Mario Bros is a Gnostic tale, in that it makes good evil and evil good. Throughout the franchise it gives subtle hints on who the characters represent in real life. Along with themes dealing with the Second Coming of Yeshua / Jesus.
Brennon, from The Living Waters of Torah, and I worked on this page together. Working together we were able to figure things out together that we would have not been able to do on our own.
Below are what the different characters and items in the Mario Bros franchise represent. For symbolism in general see Symbolism.
- Mario: AntiChrist
- In the Mario Galaxy movie, Mario is always walking in a double helix pattern which goes with the twisting that Satan does.
- In the Mario Galaxy movie, when his plans are failing, Mario kicks rocks, which goes with an idiomatic phrase meaning to go away.
- In the Mario Galaxy Movie, Mario and his friends destroy flowers on the Honey planet. Flowers and Honey represent Torah in Symbolism and in destroying these, it goes with how the AntiChrist is the Man of Lawlessness because Lawlessness is described in hebrew scripture as destroying Torah. The Mario Bros. are sentenced to slavery for doing this, which goes with how sin enslaves us and sentences us to death.
- In the Mario Galaxy Movie, Mario saves Bowser Jr. from one of his creations, which is how the occult says the AntiChrist will fix the mess that Yeshua the Son made.
- In the Mario Galaxy Movie, Peach gives Mario the Kingdom just as the Whore will turn over power to the AntiChrist.
- Luigi: Jesuits

- Perry / Princess Peach Umbrella talks with Princess Peach and mentors her through her quest just as Satan mentors the Whore / Sea Beast from the Book of Revelation
- Toad: Merchants from the Book of Revelation
- In the Mario Galaxy Movie, the Toads crowd around and admire Yoshi as he dances. Dancing represents covenants and this goes with the Merchants worshipping Satan.
- Yoshi: The Dragon aka Satan
- In the Mario Galaxy Movie, Mario and Luigi find Yoshi inside a warp pipe within an ancient temple, which goes with the Tower of Babel and the secret combinations.
- Rosalina: Queen of Heaven aka Satan
- the adopted mother of the Lumas just as Satan is the adopted father of the wicked
- Rosalina is the queen of the cosmos just as Satan wants to take over YHWH Elohim’s rule in Heaven
- When Rosalina is trapped in the Boomsday Machine in the Mario Galaxy Movie, she is trapped in a cage to steal her power that looks like the cage that holds the power stars, which go with Satan, in the Mario Galaxy video game. After the wrath, Satan will be imprisoned by YHWH Elohim and have his power removed.

- Stars are symbolic of followers
- Luma is Rosalina adopted daughter which goes along with how the wicked are adopted children of Satan
- King Boo: Satan
- King Boo is the king of the demons
- Boo: demons
- large tongues goes with how demons tickle your ears with words
- small stubby arms goes with how demons have very little power
- their shy personality goes with how demons don’t talk with everyone
- Boos only move when you are not looking at them going with how they work in the dark and don’t want to be seen or known by others
- Princess Daisy: Occult / Kabbalah / New Age
- Mushroom: Pharmakeia
- Drugs are a mushroom that once taken make you feel larger
- Drugs are a tool used by Satan and his followers to practice witchcraft to communicate with people
- 1 Up Mushroom: Re-incarnation / MMP / Multiple Mortal Probations
- after receiving the 1 up mushroom you get another life to try to accomplish your life purpose again
- Power Star: Satan’s Protection
- The Power Star falls just like Satan fell from Heaven
- Mario receives protection from his enemies when he receives the Power Star just as the AntiChrist receives Satan’s protection from his others in his divided kingdom
- Mushroom People / Toads: the wicked
- followers of Princess Peach who represents the Whore / Sea Beast
- Bowser: YHWH in Father mode
- Horns is symbolic of power
- Turtle is a false god among non-believers
- In some Mario games and in the Mario Galaxy movie, Bowser is friends with the Mario Bros. which goes with how the occult believes that they will be able to change YHWH’s mind.
- In the Mario Galaxy Movie, Mario and his friends destroy flowers on the Honey planet. Flowers and Honey represent Torah in Symbolism and in destroying these, it goes with how the AntiChrist is the Man of Lawlessness because Lawlessness is described in hebrew scripture as destroying Torah. Bowser takes this debt in Mario and Luigi’s place which goes with how YHWH Elohim took on flesh and took the debt of our sins onto himself. He says how he has the strength of 100 men to help him pay off the debt. 100 goes with Covenant and Torah, because Yeshua is the only man who fully lived Torah at all times from birth to death.
- Bowser Jr: YHWH in Son mode
- Horns is symbolic of power
- Turtle is a false god among non-believers
- Jr because he is the son of the Father
- Jr is somewhat dressed up as a clown which goes how the wicked turn Yeshua / Jesus into a clown and a joker
- Donkey Kong: YHWH in Son mode
- Donkey is symbolic of people.
- Shigeru Miyamoto wanted to name him Donkey because he believed that Donkey meant “Idiot” in English, and that goes with how Clowns in gnostic symbolism represent Yeshua. Also see 1 Corinthians 1:25.
- Kong translates to king see Meaning of the name Kong. He is called “the strongest of the Kongs” which goes with how Yeshua is the King of Kings.
- In the Donkey Kong Jr. video game, Donkey Kong is called Papa which goes with how Yeshua is the Father. See Modalism.
- Going more along with Modalism and how it confuses the wicked; Donkey Kong is not actually just one person. There are at least three different characters that take on the Donkey Kong Mantle. The original Donkey Kong became Cranky Kong, which goes with how the wicked believe YHWH Elohim is only wrathful, how they believe he will step down from his office, and how they see God the Father as being a man with a big white beard (the beard also goes with authority). One of these Donkey Kongs is Donkey Kong Jr. who Nintendo does not seem to agree on who he is or what to do with him, and this goes with the Holy Spirit which many thing is a person or a force, but which is actually Torah. He wears what looks like a white sheet which goes with how many in the world think the Holy Spirit and Holy Ghost are different things.
- Donkey Kong is throwing wine barrels towards the wicked just as Yeshua / Jesus always wants people to accept His atonement
- The ladders to get to Donkey Kong goes with the Jacob’s Ladder which Yeshua / Jesus at the top.
- The current Donkey Kong has a red tie, which goes with the red plasma column from the planet Mars, which represents Yeshua, in the Polar Configuration. The original Donkey Kong, who represents the Father, did not have a tie. This goes with the Second Coming and how the Polar Configuration will be returning with Yeshua’s return.
- Other than Mario, who is the AntiChrist, Donkey Kong’s biggest enemies are the Kremlings which are alligators, representing demons. See: Symbolism
- Donkey Kong’s theme song says “He’s the leader of the bunch, you know him well. He’s finally back to kick some tail,” which goes along with Second Coming Events.
- Roman Catholicism applies a symbol to Yeshua called the Christogram, which is a logographic abbreviation of his name: J.C. Likewise, Donkey Kong’s main symbol is a logographic abbreviation of his own name: D.K. This emblem is also sometimes featured in a red circle, which also goes with Mars.
- The Original Donkey Kong calls the New Donkey Kong “Our protector and future king.”
- Donkey Kong has a temper which goes with the coming Wrath of YHWH Elohim.
- Donkey Kong originally spoke in third-person English, which goes with the Poetic Illeism of the Godhead.
- Donkey Kong is immune to hypnosis which shows how the occult does not have the power that it thinks it does over Yeshua.
- Kamek: Preparer Prophets see Mighty and Strong One
- Kamek always announces Bowser’s coming which goes with Preparer Prophets such as John the Baptist see Mighty and Strong One for examples and explanation
- Wario: Mighty and Strong One
- W is upside down M to represent evil (evil for evil is good)
- Waluigi: Aaron, Mighty and Strong One religious helper
- Wa = evil Luigi (evil for evil is good)
- Piranha Plant / Flower: people who keep Torah
- Piranha Plants / Flowers hinder Mario’s progression just as people who keep Torah hinders the plans of the wicked
- Fire Piranha Plant / Flower: people who are calling repentance

- Bowser converted some of the mushroom people to follow him
- kind of looks like dogs which are symbolic of followers
- In the Mario Galaxy Movie, Goomba growls at Toad which goes with how the people will revolt against the merchants in the coming U.S Civil War.
- Bee: Holy Priesthood of YHWH Elohim / Yeshua / Jesus
- Bees attack Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach just as YHWH’s holy priesthood calls people to repentance
- Honey: Torah
- Honey slows down Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach just as when people keep YHWH’s Torah it slows down the plans of the wicked
- Bee Mario: false priesthood
- With bees being the holy priest and Mario being the AntiChrist shows how Mario is over the Sea Beast which is the religious end time beast
- Angry Sun: Ancient Dark Sun Worship
- Mario, Luigi, and Princess Pearch run away from the Angry Sun just as the wicked try to escape the consequences of their sins
- Wind: Curse from YHWH
- Wind is used to make it harder for Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach to get what they want
- Chain Chomp: Eternal Bondage to Satan in Hell
- Chain = bond to Satan because of your sins
- Chomp / Ball = circle = complete
- Mario, Luigi, and Princess Pearch run away from the Chain Chomp just as the wicked try to escape the consequences of their sins
- Pit: hell
- Mario, Luigi, and Princess Pearch die when they fall into a pit just as the consequence of sin is death, physical and spiritual (hell), unless we come under Yeshua’s / Jesus’ covering aka the atonement
- Fire Flower: gives the ability to pronounce false judgements
- Warp Pipe: Secret Plans
- Warp Pipes move Mario further into the game just as secret plans in the works help the wicked get what they want out of no where
- Leaf: Judgement
- When Mario touches a leaf he receives a tail. Just as when the AntiChrist receives judgement he gets angry and shows forth his wrath.
- Tail: Wrath

- Koopa Clown Car: represents YHWH Elohim coming down from the clouds at the Second Coming
- Both Bowser and Bowser Jr having a Clown goes with Modalism
- In the Mario Galaxy Movie, both Bowser and Bowser Jr. ride together in the same Koopa Clown Car.
- Junior Clown Car: represents YHWH Elohim coming down from the clouds at the Second Coming
- Both Bowser and Bowser Jr having a Clown goes with Modalism
- Dry Bones: YHWH’s people who have not woken up to YHWH’s Torah from Ezekiel 37 see SJR Ezekiel 37 Chiasmus
- Planet Bowser: Zion / New Jerusalem
- Bowser’s Airship: Polar Configuration
- The cannon balls from the Airship goes along with the fire and brimstone that comes with the returning of the Polar Configuration during the 7th Seal / Wrath of the Second Coming events.
- The Boomsday Weapon: The Wrath and coming Polar Configuration.
- The Boomsday weapon will lead to the end of Rosalina’s, who is Satan, plans.
- Doomsday is what the world calls the Day of YHWH’s Wrath.
- The Boomsday Weapon is described as “It could destroy the universe! …The weapon was ready, they went planet by planet, destroying all those who disrespected them! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! Until they danced on the ashes of the universe, and reigned supreme!” This goes with how the Polar Configuration will destroy the world, or the wicked, aka those who disrespect YHWH Elohim, and then he will return and reign on the Earth.
- Bowser Jr.’s Spaceship: Saturn in the Polar Configuration
- It is also referred to as the Airship.
- Megaleg: Venus in the Polar Configuration.
- It proceeds out of Bowser Jr’s Spaceship, just as Venus is below Saturn in the Polar Configuration.
- In the Mario Galaxy Game, you fight Megaleg on a planet that looks kind of like Venus.
- Megaleg shoots bullets and cannonballs which goes with the Fire and Brimstone.
- Megaleg has eyes that look like fly eyes, because flies represent Satan (see symbolism) and Venus is associated with Satan in the occult.
- Megaleg has a power star inside of him, which also goes with how Venus is Satan in the occult.
- Megaleg returns in Super Mario Galaxy 2 just as the Polar Configuration will return.
- Megaleg is based on the original design of the Tripod Walkers from H.G. Wells’ novel, “War of the Worlds”, which come from Mars and further goes with the Polar Configuration.
