Summary:

Expounding John 3:16 and surrounding verses for context. Elohim so loved the plan of salvation. Holding onto false traditions makes it hard to accept the truth. Yeshua gives some tough love. There is a place for listening to teachers, but take it back to the scriptures. Apostle means sent one. Look to the wisdom of the cross. Yeshua will give you peace even while life is hard. Anyone who believes in Yeshua, not just specific groups. Hebrew belief causes action. Ears are symbolic of obedience. Faith is trust and diligence. Eternal Life, Sanctification, Celestial Glory, Grace, Baptism of the Holy Spirit are phrases for the same thing. Holy Spirit is Torah, spirit means behavior, and Torah teaches us how to behave holy. Holy Spirit and Holy Ghost are the same thing and have the same Greek words behind them. The definition of world shows multiple planets are part of it as with the Polar Configuration. Multiple definitions of world gives the idea of a system. Yeshua did the atonement for those who would accept it. Greek word behind English world states order and adornment. Elohim so love the plan of covering. Sadly people twist John 3:16 to support lawless behavior. Greek shows that belief and faith are interchangeable. Sermon on Torah / Mount supports multiple glories in the kingdom of heaven. Multiple glories in one kingdom. Yeshua does condemn, but He wants to save. The wages of sin is death. If you paid the debt of your sin, you will never see Yeshua. Those who receive telesteria glory will not see Yeshua after judgement. Only praising Yeshua will not get you to be with Him. After you have accepted Yeshua, you are rewarded for your works. Those who work lawlessness with not be with Yeshua. Scriptures teach us who Yeshua is. Character is revealed in what you do. Hebrews are about becoming, Greeks are about knowing. The idiom, “that’s the spirit”, shows that spirit means behavior. The Holy Spirit does not possess us as demons do. Elohim so love the plan of covering. Son means follower, and Yeshua practiced what He preached in Heaven.

00:00:07 teaching on John 3:16 uh it’s a very
00:00:12 famous one and I would almost say the
00:00:16 most famous one right um also the most
00:00:21 also most often quoted most
00:00:23 misunderstood one of the most
00:00:26 misunderstood uh yes and hopefully we
00:00:29 can up some of that misunderstanding so
00:00:33 absolutely um but maybe to start Zach
00:00:36 are you willing to read verse 16 for us
00:00:38 because that’s the meat of it but we’re
00:00:40 going to we’re going to look at stuff
00:00:42 before and after but let’s just see what
00:00:45 so people know what John 3:16 is if they
00:00:47 live in a cave okay
00:00:50 okay where Elohim sold up the world that
00:00:53 he gave his only begotten son that
00:00:56 whosoever believeth in him should not
00:00:59 perish have everlasting life y that is
00:01:03 how it is in the King James so
00:01:10 um I’ll say that’s true but I’m gonna um
00:01:14 before we start going into the verse and
00:01:16 starting like kind of get into it I’m
00:01:18 going to read
00:01:20 it and translate it a little different
00:01:23 okay and then we’ll get into why I say
00:01:27 this so for him so loved the Plan of
00:01:33 Salvation that he came down himself as
00:01:36 the only begotten son that whosoever
00:01:39 believeth in him should not perish but
00:01:44 have
00:01:45 everlasting
00:01:47 life
00:01:48 now uh and maybe he said of should I
00:01:52 should do
00:01:54 hopefully will not perish but hopefully
00:01:58 will do what required
00:02:00 to have everlasting life yeah because
00:02:04 there is yes salvation is a free gift
00:02:09 but then you rewarded for your Works um
00:02:13 anyways so with that little Prelude
00:02:16 let’s start with first I think 14 is
00:02:19 good one for setting context
00:02:22 okay um because it’s talking about the
00:02:25 atonement there and that has to do with
00:02:28 what I said the Plan of Salvation and
00:02:30 we’ll we’ll we’ll go into the um Greek
00:02:33 even to help support why I said it that
00:02:35 way
00:02:36 okay uh Matt will you read verse 14 yes
00:02:41 and as Moses lifted up the servant in
00:02:43 the wilderness even so must the son of
00:02:46 man be lifted
00:02:48 up so um this is Yeshua talking to
00:02:54 Nicodemus right and trying to help him
00:02:58 understand um
00:03:00 because he’s kind of torn Nicodemus is
00:03:03 torn between the two worlds some he he
00:03:07 sees good things in Yeshua but he is
00:03:11 still somewhat tied to his false
00:03:14 Traditions which is making it hard for
00:03:16 him to accept things right making it
00:03:19 hard for him to understand even what
00:03:21 yesu was talking about yeah yeah yeah
00:03:24 and then just earlier um for those who
00:03:28 think uh Jesus is always nice
00:03:32 and loving or nice loving uh Yeshua
00:03:37 earlier does kind of give uh some tough
00:03:40 love up here I don’t remember the verse
00:03:42 but I’ll just say it he’s
00:03:45 like what you’re a teacher and you don’t
00:03:47 know these things he kind of called him
00:03:50 out he gave him some little tough love
00:03:52 there yeah I
00:03:54 did um so for those who think yeser was
00:03:57 lovey doy
00:04:00 I’m sorry you don’t know your New
00:04:03 Testament and those who don’t think the
00:04:06 god of the Old Testament which is
00:04:08 actually the same God of the New
00:04:10 Testament is not loving you don’t know
00:04:12 your Old Testament you’re going off of
00:04:14 false Traditions that you’re getting
00:04:16 from
00:04:17 men and false teachers
00:04:21 so I
00:04:24 I please read don’t
00:04:27 so on this point
00:04:30 there is a place in listening to
00:04:33 teachers
00:04:35 okay in fact Paul he was a
00:04:39 teacher right he was a scent one he was
00:04:42 a scent one he went places to
00:04:47 teach
00:04:49 um well that’s actually the meaning
00:04:51 apostle was sent one right so anyways
00:04:55 um he helped them understand yeah always
00:05:00 ways but they had to do their own study
00:05:03 and that’s why I used the word helped
00:05:06 they have to put in their own effort in
00:05:10 also yeah and hopefully this will help
00:05:15 as in you put in your own effort too to
00:05:17 help make some of the
00:05:20 connections that you might not have made
00:05:22 on your own okay um
00:05:26 anyways also I want to bring out the
00:05:29 image
00:05:30 with the serpent being lifted upon the
00:05:34 cross since we’re on this subject a
00:05:36 little
00:05:37 bit
00:05:38 um so obviously the symbolism of the
00:05:41 Cross or the or or the tree because it’s
00:05:46 referred as in both ways in within the
00:05:48 scriptures right um is
00:05:53 Yeshua uh on the cross okay yes
00:05:57 now but why serpent
00:06:03 oh now um serpent is an ancient symbol
00:06:07 of wisdom correct very good Ben so the
00:06:11 serpent being raised up the cross is
00:06:14 saying look at the wisdom at the
00:06:20 cross in fact even when you go look at
00:06:23 that
00:06:25 history the way they were healed was to
00:06:29 look at that
00:06:33 wisdom yeah
00:06:37 showing we all need the
00:06:40 Messiah
00:06:43 yes and everybody could use a little
00:06:47 wisdom uh yes we all could use a little
00:06:49 wisdom but even more
00:06:54 important
00:06:55 exactly we can
00:06:58 use the Messiah that died on the cross
00:07:01 absolutely
00:07:03 am I know I need
00:07:06 it and I’m very grateful for it yes I
00:07:11 may not talk about that enough because
00:07:13 sometimes I get emotional about it
00:07:17 but I’m very grateful I wouldn’t be who
00:07:21 I am if it wasn’t for
00:07:24 that um and and probably even more
00:07:28 importantly
00:07:31 I wouldn’t be able to become what I need
00:07:33 to become if it wasn’t for him
00:07:38 yeah and
00:07:40 although life has its travails its
00:07:48 hardships if you’re seeking to do his
00:07:51 will to become like
00:07:53 him he will give you peace so
00:07:58 although there’s things you have to deal
00:08:01 with
00:08:06 yeah you’ll be
00:08:08 okay okay you won’t be
00:08:12 overwhelmed you won’t
00:08:14 be consumed by it you won’t feel like
00:08:20 it’s the end of your
00:08:22 life he left us
00:08:26 comfortless correct
00:08:31 so please look to the wisdom of the
00:08:36 Cross yeah because without it we are
00:08:43 nothing
00:08:45 okay all right Ben uh are you where you
00:08:48 can read verse 15 yes I can
00:08:52 okay all right all
00:08:57 righty who
00:09:00 that
00:09:02 whosoever that’s not that that means
00:09:05 whosoever that means literally what it
00:09:07 says you mean it’s not just uh black
00:09:11 Israelites that’s right not just black
00:09:14 Israelites not just uh not just Mormons
00:09:18 not just Baptists not just udic
00:09:21 believing Jews uh the whoever whosoever
00:09:26 believeth in him him is Yeshua to make
00:09:29 sure in him yeah in him is the son the
00:09:33 personage of the son Yeshua should not
00:09:36 perish but have eternal
00:09:40 life now um now the now the interesting
00:09:43 thing is now this actually brings us to
00:09:47 a point
00:09:49 here believeth in
00:09:51 him this belief has to be of the kind
00:09:54 that causes us not to perish it causes
00:09:57 our souls not to perish it can’t just be
00:10:00 a mental
00:10:01 affirmation yeah yeah so on with what
00:10:04 Ben saying hopefully I didn’t interrupt
00:10:06 sorry if I did no you’re you can
00:10:08 interrupt now yeah uh this is going off
00:10:11 of Hebrew belief and not Greek belief as
00:10:15 and I just know about it and I don’t do
00:10:17 anything about it a Hebrew belief is it
00:10:21 causes action well he Hebrew belief is
00:10:23 very functional in that if you believe
00:10:26 it you shape your life around and if you
00:10:29 don’t shape your life around it you
00:10:31 don’t believe it or simple simply put if
00:10:34 you believe it you do
00:10:37 it yeah yeah in fact just just because I
00:10:40 love
00:10:42 symbolism um you could probably guess to
00:10:45 the context but what is ears uh symbolic
00:10:50 of obedience yes because of the Hebrew
00:10:55 function as Bren just brought up yeah
00:10:58 when you list
00:10:59 in Hebrew thought you do that’s right so
00:11:06 well and
00:11:07 I and that’s interesting that you put it
00:11:10 that way listening
00:11:13 so there’s there’s a funny little thing
00:11:18 a snippet that I was always taught when
00:11:20 I was in the youth program if you’re
00:11:24 hearing H you know it’s like a passive
00:11:27 thing and this is Greek understanding
00:11:29 here right if you’re just hearing it’s
00:11:33 very passive you’re not really you don’t
00:11:36 really have the
00:11:38 intent to do anything or act on what
00:11:42 you’re
00:11:43 hearing but if you’re listening it’s an
00:11:46 active dealio so the Greek thought is
00:11:50 there’s difference between hearing and
00:11:53 listening Hebrew
00:11:56 thought hearing is listen correct
00:12:00 because you
00:12:02 are in the mode of taking what you are
00:12:06 receiving and making it a part of who
00:12:09 you are and this is why yes this is why
00:12:12 so often it is repeated he who has ears
00:12:15 to hear Let Him
00:12:17 hear yes because he to our Greek
00:12:23 sensitivities this would seem kind of
00:12:26 like well of course they they have ears
00:12:28 they here right right I’m not deaf I’m
00:12:33 hoping I’m using the right word right
00:12:35 yeah you got it I’m not deaf of course I
00:12:37 hear
00:12:39 you but the point
00:12:41 is it’s not talking about
00:12:44 that right it’s talking about if you
00:12:48 have the ear if you
00:12:50 have if you to boil it down into the
00:12:53 Greek understanding it’s basically if
00:12:55 you have the ears to hear and the heart
00:12:57 to understand the heart to understand
00:12:59 and do yes
00:13:03 yeah yeah then let it be
00:13:07 so and also just this um so faith is
00:13:12 trust and diligence and so this uh
00:13:16 Hebrew idea of
00:13:19 believe is trust because you you’re
00:13:21 listening so you trust it and then you
00:13:23 do
00:13:24 it
00:13:26 yeah um and I think that’s partly
00:13:29 why
00:13:34 um I used to be confused about belief
00:13:37 and faith and what’s the difference and
00:13:38 why I use one or the other at times I’m
00:13:41 not anymore it’s uh just preference at
00:13:45 the
00:13:46 time they mean the same thing tomato
00:13:51 tomato so it’s really not a big deal or
00:13:55 it’s a sin or transgression it’s the
00:13:57 same thing well right but here’s the
00:14:01 thing if it really does make sense if
00:14:04 you believe something why aren’t you
00:14:07 going to do
00:14:08 it right right um well if you didn’t do
00:14:12 it you don’t really believe it right
00:14:14 right if you believe that a volcano is
00:14:17 going to erupt underneath your house you
00:14:19 would get out of the
00:14:22 house and drive a long way away from
00:14:26 there yeah I think you need to go back
00:14:28 in history talk to P pompe but anyway
00:14:32 yeah yeah
00:14:34 yeah anyways um so anyways that whoever
00:14:40 has faith in
00:14:42 Yeshua shall have eternal life which or
00:14:46 being is
00:14:47 Sanctified yes um Celestial Glory yeah
00:14:52 and hopefully I’m getting this one right
00:14:54 sometimes I get these two M mixed up
00:14:57 Grace instead of Mercy because Grace is
00:14:59 better than Mercy if I’m remembering my
00:15:01 order correctly uh yes Grace is Grace
00:15:05 Grace goes beyond Mercy okay yeah that’s
00:15:08 good that I remembered because
00:15:10 sometimes but at the same time it’s
00:15:12 important to remember that Mercy is the
00:15:15 beginning of Grace oh correct Mercy is
00:15:18 the beginning of Grace but uh Grace is
00:15:22 more so and Grace is
00:15:25 sanctification Mercy is justification so
00:15:29 go back in history a little bit see as
00:15:31 we’re talking about Moses
00:15:34 right it was
00:15:37 Grace that yaha gave us his law to
00:15:45 live he didn’t have
00:15:48 to but he showed us grace and mercy at
00:15:52 the same time by giving us that and it’s
00:15:57 interesting with that point with been I
00:15:59 mean Matt bringing
00:16:01 out it’s
00:16:04 um we weer Grace when we are keeping his
00:16:08 law which is why we will get Sanctified
00:16:12 correct because sanctification is also
00:16:15 known as the baptism of the Holy Spirit
00:16:18 and the Holy Spirit is Torah it is the
00:16:22 behavior that tells us how to be
00:16:27 holy exactly MH
00:16:31 exactly
00:16:33 um I I I do understand that a lot of
00:16:37 English translations can confuse the
00:16:40 matter in fact even just on the Holy
00:16:42 Spirit and the Holy Ghost you go look at
00:16:44 all those instances in the New
00:16:47 Testament guess what it’s translator
00:16:50 preference from one or the other it’s
00:16:52 the same Greek words yeah it’s
00:16:55 translator preference that’s all it is
00:16:59 there is no difference between the Holy
00:17:01 Spirit and the Holy Ghost yeah yeah and
00:17:04 I have a post on it showing it from The
00:17:06 Book of Mormon but anyways
00:17:10 um they’re the same thing it’s just
00:17:13 translator basis biased or and uh the
00:17:18 Book of Mormon uses King James English
00:17:21 so that’s why it’s kind of using both so
00:17:23 anyways um that’s probably enough on
00:17:26 that uh so Zach

00:17:38 us like say
00:17:41 written oh however you want that’s
00:17:44 fine

00:17:48 Elohim all ofed the world yeah that he
00:17:52 gave
00:17:54 us gave himself in the form of the Sun
00:18:00 that whoever so believeth in him should

00:18:03 perish but have everlasting
00:18:06 life so even here everlasting life and
00:18:09 eternal life is the same thing so this
00:18:11 is where an example where they’re using
00:18:13 different phrases to mean the same thing
00:18:16 right now I’ll be honest I don’t know if
00:18:18 the uh Greek under this or the Hebrew
00:18:20 under those two words are the same or
00:18:23 just using words that mean the same
00:18:24 thing I I I don’t know but I’m not too
00:18:27 worried about that one let’s focus on
00:18:29 the word word world that was a tongue
00:18:32 twister so to start off of let’s go look
00:18:35 at the 1828 dictionary and then we’ll
00:18:38 look at the Greek okay yeah so
00:18:45 um let me get this
00:18:49 up because even with the English you can
00:18:53 get this if you know English which I
00:18:57 didn’t growing up really so yeah as the
00:19:01 English put it as the people from
00:19:03 England put it we Americans don’t really
00:19:07 know English well I don’t even think the
00:19:10 English know English either now um but I
00:19:13 mean I all you have to do is listen to
00:19:16 them speak it and you’ll realize they
00:19:18 don’t know it
00:19:20 um
00:19:23 yeah okay so I’m I’m gonna pause here
00:19:26 for just a second okay yeah so that way
00:19:29 we can find the definition we want
00:19:30 without taking
00:19:33 time okay so here’s some definitions
00:19:37 from the word world that’s a tongue
00:19:42 twister um
00:19:45 so these aren’t perfect but they get
00:19:48 along the the idea behind it okay so
00:19:52 number one the universe this whole
00:19:56 system of created Globes are grass
00:19:59 bodies of matter so one thing before I
00:20:01 go along with how I think it applies
00:20:04 that does go along
00:20:06 how uh with the polar configuration how
00:20:09 the Earth does include more than just
00:20:12 the Earth because here is in the
00:20:15 1828
00:20:17 dictionary what that the world is
00:20:20 including other planets yeah it’s a
00:20:23 whole system yeah yeah it’s a
00:20:27 system Ty shadow of the Heavenly
00:20:32 system uh of God’s
00:20:36 system oh oh okay sure sure I I I just
00:20:39 because in the Fallen World it’s out of
00:20:44 order yeah yeah oh um yeah so we’ll get
00:20:47 on the system we’ll just focus on that
00:20:50 for a minute so and then the Earth that
00:20:54 one’s just about what we normally would
00:20:56 call the world of the earth so three
00:20:58 also goes on the idea how the Earth or
00:21:02 the world is more than just this one
00:21:05 planet so that’s not really much to do
00:21:07 with this subject but that has to do
00:21:09 with polar configuration stuff uh a lot
00:21:12 of history that’s been forgotten okay
00:21:14 yes uh but four helps with the idea of
00:21:17 it being a system it’s a system of
00:21:21 beings or orbs which occupi space which
00:21:24 also kind of literally goes along with
00:21:26 the polar configuration stuff cuz it’s
00:21:29 orbs as in multiple planets but there’s
00:21:33 the system part there right Al yeah also
00:21:37 system of beings as well yeah oh you’re
00:21:41 right right as in people yeah system of
00:21:44 people so that definitely goes with um
00:21:48 what I want to bring out in in John 3:16
00:21:51 but we’ll keep looking at the
00:21:53 definitions um there’s
00:21:55 15 uh mankind people in general
00:22:01 um and then there was another one oh 13
00:22:06 yeah uh where customs and manners is a
00:22:10 particular
00:22:12 system um now it does say of
00:22:16 men and and Ben wants to say something
00:22:19 and then I’ll say
00:22:20 something though well it does say of men
00:22:24 there in the in the um we must remember
00:22:29 that one of the titles of God one of the
00:22:32 titles of our
00:22:33 Elohim is man of
00:22:36 Holiness
00:22:38 yeah and
00:22:40 so yah so loved his
00:22:44 system his
00:22:47 Customs right that he came down in the
00:22:50 form of the
00:22:52 Sun that those who would walk in his
00:22:56 ways could have eternal life correct in
00:22:59 fact he loved it so much he gave his
00:23:01 life for it yes he he
00:23:07 I’m some people may not like this but
00:23:10 you can even get it from Isaiah 53 about
00:23:13 the suffering servant Yeshua did the
00:23:16 atonement for those who would accept it
00:23:20 not for those who wouldn’t
00:23:23 yeah um so he didn’t do it for everybody
00:23:28 you can see that in Isaiah 53 and you
00:23:30 can see it in
00:23:33 Jacob no I mean uh second
00:23:35 Nephi nine if I remember correct so
00:23:39 anyways um so but my point uh one thing
00:23:43 it which goes along with the idea this
00:23:45 is a system it’s a system of a
00:23:47 particular group of men right
00:23:51 yes uh
00:23:55 also uh the inhabitants of the Earth or
00:23:58 so people but people specific people
00:24:04 right um and and there’s a lot of
00:24:07 definitions here that are like the
00:24:09 opposite of some of the things we’ve
00:24:10 said but we’re not going to go over
00:24:12 those you can go look it up yourself so
00:24:15 I do think next it’s
00:24:17 important uh to go look at it

00:24:46 saying his only son that everyone who
00:24:49 believes oh wait a minute this even says
00:24:52 uh believes in him shall not perish but
00:24:55 have everlasting life so let’s go look
00:24:57 at the Greek word behind
00:25:03 world uh Ben you want to read this for

00:25:19 focus on this third one order oh isn’t
00:25:22 order like a

00:25:37 those who follow Torah become his
00:25:40 special

00:25:44 adorned with eternal
00:25:47 life and Glory you’ll be adorned with
00:25:49 Glory wait his covering you will be
00:25:53 adorned with his covering oh very good
00:25:58 that that’s good
00:26:01 yeah yeah so um good extra point there

00:26:12 supporting how I translated on the spot
00:26:16 right so let’s go back to
00:26:19 the uh King

00:27:17 people argue over that right there for
00:27:20 God or Elohim so Lov the world
00:27:25 but I understand why if fact I even
00:27:27 brought up one reason why from Isaiah 53
00:27:31 the atonement wasn’t for
00:27:33 everybody yeah the the well here’s the
00:27:36 thing this verse is often quoted in
00:27:39 support of Lawless Behavior
00:27:43 yep see God loved the
00:27:46 world right yeah beat you with a few
00:27:49 Stripes but all will be well oh wait a
00:27:52 minute that’s the godes the whole world
00:27:56 even he’s not going so
00:27:59 so and and so those who believe in him
00:28:02 are those who believe in him they don’t
00:28:04 have to they don’t have to demonstrate
00:28:07 that belief they just have to mentally
00:28:09 Ascent to it and they are free from
00:28:11 punishment oh that sounds like
00:28:13 manifestation holy crap uh yeah it
00:28:17 actually does and that’s from the cult
00:28:19 um
00:28:20 so anyways um but when when you
00:28:29 take other scriptures into account and
00:28:31 even definition of words into
00:28:34 account
00:28:36 right it it really what really makes
00:28:40 sense and this is where translations
00:28:42 push
00:28:43 theology if they intended to or not it
00:28:47 does yep Elohim so loved his Plan of
00:28:54 Salvation that he would cover
00:28:58 or he so loved his
00:29:00 covering which is part of the Plan of
00:29:03 Salvation I think Plan of Salvation
00:29:04 makes more sense here though but that he
00:29:07 gave his only begotten
00:29:11 son that whosoever would come to
00:29:15 him should not perish but have
00:29:18 everlasting life the everlasting life is
00:29:21 where covering comes in
00:29:25 correct but have so I also want to point
00:29:29 out one other
00:29:33 thing that should not perish but have
00:29:37 everlasting life those are the two
00:29:40 extremes
00:29:42 yeah yeah
00:29:45 yes and we’ll also if we read a little
