00:00:00 yeah
00:00:02 go ahead okay
00:00:05 um
00:00:06 as I was going over the sacrament
00:00:08 prayers this um this last week I didn’t
00:00:11 know that there are some very there’s
00:00:14 some very significant um there’s a well
00:00:17 I don’t know how significant they are
00:00:19 but there is a significant there is a
00:00:21 significant difference in terms of the
00:00:23 prayer for the bread and the prayer for
00:00:25 the uh wine
00:00:27 in the sacrament and I just want to I’m
00:00:31 going to uh go ahead and highlight
00:00:36 um that’s that section of the prayer
00:00:38 that is different
00:00:41 um you know and so uh for the bread it
00:00:46 says in verse 3 of chapter four of
00:00:49 Moroni
00:00:51 that they that they may eat in
00:00:53 remembrance of the body of thy son and
00:00:55 witness unto thee
00:00:58 oh God the Eternal Father that they are
00:01:01 willing to take upon them the name of
00:01:02 thy son to take upon them the name of
00:01:05 thy son and always remember him and keep
00:01:08 his Commandments which he hath given
00:01:09 them that they may always have his
00:01:11 Spirit to be with them amen now there’s
00:01:14 a couple of significant
00:01:17 let’s skip over let’s skip over to
00:01:21 chapter five verse two and go over that
00:01:23 section of the prayer
00:01:25 um
00:01:26 in the wine prayer
00:01:29 um hence not water
00:01:33 yes wine prayer yes
00:01:37 why is it in the Book of Mormon anyway
00:01:42 absolutely absolutely
00:01:45 and we are so grateful for the wine
00:01:47 anyway to bless and sanctify this wine
00:01:50 to The Souls of all those who drink of
00:01:52 it that they may do it in remembrance of
00:01:54 the blood of thy son which was shed for
00:01:56 them
00:01:57 that they may witness under the O God
00:01:59 the Eternal Father that they to always
00:02:01 remember him that they may have his
00:02:03 Spirit to be with him there’s two
00:02:05 insertive phrases in the bread prayer
00:02:08 that are significant
00:02:11 that they are willing to take upon them
00:02:13 the name of thy son is inserted before
00:02:17 always remember him
00:02:23 and keep his Commandments which he hath
00:02:25 given them is inserted before they may
00:02:29 always that they may always have his
00:02:30 Spirit to be with them
00:02:32 no
00:02:33 I do believe that these phrases are
00:02:36 connected
00:02:37 The Taking of the The Taking of the name
00:02:40 upon us and keeping the Commandments
00:02:43 that’s why they’re both in the bread
00:02:45 prayer they’re not in the wine prayer
00:02:47 because the wine prayer is about
00:02:48 remembering his atonement yes the bread
00:02:51 prayer
00:02:53 they’re in the bread prayer because the
00:02:55 bread prayer is about what we do
00:02:59 to bring our broken heart and contrite
00:03:02 spirit to the table that his atonement
00:03:06 may be visited Upon Us yeah I can see
00:03:09 that so one thing I’m going to add that
00:03:11 I would say compliments what you’re
00:03:13 saying though is the name is a Hebrew
00:03:17 idiom for character
00:03:21 and his character
00:03:24 is keeping the Commandments and that is
00:03:26 how we take
00:03:28 his name upon us that’s why he gave
00:03:31 character upon us and that’s what the
00:03:34 Commandments teach
00:03:36 that’s why he gave us Commandments
00:03:41 I saw something else key in there that I
00:03:45 I think a lot of people may overlook
00:03:47 in the bread prayer
00:03:50 it says that they may always have a
00:03:53 spirit to be with them in the wine
00:03:55 prayer it says that they may have his
00:03:57 Spirit to be with him
00:03:59 so by taking his name Upon Us keeping
00:04:03 his Commandments we guarantee
00:04:06 always to have his Spirit
00:04:09 um and with you know the first one being
00:04:12 about the primarily Commandments right
00:04:15 um
00:04:16 it’s about keeping his Commandments we
00:04:19 would have his Spirit which is
00:04:23 um so spirit is an overload verb
00:04:26 overloaded term right yes but I think
00:04:29 this the context in this
00:04:31 um
00:04:32 prayer would suggest that it’s
00:04:35 um his ways his behaviors yes which is
00:04:39 one of the definitions of spirit which
00:04:41 is
00:04:42 taught us how he behaves in the
00:04:45 Commandments
00:04:46 and if we’re keeping his Commandments
00:04:50 we do have his character we would have
00:04:53 his character his spirit with him to
00:04:56 always be with us yeah well and this is
00:04:58 why it’s so important
00:05:00 okay
00:05:01 to live in the best that you know
00:05:05 because if you don’t you aren’t taking
00:05:07 upon you the name of Christ
00:05:09 you’re not taking upon him his character
00:05:12 you’re making excuses for why you fail
00:05:17 to do
00:05:18 as you promised to do
00:05:20 right those who do not those who do not
00:05:23 live to the best that they know and
00:05:26 still partake of the sacrament weekly so
00:05:31 I
00:05:33 I think you should think of I think this
00:05:35 is something to think about I don’t
00:05:37 think you need to accept it necessarily
00:05:39 as truth but I I would say 30 by 18.
00:05:44 yeah if you are not living if you’re not
00:05:47 repenting meaning striving to be better
00:05:51 because they’re I agree
00:05:54 one thing I would add myself to
00:05:57 um doing as you currently know
00:06:00 is Strive to learn more don’t just be
00:06:06 stagnant where you’re at yes don’t seek
00:06:09 to be Sanctified which you get
00:06:12 Sanctified by the law and that’s from
00:06:14 the DNC from The Book of Mormon and the
00:06:17 Bible it’s all over the place okay yep
00:06:20 it’s all throughout the scriptures that
00:06:21 the laws what the the law that it’s
00:06:24 through the law that the atonement of
00:06:25 Christ sanctifies us right and
00:06:28 sanctification is different than
00:06:29 justification but anyways we’re not
00:06:30 going there right now but
00:06:33 um I I would just add
00:06:36 do the best you know how now and if you
00:06:39 haven’t
00:06:40 because we all we make mistakes okay we
00:06:43 all have sinned me especially okay I
00:06:47 have sinned
00:06:48 but that doesn’t mean I have to sin now
00:06:50 that’s right see right at any moment you
00:06:55 can turn from your sins and live without
00:06:57 sin yes
00:06:59 yeah so we have no excuse in fact Paul
00:07:02 Ethan states that if you continually
00:07:04 sinning and just sinning
00:07:08 it’s as if there was no sacrifice for
00:07:10 you
00:07:11 right I I don’t we’d have to go look up
00:07:14 the exact phrase and we can if you guys
00:07:16 want to but it I’m paraphrasing but I
00:07:18 think but I think for our purposes for
00:07:20 this this was supposed to as I believe
00:07:23 that as I saw this this is supposed to
00:07:25 be a preamble where we’re talking about
00:07:28 the Covenant the nature of the Covenant
00:07:30 which is laid out in the sacramental
00:07:33 prayers and Ruth
00:07:35 actually goes into the nature of the
00:07:38 Covenant as well
00:07:41 and just on this I will say that
00:07:45 um the sacramental prayer
00:07:49 is a renewal of the Covenant
00:07:52 or let me say a little different it’s a
00:07:54 witness that we are renewing our
00:07:56 covenant to keep all history there you
00:07:59 go I can probably a better way of
00:08:01 stating it yeah because
00:08:03 um baptism is a witness
00:08:05 that you have already covenanted to keep
00:08:08 all his Commandments which means you
00:08:10 don’t need to go higher ordinances
00:08:15 such as the temple that I grew up in to
00:08:18 keep additional
00:08:19 covenants because
00:08:21 you have already covenanted to keep all
00:08:24 his Commandments and Baptist
00:08:27 right that this is just another one that
00:08:32 we do on a weekly basis yeah so so when
00:08:36 so it’s a really important thing that
00:08:38 when we talk about sacraments as a
00:08:41 plural what we’re talking about are the
00:08:44 ordinances of Salvation right and just
00:08:47 to make sure people know that dnc59
00:08:51 sacraments is plural in dnc59 and that’s
00:08:54 where he’s yes yes it is and therefore
00:08:57 your sacraments the ordinances of
00:09:00 Salvation are meant to be performed on
00:09:02 the Sabbath
00:09:04 you don’t only have to happen on the
00:09:06 Sabbath but I would say that’s the
00:09:09 preferred time that yeah when the Gates
00:09:12 of Heaven are open
00:09:15 well they’re always open but I do think
00:09:18 wait a minute yeah but in the Scriptures
00:09:21 it states specifically that there are
00:09:23 days when they’re when they are closed
00:09:26 the approach to where the approach goes
00:09:30 well
00:09:36 it’s okay and maybe you’re right so
00:09:40 but anyways uh I I think Heaven is
00:09:43 always open to receive a repentant
00:09:46 sinner myself yeah yeah but I do think
00:09:50 there’s some preferred days to do
00:09:52 right right
00:09:55 all the questions and then the question
00:09:57 be and then the question then becomes
00:09:59 why are they and preferred
00:10:03 for me it’s not for me it’s never enough
00:10:05 to know that it’s a preferred day I have
00:10:08 to know why it’s preferred and so that’s
00:10:10 that’s that’s that’s
00:10:12 why that’s kind of what I’m that’s kind
00:10:15 of where I’m trying to get at and it’s
00:10:17 dude in my study uh due to study
00:10:20 regarding the Sabbath day
00:10:23 um
00:10:25 and I may be misinterpreting the
00:10:27 scripture that
00:10:28 in Ezekiel that talks about that
00:10:32 uh um sure but like I think it’s the
00:10:35 preferred day because that’s the day
00:10:37 that represents the kingdom heaven right
00:10:40 right in fact Friends Day it should be a
00:10:45 mirror of the seventh millennium
00:10:52 just a little interesting tidbit
00:10:55 it’s the seventh year that the land has
00:10:57 rest
00:10:59 I this is true that’s a whole nother
00:11:01 subject but anyways I find it intriguing
00:11:04 in that I I think
00:11:07 um
00:11:08 I’ll just say this
00:11:10 life’s I do believe is going to be
00:11:12 easier
00:11:14 you said what now life and farming I
00:11:17 think will be easier but anyways
00:11:20 we’re side we’re we’re sidetracking now
00:11:22 but yeah
00:11:25 yeah we’re the squirrels are running in
00:11:28 all different directions oh yeah okay so
00:11:32 um
00:11:34 but I I think that uh uh but that was
00:11:37 something that I wanted to bring out in
00:11:39 the sacramental prayers that the keeping
00:11:42 of The Commandments is
00:11:44 inextricably connected with taking upon
00:11:47 us the name of the Sun right and I I
00:11:50 would definitely say the bread does go
00:11:53 and that the bread
00:11:55 and the bread the wine goes with the
00:11:58 atonement but anyways and at the bread
00:12:00 prayer and furthermore
00:12:02 that the bread prayer is about what we
00:12:05 bring to the table with our broken heart
00:12:07 and contrite spirit
00:12:09 right which is
00:12:12 um
00:12:13 representative of being
00:12:16 of repentant which is going back to the
00:12:19 Commandments right yes and then the wine
00:12:22 prayer
00:12:24 is representative of our remembrance of
00:12:27 what he brings correct yes right yeah
00:12:32 and so the so the Sacrament in and of
00:12:35 itself is a complete Witness
00:12:38 of both sides of the Covenant
00:12:41 correct yeah
00:12:43 yeah yes
00:12:46 absolutely
00:12:48 so I figured that might be uplifting to
00:12:51 share yeah I think that’s it’s that’s it
00:12:54 was like I think I’ve shared thoughts
00:12:57 about the the Sacrament in the past and
00:12:58 I think it’s an important thing to
00:13:02 reflect upon because it it I do believe
00:13:04 it it points to the atonement and what
00:13:07 we need to do
00:13:08 yeah yes this is a renewal of a covenant
00:13:12 that we made before we were baptized
00:13:15 right at least you better have made it
00:13:18 before you were baptized otherwise why
00:13:20 the heck were you about this so I agree
00:13:23 with that statement
00:13:24 but I I do know the other Church teaches
00:13:27 you make it at baptism instead of before
00:13:30 um so yeah get it wrong but that’s I’m
00:13:33 sidetracking a little bit
00:13:35 um I think next we want to go talk about
00:13:37 Ruth so let’s yes let’s Ruth let’s focus
00:13:40 on that then let’s not be ruthless
00:13:44 another church
00:13:46 let us not be ruthless yeah ah that was
00:13:50 clever
00:13:53 so I’m just gonna bring in I don’t know
00:13:55 if there’s any Jews died over here he’s
00:13:59 about to he’s about to cut his ears off
00:14:03 that’s pretty good actually there’s no
00:14:06 job uh it was it was clever it was
00:14:08 clever it was just a little too clever
00:14:10 that you know I liked it
00:14:13 no that’s good
00:14:15 it’s just um I was a little jelly that I
00:14:18 didn’t think of it if it first so
00:14:25 um I’ll let Zach say a little bit
00:14:27 because this is actually his idea to
00:14:28 read Ruth so
00:14:30 um sorry to put you on the spot Zach but
00:14:32 you guys do it to me all the time
00:14:35 take that
00:14:38 ugh
00:14:44 I actually don’t remember
00:14:47 how we got to the idea how I got to the
00:14:49 idea of doing this
00:14:52 uh I don’t either because I I we all
00:14:55 have various things we’re going to talk
00:14:57 about but we all
00:14:59 we we kind of I try to focus on what
00:15:01 people bring up at in the moment and
00:15:05 this does this really have anything so
00:15:06 that’s
00:15:07 um and we all voted for Ruth so now
00:15:09 we’re gonna do it may I say something
00:15:12 Stephen yeah yeah go ahead sorry
00:15:15 so Ruth is a beautiful
00:15:18 uh and simplest explanation the most
00:15:22 beautiful expose
00:15:23 on someone who is not initially a part
00:15:27 of the Covenant who can become a part of
00:15:30 the Covenant I would say on the Covenant
00:15:33 relationship with their father in Heaven
00:15:34 I would say that the Book of Ruth is
00:15:37 actually prophetic yeah that too
00:15:40 it’s absolutely a prophetic analogy uh I
00:15:45 mean yes it’s historical but at the same
00:15:48 time it’s also in in the finest Jewish
00:15:51 tradition the history becomes prophetic
00:15:55 uh becomes prophetic metaphor
00:15:59 [Music]
00:16:00 um and uh the uh we have
00:16:04 and what we have here
00:16:07 is
00:16:11 the bringing into the Covenant
00:16:14 and we have the name we have put on
00:16:18 display the nature of the Covenant
00:16:21 and the nature of our relationship
00:16:25 with he who gave the Covenant
00:16:28 yeah
00:16:29 right and and one thing I I would say is
00:16:33 um
00:16:34 I would say
00:16:36 Naomi the the old mother right is
00:16:41 symbolic of the old church
00:16:44 teaching the new church how to come unto
00:16:48 the Messiah
00:16:50 because
00:16:53 um when
00:16:54 Ruth
00:16:57 um
00:16:58 uh basically proposes and says I want to
00:17:01 be in your Covenant
00:17:03 to
00:17:06 um oh no as Boaz yeah sorry
00:17:10 um
00:17:12 who taught her how to do it
00:17:14 is Naomi the ancient Church
00:17:20 which is so symbolic of the way that we
00:17:23 should read the scriptures the Old
00:17:25 Testament informs our understanding of
00:17:27 the new testament which in which in turn
00:17:30 the Bible under informs our
00:17:32 understanding of the Book of Mormon as
00:17:35 the Covenant marches forward through
00:17:37 time
00:17:38 exactly more people are brought in
00:17:42 and I I want to say this I may be
00:17:45 stretching on this but John the Baptist
00:17:48 that I
00:17:49 am not worthy to unloose his shoes
00:17:53 his sandals I think it actually was
00:17:57 um not shoes because shoes was more
00:17:59 modern right but anyways
00:18:01 um but I find it interesting that in
00:18:05 Ruth we can learn what that has to deal
00:18:08 with it’s the Covenant
00:18:10 yeah John was not worthy to do the
00:18:14 Covenant
00:18:15 the Messiah is
00:18:17 yes
00:18:18 Zach you keep wanting to contribute yeah
00:18:20 go ahead Zach
00:18:22 I was
00:18:25 um thinking that
00:18:28 I think it was
00:18:29 [Music]
00:18:29 um
00:18:30 Ben and Matt’s originally has been a
00:18:32 Matt’s idea or like they bring they
00:18:35 brought it up
00:18:37 they brought it up and I guess I signed
00:18:40 second
00:18:41 you seconded it yeah okay I I don’t
00:18:44 remember but yeah we had just finished
00:18:48 this was a this was a good little while
00:18:51 ago so it’s no sin that nobody remembers
00:18:53 but we just yeah but it’s uh but it’s uh
00:18:57 we just finished reading Ruth and we
00:19:00 were we were both of the both Matt and I
00:19:03 were in the fields about it we were just
00:19:05 like oh my gosh this is powerful stuff
00:19:08 oh the the even without reviewing it I
00:19:12 just what I know of it like we said it’s
00:19:15 it’s very symbolic
00:19:18 um Boaz is the savior because
00:19:21 atones or he that a is the price he is
00:19:26 the Kinsmen Redeemer actually yes uh and
00:19:30 um yeah redeemer is symbolic of the
00:19:34 savior because the savior is for those
00:19:37 who come under his covering
00:19:40 is
00:19:42 the
00:19:43 Kinsmen Redeemer that’s what it points
00:19:46 to
00:19:47 in so many ways those who refuse to come
00:19:50 under his covering have no kinship
00:19:53 and just to get along with this the
00:19:56 um
00:19:58 there’s multiple things that are in this
00:20:01 including the um
00:20:04 uh liberate law uh and I think I’ve
00:20:09 mentioned this before but the level
00:20:10 right law points to how the prophets who
00:20:15 are the closest
00:20:17 two the Messiah are to bring
00:20:21 or to marry the church and teach the
00:20:24 church so that way they can bring forth
00:20:26 children AK followers of the Messiah
00:20:30 right that’s what the lover law is
00:20:33 pointing to in my honest opinion but
00:20:36 maybe I’m taking yeshua’s word that all
00:20:40 the law and the prophets teach of him
00:20:42 too seriously but I don’t think I am I
00:20:46 think I don’t think I don’t think that’s
00:20:47 I don’t think that’s a terrible stretch
00:20:49 oh I don’t think it’s a stretch at all
00:20:51 but I’m sure there’s going to be people
00:20:52 out there that are going to say like
00:20:54 well I was I’m being conservative I’m
00:20:57 trying to be conservative here sure sure
00:20:59 I know
00:21:01 um but
00:21:03 um it doesn’t suit me well I should stop
00:21:08 but we have that law in here also but
00:21:11 also just FYI
00:21:14 um this also shows us that polygamy
00:21:18 um brings condemnation because
00:21:21 um
00:21:22 the closer kin which I forget his name
00:21:26 if he would have married Ruth it would
00:21:29 have brought shame on to him
00:21:31 um
00:21:33 but it wouldn’t brought shame on De Boaz
00:21:35 it’s because of polygamy he was already
00:21:37 married
00:21:39 polygamy was wrong
00:21:41 and there’s a lot to support that but
00:21:44 anyways I I just want to bring that out
00:21:45 before maybe we start reading and yeah
00:21:47 if you ever get there because we we take
00:21:50 forever to read things yeah we we we
00:21:52 each of us the words and the scriptures
00:21:56 speak to each of us yes
00:21:59 and then we start speaking and then
00:22:01 suddenly the schools go everywhere yeah
00:22:03 so our hot air people need to decide is
00:22:06 it because we’re in yeshua’s bosom or is
00:22:09 because we’re in Hell hopefully people
00:22:12 will recognize that it’s because we’re
00:22:14 in his bosom and we know his word okay
00:22:17 but I I know some are going to think
00:22:19 it’s because I’m in hell I’ve had many
00:22:22 tell me that but
00:22:25 they don’t know their Messiah
00:22:27 yeah same likewise so
00:22:31 anyway alrighty so let’s get started
00:22:33 with the reading
00:22:35 so
00:22:36 um Josh you you willing to read for a
00:22:38 little bit
00:22:39 sure
00:22:40 okay
00:22:41 um all right so we’ll just start chapter
00:22:43 one yeah yeah I I don’t know where to
00:22:46 start I’m just going to start at the
00:22:48 beginning that’s a good that’s a good
00:22:49 place
00:22:54 uh now it came to pass in the days when
00:22:57 the judges ruled that there was a famine
00:23:00 in the land and a certain man of
00:23:03 Bethlehem Judah went to sojourn in the
00:23:06 country of Moab he and his wife and his
00:23:09 two sons so I I I can bring out some
00:23:13 things right here so before
00:23:16 yesterday’s second coming and I would
00:23:19 even say even before his first coming
00:23:20 there was a famine in the land right yep
00:23:24 um and because of that
00:23:27 and there is also the scattering right
00:23:30 right yeah
00:23:32 um which we’ll see
00:23:34 is this before this is the second coming
00:23:37 there’s a scout this is somewhat
00:23:38 prophetic
00:23:40 right yeah is it because it doesn’t say
00:23:43 that here but those that just know the
00:23:45 story know there’s a a gathering back
00:23:49 later into the story right yeah
00:23:52 um and also I find it prophetic
00:23:56 two sons
00:23:58 two countries so men
00:24:03 in the scriptures can represent Prophets
00:24:06 or countries
00:24:10 and in this context here I would take it
00:24:12 to mean Jerusalem and Zion
00:24:15 or the southern Kingdom and the northern
00:24:18 kingdom but um especially how these two
00:24:20 sons die and so with these two sins
00:24:23 dying I would take it meaning
00:24:25 probably more along
00:24:28 um the northern and southern Kingdom
00:24:30 right right rather than kind of what I
00:24:33 was I was thinking along those lines too
00:24:37 um uh and and the name of the man was
00:24:40 elimelech and the name of his wife Naomi
00:24:43 and the name of his two sons Milan and
00:24:47 Chilean
00:24:48 ephrathites of Bethlehem Judah and they
00:24:51 came into the country of Moab and
00:24:54 continued there so I I’m just curious if
00:24:57 you guys want I wonder what those names
00:24:59 mean
00:25:02 let’s look at it I’ve always been a
00:25:05 little curious well let’s go Bible Hub
00:25:09 yes
00:25:11 yes
00:25:17 since I already started since we’ve
00:25:19 started bringing out
00:25:20 um deeper meanings let’s continue that
00:25:23 absolutely
00:25:25 I’m totally cool with that
00:25:30 I hope so
00:25:32 don’t worry that’s the line speaking
00:25:36 you but you’re not a drunker anymore
00:25:40 [Laughter]
00:25:42 don’t mind me
00:25:44 let’s go look at the uh husband’s name
00:25:47 pay no attention to the man behind the
00:25:50 curtain oh my God is King
00:25:53 uh oh
00:25:54 oh look at that I’m just kidding that
00:25:57 makes it looks like l l
00:25:59 yeah oh my gosh yeah
00:26:03 God is King
00:26:05 wow uh the King’s wife
00:26:09 name Naomi okay let’s go look at Naomi
00:26:11 that makes me really wonder about that
00:26:13 name
00:26:16 okay that’s who she is but what’s the
00:26:20 name
00:26:21 what’s the translation of the name and
00:26:24 meaning
00:26:25 um
00:26:30 [Music]
00:26:31 uh Israelites uh
00:26:35 I don’t see where it says no am it’s
00:26:38 from Noam Strong’s exhaustive
00:26:40 Concordance down there at the bottom
00:26:42 scroll down oh right here so I’ll click
00:26:43 on that one
00:26:45 let’s see what that is Pleasant huh
00:26:47 Pleasant delightful or lovely
00:26:50 and his wife was pleasant delightful and
00:26:52 lovely oh his word was pleasant
00:26:55 delightful and lovely yeah oh this is oh
00:26:58 man
00:26:58 that’s cool
00:27:03 there’s the king with his lovely wife
00:27:07 right yeah man this now let’s look at
00:27:10 Malik for a second yeah this is totally
00:27:13 changes everything
00:27:18 at all no never
00:27:22 right uh so this one we apparently
00:27:26 uncertain
00:27:28 deviation huh observation so
00:27:32 masculine
00:27:34 [Music]
00:27:35 yeah okay this one it’s not being too
00:27:38 helpful
00:27:39 no uh wait oh did it say it’s supposed
00:27:43 to be matlon
00:27:45 did I did I miss something
00:27:49 why is it math lawn it’s supposed to oh
00:27:52 oh
00:27:53 I got you so it’s uh the Hebrew I I’m
00:27:57 sorry I’m getting caught up on the
00:27:58 Hebrew sorry it’s Ma so it’s actually a
00:28:02 hard aspirative
00:28:06 um if we wanted to spend time we could
00:28:09 look at the letters but I I’d rather not
00:28:11 spend time on that no no no no no no I’m
00:28:13 just all I’m saying is is I got caught
00:28:15 up with the
00:28:17 helium
00:28:26 I know I know you’re going on the Hebrew
00:28:28 okay
00:28:30 to be complete it is
00:28:33 finished accomplished or spent and he’s
00:28:37 the youngest and last son
00:28:42 that’s interesting
00:28:45 at an end so you know
00:28:48 um
00:28:49 I I would speculate here that would
00:28:51 almost point to Joseph at the end
00:28:55 because Joseph’s going to be a big deal
00:28:57 at the end right yeah
00:29:00 um so I I would wonder just complete
00:29:03 speculation here if my home
00:29:07 or home I’m not gonna try any more than
00:29:11 that
00:29:12 um if we actually knew translation I
00:29:15 wonder if it would point to Judah
00:29:16 somehow
00:29:17 just
00:29:18 yeah
00:29:19 that’s an interesting I I don’t know
00:29:23 that’s complete speculation right of
00:29:25 course right of course all right I was
00:29:27 thinking more along the lines of uh well
00:29:31 if we look at the the definitions
00:29:34 underneath the uncertain derivation it
00:29:36 says the first husband of Ruth but like
00:29:40 the first so maybe it’s talking about
00:29:45 hell no that wouldn’t no really make
00:29:47 sense never mind never mind I’ve already
00:29:50 uh called myself on it okay all right oh
00:29:54 by the way we’re looking at the
00:29:56 definitions of names elimelech is God is
00:30:00 King yeah Naomi is Pleasant
00:30:04 beautiful
00:30:06 wonderful so if you think about it
00:30:08 Limitless is God and he has this wife
00:30:12 who is the church and beautiful his
00:30:16 church yeah and and then the uh the
00:30:20 oldest son we
00:30:22 um or whatever we don’t yeah they don’t
00:30:26 know what it it comes from so we don’t
00:30:28 need anything about that but the second
00:30:30 one
00:30:31 um
00:30:33 translates to at end which to me I
00:30:37 wonder if it’s pointing to Ephraim
00:30:39 because or Joseph was the big deal that
00:30:41 he has in the end
00:30:43 and because of that I wonder if the
00:30:45 other son
00:30:47 if we knew the definition or what it
00:30:49 comes from would point to Judah I just
00:30:52 wonder
00:30:53 but you can see here they don’t know so
00:30:58 um
00:30:58 we we can’t say anything that’s just
00:31:00 complete speculation it’s just to me
00:31:02 it’s curious
00:31:04 especially with the husband and the
00:31:06 wife’s name and what they point to right
00:31:08 which I think that adds symbolism to the
00:31:13 history right yes and I think it also
00:31:16 shows God’s hands ends in it right
00:31:20 um but let’s go back
00:31:23 I don’t think we’re gonna get done
00:31:25 reading this
00:31:27 we’re only in verse two here let’s go to
00:31:30 verse three
00:31:32 okay
00:31:33 and limilek Naomi’s husband died
00:31:37 and she was left and her two sons well
00:31:41 so this obviously would be pointing to
00:31:44 the atonement because yes father died
00:31:50 right and he died for the two Nations
00:31:55 from
00:31:58 which yeah Israel right because he died
00:32:01 for the house of Israel
00:32:03 AKA The Believers right right
00:32:07 and they took them wives of the women of
00:32:10 Moab
00:32:11 the name all you know
00:32:14 uh
00:32:15 the church
00:32:17 took on Pagan ways yeah took on the ways
00:32:21 that they weren’t supposed to we should
00:32:23 we should uh investigate those names too
00:32:25 the name of the one was orpa
00:32:29 okay well yeah yeah all right so let’s
00:32:31 go back to Bible Hub yep are you like
00:32:35 Bible Hub
00:32:36 we love it
00:32:40 and of course we know the other one was
00:32:42 Ruth but yeah
00:32:44 um um so orpa verse four okay so one
00:32:48 yeah two three four
00:32:52 so I I just let’s just look at moabite
00:32:55 just out of curiosity
00:32:58 we’ll know that but okay
00:33:01 yeah
00:33:03 Sun a lot
00:33:05 okay but I want more than that
00:33:09 um
00:33:13 okay it’s not giving a lot for
00:33:17 no because moabite is a descriptor of
00:33:20 well what but let’s go back to something
00:33:22 to a study we did earlier regarding
00:33:27 um
00:33:28 yeah well
00:33:30 since 18 and 19 right
00:33:33 yeah
00:33:34 lot and his daughter’s transgression the
00:33:38 transgression
00:33:39 and these Moab and these moabites are
00:33:43 the descendants of transgression right
00:33:46 right and so I agree this is showing how
00:33:48 the the church
00:33:52 teaching they’re taking on transgression
00:33:55 they’re adopting the ways of the of the
00:33:58 world but let’s go look at these names
00:34:05 well that’s a good definition okay but
00:34:07 we want more meaning in the name from
00:34:09 the same as
00:34:11 all right look at this one or F
00:34:15 back of the next so uh fifth neck and
00:34:19 neck is what I would uh give them the
00:34:22 mind for me right stiff neck stiff neck
00:34:25 yes yeah okay so let’s go look at Ruth
00:34:28 that one’s probably going to be positive
00:34:30 just
00:34:32 uh French all friendship
00:34:36 so this brings to mind that Yeshua
00:34:39 doesn’t
00:34:41 just throw out the name or title friend
00:34:45 right those who of he only calls those
00:34:48 who have friends that have really come
00:34:49 into His Covenant and are diligently
00:34:51 seeking after him
00:34:54 which is why which is why in the New
00:34:57 Testament when he said I’ve called you
00:34:58 friend he made such a big deal out of it
00:35:01 to the apostles that’s why he makes it
00:35:03 really made a lot of it that’s why he
00:35:06 makes such a big deal out of it in the
00:35:07 Doctrine and Covenants yeah yes that too
00:35:09 big deal in the doctrine covenants too
00:35:11 now anywhere that he has called people
00:35:13 friend he really he foot Stomps it every
00:35:17 single time he’s like I’ve called you my
00:35:20 friend yeah and and Ruth it’s about
00:35:22 someone who’s a honest true Hebrew that
00:35:26 she has crossed over right right uh into
00:35:31 his ways she is a child she is a child
00:35:35 of transgression who crosses over
00:35:38 into true worship
00:35:41 so the the definition of Ruth makes
00:35:44 perfect sense so here it’s friendship
00:35:47 let’s go look at it here
00:35:49 and raw
00:35:53 probably to associate with although that
00:35:56 makes sense for with being friendship
00:35:58 right right
00:36:00 okay yeah
00:36:03 that I think the meaning of these names
00:36:06 uh adds depth to the that’s a lot to the
00:36:11 to the whole
00:36:13 story well and and knowing
00:36:16 and the p and the and and the people
00:36:19 being defined
00:36:21 yeah
00:36:22 yes
00:36:23 but it’s actually
00:36:26 the knowing who these people are
00:36:29 is really important too
00:36:32 right okay so I think we read the first
00:36:35 sent or yeah we did you want to read the
00:36:38 rest
00:36:38 sure the name of the one was orpa the
00:36:42 name of the other was Ruth
00:36:44 and they dwelled there about 10 years so
00:36:48 I I mean this could be a stretch but I I
00:36:51 actually considering what the names mean
00:36:55 um I don’t think so because Ruth goes
00:36:58 back to the kingdom and the other one
00:37:00 doesn’t and so I think it’s easy
00:37:03 to suggest that the 10 years would point
00:37:05 to the Ten Commandments
00:37:09 but I can understand why some people
00:37:11 would call that a stretch yeah but I I
00:37:14 personally do not
00:37:16 yeah
00:37:19 could be
00:37:22 uh let’s see and uh mahalon and Killian
00:37:25 also both have uh died oh my goodness
00:37:29 okay let me start over and mahlon and
00:37:32 Killian died also both of them and the
00:37:37 woman was left of her two sons and her
00:37:41 husband
00:37:43 thing that’s rough then the Nations died
00:37:49 right right
00:37:51 and but there was still
00:37:54 two churches the church
00:37:56 two churches the Church of the devil
00:37:58 which actually goes along with the ah
00:38:01 sorry my little Kindle app
00:38:05 um goes with the older one right the
00:38:07 name her name right and and the Church
00:38:10 of
00:38:11 of Yahweh which goes along with the name
00:38:14 of Ruth actually right friends right
00:38:18 um so yeah
00:38:20 then she arose with her daughters-in-law
00:38:23 that she might return from the country
00:38:25 of Moab
00:38:26 from the country of transgression the
00:38:29 church arises to return from
00:38:30 transgression yeah he made us from the
00:38:33 dust of the Earth
00:38:35 he takes us from sane’s to Maine and
00:38:37 brings us into his domain
00:38:39 all right
00:38:44 you want to finish
00:38:46 where she had heard in the country of
00:38:47 Moab held that the Lord had visited his
00:38:50 people and giving them wow
00:38:55 bread
00:38:57 and now and now you know why I wanted to
00:39:00 go into the sacrament prayers okay all
00:39:03 right
00:39:04 um
00:39:05 yeah the bread is the word of God
00:39:08 yes those who were of
00:39:13 the pagans or the Greek culture
00:39:16 has started hearing that Yahweh is
00:39:18 speaking again and they wanted to go to
00:39:21 it right this even makes it even more
00:39:23 about the second coming right yep
00:39:26 absolutely Kindle with her that’s nice
00:39:31 okay I’ll let you take back over Josh
00:39:34 all right
00:39:35 wherefore she went forth out of the
00:39:38 place where she was
00:39:40 and her two daughters right because
00:39:43 they’re first seeing the problem
00:39:46 and then working on the solution or
00:39:49 starting to enact a solution because
00:39:51 there’s a wake where I think a lot of
00:39:54 people learn that there’s a problem but
00:39:56 then there’s a rising and that’s a whole
00:39:59 different story
00:40:00 [Music]
00:40:02 I’ll just say this real quick arising is
00:40:04 keeping the Commandments yes it’s doing
00:40:12 that would actually make sense
00:40:14 considering that a waking just allows
00:40:16 you to stay in your bed but a rising
00:40:18 requires you to do something right yeah
00:40:21 get the covers off and get up and walk
00:40:23 around get up and stand
00:40:25 straight
00:40:28 yep
00:40:30 and move
00:40:31 and move yeah and do which is what the
00:40:35 um ether 12 is a good one for that right
00:40:38 yeah yeah it is yeah it is and Hebrews
00:40:41 11 but anyways yeah for she had heard in
00:40:45 the country Moab how that the Lord had
00:40:48 uh we were in verse yeah wherefore she
00:40:51 went forth out of the place where she
00:40:53 was and her two daughters-in-law with
00:40:55 her and they went on the way to return
00:40:57 onto the land of Judah
00:41:01 so now they just straight up say it
00:41:04 yeah yeah so the two daughters for the
00:41:06 two churches they start going that way
00:41:08 right yep and those who are familiar
00:41:11 with the store that I’m a story about
00:41:13 history I like to use history more
00:41:15 because this is history and it’s been
00:41:18 crafted in a way to teach us and in the
00:41:20 time that it was written it was prophecy
00:41:23 uh yes I I in this case I still would
00:41:25 say it still is prophecy but anyway
00:41:28 right
00:41:29 um but it’s written in a way to teach us
00:41:33 things and is and also prophecy but
00:41:36 those who are familiar with the history
00:41:38 they know that one continues to the
00:41:42 promised land
00:41:44 and one does not
00:41:46 right right right
00:41:49 right uh and Naomi said unto her two
00:41:53 daughters-in-law go return each to her
00:41:57 mother’s house the Lord deal kindly with
00:42:00 you as ye have dealt with the dead and
00:42:03 with me so I think this is prophetica
00:42:06 how the Jews didn’t teach others like
00:42:10 they were supposed to
00:42:12 um
00:42:13 because there’s no other the old church
00:42:15 saying don’t follow me
00:42:18 get away get out of here yeah which is
00:42:21 goes along with the false Traditions
00:42:23 that the Jews had not to preach to
00:42:25 others
00:42:26 where acts 50 or acts 10 is about
00:42:30 Yeshua yeah Peter that was a false
00:42:33 tradition don’t no I never taught that
00:42:35 in fact the scriptures even teach it in
00:42:37 fact it was a mixed multitude at Sinai
00:42:39 but anyways right right right right
00:42:43 uh the Lord grant you that you may find
00:42:46 rest each of you in the house of her
00:42:49 husband
00:42:51 then she kissed them and they lifted up
00:42:54 their voice and wept so rest has to do
00:42:57 with salvation yep right and here here’s
00:43:01 the old church saying go find Salvation
00:43:03 your own way
00:43:05 yeah which is the what the old church
00:43:07 the Jews did right and it’s what they
00:43:11 still do yeah yes yeah
00:43:15 um
00:43:16 but I’m just more trying to fit it into
00:43:18 here but because that’s more
00:43:22 um do you still do that yes
00:43:25 um but I I wouldn’t call the current
00:43:27 Jews the old church though no they’re
00:43:29 not no they’re not not even close
00:43:33 yeah they’re they’ve accepted well
00:43:36 anyways we won’t go into that it’s like
00:43:39 track and they sit under her surely we
00:43:43 will return with thee unto thy people
00:43:46 and Naomi said turn again let’s
00:43:50 um so this is probably a good maybe
00:43:52 place for maybe Zach to take a turn if
00:43:54 that’s okay Zach
00:43:57 yeah
00:43:58 you want to read 11 Zach
00:44:05 and they always had
00:44:08 and they don’t yeah
00:44:10 they only said turn again my daughters I
00:44:14 will you go with me
00:44:16 are there yet any more sons in my womb
00:44:19 that they may be your husbands
00:44:23 so I I I don’t know maybe Ben might have
00:44:27 something I’m not sure how to read that
00:44:28 symbolically okay so this is actually
00:44:31 one of those things that is of um
00:44:34 immense uh societal importance at the
00:44:39 time in that um basically the
00:44:51 I’m not sure how to read and what else
00:44:54 to read into that other than just the
00:44:56 lover at law
00:45:02 or there are a lot of Jews
00:45:04 who don’t look forward to the Messiah so
00:45:07 maybe that’s what it could be
00:45:13 this is the liberate law and it wasn’t
00:45:15 just the Jews that kept it I think is
00:45:17 what it’s showing here right yeah
00:45:19 right others did it too
00:45:22 right that’s because
00:45:24 um I would believe it was taught with
00:45:25 Noah and all the nations of the world
00:45:28 are descendants of Noah but anyway yeah
00:45:31 yeah there’s there’s always there is a
00:45:34 tendency in just about every society
00:45:36 almost every society not every society
00:45:39 but in almost every society for the
00:45:42 family to step up and care for the um
00:45:45 for the family of the of the deceased
00:45:49 okay okay yeah okay
00:45:52 so but yeah this is the main thing about
00:45:54 11 is that it’s pointing the lever at
00:45:56 law
00:45:57 um and as we and as we delve deeper into
00:46:01 leverage law you’ll see that
00:46:04 um the connection between that and
00:46:07 raising up seed in righteousness
00:46:09 right in the prophets and the Messiah
00:46:12 and which I mentioned earlier
00:46:17 so 12
00:46:21 and again my daughters
00:46:23 go your way friend too old to have a
00:46:27 husband
00:46:28 if I should
00:46:30 say I have hope
00:46:32 if I should have a husband also tonight
00:46:35 and should also bear songs
00:46:39 so that kind of sounds like the the Jews
00:46:41 at the time of the Messiah right
00:46:45 um
00:46:48 to some degree I mean they were kind of
00:46:50 looking for a husband but at the same
00:46:51 time
00:46:53 um they weren’t at the same time right
00:46:58 um
00:46:59 anyways
00:47:02 so 13
00:47:05 where do you also sorry Terry
00:47:09 for them until they are grown they were
00:47:11 grown
00:47:12 would you stay for them
00:47:15 from having this online
00:47:18 I’m having husbands
00:47:20 and my daughter’s birthday with me
00:47:22 much for your sakes did you want to say
00:47:26 something Josh
00:47:27 yeah this is
00:47:29 pricey this time directly
00:47:32 to
00:47:34 um
00:47:35 the handmaids waiting for the bridegroom
00:47:39 yeah the uh yeah the ten virgins virgins
00:47:44 yeah I would agree because here I mean
00:47:47 would you really wait for the Messiah
00:47:49 because he’s supposed to be the husband
00:47:51 right right
00:47:54 um so I agree with that
00:47:58 and one of them won’t
00:48:00 uh five of them well I’m talking about
00:48:03 here and this oh yeah here yeah but I
00:48:07 think the two daughters represent the
00:48:09 the Church of Satan in the in the Church
00:48:11 of the Messiah right and once again it
00:48:13 represents half and half right uh
00:48:18 though right because I would say though
00:48:20 that the ten virgins itself
00:48:23 I do think is division between the
00:48:27 supposed believers
00:48:29 were yeah
00:48:31 off
00:48:33 the Church of Satan so yes yes
00:48:38 I would agree yeah I’d agree with that
00:48:40 so yeah
00:48:41 I I could see that okay so I think let’s
00:48:44 go 14.
00:48:47 accident I hadn’t finished 13. oh sorry
00:48:50 go finish 13 then sorry okay I know I
00:48:53 cut you off I’m sorry it’s okay
00:48:56 for agree with me much
00:48:58 for your sakes that the hand of the Lord
00:49:00 is gone now against me oh look at this
00:49:03 so the hand of Yahweh was against the
00:49:07 old church the hand of Yahweh
00:49:10 turned against the Jews and rejected
00:49:13 them yeah
00:49:15 as a part of
00:49:18 Daniel 9. yep yep which is also that’s
00:49:23 primarily that is first coming
00:49:25 um so yeah
00:49:29 Okay so 14. and they lifted up with
00:49:32 their voice
00:49:35 to mother-in-law
00:49:39 by Ruth Cliff unto her
00:49:41 I’ll be right back
00:49:44 of them
00:49:55 this is really interesting
00:49:57 as we’re looking at this
00:50:00 well it it it
00:50:03 really does lead Credence to what
00:50:05 Stephen was saying is that orpa really
00:50:08 is representative of the Church of the
00:50:11 devil well the interesting thing orpa
00:50:13 kissed her mother and kissed her
00:50:15 mother-in-law
00:50:17 who else
00:50:20 Judas kissed Christ
00:50:24 I was thinking that too
00:50:33 yeah we were actually just going over
00:50:35 something here it talks about orpah
00:50:38 kissed her mother-in-law who Judas
00:50:41 kissed Jesus Christ to betray him yes
00:50:44 yes yeah in fact just on that point the
00:50:47 reason why Yeshua was like you betrayed
00:50:50 me with the kiss is Big A Kiss is
00:50:53 symbolic of trust yes and so here’s a
00:50:58 sign of that you trust me but then here
00:51:00 you are betraying me but that’s that is
00:51:02 an interesting point it was Judas who
00:51:04 you know
00:51:06 was following Satan that gave Yeshua a
00:51:09 kiss I think that’s a real good point
00:51:11 bringing out yeah
00:51:14 yeah good fine
00:51:17 yeah so um where are we at do I need to
00:51:21 go first uh verse 15. and the whole
00:51:23 thing is and then there’s of course the
00:51:25 last part of that but Ruth clave on to
00:51:28 her
00:51:29 right well and think about it cleaving
00:51:33 unto somebody it’s not just sort of
00:51:35 half-heartedly
00:51:37 let’s hope let’s hold your hands you
00:51:40 know it’s not that it’s like full-on
00:51:43 almost desperation
00:51:46 a big bear hug
00:51:48 yes
00:51:51 it’s just refusing to let go yeah that’s
00:51:55 what it is when you cleave onto
00:51:57 something you are refusing to let it go
00:52:00 right which is when uh Ruth is symbolic
00:52:04 of the Church the true church or the
00:52:06 Church of the firstborn
00:52:08 um yep
00:52:10 they are the ones that cleave unto him
00:52:12 and his ways you’re right yep yep
00:52:18 all right so I guess 15 15 I think
00:52:22 yep
00:52:23 and she said behold thy sister-in-law
00:52:26 has gone back down to her people
00:52:29 not to hurry Gods it turned out after
00:52:33 thy sister-in-law now this to me sounds
00:52:36 like when the Gentiles
00:52:39 or
00:52:40 um
00:52:43 maybe not just the Gentiles but I I
00:52:45 would kind of go with the Gentiles but
00:52:48 in the Gentiles days it was
00:52:50 the Jews or you know the old Jews
00:52:53 they’re like
00:52:56 don’t come do our ways right
00:52:58 yeah
00:53:00 they were kind of angry that they were
00:53:02 actually starting to to believe but I I
00:53:04 so
00:53:06 uh that’s what comes to my mind right
00:53:08 now mainly mainly it’s because the fact
00:53:11 they were no longer can doing those
00:53:14 things which they in their minds
00:53:17 made them look like a peculiar people
00:53:19 anymore so they were no longer peculiar
00:53:21 people because now the Gentiles are
00:53:24 doing what they’re doing they’re no
00:53:25 longer peculiar people people so it’s
00:53:28 actually an active
00:53:31 thought process of
00:53:34 we’re in complete denial that the Lord
00:53:36 has forsaken us like we know that he has
00:53:41 but we don’t want to accept it sure well
00:53:45 in fact um
00:53:46 in an upcoming post if I ever finished I
00:53:49 have multiple quotes from the rabbis
00:53:52 that they know they were being rejected
00:53:54 because the Crimson thread was not
00:53:57 turning white on the day of atonement
00:53:59 for 40 years
00:54:01 after yeshua’s death
00:54:04 before the destruction of the Temple
00:54:07 which goes along with Daniel 9 that we
00:54:09 went over last week right
00:54:11 what goes with I should say goes with
00:54:14 um yeah
00:54:18 okay
00:54:20 so 16.
00:54:27 Andrew said intrigued me not to leave
00:54:29 and leave the
00:54:31 or to return from falling after the
00:54:34 or whether thou goest I will go
00:54:37 where their largest or Iowa launch
00:54:40 hey people should be my people and my
00:54:43 God my God to me that sounds like a true
00:54:46 convert right that to me that’s one of
00:54:50 the most beautiful verses in the entire
00:54:52 book
00:54:53 okay
00:54:54 they were my coach
00:54:58 especially guy Elohim will be my Elohim
00:55:02 right
00:55:03 she’s this convert is recognizing that
00:55:08 the Elohim of the Jews is the true
00:55:12 Elohim
00:55:15 and he and she these converts want to
00:55:19 Lodge
00:55:21 and
00:55:23 that yes and that Yeshua
00:55:27 the son of David and the son of Joseph
00:55:31 is her true Messiah
00:55:45 not Jesus Christ
00:55:48 the Greek Jesus
00:55:58 or yehoshua
00:56:01 or or
00:56:05 there’s several different ways to say it
00:56:07 yeah that’s why sacred neighbors are
00:56:09 just full of crap yeah
00:56:16 let’s use
00:56:19 the name Jesus Lucas that’s because
00:56:22 that’s the other world knows
00:56:25 right right
00:56:29 in the doctor that’s how he’s been
00:56:31 that’s how he’s been peddled to the
00:56:33 world yes
00:56:37 but still the Messiah the messiah’s name
00:56:41 is Yeshua
00:56:43 Yeshua
00:56:48 yeah
00:56:51 I’d love those verses 16 and 17. I mean
00:56:54 it’s just basically
00:56:57 it’s ride or die she’s all in and she is
00:57:02 adopting
00:57:03 yes the law
00:57:06 yeah as her means of
00:57:09 going forward my that’s what it means
00:57:13 thy God my God will be my God and thy
00:57:16 people my people
00:57:18 right I’m crossing over becoming Hebrew
00:57:22 so I I don’t know if this was already
00:57:24 stated but
00:57:25 um on verse 17 where thou Dias will I
00:57:30 die Yeshua talks those who seek after
00:57:33 their own life and shall die and those
00:57:36 who die to their own desires or their
00:57:38 own life they shall live I can see that
00:57:41 right there right yeah yeah and be
00:57:45 buried
00:57:49 because we’re buried unto yeshua’s death
00:57:53 and Resurrection right according to Paul
00:57:55 yeah which I believe he knew what he was
00:58:00 talking about there
00:58:01 all right
00:58:03 um
00:58:08 yeah even you mean the great teacher a
00:58:13 great teacher knew the material he was
00:58:15 teaching
00:58:16 what yeah I I know
00:58:20 um the the prophets and apostles
00:58:23 actually
00:58:24 new things
00:58:26 um and the scriptures are inspired by
00:58:30 Yahweh oh wait I think there’s a verse
00:58:33 in the New Testament about that but what
00:58:34 do I know
00:58:38 um
00:58:39 people should try to justify in making
00:58:42 them go away you’re bringing content
00:58:45 condemnation to yourself when you do
00:58:48 that yep yep um
00:58:50 and you a sinner think you know better
00:58:53 than the scriptures
00:58:55 what makes you considering that you know
00:58:58 you’re a sinner how do you think you
00:58:59 know any better
00:59:01 but anyways I that’s it’s just ironic
00:59:04 some of the things that people say to
00:59:07 get out of believing what’s been
00:59:09 inspired by Yahweh
00:59:12 um
00:59:15 but anyway it’s a rather bizarre form of
00:59:18 bargaining with the price
00:59:20 yeah wow they’re
00:59:25 they’re gonna have a dreadful day that’s
00:59:27 all yeah
00:59:29 I can read some more okay
00:59:31 please
00:59:33 all right
00:59:34 uh when she saw that she was vastly
00:59:38 minded to go with her then she left
00:59:40 speaking with her
00:59:41 steadfast that sounds like diligent
00:59:45 sturdy yes endure to the end well shoot
00:59:49 where are the roots
00:59:52 huh where are the roots
00:59:56 where are the rules as in ruse or those
01:00:00 who are steadfast or rude yes those who
01:00:03 are steadfastly minded oh
01:00:07 okay where are they
01:00:10 well that’s just what I’m I think I
01:00:12 would include us in that but yeah um
01:00:15 that’s what I was just trying to say
01:00:16 it’s the steadfast
01:00:18 the diligent
01:00:21 um AKA Nazarene right anyways
01:00:26 during to the end and during to the end
01:00:29 uh as she
01:00:32 must be so so they too went until they
01:00:35 came to Bethlehem
01:00:37 came to pass when they were coming to
01:00:39 Bethlehem one thing I do want to say on
01:00:42 this and they went into where the
01:00:44 Messiah was born yeah
01:00:47 well that was not less that was
01:00:50 definitely not lost on me okay yeah well
01:00:53 I just I mean we’re just we’re
01:00:55 discussing these things as we’re oh no
01:00:56 no no no yeah and it’s recorded So this
01:00:59 is also for the for the viewing audience
01:01:02 right right
01:01:03 and it came to pass
01:01:05 when they were Come to Bethlehem that
01:01:08 all the city was moved about them and
01:01:10 they said is this Naomi so one thing I
01:01:14 find it interesting they came to
01:01:16 Bethlehem and they were excited for the
01:01:19 convert
01:01:20 yes real Believers want the converts
01:01:24 false believers do not
01:01:27 yeah well it wasn’t it wasn’t just uh
01:01:32 about that it was like they knew her and
01:01:36 they were excited that she was back
01:01:40 yeah she had left before right she had
01:01:43 left oh and this oh come on let’s get to
01:01:45 verse 22. let’s get to verse 22. this is
01:01:48 that one that one is just freaking
01:01:50 awesome okay well let’s do one at a time
01:01:54 here okay
01:01:58 and she said
01:02:00 call me not name
01:02:02 call me Mara
01:02:04 for the almighty hath dealt very
01:02:06 bitterly with me just like Morrow and
01:02:09 The Bitter Water Mara the place of
01:02:10 bitter Waters yeah okay so let’s go look
01:02:14 at
01:02:14 um but I was gonna say yeah I’m curious
01:02:16 now what is the actual meaning of that
01:02:19 bitter bitter means bitter
01:02:24 but we can look it up we can look it up
01:02:26 don’t take my word for it well I I think
01:02:29 it’s good
01:02:31 yeah it’s not that hard it’s not that
01:02:34 hard to go to Bible Hub
01:02:40 yeah so
01:02:42 um okay life is better without the
01:02:44 Messiah right because yeah she was
01:02:47 saying it was bitter not that it is
01:02:50 bitter now right right
01:02:53 and life is bitter without the Messiah
01:02:56 it absolutely is
01:03:00 or was I think yeah or
01:03:04 or has been that time yes
01:03:09 all right I went out full
01:03:12 and the Lord hath brought me home again
01:03:14 empty
01:03:16 why then call ye me Naomi seeing the
01:03:18 Lord hath testified against me and the
01:03:21 almighty hath Afflicted me this goes
01:03:24 straight to Isaiah
01:03:27 verse 21 the lament of Zion
01:03:30 um
01:03:31 well
01:03:32 so because she says why are you calling
01:03:37 me friend right Yahweh has tested it
01:03:40 against me right as in well Naomi means
01:03:45 uh Pleasant that’s Pleasant oh no oh
01:03:48 okay it was Ruth it was friends sorry I
01:03:51 got a little confused that so it’s the
01:03:53 it’s the church coming back saying you
01:03:56 know we’re not worthy we’re not you know
01:03:59 what I’m saying we’re we’re we’re the
01:04:01 Lord had built right
01:04:03 the Lord has dealt with us harshly right
01:04:06 right and he testified against us which
01:04:09 is right why are you calling us
01:04:11 beautiful when we’ve been
01:04:14 afflicted
01:04:15 yeah
01:04:18 so Naomi returned and Ruth the moabitus
01:04:22 her daughter-in-law with her which
01:04:24 returned out of the country of Moab
01:04:27 and they came to Bethlehem in the
01:04:30 beginning
01:04:31 oh
01:04:33 The Barley
01:04:36 harvesting that that connects back to
01:04:39 Passover right yeah and totally connects
01:04:42 this to the second coming the
01:04:44 resurrections
01:04:46 yeah it does
01:04:48 oh that’s awesome
01:04:50 yeah yeah so the old church is coming
01:04:54 back right yes and then there’s there’s
01:04:57 one Church coming wait what what no no
01:05:01 say that again Stephen say that again
01:05:05 the old church is coming back the Jews
01:05:08 say it again the Jews are coming back
01:05:11 and then the Gentiles are coming with
01:05:14 yeah
01:05:15 during well she came out of Babylon
01:05:19 right and came to came to the city of
01:05:22 David
01:05:23 aka the Messiah
01:05:26 this is the city of bread right
01:05:29 Bethlehem is the bread AKA
01:05:33 the flesh the Commandments
01:05:36 in the
01:05:38 in the
01:05:43 that is Passover
01:05:46 yep yes and it’s because of Passover or
01:05:49 what happened on Passover that makes all
01:05:52 this possible Right
01:05:54 this is even more beautiful amazing
01:05:57 yeah
01:05:59 but these high holidays they don’t mean
01:06:02 anything they don’t help us understand
01:06:03 the scriptures we should definitely not
01:06:05 observe them because that is all done no
01:06:09 actually what we should do is we should
01:06:11 go and watch other people observe them
01:06:13 yeah like a museum yeah right
01:06:17 this is what was but it’s passed away
01:06:20 now because because it’s fun yeah I know
01:06:24 because forever means uh only for a
01:06:26 little time right
01:06:28 forever only means for the first 4 000
01:06:31 years of the world’s history the the for
01:06:33 the second tooth out for the but for the
01:06:34 next two thousand years if you do that
01:06:37 you’re following Satan Satan’s
01:06:39 Temptations yeah this is where I just
01:06:42 sing
01:06:45 making good look evil
01:06:48 yeah
01:06:50 and the sad thing is
01:06:52 majority of the world fall for it I just
01:06:55 anyways well it’s one of those things
01:06:58 that has me say and it sounds really
01:07:00 uncharitable when I say it but it has me
01:07:01 say people are morons
01:07:05 yeah well I was there once
01:07:07 um so we need to preach it to hopefully
01:07:09 wait kind of think that’s an oxymoron
01:07:11 but yeah anyways yeah well especially
01:07:15 they’re way less on than than
01:07:17 they are more
01:07:22 uh now Joshua’s being as clever as me
01:07:26 that’s awesome that was that was good
01:07:28 actually
01:07:30 welcome welcome to sickle’s family word
01:07:32 play
01:07:36 um okay so I can read for a little bit
01:07:37 here probably I should probably take a
01:07:40 turn
01:07:41 yeah and Naomi had a Kinsman of her
01:07:45 husband uh so this is in the Kinsmen
01:07:47 Redeemer here right
01:07:49 uh oh my goodness a Kinsman of the
01:07:52 father yeah the Kinsman of the father
01:07:55 a mighty man of so in this I I would
01:08:00 almost has been of her husband would
01:08:03 almost sum up point to uh the father and
01:08:06 the son
01:08:07 yep yeah right yep a mighty man of
01:08:11 wealth connects us to the parable of the
01:08:13 talents yeah it does
01:08:16 um
01:08:17 a family of
01:08:21 the King right and his name was Boaz so
01:08:26 actually now we got to look up Boaz yeah
01:08:28 yeah because I actually I don’t know
01:08:30 what that name means but you’re uh right
01:08:32 on the same wavelength there yep
01:08:36 this story is just working on a whole
01:08:40 new levels
01:08:42 foreign
01:08:46 [Music]
01:08:51 quickness
01:08:53 quickening yeah quickening I would agree
01:08:56 with that yeah
01:08:57 interesting it’s also a pillar before
01:09:01 the temple uh yeah because there’s
01:09:04 that’s actually what that’s actually
01:09:05 that’s actually what and that that’s
01:09:08 actually used to refer to Jesus the
01:09:11 pillar before yes that’s what I’m saying
01:09:13 yeah
01:09:15 [Music]
01:09:16 um
01:09:18 word origin unused well that’s too bad
01:09:23 quickness but quickening I would agree
01:09:25 with that
01:09:26 okay so let’s go so we definitely have
01:09:29 our Messiah type awesome which is the
01:09:33 kinsman redeemer so go ahead Zach it
01:09:35 says Zach what’s up it said it said
01:09:37 ancestor David
01:09:39 and I think
01:09:42 is it Revelation that he says the roots
01:09:46 in Ops man and
01:09:49 what’s an offspring of David or
01:09:51 something
01:09:53 yeah yes
01:09:56 es The Roots
01:09:58 um I and that goes to Isaiah I believe
01:10:01 yeah right revelation 22 16.
01:10:05 I am the root to not in The Offspring of
01:10:08 David
01:10:09 yeah
01:10:10 I am the root in The Offspring wow well
01:10:14 that would definitely make Boaz a type
01:10:16 right yeah absolutely 100
01:10:19 okay so let’s go back here
01:10:25 oh
01:10:27 okay go away menu
01:10:31 and Ruth the friend
01:10:35 all right the who was a pagan set on to
01:10:41 the old the lovely Church yeah yeah
01:10:43 lovely old church let me now go to the
01:10:47 field
01:10:49 and uh
01:10:54 White ready to harvest yep and glean she
01:10:59 is convicted and wants to go out and
01:11:02 share the gospels
01:11:04 she has awakened and arisen
01:11:08 yeah and and glean the ears of corn
01:11:13 um so I I don’t know what corns is
01:11:16 symbolic in the scripture so I I can’t
01:11:18 read that one I don’t know if you guys
01:11:20 know
01:11:22 we use the Gentiles after him in whose
01:11:26 sight I shall find Grace which is Boaz
01:11:30 right yup which is a type of the Messiah
01:11:33 which is where we get Grace
01:11:36 um
01:11:37 and she said under her go my daughter
01:11:41 so you know go get Grace with the
01:11:43 Messiah right right
01:11:46 and she went and came and gleaned in the
01:11:50 field like just getting as little as she
01:11:53 could
01:11:54 because gleaning is where you get the
01:11:56 leftovers right right yep which is kind
01:11:59 of what we have in today’s world right
01:12:02 now right pretty much
01:12:05 yep and so this I I would say this
01:12:08 gleaming would point to the times of the
01:12:10 Gentiles
01:12:12 mm-hmm personally you know which is just
01:12:15 before the wedding that we’ll see
01:12:17 happening in a little bit right yeah
01:12:21 um in the fields after the Reapers
01:12:25 um
01:12:27 the Reapers could be taken a couple ways
01:12:29 right
01:12:31 um and I’m not too solvent so I’m not
01:12:32 going to say too much yeah but it’s uh
01:12:34 well I mean it’s one way clearly that it
01:12:38 can be taken is those
01:12:42 go in and thrust go thrust in your
01:12:44 sickle and reap with your might sure
01:12:48 okay um
01:12:49 and her hap
01:12:52 I don’t know where the hap is do you
01:12:54 guys that’s that by and basically and by
01:12:58 chance it was her and it was it was her
01:13:01 Fortune
01:13:03 to light on the part of the field
01:13:06 okay uh I’ll land on the part of the
01:13:08 field sure so she went to the well here
01:13:11 it’s uh going to the
01:13:14 part of field that belonged onto the
01:13:16 Messiah Boaz
01:13:19 um along those lines I
01:13:22 I feel the same way
01:13:26 right I I grew up a gentile in a
01:13:30 pagan
01:13:31 uh LDS church brighamite church and I
01:13:35 happen to come across the right field
01:13:38 that I didn’t understand when I first
01:13:40 came on to it
01:13:41 yeah I feel the same way as that
01:13:45 um no I do believe it’s Providence of
01:13:48 Yahweh that caused it
01:13:50 but as I was going through it it was
01:13:53 going to happen yeah it was lucky it
01:13:57 happens to lighten to a part of the
01:13:59 field that touched your mind and
01:14:01 yourself for me for me it for me
01:14:06 I don’t know how much of it was
01:14:07 happenstance as it was just
01:14:13 I felt guided to be there
01:14:18 well I I think mine was
01:14:20 multiple things I I I did Yahweh put my
01:14:24 heart to go look into more
01:14:27 it wasn’t like I was groping it wasn’t
01:14:30 like I was groping around blindly I was
01:14:32 praying
01:14:34 I’ll I prayed a lot was receiving
01:14:38 inspiration which pointed me in this
01:14:41 direction
01:14:42 and I my happenstance was that I
01:14:46 happened to follow it
01:14:48 mine was kind of finding it because mine
01:14:51 was kind of situational it could be
01:14:55 because many people have run into are
01:14:58 you saying if you understand if you
01:15:01 understand what uh if you knew when you
01:15:03 know me you’ll understand exactly how
01:15:05 much I was telling the truth there
01:15:08 um that it was happenstance that I
01:15:10 actually obeyed something from somebody
01:15:12 else
01:15:16 you want to elaborate more or no I’m
01:15:19 just I’m just a very independent person
01:15:22 oh yeah yes a yes that’s that’s good
01:15:26 just leave it at that yeah
01:15:31 I’m
01:15:33 but when the but when but I’ll tell you
01:15:37 the blessings of being obedient have
01:15:40 made me much more
01:15:42 willing to do so
01:15:46 right sure so but here here is like
01:15:50 Boaz is like the sun and the husband is
01:15:55 the King which would be more like the
01:15:57 father right right so the sun yep going
01:16:02 back to the kinman Kinsmen Redeemer yeah
01:16:07 which Boaz ends up being right yes
01:16:10 that’s correct
01:16:13 [Music]
01:16:13 um
01:16:14 poor and behold Boaz came from Bethlehem
01:16:19 and said unto the real you know he was
01:16:21 born in Bethlehem right and said unto
01:16:23 the Reapers Yahweh be with you and they
01:16:27 answered and said Yahweh bless thee yeah
01:16:30 these the this is these are actually two
01:16:33 common greetings in Hebrew right so the
01:16:36 main thing I could bring out here is a
01:16:39 lot of people
01:16:41 Hebrew rooters they get it from the
01:16:43 Pharisees that you’re not supposed to
01:16:45 speak in yahweh’s name
01:16:47 and here is in Ruth that they’re
01:16:49 greeting each other with
01:16:51 yahweh’s name
01:16:53 with the name of with the name of yeah
01:16:57 in this uh all capture is showing that
01:17:00 that’s Yahweh this this is not Adonai
01:17:03 yes this is Yahweh
01:17:04 yes
01:17:06 um so anyways we don’t have to go look
01:17:09 at the preference of the King James but
01:17:11 that’s this is all caps Lord this is
01:17:14 Yahweh well it’s all caps for a good
01:17:16 reason
01:17:17 well I know but a lot of people don’t
01:17:19 know but well yeah yeah that’s true
01:17:21 that’s actually all caps Lord for a very
01:17:23 bad reason the ineffable name Doctrine
01:17:26 that’s a very bad yeah I agree but I
01:17:29 mean this is what it points to and here
01:17:31 right right to greet each other with it
01:17:34 right
01:17:35 yeah it’s a false questions that you
01:17:37 can’t speak it
01:17:39 yeah
01:17:40 and this is from the Hebrew Bible
01:17:43 right here yes right anyways enough of
01:17:46 that
01:17:47 then said Boaz unto his servant
01:17:52 um that was set over the Reapers right
01:17:55 okay so this would be the son and his
01:17:58 prophet
01:17:59 uh sent over those who are reaping right
01:18:03 um
01:18:05 whose damsel is this oh this is
01:18:08 beautiful look he’s talking about the
01:18:12 reaping and the damsel
01:18:14 you know someone be coming into the
01:18:16 church which is reaping is all about
01:18:18 that’s beautiful yeah yes he just he
01:18:21 brought it full circle in just one one
01:18:24 short sentence one question yeah
01:18:29 that’s awesome
01:18:30 yeah
01:18:32 and the servant that was sent over the
01:18:35 reaper so this would be like the prophet
01:18:38 right
01:18:39 answered and said it is the
01:18:42 it’s the Pagan it’s the Pagan damsel the
01:18:45 Pagan woman
01:18:47 they came back you know the one that
01:18:49 came they came back with the Pleasant
01:18:50 Church out of the country out of the
01:18:52 country of Babylon yeah so like
01:18:54 missionary work there go on right
01:18:58 um
01:18:59 and she said I pray you let me glean
01:19:04 just let me have a little bit right that
01:19:08 reminds me of the mother
01:19:15 the mother inside
01:19:19 who is a uh
01:19:21 who is a Phoenician not a Hebrew
01:19:25 and asks Jesus for a miracle
01:19:28 and her and when he tells her that he’s
01:19:30 sent to feed
01:19:32 the children
01:19:34 and her response is
01:19:38 yes but even the dogs can hope to gain
01:19:41 the crumbs
01:19:43 that I was thinking the exact same thing
01:19:47 um yeah
01:19:49 exactly
01:19:53 and she said I pray oh let me I just
01:19:56 read that and she continued from the
01:19:59 morning until now that she carried a
01:20:03 little
01:20:03 in the house
01:20:06 um so
01:20:08 she’s gleaning and wants to be in the
01:20:10 house of Yahweh that’s what I get done
01:20:13 yep
01:20:15 then said bawas unto Ruth
01:20:19 Hearst thou not my daughter
01:20:23 go not to glean in another field neither
01:20:26 go from his but abide here fast by my
01:20:31 maiden so
01:20:33 stay with the true teachings
01:20:36 right yep don’t glean any don’t clean in
01:20:40 any other fields it’s like it’s in the
01:20:43 law don’t plant plant don’t plant plants
01:20:47 and don’t plant certain plants next to
01:20:50 each other well so I think that one’s a
01:20:52 little different so I think the reason
01:20:56 for example the wheat and the tares
01:20:58 let’s talk about the New Testament
01:21:01 um
01:21:02 you can’t tell them apart
01:21:04 and so I believe that law about
01:21:06 deception
01:21:08 yeah okay
01:21:11 um
01:21:13 you don’t plant two things together that
01:21:15 look the same and then go try to sell it
01:21:18 as the one because that is yeah yeah I
01:21:22 see
01:21:23 um but I do think there’s other things
01:21:25 that go along with it but I do think
01:21:28 that’s the main reason for the law is
01:21:31 tell the truth do not lie
01:21:34 don’t bear a false witness
01:21:40 there’s multiple other places where the
01:21:43 Lord says
01:21:45 don’t do as the heathens do don’t glean
01:21:48 from the other fields correct don’t
01:21:50 don’t do as the pagans do right
01:21:53 especially after their false way of
01:21:56 worshiping their faults yeah especially
01:21:58 especially not after their false
01:22:00 Christmas I mean um
01:22:02 did you mean Easter yes and Chris oh
01:22:05 that’s the worst one
01:22:12 um anyways all right let’s
01:22:16 yeah we’re hitting a lot of sacred cows
01:22:19 there yeah
01:22:21 but don’t movie movie
01:22:25 [Music]
01:22:28 anyway carry on
01:22:38 um blood thine eyes so eyes is symbolic
01:22:41 of desires
01:22:43 be on the field on my field right have
01:22:48 your desire about
01:22:50 um my ways not other people’s ways in
01:22:54 fact just on that point the pluck out
01:22:56 thy eye from the servant of the mount
01:22:59 is saying get rid of your bad desires
01:23:03 yeah well there’s another rendition of
01:23:08 it which is talking about
01:23:10 get rid of your bad leaders
01:23:12 because your eye is the light is that
01:23:15 what you look to for a light
01:23:18 now I can see that I can see that
01:23:21 um
01:23:23 it’s in the Joseph Smith translation I
01:23:26 believe it’s either I believe it is the
01:23:30 um
01:23:33 I don’t think it’s the Matthew version
01:23:35 of it but it may be from
01:23:39 it may be the way the version of it
01:23:41 that’s taught in Mark uh so I think
01:23:44 especially if the jsts are a little
01:23:46 different there I would wonder if those
01:23:47 are actually different sermons but
01:23:49 anyways that’s another discussion
01:23:51 yeah that’s a yeah that is another
01:23:53 that’s another that isn’t it because I I
01:23:56 don’t know
01:23:57 I I haven’t seen yahweh’s mortal
01:23:59 Ministry but I I know what I’ve done
01:24:02 I’ve taught the same basic ideas
01:24:04 different ways to different people
01:24:05 myself yeah that’s true that’s true uh
01:24:09 I’m sure you have been
01:24:11 oh
01:24:12 many times
01:24:14 I I always I actually do try to get I
01:24:19 actually do try to gauge my audience to
01:24:21 try to figure out what’s going to get
01:24:22 how how to get the message to them right
01:24:25 so I I I I am inclined to think those
01:24:29 are different
01:24:31 um sermons even though there’s different
01:24:33 sermons
01:24:35 that’s just
01:24:37 um anyways all right yeah no I I mean no
01:24:40 I can see that I’m I’m not worth arguing
01:24:43 about yeah yeah well I I know I’m just
01:24:45 saying let’s go on yeah let’s move on
01:24:48 let us move on that’s right the young
01:24:51 men that they should not touch the
01:24:55 um
01:24:56 when thou art
01:25:03 yeah that one’s thirsty go on to the
01:25:06 vessels
01:25:07 and drink of that which the young men
01:25:09 have drawn that sounds kind of reminds
01:25:11 me of the woman at the well right yep
01:25:14 [Music]
01:25:15 um
01:25:16 so
01:25:18 I’m not sure what to do with this first
01:25:20 part though have I not charged young men
01:25:22 that they shall not touch thee uh you
01:25:25 know this one might be a rhetorical
01:25:26 question meaning I told the servants
01:25:29 to watch after you which would go
01:25:32 um like how the prophets go off and you
01:25:34 know try to teach you
01:25:35 because this is this sounds more like a
01:25:38 rhetorical question possibly right yeah
01:25:42 I could go with that well at least
01:25:44 that’s how I’m seeing it right now
01:25:46 myself but anyway right and and it’s
01:25:49 also it and it also shows the protective
01:25:52 nature of Yahweh over
01:25:56 those who would over the over his church
01:25:58 and those who would be his church
01:26:00 yeah yeah
01:26:03 exactly those who keep the Commandments
01:26:05 right because right and those and those
01:26:09 who are learning the Commandments to
01:26:11 keep them
01:26:14 and then she fell on her face like Moses
01:26:16 did for praying
01:26:18 [Music]
01:26:20 about herself herself to the ground and
01:26:23 said unto him why have I found Grace in
01:26:26 thy eyes
01:26:27 that’s what we should say to the Messiah
01:26:30 just like in in prayer right that thou
01:26:33 should just take knowledge of me
01:26:36 seeing I am a stranger a Wanderer
01:26:41 all right we’re a sinner or a sinner or
01:26:45 a sinner that sounds exactly
01:26:49 um
01:26:50 what we should be doing in fact uh
01:26:55 UE Lehigh’s tree Life vision right he
01:26:57 spelled and bowed he fell on his face at
01:27:01 the tree at the foot of the tree
01:27:04 and Boaz is representative of the
01:27:07 Messiah here or the tree
01:27:09 yeah the Tree of Life
01:27:13 so because I am a sinner and in fact
01:27:16 that sounds like uh like Peter right at
01:27:18 the boat when he was called
01:27:21 I’m a sinner depart from me
01:27:24 all right
01:27:25 yep you want to read something Ben
01:27:29 and Boaz answered and said unto her it
01:27:32 hath been fully showed me
01:27:34 all that thou has done unto thy
01:27:36 mother-in-law
01:27:37 since the death of thy husband
01:27:40 and how though has left thy father and
01:27:43 thy mother and the land of thy Nativity
01:27:45 and are come unto a people which thou
01:27:48 knewest not heretofore
01:27:51 um
01:27:52 well I can see symbolism the Lord
01:27:55 the Lord recompense thy Work
01:28:00 and a full reward
01:28:02 be given thee of the of Yahweh
01:28:09 Elohim of Israel
01:28:12 under whose wings Thou Art come to trust
01:28:18 yeah
01:28:21 the wings are symbolic of power and
01:28:24 Yahweh will put us under his wings right
01:28:31 no but that’s beautiful right there yeah
01:28:35 and this also goes about how we’re
01:28:38 rewarded for our work right as in yeah
01:28:41 the three different glories I think yeah
01:28:45 and then and then it’s a recompense for
01:28:48 the work
01:28:49 and the work comes because
01:28:52 we we want to we want to be obedient and
01:28:55 we’ve come to trust in the power of our
01:29:00 Our God Elohim Yahweh you know well
01:29:03 let’s let’s actually delve into the into
01:29:05 the relationships that are here in this
01:29:08 Parable or in this history to more fully
01:29:12 understand what he’s talking about
01:29:15 all that thou has done unto thy
01:29:18 mother-in-law since the death of thine
01:29:20 husband
01:29:22 the old church
01:29:24 [Music]
01:29:26 the Gentiles crossing over
01:29:29 valuing it cleaving to
01:29:32 the law
01:29:34 and how thou Hast left thy father and
01:29:37 thy mother in the land of thineativity
01:29:39 we’ve left our old families we’ve left
01:29:43 our old relationships
01:29:46 to come and this you know could even go
01:29:48 on to
01:29:50 um Genesis to cleave unto thy wife or
01:29:53 thy husband right right which goes on
01:29:57 how Boaz
01:29:59 is about to become her husband
01:30:04 the Messiah right right and art and art
01:30:09 come unto a people which thou newest not
01:30:13 here too
01:30:15 and how many how many of us
01:30:19 when we began this exploration could we
01:30:21 could describe
01:30:24 God’s religion in this way
01:30:27 that we knew it not heretofore
01:30:31 well looking back
01:30:36 um
01:30:37 back then I thought I knew it but I know
01:30:41 now I definitely know I did not right
01:30:43 yep
01:30:44 [Music]
01:30:45 exactly in fact just to go along with
01:30:48 that my favorite song
01:30:51 from my mission on was
01:30:54 um
01:30:54 one of the talking about
01:30:56 wanting to know the Messiah
01:31:01 it’s not my favorite song Anymore
01:31:05 meaning I’ve come to know him
01:31:08 mm-hmm
01:31:10 and you can come to know him
01:31:13 this is the recompense for the and that
01:31:16 is the recompense for our work yeah
01:31:20 that we come to know him
01:31:24 yeah and the full reward is given to us
01:31:34 all right so maybe all we have to do all
01:31:36 we have to do is be roof and not orpha
01:31:44 and for real and not just telling
01:31:47 ourselves that but right
01:31:50 um there’s a lot in oppa that think they
01:31:53 are Ruth when they’re really not
01:31:55 because they’re they’re doing all these
01:31:59 Pagan ways that the law actually speaks
01:32:02 out against but because they’re churches
01:32:05 no but it’s okay they think it is
01:32:07 but if you slap the name of Jesus on it
01:32:10 it’s not Pagan no more
01:32:13 um yeah that’s not what the law says
01:32:15 yeah
01:32:18 baptized that
01:32:22 you’re you’re still in your deception
01:32:24 and you’re still on the uh
01:32:33 13.
01:32:39 okay I think you’re reading Ben
01:32:41 oh it’s my turn that’s right yeah then
01:32:44 she said let me find favor in nice sight
01:32:47 my Lord
01:32:50 for that thou Hast comforted me
01:32:53 and for that thou has spoken friendly
01:32:54 unto thine handmaid though I be not like
01:32:58 unto one of thine handmaidens
01:33:01 so I I mean not married yet right thank
01:33:05 you for showing me friendship and
01:33:07 comfort like you know uh
01:33:10 giving her peace like uh when yes was
01:33:14 talking to the disciples Apostles right
01:33:16 well honestly and honestly
01:33:22 I think that’s talking about
01:33:23 justification
01:33:26 it’s talking about what you find favor
01:33:28 in thy sight for thou Hast comforted me
01:33:33 justification uh yeah I can see
01:33:35 justification and then look it’s talking
01:33:38 about
01:33:39 sanctification after because yes you
01:33:42 comforted me but I’m not one of your
01:33:43 handmaidens yet right right so I I can
01:33:47 yeah I see that justification and
01:33:50 sanctification right there the dynamic
01:33:53 there yeah yeah
01:33:56 interesting
01:33:58 because it’s those of the firstborn or
01:34:00 those who are sanctified
01:34:01 according to DNC 76 the celestial
01:34:05 they’re the Church of the firstborn
01:34:08 right the only the Church of the
01:34:10 firstborn those who receive this
01:34:11 Celestial Glory but when we first start
01:34:14 we’re not we’re just comforted or
01:34:16 Justified
01:34:17 right which gives us comfort as Ben’s
01:34:21 bringing out
01:34:22 but then we
01:34:24 uh if you’re really that you know you
01:34:26 need to go continue on more right but
01:34:29 she’s showing their worth there and
01:34:32 going up to things so many people stop
01:34:34 at their justification thinking that
01:34:37 everything that they need yeah
01:34:40 um
01:34:41 and I think some of it is because of the
01:34:43 lies that they’re told
01:34:46 um
01:34:47 but yeah I do think a lot of the people
01:34:49 get Justified and they stop there they
01:34:51 think they’re good
01:34:53 well and then except that they then
01:34:56 accept that oftentimes they
01:34:59 the interesting thing is is that many of
01:35:01 these people then actually go back you
01:35:03 can’t because you can’t you can’t
01:35:05 actually stop
01:35:06 you’re either going forward or you’re
01:35:08 going back
01:35:09 I agree and there’s some that get
01:35:11 Justified that then get unjustified
01:35:14 yeah unjustify themselves
01:35:17 yeah
01:35:18 um and that’s part of the reason why you
01:35:21 need to endure to the end but anyways
01:35:23 yep one saved always saved is a false
01:35:25 teaching from Satan
01:35:28 that is a false Doctrine
01:35:32 that is a false lie
01:35:38 speaking of contradiction in terms
01:35:43 I’m actually quoting a movie I know
01:35:50 here we go
01:35:54 okay you want to go off 14
01:35:57 and Below has said on her at Meal Time
01:35:59 Come Thou hither and eat a bread this is
01:36:03 interesting so the Messiah
01:36:05 Covenant time Meal Time
01:36:09 I’m sitting down and partaking of a meal
01:36:11 together symbolic of having a covenant
01:36:13 that’s part of sacrament
01:36:16 is eating and covening together
01:36:20 yep yep and eat of the bread and dip thy
01:36:24 morsel in the vinegar so this is the
01:36:27 Commandments and also the the atonement
01:36:31 and joy right yep
01:36:34 and she sat beside the Reapers and he
01:36:36 reached her park and he reached her
01:36:38 parched corn
01:36:39 and she didn’t eat and was sufficed and
01:36:43 left
01:36:44 well she was filled
01:36:46 yeah
01:36:47 I I wish I knew what corn was in the
01:36:51 Scriptures it was symbolic of I that’s
01:36:53 just one I don’t know
01:36:56 um yeah because it does keep saying corn
01:36:59 yeah this is specifically corn
01:37:03 yeah at least the second time
01:37:06 um so maybe let’s Sidetrack a little bit
01:37:08 let’s go look up corn just out of
01:37:10 curiosity
01:37:11 let’s see
01:37:14 let’s see what this guy says about corn
01:37:17 let’s see if they have corn in here
01:37:24 yeah
01:37:26 hopefully it doesn’t take too long to go
01:37:28 to corn
01:37:33 ER
01:37:44 and circumcision
01:37:49 cloud
01:37:51 hitting somewhere
01:37:55 I think he passed it I might have
01:37:59 foreign
01:38:17 all right
01:38:18 well let’s do this then
01:38:26 that’s where we were
01:38:29 individuals as well as Nations go into
01:38:31 Exile such as idyllic story of Ruth
01:38:35 although the English poet John Keynes
01:38:38 pictured her as a sick sick a sick for
01:38:42 home amid the alien corn
01:38:46 the focus of the biblical story instead
01:38:48 of on which Ruth
01:38:50 found acceptance for fallen culture and
01:38:53 religion is the happiest of exalty
01:38:55 that’s not too helpful I don’t think
01:39:00 um
01:39:01 although the prophet Isaiah said of the
01:39:04 People Israel they are
01:39:06 the shoot I have planted despite this
01:39:09 Israel was not faithful to Elohim and
01:39:12 this too is described with allusions to
01:39:15 growth I plant you like a choice Vine as
01:39:18 sound and reliable stock how will you
01:39:20 turn against me into corruption old wild
01:39:24 Vine even then they could return the
01:39:27 Hosea this is what Yahweh said unto
01:39:30 Israel returning seeking forgiveness
01:39:33 I will be like the dude Israel he will
01:39:37 Blossom like a lily like a cedar Libyan
01:39:40 and he sent down his roots his young
01:39:44 girl he was splendor
01:39:48 be like a an olive tree his
01:39:51 fragrance like a cedar lydian Libyan men
01:39:55 will dwell again in his shade he will
01:39:59 flourish like corn
01:40:01 he will be awesome like a bunny so corn
01:40:05 here is being used positively in that
01:40:07 verse right
01:40:10 um but and this is not really helping me
01:40:13 you know what it means I don’t think did
01:40:16 you guys get what it is I think that I I
01:40:19 think the first thing about the dream
01:40:21 think about Pharaoh’s dream right
01:40:25 his first dream is about ears of corn
01:40:29 right or is that the second the second
01:40:31 drink the second one
01:40:34 huh yeah here’s interesting but okay but
01:40:37 on that point the first one were cows
01:40:40 and that did cows have to do with the
01:40:43 Messiah
01:40:44 right and if both the dreams of the cow
01:40:48 and the corn was of the same thing I
01:40:51 wonder if corn has to do with the
01:40:53 Messiah
01:40:54 well it has to do with grain it has to
01:40:57 do with harvests and with it has to do
01:41:00 with the in this instance in this
01:41:03 particular story it has to do with
01:41:04 Harvest
01:41:05 and Grains yes
01:41:08 so one could safely assume that the
01:41:11 barley Harvest and the wheat Harvest are
01:41:13 both corn
01:41:16 by possibility by this by this
01:41:20 definition
01:41:21 hmm
01:41:24 because
01:41:27 grain wheat
01:41:29 synonymous porn
01:41:34 so that’s actually more helpful than you
01:41:36 think
01:41:38 yeah I I can kind of see that
01:41:42 um
01:41:42 but why but then why does it
01:41:46 specifically State corn over and over
01:41:50 and over and over again throughout the
01:41:52 story of Ruth and not intermittent
01:41:54 intermingled it with grains and stuff
01:41:58 like that actually it does
01:42:00 it yes because there’s sometimes it says
01:42:05 corn sometimes it says she was behind
01:42:06 the men gleaning grain
01:42:13 and when the apostles
01:42:16 and when the apostles are gleaning in
01:42:18 the fields being okayed by Yeshua
01:42:22 as that’s an acceptable thing to do on
01:42:25 the Sabbath
01:42:26 they’re cleaning corn
01:42:33 I’ll have to check that a minute so here
01:42:35 this according to this site
01:42:42 so fertility could be bringing forth uh
01:42:46 converts right because right you’re
01:42:48 creating a new son or daughter which is
01:42:52 symbolic of followers Prosperity enjoy
01:42:55 so I can see that
01:42:59 [Music]
01:42:59 um
01:43:00 prosperity and joy
01:43:05 survival
01:43:07 okay I can see that here
01:43:11 uh
01:43:14 coming visitor okay
01:43:19 hmm
01:43:21 maze
01:43:24 anyways
01:43:25 I can see those there’s possibilities I
01:43:29 I do know
01:43:31 um
01:43:32 it corn has its negative aspects as yes
01:43:35 yes a little bit here also and
01:43:38 um
01:43:39 Pagan ceremonies
01:43:45 stuff there yeah um
01:43:48 [Music]
01:43:49 so there’s good and bad so on the one
01:43:53 that Matt was given the fact that given
01:43:55 the fact that
01:43:56 um
01:43:57 okay your your Bible concordance quotes
01:44:01 corn equates corn with grain
01:44:05 the one that you just showed us there uh
01:44:08 yeah that was uh the one about imagery
01:44:11 and what have you yeah
01:44:13 right so does the you know for what for
01:44:18 everything you know I know we don’t like
01:44:20 the I know nobody here likes the topical
01:44:22 guide at all
01:44:24 uh it has some good for the footnotes
01:44:26 it’s they’re not perfect that’s for sure
01:44:28 they’re not perfect but here
01:44:32 the footnote backs up what your biblical
01:44:34 backs up the same equivalency that
01:44:38 you’re uh
01:44:39 biblical psychology guide
01:44:42 has drawn
01:44:44 and so I think that
01:44:47 the word corn is just being used to
01:44:50 represent grain and that could be yeah
01:44:57 okay so so what Matt brings up let’s go
01:45:01 look
01:45:03 there
01:45:05 um on the gleaning on the Sabbath
01:45:07 so that’s at least one instance of it if
01:45:11 there’s not others is Mark 2 23-28
01:45:17 um so I can read it and it came to pass
01:45:20 that he went through the corn oh it is
01:45:22 cornfields on the Sabbath day and his
01:45:25 disciples began as they went to pluck
01:45:27 the ears of corn and the Pharisees said
01:45:29 unto him behold they do on the Sabbath
01:45:32 day which is not lawful which that’s not
01:45:34 the case because the law actually says
01:45:36 they can glean and this is what they’re
01:45:38 doing it’s just it’s not according to
01:45:41 their oral law right anyways
01:45:44 is that they put hedges around the law
01:45:46 which which basically means for those
01:45:49 who don’t know they made the law harder
01:45:51 than what it was supposed to be yep
01:45:53 they never read what David did okay so
01:45:57 but anyways the main thing here it was
01:45:59 corn
01:46:01 so yeah
01:46:03 for some reason I was thinking it was
01:46:04 wheat
01:46:05 um but yeah here it is it’s corn
01:46:08 yeah but yeah I I still think that it’s
01:46:11 uh
01:46:15 there’s there’s another telling of it
01:46:16 which says that it was Colonel’s dudes
01:46:19 just says kernels of grain
01:46:22 uh okay so but that would be with a
01:46:24 going back and forth using corn and
01:46:26 grain right yeah corn and grain yep
01:46:30 so maybe that’s why I was thinking it
01:46:31 was we we
01:46:33 um we can go look into that reference or
01:46:36 we can go on back to Ruth
01:46:38 back to Ruth personally let’s try and
01:46:41 finish something
01:46:42 what
01:46:44 I know
01:46:46 no
01:46:47 are you implying I don’t finish put my
01:46:50 posts there
01:46:54 a subtle shot a subtle shot oh yeah oh
01:46:58 yeah don’t worry if you missed that if
01:47:01 you missed that shot then um
01:47:03 yeah don’t worry Stephen it was a shot
01:47:07 up here enough I mean across your nose
01:47:09 across here
01:47:12 well I know you guys like them when I do
01:47:14 finish them I do try yes absolutely yes
01:47:17 anyways
01:47:19 um Okay so
01:47:22 I think we just finished 14 right yes
01:47:25 yes
01:47:26 you were talking about at meal time time
01:47:29 to
01:47:30 partake of Brett and particular Bread
01:47:32 and Wine bring time to um and so she did
01:47:37 that or took of Covenants
01:47:40 and Commandments was filled and left
01:47:44 wow
01:47:45 and when she
01:47:48 and when she was risen up to glean Boaz
01:47:50 commanded his young man and his young
01:47:53 men saying let her glean even among the
01:47:56 sheaves
01:47:57 and reproach her not
01:48:00 so Goma among the other members is what
01:48:04 I would do in that right yep or be start
01:48:06 to be part of the church right yep
01:48:10 I trust her
01:48:12 and let fall also some of the handfuls
01:48:16 of purpose for her
01:48:18 and leave them that she may glean them
01:48:20 and rebuke her not
01:48:23 and so give her more
01:48:25 she’s she’s
01:48:27 accepting what I’m giving her give her
01:48:29 more
01:48:30 yeah yeah
01:48:31 just like when we show our acceptance of
01:48:36 what he gives us by keeping it he then
01:48:38 gives us more right yep yes so she
01:48:42 gleaned in the field until even and beat
01:48:44 out what she had gleaned and it was
01:48:46 about an IFA
01:48:48 of barley that’s uh
01:48:51 so this is where you know you even The
01:48:55 Barley or even the celestial blower
01:48:58 people with Celestial Glory still need
01:49:00 to get tested and
01:49:03 um
01:49:04 because uh things taken out of them
01:49:08 right because they yeah well the beating
01:49:11 of the bar the beating of The Barley can
01:49:13 that can be accomplished with air alone
01:49:16 correct yes
01:49:18 um it can but I think this is just more
01:49:20 what’s bringing out that um even The
01:49:22 Barley needs to be
01:49:24 um perfected or even yeah that’s
01:49:26 actually people need to still yeah
01:49:29 even Celestial people need to have uh
01:49:32 trials and tribulation
01:49:36 and then
01:49:37 and she took it up and went into the
01:49:39 City and her and her mother-in-law saw
01:49:41 that what she had gleaned and she
01:49:43 brought forth and gave to her that she
01:49:45 had reserved after she was sufficed
01:49:50 so up to the city that’s like going to
01:49:53 Jerusalem and the Mother-in-law was
01:49:55 happy for it
01:49:58 and what I see here
01:50:01 is now
01:50:03 the Gentiles are feeding the mother
01:50:06 Church yes ah yeah yeah yeah because
01:50:13 the Jews will return after they they get
01:50:16 jealous of the Gentiles right yeah all
01:50:20 right
01:50:22 um yeah good point
01:50:25 but that never is going to happen while
01:50:27 the Gentiles are busy telling the Jews
01:50:30 that the law that they received from God
01:50:32 was is bogus uh yeah yeah yeah
01:50:37 not gonna happen yeah
01:50:41 um they need to keep the law first yes
01:50:47 all right
01:50:48 and and her mother-in-law said unto her
01:50:51 where has stopped glean today and where
01:50:54 artists thou Blessed Be he that did take
01:50:56 knowledge of Thee and she showed her
01:50:59 mother-in-law with whom she had wrought
01:51:01 and said the man’s name with whom I
01:51:03 wrote Today is Boaz and look what I got
01:51:06 from the Messiah that I shared to you
01:51:09 yeah pretty much
01:51:13 because that’s the old jerks that’s the
01:51:15 old church sitting there saying oh my
01:51:18 gosh this is like awesome where where
01:51:20 did you get this from right
01:51:23 um
01:51:24 you might know him it’s this guy named
01:51:26 Boaz you know savior the guy that you
01:51:30 crucified Kinsmen Kinsmen to your
01:51:33 husband
01:51:33 this guy
01:51:35 yeah and then look at the response
01:51:39 and Naomi said to her daughter-in-law
01:51:41 Blessed Be he of Yahweh
01:51:43 who hath not left off his kindness to
01:51:46 the living and to the dead and Naomi
01:51:49 said unto her the man is of near kin
01:51:52 unto us one of our next Kinsmen
01:51:55 oh that’s beautiful so they recognize
01:51:58 they recognize and they
01:52:03 it even kind of just like says Yahweh
01:52:06 right yeah he be of Yahweh or he is
01:52:10 Yahweh because that’s what Boaz is
01:52:12 representing he’s our Kinsmen Redeemer
01:52:14 it’s the old church realizing
01:52:18 waking up starting to wake up and
01:52:21 realize
01:52:22 that they’re not totally forsaken yeah
01:52:26 yeah that’s what it is
01:52:28 mm-hmm
01:52:29 and Roots the and Ruth the moabitus the
01:52:33 pagan
01:52:34 the Pagan Gentile
01:52:36 said he said unto me also Thou shalt
01:52:40 keep fast by my young men until they
01:52:42 have ended all my Harvest
01:52:44 so the young men’s are going to be the
01:52:46 prophets right yes and until the end of
01:52:51 my Harvest which is the there’s two ways
01:52:54 I could take that
01:52:55 um one I would probably more with what
01:52:58 the rest of this uh history points to is
01:53:01 going to be the second coming right
01:53:02 right because it could be the second
01:53:04 coming or the end of the world or
01:53:09 um well end of the world could be second
01:53:11 coming but I mean the end of the seventh
01:53:13 millennium
01:53:14 but I because of the what this
01:53:16 General history is being a parable for
01:53:19 us we go more of the second coming
01:53:22 yep yeah
01:53:24 and Naomi said unto Ruth her
01:53:26 daughter-in-law is good my daughter
01:53:29 that they’ll go out with his maidens
01:53:31 that they meet thee not in any other
01:53:33 field
01:53:36 yeah just so here
01:53:39 go ahead so here we have the old church
01:53:43 acknowledging its kinship
01:53:46 with the Gentiles
01:53:48 yeah yep
01:53:53 so she kept faster oh sorry I was going
01:53:56 to read the last one and she kept fast
01:53:57 by the maidens of Boaz to glean onto the
01:54:00 end of The Barley Harvest
01:54:03 and of the wheat Harvest oh wow I dealt
01:54:06 with her mother-in-law oh look at this
01:54:09 The Barley with her mother-in-law
01:54:13 um if we are not dwelling in the law
01:54:21 we’re not Ruth right yeah yeah because
01:54:24 it’s it didn’t go up to the grape
01:54:26 Harvest because those are the ones that
01:54:28 are crossed that didn’t keep it right
01:54:29 yeah and that’s not by accident wow
01:54:35 wow okay so I’m gonna pause
