00:00:02 hello brothers and sisters this here is
00:00:04 Zion is Torah joining me is eternal is
00:00:08 Torah uh I made that mistake in the last
00:00:11 video gotten our color names mixed up
00:00:14 but we’re so glad to be with you today
00:00:17 because today we’re going to be covering
00:00:18 a very very important subject yes I
00:00:21 realize that the main title is the same
00:00:24 but that’s what the series is about this
00:00:27 is part one of character and ATT
00:00:30 rutes um and this to go along with his
00:00:36 character
00:00:38 is when God reveals himself to his
00:00:41 children and to his
00:00:44 people
00:00:47 um
00:00:50 then they uh he always has a way that he
00:00:54 does things he does things in a certain
00:00:56 way um
00:01:00 and so without further
00:01:03 Ado let us go ahead
00:01:06 and
00:01:07 search how he reveals himself in each
00:01:12 dispensation but we’re going to focus on
00:01:14 one story there’s multiple
00:01:18 stories um in the Old Testament I
00:01:21 encourage you to read about them Abraham
00:01:23 when he first
00:01:25 receives um yeah when Abraham first
00:01:28 receives the Covenant uh
00:01:30 [Music]
00:01:31 um the this pattern is followed with him
00:01:35 when Adam uh receives when Adam receives
00:01:39 the Covenant uh as we find out in Joseph
00:01:43 Smith translation of
00:01:45 Genesis that um this same pattern is
00:01:48 followed in terms of how God Reveals His
00:01:52 nature and his character um and they
00:01:56 first revealed it uh first revealed it
00:01:59 to Adam uh through Commandments and then
00:02:02 Adam was and as Adam kept the
00:02:05 Commandments he was introduced to this
00:02:08 aspect to to God’s to God’s n
00:02:11 reintroduce to God’s nature and
00:02:14 attributes um and this is the pattern
00:02:16 that was followed and so the thing is
00:02:20 the thing that you have to bear in mind
00:02:22 is that what this rep what this
00:02:24 represents um is the unchanging nature
00:02:27 of God is that he does
00:02:31 things a certain way uh because it’s the
00:02:35 best way for us to be able to learn and
00:02:38 grow and come closer to him so let us
00:02:43 without further Ado let’s go
00:02:45 forward
00:02:47 so as a kind of a refresher as kind of a
00:02:50 refresher from um the first video These
00:02:55 are several of the attributes of Y
00:02:58 Elohim and that is and he and yah pass
00:03:04 says these things as he is passing
00:03:06 before Moses who has
00:03:10 um taken has who has taken
00:03:13 responsibility for the sins of
00:03:15 Israel and uh this is what uh this is
00:03:20 what ywa says to him and ywa passed
00:03:23 before him and proclaimed yah y Elohim
00:03:28 merciful and gracious longsuffering and
00:03:31 abundant in goodness and Truth keeping
00:03:34 Mercy for thousands forgiving iniquity
00:03:36 and transgression and sin then that
00:03:39 there will and that will by no means
00:03:42 clear the guilty visiting the iniquity
00:03:44 of the fathers upon the children upon
00:03:46 the children’s children under the third
00:03:47 and fourth
00:03:48 generation so merciful and gracious
00:03:52 long-suffering abundant and goodness and
00:03:54 Truth
00:03:56 um he’s slow to
00:03:58 anger he’s merciful he’s
00:04:01 gracious um he gives a lot of chances
00:04:04 before he throw before he throws before
00:04:08 he throws the people
00:04:10 out
00:04:12 um so he’s uh but at the same
00:04:19 time those who do not repent of their
00:04:21 iniquities pass them onto their children
00:04:23 and onto their children’s children and
00:04:26 so there we have and
00:04:28 so and those who do not repent of
00:04:32 iniquity are referred to later on in the
00:04:35 Psalms as those who work iniquity and
00:04:38 therefore they uh and
00:04:41 therefore
00:04:43 um that which God hates is visited upon
00:04:47 them and their children and their
00:04:48 children’s children
00:04:50 yeah so and so uh to highlight another
00:04:57 unchanging aspect of God we will be
00:05:00 discussing how God works at first in the
00:05:05 very very first instant when
00:05:08 he decides that he is going to either
00:05:11 save his people or redeem his people or
00:05:16 have his people separated he first goes
00:05:20 to a
00:05:22 servant and this is the story
00:05:26 of Yahweh calling
00:05:30 Moses and so this is a very very
00:05:33 important part of a pattern of the of
00:05:37 the cycle of a cycle um the Redemption
00:05:42 or the pattern of redemption uh for
00:05:44 God’s people and so we’ll start off in
00:05:47 Exodus chapter 3 verse one all right but
00:05:51 before I start reading I just I would
00:05:53 like to I would also like to point out
00:05:55 that never has God’s people needed more
00:05:57 resc needed rescuing more now now more
00:06:01 than now and never have they seen the
00:06:04 and never have they failed to see their
00:06:06 need for rescue more than now yeah
00:06:11 so now Moses kept the flock of Jethro’s
00:06:14 father-in-law the priest of Midian and
00:06:16 he led the flock to the backside of the
00:06:18 desert and came to the Mountain of God
00:06:20 even to
00:06:21 HB and the a by the way horb Sinai same
00:06:27 thing and the angel of y appeared to him
00:06:31 in a flame the angel of Y is y yeah uh
00:06:36 the angel of Y appeared unto him in a
00:06:39 flame of fire out of the midst of a bush
00:06:41 and he looked and behold the bush burned
00:06:43 with fire and the Bush was not consumed
00:06:46 and Moshe said I will turn aside and see
00:06:50 this great sight why the bush is not
00:06:52 burnt and when yah saw that he turned
00:06:55 aside to
00:06:56 see Elohim called unto him
00:07:00 out of the midst of the Bush and said
00:07:03 Moshe Moshe and he said here am I so
00:07:10 before we go before we go a lot further
00:07:12 here we have just want
00:07:15 to you might have noticed that I am
00:07:18 replacing certain words in the script
00:07:21 with um their Hebrew
00:07:24 names first off
00:07:29 when
00:07:31 um when he when
00:07:37 uh when these scriptures were written
00:07:40 they were written under the influence of
00:07:43 a doctrine that is false called the
00:07:46 ineffable name Doctrine I we not to say
00:07:49 the name of yah and so when we have um
00:07:54 when when you see the word the Lord it
00:07:57 is there rep it is there
00:08:00 representing the Hebrew Adonai which is
00:08:02 a replacement word for the name of Y
00:08:07 which is not which we are supposed to
00:08:11 mention as we will uh go through later
00:08:14 on in the
00:08:15 chapter um secondly um so the Hebrew
00:08:22 words do not change the meaning of the
00:08:25 passage just going to say that and it
00:08:28 does not constitute
00:08:30 an essential
00:08:31 shift in the uh any kind of essential
00:08:35 shift in the in the script yeah so uh
00:08:41 those
00:08:42 who and uh Moses in Hebrew is is
00:08:47 pronounced
00:08:48 Moshe
00:08:50 um and
00:08:52 uh and so so those are some things to go
00:08:56 through there Sim um
00:09:02 so the so the angel of
00:09:05 hia shows
00:09:09 himself it shows himself as a pill as a
00:09:12 bush burning with fire the Bush was not
00:09:16 consumed and so Moses Moses turns aside
00:09:20 and oh well this is a sight he turns
00:09:24 aside to see and God calls to him out of
00:09:26 the
00:09:27 fire and this is something that’s
00:09:30 actually really important because the
00:09:32 fire is often
00:09:35 used in the in the Old Testament and the
00:09:38 new in
00:09:39 representation of the Holy Spirit of
00:09:43 yah um and the law and judgment
00:09:49 yes moving on a little bit further in
00:09:52 the chapter here and he
00:09:54 said uh and this is Yahweh and he said
00:09:58 draw not nigh hither put off thy shoes
00:10:01 from off thy feet for the place whereon
00:10:04 thou standest is Holy Ground moreover
00:10:08 Yahweh said I am
00:10:12 Yahweh I am Yahweh of thy father the god
00:10:17 the Yahweh of Abraham the Yahweh of
00:10:20 Isaac may I help you here God is God
00:10:24 here is being used as a title so it’s El
00:10:29 right yeah I am the eloh I am the Elohim
00:10:31 of thy father I am the Elohim of thy
00:10:34 Abraham I am the Elohim of Isaac and the
00:10:37 Elohim of Jacob and Moshe hid his face
00:10:41 for he was afraid to look upon Elohim
00:10:45 and Y said I have surely seen the
00:10:47 Affliction of my people which are in
00:10:49 Egypt and have heard their Cry by reason
00:10:54 of their taskmasters for I know their
00:10:56 sorrows now this is um this is
00:10:59 interesting thing I’ve surely seen the
00:11:02 Affliction of my people which are in
00:11:04 Egypt he hadn’t forgotten his Covenant
00:11:07 with the seed of
00:11:11 Jacob and he still hasn’t forgotten his
00:11:14 Covenant with the seed of
00:11:17 Jacob now here an interesting thing here
00:11:20 put off thy shoes from off thy feet for
00:11:22 the place where On th standest is Holy
00:11:25 Ground um shoes when we when
00:11:29 um shoes represent
00:11:32 Authority so he’s he’s telling Moses to
00:11:37 remove the symbols of his authority for
00:11:41 he is in the presence of a
00:11:46 greater so in other
00:11:49 words show
00:11:52 respect
00:11:54 um but he didn’t do it as like show some
00:11:58 respect you you know evil person he just
00:12:01 was like you’re on you’re in my
00:12:04 authority you’re in my presence you’re
00:12:07 in my presence please humble yourself
00:12:10 before me yes and take no Authority unto
00:12:14 yourself
00:12:18 correct and I am come down to deliver
00:12:20 them out of the land out of the hand of
00:12:22 the Egyptians and to bring them up out
00:12:25 of that place onto a land onto a good
00:12:28 land and a large onto a land flowing
00:12:31 with milk and honey onto the place of
00:12:33 the Canaanites and the Hittites and the
00:12:35 amorites and the parasites and the
00:12:37 hivites and the
00:12:39 jebusites now therefore Behold The Cry
00:12:42 of the children of Israel has come unto
00:12:43 me and I have also seen the oppression
00:12:46 wherewith the Egyptians oppressed them
00:12:48 come now therefore I will send thee unto
00:12:51 Pharaoh that thou mayest bring forth my
00:12:54 people the children of Israel out of
00:12:56 Egypt so
00:12:59 he’s heard their cry so the children of
00:13:02 Israel have they haven’t forgotten y
00:13:07 completely they still know how to pray
00:13:10 they still pray to him and I have seen
00:13:13 the oppression wherewith
00:13:15 the wherewith the Egyptians oppressed
00:13:18 them
00:13:19 so after a long after after a period of
00:13:24 time he’s sending
00:13:26 Moses Moshe
00:13:29 to deliver them from their uh from their
00:13:37 oppression then Mo Moshe said unto
00:13:42 Elohim who am I that I should go into
00:13:45 pharaoh and that I should bring forth
00:13:48 the children of Israel out of
00:13:50 Egypt and he said this would be Yeh yeah
00:13:54 this is yeh or Elohim because Elohim is
00:13:58 a title and Yahweh is the name right but
00:14:03 talking about he that’s the name you’re
00:14:05 right and Yahweh
00:14:07 said certainly I will be with thee and
00:14:10 this shall be a token unto thee that I
00:14:13 have sent thee when thou Hast brought
00:14:15 forth the people out of Egypt You Shall
00:14:16 Serve God upon this
00:14:19 mountain and Moshe said unto
00:14:22 Elohim behold when I come unto the
00:14:25 children of
00:14:26 Israel and shall say unto them
00:14:30 the Elohim of your fathers hath sent me
00:14:34 unto you and they shall say to me what
00:14:37 is his name what shall I say unto them
00:14:41 okay so the children of Israel know the
00:14:45 name but um just really quickly though
00:14:50 right from the very start
00:14:54 Moses doesn’t want to do this yeah he
00:14:57 doesn’t feel like he’s worthy or
00:15:00 capable and Y but y doesn’t but y
00:15:04 doesn’t break his doesn’t bu doesn’t
00:15:08 bust him up over it he says he Comforts
00:15:11 him and tell gives him tokens and signs
00:15:16 ye shall serve Elohim Upon This Mountain
00:15:20 HB Sinai what did Moses do with the
00:15:23 children of Israel he brought them to
00:15:26 SI um or
00:15:30 uh depending on
00:15:32 um depending on whether your hisory
00:15:35 depending on whether your history in the
00:15:37 Bible is written by Judah or Joseph it’s
00:15:40 either Sinai or Horeb yeah so
00:15:44 um the uh so Moses uh and so Moses
00:15:52 replies what who he asks him a very
00:15:56 important question
00:15:59 when I when I when I say when I say to
00:16:03 when I say
00:16:04 to the Elohim of your fathers that send
00:16:07 me unto you they shall say to me what is
00:16:11 his name what shall I say unto them so
00:16:15 now this is important because up to this
00:16:18 point Moses is only
00:16:24 known has
00:16:26 doesn’t he knows that God
00:16:32 exists and he knows that he is to Revere
00:16:35 him and respect him and do as he
00:16:41 says but this question is very
00:16:46 telling he does not know what the name
00:16:53 is according to this to the King James
00:16:56 version text
00:16:59 okay
00:17:02 so moving on or also yeah so the
00:17:06 children of isra yesel do he was brought
00:17:09 up as an Egyptian remember he was
00:17:11 brought up as an Egyptian not
00:17:12 necessarily an Israelite so moving
00:17:17 on and Elohim said unto
00:17:21 Moses I am that I am
00:17:29 and he said thus shalt thou say unto the
00:17:32 children of of
00:17:34 yasharel I am hath sent me unto
00:17:38 you
00:17:40 now I
00:17:42 am is
00:17:46 uh is a uh is an English
00:17:50 translation of the Hebrew
00:17:53 tetragramaton which means he I he who
00:17:58 was he who is and he who is to come so
00:18:01 therefore I am that I am and that
00:18:05 tetragramaton is
00:18:09 y or as some people say
00:18:15 it um and that is and that is that is
00:18:20 acceptable as well thus shal thou say
00:18:23 unto the children of Israel I am sent I
00:18:26 am yah hath sent me unto you now there’s
00:18:31 a really important thing about this I am
00:18:33 that I
00:18:36 am this I he who was he who is he who is
00:18:40 to come he’s introducing his
00:18:44 unchanging nature that he has that he
00:18:48 has one way to him and always has had
00:18:53 one way to him there have not been
00:18:56 multiple ways and so he is
00:18:59 and so he is introducing this his ways
00:19:02 are the same he is the same and God said
00:19:06 moreover and Elohim said moreover unto
00:19:09 Moshe thus shalt thou say unto the
00:19:12 children of
00:19:13 yel the um Yahweh Elohim of your
00:19:18 fathers the Elohim of Abraham the Elohim
00:19:21 of Isaac the Elohim of Jacob hath sent
00:19:24 me unto you this is my name forever and
00:19:28 this is my zor unto all generations now
00:19:33 zor um
00:19:35 doesn’t just mean Memorial yeah it also
00:19:39 means mention so clearly if you
00:19:43 understand the Hebrew behind
00:19:46 this the name of God was never
00:19:51 ineffable the name of yah was never
00:19:55 ineffable the name of our Elohim was
00:20:00 never ineffable they you were always
00:20:03 supposed to be able to say them and that
00:20:06 was to be his mention in all the
00:20:09 world go and gather the Elders of
00:20:12 yasharel together and say unto them y
00:20:15 Elohim of your fathers the Elohim of
00:20:18 Abraham of Isaac and of Jacob appeared
00:20:20 unto me saying I have surely visited you
00:20:23 and seen that which is done to you in
00:20:25 Egypt
00:20:30 and I have said I will bring you up out
00:20:33 of the Affliction of Egypt under the
00:20:35 land of the Canaanites and the Hittites
00:20:38 and the amorites and the perizzites and
00:20:40 the hivites and the jebusites unto a
00:20:42 land flowing with milk and honey and
00:20:45 they shall hearken to thy voice and thou
00:20:48 shalt Thou shalt Come Thou and the
00:20:50 Elders of yarel Unto the king of Egypt
00:20:54 and ye shall say unto him Yahweh Elohim
00:20:58 of the Hebrews hath met with us and now
00:21:01 let us go we beseech thee three days
00:21:04 journey into the Wilderness that we may
00:21:06 sacrifice to Yahweh our Elohim and I am
00:21:10 sure that the king of Egypt will not let
00:21:13 you go no not by a mighty
00:21:18 hand
00:21:20 okay he knew that Pharaoh wouldn’t let
00:21:22 him go yeah now the other thing about
00:21:25 this is um
00:21:29 he he’s
00:21:31 promising he’s giving Mo he’s giving
00:21:33 Moshe a message
00:21:36 for those of yel or Israel and it’s
00:21:41 about
00:21:43 um and it is about Deliverance that he
00:21:46 is going to deliver them and he is going
00:21:48 to bring them through the Wilderness to
00:21:51 a land of milk and honey a Promised Land
00:21:53 This is and this is in relation to the
00:21:57 pattern of salv
00:21:59 which is going to be laid out um in a
00:22:02 future
00:22:03 recording but they’ll hearken they
00:22:07 hearken
00:22:09 to uh and
00:22:11 they and that and so they will uh he
00:22:14 promises Moses that the that the elders
00:22:16 will hearken to his voice and they’ll go
00:22:19 before the king of Egypt and he will not
00:22:22 let them go
00:22:27 mhm and now will stretch out my hand and
00:22:30 smite Egypt with all my wonders which I
00:22:32 will do in the midst thereof and after
00:22:35 that he will and after that he will let
00:22:37 you go and I will give this people favor
00:22:39 in the sight of the Egyptians and it
00:22:41 shall come to pass that when ye go ye
00:22:43 shall not go empty but every woman shall
00:22:46 borrow of her neighbor and of her that
00:22:48 sojourneth in her house jewels of silver
00:22:50 and jewels of gold and rment and ye
00:22:52 shall put them upon your sons and upon
00:22:54 your daughters and you shall spoil the
00:22:56 Egyptians now uh spoil the Egyptians is
00:23:01 a a mistranslation they the um Egyptians
00:23:05 had been withholding rightful wages from
00:23:08 the Israelites and therefore what was
00:23:10 going on was
00:23:12 recompense yeah for the withheld
00:23:15 wages um and this had been going on for
00:23:17 quite some time so that recompense will
00:23:19 be quite
00:23:20 great uh but he so
00:23:23 here so yofa is promising to deliver
00:23:27 them by
00:23:30 power and by his mighty wonders
00:23:35 including having them come under the
00:23:37 blood of the
00:23:39 lamb and so this is what this is what he
00:23:43 has in
00:23:44 mind it’s and it’s interesting um it’s
00:23:50 interesting that Mo that Moshe is
00:23:53 not it’s interesting to note that Moshe
00:23:57 um
00:24:01 he may or may not have been fully aware
00:24:04 of what exactly yah planned to
00:24:08 do but here
00:24:12 um but here but but due to the mighty
00:24:16 wonders and power of yah uh the the
00:24:22 Israel yel will be let go and the people
00:24:26 will give them stuff MH the withheld
00:24:30 wages that they uh or the wages that had
00:24:33 been withheld from
00:24:35 them and so we come to the end of
00:24:39 chapter 3 basically highlighting the
00:24:43 point that in every single
00:24:47 dispensation
00:24:50 God
00:24:52 calls a servant to go and res resue his
00:24:59 people and he provides a way whereby
00:25:03 they may go and do now the other uh
00:25:07 aspect that is shown here quite clearly
00:25:09 is that when yah reveals himself to his
00:25:13 servant the first thing that he
00:25:16 reveals is his
00:25:20 name which isn’t just his name it’s also
00:25:24 his character
00:25:26 yep and his perfection and is yeah and
00:25:31 therefore which and that is that he is
00:25:35 unchanging from year to year and there
00:25:38 is nothing that happens on Earth that
00:25:42 changes the will or the ways of Yahweh
00:25:48 your
00:25:49 Elohim so
00:25:53 um this actually leaves this actually
00:25:57 leaves um
00:25:59 if you believe that there has that a new
00:26:01 law was put in place by
00:26:04 Yeshua number one you’re not reading his
00:26:07 words very well uh or at least not
00:26:09 displaying decent U reading
00:26:12 comprehension
00:26:14 but the uh the the
00:26:19 uh but
00:26:22 primarily you need to throw that that
00:26:24 you need to throw that out
00:26:29 because of this and also because of
00:26:31 messages that are contained in
00:26:32 Deuteronomy 12
00:26:34 and13 which
00:26:37 indicate that if Yeshua had changed the
00:26:40 law as a man on Earth because he
00:26:47 because then he would have been a false
00:26:53 prophet but he didn’t change the law
00:26:57 because God’s not going to change his
00:27:00 law so the idea of God saying well God’s
00:27:06 Commandments are no good
00:27:09 anymore my words my words mean
00:27:13 nothing um I’m uh we’re just trashing
00:27:16 that we’re going to start all over again
00:27:18 that’s that’s not in the N this is not
00:27:21 in the mind and will of God this is not
00:27:24 in his character or this is not in his
00:27:26 character or his Perfections
00:27:29 he is
00:27:31 perfectly just which means one law for
00:27:36 isra for for Israel and one law for the
00:27:41 Sojourner within her Gates
00:27:44 y I know this to be true and I leave
00:27:47 this with you in the name of Yeshua
00:27:50 hamashia who is our Lord and
00:27:54 savior me am mean
