An important implication from JST Luke 1:34-35 in how Joseph Smith removed “seeing I [Mary] know not a man” brings out how Joseph, Mary’s husband, is Yeshua’s / Jesus biological father as older manuscripts state see the book Yeshua, the Patrilineal Son of David for more on this.

Here are some verses from the Gospel of John that has retained the fact that Joseph, the husband of Mary, is Yeshua’s / Jesus’ biological father.
Luke 4:22 And all bare Him [Yeshua] witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of His [Yeshua’s] mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?
John 1:45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
John 6:42 And they said, Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? how is it then that he saith, I came down from heaven?
Throughout the scriptures linage is through the father and not the mother. The twelve tribes of Israel are from the twelve sons of Israel. If linage was through the mother, which it’s not, instead of the father there would be only one tribe of Israel through Israel’s one daughter Dinah, but that is not the case. The wives of the twelve sons were not from Israel, showing that linage is through the father not the mother. Which means for Yeshua / Jesus to be a son of David, Joseph, Mary’s husband, has to the biological father.
Lineage is by the father not by the mother. I know this is a highly debated subject but Karaite Jews, Jews who only go by the Torah and Tanak aka scriptures, say lineage is by the father vs Orthodox / Rabbinic Jews who treasure their Oral Law aka false traditions of men over the written law say it is by the mother now, but admit that it was by the father in the scriptures. The begots in the scriptures are tied to the fathers not the mothers. The promises we are hoping to receive were given to the FATHERS not the mothers. Households were by the fathers, and so was inheritance. Moses’ children were Israelites even though their mother was not. The Messiah came to us from the SEED/SPERM of David not from an egg from David’s line. The Messiah did not come to us from a Moabite line, Ruth, but from the line of Judah through the fathers. The book Yeshua, the Patrilineal Son of David goes over forgotten Bible manuscripts that shows that Joseph, Mary’s husband, is Yeshua’s / Jesus’ biological father.
The article Born of a Virgin was written by a Strangite, another sect in the Restoration through Joseph Smith, to show how Joseph, the husband of Mary, is Yeshua’s / Jesus’ biological father. I don’t agree with everything that is stated in it and Church History quotes that are alluded to don’t teach what is being stated they teach. In addition at the end of the article it states that the James J Strang, who started the Strangite sect, is the source of this knowledge. I am not able to prove it at this point, but I believe James J Strang would have learned this truth from the holy prophet Joseph Smith. Overall I do find the article Born of a Virgin is a good read. This idea is reiterated in the interview Strangite Teachings about Jesus (Part 5 of 6 William Shepard).
In the book Historical Jesus, it is brought out how there are no early records that claim Mary was a Greek virgin or in otherwords did not have sex.
Below is a Hebrew Matthew translated into English and it brings out that Joseph, Mary’s husband, is Yeshua’s / Jesus’ biological father.

Ebionites, an early Jewish Christian sect, used the Gospel of Matthew written in Aramaic but WITHOUT the Virgin Birth narrative and believed that Joseph, the husband of Mary, was Yeshua’s / Jesus’ biological father.
