Summary:

The feast of Tabernacles is not in the first month, it is in the seventh month, talking about the false belief that trumpets is called Rosh Hashanah, or the new year, or first month. Feast of Tabernacles is in the seventh month. During the feast of Tabernacles, we are to live in booths for seven days. The first day of Tabernacles is to be a Holy convocation or Sabbath. This is a weekly sabbath and a yearly sabbath. There are also moonly sabbaths. During the time of Tabernacles, we are to make sure to judge justly, or according to Torah. During the feast of Tabernacles, The Levites, or the church is to offer an offering made of a sweet savor, or that which is pleasing, unto YHWH for each day of the feast of tabernacles. There is important symbolism to each animal sacrifice. The first listed sacrifice is that of 13 Bullocks and goes down by one each day after until on the seventh day there are Bullocks sacrificed. It is important to note that the number 13 symbolically represents restoration, renewal, made new. And the number 7 symbolically represents completeness and perfection. The sum of all Bullocks sacrificed comes out to 70 and 70 is a symbolic representation of Yeshua. The 2 rams represent the two sufferings that Yeshua performed, the first in the garden and the second on the cross. The eighth day ram is to point us to Yeshua to show us that He is the ram that is sufficient for us. The lambs represent Yeshua period and the number 14 is a messianic number representing the Messiah. The goat represents Yeshua taking upon him our sins. Just like the scapegoat offering was to represent the taking away of sins. Yeshua is the both goats in the day of atonement offering. The feast of tabernacles is for the stranger, which is symbolism for the non-believer. Baptism represents the gateway to Heaven or eternal life just like the river Jordan was the gateway to the promised land. And the feast of Tabernacles is to be a perpetual occurrence, or it is to be a statute forever, through the millennium and all eternity. Yeshua also celebrated the feast of Tabernacles in John 7:2-10. The address of King Benjamin in the Book of Mormon happened during the time of Tabernacles and in it he describes Yeshua coming down to tabernacle in a body.

00:00:02 Hello brothers and sisters. Welcome to
00:00:05 another Sabbath presentation. Today we
00:00:09 will be talking about the feast of
00:00:10 tabernacles because lo and behold, it
00:00:13 has started. Today is the first day of
00:00:17 the feast of tabernacles. So, we’re
00:00:18 excited to talk to you about uh certain
00:00:22 things that happen or that have happened
00:00:25 and that will happen uh and that can
00:00:29 happen during this time even in our
00:00:32 current time and place
00:00:33 and tabernacling.
00:00:35 Yes.
00:00:37 Uh so sit back, enjoy. Let us dive into
00:00:43 what it means to properly celebrate the
00:00:47 feast of tabernacles.
00:00:50 Um, so and just remember that there is a
00:00:53 tradition around tabernacles that’s
00:00:56 associated with getting drunk.
00:00:58 Absolutely.
00:00:59 So that could you could very well be
00:01:01 absolutely diving in to your tabernacle.
00:01:04 Absolutely.
00:01:08 or or or or uh diving or or falling into
00:01:12 your tabernacle as the case it may be.
00:01:18 I didn’t lift my feet high enough.
00:01:20 Well, uh yesterday was a wine bber. I
00:01:24 still haven’t been told what the conf
00:01:26 controversy would be if it was uh grape
00:01:30 juice bibbing. So,
00:01:31 me neither. I
00:01:33 I I haven’t been told. I I haven’t. Is
00:01:35 that is that kind of like along the same
00:01:37 lines as a tea bber?
00:01:39 Uh yes, I do like my tea too. Oh yeah.
00:01:43 Oh yeah.
00:01:45 Scandalous that tea.
00:01:46 Absolutely.
00:01:48 Still bibbing around here. So
00:01:49 yeah,
00:01:50 we are we are just we are professional
00:01:53 bibers.
00:01:56 You’re getting paid for it.
00:01:57 Oh wow.
00:01:59 Okay.
00:02:01 The secret the secret is out.
00:02:06 I’m very good.
00:02:07 So, we’re going to start off in
00:02:09 Leviticus
00:02:10 chapter 23. Josh, do you want to start
00:02:12 us off on this slide starting with verse
00:02:15 33?
00:02:16 Sure.
00:02:18 And the Lord and Yahweh spake unto
00:02:20 Moshe, saying, “Speak unto the children
00:02:23 of Israel, saying, The 15th day of this
00:02:28 seventh month
00:02:30 shall be the feast.”
00:02:32 Okay,
00:02:33 sorry. So, we’re in the seventh month
00:02:38 or moon. We’re in the moon.
00:02:40 10th moon. I I know it says month, but
00:02:44 if you go look at the word behind it,
00:02:46 moon.
00:02:46 We’re in the seventh moon.
00:02:48 We’re in the seventh moon. We’re only 14
00:02:51 days
00:02:53 after the day of atonement, which is not
00:02:56 the new year, not the five days. We’re 5
00:02:59 days after the day of atonement.
00:03:02 Oh, sorry.
00:03:03 I think we go back to It’s Trumpets. I
00:03:05 was I was trumpets. It’s trumpets.
00:03:09 Fine. You’re fine. You’re fine.
00:03:10 Okay. I said the wrong holiday. My
00:03:12 apologies. It’s trumpets. 14 days after
00:03:16 trumpets,
00:03:17 which is the same moon
00:03:22 as tabernacles, which is the seventh
00:03:25 moon. It is not the first moon. So you
00:03:27 mean 15 days after the feast of
00:03:29 trumpets?
00:03:30 No, we’re not terrible.
00:03:34 Really?
00:03:36 Trumpets.
00:03:37 Anyway, I Ben’s a little buzzed.
00:03:39 He is a little buzzed. So, uh, so the so
00:03:43 it’s the 15th day of the seventh month.
00:03:45 Go ahead, Josh.
00:03:47 Um, the 15th day of the seventh month
00:03:50 shall be the feast of tabernacles
00:03:53 for seven days unto Ya.
00:03:57 Wait, is it is it just one one or three
00:04:00 days?
00:04:00 No, it’s seven days.
00:04:02 Okay. Seven days. And And what kind of
00:04:04 symbology goes with seven?
00:04:06 Perfection and complet
00:04:09 and completeness. Yeah.
00:04:11 Perfection and completeness. Correct.
00:04:15 Wow. On the first day,
00:04:18 yes,
00:04:20 shall be a holy convocation.
00:04:23 Wait, so today was a Sabbath, it is a
00:04:26 holy convocation. What shall we do,
00:04:29 John?
00:04:29 Wait a minute. Can I interject just a
00:04:31 little bit?
00:04:31 Please do. So if the 15th of the seventh
00:04:35 moon is a Sabbath and the 15th of the
00:04:39 first moon is a Sabbath.
00:04:44 Does that mean lunar Sabbaths are true?
00:04:47 Absolutely.
00:04:48 Oh my gosh. You have a point, my guy.
00:04:51 Just maybe just one.
00:04:55 There’s a really good chance.
00:04:56 Inconclusive.
00:04:59 I
00:05:01 Oh gosh.
00:05:02 I want to bring out your tabernacles.
00:05:05 Okay.
00:05:05 Yes.
00:05:06 Tabernacles.
00:05:08 What does What is What was the
00:05:10 tabernacle?
00:05:12 It was their um
00:05:15 It was the place in the congregation of
00:05:17 Israel where God where Y where Ya dwelt.
00:05:24 Yes. That’s the tabernacle.
00:05:27 Right.
00:05:28 So now these fe the feast of
00:05:31 tabernacles, it’s called the feast of
00:05:32 tabernacles because it’s everybody’s
00:05:35 supposed to make a booth
00:05:37 and you’re supposed to stay in that
00:05:39 booth for seven days if you’re keeping
00:05:40 the feast of tabernacles.
00:05:43 So now the main thing you may notice
00:05:46 that we are in a permanent structure
00:05:50 here. Mhm.
00:05:52 The
00:05:54 there is um
00:05:59 there is a tradition surrounding the
00:06:02 feast of tabernacles that it’s um meant
00:06:05 to be kept at Jerusalem.
00:06:09 Um and so that’s that’s just an
00:06:12 interesting little thing related uh with
00:06:15 all of these holidays in the seventh
00:06:18 moon related to the temple. Um a lot of
00:06:21 people believe that that temple is in
00:06:23 Jerusalem.
00:06:25 That temple, that tabernacle,
00:06:27 that place where Yah has put his name is
00:06:30 in Jerusalem. We will find what you will
00:06:33 find is that that place
00:06:37 in modern revelation
00:06:40 is Zion.
00:06:42 Uh yes. Um, but in addition, even in the
00:06:46 Old Testament, you’ll find out they kept
00:06:47 the high holidays, the place where his
00:06:49 name was kept, and it was not always
00:06:51 only Jerusalem,
00:06:53 right?
00:06:53 Uh, and they’ve had temples in multiple
00:06:56 places. In fact, in the New Testament,
00:06:58 Yeshua brings out how the Jews destroyed
00:07:01 the Samaritans temple. He didn’t say it
00:07:03 was the temple was wrong. It’s just that
00:07:06 they were uh fighting with each other
00:07:08 where it should be. Okay. There. And in
00:07:12 addition there throughout the Old
00:07:14 Testament, there’s been more than just
00:07:16 the temple at Jerusalem. And it doesn’t
00:07:19 say that there’s only one place that is
00:07:21 a false tradition. It says to where he
00:07:23 placed his character. Oh, I mean name.
00:07:26 And I will and I will
00:07:29 and the and so the original tabernacle
00:07:33 was mobile. Correct.
00:07:36 Absolutely. It was a tempor
00:07:38 basically temporary
00:07:41 temporary dwelling. Yes,
00:07:42 it was a temporary shelter and it was
00:07:46 you could break it down and you could
00:07:48 move with it wherever you were going and
00:07:50 then erect it again once you got to
00:07:52 wherever it was you were going.
00:07:54 Yes. Yeah. Now that place I love that
00:07:58 Stephen brought out that idea of the
00:08:00 place where Yo has put his name. Now,
00:08:04 how what is what do when we talk about
00:08:08 the name of Yah,
00:08:10 are we talking about a name that you can
00:08:13 just spout out like a magical talisman
00:08:16 or are we talking about something that’s
00:08:18 far deeper that’s far more effective?
00:08:21 Well, definitely far more effective.
00:08:23 Far more affecting and I would say far
00:08:24 more sacred.
00:08:26 Yes.
00:08:27 Is character. how you should behave, how
00:08:30 you should carry yourself.
00:08:31 Is is your home
00:08:35 in his character?
00:08:38 Are you keeping his Torah? Are you
00:08:41 walking in his footsteps or at least
00:08:43 doing your best to do so?
00:08:46 Um because most of us don’t know, most
00:08:49 people do not know fully um
00:08:53 do not know fully the ins and outs of
00:08:56 Torah. Yeah.
00:08:58 Uh and and that’s fine uh because I
00:09:01 think a lot of people get a little
00:09:02 overwhelmed.
00:09:03 Yes.
00:09:04 But as an Acts 15 brings out, you keep
00:09:07 learning. Okay. It’s not something
00:09:09 you’re going to get all at once. But um
00:09:12 if you’re not striving to meet with a
00:09:17 Torah focused group on the Sabbath and
00:09:20 learning more, you’re breaking uh which
00:09:23 brought in Acts 15, which is not the
00:09:26 first time it’s brought out. Um it it’s
00:09:30 in the first five books of Moses. Uh
00:09:32 what was going on in Acts 15 in those
00:09:35 requirements. I would just have to look
00:09:36 at my notes to remember where cuz it’s
00:09:39 hard to remember everything. Um, right.
00:09:42 But, uh, it’s from the they’re
00:09:45 reiterating what’s in the five books of
00:09:47 Moses. So,
00:09:48 right.
00:09:49 Right.
00:09:50 So, and and then to go on to the next
00:09:52 verse.
00:09:53 Well, I’m sorry.
00:09:56 So, um, can I interject something about
00:09:58 tabernacles?
00:09:59 Yes.
00:10:00 Yes.
00:10:00 So, in the New Testament, it does bring
00:10:03 out how Yeshua was tabernacled.
00:10:08 Yes. Uh we will get to that verse of
00:10:11 scripture later on.
00:10:12 Oh okay then I won’t go too much.
00:10:14 So let me so so I I let me just go back
00:10:17 to that whole thing of the first day
00:10:20 shall be in holy convocation and the
00:10:22 first day is the 15th day of the moon.
00:10:29 Yes the moon I I did say that on
00:10:32 purpose.
00:10:33 Yes I I know.
00:10:35 And uh so then shall be a holy
00:10:38 convocation. The only way that the 15th
00:10:41 day of the seventh moon is always a is
00:10:45 always on a Sabbath is through the lunar
00:10:47 Sabbath.
00:10:48 Right?
00:10:49 It shows that Yos that Yos calendar is
00:10:53 as it was in the creation determined by
00:10:56 the sun and the moon
00:10:59 as in ref referencing Genesis 1:14 and
00:11:03 16. And if your Sabbath
00:11:06 if the Sabbath you are keeping is not
00:11:08 based on the cycles of the sun and the
00:11:09 moon
00:11:11 and you’re not on the cycles mostly on
00:11:14 the cycle of the moon.
00:11:15 You are not on Yokopa’s calendar and you
00:11:18 are not keeping the Sabbath.
00:11:20 Um
00:11:20 correct.
00:11:22 This is just a simple fact.
00:11:23 Not always you’re Yes. You’re you’re
00:11:25 this is for the bulk of the time you’re
00:11:27 not keeping the Sabbath. Correct. Right.
00:11:30 This is the and as I was saying, this is
00:11:32 just a simple fact. I’m not saying that
00:11:34 to sentence anybody to hell. I’m just
00:11:38 stating a simple fact that if you are
00:11:40 not keeping the Sabbath according to the
00:11:44 calendar, which is set by the sun on the
00:11:46 moon,
00:11:48 you are not keeping Sabbath.
00:11:52 But his Sabbath. You might be keeping
00:11:54 your own Sabbath.
00:11:55 Yeah. But
00:11:56 you’re not keeping you’re not keeping
00:11:57 his Sabbath.
00:11:59 You’re not honoring his Sabbath.
00:12:01 And therefore, you are breaking one of
00:12:04 the 10 divisions of Torah.
00:12:06 Yes, indeed. And to be specific, the
00:12:08 fourth. The fourth. Yes.
00:12:10 So, Josh, finish 35 for us, will you?
00:12:13 Right. So, I’m just going to start from
00:12:15 the beginning because we kind of got
00:12:17 didn’t even make it the whole way
00:12:18 through a oneline verse. So, here we go.
00:12:21 Um uh on the first day shall be an holy
00:12:25 convocation.
00:12:27 Ye shall do no
00:12:31 survile work therein.
00:12:33 So what is the what is survile? Is that
00:12:37 what is survile?
00:12:40 So I I actually I don’t know the
00:12:41 dictionary definition but uh it’s what
00:12:44 your work that you’re paid to do.
00:12:46 Yeah.
00:12:47 Yes,
00:12:48 that is correct.
00:12:50 Um, so continue Josh in verse 36.
00:12:55 Seven days he shall offer an offering
00:12:58 made by fire unto Yahweh.
00:13:01 And the eighth day shall be an holy
00:13:04 convocation unto you, another Sabbath.
00:13:08 Yes.
00:13:09 And ye shall offer an offering made by
00:13:11 fire unto Yahweh.
00:13:14 It is a solemn assembly.
00:13:17 and ye shall do no survile work therein.
00:13:19 So the first day you shall do no survile
00:13:22 work. On the eighth day you shall do no
00:13:24 survile work. They are both Sabbaths.
00:13:27 Okay. So here’s an interesting thing.
00:13:29 And so on the 15th day of the seventh
00:13:31 month shall be the feast of tabernac
00:13:33 going back to verse 34. 15th day of the
00:13:35 seventh month shall be the feast of
00:13:36 tabernacles for seven days unto y. So is
00:13:39 the eighth day a part of the feast of
00:13:42 tabernacles or is it its own thing?
00:13:44 It’s its own thing. It’s its own thing.
00:13:46 I was going to say it seems to be its
00:13:48 own thing just the way that it’s written
00:13:50 in the verse.
00:13:52 A lot of people like to call it the
00:13:54 eighth day.
00:13:55 Yes. So,
00:13:56 and we’ll go into differences and
00:13:59 offerings and everything.
00:14:01 We’ve seen some Hebrew roots teachers
00:14:03 who actually teach of it as another holy
00:14:06 as another holy day uh separate from
00:14:10 feast of tabernacles.
00:14:11 Yeah. Yeah. I I I would consider it
00:14:14 different. Um, and I will also say it’s
00:14:17 symbolic of uh life after mortality. So,
00:14:22 eternity.
00:14:23 Okay.
00:14:24 Interesting.
00:14:26 Because it’s like, well, you’re here.
00:14:29 You might as well kind of stay. You
00:14:31 don’t have to. But the question is, do
00:14:33 you want to be with Yahweh for eternity
00:14:35 or not? I I know. I want I don’t know
00:14:39 about other people, but I
00:14:40 That is the ultimate question.
00:14:42 Ultimately, that is the ultimate
00:14:44 question. Where do you want to be?
00:14:47 Yeah.
00:14:47 And the the question and the the other
00:14:50 thing is is that eighth day is a
00:14:52 Sabbath. So
00:14:53 it is
00:14:54 traveling. So so um traveling is um
00:15:01 rather limited
00:15:02 on that day.
00:15:03 Yeah. So let’s get
00:15:04 if you are keeping the Sabbath.
00:15:06 Yeah. So let’s get into some little
00:15:07 technicalities here. It’s if you’re
00:15:10 carrying a burden. So, if you’re
00:15:12 carrying stuff to go back home on that
00:15:15 day, um
00:15:17 that would qualify.
00:15:18 That would qualify because uh if you’re
00:15:21 carrying stuff to go back home, that’s
00:15:23 carrying a burden. If you’re just
00:15:24 walking around,
00:15:26 um despite what the Pharisees might tell
00:15:29 you, there is not a number of steps on
00:15:32 the Sabbath you may or may not take. The
00:15:34 issue is burdens.
00:15:36 Yeah. Well, what if your car is carrying
00:15:38 the burden?
00:15:39 Huh? I think you’re looking for
00:15:41 loophole.
00:15:43 The other question is how big are you?
00:15:44 He’s getting he’s getting pheriseic on
00:15:46 us.
00:15:48 But yes, um the English point is
00:15:51 interesting how if the eighth of the
00:15:54 Sabbath
00:15:55 uh this is an inclusive count. So 15 + 8
00:16:00 22. This also goes along how the 15th
00:16:03 and the 22nd are always of the moon are
00:16:06 always Sabbaths.
00:16:07 Yes. which which completely makes sense.
00:16:11 Yeah. Well, mathematically that makes
00:16:13 sense. Yeah.
00:16:15 Yes.
00:16:15 Yeah. And according to the cycle of the
00:16:17 moon, it makes sense.
00:16:19 Well, yes.
00:16:21 Right. Okay. Moving on.
00:16:23 Yes.
00:16:24 Verse 37. Here we go.
00:16:26 These are the feasts of Yahwa,
00:16:29 which ye shall proclaim to be holy
00:16:32 convocations.
00:16:33 To offer an offering made by fire unto
00:16:35 Yahwa,
00:16:37 a burnt offering, that’s one, a meat
00:16:40 offering
00:16:41 or bread
00:16:42 or bread, a sacrifice,
00:16:47 and drink offerings,
00:16:50 everything
00:16:52 upon his day.
00:16:54 So I I do want to bring out for uh
00:16:57 preferably this burnt offering would be
00:17:00 done with wood which represents uh
00:17:04 trees. Tree wood comes from trees the
00:17:06 last time I checked. Um generally
00:17:09 and trees represent people. And so this
00:17:13 is bringing out how we need to
00:17:14 continually work on purifying ourselves
00:17:17 because fire is judgment. And that’s not
00:17:20 necessarily a bad thing, but it u goes
00:17:23 along with correcting yourself. If you
00:17:26 don’t are able to judge what’s right and
00:17:29 wrong, you won’t be able to know how to
00:17:32 correct yourself. But the the burnt
00:17:34 offering has to do with um purifying.
00:17:38 Okay. So, right, um it would be best
00:17:41 used
00:17:41 going through the refiner’s fire
00:17:43 kind of.
00:17:44 Yes, that is a good uh very good
00:17:47 illusion there. Yeah.
00:17:48 Um but I I would say a candle is uh at
00:17:53 minimum. Okay. Right.
00:17:55 Right. And that’s now is that every day
00:17:58 that these offerings have to be made?
00:18:01 Yeah. The scriptures said it was every
00:18:03 day.
00:18:03 It’s every day.
00:18:04 The burnt offering the if you’re talking
00:18:08 about the burnt offering of wood,
00:18:09 it is a continuous
00:18:11 be perpetual.
00:18:12 It’s a continuous offering made fire.
00:18:14 That’s not
00:18:16 ever.
00:18:17 So, ever
00:18:18 the the the perpetual um burnt offering
00:18:22 is done by the church. Um not something
00:18:26 each individual needs to do. Um so, just
00:18:29 so that we know what’s going the
00:18:30 difference between these things,
00:18:32 that’s what I was going that’s what I
00:18:34 was getting at is
00:18:37 is everyone supposed to keep a perpetual
00:18:40 fire burning the entirety of the seven
00:18:43 days? Oh, so let’s keep reading and find
00:18:46 out that. Okay.
00:18:47 Yeah, let’s keep reading.
00:18:48 All right.
00:18:50 So, verse 38. Now, beside the Sabbaths
00:18:53 of Yahweh, and beside your gifts, and
00:18:55 beside all your vows, and beside all
00:18:58 your free will offerings which he give
00:19:00 unto Yahweh.
00:19:03 So, one thing it’s interesting in verse
00:19:04 38, it recalls uh DNC LDS 59 about how
00:19:10 the Sabbath is not the only day you can
00:19:13 do your vows or as in baptisms, renewing
00:19:17 of covenants or making new covenants.
00:19:20 Um, which goes along with the vows
00:19:23 that’s here in in Leviticus 23:33
00:19:27 um through 34
00:19:29 um which is actually on what day? Oh
00:19:32 yeah, the Sabbath.
00:19:34 You can do it any day, but there is a
00:19:36 preference on the Sabbath if practical.
00:19:40 Okay.
00:19:40 So, here’s an interesting thing. That
00:19:43 that verse 38 is actually connected to
00:19:46 verse 37 by the I realize I do realize
00:19:51 that the punctuation was put in later,
00:19:54 but according to the punctuation, it’s
00:19:57 connected to verse 37 by a colon.
00:20:00 indicates that this is a supporting
00:20:02 idea,
00:20:04 right? Yes.
00:20:05 Or it’s subsequent to so it’s like
00:20:08 all of these offerings
00:20:11 are what we’re are what Israel is
00:20:13 supposed to do along with keeping the
00:20:17 Sabbaths,
00:20:19 right?
00:20:20 On purpose because there’s three types
00:20:21 of Sabbaths.
00:20:22 Yes. the Sabbaths of Yaha
00:20:25 and giving their gifts
00:20:27 and their vows and their vows,
00:20:29 free will offerings,
00:20:30 free will offerings,
00:20:31 right?
00:20:32 So, this is all of that all of those
00:20:35 offerings in verse 37 are beside the
00:20:39 basic
00:20:41 every person’s responsibility.
00:20:43 Yes,
00:20:44 they’re beside it.
00:20:47 Yeah, I got it. Yeah.
00:20:50 Which means that they are which means
00:20:52 that they are the offerings that are
00:20:55 beside everyone’s person every person’s
00:20:57 responsibility are not the
00:20:59 responsibility therefore of every
00:21:01 person.
00:21:03 Yeah.
00:21:04 Right.
00:21:06 Continue on Joshua 39.
00:21:09 uh also in the 15th day of the seven
00:21:12 seventh month
00:21:14 when ye have gathered in the fruit of
00:21:16 the land, ye shall keep a feast unto
00:21:19 Yahweh seven days. On the first day
00:21:22 shall be a Sabbath, and on the eighth
00:21:24 day shall be a Sabbath.
00:21:27 And ye shall take you on the first day
00:21:30 the boughels of goodly trees, branches
00:21:33 of palm trees, and the boughels of thick
00:21:35 trees, and willows of the brook. And ye
00:21:38 shall rejoice before
00:21:41 uh Yahweh your Elohim seven days.
00:21:50 Okay. Your God your God is elu.
00:21:53 Okay.
00:21:54 In the Hebrew just it’s
00:21:58 Thank you. Uh appreciate it. Um and ye
00:22:02 shall keep it a feast unto Yahweh seven
00:22:05 days in the year. It shall be a statute
00:22:08 forever in your generations. You shall
00:22:10 celebrate it in the seventh month. Boy,
00:22:13 he keeps he keeps pounding on that
00:22:16 seventh.
00:22:17 But there’s Yeah, there’s something else
00:22:19 in that verse that’s really important
00:22:21 here. It shall be a statue forever.
00:22:26 That means always means like never ends
00:22:29 like
00:22:31 it doesn’t end ever.
00:22:32 Forever means what I want it to mean. Uh
00:22:35 well, you know, there’s
00:22:37 you need to raise your hand before you
00:22:39 speak.
00:22:45 Means
00:22:47 forever means exactly what it means.
00:22:50 Which is what
00:22:51 which is
00:22:55 an exceptionally long period of time.
00:22:57 Well, that’s if you ask the LDS church.
00:23:01 I know
00:23:03 which is really good at twisting the
00:23:06 actual words of scripture
00:23:08 where
00:23:09 well they’re only once just so
00:23:12 forever is not a very long period of
00:23:14 time forever is never ending.
00:23:16 Yeah.
00:23:16 Forever means that time is not marked to
00:23:19 this uh is to this statute.
00:23:22 Right. A and I I
00:23:27 is Zechariah uh 14 brings out how it’s
00:23:31 during the millennium. So,
00:23:33 Yep.
00:23:34 Um if you think you’re supposed to do it
00:23:36 and then takes away and then bring it
00:23:38 back, it sounds like you have Elohim
00:23:40 that can’t make up his mind.
00:23:42 Yes.
00:23:42 Yeah. Or or and also an Elohim that does
00:23:45 not know the definitions of words such
00:23:47 as the forever.
00:23:48 Yeah.
00:23:48 Yes.
00:23:49 Yeah.
00:23:51 Josh, continue on at 42.
00:23:53 This So 42, this is an interesting one.
00:23:56 So I I want to get you guys’ take on
00:23:58 this verse. Ye shall dwell in booths
00:24:01 seven days. That’s not the part I’m
00:24:02 talking about. Um Oh, that’s pretty
00:24:05 obvious.
00:24:07 Ye shall dwell in booths seven days.
00:24:09 That’s pretty obvious. But all that are
00:24:12 Israelites born shall dwell in booths.
00:24:16 Born again.
00:24:17 What’s your take on that? born again.
00:24:20 All that are Israelites born.
00:24:23 Born again, dude.
00:24:24 Born again.
00:24:25 Okay.
00:24:26 Yeah. The facts of the matter are when
00:24:28 you are born again, you are no longer a
00:24:30 gentile.
00:24:31 You are now an Israelite born.
00:24:34 Yeah. Even on the the bloodline,
00:24:38 um
00:24:40 you’re not really Israelite if you’re
00:24:42 not born again. Because Israel means
00:24:44 those who have wrestled with Yahw and
00:24:46 man and overcome and overcome.
00:24:50 But there are there are people out there
00:24:52 who take this literally,
00:24:55 right? There it is. I am being literal.
00:25:00 So
00:25:01 no, but they’re talking about a specific
00:25:04 like
00:25:05 me they’re blood, but they’re forgetting
00:25:08 the definition of Israelites. In
00:25:10 addition, they’re forgetting how um
00:25:14 oh now I think it was
00:25:18 John the Baptist in the New Testament
00:25:20 brought out how those who believe in the
00:25:22 revelations I mean rocks of Yahweh will
00:25:26 become Israelites,
00:25:28 right?
00:25:29 No, I I agree. I’m not I’m not arguing
00:25:31 the point. I’m just saying that that I
00:25:34 wanted you you all to speak on that
00:25:37 briefly because there are a lot of
00:25:38 people out there who
00:25:41 this are there are whole religions that
00:25:46 are set up around bloodlines. Um and one
00:25:50 of the among them among them would be
00:25:54 Hebrew Israelites.
00:25:56 Among them would be the Church of Jesus
00:26:00 Christ of Latter-day Saints.
00:26:03 Um,
00:26:04 and uh there are several others. I can’t
00:26:09 remember all of them right now.
00:26:11 And this is where they don’t even
00:26:12 understand what the word he means, which
00:26:16 means crossed over.
00:26:18 Yeah. Crossed over from the natural man
00:26:21 to the ways of Yahw.
00:26:22 Right. is therefore they have crossed
00:26:25 over from gentile to Israel
00:26:28 born again.
00:26:28 Correct. And they are Israelites born.
00:26:32 Yeah.
00:26:33 Born again.
00:26:34 And and therefore they are Israelites
00:26:36 born.
00:26:37 Yeah. This is the thing. A lot of people
00:26:40 think that born again is just something
00:26:42 that happens when you have an
00:26:43 electrifying experience at church and
00:26:46 you’re not lit. I’m not speaking of
00:26:50 actual physical electrocution, but I’m
00:26:52 saying you had this marvelous experience
00:26:55 at a church while you were worshiping.
00:26:57 Suddenly, you feel like you’re born
00:26:59 again, whatever, but you’re still doing
00:27:01 the same old things. Have you really
00:27:02 been born again?
00:27:04 Yeah, it sounds like you’re an old
00:27:06 you’re an old person with new excuses,
00:27:08 if that’s what’s going on. If you’re
00:27:11 born again, you’re a new person or a new
00:27:13 creature that wants and has the desire
00:27:17 to follow Yahweh’s ways and not someone
00:27:20 that has the desires to make excuses for
00:27:23 your sins.
00:27:24 Correct.
00:27:25 Right.
00:27:26 Right.
00:27:26 And uh Yeah. And you’re also not looking
00:27:30 for ways to abuse grace.
00:27:32 Yes.
00:27:33 Correct.
00:27:35 Yes. or bank.
00:27:36 Well, I just wanted to touch on that
00:27:37 briefly because that was something that
00:27:40 I came across today while I was studying
00:27:43 and and um I was like
00:27:48 a lot of people get this twisted.
00:27:51 Yeah.
00:27:51 Yeah,
00:27:52 for sure.
00:27:53 So, all right. Anyways, moving on. Yes.
00:27:55 Um that that your generations may know
00:27:59 that I made the children of Yeshua to
00:28:02 dwell in boots when I brought them out
00:28:05 of the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh Elohu.
00:28:10 Did I do that right, Ben?
00:28:12 Yes.
00:28:12 Yes.
00:28:13 And so this is this is actually one of
00:28:15 those things. This is why a lot of times
00:28:18 people like to go camping at uh the
00:28:21 Feast of Tabernacles as
00:28:23 we did last year. we did last year. Uh
00:28:25 it was great. It was amazing
00:28:27 because we’re supposed to at this time
00:28:30 remember how Yah caused the children of
00:28:34 Israel to dwell in booths as they came
00:28:37 to the promised land.
00:28:38 Correct.
00:28:39 Now, I I won’t say too much because it
00:28:41 sounds like uh we may talk more about
00:28:43 this later, but there’s the physical
00:28:46 level, that’s the obvious level, and
00:28:48 then there’s a deeper level such as we
00:28:50 were born
00:28:52 into a tabernacle of clay. Okay.
00:28:56 Yes.
00:28:56 Um but I I get from John, we’re going to
00:29:00 talk more about it later.
00:29:01 John chapter 2, which I do have that
00:29:04 slide dedicated. Uh Josh, finish the uh
00:29:06 finish. Got to finish that.
00:29:08 And Mushe declared unto the children of
00:29:11 Yeshel the feasts of Ywa.
00:29:14 There you go.
00:29:15 So wait a minute. Does this mean we
00:29:18 should fast or eat?
00:29:20 Eat.
00:29:21 Feast.
00:29:22 Feast means
00:29:25 with food.
00:29:26 That that E was meant to that E was
00:29:28 meant to have been redacted.
00:29:31 Oops.
00:29:33 Dang it. Uh too late now.
00:29:37 N told us that earlier
00:29:40 I got to read these documents and hit
00:29:43 the next one.
00:29:45 All right. So,
00:29:47 Zach
00:29:49 got a very important one for you. Do you
00:29:51 mind reading chap Deuteronomy chapter 16
00:29:54 13-22, please?
00:29:57 Sure.
00:29:57 And uh mind the interruptions that we’re
00:30:00 uh good at doing.
00:30:01 Oh, it’s going to happen.
00:30:03 Oh, it’s going to happen.
00:30:04 Oh, yeah.
00:30:06 Oh yes.
00:30:07 13. Thou shalt thou shalt observe the
00:30:10 feast of tabernac tabernacles seven
00:30:12 days.
00:30:14 After that thou thou hast gathered in
00:30:17 thy corn and thy wine.
00:30:20 Oh
00:30:21 okay.
00:30:21 So they give us so they give us a rough
00:30:24 time frame
00:30:24 right after harvest.
00:30:27 Yeah. This is right after harvest. The
00:30:29 seventh moon falls during the harvest
00:30:31 season.
00:30:31 Yes it does.
00:30:32 Yeah. So, this is uh helping us to know
00:30:35 what time of the year uh to do this.
00:30:39 Now, I I don’t know a good way to say
00:30:41 this, but we’ll I’ll say it this way.
00:30:44 This helps us to know what type of Greek
00:30:47 season to do this, and I’m saying it
00:30:49 that way on purpose, as in this is
00:30:51 during the fall time. Um
00:30:54 and which uh the reason I say it that
00:30:57 way cuz season in the scriptures a lot
00:31:00 of times if not most
00:31:04 uh it goes to the word moed which goes
00:31:07 along with appointed time
00:31:10 which is when Yahweh tells us to do
00:31:11 something he has an appointment with us.
00:31:14 Um but uh this is helping us know that
00:31:19 the feast of tabernacles
00:31:22 happens during the time of harvesting
00:31:25 thy grain which is the corn. The corn is
00:31:28 not
00:31:29 the best translation in today’s English.
00:31:32 English has changed.
00:31:33 Now is that the new wine or is that the
00:31:36 uh so the you don’t just gather in wine
00:31:40 that has to do with the grapes that
00:31:41 creates the wine.
00:31:42 Okay. which can
00:31:45 uh new wine is uh se give or take 7 to
00:31:50 14 days old wine.
00:31:53 Correct.
00:31:55 This corn and thy wine, the grape
00:31:58 harvest is usually finished by the 15th
00:32:03 day of
00:32:06 the seventh moon. Now, another
00:32:08 interesting little tidbit. The white
00:32:10 stuff on your grapes when you buy them
00:32:12 from the grocery store is yeast and it’s
00:32:15 enough to make wine.
00:32:17 Yes.
00:32:18 So in a sense it is you’re harvesting
00:32:21 wine because you got all the ingredients
00:32:22 right there.
00:32:24 Boom.
00:32:26 All right. Is that 14?
00:32:29 And thou shalt rejoice and thy feast.
00:32:32 Wait a minute. Wait a minute. Wait a
00:32:33 minute. What is rejoicing?
00:32:37 Sorry. you need to raise your hand even
00:32:40 though you’re the host or presenter.
00:32:44 No, but it’s it’s a happy time. Rejoice
00:32:47 time of rejoicing is a time of
00:32:48 happiness. It’s a time of celebration.
00:32:50 Happiness usually. And here’s another
00:32:52 thing. So, if we go to deeper levels,
00:32:55 right? Wine
00:32:57 represents joy.
00:33:00 Wine does it represent joy?
00:33:02 It represents the gives us joy.
00:33:05 Right. I just want to throw that.
00:33:07 Yes, thou shalt rejoice in I feast. Why
00:33:11 is the feast of tabernacles
00:33:14 such a thing to rejoice over? And I want
00:33:17 to bring this out just real quick.
00:33:19 It couldn’t because of this, could it?
00:33:20 Oh, absolutely. It’s because the
00:33:23 atonement, you have come under his
00:33:25 covering. You have accepted Yeshua’s
00:33:28 atonement and come under his covering,
00:33:30 and now you are feasting with him.
00:33:35 So, here’s my question. Is it only you
00:33:37 that’s supposed to rejoice or can Z
00:33:40 maybe and Zach can read a little more
00:33:42 and we can figure out who’s supposed to
00:33:44 be rejoicing?
00:33:44 Absolutely. Absolutely. So, but I I I
00:33:47 just wanted to bring out the idea that
00:33:50 idea first. So, Zach
00:33:52 14.
00:33:53 Hey, and here’s the thing. He’s
00:33:56 commanding us in this verse to party.
00:34:00 Heck yeah.
00:34:01 Okay.
00:34:04 You need to be
00:34:05 Josh bring it up. One thing I find
00:34:07 interesting was one of the commandments
00:34:10 that’s like fought against the hardest
00:34:12 or the party commandments. I make sense
00:34:15 out of that,
00:34:16 right?
00:34:17 Yeah. doesn’t well it doesn’t make sense
00:34:19 but yeah
00:34:19 I do think I do think that the one of
00:34:21 the reasons for that is the it is an
00:34:24 assault on our it is an assault on the
00:34:27 Greek austerity metric which shows which
00:34:31 is that the more you suffer in life the
00:34:34 better a person you are. Um and I my one
00:34:39 argument on that is that Yeshua was a
00:34:41 wine bber which means he drank wine a
00:34:44 lot. Yes. A lot. Listen,
00:34:47 listen. The more you suffer in life,
00:34:50 here’s the truth. The more you suffer in
00:34:52 life, the more you suffer. And that’s
00:34:54 how it is.
00:34:55 Well, and then in addition, Yeshua told
00:34:58 the apostles, which applies to everybody
00:35:00 in this case, uh that he’ll give peace.
00:35:04 Yes.
00:35:05 Um
00:35:06 the last time I read the dictionary on
00:35:10 this word and suffering, they’re
00:35:13 opposites of each other. not um
00:35:16 simileies or synonyms each other.
00:35:19 So
00:35:19 yeah, you got it. Yeah,
00:35:20 they they do not go together. They’re
00:35:22 the opposites on the
00:35:24 they are the antithesis of each other.
00:35:28 Yes.
00:35:30 Zach, could you go ahead and finish 14
00:35:32 for us, please?
00:35:34 Uhhuh. And thou shalt rejoice in thy
00:35:36 feast, thou and thy son, and thy
00:35:39 daughter, and thy manservant, thy maid
00:35:41 servant, and the Levite, the stranger,
00:35:45 and the fatherless, and the widow that
00:35:47 are within leg gates.
00:35:48 Basically, everybody.
00:35:50 Yes.
00:35:51 No, it just says one son, singular son,
00:35:54 singular daughter, singular manervant,
00:35:56 singular man. Maybe
00:36:00 my across your door’s dead.
00:36:03 Are you a King James only person?
00:36:10 Listen, and that Levite who’s going to
00:36:13 show up on your doorstep. All right.
00:36:16 Well, you’re actually joking in the
00:36:18 extreme there.
00:36:19 But c can I say something just real
00:36:21 quick? Yeah.
00:36:22 Okay. So, I think it’s interesting. the
00:36:25 Levite, the stranger, the stranger in
00:36:29 Hebrew ideology is the nonbeliever. Even
00:36:32 the non-believer
00:36:34 is to rejoice in this feast. So
00:36:38 literally everybody
00:36:41 everybody within your deceits. No.
00:36:44 So that’s uh within your land there.
00:36:47 Right.
00:36:48 And then also it is interesting that it
00:36:51 lists eight uh groups there, right? Yes.
00:36:55 Eight.
00:36:55 Oh, it does. One, two, three, four,
00:36:57 five, six, seven, eight. Yeah,
00:37:00 it does. Oh my goodness.
00:37:01 Uh eight is a number of renewal.
00:37:04 Oh, as in uh
00:37:06 another way of saying is born again, as
00:37:09 we’ve talked about before,
00:37:10 or being becoming Israel. Oh,
00:37:17 direct.
00:37:18 Hey, Zach 15,
00:37:21 seven days shall thou keep a solemn
00:37:24 feast unto Y.
00:37:28 Okay,
00:37:29 you
00:37:31 I have I have an issue here.
00:37:33 Oh, what?
00:37:33 Are we supposed to rejoice at the feast
00:37:35 or is it supposed to be a solemn feast?
00:37:37 I’m confused.
00:37:39 Well, this is where uh words have
00:37:41 multiple meanings, silly
00:37:45 And I’m actually making that joke. I’m
00:37:47 actually making that joke to bring out
00:37:48 that point is that um solemn doesn’t
00:37:52 necessarily mean uh long face.
00:37:55 Oh,
00:37:57 I must never I must never crack a smile
00:38:00 in my life.
00:38:01 Yes.
00:38:02 That solemn simply means
00:38:07 serious. He gets serious about feasting.
00:38:12 Yeah. Let me tell you, I’m a foodie and
00:38:14 I get really serious about feasting. Let
00:38:16 me tell you,
00:38:18 I get down to business.
00:38:21 Well, and what Ben’s bringing out, um
00:38:24 Yahweh actually does specifically state
00:38:27 uh that the meek shall inherit the the
00:38:30 fat, not the skinny, but of the fat, as
00:38:34 in the multitudes.
00:38:38 Yes,
00:38:39 I’ve already done that.
00:38:42 I think Ben needs to start raising his
00:38:44 hand before he talks too.
00:38:48 Um, but the multitudes of the blessings
00:38:50 that he gives us. Okay. Not the skinny
00:38:53 blessings, but the fat multitude
00:38:56 because because what does Yahweh love to
00:39:00 do?
00:39:01 He loves
00:39:01 He loves to bless his children.
00:39:03 Yes. his people
00:39:07 with as much as he can possibly bless
00:39:11 them with.
00:39:12 Yes. Yeah.
00:39:14 All right. So, Zach finishes up on 15.
00:39:18 Yeah.
00:39:21 peace unto Yahweh
00:39:24 and the place which Yahweh shall choose
00:39:30 because Yahweh thy Elohim shall bless
00:39:33 thee in all thine all thine increase and
00:39:37 in all the works of thine hands.
00:39:39 Therefore thou shalt rejoice surely
00:39:41 rejoice.
00:39:44 So once again, this is showing that that
00:39:47 solemn feast is not necessarily a
00:39:50 straight laced, straightfaced feast. It
00:39:52 means you’re serious about feasting.
00:39:54 You’re serious about rejoicing in the
00:39:56 blessings that Yahweh has given to you.
00:39:59 Getting down getting down.
00:40:00 What is the place which Yahweh shall
00:40:02 choose?
00:40:04 Yeah. Uh and it doesn’t say the one
00:40:06 place you shall choose.
00:40:07 I know. That’s what I was That’s what I
00:40:10 was getting at.
00:40:14 because it’s not just it’s not a
00:40:16 specific place
00:40:18 per se.
00:40:21 Well, uh it I would say
00:40:24 it is still a place that he shall
00:40:25 choose, but it can be multiple places
00:40:28 that he chooses.
00:40:29 Yeah. For instance, the fact that
00:40:31 Jerusalem is a type and shadow of Zion
00:40:35 and the two are often mentioned under
00:40:38 that same heading under that same soet
00:40:41 of Jerusalem, the same name of
00:40:43 Jerusalem.
00:40:44 Well, what I was getting at, Ben, was
00:40:47 what you said earlier.
00:40:48 Yeah.
00:40:50 Where is your house?
00:40:54 Yeah. Well, um so right now a lot of
00:40:58 people um celebrate it in various
00:41:01 locations
00:41:03 um some up because of practicalities. Um
00:41:06 but later on you can’t just do it
00:41:09 anywhere that you want as people do
00:41:12 right now.
00:41:12 Correct.
00:41:13 Because there will be there will be a
00:41:15 place that you’ll which you shall
00:41:19 choose. There will be places which you
00:41:20 shall choose.
00:41:21 Right. So right now
00:41:23 I agree with that. Right now we’re kind
00:41:25 of doing rehearsals. Okay. So do the
00:41:28 best you can right now.
00:41:29 Correct.
00:41:30 Right. Verse 16.
00:41:34 Three times in a year shall all thy
00:41:38 males appear before
00:41:40 u Y
00:41:42 in the place which he shall choose in
00:41:45 the feast of unleaven bread and in the
00:41:47 feast of weeks
00:41:49 and the feast of tabernacles.
00:41:51 Yeah. and they shall not appear before
00:41:53 the Lord empty before Yahweh.
00:41:56 I will say this, I do believe the males
00:41:58 is a translation issue um from King
00:42:02 James has been carried over. I do
00:42:04 believe as it mentioned in a couple
00:42:06 verses just above
00:42:09 it’s everybody that needs to gather.
00:42:11 Okay?
00:42:12 So here’s the interesting thing and the
00:42:14 here’s the interesting thing here. It
00:42:16 calls shovel out the feast of weeks. And
00:42:18 that is because um you’re counting weeks
00:42:22 and then you’re count because of the
00:42:24 double count of the double count weeks
00:42:26 and days.
00:42:28 Yeah. No, the Hebrews like to focus on
00:42:31 the weekly Sabbath count.
00:42:34 Um the Greeks like to focus on the 50
00:42:38 days after that count.
00:42:41 Oh, yes they do. Yes.
00:42:45 Yeah.
00:42:47 Okay. Continue.
00:42:51 Every man shall give as he is able
00:42:54 according to the blessing of Yel
00:42:58 which he hath given thee.
00:43:02 Good. So basically we are to give we’re
00:43:06 to give of our we’re to give of our
00:43:09 increase.
00:43:10 Isn’t that Isn’t that a tithe?
00:43:11 That is tithing.
00:43:12 There you go. What? Well, okay. So, I I
00:43:15 I think this is beyond uh tithing. I
00:43:19 think this is something the
00:43:21 this is also free will.
00:43:23 This will help the poor keep the feast.
00:43:26 Okay, that makes sense.
00:43:27 Yeah, good point.
00:43:29 Mhm.
00:43:29 All right. Verse 18, Zach.
00:43:32 judges and off and and officers
00:43:35 shalt thou make thee
00:43:39 and in all thy gates which which Yahweh
00:43:42 the other hand you give thee throughout
00:43:46 thy tribes and and they shall judge the
00:43:49 people with just judgment.
00:43:52 Now it is interesting here it says at
00:43:54 the gates not behind closed doors.
00:43:57 Correct.
00:43:58 Right. So out in the open everything
00:43:59 will be out in the open. the the gates
00:44:02 uh back in ancient uh Jerusalem time
00:44:05 were public gathering places. Okay, this
00:44:09 also goes along with how um uh Yeshua
00:44:14 will be doing the final judgment at the
00:44:16 gate and and everybody will agree with
00:44:21 it be and unless it’s public, how can
00:44:23 they agree with it?
00:44:24 So, here’s another fine point in this
00:44:26 verse. Here’s another fine point in this
00:44:28 verse that’s often missed.
00:44:31 Judges and officers shall thou make thee
00:44:37 in all thy gates. This is a hint at how
00:44:42 these judges and officers are to be
00:44:44 chosen.
00:44:46 So are you saying it’s not just a a top
00:44:49 down thing, but it’s the vote?
00:44:54 Yeah, I know.
00:44:56 It’s democrat. It’s it’s somewhat
00:44:59 democratic in
00:45:00 nature word
00:45:04 please.
00:45:06 It is by the voice of the people.
00:45:08 By the voice of the people.
00:45:09 Right. Voting. Yes.
00:45:11 Yeah. The the main issue with democracy
00:45:13 is that people vote on the law. Uh so
00:45:16 that’s not democrat.
00:45:19 That’s not what is going on.
00:45:20 I said I said it was democratic like I
00:45:23 didn’t say it was democratic.
00:45:25 We missed the like. We missed the like.
00:45:27 Sorry about that.
00:45:28 You missed the word.
00:45:29 We were talking about that earlier,
00:45:31 though, so it kind of triggered us a
00:45:33 little bit.
00:45:34 Oh, okay. Well, no, democracy in and of
00:45:37 itself is is
00:45:41 horribly
00:45:42 to socialism.
00:45:43 Yes, it’s horribly flawed. But anyways,
00:45:46 yes,
00:45:47 verse 19, Zach,
00:45:51 thou shalt not rest in judgment. Thou
00:45:53 shalt not respect persons,
00:45:56 neither take a gift for a gift blind
00:45:59 eyes of the wise and pervert the words
00:46:01 of the righteous.
00:46:02 Yes.
00:46:04 Translated as gift actually means bribe.
00:46:08 So no quit proquo stuff going on here.
00:46:11 So this this has to do with uh judges.
00:46:15 Okay. So, right, um, because if you want
00:46:19 to give a a a gift to a friend, but as
00:46:23 Ben brings out, it’s not actually a
00:46:24 gift. It’s a bribe. Okay? And a bribe
00:46:28 goes along with how you’re trying to
00:46:30 twist and pervert righteousness, which
00:46:33 judgement
00:46:35 judges are to do according to Yahweh’s
00:46:38 words, not for their own benefit. So
00:46:42 this neither take a gift that is a
00:46:44 basically a re reiteration
00:46:47 of the top clause in verse 19 which says
00:46:51 thou shalt not rest judgment.
00:46:54 Yes.
00:46:54 Right. Right.
00:46:55 Which is perverting judgment.
00:46:57 Correct.
00:46:58 Yes. Verse 20. Zach.
00:47:02 That which is that which is altogether
00:47:04 just shalt thou follow
00:47:08 that thou may Yeah. that thou mayest
00:47:11 live and inherit the land which Yahweh
00:47:14 the Elohim giveth thee.
00:47:16 Okay, this this these verses may not
00:47:19 speak directly to the feast of
00:47:21 tabernacles, but they’re also they are
00:47:24 crucial to understanding the time frame
00:47:27 that we’re talking about. The time frame
00:47:30 we’re talking about with the feast of
00:47:31 tabernacles is the time that Yeshua
00:47:35 comes in his second coming to live
00:47:39 with his children,
00:47:42 right?
00:47:42 As in tabernacles is a type of the
00:47:45 millennium.
00:47:46 Correct.
00:47:47 Here’s Okay, that makes sense. Mhm.
00:47:49 There is something else a real a little
00:47:52 gem for those of us who love Torah. It’s
00:47:55 in here. That which is altogether just
00:47:59 shalt thou follow.
00:48:02 There is only one
00:48:04 thing that is altogether just and that
00:48:07 is the mind and will of Yah which he
00:48:10 revealed to us in Torah and through the
00:48:14 words of his son and through the words
00:48:16 of the prophets and through the words of
00:48:18 prophets in the new world and in through
00:48:21 the words of the prophet Joseph Smith.
00:48:24 Mhm.
00:48:26 I
00:48:26 also think it’s cool. He says that thou
00:48:28 mayest live because you know the wages
00:48:30 of sin are death, right?
00:48:32 Yeah.
00:48:33 And this actually ties this back to the
00:48:35 fourth comm uh not to the fourth to the
00:48:37 fifth commandment. Honor thy father and
00:48:39 thy mother that thy days may be long.
00:48:41 Yeah.
00:48:42 Mhm.
00:48:44 And there’s a lot of parts to that fifth
00:48:46 to to help support the the current
00:48:49 theme. Um, the father is Yahweh and the
00:48:54 mother is the law.
00:48:56 Yes. Okay. Now, that is not the surface
00:48:59 level there. But,
00:49:01 no, I was going to say that that’s a
00:49:03 little deeper.
00:49:04 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. But part, but it but
00:49:06 you’ll find it doesn’t contradict the
00:49:08 surface level.
00:49:09 No. No. Does not. No.
00:49:12 Move to the next slide.
00:49:13 All right. 21. Let’s do it. No, we’re
00:49:15 going to move to the next slide because
00:49:17 I don’t because that kind of is
00:49:22 off
00:49:24 uh
00:49:24 subject
00:49:25 off subject. So, yeah.
00:49:26 Okay. I’m gonna pause for one second.
00:49:29 All right. So, Stephen, if you could
00:49:32 pick us up in Numbers 29 12-19.
00:49:37 Yeah. And on the 15th day of the seventh
00:49:40 month, you shall have a holy
00:49:42 convocation.
00:49:44 And so this is going on with the weekly
00:49:46 Sabbath again. And in addition to help
00:49:48 support that, you shall do no survile
00:49:52 work, which is what you’re paid for. And
00:49:55 you shall uh keep a feast. Oh, no.
00:49:59 I that um who doesn’t like to eat unto
00:50:03 Yahweh
00:50:05 seven
00:50:07 days?
00:50:10 Oh man,
00:50:10 I I I could I kind of like that. I do
00:50:14 too.
00:50:14 Yeah. Eating eating feasting for seven
00:50:17 days.
00:50:19 I won’t go hungry for a week. This is
00:50:21 great.
00:50:22 Um and so this is like he’s telling us
00:50:25 to enjoy life.
00:50:26 Yes,
00:50:27 that’s exactly what he’s saying. Well,
00:50:30 now I I won’t say too much, but
00:50:33 considering
00:50:34 that there’s
00:50:36 seven,000
00:50:38 [Music]
00:50:40 um years,
00:50:41 I was going to say there’s deeper
00:50:42 symbology to this, but yeah,
00:50:45 could even point it to all of mortality.
00:50:49 Absolutely.
00:50:50 Okay. Absolutely. Was thank you for
00:50:53 confirming that.
00:50:54 Absolutely. Yeah. and you shall offer a
00:50:58 burnt offering uh a sacrifice made by
00:51:02 fire of a sweet savor unto Yahweh.
00:51:06 So now he’s going to tell to say what it
00:51:08 is. Uh he wants it sweet because it’s um
00:51:12 he enjoys this. Okay.
00:51:15 13 young bolocks,
00:51:18 two rams and 14 lambs of the first year.
00:51:24 They shall be without blemish. Um, do
00:51:28 you want me to say something about that
00:51:29 or do you want to?
00:51:31 Well, uh, let’s just go ahead. What I
00:51:34 would like you to do is just finish that
00:51:36 first day. Let’s let’s
00:51:38 go down this first paragraph.
00:51:39 Let’s finish the first day.
00:51:41 Okay. All right. And their meat shall
00:51:43 meat offering or bread offering, and if
00:51:46 you don’t believe me, just hold on one
00:51:48 second. Shall be of flour.
00:51:52 House.
00:51:54 What is it with
00:51:57 animals?
00:51:58 So unless you’re making
00:52:01 meat loaf.
00:52:06 This happens to be bread.
00:52:07 Okay. All right. Uh and the bread is
00:52:10 mingled with oil.
00:52:12 Oh man, I thought it said animal fat.
00:52:16 Uh I think you need to get your eyes
00:52:18 checked. Your your glasses prescription
00:52:20 is not working right.
00:52:21 You’re you’re right. I’m so sorry. Um,
00:52:25 is it okay to talk about that symbolism
00:52:27 or you have that later?
00:52:29 Uh, we I don’t have that later.
00:52:31 Okay. So, we’ll do this one then.
00:52:34 So, uh flour aka bread uh represents the
00:52:39 law. Okay.
00:52:41 And the oil has is the Holy Spirit. It
00:52:45 they’re mingled together like they’re
00:52:49 one.
00:52:50 Yes. When flour is mingled with oil to
00:52:52 make bread, the bread is a one single
00:52:55 unit. Just like you have the written
00:52:59 word is the revelation
00:53:02 of the Holy Spirit mind and will of
00:53:07 the um therefore the written word is
00:53:13 the flower
00:53:15 of the Holy Spirit oil that together
00:53:18 they form the Holy Spirit.
00:53:21 Yeah. Now, one of the definitions of
00:53:23 spirit is behavior. And interestingly
00:53:26 enough,
00:53:28 uh we are to be holy as Yahweh is holy
00:53:32 and his word Torah tells us how to
00:53:36 behave holy. Now, if we were if everyone
00:53:41 who professed the desire
00:53:44 to live according to the word were to
00:53:48 treat the word not as a toy that they
00:53:53 could choose which parts to interact
00:53:56 with,
00:53:58 but as the revelation of the living mind
00:54:03 and will of Yu.
00:54:07 How much different how much different
00:54:11 would our
00:54:13 um how much different would our
00:54:15 interactions with the word be if we kept
00:54:18 this in mind?
00:54:20 Uh we would actually starting to
00:54:22 understand it.
00:54:23 Yeah.
00:54:26 And then uh 310 steel onto every bolocs.
00:54:32 I won’t touch the bolocks because I’m
00:54:34 we’re gonna talk about those later.
00:54:35 Yes. But the three interesting to help
00:54:38 support uh the
00:54:42 flower, commandments, and oil, Holy
00:54:45 Spirit are both Torah. Three in the
00:54:49 symbolic symbolism points to the Holy
00:54:52 Spirit and Torah. Okay.
00:54:55 And I and hence,
00:54:58 huh, what is there anything that’s
00:55:01 related to 10?
00:55:05 Enlighten me buddy. The 10 divisions of
00:55:08 Torah
00:55:12 of Torah
00:55:14 also means ordinal perfection.
00:55:17 Law perfection in the law
00:55:22 unto every.
00:55:23 Are you telling me that the psalm says
00:55:26 the law is perfect?
00:55:29 Yes.
00:55:30 Okay. Thank you for making it clear.
00:55:33 So anyways, okay. Uh to read the last
00:55:37 part, two rams and 14 lambs of the first
00:55:42 year. Oh wait, no I sorry I’m forgetting
00:55:46 where I was. Um back to 14 instead of
00:55:50 13. 210 deals of each ram of the two
00:55:55 rams. Now two does point to the sun.
00:56:00 Correct. uh the Rams uh point to which
00:56:03 we’ll talk about more later I think.
00:56:05 Yeah, that is correct. We will
00:56:07 15 and the several
00:56:11 tenth deal to each lamb of the 14 lambs.
00:56:16 Um so I would say that’s 9.9 to 0110 of
00:56:24 a deal. Um I
00:56:28 you know anyway
00:56:32 that and we’ll talk about the 14 lambs
00:56:34 later I believe.
00:56:35 Yes we will
00:56:36 and one kid of the goat. So this is a a
00:56:41 goat that is a young goat as a kid uh
00:56:46 within his first year within his first
00:56:48 year
00:56:50 for I I I just
00:56:53 want to ask a question real quick. When
00:56:55 it talks about specific
00:56:59 animal offerings that are to be offered,
00:57:02 are these offerings that are to be
00:57:04 offered by everyone or offerings that
00:57:06 are to be offered by the Levites?
00:57:10 The Levites. These ones right here are
00:57:12 the Levites.
00:57:13 Okay. These are offerings to be made on
00:57:17 behalf of the calledout assembly.
00:57:21 Correct. So to help support that, uh
00:57:24 Josh, can you afford 13 bullocks?
00:57:29 What?
00:57:29 In one day.
00:57:30 In one day. Because there’s more the
00:57:32 next day.
00:57:33 Yeah. Can you afford 13 bulocks and then
00:57:35 12 bulocks and then 11 bullets?
00:57:37 I can’t even afford one bulock. What are
00:57:39 you talking about?
00:57:41 So
00:57:42 nobody on this poll except maybe Steven
00:57:44 could afford to buy one.
00:57:47 No.
00:57:49 Um,
00:57:53 so the sparkling account here is this is
00:57:57 from the church done by the Levites.
00:58:00 Correct.
00:58:01 Okay. And that was my question. Thank
00:58:03 you.
00:58:04 Absolutely. Uh, am I on 15 or 16? Okay.
00:58:08 And one kid of the goats for a sin
00:58:11 offering. I think we’re going to talk
00:58:12 about that. We are.
00:58:13 We will.
00:58:14 Besides the continual burnt offering.
00:58:16 So, I’m going to bring out this one.
00:58:17 This is the uh wood offering that’s
00:58:21 should never stop which is uh burning
00:58:24 wood all day long every day forever.
00:58:29 Is this the cleansing fire?
00:58:31 Is this burning is this burning wood at
00:58:34 the altar?
00:58:35 Yes.
00:58:35 Yes. That’s what the This is what gets
00:58:38 be done on top of.
00:58:41 Yes.
00:58:41 I mean this is I think I said that
00:58:44 wrong. So let me start again. This is
00:58:46 what these other offerings are burnt on
00:58:48 top of. Yes.
00:58:50 As a continual fire.
00:58:52 Yes. And now I do want to bring this
00:58:53 out. This is the wood offering which
00:58:56 comes from trees which represents man.
00:58:59 How we are supposed to be purifying.
00:59:01 This is an internal thing. And these
00:59:04 other offerings are on top of that.
00:59:06 Meaning
00:59:07 if the inside is not being purified all
00:59:10 these other ones mean nothing.
00:59:12 Zero.
00:59:13 Okay. Right. Zilch.
00:59:15 Makes sense.
00:59:17 Yeah. Because if there if you’re not
00:59:19 burning inside for Yahwa and his ways,
00:59:23 the burning bosom
00:59:27 nothing else. Uh you can’t have a fire
00:59:30 to burn these other offerings on.
00:59:32 So yeah, if you’re not burning for Ya on
00:59:35 the inside, you will be burning on the
00:59:38 outside. Uh uh like uh fire and
00:59:42 brimstone and he and hell.
00:59:44 Yes.
00:59:48 Sorry. Anyways,
00:59:49 I need to I need to be more serious
00:59:50 about this. I’m sorry. You need to raise
00:59:53 your hand even though you’re looking.
00:59:55 Yeah, I know, right? That would be
00:59:57 awkward. Um his meat offering and his
01:00:00 drink offering.
01:00:02 All right. So, Oh, wait. Wait.
01:00:05 Well, the the meat is bread as we talked
01:00:08 about before and I and his wine
01:00:10 offering. Okay. As an alcohol,
01:00:14 right?
01:00:14 Alcohol is actually a living drink like
01:00:18 living water.
01:00:20 And it also goes along how uh you can
01:00:23 have his peace always as an eternal
01:00:26 life.
01:00:27 Oh, yeah. My dad had a funny saying
01:00:30 about alcohol. You never bought it. You
01:00:32 just rent it for a while. But um
01:00:38 thanks D.
01:00:40 Yeah,
01:00:41 he’s he’s not wrong.
01:00:44 Oh gosh. So I with what I want to do
01:00:49 with this is I want to go ahead and just
01:00:50 read through all the days then we will
01:00:52 go back into it and just break it down.
01:00:56 Okay.
01:00:56 Because I think it will help with the
01:00:58 imagery of the bollocks.
01:01:00 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
01:01:02 Yeah,
01:01:02 you want me to do 17 through 18?
01:01:04 17 through this whole page is you.
01:01:06 Okay. And on the second day, uh, ye
01:01:09 shall or ye as in the church through the
01:01:12 Levite shall offer 12 young bolocks, two
01:01:16 rams, 14 lambs of the first year without
01:01:19 spot. And their bread offering and their
01:01:23 wine offerings for the bolo, for the
01:01:25 rams, and for the lamb shall be
01:01:27 according to their number after the
01:01:29 manner. and what referring to what’s
01:01:33 already been listed. Okay.
01:01:34 Uh cuz that’s been established as the
01:01:37 manner.
01:01:38 Correct.
01:01:38 Or the procedure maybe in today’s um
01:01:42 mannerism
01:01:43 standard operating procedure, right?
01:01:45 Yeah. Your SOP according to the SOP. But
01:01:49 anyways,
01:01:53 and one of the goats for a sin offering
01:01:57 besides the continual burnt offering,
01:02:00 which is the wood again. Okay. And then
01:02:02 we are supposed to
01:02:04 offering and the wine offerings,
01:02:06 the bread offering thereof, and their
01:02:08 drink offerings or the wine. There’s a
01:02:10 lot of deforestation going on.
01:02:14 Well,
01:02:15 yes, but you should be replanting. Uh,
01:02:19 yes, you’re absolutely correct. I’m just
01:02:21 It’s just It’s just funny. We’ve got a
01:02:23 lot of tree burning though cuz you have
01:02:25 to keep it going over 48 hours. Well,
01:02:28 hell with the whole week. So, Jenny says
01:02:32 multiply.
01:02:33 And then the part that goes with this
01:02:35 replenish
01:02:38 for you for
01:02:43 just pointing out. Yeah,
01:02:45 I will just point out this
01:02:48 that this offering is a continual burnt
01:02:51 offering. It’s not just going on for the
01:02:54 feast of tabernac.
01:02:56 That’s true. It’s
01:02:57 it’s going on every day of the year. Uh
01:03:01 365 Gregorian days.
01:03:05 Yeah.
01:03:06 So this day of the year
01:03:08 that’s going on at the temple
01:03:09 in um 24 hours a day. It is not to go
01:03:14 out. If it does go out,
01:03:16 this is going to require skilled
01:03:21 skilled um
01:03:23 well, these are Levites that are on the
01:03:24 job 24 hours a day.
01:03:27 Not taking turns shift. Um they’re not
01:03:31 all on
01:03:32 not
01:03:33 24 hours themselves, but they’re taking
01:03:35 turns.
01:03:35 As far as that goes, not every Levite
01:03:38 worked at the temple. There were Levites
01:03:41 who tended the flocks of the sheep that
01:03:43 were used to sacrifice at the temple.
01:03:46 There were Levites who were um
01:03:50 who were husbandmen of the of the earth
01:03:53 growing the trees and other things that
01:03:56 Yeah.
01:03:56 that were part of the perpetual fire.
01:03:59 You had bakers. You had wine makers.
01:04:02 So the um but the Yeah. So the Levites
01:04:06 were the the Levites
01:04:09 their charge and responsibility was the
01:04:12 whole of the temple service.
01:04:15 Yes.
01:04:16 Now uh if you wanted to donate things to
01:04:19 help with that uh that was accepted to
01:04:23 help with the the the normal sacrifices
01:04:26 and not just the ones that you want to
01:04:28 do for you. Um, but the Levites had to
01:04:32 make sure uh there was stuff all the
01:04:34 time.
01:04:34 Yes, correct.
01:04:37 All right, let us but Sorry, one last
01:04:39 thing about that about that u the
01:04:42 Levites
01:04:43 uh not all just being temple attendants
01:04:46 and what have you. It was the Levi. It
01:04:51 was the shepherds that the angels
01:04:53 appeared to when Yeshua was born
01:04:58 were Levites
01:05:00 tending their flocks of sheep
01:05:03 at night.
01:05:05 Meaning they were doing their duty or
01:05:09 being faithful.
01:05:12 Yahweh goes to and sends messages
01:05:14 and that was and that was why they were
01:05:16 able to be visited,
01:05:19 right? And then the faith will go give
01:05:21 it to others,
01:05:23 right? Which they then did.
01:05:26 Correct. So it’s a wonderful example how
01:05:28 Yahweh teaches everyone.
01:05:31 Right. Now that is pretty awesome. Yeah.
01:05:35 Should we go on the next one?
01:05:36 Next one.
01:05:37 We want to read all through Numbers 29.
01:05:40 Okay. I’ll take 23.
01:05:41 Yes, please do. And on the third day, 11
01:05:45 bulocks, two rams, 14 lambs of the first
01:05:48 year without blemish, always that that
01:05:51 is always specified. And their meat
01:05:54 offering and their drink offerings for
01:05:56 the bulocks and the rams and for the
01:05:57 lambs shall be according to their number
01:05:59 after the manner. And one goat for a sin
01:06:02 offering every day. One goat.
01:06:06 Because beside the continual burnt
01:06:08 offering and his meat offering and his
01:06:10 drink offering. Um so this is
01:06:13 interesting. This so
01:06:16 some some people say that the only place
01:06:19 where the goat is not mentioned as a kid
01:06:21 is on the eighth day. Guess what? That’s
01:06:23 not true. Here it is on the third day.
01:06:26 Here it is.
01:06:27 One goat first sin offering. Not a kid
01:06:29 of the goat. One goat.
01:06:30 There you go. Um so this is one of those
01:06:34 things where in one instance it’s not
01:06:36 specific but where it it but in
01:06:39 instances where things are not specific
01:06:41 in the scriptures we can look to the
01:06:43 places where it is specified and we can
01:06:45 gain
01:06:47 uh further clarity and uh knowledge as
01:06:50 to the nature of that goat
01:06:52 as in looking for a pattern. Right.
01:06:55 Right. Because uh Yahweh doesn’t say
01:06:58 everything every single time because if
01:07:00 he did, he would never stop talking,
01:07:03 right?
01:07:05 You know,
01:07:06 especially especially to us, his
01:07:09 backsliding children.
01:07:11 If he had to say everything every single
01:07:13 time, you would have a chapter to like
01:07:15 number N numbers chapter 29.
01:07:18 And on the fourth day, 10 bulocks, two
01:07:20 rams, and 14 lambs of the first year
01:07:22 without lash. Uh, and their meat
01:07:24 offering and their drink offerings for
01:07:26 the bulocks and the rams and for the
01:07:27 lamb shall be according to their number
01:07:29 after the manner, which has previously
01:07:31 been specified. And one kid of the goats
01:07:33 for the sin offering back.
01:07:36 Yep.
01:07:38 Beside the continual burnt offering, his
01:07:41 meat offering, and his drink offering.
01:07:44 And on the fifth day, nine bo.
01:07:47 Have you guys noticed that the bollocks
01:07:49 just keep shrinking by one every year?
01:07:51 Every day.
01:07:52 We’ll get to that. We’ll get to that.
01:07:53 Get to that.
01:07:54 Yep. But I’m just pointing out the
01:07:56 pattern so people can see. I was going
01:07:59 to say nine bollocks, two rams, and 14
01:08:02 lambs of the first year without spot.
01:08:04 And their meat offerings and their drink
01:08:06 offerings for the bollocks and for the
01:08:07 rams and for the lamb shall be according
01:08:09 to their number after the manner. And
01:08:11 one goat for a sin offering. And see
01:08:13 here it is again. They’re alternating
01:08:16 kin of the goats with goat and one goat
01:08:18 for a sin offering beside the continual
01:08:20 burnt offering and his meat offering and
01:08:22 its drink offering.
01:08:24 Okay,
01:08:25 next
01:08:26 Andy
01:08:29 29 through 40 here. Let me let me
01:08:31 Yeah, I’m sorry. That is
01:08:32 I’ve already got it. Go ahead and use
01:08:35 mine.
01:08:36 And on the sixth day, eight bulocks, two
01:08:39 rams, and 14 lambs of the first year
01:08:42 without blemish.
01:08:43 and their meat offering and their drink
01:08:45 offerings for the bulocks, for the rams,
01:08:47 and for the lambs shall be according to
01:08:49 their number after the manner.
01:08:52 And one goat for a sin offering beside
01:08:55 the continual burnt offering, his men,
01:08:59 sorry, his meat offering and his drink
01:09:01 offering.
01:09:03 And on the seventh day, seven bollocks,
01:09:07 two rams, and 14 lambs of the first year
01:09:11 without blemish. and their meat offering
01:09:14 and their drink offerings for the
01:09:15 bollocks, for the rams, and for the
01:09:17 lambs shall be according to their number
01:09:19 after the manner.
01:09:22 And one goat for a sin offering beside
01:09:24 the continual burnt offering, his meat
01:09:26 offering, and his drink offering. Yes.
01:09:30 Now, this is going to change a little.
01:09:32 On the eighth day, ye shall have a
01:09:35 solemn assembly.
01:09:38 You shall do no survile work therein.
01:09:41 Uh-huh. There’s the Sabbath. Oh, okay.
01:09:43 So, can can we work on uh uh tabernacles
01:09:48 day 2 through 7?
01:09:52 Yes.
01:09:52 Yes. Very good. Yes. And the only reason
01:09:55 and a big thing that’s going on here on
01:09:58 the 1st and the eighth day,
01:10:01 uh those are lunar sabbaths.
01:10:03 Yes.
01:10:05 So there’s nothing um outside of lunar
01:10:09 Sabbath that uh we’re not supposed to
01:10:12 work on the day of tabernacles,
01:10:14 right?
01:10:15 And and just something to consider if
01:10:18 you everyone’s going to the same area
01:10:22 uh without workers that might be kind of
01:10:25 impractical.
01:10:26 Yes.
01:10:27 Yeah. So
01:10:29 slightly.
01:10:31 Anyways, 36. Ready? Yep.
01:10:34 But ye shall offer a burnt offering of
01:10:37 sacrifice made of fire of a sweet savor
01:10:39 unto the Lord. One bollock, one ram,
01:10:44 seven lambs, the first year without
01:10:46 blemish.
01:10:47 Their meat offering and their drink
01:10:49 offerings for the bollock, for the ram,
01:10:51 for the lambs shall be according to
01:10:54 their number after the manner.
01:10:56 Mhm. and one goat for a sin offering
01:10:59 beside the continual burnt offering and
01:11:02 his meat offering and the drink
01:11:03 offering.
01:11:06 These things shall shall um ye shall do
01:11:11 unto the Lord in your set feasts beside
01:11:14 your vows
01:11:16 and your free will offerings, for your
01:11:19 burnt offerings, and for your meat
01:11:21 offerings and for your drink offerings
01:11:24 and for your peace offerings. And Moses
01:11:26 told the children of Israel
01:11:29 according to all that Yafa commanded
01:11:32 Moses.
01:11:34 So numbers 28 and 29 actually cover the
01:11:38 Levitical sacrifices uh related to the
01:11:41 law of Moses and also to the Sabbaths,
01:11:46 the new moons
01:11:48 and the ye annual and the annual
01:11:52 Sabbaths or the high politics. So Ben
01:11:55 mentioned three types of days there. Um
01:11:58 or Sabbaths, sorry. Uh weekly Sabbath,
01:12:02 moonly Sabbath, yearly Sabbath. Okay.
01:12:05 So he really spells it out here.
01:12:08 Oh, absolutely. So let’s move on to the
01:12:10 next slide. So I I really think that the
01:12:13 the actual symbolism is actually
01:12:16 important. Uh so the sacrificial
01:12:19 offerings uh of symbolism for the
01:12:22 offerings. Let’s look at the bulocks.
01:12:25 Bulocks can Oh, it’s all good. It’s all
01:12:28 good. Bulocks can or uh represent a
01:12:32 costly acknowledgement of covering of
01:12:35 our sins because of the need for
01:12:38 reconciliation with Elohim. It’s also
01:12:41 symbolic of the blood of the covenant.
01:12:43 And we get this from uh do you believe
01:12:46 it’s Romans born of Hebrews? Hebrews
01:12:49 chapter 9 verse 19 wherein Moses he
01:12:54 gives the particular animal the blood
01:12:56 was from
01:12:58 the cleansing.
01:12:59 So let’s talk about when uh Moses
01:13:01 sprinkled uh the
01:13:05 Israelites and mixed multitude at Mount
01:13:08 Si. Okay.
01:13:10 Okay.
01:13:11 Correct. Correct.
01:13:12 Let me read that verse real quick.
01:13:15 Hebrews 9:19.
01:13:18 For when Moshe had spoken every precept
01:13:22 to all the people according to the law,
01:13:26 he took the blood of calves and of goats
01:13:31 with water with scarlet wool and heap
01:13:35 and sprinkled both the book and all the
01:13:38 people.
01:13:40 And the book he’s referring to
01:13:43 is the law. is the book of the covenant.
01:13:46 Yeah.
01:13:46 Or in other words, Torah, what we
01:13:49 promise
01:13:50 to keep as in Mosiah 18 brings out
01:13:53 before we are baptized, we covenantly
01:13:56 keep all
01:13:58 all of Yahweh’s commandments, not just
01:14:01 some of them.
01:14:02 Mhm. And as we as you read in Torah and
01:14:06 the sacrifices that the Levites are
01:14:08 supposed to do, the first thing they are
01:14:11 supposed to do on the sacrificial altar
01:14:14 is to sprinkle the blood of bollocks
01:14:17 upon the altar to cleanse it. And
01:14:20 so one of the interesting things is in
01:14:22 the um in the Old Testament uh telling
01:14:26 of this tale of the sprinkling of the
01:14:29 blood of the covenant. That is what
01:14:32 Moshe refers to the blood of these
01:14:34 bulocks as. It’s the blood of the
01:14:38 covenant.
01:14:38 Yes.
01:14:40 Which goes back to Yeshua’s blood.
01:14:43 Yes.
01:14:45 It’s Yeshua’s blood that cleanses us.
01:14:48 And it’s interesting that it’s the blood
01:14:50 of these the blood of these bulocks is
01:14:53 sprinkled upon the horns of the altar to
01:14:56 cleanse the sacrificial altar. Yes. At
01:14:59 the beginning of at the beginning of
01:15:02 these feasts
01:15:03 in the horns represents power. Okay.
01:15:06 Yes.
01:15:07 Uh it is Torah that uh power comes from
01:15:11 one kef.
01:15:12 Yes.
01:15:13 Um so also we notice that the numbers of
01:15:18 bulocks in the sacrifices went down from
01:15:21 13 all the way down to seven. Stephen,
01:15:24 what does the number 13 represent? So,
01:15:26 it has uh multiple meanings and you’ll
01:15:29 see on in pretty much every symbol
01:15:32 there’s two basic ones and they’re
01:15:35 opposites of each other. So, the context
01:15:36 that’s going along here is going to be
01:15:40 renewal or returning
01:15:43 or restoration
01:15:46 um and then going back.
01:15:48 And interestingly enough, the 13 bulocks
01:15:51 is on the first day,
01:15:53 right? And then I think what uh John
01:15:55 wants me to bring out and then it ends
01:15:57 with seven. Okay, which is perfection.
01:16:01 Completely doing it. So,
01:16:03 and you want to know a little fun fact
01:16:04 that I just found out as we were
01:16:06 teaching that section?
01:16:07 What?
01:16:08 Every single day. You know what the sum
01:16:10 of all those numbers is?
01:16:12 70.
01:16:13 Oh.
01:16:14 And what is 70?
01:16:16 Yes.
01:16:18 It is. All right. So, but on the seven
01:16:21 going from 13 uh I I see uh goes with
01:16:26 justification because you’re returning
01:16:28 correct.
01:16:29 You’re now in the kingdom and seven is
01:16:32 sanctification
01:16:34 that now you’ve done it perfectly. So,
01:16:37 and this and when you consider that the
01:16:40 this is
01:16:42 when you consider that the feast of
01:16:43 tabernacles
01:16:45 represents our tabernacling immortality
01:16:49 that’s teaching us the purpose of our
01:16:52 lives
01:16:53 which it’s teaching us
01:16:55 which is which is
01:16:58 to become
01:16:59 come under Yes. come under Yeshua’s
01:17:01 covering
01:17:03 to keep his commandments and walk in his
01:17:06 footsteps to take his name upon us
01:17:08 and helping others to do so
01:17:11 and to be perfected in him
01:17:13 and help others to do the same naturally
01:17:18 to help others do the same because
01:17:20 honestly if you’re not if you’re if
01:17:22 you’re not helping other people to keep
01:17:24 Torah you’re not walking in yes
01:17:26 footsteps I’m sorry
01:17:28 well and you’re not keeping Torah
01:17:32 So, so I I do believe that walking in
01:17:35 the footsteps of Yeshua kind of fully
01:17:39 summates that whole idea of keeping
01:17:41 Torah and helping other people to do the
01:17:43 same because that’s what he did
01:17:45 throughout his entire
01:17:46 I agree. I just think that’s an
01:17:47 important part to make clear to others.
01:17:50 Yeah. So be because there is a serious
01:17:53 problem in the Hebrew roots movement
01:17:55 where people do where Hebrew rooers are
01:17:57 terrible about ministering
01:18:00 uh
01:18:02 ministering to ministering outside of
01:18:04 their little congregations.
01:18:06 Right? They keep to themselves
01:18:09 that that Torah isn’t kept in a vacuum.
01:18:12 Correct. And I will also go a little
01:18:14 further. Uh I I if you think you can
01:18:18 leave the world and be keeping Torah,
01:18:21 uh Yeshua said to convert the world, not
01:18:26 hide from the world. And you have to be
01:18:28 in the world,
01:18:30 not of the world. Yeah.
01:18:33 To do that. That’s what that really
01:18:34 means.
01:18:35 So
01:18:36 yeah,
01:18:37 you’re ready to move on.
01:18:38 That’s a big one, right? That’s a big
01:18:39 one right there. Be in the world but not
01:18:42 of the world. M
01:18:45 okay. So symbolism of sacrificial
01:18:48 offerings the two rams. So there’s two
01:18:51 different things that we can point to.
01:18:54 There’s the two rams represent
01:18:58 the two sufferings of Yeshua. The first
01:19:01 suffering in the garden of Gethsemane
01:19:03 and the second suffering on the cross
01:19:05 before he passed away. And there’s an
01:19:08 additional thing that this points back
01:19:10 to before, and that is the one ram in
01:19:14 the story of Abraham when he goes to
01:19:16 offer his son Isaac as a sacrificial
01:19:20 offering. Not understanding what Yahweh
01:19:22 meant when he said, “Offer thy son thy
01:19:26 only son unto me,”
01:19:27 which is Yeshua actually,
01:19:30 right? But but this but according but
01:19:33 according to Torah that offering of the
01:19:36 only son that is the um the firstborn
01:19:41 that splits the matrix of every woman is
01:19:44 yas.
01:19:44 Yeah.
01:19:45 Right. And and so along with this I can
01:19:48 get links to some other recordings but
01:19:50 it goes out how Abraham misunderstood
01:19:54 that he was supposed to uh give an
01:19:56 offering for his son. um not to offer
01:20:02 his son.
01:20:03 Yes.
01:20:04 So just really interesting here the two
01:20:07 rams are offered each of the seven days
01:20:11 of the feast of tabernacles.
01:20:16 Mhm.
01:20:16 That means that we are to bear in
01:20:19 remembrance
01:20:21 the price that Yeshua paid for us.
01:20:24 Yes.
01:20:25 Every day of our mortality.
01:20:28 Mhm. Yes.
01:20:29 The one ram that is sacrificed
01:20:33 is on the eighth day which represents
01:20:37 the which represents the kingdom of
01:20:39 heaven
01:20:42 after uh mortality which is eternity.
01:20:45 Right?
01:20:46 And at that point there will be just one
01:20:48 ram.
01:20:51 There will be
01:20:53 right
01:20:53 one ram that was caught in the thicket
01:21:00 rescuing Abraham
01:21:04 from his own foolishness
01:21:08 and his misunderstandings.
01:21:10 Mhm. So all right. Do you want to add
01:21:13 anything else? Awesome.
01:21:17 All right. Now the 14 lambs, 14 is a
01:21:20 messianic number, it is talking about
01:21:23 the messianic reign of Yeshua. Lambs
01:21:27 without blemish. They are symbolic and
01:21:30 that is exactly every single offering
01:21:33 with a lamb. It’s a lamb of the first
01:21:35 year without blemish without blemish or
01:21:40 without spot.
01:21:41 Yes. which is the em the symbolic
01:21:47 embodiment of Yeshua. He was the lamb
01:21:52 without blemish and without spot whose
01:21:55 covering we are to take upon ourselves
01:21:58 or come under I should say that we are
01:22:01 name and whose name we are supposed to
01:22:03 take upon.
01:22:04 Exactly. And just to be explicit, the
01:22:07 character as in first John actually
01:22:10 brings out.
01:22:11 Yes indeed.
01:22:12 All right.
01:22:15 Now, the kid of the goats or a goat.
01:22:21 It’s because it points us back to the
01:22:23 scapegoat offering that we talked about
01:22:26 last week.
01:22:29 And it is
01:22:31 symbolic of Yeshua taking our sins upon
01:22:36 him
01:22:37 that we may repent.
01:22:39 Now, there’s a really bad translation in
01:22:42 the uh in the King James version which
01:22:45 says that he became sin for us. And this
01:22:47 is this is particularly loved by the
01:22:51 lawless.
01:22:53 But he didn’t become sin.
01:22:56 He took responsibility for the sins of
01:22:59 those who would follow him.
01:23:02 And he said it that way on purpose. Uh
01:23:04 for one example, Isaiah 53 brings out
01:23:07 it’s those who come under his covering,
01:23:10 not everyone.
01:23:11 Right? And the other thing about that is
01:23:13 because the I also want to lay emphasis
01:23:17 on would follow him because that shows
01:23:20 that we have a choice. Yes,
01:23:22 we are not predestined to follow him.
01:23:26 We are not. Our choice has not been
01:23:29 removed in the matter. We can interact
01:23:32 positively of our own preill
01:23:36 with the things of holiness.
01:23:40 So, Ben, what does uh endure to the end
01:23:43 mean and imply?
01:23:46 Endure to the to endure to the end means
01:23:49 to
01:23:50 steadfastly
01:23:52 walk in the faith of Yeshua
01:23:56 until
01:23:58 the end of your life or until you have
01:24:02 of your mortal life or until you have
01:24:05 received your sanctification and then to
01:24:08 walk in that sanctification
01:24:10 until the end of your mortal life.
01:24:13 Yes. Correct. So um
01:24:17 does endure to the end and the once
01:24:21 saved and always saved go together?
01:24:23 Not at all.
01:24:24 No. Because this once this once this
01:24:26 doctrine of once- saved always saved
01:24:29 most
01:24:31 most particularly
01:24:33 the idea
01:24:36 uh the idea is taught in tulip of
01:24:39 limited atonement which is that it’s
01:24:41 only for those who were predestined to
01:24:43 receive it.
01:24:45 And if that’s the case why would they
01:24:46 have to endure?
01:24:47 Right. Right.
01:24:49 It’s already been decided.
01:24:50 Yeah.
01:24:51 It’s already been decided. There’s no
01:24:52 need for endurance at that point because
01:24:55 true
01:24:55 you you don’t really have a choice
01:24:59 cuz someone else already made it for
01:25:01 you.
01:25:02 Oh wait, that sounds like
01:25:04 married for tomorrow we die.
01:25:05 Oh yeah.
01:25:07 Wait, that sounds like somebody else’s
01:25:09 plan.
01:25:11 There was someone else that wanted to
01:25:13 guarantee things.
01:25:20 like once saved always saved it.
01:25:25 Sounds very satanic. Anyways,
01:25:28 the
01:25:30 the tulip doctrine
01:25:32 is an invention
01:25:35 of
01:25:37 Calvinists
01:25:38 of Calvinists.
01:25:40 It comes from the pits of hell.
01:25:43 Amen. And it in was inspired
01:25:46 by an evil man
01:25:49 who uh killed people or actually better
01:25:53 put murdered people who didn’t believe
01:25:54 what he was teaching. So
01:25:56 which is really which is really ironic
01:25:58 because they couldn’t have believed they
01:26:01 couldn’t have believed what he was
01:26:02 teaching because they couldn’t possibly
01:26:04 interact positively
01:26:06 with the things of holiness because
01:26:08 they’ve already been predetermined that
01:26:10 they could not. So why was he so admit
01:26:13 that everybody had to believe it?
01:26:14 Because it was predetermined beforehand.
01:26:16 It’s like he didn’t believe it as an old
01:26:17 doctrine.
01:26:18 Mere tri was a liar.
01:26:20 Mere trifles. That’s all.
01:26:23 The man the man was a liar.
01:26:25 Yes.
01:26:26 Is that John Kelly?
01:26:28 Yes.
01:26:29 And it’s and his spirit infects much of
01:26:33 reformed Christian theology.
01:26:36 Yes. I I would imagine mostly
01:26:39 unknowingly because people um take the
01:26:43 words and opinions of men over uh what
01:26:47 scriptures say about things. So
01:26:50 so this is so this is the thing he
01:26:53 suffered
01:26:55 and paid and took upon him the sins of
01:26:58 all those who would follow him.
01:27:02 Yes.
01:27:04 Not all men but all who would follow
01:27:07 him. That is an important distinction.
01:27:11 Ready for the next one?
01:27:14 All right. Here is the list of days and
01:27:17 the numbers.
01:27:20 Day one 13241.
01:27:25 As I said before, the sum of the polls
01:27:28 and through the seven days comes out to
01:27:32 70. And then you have Yah
01:27:37 just the one.
01:27:38 There’s only one Messiah.
01:27:40 There is only one Messiah.
01:27:42 That is so cool.
01:27:44 And as we stated before, 70 points to
01:27:47 the Messiah. A
01:27:49 and 13 goes with renewal or your
01:27:53 returning
01:27:55 and seven goes with perfection.
01:27:57 Correct.
01:28:00 This is actually I am really glad I was
01:28:04 able to actually study this in detail
01:28:06 and Stephen helped out a great deal. I’m
01:28:10 not going to uh
01:28:14 shortplay anybody. I I really do
01:28:15 appreciate
01:28:16 I gave some suggestions and I helped
01:28:18 them out.
01:28:19 Yes. Uh, but I also love the fact that
01:28:22 the lambs go down to seven, which is the
01:28:26 perfect embodiment of Yeshua. Yeah.
01:28:31 And 12 means divine authority,
01:28:33 governmental perfection, and
01:28:34 completeness.
01:28:39 There’s one thing on this table that I
01:28:41 would contest. And that’s where you say
01:28:43 one adult.
01:28:44 Yeah. We uh
01:28:45 we we made a mistake. It’s okay.
01:28:46 Yeah. Yeah. We Oh. Uh, that is not what
01:28:50 I wanted to do. Sorry,
01:28:52 we have to leave this live.
01:28:53 I I guess I can’t edit it.
01:28:55 Um, so
01:28:58 this goes along with how we’re still
01:29:00 figuring things out. Um, and and Ben
01:29:03 helped us realize uh a mistake we made.
01:29:06 That is correct. And we appreciate it.
01:29:08 Thank you. All right, let’s move on to
01:29:10 the next thing.
01:29:12 All right, I will take up the shortest
01:29:16 group of scripture.
01:29:18 I’m joking. But it is presenter. Yeah, I
01:29:21 am. So Deuteronomy 31 10-13.
01:29:26 And Moshe commanded them saying at the
01:29:29 end of every seven years. Now this is
01:29:31 talking about the the land Sabbath and
01:29:34 freedom year of release.
01:29:37 Uh Jubilees or Yes.
01:29:39 Well, this is part of the Jubilees.
01:29:41 Yeah. Part of the Jubilee cycle. You’re
01:29:42 right. At the end of every seven years
01:29:45 in the semnity of the year of release in
01:29:49 the feast of tabernacles
01:29:51 when all Israel is come to appear before
01:29:54 Yahweh in the place which he shall
01:29:57 choose. Thou shalt read this law before
01:30:01 all Israel in their hearing. Gather the
01:30:04 people together, men, women, men and
01:30:08 women, and children, and thy stranger
01:30:10 that is within thy gates, that they may
01:30:13 hear, and that they may learn and fear
01:30:17 and observe to do all the words of this
01:30:19 law. Notice that he puts in and includes
01:30:23 the stranger because he doesn’t want he
01:30:27 really there is one law
01:30:30 one law
01:30:31 one law for Israel and for the stranger.
01:30:35 Yeah. And and
01:30:37 how well you determine the one law
01:30:40 determines the reward that you get.
01:30:42 Correct. In addition, I just wonder
01:30:44 there’s four groups of people there
01:30:48 and four goes with uh total
01:30:53 and it’s within thy gates.
01:30:54 And I would like to point one other
01:30:56 thing.
01:30:57 Yeah. Go ahead.
01:30:59 The law
01:31:01 was simple.
01:31:03 It was so simple
01:31:05 that a child of seven years old
01:31:10 could come to this gathering
01:31:13 Hebrews 7. They were allowed to come to
01:31:15 this gathering.
01:31:16 Yeah. So, Hebrews 7, Greek 8.
01:31:19 Yeah. So, a child of seven years old
01:31:22 could come to this gathering and begin
01:31:24 to receive an elementary understanding
01:31:27 of the law just by having it read every
01:31:31 seven years to him. They could
01:31:33 understand and do the basics of the law.
01:31:38 So, I’m sorry, I said that wrong. It’s
01:31:40 Hebrew 8, Greek 7. My bad.
01:31:44 Yeah. So, this is that. So, this the law
01:31:48 was simple.
01:31:49 Yeah.
01:31:50 The law is simple, easy to live, not so
01:31:55 much. And are there commandments that we
01:31:58 maybe forget about and have a hard time
01:32:00 living from time to time just because
01:32:03 they don’t seem that important to us?
01:32:06 Yes. But they are simple and easy to
01:32:09 understand so that even a child can keep
01:32:12 them. So are you saying not one of um
01:32:16 my mind went Yeshua in the New Testament
01:32:19 brought out in sermon on Torah or more
01:32:22 people know sermon on the mount that one
01:32:25 tit
01:32:27 not one
01:32:28 not one yield or one tit shall pass from
01:32:32 the law until all be fulfilled. And I
01:32:37 can tell you that there are there are
01:32:40 many things yet which have not been many
01:32:44 prophecies yet which have not been
01:32:46 fulfilled which are tied to the second
01:32:48 coming of Yeshua.
01:32:50 Correct?
01:32:51 Not all prophecies are tied to the
01:32:52 second coming of Yeshua. Don’t get me
01:32:54 wrong, but many are.
01:32:56 Yes.
01:32:58 And they have not yet been fulfilled.
01:33:00 They not You can’t put them in a You
01:33:03 can’t put them in a box saying cross
01:33:04 that one off. worry about that again.
01:33:07 Well, yeah, and I think there’s a
01:33:09 misunderstanding even on that part, but
01:33:12 that’s neither here or there. So, let’s
01:33:14 The point is is from reading these
01:33:16 scriptures, the law is simple, then even
01:33:19 children could live the law simply by
01:33:22 hearing it read to them every seven
01:33:26 years.
01:33:26 Correct?
01:33:27 If there’s a teacher that’s trying to
01:33:29 make it complicated, I would suggest you
01:33:32 find someone else. Okay.
01:33:33 Correct. Uh I’m going to read verse 12
01:33:36 again so we can read through uh 13.
01:33:38 Gather the people together, men, women
01:33:40 and children uh men and women and
01:33:43 children and thy stranger that it’s
01:33:44 within thy gates that they may hear.
01:33:46 Right? Four groups that they may hear
01:33:49 and that they may learn and fear
01:33:53 and observe to do all the words of this
01:33:56 law.
01:33:56 It’s interesting. There’s four four
01:33:59 groups named
01:34:00 and there’s four actions
01:34:03 that are listed there as well. I don’t
01:34:05 know if anyone else picked up on that.
01:34:07 Four groups, four actions,
01:34:10 fear and observe.
01:34:13 Fear, learn, fear and observe and do.
01:34:20 Observe to do. So one thing I would like
01:34:23 to bring out uh this uh verse gets
01:34:26 twisted for yearly parhas. It doesn’t
01:34:29 say read partly every week. It says read
01:34:34 the law. All the words of this law and
01:34:39 that their children which have not known
01:34:41 anything may hear and learn to fear.
01:34:47 as long as you live in the land whether
01:34:50 you go over Jordan to possess it. And it
01:34:53 was interesting as as I was preparing
01:34:55 and and Stephen was helping, he pointed
01:34:58 out something.
01:35:00 Jordan
01:35:03 is
01:35:05 the gateway or uh it’s the way into
01:35:11 the promised land.
01:35:12 And who baptized in Jordan?
01:35:15 John the Baptist. John the Baptist.
01:35:18 And who was baptized in Jordan?
01:35:21 Yes. Yes.
01:35:24 Uh but let’s You want to finish the
01:35:26 thought though?
01:35:26 Um well, but that that is the thought.
01:35:30 No, there was a little more.
01:35:31 Oh, I forgot.
01:35:32 The gate.
01:35:34 Oh, yeah.
01:35:34 To get Okay. You remember?
01:35:36 Uh no, no, no. I’m just
01:35:37 Okay.
01:35:38 The gate into heaven is water baptism.
01:35:42 So here is water just before the
01:35:46 promised land physically and it’s the
01:35:49 same even spiritually.
01:35:51 Yeah. Just like the crossing of the Red
01:35:53 Sea was symbolic of baptism and the
01:35:57 crossing of the Jordan on dry land with
01:36:00 the water stacked up on either side was
01:36:02 further symbolic of baptism.
01:36:05 Yeah. in the promised land rebaptism.
01:36:08 But anyway,
01:36:11 the um promised land uh goes with heaven
01:36:16 that’s promised those
01:36:17 right. Okay. All right.
01:36:20 And come under his covering. So, yes.
01:36:23 Well, and the the thing is is
01:36:28 Yeshua fulfilled all righteousness when
01:36:30 he was baptized.
01:36:33 Wait a minute. Does that mean I don’t
01:36:34 have to be baptized? No, what it means
01:36:37 what it means is that he fully taught
01:36:39 all righteousness when he was baptized.
01:36:40 If you’re not baptized, you are not
01:36:42 following in the way.
01:36:45 I agree with that. I was being a little
01:36:48 dork.
01:36:48 You’re playing devil’s advocate.
01:36:51 Yeah. Uh to support that, if you go look
01:36:53 at the Greek behind the word uh fulfill,
01:36:56 it’s playoo. And I do understand that uh
01:37:01 even the Greek words have multiple
01:37:02 meanings to them. If you look at the
01:37:04 context, it’s fully preached. Okay?
01:37:06 Right?
01:37:07 Because the same word is used
01:37:10 in the same context
01:37:14 by Yeshua to John the Baptist when he
01:37:17 says, “Suffer it to be so now
01:37:21 to fulfill all righteousness.”
01:37:23 Yeah.
01:37:24 To play all righteousness.
01:37:27 As in uh I believe that one was Matthew
01:37:30 3.
01:37:30 Yes. Ma that was Matthew 3. And then in
01:37:33 that same context,
01:37:35 I did not come to I did not come to
01:37:38 abolish the law, but to fulfill to play
01:37:41 to
01:37:43 which is uh Matthew 5.
01:37:45 Mhm.
01:37:46 Which is uh sadly controversial, which
01:37:50 it shouldn’t be because people claim
01:37:52 that fulfill means destroy, which he
01:37:54 just barely said it’s not that. So, so
01:37:58 your if your yes was saying I came not
01:38:00 to destroy but to destroy. Um well
01:38:06 I would
01:38:06 that certainly makes so much sense.
01:38:09 So either he’s a nutter or that word
01:38:11 doesn’t mean what you think it means.
01:38:13 Correct.
01:38:15 And I’ll testify it’s the latter.
01:38:18 Yeah. I mean, if you are saying that it
01:38:20 he is a nutter, you have a lot of
01:38:23 repenting to do because Yeshua is
01:38:26 anything far from a nut.
01:38:28 So, do you mean he didn’t turn to the
01:38:29 left or the right?
01:38:30 That is correct. He is unchanging in all
01:38:33 of his ways.
01:38:34 Okay, that clears up a lot actually.
01:38:36 Beautiful.
01:38:37 Yeah.
01:38:38 Thank you. You’re welcome. And I will
01:38:41 also say
01:38:44 that as the father
01:38:46 he revealed Torah,
01:38:49 as the son, he explained it.
01:38:52 Yes.
01:38:53 So those who didn’t catch it, uh, Ben’s
01:38:55 teaching modalism. Um, so as in he had
01:38:58 two modes, one of the father and one of
01:39:00 the son. So yeah, let’s move on to the
01:39:03 next book.
01:39:05 All right, Josh, pick us up in
01:39:07 Zechariah.
01:39:08 Okay. Zechariah 14:16-21.
01:39:12 Let’s do it. And it shall come to pass
01:39:15 that everyone that is left of all the
01:39:18 nations which came against Jerus
01:39:20 Jerusalem
01:39:22 shall even go up from year to year to
01:39:25 worship the king.
01:39:28 This is very this right here is evidence
01:39:30 of Torah is not against kings,
01:39:33 right?
01:39:34 Well, they worship the king, the Lord of
01:39:36 hosts, and to keep the feast of
01:39:38 tabernacles.
01:39:38 All right, stop just real quick. Okay,
01:39:41 so
01:39:43 this is another instance where Jerusalem
01:39:45 and Zion mean the same thing. This is
01:39:49 second coming prophecy here.
01:39:53 Yeah. Yeah. Um,
01:39:54 and the feast of tabernacles will still
01:39:56 be honored during those thou that
01:39:59 thousand-year reign.
01:40:01 I would go even a little further.
01:40:03 eternity.
01:40:06 There was that magic word in Leviticus.
01:40:09 Uh, forever.
01:40:16 That nasty dirty f word. That nasty
01:40:19 dirty f word. Forever.
01:40:21 Yeah, I know.
01:40:24 I mean, who wants to eat forever?
01:40:28 I don’t know.
01:40:28 Oh, there’s a that reminds me of a song.
01:40:32 But anyways,
01:40:35 may be long
01:40:38 forever. Anyways,
01:40:39 yeah.
01:40:40 Okay. So, just letting you know this is
01:40:43 second coming prophecy.
01:40:45 Okay.
01:40:46 And I I do understand King James puts
01:40:49 the actual word Jerusalem. I I do have a
01:40:52 translation myself that goes to the
01:40:54 meaning of the word, but it’s it it’s
01:40:56 pointing uh to Zion. So, right, we’ll
01:41:01 just leave that for now.
01:41:02 Okay. So, 17. And it shall be that whoso
01:41:07 will not
01:41:09 come up of all the families of the
01:41:11 earth.
01:41:12 Oh, wait, wait, wait a minute.
01:41:15 Is this just the bloodline of Abraham?
01:41:18 No, this is everyone of all the families
01:41:20 of the earth. That’s pretty clear.
01:41:24 Oh. Oh, I just Okay. Thank you for
01:41:26 clearing it up.
01:41:27 Yeah, you’re you’re welcome. Yeah. All
01:41:29 right, Stephen.
01:41:32 Unto where?
01:41:34 Yeah. Yeah. Uh, families of the earth,
01:41:36 unto Jerusalem
01:41:39 to worship the king, the Lord of hosts.
01:41:41 Even upon them
01:41:43 shall shall be no rain.
01:41:47 Okay. So, I’m just going to bring up uh
01:41:49 Jerusalem is foundation of peace. Okay.
01:41:52 Right. So uh if you don’t go onto the
01:41:56 foundation of peace and worship the
01:41:58 king, you will be punished.
01:42:01 Yeah. Yeah.
01:42:01 You will receive and rain is a common
01:42:05 symbol for revelation.
01:42:09 Yeah. So there is uh there’s the
01:42:11 physical level where they literally
01:42:13 won’t have rain as in their crops are
01:42:15 going to fail. But you also are not
01:42:18 going to receive revelation from Yahw um
01:42:22 if you don’t keep his commandments which
01:42:26 includes the feast days and specifically
01:42:30 tabernacles.
01:42:31 Tabernacles.
01:42:33 This is what we’re specifically speaking
01:42:35 about right now.
01:42:36 Specifically tabernacle. You’re
01:42:37 absolutely correct.
01:42:39 Right. Josh 18.
01:42:40 Yep. And if the family of Egypt go not
01:42:43 up and come not that have no rain, there
01:42:46 shall be there shall be the plague
01:42:49 wherewith
01:42:52 come up to keep the feast of
01:42:53 tabernacles.
01:42:55 So only if I’m the family Egypt do I
01:42:58 need to keep
01:42:58 all the families of the earth.
01:43:00 Wait a why is he bringing up Egypt?
01:43:05 I I will say it’s because they’re a
01:43:07 great example of what happens those who
01:43:10 fight against the ways of righteousness.
01:43:12 Yeah. Because because Pharaoh literally
01:43:16 fought against Yahwa.
01:43:18 Yeah. And including tried to keep them
01:43:21 from keeping the ways. And
01:43:24 Yahw through a mortal man, Moses said,
01:43:30 “Nope.
01:43:32 I’m gonna help those who want to keep it
01:43:34 keep it.
01:43:35 Yeah.
01:43:36 Yep.
01:43:36 And he showed forth his power and glory
01:43:40 through Moses.
01:43:42 That have no So here we could we could
01:43:46 actually sub substitute the singular
01:43:49 plague with the plural plagues.
01:43:52 Yeah.
01:43:52 Pointing us back to Egypt at the time of
01:43:55 the first Exodus.
01:43:57 Well, especially if you read verse 19.
01:43:59 Josh, read verse 19.
01:44:00 Right. Yeah. This shall be the
01:44:02 punishment of Egypt
01:44:05 and the punishment of all nations that
01:44:07 come not up to keep the feast of
01:44:10 tabernacles. So anybody who fights
01:44:12 against
01:44:14 Torah, anybody who fights against his
01:44:17 ways shall come under condemnation. Not
01:44:20 just condemnation but cursing.
01:44:23 So those who were reading verse uh those
01:44:26 who were reading verse 18, I think you
01:44:28 got it out from verse 17.
01:44:31 Uh 19
01:44:32 verse 19 cleared that up real quick.
01:44:35 Yeah. 19 confirms 17. Okay.
01:44:38 Yep.
01:44:39 And in that day shall there be upon the
01:44:42 bells of the horses holiness unto the
01:44:47 Lord unto Yahweh. And the pots in
01:44:49 Yahweh’s house shall be like the bulls
01:44:51 before the altar. Bulls. B O W Ls. Not B
01:44:55 U L Ls.
01:44:59 BS. Well, it sounds a lot alike when you
01:45:02 reading it out. So, I I I figured I
01:45:05 clarify that.
01:45:06 Absolutely.
01:45:09 Uh, yay. Every pot in Yalem and in Yoda
01:45:14 shall be holiness unto Yahweh.
01:45:28 Yeah. Oh, Yahweh. Okay. Yeah.
01:45:32 And all they that sacrifice shall come
01:45:34 and take of them and see therein. And in
01:45:39 that day there shall be no more the
01:45:41 Canaanite in the house of Yahweh Elohim.
01:45:47 But wait a minute. Here’s something
01:45:48 interesting. Go ahead.
01:45:49 All they that sacrifice shall come and
01:45:52 take up them and see therein.
01:45:55 the
01:45:58 all they that sacrifice
01:46:01 that is Levi that offers a sacrifice and
01:46:05 once again they will eat of the
01:46:07 offerings that they make. They will see
01:46:10 in the bowls of the temple,
01:46:13 right? And then in addition uh no more
01:46:16 Canaanites meaning there will only be
01:46:20 Israelites as in those who have wrestled
01:46:23 with Yahw and men and have overcome as
01:46:26 in sanctified
01:46:28 believers have been born again.
01:46:31 Therefore, they are no longer.
01:46:34 In in addition, uh in Ezekiel 40
01:46:38 through48, it brings out how no
01:46:41 non-believer
01:46:43 will get into the temple, which is going
01:46:45 the Canaanite represents a non-believer.
01:46:48 So, this is also going along with that
01:46:50 prophecy in Ezekiel 43:48. I don’t
01:46:54 remember the exact verse. Sorry.
01:46:55 Yeah, it’s on. But they are wonderful
01:46:58 chapters. I highly recommend that you
01:47:00 read them. Yes. Nice.
01:47:03 Oh, yeah. Yeah. Sorry.
01:47:06 All right. Nehemiah.
01:47:07 Ah, Nahhemia.
01:47:09 Yes. Nahhema. Ben, do you want to do
01:47:12 Nahhema 8 13-8? Just
01:47:16 No, you’re good. You’re good.
01:47:18 Nahhemia 8.
01:47:19 Mhm.
01:47:21 13-8.
01:47:22 Yep.
01:47:22 Okay.
01:47:27 And on the second day were gathered
01:47:29 together the chief of the fathers of all
01:47:31 the people, the priests and the Levites
01:47:34 unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand
01:47:37 the words of the law. They uh they found
01:47:42 written in Hatra
01:47:44 which Yah had had commanded by Moshe
01:47:48 that the that the children of Yashel
01:47:52 should dwell in boots the feast of the
01:47:55 seventh month going which month or month
01:47:59 seventh
01:48:00 not not one
01:48:02 not one not one two three four fiveus
01:48:06 12 no
01:48:07 some people get one and Seven kind of
01:48:10 mixed together.
01:48:15 Well, if you’re not careful about how
01:48:17 you write them, you could mistake one
01:48:19 for the other. I guess
01:48:20 an elongated one.
01:48:22 Yeah. True. True.
01:48:25 Raise your hand.
01:48:29 And that they should publish and
01:48:31 proclaim in all their cities. and in
01:48:34 Jerusalem saying in all their cities,
01:48:38 not just Jerusalem,
01:48:41 all of their cities.
01:48:43 H like it’s where he uh puts his
01:48:47 character, which never says one spot.
01:48:51 Yes.
01:48:52 No, never does.
01:48:53 Another proof that it’s not just one
01:48:55 spot. Go forth unto the mount
01:49:00 and fetch all the branches and pine
01:49:03 branches and myrtle branches and palm
01:49:06 branches and branches of thick trees to
01:49:09 make boots. That is as it is written.
01:49:12 So the people went forth and brought
01:49:15 them and made themselves boos, everyone
01:49:18 upon the roof of his house, and in their
01:49:21 courts, and in the courts of the house
01:49:23 of Elohim, and in the street of the
01:49:26 Watergate, and in the street of the gate
01:49:28 of Ephraim, and all the congregation of
01:49:31 them that were come again out of cap out
01:49:34 of the captivity made booths.
01:49:37 Okay. Um hopefully that’s a good spot. I
01:49:39 I was trying to stop earlier. Sometimes
01:49:42 I’m not the best with pauses, but in
01:49:44 verse 15, there’s five groupings of
01:49:50 branches.
01:49:50 Branches. Trees.
01:49:52 Yep.
01:49:54 Uh considering trees represent humans,
01:49:57 could that be talking about mortality?
01:50:00 Oh, yeah. Especially
01:50:01 that is a very good possibility. Yeah,
01:50:04 maybe.
01:50:06 Yeah.
01:50:08 uh which is the time we have to uh
01:50:11 repent and come to Yahweh.
01:50:13 Exactly.
01:50:13 Right. Which goes along with what the
01:50:16 continual burning has to deal with.
01:50:18 Yeah.
01:50:18 Here’s
01:50:21 And here’s a really interesting thing
01:50:23 from verse 17.
01:50:24 Okay.
01:50:26 If we’re done, if we’ve said what we
01:50:29 want to say about that.
01:50:30 Yeah. Yeah. Keep going.
01:50:32 For since the days of Yeshua, the son of
01:50:36 Nun, unto that day had not the children
01:50:40 of Yashel.
01:50:43 Those who say that Israel had ever tried
01:50:46 to live the law missed this verse. Right
01:50:51 now, I also want to bring out uh this
01:50:53 brings out how Joshua, the son of Nun,
01:50:56 and Yeshua
01:50:58 uh the son of Joseph
01:51:01 um has the same name.
01:51:04 Yes. Yes.
01:51:05 Right. So,
01:51:06 so this is another reason why um when
01:51:10 sacred namers say that Yeshua is not the
01:51:13 right name, they don’t know what they’re
01:51:14 talking about. It’s referenced in the
01:51:18 later in the later in the later scribes
01:51:20 and the later prophets that that the
01:51:24 person who they call Yahosua the son of
01:51:26 Nun, he’s called Yeshua the son of Dun
01:51:29 and that is the same person. So yeah,
01:51:33 considering that they only make an issue
01:51:35 of Yeshua’s name and not Joshua’s, kind
01:51:38 of shows they don’t know what they’re
01:51:39 talking about. Now I I do know they’re
01:51:42 the same, but I do have a habit of still
01:51:44 calling Joshua Joshua. So
01:51:46 yeah, anyways.
01:51:47 Well, it does help to differentiate
01:51:49 between him and the redeemer, though he
01:51:50 was a re a redeemer of the promise,
01:51:53 as in a pattern of three types of
01:51:56 prophets. Um, messenger, preparer, and
01:51:59 redeemer.
01:52:00 And look at the end of 17. This is the
01:52:02 promise that comes from living
01:52:06 tabernacles. There was very great
01:52:09 gladness.
01:52:12 Yeah. And and FYI, uh Joseph Smith at a
01:52:15 wedding quoting I think it’s Psalms I’d
01:52:18 have to double check on this one that uh
01:52:20 wine uh makes the heart glad.
01:52:24 Yes.
01:52:24 Yes.
01:52:25 Which points to the atonement and joy.
01:52:28 Right.
01:52:29 Read 18 then. also day by day from the
01:52:33 first day onto the last day. He read in
01:52:36 the book of in the book of Elohim
01:52:42 and they kept the feast seven days and
01:52:46 on the eighth day was solemn assembly
01:52:49 according onto
01:52:50 to the manner. Now
01:52:52 I I want to add this real quick for
01:52:54 those who don’t think their kids would
01:52:56 like to celebrate tabernacles. What kid
01:53:00 doesn’t want 7/8 days of parties
01:53:05 and feasting and being with their
01:53:08 extended family?
01:53:10 Um,
01:53:12 I I’ll tell you my kids like these days.
01:53:16 I I I have to say that even though I
01:53:20 have even though there’s been a falling
01:53:21 out with my mother’s family in recent
01:53:25 years when I was growing up, I really
01:53:28 looked forward to when we got together
01:53:30 with them
01:53:31 and we were able to spend
01:53:33 time together. And so why why
01:53:39 do we struggle with this idea of
01:53:42 gathering together for the feasts of ya?
01:53:48 I would say false traditions of men.
01:53:51 Yeah. I was going to say for the same
01:53:53 reason that we have a hard time obeying
01:53:56 the law.
01:53:58 Yeah.
01:53:59 False traditions.
01:54:01 Yeah. Yeah. and fear of men over Yahweh.
01:54:05 It’s also like it’s more excuses to
01:54:09 celebrate Yeshua.
01:54:11 Yeah.
01:54:12 Right.
01:54:12 Mhm. Yeah. The problem is is that people
01:54:15 have been trained the
01:54:18 Christian training
01:54:20 is that
01:54:23 these days don’t celebrate Yeshua. They
01:54:25 celebrate Jewishness.
01:54:28 it. They can’t show Ben and I a verse
01:54:31 that actually says that. Yeah. It’s The
01:54:34 scriptures say they’re Yahweh’s
01:54:36 holidays, not a particular group of
01:54:39 people’s holidays.
01:54:42 The scriptures never once say that these
01:54:44 holidays belong only to the Jewish
01:54:46 people. In fact, all almost all of the
01:54:50 scriptures that iterate one law shall be
01:54:56 for the naturalb born of Israel and for
01:54:59 the stranger that is within thy gates.
01:55:01 Those all the scriptures which state
01:55:03 this are in connection to high holidays.
01:55:08 Yeah, I cur remind me. I know my memory
01:55:10 can be a little short, but didn’t
01:55:12 Zachchariah that we just read a little
01:55:14 bit say all the earth, not just the uh
01:55:18 little descendants of Abraham.
01:55:20 Yes. Yes. Every every family uh upon the
01:55:25 earth, I think, or something to that
01:55:27 effect. Yes.
01:55:28 So, I I guess my memor is not too bad on
01:55:30 that point. I guess now
01:55:33 everything was maybe
01:55:36 I did I mean it was just a week away so
01:55:39 that’s
01:55:41 so Stephen you wanted to talk about John
01:55:45 so I want you to go ahead and read John
01:55:48 chapter 2 through10 interrupt yourself
01:55:51 you can interrupt yourself to your
01:55:53 heart’s content I might interrupt you
01:55:54 but you you go
01:55:57 now I so
01:56:02 It seems like it’s going against
01:56:03 something we just said, but we got to
01:56:05 remember uh who this uh John letter
01:56:09 is this really John 2 or is this first
01:56:12 John 2 or
01:56:13 No, this is John St. John 2.
01:56:16 Okay. Okay. 2 through 10 because I’ve
01:56:18 got to both Jesus was called and his
01:56:21 disciples to the marriage.
01:56:23 Okay. So, I’m okay. Y might be first.
01:56:27 John, it might be first.
01:56:34 Oh, yes.
01:56:36 Oh, I wasn’t quite ready. Sorry, guys.
01:56:40 All right. Well, uh, we had to do a
01:56:43 slight edit on the slide cuz I put the
01:56:46 wrong chapter like a genius. It’s
01:56:49 actually John chapter 7:es 2-10. So,
01:56:51 Stephen, if you could take it away.
01:56:53 Yeah. Uh, now the Jews feast of
01:56:56 tabernacles was at hand. So now this may
01:57:00 look like it’s going against what we
01:57:02 said earlier, but keep in mind this
01:57:05 letter was written to Greeks. Um, and in
01:57:10 the Greeks mind, the Jews were Yahweh’s
01:57:13 people. Okay. Um so
01:57:18 at at times there’s descriptive uh
01:57:22 elements in the scriptures and not
01:57:23 prescriptive
01:57:25 which means this is how it’s supposed to
01:57:27 be. Okay. So it’s describing it how the
01:57:31 Greeks thought about it which ironically
01:57:35 considering that the whole world has a
01:57:37 Greek mindset right now is still that’s
01:57:40 how the world thinks of it.
01:57:42 Mhm. And it’s um it’s a descriptive way
01:57:45 of saying it, not a prescriptive or the
01:57:48 way it should be. Okay. So verse three,
01:57:51 his brethren therefore said unto him,
01:57:55 Depart hence and go into Judea, that thy
01:57:58 disciples also may see the works that
01:58:00 thou doest. For there is no man that
01:58:04 doeth anything in secret.
01:58:07 Wait a minute. and he himself seeth to
01:58:11 know openly. So let’s bring out how you
01:58:14 can’t hide anything from Yahweh. Okay.
01:58:17 Right.
01:58:18 Thou do these things. Show thyself to
01:58:21 the world. Oh, this sounds like sermon
01:58:23 on Torah to
01:58:25 Yeah. Oh, don’t hide your light under a
01:58:28 bushel.
01:58:29 Hide it under a bush.
01:58:31 Shine. The
01:58:32 the main thing that we have to bear in
01:58:34 mind, however, is that this is his
01:58:36 brethren talking to him. And they’re
01:58:39 telling him, “Make yourself known as the
01:58:43 Messiah,
01:58:45 right?” Um, oh, okay. So, uh, it wasn’t
01:58:49 time yet. Um, which would be going on
01:58:51 there, but let’s see what goes on. Uh,
01:58:54 for neither did his brethren believe in
01:58:56 him,
01:58:56 right?
01:58:58 Came unto his own, and his own received
01:58:59 him not. Then Yeshua said unto them, “My
01:59:02 time is not yet come, but your time is
01:59:06 already
01:59:09 ready. The world cannot hate you, but me
01:59:12 it hateth, because I testify of it that
01:59:16 the works thereof are evil. Go ye up
01:59:19 unto the feast,
01:59:21 unto this feast,
01:59:22 unto this feast, and go not unto yet
01:59:25 unto this feast, for my time is not yet
01:59:29 full come.” And later um it does bring
01:59:33 out how Yeshua does go to it. Okay.
01:59:36 When he said these words unto him, he
01:59:38 abide still in Galilee. But when his
01:59:41 brother Oh, it’s going to say it here.
01:59:42 And when his brother had gone up,
01:59:45 then went he also unto the feast, not
01:59:48 openly, but as it were in secret. So he
01:59:50 he kept the commandments, but it wasn’t
01:59:52 time to tell the world he was the
01:59:54 Messiah. Correct.
01:59:55 Right. Right. Right. Right.
01:59:58 So once again though, uh I I do like
02:00:02 when when I teach the high holidays, I
02:00:05 like to pull references
02:00:08 that teach uh from multiple sources that
02:00:12 teach about
02:00:15 what that state that it actually
02:00:17 happened. And the feast of tabernacles
02:00:20 definitely happened.
02:00:22 So here’s
02:00:23 during his time.
02:00:24 So here’s an interesting thing. And they
02:00:26 go to great lengths to make sure that
02:00:28 you understand that he did go up for the
02:00:31 feast of tabernacles.
02:00:34 As in uh he was the lamb without
02:00:37 blemish.
02:00:38 Blemish or spot which is sin. That’s
02:00:42 right. Keeping his father’s he was
02:00:45 keeping the father’s law.
02:00:47 Right.
02:00:49 Right.
02:00:50 Yep. Is it if if Yeshua was as the
02:00:55 Christians represent him defiant of the
02:00:59 law and setting it at not
02:01:03 he would not have gone to tabernacles
02:01:07 and they would not have made such great
02:01:09 lengths to make sure that we understood
02:01:11 that he did.
02:01:13 Now uh I will just clarify not all
02:01:15 Christians say that some Christians say
02:01:17 it’s after the cross that went away and
02:01:20 not before. So that there’s confusion,
02:01:23 but I do agree with Ben that for him to
02:01:27 be able to perform the atonement, he had
02:01:30 to keep Torah
02:01:33 perfectly cuz otherwise he would have to
02:01:36 pay
02:01:37 the consequence or sin wages
02:01:43 um which is death himself. Um, and so he
02:01:47 would never be able to break the bonds
02:01:49 of death
02:01:51 because he would had to pay it for
02:01:53 himself. But the reason that he could
02:01:55 break it is because he did not have to
02:01:58 pay it for himself.
02:02:00 Yes.
02:02:00 Right.
02:02:01 Correct.
02:02:02 Meaning he kept tabernacles is what is
02:02:04 going on here. Okay.
02:02:05 Yes.
02:02:06 Next one.
02:02:06 Yes.
02:02:08 Oh, maybe.
02:02:10 And we are Book of Mormon. Here we go.
02:02:15 in preparation for uh King Benjamin’s
02:02:18 epic address in which he talks about
02:02:22 the Messiah and he talks about him
02:02:25 becoming coming coming down in the
02:02:27 tabernacle of flesh. Now I don’t have
02:02:29 that part of the sermon here. But what I
02:02:33 want to focus on is
02:02:37 there are certain things that I want to
02:02:38 focus on. And uh I’m going to read this
02:02:41 last slide. This is the last slide. If
02:02:44 you’ve made it this far, thank you for
02:02:46 staying with us because this for me has
02:02:49 been an absolute honor and privilege to
02:02:52 learn about this uh high holiday. So
02:02:54 without further ado, I will go ahead and
02:02:56 start reading Mosaiah chapter 2:es 1-8.
02:02:59 And it came to pass that after Mosiah
02:03:01 had done as his father had commanded
02:03:03 him, which King Benjamin told Mosiah to
02:03:05 write a letter to all the land telling
02:03:07 them to come up to the temple because he
02:03:10 wanted to make a an announcement. He
02:03:13 wanted to make public knowledge that
02:03:14 Mosiah was now to be the king. Uh and
02:03:18 and had made a proclamation throughout
02:03:20 all the land that the people gathered
02:03:22 themselves together throughout all the
02:03:24 land that they might go up to the temple
02:03:26 to hear the words which King Benjamin
02:03:29 should speak unto them.
02:03:31 And there was and there were a great
02:03:34 number, even so many that did not that
02:03:38 they did not number them. for they had
02:03:40 multiplied exceedingly and waxed great
02:03:42 in the land. Now, these people that
02:03:45 they’re talking about, these people are
02:03:50 of the tribe of Manasse, which is of the
02:03:53 tribe of Joseph,
02:03:56 the children of Lehi.
02:03:59 And they also took of the first things
02:04:02 of their flocks
02:04:04 that they might offer sacrifice and
02:04:06 burnt offerings according to the law of
02:04:08 Moses. So, this is something that’s
02:04:10 really cool here because this is t
02:04:13 showing that people would take of their
02:04:16 own things and uh take of their own
02:04:20 lambs and donate to the Levites in the
02:04:24 temple that burnt offerings could be
02:04:27 made according to the law of Moses.
02:04:30 Yeah. Now, I do want to say one thing
02:04:32 about the law of Moses. law Moses is
02:04:34 Torah
02:04:36 plus a punishment that happened at Sinai
02:04:39 which is primarily the two lambs. So uh
02:04:43 although it says law of Moses here, law
02:04:45 of Moses is includes Torah.
02:04:48 Mhm. Um and the law the Moses part or
02:04:53 the punishment part is the two daily
02:04:56 lambs uh with a few other little
02:04:59 offerings also uh on other days. And so
02:05:04 this includes Torah is not exclusively
02:05:08 Torah if that makes sense. Correct.
02:05:11 Right.
02:05:12 and also that they might give thanks to
02:05:14 Yahweh Elohu, who had brought them out
02:05:18 of the land of Jerusalem, and who had
02:05:21 delivered them out of the hands of their
02:05:22 enemies, and had appointed just men to
02:05:25 be their teachers, and also a just man
02:05:27 to be their king, who had established
02:05:30 peace in the land of Zerahhemla, and who
02:05:32 had taught them to keep the commandments
02:05:34 of Elohim, that they might rejoice and
02:05:37 be filled with love towards Elohim and
02:05:40 all men. Now I think this is really
02:05:42 important because this is the same way
02:05:45 that in um the new translation of
02:05:49 Genesis Melkisedc is described.
02:05:53 Yes.
02:05:54 Established peace in the land of Salem
02:05:58 and taught them to keep the way the
02:06:00 commandments of God, the ways of
02:06:02 righteousness.
02:06:03 Yeah. Uh because there’s a lot of
02:06:05 misunderstanding of what a peacemaker
02:06:08 is. I will say
02:06:11 This is those who establish peace and
02:06:14 teach it to others such that they can
02:06:18 know where to receive peace themselves.
02:06:20 It’s not a peacekeeper
02:06:22 that gets pushed around nowadays.
02:06:25 Right. Well, I I something that I just
02:06:29 saw here,
02:06:31 right? If we keep So, they he taught
02:06:33 them to keep the commandments of Elohim.
02:06:35 And if we keep the commandments of
02:06:37 Elohim,
02:06:39 that’s where we find joy.
02:06:42 That’s where we are filled with love for
02:06:46 Elohim and all men
02:06:50 of it.
02:06:52 So that sounds like if you love me,
02:06:56 keep my commandments.
02:06:59 Oh yeah. And who said that?
02:07:02 Oh, wait. uh Yeshua like 50 million
02:07:04 times
02:07:07 specifically in John 14:15.
02:07:09 Right. Right. But
02:07:10 50 million times in that one chapter.
02:07:12 But anyway, yeah. Anyways,
02:07:14 I did this on purpose or accident. The
02:07:17 50 points to the law.
02:07:19 Yeah,
02:07:22 it was by accident. But yes,
02:07:25 it was totally either accident.
02:07:27 It was a very happy accident.
02:07:29 No. to notice what’s about to happen.
02:07:34 Yeah. Notice what’s about to happen
02:07:36 here. And it came to pass that when they
02:07:38 came up to the temple, they pitched
02:07:41 their tents round about, every man
02:07:44 according to his family, consisting of
02:07:46 his wife, await, and his sons and his
02:07:48 daughters and their sons and their
02:07:50 daughters, from the eldest down to the
02:07:52 youngest, every family being separate
02:07:55 one from another. Are are are you
02:07:57 suggesting a tent could be translated to
02:08:01 as a
02:08:02 Yes.
02:08:03 as a booth?
02:08:03 As a or a tabernacle?
02:08:06 Yes.
02:08:06 Or a booth.
02:08:07 Booth.
02:08:08 Yes.
02:08:09 I wholeheartedly agree.
02:08:12 I figured you would. And it’s like
02:08:15 flying.
02:08:17 And they pitched their tents round about
02:08:19 the temple, every man having his tent
02:08:21 with the door thereof towards the
02:08:23 temple, that thereby they might remain
02:08:26 in their tents, and hear the words which
02:08:29 King Benjamin should speak unto them.
02:08:31 Now, King Benjamin does teach about
02:08:35 the law, but he teaches them about
02:08:39 Yeshua
02:08:41 and his coming ministry also.
02:08:45 So, he didn’t say uh follow me.
02:08:47 No,
02:08:48 he said follow Yeshua.
02:08:50 He said follow Yeshua. And the only way
02:08:52 you can do that Oh, wait. Verse four
02:08:55 holds the key. keep the commandments of
02:08:58 Elohim
02:09:00 so you can be filled with love towards
02:09:02 Elohim and all men.
02:09:05 So it’s like he kind of follow the
02:09:06 pattern of John the Baptist how John
02:09:09 said he would decrease and their
02:09:12 relationship with the Messiah would
02:09:14 increase. He didn’t John didn’t try to
02:09:17 keep them dependent upon him, did they?
02:09:18 No, did he?
02:09:19 No. As a matter of fact,
02:09:21 he sent them to follow He sent his
02:09:24 followers to follow Yoshua. He’s like
02:09:26 similar time’s over. Go with him. And
02:09:30 similarly, King Benjamin with these
02:09:32 people
02:09:36 gets them to the point where they have
02:09:39 that
02:09:42 powerful born again experience with the
02:09:45 Holy Spirit that renders them in that
02:09:49 place that puts them in that place of
02:09:51 joy
02:09:53 and that makes them no longer dependent
02:09:56 upon him.
02:09:59 for they understand the joy of their
02:10:02 redeemer,
02:10:03 right?
02:10:04 And
02:10:06 they’re filled with the desire to keep
02:10:08 his commandments. And I I do believe
02:10:10 it’s stated that none of that generation
02:10:13 was lost.
02:10:14 Yes. I think that’s in was that six if I
02:10:18 remember correctly.
02:10:19 Yes.
02:10:20 For the multitude being so great. And
02:10:22 this is one of the amazing things.
02:10:26 The multitude was so great that King
02:10:29 Benjamin could not teach them all within
02:10:31 the walls of the temple. Therefore, he
02:10:32 caused a tower to be erected that
02:10:34 thereby his people might hear the words
02:10:37 which he should speak unto them. So, I
02:10:40 do want to bring out one thing. So, what
02:10:43 were these groups including?
02:10:46 Was it children?
02:10:48 Yes.
02:10:48 Yes.
02:10:48 Yeah.
02:10:49 So, children inside the temple. Oh my
02:10:54 gosh. You’re not ins you’re not
02:10:56 insisting that you don’t have to be 12.
02:10:59 Yes, I am.
02:11:00 Oh my gosh, I agree.
02:11:05 Um, the temples in the Book of Mormon
02:11:09 and the Bible are not like brigamite LDS
02:11:12 temples is what I’m getting at Torah.
02:11:15 They’re not from necessarily exclusive.
02:11:20 And from Torah, we can gather that these
02:11:22 children were from
02:11:24 Greek 7, Hebrew 8 and up
02:11:29 because this would have been in the
02:11:32 seventh year.
02:11:35 So I I do believe they would take
02:11:38 children younger than that. But the ones
02:11:40 that would have been covenanted to be
02:11:42 there.
02:11:43 Yeah. Yeah, that’s true. Because you
02:11:44 might be you might be you might have
02:11:47 just been born that year.
02:11:48 Yeah. There is uh logistic issues
02:11:52 with everybody.
02:11:55 Sorry dear
02:11:57 fine
02:11:59 because you have an inant you cannot be
02:12:01 in the temple
02:12:02 suddenly
02:12:05 and you come back and you find that your
02:12:07 your onemon-old is suddenly erected a
02:12:10 preschool lord of the flies if you
02:12:12 suddenly
02:12:16 the bringing out yes it’s the covenant
02:12:19 at 8 Hebrews Greek 7 but there is some
02:12:23 logistic things um infants,
02:12:26 but they’re not really going to like
02:12:27 infants
02:12:28 leave their infants behind. You’re
02:12:29 right. So, but yeah, and you don’t know
02:12:32 in when in that seventh year if somebody
02:12:34 was born. So,
02:12:36 Right.
02:12:36 Well, and and then there’s toddlers,
02:12:39 too. I mean, toddlers, you can’t leave
02:12:41 them behind necessarily,
02:12:42 but in that Yeah, that’s that’s kind of
02:12:44 what I’m saying. You don’t know when in
02:12:46 that sevenyear span somebody was born,
02:12:48 but if they’re alive in that seventh
02:12:49 year, you got to take them with you
02:12:51 because otherwise that’s
02:12:53 Well, that’s their covenant year. That’s
02:12:55 their covenant year. Yeah.
02:12:56 But the the celebration where you’re
02:12:59 together for tabernacles is every year.
02:13:02 Mhm.
02:13:03 Yeah. Yeah, that’s true.
02:13:04 I I think you’re getting a little
02:13:06 confused with some of the
02:13:09 Yeah. Now, the main thing that I’m the
02:13:12 Yeah. The reading of the law is on the
02:13:15 seventh year. And he’s not really
02:13:17 reading the law so much as he’s teaching
02:13:20 them about
02:13:21 Yeshua,
02:13:22 that which makes the law efficacious to
02:13:24 us for anything besides damnation.
02:13:27 Correct.
02:13:27 Right.
02:13:28 Yes.
02:13:29 Correct.
02:13:30 And it came to pass that he began to
02:13:32 speak to his people from the tower, and
02:13:34 they could not all hear his words
02:13:36 because of the greatness of the
02:13:37 multitude. Therefore, he caused that the
02:13:40 words which he spake should be written
02:13:42 and sent forth among those that were not
02:13:44 under the sound of his voice, that they
02:13:47 might also receive his words. These
02:13:51 words are so important and the words are
02:13:55 Yeshua is
02:13:58 your savior and your redeemer.
02:14:02 He is the lamb without blemish.
02:14:07 He is the one who will bring you joy
02:14:12 if you repent
02:14:14 and he will tabernacle
02:14:18 in flesh.
02:14:21 Yes. So um Mosaiah 2 through5 goes
02:14:26 through the themes of tabernacles and
02:14:30 yes there is an obvious one of sukot
02:14:33 tent tabernacle booth. Um it’s the same
02:14:37 thing just a different word. Okay.
02:14:39 Yeah.
02:14:39 Right.
02:14:40 So uh this is the last bit of that. I
02:14:46 just want to go ahead guys and just let
02:14:49 you know that this has been
02:14:53 an absolute honor and privilege to be
02:14:55 able to teach uh about
02:15:00 sukkot about the feast of tabernacles.
02:15:04 Um
02:15:07 I’ve gained a greater appreciation for
02:15:09 what Yeshua has done. Um, and I look
02:15:13 forward to the opportunity to be able
02:15:17 to
02:15:19 go out in rejoicing
02:15:22 and welcome home uh, welcome
02:15:26 to this earth my savior and redeemer
02:15:30 and dwell with him
02:15:35 when he comes again,
02:15:38 which is what tabernacles is all about.
02:15:41 dwelling with Yeshua, walking with
02:15:44 Yeshua, and being with him. And uh I
02:15:49 just want to say these things in the
02:15:51 name of Yeshua, the Messiah.
02:15:54 And
02:15:56 I will uh give opportunities to give uh
02:16:01 closing remarks to anybody else who
02:16:03 wishes to give them.
02:16:04 Okay. So I really just want to say that
02:16:07 um
02:16:09 this is a joyous season. We have been we
02:16:14 have gathered together here in our
02:16:18 temporary dwelling place which we pay
02:16:20 for monthtomonth. We are uh and we are
02:16:24 all we are all overjoyed to be together
02:16:28 and we are we are grateful for this
02:16:32 opportunity. We’ve rebaptized. We’ve
02:16:36 been rebaptized. We’ve recommitted
02:16:38 ourselves to living the law, to walking
02:16:41 in his footsteps.
02:16:43 We we uh the we are feasting. We are
02:16:48 celebrating. We’re having a good time.
02:16:51 We are enjoying the fat of the land. And
02:16:54 we are doing so because Ya promised us
02:17:01 that we could
02:17:03 if we would but
02:17:07 keep his Sabbaths and be his people.
02:17:13 Why don’t you guys choose? Why don’t you
02:17:15 guys choose to be his people
02:17:19 so that he can cause you to walk in
02:17:23 green pastures
02:17:26 to eat of the fat of the land.
02:17:29 Be the meek so that you may inherit the
02:17:34 earth with Yeshua our redeemer
02:17:38 who tabernacles with us.
02:17:45 So, one thing I’ll just add real quick
02:17:47 is if you don’t want to be like the
02:17:49 Messiah
02:17:51 Yeshua today
02:17:55 and you don’t want to be around the
02:17:56 people that are striving to be like him
02:17:59 today as first John brings out, you’re
02:18:02 not going to want to do that uh in the
02:18:05 next stage of life. So if you think you
02:18:08 don’t want it here and you want it
02:18:09 there, you’re deceiving yourself.
02:18:13 Um I highly recommend
02:18:17 that
02:18:19 come under his covering and become like
02:18:22 him. Show him,
02:18:25 don’t just say it. Show him that you
02:18:28 love him by keeping his commandments as
02:18:32 he stated
02:18:34 to the believers. and how to show their
02:18:37 love for him. It wasn’t by professing it
02:18:40 by their mouth.
02:18:41 Yeah,
02:18:42 it was by doing. And interestingly
02:18:47 enough,
02:18:49 love is shown by choice after choice
02:18:53 after choice.
02:18:56 Real love is shown that way, not lust.
02:19:00 Lust is shown by words.
02:19:03 Love is shown by actions.
02:19:09 You know, it’s an interesting thing is a
02:19:11 Yeshua.
02:19:13 Um, you know, he says, “If you love me,
02:19:15 keep my commandments.” And what he’s
02:19:17 meaning here is, “If you choose me.”
02:19:19 Yeah.
02:19:20 If you choose me, you’ll keep my
02:19:21 commandments.
02:19:22 Because in the Hebrew definition of
02:19:25 love,
02:19:26 love
02:19:28 is choosing someone. Hating someone is
02:19:32 choosing someone else.
02:19:38 Stop hating Yeshua.
02:19:41 Choose him.
02:19:43 Amen.
