Summary:
Showed and talked about the High Holiday Calendar I did by hand. Also talked about various calendar issues such as why plants should not be used to determine the start of the year. Talked about sunrise vs dawn, along with sundials. Went over examples in the Book of Mormon showing the start of the day is sunrise. Also expanded manna in the wilderness shows the same thing.

00:00:02 recording in progress that always sounds
00:00:04 funny but anyways all right so let me
00:00:05 share my screen
00:00:07 um
00:00:09 so
00:00:11 okay that looks uh that looks pretty
00:00:12 good so um
00:00:15 yesterday
00:00:17 i
00:00:18 you know i’ve been thinking about doing
00:00:19 this for a while but i’ve been
00:00:21 putting it off
00:00:23 because it’s a bit of work but someone
00:00:25 yesterday asked me when are you doing
00:00:27 your holidays
00:00:28 and i’m like all right i’ll do passover
00:00:31 and 11 and first fruits for you because
00:00:33 that’s not too much work but then i
00:00:34 started doing i’m like i might as well
00:00:36 just do them all
00:00:38 because i
00:00:39 i did this all by hand
00:00:41 now
00:00:42 a lot of this
00:00:44 is going off of research that i’ve done
00:00:46 the last
00:00:49 uh
00:00:50 maybe six
00:00:52 nine months or so
00:00:54 this last year
00:00:56 what kind of made me
00:00:58 dig more into it is how um
00:01:03 most people when they started their
00:01:05 hebrew year
00:01:06 or their lunar solar year they started a
00:01:09 moon earlier than i did
00:01:13 and that’s because of the
00:01:15 tamariki
00:01:17 or i’m probably saying that wrong but
00:01:19 the the talmud tradition
00:01:22 that
00:01:23 the new year starts
00:01:26 around
00:01:28 and possibly even before
00:01:31 the
00:01:32 spring equinox
00:01:34 and they go along the lines of that it
00:01:38 passover needs to be
00:01:41 close
00:01:44 but after the
00:01:46 spring equinox i don’t remember the
00:01:48 exact rule but anyways
00:01:50 but they calculated
00:01:52 when
00:01:54 the new moon would be and
00:01:57 uh the spring equinox and then use that
00:02:00 to
00:02:02 determine
00:02:03 um
00:02:05 when
00:02:06 their new moon was going to be or their
00:02:08 first moon of the year was going to be
00:02:11 so
00:02:12 um here i am i calculated right i
00:02:15 it’s not necessarily calculation is the
00:02:17 problem because i
00:02:19 i believe that the agents use the
00:02:24 the the
00:02:25 dark moon conjunction for the new moon
00:02:28 and i’ve come across two articles that
00:02:30 shows how you can um calculate that
00:02:32 without using a computer like today uh
00:02:35 and they were eating what is that
00:02:38 when you do the
00:02:39 conjunction does that include two
00:02:41 planets is that saturn and a different
00:02:44 one or
00:02:44 oh
00:02:46 conjunction uh it’s the sun and the moon
00:02:50 the sun in the moon is a conjunction
00:02:52 well it’s this conjunction i’m talking
00:02:54 about for this
00:02:56 because i guess conjunction is a
00:02:59 general word right because you can have
00:03:01 conjunctions of other planets like the
00:03:04 all the planets alignments right in fact
00:03:07 right um i i actually have a couple of
00:03:10 theories where that expression came from
00:03:12 um one is like this subject that we’re
00:03:14 talking about here the the lunar solar
00:03:16 calendar the alignments of the sun and
00:03:20 the moon
00:03:21 um
00:03:23 sign
00:03:24 is a sign of something aka
00:03:27 new moon
00:03:29 it’s a sign of new moon which is a big
00:03:31 deal um
00:03:33 and then the full one on the opposite
00:03:35 side um
00:03:37 corresponds with the full moon right the
00:03:40 15th of the moon
00:03:43 and that’s a big one also um but that’s
00:03:46 all especially in witchcraft and some of
00:03:48 these other
00:03:49 um pagan religions
00:03:51 um but some pagan religions even do
00:03:53 stuff on new moon day which is not as
00:03:56 popular that i’m aware of full moon day
00:03:59 is a bigger one
00:04:00 um which i mean
00:04:03 the atonement right but anyways
00:04:06 um yeah there’s even traditions with the
00:04:08 jews like um
00:04:10 like at passover
00:04:12 um they mentioned how the sabbath after
00:04:15 the passover was a
00:04:17 high sabbath
00:04:19 uh there are some theories on that
00:04:22 expression that it actually means the
00:04:24 second
00:04:25 sabbath
00:04:26 of
00:04:28 the moon because it was the full or high
00:04:32 it was
00:04:33 um because it was
00:04:36 around the time of the full moon um so
00:04:38 there’s even some hebrew traditions how
00:04:40 it’s kind of a big deal and
00:04:43 i i mean this is bad but there’s also
00:04:45 some traditions that some hebrews only
00:04:48 came on the high sabbath aka the 15th of
00:04:51 the moon because it was the full moon
00:04:53 instead of coming every sabbath right
00:04:55 which what you should be doing they only
00:04:58 came down the high sabbaths which are
00:04:59 the 15th but anyways that’s just some
00:05:02 general interesting tidbits of stuff
00:05:05 that i’ve run across and
00:05:07 calendar research
00:05:09 issues
00:05:10 anyways
00:05:11 so
00:05:12 this other group will go off of
00:05:15 you know
00:05:16 they did it a moon early
00:05:18 and they go off of
00:05:19 barley and barley is a whole nother can
00:05:22 of worms
00:05:23 which we can get into but
00:05:26 what barley
00:05:27 and barley location because different
00:05:29 barleys and even the same barley in
00:05:31 different
00:05:34 latitudes
00:05:36 will ripen at different times
00:05:40 so
00:05:41 that going off the barley which is
00:05:44 against genesis 114 that’s a big one for
00:05:48 lunar solar
00:05:49 [Music]
00:05:51 people you know because the signs in the
00:05:52 heaven the sun and the moon
00:05:55 um
00:05:56 nowhere does it say plants
00:05:58 in fact
00:06:00 um
00:06:01 noah
00:06:02 as far as i know
00:06:04 didn’t grow plants
00:06:06 and the reason i bring that on the ark
00:06:08 because the he was on the ark more than
00:06:10 a year so how did he know when to start
00:06:12 the year if it’s based off of plants
00:06:16 he couldn’t have
00:06:19 right
00:06:20 and then also
00:06:22 he was they were all over the place they
00:06:24 weren’t growing anything
00:06:25 yeah they were supposed to get um
00:06:28 build up stock um yeah so anyways
00:06:32 as far as i know
00:06:33 he wasn’t growing plants so how did he
00:06:35 know when the new year is
00:06:37 on top of that
00:06:38 um
00:06:40 in the tanakh and in the book of mormon
00:06:43 there are times where they have famines
00:06:46 famines means uh the plants are going
00:06:48 aren’t getting to the maturity so how
00:06:51 could they use if
00:06:53 the plants weren’t getting to maturity
00:06:54 during the famines which is a famine you
00:06:56 know especially
00:06:58 how did they know when the new year was
00:07:01 right he didn’t right
00:07:02 because that’s not what it was off of
00:07:04 this
00:07:05 stuff is a later
00:07:07 false tradition that
00:07:11 got pushed in after this second temple
00:07:13 got destroyed because a lot of the
00:07:14 records that talked about how this stuff
00:07:16 was
00:07:17 done got destroyed
00:07:19 and so the
00:07:21 the two
00:07:22 major sects at the time the pharisees
00:07:24 and the sadducees thought about how this
00:07:27 should be done
00:07:28 and then
00:07:29 the sadducees kind of died out and the
00:07:31 pharisees took over and that’s where all
00:07:33 these traditions came from
00:07:35 um
00:07:36 that people followed anyways
00:07:38 you can’t do plants because um
00:07:41 famines and famines means the plants
00:07:43 don’t get to
00:07:44 write maturity which
00:07:47 is needed to determine the new year
00:07:49 right so
00:07:51 on top of that
00:07:52 the exodus
00:07:54 in in the bible right
00:07:56 um
00:07:57 god destroyed the barley
00:08:00 so
00:08:01 they couldn’t used it to determine when
00:08:04 the new year was because god destroyed
00:08:05 it
00:08:06 in the exodus
00:08:10 but some people talk that one away
00:08:12 because well god just told them what it
00:08:13 was at that time so but um so god has a
00:08:16 different pattern for different times i
00:08:18 i don’t think so
00:08:20 it’s the lights in the heavens
00:08:22 so
00:08:23 um
00:08:24 that’s why i go by the spring equinox
00:08:27 because that that’s a sign and that’s
00:08:29 something you can determine just for
00:08:30 sticks
00:08:31 uh some sundials actually have the
00:08:34 um
00:08:36 information on them that you can use the
00:08:37 shadows to know when the equinox is off
00:08:39 of the um
00:08:41 the sundial most of them don’t because
00:08:43 most of them were more simple just to
00:08:45 stick in the line for the hours
00:08:48 but the the length will also tell you
00:08:50 the season but most of them don’t do
00:08:52 that um because
00:08:54 shadow length is different at different
00:08:57 times of the year
00:08:58 yeah
00:09:00 another little interesting tidbit that
00:09:01 most people never know
00:09:05 studies but anyways
00:09:07 um
00:09:08 so i
00:09:09 off all these studies
00:09:11 in fact sundial was a big one for me in
00:09:15 determining the calendar
00:09:17 and the big reason that one’s a big deal
00:09:20 is
00:09:20 because uh like a lot of the people like
00:09:23 the channel that you that we both like
00:09:25 about the lure solar they do dawn
00:09:27 because the world’s last chance does
00:09:29 dawn
00:09:31 and they don’t really give scriptures
00:09:33 for i’ve looked their sight and they say
00:09:35 there’s tons of scriptures that say dawn
00:09:36 there’s not
00:09:38 um but anyways
00:09:41 and the one that they do have it doesn’t
00:09:43 say that that’s how they’re interpreting
00:09:45 it but
00:09:46 um i’ve watched
00:09:49 recordings of sunrise and sunsets with
00:09:51 time before and time after and i’ve made
00:09:54 my own with my gopro
00:09:56 with
00:09:58 where you know it takes a time lapse you
00:09:59 do a picture i do it every two seconds
00:10:03 um just so that way one hour turns into
00:10:05 one minute in the video um because you
00:10:07 know the 30
00:10:09 frames per second but anyways
00:10:11 um
00:10:13 you can’t tell by the naked eye
00:10:16 when dawn is
00:10:20 yeah the exact moment of dawn yeah i can
00:10:23 agree yeah
00:10:24 and
00:10:25 these people that push dawn i’ve asked
00:10:27 them so how do you determine dawn
00:10:28 without a computer
00:10:31 no no one can answer me no one yeah
00:10:34 yeah
00:10:35 i i
00:10:36 they didn’t i found nothing that shows
00:10:39 the ancients did anything by dawn i have
00:10:41 found that they did stuff by sunrise
00:10:44 including sundials
00:10:47 which are
00:10:48 used
00:10:49 in the tanakh
00:10:51 and at the dead sea scroll location
00:10:54 for keeping track of time and sundials
00:10:57 only work after the sunrise
00:11:00 because before the sunrise all you have
00:11:02 is um dispersed light it’s not direct
00:11:05 sunlight it’s just the light that’s
00:11:07 bouncing around all over and because of
00:11:09 that you don’t get shadows
00:11:10 to then
00:11:12 measure your hours um
00:11:15 it’s the direct sunlight after sunrise
00:11:18 that you can then
00:11:19 start
00:11:20 measuring your hours like in the tanakh
00:11:23 i forget
00:11:24 is it first or second keynes or first
00:11:26 second samuel that talks about the the
00:11:28 sundial that went backwards right
00:11:32 oh yeah yeah
00:11:34 that’s an example
00:11:36 in the tanakh them using a sundial to
00:11:39 keep track of the day
00:11:42 um
00:11:43 and so anyways
00:11:45 uh
00:11:46 but god put on my heart to start
00:11:47 studying sundials and i didn’t quite put
00:11:49 it all together yet but
00:11:52 sundials is a big deal
00:11:54 um how you measured the hours um
00:11:57 and i’ve learned a bit like i showed you
00:11:59 because the length of the shadow can
00:12:01 help you determine
00:12:02 the season that you’re in um
00:12:05 if
00:12:06 you mark that out but anyways in fact
00:12:09 the the
00:12:11 uh
00:12:12 i forget the name of the figure but
00:12:13 there’s kind of like a distorted figure
00:12:15 eight that goes along with um
00:12:18 these shadows
00:12:19 that go with the sundials and it’s
00:12:21 because hello hello oh can you hear me
00:12:25 hello uh oh um there you are there you
00:12:28 are oh okay maybe internet problems
00:12:31 yeah i’m thinking might have been hey
00:12:32 rob will you stop dancing around please
00:12:35 so
00:12:36 um
00:12:37 i don’t know if there there’s a
00:12:38 distorted figure eight that goes along
00:12:40 with sundials and um and watching the
00:12:45 the sun
00:12:46 and it has to do because uh the sun
00:12:49 doesn’t i mean the earth doesn’t go
00:12:51 around the sun in a circle it goes
00:12:52 around the center in ellipsis and that’s
00:12:55 where it comes from but anyways
00:12:57 it’s it’s not a a
00:12:59 infinity figure it’s a distorted one
00:13:02 because
00:13:03 generally the way they display the one
00:13:04 on the left is
00:13:06 smaller but anyways that’s a whole other
00:13:11 bit of this
00:13:13 wonderful research um so anyways what i
00:13:15 did here i did this by hand the other
00:13:17 day
00:13:18 because someone was asking me
00:13:20 when i’m gonna do my high holidays and
00:13:22 i’m like oh
00:13:24 i’d have to do it by hand so i’ll just
00:13:25 do passover unleavened and first fruits
00:13:28 for you but then i just decided i’m just
00:13:29 gonna do it for them all and it it
00:13:31 actually
00:13:32 this sounds lame
00:13:34 but this took me hours to do literally
00:13:38 it did it probably took some time to
00:13:39 figure
00:13:40 to go and get those dates and put them
00:13:42 on
00:13:43 to go go get the times and then
00:13:45 converting them and then
00:13:46 making sure tracking it
00:13:49 anyways
00:13:50 and then on top of that figuring how to
00:13:52 make it look nice on the website
00:13:56 yeah definitely yeah
00:13:58 [Laughter]
00:14:00 i i think i did okay i i mean
00:14:03 interface
00:14:05 way things learned aren’t
00:14:07 my specialty i’m more into getting
00:14:09 things to work and be accurate than the
00:14:11 way they look anyways
00:14:12 so i i have a lot of information here
00:14:14 and i added colors to try to
00:14:17 pinpoint the hot high holidays make them
00:14:19 stick out because with putting the
00:14:21 equinox and the moons and the sunrises
00:14:24 in it kind of
00:14:26 um
00:14:28 make it look kind of like noisy right a
00:14:31 lot of information
00:14:32 but i wanted it there so people could
00:14:34 see
00:14:35 exactly
00:14:37 why i’m saying what it is right so
00:14:39 that’s why i have the equinox the first
00:14:41 new moon and the first sunrise
00:14:43 and then
00:14:44 what’s the meaning between the first new
00:14:46 moon and then skips down to the fourth
00:14:47 moon
00:14:48 uh there’s no high holidays
00:14:52 in between there there’s no high
00:14:53 holidays yeah there’s high holidays in
00:14:55 the first moon and the fourth moon there
00:14:58 isn’t any in
00:15:00 the second and the third and
00:15:02 i i wasn’t going to clutter up with um
00:15:06 first moon and sunrise when it didn’t
00:15:09 help with the high holidays
00:15:11 yeah it might that might be good to put
00:15:13 in your explanation so if somebody’s
00:15:14 reading it down uh yeah i guess that’s a
00:15:16 good point i could add that like right
00:15:18 here to this
00:15:19 paragraph where you know i’m just
00:15:21 stating the day starts sunrise the moon
00:15:24 which is not a spell
00:15:27 air it’s actually
00:15:29 uh it’s correct move is because what
00:15:32 moon of the year are you in
00:15:34 which then got shortened to month uh
00:15:37 especially later when we got divorced
00:15:39 from the moon um but anyways so that’s
00:15:43 not a misspelling
00:15:44 it’s actually correct
00:15:46 it’s just not very well known because
00:15:47 people don’t track the moon anymore
00:15:52 the only thing that i think people
00:15:54 the general public only uses it for now
00:15:56 is easter because easter’s still
00:15:58 calculated off of that
00:16:00 uh hey gerald no no
00:16:03 hold on i’m gonna pause one second don’t
00:16:06 don’t
00:16:07 i’ll be right back okay no problem
00:16:29 okay i’m back you there
00:16:33 yep i’m here okay all right okay
00:16:35 um
00:16:36 [Music]
00:16:37 let me see how to resume again i always
00:16:53 oh no i just shared pause the screen
00:16:56 sharing
00:16:57 oh
00:16:59 oops yeah your recording was still going
00:17:01 [Laughter]
00:17:03 did you see my little one naked
00:17:05 no i did not
00:17:06 wait no oh i’ll have to check the video
00:17:09 you might have to double check make sure
00:17:10 it didn’t get in there yeah
00:17:12 my three-year-old came out naked and i
00:17:14 didn’t
00:17:15 i don’t want that in the video
00:17:18 okay all right anyways okay
00:17:21 um
00:17:22 yeah i’ll have to add a little
00:17:23 explanation to that up there because
00:17:26 yeah i guess it could be a little
00:17:27 confusing and especially for somebody
00:17:29 like me
00:17:30 yeah i just it was just extra noise and
00:17:34 and really the the the girl i did it
00:17:37 actually put it up there for because she
00:17:39 asked for she’s like can you put the
00:17:41 lunar sabbath up there too i’m like uh
00:17:44 no because that’s a lot of information
00:17:46 just come talk to me every move and i’ll
00:17:49 tell you it’s just
00:17:51 that that would be 60 entries right no
00:17:54 well 48
00:17:56 for each lunar sabbath right and i guess
00:17:58 and then the new moons and it just it
00:18:01 wouldn’t make it
00:18:02 too big for this so i didn’t want to do
00:18:05 that but anyways
00:18:07 um so that’s why i go first and then
00:18:09 fourth
00:18:10 because there’s a high holiday in the
00:18:12 fourth
00:18:13 okay
00:18:14 pentecost
00:18:15 on
00:18:16 oh
00:18:17 in pentecost there’s there’s a couple
00:18:19 contra or controversies with that one
00:18:23 um most people think it’s in the third
00:18:25 moon and not the fourth because they
00:18:28 think there’s only one
00:18:30 counting
00:18:31 but there’s two counting so most people
00:18:33 think there’s only one count of 50 days
00:18:37 but if you’re how does that 50 days can
00:18:38 you explain it’s 50 days to me i see
00:18:40 that and i don’t understand what they
00:18:41 mean by 50 days
00:18:43 no
00:18:45 um
00:18:46 hold on the little one came back
00:18:49 okay
00:18:50 um
00:18:52 okay
00:18:54 okay so the 50 days
00:18:57 is um
00:19:00 you’re supposed to count 50 days after
00:19:02 the seven weeks but the
00:19:05 most people take the seven weeks and the
00:19:07 50 days to be the same thing because 7
00:19:09 times 7 is 49 and you get it’s right
00:19:12 next to 50. right
00:19:14 so it’s there they are a different
00:19:16 number but people make justifications
00:19:19 but the problem with one count of 50
00:19:22 days
00:19:23 is
00:19:24 there
00:19:26 you don’t get
00:19:28 pentecost
00:19:29 at the time moses came down
00:19:32 now when moses came down that’s when
00:19:34 pentecost was in fact aaron stated that
00:19:37 they’re going to do
00:19:39 a feast
00:19:41 aaron when he was in charge and the
00:19:43 people you know did bad stuff
00:19:47 they chose
00:19:48 the day
00:19:49 to worship on the day that was appointed
00:19:52 but then they did false worship on it
00:19:54 because they uh
00:19:56 started worshiping the golden calf right
00:20:00 the golden bull which interestingly
00:20:02 enough bull is is symbolic of satan so
00:20:06 they were
00:20:07 worshiping satan and they were saying
00:20:10 that this is the god that took us out
00:20:12 right anyway
00:20:14 that would be
00:20:15 pretty bad well no you go look through
00:20:18 the the bowl represents
00:20:21 satan with the horns and in egypt and
00:20:23 the the circle anyways
00:20:28 actually um
00:20:29 if you want a good show for your your
00:20:31 little one that i is
00:20:35 pretty much teaches the gospel i mean
00:20:37 it’s
00:20:38 a little off just because the medium
00:20:40 it’s using but the book of life have you
00:20:42 seen that
00:20:45 is it a cartoon the book of life uh it’s
00:20:48 a cartoon movie um
00:20:51 it’s a good one it’s it’s
00:20:53 placed in mexico
00:20:58 it’s good though i would recommend it um
00:21:00 book of life yeah the book of life but
00:21:02 it the the good guy who represents um
00:21:06 jesus in that video
00:21:08 he has to
00:21:10 get rid of the bull which represents
00:21:12 satan so anyways it
00:21:14 people who know the symbolism put it in
00:21:16 their movies um
00:21:18 and that
00:21:20 the book of life is a real good one i
00:21:22 actually i like that one
00:21:24 um especially for kids i even like it
00:21:26 myself anyway okay sounds good
00:21:30 remember
00:21:31 just as a
00:21:32 recommendation because it uses the
00:21:34 symbolism of bowl correctly as part like
00:21:37 what i’m bringing out
00:21:38 just fyi just before he if the
00:21:41 star go or the good star goes through
00:21:44 the sword comes down
00:21:47 on someone else who’s trying to go
00:21:49 go back
00:21:50 before he does and he says you’re not
00:21:52 worthy there’s only one that’s worthy
00:21:55 to break the bonds
00:21:57 right because he was sinless
00:22:00 anyways
00:22:01 if you watch carefully you’ll see tons
00:22:03 of parallels good parallels not bad
00:22:05 powers like gnostic movies
00:22:09 so most back to the main point sorry
00:22:13 most people do pentecost too early
00:22:17 they do it about seven weeks too early
00:22:20 and so that puts them in the third moon
00:22:23 which puts them before moses came down
00:22:27 so the israelites they were doing the
00:22:29 high holidays before it’s just moses was
00:22:31 restoring them moses was a restorer
00:22:34 oh yeah
00:22:36 in fact i know
00:22:38 three verses
00:22:39 in the book of mormon that states that
00:22:41 adam kept torah
00:22:44 um but anyways
00:22:46 um taurus from the beginning
00:22:49 and it’s here to stay
00:22:50 um yeah yeah it’s here to stay yeah
00:22:54 anyways okay
00:22:55 so
00:22:56 that’s pentecost for you oh oh yeah and
00:22:58 then there’s some
00:23:01 traditions
00:23:02 uh that talk about how pentecost is a
00:23:04 three-day event and not just a one-day
00:23:07 event
00:23:10 and so i actually see that in the book
00:23:12 of mormon if you read my
00:23:16 um holy ghost holy
00:23:18 spirit post
00:23:20 i don’t know if you’ve read that one but
00:23:21 i bring up some of that
00:23:23 in that post
00:23:26 um
00:23:27 i’ll give you the link to it
00:23:29 if you want to go take a link a look
00:23:32 um
00:23:40 um
00:23:41 let’s see
00:23:42 where’s the chat
00:23:50 um there you go but in there i give some
00:23:52 references to that um there’s probably
00:23:55 more
00:23:56 but um
00:23:59 13 by 11 is pentecost
00:24:03 nephi 11 yeah 35 11 yeah
00:24:07 there’s a lot of parallels to that um
00:24:10 for one
00:24:12 the law right that’s when moses brought
00:24:14 the law
00:24:15 um christ is expounding the law um
00:24:18 sermon on the mount happened at
00:24:20 pentecost
00:24:22 um
00:24:24 did you realize that yeah well
00:24:27 anyways as you said a lot of people
00:24:29 don’t talk about christians they don’t
00:24:31 know this stuff because they think it’s
00:24:33 all nailed to the cross um
00:24:36 and not too many hebrew rooters bring
00:24:38 this out that i’m aware of it’s
00:24:40 something that when you start knowing
00:24:42 the general
00:24:44 trends of the high holidays you’ll
00:24:49 start noticing that in the scriptures
00:24:52 um
00:24:54 i i put some on my high holiday page
00:24:56 when i come across it and i remember to
00:24:58 put it on there um but yeah
00:25:02 the more you study the more you’ll start
00:25:03 noticing this stuff um or you’ll get it
00:25:05 from people like me that’ll
00:25:08 um mention it here and there and you’ll
00:25:10 know
00:25:11 okay
00:25:12 then you’ll go read it and you’ll start
00:25:14 seeing the connections um but it’s all
00:25:16 about the law that’s when the law was
00:25:17 given right
00:25:19 um
00:25:20 in fact um
00:25:24 when
00:25:25 he’s talking to the people his face is
00:25:27 glowing like moses
00:25:29 moses uh abinadi’s talk was during
00:25:31 pentecost also just fyi you’ll see
00:25:34 parallels with that also
00:25:36 okay um
00:25:38 and i think that i have that on this
00:25:40 here lower down in fact let me let’s
00:25:42 check
00:25:44 uh yeah there we go there’s a benedi
00:25:47 right there
00:25:48 um so
00:25:50 okay
00:25:52 um
00:25:54 all right so
00:25:56 i then skip a couple
00:25:58 because oh seventh month right because
00:26:00 that’s the next set of high holidays
00:26:03 um trumpets which i have silver uh to
00:26:06 deal with um silver has to do with
00:26:08 judgment and you know that’s a warning
00:26:10 so that we don’t get judged
00:26:12 um
00:26:14 a day of atonement
00:26:15 oh an interesting thing all these start
00:26:17 at sunrise
00:26:19 uh these times these are the times of
00:26:21 sunrise in the particular
00:26:23 am i talking too loud
00:26:26 i’ll try to talk more quiet
00:26:30 can you hear me
00:26:32 yes
00:26:33 okay
00:26:34 um so these times are the sunrise and
00:26:36 the
00:26:37 time and the calm that it’s in um
00:26:41 just start it in the sunrise in your
00:26:42 local area i guess i don’t know do what
00:26:44 you want on that
00:26:47 back my app
00:26:49 when i finish it i’ll have the section
00:26:50 of the conical ones and then your local
00:26:53 ones so that way you can start your days
00:26:55 with the local but anyways just another
00:26:58 little interesting tidbit
00:27:00 so these are sunrise and they’re all
00:27:02 sunrise except for atonement
00:27:05 because atoma is from evening to evening
00:27:09 um
00:27:09 aka
00:27:10 sunset to sunset
00:27:12 um
00:27:13 and it sounds like we’ll probably talk
00:27:15 about that some more after this little
00:27:18 intro here because you want to talk
00:27:20 about um
00:27:22 when does the day actually start right
00:27:24 because that’s um
00:27:27 most believe night uh going off orthodox
00:27:30 traditions from the talmud
00:27:33 [Music]
00:27:36 but scriptures bible and book of mormon
00:27:39 show mourning and we can go over both
00:27:42 [Music]
00:27:43 so after the seventh moon the next
00:27:46 holiday that i have um it’s not a high
00:27:49 holiday and it’s not a commandment one
00:27:51 but it is one i do
00:27:53 but not like
00:27:55 the jews
00:27:56 um hold on my little one just came out
00:27:59 one second
00:28:03 so if you can’t hear me tell me because
00:28:05 i’m gonna try to talk apply it
00:28:07 um
00:28:09 so hanukkah is not a commanded one but i
00:28:11 do keep it
00:28:12 um i don’t do one candle then two
00:28:15 candles and three candles because that’s
00:28:17 a
00:28:18 that miracle did not happen
00:28:21 um
00:28:22 i just do seven candles every day um
00:28:25 go along with hanukkah um
00:28:28 and i do believe jesus uh did hanukkah
00:28:31 in the new testament
00:28:32 so i’ll do it too i just i don’t
00:28:35 the more i learn the less i try to get
00:28:37 or
00:28:38 do false traditions of men and the one
00:28:41 two three four five six seven eight
00:28:43 candles
00:28:44 um
00:28:45 is a false tradition but anyways enough
00:28:47 of that
00:28:49 so
00:28:50 but yes i’ll add a note
00:28:52 here
00:28:53 of why i don’t have every moon um hold
00:28:56 on my little one’s back again one second
00:29:00 ready
00:29:03 okay so
00:29:04 that’s
00:29:05 probably pretty good on that unless you
00:29:07 have some questions and i i think that’s
00:29:09 some good feedback at adding in the
00:29:12 description why i don’t have every moon
00:29:15 yeah just to help
00:29:17 um but i did want to
00:29:19 have all the data there so people can
00:29:21 see
00:29:22 why i have the days i have and that’s
00:29:24 why i have equinox moons and sunrises
00:29:27 so people can see the actual data
00:29:29 um
00:29:31 so but anyways did you have any
00:29:33 questions on any of that
00:29:35 nope looks pretty spelled out to me
00:29:37 okay all right so do you want to talk
00:29:40 about when the new day starts now yep i
00:29:42 would like to see that in scripture
00:29:44 okay
00:29:45 all right
00:29:46 so
00:29:51 i mean we can just go off the scriptures
00:29:53 or we can go off some articles i have
00:29:55 here
00:29:56 if you want
00:29:58 um
00:29:59 you want to go off of
00:30:00 bible or book of mormon or both then
00:30:02 which one you want to do first i’d like
00:30:04 to see it in both okay which one you
00:30:06 want to do first
00:30:07 let’s do
00:30:09 bookmormon
00:30:12 okay all right so we’re going to get
00:30:15 my post
00:30:18 um i wrote a post
00:30:21 um
00:30:22 on this so
00:30:24 first
00:30:26 i came across i think some videos and
00:30:28 then some articles that showed how the
00:30:31 bible actually teaches
00:30:33 the morning
00:30:35 but
00:30:36 i i still
00:30:38 wasn’t sure how to
00:30:39 answer
00:30:41 some questions um particularly about the
00:30:44 the day of atonement once that’s the
00:30:47 text that gets proof text to say the
00:30:49 evening
00:30:51 but anyways
00:30:53 and then after i came to believe
00:30:57 morning and started doing it i then you
00:30:59 know studying the book of mormon
00:31:01 continually
00:31:02 i then saw in the book of mormon in
00:31:05 a couple places okay just normal reading
00:31:09 and then when i decided to write this
00:31:11 post
00:31:12 i
00:31:13 searched
00:31:14 for other examples okay
00:31:17 so initially i just
00:31:19 saw it by accident because i
00:31:21 because when you’re aware of something
00:31:23 you start seeing it right right right
00:31:25 right so just my normal study i saw it
00:31:28 like oh i know what that says that says
00:31:30 morning um
00:31:34 and then i found another one and then i
00:31:36 decided to write this post
00:31:39 which actually sadly i had a lot of
00:31:42 people who
00:31:43 are kind of hebrew rooters type of
00:31:46 genre like i am i mean i’m a nazarene
00:31:48 but i do read
00:31:50 and follow some hebrew roots stuff
00:31:52 because i do believe it’s important
00:31:54 and some of these guys did also but they
00:31:56 believed evening and they’re like
00:31:59 told me you better not do that book of
00:32:01 mormon post because god told me evening
00:32:03 i’m like uh
00:32:05 i don’t believe that he did and
00:32:07 the bible and book of mormon shows
00:32:09 morning and so i did this post and they
00:32:10 got really mad at me and sent me some
00:32:12 nasty emails
00:32:15 which is sad because they claim to
00:32:17 believe the book of mormon but they
00:32:18 won’t believe the book of mormon
00:32:20 when something’s actually brought out
00:32:22 what it says that goes against their
00:32:23 false traditions
00:32:25 and
00:32:26 um
00:32:27 there’s a verse i think it’s in second
00:32:30 nephi
00:32:32 three or four that’s
00:32:34 it’s been real important to me from the
00:32:36 beginning i can go get the exact first
00:32:37 if you want but it basically says
00:32:40 um to
00:32:43 go by the bible and the book of mormon
00:32:46 um
00:32:47 and i have recently found one in the
00:32:49 doctrine covenant says the same thing
00:32:50 it’s by the bible in the book of mormon
00:32:52 to get rid of false traditions
00:32:55 right um
00:32:56 but
00:32:57 so let’s see those things let’s go uh
00:33:00 sure let me
00:33:02 share a different screen and i’ll go get
00:33:04 it for you
00:33:07 um
00:33:12 one note is a handy tool
00:33:22 so oh i had so three i was in the right
00:33:25 general area
00:33:27 uh in fact i even found a chiasm when i
00:33:30 was doing the post i saw a pattern of
00:33:32 chiasm so i made it autism but anyways
00:33:36 so i love kylians i i yeah just
00:33:39 they help
00:33:40 make it more clear
00:33:42 oh yeah sure
00:33:43 repetition
00:33:46 um
00:33:47 so
00:33:48 second episode 312 wherefore the fruit
00:33:50 of the lion shall write book mormon and
00:33:52 the fruit of the loins of judah shall
00:33:54 write bible
00:33:56 and
00:33:57 that which shall be written by the fruit
00:33:59 of violence book of mormon and also
00:34:01 which shall be written by the fruit of
00:34:02 the lines of judah bible shall grow
00:34:05 together and unto confounding of false
00:34:08 doctrines
00:34:10 laying down
00:34:11 of contentions establishing peace
00:34:15 among
00:34:16 fruit of thy loins a man i we could get
00:34:19 sidetracked on just that part right
00:34:20 there
00:34:21 i thought that highlighted confounding
00:34:22 of false doctrines and laying down
00:34:24 contentions and establishing peace among
00:34:26 the fruit of byloins
00:34:28 yeah uh bringing them the knowledge
00:34:31 of their fathers you know abraham isaac
00:34:33 and jacob in the latter days and also to
00:34:36 the knowledge of my covenants which is a
00:34:38 big part of the book of mormon in fact
00:34:40 mormon means covenant
00:34:42 that’s it yeah um wow
00:34:46 so little little yeah we believe in the
00:34:48 book of
00:34:50 covenant
00:34:51 yeah yeah uh i bring that out in my
00:34:54 uh holy spirit holy ghost post in there
00:34:57 okay so that’s another thing from there
00:34:59 but
00:35:00 um
00:35:01 mormon means covenant so some people
00:35:02 think it’s named after mormon no it’s
00:35:04 named after the intention
00:35:07 which is told
00:35:08 in the title page which is you know
00:35:10 about intentions from the gold plates
00:35:14 to bring them to the remembrance of the
00:35:16 covenants right
00:35:18 it’s a book of covenants
00:35:20 that’s what the book of mormon is that
00:35:22 it
00:35:23 means
00:35:26 that they may not cast off forever right
00:35:27 there
00:35:28 is not what you’re talking about uh-huh
00:35:32 the title page tells us the intention of
00:35:34 the book right right
00:35:37 and the attention and the book is named
00:35:39 after its intentions covenant
00:35:42 yeah um
00:35:44 anyways all right um we can go sidetrack
00:35:47 on that more because i we could
00:35:49 sidetrack i’m just establishing peace if
00:35:50 you want but or should we go back to the
00:35:53 calendar stuff
00:35:55 oh i want to see those scriptures that
00:35:56 you that
00:35:58 that go for
00:35:59 the sunrise instead of the evening okay
00:36:02 all right let’s go back to that
00:36:06 okay
00:36:13 okay so
00:36:14 um
00:36:17 oh okay so it looks like mosiah
00:36:20 24 16 through 20 was the first one
00:36:23 that um where i saw this um according to
00:36:26 this and i’m gonna believe myself
00:36:29 because i don’t remember which one is
00:36:30 first
00:36:32 okay um
00:36:34 so
00:36:35 this is after
00:36:37 uh lem hai rai and i think this chapter
00:36:40 is
00:36:42 um
00:36:43 when they all come back together right
00:36:45 the alumni
00:36:46 and the beta knights um
00:36:49 not that they’re called or the
00:36:52 the benadites alma eights right
00:36:55 um because the benedict died
00:36:56 um but these would be the ammites where
00:36:58 they came back together along with the
00:37:01 zoramites right
00:37:04 um because they’re all back in zarahemla
00:37:07 at this point
00:37:09 um
00:37:10 but anyways
00:37:11 uh i’ll just read it unless you want to
00:37:14 read it
00:37:15 well i just read it
00:37:17 and it came to pass that so great was
00:37:19 their faith that their patience that the
00:37:21 voice of the lord came unto him saying
00:37:23 be of good comfort for on tomorrow i
00:37:25 will deliver you out of bondage and he
00:37:27 said unto allah thou shalt go before
00:37:28 this people and i will go with thee and
00:37:30 deliver this people out of bondage now
00:37:32 came to pass it almighty’s people in the
00:37:34 night time gathered their flocks
00:37:36 together and also in their of the grain
00:37:39 yay even all the night time were they
00:37:41 gathering their flocks together
00:37:43 so they they worked at night because in
00:37:45 the morning that’s when he was gonna do
00:37:47 his duty yeah tomorrow tomorrow’s the
00:37:49 next day right right
00:37:52 you know they worked all night and then
00:37:54 19
00:37:55 in the morning
00:37:57 the lord caused the deep sleep to come
00:37:58 in lama nights yeah all their task
00:38:00 masters were in a profound sleep and
00:38:02 alma and his people departed in the
00:38:04 wilderness oh in the morning
00:38:06 so tomorrow is the morning right yeah
00:38:09 yep
00:38:11 um
00:38:13 paraphrase we don’t have to do that
00:38:14 unless you want in fact just reading
00:38:16 that i this actually makes me want to go
00:38:18 redo this but i won’t because i’m too
00:38:20 busy with other things i wonder if
00:38:21 that’s a chiasm right there
00:38:24 um just right now but anyways
00:38:26 that’s another slide
00:38:30 um
00:38:32 oh i see a kaizen in those verses why
00:38:34 didn’t i put it
00:38:35 anyways all right so maybe i wasn’t as
00:38:37 good as putting them like i am now
00:38:41 um okay and then i’m like okay before
00:38:43 you go i knew it the book this proves
00:38:45 the book more than false
00:38:47 right because it’s contradicting the
00:38:48 bible it’s not actually conquering your
00:38:50 bible it contradicts
00:38:51 people’s false traditions what it
00:38:53 establishes
00:38:54 its purpose is established truth
00:38:57 right but if you think the bible teaches
00:39:00 the day starts in the evening
00:39:03 you could say then oh yeah so that
00:39:05 proves the book mormon’s false because
00:39:06 it’s contrary to the bible no it’s not
00:39:08 contradicting the bible it’s
00:39:10 contradicting your belief of what the
00:39:12 bible says
00:39:16 so here’s one that i did with i did some
00:39:19 highlights from somebody um on the bible
00:39:22 um
00:39:23 i have found one that has even more
00:39:25 verses since i did that one um
00:39:28 but
00:39:29 the guy i got the permission to do these
00:39:30 highlights from he believes
00:39:34 new moon is the full moon and not the
00:39:36 dark moon and i didn’t want that stuff
00:39:39 in it and so i got his permission to do
00:39:41 some highlights so i i said some stuff
00:39:43 at the beginning and and
00:39:45 now if i remember i did a translation of
00:39:48 a genesis verse in there of my own
00:39:51 um
00:39:52 anyways we wouldn’t go look at that
00:39:53 after because you said when i started a
00:39:55 book of mormon and here’s a
00:39:58 i think this one’s a video or
00:40:00 we can go back back and forth between
00:40:02 the two i don’t mind uh we’ll just stick
00:40:04 with this one because there’s
00:40:06 here’s some here that i have that i knew
00:40:08 at the time i have learned some more
00:40:10 since then
00:40:11 and
00:40:12 i i’ve even learned it better where i
00:40:13 can explain the the primary text that
00:40:16 gets proof text incorrectly which i
00:40:18 didn’t
00:40:19 didn’t know when i first came to this
00:40:22 right
00:40:22 when you first learn truth
00:40:24 god doesn’t give you all the answers to
00:40:27 to no
00:40:28 no
00:40:29 explain it to everybody right no you got
00:40:32 to search it out figure it out
00:40:34 that’s where you kind of do some stuff
00:40:36 on your own um yeah
00:40:38 so i
00:40:40 cause i i even remember even in my
00:40:42 nazarene mormon group um
00:40:46 after i came to this
00:40:48 then
00:40:49 they were asking me questions even
00:40:51 though i did this
00:40:52 shared this post in there
00:40:54 and and they were like
00:40:57 arguing with the book of mormon i’m just
00:40:59 like okay
00:41:03 um i
00:41:04 i didn’t know how to respond to the
00:41:06 proof texting at that time but
00:41:09 after that happened there there was um
00:41:13 day of atonement
00:41:14 and on day of atonement as i was doing
00:41:16 it as the scriptures actually teach god
00:41:19 gave it to me
00:41:21 how to explain it
00:41:23 but i never got around to doing the post
00:41:25 but
00:41:26 but then i came across another post that
00:41:29 shares many other verses from the bible
00:41:30 and explains that one so i didn’t i
00:41:32 didn’t do an explanation
00:41:35 um
00:41:36 though one of these days i’m going to do
00:41:38 one on sunset and
00:41:40 dawn i may throw that in there because
00:41:42 it’s kind of related but anyways
00:41:45 um
00:41:46 but um
00:41:48 i i have found that as you live it
00:41:53 god
00:41:54 gives you
00:41:56 deeper understanding so you can then
00:41:58 explain it
00:42:00 yeah yeah uh some of it is just because
00:42:04 then then seek to
00:42:06 yes
00:42:07 yeah exactly um
00:42:10 exactly that’s a good example of that
00:42:12 okay anyways
00:42:15 um
00:42:18 so i think i found this was the second
00:42:20 one i found but i i don’t see that
00:42:22 stated there so i mean it’s going off
00:42:24 vague memory but first e5 uh 16 9
00:42:28 through 12.
00:42:30 16 9 12.
00:42:33 you want to read that so that way i can
00:42:34 have something sure
00:42:36 yeah
00:42:37 16 9
00:42:39 through 12.
00:42:41 okay
00:42:44 and it came to pass that the voice of
00:42:46 the lord yahweh spake unto my father by
00:42:48 night and commanded him
00:42:50 i’ve noticed that too that lots of
00:42:53 inspiration and and
00:42:55 things come in the middle of the night
00:42:59 anyway
00:43:02 where did i go tomorrow and should we
00:43:04 take his journey
00:43:06 just fyi
00:43:08 yeah one thing
00:43:09 i’ll decide to track just a little bit
00:43:11 okay okay
00:43:14 okay just a little bit please no i just
00:43:17 kind of go along with that pattern that
00:43:19 you just brought up okay so i’ll give
00:43:20 you a little more since you brought it
00:43:21 up okay so it’s your fault okay
00:43:26 anyways
00:43:27 so in the creation of genesis um i do
00:43:30 see
00:43:31 new moon day in it because there’s the
00:43:33 dark and then there’s the day that’s
00:43:34 starting to go do the work right and we
00:43:36 can even look at those verses when we’re
00:43:38 done here if you want next the genesis
00:43:40 versus that shows that morning starts i
00:43:42 mean the day starts in the morning it’s
00:43:43 even just there in the creation account
00:43:46 um but anyways
00:43:48 you have new moon day
00:43:50 which
00:43:52 i see a lot of examples
00:43:55 where
00:43:56 new moon day represents
00:43:59 before the foundation of the world okay
00:44:02 so
00:44:03 where it kind of goes on with this let
00:44:05 me bring in joshua okay and um
00:44:10 jericho
00:44:13 one night
00:44:14 god came to joshua
00:44:17 and told joshua what he was supposed to
00:44:18 do
00:44:19 and this is
00:44:20 interesting um
00:44:22 okay i’ll just he told him what to do
00:44:24 and it was to blow
00:44:26 walk around the city right
00:44:28 and blow the trumpets
00:44:30 for six days right blow it once and then
00:44:32 on the seventh day you’re gonna
00:44:34 walk around the city seven times and
00:44:36 blow the trumpets okay
00:44:38 trumpets blowing has to do with warning
00:44:40 the people aka
00:44:41 preaching to people what they’re
00:44:43 supposed to be doing
00:44:45 and then on the seventh day there was
00:44:46 destruction right the wicked were
00:44:48 destroyed and right one family was saved
00:44:52 just like
00:44:53 uh
00:44:55 gentiles who repent will be saved
00:44:57 um
00:44:58 but
00:44:59 so
00:45:00 the dark
00:45:02 yeah i don’t know if the day that um
00:45:04 yeshua came to joshua was a new moon day
00:45:07 or not i’ve looked at the account i
00:45:09 can’t
00:45:10 i there’s not enough to know for sure
00:45:12 when it was
00:45:14 i speculate that it was on new moon day
00:45:17 partly because of other patterns that i
00:45:19 see that goes along with this okay but
00:45:21 the point i’m bringing out that goes
00:45:22 with you said
00:45:25 before the foundation of the world
00:45:27 we were told what we were supposed to do
00:45:30 and then we came down here in the
00:45:31 morning and started doing it
00:45:35 and so i i think it kind of follows that
00:45:37 pattern so anyways enough for that
00:45:39 sidetrack okay
00:45:40 okay go back to these pictures
00:45:42 all right
00:45:43 okay
00:45:44 um and
00:45:45 i’ll start over and it came to pass that
00:45:47 the voice of yahweh
00:45:49 spake unto my father by night and
00:45:51 commanded him that on the morrow he
00:45:53 should take his journey into the
00:45:54 wilderness and it came to pass that as
00:45:56 my father arose in the morning i went
00:45:59 forth to the tent door
00:46:01 to his great astonishment he be
00:46:03 held upon the ground a round ball of
00:46:04 furious workmanship and it was in the
00:46:07 fine brass and within the ball were two
00:46:09 spindles and the one pointed to
00:46:11 pointed the way wither he we should go
00:46:14 into the wilderness
00:46:17 and it came to pass that we did gather
00:46:19 together whatsoever things we should
00:46:20 carry into the wilderness and all the
00:46:22 remainder of our provisions which yahweh
00:46:25 had given unto us and we did take seed
00:46:28 of every kind that we might carry into
00:46:30 the wilderness and it came to pass that
00:46:32 we did take our tents and depart into
00:46:33 the wilderness
00:46:36 so
00:46:38 uh i have bold like the morning or
00:46:40 tomorrow tomorrow means the next day
00:46:44 and
00:46:44 we’re
00:46:45 morning right
00:46:47 another example of the
00:46:49 morning is when
00:46:51 the day starts
00:46:54 yeah um
00:46:55 [Music]
00:46:57 okay
00:46:58 um
00:46:59 [Music]
00:47:01 oh this one
00:47:03 so
00:47:04 this one i didn’t uh catch this one when
00:47:06 i i did this post
00:47:08 um
00:47:10 but
00:47:13 so there’s an orthodox tradition that
00:47:14 the new year starts in the fall
00:47:18 this example actually shows
00:47:21 uh that it starts in the spring along
00:47:24 with a septuagint translation that i
00:47:28 have recently found that
00:47:31 anyways we get to those details if you
00:47:33 want but just fyi
00:47:35 there is a tradition that the new year
00:47:38 starts in the fall
00:47:40 instead of the spring and that comes
00:47:42 from babylon but anyways
00:47:44 this passage right here um
00:47:47 contradicts that and we can go over why
00:47:50 it contradicts that also if you want um
00:47:52 but anyways
00:47:55 i don’t know if you want to read those
00:47:56 verses
00:47:57 well yeah yeah let’s do it why not
00:48:01 i don’t know i mean
00:48:02 so just so you’re aware i have a lot of
00:48:04 verses
00:48:06 that show morning in the book of mormon
00:48:09 so all the indented ones are book of
00:48:11 mormon verses that show morning okay
00:48:13 well i can go through those myself
00:48:16 well it’s up to you
00:48:19 if we can do a couple more in the book
00:48:21 of mormon then i can see that it’s uh
00:48:23 sure um well we can do this one go to
00:48:25 the bible
00:48:26 okay um
00:48:28 so
00:48:29 elma 51
00:48:30 32 through emma
00:48:33 52 1.
00:48:44 61-1
00:48:47 32
00:48:48 32
00:48:49 kill the first first of the next
00:48:53 okay
00:48:54 let me read it
00:48:56 yeah if you don’t mind just so that way
00:48:58 i’m not the only one talking okay sounds
00:49:00 good
00:49:01 and it came to pass that they did
00:49:04 harass them and so much that they
00:49:05 displayed them even until it was dark
00:49:07 and it came to pass that tiankum and his
00:49:09 men did pitch their tents in the borders
00:49:11 of the land bountiful and amal i always
00:49:14 pronounce this name wrong is it amalek
00:49:17 uh that sounds good
00:49:19 it hit his tent from the border borders
00:49:22 on the beach by the seashore and after
00:49:24 this manner were they driven and it came
00:49:26 to pass that when the night had come
00:49:28 tiankim and his servants go forth and
00:49:30 went out by night and went into the camp
00:49:33 of the malachi ha malakaya and right so
00:49:36 here here’s real quick though i just
00:49:37 want to interject just a little bit okay
00:49:39 it’s night time as they’re doing this
00:49:41 right okay right
00:49:44 the night had come and they took off
00:49:46 to do their thing
00:49:48 was there a night time in an earlier
00:49:50 verse there or just in that one well it
00:49:51 was until it was so they were fighting
00:49:53 it was dark so i would say until sunset
00:49:56 or maybe even past but anyways okay
00:49:59 that’s kind of vague there and no i had
00:50:01 come so night come so it’s night now and
00:50:04 they went out by night so this is after
00:50:08 um
00:50:08 whatever dark is
00:50:10 it’s at least past sunset
00:50:14 right okay anyways by night so that
00:50:17 that’s their maybe midnight or something
00:50:19 right okay especially with the
00:50:21 activities they want to do they want to
00:50:22 do it while there’s the other bad guys
00:50:24 are sleeping right it’ll come as obvious
00:50:26 as they’re reading here
00:50:28 right
00:50:29 behold sleep had overpowered them
00:50:31 because of their much fatigue which was
00:50:34 caused by the labors and heat of the day
00:50:36 and it came to pass that tiankum stole
00:50:38 privily into the tent of the king and
00:50:41 put a javelin to his heart and he did
00:50:43 cause the death of the king immediately
00:50:45 that he did not awake his servants and
00:50:47 he returned again privily to his own
00:50:49 camp and behold his men were asleep and
00:50:51 he woke them and told them all the
00:50:52 things that he had done
00:50:54 and he caused that his armies should
00:50:56 stand in readiness lest the lamanites
00:50:58 had wakened and should come upon them
00:51:01 and thus ended the 25th year of the
00:51:03 reign of the judges over the people of
00:51:05 nephi and thus ended the days of the
00:51:07 malachi
00:51:09 okay so oh let’s treat one more verse no
00:51:11 had some commentary
00:51:13 and now it came to pass in the 26th year
00:51:15 the reign of judges over the people
00:51:16 nephi behold when lamanites awoke on the
00:51:19 first morning
00:51:21 of the first month
00:51:26 behold they found a malachi
00:51:28 kaya was dead in his own tent and they
00:51:30 also saw that tiankum was ready to give
00:51:32 them battle on that day
00:51:34 so they did stuff while people were
00:51:36 sleeping
00:51:37 right that’s obviously past sunset
00:51:41 he
00:51:42 woke up his people to tell him
00:51:45 and then
00:51:47 after they woke up during the night
00:51:49 then ended the year meaning
00:51:53 after they did some talking
00:51:55 after they woke up too early then ended
00:51:58 the year which means
00:52:00 the day starts in the morning right in
00:52:02 fact the next verse even kind of makes
00:52:04 it more clear when the lamanites woke up
00:52:07 the next day right
00:52:09 uh they found their leader dead
00:52:16 so
00:52:16 right here it says the next year
00:52:18 and then it um and where does it say the
00:52:21 next year i’m not seeing the next year
00:52:22 the end of the year end of the 20th and
00:52:25 fifth year
00:52:28 oh and end of the 20th and thursday 37
00:52:31 okay right right but then the next verse
00:52:34 goes and says right as the first day of
00:52:37 the first
00:52:38 month
00:52:39 yeah i’m gonna put moon
00:52:42 moose
00:52:43 yeah the first moon uh joseph smith was
00:52:45 a gentile right yep yep yeah
00:52:49 i mean i’ve been studying the book of
00:52:50 mormon
00:52:52 years more than joseph smith translated
00:52:54 it and i’ve just
00:52:56 a couple years figured that one out
00:52:58 right
00:53:00 i’m a gentile too i grew up at helen
00:53:05 hold on let me close the door one second
00:53:20 okay all right so anyways that one shows
00:53:23 uh day starts the morning and
00:53:26 the new year starts in the spring
00:53:29 hold on he opened it again
00:53:32 anyone is daddy
00:53:48 i guess naps affect my kids like me i
00:53:50 can’t take naps if i do i have problems
00:53:53 during the
00:53:54 night time like night time
00:53:56 yeah yeah
00:53:57 just like he’s having a hard time so he
00:54:00 probably gets that from me
00:54:01 um anyways
00:54:03 so but i didn’t notice the year one
00:54:05 because i wasn’t really keen into that
00:54:07 controversy at that time but if i had
00:54:10 been i would have added that here but
00:54:13 um
00:54:14 also one thing that’s interesting if you
00:54:16 look on my screen
00:54:18 you see the little tildes
00:54:20 yeah
00:54:21 that was a chapter mark on the gold
00:54:23 plates
00:54:25 what was it
00:54:26 yeah which that’s cool it just it’s kind
00:54:29 of an interesting little tip it like
00:54:31 ended the year
00:54:32 through the through the end of the of
00:54:35 the night and then the next chapter
00:54:37 starts the next year
00:54:39 which started in the morning which i
00:54:41 think also gives more credence to
00:54:44 the day starting in the morning
00:54:47 um
00:54:48 [Music]
00:54:49 okay all right
00:54:51 read those yeah
00:54:53 um
00:54:55 oh look i put a translation here
00:54:59 uh so let’s go look at my translation
00:55:01 [Laughter]
00:55:03 i think this
00:55:04 is this one live
00:55:08 yeah
00:55:09 okay
00:55:24 anyways it’s been a while
00:55:26 and and
00:55:29 elohim called the day light day and the
00:55:31 darkness he called night in the evening
00:55:32 and the morning for the first day
00:55:36 so yeah this is probably my translation
00:55:38 because here i have it a little
00:55:40 different than the king james and then
00:55:42 followed
00:55:44 and i put the hebrew word which we can
00:55:46 go click on and find out
00:55:48 and a better
00:55:50 translation of that hebrew word
00:55:52 is followed and then i have dusk
00:55:58 which i
00:56:00 right now i wouldn’t do dusk but anyways
00:56:04 um i would put evening or
00:56:07 sunset uh because look right when a
00:56:09 translation is sunset so with what i
00:56:12 know now i would put sunset
00:56:14 so
00:56:15 i’m i’m up
00:56:16 i’ll have to update this translation
00:56:19 but see look i have the hebrew words
00:56:21 you’re saying the hebrew word for dusk
00:56:23 means
00:56:25 yeah so i go click on the word because i
00:56:27 have the link on my post uh yeah it has
00:56:30 the different translations
00:56:33 one is sunset
00:56:35 which i would say is the better
00:56:36 sometimes it’s twilight sometimes it’s
00:56:38 most the time it’s evening by far
00:56:41 114 it got translated this evening
00:56:46 but
00:56:47 sometimes it is the sunset and i think
00:56:50 that’s the better translation but
00:56:53 specifically on that point um with the
00:56:55 high holidays
00:56:57 especially passover
00:56:58 christ was
00:57:00 slain in between the evenings okay
00:57:04 now
00:57:05 i think one of the evenings is
00:57:09 obviously sunset
00:57:11 and this one i don’t know how to explain
00:57:12 yet but the other one was high noon
00:57:15 because he was
00:57:17 um
00:57:18 slain at three our time which is in
00:57:21 between
00:57:22 high noon
00:57:23 and sunset
00:57:27 so
00:57:28 i don’t know how yet but i have a theory
00:57:30 that somehow
00:57:31 high noon is considered an evening
00:57:34 probably partly because it’s when
00:57:37 evening actually we’re starting to
00:57:38 approach sunset but i i need to do more
00:57:41 research on that if that makes sense
00:57:45 because
00:57:46 there’s this phrase between the evenings
00:57:50 and
00:57:51 most hebrew rooters agree that means
00:57:53 three o’clock in hellenistic time right
00:57:55 give or take right
00:57:58 um but we don’t know why other than
00:58:01 um
00:58:03 telmetic sources
00:58:05 so anyways that’s a
00:58:08 interesting tidbit for you
00:58:10 and then followed
00:58:11 followed dawn
00:58:13 which i would um
00:58:16 let’s see if we can do this but i would
00:58:17 with what i know now i would put sunrise
00:58:21 let’s see if that’s one of the possible
00:58:22 um translations oh there’s a lot here
00:58:26 that works translated a lot of different
00:58:28 ways
00:58:30 uh
00:58:31 there’s none on sunrise on this page but
00:58:34 anyways um this book with who i know now
00:58:37 though i would put sunrise
00:58:40 and that was
00:58:42 and then
00:58:43 that was the first day
00:58:45 right
00:58:47 the light
00:58:48 the darkness
00:58:51 the dusk
00:58:53 dawn
00:58:54 that’s a day
00:58:56 so just before this so where is it
00:58:58 starting i’m not seeing where it’s
00:58:59 starting here
00:59:01 because well the verse be
00:59:02 just before this
00:59:04 he’s doing work and you do work in the
00:59:06 day right
00:59:08 okay god saw the light that it was good
00:59:10 and god divided the light from the
00:59:11 darkness
00:59:13 but verse four what’s verse four i don’t
00:59:14 have it here that’s what i just read
00:59:19 elohim divided the light from the
00:59:21 darkness yeah that’s that’s what he did
00:59:23 that was the first day worse right i
00:59:25 think that’s the first right
00:59:26 yeah
00:59:27 um so he did his work
00:59:30 and he
00:59:31 called the light day and the darkness
00:59:33 night and then came
00:59:35 suns so he did work he did work in the
00:59:38 daylight right
00:59:39 then came sunset and then came
00:59:42 sunrise
00:59:44 and he called that a day
00:59:48 the combination
00:59:50 yeah also it’s kind of interesting
00:59:51 necessarily night first
00:59:53 no it it
00:59:55 knight cappy first because if if knight
00:59:57 came
00:59:58 first from
01:00:00 sunset to sunrise that’s day no it’s not
01:00:05 right because most people will try to
01:00:07 read this and say
01:00:09 um
01:00:10 from evening
01:00:12 through mornings i think that the jst is
01:00:14 from evening to morning right
01:00:17 the first day
01:00:18 so
01:00:21 evening sunset
01:00:22 to morning
01:00:24 sunrise
01:00:25 that’s not a day
01:00:27 how can you call you can’t call what’s
01:00:29 in between those two periods a day
01:00:31 because that’s that’s obviously night
01:00:34 is that what they’re trying to say yes
01:00:36 that’s how they’re trying to proof text
01:00:38 it from genesis one
01:00:40 they’re saying from
01:00:44 [Music]
01:00:52 king james version it says morning there
01:00:54 or in my translation i have dawn where
01:00:56 right now i changed to sunrise but
01:00:58 anyways
01:00:59 um because morning it were the first day
01:01:01 the evening and the morning were the
01:01:02 first time right now interestingly
01:01:04 enough
01:01:06 the first night watch
01:01:09 is called evening
01:01:11 and the last
01:01:12 night watch is called morning
01:01:15 so
01:01:16 another way to translate this because
01:01:21 language has you know this being a
01:01:23 language translator
01:01:24 there’s depth in the in the in the
01:01:26 language um
01:01:29 so another way to put this would be and
01:01:32 then followed
01:01:34 the first night watch and then
01:01:36 the fourth night watch
01:01:39 and that was day
01:01:43 so the work during the day
01:01:46 the night watch first night watch
01:01:49 second night you watch third night watch
01:01:50 fourth night watch
01:01:53 all that is called today
01:02:02 are you there yeah i’m here did the
01:02:04 internet have problems
01:02:06 no my
01:02:07 kiddo
01:02:08 i had to get after him he’s running all
01:02:10 over the place making noise in the
01:02:11 background
01:02:13 well at least mine’s not the only one
01:02:15 disobeying right now
01:02:21 makes me not feel so bad
01:02:23 what happens to others right
01:02:27 is he running around naked like mine was
01:02:30 no no not usually
01:02:31 [Laughter]
01:02:33 anyways
01:02:35 okay
01:02:36 so should i say that again i don’t know
01:02:37 how much you got yeah would you say it
01:02:39 one more time okay so
01:02:41 in verse four he talks about how he he
01:02:43 did his work right
01:02:45 right in the daytime yeah he did his
01:02:47 work in the daytime verse 5 he said he
01:02:50 called
01:02:51 that light day and the darkness night
01:02:55 and after he did his work then came
01:02:58 um this is another way of putting it
01:03:04 and then came the first night watch
01:03:07 which is called evening
01:03:10 up to
01:03:11 the last night watch which is called
01:03:13 morning
01:03:15 and that was called a day
01:03:19 okay so the work during the day
01:03:22 and then your night period right because
01:03:24 it’s common in english
01:03:26 instead of saying everything in between
01:03:28 we’ll say the first and the last and we
01:03:30 know everything in between is included
01:03:32 right
01:03:33 yeah
01:03:35 that’s what i see going on there
01:03:37 so
01:03:38 and when we list things in in english
01:03:40 even we’ll go one two three
01:03:43 and then dot dot dot
01:03:45 seven you know all the numbers in
01:03:47 between are included right
01:03:50 yeah yeah for sure
01:03:52 that’s basically what i see going on in
01:03:54 genesis
01:03:55 okay
01:03:56 now i need to write a post to explain it
01:03:58 a little better like i just did here
01:03:59 where i kind of give the different
01:04:01 variations than i did here
01:04:03 um but you you see the basic idea right
01:04:09 but either way
01:04:11 you can’t call from sunset
01:04:14 to sunrise day
01:04:16 because that’s what the orthodox or the
01:04:19 people who believe this orthodox
01:04:20 tradition
01:04:21 will try to say
01:04:23 right
01:04:24 they’ll say from evening to morning’s
01:04:27 day
01:04:28 well wait a minute
01:04:29 evening to morning
01:04:31 that’s from sunset to sunrise you’re
01:04:34 calling that day but wait a minute oh
01:04:36 god just called that night
01:04:41 the whole day to the night again that’s
01:04:43 what i thought that was saying no
01:04:45 where’s the other evening there’s only
01:04:46 one evening here
01:04:49 i’m not
01:04:52 exactly
01:04:53 what’s in the text is evening and
01:04:56 morning in the king james right
01:04:58 right but if you go from this is
01:05:02 like
01:05:03 because if you
01:05:05 evening
01:05:07 includes when you go
01:05:09 the sun goes down
01:05:11 and then it goes clear
01:05:13 around till including the daytime until
01:05:15 it’s evening again
01:05:16 where’s that but look he in the texas
01:05:19 says i know but the text actually says
01:05:22 evening and then morning
01:05:25 the first day
01:05:27 yeah
01:05:29 so the first end day ended at the
01:05:32 night watch called
01:05:34 morning but this has nothing about
01:05:37 calling day evening to evening here
01:05:40 if you take anything this last first and
01:05:42 this is what orthodox do is they read
01:05:44 this last little part from evening and
01:05:46 morning day so they take that to me the
01:05:50 day starts at the evening but wait a
01:05:51 minute
01:05:52 it’s giving a period of time from eat
01:05:55 sunset
01:05:56 to sunrise
01:05:58 and they call that day
01:06:01 god just called that
01:06:02 night yeah he didn’t work at night well
01:06:05 i know but they tr what i’m trying to
01:06:07 get at is he they’re trying to take that
01:06:10 last part of that verse that last
01:06:12 sentence yes i can see it now yeah proof
01:06:15 text that the day starts the evening oh
01:06:18 yeah
01:06:19 yeah that’s one of the proof texts that
01:06:21 they do
01:06:22 okay genesis um in creation because
01:06:25 that’s i mean there’s multiple verses
01:06:27 there’s six of those
01:06:28 did you see 13 as well in that same
01:06:30 chapter 13. uh it’s probably the same
01:06:33 thing because it happens i mean and the
01:06:36 evening in the morning the third day
01:06:38 yeah yeah
01:06:40 it’s going to be there six times because
01:06:42 there’s the six days the seventh day
01:06:44 doesn’t have doesn’t end that way
01:06:47 it’s the seventh day is different but
01:06:48 day one through six is the same
01:06:51 they they all end the same that same
01:06:54 yeah
01:06:55 i don’t know it’s not exactly the same
01:06:57 because it’ll say the different
01:06:59 day number
01:07:00 but i think the rest of it’s the same if
01:07:02 it’s not exactly the same it’s pretty
01:07:04 close
01:07:08 go check me
01:07:10 yeah see if i’m right if you want real
01:07:12 quick because i don’t have it all
01:07:13 memorized but i get
01:07:15 the general gist down pretty well um
01:07:31 thus the heavens and the earth were
01:07:32 finished and all the hosts of them and
01:07:34 on the seventh day god ended his work
01:07:36 which he had made and he rested on the
01:07:38 seventh day from all his works which he
01:07:40 had made he blessed the seventh day and
01:07:42 saying goodbye he didn’t call at night
01:07:44 he didn’t book
01:07:46 bless the seventh ninth night day night
01:07:48 sanctified it be blessed seventh day
01:07:51 saint divided
01:07:52 because that in it he had rested from
01:07:55 all his work which god created and made
01:08:00 so
01:08:01 just so you know that i’m not making
01:08:03 this up
01:08:04 oh you’re not i can see
01:08:06 well just also other people
01:08:08 saying this
01:08:10 on the night watches here’s an article
01:08:13 from someone else
01:08:15 that states that
01:08:17 the four night watches the first one’s
01:08:19 evening
01:08:21 and the last one’s called morning um
01:08:25 so
01:08:26 just so that way it’s not just coming
01:08:28 just for me just so that there’s other
01:08:29 sources confirming me
01:08:31 right
01:08:33 on that part but this translations me in
01:08:35 fact i even changed it a little bit
01:08:37 since i’ve done this article because
01:08:38 i’ve learned more right but
01:08:41 um but you see where i’m getting at how
01:08:43 i’m yes
01:08:45 and hopefully you can kind of see how
01:08:46 they’re
01:08:48 proof texting it and how i’m showing how
01:08:50 that proof text is just wrong
01:08:53 yeah yeah i mean they don’t even include
01:08:55 the afternoon part of the day and that’s
01:08:57 where most of the light is right right
01:09:00 they don’t include that in their
01:09:01 definition of day when they’re proof
01:09:02 texting these genesis verses it’s
01:09:05 because they’re proof texting
01:09:07 and proof texting is all about trying to
01:09:09 fit your theology or your your belief
01:09:11 into a text that doesn’t actually say
01:09:13 that
01:09:14 and it doesn’t say that
01:09:16 just hopefully you can see that and
01:09:18 understand why it doesn’t say that
01:09:20 with that those explanations i just gave
01:09:22 you
01:09:25 i got to take care of my little kid for
01:09:26 just a second okay i’ll pause it then
01:09:28 for a minute
01:09:32 okay oh and one thing i just remembered
01:09:36 um and i just checked my notes i don’t
01:09:38 have them sometimes i
01:09:42 i if i’m like out and about and
01:09:44 researching and looking because
01:09:46 i have some free time i don’t always put
01:09:49 it in my one note but anyways
01:09:51 one thing i need to add there are some
01:09:52 verses
01:09:54 in
01:09:55 the bible that use
01:09:58 evening and mourning and like daniel is
01:10:00 one of them if you look at the context
01:10:01 it’s talking about the night time
01:10:06 we can go look those up if you want i
01:10:08 i’d
01:10:08 rather continue because i think you get
01:10:10 the basics
01:10:12 yeah i see what’s going on we don’t need
01:10:14 to focus on that okay um oh and then
01:10:17 here just so you’re aware here’s so i
01:10:20 have the
01:10:21 my favorite edition the earliest text
01:10:24 right that’s where i do my series
01:10:25 but that picture is from
01:10:28 i can’t remember the kindle or pdf
01:10:31 version of it
01:10:32 and you can see the little tilde doing
01:10:35 the um
01:10:37 separation
01:10:38 on from the gold plates
01:10:40 which is one that we just went over
01:10:42 which really emphasizes
01:10:44 the new day starts in the morning right
01:10:47 yeah
01:10:49 in fact the new year starts in the
01:10:51 morning
01:10:55 yeah
01:10:56 that’s what i said yeah
01:10:59 but you know that’s always been there
01:11:02 yeah
01:11:03 and i never noticed it
01:11:05 well most of my life right
01:11:07 right anyways
01:11:09 a lot of this stuff has always been
01:11:10 there we just never noticed haven’t been
01:11:13 focusing on learning stuff well
01:11:16 another thing is when we have false
01:11:17 traditions
01:11:20 we read past truth without even
01:11:22 recognizing it right exactly because our
01:11:24 brains already got an idea and doesn’t
01:11:26 want to learn something else yeah um
01:11:29 most of the time we just read to find
01:11:31 things that support what
01:11:33 we believe which is
01:11:35 kind of funny that i’m saying that
01:11:37 because i admitted i saw this after i
01:11:39 believed it right right right
01:11:44 there’s a place for that and there’s a
01:11:46 place not for that right um
01:11:48 yes there he is so when you’re finding
01:11:50 truth it’s good with your leaving
01:11:54 but also
01:11:56 i i mean we’re we’re doing this right
01:11:58 now we’re critically looking at the text
01:12:00 right so it’s not like i’m forcing an
01:12:02 idea on this
01:12:03 right um because
01:12:04 i think we just looked at three four
01:12:07 five i don’t remember um actually
01:12:10 quite a few from the book of mormon that
01:12:11 show this
01:12:13 yeah not just because i believe it but
01:12:15 because the text actually says that
01:12:17 especially this alma 51 example yeah
01:12:21 right yeah
01:12:22 and that might actually be one of the
01:12:23 better ones but anyways
01:12:26 um
01:12:27 so
01:12:29 you just have to be careful with that
01:12:30 because i’m even doing it but you can do
01:12:33 it incorrectly
01:12:34 right you can
01:12:36 there’s a difference between forcing
01:12:38 something to the text versus letting the
01:12:41 text speak for itself right
01:12:48 i don’t remember why i’m doing this
01:12:50 right here we can look into that if you
01:12:52 want or if we can just go on to other
01:12:54 book of mormon verses
01:12:56 let’s read that one this talks about the
01:12:58 firmament in the heavens and the lights
01:13:00 okay
01:13:01 um
01:13:05 do you remember what day that is it’s
01:13:06 that day
01:13:08 it’s the fourth day fourth day oh so
01:13:11 it’s gonna be uh okay so in the creation
01:13:13 prophecy just fyi that’s when christ
01:13:16 comes
01:13:18 so that’s that’s
01:13:20 a big one and i kind of focus on that on
01:13:22 a
01:13:23 a post that i’ve
01:13:24 been working on for a while but i’ve
01:13:26 been working on a different one a while
01:13:28 because in in the earliest brigham like
01:13:31 temples
01:13:32 that’s one of the changes that they do
01:13:34 they get wrong or brigham got wrong
01:13:38 and it’s getting and people have
01:13:41 reasons that they’ve come up for it but
01:13:43 it’s just because he just made it up to
01:13:46 put a family
01:13:47 but okay that’s changing when christ
01:13:49 would come because christ comes on the
01:13:51 fourth day and he is the light
01:13:54 another interesting thing since you’re
01:13:56 learning about the winter sabbath
01:13:58 is
01:13:59 um that’s when the lunar
01:14:01 cycle change
01:14:03 happened which makes it you actually
01:14:05 have to look in the lights because
01:14:08 that’s when the lights were appointed
01:14:10 not created when you go look at the
01:14:12 hebrew word behind this stuff it says
01:14:15 appointed not created because in the
01:14:17 king james it says created when you look
01:14:19 at the hebrew it’s appointed meaning
01:14:22 in the 4th millennium you’re going to
01:14:24 have to go look at these stars or lights
01:14:27 in heaven
01:14:28 because before you could just count
01:14:32 and absolutely no now you actually have
01:14:34 to look i mean you should have looked
01:14:36 before
01:14:37 but you could get away with counting now
01:14:39 you actually have to look
01:14:41 huh huh
01:14:44 should we read that one
01:14:46 sure sure okay
01:14:48 and
01:14:50 elohim said there let there be lights in
01:14:52 the firmament of the heaven to divide
01:14:54 the days from the night and let them
01:14:57 be for signs and for seasons and for
01:14:59 days and free and years and let them be
01:15:01 for lights in the firmament of the
01:15:03 heaven to give light upon the earth and
01:15:05 it was so may god made two great lights
01:15:08 the greater light to rule the day and
01:15:10 the lesser light to rule the night he
01:15:12 made the stars also and elohim set them
01:15:15 in a firmament of the heaven to give
01:15:17 light upon the earth
01:15:19 and to roll over the day and over the
01:15:21 night and to divide the light from the
01:15:23 darkness and god elohim
01:15:26 saw that it was good and the evening and
01:15:28 the morning were the fourth day
01:15:32 so right now i don’t remember why i have
01:15:34 that in the post so i i i could read my
01:15:39 um stuff or we can just move on to try
01:15:42 to remember why i have it there or just
01:15:45 go on to the next let’s read what you
01:15:46 have there to see if you can remember
01:15:48 why it’s there okay
01:15:50 as you can see chapter break on the gold
01:15:52 plates the next star alma okay that
01:15:55 that’s just talking about
01:15:57 the break
01:16:00 the next day the next person i want to
01:16:02 look up is
01:16:04 alma 56 though initially it may not
01:16:07 appear relevant to the subject and i
01:16:09 believe
01:16:10 we look at the imagery keep in mind
01:16:12 beforehand
01:16:15 okay it says keep this imagery in mind
01:16:18 which we just read um so let’s keep in
01:16:21 mind before we as we look to the next
01:16:23 one
01:16:25 from the verses what i want to bring out
01:16:27 from the verse
01:16:28 is that
01:16:29 they state
01:16:31 it is light and not the dark that is
01:16:33 used to divide
01:16:39 oh yeah it is the light and not the dark
01:16:43 okay meaning
01:16:44 light uh okay so it’s the light that
01:16:47 divides
01:16:49 so it’s the light that
01:16:51 is the marker for the new day that’s
01:16:54 where i’m getting out
01:16:55 um because if it was night used to to
01:16:58 divide it would be the night that starts
01:17:01 but here i’m getting the light is the
01:17:03 divider
01:17:04 meaning morning
01:17:06 right because if it was a night that was
01:17:08 dividing
01:17:10 or dark
01:17:11 night
01:17:12 dark it’d be the night that starts but
01:17:14 no right so
01:17:17 okay so i get what’s going on there now
01:17:19 i forgot about that i forgot that point
01:17:23 oh boy i’ll have to reread all my posts
01:17:27 yeah you will i don’t have
01:17:34 during the fellowship part i’m working
01:17:36 on um
01:17:38 the code to do the calculations so i can
01:17:40 write my own program
01:17:42 right i’ll be giving out um
01:17:45 for the lunar sabbath
01:17:47 believers um
01:17:50 because the world’s last chance has some
01:17:51 things wrong um
01:17:54 they do the start of the year
01:17:56 in the fall instead of the spring
01:17:59 and they do the start of the day on dawn
01:18:01 instead of sunrise
01:18:04 so i’ve been using it
01:18:06 um
01:18:07 because most of the time it doesn’t make
01:18:08 a difference but like i mentioned this
01:18:10 last hebrew year
01:18:12 they started a moon earlier than i did
01:18:15 um
01:18:16 and their earlier start kept
01:18:20 the months out of the season because the
01:18:23 as a second witness the tanakh brings
01:18:25 out some things that need to happen in
01:18:26 particular seasons or aka
01:18:30 moons of the year and that didn’t happen
01:18:32 when you do the
01:18:33 the moon first moon too early
01:18:37 i i did this
01:18:39 we’re still in it right because we
01:18:40 haven’t started a new hebrew or
01:18:43 calendar yet
01:18:45 um but i’m a moon
01:18:47 less than everyone else because they or
01:18:50 most people
01:18:51 because they started a moon earlier than
01:18:53 i did
01:18:55 so i’ve been doing
01:18:57 passover and all the high holidays a
01:19:00 moon later than most
01:19:01 though
01:19:03 one guy i like on youtube
01:19:07 new to torah i like his youtube
01:19:10 channel um he did it at the moon later
01:19:12 also um
01:19:15 not that matters but it’s just kind of
01:19:16 nice and
01:19:18 he
01:19:19 shared some of the same verses that i
01:19:21 you know of that shows the
01:19:24 what needs to happen in particular what
01:19:26 um
01:19:28 harvest need to happen when and when you
01:19:30 did the moon earlier like most of the
01:19:32 world
01:19:34 you couldn’t do that
01:19:36 because the
01:19:38 the grains weren’t ripe
01:19:41 so but anyways
01:19:44 um
01:19:45 okay i think here i do a little
01:19:47 sidetrack which i we can read if you
01:19:50 want
01:19:51 um in fact
01:19:53 i this is one of my little favorite side
01:19:55 tracks um
01:19:57 in this post
01:20:00 because i’ll just want to read it real
01:20:02 quick a lot of christians will say
01:20:04 what would jesus do right wwjd
01:20:08 [Music]
01:20:12 sorry no that’s fine
01:20:15 um yeah are you back yes i’m back oh
01:20:18 okay that’s fine so a lot of people will
01:20:21 say wwjd right it’s a logo for
01:20:24 christians right
01:20:25 yeah
01:20:26 so a lot of christians say what would
01:20:28 jesus do i believe a better saying is
01:20:30 what
01:20:31 did jesus do
01:20:33 we don’t know what jesus actually did
01:20:36 and the reasons behind why he did them
01:20:39 we won’t have any
01:20:41 clue what jesus would do in this or that
01:20:43 situation
01:20:45 nor do we really know jesus or
01:20:47 understand him or his ways
01:20:52 if we really know jesus and understand
01:20:54 his ways we can conduct ourselves like
01:20:57 he did while he was tabernacled
01:21:00 i mean you know anyways i won’t get into
01:21:03 that one
01:21:04 here on earth to do the things that he
01:21:05 did i believe that includes festival of
01:21:08 lights okay and then i you know do a
01:21:09 little bit about the high holidays okay
01:21:11 okay um but just i i
01:21:14 i like that little sidetrack
01:21:16 everybody says what would jesus do
01:21:18 most people who say that don’t actually
01:21:20 know what he would do
01:21:22 they don’t know what he did yeah they
01:21:24 don’t know what he did
01:21:26 and they don’t know why he did it on top
01:21:28 of that because some people know
01:21:31 what he did
01:21:32 but even fewer know why he did it
01:21:36 and why he did it is in torah because he
01:21:38 was keeping torah
01:21:40 anyways
01:21:41 okay and then here’s a little bit about
01:21:44 um so
01:21:45 cut i’m not sure um
01:21:48 hanukkah
01:21:49 um
01:21:50 i also do a little bit on here how
01:21:53 uh april 6 is a false tradition of words
01:21:56 added to a historian to the revelation
01:21:58 and not the revelation itself
01:22:01 yeah um and but that’s where
01:22:04 uh brigham lights get april 6 for
01:22:07 yeshua’s birth right is
01:22:09 is the addition
01:22:11 that historian made not the actual words
01:22:14 and that can be shown
01:22:16 from
01:22:17 um the joseph smith papers it shows that
01:22:20 as one place um
01:22:22 anyways
01:22:24 i think why do mark
01:22:26 we’re getting sidetracked okay so here’s
01:22:29 alma
01:22:31 so you want to read the alma verse
01:22:34 yeah sure
01:22:35 you get my elmer burst out so that’s 56
01:22:39 56 41.
01:22:45 yay
01:22:47 okay and it came to pass that again when
01:22:49 the light in the morning came we saw
01:22:51 laminites upon us and we did flee before
01:22:53 them
01:22:56 um
01:22:57 okay so that yeah that’s going with the
01:22:59 imagery from um the earlier genesis
01:23:02 genesis versus right
01:23:06 uh the light of the morning you know
01:23:08 that’s when the day starts life
01:23:13 what so
01:23:15 in these recordings when i i post um
01:23:18 you see light all night
01:23:20 actually what’s 42
01:23:22 let’s do 42.
01:23:23 uh but it came to pass that they did not
01:23:26 pursue us far before they halted and it
01:23:28 was in the morning of the third day of
01:23:30 the seventh month
01:23:39 the light of the morning i think this
01:23:41 just just more going a sunrise is what i
01:23:44 would say right now
01:23:46 when i wrote this i i just morning i
01:23:48 didn’t know the issues of dawn and
01:23:50 sunrise and all that
01:23:56 but
01:23:57 um light of the morning
01:24:00 and when i post these recordings
01:24:02 there’s light all through the night it’s
01:24:05 just it’s
01:24:06 the dispersed
01:24:08 light that’s going through the
01:24:09 atmosphere that happens um which is
01:24:12 partly why you’ll see the moon red at
01:24:15 the full moon
01:24:16 it’s because of the bending and
01:24:18 dispersing of the light
01:24:21 it’s not direct sunlight that makes it
01:24:23 red
01:24:25 and
01:24:26 the light i believe it’s saying here is
01:24:28 the direct sunlight of the morning
01:24:32 but anyways
01:24:34 um
01:24:36 do you want some more book of mormon
01:24:37 verses
01:24:38 yes sir let’s do it
01:24:40 so there’s alma 52 22.
01:24:49 [Music]
01:24:51 therefore he caused the tiankum should
01:24:53 take a small number of men and march
01:24:55 down near the seashore and moroni and
01:24:57 his army by night marched in the
01:24:59 wilderness of on the west of the city in
01:25:01 mulic and thus on the morrow
01:25:04 when the guards of the lamanites had
01:25:06 discovered tiankum they ran and told it
01:25:08 unto jacob their leader
01:25:10 so they did stuff at night
01:25:12 and then the next day tomorrow
01:25:15 is when they told so here’s
01:25:18 the night tomorrow right
01:25:20 yeah tomorrow is
01:25:22 tomorrow
01:25:24 right exactly i mean we can go look it
01:25:25 up in the dictionary
01:25:27 um oh i know the definition oh okay all
01:25:30 right
01:25:31 if you want to do it for zoom that
01:25:33 people that watch later that’s okay
01:25:35 and then i’ll just do it real quick
01:25:36 okay
01:25:38 mommy
01:25:38 [Music]
01:25:46 oh the website’s having a problem now so
01:25:50 not right now
01:25:51 okay
01:25:52 all right but it tomorrow means tomorrow
01:25:55 right yes it does so
01:25:57 it’s the big thing here is they’re doing
01:25:59 stuff at night
01:26:01 and then tomorrow
01:26:04 the night
01:26:05 you’d have to be a whole nother day if
01:26:07 the day started at night right and
01:26:09 that’s not what happened yeah right
01:26:12 yeah and so once you you know the
01:26:14 principle you can see it but until
01:26:16 you’ll you’ll just repast it and not
01:26:18 really think about it right right right
01:26:21 okay so the next one’s alma 58 26-27
01:26:26 58
01:26:27 26-27
01:26:29 okay
01:26:31 now it came to pass that when it was
01:26:32 night i caused that my man should not
01:26:35 sleep but that they should march forward
01:26:37 by another way towards the land of manti
01:26:41 and because of this our march in the
01:26:43 night time behold on the morrow
01:26:46 we were beyond the lamanites in so much
01:26:49 that we did arrive before them in the
01:26:51 city of mantai
01:26:53 same thing they did stuff at night and
01:26:55 then the next day
01:26:58 yeah yep tomorrow yeah on tomorrow
01:27:00 tomorrow tomorrow yep same thing yeah um
01:27:04 so same thing as the previous one it’s
01:27:06 not really big
01:27:08 but
01:27:09 it shows it right
01:27:12 um okay so i don’t know when you want to
01:27:15 go so i don’t know if we should go look
01:27:17 at some bible ones before we go or we
01:27:19 can do that next time or you want to
01:27:21 look at more pokemon
01:27:24 did you say there was something doctrine
01:27:26 covenants not that i’m aware of there
01:27:28 might be
01:27:29 but i don’t i i there’s a whole bunch in
01:27:31 the bible
01:27:33 um well let’s look at some more in the
01:27:34 bible okay
01:27:36 so there’s a couple articles that we
01:27:39 could do um
01:27:41 in fact maybe since i did highlights on
01:27:43 this one i’ll do this one
01:27:44 first um
01:27:47 so in fact
01:27:50 uh
01:27:52 let’s do
01:27:53 instead of just case we run out of time
01:27:55 let’s go to my favorite example which is
01:27:57 mana
01:27:59 so if we have more time we go look at
01:28:01 the other ones but mana
01:28:04 shows that the day starts in the morning
01:28:06 um and we can go through this
01:28:08 if you want um in fact we probably
01:28:11 should
01:28:12 um that’s when they collected it right
01:28:15 they could collect it up to
01:28:18 the morning just before the seventh day
01:28:21 they could collect it which shows that
01:28:23 the day starts in the morning because
01:28:25 they could collect it up to the morning
01:28:28 right
01:28:29 because you weren’t supposed to collect
01:28:30 it on the sabbath
01:28:33 and we can go look at the verses if you
01:28:35 want
01:28:36 let’s look at them sure okay so
01:28:39 there’s a few um
01:28:43 so this this someone else wrote okay
01:28:46 um this is just the highlights that i i
01:28:48 got from it because there was a couple
01:28:49 points that i thought
01:28:51 weren’t very good and he focused on
01:28:54 his theory that the full moon is the new
01:28:56 moon which i disagree with um but
01:28:58 anyways so
01:29:00 so is it that you thinking that
01:29:02 the
01:29:05 which moon is it when you don’t see the
01:29:07 moon
01:29:08 dark
01:29:09 the dark moon
01:29:10 that’s the
01:29:11 that’s the new moon that’s that’s the
01:29:13 start of the month
01:29:14 or moon
01:29:15 is the dark moon the dark conjunction
01:29:19 [Music]
01:29:21 most time you’ll see it just conjunction
01:29:24 because the full mooners that’s a
01:29:26 conjunction too right so that’s why i’ll
01:29:29 say dark conjunction so that there’s no
01:29:31 confusion
01:29:32 some say uh first silver but that comes
01:29:34 from the talmud
01:29:36 um
01:29:37 like 200 a.d give or take if i remember
01:29:40 right but philo
01:29:41 uh from
01:29:43 christ’s time
01:29:45 says conjunction
01:29:47 um and so i i believe that one
01:29:50 um plus it’s it’s during christ’s time
01:29:53 and and philo was highly respected of
01:29:57 the orthodox jews at the time and at
01:30:00 jesus’s time they were doing it
01:30:02 correctly
01:30:03 um but anyways um
01:30:07 so it’s dark conjunction
01:30:08 or
01:30:09 the one that you can’t see okay right
01:30:12 okay um
01:30:14 so exodus 16 4 um i mean you can look it
01:30:17 up in your
01:30:19 bible or you can just read it here it’s
01:30:20 up to you
01:30:22 i’d rather have you read it so that way
01:30:23 i’m not the only one talking
01:30:26 16-4
01:30:28 yeah
01:30:29 okay
01:30:31 then
01:30:32 said yahweh unto moses behold i will
01:30:35 rain bread from heaven for you and the
01:30:37 people shall go out and gather a certain
01:30:39 rate every day
01:30:41 that i may prove them
01:30:43 whether they will walk in my law or no
01:30:45 and it shall come to pass that on the
01:30:47 sixth day they shall prepare that which
01:30:50 they bring in and it shall be twice as
01:30:52 much as they gather do it daily
01:30:54 and moses
01:30:56 and aaron said unto all the children of
01:30:58 israel even
01:31:00 then ye shall know that yahweh hath
01:31:02 brought you out of the land of egypt and
01:31:05 in the morning
01:31:07 there’s that morning again yeah in the
01:31:09 morning you shall see the glory of
01:31:11 yahweh for that he heareth your
01:31:15 murmurings against yahweh and what are
01:31:17 we that ye murmur against us
01:31:22 so you’re aware um just before that
01:31:25 he gave him quail
01:31:27 it was
01:31:29 um
01:31:31 in the morning
01:31:32 that they got the manna
01:31:34 right
01:31:36 meaning evening was one day and the
01:31:38 morning’s another because they didn’t
01:31:40 get quail and manna on the same day
01:31:44 where does it talk about quail just
01:31:46 before this but just barely before it in
01:31:49 the same chapter
01:31:50 i think so if not the previous chapter
01:31:53 um i just know it’s just something
01:31:57 um go back and read it that’s okay
01:32:00 anyways it’s part of the same
01:32:02 um history that quail and meta
01:32:05 because it’s they’re both results of the
01:32:08 same complaint
01:32:14 anyways uh i interrupted i think you’re
01:32:16 in verse seven
01:32:18 okay thanks
01:32:20 um
01:32:22 and are we on eight
01:32:24 yeah i think so and moses said this
01:32:27 shall be when yahweh shall give you in
01:32:30 the evening flesh to eat
01:32:34 and in the morning
01:32:35 bread oh flesh that’s the coil see yeah
01:32:39 okay okay
01:32:40 okay
01:32:42 in the morning bread to the full for
01:32:44 that that for that yahweh here with your
01:32:46 murmurings which ye murmur against him
01:32:49 and what are we your murmurings are not
01:32:52 against us but against yahweh
01:32:55 and moses said take unto aaron say unto
01:32:58 all the congregation of the children of
01:32:59 israel come near before yahweh
01:33:02 for he hath heard your murmurings and it
01:33:04 came to pass that aaron spake unto the
01:33:07 whole congregation of the children of
01:33:09 israel that they looked toward the
01:33:10 wilderness and behold glory of yahweh
01:33:13 appeared in the cloud
01:33:14 and yahweh speak unto moses saying
01:33:17 i’ve heard the murmurings of the
01:33:18 children of israel speak unto them that
01:33:21 even ye shall eat flesh
01:33:24 in the nighttime right
01:33:26 and in the morning
01:33:28 and in the morning ye shall
01:33:29 be filled with bread and ye shall know
01:33:31 that i am
01:33:33 yahweh your elohim
01:33:35 and it came to pass
01:33:38 that
01:33:39 even the coils came up and covered the
01:33:40 can and in the morning
01:33:46 okay
01:33:48 and in the morning the do lay round
01:33:51 about the host
01:33:52 there’s the in the morning there
01:33:56 verse 20 uh is a big one
01:33:59 okay so the 20.
01:34:01 now with standing they
01:34:03 not unto moses but some of them left it
01:34:05 until the morning
01:34:06 and it bred worms and stink and moses
01:34:09 was wroth with them
01:34:11 so they kicked
01:34:13 they had up till the morning to collect
01:34:15 it because that was their day
01:34:16 right right
01:34:18 oh
01:34:20 because the new day started when the
01:34:21 morning came on
01:34:23 gotcha morning gotcha
01:34:25 okay
01:34:26 you got no man leave until the morning
01:34:28 this done it says right there number 19.
01:34:32 now
01:34:33 okay
01:34:36 okay and some of it left of it until the
01:34:38 next morning it bred warm so the old
01:34:40 stuff went bad
01:34:42 yeah super fast in it
01:34:44 this is crazy
01:34:46 yeah you know some people want to say
01:34:49 this miracle is naturalist
01:34:52 but then
01:34:54 why did every day it went bad at
01:34:56 after one 24 hour right or sun sunrise
01:35:00 to sunrise
01:35:01 but then when it came sabbath it lasted
01:35:04 two sunrises
01:35:08 that’s interesting
01:35:10 that’s
01:35:11 that’s not natural
01:35:13 that’s not natural but anyways
01:35:15 a lot of people try to put these things
01:35:17 as naturalistic
01:35:19 if you don’t know enough details you’ll
01:35:21 fall for that if you know enough details
01:35:23 you won’t
01:35:27 thanks for sharing um here’s another
01:35:29 quick example for you and
01:35:32 it comes off across as a story right um
01:35:35 of a little uh some
01:35:37 atheist talking to a little child or an
01:35:38 atheist like
01:35:40 um you know moses couldn’t have parted
01:35:43 the red sea that’s that’s just not
01:35:46 possible
01:35:47 he crossed a little stream
01:35:49 and the little girl responded well that
01:35:51 was a miracle that he drowned the
01:35:54 the armies in a little stream
01:35:59 and so
01:36:01 i mean
01:36:03 the bible and the book of mormon states
01:36:04 that they walked across on dry land
01:36:07 yeah but at least the little girl knew
01:36:09 enough to recognize that what that
01:36:12 atheist was trying
01:36:14 to teach her was wrong because she
01:36:16 remembered enough
01:36:18 although she heard about the dry land
01:36:20 but she remembered the drowning that
01:36:22 helped her realize what that atheist was
01:36:24 trying to push was incorrect yeah
01:36:26 yeah
01:36:30 uh okay so
01:36:32 21 let’s see the next highlighted one i
01:36:35 have is 23 because i’m just looking at
01:36:37 this um okay on the site
01:36:40 and he said unto them
01:36:42 this is that which yahweh has said
01:36:44 tomorrow is the rest of the holy sabbath
01:36:48 unto
01:36:48 the lord
01:36:50 yahweh
01:36:51 bake that which she will bake today and
01:36:54 seed that
01:36:56 ye will seethe and that which remain
01:36:59 over lay up for you to be kept until the
01:37:02 morning until the
01:37:04 morning oh wait
01:37:05 so
01:37:09 see how everything’s off of this point
01:37:11 of mourning whether whatever it is dawn
01:37:14 or sunrise but i’ll say sunrise just you
01:37:17 know because there’s different theories
01:37:19 out there but sunrise
01:37:21 be kept until the sunrise
01:37:25 uh eat
01:37:27 that today for today is a sabbath right
01:37:29 so look
01:37:31 here’s this point where it can’t be
01:37:32 naturalistic because
01:37:35 on the sabbath it didn’t go bad
01:37:38 right
01:37:40 where every other day at the end of the
01:37:42 day
01:37:43 it and it is
01:37:45 i mean i guess it could be naturalist
01:37:47 because it came in the morning it has
01:37:49 always
01:37:50 give or take 24 hours right
01:37:52 and so that could be natural but
01:37:55 on the sabbath it went an extra day
01:37:58 that’s not natural
01:38:00 or or some people say jericho right with
01:38:03 that earth it was an earthquake
01:38:05 oh
01:38:06 it just happened to start with the horn
01:38:08 and it didn’t affect that earthquake
01:38:11 didn’t affect where the israelites were
01:38:13 at
01:38:14 yeah that’s
01:38:17 that’s quite an earthquake
01:38:20 very very localized right
01:38:23 very very localized anyways
01:38:29 so seventh day all right so that mainly
01:38:32 as you can see here
01:38:33 it’s morning there’s always these
01:38:36 points of reference of morning morning
01:38:38 morning they could collect up to the
01:38:40 morning
01:38:41 right right
01:38:43 but they couldn’t collect on this that
01:38:44 means
01:38:45 that would be right right
01:38:48 until the next
01:38:49 morning
01:38:51 so that evening
01:38:52 is the end of the day
01:38:54 that’s what that is
01:38:56 it’s
01:38:57 it’s at the end but it’s not the end
01:38:59 it’s at the it’s the night part of the
01:39:02 day which is the last part it’s the last
01:39:04 part of the day so i’m just being
01:39:06 careful
01:39:07 yeah i’m just being careful with the
01:39:09 word end
01:39:13 if we’re not on the same page n could
01:39:14 mean different things right i understand
01:39:17 yeah
01:39:18 when the day strikes it’s not that’s the
01:39:19 end of the night sure yeah
01:39:22 and like we read in uh earlier uh which
01:39:25 i forgot about that
01:39:27 it’s the day that does the separation
01:39:30 the light right not the dark
01:39:32 yeah um which
01:39:34 and what happened when does day happen
01:39:37 or the light that’s morning whenever you
01:39:39 think that is which i believe sunrise
01:39:43 so
01:39:45 we can look at these other examples in
01:39:46 here if you want probably the next one
01:39:48 though would be best to look at is the
01:39:51 one that the other one that’s
01:39:53 most commonly proof text
01:39:55 which is day of atonement
01:39:58 so i can do it or we can look at the
01:40:00 article
01:40:04 i’m fine either way
01:40:06 because i know enough to do it on my own
01:40:08 or we can just read the article
01:40:11 unless you want to look at that one more
01:40:12 because there’s more examples there but
01:40:16 what i’m thinking i’m going to have to
01:40:17 bail here this my keto is getting eaten
01:40:20 for bed my husband just got home from
01:40:22 work make sure he has something to eat
01:40:24 so i’m gonna have to
01:40:26 go look on my own i’ll have to go oh
01:40:28 okay
01:40:29 um
01:40:31 okay well we can do it next time if you
01:40:33 want um because i i just clicked on the
01:40:36 link and it didn’t work
01:40:38 but
01:40:39 i have saved it i so they’ve made it so
01:40:42 you can’t just copy it
01:40:44 i spent some time about a month ago
01:40:46 getting rid of those restrictions that
01:40:48 they did to make it so i couldn’t copy
01:40:50 it and i copied it so i have it my
01:40:52 onenote even though
01:40:54 it’s not letting me get it right now
01:40:56 okay so as you can see on my screen it
01:40:58 says access to guide so i’ll go register
01:41:01 so i can go see it
01:41:03 okay because i actually like this site i
01:41:05 i like a lot there but it’s sad that
01:41:08 they’re
01:41:09 doing that so i wonder what’s happened
01:41:11 but yeah i did put that one in one note
01:41:14 so i because i i took out their
01:41:16 non-copying restriction
01:41:19 okay
01:41:20 i’m not a web developer but being a
01:41:22 software engineer i’m aware of that
01:41:24 stuff so i know enough that i was able
01:41:27 to figure it out
01:41:28 yeah i got rid of those restrictions and
01:41:30 i copied it um
01:41:36 it’s a big cat and mouse game but
01:41:38 anyways
01:41:41 thank you
01:41:42 you’re welcome
01:41:44 you have a good night it hopefully that
01:41:46 was helpful um we didn’t do too much on
01:41:48 the bible one but we did a little bit
01:41:49 and we can do more next time if you want
01:41:51 to
01:41:52 sounds good
01:41:53 thanks you’re welcome take care bye
