00:00:55 like serious there’s been multiple times
00:00:58 I’ve spent multiple hours on it okay and
00:01:01 I’m working on my um the one I’m
00:01:04 focusing on these last couple times is
00:01:06 my second Nei 31 the baptism of Jesus um
00:01:11 and the first part is done right because
00:01:13 I I did it because
00:01:16 of to be complimentary to the baptism
00:01:21 one that I’m talking about how you and
00:01:24 the things that I was kind of telling
00:01:25 about that I see from when I was doing
00:01:27 that and so I’m writing that to be
00:01:30 complimentary to that but um I’m adding
00:01:34 more and more to it and these last
00:01:36 couple times I’ve I probably done at
00:01:39 least three to four hours each time
00:01:42 doing my study and double cheing and
00:01:45 thinking things through right and I’m
00:01:49 getting more to add to it in
00:01:51 fact okay since we’re on this right now
00:01:53 I’ll just do this real quick so I I got
00:01:56 a new insight just kind of randomly I I
00:02:00 like to do to study in addition
00:02:05 but in in there’s a Hebrew idiom
00:02:08 plain and plain has to do with
00:02:11 commandments so I I mean this is I don’t
00:02:13 know if you’ve I’ve shared this a few
00:02:15 times on some of my blogs but here it
00:02:17 says plain Commandments of God where it
00:02:20 ties it together and now my brethren I
00:02:23 would that you should hear me for I
00:02:24 speak in the energy of my soul for
00:02:27 behold I have spoken unto you plainly
00:02:29 that you may not Heir or in other words
00:02:33 have spoken according to the
00:02:34 Commandments of
00:02:37 god plain is an idiom Hebrew idiom for
00:02:41 Commandments and this is has been my
00:02:44 go-to for for a while and lately I’ve
00:02:47 been seeing more of it in the book of
00:02:48 Mor but here’s here’s a good one that I
00:02:50 saw a couple days
00:02:52 ago um and this is a good connection in
00:02:56 my opinion so Nephi kept the
00:02:59 Commandments starting in the wilderness
00:03:01 right um he he he he didn’t do it from
00:03:05 his youth or at least not real
00:03:07 diligently right um which it gives hope
00:03:11 for us right right sure second Nei 1:24
00:03:16 re Rebel no more oh so this is Lehi
00:03:19 speaking right to Layman and
00:03:21 lemel and the other Wicked people right
00:03:25 re Rebel no more against your brother
00:03:28 Nephi so this is probably to Lon and LEL
00:03:31 specifically since he’s using the word
00:03:33 brother whose views have been glorious I
00:03:36 mean God’s views right and who have
00:03:39 kept the Commandments from the time
00:03:42 youest Jerusalem right so what was he
00:03:44 doing before that I mean maybe he didn’t
00:03:47 keep him as diligently right
00:03:50 anyways and who hath been an instrument
00:03:52 in the hands of God in bringing us forth
00:03:55 in the land of
00:03:57 promise right I mean
00:04:01 this the land of promise you know
00:04:04 Heartland I think I think we all agree
00:04:06 on that on the call I I don’t Gary do
00:04:09 you think Heartland or do you think
00:04:10 somewhere else not that it really
00:04:13 matters I don’t even know uh at this
00:04:17 point whether the Book of Mormon is a
00:04:20 literal record of people that really
00:04:23 lived in events that really took place
00:04:25 or whether God gave Joseph Smith an
00:04:27 inspired book of fic of allegorical
00:04:29 story okay well I completely believe it
00:04:33 is what Joseph Smith States and the Book
00:04:35 of Mormon states that it’s a record uh
00:04:38 if you want I have some resources here
00:04:40 um and I mean it it’s well to me if
00:04:45 Joseph Smith was if Joseph Smith’s uh
00:04:50 creative mind was the origin of the Book
00:04:52 of Mormon then he should be expected to
00:04:54 know everything about the content but if
00:04:57 he did in fact receive this material
00:04:59 from other worldly sources then that
00:05:01 leaves open the possibility that he
00:05:03 could have some significant
00:05:04 misunderstandings of what it really was
00:05:07 sure sure I believe he knew in fact um
00:05:10 there was one of these times that you
00:05:12 didn’t come that uh I talked with Jeremy
00:05:15 and brought out from well expounded
00:05:19 mosiah 9 and10 though we only focus on
00:05:22 the first part of nine where Zenith is a
00:05:25 type of Joseph Smith and in the very
00:05:27 beginning it talks about how he knows
00:05:28 the lands and Joseph Miss stated he knew
00:05:31 where happened and so does the Lord in
00:05:34 the doctrine covenants but we won’t we
00:05:38 can uh I’ll give the book of The Book of
00:05:42 Mormon is the most correct book Because
00:05:44 of its precepts so I don’t think that
00:05:48 getting into whether it’s historical or
00:05:50 whether it’s allegoric well that’s fine
00:05:53 to the value of the book if you want you
00:05:56 can watch that where I start bringing
00:05:57 out how zenf is a type for Joseph myth
00:06:00 it’s one of the recent recordings I can
00:06:02 give you the link if you want if not
00:06:04 it’s either way I’m glad that you
00:06:06 believe
00:06:07 it’s um correct principles but anyways
00:06:10 okay back to this correct principles and
00:06:13 God is the origin of the material you
00:06:15 know D Oaks that ridicules the idea I
00:06:19 the term he uses is pious fiction uh but
00:06:22 I I certainly don’t believe in the whole
00:06:26 uh premise that if it’s Fiction it’s
00:06:28 fraud no
00:06:30 okay we don’t we don’t worry about
00:06:32 whether The Parables of Jesus were
00:06:35 literal stories about real people or
00:06:38 instructive uh St probably some of both
00:06:42 to be honest in my personal
00:06:45 opinion go ahead so to me it it doesn’t
00:06:49 really matter whether it’s real events
00:06:53 or whether it’s allegory God is the
00:06:56 author of this material and I’m
00:06:59 satisfied with that okay well if you’re
00:07:01 happy with that that’s fine I do believe
00:07:03 it’s literal
00:07:05 history
00:07:06 um I remember when um that LDS leaders
00:07:11 you know said that statement where it’s
00:07:13 not I said some things on some lus
00:07:16 Facebook pages where they were quoting
00:07:18 him and I was bringing it how the Book
00:07:19 of Mormon says
00:07:21 otherwise I got
00:07:23 blocked any
00:07:27 what wow like I said you know I can have
00:07:31 you read accept this and accept that on
00:07:33 my post it’s all over the place were you
00:07:38 were you got okay I I kind of got
00:07:40 squirel somebody mentioned D H

00:09:47 about the other guy you’re talking about
00:09:48 yeah yeah he’s a little weird and hard
00:09:52 to interact with and he thinks he’s all
00:09:54 that he’s really got a high opinion I I
00:09:58 I do
00:09:59 in the premise but when I look at his
00:10:01 articles where he tries to prove
00:10:04 it unless you already believe it they
00:10:07 don’t make clearcut
00:10:10 connections oh gotcha and I I
00:10:15 so if you’re trying
00:10:19 to help someone else see it his blog I
00:10:23 would say is not very good at that if
00:10:26 you already believe it it’s maybe
00:10:28 somewhat good but I don’t even even
00:10:29 really like it to be honest but some of
00:10:32 his premises I do agree
00:10:35 with but he is not very good at
00:10:38 connecting the dots in my opinion and
00:10:40 making it obvious for other people to
00:10:42 see it gotcha but anyways so he’s he’s
00:10:47 he he’s his conclusions are good his
00:10:49 answers are good he’s not good at
00:10:51 showing his work is that uh that’s a
00:10:54 good way of putting it but I I actually
00:10:57 think with what he shares though
00:10:59 making a leap of faith but oh Goa one
00:11:04 that I also believe in because of other
00:11:06 things that I
00:11:07 believe but he hasn’t made a clear case
00:11:11 for the position that he’s presenting
00:11:13 for those who don’t already think that
00:11:14 way and actually for those who do think
00:11:17 that way I don’t think it’s a very good
00:11:18 case either even though I agree with him
00:11:21 with the uh theory that makes sense
00:11:25 got
00:11:27 um anyways he has a lot of bias
00:11:30 confirmation in my op oh gotcha okay
00:11:33 gotta that might be a good way of
00:11:34 putting it um we all do that some of us
00:11:37 try harder not to do it even though we
00:11:40 have a bias I have a bias and I’m honest
00:11:42 about it but I try to make clear
00:11:45 connections for those who don’t have my
00:11:47 bias can
00:11:49 see to make the connection even if they
00:11:51 don’t agree with it they can see the
00:11:53 connection
00:11:55 right um all right well anyways
00:11:58 Commandments you left Jerusalem who hath
00:12:01 been an instrument in the hands of God
00:12:02 bringing us forth into promised land now
00:12:04 this is interesting right I know I’m
00:12:05 going to Sidra a little bit and doing a
00:12:07 little padr and looking at depth of the
00:12:10 Book of
00:12:11 Mormon wherever you think the Book of
00:12:13 Mormon happened
00:12:14 Heartland um which is where I’m at
00:12:19 um they went there that was the promised
00:12:21 land physically but what’s our Promised
00:12:24 Land Heavenly it’s Heaven that’s I
00:12:28 didn’t come out the best that was
00:12:29 repeated but you get the point
00:12:31 right and but part of what’s doing that
00:12:35 is because he kept the Commandments
00:12:38 right in fact you know that John verse I
00:12:43 like to quote I quoted before so I won’t
00:12:45 do it again too much but if someone
00:12:47 claims they’ve seen God and aren’t
00:12:48 keeping the Commandments they’re a
00:12:51 liar I’ve been an instrument in the so
00:12:53 anyways is keeping the Commandments
00:12:55 going to the promised land and those who
00:12:57 are helping them get there
00:12:59 are keeping the Commandments and have
00:13:01 seen God for were it not for him we must
00:13:06 have perished with hunger in the
00:13:08 wilderness now this is double meaning
00:13:11 too right Nephi with his bow and that
00:13:14 has lots of depth in it in itself right
00:13:17 to go get the
00:13:18 food
00:13:20 um what happens in the latter days
00:13:23 there’s going to be a famine of hearing
00:13:25 the word of God there’s a famine of
00:13:27 prophets
00:13:29 and we’ll perish if we don’t
00:13:32 have um God’s word in fact hunger and
00:13:35 thirsting after righteousness right
00:13:37 hunger has to do with bread bread has to
00:13:39 do with the word of God scriptures water
00:13:42 has to do with
00:13:43 Revelation so you’re direct
00:13:46 connection and and and and it’s the
00:13:49 scriptures and Revelation that help us
00:13:51 do
00:13:52 what hunger and thirst after
00:13:54 righteousness where do we find right how
00:13:55 to be righteous it’s the Commandments
00:13:59 nevertheless you seek to take away his
00:14:02 life Layman
00:14:04 lemel did not like what Nephi said right
00:14:08 because it exposed their wickedness I
00:14:11 mean Sermon on the Mount uh you stoned
00:14:14 the prophets right anyways yeah he has
00:14:18 suffered much sorrow Because of
00:14:21 You
00:14:24 sorrow not just that’s crying that’s
00:14:29 emotional Nephi cared for his brothers
00:14:32 in fact this is very impressive to me
00:14:35 right especially interacting with people
00:14:37 online Nephi knew Layman and Lil in his
00:14:41 you know uh in his Tree of Life vision
00:14:44 uh first Nephi 11 through 1415
00:14:49 right he knew Layman and lemel were
00:14:51 gonna reject God’s teaching but he still
00:14:55 put in tons of effort to teach them even
00:14:59 though he saw in a vision from God now
00:15:02 what do people on these social media
00:15:04 sites do oh you’re not going to listen
00:15:06 I’m not going to spend anytime trying to
00:15:08 to teach
00:15:10 you that’s completely contrary to Nephi
00:15:14 who was sent of God he knew Layman and
00:15:17 Lem were going to reject but he still
00:15:19 had sorrow he cried over them and trying
00:15:23 to teach them the truth it’s completely
00:15:25 contrary to what you see on social media
00:15:27 of those who claim to have the truth
00:15:30 sorry I’m getting a little
00:15:32 passionate don’t it makes sense
00:15:35 no um but anyways the main thing here in
00:15:38 this verse I find uh connecting with the
00:15:40 next one that I’m going to share is that
00:15:42 Nephi started keeping the Commandments
00:15:45 the time they L Jerusalem right okay so
00:15:48 now let’s go connect it to Blain to
00:15:50 plain which is why I brought this up 2
00:15:53 Epi 254 wherefore hearken all my people
00:15:58 which are of the House of Israel and
00:16:00 give ear unto my
00:16:02 words for because of the words of Isaiah
00:16:07 are not plain unto
00:16:09 you
00:16:11 nevertheless they are plain unto all
00:16:13 those who are filled with the spirit of
00:16:16 Prophecy you know why elas Church can’t
00:16:19 explain Isa Isaiah here we
00:16:25 go there so-called prophets don’t have
00:16:27 the spirit of Prophecy
00:16:30 that’s according to the Book of
00:16:32 Mormon nevertheless they are plain on
00:16:34 those who are filled with the spirit of
00:16:35 Prophecy it’s not plain the elest
00:16:40 leaders behold oh sorry but I give unto
00:16:44 you a prophecy according to the spirit
00:16:46 which is in me wherefore I shall
00:16:49 prophesy according to the plainness
00:16:52 which hath been with me from the time I
00:16:55 Nephi or I put in Nephi right came out
00:16:58 of Jerusalem oh wait a
00:17:00 minute that plainness which had been
00:17:03 with me from the time I came out of
00:17:07 Jerusalem come up here and who had kept
00:17:11 the Commandments from the time we left
00:17:15 Jerusalem Lehi brought out how Nephi
00:17:19 kept the Commandments when they left
00:17:22 Jerusalem Nephi is saying he had the
00:17:26 plain plainness with him since he left
00:17:30 Jerusalem I
00:17:32 submit this is another example plainness
00:17:36 is
00:17:38 Commandments you go judge for yourself I
00:17:41 see the connection and there’s others
00:17:44 but anyways that was one that I found
00:17:47 recently I think that’s powerful
00:17:51 personally um okay we can finish the
00:17:54 verse came out of Jerusalem with my
00:17:57 father I mean you want to look at the
00:17:59 symbolism who who who’s our Father God
00:18:03 right who gives us the
00:18:05 Commandments God God I mean I I really
00:18:10 believe these words that Nephi Mormon
00:18:14 and Moroni put in are very well thought
00:18:17 out very well thought
00:18:19 out they’re structuring
00:18:24 history that is teaching in a way that
00:18:28 teaches
00:18:29 correct principles this is not just a
00:18:32 history
00:18:34 book for behold my soul delighteth in
00:18:37 the plainness of unto my people my soul
00:18:41 delighteth in the Commandments unto my
00:18:43 people that they may learn when we keep
00:18:46 the Commandments we learn and I have a
00:18:49 post on that but we anyways I have a
00:18:52 post on a lot of things don’t I but
00:18:56 um I’ll just share if people want to go
00:18:59 read it but catch my catch and
00:19:02 understand post gets into a lot of those
00:19:03 details of keeping the Commandments that
00:19:06 we’ll then learn um fact even Jesus said
00:19:10 it right and I quote him in the post
00:19:14 that um if you want to know if it’s my
00:19:16 will or the father’s will my will as in
00:19:18 just you know some human or the father’s
00:19:20 will go do it and you’ll learn and find
00:19:23 out um and the Book of warmer talks
00:19:26 about it and I I bring it out in that
00:19:28 post

00:19:34 right we were I was talking about that
00:19:37 um statement from Joi unless you guys

00:22:01 me there have also been ministering of
00:22:04 Angels in the church which were of Satan
00:22:06 appearing as angel of Light a sister in
00:22:09 the state of New York had a vision who
00:22:12 said it was told her that if she would
00:22:14 go to a certain place in the woods an
00:22:16 angel would appear to her she went an
00:22:19 appointed time and saw a glorious
00:22:21 personage descending array in white she
00:22:24 commen see oh dot dot dot okay and we
00:22:27 can talk about that later
00:22:29 he she he commenced and told her to fear
00:22:32 God I mean that’s a good thing right
00:22:34 that sounds like a righteous thing and
00:22:36 said that her husband was called to do
00:22:38 great things oh who doesn’t want to
00:22:39 believe that but that must he must not
00:22:43 go more than 100 miles from home or he
00:22:46 would not return whereas God had called
00:22:49 him to go to the ends of the world so
00:22:53 Satan or this you know deceiving angel
00:22:56 said he can’t go more than 100 miles but
00:22:58 Smith is putting in but he was called to
00:23:00 go to the ends of the world and he since
00:23:04 have been more than 1,000 miles from
00:23:06 home and yet is alive many true things
00:23:08 were spoken by this personage and many
00:23:11 false things how may we ask it be known
00:23:14 to be an angel ellipses or dot dot dot
00:23:17 by his contradicting of a former
00:23:19 Revelation so the angel told him that he
00:23:24 can’t go more than 100 miles away but
00:23:26 God actually said he needed to go to the
00:23:28 the Earth and Joseph Smith said he went
00:23:30 more than 100 more than a thousand miles
00:23:32 right now the part that people take out
00:23:36 is the part that’s interesting that’s
00:23:37 hubic that people don’t like to talk
00:23:39 about because they don’t they don’t know
00:23:42 it they don’t understand it
00:23:46 um I think it was under hair
00:23:51 color yeah here we go um so here’s the
00:23:56 key part I mean we can look at the other
00:23:57 ellipses too too but it’s pretty much
00:23:59 the same
00:24:03 thing by the how may it be asked was
00:24:07 this known to be a bad Angel this is the
00:24:11 part that people don’t like to talk
00:24:12 about by the color of his
00:24:14 hair that that is one sign that he can
00:24:19 be known by and by his contradicting of
00:24:22 former Revelation color of his hair what
00:24:25 does that have to do with right where
00:24:27 let’s find the another one
00:24:29 oh uh a Sandy colored hair that’s the
00:24:34 Sandy colored hair y I remember that
00:24:36 that’s uh that’s the other so now
00:24:39 there’s
00:24:40 multiple Hebrew idioms that’s going
00:24:43 along going on in here okay one first is
00:24:47 hair hair is an idiom for authority and
00:24:53 where that comes from is the rebellion
00:24:56 of cork in Torah so it’s there’s this
00:25:03 history of uh a group of people led by
00:25:07 Kora who are like questioning Moses as
00:25:11 an Aaron’s Authority from God
00:25:14 right and the reason why hair goes with
00:25:18 authority or this is part of it anyways
00:25:22 when he as he’s doing this or before or
00:25:24 after I don’t remember exactly on some
00:25:26 of these details he he cut his
00:25:31 hair and that’s partly why in the Hebrew
00:25:34 culture uh that hair is a symbolic for
00:25:37 Authority he’s he’s questioning
00:25:40 Authority in in that story he this is
00:25:43 where he gets
00:25:45 um uh caught up or or swallowed up in
00:25:48 the earth actually because of the the
00:25:52 the earthquake that happened and they go
00:25:54 down in the earth in the earthquake and
00:25:55 they get buried um anyways
00:25:59 but that goes into
00:26:02 Authority um the other one is the color
00:26:06 like we were just talking about from The
00:26:07 Book of Revelations the reason why God’s
00:26:10 hair is white and his beard is white in
00:26:12 the Book of Revelations is because white
00:26:15 is a color for
00:26:19 righteousness and so the statement from
00:26:21 Joseph Smith by the color of his hair
00:26:24 brings in two Hebrew idioms color
00:26:28 and
00:26:29 hair white hair is
00:26:32 righteous
00:26:36 Authority where Satan his angels are
00:26:39 trying to be deceitful and con conniving
00:26:43 and pushy and a lot of other things and
00:26:47 that’s how they’re showing their
00:26:48 Authority is by how you interact with
00:26:51 people is showing by what means you
00:26:53 think you have
00:26:56 authority if you’re Interac in with
00:26:58 people like God like you’re trying to
00:27:00 expound and convince them and Inspire
00:27:03 them your Authority is probably from God
00:27:06 if your Authority is by trying to make
00:27:09 them feel feel fearful scared and
00:27:13 demeaned so on and so forth your
00:27:15 Authority is probably from Satan if that

00:27:39 acts shows who they’re ultimately are
00:27:41 following now we I do understand that
00:27:44 we’re sinful right and we’re Fallen men

00:27:48 then um we make
00:27:50 mistakes but those who are actually
00:27:52 trying to follow God admit their
00:27:55 mistakes to those who they’ve wronged
00:27:58 and then uh do better
00:28:00 afterwards I I don’t know about you I
00:28:03 I’ve especially with kids right do you
00:28:06 have kids Jeremy no oh okay um they’re
00:28:11 good to have but they can try your
00:28:13 patience and right bet I try hard to
00:28:18 talk to my kids and reason through with
00:28:20 them oh my older one my youngest one is

00:29:05 ultimately aspiring to be like for you

00:29:15 that happens in a snap of the finger
00:29:17 that we just change our
00:29:19 behaviors changing our behaviors is a
00:29:22 lifetime process and that’s part of the
00:29:25 reason why we need to keep reading the
00:29:26 scriptures so we can
00:29:28 um and have a relationship with God we
00:29:31 can um find out what we need to change
00:29:35 right to be more like him so that way um
00:29:39 the last day will be a joyful day and
00:29:43 not a terrible
00:29:44 day because it’s too late after
00:29:47 that
00:29:49 anyways so there’s a Hebrew idiom that
00:29:54 well actually two uh that Joseph Smith
00:29:56 combined that a lot of people
00:29:59 um are embarrassed by right if they

00:33:31 them correct and just simply make it

00:33:38 how it is throughout the whole book of

00:40:17 Authority right and he was supposed to
00:40:19 let his hair keep growing and when
00:40:23 he um told the secret to Delila I’m
00:40:28 hoping I remember that correctly right
00:40:32 um then he then lost his authority and
00:40:35 his power because our power comes from
00:40:37 our Authority in fact oh I I there
00:40:41 there’s a I won’t go there but there’s a
00:40:44 a verse in in I think it’s Jacob to I
00:40:47 could find it in the notes if you’re
00:40:48 really worried about but um it talks
00:40:51 about priesthood power and how it’s even
00:40:55 the trees and would obey us if we
00:40:59 command them right and Joseph Smith
00:41:02 talks about the priesthood of God can
00:41:03 command the elements and here’s the Book
00:41:05 of Mormon teach in the same thing I
00:41:07 honestly believe the reason Joseph Smith
00:41:09 got
00:41:10 Revelations is because he didn’t have
00:41:12 the time to studied the Book of Mormon
00:41:14 as well as like because he was running a
00:41:16 church I’ve studied the Book of Mormon
00:41:20 for a good part of my life right growing
00:41:24 up in the church probably since I was a
00:41:26 baby to some EXP extent right right but
00:41:30 Joseph Smith didn’t have that time but
00:41:32 the things that are in the DNC they’re
00:41:34 just for the most part reiteration is

00:42:47 Mormon there were tons of Miracles

00:43:00 Angels not not just what they heard not
00:43:03 just their own interpretation of it and
00:43:05 I’m saying that on purpose some may
00:43:07 catch that some may not but they publish
00:43:10 the actual
00:43:12 words to everyone including
00:43:14 non-believers and you know what people
00:43:15 started believing
00:43:17 it but these are the types of lame

00:46:05 behind the four and the six and the five
00:46:07 and the five are pretty close to each

00:46:12 and we can get into that but we’ll start
00:46:14 with the four and the six which I think
00:46:16 is it’s logical I just don’t think it
00:46:19 takes everything into account okay but
00:46:22 the four and the six is the four about
00:46:25 God and six are about other people okay
00:46:29 that’s that’s pretty logical right yeah

00:46:36 so the separation has to do with those
00:46:39 in authority over us which we definitely
00:46:42 are um and our parents our parents have
00:46:47 authority over us and then the other
00:46:49 five according to um others or our peers

00:46:57 there’s multiple reasons why I believe
00:46:59 the five and the five and we can get
00:47:01 into that if you want and I’m happy to
00:47:04 but an an overview of that is when you
00:47:07 do five and five you take the first of
00:47:10 the ones of God of the first the ones
00:47:13 with uh our neighbors or our peers they
00:47:15 coincide with each other they’re the
00:47:18 same principle applied to Authority God
00:47:22 and to our peers our neighbors okay all
00:47:26 the way down to two three four and five
00:47:28 and that pattern matches so there’s five
00:47:31 principles that appli to two different
00:47:34 groups
00:47:36 Authority versus our peers our neighbors
00:47:40 okay or even our enemies right it’s not
00:47:43 just that’s a whole oh that that’s a
00:47:45 whole another subject but in fact here
00:47:48 I’ll Sidetrack us again just a little
00:47:50 bit but you know
00:47:53 um the parable uh the Good Samaritan

00:47:58 where Jus asks the men how do you read
00:48:03 that right so here’s an interesting
00:48:05 point you know how in Hebrew that they
00:48:09 don’t put the vow points in ancient

00:49:50 nazarenes the the Jewish the Christian

00:50:57 because they do have good wisdom to help

00:51:02 is most people divorce it from the tanak
00:51:06 and they get all these weird theories
00:51:09 from it because they don’t understand
00:51:10 the base well it it if you don’t
00:51:13 understand the base you’re not gonna

00:51:18 with Paul right he was a a very very
00:51:22 deep

00:51:26 are trying to take his stuff out of

00:51:36 Paul’s writings can be misunderstood um

00:52:34 the way that these uh Christian
00:52:36 apologists are are using this is totally
00:52:39 not in the way that Paul’s understanding

00:52:50 share something from that because it

00:53:30 Torah is light yeah and good and he
00:53:34 loves it and all of a sudden with
00:53:36 Christians is completely different in
00:53:38 fact Christians you’re like they love to
00:53:40 say I have all power in Christ to do
00:53:42 whatever God wants me to
00:53:43 do except keep the law except keep the
00:53:47 law I mean they don’t say that last part
00:53:49 but when you interact with them and talk
00:53:51 about it they have that asterisk that
00:53:54 you need to go read the fine print or in
00:53:56 the the notes except the
00:53:58 law right or except the high holidays
00:54:00 God gives me all power to do everything
00:54:03 except keep the law in in his
00:54:08 holidays I I mean they don’t say it but

00:54:13 do that’s what they’re saying behind

01:01:48 they said that they did that for a while

01:01:53 they quit but they they’re not doing it
01:01:55 now but they’re going to try and get
01:01:56 back into it um but they said that they
01:01:59 had some really amazing
01:02:01 experiences um well
01:02:05 um I was like oh that’s cool so I’m

01:03:18 man The Book of Mormon answers so many

01:03:25 that answers so many issues if people
01:03:28 would just trust it and like I was
01:03:30 saying with the before you know during
01:03:33 the fellowship time that and I’ll put
01:03:36 the debate in the
01:03:39 chat this debater is bringing out how
01:03:45 um
01:03:46 the baptism is not necessary for
01:03:49 salvation and I agree with them in fact
01:03:52 to the point I believe the Book of
01:03:54 Mormon teaches that and we could look at
01:03:56 that some if you want or we can go
01:03:57 wherever you want
01:04:00 but I because you know growing up LDS
01:04:04 it’s um you know baptism is necessary I
01:04:08 mean that’s so it teaches not to
01:04:11 baptize the waranty does not not to
01:04:14 baptize no it doesn’t it says it’s not
01:04:16 necessary for it’s not necessary oh okay
01:04:19 so really here’s my quick summary if we
01:04:22 don’t want to get into the details now

01:07:27 not just making it up right sure as a
01:07:30 witness before him that you have already
01:07:34 entered into a covenant with him that
01:07:37 you serve him and keep his Commandments
01:07:40 that you may power pour out his Spirit
01:07:44 upon more abundantly upon you now
01:07:48 there’s two big things in this verses
01:07:51 one baptism is a witness of a covenant
01:07:54 already made which contradicts the elus
01:07:57 church and I get in that in here um I
01:08:00 don’t want to get into too much details
01:08:02 because I’d rather go back to the
01:08:03 virgins things but then also the Elder
01:08:05 Church
01:08:07 teaches um to have the Holy Ghost
01:08:11 right the only people that have the Holy
01:08:14 Ghost
01:08:15 abundantly are those who are LDS who’ve
01:08:18 been baptized but now look at this
01:08:21 you’re baptized so that he may pour out
01:08:24 his spirit
01:08:26 more abundantly abundantly now more is a
01:08:30 big key word in this why we have to say
01:08:33 more abundantly rather than just
01:08:35 abundantly it’s because God gives his
01:08:38 Spirit abundantly
01:08:41 beforehand and that’s why the keyword
01:08:44 qualifying more has to
01:08:47 be interesting another thing that
01:08:50 contradicts elus teachings yeah um and
01:08:54 they say if you haven’t been baptized or
01:08:56 reive the Holy Ghost you don’t have any
01:08:57 of the spirit I I had a problem with
01:08:59 that myself you know so does the Book of
01:09:02 Mormon yeah yeah the light of those
01:09:05 passages about the Light of Christ and
01:09:08 it’s with everybody right as the light
01:09:11 the Light of Christ which is just
01:09:12 another term for Holy Ghost
01:09:15 uhuh is given to all men y I mean that’s
01:09:19 if you believe the Book of Mormon and I
01:09:21 do and so do you yeah oh exactly yeah
01:09:26 now the question is for a lot of people
01:09:27 do you believe the Book of
01:09:29 Mormon over the false Traditions you’re
01:09:31 taught in whatever Restoration Church
01:09:33 you belong

01:10:15 knowledge of God and his understanding

01:10:23 made them look bad right

01:10:27 him look bad for to be bad’s sake

01:10:32 but Joseph Smith said we are to abide
01:10:35 The Book of Mormon you go look up a
01:10:37 abide in the 1828 dictionary it is to
01:10:40 guard protect and follow and
01:10:44 keep if you’re going by false traditions
01:10:46 instead of protecting what the Book of
01:10:48 Mormons and defending what the book of
01:10:50 morgon actually says do you believe the
01:10:52 Book of Mormon or your false Traditions
01:10:54 you need every individual person needs
01:10:56 to make that decision themselves but I
01:10:59 think it’s obvious by what you do yeah
01:11:02 yeah um you know radio radio free Mormon
01:11:06 yeah I think I think you said you did
01:11:07 yeah yeah I I I I like listening to him
01:11:10 I haven’t listened to him for a long
01:11:12 time
01:11:14 because he has a lot of knowledge but I
01:11:18 don’t think he
01:11:19 always uses it correctly sure sure I

01:11:47 other Church Christians in general it’s
01:11:49 not just LS yeah those who just only
01:11:53 believe in the Bible but the thing is is
01:11:55 those who believe in the Bible and the
01:11:56 Book of Mor have this additional witness
01:11:58 that’s yeah so much to help clear out
01:12:02 these confusions that they don’t use
01:12:06 it it’s
01:12:08 unfortunate yeah I mean this debate that
01:12:11 I like that I um I I’ll watch it no I’ll

01:14:03 even when he’s wrong than a lot of
01:14:05 churches who are trying to get money out
01:14:07 of people yeah yeah or other
01:14:11 organization other post Mormon
01:14:12 organizations don’t want to mention any
01:14:14 names but for sure there’s a lot of them
01:14:17 um even just other restoration churches
01:14:20 because there there’s one Restoration
01:14:22 Church that I I’m friends with with them
01:14:25 on
01:14:27 but they take tithing and they don’t use
01:14:30 it according to the Book of Mormon or
01:14:33 jsts oh really yeah because tithings for
01:14:36 the poor I mean the Book of Mormon and
01:14:38 the jsts and DNC make that pretty clear
01:14:41 but they use it for other
01:14:43 things but yet they they they claim to
01:14:47 believe in those things but they don’t
01:14:50 according to them do they really believe
01:14:53 them that’s a question you have to ask
01:14:55 ask I would stipulate
01:14:58 no if you really beli them wouldn’t you
01:15:00 be doing them fact even in the Hebrew
01:15:04 context of belief belief
01:15:07 has Hebrew language has a lot to do with
01:15:10 um
01:15:11 functionality not Theory like Greeks do
01:15:15 and functionality of belief is
01:15:19 doing belief is
01:15:22 doing that makes sense anyways that I
01:15:26 it’s just another sorry if I’m
01:15:28 sidetracking a lot but no no no
01:15:31 understanding the Hebrew roots of our um
01:15:34 Faith really solves a lot of problems it
01:15:37 really
01:15:39 does I I mean we almost have to take a
01:15:42 class on uh Hebrew right I mean to um
01:15:47 you got to be careful where you take it
01:15:48 from or or take things from a grain of
01:15:50 salt because I’ve taken some before I’ve
01:15:52 paid for some and a a lot of
01:15:56 them they go off the just the current
01:15:59 scholar actic theories that are just
01:16:02 really wrong to be honest in my honest
01:16:06 opinion um for example they they a lot
01:16:09 of them will preach that the gospels
01:16:11 were originally Greek and then Hebrew
01:16:14 but they’re full of Hebrew idioms yeah
01:16:18 there’s some uh some yeah a lot of a lot
01:16:21 of passages make more sense when you
01:16:23 translate it like when uh I guess the
01:16:27 the Greek of the Sabbath is not for man
01:16:29 or man you know man is not or the
01:16:32 Sabbath was made for man and not and not
01:16:35 the other way around you know man was
01:16:37 not yeah I know what you’re talking
01:16:38 about yeah that I totally butcher right
01:16:42 yeah I guess it makes more sense
01:16:44 translated into Aramaic when as opposed
01:16:47 to reading it in the Greek so it it
01:16:50 makes I would be surprised I don’t know
01:16:52 details on that one but yeah I would not
01:16:55 it was yeah I took a class on the New
01:16:58 Testament and so that the teacher broke
01:17:01 you know he said some of the stuff it
01:17:03 just makes perfect sense um translating
01:17:05 it back into into into uh Aramaic
01:17:09 especially a lot of the uh I believe
01:17:11 it’s Matthew he said is is very
01:17:16 um Herman
01:17:18 right um oh no that’s that’s sorry
01:17:22 that’s something else um
01:17:26 Neman gordian is what I meant to say

01:17:58 to agree with this that
01:17:59 there’s very good chance that the Hebrew
01:18:02 was written first Andor at the same time
01:18:06 as the Greek
01:18:07 one okay everything in it is like Hebrew
01:18:10 when you really understand the context
01:18:11 in the Hebrew idioms and everything it’s
01:18:13 all Hebrew
01:18:16 yeah and so either the Hebrew came first
01:18:19 or they wrote the Hebrew and the Greek
01:18:20 at the same time is the theory that I
01:18:24 believe right now sense that makes sense
01:18:26 and it makes sense most of
01:18:29 the it’s interesting when you get into I
01:18:31 want to say it’s Luke Luke is the more
01:18:33 Greek of the gospels if I’m not mistaken
01:18:36 um that that one it’s it’s thought that
01:18:40 one was well I mean they were all
01:18:42 written in Greek they they claimed
01:18:44 they’re all written in Greek and that’s
01:18:45 one of the things I really disagree with
01:18:48 a lot of evidence and research that just
01:18:50 Pro but it’s not mainstream but I’ll
01:18:54 tell you
01:18:56 yeah I think mainstream are the up the
01:19:00 really high ones are misleading on
01:19:02 purpose the there’s always in every
01:19:05 organization and movement or theories or
01:19:08 whatever right there’s the people that
01:19:10 really believe it they’re just deceived
01:19:12 in reiterating what they think is true
01:19:15 sure makes sense
01:19:20 but when I went to a class that I paid
01:19:23 for I wasn’t the teachers pet I was
01:19:25 probably the teacher’s enemy and I don’t
01:19:27 think I don’t think I’m any expert but I
01:19:31 know tidbits here and there yeah and
01:19:35 they just can’t handle it piss the
01:19:38 teacher off yeah it does because I mean
01:19:41 most of these places teach that you know
01:19:43 the gospels written in in in Greek and I
01:19:46 just there’s a lot of stuff that shows
01:19:48 that that’s not the case but that is the
01:19:51 mainstream Theory and I think part of
01:19:53 the reason why is because they need that
01:19:55 to twist the scriptures more where they
01:19:58 recognize if it’s in Hebrew there’s less
01:20:01 twisting you can get away with right
01:20:04 right I think that’s part of it but
01:20:06 anyways

01:20:12 interesting I mean it’s it’s a
01:20:14 interesting topic to get into and they

01:20:18 it um you like you said they don’t want

01:20:25 oh depend upon it because they’re Greek
01:20:28 experts worried about exactly right yeah

01:20:36 weren’t Greeks it wasn’t until you know

01:20:43 think that at the argument in fact this
01:20:47 gets into interesting even subject with
01:20:49 authority and and Leadership right and
01:20:52 church government uhhuh

01:20:58 told Saul Paul to go and preach to the
01:21:02 Gentiles which I believe is prophesied
01:21:05 in the

01:34:10 trying to find a way to discredit what

01:36:43 reason and there’s multiple Dimensions

01:36:49 want and I think I talked about one
01:36:52 about how on the surface commandment one
01:36:55 from the authority side and commandment
01:36:58 one from the neighbor side

01:37:03 um enemy side right or peer side right
01:37:07 because it includes neighbor and peer
01:37:09 and and enemy as we talked about is the
01:37:13 same is just the same commandment that’s
01:37:15 applied into those two different
01:37:18 circumstances and that goes through one

01:37:21 five um fact here’s one thing uh I’m
01:37:25 find being recorded on that I’m not
01:37:28 completely sure on but here’s a theory
01:37:30 that I have because of these various
01:37:33 connections that I have tithing right
01:37:36 that’s a big one right I don’t want to
01:37:38 Sidetrack into tithing too much right
01:37:40 but that’s what woke me up just
01:37:42 FYI oh really huh but I believe tithing
01:37:47 is derived from the fifth commandment
01:37:50 and I have multiple reasons why and I
01:37:53 need to spend time on this but I I’m
01:37:55 spending time on other
01:37:57 things but Jesus taught in the New
01:38:00 Testament part of honoring thy father
01:38:03 and mother was to take care of them
01:38:05 including providing money for them when
01:38:08 they got old in fact he talked about how
01:38:13 the Pharisees were wrong and how they
01:38:16 elect people claim I’m going to screw up
01:38:20 the word but something like carbon or
01:38:22 car
01:38:24 yeah that yeah it’s yeah and the fact
01:38:28 that that means giving money to the to
01:38:30 them instead of taking care of their
01:38:32 parents which I think proves that part
01:38:36 of honoring their father and mother is
01:38:38 providing money for
01:38:41 them and if honor thy father and mother
01:38:45 is part of the five of authority which I
01:38:47 do believe that sounds a lot like
01:38:50 tithing which is a commandment right
01:38:53 interesting and to provide for God’s
01:38:57 needs is to provide for his
01:39:01 children which tithing is supposed to do
01:39:04 so I see a lot of support for it but
01:39:06 it’s not something I’ve put a lot of
01:39:07 time into prove out that theory So
01:39:09 currently it’s a theory but it’s a
01:39:11 theory that I’m comfortable
01:39:13 sharing uh while record it oh

01:39:19 anyways um back to the Ten Commandments
01:39:23 there a split a five of five and there’s
01:39:25 a lot of levels there’s three levels to
01:39:28 this and I don’t know them off all on

01:40:27 completely makes sense to me there’s he
01:40:29 he brings out three dimensions that go
01:40:32 into this um and I don’t want to spend

01:40:35 but the reason I bring that out is to on
01:40:39 it goes with the virgins
01:40:41 it’s five that were wise and five that
01:40:45 were foolish
01:40:48 right I find that interesting five and
01:40:51 five okay okay another thing that’s
01:40:55 interesting that makes me believe the 10
01:40:57 virgins are the Ten Commandments is in
01:41:00 the sermon of the mount what happens to
01:41:03 those who don’t keep the Commandments
01:41:05 according to the sermon of the
01:41:08 mount I don’t remember I my head there’s
01:41:11 a lot of things I guess but the one that
01:41:13 I’m specifically looking for they’re
01:41:14 told is I either I don’t know you or you
01:41:17 don’t know me you don’t know me okay
01:41:19 depending on what happens in the 10
01:41:21 virgins
01:41:23 same thing I I don’t know you I don’t
01:41:26 know you that’s another thing that to
01:41:29 the Commandments now here’s another
01:41:30 thing that to not ties it to the
01:41:32 Commandments in my
01:41:34 opinion is that in in the last days the
01:41:38 mark of the beast now I I know there’s a
01:41:41 lot of theories about where the mark of
01:41:42 the beast is okay but I believe it is
01:41:45 false worship and I believe the
01:41:47 scriptures support that in fact the the
01:41:50 true
01:41:51 Sabbath is called called what in the
01:41:54 scriptures it’s called a
01:41:57 sign and sign in Hebrew and the mark in
01:42:02 Greek in the Book of Revelations are
01:42:04 very related to us related to each other
01:42:08 they’re pretty much the same thing
01:42:09 because
01:42:11 What’s um the mark of the beast is the
01:42:14 mind and the mind is what you think
01:42:16 about and what and what you do is what
01:42:19 your hand and part of the reason that
01:42:21 there’s two marks the mind and the hand
01:42:24 is because some are really going to
01:42:26 believe it and think about it right and
01:42:29 others are just going to do it which is
01:42:32 their hand because they just want to get
01:42:34 along with life they don’t want to make
01:42:35 a big fuss just go along with what the
01:42:37 world
01:42:38 teaches
01:42:40 right hold on one minute oh um and
01:42:44 that’s why it’s in two places on the
01:42:46 forehead and then the hand and in
01:42:51 Torah there’s two places that represent
01:42:55 the Commandments it’s the mind because
01:42:57 of what you think about and the hand
01:42:59 because of what you do right and it’s in
01:43:02 Torah that it’s both and in fact
01:43:05 Orthodox Jews take this a little too far
01:43:08 because they put the Black Box on their
01:43:10 head
01:43:11 right and they actually wrap around
01:43:15 their it starts at the hand and wrap
01:43:17 around down and that’s taking it too far
01:43:18 and I’ll be honest with you there was a
01:43:21 time I was actually going to go by the
01:43:23 those things until God woke me up and
01:43:25 showed me some resources that that
01:43:28 that’s just symbolic and that’s yeah
01:43:31 that is recent reinal Judaism that does
01:43:36 that it there is no historical support
01:43:38 for that
01:43:40 historically and also when you look at
01:43:43 the in the same verses it talks about
01:43:45 how having the Commandments written upon
01:43:47 your heart that’s not literal right yeah
01:43:51 we’re not supposed to have a doctor cut
01:43:53 her chest open rip it open somehow
01:43:57 inscribe on our heart so it’s very
01:43:59 symbolic and I and I believe if you look
01:44:02 at the rest of the context of the verses
01:44:04 it really supports it symbolic but

01:46:21 commanded to do

01:46:26 worship and also mosiah right here

01:47:02 when you look at what they wanted to do
01:47:03 is the
01:47:06 worship service is synomous was
01:47:11 worship and if you don’t worship God you
01:47:14 don’t know
01:47:16 him and the five that most don’t
01:47:20 do worship
01:47:24 and what is the the five basically you
01:47:27 know the F because there’s the five
01:47:28 about the authority and the five about
01:47:31 the
01:47:32 peers the five about the authority is
01:47:35 about
01:47:36 worship
01:47:38 primarily and that’s what people don’t
01:47:41 do and that’s what we’re
01:47:43 told is what we need to do to know
01:47:47 him they’re not doing it interesting no

02:09:45 it was easier because he add all the
02:09:47 punctuations into it and he bragged yeah
02:09:51 yeah he took he instead of looking at

02:09:54 manuscript he looked at the Bible
02:09:57 because it was easier and that’s part of
02:09:59 the reasons
02:10:01 well some people claim some of the
02:10:05 problems you know book of Mor copying
02:10:09 the King James version Bible Well I mean
02:10:12 there’s the answer and I’m not just
02:10:14 saying that um
02:10:16 scowen you know with the book that we
02:10:18 both have he did a lot of research right
02:10:21 and he has talks that talk it that bring
02:10:23 that out
02:10:25 that the printer copies straight from
02:10:28 the Bible instead of the manuscripts and

02:10:35 yeah you don’t find it in the uh copy

02:10:40 printer we’ve only got like
02:10:43 a uh it’s diverted from the from the
02:10:48 original end the printers manuscript um

02:10:57 it’s crazy people even in today’s
02:11:00 society with more money more resources
02:11:03 and better off we still print books with
02:11:05 erors even with the better technology

02:11:15 errors now I honestly believe that the
02:11:19 reason they had a printer’s manuscript
02:11:22 is because Joseph Smith was worried

02:11:31 when um uh I’m forgetting who the Scribe
02:11:36 was
02:11:37 sorry but when the Scribe copied from
02:11:40 the original to the printers he made
02:11:42 mistakes and you can

02:11:51 details there’s answers for a lot of
02:11:52 these things that people throw out but
02:11:55 when people don’t put in the
02:11:56 study they get
02:11:59 deceived so I H I have a I’m trying to
