One thing I was thinking about regarding Hanukkah the other day is why does it start on the 25th of the 9th moon of YHWH’s Lunar Solar Calendar.

First I looked up the symbolic meaning behind then number 25.

• Repentance
• Intercession
• Forgiveness

Symbolism

Which makes perfect sense considering that these are only possible because Yeshua / Jesus tabernacled among us and kept Torah completely even when it was hard. With Hanukkah being the time of when Yeshua / Jesus was conceived with Him being born during the first day of Tabernacles as both the Bible and Book of Mormon teaches.

For some reason I believed there was more to this. And remembered that the 8th day is the day of dedication during Hanukkah. Before the Lunar Cycle Change that happened around 700 BC, the lunar cycle was always 30 days. And keeping in mind that New Moon days are not week days, as I show from scriptures and history in Abide New Moon Day, the 8th day is the 1st day of the week.

The reason that I find it significant that the 8th day lands on the 1st day of the week, when the 9th moon has 30 days as it did during creation see New Year, is because the creation history and prophecy brings out it is the 1st day is when light comes. Add to that the 8th day is when we are to do the dedication. We are to dedicate ourselves to light on the 8th day of Hanukkah. And the two lights we are to dedicate ourselves to are Yeshua / Jesus and His ancient and eternal Torah.

John 8:12
A 12 Then spake Jesus [Yeshua] again unto them,
BA saying, I [Yeshua] am the light of the world:
BB he that followeth [does as I do] Me [Yeshua] shall not walk in darkness [sin],
BC but shall have the light [Torah] of life.

Psalm 119:105
A Thy [YHWH] word [Torah] is a LAMP [LIGHT] unto my FEET,
B and a LIGHT unto my PATH.

Proverbs 6:23
A For the COMMANDMENT is a LAMP;
B and the LAW [Torah] IS LIGHT;
C and REPROOFS of INSTRUCTION are the way of life:

Proverbs 4:18-19
A 18 But the PATH [TORAH] of the just is as the SHINING LIGHT,
B that SHINETH more and more unto the PERFECT [JUDGEMENT] DAY.
A 19 The way of the wicked is as darkness:
B they know not at what they stumble.

Isaiah 8:20
A To the LAW [Torah] and to the testimony:
-B if they speak not according to this word,
A it is because there is no LIGHT in them.

For those who believe in the restoration through the holy prophet Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon was published on 1830 Mar 26. And using YHWH’s Lunar Solar Calendar,1830 Mar 26 was the first 1st day of the week of thew Lunar Solar Year. And as the title page from the gold plates brings out it’s about bringing people to Yeshua / Jesus and the covenant which is Torah which is light, the Book of Mormon was published on a perfect day to represent that. As the 1st day of the creation history and prophecy is all about light.
