1835 D&C section 101, last edition while Joseph Smith was alive. The only major church that removed it was the LDS church. It states one man and one wife, to marry in public where everyone can see it, and that polygamy is a crime.
1835 Doctrine and Covenants was voted on as a commandment UNAMIMOUSLY.

Jacob IsBell has recently awoken to the fact that Joseph Smith only faught against polygamy and has started a YouTube channel Disciple Of Christ. So far he has not shared anything I have not already come across. But the videos I have watched from him, he has brought a renewed spirit and vigor to the subject. I enjoyed his 2 Nephi 28:28 video, where he shares how his stake president hands were trembling while talking about this subject.
Here are somethings I have written on the subject.
At the bottom of this slightly annotated 1835 Doctrine and Covenants General Assembly: Votes it shows how everyone voted for monogamy.
2 Nephi (LDS 14:1) (RLDS 8:65) (Isaiah 4:1) And in that day seven [flee seven ways see Deuteronomy 28:25] women [churches] shall take hold of one man [Yeshua/Jesus], saying, We will eat our own bread [word/oral traditions], and wear our own apparel [righteousness]: only let us be called by thy name [no scripture where a woman is called by her husband’s name], to take away our reproach [sin see Proverbs 14:34].

For those who believe monogamy is YHWH plan for men and women and that polygamy is an abomination unto YHWH, at first glance Alma (LDS 10:11) (RLDS 8:16-17) could be a bit of a stumbling block, but with a little investigation and thought we will learn it’s not.

In conclusion the fact that LDS supposed D&C 132:40 contradicts so many verses in the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants, I take this verse as another example and evidance that the LDS supposed D&C 132:40 is not from YHWH through Joseph Smith but a concoction of Brigham Young and his cohorts.
MUCH vs ALL in LDS D&C 130:40
Brings out how 2 Nephi (LDS 28:8) (RLDS 12:10-11) states that one thing is wrong and the supposed LDS D&C 132:26 says it is good, and actually a blessing for entering inot polygamy.

Brings out how the Noahites/Limhites could not escape the consequences of polygamy just like the LDS / Brighamite church can’t escape it either.
King Brigham
The BoM teaches something different about sealings than what the LDS church does.
This is the sealing power, to pronounce what heaven has already been decreed, because those who have the sealing power will do nothing with it except what the Father wants done. We know Nephi “sought [God’s] will and to keep [God’s] commandments” because God attributed this to Nephi in Helaman (LDS 10:4) (RLDS 3:115-116). In the next verse God adds more emphasis to this idea, “for thou [Nephi] shalt not ask that which is contrary to my will” Helaman (LDS 10:5) (RLDS 3:117).
Sealing Power

LDS supposed D&C 132:1 contradicts that we need to have real intent to receive answers in pray when remembering the supposed story of Joseph Smith being told by an angel with a flaming sword to practice it or die, beceause Joseph Smith was not going to.

Early while waking up to the problems in the stories I grew up with. I realized that those who claimed to believe in Joseph Smith as a prophet were saying he was a liar and that YHWH told him to lie. If you believed that Joseph Smith was a liar how could you believe anything that Joseph Smith said or anything YHWH said as claiming YHWH told him to lie is making YHWH a liar Himself.
2 Nephi (LDS 9:34) (RLDS 6:68) Wo unto the liar, for he shall be thrust down to hell.

32 And again, the Lord God hath commanded that men should not murder; that they should not lie; that they should not steal; that they should not take the name of the Lord their God in vain; that they should not envy; that they should not have malice; that they should not contend one with another; that they should not commit whoredoms; and that they should do none of these things; for whoso doeth them shall perish. 33 For none of these iniquities come of the Lord;
Joseph Smith story was consistent. Brigham Young’s story has inconsistencies in it. Who are you going to believe?
