00:13:02 your heart I know no one who has ripped
00:13:05 up in their chest and literally tattooed
00:13:08 the law on their heart in fact tattoos

00:22:52 they have the truth and nobody else does
00:22:55 yes in a certain way and how they’re
00:22:58 keeping people out of their chapels
00:23:00 because of their clothing
00:23:03 um where these other people are wearing
00:23:06 business clothes
00:23:08 um right which is money closed right and
00:23:10 but
00:23:12 um
00:23:13 but the situation Alma brings out that
00:23:16 how it caused them to be humble right
00:23:20 right which is
00:23:23 and we’ll and we’ll read about this here
00:23:24 in a minute uh which is a key component
00:23:28 of
00:23:29 faith
00:23:31 humility right so we’re going to start
00:23:34 in verse one
00:23:35 um Zach you you want to start reading
00:23:37 for us
00:23:41 that big enough or do you want me to

00:23:44 actually
00:23:46 I’m here oh okay yeah okay
00:23:53 in the past that it did go forth and
00:23:55 began to preach the word of God unto the
00:23:57 people
00:23:58 entering into their synagogues into
00:24:00 their houses
00:24:01 even they did preach the word in the
00:24:04 streets
00:24:06 so I I you know this could back from my
00:24:10 missionary years this could be like
00:24:11 tracking right
00:24:14 but I think the main thing is
00:24:17 um even when
00:24:19 people weren’t listening the True
00:24:22 Believers don’t give up right correct
00:24:25 correct and I think it’s interesting to
00:24:27 note that they went in and preached in
00:24:29 the synagogues
00:24:30 so they were teaching the truth in their
00:24:33 supposed places of worship well here’s
00:24:35 the other interesting thing is well this
00:24:38 actually correlates to a pattern
00:24:41 that is that you see play out
00:24:44 and Jesus’s in the ministry of Yeshua as
00:24:48 well wherein he and his disciples
00:24:51 preached in the synagogues
00:24:54 of the of the Jews yeah and he went to
00:24:57 people’s houses too right and and it’s a
00:25:00 good point they were and they were by
00:25:02 and large rejected
00:25:05 there were a few people there were there
00:25:07 were some well there there were a fair
00:25:11 there were a fair number of people who
00:25:14 there were a fair number of seeds
00:25:16 planted otherwise Christianity could not
00:25:18 have grown nearly as fast as it did in
00:25:21 the early stages so here’s just a
00:25:24 thought that I’ve I’ve had that goes
00:25:26 along with this idea you’re putting out
00:25:28 there
00:25:30 um
00:25:30 I do believe that the majority of the
00:25:34 converts came
00:25:36 after yeshua’s biggest Miracle right his
00:25:40 death Resurrection okay
00:25:43 I do think the same thing will be coming
00:25:45 with the mining and strong one that most
00:25:47 of the people who will start believing
00:25:49 will be after that great miracle right
00:25:52 yes yes but anyway that makes sense all
00:25:55 right so um moving on to verse two Zach
00:26:01 and if I have too much labor among them
00:26:04 they began to have success among the
00:26:06 poorer class of the people
00:26:08 but behold they were cast out of the
00:26:10 synagogues because of the coarseness of
00:26:12 their apparel any other money glows no
00:26:15 money closed no church yeah I I but I I
00:26:18 think it’s interesting that they that
00:26:21 they specified among the poorer class of
00:26:22 the people
00:26:23 and not just because the coarseness of
00:26:26 their apparel
00:26:29 rightness and the coarseness of the
00:26:31 clothes go together right yeah right
00:26:33 exactly so that’s what I was trying to
00:26:36 bring out is that but they were having
00:26:38 success among the poorer people not
00:26:40 because of the clothes but because of
00:26:41 the poor people were cast out of their
00:26:43 own place of worship correct
00:26:46 as it says in uh as it says in verse
00:26:48 three right right I I do Wonder though
00:26:51 if the poor
00:26:53 here on on the surface it is physically
00:26:56 poor okay I I do wonder if underlining
00:27:00 the way that they say though could point
00:27:02 to poor and part thank you because it
00:27:05 says that in verse three which is what I
00:27:07 was trying to draw out which is what I
00:27:09 was trying to draw out is that the
00:27:13 poorer class of people poor in heart
00:27:16 right humble open
00:27:19 ready to receive
00:27:22 these people were ready for something
00:27:24 that was better than what they were
00:27:28 seeing at that time and some of them may
00:27:31 not have known exactly what it was that
00:27:33 they were looking for but they were
00:27:36 searching and they were open and they
00:27:38 were ready sure
00:27:42 it was a blessing in disguise that they
00:27:45 were getting kicked out right right yeah
00:27:48 exactly it’s called it’s called those
00:27:50 experiences in our life which prepare us
00:27:53 mm-hmm
00:27:54 okay so now we’re gonna
00:27:57 skip down just a little bit because
00:28:00 verse 4 Moves more along those lines
00:28:03 they’re poor as to the things of the
00:28:05 world
00:28:06 right so
00:28:09 moving on the next page two verse
00:28:13 uh um
00:28:17 actually I think no no verse five verse
00:28:21 five and six are pretty yes they’re
00:28:23 pretty key they’re pretty key here uh
00:28:26 Ben you wanna you wanna read those yeah
00:28:28 I got it all right and they of course I
00:28:31 don’t have it and
00:28:33 the uh with their main script but I do
00:28:36 have it in our night it’s pretty much
00:28:38 the same text
00:28:41 we’ll be all right we’ll be all right
00:28:43 and they came on to Alma and the one who
00:28:46 was foremost among them said unto them
00:28:48 behold what shall these my brethren do
00:28:50 for they are despised of all men because
00:28:53 of their poverty yeah and more
00:28:55 especially by our priests for they have
00:28:57 cast us out of their sin out of our
00:28:59 synagogues which we have labored
00:29:01 abundantly to build with our own hands
00:29:06 huh
00:29:07 and they have cast us out because of our
00:29:09 exceeding poverty
00:29:11 and we have no place to worship Our God
00:29:13 and behold what shall we do you know
00:29:16 what this reminds me of
00:29:18 the church with the Philadelphia award
00:29:22 when Dad was Bishop
00:29:24 they shut it down because there were too
00:29:26 many poor people and they couldn’t pay
00:29:28 enough tithing yeah well I was going to
00:29:31 say something related to that temples
00:29:33 right yeah
00:29:35 uh people pay their tithing which goes
00:29:37 build temples instead of taking care of
00:29:39 the poor and and then they don’t let
00:29:41 them to go because they can’t keep
00:29:43 paying it right well then well then on
00:29:45 top of that I was going to say on top of
00:29:47 that
00:29:48 right
00:29:49 they encourage them to keep paying their
00:29:52 tithing so they can build these things
00:29:54 and that is a condition of being able to
00:29:57 go inside well right right you’re so if
00:30:00 you don’t bring your salvation you don’t
00:30:01 go which I’m cool with anyways it’s
00:30:05 called pay to play yeah right
00:30:08 they say you have to pay to get this
00:30:10 saving ordinances which is
00:30:13 I anyways
00:30:17 idolatry 101 but anyway well I I will
00:30:20 say this in Mosaic 18 another baptism
00:30:23 scriptures in the Book of Mormon it
00:30:25 states that baptism is a witness of a
00:30:27 covenant to keep all his commandments so
00:30:30 if you’ve already Covenant to keep all
00:30:33 his Commandments why do you need to make
00:30:37 to keep all his Commandments but anyways
00:30:39 we’ll leave it at that right and he’s
00:30:42 even said this in the New Testament
00:30:44 where he said that the most important
00:30:46 Commandments were to love the Lord thy
00:30:48 God with all thy heart mind and strength
00:30:50 and the second commandment is like unto
00:30:52 it love thy neighbor as thyself two
00:30:54 great Commandments
00:30:56 there’s nothing
00:30:59 but it’s just that we’re stupid need it
00:31:01 spelled out farther right right I mean
00:31:04 right well and that’s why we have the
00:31:05 Ten Commandments and we have other
00:31:08 principles that help build on on that
00:31:11 groundwork but yes I I mean we could go
00:31:14 or we could by the end of 135 11 it says
00:31:17 don’t add to these things and they’ll
00:31:19 right we’ll leave it at that because
00:31:21 we’re sidetracking from the main yes yes
00:31:22 now we are all right uh verse six Ben
00:31:25 all right now when Alma heard this he
00:31:28 turned him about his face immediately
00:31:30 towards him and he beheld with great joy
00:31:33 for he beheld their afflictions had
00:31:35 truly humbled them and they were in a
00:31:37 preparation to hear the word
00:31:40 um
00:31:42 right you know the thing that I think is
00:31:44 important here it doesn’t matter how you
00:31:47 start
00:31:47 and I think he’ll even get into a little
00:31:50 bit more later on but and
00:31:52 it doesn’t matter how you start it
00:31:55 matters how you end
00:31:57 correct okay and I think he even gets
00:31:59 that into this lecture later on too it
00:32:02 matters how you end well Paul is Saul
00:32:05 Paul is a perfect example of this oh
00:32:09 yeah it doesn’t matter how you start
00:32:12 it matters how you end
00:32:15 yeah
00:32:16 um
00:32:17 was barely diligent in what he believed
00:32:20 and he realized that he was wrong he did
00:32:24 a full 180. like he did that like that
00:32:27 same diligence that he applied to
00:32:29 phariseeism he applied to yeah
00:32:36 it doesn’t matter how you start but the
00:32:38 prideful those who have pride in their
00:32:41 heart aren’t gonna start they’re not
00:32:42 gonna listen at all exactly right and I
00:32:45 think God used
00:32:47 this situation to help some of these
00:32:49 people he Alma does later mention that
00:32:51 not all of you needed this but that’s
00:32:54 okay some of you did some of you I think
00:32:57 you said the majority did need this to
00:32:59 Humble them but some did not I don’t
00:33:01 remember the exact words but oh it’s
00:33:03 it’s coming it’s coming we’re going to
00:33:04 get there well I mean this year this
00:33:07 year actually reminds me of my journey
00:33:10 this here reminds me a little bit of my
00:33:12 own Journey
00:33:13 um
00:33:14 my experiences with uh Phil Davis
00:33:18 uh that caused me to be in a state of
00:33:20 preparation that when I after I Le after
00:33:25 all that broke up and I started talking
00:33:27 to Stephen I was able to receive
00:33:30 um I was willing I was in a place where
00:33:32 I was willing to receive
00:33:34 well you were already somewhat getting
00:33:37 there anyways I just kind of helped
00:33:39 cement what yeah but I was in a place
00:33:41 but before I remember having had
00:33:44 battles with you
00:33:46 on some things yes but eventually you
00:33:49 did listen but that’s fine yeah
00:33:54 with me that you really embraced after
00:33:57 and so that that’s the important thing
00:33:59 yeah for me but that’s what I’m saying
00:34:02 this verse reminds me of my own that I
00:34:06 kind of had to have experiences to
00:34:07 Humble me to actually be able to fully
00:34:10 Embrace Torah
00:34:11 um
00:34:12 well you were getting there I just made
00:34:15 it faster yeah there you go
00:34:17 it’s a beautiful thing
00:34:20 um
00:34:20 I think verse seven is interesting I’m
00:34:23 just gonna read verse seven real quick
00:34:25 uh therefore he did say no more to the
00:34:27 other multitude but he stretched forth
00:34:30 his hand
00:34:31 um and cried under those which he beheld
00:34:33 which were truly penitent
00:34:36 right so so I think this is this is Alma
00:34:41 being humble enough
00:34:44 to receive the promptings
00:34:48 that hey the people you were talking to
00:34:52 aren’t the ones you need to be talking
00:34:53 to it’s these people over here sure well
00:34:57 and then also
00:34:59 yeshua’s arm is still stretched out
00:35:01 right so just going back to verse seven
00:35:04 here he stretched forth his hand that
00:35:07 goes along that imagery right there
00:35:11 which which is amazing a lot of this
00:35:15 does point back to the Messiah if you
00:35:17 know what to look for it I and I just
00:35:19 want to bring that one out but I also I
00:35:22 also think it’s I also think it’s really
00:35:24 cool that he realized when he was done
00:35:28 with a certain set of people
00:35:31 the Lord and the Lord is able to move
00:35:33 him on to and the Lord and he moved it
00:35:36 and he moved on to people who were ready
00:35:37 to listen well so I I
00:35:42 by the little different perspective okay
00:35:45 um and
00:35:47 I’ve been at this for a while okay
00:35:52 um I’ve heard a lot of people I I mean
00:35:56 people make fun of me
00:35:58 people give me funny names
00:36:01 people mock me instead of
00:36:03 engaging the scriptures I share
00:36:06 I’ll tell you when when I see someone
00:36:09 listening to me guess what I focus on
00:36:12 them
00:36:14 instead of the others and to be honest
00:36:18 that’s what I see here is he just sees
00:36:22 that someone’s listening
00:36:25 so that’s who he’s focusing on because
00:36:28 when you go out to preach
00:36:30 you don’t go out to preach to get made
00:36:32 fun of and mocked no no that’s not what
00:36:36 anybody wants I don’t you understand
00:36:37 that I don’t think part of the program I
00:36:40 also don’t think that people I don’t
00:36:42 think we go out to preach just to
00:36:43 satisfy Idol curiosity either no yeah
00:36:47 and we could go look at what
00:36:50 um
00:36:50 the alma
00:36:52 29 just before he searched his missions
00:36:55 but anyways he says it’s a goal because
00:36:57 he knows the word of God is more
00:36:59 powerful than the sword right that’s why
00:37:02 he went out that was that was a thing
00:37:04 that had more powerful effect on the
00:37:06 hearts of the children of uh the
00:37:09 Nephites and anything else right uh and
00:37:12 so he knows the power of the word and
00:37:16 that’s not an idle statement there I’ll
00:37:18 just power in the worry okay there’s no
00:37:21 place he knows the power of the word
00:37:25 Alma’s Alma had knowledge of that oh
00:37:29 yeah so when you have knowledge of
00:37:31 something you go out and boldly do
00:37:34 because you know and this is Elma the
00:37:37 younger yes he has intimate knowledge
00:37:41 of the words and he’s about to share
00:37:44 with us
00:37:46 how to get that intimate knowledge right
00:37:49 just the more thing I think I’m I’m
00:37:51 trying to bring out here I I don’t think
00:37:53 he had to be inspired okay he might have
00:37:56 been but I’ll be honest I don’t think he
00:37:58 was I just yeah he saw the group that
00:38:03 would listen to the peacemaking he was
00:38:06 doing and he went with it
00:38:08 yeah I mean I yeah I was just trying to
00:38:12 I was just trying to bring that out and
00:38:13 I think I was clumsy but yeah that’s
00:38:16 fine okay
00:38:17 um I I don’t think there’s any
00:38:19 inspiration that needed in that that’s
00:38:21 just I I mean even when you’re teaching
00:38:23 lies and false Traditions everybody
00:38:26 exactly the Pharisees
00:38:29 do this I mean they congregate with
00:38:31 those who like what you’re saying right
00:38:34 well and here’s the thing right when I
00:38:37 was serving my mission now granted I was
00:38:39 teaching a lot of
00:38:41 stuff anyways we’ll just call it stuff I
00:38:45 was teaching a lot of stuff right
00:38:48 um and we would we would now I went to
00:38:51 Russia on my mission
00:38:53 and we would hold
00:38:55 we would go into like
00:38:58 various and Sundry assembly halls and we
00:39:00 would hold meetings there where we would
00:39:02 just preach from The Book of Mormon
00:39:04 right just like just like the um uh the
00:39:08 missionaries did in the beginning days
00:39:10 of the church they would go around the
00:39:12 Book of Mormon or they would even just
00:39:15 go on in the park and get on a little
00:39:17 bench and start yeah and start preaching
00:39:20 right yeah so we would we would do a lot
00:39:22 of this right and I can guarantee you
00:39:24 that
00:39:25 if there was a portion of that venue
00:39:29 that just wasn’t interested but there
00:39:31 was another portion that was
00:39:33 we would automatically shift our
00:39:35 attention to the people who were
00:39:36 actually listening yeah so I agree I
00:39:39 agree with you Stephen that it was more
00:39:41 like okay these people are ready these
00:39:43 people are are listening let’s go
00:39:46 right yeah you’re out there looking for
00:39:48 people or listen you find someone’s
00:39:50 going to listen you you focus on them
00:39:52 yeah that’s all I see here personally
00:39:54 yeah that’s fine
00:39:57 that’s it yeah I see I see the same

00:40:18 to me it looks like you got Pure in
00:40:20 heart right and if you really are

00:40:27 he’s not sure but he’s seeing things
00:40:29 that makes him believe that right
00:40:32 Behold thy brother hath said what shall
00:40:36 we do
00:40:37 for we are cast out of our synagogues
00:40:40 that we cannot worship Elohim behold I
00:40:44 say unto you well I wanna I Wanna Stop
00:40:47 you there real quick okay I want to stop
00:40:48 you there real quick because
00:40:51 I think it’s interesting the way he
00:40:53 worded this
00:40:55 he says before we are cast out of our
00:40:57 synagogues that we cannot worship our
00:41:00 God
00:41:03 for sure which to me suggests that it
00:41:07 might be something other than the term
00:41:10 what they thought it was yeah yeah I I
00:41:12 can see that the hour is a key word that
00:41:15 it could bring out how you know false
00:41:17 gods versus the true God because I I can
00:41:20 see a good argument being made this was
00:41:23 regarding the true Elohim it wouldn’t
00:41:26 say R right right that’s right that’s
00:41:28 right right so and he actually goes
00:41:31 further into that in the next couple of
00:41:33 verses so uh please continue okay behold
00:41:37 I say unto you do you suppose that you
00:41:40 cannot worship Elohim save it be in your
00:41:42 synagogues only
00:41:44 see now we’ve changed now we’ve changed
00:41:47 the narrative there is no more Our God
00:41:50 there’s no more R that’s going right the
00:41:53 one right right
00:41:55 but that one sentence was from those who
00:42:00 are unsure what’s correct correct the
00:42:03 ones that got cast out and then the next
00:42:05 one’s from Alma who knows what’s really
00:42:07 going on right correct thank you for the
00:42:10 time of day
00:42:13 all right um and then they notice the
00:42:16 time of day
00:42:18 what’s that did you say something notice
00:42:21 the time he knows the time of day oh he
00:42:24 knows what time it is yes okay I got you
00:42:26 yeah yeah okay I got you now I see what
00:42:29 you’re saying all right verse 11. okay
00:42:31 how are you alone and moreover I would
00:42:33 ask do you suppose that you must not
00:42:37 worship Elohim save it once in a week
00:42:40 see

00:42:43 he’s like hey I’m about to let you know
00:42:48 what time it is
00:42:51 he’s reaching out he’s saying hey guys
00:42:53 you want to worship God
00:42:57 I’m about to tell you
00:42:59 this is what you need to do
00:43:01 all right
00:43:02 um
00:43:03 this goes back to Yeshua in the New
00:43:05 Testament worship
00:43:08 um Spirit which is
00:43:15 um so
00:43:17 right it’s
00:43:20 um
00:43:21 this is where it’s getting in showing
00:43:23 them how to do it correctly
00:43:25 yep so this is his call to them is
00:43:28 saying hey guys pay attention
00:43:31 right yeah oh exactly all right well you
00:43:34 get someone else to read for just a
00:43:36 minute yeah he’s actually he’s actually
00:43:38 what he’s doing is he’s challenging them
00:43:41 yeah
00:43:44 he is challenging them
00:43:46 yep and the challenging a corbally
00:43:49 challenging a belief that they have
00:43:51 accepted that is not true
00:43:54 yes okay so
00:43:58 verse 12.
00:44:03 I can read okay go ahead awesome
00:44:06 I said to you is well that ye are cast
00:44:10 out of your synagogues that ye may be
00:44:12 humble and that ye may learn wisdom for
00:44:15 it is necessary learn wisdom for it is
00:44:18 because that year cast out that ye are
00:44:21 despised of your brethren because of
00:44:22 your exceeding poverty that ye are
00:44:24 brought to a lowliness of heart for ye
00:44:27 are necessarily brought to be humble
00:44:31 okay and then verse 13 too it’s
00:44:34 interesting is it I I just want to he
00:44:37 brings he brings a connection here
00:44:39 between wisdom humility
00:44:44 yes
00:44:46 they go back in between wisdom and
00:44:48 humility moving on
00:44:50 yeah that’s good
00:44:52 and now because
00:44:54 humble blessed are ye for a man
00:44:56 sometimes if he is compelled to be
00:44:58 humble seeketh repentance and now surely
00:45:01 whosoever repenteth shall find Mercy and
00:45:04 he that findeth mercy and endureth to
00:45:06 the end the same shall be saved
00:45:08 um
00:45:09 this is a meaty meaty verse there’s so
00:45:14 much in this verse
00:45:16 right I mean it it wraps everything up
00:45:19 and it’s just beautiful oh
00:45:23 The Humble person seeks repentance
00:45:26 yes the humble person seeks repentance
00:45:28 this is what happens this is why
00:45:31 humility is wisdom yes and Alma adds to
00:45:36 that
00:45:37 if you seek repentance
00:45:40 you will find Mercy which he actually
00:45:44 which insert which in further which in
00:45:47 later instances
00:45:49 in speaking to his son Helaman I believe
00:45:53 he actually
00:45:55 mercy and the baptism of fire in the
00:45:57 Holy Ghost are
00:45:59 there’s a connection a word connection
00:46:01 between the two yes however
00:46:06 just because you found Mercy
00:46:09 doesn’t mean you’re done I’m not saying
00:46:12 that it that’s not what I’m saying at
00:46:14 all no no I I don’t think
00:46:17 anything
00:46:21 I was just saying just because you found
00:46:23 Mercy doesn’t mean that it’s done you
00:46:25 have to endure to the end ah yes and he
00:46:27 that findeth mercy and endureth to the
00:46:29 end the same shall be saved yes right
00:46:31 and and one thing I I do want to bring
00:46:34 out this is some along with a statement
00:46:36 that I say occasionally right it doesn’t
00:46:39 matter how you start it matters how you
00:46:41 end and also uh it also comes along with
00:46:45 the uh it also comes along with a comes
00:46:48 in line with a statement that I often
00:46:49 make
00:46:50 where there’s life There’s Hope
00:46:53 yes versus life there is hope
00:46:57 um however however comma that that hope
00:47:01 is in humility and seeking repentance
00:47:03 yeah it’s it’s
00:47:06 hoping that some people will turn on to
00:47:09 this right that they’ll get compelled
00:47:10 for some reason right right so Mormon is
00:47:14 a good example of this he he was he was
00:47:17 he said he was praying for his people
00:47:19 right and towards the end but he was
00:47:21 praying without faith because he knew
00:47:24 they would not humble themselves and
00:47:26 seek repentance
00:47:29 well you know and and this goes in part
00:47:31 of faith that I It Gets In I don’t
00:47:34 forget what I forget which verse but
00:47:35 later on it does say part of faith is it
00:47:38 being true and accurate right and when
00:47:42 he was praying for it wasn’t true and
00:47:44 accurate then right right which is why
00:47:48 he said I was praying without faith
00:47:49 right
00:47:51 right he was just
00:47:53 saying it because
00:47:55 well it was felt like he had to say it
00:47:58 he felt like he had he had a normal hope
00:48:01 right right he had this faith hope but
00:48:04 just a normal hope it was the desirable
00:48:06 he was praised he was praying for it
00:48:09 because it was the desire of his art
00:48:12 right sure right right he had a whisper
00:48:15 of Hope
00:48:16 sure that makes sense okay
00:48:20 um and oftentimes we pray for the things
00:48:22 that are the desire of our hearts but we
00:48:24 pray without faith because there is no
00:48:26 foundation in it right so now it almost
00:48:29 starts going into
00:48:31 um blessed are you if you’re compelled
00:48:34 to be humble but more blessed is the
00:48:36 person who’s not compelled to be humble
00:48:38 that would turn
00:48:41 to repentance
00:48:43 right to Mercy
00:48:46 regardless of what situation that
00:48:48 they’re in well
00:48:50 for me what that what that is meaning is
00:48:55 that those
00:48:57 the reason somebody’s more blessed if
00:49:00 they humble themselves as opposed to
00:49:02 being compelled to be humble
00:49:06 is because of the is because
00:49:11 you’re on the the moment you humble
00:49:14 yourself the moment you become humble
00:49:17 you get on the path you start repenting
00:49:21 and
00:49:23 you can repent
00:49:25 and when you’re on the path and you’re
00:49:28 repenting

00:52:58 say that you don’t see until you believe

00:53:17 this is a a key one right now how much
00:53:21 more cursed is he that knoweth the will

01:16:21 you’re supposed to have the word do to
01:16:23 you correct changes you and when you
01:16:26 look at this Welling that happens from
01:16:28 the fermentation you’re becoming a new
01:16:30 creature yes something completely if
01:16:33 you’re something that’s real and this
01:16:35 really reminds me of my own Journey uh
01:16:38 to the Messiah

01:16:43 because when I first began
01:16:47 when I first began to wake up to a week
01:16:50 I couldn’t stand the scriptures they
01:16:53 bored me
01:16:56 I I was a uh
01:17:00 you know I was that guy who was if I was
01:17:03 getting stuff from the Scriptures it was
01:17:05 from a YouTube podcast that was slick
01:17:07 and smart and
01:17:09 and clever right clever yes and
01:17:13 um and and and it engaged my and it
01:17:17 engaged my uh
01:17:18 and and engage your carnal nature engage
01:17:23 my carnal nature yes and so but
01:17:28 as I continue to awake and then began to
01:17:31 arise
01:17:33 as I began to experiment upon the word
01:17:36 as I actually began to make place for
01:17:39 the scriptures in my heart for the word
01:17:41 to take to take root in my heart
01:17:47 my mind expanded
01:17:49 I’m happy to say that I am no longer
01:17:52 bored when I read the scriptures

01:52:25 they like literally after the meeting
01:52:27 they looked me up in the church registry
01:52:30 got my number and called me to tell me
01:52:33 how great my talk was and I was like

01:53:30 and it was an amazing experience and um

01:53:38 had that experience it really is an
01:53:40 amazing experience when the word just
01:53:42 flows through you

01:59:37 didn’t really understand why God started
01:59:40 the mountain the garden
01:59:41 so it was really helpful to read and
01:59:43 understand that they started out in
01:59:46 God’s presence so that
01:59:48 after they because it was obvious to me
01:59:51 that Elohim knew that they would sin and
01:59:55 they would be kicked out of the garden
01:59:57 but after they were kicked out they
02:00:00 still had that remembrance of being with
02:00:02 him
02:00:03 so at that point Adam had a test was
02:00:06 able to testify of Elohim to his
02:00:09 Prosperity well then here’s just another
02:00:11 little couple little insights for you
02:00:13 what Yahweh made was perfect
02:00:17 it was uh because of them eating the
02:00:20 forbidden fruit that made the fall and
02:00:24 so definitely Yahweh can go where it’s
02:00:26 perfect and that’s meaning keeping the
02:00:28 law right in fact what got him kicked
02:00:31 out was breaking the law but anyway
02:00:33 another little tidbit is when he came
02:00:36 and started questioning him what
02:00:37 happened on was at an appointed time
02:00:41 okay it wasn’t a point of time when you
02:00:43 read the text she’ll now you’re going to
02:00:46 go back and read it but I don’t remember
02:00:48 exactly how I was worded but if now that
02:00:51 you know it Yahweh does things at his
02:00:53 appointed times
02:00:54 and he came back at an appointed time
02:00:57 and that’s when he started questioning
02:01:00 him in fact he knew what happened right
02:01:03 giving them a chance to
02:01:06 repent that’s why he was but anyways

02:01:16 had sinned he still

02:03:41 and he was able to have that testimony
02:03:43 and teach his sons and then so Joseph
02:03:46 Smith goes on to teach
02:03:49 how long all these people live together

02:03:53 Adam beget yeah I think this is the
02:03:57 longest lecture because of all the the
02:03:59 begets and the yeah yeah I
02:04:04 I think the purpose is just and he
02:04:06 actually States it somewhere when the
02:04:07 verse is right but
02:04:09 so you can absolutely see
02:04:12 that
02:04:14 the idea of God came from Adam and
02:04:17 through posterity right yes no yeah

02:05:00 how knowing the nature of God is a
02:05:03 tradition passed down from our fathers
02:05:05 until we can know it for ourselves so
02:05:07 what that showed me as well is if we are
02:05:10 following false Traditions then we need
02:05:13 to ask Yahweh ourselves and understand
02:05:16 and know the nature of him because it
02:05:19 can either be a true tradition or a
02:05:21 false tradition taught to us either way
02:05:24 it’s a tradition and we need to know the
02:05:25 nature for ourselves
02:05:27 exactly right and Yahweh will hear a
02:05:31 sincere prayer
02:05:32 with the intent
02:05:34 of
02:05:35 doing what the answer is right yeah
02:05:39 really we’ll do it
02:05:42 even if you’re stepped in sin he’ll

02:05:48 goes along with that he’s going to tell
