Summary:

Torah is the song of all songs. Pray for the promises in Torah. Women can be decans. Spirit can mean behavior. Meek means the righteous. Goes along with king Benjaman stating we need to watch out thoughts and our deeds. Mind goes with the Holy Spirit / Torah. Joseph Smith taught it is not good to repent daily. Spirit is about being born again. Trust in YHWH promises. Faith is trust and diligence. Church president and counselors are paid. We are need to do our part. YHWH helps those who trust Him. Faith causes people to do good works. Faith, hope and charity all come together. Don’t need things of the world. Don’t go after things that go against Torah. World means system. The song of the righteous is a pray. The key is righteous. Many Psalms from David is about Torah. Psalms 119 is about keeping Torah. Meek are those who keep Torah. The church is the bride of Christ, thus the husband is Yeshua. Torah states we should not be trying to find sins of others, but if we see some we are required to call repentance. Crown of righteousness is Celestial glory. We all are to keep YHWH’s Torah. Song of Moses talks about how YHWH takes on Israel’s sins and burdens. Israel is those who keep YHWH’s Torah. Rock is symbolic of Yeshua, Torah, and Revelation. Sodom and Gomorrah committed the abomination and desolation. Taking joy in the things of Satan. Vengeance belongs to YHWH and is different than righteous judgement. Yeshua is going to take our sins upon Himself. The Song of Moses teaches the idea of the Savior. Jews were looking for the second coming instead of the first. Law of Moses and Torah are different. Make alive goes with sanctification, I heal goes with justification, wounding goes along with misjudging Yeshua, I kill goes with sons of perdition. Torah is eternal. Punishments don’t have to be eternal. Final judgement is final. Yeshua is going to make Torah effective for all men because of His blood. Everyone who received a mortal body will be resurrected. Those who comes under Yeshua covering is who He did the atonement for. Salivation is a gift, the glory you receive is dependent on how much you become like Him. If you don’t try to emulate Yeshua, do you really look up to Him? Elisha has history that points to the Second Coming that deals with arrows. Two meanings of devouring the flesh. Lots of Millennium prophecy in the song of Moses. Some history of how the Isaiah 27 post came about. There are things about the second coming that are not nice, but they are necessarily with the workings of Torah. The book of Joshua is a type of part of the coming of Zion. YHWH uses the wicked to punish the wicked, He also uses the righteous to punish the wicked. The sacrifices of animals are to teach about Yeshua and His atonement for us. We are here to learn physically. Animal sacrifices are coming back. I, Steven, believe the animal sacrifice are eternal and will continue after mortality. Animals will not be resurrected. Yeshua took upon Himself out guilt, we need to take upon ourselves His character. Yeshua in Sermon on Torah teach we should not teach against Torah. Fulfil cannot mean destroy. Greek behind Fulfil means fully preach. If one fulfils the requirements to go to college, one does not get rid of the requirements for others. Matthew 3 fully preaching because baptism is part of the plan. The symbolism of baptism does teach of the gospel. Baptism is being fulling immersed in water, water represents Yeshua’s teachings, and we are to fully immerse ourselves in Yeshua’s Torah. Yeshua is consistent. Yeshua is our perfect example of how to keep Torah. We should keep Torah as Yeshua kept Torah. Perfect goes with the perfect Torah. Charity is another word for keeping Torah. Scriptures teach we need to be righteous to be Yeshua’s presence in His kingdom. Moroni 7 brings out how faith, hope and charity come at the same time. Hope goes with trust, charity goes diligence. Sanctification is keeping Torah. Justification is wanting to keep Torah. Sensationalism without the fruits will simply condemn you more. Second Comforter is being told from YHWH’s own mouth that you will receive eternal life in way or another. Nephi uses his power to try to get others to repent. Was not a big showy thing. Sealing Power is according to what Heaven has already decreed. We are not to do judgements according to our own whims.

Notes:

Repentance is a thing that cannot be trifled with every day. Daily transgression and daily repentance is not that which is pleasing in the sight of God [Elohim].

00:00:02 okay well it was interesting as we were
00:00:05 listening to songs uh during our the
00:00:08 sacrament portion of our meeting
00:00:10 tonight uh a interesting comment was
00:00:13 made and that is that Torah is the song
00:00:16 of all songs and I have a verse of
00:00:19 scripture that came directly from yah
00:00:24 himself
00:00:27 um to Emma Smith
00:00:31 this is the section that is given
00:00:33 directly to
00:00:36 Emma um yeah he’s giving her the
00:00:40 assignment to gather and select sacred
00:00:44 hymns but he goes one step
00:00:49 further prayer is supposed to be
00:00:53 informed and be from
00:00:57 Torah what is Torah it is
00:01:02 expound that just a little bit um so
00:01:04 along those lines the promises that we
00:01:06 are to pray for are the promises that
00:01:10 are within yahweh’s word right you can’t
00:01:14 this idea that you can pray some girl to
00:01:17 love
00:01:18 you is is it’s no it’s not that’s
00:01:21 straight from by the way that thought is
00:01:23 straight from Satan because you’re using
00:01:26 a uh technique called
00:01:28 manifestation and that just does not
00:01:32 work that makes sense that that is not
00:01:36 yahweh’s way that is right and we’re not
00:01:40 to pray to be rich in fact the promises
00:01:43 in the scriptures or his word is Torah
00:01:47 is that he’ll take care of us not that
00:01:50 we’ll make sure our needs are taken care
00:01:52 of not that
00:01:56 noty so so Stephen brings out a very
00:02:02 excellent point there so thank you sir
00:02:04 uh in that
00:02:06 expounding and so just to give some
00:02:09 context here Yahweh is giving Emma
00:02:12 calling Emma an elect lady giving her an
00:02:16 assignment and he goes another step in
00:02:21 saying yeah you’re to select sacred
00:02:25 hymns but he gives an idea of what what
00:02:31 those hymns are to express right so in
00:02:35 verse let’s start in verse
00:02:37 11 actually let’s start in
00:02:41 verse 10 so now the one thing that mun’s
00:02:46 good at go to the top and go see what
00:02:49 sections within the verse that you want
00:02:51 those section dividers by mcon are
00:02:54 actually pretty
00:02:55 good
00:02:57 MH so he’s saying seven through 11 he’s
00:03:01 saying 7 through 11 but 12 is the song
00:03:05 of the righteous the song of the
00:03:07 righteousness of prayer 12 through
00:03:10 14
00:03:11 is maybe go start at seven though
00:03:14 because it does look like those two
00:03:17 related with each other verse seven
00:03:18 let’s start at verse seven that’s a
00:03:19 great idea great idea so and thou shalt
00:03:22 be ordained under his hand to expound
00:03:25 scripture so she is receiving the call
00:03:28 to be a deacon because this is the
00:03:31 responsibility of a deacon yeah yeah and
00:03:34 we we maybe later we can go over more of
00:03:36 this but let’s do your main thought and
00:03:38 then and the word here is
00:03:42 ordained yes under his hand anyway but
00:03:46 that’s for and on the reason Ben kind of
00:03:49 made a point about ordained is because
00:03:51 ordained is a priesthood word
00:03:54 yes yes so she’s receiving the ironic
00:03:58 priesthood here and she’s to exhort the
00:04:02 church according as it shall be given
00:04:04 her
00:04:06 by
00:04:08 my spirit slash
00:04:12 Torah
00:04:15 Behavior what say what slash Behavior
00:04:18 Behavior yes that so the big thing that
00:04:22 helped me realize it’s Torah is that
00:04:25 Spirit actually does mean
00:04:27 Behavior yeah so I maybe we can show
00:04:31 that real quick if yeah go ahead you
00:04:34 want you want to take over yeah I’ll
00:04:36 take it a
00:04:40 minute so let’s just go 1828 dictionary
00:04:44 yeah oops
00:04:59 [Music]
00:05:04 okay so let’s pause for a minute while
00:05:06 we find which definition so that way we
00:05:08 don’t have to go through all
00:05:11 these okay so we skim this real quick
00:05:15 we’ll just focus on the ones that are
00:05:16 actually go with it but people are
00:05:18 welcome to go look at all of them if
00:05:20 they want I’ll put the links in the
00:05:22 notes but so number four temper
00:05:27 disposition of Mind habitual or temp
00:05:29 hurry as a man of Genius or
00:05:33 generous generous Spirit of a REV or a
00:05:37 revengeful Spirit those goes with
00:05:40 behavior of Meek quiet Spirit Meek is a
00:05:44 behavior because Meek goes with
00:05:50 righteousness uh let us go to the house
00:05:53 of eloh in the spirit of prayer so
00:05:55 behavior of hair
00:05:58 right uh so Josh will you read number
00:06:01 eight sure Turn of Mind temper occasions
00:06:07 state of the Mind a perfect judge will
00:06:10 read each work of wit with the same
00:06:14 spirit that its author
00:06:18 writ yeah so Spirit that’s going to be
00:06:21 uh the
00:06:23 purpose Turn of Mind we do things
00:06:26 because of our mind in our temper right
00:06:29 right and state of
00:06:32 mind this this is why we’re told by this
00:06:35 is why King Benjamin instructed his
00:06:37 people to watch their thoughts and their
00:06:39 words and their deeds because it’s our
00:06:42 thoughts it’s our thoughts that turn our
00:06:46 words and our
00:06:47 Deeds yep yeah uh Ben will you read
00:06:52 10 sure let’s see here sentiment
00:06:58 perception uh
00:07:00 you Spirit you spirit is too true your
00:07:03 fears too certain nice typo all right
00:07:07 your spirit is too true your fear is too
00:07:10 certain okay uh is kind of uh your
00:07:14 disposition right yeah yeah sentiment
00:07:18 actually is your out sentiment has to do
00:07:21 with your outlook yes it’s more about
00:07:24 what you’re thinking than about what
00:07:27 you’re then same with same with
00:07:30 perception almost but that that does
00:07:33 change how you behave yeah it can inform
00:07:37 can inform yes right um especially if
00:07:40 you happen to combine that perception
00:07:42 with a little perspective yes yes yep so
00:07:48 Zach you want to do
00:07:56 13 go ahead
00:08:00 persons distinguished by qualities of
00:08:03 the
00:08:04 Mind such
00:08:06 Spirits as he desired to please
00:08:10 such what I choose from my
00:08:14 judges so one thing that I would say
00:08:16 that supports us here is how on lectures
00:08:20 on faith
00:08:25 five it brings out how the holy spirit
00:08:28 is the mind right it is the mind and
00:08:31 will oh yeah mind and will yeah so and
00:08:36 that is the and that is what allows us
00:08:38 to become one
00:08:44 with
00:08:46 because we can adopt his mind and will
00:08:49 through be through through the constant
00:08:53 through constant adaption of the Holy
00:08:57 Behavior the holy thought pattern yeah
00:09:01 so here’s just a a small quote from El
00:09:03 on faith 52 which mind is the holy
00:09:06 spirit okay yep so it’s a long verse we
00:09:09 don’t need to read it all but
00:09:11 anyways um so I’ll read
00:09:15 16
00:09:17 something amenity eminently
00:09:21 eminently oh boy yes that word yes yes
00:09:25 that word pure and
00:09:27 refined um
00:09:29 which goes along how uh we’re to um
00:09:34 purify our Behavior our actions our
00:09:37 thoughts and everything nor does the eye
00:09:40 itself the most pure Spirit of sense
00:09:42 behold
00:09:44 itself um yeah so the big thing is about
00:09:48 how we’re supposed to continue to
00:09:49 improve all
00:09:52 right and to get
00:09:54 refined now does this mean that we
00:09:57 should be does this mean that we are
00:10:00 necessarily going to need more does this
00:10:02 mean that we’re going to need more and
00:10:03 more Mercy every day no you’re Contin
00:10:06 improving you’ll need less okay so uh
00:10:09 along those lines let’s get a quote from
00:10:12 Joseph Smith about repentance real quick
00:10:16 yes oh yeah um so because I I I probably
00:10:21 did not say the best which is why Ben
00:10:23 wanted to clarify which is good and it’s
00:10:26 uh because I didn’t say it the best but
00:10:28 we’re going to clear it up and Ben’s
00:10:29 right to want to clear it up so uh I’ll
00:10:32 read this this is from Joseph Smith
00:10:34 repentance is a thing that cannot be
00:10:37 trifled with every day daily
00:10:40 transgressions and daily repentance is
00:10:43 not that which is pleasing in the sight
00:10:45 of Elohim uh Joseph Smith and the words
00:10:48 of Joseph Smith deluxe edition so anyway
00:10:52 well that’s because because if we’re
00:10:53 truly working for for Perfection we root
00:10:57 out the things that keep us from there
00:11:00 correct and we get rid of them all
00:11:04 together yes or more importantly more
00:11:08 importantly we turn our
00:11:10 Focus to that which we desire to become
00:11:14 we be we and we start adopting the
00:11:18 behavior you you you we only have room
00:11:21 for one set of behavior at a time right
00:11:25 right so when we adopt the be when when
00:11:28 we adopt the
00:11:30 behavior that is
00:11:34 Holy the behavior that is Unholy we do
00:11:37 not have room for right
00:11:43 correct Zach you want to read 20 and I
00:11:46 think this is a good one that shows goes
00:11:49 along with behavior personally
00:11:51 but the renewed nature
00:11:54 man uh that’s like born again right heck
00:11:58 yeah and when you’re born again you do
00:12:01 things differently all right
00:12:06 yep shall take shall I take over again
00:12:10 yes yeah all right let me
00:12:15 uh we will go back to Doctrine and
00:12:19 Covenants 25 so with that in mind we’ll
00:12:23 read verse 7even again and thou shalt be
00:12:25 ordained under his hand to expound
00:12:27 scriptures and to exhort the church
00:12:31 these are the responsibilities of a
00:12:32 deacon which we can find in section 20
00:12:35 according as it shall be given thee by
00:12:38 my spirit
00:12:40 Behavior Torah for he shall lay his
00:12:43 hands upon thee once again reiterating
00:12:47 the fact that she is receiving a
00:12:49 priesthood
00:12:51 ordinance um and thou shalt receive the
00:12:56 holy ghost or Behavior or Spirit or
00:13:02 Torah yeah it’s just reiterating what
00:13:05 was just said in the last verse right in
00:13:08 a way and thy time shall be given to
00:13:13 writing and to learning much and thou
00:13:17 needest not fear for thy husband uh th
00:13:20 and thou needest not fear for thy
00:13:22 husband shall support thee in the church
00:13:25 for unto them is his calling that all
00:13:28 things might be revealed unto them
00:13:32 whatsoever uh I will according to their
00:13:36 faith I think it’s important uh for ver
00:13:39 uh the there’s an important
00:13:41 understanding of all things that’s
00:13:43 important for understanding verse
00:13:45 nine that is the all things
00:13:49 um translated into it’s it’s transl the
00:13:53 wording is in translation to English is
00:13:56 all things but it’s a Hebrew idiom
00:13:59 uh pointing the Torah correct and that
00:14:02 would apply here um so uh that all
00:14:07 things might be revealed unto them that
00:14:10 Torah shall be revealed unto
00:14:13 them also but this is also important
00:14:16 whatsoever I
00:14:18 will there is a condition yeah there
00:14:23 Faith their diligent
00:14:26 obedience right and the the big
00:14:29 I say it goes along with it might
00:14:33 because I do think that it is that just
00:14:36 as important as our diligent obedience
00:14:39 is our trust yes Bedrock solid trust
00:14:45 that if we keep yah’s Commandments yah
00:14:49 will provide the blessings that he has
00:14:51 promised that he will provide for those
00:14:53 who will keep his Commandments there has
00:14:55 to be that Bedrock solid
00:14:58 Trust because that’s
00:15:00 Faith uh yeah and otherwise you’re just
00:15:03 doing stuff yeah is I think most of us
00:15:06 here in this group Define faith as faith
00:15:09 is trust in diligence yes right and that
00:15:13 includes trusting the promises and how
00:15:16 to get it and stuff like that which
00:15:18 includes being
00:15:19 diligent
00:15:21 right um and so moving on into wa wait
00:15:24 wait wait so one thing goad uh this is a
00:15:28 little controversial so I’ll just say it
00:15:30 real quick he shall support the in the
00:15:34 church Joseph Smith was the head bishop
00:15:38 or president of the church and so he
00:15:41 does get
00:15:43 compensation and so it’s kind of hidden
00:15:47 and embedded in there but that
00:15:50 that’s the head of the church the
00:15:53 president and his counselors who are top
00:15:56 Bishops do get to get paid yeah
00:16:01 so moving on to verse 10 um let’s see
00:16:06 here and verily I say unto thee that
00:16:09 thou shalt lay aside the things of this
00:16:11 world and seek for the things of a
00:16:17 better hold on hold on
00:16:20 I something is kind of bothering me a
00:16:23 little bit go ahead here
00:16:26 so Ben I agree with you that we do have
00:16:30 to have that Bedrock trust that we will
00:16:33 receive the
00:16:34 blessings that our diligence in keeping
00:16:38 the Commandments
00:16:39 brings but we
00:16:41 also are required to perform as well
00:16:46 right well I don’t think changing the
00:16:49 performance it’s it’s not like we sit
00:16:51 here and say I trust that I will be fed
00:16:55 and clothed and housed and
00:16:58 all of this will happen and not do
00:17:02 anything ourselves to help make it and
00:17:06 if people actually understood the
00:17:07 scriptures there’s plenty examples where
00:17:10 Yahweh says you need to do your part and
00:17:13 then ask me for my part so right maybe
00:17:17 I’m misunderstanding and maybe maybe I’m
00:17:19 taking things the wrong way or out of
00:17:21 context yeah it’s Ben’s not short Chang
00:17:24 I don’t think Ben’s short changing the
00:17:26 fact that we still have do you’re not
00:17:30 just you’re not yeah you’re not just uh
00:17:34 yeah okay I don’t think I don’t think
00:17:37 that uh yeah i’ I’m I’ve never said that
00:17:41 but what but this idea but what I do um
00:17:46 what I do press back
00:17:49 against is this non-scriptural
00:17:52 idea that God helps those who help
00:17:55 themselves oh okay yeah I I got you
00:17:58 that’s what he’s pushing back against
00:18:00 with that I think the reason why he
00:18:05 threw the trust in there is because I
00:18:07 neglected to add it as part of the TR of
00:18:12 the
00:18:12 definition that we have so the def the
00:18:15 full definition of faith is that
00:18:20 trust Bedrock trust in yaha along with
00:18:25 diligent obedience yeah and so it’s more
00:18:29 it’s because you can be D you can be
00:18:32 diligently obedient without that trust
00:18:34 and you’re just doing stuff right right
00:18:37 so okay okay I see okay all right I see
00:18:40 what you were trying to say that’s why I
00:18:43 threw that little bit on there at the
00:18:44 end if you don’t have that trust you’re
00:18:46 just doing stuff right so yeah that just
00:18:50 didn’t click with me when
00:18:53 youb him the wrong way yeah that’s fine
00:18:56 so well let me say a couple things yeah
00:18:58 um the idea that Yahweh helps those who
00:19:01 help themselves that’s not
00:19:04 scriptural I’ll repent I’ve said that in
00:19:06 the past I don’t anymore but what the
00:19:09 scriptures do say is that Yahweh helps
00:19:11 those who have faith in
00:19:15 him which is trust and diligence so
00:19:21 now part of having faith is doing your
00:19:26 utmost right yes because that’s the
00:19:28 diligence part right the diligence part
00:19:32 I just I just got things a little
00:19:34 twisted there yeah um let’s let me let’s
00:19:36 do one more thing open a new tab so
00:19:38 control t or hit the Plus at the top
00:19:42 yeah yeah you know and then 12 Hebrews
00:19:46 12 you said ether 12 ether 12 my bad my
00:19:51 bad let me go back no no it uh it’s the
00:19:55 second line back oh yeah yeah yeah there
00:19:58 you go there you go uh
00:20:03 okay 12 coming
00:20:07 along and uh just at this beginning this
00:20:11 will describe people uh what happens
00:20:16 when they actually have faith and okay
00:20:20 with trust and diligence what it causes
00:20:22 them to do it actually causes them to
00:20:24 work um and so maybe just giving this
00:20:27 let’s do verse four
00:20:29 yes well that’s what I was
00:20:31 gonna GNA say um wherefore whosoever
00:20:35 believeth in Elohim might with assurity
00:20:38 hope now when we go look at i7
00:20:41 this could be another thing time
00:20:45 um that you faith hope and charity all
00:20:48 come at once okay
00:20:52 yes uh so but anyways uh Elohim might
00:20:56 wish shity hope for a better world yeah
00:20:58 even a place at the right hand of Elohim
00:21:02 which H cometh of Faith maketh an anchor
00:21:05 to The Souls of men which would make
00:21:07 them sure and
00:21:09 steadfast always ounding in good works
00:21:12 being led to glorify eloh in good
00:21:18 works good works
00:21:20 are good works are defined as the holy
00:21:24 Behavior right right right because other
00:21:28 wi like you said before Ben you’re just
00:21:31 out there in the wind doing stuff yeah
00:21:33 right I mean you can do all the right
00:21:36 things for the wrong reasons and it
00:21:37 will’t and and it won’t it’ll profit you
00:21:40 nothing yeah it will profit you
00:21:43 nothing as it also says in the scripture
00:21:46 okay so I just I just got what you were
00:21:49 saying a little twisted that’s all okay
00:21:51 all right so let me oh we’re here good
00:21:56 all righty so
00:21:59 and verily I say unto theee in 10 verily
00:22:02 I say unto thee that thou shalt lay
00:22:03 aside the things of this world or the
00:22:08 cares of this world and no no that’s not
00:22:12 everything those are just the
00:22:14 worldly no that’s what I’m saying okay
00:22:17 the when I say the cares of this world
00:22:19 it’s those things that we are like oh my
00:22:22 God paying bills you know kind of you
00:22:25 know or I need because there’s a thing
00:22:28 about about paying bills okay that’s in
00:22:31 the I I I need the latest and greatest
00:22:35 phone right the latest the next hot
00:22:39 video game
00:22:41 or I need the newest car yeah or I need
00:22:45 to see the latest movie or I need to
00:22:49 plan for my next vacation trip or
00:22:53 something like that yeah so yeah so
00:22:54 notice the wording is things yeah not
00:22:59 well yeah yeah okay anyways that’s a
00:23:02 minor thing yeah unended and seek for
00:23:06 the things of a better so the the thing
00:23:10 is to go off of on this thing
00:23:14 [Laughter]
00:23:18 thing
00:23:20 um now when all things is revealed to be
00:23:23 Torah what are the things of this
00:23:25 world things that in that same
00:23:28 understand M of understanding the things
00:23:30 that go
00:23:31 against yeah that would be sin things
00:23:34 that go against that would that would be
00:23:37 the that would be the
00:23:41 um that would be the laws that are not
00:23:43 of God that would be the things that are
00:23:45 not of God the precepts that are not of
00:23:48 God because Torah is laws precepts
00:23:52 judgments
00:23:54 statutes um I I I would
00:23:58 here’s what I’ll say I think it goes
00:24:00 along with what you’re saying just as in
00:24:02 the garden we are told to eat of every
00:24:05 that we could eat of every tree except
00:24:09 the tree of knowledge of Good and Evil
00:24:11 yeah right we we are
00:24:15 actually told to go eat of these other
00:24:18 things these other fruits these other
00:24:20 activities the things that we were told
00:24:21 not to do are is what is of sin yes PR
00:24:26 the precepts and the evils of this world
00:24:29 that is what the things of this world
00:24:31 are well so like skydiving of course
00:24:35 that’s not not S A precept but I that’s
00:24:38 not a precept that’s a okay so science
00:24:40 so science has its pros and cons it’s
00:24:43 not necessarily evil but a lot of people
00:24:46 do use it for evil but it could be used
00:24:48 for good also okay right uh and but
00:24:51 there the thing is that there’s thing
00:24:54 science science does a pretty decent job
00:24:56 of describing some things of the nature
00:25:00 some things of the way that we can
00:25:03 observe the workings of God in this
00:25:06 world uh right right and so it has how
00:25:08 put
00:25:09 together uh science though does have
00:25:12 precepts so it does it does and science
00:25:16 is a good
00:25:18 estimation um of how things Works which
00:25:21 is it’s not exact truth but there’s also
00:25:26 things where I do think a good good part
00:25:28 of Science and this is a whole another
00:25:30 discussion where they’re justifying
00:25:32 their occult beliefs but anyways yes uh
00:25:36 so and that’s where I say that science
00:25:39 veers into the thing where they’re doing
00:25:41 that that’s where science is veering
00:25:42 into the things of the of this world
00:25:44 yeah uh sure sure as in because the way
00:25:48 I mean we’re probably saying the same
00:25:50 thing just differently it’s the my
00:25:53 problem is when it goes against Torah
00:25:56 right that’s where I
00:25:58 yeah so the things you guys are yeah
00:26:01 we’re basically saying the same thing
00:26:02 and basically the things of this world
00:26:04 are that which pull us away from God
00:26:07 from the holy behavior from Torah from
00:26:08 the spirit P out of the spirit pull us
00:26:11 away from the better things yes yes the
00:26:14 things of a better world yes yeah yeah
00:26:17 and one thing um world is a is a system
00:26:22 of people a governance it it’s not
00:26:24 necessarily the world in itself because
00:26:27 that that’s Earth the world is a system
00:26:30 but yeah yeah yeah yeah world doesn’t
00:26:34 necessarily mean the Earth upon which
00:26:36 you stand it can just mean systems and
00:26:39 what have you right so uh in verse 11
00:26:44 moving on in verse 11 and it shall be
00:26:47 given thee also to make a selection of
00:26:50 sacred hymns now interestingly enough
00:26:53 the calling is that it will be
00:26:56 given to her her in the moment as to
00:27:01 which hymns are good and right and true
00:27:05 and which are not as it shall be given
00:27:08 thee which is pleasing unto me to be had
00:27:13 in my
00:27:17 church for my soul delighteth in the
00:27:20 song of the heart yay the song of the
00:27:24 righteous is a prayer unto me and it
00:27:27 shall be answered with a blessing upon
00:27:30 their heads this
00:27:31 screams of the promises of Torah the
00:27:35 song of the righteous yeah and the big
00:27:38 key there is righteous right yeah yeah
00:27:43 but also but yeah the key is righteous
00:27:46 but also at the end there and it shall
00:27:49 be answered with a blessing upon their
00:27:51 heads if you keep
00:27:52 Torah as it states so many times in the
00:27:55 book of Deuteronomy if you keep the
00:27:58 these things there shall be a blessing
00:28:01 that comes upon your
00:28:03 heads but if you keep them not that’s
00:28:06 when the cursings come but anyway but
00:28:09 that’s what that’s like almost straight
00:28:12 from the book of Deuteronomy almost in
00:28:14 away but using different a different way
00:28:18 of expressing I think it’s I think it’s
00:28:21 interesting because it goes along with
00:28:23 what uh we were the song we were kind of
00:28:26 listening to earlier you know the song
00:28:31 of songs is Torah
00:28:34 yeah right and if the song of your heart
00:28:38 is a righteous song it will be Torah
00:28:41 just like the song the song that is in
00:28:44 your heart is Torah you will be keeping
00:28:47 Torah because as you said Ben we only
00:28:51 have room for one type of behavior at a
00:28:53 time yes
00:28:55 right so if we are in that Holy Behavior
00:28:59 we will receive the blessings of
00:29:01 obedience so along those what you’re
00:29:04 saying there many of the Psalms from
00:29:06 David is about Torah in fact one of the
00:29:10 most famous ones Psalms 119 is about
00:29:14 keeping Torah thatst about that don’t I
00:29:18 every verse in it every verse every
00:29:20 verse in it is about Torah yeah yeah
00:29:24 every verse in Psalms 119 which people
00:29:27 even still Love Today is about keeping
00:29:31 Torah um but I I I bet you most people
00:29:36 don’t understand
00:29:39 it I guar there’s a dir of understanding
00:29:42 in the world there is just so um I think
00:29:48 that really the rest of the section
00:29:52 should be read because that it’s really
00:29:54 good this is how these are the terms and
00:29:57 conditions
00:30:00 there it’s given to Emma Smith but
00:30:02 there’s things in here that each of us
00:30:05 can gain wisdom from exactly yeah
00:30:08 there’s most of this applies to
00:30:10 everybody some of it is specific for her
00:30:13 right 13 wherefore lift up thy heart and
00:30:17 rejoice and cleave unto the covenants
00:30:20 which thou Hast
00:30:22 made continue in the spirit of meekness
00:30:26 and beware of Pride
00:30:28 let thy Soul Delight in thy husband and
00:30:31 the glory which shall come upon him keep
00:30:35 my command wow that’s that’s a really
00:30:38 remarkably
00:30:39 prophetic thing for the church let thy
00:30:44 Soul Delight in thy
00:30:47 husband so here this has multiple
00:30:50 meanings and I think Ben is do you want
00:30:52 to bring it out or do you want me to uh
00:30:55 what I’m bringing out here is
00:31:00 the church is the bride of
00:31:02 Christ it’s the wife of
00:31:08 Christ hence the husband is Yeshua yes
00:31:12 the husband is Yeshua let thy Soul
00:31:16 Delight in Yeshua
00:31:18 hamia and the glory which shall come
00:31:21 upon
00:31:23 him for he will rule on this Earth in
00:31:27 the the glory of the
00:31:30 father here’s the thing he’s outlining
00:31:33 his katuba here too in verse 15 wait
00:31:36 wait wait before we go on Meek is uh
00:31:42 those who keep Torah and it’s
00:31:44 interesting who continue in the behavior
00:31:47 of Torah yes right and also in
00:31:53 humility continue in humility in
00:31:56 obedience they don’t get puffed up in
00:31:59 Pride because of their OB such a good
00:32:02 person right in addition uh Torah
00:32:07 actually brings out how you shouldn’t
00:32:08 just be looking out for sins of other
00:32:11 people like looking at people’s lies
00:32:14 through a magnifying glass to be always
00:32:16 finding their sins fault with other yeah
00:32:19 yeah yeah
00:32:21 yeah that that said when somebody makes
00:32:23 their sin
00:32:26 manifest if you love them you’ll you’ll
00:32:28 call them to book on it right right
00:32:30 right but there and this could be a
00:32:32 tricky thing for some people
00:32:35 right you’re you’re not looking for it
00:32:38 it’s just if you notice it right right
00:32:42 right if you notice it you
00:32:45 are uh required to say something because
00:32:49 otherwise you’re not operating in the
00:32:50 spirit of meekness no and you’re not
00:32:52 operating in the spirit of of love
00:32:55 either yeah yeah are we ready to move on
00:32:59 to verse 15 yeah okay here’s where he
00:33:04 outlines his
00:33:05 kba keep my Commandments
00:33:09 continually oh wait that do you think
00:33:12 that continually there goes with the
00:33:13 other continue that had to do with oh
00:33:16 absolutely
00:33:18 absolutely yeah continue in
00:33:21 the
00:33:23 continually leave unto the covenants
00:33:25 which thou Hast made three different
00:33:27 ways of saying the same thing leave
00:33:31 continually yep and here’s the beautiful
00:33:35 thing and a crown of
00:33:38 righteousness Thou shalt receive now I
00:33:42 will say that crown of righteousness is
00:33:44 the celestial Glory right because this
00:33:48 clarifies it and except thou do this
00:33:50 where I am you cannot
00:33:53 come yeah which goes along with the
00:33:56 three degrees of Glory right Y and
00:33:59 verily verily I say unto you that this
00:34:03 is my voice unto all and there it
00:34:08 is he just said practically everything
00:34:12 in this is for
00:34:14 everybody now especially this last
00:34:16 little part right
00:34:21 yes yes that song of the
00:34:24 righteous is you know I was just
00:34:27 thinking about
00:34:28 Torah being the song of all
00:34:30 songs and then I thought about the song
00:34:32 of
00:34:34 Moses how he
00:34:39 prophesies the god of God
00:34:43 himself coming to Earth taking theoric
00:34:47 burden of our
00:34:52 guilt upon himself he be sin
00:34:58 that’s what the song of Moses is
00:35:00 about uh do you want to go look at some
00:35:03 of it Ben yeah let’s let’s look at some
00:35:06 of that okay so I’m gonna pause while we
00:35:08 get it ready okay yeah
00:35:11 okay okay so we had to go through the
00:35:14 song we talk when we broke off the
00:35:17 recording I was talking about how the
00:35:18 song of Moses talks about how God
00:35:21 himself takes on the toric burden for
00:35:24 Israel uh and will heal them and bring
00:35:27 them back to him uh by the
00:35:35 way God’s people is not determined by
00:35:39 whose loins you squirted out
00:35:41 of God’s people is determined by whether
00:35:45 or not you are obedient to God’s ways
00:35:48 that is what makes
00:35:52 Israel your blood matters not if you
00:35:56 will not obey
00:35:58 and this is the point this is why I want
00:36:01 to this is why I want to start in verse
00:36:03 31 of the song of Moses because Israel
00:36:05 here
00:36:08 is it talks about the Vengeance of the
00:36:11 Lord upon Israel talks about how he
00:36:14 corrects Israel and then how he takes
00:36:16 the judgment and heals
00:36:19 them so we start in verse 31 so the song
00:36:22 of Moses is the whole chapter but this
00:36:24 is the part that Ben wants to focus we
00:36:28 know we’re not going to have time we
00:36:29 don’t have time for the whole chapter
00:36:31 yeah
00:36:32 um so we’re starting in verse 31 uh for
00:36:36 their rock is not as our Rock even our
00:36:40 enemies themselves being
00:36:44 judges
00:36:46 so they’ve turned away from the rock
00:36:49 yeah as in Yeshua and his ways yes
00:36:53 because Rock goes uh towards both um
00:36:58 so
00:36:59 yeah um because Upon This Rock you’ll
00:37:02 build my church it also by the way the
00:37:06 rock was not Peter no it wasn’t Rock
00:37:09 goes with
00:37:11 Yeshua Torah and
00:37:15 Revelation that’s that’s
00:37:18 um multiple things that rock goes
00:37:21 towards right so for their Vine is of
00:37:25 the vine of Sodom and of the fields of
00:37:28 gorah their grapes are grapes of Gull
00:37:31 their clusters are bitter so
00:37:34 here the tie back to Sodom and Gomorrah
00:37:36 and according to Ezekiel this primary
00:37:39 sins of Sodom and Gomorrah uh weren’t
00:37:44 homosexuality it’s one of them they had
00:37:47 that was homosexuality is a
00:37:49 manifestation of the primary sin well
00:37:52 that’s everything’s a manifestation of
00:37:55 Pride so yeah and and it and that was
00:37:59 the great sin of Sodom and Gomorrah they
00:38:01 placed themselves uh they placed
00:38:04 themselves and their um desires and
00:38:08 their consumption yeah so along with
00:38:11 what Ben is saying
00:38:14 they they did abomination of desolation
00:38:17 they fully rejected their God and His
00:38:21 waves and that’s when it’s time to get
00:38:25 destroyed they’re wh is the poison of
00:38:30 dragons in other words their Doctrine is
00:38:34 the doctrine of
00:38:38 demons and the cruel Venom of
00:38:42 asps
00:38:48 snakes and this is the case with
00:38:50 practically every Church extent today
00:38:54 yeah so this is kind of symbolic uh
00:38:58 meaning here wine is Joy so they’re
00:39:01 taking joy in the things of
00:39:04 Satan
00:39:10 yes is not this laid up in store with me
00:39:13 and sealed up among my
00:39:15 treasures see this is what they’re
00:39:17 asking themselves hey we’re all good he
00:39:20 said we’re his people we’re descended of
00:39:22 the right loins right oh wait a minute
00:39:25 something didn’t someone say so that
00:39:27 like that in the New
00:39:29 Testament
00:39:31 yeah and this is and this is y’s
00:39:35 response to me belongeth Vengeance and
00:39:41 recompense their foot shall slide in due
00:39:43 time for the day of their Calamity is at
00:39:46 hand and the things that shall come upon
00:39:48 them make
00:39:51 haste yes and the one thing that I think
00:39:56 um more people should remember is who
00:40:00 Vengeance belongs to Vengeance belongs
00:40:03 to
00:40:05 Yahweh not our place to do Vengeance we
00:40:08 are to do righteous judgments but that’s
00:40:10 different than Vengeance and and
00:40:13 also that’s also why this idea that eye
00:40:17 for an eye and a tooth for a tooth is
00:40:19 all about
00:40:21 vengeance is so
00:40:23 wrong because that’s an idea from yah
00:40:27 and and he’s not going to tell us to
00:40:29 take Vengeance for what he is a for what
00:40:33 because that is his job correct uh and
00:40:37 as I if you look at the symbols there I
00:40:41 for I that’s desire for desire tooth for
00:40:45 tooth is plan for plan right
00:40:49 um and that’s something that does uh by
00:40:53 the
00:40:54 judges now I I if it’s
00:40:58 and and
00:41:00 to you only go to the judges when you
00:41:02 can’t come to agreement within Torah
00:41:05 what the Judgment should be then you go
00:41:07 to the paid judges um so if you don’t
00:41:11 like what the other person is
00:41:13 saying uh and you believe uh a righteous
00:41:17 T judge will give you something better
00:41:20 your both parties are to go to to that
00:41:23 righteous judge right anyways
00:41:27 so for the Lord for y shall judge his
00:41:33 people and here it is and repent himself
00:41:37 for his
00:41:39 servants now that’s a weird phrase and
00:41:43 it’s probably a bad translation it’s
00:41:45 probably a bad translation but you can
00:41:48 also see in there the idea of taking
00:41:50 himself taking upon himself the sins of
00:41:54 man yes and I was just about to say that
00:41:56 that does bring out how going to take
00:41:58 our sins upon
00:41:59 us so those who don’t
00:42:02 believe that there was any kind of
00:42:07 notion of a
00:42:10 savior among these
00:42:13 people Christians are deluding
00:42:16 themselves when they say that the Jews
00:42:17 have no that the Jew that no Jew ever
00:42:21 had any idea about a savior until Jesus
00:42:27 and that’s to me silly because they were
00:42:29 looking for a savior yeah obviously you
00:42:33 don’t realize who wrote the
00:42:35 Psalms right the Psalms is full of stuff
00:42:38 about the Savior now the one thing that
00:42:42 problematic with the Jews the Jews were
00:42:45 looking for the second coming instead of
00:42:49 the first well on also the Jews lost
00:42:53 track of what it was that the law of
00:42:55 Moses was supposed to be pointing them
00:42:57 to yes so law Moses and Torah are
00:43:01 different right which is which was
00:43:05 the which was
00:43:09 y taking art toric guilt upon
00:43:13 him uh let law Moses points to the
00:43:19 atonement um well that’s what I’m saying
00:43:23 oh okay all right yeah where he takes
00:43:25 our toric guilt upon us but we have to
00:43:28 but we there’s we have to choose
00:43:31 him or that doesn’t happen for us
00:43:35 correct he shall repent himself for his
00:43:41 servants not for
00:43:48 everyone when he seeth that their power
00:43:50 is gone and there is none and there is
00:43:52 none shut up or left and he shall say
00:43:56 where are their gods their Rock in whom
00:43:59 they
00:44:01 trusted which did eat of the fat of
00:44:04 their sacrifices and drank the wine of
00:44:07 their drink offerings let them raise
00:44:09 rise up and help you and be your
00:44:11 protection see now that I even I am he
00:44:15 and there is no
00:44:18 Elohim with
00:44:20 me I
00:44:23 kill and I make alive
00:44:27 I
00:44:29 wound and I
00:44:34 heal the hand orces that were against
00:44:38 us was
00:44:42 healed the breach was
00:44:44 healed by
00:44:50 Yeshua by y himself coming down as ish
00:44:55 yeah um and then keeping
00:44:59 Torah and then doing the atonement
00:45:05 um I was gonna say something now I
00:45:09 forgot what it was so I’m gonna pause
00:45:11 for one
00:45:13 second okay so I remember what I wanted
00:45:16 to say it had to do with I kill and I
00:45:18 make alive I wound and I heal this has
00:45:21 to do with the fact that
00:45:25 Yeshua has always always been an Elohim
00:45:28 of justice and
00:45:32 mercy um because that killing he’s
00:45:35 killing because of the Justice which
00:45:37 goes along with the curses with breaking
00:45:39 Torah and he making
00:45:41 alive um that is actually I would say as
00:45:46 a reference to sanctification bringing
00:45:48 people into his presence which is the
00:45:50 ultimate living right right uh I wound
00:45:55 that has to do with uh bringing out how
00:45:58 you misjudge Yeshua and I heal
00:46:02 because uh you believed in Yeshua and
00:46:06 here’s the thing I heal I I make alive
00:46:11 sanctification I heal
00:46:14 justification yeah yeah yeah I I see
00:46:17 that let you mention that it’s uh so I
00:46:21 wound I’ve given you the law you know
00:46:25 sin you do sin
00:46:29 I heal justification coming back under
00:46:33 the Covenant
00:46:35 coming which happens when you come under
00:46:37 his
00:46:41 [Music]
00:46:42 covering yeah um so these uh are very
00:46:48 prophetic and and just obviously iil
00:46:50 goes on with uh uh sons of preditions
00:46:53 right right in fact if you think about
00:46:57 this it kind of goes along the different
00:47:01 glories anyways and then here it says
00:47:03 neither is there any that can deliver
00:47:05 out of my hand now this is not saying
00:47:08 that there’s once saved always saved
00:47:11 what this is saying is his
00:47:14 judgment there is no end to
00:47:18 it correct it’s
00:47:21 Eternal because Torah is
00:47:24 eternal and and here’s what he said says
00:47:27 for I lift up my hand to
00:47:30 heaven and say I live forever so because
00:47:34 he is forever his judgment is forever
00:47:39 you mean he’s always forever the same
00:47:43 yesterday today and what was that last
00:47:45 word oh yeah forever yeah but now that
00:47:49 doesn’t mean that every judgment that he
00:47:51 passes is without expiration oh right
00:47:54 right
00:47:55 punishments don’t have to be Eternal
00:47:58 otherwise I’m going to hell right we’re
00:48:01 all doomed if punishment if all
00:48:03 punishments are punishment is eternal
00:48:07 it’s that final
00:48:09 judgment that stands forever yes yes um
00:48:15 the the final judgment is
00:48:17 final it’s the word final judgment sorry
00:48:20 it’s just it’s redundant anyways if I
00:48:25 wet my glittering sword what is his
00:48:27 glittering sword it is the word word it
00:48:30 is the word of yah it is the
00:48:33 spirit the mind and will if I wet my
00:48:37 glittering sword and now that wet sword
00:48:40 is a sword covered with
00:48:43 blood that’s what that’s a wedded
00:48:46 sword that’s that’s the imagery that’s
00:48:49 going here because it’s his blood that
00:48:50 makes it effective right if I wet my
00:48:54 glittering sword so this he is literally
00:48:57 talking about how he is going to make
00:49:01 Torah effective for all
00:49:07 men if I wet my glittering
00:49:11 sword and mine hand take hold on
00:49:15 judgment I will render Vengeance unto
00:49:18 mine enemies and I will reward them that
00:49:22 hate me now it’s not a reward that we
00:49:25 generally think of today this reward is
00:49:28 more of a maybe better translated as
00:49:32 curse or punishment right right but it
00:49:35 is a just reward so I do think it’s an
00:49:38 okay translation but so you have to
00:49:42 think about it more in today’s way of
00:49:44 thinking right so once again we’re left
00:49:46 with this idea that his atonement
00:49:49 doesn’t hover everybody at
00:49:55 all no so um along those issues um
00:50:01 everyone who came to get a physical body
00:50:05 will resurrect with a physical body
00:50:08 everyone
00:50:10 um but the
00:50:14 at back into yeshua’s Kingdom in one
00:50:18 degree or another and not everybody’s
00:50:20 getting that yeah uh and um there’s also
00:50:25 there you know the and
00:50:29 the to the extent that we came under his
00:50:33 covering we will be covered correct
00:50:37 correct yeah to the extent that we did
00:50:40 those things that he hated and that we
00:50:43 have that we attempted to bring
00:50:44 pollution into his
00:50:47 house we will be
00:50:50 uncovered uh so we need to be careful
00:50:53 with that DNC 76 and even parable of the
00:50:57 so
00:51:00 shows who the problem is if you get that
00:51:03 way you will
00:51:06 you the problem could or the potential
00:51:10 is there that you will reject him and
00:51:13 not just his ways because right there is
00:51:16 the parable of the SE and even the DNC
00:51:19 76 that brings out
00:51:21 how
00:51:23 uh the demons came and took away the
00:51:26 seed the word from them but they’re
00:51:28 still within the
00:51:30 Kingdom right the anyways the so they
00:51:35 received some covering because they came
00:51:37 under some to some level well they’re
00:51:41 some covering therefore they’re in the
00:51:42 Kingdom yeah yeah so they’re in the
00:51:44 Kingdom they will just receive less
00:51:47 Glory so which is which
00:51:52 is they became less like him they’re
00:51:55 less and
00:51:57 less
00:51:59 covered I I do see what you’re saying I
00:52:02 just I would say it a different way
00:52:04 myself okay yeah and that’s fine um I
00:52:09 I’m you know what I’m not saying is that
00:52:12 they that if you don’t F that if you
00:52:15 don’t um do exactly what I say that
00:52:18 you’re not going to be saved that’s not
00:52:21 what I’m saying oh no I know I I I know
00:52:24 what I’m saying is that it to what
00:52:28 extent we are
00:52:32 rewarded our reward in
00:52:35 heaven is and this is based on the
00:52:40 sermon on
00:52:41 Torah a reward in heaven is based on how
00:52:47 Faithfully we took upon ourselves the
00:52:49 character of
00:52:51 hea right right so just to make clear in
00:52:55 in my words salvation is a gift the
00:52:59 glory you received is dependent upon how
00:53:01 much you become like him
00:53:06 right okay so so that and that’s and
00:53:11 that’s I think we’re pretty much in
00:53:13 agreement on that so anyways okay but
00:53:17 um so yeah I’m not that’s not something
00:53:22 I’m going to argue with you about sure
00:53:27 I I will say though that it is uh kind
00:53:31 of a tricky tongue
00:53:34 twister subject right there right so
00:53:37 right it’s it’s one of those it’s one of
00:53:40 those things that people often try to
00:53:43 oversimplify what a lot of arguments
00:53:45 online are about too right right because
00:53:48 there’s tons of confusion in the body on
00:53:50 this and it’s also restoration it also
00:53:54 leads to the general
00:53:57 mischaracterization of the intent of
00:54:00 those who are trying to keep the law
00:54:06 correct I’ll our intent to keep the law
00:54:09 is not based on our desire for salvation
00:54:12 we keep the law because we have been
00:54:15 saved I I keep it because I want to be
00:54:18 like Yeshua that’s right he he is my all
00:54:23 and I want to be like him right people
00:54:26 emulate who they look up
00:54:28 to right if you’re not trying to emulate
00:54:31 Yeshua do you really look up to him
00:54:35 right or is it just lip service so
00:54:39 remember if I wet my my glittering sword
00:54:42 because and because he did wet his
00:54:44 glittering sword with his
00:54:48 blood and my hand take hold on judgment
00:54:51 all judgment has been given to the son
00:54:56 I will render Vengeance to my enemies
00:55:00 and reward and will reward them that
00:55:02 hate me the just reward I will make mine
00:55:05 arrows drunk with blood and my sword
00:55:08 shall devour flesh and that the blood
00:55:11 and that with the blood of the slain and
00:55:12 the captives from the beginning of
00:55:14 revenges upon mine enemy upon the enemy
00:55:18 so uh verse 42 is pointing to the second
00:55:23 coming okay right and arrows are a are a
00:55:27 symbol of
00:55:28 Torah yes they are uh and also
00:55:33 they’re um even Elisha who is a type of
00:55:37 the mighty and strong one has a history
00:55:41 that deals with arrows that points to
00:55:42 the second coming right and my sword
00:55:46 shall devour flesh in other
00:55:52 words and this is actually a reference
00:55:55 to um this is a reference to the
00:55:57 Judgment those who stay in the flesh
00:56:00 it’s also a reference to the fact that
00:56:02 those who keep the
00:56:03 word their flesh is their flesh is
00:56:06 consumed they are transformed they
00:56:09 become like Yeshua yeah so this is
00:56:13 actually um has double meaning here that
00:56:17 I would I would say because
00:56:20 either you will make the decision for
00:56:24 the spirit or his word to devour your
00:56:27 flesh as you become a new person or yesu
00:56:32 will literally have his word devour your
00:56:35 flesh at the second coming yeah and that
00:56:38 yeah and that’s kind of what I was H
00:56:40 kind of what I was hitting at trying to
00:56:41 get
00:56:42 to that’s uh that’s very very well put
00:56:47 Stephen
00:56:49 okay that with the blood of the slain
00:56:51 and the captives from the beginning of
00:56:53 the revenges upon the enemy so so yaha
00:56:57 will protect his people yeah from the
00:57:01 beginning his people are determined by
00:57:04 obedience to
00:57:06 Torah right now I will also say in in
00:57:11 what I brought up earlier with Elisha
00:57:13 Elisha is or was a mighty and strong one
00:57:17 of his day and that’s when the revenges
00:57:20 start
00:57:22 is not always but generally speaking uh
00:57:26 most revenges begin with a mighty and
00:57:29 strong one right not always but a lot of
00:57:33 the time generally but it does happen
00:57:35 yeah uh there were many for instance
00:57:38 with Enoch there were many revenges yeah
00:57:42 um Rejoice oh ye
00:57:46 nations Rejoice Ephraim who became a
00:57:49 multitude of nations with his
00:57:52 people for he um just so you’re let’s
00:57:56 make sure people know where you’re
00:57:57 getting that from he’s getting that from
00:58:00 ephraim’s blessing how they will be the
00:58:03 Nations yep with his people for he will
00:58:07 avenge the blood of his
00:58:09 servants and he will render Vengeance to
00:58:12 his
00:58:13 adversaries and will be merciful unto
00:58:16 his land and to his people now I see
00:58:21 that as a millennium because there’s
00:58:23 that is a whole bunch of millennium
00:58:26 uh imagery and prophecy oh absolutely
00:58:30 absolutely um and especially um just to
00:58:35 do a uh just do a sh Shameless plug of a
00:58:39 post that I worked
00:58:40 on Isaiah 27 it talks about how he will
00:58:48 avenge the blood of his
00:58:51 [Music]
00:58:54 servants yeah Ben did help me with that
00:58:57 post is what he’s getting at
00:58:59 that’s Isaiah 27 it’s a marvelous
00:59:03 marvelous chapter in fact just since
00:59:06 we’re talking about it we were uh Ben’s
00:59:10 been going through Isaiah for his son
00:59:13 for homeschooling and I was there on
00:59:16 vacation and so I did a couple chapters
00:59:18 with them and Isaiah 27 was one of them
00:59:20 and uh there was a funny one I looked
00:59:22 more into and Ben and I were you know
00:59:25 working and talking about it and we
00:59:27 figured it out together and so I made a
00:59:29 post yeah um and it’s uh yeah and uh
00:59:36 the Yo’s yoa has shown us many great
00:59:40 marvelous things regarding these end
00:59:43 times that we are approaching and I
00:59:46 really um I’m not saying that I’m
00:59:49 looking forward to all of
00:59:52 it um but I’m looking for I’m looking
00:59:56 forward to the end
00:59:57 result yeah I can’t say I can honestly
01:00:00 say I’m not looking forward to all of it
01:00:02 but I am uh
01:00:06 I I know that uh all things has work
01:00:11 together for
01:00:12 good to those who love
01:00:18 yahwa and uh I know that what he is
01:00:22 doing is bringing
01:00:23 about a world that is that can be his
01:00:30 kingdom yes there are some things in it
01:00:34 that are not about the prophecy of the
01:00:38 second coming that are
01:00:42 not happy thoughts or something to look
01:00:46 forward to but uh understanding how he’s
01:00:50 working within Torah they are
01:00:53 necessary yes when you understand but
01:00:57 the only reason that these things are
01:00:59 necessary the only thing the only way
01:01:01 that you can understand that these
01:01:02 things are necessary is if you
01:01:05 understand that
01:01:07 Torah even even as we have it revealed
01:01:11 through
01:01:12 Moses is the mind and will of yahwah and
01:01:17 it is how he
01:01:18 works yeah yeah then you will see that
01:01:21 these things are necessary I even see
01:01:24 that in some of the unpleasant things
01:01:26 for the second coming they’re needed to
01:01:28 make
01:01:29 it with Torah
01:01:33 compant so
01:01:35 anyways um I’m not looking well I I I
01:01:39 will say
01:01:41 this I’m pretty sure that um I’m pretty
01:01:44 sure that the children of Israel were
01:01:45 not all sweetness and light to the
01:01:47 Canaanites oh no and it’s because of
01:01:50 their sins but yeah yes and the point is
01:01:55 that was given to us as a type and a
01:02:01 shadow of Zion yes I agree with
01:02:05 you um and there will there and
01:02:10 um you know it’s uh the thing that one
01:02:14 has to
01:02:15 realize is that yeh uses the wicked to
01:02:18 punish the wicked
01:02:21 yes but he also uses the righteous
01:02:26 because the righteous have to learn how
01:02:27 to execute his judgment in righteousness
01:02:37 correct yeah I’m not looking forward to
01:02:40 that part but I’ll I’ll do it um yeah
01:02:44 but I do I I I H I love y I love the
01:02:49 song of Moses I love hear how he lays
01:02:53 out that because he went to the trouble
01:02:58 of taking the toric of taking the toric
01:03:02 punishment upon himself becoming the sin
01:03:04 becoming the scapegoat becoming the
01:03:07 becoming the uh the offering
01:03:11 goat yes for the day of because he
01:03:14 became all of those things he is the
01:03:17 bowl he is the uh he is the escape goat
01:03:20 he is the live offering goat he is the
01:03:24 Lamb yeah yes these are all
01:03:27 representations that point us to
01:03:30 him um and that’s the importance of the
01:03:35 sacrifices um point us to Yeshua and
01:03:40 what he did for
01:03:42 us they they’re teaching tools
01:03:47 yes and no and no sacrifice of animals
01:03:53 ever made one clean from
01:03:57 sin what they were what they made one
01:04:01 was what they did for one was make it
01:04:04 possible for them to participate in the
01:04:06 ceremonies and ordinances that were
01:04:08 going on in the
01:04:11 temple
01:04:14 right um there is to teach us and and to
01:04:19 see it
01:04:21 um uh we need visual aids I mean that’s
01:04:25 partly why we’re here on Earth is to see
01:04:27 it physically to experience things
01:04:30 physically that’s the sacrifices are no
01:04:33 different yeah and that’s why the
01:04:37 sacrifices will
01:04:39 continue
01:04:41 yes because
01:04:44 we there’s still varying light there
01:04:46 will still be varying
01:04:50 lights uh upon the Earth in the second
01:04:53 coming and people will still need visual
01:04:57 instruct visual instruction well uh and
01:05:00 I I know some people will think I’m
01:05:03 crazy for this but they think I’m crazy
01:05:05 for many other things but I do believe
01:05:07 the anal sacrifices will be
01:05:17 Eternal yeah there’s
01:05:20 sacrifices but the Torah
01:05:23 sacrifices H if the priesthood is
01:05:29 eternal so are the ordinances
01:05:34 thereof
01:05:36 yeah that’s what I believe um and
01:05:40 so it does kind of bring to point
01:05:44 how animals will not be
01:05:47 resurrected
01:05:48 sorry yeah so yeah I’m sorry you’re not
01:05:51 going to uh you’re not going to see your
01:05:54 old dog spot
01:05:56 I’m not going to see the favorite pet
01:05:58 that I had when I was growing
01:06:01 up yeah I anyways I I know that’s a
01:06:05 touchy subject but the fact that I
01:06:08 believe animal sacrifices are Eternal
01:06:10 and will happen continue to happen after
01:06:13 mortality is over for
01:06:16 humans
01:06:17 um means animals won’t be resurrected
01:06:20 they’ll Stay immortal
01:06:23 um I
01:06:26 that’s the only way to make the
01:06:27 sacrifice is be Eternal as it states in
01:06:29 Torah that that says right so anyways
01:06:34 yeah it’s an interesting
01:06:36 thought um so yeah anyways we’ll go on
01:06:40 from there because um but I do think
01:06:43 that it’s really important that we
01:06:45 realize that because he took upon
01:06:48 himself the toric
01:06:51 punishment we need to take upon
01:06:53 ourselves his character
01:06:55 he took upon himself our
01:07:02 guilt and if we don’t take upon so if we
01:07:04 don’t take upon ourselves his character
01:07:07 we have not reciprocated at
01:07:10 all and for us then to say that we are
01:07:13 deservant to sit beside
01:07:16 Paul to to to be beside Paul and Peter
01:07:21 and
01:07:22 Nephi and Elma
01:07:25 in that state of our pride
01:07:30 and
01:07:34 arrogance not having taken his character
01:07:37 upon us and spent all of our Lives
01:07:39 making excuses and inventing doctrines
01:07:41 to keep us from
01:07:45 it
01:07:46 well your
01:07:48 presump your presumption will be made
01:07:50 known to you at the last day so go go
01:07:53 sermon on Torah either Matthew 5 yes or
01:07:58 3i 12 but for this one I know Matthew 5
01:08:01 more so if you’re willing
01:08:03 to yeah
01:08:06 um Matthew’s at the
01:08:11 top do you read no I’m just kidding I
01:08:14 don’t always know not usually not
01:08:15 usually especially not especially I’m
01:08:18 kind of tired but yeah but so yeah I
01:08:21 don’t read very well that okay so um
01:08:25 yeah
01:08:26 looks right there I think that’s where
01:08:28 we’re at yeah yeah so think not I Yeshua
01:08:32 came to destroy Torah think not don’t
01:08:36 even think
01:08:40 it don’t even think that I am come to
01:08:50 destroy the law or the prophets
01:08:56 I am not come to destroy
01:08:59 but
01:09:01 in holy preach we could go look at the
01:09:03 Greek but to fulfill fulfill cannot mean
01:09:07 something functionally the same as
01:09:10 destroy and have
01:09:12 anything and have be and have and make
01:09:16 any sense at all in the context of this
01:09:19 verse yeah well uh fulfill if you go
01:09:22 look at the Greek you go look at the
01:09:26 um yes the Greek behind it says to fully
01:09:29 preach it also means to bring to
01:09:32 completion but fully preached makes
01:09:35 sense to bring to completion does
01:09:40 not uh in addition even before I knew
01:09:44 this Greek I would used to say if
01:09:47 someone fulfills the requirements to go
01:09:49 to college do they destroy the
01:09:50 requirements for everybody
01:09:52 else yeah no they don’t
01:09:55 and are still there uh Matthew
01:10:02 3 uh brings out how Yeshua fulfilled all
01:10:06 righteousness Now by by being baptized
01:10:08 so I guess we don’t have to be righteous
01:10:10 anymore right so why what does it matter
01:10:14 if we keep the Commandments whether
01:10:17 personal ones or or not which is a false
01:10:19 tradition but anyways but the point is
01:10:23 is fulfill what makes sense
01:10:25 in both this instance and in Matthew
01:10:28 chapter 3 fully preach yes because the
01:10:33 fully teach and exemplify uh during
01:10:35 Matthew 3 it’s about fully preaching
01:10:39 because that is part of the
01:10:42 plan
01:10:45 yeah the act of B the ordinance of
01:10:48 baptism is actually a sermon
01:10:51 on is actually is actually a sermon in
01:10:55 salvation yeah it is um it’s very
01:10:59 symbolic um so just to say a little bit
01:11:04 um with baptism so before we’re baptized
01:11:08 we promise to immerse oursel in the word
01:11:11 right right yeah well water represents
01:11:15 the word and so that’s why it’s
01:11:18 immersing to immerse yourself completely
01:11:20 not just partly that’s why it needs to
01:11:22 be a full immersion and that’s also why
01:11:25 it’s that’s also why I prefer to be
01:11:29 baptized in living
01:11:31 water uh scriptures highly promote that
01:11:36 there are occasions in the scriptures
01:11:37 when it was not possible that’s where it
01:11:40 was not possible yeah when it’s not
01:11:42 possible then then use some water but it
01:11:45 needs to be fully immersed um anyways I
01:11:50 I I there’s a lot to the symbolism of
01:11:52 baptism and hopefully that gives a
01:11:54 little bit right right so so once again
01:11:58 we start at the very beginning think not
01:12:01 don’t even think that I am come to
01:12:03 destroy the
01:12:04 law so if he’s not come to destroy the
01:12:06 law that means he’s come to fully preach
01:12:08 it right because if he if fulfill means
01:12:13 to get rid of it that’s the same if
01:12:15 fulfill means to bring to completion and
01:12:17 thus render null and
01:12:19 void
01:12:20 um then you basically what you have is
01:12:24 Yeshua cont I in himself within one
01:12:26 sentence yeah that doesn’t he doesn’t do
01:12:29 that so so are you saying that God is
01:12:33 insane uh a lot of people the way that
01:12:36 people preach Yeshua I think they do
01:12:39 think he’s insane but
01:12:41 anyways uh Yeshua is
01:12:44 consistent yes he is consistent within
01:12:47 himself and therefore it therefore it
01:12:50 makes sense that since he has not come
01:12:52 to destroy it or to do away with it or
01:12:55 to anull
01:12:56 it then he has come to fully preach it
01:12:59 and exemplify it so that we can oh wait
01:13:02 a minute what’s what’s the point of an
01:13:07 example so that we can follow
01:13:12 it maybe well he is our perfect example
01:13:16 how to keep Torah so right so when one
01:13:20 of the things that I was taught in film
01:13:23 school was to find somebody who I could
01:13:26 look to as a
01:13:29 mentor that and that I and that if I
01:13:32 wanted to achieve what they achieved
01:13:34 then I needed to do what they
01:13:37 did yeah um so can I let me uh take the
01:13:42 screen from you for yeah
01:13:47 sure
01:13:49 so um
01:14:00 so uh Zach you want to read first John 2
01:14:05 3-6 um hopefully that’s big enough for
01:14:12 you and hereby do we we do know that we
01:14:16 know him if we keep his
01:14:18 Commandments he that saith I know him
01:14:21 and and keep know his Commandments as a
01:14:24 liar
01:14:25 the truth is not in him but who so
01:14:27 keepeth his
01:14:29 word in him verely is the love of Elohim
01:14:34 perfected hereby know that hereby know
01:14:38 you that are in
01:14:42 him he that saith he abideth in him
01:14:46 himself also so to walk even as you walk
01:14:51 so uh wait so the walk in the spirit is
01:14:54 to walk walk as Yeshua walked not to say
01:14:57 well he did it so we didn’t have to
01:15:00 correct now uh I don’t think anybody
01:15:03 would argue that
01:15:05 um Yeshua kept Torah
01:15:09 right and so here first John is
01:15:13 written
01:15:15 uh after the
01:15:17 resurrection yes uh bringing out how we
01:15:20 must do what Yeshua
01:15:23 did right and he’s not saying that it’s
01:15:26 and he notice one thing that he doesn’t
01:15:28 say
01:15:29 here he never here says that it’s
01:15:32 impossible correct in fact he even
01:15:37 says uh but whosoever keepeth his word
01:15:41 his law his Torah in him verily is the
01:15:44 love of Elohim if you love me keep my
01:15:47 Commandments perfected perfected goes
01:15:50 along with the perfect flaw th and this
01:15:53 is and the and it points us back to
01:15:57 faith hope and
01:15:59 charity
01:16:01 yeah charity being
01:16:04 Sedaka charity the the word for keeping
01:16:08 the Commandments righteous and just
01:16:16 action yeah which of course which of
01:16:18 course includes taking care of those who
01:16:20 cannot take care of themselves right now
01:16:23 a lot of people that’s the one that they
01:16:25 love to only focus on because it’s
01:16:27 easier just to give money um now it is
01:16:30 important but it’s not the most
01:16:34 important right um you know it’s
01:16:39 uh though I what is it the Paul
01:16:42 says though I give all my goods to the
01:16:46 poor and though I give my body to be
01:16:51 burned and you can do both of those
01:16:54 things
01:16:55 and have not
01:16:59 charity you are nothing which charity is
01:17:05 righteousness right
01:17:07 right along with all the other teachings
01:17:10 about what’s
01:17:12 required uh to go see him see Yeshua in
01:17:15 heaven is to be righteous right which
01:17:19 shows you that faith hope and charity
01:17:22 are engendered in the same decision
01:17:26 moment and instant and time or series of
01:17:29 decisions they’re generated through th
01:17:32 through that same
01:17:35 process they come together
01:17:39 yeah and Moroni I’m gonna say it again
01:17:42 Moroni 7 brings out how faith hope and
01:17:46 charity come
01:17:49 together at the same time because if you
01:17:53 have
01:17:55 if you have faith you must needs have
01:17:58 hope right and hope
01:18:02 so uh hope pretty much goes with the
01:18:05 first part of Faith
01:18:07 trust yeah charity goes with the second
01:18:10 part the
01:18:13 diligence so you have if you have those
01:18:18 if you have
01:18:20 one if you have one you have them all
01:18:25 correct it’s a it’s an all or nothing
01:18:28 which is why I say which is why there is
01:18:33 some
01:18:35 element of
01:18:37 truth that
01:18:40 even to the idea that even
01:18:46 our that even our sanctification is
01:18:49 dependent upon our
01:18:52 faith yes um and to go along with
01:18:56 that um before we’re Sanctified
01:19:00 sanctification is actually keeping
01:19:04 Torah where justification is that you
01:19:07 want to keep it because of the
01:19:08 repentance right you come under his
01:19:10 covering
01:19:12 now there may be a grand there may you
01:19:15 may experience this with a spiritual in
01:19:18 a spiritual in some kind of spiritual
01:19:20 way you may not experience your
01:19:22 justification in some kind of grand
01:19:24 spiritual experience you may or may
01:19:28 not right
01:19:30 um
01:19:32 the the big issue is the change of
01:19:35 heart change yeah the the results are
01:19:38 more important than The Sensational
01:19:42 experience yeah yeah um and there’s a
01:19:46 lot of people who lie about their
01:19:48 supposed s Sensational experiences we’ll
01:19:52 just leave it at that um
01:19:55 and even if you did have that but then
01:19:57 you don’t do what you’re supposed to do
01:19:59 you’re just more condemned so yeah all
01:20:02 you’ve done is open yourself up to a
01:20:04 whole new level of condemnation if you
01:20:06 do not turn you know
01:20:12 I I thank God for his Mercy every
01:20:15 day that when I was asking him how I
01:20:18 might see his
01:20:22 face he impressed upon my heart and
01:20:26 Spirit to look to the
01:20:38 law oh the goodness of our
01:20:41 God yeah I agree I there was a time
01:20:47 I saw after seeing y face the wrong way
01:20:52 so I’ve done some things I won’t ever do
01:20:54 again
01:20:57 um and that was before I knew the
01:20:59 scriptures better also on multiple
01:21:01 aspects
01:21:02 including I I used to think the second
01:21:05 comforter was seeing y’s face it’s not
01:21:10 the second
01:21:11 comforter it is being told you receive
01:21:15 Celestial
01:21:17 glory in one way or another it could be
01:21:19 told that you’re Sanctified because
01:21:21 that’s one way of saying that it could
01:21:23 be being told that you receive eternal
01:21:26 life because that’s another way of
01:21:28 saying it I mean there will come a time
01:21:30 when all will see his face yes yes and
01:21:34 some and but that may not be in your
01:21:38 lifetime
01:21:40 correct um but that is not what the
01:21:43 second comforter is second comforter is
01:21:46 being told from y’s
01:21:49 own mouth that you will receive
01:21:56 eternal etal
01:21:58 life in one way or another right
01:22:04 yeah uh and you can see that in the Book
01:22:06 of Mormon I can think of two off top of
01:22:08 my head with
01:22:11 Elma The
01:22:13 Elder yep and Nephi in helan
01:22:19 right they were told there was
01:22:25 and
01:22:28 um and Nephi has also given command over
01:22:31 the elements and the
01:22:33 no it’s
01:22:35 um and you know it’s really
01:22:42 interesting how Nephi uses that
01:22:47 power he uses it to try to get people to
01:22:49 repent he doesn’t use it to say hey look
01:22:52 at me I’m I’ve got this power
01:22:57 he
01:22:59 says and then he uses it in priv he uses
01:23:03 it in conversation with
01:23:06 ywa to get
01:23:08 yofa to send a famine that people will
01:23:11 stop killing each other with the sword
01:23:14 well just
01:23:15 uh Yeshua told him to do that yeah um
01:23:21 and then he just did it but anyways the
01:23:22 main point is Nephi does used his
01:23:25 priesthood power to in a way to get
01:23:28 people to repent right he doesn’t try to
01:23:32 go and be all boastful about it no it my
01:23:36 point was that it was not in front of
01:23:39 the
01:23:40 people oh yeah he he I I think it came
01:23:44 out that they knew it was from him
01:23:45 because they actually went to him and
01:23:47 said you know turn this around but uh
01:23:52 he I don’t believe he did the prayer in
01:23:54 front of the people to get no to heaven
01:23:57 so yeah it wasn’t a big showy thing he
01:24:01 just exercised the power of he just
01:24:05 exercised the power that he had been
01:24:07 given and to pass the Judgment that had
01:24:11 already been passed in
01:24:13 heaven he sealed It Anyways um I have a
01:24:17 post on sealing power if anybody wants
01:24:19 to look at
01:24:22 all um so
01:24:25 yeah he didn’t come up with that
01:24:27 punishment he did not come up with the
01:24:29 famine himself no had already been in
01:24:32 that case it was specifically told by uh
01:24:37 Yahweh but those with sealing power do
01:24:39 things according to Torah right um and
01:24:43 it’s it’s all over the place but yeah
01:24:45 it’s it’s not according to whatever
01:24:48 strange happening they can imagine in
01:24:50 their
01:24:52 head correct
01:24:55 because we can all all of us are very
01:24:57 good at imagining strange happenings in
01:24:58 our
01:25:00 head uh yes um but we’re not supposed to
01:25:03 judgments according to our whim that’s
01:25:06 right that’s right that’s
01:25:09 called miscarriage of
01:25:12 Justice yeah and I have a little post
01:25:16 about that I’ll put it in
01:25:19 the uh in the notes so if people want to
01:25:23 go read about it is that Bishops or
01:25:25 judges of Israel yeah yeah that’s a
01:25:28 that’s a good one I like it of course
01:25:30 I’m biased I wrote
01:25:33 it well I I do think we went over the
01:25:38 your favorite part of the songs is the
01:25:40 song of Moses right right and there’s
01:25:44 other songs in the
01:25:46 Psalms um which a lot of point to that
01:25:48 same Redemptive work yes yah himself
01:25:52 will do
01:25:54 yeah so I’m just thinking this is
01:25:57 probably a good time to call it good yep
01:25:59 let’s call let’s call it okay call it
