Torah in Sermon on the Mount / Torah

The Sermon on Torah, or more commonly known as Sermon on the Mount, is Yeshua / Jesus teaching everyone how we are to keep Torah.

Below are verses from the Sermon on Torah / the Mount along with the teaching from the five books of Moses and the rest of the Tanak / Old Testament. (More verses will be added as time permits.)

Matthew (JST 5:21) (KJV 5:19) Whosoever, therefore, shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so to do [sin], he shall be called the least in no wise be saved in the kingdom of heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them these commandments of the law [Torah] until it be fulfilled [fully taught to / fully understood / faith], the same shall be called great, and shall be saved in the kingdom of heaven.

BB is perfect [sanctified / keeping Torah fully].

  • 1 Kings 8:61 Let your heart therefore be perfect with the Lord [YHWH] our God [Elohim], to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.
  • Genesis 17:1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
  • 1 Kings 15:3
    • KJV 1 Kings 15:3 And he walked in all the sins of his [Solomon] father [David], which he had done before him: and his heart was not perfect with the Lord [YHWH] his God [Elohenu], as the heart of David his father.
    • JST 1 Kings 15:3 And he walked in all the sins of his father, which he had done before him; and his heart was not perfect with the Lord [YHWH], his God [Elohenu], as the Lord [YHWH] commanded David, his father.

Matthew (JST 7:30)(KJV 7:21) Verily I say unto you, it is not everyone that saith unto me, Lord [YHWH], Lord [YHWH], that shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which who is in heaven.

    30 Who am I [YHWH] that made man, saith the Lord [YHWH], that will hold him [wicked] guiltless [because of sin] that obeys not my commandments [breaks Torah]? [Rhetorical question bringing out that those who sin will be punished.]
