Summary:
Expounding Passover scriptures along with Unleavened Bread and First Fruits. Showing the imagery behind them and how they point to Yeshua. Also bring out how the scriptures contradict false traditions of men for Passover and the traditional Sedar meal which started after 70 AD. Scriptures talking about the end of the year for Tabernacles shows that the 7th moon is not a start of the year. April 6th 1830 was the 13th day of the moon, and you need to set up a church before Passover, because you need to be a member to partake of Passover. Which also means the day the Book of Mormon was published was on the 1st day of the 1st week, going along with when light was given, and the Book of Mormon is light. Explaining why the lamb is selected on the 10th day of the 1st moon. We are to fully consume Yeshua and His ways in this life. The Last Supper was not a Passover meal and we can know this because they ate leaven bread and everyone left before sunrise. The controversies about the High Holidays are to happen are resolved with the Lunar Sabbath. The scriptures about Passover tell us to cook on the weekly Sabbath, which goes along with D&C LDS 59. LDS church changed the articles of faith. In the book of Ruth people greeted each other with YHWH. Raising up the offering during First Fruits is like how Yeshua is the first one who went up to Heaven. Offerings are prayers unto YHWH. Bringing up various issue with using barley to determine the start of the year. The weekly sabbath is from sunrise to sunset. Pagan Holidays are dark. The High Holidays teach the gospel.

00:00:03 H okay. Um welcome everybody to
00:00:06 tonight’s study session. Um this is a an
00:00:10 absolutely amazing special time of the
00:00:13 year as we come up on
00:00:16 Passover. Uh and so today’s lesson um or
00:00:20 topic of conversation is going to be
00:00:23 Passover. Uh what is it? Where did it
00:00:26 come from? What do we do on Passover?
00:00:29 What’s the significance of the
00:00:31 Passover and what does the Passover
00:00:33 symbolize, right? Why why is this so
00:00:37 important? Um, I will say this by way of
00:00:41 housekeeping rules. Um, if you have
00:00:44 questions, feel free to ask. Uh, we we
00:00:48 we welcome questions. In fact, we
00:00:51 encourage questions. Also uh I am by no
00:00:54 means an expert uh in this particular uh
00:00:58 holy day. Um and so uh input is also
00:01:05 invited from those who have uh put time
00:01:09 and study into this as well. Um, and if
00:01:13 you have any insights or any thoughts,
00:01:16 uh, I invite you all to participate in
00:01:20 the lesson today and to add your
00:01:24 insights. Uh, because this is how we
00:01:27 this is how we are edified
00:01:29 together. Um, oh, you know, I’m willing
00:01:32 to, huh? You know, I’m willing to Oh,
00:01:36 yes. Yes. Yes. I I know you and Stephen
00:01:39 both. Yes. Very willing and I appreciate
00:01:41 that. Thank you. Um, so what is what is
00:01:46 the
00:01:48 Passover? That’s a question. Okay. So,
00:01:51 uh, the name comes from how the
00:01:56 Israelites and in this case a few mixed
00:02:00 multitude, but that’s fairly rare. But
00:02:03 primarily the Israelites, the the curse
00:02:06 passed over them because they marked
00:02:10 their household with the blood of the
00:02:12 lamp upon the door.
00:02:15 the the angel of death, destroying
00:02:18 angel, the destroying angel who is Yahwa
00:02:23 um passed over them. Passed over them
00:02:26 because they placed themselves under his
00:02:29 covering symbolized by the blood on the
00:02:33 doorposts and the top posts. Yes. Of the
00:02:37 door and our first were not slain.
00:02:40 Right. And I do want to add this real
00:02:42 quick, which points to how we are saved
00:02:46 only through the blood of the lamb.
00:02:50 Correct. So I I love what Stephen said.
00:02:54 Uh it was 100% correct. Um and boiling
00:02:58 it down, it was basically a feast that
00:03:01 was instituted instituted to commemorate
00:03:03 the passing over of the houses of the
00:03:06 children of Israel in Egypt. And Elohim,
00:03:08 the destroying angel, smoked the
00:03:10 firstborn of the Egyptians. And the
00:03:14 sign that was to be used was the blood.
00:03:18 That was the
00:03:20 sign. And um we’ll we’ll get more into
00:03:24 that as we get further on in in the
00:03:26 study. So one thing I’ll just add real
00:03:28 quick um there is significance that it
00:03:31 was on the door as in Yeshua is the
00:03:34 door. Yes. It’s it’s also there there’s
00:03:39 also great significance as well on the
00:03:42 fact that the plague was on the
00:03:44 firstborn.
00:03:47 Yes. And they get into that like in
00:03:50 chapter 13 if I remember correctly. Um
00:03:56 uh but there is deeper significance than
00:03:59 just the surface of what they’re saying
00:04:01 as Ben is bringing out. Yeah.
00:04:04 So,
00:04:07 um, the very, well, not the very first,
00:04:10 but the Moses,
00:04:12 um, rendition of the Passover, I guess
00:04:15 you could say. Well, the first one,
00:04:19 uh, since or first one with Moses,
00:04:22 right? Right. First one with Moses
00:04:25 moving into Yes. the the liberation of
00:04:28 the children of Israel from Egypt. Um
00:04:32 the easiest I think the easiest way to
00:04:33 say that is the first recorded Passover.
00:04:36 Well, it’s another way. Yeah.
00:04:39 Right. So, um I I find it interesting
00:04:43 that
00:04:45 um well, let’s just get into it. Let’s
00:04:47 get into chapter 12 real quick and and
00:04:49 go through exactly what
00:04:53 um Elohim told Moses and Aaron should be
00:04:57 done for that Passover for that
00:05:01 particular Passover
00:05:05 and what we should be doing today as
00:05:07 closely as we can.
00:05:10 Right. Right. Well, and this is also
00:05:13 part of the reason why I’m I pulled up
00:05:14 those other chapters and we’ll we’ll get
00:05:16 into that here in a minute. Um, so we’re
00:05:20 going to start in verse one. And
00:05:23 um, Stephen, would you mind starting us
00:05:26 off? Yeah. And Yahweh spake unto Moses
00:05:29 and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
00:05:32 “This month shall you unto you be the
00:05:35 beginning of months. is it shall be the
00:05:38 first month of the year to you. Okay.
00:05:42 So, anybody who says that
00:05:45 um the feast of trumpets calling it
00:05:49 Russia Shana i.e. the new the new
00:05:52 political year that’s not a thing. Okay.
00:05:58 And said Aviv is the first month. Yeah.
00:06:02 So along the point since it’s been
00:06:04 brought it up, I will say a little more.
00:06:06 Uh they use some misunderstood
00:06:11 uh verses later when it’s dealing about
00:06:14 the three traveling feasts
00:06:17 in that they say, well, okay, it says
00:06:20 the end of the year. It’s actually the
00:06:22 end of the planting seagull season. But
00:06:26 even with the end of the year,
00:06:29 um that holiday that they’re talking
00:06:31 about is tabernacles, which is the
00:06:33 seventh moon, which is where they say
00:06:36 it’s the first year or first month of
00:06:39 the year. That makes no sense because
00:06:42 the verse actually says it’s the literal
00:06:45 English translation is the end of the
00:06:47 year, not start of the year. Right?
00:06:55 That’s one of the you just analyze what
00:06:58 is being said in these false traditions.
00:07:01 It comes obvious that they’re false
00:07:04 traditions. Correct. Correct. Also, I’d
00:07:07 like to point out that
00:07:10 everything that Yahweh Elohim has ever
00:07:14 done and ever will do is at an appointed
00:07:20 time.
00:07:22 Yes. and and and this marks the
00:07:25 beginning this month marks the beginning
00:07:28 of the year that he accounts and of his
00:07:32 appointed times throughout the year. Now
00:07:35 an example of that um and with the
00:07:39 restoration
00:07:41 is April 6 that was the 13th day of the
00:07:47 first moon. Now, the reason that is
00:07:49 significant because as we read through
00:07:53 the requirements of Passover, which I’m
00:07:56 I don’t know how much detail Josh is
00:07:57 going to get into, you have to be
00:07:59 members.
00:08:02 That’s something that needs to be taken
00:08:03 care of before Passover, not during
00:08:06 Passover. In addition, I’ll just say
00:08:09 this one other little sidetrack that
00:08:12 makes the day that the Book of Mormon
00:08:14 published the first day of the first
00:08:18 week, which when
00:08:19 light is given, just as the Book of
00:08:23 Mormon is light. Yes, I I Yes, good
00:08:27 point. Thank you, Stephen. Thank you. Uh
00:08:30 Ben, you want to pick up in verse three?
00:08:32 Sure. Um
00:08:41 got a
00:08:43 Oh, you’re fine. Yeah. Okay. Speak ye
00:08:46 unto all the congregation of
00:08:48 Israel. Okay. So, Yahweh is speaking to
00:08:51 Moshe, and Moshe is to spread the
00:08:54 message to the congregation of Israel.
00:08:57 This is uh I I am sorry, that’s not a
00:08:59 personal commandment.
00:09:01 Yeah.
00:09:02 Speak ye unto all the congregation of
00:09:04 Israel, saying in the 10th day of this
00:09:09 month, they shall take to them. This is
00:09:12 why we choose it on the 10th day of the
00:09:14 month because this was commanded. And
00:09:16 the reason why this is commanded is
00:09:18 because the 10th day prophetically
00:09:21 speaking represent choosing the lamb on
00:09:24 the 10th day with the Passover lamb
00:09:26 being slain on the 14th day represents
00:09:29 the lamb chosen before the foundation of
00:09:32 the world because you have the 14th then
00:09:34 you have the first so real quick let me
00:09:37 add one thing because I do agree with
00:09:39 Ben but the fourth millennium is when
00:09:43 the son Yeshua comes. So 414.
00:09:49 Yeah. So and so and so the so 14th is
00:09:53 the fourth millennium. 13th
00:09:56 third 12th uh second first millennia and
00:10:01 then 10th
00:10:03 before the foundation before the
00:10:04 foundation of the world. Right? So the
00:10:08 so Yeshua is so Yeshua is the lamb slain
00:10:11 before the foundation of the world. So
00:10:13 is of blood. So his atoning blood
00:10:16 applies to all mankind from the
00:10:18 beginning of the world to the end
00:10:20 thereof.
00:10:22 Those who came down here on earth did
00:10:26 select him. Mhm.
00:10:29 Because they chose him over Satan. So
00:10:31 they So in the 10th day of this month,
00:10:34 they shall take unto take to them every
00:10:37 man a lamb according to the house of
00:10:39 their fathers, a lamb for an house. And
00:10:42 if the household be too little for the
00:10:44 lamb, let him and his neighbor next to
00:10:46 it next unto his house take it according
00:10:49 to the number of souls. Every man
00:10:51 according to his eating shall shall make
00:10:54 you count for the lamb.
00:10:57 Okay. And so so this is of course with
00:11:01 the idea that you eat the full lamb, the
00:11:03 household eats the full lamb. If the
00:11:05 household is too small to eat a full
00:11:07 lamb, then they combine households and
00:11:10 then they share, right? They eat a whole
00:11:12 lamb. Right now, this goes off the idea
00:11:16 that we are to fully consume the lamb
00:11:20 Yeshua, not fe him and just take the
00:11:23 parts that we’d like. We need to eat the
00:11:26 whole right.
00:11:31 Yes.
00:11:32 Now, so we go forward. Your lamb, your
00:11:36 lamb shall be without blemish. I wonder
00:11:38 why. What is now what does now a lot of
00:11:41 times people get this confused?
00:11:45 Um what does it mean to be without
00:11:47 blemish?
00:11:49 Uh so you want to talk about the literal
00:11:51 first? Yes. Let’s talk about the literal
00:11:54 first. Okay. That’s without scars. Okay.
00:11:57 It’s not about color. And a lot of
00:11:59 times, a lot of times, especially modern
00:12:03 interpretations, is like, “Oh, well,
00:12:05 they can’t have any spots on them and
00:12:06 they can’t have this and they can’t have
00:12:08 that.” No, that’s not what that’s
00:12:09 referring to,
00:12:11 Josh. That’s the rabbitical
00:12:13 interpretation. Yes, I agree. Yes. And
00:12:17 it’s been around for a very long time.
00:12:19 Well, I know. Yeah. And most people
00:12:22 still incorrect.
00:12:24 Still incorrect. It is. Yes. So without
00:12:27 blemish means no scars, no broken bones,
00:12:31 no nothing of that kind, correct? Okay.
00:12:35 All right. Moving on.
00:12:38 Okay. So it’s without blemish. A male of
00:12:40 the first year. Okay. Okay. I’m going to
00:12:43 interject if that’s Josh. That’s fine.
00:12:47 The Yeshua died in the prime of his
00:12:50 life. 33 and a half. Mhm. The prime of
00:12:54 the lamb’s life is one year.
00:13:00 Yep. So this is after that the meat
00:13:03 after that the meat begins to get gay
00:13:04 meat. Right. Well, and this is and this
00:13:07 is the great thing because everything
00:13:10 and I’m just going to preface this.
00:13:12 Every single thing that they are
00:13:14 commanded to do for the
00:13:15 Passover points back
00:13:18 uh to the atonement to Yeshua. And this
00:13:23 this actually also points back to the
00:13:25 atonement and specifically it points to
00:13:28 the day of atonement and every man
00:13:30 according to his uh every Okay. And
00:13:33 wait, we didn’t finish verse five yet.
00:13:35 Yeah, I’m sorry. I I went back to verse
00:13:38 four. Ye shall take it ye shall take it
00:13:41 out from the sheep or from the goats.
00:13:43 Now in the day of atonement both sheep
00:13:45 and goats are offered.
00:13:48 Yes. And they both have symbellic
00:13:51 symbolic meanings. Um why is there so?
00:13:55 But in this case we are talking
00:13:57 specifically about Passover. And so um
00:14:02 and I had a question about this and I I
00:14:05 agree with what we were talking about
00:14:06 earlier. I agree with Stephen.
00:14:08 um that it is preferential for it to be
00:14:12 a lamb, highly preferential for it to be
00:14:14 a lamb. However, depending on
00:14:16 circumstances and what can be afforded,
00:14:19 uh you’re not breaking Torah if it is a
00:14:22 goat. Yeah. Uh there’s some when it
00:14:26 comes to Torah, there’s a really there’s
00:14:28 a really fine guiding principle that
00:14:30 everybody needs to be familiar with, and
00:14:32 it’s in uh Deuteronomy chapter 31. If
00:14:35 you don’t mind going there real quick.
00:14:37 Sure, I’ll do that right now. Yeah.
00:14:45 This and this is the way that we have to
00:14:47 look at our Torah observance. This is
00:14:49 the only correct way because this is
00:14:51 this is what’s revealed about it to us
00:14:54 from the mind and will of
00:14:56 Ya. A verse or a key word? Um it is not
00:15:01 it is not far away. It’s not difficult.
00:15:04 Yeah.
00:15:07 Oh. Uh,
00:15:12 okay. I’m gonna pause for one second.
00:15:14 Yep.
00:15:17 Okay.
00:15:19 So, so this is actually a fairly simple
00:15:22 Toric principle that actually needs we
00:15:27 this is how we need to this is this we
00:15:30 need to paint all of Torah with this
00:15:32 brush because this is how God has told
00:15:35 us that we need to paint Torah for this
00:15:38 commandment which I command thee this
00:15:40 day. This is 30 Deuteronomy 30 11
00:15:44 starting in verse 11. We’ll go through
00:15:46 14. For this commandment which I command
00:15:48 thee this day, it is not hidden from
00:15:50 thee, neither is it far
00:15:53 off. It is not in heaven that thou
00:15:56 should say who who shall go up for us to
00:15:59 heaven and bring it onto us that we may
00:16:01 hear it and do it. Neither is it beyond
00:16:03 the sea that thou should say who shall
00:16:05 go over the sea and bring it onto us
00:16:07 that we may hear it and do it. But the
00:16:10 word is very nigh unto
00:16:13 thee in thy mouth and in thy heart that
00:16:18 thou mayest do it.
00:16:23 So it’s not a mystery. The light of
00:16:24 Christ the light of Christ is given to
00:16:26 every man. Yep. And the light of Christ
00:16:29 teaches us Torah.
00:16:33 And so we have to realize that when he
00:16:36 says it is not hidden from thee, this
00:16:39 this translation it is not hidden from
00:16:40 thee. In other translations it says it
00:16:43 is not too difficult. Yeah. Yeah. Some
00:16:46 of this is translation issues.
00:16:49 Yeah. In other translations that it is
00:16:51 not hidden from thee, it is not too
00:16:53 difficult. So when Christians say that
00:16:55 we cannot keep the
00:16:57 Torah, I mean there’s some justification
00:17:00 to that because there’s some things that
00:17:02 we just can’t do right now because the
00:17:04 system is not in place to do them. But
00:17:07 what we can do, we can do
00:17:11 right. And just to to support what Ben’s
00:17:14 saying there, I’ll say this real quick
00:17:16 that uh what I call sermon on Torah,
00:17:19 which most people call sermon on the
00:17:21 mount, Yeshua tells us to be
00:17:24 perfect. And that is a phrase pointing
00:17:28 to Torah because in Psalms or Proverbs,
00:17:31 sorry, I can’t remember, it brings out
00:17:34 how the law is perfect. Yeah. Right. So
00:17:38 when we’re so when we’re looking at
00:17:39 these things, uh if there is a tradition
00:17:43 or a custom that’s sprung up around a
00:17:45 certain holiday that would make it
00:17:47 that’s not possible for you to keep and
00:17:50 it’s not in the Torah itself. Guess
00:17:54 what? You don’t have to do that.
00:17:59 Yeah. That that is a commandment of men,
00:18:02 not a Right. Right. If it’s not actually
00:18:05 the the revelation of the Holy Spirit is
00:18:08 what’s in actual what’s actually written
00:18:10 in Torah itself.
00:18:13 It’s not what’s written in the Talmud.
00:18:17 Now I I I will just add this. Yahweh can
00:18:20 reveal things that are not in uh the
00:18:24 already revealed word of Yahw, but it
00:18:26 will not contradict what is already has
00:18:30 been revealed because there’s not one
00:18:33 word of Ya that comes back void.
00:18:36 Correct. Right. Right. Yes.
00:18:40 Okay.
00:18:42 So that’s So you can you can apply that
00:18:44 to Torah. You can apply that to apparent
00:18:46 contradictions because the mind and will
00:18:48 of y does not contradict.
00:18:50 No. And the issues can be
00:18:55 understanding or trans andor
00:18:58 translations. So anyways, um I I think
00:19:02 we should go back to Exodus 12 now,
00:19:04 right? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Let’s
00:19:06 let’s go back. Yes. Yes. But I just
00:19:09 wanted to get that in there because we
00:19:11 need when we’re looking at these things,
00:19:13 we need to look at them in a can do
00:19:15 level. Yeah. Yeah. Yahweh as in what is
00:19:19 it?
00:19:21 1:37. Yahweh does not provide a
00:19:24 commandment unless he’ll or sorry, he
00:19:26 will not give a commandment unless he
00:19:28 provides a way that we’ll be able to
00:19:29 keep it. Ah, yes. First Nephi chapter
00:19:32 3:7.
00:19:34 Um, all right. So, I’m moving on to uh
00:19:38 verse 6. Zach, would you like to read?
00:19:43 Sorry. Exodus 12.
00:19:46 Exodus 12. Yes. Verse 6. Yes.
00:19:54 Actually have my book with me. Okay.
00:19:59 and he shall keep it up until 14th day
00:20:03 of the same month and the whole assembly
00:20:06 of the congregation of Israel shall kill
00:20:08 it in the evening. Now that’s an
00:20:11 interesting that it specifies in the
00:20:14 evening. I I did a little rooting about
00:20:18 and uh investigation and that actually
00:20:22 equates to uh between the evenings I
00:20:26 believe this yeah you are correct Josh
00:20:28 this is a one of another instance of bad
00:20:32 translation is evenings which in modern
00:20:38 uh Greek clock it is three but the
00:20:43 ancient days it would be
00:20:48 uh 9 as in between 6 which is high noon
00:20:53 right
00:20:54 and 12 which is
00:20:57 sunset 9 right in the middle which
00:21:01 meanings
00:21:03 and the reason it’s phrased that is
00:21:06 because right after high noon everything
00:21:09 after that is considered evening because
00:21:12 the sun is
00:21:14 And the final evening at sunset when the
00:21:17 sun’s actually gone. Right. Right.
00:21:19 Right. So I I found Yeah. I I I thought
00:21:23 that was a
00:21:25 peculiar wording for it and so I did a
00:21:27 little little digging around. I rooted
00:21:30 in some of your I rooted around in some
00:21:31 of your postings, Stephen. And uh so
00:21:35 once again pointing back to
00:21:38 Yeshua.
00:21:40 Yeshua was
00:21:43 He died on the cross between the
00:21:46 evenings. Yes, he did. The exact time
00:21:49 when the Passover lamb that each
00:21:51 household or each head of the household
00:21:54 is supposed to kill that lamb that they
00:21:56 selected on the 10th and as the head of
00:22:00 his own household,
00:22:02 he allowed himself to be slain between
00:22:06 the evenings. Yes. Mhm.
00:22:09 for us to bring right back to him. Yes.
00:22:15 And so this is awesome because I I I I
00:22:18 think we’re tying together here very
00:22:20 nicely. Everything about the
00:22:25 Passover connects
00:22:28 intimately with the atonement.
00:22:31 Yes. And it’s and it was
00:22:34 instituted to to help
00:22:38 the congregation of
00:22:40 Israel to keep in
00:22:45 remembrance who they had put their trust
00:22:48 in.
00:22:50 Along with this, I will skip forward if
00:22:53 Josh will forgive me. Seven, they shall
00:22:56 take the blood and strike it on the two
00:22:59 posts on the upper door post of the
00:23:02 house there in which they eat. Now the
00:23:07 cross has an upper and supportive. Mhm.
00:23:13 And his and he
00:23:14 bled on thereon.
00:23:18 Yes. Yes, he did. He did. Yes, he did.
00:23:24 And and this is also symbolic of I would
00:23:29 and I would encourage uh I would
00:23:31 encourage everybody uh if Stephen could
00:23:34 put it could put a link to it uh in the
00:23:38 um in the video in the information video
00:23:41 information our our study on the red
00:23:44 heer. Uh yeah, I’ll do that. Very good
00:23:47 about what happened at the cross. Yeah,
00:23:50 I’ll I’ll put that a link in there for
00:23:51 you. But this is But this is So they
00:23:56 were to literally take the blood and
00:23:58 strike it on the two side posts and on
00:24:01 the upper doorpost of the houses wherein
00:24:04 they shall eat it, which it they’re
00:24:06 talking about the blood of the lamb that
00:24:08 they’re supposed to be eating, right?
00:24:11 And they’re supposed to strike it on the
00:24:13 two side post and on the upper door post
00:24:15 of the houses. Now, I got stuck on
00:24:17 strike it
00:24:19 um because I’d always I’d always
00:24:22 envisioned it as kind of just like
00:24:24 rubbing it on there and stuff like that.
00:24:25 And I got so stuck on the strike it and
00:24:28 as I was studying and praying about it,
00:24:32 um I realized that that’s really not
00:24:35 that important. Um it doesn’t
00:24:39 matter doesn’t matter how the blood gets
00:24:42 there. No, it matters that it gets
00:24:44 there.
00:24:46 Correct. Now, I I will uh just share
00:24:49 some
00:24:50 tradition that’s out there is that you
00:24:53 kind of go like this where you’re
00:24:54 splattting the blood on it, which is
00:24:56 kind of like them hammering striking
00:25:00 in. And it’s also And it’s also, and
00:25:03 again, this also points back to the day
00:25:06 of atonement where the priest sprinkles
00:25:09 the blood on on the curtain. Yes.
00:25:13 on all the holy pieces seven times. Yes.
00:25:17 Right. Uh one other thing I would like
00:25:19 to say is that how Yeshua is the door.
00:25:23 Yes. Yes. And and and that and that is a
00:25:27 significance of why the blood was to be
00:25:30 put on the two side posts and the upper
00:25:33 door post of the houses because he is
00:25:36 the door. He is the gate
00:25:40 and he employs no servant thereat.
00:25:43 Correct. Correct. That’s from that’s
00:25:45 Book of Mormon for you. Yes. Second
00:25:48 Nephi.
00:25:49 Now, um, moving on to chapter to verse
00:25:52 eight. Andrew, you want to read? Are you
00:25:55 are you able to see?
00:25:58 Uh, it looks like he’s not here right
00:26:00 now. Okay. He might have had to go uh
00:26:03 help with kids. Julie, you want to read?
00:26:11 If you want to read, Julie, you’re
00:26:12 you’re muted.
00:26:18 Uh I I I can read. Uh well, I’ll go
00:26:23 ahead and read. It’s fine. It’s fine. Um
00:26:25 and they shall eat the flesh in that
00:26:27 night, roast with fire, and unleaven
00:26:30 bread, and with better herbs they shall
00:26:33 eat it. Eat not of it raw, nor soden at
00:26:37 all with water. We’re not making stew,
00:26:39 okay? No stew, no
00:26:42 soup, but roast with
00:26:45 fire, his head with his legs, and with
00:26:49 the pertinence thereof.
00:26:52 So, um, I I think we should talk about a
00:26:55 couple things here. Yep. I love that. I
00:26:57 love it that it specifies that it’s
00:26:59 roast with fire. We are at We are
00:27:08 fire
00:27:12 fire is judgment. Fire is and that
00:27:14 that’s the holy the b it’s a
00:27:17 repi it’s a reference to the baptism of
00:27:20 fire
00:27:23 which and the and the baptism of fire
00:27:25 and the baptism of the Holy Ghost are
00:27:27 things in relation to Torah. Yep. the we
00:27:31 receive the baptism of fire when we
00:27:34 covenant and he and he sees that the and
00:27:37 he sees that we are intent that we are
00:27:40 of real intent we’ll receive the baptism
00:27:42 of fire when we covenant to keep all his
00:27:44 commandments
00:27:46 we have done the baptism of water
00:27:49 after we’ve done the baptism of water
00:27:51 yes yes baptism by water is absolutely
00:27:55 it’s the it’s absolutely necessary yes
00:27:58 uh and so that so then and then there’s
00:28:02 a further baptism and then there’s a
00:28:04 further baptism of fire. The baptism of
00:28:06 the Holy Ghost is where we are judged by
00:28:09 Yahwa to actually be walking in his
00:28:12 ways. We are perfected. We are um we are
00:28:18 sanctified in the blood of the lamb.
00:28:20 This is the
00:28:22 thing. We’re
00:28:24 justified purely by the blood of the
00:28:27 lamb.
00:28:29 We’re sanctified as we walk out our
00:28:32 covenant before
00:28:34 him and then he sanctifies us again in
00:28:38 his blood.
00:28:39 [Music]
00:28:43 Yeah. And then also the unleavened bread
00:28:46 deals with how we’re letting go of the
00:28:48 teachings of men. Yes.
00:28:51 Herbs talks about how life is hard,
00:28:57 but we are to take it as in we shall as
00:29:01 in bear up your cross. Yes. Yes.
00:29:07 And the other thing about the bitter
00:29:09 herbs, the other thing about the bitter
00:29:11 herbs is that they represent the
00:29:13 bitterness of bondage, the bitterness of
00:29:15 sin. Y and it’s uh what he frees us
00:29:20 from. Correct. It’s our deliverance.
00:29:23 Yep. As we
00:29:26 with David. Um although he sinned and
00:29:30 was forgiven because he did repent, he
00:29:34 still have some had some consequences
00:29:36 here in mortal life. Yes. But when it
00:29:41 comes to judgment day, those sins will
00:29:43 not be brought up.
00:29:46 No, because see was forgiven. Correct.
00:29:49 Right. And eat not of it raw as in
00:29:53 uncooked or as
00:29:55 in without the baptism of fire which
00:29:58 goes along with later that we have to be
00:30:02 members to partake of this. Okay. Right.
00:30:06 Right. It needs to be cooked with fire
00:30:08 as above which and goes along with
00:30:11 baptism fire which means you are now now
00:30:13 a member
00:30:15 or soden with water. Um I I will be
00:30:20 honest with the context here. I’m not
00:30:23 sure what the deeper meaning there is.
00:30:26 Yeah, I was a little confused on that
00:30:29 point myself. But yeah, the surface
00:30:31 isn’t completely easy. The Yeah, we’re
00:30:34 not making stew. We’re not making soup.
00:30:36 Okay. Yeah. Yeah. The the symbolic level
00:30:40 I’m not sure. But um to add with the
00:30:44 head, you have to do this with Yeshua
00:30:47 and the legs. You have to do this while
00:30:50 walking in his way.
00:30:53 Because legs is symbolic of path or
00:30:57 walking. Yeah. The path. Now the
00:31:00 pertinance thereof goes along with your
00:31:02 heart and your lungs which is where
00:31:05 Torah has to preside. In addition, you
00:31:09 are not you are not to try you are not
00:31:11 this is not telling you that you need to
00:31:13 eat the intestines.
00:31:15 There’s no this is a different issue.
00:31:18 There’s no person who has ever done the
00:31:21 Passover who’s actually eaten the
00:31:23 intestines of the lamb. There there’s
00:31:25 issues with that. But the pertinance
00:31:28 deals with primarily the heart and the
00:31:31 lungs. And that’s the heart is where you
00:31:34 are to have Torah written upon. And the
00:31:37 lungs deals with your breath, which is
00:31:39 another symbolism of Torah.
00:31:44 Yep.
00:31:46 And so in just in just two lines, you
00:31:49 get all of this.
00:31:52 It’s absolutely amazing. It’s
00:31:54 mind-blowing.
00:31:56 The scriptures are deep once you how to
00:32:00 read it fully. All right. So, moving on
00:32:03 to verse 10. Stephen, you want to read?
00:32:07 And ye shall let nothing of it remain
00:32:10 until the morning which goes along that
00:32:13 you shall eat the flesh at night because
00:32:17 that morning is you need to have it done
00:32:19 until
00:32:21 uh till sunrise which night ends. Okay.
00:32:27 That which remain of it until the
00:32:30 morning, you shall burn with fire. Yeah.
00:32:32 Now, this goes along how we have this
00:32:37 life to prepare to meet God. And those
00:32:40 who don’t actually prepare and consume
00:32:42 the Messiah
00:32:44 completely are going to get various
00:32:47 degrees of damnation
00:32:51 because up to and including literally
00:32:54 being burned with fire.
00:32:57 Yes. Now depending to how much you do
00:33:00 consume of the Messiah will determine
00:33:03 what degree of damation you get. Uh
00:33:07 because even
00:33:10 anything lower than the celestial glory
00:33:13 is a form or degree of damnation.
00:33:19 And I will point out that we use the
00:33:20 word glory on purpose because there is
00:33:22 but one kingdom of heaven. Correct. And
00:33:25 I have a resource page I I will add on
00:33:28 that that brings that out even from the
00:33:30 Bible without the JST. Right.
00:33:34 Right. All right. But here is the part
00:33:37 where uh the seder will get you in
00:33:39 trouble. Um the next verse uh the seder
00:33:43 will get you in trouble. Uh and thus
00:33:46 shall ye eat it with your loins girded
00:33:49 and your shoes on your feet and your
00:33:51 staff in your hand. And ye shall eat it
00:33:54 in haste. It is Yahwist Passover.
00:34:01 Do you want to explain why that goes
00:34:02 against the seder? Well, because the
00:34:05 seder uh actually pretty much
00:34:08 specifically says that you shall be
00:34:10 relaxed.
00:34:12 Correct. While you are Passover meal.
00:34:16 Yeah, they actually kind of say to the
00:34:17 point Well, okay, I’m doing it a little
00:34:19 too far, but you should lean backwards
00:34:21 as I’m falling over. Yeah, don’t do
00:34:24 that. That that would
00:34:28 But that
00:34:30 Yes, it even goes so far as to say you
00:34:33 should be reclined. Yeah, that that’s
00:34:35 why I was doing this. I don’t remember
00:34:36 the exact word, but um in addition which
00:34:39 is in direct contradiction to what is
00:34:42 written
00:34:46 in addition saters were added after 70
00:34:51 AD when the temple was destroyed. That’s
00:34:54 historical. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. That’s a
00:34:58 matter of historicity. Anybody who says
00:35:02 that the last supper was a seder
00:35:04 Passover
00:35:07 wrong.
00:35:08 And I don’t know if Josh wants to get
00:35:10 into it now, but they used leaven bread
00:35:13 and they
00:35:14 left for the morning. And so here, this
00:35:17 part that we just read is about how you
00:35:20 have to before morning. There are other
00:35:22 passages
00:35:24 uh that deal how you can’t even leave
00:35:27 before morning. and Judas and Yeshua
00:35:31 with the rest of the group did leave
00:35:33 before the morning. That was so it was
00:35:35 not it was not this did not happen at
00:35:38 Passover. No, not to mention not to
00:35:40 mention the fact that in the Gospel of
00:35:42 John, it states that the uh crucifixion
00:35:45 of Yeshua was done on the preparation
00:35:48 day, which is another term for Passover
00:35:52 because the religious reference
00:35:54 preparation day. It’s not because it’s
00:35:57 the day before the weekly Sabbath. It is
00:36:00 because the the last day you have to get
00:36:03 rid of your bread starchs or the leaven,
00:36:06 right? The leaven. Yes. It is bread
00:36:09 starch. It’s not leaven per se because
00:36:12 leavenan is in the air. Well, that is
00:36:15 true. Get rid of all the air in your
00:36:17 house. It is. Well, that would be that
00:36:21 that would be kind of suicidal. Yeah, I
00:36:23 see what you’re saying. Uh anyways, um
00:36:26 but yes, get rid of your bread starters
00:36:29 and stuff like that, right? Yeast
00:36:32 and there are other things. No, you can
00:36:34 have yeast bread starter cuz yeast is in
00:36:37 the air and you can have wine
00:36:42 on past and that is with yeast.
00:36:48 Yeah.
00:36:52 All right. So,
00:36:54 right. I like this in verse 13. The
00:36:57 blood shall be to you for a token upon
00:37:00 the houses where ye are. And when I see
00:37:03 the blood, I will pass over you, and the
00:37:07 plague shall not be upon you to destroy
00:37:09 you when I smite the land of Egypt.
00:37:13 Well, just just to piggyback off of what
00:37:15 Stephen was talking about
00:37:18 before with regards to the leaven, if
00:37:21 you look at the uh if you look at the
00:37:23 Hebrew scriptures, you’ll find that
00:37:25 there are three different um Hebrew
00:37:28 words that con that connotate different
00:37:32 types of levan. And there’s actually and
00:37:35 there and there’s only one type that’s
00:37:37 not even to be seen in your
00:37:40 house and that is the bread starters.
00:37:43 Yeah. Right. Okay. It’s not this thing
00:37:46 that the Orthodox and their followers
00:37:51 Pharisees do to get rid of all 11
00:37:55 because that’s impossible to be literal.
00:37:58 Well, you’d suffocate. Well, as you
00:38:00 pointed out, Stephen, you’d suffocate.
00:38:02 Yeah. the the intent of the the deeper
00:38:05 meaning of this is to get rid of the
00:38:08 false teachings of men. Yes. Uh because
00:38:13 levan has symbolism of
00:38:16 teaching. Uh and could be good teaching
00:38:18 or bad teaching. It’s just teaching. But
00:38:21 here as we accept the Messiah, part of
00:38:24 doing that is letting go of the false
00:38:26 traditions of the world.
00:38:29 Right. Right.
00:38:32 And and and now Egypt here, he’s he’s
00:38:35 equating Egypt with the way of men, with
00:38:40 the arm with the flesh of the arm of the
00:38:43 flesh of man. And if we fall under his
00:38:47 covering, then we have no need of that.
00:38:50 And when they get smitten, we will be
00:38:54 passed over.
00:38:57 So yeah, and that and that actually has
00:39:01 some end time
00:39:03 um shadows to it because there will be a
00:39:07 place Zion that will not be touched when
00:39:10 the rest of the world is getting
00:39:12 lammoed. Yeah. And I in Revelations I if
00:39:17 my memory serves me right, it’s
00:39:19 Revelations 3:10 that actually states
00:39:21 that that you will the whole hour
00:39:26 um go to the right place. So I I
00:39:30 I’m summarizing and interpreting a
00:39:33 little bit. Um and that right place is
00:39:35 Zion.
00:39:36 But Revelations 3:10, if I’m remembering
00:39:40 the uh Yeah, it’s in the pastor. It’s in
00:39:43 the pastoral section from John writing
00:39:46 to the church at Philadelphia. Right.
00:39:48 Right. Um but that hour does point to
00:39:52 the seven years of tribulation. So yes
00:39:57 and yes it does.
00:40:00 And lest anybody be confused and think
00:40:04 that Passover is no longer a thing, this
00:40:07 next verse is for you.
00:40:11 And this day shall be unto you for a
00:40:14 memorial, and ye shall keep it a feast
00:40:17 to the Lord. What is What is the
00:40:19 purpose? What’s the purpose of a
00:40:20 memorial?
00:40:23 To remember. Yeah. To keep something
00:40:26 fresh in your mind. Yes. Yeah.
00:40:30 And you shall keep it observed. Just
00:40:33 like Memorial
00:40:35 Day, just like Memorial Day in America,
00:40:38 we were supposed to observe the memory
00:40:40 of uh the memory of veterans and other
00:40:43 people who’ve served our country.
00:40:46 This is a memorial of Yeshua of Yoshua’s
00:40:51 deliverance of us. Yes. Yes. On this US
00:40:56 part, I I will add some support to that.
00:41:00 um is is I don’t know how much we’re
00:41:03 going to have time for this because I
00:41:04 have a big mouth, but
00:41:08 um we are told
00:41:11 uh through the scriptures
00:41:13 to see this as if we ourselves were
00:41:17 there,
00:41:19 right?
00:41:22 So, yes.
00:41:26 Okay. So, go on go on. Sorry, Josh. I
00:41:28 just wanted Oh, thank you. Thank you for
00:41:30 that memorial. Um, uh, ye shall keep it
00:41:34 a feast to the Lord throughout your
00:41:37 generations. What?
00:41:39 Throughout your generations. What? Well,
00:41:43 well, let’s get to the f word. Okay.
00:41:45 Yeah. Ye shall keep it a feast by an
00:41:49 ordinance forever.
00:41:53 There’s that f
00:41:54 word. Well, the whole thing is forever.
00:41:58 And let me remind everyone here, forever
00:42:00 is a really long time. So did my the
00:42:04 question that I ask is did forever end
00:42:07 at the crucifixion of Yeshua? Uh we can
00:42:10 check the dictionary, but I bet the
00:42:12 dictionary will say no. Is does is
00:42:15 heaven or earth is heaven and earth
00:42:18 still here? Yes, it is. And are we
00:42:21 having this conversation? Yes.
00:42:25 Yeah. That f word forever is well. You
00:42:29 know what this means, right? A long
00:42:31 time. It actually means forever. Yeah.
00:42:34 Yeah. Yeah.
00:42:36 I know the verse doesn’t say this, but I
00:42:38 will say forever means this eternity,
00:42:43 right? And so for those who think that
00:42:48 Torah was nailed to the
00:42:51 cross, this just shots you down. Yeah.
00:42:55 Because there’s that f word forever.
00:42:59 Say forever. Stephen likes the way I say
00:43:03 it. Forever
00:43:06 because it takes forever to say it,
00:43:08 right? Exactly.
00:43:10 Seven day. So seven days shall you eat
00:43:14 unleavened bread.
00:43:16 Yep.
00:43:19 Even the first day you shall put away
00:43:21 the leaven out of your houses. For
00:43:23 whosoever eateth leavened bread from the
00:43:26 first day until the seventh day, that
00:43:28 soul shall be cut off from is from
00:43:31 Israel. And now there’s a reason for
00:43:34 this. It’s because 11 represents false
00:43:37 doctrine. And here in this context, not
00:43:41 always. Yeah. In this context, the
00:43:44 leaven represents false doctrine.
00:43:46 And this is that time of year where we
00:43:49 are
00:43:50 recommitting ourselves to follow Yahwa
00:43:54 and to keep his law and to keep his
00:43:56 commandments in spirit and in
00:43:59 truth. And what you’re eating? You’re
00:44:03 eating leaven.
00:44:06 Mhm.
00:44:08 When he told you not
00:44:12 to. So let us keep the beast.
00:44:16 in with the leavenven of malice, but
00:44:19 with the unleavened bread of sincerity
00:44:21 and truth.
00:44:23 And he’s quoting Paul there. Yes. Yes.
00:44:26 Yes. I I will add a little bit more in
00:44:30 that this goes along the 7 day of
00:44:33 creation prophecy that actually is a
00:44:36 prophecy of all the seven millenniums of
00:44:40 mortality.
00:44:41 Yeah. about all of mortality of men. We
00:44:46 are not to accept the teachings and
00:44:50 commandments of men.
00:44:53 Only to accept the teachings and
00:44:55 commandments that come from Yahweh
00:44:59 through his personal mouth or through
00:45:01 the mouth of his servants.
00:45:04 Right?
00:45:06 Authorized servants, not the pretended
00:45:09 ones. So not the ones who say they’re
00:45:11 servants while they serve themselves,
00:45:13 right? And if you don’t do that, you’re
00:45:16 cut off from being among in the kingdom,
00:45:21 which another term is Israel. Those who
00:45:26 have wrestled with men and Yahweh and
00:45:29 have prevailed,
00:45:32 right?
00:45:33 as in I think it’s I I always say it’s
00:45:37 best to let the scriptures define those
00:45:39 words for us when they do and Israel is
00:45:43 already defined for us in the scriptures
00:45:46 as those
00:45:48 who h who have joged with God and man
00:45:53 and have prevailed with God. Yeah. Yeah.
00:45:57 And that’s the literal translation of
00:45:59 Israel. Yes. And Jacob is the most
00:46:03 prominent example of that in the
00:46:05 scriptures as in his naming or becoming
00:46:10 because name is uh an idiom for
00:46:13 character. His correct was born again.
00:46:17 Right. Became a new man. A new man.
00:46:22 Yeah. Not an old man with no excuses,
00:46:24 right?
00:46:26 Yes. Yeah. Yes. All right. So scrolling.
00:46:30 Okay. Down.
00:46:34 Okay.
00:46:35 All
00:46:36 right. Now it’s it and in the first day
00:46:40 there shall be an holy convocation and
00:46:43 that means
00:46:46 yes a Sabbath a meeting. So in addition
00:46:49 to this this is part of the traveling
00:46:51 feast that where the whole congregation
00:46:53 gets together. Right. But also this is
00:46:57 on the 2. Oh no, sorry. This is the
00:47:02 first day. So this is on the 15th of the
00:47:04 moon, which is a lunar Sabbath, correct?
00:47:09 I’ll just say this real quick. All the
00:47:12 controversies about when these high
00:47:15 holidays are supposed to happen within
00:47:18 the lunar Sabbath calendar, they’re all
00:47:21 resolved. And I I I know that might be
00:47:24 hard to believe for those who don’t
00:47:25 believe in the lunar Sabbath, but it
00:47:28 literally does. And I do have a post
00:47:30 about it called Abide New Moon Day. I’ll
00:47:33 put a link to. And don’t you have an
00:47:36 app?
00:47:37 I do have an app that I wrote for free
00:47:40 for Android for people to have. Yes, I
00:47:44 have that app and it’s a very helpful
00:47:45 app by the way. Yeah, it does multiple
00:47:48 things. um primarily all about the
00:47:50 calendar but there’s
00:47:52 multiple issues along the calendar that
00:47:55 should go along with daily life and all
00:47:57 the you want to say more right um but
00:48:01 and then so on the first day there’s to
00:48:03 be a convocation and on the seventh day
00:48:06 there shall be a holy convocation to you
00:48:08 so actually
00:48:10 convocation mean the holy convocation is
00:48:13 a day of gathering a a holy day of
00:48:15 gathering yep
00:48:18 It’s a day of gathering in which no
00:48:20 manner of work shall be done. Now that
00:48:24 which every man must eat, that only may
00:48:26 be done of you. Correct. Now, so this
00:48:29 goes off of multiple things. This is the
00:48:31 seventh day of the week, which would be
00:48:33 the
00:48:34 22nd, which is another Sabbath. Yes. In
00:48:39 addition, this is a verse that goes
00:48:41 against the false traditions of the
00:48:45 Pharisees.
00:48:47 orthodox that says you can’t cook on the
00:48:49 Sabbath. Here is a verse that
00:48:51 specifically states you should cook on
00:48:54 the Sabbath, which also is taught in DNC
00:48:57 59. Boom.
00:49:01 The restoration is restoring truth.
00:49:05 Right? He was just copying false
00:49:07 traditions. He wouldn’t have put that in
00:49:10 cuz most people
00:49:12 who are striving to keep Torah are
00:49:15 keeping that false tradition. You can’t
00:49:17 cook on the Sabbath where right here is
00:49:21 a commandment saying to cook on the
00:49:24 Sabbath on the eighth. I know the eighth
00:49:27 day is generally just on a tabernacle,
00:49:29 but I will also say there’s an eighth
00:49:31 day of unleavened bread that we That’s
00:49:35 exactly. Yeah. That’s largely so that
00:49:38 people could avoid traveling on the
00:49:40 traveling on the Sabbath, right? During
00:49:43 the between
00:49:46 uh sunrise and sunset because those and
00:49:49 to be specific, that is your Sabbath
00:49:52 hours between sunrise and sunset. Yes,
00:49:55 after sunset is your own time. Which is
00:49:58 why they, the Israelites, traveled on
00:50:01 the Sabbath in the evening.
00:50:04 Otherwise, they would have been breaking
00:50:06 the commandment of bearing a burden on
00:50:09 the Sabbath because they were taking
00:50:12 stuff. So, right. Side note, sorry.
00:50:16 And I like I like verse 17. Uh, also you
00:50:20 shall observe the feast of unleavened
00:50:22 bread. For in this selfsame day have I
00:50:24 brought your armies out of the land of
00:50:25 Egypt. Therefore shall you observe this
00:50:28 day in your generations by an ordinance
00:50:30 forever.
00:50:33 There’s that again. The feast of
00:50:35 unleavened bread commanded forever.
00:50:38 Right? But I love it. I I love what he
00:50:43 says here. He’s basically saying, “Hey,
00:50:45 you you keep this to remember that I
00:50:49 have separated you from the world.” Now,
00:50:52 I do I do find that word that’s used
00:50:55 there, armies,
00:50:58 to be really interesting word there. Um,
00:51:02 yep. Uh
00:51:05 because
00:51:07 they the these people who were led out
00:51:10 of Israel, the next
00:51:12 generation, every single one of those
00:51:14 people would be every single one of
00:51:16 those men would be in the armies that
00:51:19 would take the land in which they would
00:51:22 rest. I I agree with that. One thing
00:51:24 also just looking at the uh footnote, it
00:51:28 can also be host. So you’re right. Yes,
00:51:31 can be. Well,
00:51:33 absolutely. Yeah. Yeah. This is another
00:51:36 uh can be one of the fun translation
00:51:39 issues, right?
00:51:41 But there’s but there’s, you know, I’m
00:51:43 just saying that there’s in valuable
00:51:45 insights to be gathered from some
00:51:47 sometimes from these translation issues.
00:51:49 Oh, yeah. Yeah. You have to look into
00:51:52 it, which is uh absolutely searching the
00:51:55 scriptures is what we’re commanded to
00:51:57 do. We’re never commanded to read the
00:52:00 scriptures. Absolutely. commanded to
00:52:02 search them. Absolutely. Yes. Yeah. Not
00:52:05 just to scan the scriptures, but to
00:52:07 search the scriptures. Yeah. There’s no
00:52:10 commandment just to read them. There’s
00:52:11 no way. Yeah. If you if all you do is uh
00:52:14 if all you do is read the scriptures,
00:52:16 you’re probably not doing you’re not
00:52:19 doing that much for yourself. It’s
00:52:21 better than not reading them. It’s
00:52:23 better than not Yeah, it’s better than
00:52:25 not even paying attention to them at
00:52:27 all.
00:52:29 But you should be using the scriptures
00:52:33 to answer pressing questions that you
00:52:35 have. Yep. If you’ve asked a question,
00:52:39 if you’ve asked a question of ya in your
00:52:41 prayers in the night, get up and study
00:52:44 the scriptures about that question.
00:52:46 Search the scriptures for the answer to
00:52:48 that question. Well, you’ll find them.
00:52:51 Is that like search and you shall find?
00:52:54 Maybe. Yeah. Seek and you shall find.
00:52:57 Knock and it shall be opened unto you.
00:52:59 Yeah. You just have to know the right
00:53:00 door. Yeah. So, um Yes. Very good, Ben.
00:53:05 As in the right Messiah, right? Yep.
00:53:07 Yep. Yep. Yep. So, I I do want to talk
00:53:10 about this word ordinance real quick.
00:53:12 I’ll let Josh decide if we actually go
00:53:14 look at the 1828 dictionary, but the
00:53:16 first definition of ordinance is
00:53:18 actually law. So, this is a law.
00:53:23 Let’s go to the dictionary. Let’s go to
00:53:24 the dictionary. Okay, I’ll get it. But
00:53:26 there’s that. Yeah. But
00:53:30 ordinance hard, right? Well, this
00:53:33 forever allow people to see that
00:53:35 definition. This will allow people to
00:53:37 see that definition, right? Yeah. Okay.
00:53:40 So, let me share my screen and Yeah.
00:53:43 Look, we can look at something else that
00:53:45 I was trying to find.
00:53:48 Well, I I I’m not proud. I I I’m more
00:53:52 personally more worried about the
00:53:53 concepts than having all the verses
00:53:56 memorized. Yeah. Right. If you don’t
00:53:59 believe me, ask these guys. I have a one
00:54:03 note with tons of notes that’s
00:54:06 gigabytes large. I I Oh, yeah.
00:54:11 My sadly, I’m not remember capable of
00:54:15 remembering everything yet.
00:54:17 Um, speaking which which word was I
00:54:19 looking up again? Ordinance.
00:54:24 Ordinance. Speaking of my memory issues.
00:54:30 Um, yeah. Anyways. All right. There we
00:54:34 go. A rule.
00:54:36 Oh, wait a minute. Isn’t rule another
00:54:38 word for law? Yep.
00:54:41 A rule established by authority. A
00:54:44 permanent
00:54:45 permanent rule of action. An ordinance
00:54:49 may be a law or statute of sovereign
00:54:52 power. Is permanent like the forever
00:54:56 forever word? Gosh. Forever. Okay.
00:55:02 Yep. It is that. Okay. Perfect.
00:55:06 All right. So that that is the very
00:55:08 first definition of the word ordinance.
00:55:11 Um, you know, it’s very it’s also very
00:55:14 interesting to note that in the original
00:55:17 articles of faith, it didn’t talk about
00:55:20 principles and ordinances of the gospel.
00:55:23 It said the first ordinances. It was
00:55:25 just
00:55:26 ordinances. That’s a change that the
00:55:29 Bergamite LDS church did. Yeah. It says
00:55:32 first ordinances of the gospel are
00:55:35 faith. In other words, the first laws of
00:55:39 the gospel are faith in the Lord Jesus
00:55:42 Christ. Second, repentance. You know, I
00:55:45 will say just another way to be a little
00:55:47 more clear in today’s modern vernacular,
00:55:50 the first law. You are commanded to have
00:55:54 faith. Yeah. You are commanded to
00:55:58 repent. You are
00:56:01 commandized by water. If there is no if
00:56:05 the Torah is done away with, you have no
00:56:10 you have no means by which to judge what
00:56:12 you should repent of because in addition
00:56:15 you
00:56:17 John in his epistle said
00:56:20 that sin that sin is what we have to
00:56:24 repent of. We don’t have to repent of
00:56:28 mistakes. You don’t have to repent of
00:56:30 mistakes. Sin is what we have to repent
00:56:32 of. And
00:56:34 sin is the transgression of the law.
00:56:38 Yes. So if the law was nailed to the
00:56:42 cross with Yeshua, then we have nothing
00:56:45 to repent of. We have
00:56:47 no Well, number one, he obiated his
00:56:51 need. He obiated the need for himself.
00:56:55 Yeah. Number two. Yeah.
00:56:58 Um, and number
00:57:01 two, then we have no
00:57:05 knowledge of what we need to repent of
00:57:07 because we have no reference for sin
00:57:10 because sin is the transgression of the
00:57:12 law, right? And Paul even brings out how
00:57:15 he did not know sin until he knew the
00:57:17 law because he without the law, you
00:57:20 don’t know what sin is. In addition, the
00:57:23 the the tricky phrase that the nail was
00:57:26 nailed, the law was nailed to the cross
00:57:28 from Paul. I do deal with in my law of
00:57:32 Moses page and I that’s probably enough
00:57:34 to say on that because that’s a big
00:57:36 subject of itself. Yeah, that is a huge
00:57:40 subject all by itself. Yes. Which we
00:57:42 won’t go into right now. Um but we will
00:57:46 go to Leviticus 23. Okay.
00:57:53 Um, and I think we’re going to start at
00:57:55 verse five. Yes.
00:58:00 Um, so they’re they’re so they’re
00:58:05 talking about appointed times or the and
00:58:08 uh holy convocations and and uh feast
00:58:12 days and things of that nature. And uh
00:58:16 starting in verse five, he says, ‘In the
00:58:18 14th day of the first month, even at
00:58:22 even or at sunset, right,
00:58:27 is you always Passover.
00:58:30 Yeah. So just something to go over here
00:58:34 in scripture, wherever you see the
00:58:36 uppercase Lord, the Lord, that what was
00:58:41 actually written there is his name.
00:58:44 Yeah. Yahweh. The idea that it’s the
00:58:48 in I can’t say it, but the idea that
00:58:51 you’re not supposed to say it is the
00:58:53 false traditions of the Pharisees. And
00:58:55 you can get that from the Old Testament.
00:58:57 My favorite example is Ruth. You in
00:59:01 Ruth, the book of Ruth, it brings out
00:59:02 how you are the people greeted each
00:59:05 other with Yahweh’s name.
00:59:09 They greeted each other with that name.
00:59:15 Yeah, the ineffable name. We do have uh
00:59:18 some script. Ineffable name. That’s it.
00:59:19 The ineffable name. The ineffable name
00:59:21 doctrine actually came about um after
00:59:25 Yeshua. Correct. Um and for those who
00:59:30 are interested, we did go over Ruth. Uh
00:59:34 I’ll put the link that shows how it’s uh
00:59:37 a complete type of going to Yeshua.
00:59:41 Yeah.
00:59:43 Yes. All right. Um and then on the 15th
00:59:47 day of the same month is the feast of
00:59:49 unleavened bread unto the Lord. Seven
00:59:52 days you must eat seven days you must
00:59:56 eat unleavened bread.
01:00:00 So I mean this does go into another uh
01:00:04 feast. There are three feasts actually
01:00:08 separate ones that kind of get lumped
01:00:10 together. Passover, unleavened bread,
01:00:12 and first fruits. So, and first fruits,
01:00:14 right? Yeah. Because they’re all because
01:00:18 Passover runs into unleavened bread and
01:00:21 first fruits falls in unleavened bread,
01:00:25 right? Now, I I would uh I’ll say this
01:00:29 now. I I I know I don’t do this in my
01:00:31 app, but this is a tricky one to deal
01:00:33 with.
01:00:35 Um, and it’s and anyways, I’ll just say
01:00:39 what it is.
01:00:41 I unleavened bread I do believe starts
01:00:46 in the evening at the same time Passover
01:00:49 does because when you start getting into
01:00:51 some of the other specifics of unleaven
01:00:53 bread, it ends in the evening
01:00:57 of the
01:01:02 truest 20th. It’s the 21st. It’s the
01:01:05 21st. I had to think about it a little
01:01:07 bit. 21st day. Yes. Yes. It ends that
01:01:10 evening, but it starts the evening of
01:01:13 the 14th. There’s your seven days. But
01:01:16 any this is
01:01:18 a uh an interesting tricky little
01:01:21 subject and I don’t really deal with it
01:01:22 because it’s it’s not a big deal. But
01:01:26 just you you go from the evening of the
01:01:28 14th to the evening of the 21st is when
01:01:32 you’re supposed to have unleavened
01:01:33 bread. Meaning you can have
01:01:35 it that night at dinner leavened bread
01:01:40 if you want because the day starts in
01:01:42 the
01:01:43 sunrise not sunset which the Bible and
01:01:48 Book of Mormon both testify of plenty of
01:01:51 times. And I have a resource page about
01:01:54 that. I’ll put in the links and I also
01:01:56 have I also cover that in a presentation
01:01:59 that I did on the new moon uh on the
01:02:02 lunar sabbath and I that’s linked in
01:02:05 that resource page. If not, remind me to
01:02:07 add it. Yeah. Yeah.
01:02:10 Right. And and then just re reiterating
01:02:13 the first days ye shall have and holy
01:02:16 convocation you shall do no survile work
01:02:18 therein. Yeah, this is a Sabbath.
01:02:22 Sabbath because that first day is the
01:02:24 15th which is a lunar Sabbath. Yep.
01:02:30 Crazy. Anyways,
01:02:32 and then ye shall but ye shall offer an
01:02:36 offering made by fire unto the Lord
01:02:39 seven
01:02:41 days. And then on the seventh day is
01:02:43 another holy convocation in which there
01:02:45 shall no survival work be done therein
01:02:48 because again it is a Sabbath. Yes, it’s
01:02:50 the 22nd another lunar Sabbath. So uh I
01:02:54 I will tell you what I am doing uh for
01:02:58 the seven days of burnt offering. I’m
01:03:01 I’m doing a fire.
01:03:04 Well, there you go. So my and this is
01:03:08 now this is something that that like I
01:03:10 said I’m not an expert by any means on
01:03:12 any of this stuff and so my question is
01:03:15 does that mean that there is to be an
01:03:17 offering made by fire each of the seven
01:03:20 days? Yes. Yes. Okay. All right.
01:03:24 Um can can we pause for just a second?
01:03:27 Sure.
01:03:33 So as we were stating uh each of the
01:03:37 seven days requires an offering made by
01:03:41 fire unto Yahweh each of the seven days.
01:03:47 Um which thank you Stephen for
01:03:50 clarifying that for me because I that
01:03:52 was a question that I had while I was
01:03:54 reading through and I was like does that
01:03:55 mean each of the seven days or Yeah. So
01:03:59 I I appreciate that.
01:04:02 Yeah. I I sometimes the King James
01:04:04 English is a little tricky. Right.
01:04:06 Right. Right. Am doing something. It
01:04:09 doesn’t specify ex exactly what uh but
01:04:14 at minimum you ought at least have a
01:04:16 fire depending on your circumstances
01:04:19 because like if you’re an apartment
01:04:20 complex Yeah. That’s not a good idea.
01:04:23 You could do a candle because that is a
01:04:26 fire. Yep.
01:04:28 That would represent a that would
01:04:30 represent a burnt offering of some kind.
01:04:33 Yeah. Yes. And I and I do burning the I
01:04:35 do have and I do have candles. So, yay.
01:04:40 Anyways, just something to think about.
01:04:42 Yeah. Um, scroll down just a smidge.
01:04:49 Where was it? Oh, yes. And now we get
01:04:52 into first fruits because these three.
01:04:55 So, Passover, the feast of unleavened
01:04:57 bread, and first fruits, they all kind
01:05:00 of run together.
01:05:03 Um, they all and they overlap. They
01:05:05 overlap. They’re the same general time
01:05:08 frame and they get into some fairly
01:05:12 specific measurements as far as
01:05:15 offerings and stuff like that go for
01:05:17 first fruits. So, I figured we’d read
01:05:19 through that real quick. Um, so can can
01:05:23 I just say something real quick just to
01:05:26 help give a little prelude to what we’re
01:05:28 seeing? Sure. So Yeshua resurrected on
01:05:33 first fruits. And then you’ll see here
01:05:36 uh one of the things you have to do is
01:05:38 the
01:05:40 priest Yeshua, the ultimate high priest
01:05:43 will take the offering Yeshua and raise
01:05:47 it up as in resurrection going up to
01:05:50 heaven. Right. Right. So let’s just keep
01:05:54 that in mind as we read things through.
01:05:56 Yes. Okay. Uh we’ll start in verse 10.
01:06:00 Ben, you wanna you want to read? Yeah,
01:06:02 sure.
01:06:04 Okay. Speak unto the children of
01:06:06 Yeshuael, and say unto them, when ye
01:06:09 become into the land which I give unto
01:06:12 you,
01:06:14 uh, and shall reap of the harvest
01:06:17 thereof, then you shall bring a sheath
01:06:19 of the first fruits of your harvest unto
01:06:21 the priest. Uhhuh. And so, oh, go ahead,
01:06:26 Ben. Sorry. He shall wave the sheath
01:06:28 before Yah and he to be accepted for you
01:06:33 on the tomorrow after the Sabbath the
01:06:35 priest shall wave it. Okay. So let’s
01:06:38 stop there if that’s okay. So
01:06:41 the sheath when you go look at the
01:06:43 Hebrew on that it can be a measurement
01:06:46 not necessarily things bound together is
01:06:48 the general tradition. Um, right. Which
01:06:52 I I will say I’m more inclined to
01:06:55 believe it is a measurement because we
01:06:57 go down. Uh, we’re talking about a
01:07:00 measurement of fine flour, of barley
01:07:04 because of the season that we have to
01:07:06 have to be made into unleavened bread to
01:07:09 offer unto Yahweh. Right. Right. Um, in
01:07:14 addition, um,
01:07:20 I was going to say something else and
01:07:21 now I forgot it. So if I come up again,
01:07:24 I’ll bring it up. Sorry. Well, and I I
01:07:27 do once again want to bring out that
01:07:32 um how the sheep is raised up before
01:07:36 Yahwa. Yeah. as Yeshua was the first
01:07:41 fruits as second Nephi 2 actually calls
01:07:44 him because he is the first one that was
01:07:46 resurrected and went into heaven. Yes.
01:07:50 Well, and it it it further points that
01:07:53 out in verse 12 when it says, “And ye
01:07:55 shall offer that day when you waved the
01:07:57 sheath and he lamb without blemish in
01:07:59 the first year for a burnt offering unto
01:08:01 Yahweh.” Yeah. So, I will tell you I I I
01:08:05 am burning some lamb on that day.
01:08:09 Oh, sure. No, I I will be honest. Okay,
01:08:12 I’m going to add something here. Um,
01:08:14 there are things in the scriptures that
01:08:18 uh the individuals or households needs
01:08:20 to do do and there’s things that the
01:08:23 priests need to do. Yes.
01:08:26 I tend to believe that 12 is something
01:08:31 that the priests are to do and not the
01:08:34 general household, right? like 12
01:08:38 the raising up the sheath and the what
01:08:40 have you. Well, no, I’m specifically
01:08:43 talking the burning of a lamb burnt
01:08:45 offering on that day that particular day
01:08:51 to be the priest. I don’t believe that
01:08:54 every household needs to do that. Now, I
01:08:58 will also say I’m not 100%
01:09:01 uh sure on that. That is my current
01:09:03 belief on it because there’s the way
01:09:06 it’s worded. It’s a little ambiguous. I
01:09:09 have looked at the Hebrew. I still think
01:09:11 it’s a little ambiguous. That’s my
01:09:13 current belief. But I am burning lamb
01:09:16 myself,
01:09:18 right? Or will be because it I gota I
01:09:21 gotcha. Um so um Ben, you want to read
01:09:26 13? Okay. Uh, and the meat offering
01:09:30 thereof shall I I just want to I sorry I
01:09:34 know I have big mouth that’s bread
01:09:36 offering
01:09:37 right for those who and the meat
01:09:40 offering thereof shall be two tenth
01:09:42 deals of fine flour mingled with oil an
01:09:45 offering made by fire unto y for a sweet
01:09:49 savor and the drink offering thereof
01:09:52 shall be of wine the fourth part of an
01:09:55 hen okay so does anybody know how much a
01:09:58 hint is uh not off top of my head, but I
01:10:01 do know what a fourth part is and it’s
01:10:03 one it’s one and a half gallons. Yeah.
01:10:05 Uh liters gallons, but those are
01:10:08 basically the same, right? And then the
01:10:11 the two10 deals um that is actually uh
01:10:15 equal to a modern-day bushel. Yeah. So
01:10:19 on the fourth part of Hen that is the
01:10:22 two bottles of the typical typical wine
01:10:25 bottles, right? Yes. Yes.
01:10:28 Yes. Okay. You don’t have to I It is
01:10:32 unclear here if you need to drink it or
01:10:35 pour it. I’m doing some of both myself.
01:10:39 Yeah, there is It is not specific as to
01:10:41 what should be done with it. No, it is
01:10:44 not. Um uh Zach, you want to read verse
01:10:49 14 real quick on the sweet savor that
01:10:52 has to go along with incense and
01:10:54 prayers.
01:10:56 This offering is a prayer unto Yahweh as
01:11:00 all offerings actually ultimately are
01:11:03 you’re asking if nothing else for
01:11:06 forgiveness and to receive his
01:11:10 Yeah. In
01:11:12 fact, for example, the peace offering is
01:11:16 asking to get his peace.
01:11:19 Mhm.
01:11:20 a in and an ordinance or law that is
01:11:25 very symbolic of the one that gives it
01:11:28 to
01:11:28 us. So, right.
01:11:34 Okay. Um, yes. So,
01:11:37 um, moving on, Zach, would you like to
01:11:40 read verse 14?
01:11:43 And ye shall eat neither bread nor
01:11:45 parched corn nor green ears until the
01:11:49 selfsame day that they ye have brought
01:11:53 an offering unto your Elohim or Yeah.
01:11:56 Yeah. It shall be your statue forever
01:11:58 throughout your
01:11:59 generations and all your dwellings.
01:12:02 There’s that f word again.
01:12:04 [Music]
01:12:05 Forever. Um forever.
01:12:09 Yeah. Now I I do want to clarify here.
01:12:12 Okay? Because um that could sound
01:12:16 contradictory how we’re supposed to have
01:12:17 unleavened bread of the first day of
01:12:19 unleaven bread. Right? Now, when you go
01:12:22 into the Hebrew of this, this is go to
01:12:25 bed.
01:12:27 You are not to have any bread of the new
01:12:31 barley, the new grain until you offered
01:12:35 the first fruits.
01:12:37 Right. Yes. Yes. of the last year or
01:12:40 older seasons, not the new season, not
01:12:45 not the current harvest season. Correct.
01:12:47 Yes.
01:12:49 Right. But the King James translation
01:12:55 uh will be desired in many instances.
01:12:58 Yes.
01:13:01 Yeah. All right. So, um I we’re gonna
01:13:04 move on to Deuteronomy 16 real quick.
01:13:10 Um where was it? Well, there’s one the
01:13:14 whole basically pretty much the whole
01:13:17 chapter.
01:13:21 Um, so this is this is yet again another
01:13:28 reiteration of how important Passover
01:13:31 is.
01:13:32 Passover is a forever ordinance.
01:13:37 What? There’s that freaking F-word.
01:13:40 Yeah. And ordinance. Then the word
01:13:42 ordinance. Oh, yeah. That law. I mean, I
01:13:45 I
01:13:46 It is a forever. I I will I know
01:13:49 sometimes I do things to be funny.
01:13:51 Here’s another funny one. Yahweh
01:13:53 commands us to party.
01:13:57 Yes. Well, he does.
01:14:00 So, yeah. I I I I will just say I find
01:14:03 it interesting that some of the
01:14:07 commandments that are fought against the
01:14:09 most are the party commandments. Oh, I
01:14:11 know.
01:14:13 Anyways, sorry.
01:14:16 Okay. Right. Um, observe the month of
01:14:20 Abib. Okay. I I I’m going to insert my
01:14:23 big mouth. A bib means the month of the
01:14:26 green grain.
01:14:30 That’s the literal translation, right?
01:14:32 Yeah. The the the month in where the
01:14:37 grain is starting to come, right? Not
01:14:40 that it’s in a particular phase that
01:14:43 that it is starting to come. It’s the
01:14:45 young green phase. In fact, if you go
01:14:49 look at the Hebrew, it does bring up
01:14:50 green and young. Um,
01:14:55 which goes along with Genesis uh 11:14
01:14:59 and 16 about uh it starts after um the
01:15:04 solar equinox. Oh, well that makes
01:15:08 actually that makes sense. Yeah. Start
01:15:10 the then the first day of Abib is the
01:15:13 first new moon day after the uh uh the
01:15:19 spring equinox. Yes. Mhm. Uh and it has
01:15:24 absolutely nothing to do with the
01:15:26 ripening of brain. No. Because it’s
01:15:29 green or young. When you go look at the
01:15:31 Hebrew, this is another false tradition
01:15:33 that we’ve I don’t know how many we’ve
01:15:35 done in this uh recording, but you go
01:15:38 look at the Hebrew, it’s young green,
01:15:40 right? As in not yet ripe, correct? And
01:15:45 so, just on that point, the offering you
01:15:47 give to Yahweh doesn’t have to be ripe.
01:15:50 It never anywhere says it needs to be
01:15:53 ripe. In addition, just FYI, uh this
01:15:57 initially happened in Egypt.
01:16:00 And the grain or barley that’s grown in
01:16:03 Egypt is different than in Canaa or the
01:16:06 promised land. Um, and different
01:16:10 barley’s ripen at different times. In
01:16:13 addition, the same barley planted in
01:16:16 different locations ripen at different
01:16:18 times. So, which location do you go off
01:16:21 of and which barley,
01:16:24 right?
01:16:26 Whereas if you simply flavor do you need
01:16:29 to use whereas if you simply go by a
01:16:32 looney solar calendar it’s not arbitrary
01:16:36 correct it’s very specific but anyways
01:16:40 yes so thank thank you for that. Um once
01:16:44 again that whole idea it’s not hidden
01:16:48 from you. It’s not hard for you to keep.
01:16:52 And I’ll tell you, when I first woke up
01:16:54 to Torah, I I had a lot a long time of
01:16:58 learning curve. And hopefully these
01:17:00 things will help people not go through
01:17:02 the learning curve I did. Okay? But
01:17:05 Genesis 1:14 specifically states, “All
01:17:10 appointed times, which uh Passover is
01:17:14 part of, including the weekly Sabbath,
01:17:17 are determined by the sun and the
01:17:19 moon. Period.
01:17:24 Right. Right.
01:17:28 Okay.
01:17:31 Um, yes.
01:17:35 Um, I think we’re on two. Yes, we are on
01:17:39 two. Um, Stephen, you want to read?
01:17:43 Oh, actually, we didn’t finish one
01:17:45 because of my big mouth. and keep
01:17:47 Passover unto Yahweh uh Elhenu. For in
01:17:51 the month of the young green uh grain,
01:17:56 Yahweh Ehenu brought thee out forth out
01:17:59 of Egypt by night, as I brought up
01:18:02 earlier, because it is forbidden to do
01:18:06 work and burdens on the Sabbath. That’s
01:18:08 why they went by night because the night
01:18:11 is after the day,
01:18:14 right? the day and the Sabbath was over.
01:18:18 Yeah. The Sabbath is only in Greek terms
01:18:21 only 12 hours, not 24.
01:18:25 Right. Anyway, so now I’ll do two. Thou
01:18:28 therefore sacrifice the Passover unto
01:18:31 Yahweh
01:18:32 Elohinu of the flock and the herd in the
01:18:38 place which Yahweh shall choose to place
01:18:42 his name thereof. Okay. So, the herd
01:18:44 that could go with the lamb or the goats
01:18:46 as we go on with Well, a flock is
01:18:48 usually referred to uh is usually sheep
01:18:52 and a herd is usually goats. Oh, I
01:18:56 didn’t know that. Thank you. But this in
01:18:59 the place in the place where Ya has
01:19:02 chosen to place his name there, that is
01:19:04 not a reference to the Jerusalem temple.
01:19:07 No. In fact, guess what? I don’t see the
01:19:10 word o ne in that
01:19:13 uh sentence anywhere as in one as
01:19:18 another false tradition that’s pushed
01:19:20 out there. It just says a place that he
01:19:24 said is okay to do it. Right? And in
01:19:28 fact, just FYI, a little bit of uh
01:19:31 history in the Old Testament that a lot
01:19:33 of people don’t like to focus on because
01:19:35 it goes against false traditions. There
01:19:37 were multiple temples uh
01:19:40 authorized temples of Yahweh in the Old
01:19:43 Testament. Um I said authorized on
01:19:45 purpose. They’ve actually and they’ve
01:19:47 actually found one uh just three days
01:19:51 journey south of Jerusalem. and three
01:19:54 days is very specific which is uh even
01:19:57 in reference to Passover or the events
01:20:01 before Passover where Moses saying let
01:20:04 the people travel three days to make
01:20:07 sacrifice and that how Lehi was out
01:20:10 three days to make sacrifice because in
01:20:13 Torah you have to be three days out of
01:20:16 the city to um or a city or another
01:20:22 authorized place to to do offerings to
01:20:25 do an offering. Well, and it’s that’s
01:20:28 going to get into that a little bit
01:20:30 later in the chapter, but yes. Okay.
01:20:33 Yeah. So, um so verse three, I’ll read
01:20:38 that. Thou shalt eat no leavened bread
01:20:42 with it. He’s talking about the
01:20:44 sacrificial lamb or goat or whatever uh
01:20:48 for Passover. Thou shalt eat no leaven
01:20:50 bread with it. Seven days shalt thou eat
01:20:53 unleaven bread
01:20:55 therewith, even uh the bread of
01:20:59 affliction. For thou camest forth out of
01:21:02 the land of Egypt in haste.
01:21:04 Oh, there’s that fast again. Not lazy.
01:21:07 Yes. Yeah. Not reclined, not taking a
01:21:10 little snoozearoo or whatever while
01:21:13 you’re eating. Almost falling over.
01:21:15 Yeah. Yeah. Don’t do that. uh that that
01:21:18 thou mayest remember the day when thou
01:21:21 camest forth out of the land of Egypt
01:21:23 all the days of thy life.
01:21:28 Wait, wait a minute. For how long? As
01:21:32 long as you shall live. Oh, okay. All
01:21:35 right. Yeah. Yeah. No, not until Not
01:21:39 just until it’s not convenient anymore.
01:21:41 No, for your entire life.
01:21:43 Is that kind of like
01:21:46 endure to the end? Maybe. Yes.
01:21:50 Yes. So that maybe that’s not a new
01:21:52 idea. Maybe. Huh? No. Well, no, it’s not
01:21:57 a new idea. You mean Yeshua just taught
01:22:00 what was in the Old Testament?
01:22:02 I’ve heard that. Yeah. Guess what? He
01:22:05 doesn’t change. Oh, you mean turn to the
01:22:08 left and the right? No, I’ve heard that.
01:22:13 He’s about the straightest shooter
01:22:15 you’ll ever meet.
01:22:17 Like his path is straight and narrow.
01:22:20 Yes.
01:22:22 Yes. Sorry. I’m back. Zack, you want to
01:22:26 read four?
01:22:30 And there shall be no leavened bread
01:22:32 seen with thee, nor thy coast seven
01:22:36 days. Neither shall there anything of
01:22:39 the
01:22:41 flesh which thou sacrifices the first
01:22:45 first day that even remain all night
01:22:48 until morning. Right. That’s just
01:22:50 clarifying there that hey, you know, you
01:22:53 got to eat the whole thing. Yeah. Also
01:22:56 clarifying that you cannot leave your
01:22:58 house,
01:23:00 right? Yeah, leave your house and you
01:23:02 have to the end of the day the in in
01:23:06 Greek terms the 24 hours to cons to
01:23:09 fully consume the lamb just as we have
01:23:12 this life to fully consume Yeshua as as
01:23:17 the Bible and Book of Mormon teaches you
01:23:20 cannot repent after you die. Right.
01:23:23 Which is why I always say where there’s
01:23:27 life there is hope. Yeah.
01:23:31 for some maybe less. But but still life
01:23:35 there’s hope.
01:23:38 It’s uh that’s why you that’s why the
01:23:40 book’s never really written on any one
01:23:42 of us until the last breath is drawn.
01:23:46 Correct. Yeah.
01:23:48 And then hopefully you’re in the right
01:23:50 book. Um
01:23:54 Oh, you’ll know if you’re in the right
01:23:56 book. Oh, you will. Yes, you will.
01:23:59 There’s some interesting stories about
01:24:01 those who are on the wrong side their
01:24:03 last words. But anyways, yes.
01:24:08 Um that here we go. Verse five. Thou
01:24:10 mayest not sacrifice a Passover within
01:24:13 within any of thy gates which the Lord
01:24:16 thy God giveth thee. Now I I do bring
01:24:20 some symbolism out of that if that’s
01:24:21 okay, Josh. Sure. Yeah. Yeshua
01:24:25 uh was offered outside the gates. He was
01:24:30 he was I that’s what I was going to say
01:24:32 if you didn’t get to it.
01:24:35 I I I could see that. But that also but
01:24:38 that also lends credence to what we were
01:24:41 talking about earlier where you know hey
01:24:44 not in the gates of the city this has to
01:24:47 be done outside of the city right and so
01:24:50 where they say that uh so here it goes
01:24:53 against another false
01:24:55 tradition that the Passover lamb had to
01:24:58 be done inside the temple. Wait a
01:25:00 minute. The temple was uh remind me Oh
01:25:03 yeah it was inside the gates. up.
01:25:07 Yeah. And the thing is is that these
01:25:10 false traditions, they get set up for
01:25:14 they get set up for various reasons.
01:25:16 Sometimes it’s for convenience,
01:25:18 sometimes it’s for and then people just
01:25:21 get into them and and nobody questions,
01:25:24 right? and and then and then they read
01:25:26 the these verses and they don’t
01:25:29 understand it’s going against their
01:25:30 traditions because they just read them
01:25:33 quickly and not thinking this is where
01:25:36 this um if you’re passively reading your
01:25:39 scriptures. You’re going to miss it.
01:25:41 You’re going to miss a lot. You need to
01:25:43 be um searching searching and
01:25:49 actively trying to do this. I I’ll I’ll
01:25:52 tell you it takes me forever to I I
01:25:54 don’t know how long it’s been since I’ve
01:25:56 been able to sit down and just read a
01:25:57 chapter. I
01:26:00 Well, because you because you search and
01:26:03 then Oh,
01:26:05 anything over here. Let me go and check
01:26:07 that out. Yeah. Yeah. That’s exactly
01:26:10 what I do. I currently have a blog that
01:26:13 is currently running at probably I think
01:26:16 about 35 pages off of one verse. But
01:26:20 that that’s a lot of searching. And that
01:26:23 is what you’re supposed to be doing.
01:26:26 Yes. Wow. Because of the way that Paul
01:26:30 introduces himself
01:26:32 as an apostle. An apostle. As an
01:26:35 apostle. Yes. What does that mean? That
01:26:38 being long. I can see that one being
01:26:39 long. Yes. Okay. Now, for the rest of
01:26:43 his epistles, I’ll never have to cover
01:26:45 that again. But Well, yeah, you do. But
01:26:48 you add a link. That’s how you go.
01:26:52 Yes. Anyways, so um Yes. So, thou mayest
01:26:59 not sacrifice Passover within any of thy
01:27:02 gates. So, you can’t do it in the city.
01:27:04 You can’t.
01:27:05 Yeah. I I mean, it’s right there, black
01:27:07 and white, right?
01:27:10 So he goes on to say, “But at the place
01:27:12 which the Lord thy God shall choose to
01:27:14 place his name in, wherever that is.” It
01:27:16 doesn’t specify
01:27:18 um there thou shalt sacrifice Passover
01:27:21 at even or in the evening at the going
01:27:25 down of the sun.
01:27:27 This is the
01:27:30 right between the evenings. That’s not
01:27:33 going down of the sun as the sun starts
01:27:35 going down. Well, it is and it isn’t.
01:27:38 Let me just clarify. It’s between the
01:27:39 evenings because as soon the the
01:27:42 millisecond after high noon the sun is
01:27:46 going down. Correct. That’s what I’m
01:27:48 That’s what I’m saying. As the sun
01:27:50 starts to go down. Yeah. At the season
01:27:54 that thou camest forth out of Egypt. So
01:27:57 he’s just saying don’t forget when this
01:28:00 happens, right? We are to remember that
01:28:04 uh Exodus with Moses when the people
01:28:07 were saved. Wait, may maybe maybe just
01:28:10 like with his name, we’re supposed to
01:28:13 this
01:28:15 just
01:28:17 maybe May. Yeah. Yeah.
01:28:21 Chance.
01:28:23 Um All right. Uh scroll uh down a little
01:28:27 bit.
01:28:29 That good? Yep. That’s
01:28:33 perfect. Um, and uh, Ben, you want to
01:28:36 read verse uh, seven?
01:28:40 Sure. Thou shalt roast and eat it in the
01:28:44 place
01:28:46 which shalt choose, and thou shalt turn
01:28:50 in and thou shalt turn in the morning
01:28:53 and go unto thy tents.
01:28:56 So the place Oh, go ahead, Ben. Sorry.
01:28:59 Six days thou shalt eat. I’m wait. Okay,
01:29:02 you’re going to the next verse. So the
01:29:03 place that he chose that you are to
01:29:05 roast it is not one
01:29:08 place. It’s each individual household.
01:29:12 Household. Yes. And that that’s not one
01:29:15 place. That’s each individual household.
01:29:19 Yes. Just like it was just like it was
01:29:22 in Egypt.
01:29:24 Once again go once again going against
01:29:27 this idea that there’s just one place
01:29:29 that all this can happen. Yeah. Because
01:29:30 uh each individual household there’s a
01:29:33 that’s a lot of places. And the other
01:29:36 thing the other thing that I would say
01:29:38 about that is once again it’s not
01:29:42 supposed to be it’s once again apply the
01:29:46 brush. It’s not hidden from you. It’s
01:29:51 not too hard for you to keep. Oh yeah,
01:29:53 it’s the false traditions that make it
01:29:55 hard. They’re they’re adding to Torah
01:29:58 and removing and that’s what makes it
01:30:01 difficult. But I I do want to say one
01:30:02 thing about where he places his name.
01:30:06 Name even in the 1828 dictionary, one of
01:30:09 the definitions of name is
01:30:11 character. Hebrew idiom for name is
01:30:14 character. So where there are believers
01:30:18 who are striving to be like him which
01:30:22 goes along with that is where he is that
01:30:24 is where he’s placed his name. Correct.
01:30:27 Which goes along with uh the
01:30:29 circumcision of your heart right
01:30:33 as in you’re trying like him. That’s
01:30:36 where he’s placed his name.
01:30:40 Yes.
01:30:41 Yep. So I could say more but that’s
01:30:44 probably good.
01:30:45 that I think that I think that is
01:30:47 perfect. I I think that is great. I will
01:30:51 simply add this. There’s no there’s no
01:30:54 specific piece of architecture that
01:30:56 suddenly becomes holy just because you
01:30:58 put a few words on it such as holiness
01:31:01 to the Lord. Okay.
01:31:04 I can think of lots of places that have
01:31:06 that are unholy. Roughly 150. But
01:31:09 anyways, um 14 more announced today.
01:31:14 Yay. All right, moving on. One one was
01:31:15 announced in Norfol, one was announced
01:31:17 in Greenville, South Carolina.
01:31:21 Anyways, moving on. Yeah. Uh anyway, um
01:31:25 let’s see, where were we? Oh,
01:31:28 uh verse
01:31:32 uh Yeah, we’re at verse eight. Yes. Yes.
01:31:34 Okay, we’re at verse eight. Okay, go
01:31:36 ahead, man.
01:31:38 Okay. Sixth day shalt thou eat unleven
01:31:40 bread and on the seventh day shall be a
01:31:43 holy convocation uh solemn assembly.
01:31:46 Yeah. Assembly
01:31:49 to thou shalt do no work therein because
01:31:53 it is a Sabbath a lunar they say no work
01:31:56 they mean no survi work. Yes. no
01:31:59 survival work because earlier uh Exodus
01:32:02 12 if I remember correct it actually to
01:32:05 cook your food which goes against
01:32:09 another false tradition. Now also that
01:32:10 was that was Leviticus but yes we’re all
01:32:13 about we’re all about flouting false
01:32:15 traditions here. Uh yeah sorry I forget
01:32:18 which chapter. Anyways, it was it was
01:32:20 Leviticus. But yes, um but I will also
01:32:23 say uh guess what? Uh in mortality there
01:32:28 will be a big assembly. The eighth day
01:32:32 of unleaven bread, I know most people
01:32:34 don’t say this, but even more
01:32:37 specifically, the eighth day of
01:32:39 tabernacles is about our immortal life.
01:32:43 Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. And there’s going to
01:32:46 be a big assembly. I mean, we’re all
01:32:49 going to be together there. Yes. And
01:32:52 that’s going to be like the most
01:32:54 exciting thing ever. Yeah. That’s the
01:32:56 biggest assembly of people I think that
01:32:58 is possible. And it’s going to be so
01:33:01 exciting. It’s going to be awesome. It’s
01:33:03 going to be great. Um, Adam.
01:33:07 Yes. So, and that’s basically where
01:33:10 we’re going to where we’re going to
01:33:12 leave off there because now we’re
01:33:13 getting into the feast of weeks and
01:33:14 we’re getting into tabernacles and we’re
01:33:16 getting into other stuff. we’re not
01:33:18 really focusing on right now.
01:33:22 Um, I just want to I want to close this
01:33:27 by stating
01:33:29 that I always took for granted or didn’t
01:33:34 even really take
01:33:35 seriously uh the significance of
01:33:38 Passover.
01:33:39 And thank you, Stephen, for giving
01:33:42 me the opportunity to study and to learn
01:33:48 the
01:33:49 significance of Passover, what it
01:33:52 signifies, what it symbolizes,
01:33:56 and the fact that it is
01:33:59 an ordinance celebrate the death,
01:34:02 burial, and resurrection of our Lord and
01:34:06 Savior Yeshua Hamashiach.
01:34:08 Yes. celebrate the spring
01:34:12 feasts. Don’t celebrate
01:34:17 Easter because that’s not that was never
01:34:22 intended
01:34:24 originally as a celebration of Yeshua.
01:34:28 No. Yes. It was It was not It never was.
01:34:31 It was It was um intended as
01:34:35 a clever cover up.
01:34:39 uh as further worship of false
01:34:43 traditions actually the worship of
01:34:46 Esther
01:34:49 which were thought to do. Um and I I
01:34:53 won’t get into details but when you
01:34:54 learn the details of everything that’s
01:34:56 going on there, it’s horrifying.
01:34:59 Oh, it is. I’ll leave it at that. It is.
01:35:02 And it’s and it’s bloody and it’s cruel
01:35:05 and it’s it’s it’s horrific.
01:35:08 You want to talk about darkness?
01:35:12 Anyways, but I do want to close. I do
01:35:15 want to close on this note. Observe
01:35:19 Passover. Get into the law. Get into
01:35:24 Exodus. Get into Leviticus and Numbers
01:35:28 and Deuteronomy. They they all they all
01:35:32 four of those
01:35:33 books talk about the feast days. the set
01:35:37 aart
01:35:39 times that we have been
01:35:44 commanded to celebrate and to
01:35:48 remember certain things. With the
01:35:51 Passover, we are to remember the
01:35:54 atonement of Jesus Christ, Yeshua
01:35:57 Hamashiach.
01:36:00 Okay, that is the significance of
01:36:02 Passover to keep in remembrance always
01:36:05 throughout our
01:36:07 lives the atonement and because only by
01:36:10 the blood of him can we be saved.
01:36:15 Amen. Only through his blood. Amen.
01:36:20 I I’ll just wait one thing real
01:36:22 quick the details.
01:36:25 The high
01:36:26 holidays
01:36:28 teach the gospel, the good news. They’re
01:36:32 also very prophetic.
01:36:34 Yes. Yes, they are.
01:36:37 All I want to say is I just want to
01:36:40 say come under the blood of the
01:36:43 lamb. Accept his
01:36:46 authority. Walk in his
01:36:50 ways. Live after the manner of holiness.
01:36:53 you will not find yourself disappointed
01:36:56 at the end.
01:36:58 Amen. I I hope when
01:37:02 you start putting into practice, so um
01:37:06 in the New Testament, Yeshua states, if
01:37:09 you want to know if what I say is from
01:37:12 me as in a man or from the father
01:37:17 Elohim, do it and find out. Right? You
01:37:21 as you keep Passover specifically and
01:37:24 the one that we’re talking about
01:37:26 today and others, you will start to get
01:37:30 insights. The depth in these things are
01:37:34 deep. And I hopefully some of the things
01:37:36 that we’ve said here tonight will awaken
01:37:40 you to what is there, but maybe was not
01:37:43 so obvious before. There’s more. The
01:37:47 first time that there’s so much more.
01:37:50 The first time that I observed the
01:37:53 Passover, I
01:37:55 remember just feeling this
01:38:01 immense
01:38:03 knowledge of
01:38:13 belonging. The guy was his
01:38:17 that I was under his
01:38:20 cover, that he and that he that I that
01:38:25 he knew me and that I was coming to know
01:38:28 him.
01:38:33 Test test
01:38:36 test the Sabbaths
01:38:40 and see if you are not and see if you do
01:38:43 not also receive this sense of belonging
01:38:48 in Yahweh.
01:38:54 Amen. Amen.
01:38:57 Amen.
