00:00:00 yeah
00:00:01 all right so here so here we are uh
00:00:05 we’re going into Doctrine Covenant
00:00:06 section 93
00:00:08 um to talk about the light that is in
00:00:11 every man
00:00:13 um
00:00:14 merrily thus saith the Lord it shall
00:00:16 come to pass that every soul who
00:00:18 forsaketh his sins and cometh unto me
00:00:21 and calleth on my name and obeyeth my
00:00:24 voice and keepeth my Commandments shall
00:00:27 see my face and know that I am and that
00:00:29 I am in that I am the True Light that
00:00:32 lighteth every man that cometh into the
00:00:34 world now from there well right there
00:00:37 every man
00:00:39 every man so that light is in every man
00:00:42 so let’s go down a little bit hold on I
00:00:45 just want to do one support of that like
00:00:47 two weeks okay gotcha
00:00:52 I’m pretty sure you’re sure you means
00:00:54 women too oh yeah yeah bananas yeah
00:00:57 the thing that you have to bear the
00:00:59 thing that you have to bear in mind is
00:01:00 that in the Hebrew understanding the
00:01:03 reference to man includes women the
00:01:05 reference for women does not include men
00:01:08 it depends on context right but I would
00:01:12 say in that context it’s everyone just
00:01:13 like this one right here in Moroni seven
00:01:16 for behold the spirit of the Messiah is
00:01:18 given to every man that they may know
00:01:21 good from Evil pretty much what the
00:01:23 other one said right well so yeah it’s
00:01:26 almost word for word right there uh it’s
00:01:28 worded a little different but I see the
00:01:30 same teaching right yeah it is that’s
00:01:33 exactly the same teaching so let’s go
00:01:35 back to document Covenant section 93.
00:01:39 um
00:01:40 and here we are uh
00:01:47 and here we go uh let’s start again
00:01:50 let’s start up again where we left off
00:01:52 and that I am in the Father the father
00:01:54 and man father and I are one the father
00:01:56 because he gave me of his fullness of
00:01:58 the son because I was in the world and
00:02:00 made flesh my Tabernacle and dwelt among
00:02:02 the sons of men
00:02:04 a little bit
00:02:06 um
00:02:07 do you see something there Zach
00:02:10 what do you see
00:02:12 modalism yeah yeah same here anyways
00:02:16 sorry about that okay
00:02:19 go ahead
00:02:24 English speaks I guess English speakers
00:02:27 it would sound like he’s talking about
00:02:29 separate beating
00:02:30 kind of and kind of
00:02:34 but
00:02:36 as he grew up
00:02:39 because I was in the world but I can see
00:02:42 about the I can see it both ways yeah
00:02:45 but I I I don’t know and the sun because
00:02:48 I was in the world but he’s giving
00:02:50 reasons for the two titles here
00:02:54 um so but anyways
00:02:59 be that as it may I was in the world and
00:03:02 received to my father in the works of
00:03:04 him were plainly manifest and John song
00:03:07 bore record of the fullness of my glory
00:03:09 in the fullness of John’s record is
00:03:10 Hereafter to be revealed any for records
00:03:12 saying I saw his glory that he was in
00:03:14 the beginning before the world was
00:03:16 therefore in the beginning the word was
00:03:18 for he was the word
00:03:21 here we are again equating the word
00:03:24 Torah with Christ right even the
00:03:27 messenger of Salvation that goes with uh
00:03:30 John 1
00:03:31 John 1 yeah John one uh especially the
00:03:35 jst
00:03:36 uh Edition
00:03:38 yeah exactly the light and the Redeemer
00:03:41 of the world the spirit of Truth came
00:03:43 into the world because the world was
00:03:45 made by him and Indian was the life of
00:03:47 men in him it was the life of men and
00:03:50 the light of men the worlds were made by
00:03:52 him men were made by him all things were
00:03:55 made by him through him enough him and
00:03:57 going down
00:04:00 yeah in him was the light and the light
00:04:02 and the life of men so again that light
00:04:06 that is in all men
00:04:08 um
00:04:09 uh where was I
00:04:13 there we go the world’s from uh and I
00:04:15 John bear record that I beheld his
00:04:17 glorious the glory of the only begotten
00:04:19 of the father full of grace and truth
00:04:21 even the spirit of Truth which came and
00:04:23 dwelt In the Flesh and called Among Us I
00:04:25 John saw that he received not of the
00:04:27 fullness at first but received Grace for
00:04:29 grace and there’s that teaching of Grace
00:04:31 for Grace which when you realize what
00:04:36 Doctrine and Covenant section 88 is
00:04:39 when you cross-referenced Doctrine and
00:04:42 Covenant section 88 with second Nephi 25
00:04:45 you realize that Grace and law are
00:04:49 actually
00:04:51 um synonymous because the teachings are
00:04:53 the same when one replaces the word
00:04:56 grace
00:04:57 or the word law in Doctrine Covenant
00:04:59 section 88 right I think it’s going
00:05:01 along with that it’s going along with I
00:05:04 would word it a little different I I I I
00:05:06 think I we agree on the ultimate goal
00:05:09 but I think it’s it’s through the
00:05:11 sanctification that we get the full
00:05:14 amount of well race but sanctification
00:05:16 but well the the the the issue the issue
00:05:20 is
00:05:22 did Christ have to be sanctified
00:05:25 that’s just the that’s the only issue
00:05:28 there
00:05:29 um and that I would say yeah we all need
00:05:32 to no well fair enough
00:05:35 um if he didn’t sin and if he didn’t sin
00:05:37 he was already Sanctified I maybe maybe
00:05:41 I’m wrong and maybe I’m wrong on that
00:05:43 and this is where
00:05:45 um
00:05:45 I don’t know if you want to Sidetrack on
00:05:47 that or go back to the main point that
00:05:48 you’re getting out but but here we go
00:05:51 you received not of the fullness at
00:05:52 first I can continue From Grace to Grace
00:05:54 law to law
00:05:55 written upon the heart until he received
00:05:58 fullness
00:05:59 so this is that so he is that light that
00:06:02 is in every man and that light and that
00:06:06 Grace
00:06:07 that Grace is
00:06:09 that Grace is light and truth from
00:06:12 heaven
00:06:13 coupled with the power to live it
00:06:16 this is this is the true definition
00:06:18 that’s the true definition of Grace is
00:06:20 it’s been revealed to as it’s been
00:06:22 revealed to my mind in the spirit
00:06:25 is that it is light and truth from
00:06:27 heaven
00:06:28 [Music]
00:06:31 um
00:06:33 and that uh and so this is the uh
00:06:37 so this is so this is what it means to
00:06:40 grow from Grace to Grace and if we wish
00:06:41 to be with Christ as he is this is how
00:06:44 we increase and this is how we increase
00:06:46 our life this is actually how we
00:06:48 increase our light until we so that we
00:06:50 can actually in here it’s even showing
00:06:53 that Yeshua increased right
00:06:56 but when when we have the fullness it’s
00:07:00 when we’ve been sanctified
00:07:02 he didn’t have the fullness
00:07:04 right wouldn’t that yeah and so he
00:07:07 received
00:07:08 but he received it for us by going from
00:07:10 by growing From Grace when Grace to
00:07:13 Grace is uh uh another way of saying
00:07:16 sanctification
00:07:17 yeah
00:07:19 anyways yeah it’s that one’s kind of a a
00:07:23 deeper subject and not that I’m any
00:07:25 expert on that point but I do believe he
00:07:28 got Sanctified but anyways well I mean
00:07:31 and that’s uh and like I said I’m open
00:07:34 to being I’m open to being wrong on that
00:07:37 because that would actually that would
00:07:40 actually increase that would for me to
00:07:43 be wrong on that would actually increase
00:07:44 my belief in my ability to walk in the
00:07:47 footsteps of my savior on all levels
00:07:50 except of course the sacrifice for sin
00:07:53 I’m not
00:07:58 but we can get to the point where we
00:08:00 don’t sin in the future right right so
00:08:03 there are some definite differences
00:08:04 right right but yeah I do agree
00:08:08 definitely yeah give us more hope to
00:08:11 know that he went through the exact same
00:08:13 thing that
00:08:15 we are required to go through
00:08:19 Grace to Grace
00:08:21 Revelation by Revelation coupled with
00:08:23 the power to live in it and the
00:08:25 interesting thing is is when you read in
00:08:27 the in the lectures on faith when it
00:08:30 talks about the revelations and the
00:08:31 lectures on faith it’s talking about the
00:08:32 scriptures
00:08:34 so do you want to look at anything in
00:08:37 particular
00:08:38 that since uh lecture on faith three
00:08:44 when it’s talking about the revelations
00:08:45 and relations of character of God
00:08:48 and then immediately proceeds to go into
00:08:51 the scriptures
00:08:52 so
00:08:54 go ahead Jack so I have to
00:08:57 after after um
00:09:00 after this I have a little
00:09:03 something okay yeah
00:09:06 okay so when when
00:09:09 um Ben’s done with his little thing yeah
00:09:11 okay so first off let’s let’s go down a
00:09:15 little bit because it’s not right up
00:09:17 here in the very very tall
00:09:20 um
00:09:26 where it begins
00:09:28 okay you want me to read for a little
00:09:30 bit and you can interrupt me uh yeah uh
00:09:38 well there’s the thing is there’s a few
00:09:40 I just want to pull one I just want to
00:09:43 pull up I want to be able to yeah I just
00:09:47 want to pull some things out here uh
00:09:50 jump around a little bit so
00:09:52 um as as we have as we have been
00:09:56 indebted to a revelation which God made
00:09:58 of himself to his preachers in the first
00:10:00 instance for the idea of his existence
00:10:02 so in like manner we are indebted to the
00:10:04 revelations which he has given to us for
00:10:06 correct understanding this new character
00:10:07 Perfections and attributes because
00:10:09 without the revelations that she’s given
00:10:11 to us no ma’am by searching you couldn’t
00:10:13 find out God so let’s go down here
00:10:15 having said so much we proceed to
00:10:18 examine the character which the
00:10:20 revelations have given of God and so now
00:10:22 we go into nine
00:10:24 Moses gave us the following account in
00:10:27 Exodus 34 6 and the Lord passed by
00:10:30 before him and proclaimed the Lord God
00:10:31 the Lord God merciful and gracious
00:10:33 long-suffering and abundant and goodness
00:10:35 and Truth okay so this is one of the
00:10:38 revelations that he’s talking about
00:10:40 Psalms 103 6-8 the Lord executes
00:10:43 righteousness and judgment for all that
00:10:45 are oppressed he made us he made known
00:10:48 his ways unto Moses his acts unto the
00:10:50 children of Israel the Lord is merciful
00:10:52 and gracious slow to anger and plentius
00:10:54 and mercy this is Psalms another
00:10:56 Revelation that he’s talking about here
00:10:58 Psalms 103 17-18 for the mercy of the
00:11:02 Lord is from Everlasting the Everlasting
00:11:04 upon them that fear him and his
00:11:05 righteousness unto children under
00:11:06 children’s children as such as keep his
00:11:09 Covenant
00:11:11 and those that remember his Commandments
00:11:13 to do them another Revelation Psalms 92
00:11:17 before the mountains were brought forth
00:11:19 or ever you had formed the Earth of the
00:11:21 world even from Everlasting to
00:11:22 Everlasting your God
00:11:24 Hebrews 1 10-12 is but the one thing
00:11:28 that all of these Revelations have in
00:11:30 common
00:11:32 is that
00:11:34 they’re from the scriptures
00:11:36 and then we go into 10 where he starts
00:11:38 talking about the modern day Revelations
00:11:40 where he talks about Doctrine and
00:11:42 Covenants or the book of Commandments
00:11:45 for God does not walk in crooked paths
00:11:47 neither does he turn to the right hand
00:11:49 nor to the left or buried from that
00:11:50 which he has said therefore his paths
00:11:52 are straight and his course is when he
00:11:53 turned around
00:11:54 listen to the voice of the Lord your God
00:11:56 even elf and Omega the beginning of the
00:11:58 end whose chorus is one Eternal round
00:12:00 the same yesterday today and forever his
00:12:03 course does not change
00:12:07 and the thing and the thing about that
00:12:09 that I notice is that a lot of people
00:12:12 are perfectly willing to argue this
00:12:15 when it’s a point
00:12:20 when a lot of people are willing to
00:12:23 argue this for polygamy
00:12:25 but they’re not willing to argue this
00:12:26 for the law
00:12:28 well the thing about plugging me most
00:12:30 people some people
00:12:33 on polygamy anyways I believe it hasn’t
00:12:36 gone away but most at least that I come
00:12:38 across I think it has changed but
00:12:40 um yes some of the fundamentalists well
00:12:43 yeah I’m talking about a lot I have a
00:12:46 lot of friends who are I have a lot of
00:12:48 friends who are anti polygamy and it’s a
00:12:49 good and I and I think that this is a
00:12:51 healthy thing given the fact that the
00:12:53 law is not exact and that the law is not
00:12:56 for and it is not for it
00:12:58 um it doesn’t well there is no
00:13:01 commandment there is no commandment
00:13:03 supporting it anywhere in scripture No
00:13:06 so when you go look at better
00:13:08 translations it actually States not to
00:13:10 do it in Torah it’s a translation issue
00:13:13 and we can look at that uh if you want I
00:13:15 have a recording on it but but anyway
00:13:18 but but my point is you know if you’re
00:13:21 going to argue the um constancy of God
00:13:25 please be consistent right and I think
00:13:28 your main point is it’s it’s constancy
00:13:31 he’s consistent in everything not just
00:13:36 your pet
00:13:38 um yeah not just not just whatever
00:13:39 Doctrine not just whatever Doctrine
00:13:41 you’re personally opposed to
00:13:43 well
00:13:50 it could be a true doctrine that you’re
00:13:51 for too yeah that’s true if you’re going
00:13:54 to argue if you’re going to argue the
00:13:55 constancy of God then be consistent
00:13:58 whether you’re arguing not just on not
00:14:02 just on one Doctrine but on
00:14:06 everything are you saying which is
00:14:09 consistent with being consistent
00:14:12 yeah it’s something yeah I I think that
00:14:15 that’s I I think that that’s a I think
00:14:17 that that’s actually pretty important
00:14:20 um is that when we argue when we argue a
00:14:24 point
00:14:25 that we should be consistent
00:14:27 realize that if God didn’t change his
00:14:30 ways with polygamy
00:14:34 that perhaps God hasn’t changed his ways
00:14:38 on anything on any one thing yeah so
00:14:41 along those lines just to add a little
00:14:44 more to that
00:14:46 um I mean I don’t have every occurrence
00:14:48 but I do have a few
00:14:52 um
00:14:54 and I have four
00:14:57 uh actually they’re all oh one two three
00:15:01 in the third and one in the seventh that
00:15:03 teaches that
00:15:06 um it’s always the same
00:15:07 and like right
00:15:10 um and then yeah I I collect some here
00:15:12 and there right and yeah the third the
00:15:15 third lecture on faith is really big on
00:15:17 that and the reason why it’s really big
00:15:19 on that is because if God is not
00:15:22 changing
00:15:23 if God is Not unchanging
00:15:26 then we have no basis
00:15:29 for faith
00:15:31 yep
00:15:33 that is that will inspire action or
00:15:37 obedience in US
00:15:38 I think that’s in one of these because
00:15:40 he because again it’s not yeah it is
00:15:45 extremely necessary it is but it is
00:15:46 equally as necessary that men should
00:15:48 have the idea that he is a God who
00:15:51 changes not in order to have faith in
00:15:53 him as it is to have the idea that he is
00:15:55 gracious and long-suffering for without
00:15:57 the idea of unchangeableness in the
00:15:59 character of deity dealt would take the
00:16:01 place of Faith but with the idea that he
00:16:04 changes not
00:16:07 Faith lays hold on the Excellence use of
00:16:09 his character in unshaken confidence
00:16:11 believing that he is the same yesterday
00:16:12 today and forever and that his horse his
00:16:15 course his ways
00:16:17 are one Eternal is one Eternal realm
00:16:20 again is it not equally as necessary
00:16:22 that men should have an idea that God
00:16:24 changes not neither
00:16:27 is there variableness in him in order to
00:16:29 exercise faith in him onto life and
00:16:31 salvation it is
00:16:35 you will not know how soon the mercy of
00:16:38 God might change into cruelty his
00:16:40 long-suffering into rashness is loving
00:16:42 to hatred and in consequence of which
00:16:45 doubt
00:16:47 man would be incapable of exercising
00:16:49 faith in him but having the idea that he
00:16:52 is unchangeable man can have faith in
00:16:54 him continually believing that he was
00:16:55 yesterday he is today and will be
00:16:58 forever
00:17:02 absolutely and I I completely agree with
00:17:05 this logic that’s being taught here
00:17:07 right to me it is complete sense because
00:17:11 and so if if I think that he’s going to
00:17:15 change
00:17:16 and part of faith is you know faith
00:17:19 without action is dead right you have to
00:17:21 do things if these ways are always
00:17:23 changing how do I know what his ways are
00:17:25 so that I could do them
00:17:26 yeah are we how do we how do we Act
00:17:30 right
00:17:31 um but anyways I I completely agree with
00:17:33 this logic and to me it makes complete
00:17:35 sense
00:17:37 and so I the thing is is that the
00:17:46 God has God hasn’t left his place in
00:17:48 history
00:17:51 is there things that he is there are
00:17:53 there things that he that he will reveal
00:17:56 to each of us individually absolutely
00:17:59 well he’ll actually
00:18:00 taught and I think the Book of Mormon
00:18:03 and other scriptures teach he’ll reveal
00:18:05 us everything as we are diligently
00:18:08 seeking him in his ways and keeping AKA
00:18:12 doing his ways he will give us more and
00:18:15 more and more until we have the fullness
00:18:17 yeah
00:18:19 and so that sounds like something we
00:18:21 just read from DNC 93 anyway sorry
00:18:24 yeah
00:18:26 and as we walk in the footsteps of
00:18:29 Christ his countenance is put upon us
00:18:34 and so this is the and so this is
00:18:37 so they’re so there so there is that we
00:18:41 have to have that faith in God that he
00:18:45 is the same yesterday today and forever
00:18:48 um we and we need to re and and in my
00:18:51 opinion we need to read the scriptures
00:18:53 from that perspective
00:18:55 that we don’t need to be reading that we
00:18:58 don’t need to be looking at the
00:18:59 revelations of God as if there are
00:19:02 constantly changing things if we are
00:19:04 then we might as well be in the LDS
00:19:06 Church
00:19:08 well yes but even at the same time if
00:19:11 it’s always changing what’s the point of
00:19:13 reading the old ones they’re invalid now
00:19:15 according to most people yeah I mean
00:19:18 from that perspective what the leaders
00:19:21 of the church are doing saying that um
00:19:24 that you only have to pay attention to
00:19:27 the talks that were given in the last
00:19:28 three years that’s absolutely it’s
00:19:30 absolutely legit
00:19:32 from the perspective of an ever-changing
00:19:34 God
00:19:35 right but why why three years why not
00:19:39 just this last one I mean you know well
00:19:42 I mean
00:19:45 if if he’s always changing God how
00:19:50 how can you know that when someone’s
00:19:53 contradicting you whether if you’re
00:19:55 right or he’s right
00:19:57 right because maybe he just got the new
00:19:59 revelation you haven’t been up to stuff
00:20:01 yet anyway well and here well and here’s
00:20:04 and here’s the and here’s the other
00:20:06 thing
00:20:08 um it’s just a short step
00:20:12 from that place to the place
00:20:17 where the uh
00:20:20 Orthodox Jews are at
00:20:22 where even God
00:20:24 listens to and abides by the
00:20:28 deliberations of their learned Masters
00:20:31 or rabbis
00:20:32 yeah so we should give a source for that
00:20:36 because this is you know going on
00:20:38 YouTube so
00:20:40 um
00:20:42 The Source the talmud yeah
00:20:48 uh the story of the
00:21:05 the
00:21:06 Orthodox Pharisee Jews actually teach
00:21:10 that God has to abide their
00:21:12 interpretation of
00:21:14 what God gave them Torah right which is
00:21:17 that that’s just ridiculous sorry but
00:21:20 that’s what they teach
00:21:22 and so
00:21:24 so this is why and a lot of a lot of the
00:21:27 times I’m interacting on Facebook I
00:21:29 playfully talked to people about well
00:21:31 again mustn’t criticize the rabbis
00:21:35 I I don’t know I don’t know if I had the
00:21:39 verse saved but the DNC does have a
00:21:42 passes at stage that church leaders
00:21:44 should
00:21:46 um allow those cells to come under a
00:21:49 church court when members can
00:21:52 uh I believe that’s they’re
00:21:53 contradicting the the
00:21:55 law
00:21:58 is that in section 107
00:22:00 I don’t know
00:22:02 some things I I know in my head but I
00:22:04 don’t know they’re not always in my
00:22:06 notes but anyways like um scriptures are
00:22:08 the law just so people know
00:22:11 um
00:22:12 ah Thou shalt take the things which thou
00:22:15 has perceived and can you oh okay this
00:22:19 is actually okay oh you want to read
00:22:20 that we can read it real quick that’s
00:22:21 not what I was looking for whenever men
00:22:23 can find that’s a really good one the
00:22:24 will of Elohim and finding a minister
00:22:26 legally authorized from Elohim there is
00:22:30 the kingdom of God or Elohim but where
00:22:33 there these are not the kingdom of
00:22:35 Elohim is not and all the ordinance
00:22:38 systems and administration on the Earth
00:22:40 are of no use to the children unless
00:22:43 they are ordained and authorized of
00:22:45 Elohim for nothing will save a man but a
00:22:47 legal administrator for none others will
00:22:50 be acknowledged either by Elohim or
00:22:52 Angels
00:22:53 um that’s not what he’s looking for but
00:22:55 that’s definitely a good quote right
00:22:58 [Music]
00:22:58 um
00:23:00 yeah
00:23:02 I’m not seeing anything my notes right
00:23:04 off well it’s uh I actually interested
00:23:08 in going I was actually kind of more
00:23:10 interested in going back to Dr Covenant
00:23:11 section 42. uh
00:23:15 um
00:23:17 that could be I don’t know unless we you
00:23:20 know where it is off top of your head if
00:23:21 we want to spend time searching but I I
00:23:23 do believe yeah yeah I think I think can
00:23:25 move on
00:23:27 um
00:23:28 I think we can move okay all right oh
00:23:32 did you want to let’s have some
00:23:33 Sacrament
00:23:34 okay so let’s do that and then we’ll do
00:23:38 Zach’s things after that okay so I’m
00:23:40 gonna
00:23:41 so we changed our minds we’re allowed to
00:23:45 do that
00:23:46 um since there’s a woman here sorry Sue
00:23:48 I’m just teasing uh
00:24:01 um but anyways that was a joke
00:24:03 um
00:24:04 so Zach wants to share something
00:24:06 um do you have a verse I could share
00:24:08 from the app as we go along
00:24:12 yeah I was reading today I was reading
00:24:16 third Nephi 19.
00:24:18 okay
00:24:20 that’s a good one
00:24:23 awesome
00:24:25 at first I was
00:24:27 kind of confused
00:24:29 you know because it’s it’s mentioning
00:24:32 the
00:24:33 what’s this versus it’s like um
00:24:37 uh
00:24:41 come on
00:24:43 do you have anything you have a keyword
00:24:46 you want me to search for
00:24:49 sixth grade
00:24:50 I guess
00:24:52 pray
00:24:56 okay well
00:24:58 um so about like
00:25:00 16. so I I’m gonna guess on something
00:25:03 this has to do with modalism maybe
00:25:06 yeah yeah okay
00:25:08 um yeah because he’s it sounds like he’s
00:25:13 praying to
00:25:14 a separate being from itself but
00:25:17 so this might not be the one but maybe
00:25:19 this is it so
00:25:21 um so there’s 35 in 1918 is that the one
00:25:24 you’re thinking you’re thinking a
00:25:25 different one
00:25:26 sixteen you said starting in 16 going to
00:25:29 the end uh okay so let’s go back
00:25:32 the 16 was
00:25:34 because because oftentimes because
00:25:37 oftentimes uh when we just take one
00:25:40 verse
00:25:41 uh we we can miss some things oh sure I
00:25:46 I’m all for contacts
00:25:48 um
00:25:50 anyway divorce from it I was just I had
00:25:53 a thought of what maybe would it be and
00:25:55 so that’s all I was going off of but
00:25:56 anyways as I was reading I
00:25:59 this first was confused and then
00:26:03 eventually
00:26:05 I returned to like Verse 18 for context
00:26:09 kind of like and then like further
00:26:12 pondering
00:26:14 like
00:26:16 what is this trying to say
00:26:21 in English like
00:26:23 or our understanding is basically like
00:26:26 if you’re praying it sounds like you’re
00:26:28 praying to someone
00:26:31 then usually are but
00:26:36 then yeah so let’s go into let’s let’s
00:26:39 actually read oh actually one thing
00:26:41 maybe let’s let’s I I’m gonna suggest we
00:26:44 go look at the 1820 dictionary on prey
00:26:46 because maybe that might help a little
00:26:47 bit
00:26:48 um
00:26:49 but unless you want to do something else
00:26:51 this is kind of your time right now I’m
00:26:53 just trying to be helpful
00:26:54 sure you could do that okay good
00:26:58 um
00:27:00 working with Section to speak for itself
00:27:17 um
00:27:19 so 1828 dictionary
00:27:24 um to bless
00:27:26 to reproach
00:27:30 I to curse I would never guessed that
00:27:32 one
00:27:33 um I’m praying because you are praying
00:27:36 to the father to ask with Earnest
00:27:39 nisser’s seal is for a favor or
00:27:42 something desirable to entreat to
00:27:44 supplicate
00:27:46 Urban transitive this word belongs to
00:27:49 the same family as preaching approach
00:27:51 well if you want to read it read it
00:27:52 louder yeah
00:27:54 um okay so this it’s saying that the
00:27:58 word belongs the same family as preach
00:28:00 and reproach it’s an act in other words
00:28:02 it’s kind of an action thing uh it can
00:28:06 be
00:28:07 to pray to bless to approach to curse
00:28:10 first definition to ask with earnestness
00:28:13 or Zeal or ask for a favor or uh or for
00:28:16 something desirable to entreat to
00:28:18 supplicate
00:28:19 pray for them who despitefully use you
00:28:21 and persecute you is the sentence that
00:28:24 they use to go with that
00:28:28 to petition to ask as for favor as an as
00:28:31 an application to a legislative party
00:28:34 third definition to In Worship to
00:28:37 address the Supreme Being With solemnity
00:28:39 and reverence with adoration confession
00:28:42 of sins supplication for mercy and
00:28:45 Thanksgiving for blessings received when
00:28:47 thou prayers enter into that closet and
00:28:49 when thou has shut thy door prayed to
00:28:51 thy father who is secret and thy father
00:28:53 who seeth in secret
00:28:54 shall reward the open mind
00:28:59 um so for
00:29:02 yeah four
00:29:05 four I pray that is I pray you tell me
00:29:08 or let me know as a common mode of
00:29:11 introducing a question
00:29:13 okay as a mode of introducing a question
00:29:17 one okay verb Transit supplicate when
00:29:21 traits urge we pray you in Christ’s dead
00:29:23 be reconciled to God
00:29:28 yeah
00:29:29 in worship
00:29:33 and therefore this side wickedness and
00:29:36 pray God or supplicate implore ask with
00:29:39 reverence and humility of God if perhaps
00:29:41 the thought of thy heart may be forgiven
00:29:43 thee from acts 8 22. to petition to to
00:29:48 petition the plaintive praise Judgment
00:29:50 of the Court he that will have the
00:29:52 benefit of this act must pray a
00:29:54 Prohibition before a sentence in the
00:29:56 ecclesiastical Court that’s interesting
00:29:59 I would have never thought of that in a
00:30:02 court setting but that’s probably the
00:30:04 older English but yeah
00:30:06 three to ask or entreat in ceremony or
00:30:09 form pray my colleague Antonius I may
00:30:12 speak with him
00:30:13 in most instances the verb is transitive
00:30:16 only by ellipses only by Ellipsis to
00:30:18 pray God is used to pray used for to
00:30:22 pray to God okay so basically it’s a
00:30:25 transitive verb
00:30:27 um
00:30:28 skipping over a word with an understood
00:30:30 word in between
00:30:33 um so that’s what the transitive verb
00:30:37 about prey is about uh generally
00:30:42 speaking prayer is to generally speaking
00:30:45 it’s pretty I think the correct
00:30:48 definition the place here is the is the
00:30:54 supplication to the Divine being sure uh
00:30:58 I I would also
00:31:00 um would like to add its communication
00:31:02 talking with them yeah my God
00:31:05 so let’s go you can can we go let’s go
00:31:10 back to the scriptures
00:31:12 I I am a big time believer in allowing
00:31:15 the scriptures to interpret themselves
00:31:17 that’s for sure but at the same time we
00:31:19 need to know what the words mean right
00:31:21 right exactly yeah I will say in in a
00:31:23 lot of cases knowing the additional
00:31:26 definitions from 1828 has helped me
00:31:28 understand the scriptures but Zach
00:31:30 wanted to say something okay
00:31:33 for us
00:31:35 as I was reading and pondering the
00:31:38 thought came to me that
00:31:41 maybe he’s doing this
00:31:43 you know as an example for the people
00:31:45 he’s with
00:31:48 uh Yeshua
00:31:50 yeah yeah sure
00:31:52 oh how he how he prayed yeah I yeah I I
00:31:55 so this is a tricky one for moralism but
00:31:58 I do believe
00:32:00 um
00:32:02 so I think the way to look at this and I
00:32:04 know it sounds kind of funny is that
00:32:05 he’s talking to himself
00:32:09 as an example so people would know that
00:32:11 they need to pray to the father
00:32:13 because that’s what he’s doing right
00:32:16 okay uh well okay
00:32:20 for me too is
00:32:22 the verse 18. I say praying to him not
00:32:28 right yeah and uh to go along with that
00:32:31 so on Verse 18 they’re praying to Yeshua
00:32:37 um let’s see hopefully I have it in my
00:32:40 notes and bring her but the Book of
00:32:42 Mormon does say we’re only supposed to
00:32:44 pray to the father
00:32:45 right
00:32:47 um
00:32:50 well
00:32:53 [Music]
00:33:00 okay that’s not what I’m looking for is
00:33:02 it this one
00:33:04 no
00:33:06 oh
00:33:09 um can you just go to the scripture well
00:33:11 why don’t we just let them do you well
00:33:15 we’re talking about we always expound
00:33:20 we’re just getting additional uh we’re
00:33:23 getting additional references okay I’m
00:33:25 not finding it right now
00:33:27 um so if we need it I can get it I can
00:33:29 find it another way but I yeah I’m
00:33:32 finding my notes but the book I think
00:33:35 yeah that we need we’re Foster only pray
00:33:37 to the father
00:33:41 um
00:33:43 and Jesus Christ when he and uh in the
00:33:46 Lord’s Prayer it begins Our Father who
00:33:49 art
00:33:50 we are to pray to the father
00:33:53 right
00:33:55 um um
00:33:58 and uh and actually there’s actually a
00:34:02 there’s actually an Old Testament basis
00:34:04 for that teaching praying before
00:34:08 so that’s an interesting uh that’s an
00:34:12 interesting thing to bear in mind as
00:34:13 well yeah yeah
00:34:15 so but let’s let’s go into uh
00:34:20 let’s go into verse 16.
00:34:23 uh okay
00:34:24 is starting at verse 16. let’s go into
00:34:27 it here and it came to pass and spake
00:34:30 onto the multitude and commanded them
00:34:32 that they should kneel down upon the
00:34:33 Earth and also that his disciples should
00:34:36 kneel down upon the Earth it came to
00:34:39 pass when they had all knelt down on the
00:34:41 earth he commanded his disciples and
00:34:42 they should pray
00:34:43 behold they began to pray and they’d
00:34:46 pray unto Jesus calling him their lord
00:34:48 and their God
00:34:49 and it came to pass
00:34:51 and
00:34:52 it came to pass that Jesus departed out
00:34:55 of the midst of them so one thing I do
00:34:58 think we want to make clear here that I
00:35:00 think verse 17 makes clear this is not
00:35:02 just them talking to Jesus right there
00:35:05 right they’re they’re actually getting
00:35:08 down on on their knees and to kneeling
00:35:11 and praying and not just talking to him
00:35:16 like we’re talking to each other right
00:35:18 now right right and it came to pass that
00:35:21 Jesus departed out of the midst of them
00:35:23 and went a little way off from them and
00:35:25 bowed himself to the Earth and he said
00:35:27 father I thank thee
00:35:29 and so here is here’s where it gets here
00:35:32 he goes off and he prays to the father
00:35:36 father I thank thee that thou Hast given
00:35:38 the Holy Ghost unto these whom I have
00:35:40 chosen and it is because of their belief
00:35:43 in me that I have chosen the mouth of
00:35:44 the world
00:35:45 father I pray thee that thou will give
00:35:48 the Holy Ghost not to all them that
00:35:49 Shall Believe in their words
00:35:52 father thou Hast given them the Holy
00:35:54 Ghost because they believe in me and
00:35:57 thou seeest that they believe in me
00:35:59 because thou herest them and they pray
00:36:01 unto me
00:36:03 and they pray unto me because I am with
00:36:05 them
00:36:06 and now father I pray unto thee for them
00:36:10 and also for all those who believe on
00:36:14 their first they may believe me they may
00:36:17 be in them as thou father are in me that
00:36:20 we may be one so
00:36:28 there’s several things that work here as
00:36:31 I see it
00:36:34 um he’s yes he is praying
00:36:37 to the father
00:36:39 and he’s justifying
00:36:42 but he’s also justifying the apostles
00:36:44 for praying to him
00:36:48 because he is with them
00:36:52 when he has taught people to pray unto
00:36:55 the father
00:36:59 well so they don’t I don’t really see a
00:37:01 problem with it because well I’m I’m I
00:37:04 I’m just going through I’m
00:37:07 just going through what’s here
00:37:11 and I’m not saying that it’s a problem
00:37:13 I’m just saying what’s here
00:37:16 I’m describing the territory okay well I
00:37:19 I don’t know if I would call it a
00:37:20 justification uh it’s probably more of
00:37:23 an explanation
00:37:25 um because yeah okay they’re just using
00:37:29 maybe a different title since he’s right
00:37:31 there with them
00:37:34 um right now the main issue the main
00:37:37 issue
00:37:39 the main the main thing that presents a
00:37:42 problem is I see it
00:37:45 that they may believe in me that I may
00:37:48 be in them as thou father are in me that
00:37:51 we may be one
00:37:53 and so the
00:37:59 and so this
00:38:04 seems to this little section right here
00:38:08 seems to be it’s not talking about an
00:38:12 actual Oneness of person
00:38:16 because Jesus
00:38:18 I mean even if we’re even if we’re
00:38:22 living even if we’re living the law we
00:38:24 and we have Jesus countenance upon us
00:38:26 that doesn’t necessarily mean that we
00:38:28 are a one person with Jesus
00:38:31 well I so I think it’s one on purpose
00:38:34 and I think a lectures on faith brings
00:38:36 that out lecture
00:38:40 yeah that’s my that’s my point on that
00:38:44 and that this and that this one in
00:38:46 purpose has that this one and purpose is
00:38:49 accomplished the the singleness of
00:38:51 purpose is accomplished through the Holy
00:38:53 Spirit The Light of Christ it is you
00:38:55 know that is in all men
00:38:58 um and so it’s um
00:39:02 that yeah it’s uh which which we
00:39:07 actually grow as we’re obedient to the
00:39:09 Commandments and as we pray
00:39:11 um and receive Revelation and light
00:39:13 further life knowledge and uh are
00:39:16 obedient and in all that we receive that
00:39:19 that Oneness grows with each one of us
00:39:24 um
00:39:28 and yet we are not
00:39:31 of the same body
00:39:33 correct in fact and to further that even
00:39:36 more here on lectures on faith five
00:39:40 um multiple spots it says there’s two
00:39:42 personages right uh up here at verse two
00:39:46 and
00:39:47 uh how many personages are there in the
00:39:49 godhead
00:39:50 two the father and the son okay anyways
00:39:53 uh I think there’s another spot for it I
00:39:56 think
00:39:58 oh how many how do you prove it there
00:40:00 are two personages in the godhead all
00:40:02 right not three two anyways but let’s go
00:40:05 back to the one
00:40:09 [Music]
00:40:09 um
00:40:11 messed up
00:40:17 so
00:40:19 by these three constitute the godhead
00:40:21 and they are one
00:40:24 the father son possessing the same mind
00:40:27 right doing things wanting to do it the
00:40:31 same way thinking about it the same way
00:40:33 understanding it the same way right
00:40:37 um the same wisdom Glory power and
00:40:40 fullness
00:40:42 I think this is more what that’s getting
00:40:44 at right
00:40:49 and yet and yet
00:40:52 the prayer that we be one as they are
00:40:55 what
00:40:57 so I think that there’s
00:40:59 things to be explored in this idea that
00:41:03 we be one with them as they are one
00:41:08 as they are one there’s more to be
00:41:11 explored in my opinion okay okay
00:41:15 and so I think
00:41:18 that um
00:41:21 yeah so
00:41:24 you know and so that so that’s that’s
00:41:27 all uh
00:41:29 that’s all that that’s all I’m gonna say
00:41:32 about that uh what we don’t I
00:41:37 and so it you know it’s um on several
00:41:40 instances
00:41:42 it’s like you said Stephen this one’s a
00:41:45 little tricky
00:41:47 yeah some of them are tricky there’s a
00:41:49 lot of that there’s a lot of uh that
00:41:54 and the there’s a lot of contradictions
00:41:59 uh well in this one I actually I
00:42:01 personally don’t see this one too tricky
00:42:03 myself personally but I can understand
00:42:05 how some people do
00:42:08 um but I I do think he was
00:42:11 praying to himself which I I know a lot
00:42:14 of people who are opposed to modalism
00:42:16 think that’s a
00:42:18 crazy talk but we talk to ourselves all
00:42:21 the time but anyways I I think I don’t
00:42:24 know if Zach has more that he wants to
00:42:26 share
00:42:27 yeah what do you what do you what do you
00:42:29 have for us on today
00:42:37 um
00:42:39 yeah I mostly wanted to get your
00:42:40 thoughts but
00:42:43 yeah it was yeah I what I see what I see
00:42:48 is that the key to this whole thing
00:42:52 uh is down here in verse 23.
00:42:55 there’s
00:42:57 18 is a key 23 is also a key and so we
00:43:02 have to the whole experience has to be
00:43:05 taken into account
00:43:08 as we’re looking
00:43:10 at these things otherwise we run the
00:43:13 danger
00:43:14 of not
00:43:16 uh being in context within the
00:43:19 scriptures so
00:43:22 um verse 25
00:43:24 goes along with the 18 and it came to
00:43:28 pass that Yeshua blessed them as they
00:43:30 did prey on to him and his his
00:43:34 continents did smile upon them
00:43:37 I
00:43:38 I’m not sure what that would mean other
00:43:42 than and maybe this is what it’s saying
00:43:43 now is that maybe he
00:43:49 showed forth more of his glory and the
00:43:51 light of his continents did shine upon
00:43:53 them and the Delight has to do with the
00:43:55 glory this is actually a reference to
00:43:57 the this is actually a reference to the
00:44:00 levitical blessing
00:44:03 uh I can see that this is a reference to
00:44:05 the levitical blessing the Lord
00:44:08 smile upon you yeah the Lord make his
00:44:11 accountant
00:44:11 [Music]
00:44:13 may the Lord look down upon you and give
00:44:15 you peace this is the levitical blessing
00:44:18 and this is a reference to levitical
00:44:19 blessing
00:44:21 um and a very clear connection
00:44:25 to the fact that Yahweh of the Old
00:44:28 Testament and Yeshua of the New
00:44:31 Testament are quite possible are are
00:44:34 pretty much this are pretty much the
00:44:37 same being
00:44:38 it’s not pretty much they are if yes
00:44:39 yeah but yeah but um pre-incarnate and
00:44:43 one’s carne
00:44:44 um but um yeah so but that’s um yeah and
00:44:49 that’s and and that is correct and that
00:44:51 would be and that actually is something
00:44:54 that um
00:44:56 that’s actually
00:44:58 hey you know this is something that this
00:45:00 is actually from this should actually be
00:45:02 familiar territory for us in the the
00:45:05 even in the church we were taught that
00:45:08 Jesus Christ created the world
00:45:11 um I I think along with those lines
00:45:14 um
00:45:15 the angel of Yahweh
00:45:17 is Yahweh
00:45:18 and we can see that because you’re not
00:45:21 supposed to worship anything not even
00:45:23 angels other than Yahweh and in the Old
00:45:26 Testament
00:45:28 there’s multiple occasions where the
00:45:30 righteous worship the angel of Yahweh
00:45:33 and it is allowed no you’re not you’re
00:45:36 sitting there doing stuff and I ask you
00:45:38 to bring it here so okay so he’s got
00:45:42 multiple oh sorry
00:45:44 okay now we’re back online
00:45:47 okay
00:45:48 to me
00:45:52 the uh
00:45:57 the when Jesus when Jesus prays that
00:46:01 they made that we may be one
00:46:04 I think that there’s something that is
00:46:06 significant in that that is not
00:46:08 addressed in some of these other things
00:46:10 but we were talking about the levitical
00:46:13 blessing
00:46:14 oh right right
00:46:16 um before uh we had to take a little
00:46:18 break uh you were talking about the
00:46:19 levitical blessing yeah that is it is
00:46:22 referencing that so that was yeah this
00:46:24 is this is a reference this is a direct
00:46:25 reference to the levitical blessing yes
00:46:28 um uh meaning he
00:46:33 bestows that upon himself he puts his
00:46:35 name upon them here this is actually
00:46:37 what’s happening this is what is
00:46:40 supposed to happen when the the priest
00:46:43 the Levites were supposed to put the
00:46:45 name of God upon the people at all times
00:46:48 you know
00:46:49 they were supposed to put at their
00:46:51 Gatherings when they
00:46:54 when they did this blessing
00:46:57 um and so what he’s doing is he’s
00:47:00 putting his name upon these people
00:47:03 he himself is doing it right okay right
00:47:06 that makes sense
00:47:08 um and so that’s so that’s what’s going
00:47:10 on in verse 25 and I still think that
00:47:13 the I still think that we would be
00:47:17 I still think that we would not be wise
00:47:20 to Discount what is in verse 23
00:47:24 um
00:47:25 because
00:47:30 and so we can and I think that we also
00:47:33 would not be wise to Discount what is in
00:47:35 18 I think that these I don’t think that
00:47:38 they necessarily disagree with one
00:47:40 another
00:47:42 but I think that we should be willing
00:47:44 but I think that we should we should be
00:47:45 willing to consider the implications of
00:47:48 23 upon 18. so for sure and I I think
00:47:53 that the one uh has to do with what I
00:47:56 kind of shared from the lectures on on
00:47:57 today
00:47:58 um right possessing the same mind same
00:48:00 wisdom Glory power and fullness
00:48:04 um which is the work and Glory of
00:48:09 the sun I think
00:48:11 um from is that when Abraham III this is
00:48:14 my work my glory all right let’s yeah
00:48:18 let’s go and also and also and also I
00:48:23 think it’s wise to consider what that
00:48:26 means in regards to our ultimate destiny
00:48:30 if we will if we will choose to obey uh
00:48:35 and walk in yahweh’s place that we will
00:48:38 be on
00:48:40 correct in fact
00:48:42 um Zion I know a lot of people like to
00:48:44 talk about Zion right now right
00:48:47 um but a big part of Zion is that we are
00:48:51 all one as in we are in agreement with
00:48:56 Yahweh in his ways yes
00:49:00 saying oh I think it’s this way or you
00:49:02 think it’s this way let’s try to merge
00:49:04 these together and we’ll be happy in
00:49:06 what no that’s not how it is no the way
00:49:09 it works the way it works one mind is
00:49:11 yours
00:49:13 right
00:49:14 um one mind is the one mind is Yahweh
00:49:17 well it can be ours too but we well it
00:49:20 can but but we have to choose to
00:49:27 accept that mind correct correct
00:49:31 um we have to choose to accept the mind
00:49:33 and will of God
00:49:35 this is our own though just as the sun
00:49:38 made the father’s will his own and
00:49:41 teachings right well I mean and that’s
00:49:44 the and that’s that’s
00:49:46 it’s kind of it’s kind of it’s
00:49:49 if you don’t make it your own you
00:49:50 haven’t really accepted
00:49:53 uh right
00:49:55 um
00:49:56 so I I did what for where’s that this is
00:49:59 my work my glory is that Abraham III am
00:50:02 I remembering Moses 139 oh okay so I was
00:50:06 like way off
00:50:07 [Laughter]
00:50:11 here goes my Scripture Mastery
00:50:16 actually most time I am pretty good with
00:50:18 it right right
00:50:20 anyways this is my work and my glory to
00:50:24 bring to pass the immortality and
00:50:25 eternal life of Matt so part of internal
00:50:27 life I would um
00:50:30 I would say it includes being the one
00:50:34 um the eternal life and so it’s
00:50:37 uh let’s see if there’s some contexts
00:50:40 before or after we might bring that out
00:50:45 fine I’m not saying anything yeah no
00:50:48 this is a statement in and of itself
00:50:50 this is a statement in and of itself and
00:50:53 it it needs no further explanation
00:50:58 and I and I think immortality is quite
00:51:02 clear right
00:51:04 um no longer the physical body and the
00:51:06 spiritual body can die but I think
00:51:09 um I think there’s debates among people
00:51:12 what eternal life is exactly I don’t
00:51:15 think that
00:51:16 honestly I
00:51:19 fair enough I don’t think there should
00:51:21 be but that’s just okay well uh I I to
00:51:24 me to me
00:51:28 to me it seems that Eternal that eternal
00:51:32 life is self-evident if you have to
00:51:34 separate it from immortality it’s often
00:51:36 it’s obviously uh
00:51:38 it’s a it’s that Oneness of which in the
00:51:42 Christ is praying for
00:51:44 um that’s what I’m saying I do believe
00:51:45 that’s that but not everybody does think
00:51:47 that but that’s different than
00:51:49 immortality though
00:51:51 for example the sons of perditions who
00:51:54 came to Earth will have immortality but
00:51:57 they’re going to be separate from the
00:51:59 father and they’re going to they are the
00:52:02 ones that are the only ones the center
00:52:03 petitions that will
00:52:06 um not be saved from the second death so
00:52:08 they are different
00:52:10 yeah oh yeah no um well clearly
00:52:13 mortality and eternal life
00:52:15 I’m clearly not everybody who
00:52:18 and also clearly recorded Doctrine and
00:52:21 Covenant 7-6 with its differing degrees
00:52:23 of Glory not everyone who is not a
00:52:26 soccer tradition actually will receive
00:52:29 eternal life or that or the exact same
00:52:32 level of Oneness for God
00:52:34 right and so actually let’s go dnc76 did
00:52:37 I don’t know if it says eternal life in
00:52:39 there but I I do have
00:52:42 the current belief and I I don’t know
00:52:44 how to
00:52:46 um show it from the scriptures yet
00:52:48 um that it’s the Celestial Kingdom or
00:52:51 sorry Celestial Glory that was a bad
00:52:53 habit
00:52:55 let’s go
00:52:59 let’s see so it’s 50 it’s starting in
00:53:02 verse 50 is talking about the celestial
00:53:04 well I I want to see all
00:53:06 Eternal okay and that’s that’s why I
00:53:08 didn’t go to my nose oh I see I see I
00:53:10 see I see because I have everything on
00:53:12 the celestial Glory I said it right that
00:53:14 time in my notes but I don’t I don’t
00:53:17 have anything on the Eternal but great
00:53:18 shall be their reward and
00:53:21 eternal shall be their Glory
00:53:24 um so let’s go
00:53:30 unto those who fear me and Delight to
00:53:33 honor those who serve me in
00:53:34 righteousness and in truth unto okay so
00:53:37 to me that’s pretty obvious uh that’s
00:53:41 the celestial Glory right there you know
00:53:44 he’s talking about celestial right it
00:53:46 doesn’t come out right and say it but
00:53:48 it’s what it’s describing it’s me
00:53:52 go down to 50 and it’s exactly it’s this
00:53:55 is like the summary statement of that
00:53:57 yeah so first I just let’s go look at
00:53:59 all the
00:54:00 um right right right right
00:54:03 um wherefore he saves all except
00:54:08 then so this is kind of what I was
00:54:10 saying them they shall go away into
00:54:12 Everlasting punishment oh I mean I mean
00:54:15 Everlasting doesn’t mean Everlasting
00:54:16 right there sorry that is it show it’s
00:54:19 going off another conversation what
00:54:20 right which is endless punishment which
00:54:23 is eternal punishment to reign with
00:54:26 the devil and his angels in eternity so
00:54:30 it’s
00:54:30 um separating those who are cast out
00:54:33 before mortality right where where are
00:54:37 their worm dieth not and their fire is
00:54:40 not quenched which is their torment so
00:54:42 uh one thing this is saying is that the
00:54:45 sons of perditions go to the same place
00:54:48 that those who were cast out in heaven
00:54:51 will be going right or or the
00:54:53 interesting thing is is Bali says which
00:54:56 is eternal punishment and what have you
00:54:58 the end thereof neither the place
00:55:00 thereof nor their torment
00:55:03 that’s a really interesting little thing
00:55:05 to tag on to that
00:55:10 um
00:55:13 I think you say that one more time
00:55:16 verse 45 is an interesting little tag on
00:55:19 to that though because it doesn’t end in
00:55:22 a period so this is a Bagon uh sure
00:55:25 and the end of neither the place thereof
00:55:27 nor their torment no man’s nose
00:55:31 um oh well neither the place thereof
00:55:34 well that’s interesting
00:55:37 um
00:55:37 so that so that’s actually that’s
00:55:39 actually a tag on to that you can
00:55:41 actually increase
00:55:42 it can actually increase your
00:55:44 understanding of what the of what he’s
00:55:46 talking about when it’s talking about
00:55:48 eternal punishment
00:55:49 so that’s an interesting little thing so
00:55:52 I think Zach wanted to say something and
00:55:54 then that actually makes me want to look
00:55:55 up the word place but did you want to
00:55:57 say something Zach yeah I think I think
00:56:00 he says
00:56:01 I know I’m not going to reveal this to
00:56:03 you because
00:56:05 it’s too terrifying for you to
00:56:07 comprehend
00:56:08 uh oh yeah that’s not quite what do you
00:56:11 see it’s actually in the next verse it’s
00:56:13 actually in the next verse maybe there
00:56:15 was a revealed neither is neither will
00:56:17 be revealed on demand except to them who
00:56:20 are made for takers they’re up yeah I
00:56:23 mean like for that’s kind of I guess for
00:56:24 our point of view would be like
00:56:26 horrifying
00:56:27 uh
00:56:29 very very very very very very very
00:56:31 horrifying I would add
00:56:35 um but
00:56:36 yeah I
00:56:40 I want to Sidetrack unless you had
00:56:42 another comment that you wanted to say
00:56:45 some more but I I I
00:56:48 I’m wondering about the definition of
00:56:51 place
00:56:52 okay um
00:56:55 go ahead
00:56:57 I was also reading um what’s his Elmo
00:57:01 the youngers
00:57:02 a little lecture to his younger youngest
00:57:05 son
00:57:06 um uh and I’m a late 30s uh yeah 37
00:57:11 maybe or like first he repriments him
00:57:14 for like coming after the Harlot and uh
00:57:17 he goes into theological discussions
00:57:19 like that one the resurrection
00:57:22 and it did Echo
00:57:24 what that what didn’t the DNC was saying
00:57:27 uh about the yes so let’s go look at
00:57:30 that in a minute let’s go there after we
00:57:32 look at the word
00:57:34 um place
00:57:36 uh a particular portion of space of
00:57:39 indefinite extent
00:57:42 okay
00:57:44 any portion of space
00:57:47 local existence
00:57:50 separate room or apartment
00:57:58 um see
00:58:01 residents Manson
00:58:03 Mansion yeah
00:58:06 a portion of Passage
00:58:09 of writing of a book
00:58:11 there we go that wasn’t interested
00:58:14 point of degree and Order of proceeding
00:58:18 hmm
00:58:21 as in the first place to second place
00:58:23 and the last place
00:58:31 so I
00:58:33 I wonder I’m just thinking out loud here
00:58:36 right I wonder if that has it
00:58:39 or eight rank order of priority
00:58:42 dignity or importance he holds the first
00:58:46 place in society nine office employment
00:58:49 official statement
00:58:51 [Music]
00:58:53 um ground or room
00:58:56 uh station in life
00:59:01 um a city Town military Affairs
00:59:05 fortified by town or post Fortress
00:59:07 fortified Jennifer’s Fortress fort
00:59:10 a country space in general room
00:59:15 the place of the Moon okay
00:59:19 in other words it’s it’s a plate what
00:59:23 it’s talking about from what I’ve been
00:59:24 able to see from looking at all these
00:59:26 definitions as it’s talking about a
00:59:28 certain place within the space I I don’t
00:59:33 think all definitions go with location
00:59:34 okay just use a different word some of
00:59:37 these um
00:59:41 actually in my opinion goes more in
00:59:44 ranking
00:59:45 or office interesting
00:59:47 that’s an interesting 1976 actually kind
00:59:51 of goes along with right in fact DMC 76
00:59:54 is the states
00:59:57 um that the
00:59:59 hopefully I’m getting the names right
01:00:02 terrestrial that’s the higher one uh is
01:00:06 over the tea lestrol one right so I
01:00:11 my inclination right now it’s not
01:00:13 actually talking about location it’s
01:00:15 talking about the order the rank who’s
01:00:18 over it
01:00:21 um just as in what I see in DMC 76
01:00:26 because DNC now I do believe Heaven is
01:00:28 going to be on Earth but DNC 76 doesn’t
01:00:32 state that what DNC 76 context to me
01:00:36 brings out in this word here that I’m
01:00:40 seeing in the definition it’s the rank
01:00:42 office
01:00:44 I mean that’s
01:00:47 I I it definitely is it definitely is a
01:00:51 more interesting it’s definitely a more
01:00:53 interesting
01:00:55 um a definitely a more interesting
01:00:58 definition to apply
01:01:01 um right
01:01:03 um I wouldn’t have thought of that
01:01:05 um without going to the dictionary
01:01:07 because that stumped me a little bit
01:01:09 unless you that’s why I wanted to go
01:01:11 look
01:01:13 um because I I do
01:01:16 the law states
01:01:19 these people are going to be stoned
01:01:22 and I I at least that’s how I interpret
01:01:25 it and I do believe that stoning is
01:01:27 going to be internal and so I that’s why
01:01:31 I was wanting to go look at the
01:01:33 definition of of place and to see what
01:01:35 other definitions are but I do see two
01:01:38 basic definitions location
01:01:40 and office or rank or or order right was
01:01:46 another one yeah appointment
01:01:49 um right anyways and so and that
01:01:52 actually goes along with the
01:01:55 several times it talks about that they
01:01:58 are appointed to a place uh yeah or
01:02:01 appointed to a play well place or
01:02:04 vocation location or uh degree right as
01:02:09 another I think that was in here yeah
01:02:12 yeah degrees degrees
01:02:14 a point or degree because there’s
01:02:17 degrees of Glory in fact this is dz76 is
01:02:21 a a lot about degrees of Glory right
01:02:24 right and look in the 1828 dictionary
01:02:29 there is a definition that has to do
01:02:31 with degree in order
01:02:35 um in fact even
01:02:37 um the tea lestrol world there’s or Not
01:02:40 Sorry degree of Glory there’s multiple
01:02:46 individual levels of Glory where in the
01:02:50 celestial it’s all one at least the way
01:02:52 that I uh understanding it from the text
01:02:55 in DNC 76 and the tea lestrol is a whole
01:02:58 other one but then the
01:03:01 tea lestrol is it’s a whole bunch of
01:03:03 different ones like all the different
01:03:05 um brightness of the Stars right and
01:03:09 that’s a degree of glory and so just the
01:03:12 context the whole
01:03:14 Revelation here I I would be more
01:03:17 inclined to go with
01:03:19 seven as a definition and the ones that
01:03:21 are like it and what it’s talking about
01:03:24 place
01:03:25 especially when you go look at what it
01:03:27 says just before that
01:03:30 um right it’s talking about punishment
01:03:34 quenching and it’s somewhat along those
01:03:36 same lines and then all of a sudden it
01:03:39 says you don’t know where they’re going
01:03:40 to be located actually I think it’s
01:03:42 staying on the same subject of
01:03:45 of the degree
01:03:49 at least that’s all I’m reading it right
01:03:51 now anyways and I think it makes sense
01:03:54 I think that’s a I think that’s
01:03:57 a profound way to read it
01:03:59 um
01:04:00 a lot of people it’s not what it’s not
01:04:03 the most and like and it is not the most
01:04:07 common way use definition and so a lot
01:04:10 of people that it will run into some
01:04:12 confusion oh I I I I I understand but
01:04:16 that’s why I went to the dictionary it’s
01:04:18 there right yeah and I do believe it
01:04:21 fits in with the context
01:04:23 of just locally
01:04:25 and the whole Revelation
01:04:28 I mean I can see I can see the
01:04:30 connection uh okay anyways
01:04:33 um maybe yeah I mean yeah so let’s let’s
01:04:36 go okay so let’s go look at the other
01:04:40 eternal
01:04:42 um
01:04:43 these are they who receive not of his
01:04:45 fullness in the Eternal world but the
01:04:48 Holy Spirit through the administration
01:04:49 of the turtles okay so this is talking
01:04:51 about the tea lestrol and just what I
01:04:53 was just kind of talking about how the
01:04:55 uh
01:04:57 terrestrials are going to be over or
01:05:00 they have a degree in order of
01:05:02 proceeding above the
01:05:05 tea lestrol right and they’re supposed
01:05:07 to minister onto them and Minister them
01:05:09 the Holy Spirit wait a minute if it’s a
01:05:11 person how do you administer the a
01:05:14 person to somebody else anyways
01:05:17 Administration has to do with teaching
01:05:19 they’re teaching them the law
01:05:22 because the Holy Spirit they’re teaching
01:05:24 them how to have the Holy Behavior but
01:05:27 anyway I can’t I I can’t see the
01:05:30 scripture right now I’m still oh you
01:05:32 can’t oh I forgot to change sharing
01:05:34 silly Stephen I’m sorry
01:05:39 um
01:05:39 I want to take a look okay yeah it does
01:05:42 not say Administration
01:05:45 says ministration not Administration
01:05:48 okay
01:05:50 so I I just find this one interesting
01:05:53 that to me it it tells me that the
01:05:56 terrestrial people are going to be I
01:05:59 mean the tour so I get in these terms
01:06:01 mixed up sorry the terrestrial people
01:06:04 are going to be teaching the T
01:06:07 cholesterol oh wait no I said that
01:06:10 backwards again the tea lestro people
01:06:12 are going to be teaching the
01:06:14 you know is going to be teaching the
01:06:16 Tila show sorry well what I see here
01:06:20 though
01:06:26 so this verse is about the teeth this is
01:06:28 about they receive of the Holy but
01:06:31 basically this is talking about
01:06:35 what what they what this is the light
01:06:39 this is the light that I I what I see
01:06:43 um they received not of his fullness in
01:06:45 the Eternal world but of the Holy Spirit
01:06:48 through the administration of the
01:06:49 terrestrial then that’s not necessarily
01:06:52 to me that’s not this is talking about
01:06:56 what people in the terrestrial
01:07:00 uh Glory receive no it’s not talking
01:07:04 about what they minister to others no no
01:07:06 so this context right here and I can
01:07:09 show up more easily for my notes is uh
01:07:13 the terrestrial people okay so let’s go
01:07:17 I just I can do it quicker here than
01:07:20 over there
01:07:22 um
01:07:25 and then we can go back and see it there
01:07:27 okay
01:07:29 um here so
01:07:32 this is at this uh 81 through 86 is
01:07:38 talking about the Tea lestrol people
01:07:41 you’re right you’re right right okay
01:07:44 okay through the administration okay but
01:07:47 of the Holy Spirit yeah through the
01:07:50 administration of those terrestrial okay
01:07:52 yes okay because yeah that whole thing
01:07:55 is in is talking about the celestial
01:07:58 yeah so this is saying that the
01:08:00 terrestrial people are going to be
01:08:02 teaching the t-restrial people
01:08:06 Torah
01:08:12 so let’s let’s let’s Sidetrack and oops
01:08:17 ah if I could let’s go change switch
01:08:20 let’s go to the dictionary on
01:08:22 um because we know that well
01:08:24 Administration
01:08:26 Administration Ministries yeah let’s
01:08:29 take a look at it that’s teaching but
01:08:31 let’s go look I believe you know like I
01:08:33 did with the word place which it should
01:08:35 be obvious what that means right but the
01:08:37 act of Performing says the act of
01:08:39 Performing Service as a subordinate
01:08:41 agent agency intervention for Aid or
01:08:44 service the office of a minister
01:08:46 yep ministers teach service
01:08:49 ecclesiastical function
01:08:52 so my point here is this odd
01:08:58 verse in DNC 76 actually does teach that
01:09:02 the holy spirit is Torah the law right
01:09:05 because if the Holy Spirit was a person
01:09:08 how do you Minister a person to a whole
01:09:12 group of people
01:09:14 you don’t
01:09:16 that makes no sense
01:09:19 you teach that you Minister the law
01:09:22 right
01:09:28 I can see it
01:09:30 uh but you know with your dad being an
01:09:33 English teacher you know you probably
01:09:35 know the ins and out English better than
01:09:36 I can but can you Minister a person to
01:09:38 someone in any context
01:09:46 only only
01:09:49 General
01:09:53 yeah the only way that that the only way
01:09:55 that you can
01:09:57 I mean you can administer a person’s
01:10:00 decrees but that that’s Administration
01:10:03 not Administration right that’s a
01:10:06 different word
01:10:07 exactly
01:10:09 so yeah I I the administration of the
01:10:12 terrestrial it’s they were talking about
01:10:15 with Administration is definitely
01:10:17 talking about being ministers yeah
01:10:21 basically yeah so that’s her cholesterol
01:10:24 uh people who received the Turles of
01:10:26 Glory are ministers to those who
01:10:29 received the tea lestrol Glory
01:10:32 which their Glory differs from different
01:10:36 um stars right so there’s a varying
01:10:38 degree of glories there but it’s she
01:10:40 Yeah well yeah it’s a very it’s varying
01:10:43 degrees of how we have developed the
01:10:45 life of
01:10:47 right how we have how we have gravitated
01:10:49 to The Light Within right right so but
01:10:53 and then going off of how I was saying
01:10:56 degrees right let’s go back so now we
01:10:58 see the context of that verse right I
01:11:00 just I could do it quicker there right
01:11:03 because I don’t have the whole thing
01:11:04 memorized I just have some general
01:11:05 things there but I I did know I was this
01:11:09 they but I keep doing that’s not what I
01:11:12 want to do
01:11:15 I I just wanted to highlight that one
01:11:16 word so different programs do different
01:11:19 things when you double click and I
01:11:21 anyways um the one that I live in Visual
01:11:23 Studio it doesn’t do that
01:11:26 it just highlights the one word which is
01:11:28 what I want so that’s where that habit’s
01:11:30 coming from but anyways this day there
01:11:32 is the keyless drill people right they
01:11:36 don’t receive uh yahweh’s fullness in
01:11:40 the Eternal world
01:11:41 but they do receive the Torah through
01:11:45 the teachings
01:11:48 or being administered to by those who
01:11:51 receive the Terre Lester Glory
01:11:56 and then next and the terrestrial
01:12:00 get ministered by those who receive the
01:12:05 celestial Quarry
01:12:06 these are degrees and this is their
01:12:09 duties right
01:12:10 mm-hmm
01:12:12 uh which I I which to me gives Credence
01:12:16 to the verse earlier with the word place
01:12:19 and it is actually going with degrees
01:12:22 and not location
01:12:24 um
01:12:25 in torment or whatever that is but
01:12:28 anyways
01:12:30 um
01:12:30 but
01:12:32 okay so here I think that’s good on that
01:12:34 Eternal unless we want to do some more
01:12:35 on that one that’s good okay so I think
01:12:41 here’s another eternal
01:12:42 these are they who suffer the Vengeance
01:12:45 of eternal power so this is going to be
01:12:47 the sons of perditions right actually no
01:12:50 this is um
01:12:52 I don’t believe so well let’s go
01:12:57 look back
01:12:59 I think that’s actually talking so the
01:13:02 last deal again because there’s no look
01:13:06 102 through 106 or Center partitions
01:13:09 I mean we can go read through it and
01:13:11 make sure you think I have but yeah let
01:13:13 me see let’s go back to the scriptures
01:13:15 Okay so
01:13:16 we’ll go back to the whole thing but I
01:13:18 do believe 106 through I mean 102
01:13:20 through 106 is the center partitions is
01:13:22 look at how I read it
01:13:25 so we’ll go back to the whole thing and
01:13:27 we can look at it all because let’s see
01:13:29 let’s go a little above one or two
01:13:31 because
01:13:37 okay
01:13:40 and okay let’s start at 98. on the glory
01:13:45 of child and the glory of celestial is
01:13:47 one even as glorious star of the stars
01:13:49 is one for as one star difference from
01:13:51 another star and Glory even so differs
01:13:52 one from another employee in the
01:13:54 celestial world for these are they who
01:13:56 are Paul and of Apollos and cephas these
01:14:00 are they who say they are a sum of one
01:14:03 and some of another some of Christ and
01:14:04 some of John and some of Moses some of
01:14:06 you lies some of these highest and some
01:14:07 of these Isaiah and some of Enoch but
01:14:09 received not the gospel neither
01:14:11 testimony of Jesus neither the prophets
01:14:13 nor the Everlast neither the Everlasting
01:14:14 Covenant okay so that was actually
01:14:17 that’s okay wait a minute yeah and
01:14:19 that’s like is there their period at the
01:14:21 end of that
01:14:22 yeah there is but then then it says the
01:14:24 last of all so just before that so this
01:14:27 is another area where they’re they’re
01:14:29 listening and now here’s the last group
01:14:31 last of all
01:14:33 okay
01:14:35 102 through 106 are the Simmons of
01:14:39 perdition
01:14:40 yep yep yep okay
01:14:45 and they suffer the Vengeance of Eternal
01:14:48 fire but anyways
01:14:50 um sons of perdition
01:14:52 he said they are cast down to Hell and
01:14:54 suffer the Wrath almighty God until the
01:14:56 fullness of times and Christ helps dude
01:14:58 all enemies of his feet and shallow
01:15:00 perfect to this one
01:15:05 that’s the last Eternal now we didn’t
01:15:08 see a phrase with eternal life but
01:15:11 um I do think
01:15:13 this one right here kind of really makes
01:15:16 that clear and we could go look at the
01:15:18 the descriptions of the different
01:15:19 glories but that that’s that’s Celestial
01:15:22 pretty clear that’s pretty clear that
01:15:24 that’s Celestial yeah because as if they
01:15:27 served in righteousness and true and in
01:15:29 truth unto you
01:15:31 so I I do think
01:15:33 when we go and
01:15:35 to those people and to those people all
01:15:38 Mysteries are revealed so that’s another
01:15:40 thing and that’s what he wants us to do
01:15:43 he wants us to become like him that’s I
01:15:46 mean he understands not everybody’s
01:15:47 going to but that’s actually what he’s
01:15:49 trying to do right is make everybody
01:15:51 like him and that’s what eternal life is
01:15:53 is to be like him
01:15:55 and that’s and those who are like him
01:15:57 are going to be in the celestial Camp
01:15:59 right
01:16:05 what 76 says is the promise of celestial
01:16:08 Glory
01:16:09 yeah
01:16:11 um
01:16:12 okay
01:16:14 uh I I forget how we got to on here so I
01:16:18 I I can’t unfold anymore but so that
01:16:21 might be a good time to take a break
01:16:22 unless Zach wants no and now I think
01:16:25 it’s another thing would be a good plan
01:16:26 for soccer
01:16:37 it’s like almost 40 something 40.
01:16:41 yeah okay so I was looking in there
01:16:45 we’re gonna do this before we go do our
01:16:48 little segment
01:16:49 okay
01:16:55 um
01:16:59 call it outer okay so here we go yeah
01:17:04 they’re into outer Darkness
01:17:07 um and then it
01:17:08 and then shall it come to pass this is
01:17:11 yeah the interesting thing is this is a
01:17:13 state that is talked about between death
01:17:16 and the resurrection
01:17:20 okay I remember I remember there’s
01:17:24 there was I read it earlier today
01:17:27 there was a statement
01:17:30 he says like
01:17:33 like no it it’s not revealed what
01:17:37 happens to
01:17:39 okay to the evil to the wicked no the
01:17:43 very Wicked yeah yeah yeah not exactly
01:17:46 not exactly right not mainly and the
01:17:50 reason given is because
01:17:52 in this chapter I think
01:18:00 okay I don’t think that one’s it
01:18:04 or maybe that’s indeed so now whether
01:18:07 the souls and the bodies of Those whom
01:18:09 have been spoken shall all be reunited
01:18:13 at once the wicked as well as the
01:18:15 righteous I do not say so he um he
01:18:18 doesn’t know about the different uh
01:18:19 resurrections right at this time yet but
01:18:23 it suffice that I say that they
01:18:25 all come forth in other words their
01:18:28 resurrections cometh to pass before the
01:18:31 resurrection of those who die after the
01:18:33 resurrection of the Messiah
01:18:36 uh but that’s probably not what you’re
01:18:37 looking for but behold an awful myth
01:18:40 cometh upon the wicked for they die as
01:18:43 two things pertaining to things of
01:18:45 righteousness so you know spiritual
01:18:47 death they are unclean and no unclean
01:18:52 thing can inherit the kingdom of Elohim
01:18:54 but they are cast out and co-signed to
01:18:57 partake of the fruits of their labors or
01:19:00 their Works which have been evil and
01:19:03 they drink the dreads of a bitter cup
01:19:07 so I’m I’m I do you have another keyword
01:19:13 I’m not sure okay maybe we can find it
01:19:16 later
01:19:16 we can find it later
01:19:20 okay all right let’s let’s stop putting
01:19:23 that off then I’m sorry
01:19:28 so while we were doing our Sacrament I
01:19:31 had a little thought that goes along
01:19:32 with our conversation
01:19:35 um on on the word place okay from DNC 76
01:19:41 um when someone says the expression know
01:19:43 your place
01:19:45 they’re not talking about your location
01:19:47 right they’re talking about the pecking
01:19:50 order as in
01:19:52 hi Ricky the hierarchy I’m above you you
01:19:56 need to listen to me know your place
01:19:57 right
01:20:02 I mean I I think though initially even
01:20:06 why I needed to go look at the
01:20:07 dictionary definition for the most part
01:20:10 when we hear the word place we think
01:20:12 location but even that little expression
01:20:15 shows us not always
01:20:17 the case right we but that is the
01:20:19 default you know just like just like
01:20:23 when people think and they think like a
01:20:26 finish like something’s finished
01:20:29 but that’s not always the case as ends
01:20:32 also
01:20:33 uh
01:20:35 indicate purpose objective
01:20:38 goal and so when Jesus Christ says that
01:20:41 the law in me has an end
01:20:44 he’s not talking about how it ends with
01:20:48 him he’s talking about how he gives the
01:20:52 law purpose
01:20:54 right and I agree with that I I would go
01:20:57 a slightly different angle
01:21:00 look at me this is what the law points
01:21:03 to
01:21:04 yeah this eye show yeah that’s actually
01:21:08 part of the law because we are supposed
01:21:11 to become like him right and that is
01:21:13 really the purpose oh yeah
01:21:15 that that really gets that really gets
01:21:17 down to that thing of destination Point
01:21:19 as in ends justify the means destination
01:21:23 Point sure I mean generally that the
01:21:26 occult uses that and well but I’m just
01:21:28 I’m just using that as an example
01:21:33 Stephen I know I know of that of how
01:21:36 that definition of it and is use yeah
01:21:42 yeah yeah I know I I just
01:21:45 um
01:21:46 Yeshua is the ends as in we are supposed
01:21:50 to be like him
01:21:52 yeah
01:21:53 he is the goal
01:21:55 he is
01:21:58 but in terms of this the ends don’t
01:22:00 justify the means
01:22:03 the ends and the means have both been
01:22:06 set forth correct yeah
01:22:10 so that’s the so that is the uh that is
01:22:13 the difference there between
01:22:16 uh
01:22:18 between the the powers of light between
01:22:22 between the powers the power of Christ
01:22:25 onto salvation and the power of the
01:22:28 devil under destruction because the
01:22:30 power of the devil under destruction
01:22:31 justifies whatever means bring about the
01:22:35 desired ends whereas the power
01:22:38 of uh whereas the power on salvation
01:22:44 we surrender
01:22:47 we we surrender our agency and do
01:22:50 perform
01:22:51 and are obedient to the means that he
01:22:54 has set forth which produces the end to
01:22:58 which we
01:22:59 want to go
01:23:01 correct yeah I mean even so along those
01:23:05 lines I will share something real quick
01:23:07 fulfill goes along with that and fulfill
01:23:09 is an interesting word but uh you don’t
01:23:13 want to do too much on this right now
01:23:14 but I I do want to share one
01:23:17 that
01:23:20 um mosiah
01:23:24 1 4 is an interesting uh verse and with
01:23:28 regarding to fulfill
01:23:31 um you want to read that Zach for us
01:23:33 real quick
01:23:35 thank you
01:23:39 or we’re not possible that our father
01:23:42 Lehi would ever remembered all these
01:23:44 things to have taught them to his
01:23:46 children except they were for the help
01:23:49 of these plates
01:23:51 or he haven’t been for he having been
01:23:53 taught online in the language of the
01:23:55 Egyptians
01:23:57 therefore he could read these Engravings
01:23:59 and teach them to his children
01:24:01 that thereby they could teach them to
01:24:03 their children
01:24:05 and so fulfilling the Commandments of
01:24:07 God even bound to this present time
01:24:10 so
01:24:11 um
01:24:13 to me there’s a lot in this first but
01:24:16 one thing I want to bring out is
01:24:18 fulfilling his teaching
01:24:22 well the other thing you know the other
01:24:24 verse 5 is also a powerful it is also a
01:24:28 power pack verse too for uh okay sure we
01:24:31 can go over how we uh
01:24:36 how we know the communications of God
01:24:39 okay and where the Mysteries are found
01:24:41 there’s just so much in there
01:24:44 um
01:24:46 if I can get there sometimes to zoom uh
01:24:50 Bard does funny things on me
01:24:53 foreign
01:24:59 I say unto you my sons were it not for
01:25:02 these things the brass plates which
01:25:04 which contains Torah
01:25:06 which have been kept and preserved by
01:25:08 the hand of Elohim that we might read
01:25:11 and understand his Mysteries oh wait a
01:25:14 minute
01:25:14 it’s like the Mysteries are contained on
01:25:18 the brass plates
01:25:20 and have his Commandments always before
01:25:24 our eyes we’re always supposed to be
01:25:26 thinking about them right
01:25:27 and Desiring them because and so in the
01:25:31 heberic thought and in the scriptures
01:25:33 desires have to
01:25:35 our eyes are symbolic of our desires and
01:25:38 it goes back to the Garden before Eve
01:25:40 partooketh the fruit she saw it and
01:25:44 desired it
01:25:45 the eyes have to do with desire so we
01:25:48 have to desire
01:25:51 yahweh’s laws okay always before our
01:25:54 eyes as in we’re always Desiring it that
01:25:57 even our fathers would have dwindled in
01:26:00 unbelief and we should have been like on
01:26:03 to our Brethren the lamanites who know
01:26:05 nothing concerning these things uh the
01:26:08 Commandments and the Mysteries because
01:26:09 it’s plural there right or even do not
01:26:12 believe them when they are taught them
01:26:15 because of the traditions of their
01:26:18 fathers or the traditions of men which
01:26:20 are not correct
01:26:22 so yeah so the point is is that when we
01:26:27 read the scriptures
01:26:29 uh is that the Mysteries are preserved
01:26:32 the Mysteries are preserved in the
01:26:33 scriptures
01:26:35 um now the thing is is that
01:26:38 it’s up to each of us to choose
01:26:42 we have to choose to believe that these
01:26:46 things still exist these things still
01:26:48 exist there
01:26:50 and belief is not something that belief
01:26:53 is not
01:26:54 I can I can say things until I’m blue in
01:26:57 the face
01:26:58 often have
01:27:00 but I feel your pain there Ben but
01:27:05 I can’t make anyone choose to believe
01:27:10 that God is powerful enough to preserve
01:27:13 his mysteries in spite of the
01:27:14 interpolations of him I can’t make you
01:27:17 choose to believe
01:27:20 that
01:27:21 um
01:27:24 that the records have been preserved by
01:27:27 the hand of God
01:27:28 so
01:27:30 um just to go along with that
01:27:33 um
01:27:33 I think it’s Alma
01:27:35 37
01:27:38 oops all right well we’ll just do two
01:27:41 clicks
01:27:43 um
01:27:45 so the passage of small and simple
01:27:48 things in Alma 37
01:27:51 it is his Commandments because it’s
01:27:54 talking about the brass plates and it’s
01:27:57 a tying to the Brass plates to the small
01:27:59 and simple things to bring about
01:28:04 to things are great things brought to
01:28:07 pass
01:28:08 and this whole section is talking about
01:28:11 the brass plates which contains
01:28:15 and most particularly how he was to care
01:28:18 for the brass place so that the
01:28:21 instructions contained on them would
01:28:23 remain clear and legible
01:28:26 um correct and that they’ll come forth
01:28:28 in the latter day
01:28:30 mm-hmm
01:28:31 because what’s on these brass plates
01:28:33 will help people in the latter days to
01:28:35 repent
01:28:37 now we’re repenting is correcting our
01:28:40 wrong Behavior now what’s in Torah the
01:28:45 first five books and the rest of the Old
01:28:46 Testament the Tanakh I I don’t think
01:28:49 there’s any argument there that what is
01:28:51 taught in those records are pointed at
01:28:54 yahweh’s Torah
01:28:56 and into this chapter it states that
01:29:00 when they come back brass plates hasn’t
01:29:03 been translated yet it will be
01:29:06 um in the future as is stated in this
01:29:09 chapter will bring people to repentance
01:29:12 meaning it’s still valid
01:29:15 Torah is still valid
01:29:18 and while there have and while there
01:29:20 have been books taken out
01:29:24 when Joseph Smith went to do his
01:29:27 translations
01:29:29 or his inspiration or his inspiration
01:29:35 it’s inspired restoration when he went
01:29:38 to do his inspired restoration
01:29:42 there he did
01:29:44 next to nothing
01:29:46 in the section of the Old Testament that
01:29:50 contains the law
01:29:55 Deuteronomy has one change
01:30:01 so you mean the dura armrest might be
01:30:03 wrong
01:30:07 in addition
01:30:08 or that or that they
01:30:11 the what I I’m not saying what this
01:30:15 means I’m just saying what I have
01:30:17 observed sure well uh
01:30:21 that the silver scroll disproves the
01:30:24 deuteronomous theory and these
01:30:27 modifications that a lot of people use
01:30:29 to justify not keeping the law
01:30:32 the silver scroll go look it up okay
01:30:36 um
01:30:37 is silver scroll disproves that theory
01:30:42 um but yeah you can actually you can
01:30:44 actually Google
01:30:45 Google or use your favorite search
01:30:48 engine of choice look up silver scroll
01:30:51 the silver scroll
01:30:54 you can find out anything and find out
01:30:56 anything anything there is to know about
01:30:59 yeah I mean you could even just do it on
01:31:01 uh YouTube which is not really a search
01:31:03 engine but you know people talking about
01:31:04 things and it is it is a search engine
01:31:07 of sorts searching yeah yeah yeah the
01:31:11 the search part is but I mean it just in
01:31:13 general like Google or being uh it’s a
01:31:16 little different right but anyways
01:31:19 um just go search it wherever you want
01:31:21 including YouTube so you can go listen
01:31:23 to it
01:31:24 um the silver scroll
01:31:26 is an interesting
01:31:29 archaeological find that disproves a lot
01:31:31 of these interesting theories people use
01:31:34 to try to just keeping the law and the
01:31:38 Dead Sea Scrolls are also the Dead Sea
01:31:40 Scrolls are interesting with regards to
01:31:43 um
01:31:46 what you find in their
01:31:48 is
01:31:49 what you find in the Dead Sea Scrolls is
01:31:52 essene thought on um
01:31:55 essene thought on the law
01:31:57 but they’re they’re an interesting
01:32:00 they’re an interesting commentary
01:32:03 um
01:32:04 given by the man who taught John the bat
01:32:08 largely given from the man in touch on
01:32:10 the back
01:32:11 but
01:32:12 so I I don’t know the timing I don’t
01:32:15 know if the teacher of righteousness
01:32:17 personally taught John the Baptist or
01:32:19 not I don’t know if you know anything on
01:32:21 the timing on that
01:32:22 well the the
01:32:26 it could the timing on that could be a
01:32:28 little off because he was the guy who
01:32:30 founded he’s basically the guy who
01:32:31 founded bseu remember right I do believe
01:32:34 John the Baptist was an essene and I
01:32:36 think there’s some good research on that
01:32:38 that supports that yeah and that’s
01:32:41 actually one of the connections that uh
01:32:44 the book that the so-called book of
01:32:49 um
01:32:51 uses to build its credibility as this
01:32:54 idea of the essenes or set apart ones
01:32:58 um coming to visit John and John telling
01:33:02 them where to go
01:33:04 um
01:33:05 anyways I I
01:33:07 um I I there’s things and the the best
01:33:12 thing about the Dead Sea Scrolls is kind
01:33:14 of keeping a record of
01:33:17 the actual scriptures some of the
01:33:20 commentaries are good and some of it is
01:33:22 bad
01:33:23 yeah some of it’s well the thing about
01:33:26 the the thing about the essenes is by
01:33:28 the time John the Baptist and by the
01:33:30 time of price they were very much uh
01:33:32 almost like sorts
01:33:34 yeah um they view themselves is better
01:33:37 than the rest of the world they kept
01:33:39 themselves separate and if by chance
01:33:41 somebody happened to smell their commune
01:33:43 and walk up to it
01:33:45 um
01:33:49 then they could potentially be brought
01:33:51 in but um
01:33:56 it sounds a little bit like Alma 30.
01:33:59 um but yeah yeah so yeah and uh and you
01:34:03 were not supposed to those who were
01:34:05 essenes were not supposed to even
01:34:07 interact even with the Jews that were
01:34:11 not ashamed yeah they went a little too
01:34:14 far uh kind of like a restorationist
01:34:17 that’s kind of what I’m bringing out
01:34:18 with the album 31 but
01:34:21 um yeah so I I think that a lot of
01:34:24 people
01:34:25 um I mean there’s good information to be
01:34:27 found on the Dead Sea Scrolls and I I
01:34:29 actually have uh I actually I actually
01:34:33 have um I actually have in my own
01:34:36 Library a
01:34:38 collection a a collection of writings
01:34:41 from the Dead Sea Scrolls
01:34:44 um so so two things I find interesting
01:34:47 off top my head from the Dead Sea
01:34:49 Scrolls one the new polygamy was a sin
01:34:52 that’s in the Disney scroll writings
01:34:55 um and then second another one that I
01:34:59 find fascinating on the calendar is they
01:35:02 went by sundial
01:35:05 further praying and thus yeah but they
01:35:09 also went by they also went they also
01:35:13 did not buy the Looney solar calendar
01:35:15 yeah the calendar in general is is wrong
01:35:18 I I do agree with that but I do I’m
01:35:21 trying to bring out the one part that I
01:35:22 do agree with is their Sundial
01:35:25 um yeah which is why I do sun rise
01:35:29 instead of dawn like other people uh who
01:35:33 believe the lunar solar calendar because
01:35:35 of the World’s Last Chance
01:35:38 um because you’re going by the Light
01:35:40 and aka the direct sunlight that causes
01:35:43 the Sundial to work yeah it has to be
01:35:47 enough light to cause the sun yeah the
01:35:50 dispersed light that can happen at civil
01:35:53 Dawns not enough to cause a shadow for a
01:35:55 sundial to work and then there’s
01:35:59 um
01:36:01 astronomical Dawn which World’s Last
01:36:03 Chance actually uses which is even
01:36:05 darker so you don’t get any Shadows but
01:36:08 you don’t even get Shadows with civil
01:36:09 Dawn but anyways that’s another subject
01:36:12 but just
01:36:13 um for me sundials is important thing
01:36:16 for yahweh’s calendar because it’s using
01:36:19 the Sun
01:36:20 which causes the Shadows to know when
01:36:23 the 12 hours of the day are
01:36:25 but yeah but but like I said there’s
01:36:28 some interesting things in the Dead Sea
01:36:30 Scrolls the silver scroll is the silver
01:36:33 scroll really kind of um
01:36:37 not destroys the deuteronomous theory
01:36:39 that’s what it does yeah it knocks it
01:36:43 knocks a lot of Duty well the thing is
01:36:46 is a lot of deuteronomists will simply a
01:36:49 lot of deuteronomous Scholars will
01:36:50 simply ignore that it exists
01:36:53 well of course they do because it proves
01:36:55 them wrong and they want their paycheck
01:36:58 or they want to break the law right well
01:37:00 the whole the thing is the thing is that
01:37:03 a lot of people assume that Scholars are
01:37:06 doing non-biased work and that’s just
01:37:09 not the case because Scholars the
01:37:11 scholars study Scholars do their studies
01:37:14 for whoever’s paying for them to study
01:37:16 oh yeah just like scientists
01:37:18 right this is what this is what they
01:37:21 this is what they do this is this is why
01:37:25 you know this is why even those some
01:37:28 Scholars have posited that the Bible is
01:37:31 incurably flawed and we shouldn’t trust
01:37:34 that yeah
01:37:36 that uh this is why I trust the word of
01:37:39 God over the word of Scholars yeah I
01:37:42 everybody has a bias
01:37:45 the question is not whether they admit
01:37:47 it or not and are they honest with their
01:37:50 scholarship and showing their sources
01:37:52 because
01:37:54 um and letting people make their own
01:37:56 decisions with the information right but
01:37:59 everybody has a biased
01:38:00 I’ll be honest I have a biased I believe
01:38:03 in the Book of Mormon and and Torah and
01:38:06 Yahweh
01:38:08 um
01:38:08 but I do believe I have a lot of support
01:38:11 for my bias
01:38:13 um as I do my research but for me
01:38:17 for me my bias also includes the early
01:38:21 restoration
01:38:23 okay correct so same here in large part
01:38:26 yeah
01:38:32 and modified
01:38:34 um but I yeah anyways that’s a whole
01:38:37 other subject speaking of the
01:38:39 restoration
01:38:40 um unless you want to say some more on
01:38:42 that that could lead into another
01:38:43 subject if you’re okay with that oh I’m
01:38:46 absolutely okay with that okay
01:38:48 absolutely I’ve been BS you know I’ve
01:38:51 been BSN on Scrolls for 15 minutes now
01:38:53 that’s good yeah that’s fine well you
01:38:56 were saying some good stuff so that’s
01:38:57 fine but
01:38:59 um
01:39:00 foreign
01:39:03 there’s a general pattern I see in the
01:39:06 scriptures in a lot of locations that
01:39:08 there’s and these are my terms and
01:39:10 partly I use these terms because I have
01:39:12 a hard
01:39:13 time remembering the other ones and
01:39:16 saying them correctly but there’s the
01:39:19 the Forerunner which I believe is Joseph
01:39:22 Smith or the
01:39:25 Elijah I’m I’m hoping that’s the right
01:39:27 one
01:39:29 right and then there’s the mighty one
01:39:33 which I is the
01:39:36 uh Elias I hopefully I said that one
01:39:39 right yes and then there’s the Redeemer
01:39:41 one which is what Yeshua is will be at
01:39:46 what he was at the first coming and will
01:39:48 be at the second coming Okay so
01:39:51 on multiple and I know two off top my
01:39:55 head of
01:39:57 forerunners or the Elijah ones
01:40:01 they
01:40:03 removed
01:40:05 a famine right so
01:40:08 the first one is actually Elijah right
01:40:12 in the Old Testament where the most
01:40:14 people will call the Foreigner the
01:40:16 Elijah right he removed a famine in the
01:40:21 land
01:40:24 Nephi in Helaman I think it’s 10 11.
01:40:30 chapters human 10 11. right I I believe
01:40:34 that Nephi is the Forerunner or the uh
01:40:39 Elijah and in his cycle of three okay
01:40:44 and his son knee five minutes it’s the
01:40:47 mighty one
01:40:48 okay yeah let’s see
01:40:51 um as I’ve kind of brought up talked
01:40:53 about him about some other patterns that
01:40:54 I see in the mining and strong one that
01:40:56 is exposed through him in the Book of
01:40:58 Mormon but
01:41:01 um
01:41:01 the Nephi and helium and 10 and 11.
01:41:05 guess what he removes a famine correct
01:41:09 yeah
01:41:11 no
01:41:13 the only famine I know that Jose Smith
01:41:17 removed because I see Joseph Smith as
01:41:20 the Elijah
01:41:22 the Forerunner okay
01:41:26 the only famine I know of that he
01:41:28 removed is a famine of hearing the word
01:41:32 of Elohim
01:41:34 prophets okay
01:41:36 oh now that’s actually interesting twice
01:41:40 a physical famine once a spiritual
01:41:41 family third time but
01:41:44 according to the rule of Three’s third
01:41:46 time is slightly the third time the
01:41:49 first two times I this is a theater rule
01:41:53 a rule theater that when something
01:41:55 occurs three times in a particular play
01:41:58 the first two times are exactly the same
01:42:01 the third time is different slightly
01:42:03 they could probably get that pattern
01:42:05 from other places but I I didn’t I
01:42:08 didn’t know that but that would in this
01:42:10 case it definitely fits right well it’s
01:42:13 a it’s something that’s used to convey
01:42:15 it’s something that’s used to convey
01:42:16 spiritual truths and theater it’s often
01:42:18 used to convey comedic truth
01:42:21 um
01:42:22 uh and so you so the third time is the
01:42:26 third time is different more bombastic
01:42:28 and just makes everybody die laughing
01:42:30 falling on the floor
01:42:32 um but yeah
01:42:34 so in in addition to this and I think
01:42:37 this supports this but um
01:42:39 so Joseph of Egypt okay
01:42:42 is a type of the Messiah he’s actually
01:42:47 is a type okay
01:42:49 um see in a little bit or in fact maybe
01:42:52 we’ll just pause because exactly one
01:42:54 right
01:42:56 so
01:42:57 um
01:42:59 so having side subjects during pausing
01:43:02 confuses things a little bit but I do
01:43:04 believe where I was at before we paused
01:43:07 is that I was
01:43:09 starting to bring I brought out how I
01:43:12 believe how
01:43:14 the four wonders or the Elijah’s
01:43:20 are stopping a fast I mean stopping a
01:43:23 famine okay
01:43:25 and the only famine that I am aware of
01:43:28 that Joseph Smith stop was hearing the
01:43:33 words of Elohim okay
01:43:35 now
01:43:37 um that’s symbolic and I and Ben was
01:43:40 going off how the it’s that’s doing two
01:43:43 physicals and then the and the spiritual
01:43:46 is a theoretical I’m sure I’m saying
01:43:49 that word wrong yeah it’s the it’s it’s
01:43:52 like according to the rule of Threes in
01:43:54 theater and comedy wherein you do one
01:43:57 thing exactly the same way twice then a
01:43:59 third time is Amplified
01:44:01 um I guess in this amplification would
01:44:04 be a spiritual one right right
01:44:09 now to go along with that
01:44:12 um
01:44:12 so I I know a lot of people think that
01:44:16 Joseph Smith is the Messiah Ben Joseph
01:44:20 he’s not okay
01:44:23 Messiah Ben Joseph is yeshua’s first
01:44:27 coming and the reason it has that title
01:44:29 is because it’s patterned after Joseph’s
01:44:33 of Egypt in his histories that we have
01:44:35 in the Old Testament specifically Torah
01:44:39 in Genesis right and we could another
01:44:42 time go over tons of examples in this
01:44:45 okay but I’m going to focus on one I
01:44:47 think helps
01:44:49 um
01:44:50 show this okay so the the dream of the
01:44:53 Pharaoh right
01:44:55 the
01:44:57 the seven calves and the Seven
01:45:01 um stalks of wheat
01:45:03 okay
01:45:05 so the Messiah
01:45:10 made sure that there would be layaway
01:45:12 enough
01:45:13 word of God which is bread which is made
01:45:18 from wheat right
01:45:20 okay
01:45:22 and the cow actually I would say refers
01:45:26 to the Messiah also but we won’t get
01:45:28 into that too much but right now I’m
01:45:30 focusing on the famine so there were
01:45:33 seven years and seven is symbolic for a
01:45:37 complete whole enough
01:45:40 seven years of plenty
01:45:45 and then seven years of famine which
01:45:51 would be
01:45:53 um if I’m doing my math right
01:45:56 anyways I’m not going to worry about
01:45:57 that math but it it would be one
01:46:00 thousand
01:46:02 and 800 years okay
01:46:05 um give or take
01:46:07 um after the Messiah okay and then
01:46:12 that
01:46:14 famine was broken
01:46:18 with the new prophet
01:46:21 Joseph Smith
01:46:23 so but
01:46:25 um
01:46:27 I I do think that a lot of people
01:46:30 interpret us the fastest supposed to
01:46:34 happen as a physical fast okay
01:46:39 I I’m postulating two things here one as
01:46:44 I see the pattern in Scriptures it is
01:46:47 the Forerunner the Elijah that stops the
01:46:50 fast
01:46:54 um Smith
01:46:57 right
01:46:59 I
01:47:02 actually don’t think there’s going to be
01:47:03 another
01:47:04 famine
01:47:07 there might be but I the way that I see
01:47:10 things with this pattern of the
01:47:13 Forerunner the mighty one and the
01:47:16 Redeemer
01:47:18 it’s the Forerunner that gets rid of the
01:47:22 fast or the famine sorry and
01:47:25 that was Joseph Smith
01:47:28 that was 200 give or take right or
01:47:31 actually just take uh years ago
01:47:40 right
01:47:43 no I I could be stretching some
01:47:46 um and this is me making connections
01:47:48 myself but I do think it fits
01:47:52 okay oh yeah that’s interesting it’s
01:47:56 interesting thoughts
01:48:03 um but anyways that that was my one
01:48:05 thought I wanted to share about the
01:48:09 the three servant pattern so the idea of
01:48:12 being uh well
01:48:15 now the we can in order to establish
01:48:20 this pattern we’d have to have Okay
01:48:23 um
01:48:25 so
01:48:27 in the G in the Jesus portion we’re
01:48:30 going to say that the teacher of
01:48:32 righteousness yeah
01:48:35 first coming
01:48:37 um time it was the teacher of
01:48:38 righteousness that was the Forerunner or
01:48:40 Elijah uh John the Baptist was the
01:48:44 mighty and strong one or the Elisha
01:48:47 and obviously Yeshua was the uh Redeemer
01:48:53 now so let’s so okay so let’s take this
01:48:57 back a little bit and clearly in the on
01:49:00 the new world you have Nephi as the
01:49:02 Forerunner need fight the Nephi the son
01:49:05 of Nephi is the mighty and strong
01:49:07 according to as of what you have talked
01:49:10 about so far tonight correct
01:49:17 uh now as we go back farther now we have
01:49:20 you said one thing just real quick on
01:49:23 the the teacher of righteousness I would
01:49:26 say that he would be like in in the same
01:49:29 way as Joseph Smith did as in getting
01:49:32 people to hear the word of God because
01:49:34 in generally speaking in
01:49:37 uh Christendom
01:49:39 there was no profits for 400 years
01:49:43 before the Messiah and so there was
01:49:46 just like with Joseph Smith
01:49:50 right there no
01:49:53 um
01:49:55 the the Apocrypha there’s some good
01:49:58 things in there but there I wouldn’t say
01:50:00 there was actually any
01:50:03 full-fledged profits in there okay well
01:50:06 I I find as I find Ezra’s Eagle pretty
01:50:09 compelling
01:50:11 it’s lining up pretty well as we see
01:50:14 things unfold
01:50:16 um so I mean do you think the teacher of
01:50:18 righteousness just before the actual
01:50:20 real Redeemer he was restoring hearing
01:50:24 the word of God just as with Joseph
01:50:25 Smith
01:50:31 famine then but I I don’t know that
01:50:33 history very well so I I can’t thank you
01:50:35 well and the thing is the second estrus
01:50:39 is written by the same person who wrote
01:50:40 Ezra in
01:50:43 the in the Bible
01:50:45 so
01:50:47 it’s the same Ezra as Ezra in the Bible
01:50:51 who’s the source of that prophecy so
01:50:55 okay
01:50:57 um and so that’s uh so there are some
01:51:01 things of actual there are some things
01:51:03 of actual value
01:51:05 oh yeah I’m not
01:51:08 saying they’re not value I do think
01:51:10 they’re they’re good and when we were um
01:51:12 fellowshipping I I brought some stuff
01:51:14 out from Dave yeah that’s true that’s
01:51:16 true so I’m not saying don’t study it I
01:51:19 just think it’s at a different caliber
01:51:21 than the Tanakh right okay right I I get
01:51:26 you I’ll get you
01:51:28 um
01:51:29 so so yeah but yeah I mean generally
01:51:32 speaking
01:51:33 generally speaking I can see what you’re
01:51:34 saying there but let’s go back to Joseph
01:51:36 Joseph is your Redeemer language Joseph
01:51:40 of Egypt or Joseph
01:51:43 okay Joseph in Egypt yeah easy Redeemer
01:51:47 type
01:51:48 who is the mighty and strong one for him
01:51:51 uh so I I actually would not put Joseph
01:51:55 of Egypt in the the three servants
01:51:58 pattern myself I think he’s just the
01:52:01 type of the first coming
01:52:04 okay
01:52:05 I see that in multiple of the histories
01:52:09 the facts of the matter but okay so okay
01:52:14 Joseph Egypt not in the three servant
01:52:16 type Moses is yes
01:52:19 um Moses is the mighty and strong one in
01:52:22 in that so who’s his who’s his
01:52:24 Forerunner
01:52:25 uh jeffro
01:52:26 yeah yep there you go that works and the
01:52:31 Redeemer is Joshua which is actually
01:52:34 yahshua when you go to the Hebrew yeah
01:52:37 yeah yeah
01:52:41 which is basically another way of saying
01:52:45 what is it what is what is put into the
01:52:48 Greek is Jesus yeah he
01:52:52 uh Moses renamed him also to that yeah I
01:52:56 don’t remember what his original name
01:52:58 was but Moses renamed
01:53:01 uh Joshua which is the same Hebrew name
01:53:05 that Yeshua had it’s just I’m not so
01:53:09 worried about saying that one yeah
01:53:12 yeah so yeah so so Joshua actually
01:53:16 redeems the promise of the land
01:53:20 yeah
01:53:22 um
01:53:25 that’s really that’s real yeah so that
01:53:28 yeah so that’s quick so that’s that’s
01:53:30 we’re all yeah so I can see that
01:53:34 um oh you know one thing just thinking
01:53:35 out loud jeffrow
01:53:39 um
01:53:41 um so Moses came from a land that was to
01:53:44 some extent was having a famine of
01:53:47 hearing the word of God right
01:53:49 okay they were in slavery because they
01:53:53 were breaking the law I mean that’s
01:53:55 what’s going to happen right it doesn’t
01:53:57 actually I I don’t think it actually
01:53:59 comes out and specifically says that but
01:54:02 I think it’s a very well
01:54:04 implied and it can be tied to that
01:54:07 um but actually it says that explicitly
01:54:09 in Deuteronomy 28. oh it does okay very
01:54:12 good then I I just with that if we break
01:54:16 the law that we’re going to be put into
01:54:17 servitude
01:54:20 I agree with that but it doesn’t state
01:54:23 it
01:54:24 for the people that Moses left but it’s
01:54:29 in because okay so once again
01:54:35 let’s go back
01:54:38 with this idea that Adam had tore up
01:54:41 okay the same promises same covenants
01:54:44 are all there oh I agree with that yeah
01:54:47 so they’re they’re anybody who have
01:54:50 anybody who’s had the law of God is
01:54:52 aware of the promises and the of the
01:54:55 blessings and the cursings associated
01:54:57 with that law sure that Covenant
01:55:00 if we break the Covenant we will we will
01:55:04 find ourselves going into captivity and
01:55:06 if we still do not repent we will find
01:55:08 ourselves destroyed correct I agree
01:55:12 I’m just saying Tor doesn’t specifically
01:55:15 state that about the people uh during
01:55:18 Moses’s time but I I mean deuteron 28
01:55:23 specifically states the principle right
01:55:27 but doesn’t specifically tie it to that
01:55:30 time frame
01:55:36 [Music]
01:55:38 a little bit
01:55:40 um jeffrow helps Moses get out of that
01:55:45 famine
01:55:49 and he is the Forerunner the Elijah
01:55:55 the interesting thing is
01:55:57 is that the history of Moses’s
01:56:00 the history of Moses priesthood is given
01:56:02 to us in Doctrine covenants section 84.
01:56:05 really uh
01:56:08 shows us you want me to go there
01:56:12 uh who shows us that God really has his
01:56:15 law and his feelings have been
01:56:17 not just with Israel
01:56:19 oh yeah yeah I mean right
01:56:24 he was in Israelite and he gave Prophecy
01:56:27 from Yahweh
01:56:29 and he was not an Israelite when the
01:56:31 Israelites were there
01:56:33 right okay so here we get the the
01:56:36 prophecy of this the star is from
01:56:39 balaam’s about a fallen Prophet right
01:56:41 but anyways now for verily thus said
01:56:44 primarily uh for barely this generation
01:56:47 shall not pass away until in house until
01:56:49 they build unto the Lord and a cloud
01:56:50 shall rest upon it to which Cloud shall
01:56:53 even shall be even in which Cloud shall
01:56:56 be even the glory of the Lord which
01:56:57 shall fill the house and the sons of
01:56:59 Moses according to the holy priesthood
01:57:00 which he received under the hand of his
01:57:02 father father-in-law Jethro and Jethro
01:57:05 received it under the hand of Caleb and
01:57:07 Caleb received it under the hand of
01:57:08 Elijah and a lie who under the hand of
01:57:10 Jeremy and Jeremy under the hand God and
01:57:12 God unto the hand you say us and he says
01:57:15 received it under the hand of God
01:57:18 Isaiah also lived in the hand in the
01:57:21 days of Abraham and was blessed of him
01:57:27 so this is a case in point of two
01:57:31 different peoples having the priesthood
01:57:33 and the law that is associated with it
01:57:37 at the same time
01:57:41 you know I mean this is just a side
01:57:45 track so I
01:57:47 um
01:57:48 I’m gonna share a screen sorry I’m
01:57:51 sidetracking though but
01:57:53 um
01:57:57 look at that
01:58:00 it’s mentioned right there
01:58:02 is that other line of other priesthood
01:58:05 line right
01:58:08 I just I know
01:58:10 some people
01:58:12 uh I think it’s this one that they claim
01:58:15 this is a different
01:58:17 um as in to die to discredit Joseph
01:58:19 Smith they’re saying that’s a another
01:58:21 translation of Isaiah
01:58:24 where I just I just made this connection
01:58:26 while you’re reading that and that’s why
01:58:28 I’m bringing it up no I say it I say it
01:58:32 right is you say this it’s that one
01:58:34 right it’s the one that’s from uh dnc84
01:58:37 at least that’s how I’m reading it right
01:58:39 now and it makes sense because it’s
01:58:40 showing that other line
01:58:42 yeah
01:58:43 and so but what you see here is that
01:58:47 there are people with whom God has had
01:58:50 dealings and has given his law
01:58:52 who are
01:58:55 outside of Israel
01:58:57 yeah
01:59:00 and if he’s done it what and if he’s
01:59:02 done it once he if he’s done it once he
01:59:04 could have done it a hundred times
01:59:07 yeah the the the records we have in the
01:59:11 scriptures are not complete
01:59:14 their their records to help us learn
01:59:17 yahweh’s ways and these are the ones
01:59:21 that are focused on I think is mostly
01:59:24 because of the Covenant with Abraham
01:59:26 because we’re supposed primarily getting
01:59:29 it through him because of that Covenant
01:59:30 but he worked through everybody
01:59:33 right right
01:59:35 all the world every every nation
01:59:41 yeah as we The Book of Mormon tells us
01:59:43 that every nation has received the word
01:59:47 of God
01:59:48 more commonly uh spoken as all nations
01:59:52 just as it’s a little fresh from last
01:59:54 time right but yeah it’s the same thing
01:59:57 just different way of saying
02:00:00 right but yeah
02:00:03 and so I I you know I think that um
02:00:08 which
02:00:11 which in my opinion is actually a fairly
02:00:16 valid argument against
02:00:19 the necessity
02:00:24 of baptisms for the dead oh I’m proxy
02:00:28 baptisms for the dead just to clarify a
02:00:30 little bit but yes yeah proxy baptisms
02:00:33 for the death
02:00:35 um
02:00:38 well I agree I I think uh Book of Mormon
02:00:41 speaks against the throughout the whole
02:00:43 record
02:00:44 um but when you grow up thinking it’s
02:00:46 right you don’t see it right you have to
02:00:50 kind of let go of some false teachings
02:00:53 to start seeing what the Book of Mormon
02:00:54 teaches on the subject
02:00:59 so yeah anyways
02:01:02 um
02:01:03 it looked like you were thinking some
02:01:05 Zach and looking to send things up do
02:01:07 you want to share a little bit or
02:01:15 [Music]
02:01:15 um
02:01:17 that’s actually just paying attention
02:01:19 here oh okay all right what’s your
02:01:22 talking about
02:01:24 well that was my um thing about the
02:01:27 fighting and strong one or and then the
02:01:30 the three servants pattern that I wanted
02:01:32 to share that I find interesting
02:01:35 um it also
02:01:39 I think it’s part of the reason it’s
02:01:41 interesting to me anyways it goes
02:01:44 against the narrative that’s pretty much
02:01:47 everywhere
02:01:48 um that there’s going to be a famine
02:01:51 that we need to prepare for
02:01:54 I I mean I don’t know for sure but I’m
02:01:56 inclined
02:01:58 this I don’t think I don’t necessarily
02:02:01 think that I I don’t know if
02:02:06 I’m not going to negate any of Isaiah’s
02:02:08 I’m not going to try to negate any of
02:02:10 Isaiah
02:02:11 well I’m not trying to negate them I’m
02:02:14 just
02:02:16 um wondering if there’s well and I think
02:02:19 I think that there’s endangered over
02:02:21 spiritualizing things
02:02:24 um to making all into making all things
02:02:27 spiritual all right sure yeah I know we
02:02:30 uh in that we are not prepared in the
02:02:33 event that I mean the facts of the
02:02:36 matter are whether there’s an actual
02:02:38 famine or whether or whether it’s just
02:02:40 you’re not able to buy and sell without
02:02:42 the mark of the beast
02:02:45 um
02:02:47 for those people who don’t have the mark
02:02:49 of the beast
02:02:51 if they don’t know how to grow their own
02:02:53 food there’s going to be a famine for
02:02:54 them
02:02:55 well and I have uh diff
02:02:59 I don’t know if that is the correct
02:03:01 interpretation of those passages in
02:03:04 Revelations also to be honest
02:03:08 um well
02:03:10 you know I don’t know that it’s the
02:03:12 correct interpretation but I don’t know
02:03:14 that it’s incorrect
02:03:15 correct correct I I can understand that
02:03:17 and it’s probably better to be prepared
02:03:19 for what just in case
02:03:21 you better be safe than sorry buddy yeah
02:03:26 and I can understand that idea
02:03:30 um so but
02:03:33 um
02:03:36 there
02:03:38 in the scriptures there was not a famine
02:03:41 with
02:03:42 any mighty one that I can think of of a
02:03:45 physical famine or or a spiritual famine
02:03:49 with any mighty one in any of the
02:03:51 scriptures that I know off the top of my
02:03:52 head
02:03:54 well
02:04:04 be that as it may sure sure and I
02:04:07 understand on this one on this one I’m
02:04:11 afraid we’re going to have to agree to
02:04:12 this oh I’m not sure I I understand
02:04:16 I I but at the same time you can’t give
02:04:18 me one can you
02:04:20 uh I’m not saying that I can
02:04:23 um
02:04:24 but I can give you I can give you
02:04:27 prophecy after prophecy regarding famine
02:04:29 in the last day regarding
02:04:32 um
02:04:33 famine and Devastation in the last days
02:04:35 oh right and I’m just wondering it could
02:04:39 be interpretation but anyways
02:04:41 um I I would say though and I think
02:04:43 we’ll both agree on this that the more
02:04:45 important thing is to keep
02:04:47 is keep and understand God’s law then to
02:04:50 have a perfect
02:04:52 um interpretation of Prophecy right
02:04:55 because even
02:04:56 uh John the Baptist had some prophecy
02:05:00 wrong as recorded in the New Testament
02:05:02 that he thought Yeshua was coming as the
02:05:04 second coming and not the first coming
02:05:06 right right yeah that’s what we say that
02:05:08 he was the greatest prophet
02:05:10 so right
02:05:14 is a whole
02:05:17 interesting can of worms right and we
02:05:20 should not base Our Testimony off of it
02:05:24 incorrectly and here’s the greatest
02:05:26 Prophet according to Yeshua
02:05:28 misinterpreted prophecy right
02:05:32 that’s true prophecy is tricky for sure
02:05:35 yeah well and and uh and I think that
02:05:38 there are I can’t think of many worse
02:05:41 things to uh break up a fellowship over
02:05:44 than a disagreement over an
02:05:45 interpretation problems oh I I don’t
02:05:48 think we’re doing that in any way not at
02:05:50 all not at all no I’m just I’m just
02:05:53 saying I’ve seen it happen before Oh
02:05:56 okay
02:05:57 um I’ve seen it happen before where
02:05:58 people break when people break apart
02:06:01 over
02:06:02 differences in interpretation over
02:06:05 um in in terms of prophetic points or
02:06:08 what have you
02:06:10 um and I mean a lot more often than not
02:06:13 what breaks people up is when they
02:06:16 when people aren’t treating each other
02:06:17 right but for sure I I don’t think we’re
02:06:20 breaking up because of this but I know
02:06:22 more bringing out that the important
02:06:26 thing is not prophecy interpretation the
02:06:29 important thing is keeping the
02:06:31 Commandments right
02:06:33 well the thing is if you keep the
02:06:35 Commandments it will be well with you
02:06:36 regardless of how the prophecy plays out
02:06:38 correct
02:06:40 uh and
02:06:42 also if you keep the Commandments you’ll
02:06:46 we have what you need to recognize the
02:06:49 true servants right because they will
02:06:52 tell you to keep the law
02:06:56 um instead of just telling you to do
02:06:57 whatever you want do it that will that’s
02:07:00 the whole world or give me your money
02:07:03 and I’ll tell you everything as well in
02:07:05 Zion right
02:07:07 um elimin 15 I think on that one anyways
02:07:13 um
02:07:14 but yeah I agree
02:07:15 prophecy can be tricky for sure
02:07:20 yeah
02:07:21 yeah I I generally and I generally uh I
02:07:26 generally tend to side with Joseph Smith
02:07:28 when he says that
02:07:31 a false belief is uh a false belief is a
02:07:34 lot easier to get over than uh
02:07:37 basically
02:07:38 and don’t excommunicate a man or make
02:07:41 him a sinner for a false belief
02:07:43 excommunications
02:07:45 [Music]
02:07:46 um
02:07:48 and it was something that that’s
02:07:50 actually in Joseph Smith papers and then
02:07:52 paraphrasing a lot but uh I might have
02:07:55 that one let me
02:07:57 see
02:07:59 so we get the I I I recently read that
02:08:02 one
02:08:03 [Music]
02:08:09 I think it’s is it just
02:08:19 I uh if a man preaches you doctrines
02:08:22 contrary to the Bible Book of Mormon or
02:08:24 doctor
02:08:24 no that’s not that one so it’s not
02:08:27 that’s not the one it was it was about a
02:08:30 gentleman
02:08:31 basically a gentleman had a false
02:08:33 interpretation of the prophecy of Daniel
02:08:35 and some and some of the members of the
02:08:37 church wanted to excommunicate and
02:08:39 excommunicate him over it because he’d
02:08:42 been teaching it a lot
02:08:44 and
02:08:47 it didn’t doesn’t it go like um
02:08:49 I didn’t like I didn’t I don’t like
02:08:52 that he was brought forced to
02:08:55 it
02:08:56 I don’t know something like that
02:09:00 no it’s uh
02:09:04 dang it
02:09:07 I I know in general the one you’re
02:09:09 talking about but I’m trying to think of
02:09:10 a keyword to find it because I think I
02:09:11 have it in this page here but now I’m
02:09:14 trying to think of the the right keyword
02:09:16 it’s something that I found it’s
02:09:17 something that I found as I was looking
02:09:19 up the um
02:09:21 as I was looking up Joseph Smith’s quote
02:09:24 on Daniel
02:09:28 and it was is it this one I never
02:09:31 thought it was right to complement and
02:09:33 try him because he aired in Doctrine yes
02:09:35 that is it that’s like uh methodism and
02:09:39 not like Latter Day Latter-Day saintism
02:09:44 methodists have Creeds which a man must
02:09:47 believe or be kicked out of their church
02:09:49 I want the Liberty to believe as I
02:09:52 please it feels so good not to be
02:09:55 trampled
02:09:57 yep that’s the one
02:10:01 uh yeah I and I I would say that applies
02:10:04 to prophecy but he believing and sinning
02:10:08 are two different things right because
02:10:10 right obviously that Yahweh through
02:10:13 Joseph Smith as recorded in the DNC you
02:10:17 can be excommunicated for sins right
02:10:22 right but what he’s talking about is a
02:10:24 belief
02:10:25 and everybody’s got everybody’s got
02:10:27 false beliefs regardless of how much
02:10:30 regardless of how much we want to
02:10:32 that the scriptures be good bereans
02:10:35 every single one of us has a false
02:10:37 belief somewhere yeah in fact John the
02:10:39 Baptist right the greatest Prophet right
02:10:41 he had a false belief
02:10:44 um what if Jesus what if Jesus had
02:10:46 called him up and kicked him out of his
02:10:49 calling just because he had a false
02:10:50 belief no he he didn’t do that
02:10:53 yeah
02:10:54 exactly that that he did take the
02:10:57 opportunity to teach him right but he
02:10:59 didn’t kick him out
02:11:01 that’s right or take away his calling
02:11:05 right
02:11:08 um though I will say on this point
02:11:11 um some beliefs will lead to sins and
02:11:15 that’s where it becomes a problem but as
02:11:18 in and this is a prime example of this a
02:11:22 belief on Prophecy
02:11:25 would not do that because John the
02:11:27 Baptist on this example actually had a
02:11:29 false belief about prophecy it wasn’t
02:11:31 about something that actually led to sin
02:11:33 but false belief can
02:11:37 and often does
02:11:39 lead to sinning
02:11:41 and that’s where it becomes the problem
02:11:43 right is one of the times
02:11:46 yes when it’s on is when a
02:11:49 false belief
02:11:51 is uh is allowed to
02:11:54 um exacerbate
02:11:56 and become uh and metastatized into
02:12:00 actions
02:12:01 correct
02:12:03 um
02:12:04 but like in the example of John the
02:12:05 Baptist when the first and second coming
02:12:08 were and or are
02:12:11 um that that doesn’t lead
02:12:13 didn’t leave the jaw into sinning right
02:12:16 no but I I guess um one thing where it
02:12:18 could lead to sin and actually on this
02:12:21 point I do think there’s a lot of false
02:12:24 prophecy interpretations promoted so
02:12:27 that way people will send in the fact
02:12:29 that they will then reject Yahweh Elohim
02:12:32 because they think prophecy has not been
02:12:35 fulfilled right and the others still
02:12:37 need to even be caught careful with the
02:12:39 prophecy one but this is where you
02:12:42 should
02:12:44 um
02:12:46 prophecy can help with testimony right
02:12:49 but it shouldn’t
02:12:51 stay based on solely on Prophecy right
02:12:55 because if your interpretation of
02:12:57 Prophecy is wrong
02:12:59 it could lead you to be a non-believer
02:13:02 and and uh take the lord’s name in vain
02:13:06 right if you take upon my name and you
02:13:09 reject me to be better if you’re not
02:13:11 born
02:13:12 right
02:13:14 um another one that could lead another
02:13:16 one another false belief that often
02:13:19 leads to sins false beliefs regarding
02:13:20 the law
02:13:22 well that one’s a big one
02:13:24 well Paul for instance Among the
02:13:28 Nephites before Jesus Christ was
02:13:30 crucified there were people who tried to
02:13:32 leave off leaving the Performing the law
02:13:35 of Moses because of a false belief yeah
02:13:37 they were counseled and they repented
02:13:40 they thought it should end at his birth
02:13:42 and not his death in fact that what is
02:13:44 that first Nephi or I mean 13 30 by one
02:13:47 yeah 35 one or two one
02:13:50 I think it’s one
02:13:57 Moses issues so I’m pretty sure that
02:13:59 one’s one
02:14:01 uh
02:14:05 and then there’s go down once they’ve
02:14:08 always saved people
02:14:09 and there were no content so this is
02:14:11 first Nephi I mean sorry 35
02:14:14 chapter 1 verse 24 and there were no
02:14:17 contentions of it were a few that began
02:14:19 to preach endeavoring to prove by the
02:14:22 scriptures that it was no more expedient
02:14:24 to serve the law of Moses now this thing
02:14:26 they did air having not understood the
02:14:29 scriptures which I would agree because
02:14:30 it’s about his death
02:14:33 um in fact Alma 34 is a great one for
02:14:35 that right but it came to pass that they
02:14:37 soon became converted and were convinced
02:14:40 of their error
02:14:41 by preaching right which they were in or
02:14:45 it was made known unto them uh you know
02:14:47 preaching right under them that the law
02:14:50 was not yet fulfilled and that it must
02:14:52 be fulfilled in every wit which Alma 34
02:14:55 even says every witch
02:14:57 the word came unto them that it must be
02:15:01 fulfilled okay that that one jaw or no
02:15:03 title should pass away till they should
02:15:06 all be fulfilled therefore in the same
02:15:08 year B where they brought to a knowledge
02:15:12 of their Heir and did confess their
02:15:15 faults and confessing has to do with sin
02:15:16 so they they
02:15:24 correct
02:15:26 and probably doing a lot of promoting of
02:15:28 it and whatnot but trying to get them to
02:15:31 stop doing something that they were
02:15:33 supposed to be doing
02:15:34 hence is in right
02:15:37 well the thing is is that uh
02:15:41 well you know they get the same thing
02:15:43 with people who don’t seem to who don’t
02:15:45 see there’s a lot of people who don’t
02:15:47 understand the scriptures and move the
02:15:50 law of Moses beyond what it actually was
02:15:54 oh yeah well that’s that’s pretty much
02:15:57 Universal in
02:15:59 Judaism and Christianity they pretty
02:16:03 much everybody in both those camps
02:16:06 Ty Law Moses with Torah but Daniel 9 is
02:16:10 a key one from the Old Testament that
02:16:12 shows that it’s not Book of Mormon has
02:16:14 tons of verses in fact I’ll just show
02:16:16 and yet I’ve met the yet I’ve met more
02:16:18 than one person who recognized
02:16:20 uh the law of Moses is not the entirety
02:16:23 of the science government
02:16:26 correct um I think
02:16:28 there are some out there that recognize
02:16:30 Torah and La Moses are are different but
02:16:32 they’re far and few between
02:16:35 because I even have come across some
02:16:39 non-mainstream juice that recognize that
02:16:41 but I’m stating non-mainstream the
02:16:43 mainstream thinks they’re the same
02:16:46 um but there’s a lot of Book of Mormon
02:16:48 verses that teach that they’re different
02:16:50 right and
02:16:52 recording on most of these so I’ll put
02:16:55 those in the notes if anybody wants to
02:16:57 watch them
02:16:58 um
02:16:59 and Daniel 9’s key which I’m we’ve gone
02:17:03 over a couple times but anyways they’re
02:17:07 they’re different and just
02:17:09 um by Daniel 9 chiasm
02:17:11 UM
02:17:13 it I think is kind of a key and
02:17:16 important thing in that that’s a big one
02:17:18 for prophecy issues right but anyways
02:17:20 well the thing is is that even if you
02:17:22 don’t put it
02:17:24 the
02:17:29 once you realize that the law of Moses
02:17:32 is the offerings for sin
02:17:37 daily weekly daily monthly offers soon
02:17:40 what you have you realize I I know you
02:17:44 know this but I’m just going to State it
02:17:46 it’s the type of the offering of sin
02:17:48 right right yeah of course
02:17:51 um
02:17:52 once you realize that
02:17:54 then you realize that the uh
02:17:58 that this is exactly what Daniel 9 the
02:18:00 Apex Daniel 9 prophecy is talking about
02:18:04 the cessation of the daily offering oh
02:18:06 yeah in fact here
02:18:10 explicitly yeah it states it explicitly
02:18:14 if you know what to look for yes if you
02:18:17 don’t it doesn’t but if you know what to
02:18:18 look for it’s even using the same Hebrew
02:18:20 words that’s associated with the daily
02:18:23 sacrifices right yeah as I make note
02:18:27 right here in my little chiasm and and
02:18:29 my little glyphs right
02:18:32 because I mean I spent time looking into
02:18:34 this right so it’s not something I’ve
02:18:36 just came out of nowhere but I will also
02:18:39 it was the Book of Mormon that initially
02:18:41 brought me to this and the teachings
02:18:43 there but also this understanding makes
02:18:46 Paul a lot easier to understand at times
02:18:49 also right like well that and
02:18:52 understanding the in that and
02:18:54 understanding the Five Pillars Parasect
02:18:56 five
02:18:57 yeah yeah but she was uh he he was a
02:19:03 Pharisee of Pharisees right and before
02:19:05 he became a convert to the Messiah right
02:19:07 yeah he was
02:19:09 he was the reason
02:19:14 he was
02:19:16 dedicated to what he thought was the
02:19:19 right thing correct
02:19:21 correct he was one of those who was
02:19:24 definitely not lukewarm no no matter
02:19:28 which way he was going correct Amen to
02:19:32 that that’s for sure
02:19:35 he was at the extreme ends
02:19:41 um
02:19:42 but I I mean just second Peter admits
02:19:46 that he was hard to understand and
02:19:48 people well who are unlearned and
02:19:52 unstable I like that word but anyways
02:19:55 we’ll rest them or twist them to their
02:19:59 damnation right
02:20:01 under their own as they do also of the
02:20:04 other scriptures under their own
02:20:05 destruction
02:20:06 right neither for beloved scene you know
02:20:09 these things before beware lest ye also
02:20:12 be led away at the error of the wicked
02:20:15 fall from your own steadfastness yeah
02:20:18 and I’ll put this in the notes but this
02:20:21 is a really good series that brings out
02:20:23 some important ones that shows how
02:20:26 Paul’s words are just Twisted right and
02:20:29 um
02:20:30 I can do it there’s a many of them but
02:20:35 this series is like
02:20:39 five or six or maybe seven hours long I
02:20:42 I don’t know it’s been a while since
02:20:44 I’ve watched it but then here’s the
02:20:46 transcripts of it it’s got a lot of good
02:20:48 stuff in it to help people it’s going on
02:20:51 and get a better understanding
02:20:53 um so
02:20:54 Paul gets twisted a lot sadly
02:20:59 he probably is the one that gets twisted
02:21:00 the most in my
02:21:02 interactions with people but anyways oh
02:21:06 it’s because most it’s because most
02:21:07 people are most people uh most people
02:21:11 don’t approach him very studious
02:21:14 yeah they don’t I they just they they do
02:21:18 what he writes with their preconceived
02:21:22 ideas what we’re gonna say Zach they did
02:21:24 the isolated verses a lot
02:21:26 yeah yeah which which when you uh which
02:21:31 one you actually put those isolated
02:21:33 verses back into the chapter it totally
02:21:35 disproves what they’re trying to prove
02:21:36 it yeah and jst helps out also in a lot
02:21:40 of probably not every case but a lot of
02:21:42 cases it shows that a lot of people are
02:21:44 twisting Paul DHT helps make that
02:21:47 obvious in some cases right
02:21:50 right
02:21:51 um some
02:21:53 another win for Joseph Smith
02:21:57 anyways oh boy well I
02:22:04 I am uh I’m feeling I’m feeling kind of
02:22:07 tired okay all right so I’m gonna pause
02:22:11 so here’s another mudding and strong one
02:22:15 thought and since we were just kind of
02:22:17 chatting and it kind of brought it to my
02:22:19 mind so
02:22:21 Elisha in the Old Testament he is the
02:22:25 mighty and strong one and that um
02:22:28 three or I shouldn’t say pair but the
02:22:31 grouping of three servants but there
02:22:34 were
02:22:35 kids that were mocking him for his bald
02:22:39 head okay
02:22:41 and I think that has a lot of thing and
02:22:43 I think that will go to show that he’s
02:22:45 not going to be having Authority in the
02:22:48 church but anyways that’s another
02:22:49 subject but
02:22:52 um
02:22:53 their curse for these children
02:22:56 and I think it’s children on purpose
02:22:59 because that you know uh what is it
02:23:01 first Corinthians 13 we should no longer
02:23:04 be children right but anyways
02:23:07 um
02:23:08 when they mocked him
02:23:10 he cursed them to get mauled by a bear
02:23:13 which is physical death okay Bears
02:23:16 represent physical death and physical
02:23:18 Resurrection now when the mighty and
02:23:21 strong one comes
02:23:23 on the scene and people disregard him
02:23:26 and mock him
02:23:29 scriptures state
02:23:32 they will die
02:23:34 and yeah because then the second coming
02:23:36 happens and they will be stoned
02:23:40 you know and so there’s an example in
02:23:44 Elisha who is a mining strong one in the
02:23:47 Old Testament that shows if you don’t
02:23:49 listen to The Mighty strong one you will
02:23:51 die
02:23:52 that’s an interesting yeah that’s
02:23:54 actually an interesting thing so who is
02:23:56 who’s the Redeemer figure in that Triad
02:24:00 um Malachi I remember correct Isaiah uh
02:24:04 I I
02:24:05 because he likes any live show before I
02:24:08 say are they and this is where I I don’t
02:24:11 have that history too well so I yeah
02:24:14 Elijah and Elijah are both time timeline
02:24:16 wise before is it
02:24:18 so
02:24:20 so I have some of my timing wrong then
02:24:22 because I
02:24:23 I thought Elijah
02:24:28 um uh raised Malachi then he he raised
02:24:33 someone from the from the dead right
02:24:37 yes
02:24:38 uh who who did he raise because I
02:24:41 believe that says it was this it just
02:24:43 says it was the son of a woman that he
02:24:45 was he was living with yeah but anyways
02:24:49 I do believe that represents the Messiah
02:24:52 um because but I maybe I’m getting my
02:24:55 timing wrong then so I’m not sure I’d
02:24:57 have to go and double check then because
02:24:59 for it’s from what you’re saying it
02:25:02 sounds like my history has been shifted
02:25:05 around a little bit in my head well yeah
02:25:08 well the whole thing the whole thing is
02:25:10 is all you have to do is go through is
02:25:12 go through Kings uh Isaiah Isaiah is
02:25:16 after
02:25:18 um
02:25:19 July generation
02:25:24 well there’s Ezra anyway yeah that could
02:25:26 be and so I I need to go
02:25:29 and by the way do you know what I say
02:25:31 you know what I said
02:25:33 no
02:25:37 yes she was saves
02:25:39 so that is a definite um possibility
02:25:43 making him the Redeemer one
02:25:45 um but I I don’t know off top my head
02:25:48 who that one is and because the one that
02:25:50 I thought it was you just showed me I
02:25:52 was I was
02:25:53 uh got my history a little mixed up
02:25:55 there so I have to go rethink about that
02:25:57 one
02:25:58 yeah well I mean the thing is is these
02:26:02 are the three the thing is is Elijah
02:26:04 Elisha and Isaiah or ishaya has the uh
02:26:09 in the Hebrew
02:26:12 is
02:26:13 um those are the three greatest Prophets
02:26:16 so all of you in all the Hebrew and all
02:26:18 the time of the Kings
02:26:19 Isaiah could be the the mighty one then
02:26:22 because one thing just along those lines
02:26:25 he does a lot of prophecy about the
02:26:28 millennial rain right
02:26:31 yes he does
02:26:33 um in fact I I don’t just off of vague
02:26:37 memory now it could be wrong just like I
02:26:40 had the wrong one for the Redeemer in
02:26:42 that three I vague mingri I think he has
02:26:45 the most dealing with that just fake
02:26:48 memory he’s also he’s also the prophet
02:26:51 and place when Jude when Judah is
02:26:54 delivered from the Assyrians uh and that
02:26:57 would make sense for the Redeemer all
02:26:59 right yep yep um
02:27:02 so he could be and it’s by him and it’s
02:27:05 by a miracle from the Lord they are
02:27:07 delivered
02:27:08 so that would make sense it would be
02:27:10 Isaiah then but some of these points
02:27:13 bringing out but I think that’s
02:27:14 something we need to probably maybe do a
02:27:16 little more research on them
02:27:18 um
02:27:19 that’ll be fun yeah
02:27:21 [Laughter]
02:27:24 it’s it’s good to try to kind of work
02:27:27 out these patterns so that when they
02:27:28 actually happen in real life we’ll
02:27:30 recognize them right but right
02:27:34 definitely Zach
02:27:37 I once heard that the
02:27:39 the kids and Elijah’s story
02:27:42 like they weren’t kids
02:27:45 children is the word translated to
02:27:48 Children is also
02:27:50 um
02:27:52 can also be translated as followers
02:27:56 yeah obviously
02:27:58 yeah well they would have been followers
02:28:00 of Satan in that case right well
02:28:03 followers I think yeah followers of
02:28:07 Belial
02:28:08 uh which is the longest one yeah the
02:28:13 Lawless one
02:28:14 um
02:28:15 so that could be the case
02:28:17 um but I I would find it interesting
02:28:19 that they’re using children because they
02:28:21 have not matured in Galway right and so
02:28:25 that would just be why they’re using
02:28:26 that word or it could be because their
02:28:29 followers are saying or or actually both
02:28:31 right
02:28:32 yeah
02:28:34 um do you know does anybody know where
02:28:36 that is off top of their head and we can
02:28:38 go look at that in Bible Hub just out of
02:28:40 curiosity since you brought that up
02:28:42 it’s not it’s not too hard to find it
02:28:45 uh you said the story of um
02:28:49 the Elisha yeah being the children being
02:28:54 mauled by bears
02:28:57 give me a sec
02:29:02 let me pull up my
02:29:09 I’m gonna do a quick Gospel Library
02:29:12 search uh yeah I I’m doing a quick being
02:29:16 search uh Second Kings 2 23-24 yeah
02:29:21 let’s see oh you’re napping Matt
02:29:24 yeah I’m I’m not
02:29:27 feeling the best
02:29:29 oh yeah I’m glad it’s not because I’m
02:29:31 boring you no no no no no no no no no no
02:29:35 I was just doing a joke I I know we hope
02:29:38 we feel better soon yeah we appreciate
02:29:41 it
02:29:42 I really do appreciate that
02:29:45 problem
02:29:46 okay so and he went up
02:29:49 from hence unto Beth L and he was going
02:29:53 up by the way and there came little
02:29:55 children
02:29:56 out of the city and marked him and he
02:29:59 said unto him go up and down
02:30:02 so uh Elisha real life no yeah go up and
02:30:09 down bald head and he turned back and
02:30:11 looked under them and cursed them in the
02:30:13 name of Yahweh and there came forth
02:30:15 two she owns two she Bears I thought it
02:30:18 was just one okay but two sea Bears out
02:30:20 of the woods and
02:30:21 poor 40 and two children of them so the
02:30:28 42 is interesting
02:30:29 42 has to do with oppression
02:30:33 yes
02:30:34 and that’s why the the occult says the
02:30:37 secret to everything is 42 because yes
02:30:40 everything is oppression
02:30:43 but anyways
02:30:45 um I I used to be I was just barely 42
02:30:48 so I used to make a lot of jokes about
02:30:49 that
02:30:50 isn’t there here’s a book called
02:30:53 42 isn’t it 42 laws about Laws of Power
02:30:56 or something like that
02:30:58 there’s also life the universe and
02:31:01 everything or The Hitchhiker’s Guide to
02:31:03 the Galaxy which the answer life the
02:31:05 universe and everything is indeed 42.
02:31:08 yeah
02:31:09 um they’re uh I think it was
02:31:14 the office or or some other it show that
02:31:19 brings out how 42 is the answer to
02:31:21 everything also because for the cultures
02:31:24 you press them and you’ll get what you
02:31:26 want let’s answer to everything
02:31:29 um anyways so enough with that little
02:31:32 like side track of what 42 means let’s
02:31:36 go
02:31:37 I just I just wanted to bring that up I
02:31:41 never sidetracked do I yeah so let’s go
02:31:45 to Bible Hub
02:31:48 um yes Second Kings
02:32:00 23 through 22 I think well 23 is the one
02:32:04 we want right because that’s the one
02:32:06 that has the little children 22 I think
02:32:09 is where it starts
02:32:11 uh yeah that is where uh no I think it
02:32:15 actually starts at 23 because what I see
02:32:17 22 so the waters were held onto this day
02:32:21 according to this okay it looks like
02:32:23 something that looks like a different
02:32:25 history right but anyway yeah
02:32:28 uh
02:32:29 uh alive 23 years old
02:32:32 we’re a group of boys this is how these
02:32:35 guys but those are so
02:32:39 um
02:32:40 well the Hebrews boy lad Young
02:32:44 retainer container that’s okay that
02:32:49 makes me think of braces sorry
02:32:52 no retainer is uh a retainer is somebody
02:32:56 who is kept around the king
02:32:59 to serve him
02:33:01 oh okay all right he’s basically a
02:33:05 servant a servant that makes sense uh so
02:33:09 a servant of the wrong
02:33:13 um leader in this case right
02:33:15 they may have been they may have been
02:33:18 Servants of um Ahab or the or a later or
02:33:23 a later Israelite King yeah so here’s
02:33:28 multiple translations this gets into
02:33:31 attendance boy boys boys
02:33:35 child children
02:33:37 lad
02:33:39 servant looks like it has the highest
02:33:41 occurrence
02:33:43 young man young man
02:33:46 which is definitely not children yeah
02:33:50 young men is higher so that could go
02:33:52 with the idea that it was actual adults
02:33:54 right that Zach was
02:33:59 so I I don’t know I guess with the
02:34:04 retainer being a servant the servants
02:34:06 are more likely to be adults right
02:34:08 mm-hmm more likely more likely I mean it
02:34:13 could be a kid one
02:34:15 um it could be a kid but the fact is
02:34:17 that you know a lot of times
02:34:20 when people hear a story like this in
02:34:22 the Old Testament and they don’t they
02:34:25 don’t like it because it’s not pleasant
02:34:30 um
02:34:31 and they um
02:34:35 and so what they do
02:34:38 is so what is so what they do is they
02:34:40 just what they do is they chalk it up to
02:34:43 well this was just this was changed
02:34:46 yeah but I I think I I think it’s
02:34:49 actually accurate looking at the
02:34:51 symbolism behind it and actually as I
02:34:55 brought out I think it ties to the
02:34:57 mining and strong one in multiple ways
02:35:01 which Elijah is the type of the mighty
02:35:04 and strong one right or like or I’m
02:35:07 saying it wrong again I’m not even gonna
02:35:09 try it but anyways this shows multiple
02:35:12 things and types for the mining strong
02:35:14 one in my honest opinion as I brought
02:35:16 out right
02:35:17 you’re right
02:35:19 yeah and so yeah but I I I yeah I think
02:35:22 that this is yeah this is this is fun
02:35:25 stuff right here
02:35:26 yeah anyways that was just another
02:35:28 thought I had about the mighty and
02:35:29 strong one I hadn’t shared on a
02:35:31 recording yet so as we’re chatting it
02:35:33 kind of came out so I thought I’d share
02:35:34 it so I’m gonna pause again
