Summary:
Going over the blessings of Jacob’s sons. Perhaps why Jacob needed 12 sons is because 12 represents governance. YHWH stated that the New Translation is a Translation not a commentary. Joseph’s sons are talked about as they are Jacob’s and as they are Joseph’s. Name means character. Joseph’s additional sons are part of the tribes of Manasseh and Ephraim. Joseph saved Jacob’s house because of his righteousness. Joseph’s first half of history is about Yeshua’s first coming hence the Messiah of Joseph. Joseph’s last half of history is about Yeshua’s second coming. Dead Sea Scrolls teach against polygamy. Dead Sea Scrolls state that the Book of Enoch is fan fiction. Joseph Smith did not write himself into the scriptures, he restored a passage of the coming Mighty and Strong One, which is not Joseph Smith. Reincarnation aka Multiple Mortal Probations is not from YHWH. Manasseh’s two lands is prophetic of Lehi going to the new land. The well in Manasseh is symbolic of the Book of Mormon. The angel of YHWH is YHWH. Nations is translated from the same Hebrew word that Gentiles is translated from. Adultery has ties to idolatry. Dinah was not raped by Shechem. That history is prophetic of when the Gentiles first started joining the faith after Yeshua’s death. Jew’s are not keeping Torah, they are keeping their Oral law. Shiloh is Yeshua / Jesus. The veil of the temple ripping was showing that the Judah lost their authority. Judaizers were pushing circumcision after it was not required anymore. Wine is not grape juice. The tribe of Dan not listed as part of the 144,000 could be because of his blessing in Genesis 49. Joseph running over the wall goes with Lehi, Manasseh’s two lands in the old world and land in the new world, and also related to Ephraim and the Gentiles. Prophecy of the coming Mighty and Strong One in Joseph’s blessing with no New Translation. Many good people are listening to the wrong teachers. Jacob went to be with the sanctified. You can repent of everything.

00:00:03 Good evening, brothers and sisters. Um,
00:00:09 we’re uh coming together. We’re coming
00:00:11 together again on another Sabbath
00:00:13 evening.
00:00:14 And we’re going to we’re going to go
00:00:17 over the blessings
00:00:20 uh that Jacob gave to
00:00:25 Joseph, his sons, and also Jacob’s sons
00:00:30 in Genesis 48 49. Um these blessings are
00:00:32 important because they contain
00:00:37 information in them that was um relevant
00:00:42 that is relevant both in the u first
00:00:46 entry into the land and all the way down
00:00:49 to the la all the way down to the latest
00:00:53 day of which Israel is of significance.
00:00:55 Now
00:00:56 um
00:00:59 we we we all know that the true Israel
00:01:03 is that are those who keep uh he’ll
00:01:07 commandments and do what pleases him.
00:01:09 But um there is
00:01:12 which I just in support of that I goes
00:01:15 along the idea from the New Testament
00:01:18 that Yahw can make believers out of
00:01:22 these rocks aka revelations.
00:01:25 So yes, and so with so with that in
00:01:28 mind, these 12 tribes are still
00:01:29 significant
00:01:33 as um
00:01:36 most of them are mentioned
00:01:39 mentioned again in are still significant
00:01:41 even at the end times as most of them
00:01:44 are mentioned except for Dan uh in the
00:01:47 book of Revelation among the 144,000 as
00:01:51 they’re talking about the 144,000.
00:01:53 So, um,
00:01:56 well, I I I don’t know
00:02:00 which ones, but there would be two
00:02:03 excluded
00:02:03 or more because I do know Ephraim and
00:02:08 Manasseh are uh mentioned. Correct.
00:02:12 Yeah. Uh, Joseph uh particularly Ephraim
00:02:15 as the birthright son of Joseph. Joseph
00:02:16 is mentioned,
00:02:19 right? Right. But Joseph is Ephraim. Is
00:02:21 Manasseh mentioned?
00:02:22 Manasseh is mentioned.
00:02:26 Okay. So, um
00:02:28 would be Simeon.
00:02:31 They anyways there’s just
00:02:33 we’ll we but we’ll we’ll check in we’ll
00:02:34 check in.
00:02:36 We can look at that later. We’ll look at
00:02:39 we’ll look at that as we go as we
00:02:41 It’s just the the list sometimes are
00:02:44 very are different at different times
00:02:47 because depending how you look at it
00:02:50 there there could be like
00:02:53 14 tribes, right?
00:02:56 But yeah, but but the point is is that
00:02:59 the 12 tribes of Israel is a very
00:03:01 significant thing with regards to the
00:03:02 restoration of Israel. There will be 12
00:03:05 gates on the city of Zion, one for each
00:03:07 tribe of Israel. There’ll be uh you know
00:03:12 it’s the symbology is um is there
00:03:12 throughout.
00:03:17 Yes. Yes. And on this symbology here’s I
00:03:19 don’t know 100% but this makes sense to
00:03:23 me. Uh considering that Jacob, Israel
00:03:28 was a preparer who is to um and like the
00:03:30 coming mighty and strong one is to
00:03:32 restore Torah or bring people to Torah.
00:03:37 Um right. Um anyways, 12 has to do with
00:03:40 governance and we are to govern
00:03:42 ourselves by Torah. So,
00:03:46 I do believe that explains why Israel
00:03:49 was so worried about having 12 tribes
00:03:51 that were righteous.
00:03:52 Yeah.
00:03:57 So, that is my theory. Um,
00:03:59 it makes sense to me. Take it with a
00:04:01 grain of salt, right?
00:04:05 Yeah. we all all thing, you know,
00:04:10 um this is one of those things and you
00:04:12 know I can see I can see how it m I can
00:04:17 see how it makes sense. Um
00:04:20 I don’t know in the scripture
00:04:23 I
00:04:25 check it with you check it with logic. I
00:04:26 don’t know if there’s a whole lot of
00:04:30 scripture on that. Uh I I don’t know any
00:04:33 um it’s this is just as me trying to
00:04:36 understand uh reasons why behind things.
00:04:39 This is what
00:04:41 makes sense to me. So take it with a
00:04:43 grain of salt. So, we’re going to go
00:04:46 into these we’re going to go into these
00:04:49 blessings uh which are of great
00:04:51 significance as Jacob saw all that would
00:04:56 befall his all that would befall his um
00:04:59 posterity down to the latest generation.
00:05:04 Um and so and so without further ado,
00:05:05 we’re going to get into this by getting
00:05:08 into the blessing which he by getting
00:05:09 into the blessings which he gave to
00:05:12 Joseph’s sons.
00:05:15 Um
00:05:15 uh and it’s interesting that he’s the
00:05:19 one who confers the blessing upon
00:05:22 Joseph’s sons and the and the reason why
00:05:27 is given to us in in uh Genesis 48 verse
00:05:31 5. And the new translation
00:05:33 uh some people want to call it the
00:05:35 Joseph Smith translation, some people
00:05:38 want to call it the inspired version. I
00:05:39 call it the new translation because
00:05:43 that’s what you hook called it in the uh
00:05:45 DNC doctrine and covenants.
00:05:47 Yeah.
00:05:48 All times, not just one. Makes
00:05:49 sense.
00:05:51 And just on that one point, one thing
00:05:52 that annoys me a little bit, people
00:05:56 today try to say it’s a commentary.
00:05:57 No.
00:06:00 Uh
00:06:02 said translation.
00:06:07 Yeah. And the other thing about that is
00:06:09 um
00:06:11 I’ve read several excellent Bible
00:06:13 commentaries and the uh new translation
00:06:14 does not read like one.
00:06:17 Well, yeah, it’s right there in line,
00:06:20 not in the side. Anyways, I it’s not a
00:06:22 commentary, it’s a translation,
00:06:25 you know, and I and I would encourage
00:06:29 people to um find uh to find a good a
00:06:31 few good Bible commentaries. It’ll help
00:06:33 you as you get started looking at
00:06:35 things. Um,
00:06:37 you can get free ones off of Bible Hub,
00:06:38 so you don’t have to
00:06:39 That’s right.
00:06:39 So,
00:06:41 that’s right. You don’t have to spend
00:06:43 any money for them.
00:06:46 But, uh, so yeah, it’s you can get some
00:06:48 you can get some ideas about what some
00:06:50 things might mean and uh, at least what
00:06:53 some of these really hoy paloy educated
00:06:55 people think they mean. So, there you
00:06:56 go.
00:06:57 Hoy paloy. Huh.
00:07:00 Yeah.
00:07:01 Oh,
00:07:03 so we’re going to start in verse five
00:07:06 here because this is where uh Jacob
00:07:09 gives the justification
00:07:12 where Jacob adopts Ephraim and Manasseh
00:07:14 giving him the justification for giving
00:07:16 the father’s blessing to those to
00:07:20 Joseph’s two sons.
00:07:23 These uh starting in verse five of
00:07:25 chapter 48 in the new translation. And
00:07:27 now of thy two sons, Ephraim and
00:07:29 Manasseh, which were born unto thee in
00:07:31 the land of Egypt, before I came to unto
00:07:35 thee in Egypt, behold, they are mine.
00:07:37 Now, I do want to bring out that
00:07:39 although here’s Abraham claiming them as
00:07:42 his Jacob,
00:07:44 I mean, sorry, uh,
00:07:44 Jacob,
00:07:46 Israel is claiming
00:07:52 as his sons. There are times that uh
00:07:54 they are also still described after this
00:07:58 as Joseph. So they’re they’re both now.
00:08:00 Yeah. They they represent both they
00:08:04 represent now both uh Joseph and Israel.
00:08:06 Yeah.
00:08:08 And the God of my fathers shall bless
00:08:11 them even as Reuben and Simeon shall
00:08:13 they be blessed. Now this doesn’t mean
00:08:15 that they’re replacing necessarily
00:08:17 Reuben and Simeon. It’s just he’s just
00:08:19 saying this because they will be blessed
00:08:21 uh because they are his sons just like
00:08:25 Reuben and Simeon are
00:08:26 for they are mine. Wherefore
00:08:32 you do got if this is to bring 12 which
00:08:34 I do believe is the case
00:08:36 they did replace others. So
00:08:38 they did they did replace others but
00:08:41 Levi especially when it comes to land
00:08:43 inheritance where Levi was completely
00:08:45 done out of a land inheritance.
00:08:47 Yeah. Yeah. And then this gets into the
00:08:49 issue where um
00:08:51 there’s different lists at different
00:08:53 times.
00:08:53 Right.
00:08:56 Right. And and and we’ll we’ll go into
00:08:59 uh we’ll go into the uh we’ll go into
00:09:01 the Revelations list after we’re done
00:09:03 talking about the blessings.
00:09:05 Uh if we have time. It’s fine.
00:09:07 If we have time. If we have time. And if
00:09:10 I’m And if I’m not too u and if I’m not
00:09:12 too worn out.
00:09:13 Yeah.
00:09:14 Okay. So wherefore they shall be called
00:09:17 after my name, therefore they were
00:09:20 called Israel. Now when we have these
00:09:26 bold lines, these are lines that were um
00:09:28 these are lines that were restored.
00:09:32 Restored um because they were lost at
00:09:34 some point for whatever reason.
00:09:37 Um and it’s not just lines, which a lot
00:09:39 of times it is, but sometimes it’s just
00:09:40 a word. Right. So
00:09:44 Right. Um, and sometimes I’m and
00:09:46 sometimes I’m
00:09:49 and sometimes to be honest when it’s
00:09:51 just one word I’m not sure whether that
00:09:53 word was restored or whether he was
00:09:57 using that word to update the language.
00:09:59 Uh, that would depend on the case,
00:10:00 right?
00:10:01 Yeah.
00:10:03 Right.
00:10:04 So
00:10:06 there I I know there’s times where it
00:10:08 could be just updating the language, but
00:10:10 there’s other times I know he was
00:10:12 correcting it as in the way it should
00:10:13 have been. So
00:10:16 yeah, it depends on the case, but here
00:10:20 here we have lines. Um we have lines of
00:10:24 text that were restored. Um,
00:10:27 so
00:10:30 so and and I do think that some of these
00:10:32 lines that were restored are important.
00:10:35 Behold,
00:10:38 they are mine. It’s uh the our mine is
00:10:42 not is not restored, but behold they the
00:10:44 god of my father shall bless them.
00:10:46 That’s a really important statement.
00:10:49 Mhm.
00:10:49 They’re they’re being adopted not only
00:10:55 physically not only into his physical
00:10:59 lineage but his spiritual
00:11:00 because now the god of his fathers is
00:11:04 their god.
00:11:07 So, um, just a thought that popped in my
00:11:09 head, and now this is going to show how
00:11:12 I don’t have everything memorized, was
00:11:17 Reuben and Simeon were Joseph’s first I
00:11:18 mean, sorry,
00:11:21 Israel, Jacob’s first two sons, right?
00:11:23 Right. Yes.
00:11:25 So, I I maybe that’s why he’s bringing
00:11:28 up these two is because these are
00:11:30 Joseph’s two sons. Here’s my two first
00:11:32 sons, maybe.
00:11:34 Right. Right. Yep.
00:11:36 suggesting something on the
00:11:39 Yep. And that is and that is and that
00:11:42 and that makes sense. Um they shall be
00:11:46 blessed for they are mine. Wherefore
00:11:50 they shall be called after my name, the
00:11:54 character of Israel
00:11:55 and also the descendancy of Israel.
00:12:01 Um
00:12:06 in in in this instance name means
00:12:08 character just as much as it means
00:12:10 descendancy.
00:12:12 Mhm.
00:12:14 Okay. And thy issue which thou begottest
00:12:17 begget after them shall be thine and
00:12:19 shall be called after the name of their
00:12:22 brethren in their inheritance in the
00:12:24 tribes. Therefore they were called the
00:12:28 tribes of Manasseh and of Ephraim.
00:12:32 And so any children that Joseph has
00:12:35 after Ephraim and Manasseh will be a
00:12:36 part of the tribes of Ephraim and
00:12:37 Manasseh.
00:12:39 Mhm.
00:12:41 Which actually somewhat gives a little
00:12:44 more support for why listing the two
00:12:46 sons. Right.
00:12:47 Right.
00:12:48 Jacob.
00:12:49 So
00:12:51 yeah,
00:12:52 but I do think that’s a good point.
00:12:55 Anything uh that Joseph has later is
00:12:57 counted in those two tribes, right?
00:12:59 Yeah.
00:13:01 And Jacob said unto
00:13:05 and and Yakov said unto Ysef, “When the
00:13:08 God when the God of when the Elohim of
00:13:10 my fathers appeared unto me in L in the
00:13:14 land of Canaan, he swore unto me that he
00:13:16 would give unto me and unto my seed the
00:13:18 land for an everlasting possession.”
00:13:21 So this is so this is important when it
00:13:23 comes because he’s go what he’s going
00:13:27 over here is um
00:13:29 birthright
00:13:31 the fact that the land is given to y and
00:13:34 to yov
00:13:39 uh by birthright that land is his.
00:13:41 Therefore, oh my son, he hath blessed
00:13:43 me, and raising thee up to be a servant
00:13:47 unto me, and saving my house from death,
00:13:50 in delivering my people, thy brethren,
00:13:52 from famine, which was sore in the land.
00:13:54 Wherefore the And wherefore the Elohim
00:13:57 of thy fathers shall bless thee, and the
00:14:00 fruit of thy loins, then they shall be
00:14:02 blessed above thy brethren, and above
00:14:05 thy father’s house.
00:14:07 So
00:14:12 this is a reference. So this here he’s
00:14:15 there they Ysef is going to be blessed
00:14:18 above all of the other tribes of Israel
00:14:21 because of the because of the role that
00:14:24 he that he played in saving them and
00:14:27 doing the in doing Yahoo’s work so that
00:14:30 Yo’s promises could be kept.
00:14:32 Oh, I I I would go a little deeper
00:14:35 personally because of his righteousness.
00:14:36 Yes.
00:14:38 Um and it is because of his
00:14:42 righteousness, he uh in keeping Yahweh’s
00:14:45 ways that he was able to save the
00:14:48 people. Because if you go look at his
00:14:50 history through those times, if he would
00:14:52 have caved, a lot of the things that
00:14:54 happened to make it so he could save the
00:14:57 people would not have happened.
00:14:59 That is correct. And uh that that
00:15:03 reminds me um
00:15:05 you know it reminds me of that of the
00:15:09 verse in Isaiah chapter 43. He who waits
00:15:11 upon the Lord
00:15:16 shall rise up again shall rise up with w
00:15:18 like uh
00:15:22 on wings like eagles.
00:15:25 Showing that they have power. Right. Y
00:15:25 um
00:15:28 and and and talk about waiting on the
00:15:30 Lord.
00:15:32 That’s what Yseph had to do.
00:15:35 Uh if I reme I’m going vague memory
00:15:38 here, but I think some of his
00:15:41 tribulations was 14 years. Am I
00:15:42 remembering right?
00:15:42 Yes.
00:15:44 Yes.
00:15:46 Now, uh I I do want to say uh this real
00:15:50 quick. His first half in this history is
00:15:52 symbolic of his first coming. The second
00:15:56 half is about not Yeshua’s first coming.
00:15:59 The second half is about Yeshua’s second
00:16:02 coming which is what the phrase Messiah
00:16:05 day Joseph comes from is the first
00:16:09 coming also the 14 years is has uh
00:16:13 Masonic undertones also. So anyways,
00:16:17 yeah. But yeah, so he and so the
00:16:20 messianic undertones absolutely. So
00:16:25 yeah, ju Ysef is very much a sign
00:16:29 um his life and ministry to Israel is
00:16:32 very much a sign of the Messiah.
00:16:33 Mhm.
00:16:38 Um and so and so this uh and because he
00:16:42 and uh because he waited upon the Lord
00:16:44 was faithful
00:16:46 and trusted
00:16:49 in spite of
00:16:51 in spite of everything and through
00:16:54 everything he will be blessed above his
00:16:57 brethren and above his father’s house.
00:17:00 Yes. In fact, um
00:17:03 during uh Joseph’s days, he saved his
00:17:05 father’s house.
00:17:10 Uh and Joseph’s house will save all of
00:17:13 Israel during second coming events
00:17:16 at the at the at the at the end time
00:17:21 here. So, let’s go down. Okay,
00:17:23 so here we go. We’ll go further here a
00:17:26 little in verse 10. for thou hast
00:17:30 prevailed. Oh, wait a minute.
00:17:33 What is it that Yosh said to Jacob when
00:17:36 he wrestled with him?
00:17:41 Thou has uh wrestled with man in uh
00:17:43 Elohim and has prevailed
00:17:47 for and here he is handing that down to
00:17:49 his son.
00:17:52 You have prevailed. and thy father’s
00:17:55 house hath bowed down unto thee, even as
00:17:58 it was shown unto thee, before thou was
00:17:59 sold into Egypt by the hands of thy
00:18:01 brethren. Wherefore thy brethren shall
00:18:04 bow down unto thee from generation to
00:18:06 generation,
00:18:09 unto the fruit of thy loins forever. So
00:18:13 generation to generation
00:18:14 these
00:18:18 th this can mean
00:18:21 um this can mean generation and
00:18:23 descendancy from and descendancy from
00:18:28 people but often times when I see this I
00:18:32 think of the gospel generations where we
00:18:37 have the uh the generation of
00:18:39 messenger preparer
00:18:42 redeemer
00:18:45 and and so depending on context those
00:18:47 can be different. Three generations or
00:18:51 one generation can also mean 50. It’s a
00:18:53 tricky word.
00:18:54 Yeah. Mhm.
00:18:59 So it so basically so basically and what
00:19:02 you’ll find is that in many of these
00:19:04 generations of
00:19:09 um messenger, preparer, redeemer,
00:19:13 you’ll find at least in many of these
00:19:14 you’ll find at least one descendant of
00:19:17 Joseph.
00:19:19 We
00:19:21 I I’d have to look at that, but that’s
00:19:25 an interesting thought. Um,
00:19:25 now you you you said that in many of
00:19:28 them, not all of them.
00:19:30 I didn’t say all. I didn’t say all. I
00:19:33 said many because John because in the
00:19:35 one around the one around Yeshua, those
00:19:38 are all Jews.
00:19:43 Uh, well, John the Baptist was a Levite.
00:19:46 Yeah. Oh, yeah. Sorry. So you have a
00:19:47 Levite
00:19:50 and well and then his other half of that
00:19:54 one of um
00:19:55 right
00:19:57 but either way either way Benjamin’s not
00:20:01 Joseph either.
00:20:03 Um
00:20:07 yes, you’re right. He’s not He’s
00:20:08 Joseph’s brother.
00:20:10 That that particular generation there
00:20:11 was no Joseph.
00:20:14 Yeah. Well, so there is one the teacher
00:20:18 of righteousness I do believe is the
00:20:21 messenger there, but we don’t know
00:20:25 much of him, right? Um, so
00:20:28 what we do know what we do know is what
00:20:30 we do know is about the Essenes and it’s
00:20:33 pretty clear the what we do know is the
00:20:34 Essenes and it’s pretty clear that the
00:20:37 Essenes had twisted his teachings. Um
00:20:41 uh later on I I which is normal to
00:20:43 happen with these things,
00:20:44 right?
00:20:47 Yeah. What we do know is that what we do
00:20:51 know is that the Essenes definitely um
00:20:54 had I’ll just put it this way. They from
00:20:56 the days of the teacher of
00:20:59 righteousness, they had evolved
00:21:01 uh to the point where they had put aside
00:21:04 God’s calendar for the solar calendar.
00:21:06 They put aside they’d done a lot of
00:21:09 things that were not correct.
00:21:11 Yeah. Yes. One thing uh we got to give
00:21:14 them credit for they did speak out
00:21:16 against polygamy which I do believe is
00:21:18 correct.
00:21:18 Well done.
00:21:20 Well done.
00:21:23 Also the book Enoch that’s a big problem
00:21:26 today. They did this is not the word
00:21:29 they use but this is a modern day
00:21:32 equivalent. It’s fanfiction.
00:21:34 Yeah, basically the word that they used,
00:21:35 but anyway,
00:21:38 yeah, it’s um yeah, there
00:21:40 everybody everybody looks at these
00:21:43 records that were in Kuman as if that
00:21:45 everything in there was something that
00:21:49 um they thought was actually holy or
00:21:49 something.
00:21:51 Well, the words there actually state
00:21:54 that they knew the Pikah was not
00:21:55 scripture. So, I
00:21:58 I don’t remember the word they used, but
00:21:59 anyways.
00:22:02 Yeah. So it’s a I mean the Essenes the
00:22:05 Essenes were like many the Essenes were
00:22:08 like many people. They got they got some
00:22:10 things right from their teacher and they
00:22:12 got some things and they got some things
00:22:14 that they twisted from their teacher.
00:22:16 Yeah. Yeah. That’s normal. I mean that’s
00:22:17 happened with Joseph Smith. So
00:22:22 yeah. So that that um in any event in
00:22:25 that particular um generation there was
00:22:28 no Joseph. And the reason for that was
00:22:31 because Ephraim
00:22:34 had been divorced.
00:22:36 Yeah.
00:22:40 Yeah. Um
00:22:42 yeah, that’s a tricky subject and that’s
00:22:44 not one to talk about here. Um
00:22:46 that’s I’m just I’m just I’m just
00:22:48 bringing that up. I
00:22:50 know there’s a lot of interpretations on
00:22:52 that and I’ll just leave it at that. Um,
00:22:55 so, uh, one thing I think we ought to
00:22:57 bring out with this verse is unto the
00:23:01 unto thy loins forever. I
00:23:03 do wonder if that’s pointing to the
00:23:06 mighty strong one who is Ephraim who is
00:23:07 of Joseph.
00:23:10 Yes, this is um, this is talking about
00:23:13 the onto thy loins from generation onto
00:23:16 the fruit of thy loins forever. That is
00:23:19 a direct uh
00:23:25 that is a direct um connection wordwise
00:23:28 with the um revelation
00:23:32 uh to Joseph in Genesis chapter 50.
00:23:35 Yes. Which is not Joseph
00:23:37 which is about Joseph Smith. Joseph
00:23:38 Smith did not write himself into the
00:23:42 Bible of one mighty and strong who comes
00:23:44 at the end of time. Now, I will say
00:23:46 this. I I can understand why
00:23:49 non-believers have issues with it,
00:23:50 especially considering how even
00:23:53 believers don’t even understand it and
00:23:57 don’t teach it correctly. Um, but
00:23:58 but the key to understanding that it’s
00:24:00 not about Joseph Smith is understanding
00:24:03 what name means.
00:24:05 Well, and then also specifics what
00:24:07 actually was done too.
00:24:09 Yeah. also looking at the specifics of
00:24:12 what was done and you can realize that
00:24:15 uh Joseph Smith uh in no way
00:24:17 accomplished the things that are
00:24:18 prophesied there
00:24:20 right and you can’t do it as a
00:24:25 resurrected person and reincarnation
00:24:27 is from the pit of hell
00:24:28 the re
00:24:28 absolutely
00:24:30 the resurrected do not do the heavy
00:24:33 lifting on earth that is left to the
00:24:36 mort that is left to mortals
00:24:40 most uh I think and and this is just me
00:24:44 speculating on why that is that it’s
00:24:46 necessary
00:24:49 it’s something that helps us
00:24:51 yes it is something that helps us
00:24:54 that helps us to move uh it helps us in
00:24:55 our becoming
00:24:59 yes it does um and a resurrected person
00:25:02 can’t die so
00:25:04 which also goes against reincarnation
00:25:04 but
00:25:07 right or otherwise known as multip
00:25:09 multiple mortal probations.
00:25:10 Yeah, they they just say it different to
00:25:13 try to deattach, but it’s the exact same
00:25:16 thing. Um, so, but let’s pause for one
00:25:19 second. Okay.
00:25:19 Yeah.
00:25:24 So, under, so we were talking about unto
00:25:27 the fruit of thy loins forever. Um, and
00:25:29 that is a direct word tied to Genesis
00:25:33 50. Um,
00:25:34 where he prophesies concerning the fruit
00:25:35 of his loins.
00:25:38 Yes. And that’s in the new translation
00:25:39 portion
00:25:40 which
00:25:43 when you look at the technicalities it
00:25:45 is not Joseph Smith including the
00:25:49 technicalities with the DNC 101 103 105
00:25:51 of LDS
00:25:53 versifications I don’t have the other
00:25:55 ones memorized. So anyways,
00:25:56 yeah.
00:25:57 So it’s not talking
00:26:01 and DC 85 where Joseph Smith is actually
00:26:03 saying Yahweh’s revelation that he’s
00:26:06 going to be coming and it’s not
00:26:09 and it’s not him
00:26:11 and the fact that Joseph Smith is the
00:26:14 Elijah. Anyways, I could keep going, but
00:26:14 we’ll
00:26:17 Yeah, there’s uh there’s there’s so many
00:26:19 uh there are so many things that say
00:26:23 that the that Genesis 50 and third Nephi
00:26:25 and First Nephi, Second Nephi chapter 3
00:26:27 are not about Joseph Smith.
00:26:28 Mhm.
00:26:32 Okay. So, for thou shalt be a light unto
00:26:35 my people to deliver them in the days of
00:26:38 their captivity from bondage, and to
00:26:40 bring salvation to them when they are
00:26:42 altogether bowed down under sin. This is
00:26:46 a direct prophecy concerning the last
00:26:49 days. Not the latter days, the last
00:26:51 days, the very last days.
00:26:53 And this also points to the mighty and
00:26:56 strong one also.
00:26:58 So this is this is a blessing upon the
00:27:00 head of Joseph.
00:27:03 Yeah. Which is going and one of his
00:27:06 descendants is going to fulfill it.
00:27:09 Yeah.
00:27:10 So in a hint it’s both, right? There’s
00:27:14 two people. Joseph and descendant doing
00:27:15 it. So
00:27:18 yes, and therefore as for me when I c
00:27:21 when I came from Padan, Rachel died by
00:27:24 me in the land of Cananan in the way
00:27:27 when we were yet
00:27:27 but a little way to come onto and I
00:27:34 buried her there in the way of the name
00:27:38 the same is called Bethlehem.
00:27:40 That’s an interesting thing. Rachel
00:27:45 buried at Bethlehem.
00:27:47 Yeah. I think that’s the tradition which
00:27:51 here the source for it. Right.
00:27:54 So it’s true. I and I know they believe
00:27:57 they know where still. Whether if that’s
00:28:00 the case or not, I don’t know. But yeah,
00:28:02 right. That’s that’s a that’s an
00:28:05 interesting thing. Rachel, the
00:28:09 idolatrous wife buried at Bethlehem. and
00:28:11 and Yeshua
00:28:16 uh born uh born a son of Judah
00:28:20 at Bethlehem. Interesting interesting
00:28:21 correlation there.
00:28:24 Yeah. Well, even in the um
00:28:26 and here’s my
00:28:30 possible suggestion. In the end times,
00:28:34 there is going to be Ephraim/JSph
00:28:34 um which is from Rachel and Judah that
00:28:40 are going to be very important. And here
00:28:42 it is even at the first coming.
00:28:43 Yep.
00:28:45 There’s a lot of parallels. So,
00:28:46 absolutely.
00:28:49 That would be my quick suggestion. But
00:28:50 Mhm.
00:28:53 And Israel beheld Joseph’s sons and
00:28:56 said, “Who are these?”
00:28:58 And Joseph said unto his father, “What?
00:29:00 You could see them?” No, that’s uh
00:29:03 that’s not in the uh
00:29:06 I think you’re playing back to something
00:29:08 else.
00:29:10 Joseph said unto his father, “They are
00:29:14 my sons whom Y whom Elohim hath given to
00:29:20 me in this place or in this land.”
00:29:22 Now, I I I I know this sounds funny
00:29:25 because like he just like claimed them
00:29:28 right now. I you can tell I didn’t do
00:29:30 any prep for this as in as we’ve been
00:29:34 talking. I bet that points to a caazm.
00:29:36 Yeah.
00:29:39 Uh the interesting thing is is uh whom
00:29:42 God hath given to me in this land and
00:29:46 this land is Egypt. Um this is also and
00:29:49 this will be significant as we look to
00:29:53 uh what mo what as we look to modern day
00:29:58 Egypt with its great river and the um
00:30:03 and uh and where uh the land of where
00:30:05 the land of Joseph’s inheritance is as
00:30:08 he’s spraying over the well over the
00:30:12 wall. Mhm. Well, and so along since
00:30:16 you’re bringing that up, um the the one
00:30:18 that
00:30:21 sprang over the wall first at least,
00:30:24 right? Um
00:30:26 and well, that even could be tricky, but
00:30:28 anyways, one that sprung over was
00:30:30 Manasseh.
00:30:35 And Manasse had two lands.
00:30:37 Yes. Oh,
00:30:40 one on each side of the water.
00:30:41 Yes.
00:30:44 Aka river. Now, there’s a bigger river
00:30:47 aka Well, we wouldn’t call it a river,
00:30:48 but an ocean
00:30:51 that Manasseh did the same thing,
00:30:53 right? He’s got lands on both sides of
00:30:54 the ocean.
00:30:57 Yeah. Just as he had it on two sides of
00:30:59 the river. So,
00:31:00 uh and uh
00:31:02 and I actually really do believe that’s
00:31:04 prophetic. Uh, in addition, here’s
00:31:08 another one. The well that we’re
00:31:10 supposed to bring and and bring
00:31:12 everlasting life with
00:31:14 was in Manasseh.
00:31:15 Yes.
00:31:18 The one on the left
00:31:21 just as the one the book one
00:31:26 Manasseh came from the left.
00:31:26 The well is the Book of Mormon.
00:31:30 There we go.
00:31:34 And he said, okay, and he said, “Bring
00:31:35 them, I pray thee, unto me, and I will
00:31:37 bless them.” Now, the eyes of Israel
00:31:40 were dim for age. That was that was kind
00:31:41 of what I was going on to when I did
00:31:43 that joke reading.
00:31:46 Oh,
00:31:48 so that he could not see well. And he
00:31:52 brought them near unto him, and he
00:31:57 kissed them and embraced them. And no,
00:32:00 okay, stay serious here. And it is real.
00:32:03 So that’s kiss is symbolic of trust.
00:32:03 Okay.
00:32:05 Kiss is symbolic of trust. Yeah. The
00:32:08 kiss is symbolic of trust. The embrace,
00:32:11 the love,
00:32:14 the um bringing them in to
00:32:16 Well, I I would so I’d have to research
00:32:18 this one, but my first inclination, the
00:32:19 embracing is bringing him into his
00:32:22 bosom. Like the bosom of Abraham.
00:32:23 Yeah,
00:32:26 that would be my inclination, but
00:32:29 and I and and I agree with that. And
00:32:32 Israel said unto Joseph, “Had I had not
00:32:34 thought to see thy face, and lo God hath
00:32:38 showed me, and lo Elohim hath al hath
00:32:40 showed me also thy seed.” And Ysef
00:32:43 brought them down from between brought
00:32:45 them out from between his knees, and he
00:32:46 bowed himself with his face to the
00:32:49 earth. And Yseph took them both, Ephraim
00:32:52 in his right hand towards Israel’s left
00:32:54 hand, and Manasseh in his left hand
00:32:57 towards Israel’s right hand, and brought
00:33:00 them near unto him. And Israel stretched
00:33:03 out his right hand and laid it upon
00:33:06 Ephraim’s head, who was the younger, and
00:33:09 his left hand upon Manasses head guiding
00:33:11 his hands wittingly, which was
00:33:14 surprising
00:33:17 because his eyes weren’t very good, but
00:33:20 Manasseh was the first born. So
00:33:24 basically what’s going on here is
00:33:26 uh he’s going against the tradition of
00:33:29 which one gets the double blessing.
00:33:34 But this is also not um
00:33:37 this is not uncommon for this family.
00:33:39 No
00:33:45 I um No, it’s not. Uh cuz uh just look
00:33:47 at the history of them. Right.
00:33:50 Right. This is not uncommon for this
00:33:50 family. So,
00:33:52 look at the person giving the blessing.
00:33:54 No. Yeah, that’s kind of what I’m
00:33:56 referring to.
00:34:00 So, so let’s uh so let’s bring this down
00:34:01 again. Let’s bring up the next set of
00:34:03 verses.
00:34:06 And he blessed Ysef and said, “God, you
00:34:09 just real quick since uh John brings up
00:34:10 that point, right?”
00:34:14 Yeah. Um, I I would suggest that it
00:34:18 bringing out how his eyes are dim
00:34:23 is pointing back to when Jacob got it.
00:34:24 Yes.
00:34:24 Yes.
00:34:25 Yes.
00:34:29 So, and and uh one of these I don’t
00:34:30 think we’ve done a recording on this,
00:34:31 but we should talk about that because
00:34:34 it’s very symbolic. Um,
00:34:34 absolutely.
00:34:37 Well, even just the history of Joseph is
00:34:40 very symbolic, too. I Anyways, but we
00:34:42 that’s not for here.
00:34:44 Yeah, that’s for that’s for another
00:34:44 time.
00:34:45 Yeah.
00:34:49 Uh and he blessed Yoseph and said Elohim
00:34:52 before whom my fathers Abra Abraham and
00:34:56 Isach did walk. The Elohim which led me
00:35:00 all my lifelong into this day. The angel
00:35:03 which redeemed me from all evil. Oh. Oh.
00:35:05 Is he talking about the Elohim or is he
00:35:08 talking about the angel or
00:35:11 Yes, he’s talking to they’re both the
00:35:11 same being.
00:35:15 Oh, the angel of Yahweh is Yahweh.
00:35:16 Yeah.
00:35:19 Um and and
00:35:20 Well, we’ll leave it at that because
00:35:22 that gets into can of worms. But the
00:35:24 angel of Yahweh is Yahweh
00:35:26 which redeemed me from all evil. bless
00:35:29 the lads and let my name be named on
00:35:31 them and the name of my fathers Abraham
00:35:34 and Issach and let them grow into a
00:35:37 multitude in the midst of the earth. And
00:35:39 when Ysef saw that his father laid his
00:35:41 right hand upon the head of it
00:35:43 displeased him and he held up his
00:35:46 father’s hand to remove it from head
00:35:49 onto Manass’s head. And Yseph said unto
00:35:51 his father, “Not so, my father, for this
00:35:53 is the firstborn. Put thy right hand
00:35:56 upon his head.” And his father refused
00:36:02 and said, “I know it, my son. I know it.
00:36:04 He also shall become a people, and he
00:36:07 also shall be great. But truly his
00:36:09 younger brothers shall be greater than
00:36:12 he, and his seed shall become a
00:36:16 multitude of goyim.”
00:36:19 What? That says nations.
00:36:21 The Hebrew word is
00:36:23 Yeah, I know. Do you want me to go to
00:36:24 Bible Hub so we can saw it?
00:36:27 Yeah, let’s let’s uh let’s do that. Uh
00:36:29 verse 19.
00:36:32 4919.
00:36:32 4819.
00:36:38 Oh, yeah. I’m sorry.
00:36:58 right there.
00:37:03 There it is.
00:37:05 If we can make this a little bit larger.
00:37:08 Uh, yeah, I can. Sure.
00:37:09 I got to remember
00:37:11 so they can see that we’re not making it
00:37:12 up.
00:37:15 Wrong direction. That’s too small. Okay.
00:37:20 So, It is aim
00:37:21 Ephraim was to become the Gentiles.
00:37:28 So let’s go look here.
00:37:31 Nations, people, Gentiles.
00:37:37 Ephraim was to become the Gentiles.
00:37:38 And that happened when the northern
00:37:44 kingdom was taken by Assyria and the
00:37:46 people were transplanted into a
00:37:50 different part of the realm and then
00:37:51 scattered and separated.
00:37:54 Mhm.
00:37:56 And then they intermarried with the
00:38:03 Gentiles. And um so um and thus the and
00:38:07 thus proving that uh at thus showing
00:38:09 that at this point
00:38:13 um anybody who’s trying to point to any
00:38:18 one um ethnic characteristic as a proof
00:38:23 of Israel doesn’t know their scriptures.
00:38:25 Mhm.
00:38:26 Yeah.
00:38:29 Okay.
00:38:30 So he will become a multitude of go
00:38:38 and as he blessed them that day saying
00:38:40 and he blessed them that day saying in
00:38:44 thee shall Israel bless saying God make
00:38:47 thee as Ephraim and Manasse. And he set
00:38:51 Ephraim before Manasse. And Israel said
00:38:54 unto Joseph, unto Ysef, “Behold, I die,
00:38:57 but Elohim shall be with you and bring
00:38:59 you again into the onto the land of your
00:39:02 fathers. Moreover, I have given
00:39:07 Oh, I I just want to say this. Um,
00:39:10 Jose, this is talking about Joseph doing
00:39:12 it,
00:39:17 which uh people, the first exodus was
00:39:20 Moses, Levi.
00:39:22 This is talking about the second or
00:39:25 greater Exodus and this is going to be
00:39:27 done by the mighty and strong one. Now,
00:39:30 it is true that Moses uh that Moses Levi
00:39:34 carried up the bones of Joseph and that
00:39:37 uh the person who led the Israelites
00:39:42 into the land of Canaan was of the tribe
00:39:45 of Ephraim.
00:39:47 Joshua, the son of Non.
00:39:49 Yep.
00:39:51 Yeah. But I I
00:39:56 But Moshe led throughout the Exodus.
00:40:00 Yeah. Yeah, the first Exodus. But I I I
00:40:03 Yeah, so there is the two fulfillments
00:40:05 of this going on. So
00:40:07 yeah,
00:40:08 moreover, I have given unto thee one
00:40:11 portion above thy brethren, which I took
00:40:14 out of the hand of the Amorite, which I
00:40:16 took out of the Amorite with my sword
00:40:20 and with my bow.
00:40:21 So okay. So those are the those are the
00:40:28 blessings upon Ephraim and Manasse. All
00:40:30 of many of these blessings as we’ve
00:40:32 already as we’ve shown here are upon
00:40:36 Ysef as well and in relation to the end
00:40:39 times. So, one thing, this phrase, one
00:40:42 portion above thy brethren, that sounds
00:40:43 weird, but this is bringing out how
00:40:47 Joseph got the double portion because he
00:40:50 was a firstborn son that didn’t do
00:40:53 something to make it past.
00:40:55 Yes.
00:40:57 Yeah. It didn’t bring shame to his
00:40:57 father.
00:41:00 Yeah. Yeah. So, um, we don’t need to get
00:41:04 into the details, but um, Joseph is a
00:41:06 firstborn son that didn’t bring some
00:41:08 shame, right? So, that’s why he’s
00:41:10 getting the double portion. The one
00:41:12 that’s the head.
00:41:16 So, this will ultimately uh, play out in
00:41:18 second coming stuff,
00:41:19 right,
00:41:21 will be in charge. Now Judah will be
00:41:25 right there next to him. But Joah also
00:41:28 has Judah also has a blessing involving
00:41:31 uh leadership and kingship.
00:41:32 He’s the oldest.
00:41:34 But that blessing
00:41:38 uh the blessing with regards to kingship
00:41:41 uh only lasts until Messiah.
00:41:45 Yeah. To Shiloh. But I mean he still has
00:41:47 other importance. But what I bring out
00:41:50 is Joseph is above him. So
00:41:51 yeah,
00:41:55 which I to now this is interesting this
00:41:57 this portion here in verse 22 that’s
00:42:00 where he gives the birthight I
00:42:03 because one portion above that is it’s a
00:42:05 weird way of saying it but that’s a
00:42:07 double portion
00:42:08 right
00:42:12 because one plus one is two so anyways
00:42:15 at least last time I checked
00:42:16 really Stephen
00:42:17 well it could be
00:42:19 well it’s been a while since I’ve taken
00:42:22 math. But
00:42:24 yeah, I mean, they do change a lot of
00:42:29 things. It’s cool. So, sorry.
00:42:30 Anyways,
00:42:33 and Jacob called on to Now, we’re going
00:42:35 into chapter 49. And then we’re going to
00:42:39 get into the general tribal blessings.
00:42:42 This is where he gives his sons
00:42:45 instruction about their um about their
00:42:50 descendancy down to the last day.
00:42:52 And Jacob called unto his sons and said,
00:42:55 “Gather yourselves together that I may
00:42:59 tell you what shall befall you in the
00:43:01 last days.”
00:43:03 Oh, wait a minute.
00:43:03 Oh, what? What?
00:43:06 He’s not talking He’s not talking about
00:43:10 any other time but the last days.
00:43:13 Well, that’s interesting.
00:43:14 Gather yourselves together and hear ye
00:43:19 sons of Jacob
00:43:22 and ye sons of Yakov and hearken unto
00:43:25 Israel your father.
00:43:30 Reuben, thou art my firstborn, my might
00:43:32 and the beginning of my strength, the
00:43:34 excellency of dignity and the excellency
00:43:38 of power. unstable as water, thou shalt
00:43:41 not excel, because thou wentest up to
00:43:44 thy father’s bed. Then defilest thou it,
00:43:47 he went up to my couch.
00:43:50 Uh, so
00:43:53 this is one that caused some shame,
00:43:55 right?
00:43:58 And basically he had sex with one of the
00:44:01 concubines. So
00:44:03 So I do think that it’s interesting that
00:44:07 he he’s he talks He in the beginning he
00:44:09 talks about the good things. The
00:44:10 beginning of my strength, the excellency
00:44:14 of dignity, the excellency of power,
00:44:16 very strong,
00:44:20 very strong character,
00:44:22 very strong individual,
00:44:24 but
00:44:28 he’s undisiplined.
00:44:28 He won’t follow the word.
00:44:33 He committed adultery.
00:44:35 No. Uh I I don’t know if he Well, I
00:44:38 guess yeah, cuz it
00:44:41 uh I don’t know if it’s adultery, but um
00:44:43 you you positing the idea that because
00:44:45 it was a concubine, it might have been
00:44:47 it might not be adultery. Just
00:44:50 Yeah. Um
00:44:52 that one’s
00:44:55 I I cuz they’re not married. Um
00:44:57 but I I I can see why you would say
00:45:01 that. Um I just I don’t know myself. So
00:45:03 it’s still sexual and You know, either
00:45:07 way it was uh sexual infidelity.
00:45:10 Now, an an interesting parallel is how
00:45:13 many times in the scriptures um adultery
00:45:15 and idolatry
00:45:18 are are connected together.
00:45:21 Uh yes. Um
00:45:24 that’s this is what I want to come to on
00:45:27 this. How many how many times adultery
00:45:32 and idolatry are are brought together um
00:45:36 symbolically in the scriptures. Um and
00:45:38 technically it’s not just symbolic
00:45:42 because when we worship other than ya
00:45:43 after we have entered in especially
00:45:45 after we’ve entered into covenant with
00:45:46 him.
00:45:47 Uh
00:45:50 yeah it’s idolatry or as in adultery
00:45:52 because we’re going against because
00:45:55 we’re his bride. Yeah,
00:45:57 we’ve gone after another husband. So,
00:46:02 and so yeah, so this is so this
00:46:05 what this so from that perspective, what
00:46:07 we can see here is that no matter what
00:46:11 your um what your good attributes are
00:46:13 that qualify you for leadership or what
00:46:15 have you,
00:46:18 when you go into idolatry
00:46:21 and fall into sin,
00:46:24 you will not excel.
00:46:25 Right. And that actually goes with
00:46:29 Deuteronomy 28:29 actually. So
00:46:31 yeah,
00:46:32 Simeon and Levi are brethren.
00:46:34 Instruments of cruelty are in their
00:46:36 habitations.
00:46:38 Oh my soul, come not thou unto their
00:46:42 secret unto their assembly. Mine honor
00:46:45 be not thou united. For in their anger
00:46:47 they slew a man, and in their self-will
00:46:50 they dig down a wall. Cursed be their
00:46:52 anger, for it was fierce, and their
00:46:54 wrath, for it was cruel. I will divide
00:46:57 them in Yakov, and scatter them in
00:47:00 Israel. So, it seems that Simeon and
00:47:02 Levi are the ones who lose their
00:47:07 inheritance to um Ephraim, their Simeon
00:47:10 being scattered with the rest of Israel
00:47:13 and Levi not having a land of
00:47:14 inheritance at all.
00:47:18 Yeah. Right. Um, and this just for
00:47:20 historical purposes, this goes along
00:47:23 with um,
00:47:26 oh, I forgotten Jacob’s daughter’s name.
00:47:27 Dina, Dina,
00:47:28 Dina,
00:47:30 Sheckchum, the city of Sheckchham.
00:47:32 Dina and Sheckchham when they got a
00:47:36 little too familiar with each other. Um,
00:47:40 it was not rape as people claim. She got
00:47:43 too familiar. The reason why Jacob
00:47:45 Israel didn’t do anything because it
00:47:48 wasn’t rape. Yeah. They they got too
00:47:51 familiar with each other.
00:47:57 And Simon and Levi in their rage
00:48:00 um
00:48:00 this murder people.
00:48:04 Verse six seems to indicate that they
00:48:08 entered into a secret combination.
00:48:11 to destroy the city of Sheckchum.
00:48:18 So maybe they just told each other and I
00:48:25 So I I I see what you’re saying.
00:48:27 Um,
00:48:29 I’d have to think about it more because
00:48:31 I I I don’t have everything they count
00:48:34 memorized though it is prophetic also of
00:48:37 Christianity and the Jews, but we won’t
00:48:38 get into that.
00:48:41 Yeah. But that but
00:48:43 in terms of seeing things in terms of
00:48:47 the last days, Christianity uh
00:48:49 Christianity and the Jews are heavily
00:48:51 involved in the secret combination that
00:48:51 is
00:48:55 Yeah. Well, um
00:48:57 bringing the antichrist into our world
00:49:02 and Jacob and Jacob maybe
00:49:06 uh sees inklings of that.
00:49:08 Well, okay. So, one thing on your idea,
00:49:13 come not into their secret. So, Abra,
00:49:16 I’m sorry. uh Israel saying he didn’t
00:49:19 want to do what their secret was uh
00:49:20 going into their assembly which they
00:49:24 went and murdered people. Um
00:49:28 here it just says one
00:49:30 uh and maybe that’s a translation issue
00:49:31 cuz I I just
00:49:33 it says in the chapter that they slew
00:49:35 every man in the city and took their w
00:49:38 took their took their wives and children
00:49:39 as slaves.
00:49:42 Yeah. So,
00:49:44 oh, I didn’t remember that part cuz
00:49:46 that’s actually goes against one of the
00:49:49 direct 10 divisions of Torah,
00:49:50 right?
00:49:52 Um,
00:49:54 so maybe they did covenant with each
00:49:56 other until it happened, right? As in
00:49:59 going with super combinations.
00:49:59 Yep.
00:50:01 Because that would also go along with
00:50:03 doing the murder and getting gain with
00:50:04 them because I didn’t remember them
00:50:05 taking slaves, but if they did, that
00:50:08 goes definitely goes with that.
00:50:09 Yep.
00:50:13 Yeah. Anyways. Okay.
00:50:16 So, um, verse seven,
00:50:18 cursed be there. Okay. Let’s go on to
00:50:21 Judah. Sorry, we we’ve delved long
00:50:23 enough into the darkness of Simeon and
00:50:24 Levi.
00:50:25 Yeah. Okay.
00:50:27 Uh,
00:50:29 Judah,
00:50:32 thou art he whom thy brethren shall
00:50:34 praise.
00:50:35 Uh now
00:50:38 even to this day, even to this day,
00:50:40 people praise the Jews.
00:50:42 Yeah. Yeah. Well, this is uh the
00:50:45 Pharisees or orthodox or as what they’re
00:50:50 known today, Orthodox Jews, right?
00:50:50 Um
00:50:52 everybody talks about how they keep the
00:50:55 law, how they do these things.
00:50:58 Yeah, they don’t. But they don’t subject
00:51:01 but but they are but regardless this is
00:51:04 this is shown out in full in full
00:51:07 fulfillment even to this day
00:51:10 uh that they are they are praised by
00:51:12 their brethren.
00:51:14 Thy hand shall be in the neck of thine
00:51:17 enemies. Thy father’s children shall bow
00:51:20 down before thee.
00:51:22 And that happened.
00:51:25 They did with David
00:51:27 and Solomon. And even with the
00:51:31 Pharisees, people looked to them to
00:51:32 understand, which they shouldn’t have.
00:51:35 But anyways,
00:51:37 um
00:51:38 this is And now here’s a really here’s
00:51:42 some really interesting imagery here.
00:51:45 Judah is a lion’s welp.
00:51:49 A lion’s welp is basically a lion’s cub.
00:51:51 [Music]
00:51:54 From the prey, my son, thou art gone up.
00:51:57 He stooped down. He couched as a lion
00:51:59 and as an old lion. Who shall rouse him
00:52:05 up? So this So this is
00:52:07 the image of the the image of the lion
00:52:10 of Judah
00:52:13 uh the destroyer.
00:52:13 We know it’s in the I
00:52:18 that I gathered that from this idea from
00:52:24 the prey. Thou art God. Um
00:52:24 who shall rouse him up? The scepter
00:52:28 shall not depart from Judah, nor a
00:52:31 lawgiver from between his feet until
00:52:34 Shiloh come. And I did some research
00:52:37 into this and um Stephen helped me with
00:52:39 it. And we have come and we have come to
00:52:41 the conclusion that Shiloh is Yeshua
00:52:45 that there is no other um definition.
00:52:50 Yeah. So, and this also um there could
00:52:52 be some question exactly when things
00:52:57 happened. Um I I I
00:53:02 think it’s a combination of the
00:53:03 the veil ripping at Yeshua’s death.
00:53:10 Yes. A and and as
00:53:12 going back and forth, I’m trying to work
00:53:16 out some of the fine details of this. It
00:53:21 was to the Pharisees, Judah, not Levi,
00:53:23 the Sadducees.
00:53:24 Yes.
00:53:28 Um, and so part of the reason I would
00:53:29 say it would does not include the
00:53:33 Levites is because the apostles
00:53:35 uh still went to the temple for
00:53:40 sacrifices. I do believe what shows
00:53:43 it was not against the Sadducees Levites
00:53:45 that it was against. It was against the
00:53:49 Pharisees, the Jew Judas,
00:53:54 um, who were in charge civily and
00:53:56 religiously, right?
00:53:57 They were the dominant,
00:54:01 but not not templewise.
00:54:03 But they were still the dominant faction
00:54:05 in the government at that point.
00:54:09 Yes. And I also think
00:54:13 it more finalized
00:54:16 at the destruction of the second temple.
00:54:18 Yes.
00:54:20 Um so
00:54:24 uh which is actually both of those
00:54:28 events are actually part of Daniel 9. Um
00:54:32 which is completely done despite what
00:54:35 some people may claim. But anyways,
00:54:37 well, and here the other thing about
00:54:40 this until Shiloh comes. Shiloh came of
00:54:42 the house of Judah,
00:54:44 and in him was the throne of Judah
00:54:46 fulfilled.
00:54:48 Yeah. And um
00:54:52 unto him, unto Shiloh shall the
00:54:54 gathering of the people be.
00:54:57 Yeah. unto Yeshua,
00:55:00 which means that the gathering of the
00:55:03 people is no longer in the cultural is
00:55:06 not in the cultural identity of Israel,
00:55:10 but it is in the allegiance to Yah
00:55:12 Yeshua.
00:55:13 That is the gathering of the people.
00:55:16 That is the calledout assembly.
00:55:18 Right. Right. And this shall is
00:55:21 italized. That is someone in a
00:55:22 translator making sense because it’s
00:55:25 always been under Shiloh or Yeshua.
00:55:26 Mhm.
00:55:28 Um or should have always should have
00:55:30 been maybe that’s the way to put it.
00:55:32 There is a I do agree with Ben. There’s
00:55:33 a lot of people do culture
00:55:36 at the time of Yeshua. It was considered
00:55:38 that it was considered that you had to
00:55:42 go through um
00:55:46 ritual uh assuming of the identity of
00:55:49 Judah in order to receive the blessings
00:55:54 of Yahov or of the people,
00:55:58 right? Um yeah.
00:56:01 And that that’s not scriptural though.
00:56:01 So
00:56:03 yeah, it’s not scriptural, but it it’s
00:56:07 not scriptural, but this but and that’s
00:56:08 what I’m trying to show here is that
00:56:10 it’s not scriptural.
00:56:11 Right. Right.
00:56:15 It was it was and
00:56:18 it it was and that was the uh that was
00:56:21 the error of the Judaizers is that they
00:56:24 were still insisting that the Gentiles
00:56:29 had to um go through this um ritual
00:56:32 conversion process
00:56:33 to receive
00:56:35 which some of that is circumcision which
00:56:38 goes along with the Levi and Simeon
00:56:39 issue,
00:56:40 right?
00:56:43 um which is prophetic.
00:56:47 Um just look at the both the the past
00:56:49 and well both past because they’re both
00:56:55 past now. It’s very prophetic. Um
00:56:55 but they’re going against scripture
00:57:00 period that and also I do want to bring
00:57:03 out how this shallize
00:57:05 and unto
00:57:07 him Shiloh the Messiah the gathering of
00:57:10 the people be. It’s it’s just that’s
00:57:12 just a blanket statement. Past, present,
00:57:13 and future.
00:57:18 The shall that the translators added
00:57:20 makes it future only. But that’s
00:57:23 Well, yeah. And that that actually does
00:57:25 change the that actually does change the
00:57:29 meaning and it does and it does
00:57:31 reinforce the Christian idea of a
00:57:33 changing God with changing
00:57:34 dispensations.
00:57:38 Yeah. And which goes off of we believe
00:57:41 the Bible as far as is translated
00:57:42 correctly,
00:57:45 right? And we know that the Bible is not
00:57:48 always the Bible is not you. There is no
00:57:52 translation of any work.
00:57:55 That is 100% correct.
00:57:57 You can’t do it. It can’t be done.
00:58:02 Well, okay. So I I would say
00:58:05 well even Joe said said the most correct
00:58:06 but
00:58:09 yeah so anyways
00:58:11 it there’s not the translation of the
00:58:15 Book of Mormon is not wrong but with the
00:58:17 double meanings it’s hard to translate
00:58:18 everything. Okay.
00:58:19 Right.
00:58:21 So maybe that’s a better way of putting
00:58:22 it but anyways.
00:58:25 Right. And so it but and so this is why
00:58:28 it is this is why it’s especially from
00:58:30 ancient languages it is next to
00:58:33 impossible in our modern vernacular to
00:58:36 get a perfect translation.
00:58:40 Yeah. And um I I I don’t know. I’m just
00:58:41 going to throw something out here. But
00:58:45 this young lion old lion I would wonder
00:58:47 if some points to first and second
00:58:48 coming.
00:58:52 I I I think so. The lion of Judah is
00:58:53 Yeshua.
00:58:57 Yes. Um, so,
00:59:02 uh, yeah. And also I I’ll I think we’re
00:59:04 done with those, but Shiloh is the
00:59:07 Messiah. There are even old writings
00:59:11 from the Jews before Yeshua that show
00:59:13 that
00:59:19 they knew it is after he came and they
00:59:20 wanted the second coming instead of the
00:59:21 first.
00:59:23 Yeah.
00:59:25 In the scriptures they could have
00:59:28 figured it out and I would say some did
00:59:31 but the majority did not and they wanted
00:59:33 to get rid of Rome. So they were more
00:59:35 focused on what they wanted than what
00:59:38 the scriptures said. But anyways,
00:59:41 and so the verses 11 and 12 are also
00:59:43 talking about the Messiah.
00:59:45 Binding his full unto the vine and his
00:59:47 asses unto the choice vine, he washed
00:59:50 his garments in wine and his clothes in
00:59:53 the blood of grapes. His eyes shut.
00:59:54 Yeah.
00:59:55 Well, I’m just gonna say that sure
01:00:00 sounds like the uh the atonement and
01:00:04 going to the atonement that asses cult.
01:00:05 Yep.
01:00:07 Um so anyways,
01:00:09 yeah, another reference to the uh cult
01:00:13 that he rode into Jerusalem.
01:00:14 And his eyes red with wine goes along
01:00:19 with uh Yeshua in Revelations and his
01:00:24 teeth white with milk. His plans
01:00:27 are the commandments/ Torah.
01:00:30 Yes.
01:00:34 So it says desires. So red with wine,
01:00:37 the eyes, his desires is the atonement.
01:00:39 And his plan is in the
01:00:43 desire is to bring is to make man at one
01:00:44 with God.
01:00:46 Yes.
01:00:46 Yeah.
01:00:49 And his and and his clothing, his
01:00:51 covering
01:00:54 is that blood of grapes, the atonement.
01:00:56 His covering is the atonement.
01:00:57 Yeah.
01:01:03 plans are his plans are Torah and
01:01:06 Torah command and Torah commandments.
01:01:09 The blood of grapes is wine.
01:01:10 Yep.
01:01:13 Um there was no grape juice. Sorry
01:01:16 people. That was only possible in modern
01:01:20 society with pasteurization
01:01:23 which was only possible after Joseph.
01:01:24 It’s around the time Joseph Smith’s
01:01:26 death is when it started. But anyways,
01:01:30 even wi even with the idea e even with
01:01:32 um
01:01:34 I mean some people have posited certain
01:01:36 ideas that there could have been grape
01:01:38 juice, but even that even
01:01:40 I I I don’t
01:01:43 I don’t believe it because the stuff to
01:01:45 make wine is in the air. That’s the
01:01:46 white stuff that’s on your grapes when
01:01:48 you go buy them from the grocery store.
01:01:50 Exactly. And and and that’s kind of
01:01:52 where I was kind of going with that is
01:01:55 even just uh the process of heating that
01:01:58 syrup up again would cause it to uh
01:01:59 ferment.
01:02:02 Yeah. And perhaps they could have kept
01:02:06 it at new wine instead of old wine for a
01:02:09 little bit, right? But it it new wine is
01:02:12 only for like a week to three or
01:02:14 something. But anyways, it
01:02:17 so there so so anyway. So what we see
01:02:20 here is the primary
01:02:22 primary blessing of Judah is that the
01:02:24 Messiah comes from his lions,
01:02:28 right? Which um I I would say it goes
01:02:32 off of the act of Judah saving Benjamin.
01:02:34 Yes.
01:02:36 Um
01:02:39 so anyways, that’s another discussion.
01:02:41 That’s another discussion for another
01:02:43 time. Zebulun.
01:02:44 I do want to say this just with this. A
01:02:47 lot of these blessings go off of the
01:02:50 character of these particular tribe
01:02:53 leaders.
01:02:53 It just does.
01:02:59 Yeah, absolutely. Uh
01:03:02 and especially especially when you think
01:03:05 about Levi as you go in looking at the
01:03:08 prophecies of um Malachi
01:03:10 with regards to what the Levites are
01:03:11 doing to the people, how they’re
01:03:13 grinding the face of the poor and
01:03:17 withholding the um withhold and stealing
01:03:19 and taking
01:03:21 the offerings that are meant for the
01:03:24 poor uh out of the storehouse.
01:03:26 Yeah. And giving it to themselves.
01:03:28 Yeah. that hasn’t repeated.
01:03:32 Levi is Levi was cruel.
01:03:34 Yeah. Um
01:03:37 and just like and just like him, the
01:03:42 Levites often practiced their duties in
01:03:43 cruelty.
01:03:45 Yeah. Um
01:03:47 and injustice.
01:03:50 Yeah.
01:03:50 So
01:03:53 So they they repented for a while with
01:03:55 Moses, but then they went right back.
01:03:57 Yeah. It wasn’t real repentance
01:03:59 apparently. So
01:04:01 at least at least not at least not
01:04:02 spanning at least not
01:04:05 at least not generationally, right?
01:04:07 Yeah. Not Yeah. Not generationally.
01:04:08 Anyway,
01:04:11 so it’s I mean it is interesting to see
01:04:15 how um
01:04:17 it is interesting to see how that
01:04:19 ancestry has played out in the way that
01:04:25 these peoples, these tribes have um
01:04:28 developed over the years.
01:04:32 So, and uh so let’s go down to verse 13
01:04:36 here. Now Zebulun shall dwell at the
01:04:38 haven of the sea
01:04:41 and he shall be for an haven of ships
01:04:45 and his border shall be onto his idon.
01:04:47 Can we go down see if there’s another
01:04:50 thing there on nope that’s it for
01:04:50 Zebulun.
01:04:54 So what this is saying is his border is
01:04:56 at the haven of the sea shall be for in
01:05:01 his border shall be onto Zidon. So he
01:05:03 will be rubbing shoulders.
01:05:07 So so his so those of Zebulun will be
01:05:11 found rubbing shoulders with the world.
01:05:14 Yeah. Uh sea goes along with people.
01:05:17 Yep.
01:05:17 And ships is traveling in uh on the
01:05:23 water or in the people, right?
01:05:24 Yep.
01:05:25 Um,
01:05:29 and Zidon was a
01:05:32 uh Phoenician city uh on the borders of
01:05:34 Israel.
01:05:37 Yeah. Which has significant
01:05:40 By the way, the Phoenicians worshiped
01:05:43 Ba.
01:05:47 That’s not good. Um, which is another
01:05:50 iteration of Satan. But
01:05:55 the the Phoenicians took
01:05:59 Milik or little king
01:06:04 uh or the Milikites uh to the new land.
01:06:04 So
01:06:05 yeah,
01:06:08 they were right there. So anyways,
01:06:13 so even even wicked people are used to
01:06:15 fulfill righteous purposes. Well, and
01:06:18 though they may have uh repented, at
01:06:22 least some of them, right? But yes, that
01:06:24 did bring the king over or the little
01:06:27 king, which is what Mulik means, right?
01:06:29 Yep.
01:06:32 Issachar is a strong ass couching down
01:06:35 between two burdens.
01:06:39 So they they carry so they carry a great
01:06:41 burden. They are
01:06:44 a surviile tribe.
01:06:47 Mhm. Uh, an ass or donkey is symbolic of
01:06:49 people. So,
01:06:52 yeah.
01:06:53 And he saw that rest was good in the
01:06:58 land that it was pleasant and bowed his
01:07:00 shoulder to bear and became a servant
01:07:03 onto tribute.
01:07:05 So they
01:07:09 So, so this tribe is aar becomes a
01:07:11 servant onto tribute.
01:07:15 Now, as we’re looking at the end times,
01:07:16 what does it mean to be a servant on a
01:07:19 tribute?
01:07:20 Uh, so tribute has a couple meanings.
01:07:25 I’m not sure what it is here.
01:07:27 Depends on who you’re It depends on who
01:07:29 you’re giving tribute to,
01:07:32 right? So, possibly he may be helping
01:07:35 with the temple, the third temple that’s
01:07:38 coming would be my educated guess from
01:07:39 this.
01:07:43 Yeah, that as good a
01:07:45 that’s that’s as good a good good a way
01:07:46 to go as any.
01:07:48 I I I don’t know. This is just kind of
01:07:49 off the cuff.
01:07:52 This we’re we are th this is
01:07:53 speculation.
01:07:56 Yeah, that that speculation. Uh not all
01:07:58 of this is like Shiloh. Shiloh’s not
01:08:00 Shiloh is not speculation, but here in
01:08:02 verse 15, we’re kind of speculating a
01:08:03 little. And that
01:08:06 it’s okay. It’s okay as long as you know
01:08:10 that we’re speculating and that you
01:08:12 you can take it or leave it.
01:08:15 Yeah. I I try to make it clear when I
01:08:17 know and when I’m
01:08:19 taking an educated guess. Right.
01:08:23 Yeah. So, here we have So, here we have
01:08:25 Dan.
01:08:27 Dan is one of those tribes that is
01:08:30 actually not mentioned
01:08:32 um
01:08:35 in uh
01:08:36 in Revelation.
01:08:41 But here we have Dan shall judge his
01:08:44 people as one of the tribes of Israel.
01:08:47 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an
01:08:49 adder in the path that biteth the
01:08:52 horse’s heels, so that his riders shall
01:08:54 fall backward. I have waited for thy
01:08:57 salvation.
01:09:04 So that’s that’s Dan’s blessing is that
01:09:12 he he shall judge the people.
01:09:13 His people.
01:09:15 His people. Yep.
01:09:18 So
01:09:20 in
01:09:24 and I I would take this as u their own
01:09:28 tribe and not Israel like everyone
01:09:30 because I think if it was everyone it’
01:09:32 be the people.
01:09:38 Yeah. Yeah. That’s true. Uh, and
01:09:39 so we have to check the text because I
01:09:47 I because I can see how that could be
01:09:49 a translator interpretation. In fact,
01:09:51 let’s maybe do that real quick.
01:09:53 Yeah, let’s take a look at that.
01:09:57 Well, that one’s 49.
01:09:57 49 16. 496 49 16. Yep.
01:10:05 Give me one second.
01:10:07 Great news.
01:10:24 Oh, just people. So, let’s see. So this
01:10:32 could be where
01:10:35 one two
01:10:37 let’s see
01:10:39 that’s these two. So we need to go find
01:10:42 out what this suffix is. Hold on. I
01:10:44 think you uh people are going to see how
01:10:48 I do stuff.
01:10:51 I think that’s not a bad thing.
01:10:55 Well, I’m not worried about it.
01:10:57 Anything. It’s good thing so they can
01:10:59 learn to do it themselves.
01:10:59 Yeah. Of
01:11:01 course, a lot of times when I post I
01:11:04 kind of explain stuff anyways. Um, okay.
01:11:06 So, I got to see what the suffix is.
01:11:09 Okay.
01:11:13 His. Okay. So, that is actually correct.
01:11:18 It is his right there. So, you can see
01:11:20 that with the suffix, right, which is
01:11:23 that one. So, it’s his and not the. So,
01:11:26 he’s judging his own people.
01:11:31 So, it seems that Dan is separated
01:11:34 and so he must judge his own people.
01:11:38 Uh, that would make sense.
01:11:41 Yeah,
01:11:45 because uh he’s not with the others.
01:11:50 So, that does make some sense. But
01:11:52 I do think, and correct me if I’m wrong,
01:11:56 he got um land inheritance though.
01:11:59 Yes, he did.
01:12:02 But he’s not in
01:12:10 Revelations. So
01:12:10 perhaps this is why, just thinking out
01:12:13 loud,
01:12:16 right? He
01:12:18 that list in Revelation is in relation
01:12:22 to the 144,000 which means uh what that
01:12:24 means what that would indicate is that
01:12:27 Dan is not yet gathered to in when the
01:12:30 144,000 are sent out.
01:12:34 Well, not necessarily. Um it just could
01:12:36 mean he’s not supposed to go out
01:12:41 judging, aka calling repentance to
01:12:42 others.
01:12:45 Yep. Yep.
01:12:46 Right.
01:12:50 Yeah, that that’s a possibility.
01:12:51 Now, we’d have to look at some of the
01:12:54 technicalities in Revelations, but that
01:12:57 um
01:12:59 that’s a possibility. We’d have to go
01:13:01 double check it, right, with Re
01:13:01 Revelation.
01:13:03 Oh, yeah. Absolutely.
01:13:04 Um
01:13:07 but that but there there you have Dan.
01:13:10 Uh he’s he will judge his people as one
01:13:13 of the tribes of Israel. All of this
01:13:16 seems to indicate that he is that Dan
01:13:20 will be separate
01:13:21 on some level.
01:13:23 Well, at some level. We’re not sure what
01:13:26 level, right?
01:13:29 Yeah.
01:13:30 Okay. So, here we go. Uh Gad, a troop
01:13:35 shall overcome him, but he shall
01:13:39 overcome at the last.
01:13:41 So that he falls and gets back up is
01:13:45 what I get right. He
01:13:48 falls and gets back up. Out of Asher his
01:13:51 bread shall be fat and he shall yield
01:13:54 royal dainties.
01:13:55 His commandments shall be fat.
01:14:00 Yeah. Um so fat is sin. So he he’s
01:14:06 following bad commandments.
01:14:08 Yep.
01:14:11 And I I’m not sure. I I mean I know how
01:14:15 modernly we may use dainties.
01:14:17 I I don’t know if that’s anciently
01:14:20 though. So yeah, he’s what that’s
01:14:22 talking about is
01:14:26 that his uh that he’s talking about like
01:14:29 sweets and what have you.
01:14:32 Okay. Um
01:14:36 Okay. So like a pastry. Um
01:14:38 well that would go with the bread fat
01:14:41 because fat does make things taste good
01:14:42 but
01:14:46 um bread is commandments as bringing up
01:14:49 and fat is symbolic of sin. Mhm.
01:14:51 It can be righteousness like the fatted
01:14:54 calf. But
01:14:57 and just like Jacob says, just like
01:14:59 Jacob says, let thy soul delight in
01:15:01 fatness, which he’s not talking about,
01:15:03 let your soul delight in sin.
01:15:05 Right. Right. So this is where the the
01:15:08 symbolism has opposites and we need to
01:15:11 look at the full context here with if
01:15:14 royal dainties are pastries as Ben’s
01:15:17 bringing out, it’s going to be sin.
01:15:19 Okay.
01:15:21 So
01:15:23 don’t listen to what he tries to get you
01:15:25 to do. Right.
01:15:28 Right.
01:15:28 And so here we go. Nefali is a hind let
01:15:36 loose. He giveth goodly words.
01:15:38 Well, giving goodly words is a two-edged
01:15:40 sword.
01:15:43 Sometimes the people you’re giving them
01:15:47 to don’t deserve them.
01:15:47 In other words, Nefali is a flatterer.
01:15:54 Yeah, because I um I because it could
01:15:56 just be trying to make just things that
01:15:59 sound good is kind of what I’m getting,
01:16:01 which would go along with the flattering
01:16:04 and goodly uh goodly is more like like
01:16:08 good. It ses back to that it sounds
01:16:13 good. What he what he says sounds good.
01:16:14 A flag. Well, I know other places Goodly
01:16:18 is not used like this. And this is where
01:16:21 we got to take context into account. So,
01:16:24 find me. What is a hind?
01:16:28 Um, let’s look that up.
01:16:29 Okay. So, I’m going to pause it for a
01:16:31 minute. So, I’m glad I’m not the only
01:16:33 one that doesn’t know.
01:16:35 Yeah, it’s
01:16:39 a hind is actually a female deer, but I
01:16:41 think that it’s still valuable to look
01:16:44 it up and see what um
01:16:46 Okay, I’ll stop sharing. Did you want to
01:16:48 share your screen?
01:16:50 Yeah,
01:16:54 I’ll go here.
01:17:02 Okay. And we’ll go here
01:17:07 and share.
01:17:14 Oh, bugger. Wrong screen.
01:17:19 Well, it shows you guys uh like looking
01:17:23 at scriptures.
01:17:25 Yeah. Well, then that’s a I suppose
01:17:27 that’s not a bad thing. That’s for sure.
01:17:31 So, here we are.
01:17:31 Okay. Hind. The female of the red deer
01:17:36 or stag.
01:17:40 Also, a domestic, a servant, a peasant,
01:17:46 a rustic, or a husbandman’s servant.
01:17:49 So,
01:17:53 maybe
01:17:55 let’s go back. Um, so maybe give me a
01:17:58 second. back to the scriptures here.
01:17:59 No.
01:18:01 Uh, let’s go back to uh
01:18:03 Well, no, just stop. I I have it,
01:18:04 remember?
01:18:05 Oh, yeah. Yeah,
01:18:07 you can do it. There’s no GST. So, you
01:18:09 go Genesis
01:18:10 49.
01:18:12 Genesis 49.
01:18:14 Chapter.
01:18:16 And here we are.
01:18:16 Bad have it.
01:18:20 So, let’s go back to here.
01:18:22 Okay.
01:18:27 Nalia is a hind let loose.
01:18:28 So,
01:18:30 so a servant discharged.
01:18:35 Yeah. Yeah. Uh because he’s flattering,
01:18:36 which is a bad thing. That That makes
01:18:39 sense.
01:18:41 He’s just
01:18:47 Or another way in today’s uh vernacular
01:18:51 it could be he’s a asskisser, right?
01:18:54 Yep. Basically, he’s like he is a
01:18:56 minion.
01:18:58 Yeah.
01:18:59 Uh
01:19:02 so now we go to now we go into the other
01:19:05 blessings of Joseph. Joseph is a
01:19:07 fruitful bow. Even a fruitful bow by a
01:19:13 well whose branches run over the wall.
01:19:15 This is a prophecy concerning
01:19:18 Lehi.
01:19:21 Yes. Uh which is of Manasseh that went
01:19:24 It’s also a prophecy of the It’s also a
01:19:26 prophecy of how Manasseh it it also
01:19:29 applies to Manasseh’s desiring to also
01:19:32 take up land on the west side of the
01:19:36 east side of Jordan. Yes, it as in both
01:19:39 there. I will also say I do believe this
01:19:43 goes with Ephraim also because uh Joseph
01:19:47 is both the Gentiles.
01:19:51 Yeah. because they got pushed out and
01:19:51 then
01:19:55 yes um so I I do believe it’s both
01:19:57 though. Okay.
01:19:59 The archers have sorely grieved him and
01:20:02 shot at him and hated him. Northern
01:20:05 kingdom is destroyed.
01:20:09 But his bow his bow abode in strength
01:20:11 and the arms of and his arms and the
01:20:13 arms of his hands were made strong by
01:20:17 the hands of the mighty Elohim of Yho.
01:20:20 From then is the shepherd, the stone of
01:20:22 Israel. From then fence is the shepherd.
01:20:25 This is a direct, this is a prophecy of
01:20:26 the mighty and strong one.
01:20:28 Yeah, I was about to say that. Including
01:20:30 the bow and the arm.
01:20:31 Yep.
01:20:34 From then the strength. Um, this goes
01:20:35 along with the mighty and strong one.
01:20:36 Yes.
01:20:38 Even by the God of thy father, even by
01:20:40 the Elohim of thy father, who shall help
01:20:42 thee, and by the Almighty, who shall
01:20:44 bless thee with blessings of heaven
01:20:46 above, blessings of the deep that lith
01:20:48 under, blessings of the breasts of the
01:20:52 womb. The blessings of my father of thy
01:20:53 father have prevailed above the
01:20:57 blessings of my progenitors,
01:20:58 unto the utmost bound of the everlasting
01:21:03 hills.
01:21:03 Mhm. They shall
01:21:06 they shall be on the head of Joseph on
01:21:09 the crown of the head of him who was
01:21:12 separate from his brethren. So the head
01:21:14 of Joseph is Ephraim.
01:21:15 Mhm.
01:21:19 As in as we just looked at in 48, even
01:21:21 though he was not the firstborn, he is
01:21:23 the one that got the firstborn blessing,
01:21:26 which makes him the head of Joseph.
01:21:29 [Music]
01:21:30 And now, so there so there we go. This
01:21:35 is this is
01:21:38 this prophecy is this prophecy is
01:21:41 literally pointing that the preparer for
01:21:44 the second coming of the Messiah is of
01:21:49 Yoseph. And so therefore we have further
01:21:52 um even from the King James version
01:21:56 further uh
01:21:58 confirmation
01:22:00 of the restoration that occurred to
01:22:03 Genesis 50.
01:22:07 Correct? because it’s uh it’s
01:22:13 the new translation in 50 is expounding
01:22:17 this part right here. Right. So,
01:22:18 exactly.
01:22:19 Yeah.
01:22:22 So, verse 27, Benjamin shall raven as a
01:22:24 wolf. In the morning, he shall devour
01:22:26 the prey. At night, he shall divide the
01:22:28 spoil.
01:22:29 Benjamin
01:22:32 always led
01:22:36 Israel into trouble.
01:22:37 Yeah. And
01:22:39 which date which Benjamin profited from
01:22:42 much of the time.
01:22:47 Yes. Um and um
01:22:51 Paul or Saul was of Benjamin and he
01:22:55 loved those false teachings that uh the
01:22:57 Pharisees adopted. It came th those
01:23:00 false teachings originated from
01:23:02 Benjamin.
01:23:03 Mhm.
01:23:05 Um
01:23:08 but yes
01:23:11 um and a wolf
01:23:13 Yeah. a wolf is a destroyer.
01:23:15 Right. Right. But I’m just saying it’s a
01:23:19 little more sneaky than like a lion.
01:23:23 Uh yeah, there’s wolves employ
01:23:25 more strategy in their attack. Yeah,
01:23:26 that’s probably a better way of saying
01:23:29 it. They do more strategy. Um might be a
01:23:32 better way of saying it. Um
01:23:38 uh and just like uh just like when
01:23:39 um
01:23:42 just like when the Pharisees rejected
01:23:44 Yeshua as the Messiah
01:23:48 and they had it was um it was the
01:23:51 scribes of it was the scribes and
01:23:54 Pharisees of Benjamin
01:23:58 that helped them to uh come up with the
01:24:01 reinterpretations of script. scriptures
01:24:04 that allowed them to justify it.
01:24:05 Yeah.
01:24:08 Uh as in strategy there as Ben was
01:24:11 bringing out with the wolf. Right. So
01:24:15 there there’s the Benjamin
01:24:18 represents while while Joseph represents
01:24:22 all the things that Jacob loved about
01:24:25 Rachel.
01:24:26 Benjamin is the dark side of that coin.
01:24:36 Um, so I can see that. Now, Joseph did
01:24:38 get some I mean, Ephraim did get some
01:24:40 bad from their mother.
01:24:41 Yeah.
01:24:44 Maybe not as much not as much as
01:24:47 Benjamin did, which is ironic because
01:24:52 she died giving Benjamin, but uh
01:24:54 anyways,
01:24:56 and so it’s really it’s really kind of
01:24:58 an interesting really kind of an
01:25:00 interesting conundrum. And so and it’s
01:25:02 really interesting to watch as these
01:25:05 blessings have played out over history
01:25:09 um and uh down even to this latest day.
01:25:13 Uh the uh the lies of uh rabbitic
01:25:15 Judaism
01:25:20 uh can continue to keep
01:25:23 the Jewish people
01:25:27 from accepting their Messiah.
01:25:28 which is hat. Um because there are
01:25:35 good Jews out there.
01:25:36 Yeah.
01:25:38 Um they’re just they’re listening to the
01:25:40 wrong people.
01:25:41 Mhm.
01:25:42 So
01:25:44 just like there’s just like there’s
01:25:47 good
01:25:48 regardless of what we’ve said concerning
01:25:50 the general blessings, there are good
01:25:51 Benjamites.
01:25:53 Oh yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
01:25:58 Saul. And so th this is more of a
01:26:02 overall general what the tribe the
01:26:04 people of the tribes follow. Not
01:26:07 th this is a general prophecy concerning
01:26:11 how their how the uh personalities of
01:26:15 the founders of the tribes will play out
01:26:18 throughout the generations.
01:26:20 Correct? So this is just generalities,
01:26:24 not specific to every single person.
01:26:26 There there’s good people of every
01:26:27 tribe.
01:26:29 Yeah.
01:26:30 So
01:26:32 just if you happen to be of the tribe of
01:26:35 Nali, it doesn’t mean you have to be a
01:26:38 minion.
01:26:38 Well, maybe you want to be because
01:26:42 there’s a fun show on them, but
01:26:43 yeah.
01:26:45 No, that’s not of Natafi. That’s
01:26:48 actually the Masons and the Jesuits. But
01:26:49 anyways,
01:26:52 but yeah, so these are so this is the
01:26:55 this is the blessing.
01:26:57 This is the
01:26:59 Do we want to finish uh 28?
01:27:01 We’ll go ahead. We’ll we’ll go ahead and
01:27:05 finish this up with um
01:27:07 with 28-33.
01:27:11 All these are the 12 tribes of Israel.
01:27:13 And this is it that their father spake
01:27:15 unto them and blessed them. everyone
01:27:16 according to his blessing. He blessed
01:27:20 them and he charged them. He said unto
01:27:23 them, I am to be gathered unto my
01:27:24 people.
01:27:26 Bury me with my fathers. And in the cave
01:27:28 that is in the field of Ephran the
01:27:31 Hitittite,
01:27:34 and in a cave that is in the field of
01:27:36 Mali, Mella,
01:27:39 which is before Mamre, in the land of
01:27:42 Cananan, which Abraham bought with the
01:27:44 field of bought with the field of
01:27:47 Ephrron, the Hitittite, for a possession
01:27:49 of a burying place. There they buried
01:27:52 Abraham and Sarah, his wife. There they
01:27:56 ba buried Isaac and Rebecca, his wife.
01:27:58 And there I buried Leah.
01:28:04 So, uh, Israel’s going to be with who?
01:28:07 Leah.
01:28:09 Yeah.
01:28:12 With Leah.
01:28:15 And I love that because
01:28:22 in the end, she finally got her husband.
01:28:23 Yeah.
01:28:25 Uh,
01:28:28 Israel is not going to be with Rachel or
01:28:29 any of the concubines. He’s only going
01:28:33 to be with Leia.
01:28:36 The purchase of the field and of the
01:28:39 cave that is therein was from the
01:28:42 children of Heth. And when Yakov had
01:28:45 made an end of commanding his sons, he
01:28:48 gathered up his feet into the bed and
01:28:50 yielded up the ghost.
01:28:53 or I think a better translation would be
01:28:54 soul. But
01:28:56 yeah, yielded up his soul. And yielded
01:28:59 up a soul.
01:29:03 And this is the thing
01:29:06 now. It doesn’t necessarily mean that he
01:29:12 that that happened right away,
01:29:13 but
01:29:15 there are people
01:29:17 who’ve known when they were going to
01:29:18 die.
01:29:22 Yeah. Yeah. Um
01:29:22 and um I do believe that Yakov knew his
01:29:31 time had come
01:29:31 and he called his sons in and under the
01:29:37 power of the spirit and under the power
01:29:40 of the Torah
01:29:40 saw them
01:29:45 to the end of time.
01:29:47 Yeah.
01:29:51 Just like uh Adam gave prophecies to the
01:29:54 end of time also.
01:29:56 Yep.
01:29:59 And then having fulfilled his final
01:30:01 commission
01:30:06 y he he gives up he is he he simply
01:30:10 yields up the ghost which is the same
01:30:12 words that is said of Yeshua at the
01:30:14 cross.
01:30:18 Mhm. He yields up the soul. He gave it
01:30:23 up. He was done. It is finished.
01:30:25 I go to my father’s.
01:30:27 Yeah.
01:30:30 Uh by the time Israel died, he was
01:30:32 sanctified.
01:30:34 He didn’t start that way as we read
01:30:36 through the history, but he
01:30:37 It’s really It’s really interesting. He
01:30:40 yielded up his ghost and was gathered
01:30:43 unto his people.
01:30:46 So, if you’re thinking this are um
01:30:48 people that are alive, that sounds
01:30:51 funny. If you’re thinking it’s they’re
01:30:53 sanctified, it makes sense.
01:30:55 Yep.
01:30:59 And I would say it’s the latter person.
01:31:00 So, so these are the so those are the
01:31:10 blessings. So, as you um as you
01:31:12 So these blessings are actually they
01:31:17 actually pl they actually play out
01:31:21 mostly on a general level. But there are
01:31:24 some that are of such significance that
01:31:27 they impact everyone.
01:31:28 The birth of the Messiah through the
01:31:30 loins of Judah and the birth of the
01:31:32 mighty and strong one through the loins
01:31:36 of Joseph are the are some are two of
01:31:39 those that will generally impact the
01:31:43 entire world. Mhm.
01:31:48 Uh and uh
01:31:48 while the Messiah came as a lamb
01:31:57 at the meridian of time, at the end
01:32:00 the mighty and strong one will lead off
01:32:02 as a lion and the Messiah will the
01:32:04 Messiah will come in behind him as a
01:32:05 lion.
01:32:09 Yep. Uh, and then after
01:32:11 he’s come as a lion, he’ll be a lion and
01:32:13 a lamb.
01:32:14 Mhm.
01:32:17 But he will come in as a lion.
01:32:18 Yes.
01:32:19 To the world. So
01:32:24 there is much because the world
01:32:27 is in much need of judgment and
01:32:30 cleansing.
01:32:33 Yes. Now, um, a lot of people will
01:32:35 complain what’s going on, but they don’t
01:32:38 want to go to the point where
01:32:40 they really want people to go back to
01:32:43 Yahweh’s ways to fix it. Um, because
01:32:45 that means they would have to give up
01:32:48 things they don’t want to. Um,
01:32:50 it’s a Yeah, it’s a catch. It’s one of
01:32:51 those vicious catch 22.
01:32:54 Yeah, I I I I
01:32:56 am working on giving things up. Uh, some
01:32:58 things take longer than others, right?
01:33:00 Um
01:33:03 um sometimes, for example, it even
01:33:06 happened today, I I sometimes I have a
01:33:10 tendency to focus more on
01:33:14 the points than the people. Um I need to
01:33:16 get better at that. But anyways, but
01:33:19 what I would what I would suggest with
01:33:23 regards to all of this,
01:33:24 give yourself to YA today.
01:33:29 Yes.
01:33:31 Live your life
01:33:38 such that you can be gathered onto
01:33:41 his people.
01:33:44 [Music]
01:33:46 And if you live your life such that you
01:33:50 could be gathered to his people,
01:33:53 you will be
01:34:01 For his people will not be left
01:34:07 to be destroyed.
01:34:11 His people are not elected for wrath.
01:34:21 The meek shall inherit the earth.
01:34:27 The meek
01:34:31 are those who wait upon the Lord
01:34:31 like Joseph did
01:34:36 like Abraham did.
01:34:42 Like Jacob did.
01:34:48 You want to see a list of people who
01:34:54 waited on the Lord? Read Hebrews 11.
01:34:56 So, that’s not going to be all of them,
01:34:58 but
01:35:01 it’s not comprehensive, but it’s a good
01:35:03 Yeah. Yeah. It’s a good list in the
01:35:06 Hebrew tradition because there were uh
01:35:08 prophets outside of that.
01:35:09 Yeah.
01:35:10 Yeah.
01:35:12 Yeah. But it’s a good list from the Old
01:35:14 World tradition. Read Hebrews 11. That’s
01:35:18 a I call it the hall of faith. Um
01:35:19 yeah.
01:35:23 And so it’s uh
01:35:25 and yes, there are people from the Book
01:35:27 of Mormon who could very well be in
01:35:29 there, but heck, I don’t think Saul knew
01:35:30 about them.
01:35:33 Oh, he didn’t. But also, my main point
01:35:36 is the what I was bringing up. There are
01:35:39 people outside the line of Abraham,
01:35:42 Isaac, and Jacob that were coming to Y.
01:35:44 Yes. Yes. Uh, and you can read about
01:35:46 some of them in Doctrine of Covenant
01:35:49 section 84.
01:35:50 Okay. They held the priesthood.
01:35:56 Oh, yeah. That one. Yeah. Um,
01:35:59 so
01:36:02 if I’m remembering correctly though, I
01:36:03 do think that was through Abraham
01:36:07 though, through his second wife.
01:36:10 Um
01:36:12 or maybe not all of them, maybe some of
01:36:16 them.
01:36:17 Um
01:36:19 take a look.
01:36:23 Um Jethro was through.
01:36:27 Yeah, Jeffro was not all the others.
01:36:29 So maybe not all the others, but
01:36:32 So let’s just take a quick look. See?
01:36:35 Well, how about do it on the computer?
01:36:39 Yeah. No, that would make sense.
01:36:40 That would make sense.
01:36:42 Well, yeah, we want to make dollars, not
01:36:46 cents. So,
01:36:48 so,
01:36:52 so I know Jethro is through Abraham and
01:36:54 I
01:36:56 the sons of Moses according to the holy
01:36:57 priesthood which he received under the
01:36:59 hand of his father-in-law, Jethro.
01:37:00 Jethro received it under the hand of
01:37:04 Caleb. Jethro did not receive it from
01:37:06 Abraham. receive.
01:37:08 No, Abraham was dead by the time Jethro
01:37:09 got it.
01:37:11 Oh, yeah. Yeah. Sorry.
01:37:15 So, but we don’t know Caleb’s um
01:37:16 lineage,
01:37:19 right? Jethro received it under the We
01:37:20 don’t know his lineage. And that is
01:37:22 there is that Jethro received it under
01:37:24 the hand of Caleb. Caleb received it
01:37:27 under the hand of El of Elihu. And Elihu
01:37:28 under the hand of
01:37:30 Oh, here we go though. Here’s one that
01:37:32 But you’re right. Elias
01:37:39 on 12 and 13 does show that’s not so not
01:37:42 everybody in the uh priesthood line is
01:37:45 of Abraham because Eli Elias
01:37:47 is a contemporary of Abraham.
01:37:49 Yeah. So he’s not of his line. So you’re
01:37:52 right. Forgot about that part.
01:37:55 So yeah. So and so like I said some of
01:37:58 these people um probably weren’t
01:38:00 descendants of Abraham.
01:38:03 Correct. At least one wasn’t for sure.
01:38:04 Yeah.
01:38:06 Uh and possibly others.
01:38:11 Right. So is there um and so in 84 you
01:38:13 can read about you can read about the
01:38:16 fact that the priesthood that the
01:38:18 priesthood and God’s dealings were not
01:38:21 limited to uh just Abraham literally
01:38:23 just Abraham and his sons. The blessing
01:38:26 of Abraham, the the primary blessing of
01:38:28 Abraham is that Messiah comes through
01:38:31 him through his uh through his loins by
01:38:33 which the whole earth is blessed.
01:38:36 Right? And another one from numbers
01:38:37 something.
01:38:43 Balam was not of Abraham either. And he
01:38:45 was a prophet for a uh a holy prophet
01:38:49 for a time, but then he fell cuz he
01:38:51 then and then after and then after the
01:38:53 Jews were done with u then after the
01:38:55 Jews were done with the Amalocites, he
01:39:00 became a holy prophet full of holes.
01:39:01 Uh
01:39:05 yeah, I would just say he was a fallen
01:39:07 prophet, but I just
01:39:10 well more and and to that I will add in
01:39:12 more ways than one.
01:39:17 [Laughter]
01:39:18 Yeah. Yeah, that’s true.
01:39:24 Hey, we got to have some fun, right?
01:39:29 Exactly. So, I hope you’ve enjoyed this
01:39:32 teaching on the blessings of uh Yakov to
01:39:36 his sons.
01:39:37 He’s able to do this on his deathbed.
01:39:42 because of his relationship forged with
01:39:47 Yao through obedience to Torah.
01:39:49 Yeah.
01:39:52 Um uh one thing I have noticed though
01:39:54 which he had to learn to obey.
01:39:56 Yes, he did learn it. He went through a
01:39:59 process. So not everything he did was
01:40:02 according to Yah’s ways. Um
01:40:05 not everything that he did is
01:40:06 prescriptive.
01:40:09 Some of it is simply descriptive
01:40:14 as in just describing what he did. U
01:40:18 but he did overcome. So
01:40:21 he wrestled with God and man and
01:40:24 overcame receiving the name Israel.
01:40:27 Yeah.
01:40:29 Um
01:40:33 Yes. And may may each one of us uh may
01:40:38 each one of us become Israel as we
01:40:40 repent of our sins,
01:40:44 come on to Torah,
