
00:05:26 carnal commandments
00:05:28 which Ya in his wrath caused to continue
00:05:31 with the house of Aaron among the
00:05:34 children of Israel until John. Now I I I
00:05:38 would say this a little different and
00:05:40 the 1828 dictionary supports this. You
00:05:43 could say to or through John. Yeah. Now,
00:05:47 the one thing we need to be careful
00:05:50 with, it does not state it ended when
00:05:54 John died here, which can be easy to
00:05:58 read into it, but it does not actually
00:06:00 state that.
00:06:01 >> Yeah, we actually we actually uh had to
00:06:04 look at that recently and and uh
00:06:09 Stephen showed me Stephen showed me that
00:06:11 that that is the case. Until does not
00:06:14 necessarily mean up to. It could mean
00:06:17 through as well.
00:06:19 >> Correct. Now another important on this
00:06:22 other end, it’s important that it
00:06:23 started with the house of Aaron
00:06:26 as in with Aaron uh Moses’s spokesman,
00:06:31 right?
00:06:32 >> Yes.
00:06:33 >> Pointing and we’ll see in some more um
00:06:37 that it it goes back to when Moses came
00:06:42 down,
00:06:43 >> right? Yes.
00:06:45 >> Okay. So among the children of Israel
00:06:48 until John whom through John whom Elohim
00:06:52 raised up being filled with the Holy
00:06:55 Ghost or Torah from his mother’s womb.
00:06:58 For he was baptized when he was yet in
00:07:00 his childhood. That would mean Greek 7,
00:07:03 Hebrew 8.
00:07:05 >> Yeah. Uh because Hebrews do inclusive
00:07:08 time. Mhm. And was ordained by the angel
00:07:12 by the angel of Elohim
00:07:14 at the time he was 8 days old onto this
00:07:18 power to overthrow the kingdom of the
00:07:20 Jews to make straight the way of Ya
00:07:23 before the face of his people and to
00:07:25 prepare them for the coming of Yah. Now
00:07:28 the over overthrowing the kingdom of the
00:07:30 Jews that does has nothing to do with
00:07:32 overthrowing Torah. That has everything
00:07:34 to do with overthrowing the traditions
00:07:36 that the Jews were living under. Uh
00:07:38 notice it’s not Yahweh’s kingdom. It is
00:07:41 the kingdom of the Jews.
00:07:45 >> Correct? Um so uh this is talking about
00:07:51 this ending of this carnal commandments
00:07:56 >> at
00:07:59 this doesn’t actually state it right
00:08:00 here and we can look at some more to get
00:08:01 that but it ended at Yeshua’s death on
00:08:04 the cross. Okay. But this is showing it
00:08:07 went from Aaron through John the Baptist
00:08:12 here and a little bit longer because
00:08:16 there wasn’t a lot of time from uh John
00:08:18 the Baptist death to uh the Messiah’s
00:08:21 death.
00:08:22 >> Yeah, John the Baptist died in like was
00:08:24 it the second year of Yeshua’s ministry?
00:08:28 >> I honestly don’t remember right now. Um
00:08:30 that would be a good thing to know. I
00:08:32 just I I
00:08:33 >> I don’t happen to know right now. Um,
00:08:36 so,
00:08:37 >> uh, yes. So, but this verse right here,
00:08:42 uh, says a lot of the same things as
00:08:46 JST, Exodus 34:1-2
00:08:49 that, um, people love to,
00:08:53 um, get wrong. Um,
00:08:57 so, um, I I doing this I realize I
00:09:00 should add some more glyphs at the
00:09:02 bottom, but hopefully reading that and
00:09:03 then reading this, it’ll make this a
00:09:06 little more clear. Okay. Uh, John, are
00:09:09 you willing to read through that and
00:09:11 expound and and also Ben and I can
00:09:15 expound too at times.
00:09:16 >> Absolutely.
00:09:18 And Yahweh said unto Moshe, “Hue the
00:09:21 other two tables, the tables of stone.”
00:09:25 No, I’m sorry. My eyes are not working
00:09:27 right. But uh two tables of stone like
00:09:29 under the first.
00:09:30 >> Oh, wait, wait, wait. Um
00:09:33 is it different or the same?
00:09:36 >> The same.
00:09:38 >> The same.
00:09:39 >> Oh, so I’m just going to say the law of
00:09:42 Moses is Torah plus
00:09:44 >> Yeah, it says like two. It doesn’t say
00:09:46 the same. Oh. Oh, my bad. My bad.
00:09:49 >> So, they’re not exactly the same.
00:09:51 >> Like,
00:09:53 we made the same mistake that Phil Davis
00:09:55 makes all the time with Lyken. Oh, good
00:09:57 lord. Sorry. Uh, my bad.
00:10:02 >> And I And I will write.
00:10:05 >> Well, at least you can say you got
00:10:06 something from Phil, right?
00:10:08 >> Hey, there you go. I learned what not to
00:10:11 define like and Daz. All right. And I
00:10:14 Yahwa will write upon them also the
00:10:17 word.
00:10:18 >> Oh, wait a minute. Whose uh finger was
00:10:20 writing on those tablets?
00:10:22 >> Oh, it was the finger of Yahwa.
00:10:24 >> Oh, okay.
00:10:26 >> The words of the law.
00:10:29 According as they were written at the
00:10:32 first on the table,
00:10:33 >> the ones that you destroyed in your
00:10:35 anger because the Israelites were
00:10:37 sitting grievously.
00:10:40 >> Oh yeah. Basically, he was using it as a
00:10:44 as a demonstration as to what the
00:10:46 children of Israel were doing to him.
00:10:49 >> Yeah.
00:10:51 >> A live illustration. According as they
00:10:53 were written at the first on the tables
00:10:55 which thou breakest, but it shall not be
00:10:58 according to the first. So, this is a
00:11:02 little weird. It says according and not.
00:11:04 Okay. So, this is a weird way of saying
00:11:07 uh
00:11:09 the a lot of it is the same, but there’s
00:11:12 going to be a little differences. And
00:11:14 he’s going to talk about the difference
00:11:16 right now. Yes. For I will take away the
00:11:20 holy priesthood or Mechisedc priesthood
00:11:23 out of their midst.
00:11:24 >> Oh, wait. Didn’t we just read something
00:11:26 like that?
00:11:27 >> Yeah. DNC 84.
00:11:30 >> Yeah.
00:11:32 Therefore,
00:11:33 my or Yahwa holy order and the
00:11:37 ordinances thereof,
00:11:42 baptism of fire and holy spirit shall do
00:11:46 the church them.
00:11:47 >> Yes. Yes. For my Yahweh presence shall
00:11:52 not go up in their midst, lest I destroy
00:11:55 them because I want to bring out why is
00:11:57 because they’re sinners.
00:11:58 >> Yes. Yes. They had broken what was
00:12:01 received at first,
00:12:03 >> right? And you can’t go in Yahweh’s
00:12:06 presence in your sin, lest you be
00:12:10 destroyed
00:12:11 >> after swearing under the blood of the
00:12:13 covenant that they would keep them.
00:12:16 >> Yeah. I I mean, it’d be kind of hard to
00:12:18 be splattered in the cow’s blood and
00:12:21 forget what you did.
00:12:23 >> Yeah.
00:12:23 >> Yeah. Yeah.
00:12:24 >> I mean, that’s pretty dramatic.
00:12:26 >> Yeah, it is.
00:12:29 But I will give unto them the law of
00:12:31 Torah as the first, but it shall be
00:12:34 after or behind the line the law of a
00:12:38 carnal or daily performances and
00:12:40 ordinances commandment. Okay. So this
00:12:44 goes along with uh in the scripture
00:12:46 sometimes there’s the first or the
00:12:49 second or the old and the new. Mhm. The
00:12:54 after is the new, the before is the old,
00:12:58 which is the law of Moses. So, this this
00:13:01 these funny statements right here kind
00:13:03 of explain some of the other funny
00:13:07 statements throughout the scriptures
00:13:09 about this
00:13:11 not
00:13:12 talked or taught about issue really.
00:13:15 Now, Joseph Smith did talk about it
00:13:16 some, and I don’t know if
00:13:19 >> which which is why you can uh be
00:13:23 scripturally correct in calling it
00:13:25 either new or renewed covenant.
00:13:28 >> Yes. Correct. Oh, well, that that you
00:13:30 can do just be because of this and also
00:13:33 because of the word new. But
00:13:35 >> yeah,
00:13:35 >> because the scriptures use the word new.
00:13:37 Why not?
00:13:38 >> Well, it’s it’s like a new moon. It’s
00:13:42 not really
00:13:43 >> Yeah, exactly. New. One of the meanings
00:13:46 of new is to be made as new.
00:13:50 >> Yeah.
00:13:50 >> Um
00:13:53 >> Yeah. Or restored.
00:13:55 >> Yeah.
00:13:55 >> Yes.
00:13:56 >> Oh, wait. Are we believe this is a what?
00:14:01 >> Oh, yeah. Restoration.
00:14:02 [Music]
00:14:04 >> Yeah. That Yeah.
00:14:07 Well, and Moshe, oh, by the way, when
00:14:08 Moshe received the commandments as a
00:14:10 first, that was a restoration of Torah.
00:14:14 >> Yeah, it was
00:14:16 >> because the people had kind of lost
00:14:18 track of it in all those years in Egypt.
00:14:21 >> Mhm. Yeah. Because they were doing
00:14:23 things of Torah before it was given at
00:14:26 Mount Si. And you can, for example, the
00:14:30 request to go out for three days to do
00:14:33 sacrifice. You have to be out of a city
00:14:36 three days if you don’t if you’re not
00:14:39 doing it at the temple. There was no
00:14:41 temple or tabernacle. So they had to go
00:14:43 out three days to do sacrifice or to
00:14:46 worship Yahw.
00:14:47 >> Yeah.
00:14:48 >> Which and that anyways that that’s in
00:14:51 Torah. So there it is before it was
00:14:53 given among other examples. But anyways,
00:14:57 >> but it shall be after in time behind in
00:15:00 line or in time
00:15:04 the law of a coral daily performance is
00:15:07 an ordinance commandment. For Io have
00:15:10 sworn in my wrath that they shall not
00:15:14 enter into my presence, into my rest in
00:15:19 the days of their pilgrimage. Therefore,
00:15:21 do as I have commanded thee. Now, this
00:15:25 is a type
00:15:27 for 666. I’m just saying that because
00:15:30 everybody’s so much on that because uh
00:15:34 they’re denying it. It’s denial of being
00:15:37 in Yeshua’s kingdom in his presence.
00:15:39 >> Yeah.
00:15:40 >> Right. Um now, this one’s not a literal
00:15:44 one. This one’s teaching um something
00:15:46 here, right? So, don’t take it too far,
00:15:48 but
00:15:50 >> it’s kind of the same idea.
00:15:52 >> Yeah. Yeah.
00:15:54 And so he is sworn in his wrath that
00:15:57 they will not enter into his rest.
00:15:59 >> Yeah.
00:16:00 >> Yeah. So read this last little part.
00:16:02 >> Yep. And be ready in the morning and
00:16:05 come up in the morning unto Mount Si and
00:16:08 present thyself there to me in the top
00:16:11 of the mount.
00:16:14 >> Okay. So let’s do I hope I’m not taking
00:16:18 too much time.
00:16:19 >> No, you’re doing great. you’re doing
00:16:21 >> uh okay uh I can read this one. So as
00:16:25 you noticed I had a glyph pointing to
00:16:27 here. Okay. So this is the new
00:16:30 translation
00:16:31 or also known as the JST or inspired
00:16:35 version of John 1 uh 16-18. For in the
00:16:40 beginning was Torah, even or the word
00:16:44 even the sun or and or specifically
00:16:49 maybe even spec more better here is the
00:16:53 best example of
00:16:56 >> who is made flesh
00:16:59 who came and took flesh and sent unto us
00:17:02 by the will of the father. Will is
00:17:04 another uh word for Torah. Um especially
00:17:08 in lecture on faith five uses will there
00:17:11 more. But it was because of the plan
00:17:15 that was conceived that the father had
00:17:18 to send come down as the son as in
00:17:20 Mosiah 15 that we looked at earlier. And
00:17:23 as many as believe on his character
00:17:27 way of being because to be saved
00:17:30 >> as brought up in lectures on faith
00:17:32 seven, you have to be like the one that
00:17:34 is saved.
00:17:35 >> Yes.
00:17:37 >> Um shall receive of his fullness.
00:17:42 Oh,
00:17:44 so that that’s going along with
00:17:45 sanctification because that uh receives
00:17:48 glory there. Okay.
00:17:50 And of his fullness have all we
00:17:53 received, even immortality
00:17:56 and eternal life. Talking about
00:17:58 sanctification, glorification of the
00:18:02 celestial glory through his grace.
00:18:06 So it’s not because of what we did, huh?
00:18:09 >> No.
00:18:09 >> No.
00:18:10 >> I mean, even if you’re obedient to the
00:18:12 law, he gave it to you,
00:18:15 >> right? It’s still because there’s
00:18:16 nothing I could have done to get it
00:18:17 myself because I I I don’t know about
00:18:19 you guys, but I have sinned. At least
00:18:22 the small sin. That’s all I’ve done.
00:18:24 I’ve done one small sin. Okay. No, I’m
00:18:26 just kidding. But even if that all was
00:18:29 was one one tiny little sin,
00:18:31 >> I I I’m disqualified to do it myself.
00:18:33 >> Yeah.
00:18:34 >> Yeah. Uh
00:18:37 real real quick. um uh thought that just
00:18:41 uh came to me as you were talking about
00:18:43 that um you know once again going back
00:18:46 to that idea of he did not have to give
00:18:51 show us that grace of giving us his law
00:18:53 in the first place.
00:18:56 >> It was grace
00:19:00 that we even have his law.
00:19:02 >> Yes. It’s a gift.
00:19:03 >> They know how to become like him.
00:19:07 >> Yeah. or even just know of his godliness
00:19:09 as we went over also in
00:19:11 >> I I’ll just I’ll just point out that the
00:19:14 Hebrew word for grace is synonymous with
00:19:18 Torah.
00:19:20 >> Correct. Uh and you can get that from
00:19:22 the Hebrew Gospels, right?
00:19:24 >> Correct.
00:19:25 >> Yep.
00:19:26 >> All right. So,
00:19:29 >> uh I I think you’re right here. Or was
00:19:31 it me?
00:19:31 >> I guess you you were reading
00:19:32 >> me. I can’t even remember what I’m
00:19:34 doing.
00:19:37 for the law and I’m going to say of
00:19:39 Moses was given through Moses. Okay. All
00:19:42 right. Through Moses. That makes sense
00:19:44 because that’s uh and I’m going to tell
00:19:47 you it says specifically the second time
00:19:50 because the first time they don’t have
00:19:52 it, right? It got destroyed,
00:19:54 >> right?
00:19:54 >> Second time they had a copy of it in the
00:19:57 Ark of the Covenant.
00:19:58 >> Yes.
00:19:59 >> Uh which goes back to Exodus 34 1-2 that
00:20:03 we just went over, right?
00:20:04 >> Mhm. Correct.
00:20:05 >> But life and truth came through Yeshua
00:20:09 the Messiah.
00:20:11 So life period comes through the
00:20:14 Messiah.
00:20:15 >> Correct.
00:20:16 >> Mhm.
00:20:17 >> Okay. Uh even if
00:20:22 even if you kept the law, you don’t have
00:20:26 the power for resurrection. So you would
00:20:28 still die.
00:20:29 >> Yeah. And truth is Torah.
00:20:32 >> Yeah. Yes.
00:20:34 >> Uh and though I would say more
00:20:37 specifically eternal life here.
00:20:40 >> Yeah.
00:20:40 >> Yeah.
00:20:41 >> Okay. But anyways, for the law going
00:20:45 back to the one that was through Moses,
00:20:47 okay, was after a carnal commandment
00:20:51 uh Exodus 34:2
00:20:53 to the administration of death. Okay.
00:20:56 So, this is starting to describe
00:20:58 what the carnal commandment is.
00:21:02 Mhm.
00:21:02 >> Administration of death. Okay.
00:21:05 >> Yeah.
00:21:05 >> So, that would be killing, right?
00:21:08 >> Yeah. Yeah. So, um
00:21:10 >> it can’t be murder because murder is
00:21:12 against the law, Torah. Okay. So, it’s
00:21:14 got to be some type of killing. I’ll
00:21:17 I’ll tell you. I’m surprised they don’t
00:21:20 have animal here.
00:21:24 Oh, okay. There it is. Because I know I
00:21:25 updated or like I said, I didn’t have
00:21:27 F5. Sorry, guys. So, I was doing some
00:21:30 prep today to the administration of
00:21:32 death of animals. Okay, to be specific,
00:21:34 which also goes with Elma 34, which we
00:21:37 won’t go over because I’m just trying to
00:21:38 lay a foundation here. Okay. Um, but the
00:21:41 gospel was after the power of endless
00:21:44 aka eternal life
00:21:48 >> through Go ahead.
00:21:50 >> through Yeshua.
00:21:53 >> Yeah. So, the gospel means the good
00:21:55 news. Yeah.
00:21:56 >> The good news is Yeshua paid our debt.
00:22:00 >> Yep. No amount of animals blood was ever
00:22:04 to atone for our sins.
00:22:06 >> Correct. And that goes
00:22:08 >> to the ultimate sacrifice.
00:22:10 >> Correct. And that’s in Hebrews. That’s
00:22:12 actually in this page, but it’ll be too
00:22:14 long if I go over everything. So, I’m
00:22:16 trying to hit
00:22:16 >> correct
00:22:17 >> highlights here. And there’s a reason
00:22:20 for this. Okay. Admin. But here,
00:22:21 administration of death. We need to
00:22:24 remember that. Okay.
00:22:26 through Yeshua, the Messiah, the only
00:22:29 begotten son who is in the bosom of the
00:22:32 father. Okay?
00:22:33 >> Yeah.
00:22:33 >> Um we we don’t we’re not going to get
00:22:35 into the rest of that stuff. So now
00:22:37 let’s go talk about some other things
00:22:39 that talk about timings of the ending.
00:22:42 Okay.
00:22:43 >> Yes.
00:22:46 to help. No, but when it ended as uh DNC
00:22:51 84 said
00:22:53 >> and I’m going to argue uh 359.
00:22:58 Okay.
00:22:58 >> Yeah.
00:23:00 >> Ben, will you read this one?
00:23:01 >> Uh Col Colossians 2:14
00:23:04 >> blotting out the handwriting legal note
00:23:07 of daily.
00:23:07 >> Now, uh Ben, uh I want you to talk about
00:23:11 what happens when you go to court and
00:23:13 get a punishment. Yeah. So, here’s um
00:23:16 here’s what happens. When you go to when
00:23:19 you have been convicted of a crime in
00:23:21 court, the judge hands down your
00:23:23 sentence and that sentence for you is
00:23:28 law.
00:23:29 >> Oh, yeah. Wait a minute. What did we
00:23:32 learn? The ordinance means
00:23:35 >> law.
00:23:35 >> Law.
00:23:36 >> Okay. So, that goes right with what Ben
00:23:38 is saying. I just want to read that.
00:23:40 Sorry to interrupt you, but I’m rude
00:23:41 sometimes. of of so blotting out the
00:23:46 handwriting of performance of uh
00:23:49 ordinances which was against us or of
00:23:52 daily performances and ordinances and
00:23:54 that would be the daily lambs law of
00:23:59 Moses that was against us. Why was it
00:24:02 against us? Because they were caught in
00:24:04 transgression after having sworn under
00:24:07 the blood of the covenant that they
00:24:09 would not transgress.
00:24:14 not 40 days later.
00:24:17 >> Yeah.
00:24:19 >> Which was contrary
00:24:22 or
00:24:23 >> it’s against us which was contrary to us
00:24:27 as a punishment.
00:24:29 >> Yeah. So against us would go along with
00:24:31 a punishment, right? Because I know
00:24:32 that’s a glyph, but I’m trying
00:24:36 to make it easier for those who are
00:24:38 beginning to understand this with these
00:24:40 glyphs, right? because this is a
00:24:43 big issue. And the reason I’m I’m trying
00:24:45 to lay a foundation to then go back to
00:24:47 third Nephi 9
00:24:49 and took it out of the way
00:24:53 or removed it, nailing it to his cross.
00:24:58 Now, there’s a lot of people, a lot of
00:25:01 Torah teachers are going to take and
00:25:03 point at this and say, “Well, this is
00:25:05 talking about um
00:25:08 this this is talking about the
00:25:10 requirements of the oral law or
00:25:12 something like that.” But that cannot be
00:25:14 it because this
00:25:15 >> that’s a false tradition. We were never
00:25:17 required to follow the tradition.
00:25:19 >> Yeah. Yah commanded those.
00:25:21 >> Yeah. No. Uh hard. Really? Nobody knows
00:25:25 what to do with this.
00:25:27 blotting out the handwriting. Okay. So
00:25:30 when so this and you can know that the
00:25:34 law of Moses was ordained at Sinai from
00:25:37 uh numbers chapter 28
00:25:40 um I believe it’s verse
00:25:44 somewhere between 3 and six that talks
00:25:47 about ordained at Sinai
00:25:50 or another that word for ordained can
00:25:54 also mean initiated or begun.
00:25:58 >> Yeah. Yes. And well, we’ll go over
00:26:02 Numbers 28 on that in a minute. Um, so
00:26:05 >> yeah. So, but this is the handwriting of
00:26:08 ordinances that was placed that was
00:26:10 there against them and it was contrary
00:26:13 to them because they were already
00:26:17 breakers of the covenant from the
00:26:19 beginning.
00:26:22 >> Yes. Um, so now John, I’ll have you read
00:26:29 If I can.
00:26:32 There we go. That’s what I want. Can um
00:26:35 This one’s a little longer.
00:26:38 >> You can comment as you go if you like.
00:26:41 Um we we’ll just do that. That’s the
00:26:43 pattern we do.
00:26:44 >> Yeah, that’s the pattern.
00:26:45 >> Yeah. Okay.
00:26:47 >> And the law of Moses is not a faith. And
00:26:49 boy, is that true.
00:26:51 >> Right now. Okay. So
00:26:54 considering what that faith means trust
00:26:57 and diligence,
00:26:58 >> you’re right.
00:26:58 >> Diligence is of the law,
00:27:01 you really have to know some history and
00:27:03 what the law of Moses is to make sense
00:27:05 of this. Okay.
00:27:06 >> Correct.
00:27:07 >> So punishments are given when you are
00:27:12 >> faithless,
00:27:13 >> not diligent, aka breaking the law.
00:27:17 >> Correct. Yeah.
00:27:18 >> Punishment under Yahoo’s system is given
00:27:20 for faithlessness.
00:27:22 Correct. Uh which is breaking the law
00:27:25 and not believing.
00:27:27 >> Why it is not of faith because the
00:27:30 punishment
00:27:31 is affixed to whatever sin you commit.
00:27:35 >> Now we’ll we’ll get into it in a minute,
00:27:37 but
00:27:40 they got the law of Moses because they
00:27:43 did not believe
00:27:46 and they were not diligent. Yeah,
00:27:49 >> we’ll get that
00:27:50 >> because faith faith goes back to the
00:27:53 faith goes back to the um to the word
00:27:56 shama.
00:27:57 >> Correct.
00:27:58 >> Which uh which means both to hear and to
00:28:02 do.
00:28:03 >> Yeah. To hear is to uh trust and to do
00:28:07 is to be diligent.
00:28:08 >> And you know what’s interesting? What
00:28:10 did the children of Israel say when they
00:28:12 made that covenant? We will hear and do.
00:28:16 We do hear and will do all that Yahwa.
00:28:20 >> Well, you mean so they said they they
00:28:22 would have faith.
00:28:23 >> Yes.
00:28:26 >> But they didn’t. Did they?
00:28:27 >> No. Not even more than
00:28:29 >> That’s why this I I I know I’m being
00:28:32 along, but this is I’m I’m setting a
00:28:34 foundation here.
00:28:35 >> This is important.
00:28:36 >> This is why it’s not of faith because
00:28:38 it’s the law of Moses. It was given as a
00:28:40 punishment because they got the
00:28:42 punishment because they were not having
00:28:44 faith.
00:28:45 >> Correct.
00:28:47 Okay.
00:28:47 >> But the man that doeth them shall live
00:28:51 in them.
00:28:53 >> Now
00:28:54 we this part you have to keep keep in
00:28:57 mind that law of Moses is Torah plus
00:29:01 punishments.
00:29:02 >> Correct?
00:29:03 >> So they got the the punishments because
00:29:08 of faithlessness.
00:29:10 But if you live the Torah and the
00:29:13 punishments because punishments as Ben
00:29:15 just talked about are now part of your
00:29:18 law.
00:29:18 >> Yep. Yep.
00:29:20 >> You
00:29:21 >> That’s actually what And that’s actually
00:29:23 what um that’s actually one of the
00:29:25 things that Nephi is referring to when
00:29:26 he talks about the deadness of the law.
00:29:28 He’s not talking about Torah. He’s
00:29:30 talking about the law of Moses.
00:29:32 >> Yes. And I have that verse uh on this
00:29:35 page. I I was not planning to go over
00:29:37 that one, but that’s good. I’m just
00:29:40 bringing it up as a side note.
00:29:41 >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And that’s important.
00:29:43 I I I’m trying to be picky.
00:29:47 >> Yeah.
00:29:48 >> So, Mashiach hath redeemed us from the
00:29:51 curse of the law. So, a punishment that
00:29:53 is affixed to a law is a curse. Okay.
00:29:57 So, here,
00:29:58 >> right? So, he’s not saving us from the
00:30:00 law. He’s saving the curse of the law.
00:30:03 >> Yeah. And so the the other thing about
00:30:05 this this this ties back to I leave I I
00:30:10 bring before you this day life and
00:30:14 blessing death and cursing.
00:30:18 Life and blessing if you keep the law,
00:30:20 death and cursing if you break it. Uh
00:30:22 this paraphrase
00:30:25 uh Deuteronomy chapter 30.
00:30:27 >> Correct. And it’s because of his
00:30:29 atonement that he can save us from the
00:30:31 curse or punishment. Right.
00:30:32 >> Correct.
00:30:34 being made a curse for us because well
00:30:38 we were not when he says us he’s talking
00:30:41 about the house of Israel at the base of
00:30:45 Mount Si because this is actually a
00:30:47 reference to the scapegoat offering. Oh
00:30:50 that’s true.
00:30:51 >> Uh it
00:30:52 >> I I actually believe this is talking
00:30:54 about the law of Moses because it’s
00:30:56 saying that the law was made a curse
00:30:58 >> yeah back to verse 12. The reason I’m
00:31:02 but the reason I’m saying that there’s
00:31:04 some well okay maybe it’s I’m not
00:31:07 necessarily trying to say that that is
00:31:10 specifically is referring to that but
00:31:12 that it there is
00:31:14 >> there’s some shadows
00:31:16 >> the sha in the scapegoat is the shadow
00:31:18 of the curse.
00:31:21 >> Yes I do hear
00:31:22 >> becoming the curse for us.
00:31:25 >> Yeah
00:31:25 >> that’s what I’m trying that’s what I’m
00:31:27 trying to say.
00:31:27 >> Okay. Gotcha. Gotcha.
00:31:30 For it is there’s some of both in there.
00:31:32 So, we can just leave it at that.
00:31:33 >> Yeah. For uh Yeah. For it is written,
00:31:37 “Cursed is everyone that hangeth on a
00:31:40 tree.”
00:31:42 >> Yeah. Um it so just so people are aware
00:31:46 Torah there are punishments or curse
00:31:50 that the way um
00:31:54 you are to punish them
00:31:58 is to hang them in the tree.
00:32:00 >> Y that’s ultimate death by the way.
00:32:03 >> Yeah. And I think Judas knew the law so
00:32:06 he did that. Uh the Book of Mormon
00:32:08 people also knew the law and they did
00:32:10 that uh in Third Nephi if I remember
00:32:13 correctly. Um
00:32:14 >> one of the earlier chapters, sorry, I
00:32:16 can’t remember exactly where.
00:32:18 >> Yes.
00:32:19 >> That the blessing of Abraham might come
00:32:22 on the Gentiles through Yeshua
00:32:24 Hamashiach
00:32:26 7, especially the atonement. Uh I I so
00:32:30 we’re starting to get at the starting of
00:32:32 the ti a timing that points to cyani but
00:32:36 also I because at time I won’t look at
00:32:40 Daniel 9 but Daniel 9 also brings up law
00:32:43 of Moses in it. Okay, I’ll just leave it
00:32:45 at that.
00:32:46 >> That they and that makes sense though
00:32:49 that he would talk about that that they
00:32:51 might receive the promise of the spirit
00:32:55 through
00:32:57 diligence
00:32:58 and belief.
00:33:00 >> Yeah, if we had more time, we’d go look
00:33:02 at there, but I’m already talking too
00:33:04 much, so we’ll leave it there. Brethren,
00:33:06 I speak after the manner of men. Though
00:33:09 it be but a man’s co, though it be but a
00:33:13 man’s covenant, yet when it is confirmed
00:33:16 Yeshua’s death, no man disolleth or set
00:33:21 aside or addeth thereto.
00:33:24 Now to Abraham and his seed were the
00:33:27 promises made. He saith not, and to
00:33:30 seeds as of many, but as of one, and to
00:33:34 thy seed, which is Messiach.
00:33:37 And this I say, that the covenant that
00:33:39 was confirmed before Elohim in Messiah,
00:33:43 the law of Moses,
00:33:46 which was 430 years after because of
00:33:51 disobedience.
00:33:52 >> Yeah. Yeah. So, this has a translation
00:33:54 issue here. Okay. So this is pointing to
00:33:58 uh from Abraham from that dream.
00:34:02 >> Mhm.
00:34:03 >> To when law Moses was given is 430
00:34:08 years.
00:34:09 >> Yes. Yeah.
00:34:11 >> Cannot disanol or revoke. Yeah. That it
00:34:15 should make the promise of none effect.
00:34:20 For if the inheritance or possession is
00:34:22 of the law of Moses, then it then it the
00:34:26 law of Moses is no more of promise. But
00:34:32 Elohim gave it to Abraham by promise.
00:34:35 Wherefore then the law, that which is
00:34:39 assigned of Moses, was added because of
00:34:43 transgression.
00:34:44 >> Something was added. We’re about to go
00:34:45 look at that. Something was added at 430
00:34:48 years. Yeah.
00:34:50 >> Oh, I know. And what’s it say? Because
00:34:52 of
00:34:52 >> transgressions,
00:34:55 >> sins
00:34:58 till the seed.
00:34:59 >> It means there was something there
00:35:01 before.
00:35:02 >> Correct.
00:35:03 >> If it was the first, it would have been
00:35:06 gave. But here it says added, which goes
00:35:09 along with what we read in uh JST
00:35:11 Genesis 34.
00:35:14 Now, uh, this added here is not JST,
00:35:18 just so we’re clear on that. Okay.
00:35:20 >> Yes.
00:35:21 >> Because the JSTs are bolds.
00:35:23 >> Yes. Was added because of transgressions
00:35:27 till the seed Yeshua should come.
00:35:31 >> Oh, wait. That’s pointing to his death.
00:35:34 >> Yes.
00:35:36 >> To whom the promise was made in the law
00:35:38 given to Moses.
00:35:40 >> Okay. So, this is not Torah. This is a
00:35:43 specific law it’s talking about because
00:35:45 Abraham had Torah. Okay, I forget the
00:35:48 verse, but there’s one. It states that
00:35:51 Abraham kept the statutes, commandments,
00:35:54 and judgments, which is three key words
00:35:56 that point to Torah.
00:35:58 >> Genesis 25:6.
00:36:00 >> Thank you, Ben.
00:36:01 >> Correct.
00:36:03 uh to whom the promise was made in the
00:36:06 law given to Moses who Moses was
00:36:08 ordained by the hand of angels to be a
00:36:12 mediator of the first covenant,
00:36:15 the law of Moses. Now, okay, so he was a
00:36:18 mediator. This goes back to how uh he
00:36:22 made intercession. Genesis, most people
00:36:24 say atonement, where I translated
00:36:28 something more of uh I forget now, but
00:36:30 it was more of a it was more along the
00:36:33 lines of mediator, but it was a word
00:36:34 that was like that that was in the list
00:36:37 of the Hebrew word. I forget what it
00:36:39 was.
00:36:40 >> Well, isn’t it intercession?
00:36:43 >> Uh
00:36:45 I don’t remember. I’d have to go look
00:36:47 and I don’t want to spend the time
00:36:48 right.
00:36:48 >> No, you’re fine. But but basically he
00:36:52 stood he
00:36:53 >> he took responsibility for his house.
00:36:55 >> He took responsibility for his house. He
00:36:57 followed Torah.
00:36:59 >> Oh wait, he knew Torah before he
00:37:01 received this p. Wait, what?
00:37:03 >> And what and what does it say in
00:37:05 Deuteronomy regarding Moses? He was the
00:37:08 meakest of men.
00:37:10 >> Yeah.
00:37:11 >> Yeah.
00:37:13 So I’m going to read this one. So this
00:37:16 is talking about what the law of Moses
00:37:19 is. Okay.
00:37:20 >> Mhm.
00:37:21 >> And and when it was given.
00:37:24 >> Yeah.
00:37:24 >> Okay.
00:37:25 >> Correct.
00:37:25 >> So and Yahweh spake unto Moses saying,
00:37:28 “Command the children of Israel to say
00:37:31 unto them, my offering and my bread for
00:37:35 my sacrifices
00:37:36 made by fire or wait a minute. So if
00:37:40 something’s done with put on the fire,
00:37:43 it gets burnt. Right.
00:37:45 >> Right.
00:37:46 >> Okay. Let’s keep that in mind. For a
00:37:49 sweet savor unto me, and shall ye
00:37:52 observe to offer
00:37:54 h offer sacrifice unto me in their due
00:38:00 season. Yes.
00:38:02 >> So in their season. Okay.
00:38:05 Um
00:38:06 >> at their appointment
00:38:08 >> don’t last. Okay.
00:38:10 >> Yeah.
00:38:11 >> And thou shalt say unto them, this is
00:38:14 the offer made by fire burnt, which you
00:38:16 shall offer sacrifice unto Yahweh. Two
00:38:20 lambs of the first year without spot day
00:38:24 by day. Now, this gets into Mosiah 13
00:38:28 and some other ones we won’t get into,
00:38:29 okay? But that is specific. is one of
00:38:32 the key words that helps you know what’s
00:38:34 being talked about.
00:38:35 >> For a continual offering during their
00:38:38 due season. Okay.
00:38:41 >> Yes.
00:38:42 >> A period
00:38:42 >> that it’s not to last forever.
00:38:45 >> Correct. Um so I should have a glyph
00:38:48 here. Anyways, sometimes I forget, but
00:38:51 due season, a period of time. So even
00:38:54 right here in Numbers 28, it says this
00:38:56 one has an ex expiration date here.
00:38:59 Okay.
00:39:00 >> Yeah.
00:39:02 the one land thou shalt offer in the
00:39:04 morning. Uh now this also just the
00:39:07 morning evening points to Yeshua’s last
00:39:09 hours. I’ll leave it at that because I’m
00:39:11 already talking too much. And the other
00:39:13 lamb that shall offer at evening. So
00:39:15 this is between the mornings and between
00:39:17 the evenings. And the 10th part of an ea
00:39:19 of flower for a meal offering or bread
00:39:22 offering mingled with fourth part of hen
00:39:25 of oil. It is a continual offering
00:39:28 during its due season. Okay.
00:39:31 >> Yes.
00:39:32 >> Uh which was ordained. Now what is
00:39:35 ordained mean again as you were bringing
00:39:37 up a bit?
00:39:37 >> Yeah. The Hebrew word that’s translated
00:39:40 as ordained is uh it also means um
00:39:46 initiated or begun.
00:39:48 >> Right. And this sometimes we have our
00:39:50 own preferences. I put established or
00:39:52 started which uh goes along with
00:39:54 initiated. Right. Mhm.
00:39:57 >> And and where?
00:39:59 >> Mount Si.
00:40:00 >> Mount Si
00:40:02 >> for a sweet savor.
00:40:04 >> Okay. A sacrifice made by fire unto
00:40:07 Yahweh. And the drink offering thereof
00:40:09 shall be the fourth hen for a lamb. And
00:40:11 the holy place that shall cause the
00:40:13 strong wine or alcoholic wine to be
00:40:16 poured unto Yahweh for a drink offering.
00:40:18 And the other lamb thou shalt offer
00:40:19 evening as the bread offering of the
00:40:22 morning. as the drink offering thereof
00:40:24 thou shalt offer by a sacrifice made by
00:40:26 fire a sweet offering unto Yahweh. Okay,
00:40:29 so the main things due season in their
00:40:33 due season for a period of time
00:40:37 initiated ordained established started
00:40:39 in Mount Si. Okay. And so this was a
00:40:42 punishment.
00:40:45 Now
00:40:47 boy, I don’t remember all my tabs. So
00:40:50 I’m just going to make a new one. I have
00:40:52 too many.
00:40:56 I was trying to be some prepared. Let’s
00:40:58 go look at the word carnal.
00:41:00 >> Yeah.
00:41:02 >> Oh, I just want carnal.
00:41:05 Okay. Dealing with the flesh. Sensual.
00:41:10 Okay. All right. Uh opposed to
00:41:13 spiritual. Okay.
00:41:15 >> Let’s keep that in mind.
00:41:19 Uh
00:41:23 let me see what number it was.
00:41:26 So definition eight fleshly nature the
00:41:29 carnal power part of mind opposed to
00:41:32 spiritual nature or divine. Oh wait a
00:41:35 minute wait a minute
00:41:39 fleshly essential
00:41:42 >> spirit spiritual. So, and so what you
00:41:46 have here is these sacrifices
00:41:51 initiated
00:41:53 at the time of their transgression at
00:41:57 the foot of Sinai.
00:41:59 >> Yeah. So,
00:42:00 >> and they were initiated
00:42:05 to remind them
00:42:10 that they had acted opposed
00:42:15 two.
00:42:16 >> Yes. So, um, let’s go look at these two
00:42:20 D’s again real quick. And I’m going to
00:42:22 do a little bit more, but I’m I am
00:42:24 cutting it a little short because I talk
00:42:25 a lot apparently. So,
00:42:28 >> uh, John, will you read the first D?
00:42:31 >> Absolutely.
00:42:33 Not worried about DA, but DB. Gotcha.
00:42:36 >> Oh, no, that was an accident. Sorry
00:42:38 about that.
00:42:38 >> Okay, cool. Cool. Awesome. And the
00:42:41 scripture concerning my coming or types
00:42:43 of things to come are
00:42:44 >> so first coming. What happened during
00:42:46 the first coming?
00:42:47 >> Uh his crucifixion
00:42:50 and his complete living of Torah.
00:42:53 >> So the c and and the cross
00:42:57 >> and the cross
00:42:58 >> ended. Okay. All right. Let’s keep that
00:43:00 in mind. And as many as have received
00:43:03 me,
00:43:05 uh, to them have I given to become the
00:43:08 sons of Elohim, and even so will I. To
00:43:12 as many sha as shall believe on my name
00:43:16 or authority or character. For behold,
00:43:20 by me redemption cometh, and in me is
00:43:24 the law of Moses fulfilled or ended. Oh,
00:43:28 okay. So that sounds like these
00:43:30 punishments ended at the cross.
00:43:32 >> The due season had come.
00:43:35 >> Yes. Now Ben, you want to read the
00:43:37 second D? I may interrupt you a little
00:43:39 more. Or unless you want to say stuff
00:43:42 first, that’s fine. I don’t care.
00:43:43 >> And you shall offer up unto me no more
00:43:46 the shedding of blood. This is only
00:43:50 referring to what’s up there in that
00:43:53 first D, the law of Moses.
00:43:56 >> Yes. And it doesn’t say all sacrifices.
00:43:59 It’s specific sacrifices. And what did
00:44:02 we just learn that blood means?
00:44:06 >> Carnal.
00:44:07 >> Carnal. Yep. Yeah.
00:44:09 >> And we’ll get in a little bit why
00:44:10 they’re called the carnal commandments
00:44:12 next, but we’re going to finish this
00:44:13 right here. Okay.
00:44:14 >> Your sacrifices.
00:44:15 >> Oh, wait, wait, wait.
00:44:18 Uh offerings.
00:44:20 >> Yep.
00:44:20 >> As in going back to Numbers 28.
00:44:23 >> Yep. And your burnt offerings.
00:44:25 >> Oh, wait a minute.
00:44:27 fire from Numbers 28.
00:44:29 >> Yeah. T all these
00:44:32 >> and and things to come as in how they
00:44:34 that the morning evening points to
00:44:36 Yeshua’s atonement among other things. I
00:44:39 have more in here. I’m keeping that part
00:44:40 brief. I’ve already talked a lot and I’m
00:44:42 not done yet.
00:44:43 >> Shall be done away for I will accept
00:44:46 none of your sacrifices. Okay. And this
00:44:49 is this is not changing the type of
00:44:52 sacrifices of blood sacrifices which
00:44:55 points to law of Moses sacrifices which
00:44:57 is done by oh you guys can’t see my
00:44:59 hands by both these.
00:45:01 >> Okay.
00:45:02 >> Yeah.
00:45:02 >> These are highly tied.
00:45:06 >> He highly tied both
00:45:09 >> both those D’s are tied absolutely
00:45:12 together.
00:45:13 uh uh the the the sacrifices and
00:45:17 offerings talked about in 19 which is
00:45:21 the lower D
00:45:24 are those which are referred to in verse
00:45:28 17.
00:45:30 The types of things to come the reminder
00:45:35 of their opposition to God.
00:45:40 the handwriting of ordinances that was
00:45:42 against them
00:45:47 came to an end.
00:45:48 >> Correct. And in the Hebrew mind when you
00:45:51 say part of it,
00:45:54 when you know the law, it makes you
00:45:57 think of the whole.
00:45:58 >> Yes.
00:45:59 >> Especially when it’s written on your
00:46:01 heart.
00:46:02 >> Yeah.
00:46:02 >> It definitely will come up
00:46:04 >> because you know it that well. Okay. Oh,
00:46:07 wait a minute. We’re actually commanded
00:46:09 to have it on our hearts.
00:46:11 >> Okay.
00:46:11 >> Yeah. And and that’s that’s Yeah, that’s
00:46:14 one of those that’s one of those things
00:46:16 that um as you walk in his ways, they
00:46:20 will be written on your heart.
00:46:22 >> Okay. I love I love how these two D
00:46:24 sections are tied together with that E
00:46:26 section where he is talking about
00:46:31 >> I am the light and the life of the
00:46:33 world.
00:46:35 >> Yes.
00:46:36 >> I am alpha and omega. the beginning and
00:46:38 the end.
00:46:40 The beginning of the law of Moses, the
00:46:43 healer of your broken covenant.
00:46:46 >> Yeah.
00:46:47 >> Yeah. Okay. So, I’m going to be real
00:46:50 brief about why it’s called carnal.
00:46:53 Okay. Yeah.
00:46:54 >> So, in Exodus 32, I’m just going to
00:46:57 summarize it. You can go look it later.
00:46:59 >> Um, starting with five, it talks about
00:47:02 how the Israelites were going to start
00:47:04 having their
00:47:08 modified and wicked um celebration,
00:47:13 okay, to a bowl that represents Satan,
00:47:17 okay? And Yahweh was not happy with
00:47:20 that. And throughout the scriptures 5,
00:47:22 6, 7, 14, 15, and 29 brings out how
00:47:26 there was wickedness. Okay, I’m going to
00:47:29 focus on a particular part here. So um
00:47:33 they were worshiping a false god and
00:47:36 they just came from a place that
00:47:37 worshiped false gods.
00:47:39 >> Yeah.
00:47:42 >> Part of worshiping false gods is
00:47:48 ceremonial sex to Satan. Okay. Y
00:47:51 >> there’s just no if ends or buts about
00:47:53 that.
00:47:54 >> It’s not nice. You can even see it in
00:47:56 the whitewashed
00:47:58 versions that people celebrate today. if
00:48:01 you know what to look for. They have
00:48:03 whitewashed it a lot for the common
00:48:05 public, but the there’s people that’ll
00:48:08 still keep it the way Satan wants it to
00:48:10 be kept. Okay?
00:48:12 >> Um and part of that is ceremonial sex.
00:48:17 Okay? And
00:48:21 ceremonial sex is probably one of the
00:48:23 top things that is carnality.
00:48:26 Carnal.
00:48:28 >> Mhm. And they’re doing it to worship a
00:48:30 false god.
00:48:34 >> They have violated their covenant in
00:48:37 every way. Yeah. So, I’m going to read
00:48:39 this SJR.
00:48:41 Um, and when Moses saw the people were
00:48:45 naked doing their sex ceremony, sex
00:48:48 worship, for Aaron had made them naked
00:48:51 because Aaron was wellversed in the
00:48:53 occult. He knew what needed to happen.
00:48:56 Okay.
00:48:58 the sex ceremonies in disgrace
00:49:02 bad
00:49:04 against and I we I have the things here
00:49:08 you can go look at it later uh and it
00:49:10 has to do with the prefix that’s with
00:49:13 the word here it’s not enemies there is
00:49:16 no enemies there right but they the King
00:49:21 James and all other translations put
00:49:22 enemies or something like onto it okay
00:49:26 they weren’t even there and the word
00:49:27 doesn’t even justify that
00:49:29 >> right
00:49:30 >> this
00:49:32 and then there’s the suffix that goes
00:49:34 with there arising
00:49:38 the fact that they made that covenant
00:49:42 >> like 40 days ago
00:49:46 they they did start arising
00:49:49 but then they fell as an in disgrace or
00:49:52 shame as King James has it I just I like
00:49:55 this way more some of my personal
00:49:57 preference there. Okay.
00:49:59 >> Um but I do think in disgrace goes more
00:50:03 how it shows they left their grace.
00:50:06 Okay. That’s part of the reason I did
00:50:07 that. Um but it is one of the listed
00:50:10 words.
00:50:11 >> So this is one of this is one of the
00:50:13 great tragedies.
00:50:17 >> One of the great tragedies of Eulus
00:50:19 people.
00:50:22 He is so gracious. He’s so kind. And he
00:50:24 gives us laws. He gives us ordinances.
00:50:27 He teaches us how he gives us laws.
00:50:30 Laws, ordinances, teaches us how to
00:50:32 become like him.
00:50:37 And yet we,
00:50:41 mankind,
00:50:43 continuously,
00:50:46 it’s not enough.
00:50:50 We have to delve into occult mysteries.
00:50:54 We have to try to find something new and
00:50:57 exciting and
00:51:00 because you know that’s largely what the
00:51:02 sex uh the sexual worship ceremonies are
00:51:06 all about. It’s all about exciting.
00:51:11 We have to find something new. We have
00:51:12 to find something exciting. We have to
00:51:14 kneel on We have to stay on our knees
00:51:16 for four hours to figure out if we need
00:51:17 to do something that God commanded us to
00:51:19 do.
00:51:24 It’s simple.
00:51:26 Love Yahweh.
00:51:28 >> And when you do that
00:51:29 >> and others, including yourself, the way
00:51:31 that he wants us to.
00:51:32 >> And when you do that, you enter into the
00:51:35 same place as the children of Israel at
00:51:38 the foot of Sinai.
00:51:43 Repent.
00:51:46 Yeah.
00:51:48 So, I want to bring out two last things
00:51:51 and then I’ll um
00:51:53 I’m done. Leviticus 18 brings out how
00:51:58 nakedness does point to sex. So, it’s
00:52:01 not just that you only have to know
00:52:03 about the sex worship that goes on with
00:52:06 uh worshiping of Satan. You can get it
00:52:09 from the five books of Moses also.
00:52:11 Leviticus 18. In addition, I want to
00:52:14 look at one last word because it’s
00:52:16 called carnal commandments.
00:52:21 And Ben, read definition one and let’s
00:52:24 go talk about that legal proceeding
00:52:25 again.
00:52:26 >> A command, a mandate, an order or
00:52:29 injunction given by authority,
00:52:31 charge or precept.
00:52:35 So when Yah
00:52:39 when Mo when Moshe interceded for his
00:52:42 people,
00:52:45 Yah
00:52:47 issued
00:52:49 a mandate.
00:52:52 You will perform these sacrifices in
00:52:55 reminder of your dereliction of duty
00:53:02 every day.
00:53:06 in the morning, between the mornings and
00:53:08 between the evenings.
00:53:11 Between the mornings,
00:53:14 not quite sure how that and haven’t
00:53:15 quite figured out how that attaches to
00:53:17 Yeshua’s crucifixion yet, but between
00:53:19 the evenings.
00:53:20 >> The judgment.
00:53:21 >> The judge.
00:53:22 >> The judgment. Okay. Between the
00:53:24 mornings, Yeshua was judged. And between
00:53:26 the evenings,
00:53:28 >> he gave up the ghost.
00:53:31 >> He said, “It just finished.
00:53:34 And when he said it was finished,
00:53:38 he was talking about the handwriting of
00:53:39 ordinances
00:53:43 that they had occasioned against
00:53:45 themselves. And he was also talking
00:53:47 about his work. Of course,
00:53:50 he’d done what he was here to do.
00:53:53 But he was also talking about
00:53:58 what was initiated at Sinai. the
00:54:01 injunction that was given by Yahwa
00:54:08 that you are to do these sacrifices
00:54:10 daily because of your dereliction of
00:54:13 duty
00:54:14 >> to keep you in remembrance
00:54:16 >> to keep you in remembrance. Yes. Um so I
00:54:21 just want to review carnal fleshly
00:54:24 sensual
00:54:26 >> which is all about sex
00:54:27 >> of or of the blood
00:54:29 >> sex is very and blood definition 8
00:54:34 f carnal part of men opposed to
00:54:36 spiritual nature or divine it’s the
00:54:38 fleshly nature which goes along with the
00:54:41 SGR Exodus 32:25
00:54:44 >> yes
00:54:45 >> that’s how it’s got its name and
00:54:47 hopefully
00:54:49 Um,
00:54:52 oh yeah, here it is. Um, you can see how
00:54:54 law of Moses,
00:54:57 uh, and the how blood
00:55:02 points the carnal and how it’s
00:55:04 sacrifices, offerings
00:55:07 that are burnt with fire. So hopefully I
00:55:12 know that was a little long.
00:55:13 >> Oh, beautiful. I was I was anticipating
00:55:17 it would be
00:55:19 >> I hopefully this is a good foundation to
00:55:22 see why this is not all animal
00:55:26 sacrifices. In fact, Paul as an apostle
00:55:30 called by Yahweh and a believer that did
00:55:34 not keep false traditions after he
00:55:36 converted and called up other apostles
00:55:38 false traditions
00:55:40 because he was more studied. Okay. Um
00:55:43 >> yeah. did animal sacrifice.
00:55:46 >> Yeah. And that was after the death of
00:55:50 Yeshua. Oh, wait. That was a believer
00:55:52 after.
00:55:53 >> So, here’s
00:55:54 >> I got to bring it out explicitly, right?
00:55:57 >> So, the thing is is that the thing is is
00:55:59 the animal sacrifice stopped because the
00:56:03 temple was destroyed. Simple.
