In addition to selecting of the lamb on the 10th day of the 1st moon (see Exodus 12:3-6) which goes with 1st Passover, 1st Unleavened Bread and 1st First Fruits, there is a 2nd selecting of the lamb for 2nd Passover (see Numbers 9:6-14), 2nd Unleavened Bread and 2nd First Fruits.

Noah and his family along with the animals entered the Ark on the 10th day of the 2nd moon. Genesis (JST 8:36)(KJV 7:11) tells us that water came from the earth and from the sky on the 17th day of the 2nd moon. In Genesis (JST 8:32)(KJV 7:4) and Genesis (JST 8:36)(KJV 7:10) tells that 7 days more after everyone and the animals are on the Ark it will rain. Simply subtracting 7 days from the 17th when the rain came gives us the 10th. The selecting of the 7 pairs of lambs was done on the 10th day of the 2nd moon even 2nd selecting of the lamb.

A forty days and forty nights.

A common theme with Genesis (JST 8)(KJV 6-8) and Numbers 9:6-14 is people not following YHWH’s Torah diligently. In Genesis (JST 8)(KJV 6-8) the wicked are destroyed by the flood because of their wickedness. In Numbers 9:6-14 people were defiled by dead bodies making them ceremonially unclean, which is not a sin, making them unable to participate in the ceremony of Passover. The wages of sin is death, so the dead bodies are symbolic of sin, and these people were associating themselves with sin. Symbolically, 2nd Selecting the Lamb goes along with people were less diligent is their faith (trust & diligence) in Yeshua / Jesus. Just as 2nd First Fruits goes along with the 2nd Resurrection of those who receive the Telestial Glory (see D&C (LDS 88:100-101)(RLDS 85)(1835 7)(1844 7)) and who will be the Sons / Followers of Perdition (see D&C (LDS 88:102)(RLDS 85)(1835 7)(1844 7)) because Yeshua / Jesus and His ways / Torah are not their desires. Just as the 1st Resurrection is for those who will receive Celestial Glory or Terrestrial Glory which goes with 1st First Fruits when Yeshua / Jesus was resurrected in the Morning Night Watch before 1st First Fruits ended (see Night Watches and Morning).

100 And again, another trump shall sound, which is the third trump; and then come the spirits of men who are to be judged, and are found under condemnation; 101 And these are the rest of the dead; and they live not again [resurrected] until the thousand years are ended, neither again, until the end of the earth.

102 And another trump shall sound, which is the fourth trump, saying: There are found among those who are to remain until that great and last day, even the end, who shall remain filthy [no atonement] still.
