00:01:30 he is which is what the word of god is

00:01:38 do they speak the the holy ghost or the
00:01:42 words of christ
00:01:44 that this right here goes into if we and
00:01:47 we can

00:01:49 chiasm
00:01:51 right through here um that
00:01:54 ties the holy ghost to the word of
00:01:57 christ
00:01:58 or the word of christ that’s the same
00:02:01 thing
00:02:01 wherefore i said unto you feast upon the
00:02:04 words of christ they didn’t say his face
00:02:06 that’s my understanding of the
00:02:08 commandments was where they’re the words
00:02:09 of christ the words of
00:02:11 god or or you know and we should feast
00:02:14 on them that’s
00:02:15 that’s kind of what my understanding of
00:02:17 the commandments were
00:02:20 whatever
00:02:28 but in essence i would call the same
00:02:31 because
00:02:32 the scriptures or the command and or the
00:02:34 commandments are teaching us how to be
00:02:36 like

00:02:41 for behold the words of christ will tell

00:03:52 it’s you know doing everything it’s you

00:03:57 the temple recommend questions that’s
00:03:59 the commandments

00:04:33 priesthood leader

00:04:37 going to keep god’s commandments and
00:04:38 they did that by
00:04:39 you know burying their swords
00:04:43 and when helaman saw that they were
00:04:46 going to
00:04:46 break that covenant that they made
00:04:48 without a priesthood leader
00:04:51 he said don’t do that
00:04:54 we’ll fight but wait a minute
00:04:59 no priesthood leader they’re lamanites
00:05:06 it’s the covenant it’s
00:05:09 that matters yeah even when god
00:05:12 tell told elma the younger
00:05:17 no elder sorry when alma the younger

00:05:20 when they left the group and they still
00:05:22 had to go through some trials
00:05:24 right which god helped them through it
00:05:28 fast quickly right of

00:05:35 all consequences go away right away that

00:05:39 in the book of mormon that shows us
00:05:41 that’s not the case not the case yeah

00:05:44 they still had to fill some of the
00:05:45 consequences but he took
00:05:47 god yahweh took it away faster
00:05:51 because they kept the commandments but
00:05:52 they still had to go through it for a
00:05:54 while
00:05:55 um but anyways god
00:05:59 said they acknowledged what
00:06:03 he acknowledged the covenant that they
00:06:05 made not the baptism
00:06:06 it was the covenant the covenant is a
00:06:10 witness
00:06:10 and i have a post i’m working on this

00:06:14 cool um it’s the covenant that matters
00:06:19 that the sacrament prayers that we just
00:06:21 read you know what was the covenant that
00:06:23 we made
00:06:23 to keep his commandments that’s the one
00:06:26 covenant
00:06:27 to keep his commandments and i would add
00:06:29 with a broken heart and a contrite
00:06:30 spirit
00:06:31 right right um but
00:06:35 those two terms are are hebrew idioms
00:06:38 for repentance and when
00:06:39 we what do we do when we repent we go
00:06:40 back to the law yes
00:06:43 what’s the law it’s his commandments
00:06:45 it’s all about his commandments
00:06:46 it’s about becoming like him and his
00:06:48 commandments teach us to be like him
00:06:51 be like him do what he does yeah to
00:06:54 follow him
00:06:55 follow means imitate how do you imitate
00:06:57 him unless you’re doing
00:06:59 what he did what he did the only place
00:07:02 in the
00:07:03 in the bible i’ve been able to find
00:07:06 broken heart and contrite spirit is
00:07:08 psalms 51.

00:16:05 that they put into it to get the
00:16:07 just the text um
00:16:13 so i’m trying to
00:16:18 find where i put where it’s located and
00:16:21 i can

00:21:43 that was pretty cool the probably the
00:21:45 hardest part was extracting the html
00:21:48 from the from what they put in their
00:21:50 databases so i can just search
00:21:52 just the text and not the other things

00:37:57 christ it’s a rock we’re covered by his

00:38:11 fell not for it was founded upon a rock

00:52:34 and to repent then doing some things

00:52:42 and among other things and teaching
00:52:43 against the doctrine
00:52:45 in the book of mormon i do think
00:52:48 joseph smith was overzealous in trying
00:52:50 to set up zion in his day
00:52:53 just like zenith being overzealous to
00:52:56 him
00:52:58 inherit the land of our fathers zion
00:53:02 oh interesting collected as many as were
00:53:05 desirous to go up to possess
00:53:06 the land and start it again our journey
00:53:09 into the wilderness to go on the land
00:53:11 but we’re smitten with famine sore
00:53:14 afflictions
00:53:16 and we’re slow to remember the lord our
00:53:18 god
00:53:19 that sounds like church history even
00:53:21 with jeremiah smith oh yeah
00:53:23 definitely there were sicknesses and

00:54:31 king that i might know the
00:54:33 disposition of the king that i might

00:54:38 in with my people and resist the land in
00:54:41 peace
00:54:42 so basically talking to the government
00:54:43 because he’s talking to the lamanites
00:54:45 right there

01:00:10 bringing them into bondage like just
