Summary:
Going to expound Proverbs 29. Proverbs are generalities that were written by Solomon while in good terms with YHWH, who was the wisest king who was not a prophet. Israel kings did hold the Melchizedek Priesthood for a period of time, many of them did not keep it. A fool is someone who does not believe in YHWH. Don’t reprove to much. People want justice done, which is just restoration. The righteous love YHWH. Judges are not to take bribes. Flattery is not on solid ground. The righteous will always have YHWH peace. We are to help the poor. Wise men help. Don’t argue with a foolish person. Wickedness needs weak somewhat righteous people. Think before you speak. Abraham did marry his sister, as sister was used in his time. Find a good teacher who keeps Torah. People follow what their leaders are doing. YHWH gives the light of Christ, Torah, to all adults. YHWH’s throne is forever. God comes from Elohim, which means judge. A wicked child brings shame to their mothers. We are justified and sanctified by Torah or condemned by Torah. The righteous will see the fall of the wicked. Teachers delight when students grow. YHWH’s Torah gives shows you how to be happy. We need to teach by example in addition to words. Be careful with your words. Honor the free will of servants. Wicked men will do what they want. There is righteous anger. The prideful are punished, the humble are brought to YHWH. Keeping Torah is the source of YHWH’s power, which is His honor. Multiple Mortal Probations has issues with the word forever. Infinity symbol goes back to Satan. Verse 24 is talking about secret combinations. The sons of perdition will be stoned to the center of the earth. Korah was seeking to take down YHWH’s anointed leader. Who ever the Mighty and Strong One is, please listen to him. Truth should be your authority. Don’t trust in the arm of flesh. Mighty and Strong One gets to go to the throne of YHWH during the 3.5 days after his murder. Exalted is a better translation for verse 25. First we have a desire to repent, we then are baptized to show that desire to the whole world, and then if it was done sincerely YHWH will give us the justification which is also known as the baptism of fire. YHWH’s righteous judges, judge according to Torah. The wicked hate the righteous. YHWH hates who is okay with their sins. You can repent until you can die, or hope for a Lazarus event.

00:00:00 don’t worry I
00:00:03 will now uh this is a pro we’re going to
00:00:08 be going over Proverbs 29 uh Z Zach
00:00:13 requested that we do so um now as to
00:00:18 what as to as to now the thing that you
00:00:21 need to realize about the Proverbs is
00:00:22 these are wisdom literature were written
00:00:25 by the wisest man of his time no okay so
00:00:29 I’m gonna clarify so it’s like gr of
00:00:32 thumbs they’re not absolute these are
00:00:34 generalities right the jst actually
00:00:37 specifies he
00:00:40 was the wisest King who was not a
00:00:44 prophet right yeah so he is the wisest K
00:00:47 the wisest king of his time he um until
00:00:51 he amend his priesthood with his U with
00:00:54 his um uh with his lack of execution
00:00:57 shall we say uh
00:01:00 extra desires that weren’t holy right he
00:01:03 was he actually held the melkisedek
00:01:06 priesthood like the Kings yeah um the
00:01:09 Kings uh when there were holy prophets
00:01:11 around did hold the mestic priesthood um
00:01:16 but uh a lot of them didn’t keep it so
00:01:19 yeah a lot of them amened their
00:01:21 priesthood um some some by means of not
00:01:25 being holy enough and some by means of
00:01:27 looking beyond the mark and trying to be
00:01:29 too holy
00:01:31 um yes yes yeah so it’s a the the whole
00:01:36 history of the Israelite Kings is kind
00:01:38 of interesting so that we get wisdom
00:01:40 literature from these people um we do
00:01:44 need to realize that these are rules of
00:01:48 thumb they are
00:01:50 not Universal generally
00:01:54 speaking uh I I so the
00:01:57 way it it um
00:02:00 because Universal can be a little
00:02:01 confusing here I would say they’re not
00:02:04 absolutes yeah yeah okay they’re not
00:02:06 written in stone these are some
00:02:09 generalities hence rule of thumbs right
00:02:12 so we’re going to go through this we’re
00:02:13 going to go through this chapter 29 and
00:02:16 Proverbs and we’re going to go through
00:02:18 what’s true and what’s not and
00:02:20 situations where possibly things could
00:02:22 be true or things could be false we’re
00:02:25 going to we’re going to look at all of
00:02:27 these things we’re going to take a we’re
00:02:28 just going to take a good look
00:02:30 at Proverbs chapter 29 and gain some
00:02:33 wisdom
00:02:35 from Wise
00:02:38 fools okay so we got to be careful with
00:02:40 the word full here um I’m being
00:02:44 technical Timmy uh but as we talk about
00:02:46 spir spiritual things full do does have
00:02:49 a technical definition someone who does
00:02:52 not believe in God now okay well yeah
00:02:56 and when I’m using the word fool I don’t
00:02:58 mean that I’m not judging their their
00:02:59 relationship with God but I all I’m
00:03:01 simply stating that they didn’t live up
00:03:03 to the wisdom that they uh
00:03:06 taught uh sure sure now
00:03:10 I so it’s more the secular definition
00:03:13 not sure sure okay that’s F okay um
00:03:19 now Solomon went back and forth in his
00:03:23 righteousness uh as uh I would probably
00:03:26 say everybody has um now
00:03:32 um he’s a very prant person that people
00:03:35 like to bring out but at the same time
00:03:39 there is symbolism in how things are
00:03:41 brought out about the coming Kingdom and
00:03:44 I’ll just leave it at that because we’re
00:03:45 not getting into there but um I do
00:03:48 believe when he wrote These he was on
00:03:51 good terms okay yes when he wrote These
00:03:55 when he wrote these um when he wrote
00:03:56 These Proverbs he I imag I believe he
00:04:00 was on good terms of the Lord because
00:04:02 proverb The Book of Proverbs is full of
00:04:05 a wonderful wonderful says that you can
00:04:08 actually use as
00:04:12 wisdom both spiritually and
00:04:15 temporally correct just don’t take it as
00:04:18 an absolute that’s
00:04:20 right all right right so uh Zack do you
00:04:24 want to read verse one for me
00:04:32 you’re muted
00:04:37 Zach okay Zach doesn’t want to read
00:04:39 verse one well I I’ll read it he that
00:04:43 often reproveth Harden his
00:04:48 neck so he that being often sorry sorry
00:04:51 he that being often reproved Harden his
00:04:53 neck shall suddenly be destroyed and
00:04:57 that without remedy okay so this is
00:05:01 wisdom
00:05:04 here whenever we get
00:05:07 reproved especially if the reproval
00:05:12 is
00:05:14 not if it’s done in good faith and you
00:05:18 actually need to be
00:05:20 reproved
00:05:22 then we have a choice we can choose to
00:05:25 harden our hearts or Harden our necks as
00:05:28 this says
00:05:30 uh because it’s going to hurt
00:05:32 us because we’re
00:05:35 guilty and we have the choice to choose
00:05:38 to harden our
00:05:39 neck or to soften our neck those who
00:05:43 Harden their
00:05:44 neck after repeated even even with with
00:05:50 repeated
00:05:51 um with repeated uh reproval efforts to
00:05:56 get them to repent they will be
00:05:59 destroyed and this is actually brought
00:06:01 out in the Book of Mormon when Elma
00:06:05 after repeated attempts to get people to
00:06:07 repent has to cut them off from the
00:06:09 church correct now I agree with that uh
00:06:13 I I I would go a different angle with
00:06:15 this okay I think this is a rule of
00:06:19 thumb to keep in mind of those who are
00:06:21 doing the
00:06:23 reproving so uh also um
00:06:27 in in modern
00:06:30 culture for those who look into this
00:06:32 type of things of being a leader and
00:06:34 trying to help others there is a a rule
00:06:36 of thumb that you shouldn’t
00:06:40 give more than one reproval for
00:06:45 every to
00:06:49 um my mind approvals reapprovals and
00:06:53 approvals approvals yeah or or positive
00:06:56 statements okay right now uh so that’s
00:07:00 um civil or you know social wisdom and
00:07:06 from the DNC which I don’t remember what
00:07:08 section but it does say when you reprove
00:07:11 show forth more
00:07:13 love yep and and a lot of that part of
00:07:16 loving is showing how you care for them
00:07:19 and that things that they’re doing good
00:07:21 to help them uh feel better um so I I
00:07:25 take this verse as a warning or
00:07:30 maybe warning is not the best term
00:07:33 something to keep in mind when you’re
00:07:35 reproving other people okay yeah that if
00:07:37 you reprove them over much it’ll Harden
00:07:40 their heart and they yeah and so I think
00:07:43 it’s we are to reprove but be careful
00:07:48 with it and how you do it and how
00:07:51 often pick battles and things of that
00:07:54 nature oh yeah and and this is one of
00:07:56 the things that I one of the things that
00:07:58 I stress a lot around my house is
00:08:03 okay is this thing that annoys you
00:08:06 actually going to is it actually really
00:08:08 hurting anything or is it just annoying
00:08:11 you yeah kind of along those lines just
00:08:14 uh that would be along the lines what I
00:08:17 would say is pick your battles yeah
00:08:20 because if you approve too much uh
00:08:23 they’re not going to listen to you right
00:08:26 they’ll Harden their they’ll Harden
00:08:27 their neck go down to destruction
00:08:30 right oh here he goes again whatever
00:08:34 right right and and just to bring out
00:08:35 the hardening of the neck it means they
00:08:37 won’t look at this other idea is what’s
00:08:39 going on with that idea there right
00:08:41 because they won’t turn it to to look at
00:08:43 something different that said the person
00:08:46 who hardens the neck will eventually go
00:08:50 down to
00:08:51 destruction is that true been conveyed
00:08:54 in here as well but it is true but at
00:08:56 the same time we need to be careful how
00:08:58 we do it yeah we we need the reprover
00:09:01 needs to be careful that he’s not just
00:09:04 that he’s not just being anal
00:09:07 retentive yes yeah yes yeah uh because
00:09:12 some things will
00:09:14 come and some things there’s an order of
00:09:17 what you should address so we’ll that we
00:09:21 don’t want to get into that too much
00:09:22 right right so Josh verse two please
00:09:27 sure when the righteous are in AU
00:09:30 the people
00:09:31 Rejoice but when the wicked beareth rule
00:09:35 the people mourn okay so this is of
00:09:37 course a truism and something that
00:09:40 generally that is generally something
00:09:42 that is generally true that and I would
00:09:45 say more longterm true more long term
00:09:48 yes right because short term people do
00:09:51 like Wicked because then they can do do
00:09:54 thou will which everybody likes to do
00:09:57 but they don’t want other people to do
00:09:58 that especially
00:10:00 but so but there’s interesting levels in
00:10:04 this to delve into potentially so why
00:10:08 like for instance why do the people end
00:10:09 up rejoicing when the righteous are in
00:10:12 Authority well for one because they are
00:10:15 treated correctly and Justice is done
00:10:19 yes yes you see and Justice is
00:10:24 simply uh justice in rule is B based on
00:10:30 just uh
00:10:33 restoration yeah uh just laws and just
00:10:36 restoration correct right just laws and
00:10:38 just
00:10:40 restoration which means you don’t just
00:10:42 get a slap on your hand when you are
00:10:44 stealing tons of money from people uh
00:10:47 which then you make money off of and
00:10:49 it’s actually uh doing something that
00:10:53 hurts them and as Torah States you give
00:10:56 back the initial and depending on your
00:10:58 motives you have to give
00:11:00 double depending on you double portion
00:11:04 right yeah so in a in a rightous system
00:11:08 in a Tor based system if somebody
00:11:10 say
00:11:13 flee $2 million off the
00:11:18 government by
00:11:20 lying what what how would that How would
00:11:23 how would that how would the how would
00:11:25 we apply this oh they would have to give
00:11:27 back double yeah
00:11:29 and if they’re not able to they would uh
00:11:32 have to find someone that would be
00:11:36 willing to basically modern term sponsor
00:11:39 their debt they would then work it off
00:11:42 with them and if they’re not if they
00:11:44 can’t find someone to do that they go to
00:11:46 debtor’s prison where they actually work
00:11:48 off their debt and not just sit on a bed
00:11:52 for a period of time where they do
00:11:55 nothing except learning how to do be a
00:11:57 better Criminal
00:11:59 right they actually will have to do
00:12:01 something to work off their debt that
00:12:04 would better Society in some
00:12:06 way and depending if it’s really the
00:12:09 amount of money that Ben’s suggesting
00:12:11 they would probably work that off till
00:12:12 their death until they can convince
00:12:14 someone to sponsor them in modern terms
00:12:18 right right though money now
00:12:21 means it’s worth a whole lot less than
00:12:24 it used to be so well so so $2 million
00:12:28 is was it two or four anyway that’s
00:12:31 anyways that’s a whole different subject
00:12:33 um it’s not as much as it used to be but
00:12:38 um who okay who so loveth wisdom
00:12:41 rejoiceth his father but he that keepeth
00:12:43 company with harlots spende his
00:12:45 substance okay so this is a really
00:12:47 interesting ju toos here it’s he who
00:12:51 loveth wisdom rejoiceth his
00:12:54 father and that is ju opposed against
00:12:57 keeping company with harlots
00:13:00 so so here so are we to understand here
00:13:03 that harlots actually means harlots or
00:13:06 are we talking about false
00:13:08 teachers so I I would uh suggest that
00:13:12 the father is the father Yahweh Elohim
00:13:16 yeah and that the harlots are uh those
00:13:19 who are um going after many gods yeah
00:13:24 right because his is I noticed is
00:13:29 italicized
00:13:30 here which so theal back to which I
00:13:34 think refers back well could it not
00:13:37 refer back
00:13:38 to the father in the beginning of the
00:13:42 verse well so the the actual technical
00:13:45 reason why it’s italicized is because
00:13:47 they’re being honest it’s a fillow word
00:13:49 that they put in to make it make sense
00:13:51 okay okay okay okay but but in this case
00:13:55 it does refer back to this um to the
00:13:58 father they up here because that’s the
00:14:00 only other guy that’s been referring to
00:14:03 so right this case you’re correct but
00:14:05 the technical definition of the tiies is
00:14:07 that they’re trying to be honest that
00:14:09 they’re bringing in words to make the
00:14:12 sentence make sense fair enough okay all
00:14:15 right fair enough uh but I I do agree
00:14:20 with that uh f word there it is going
00:14:23 back to the initial father and the
00:14:25 reason why I will say it is Yahweh
00:14:28 Elohim because he is the father of
00:14:30 wisdom and just as Satan is the father
00:14:33 of Lies um
00:14:35 right right okay so this so This is
00:14:41 actually one that I would say is more
00:14:43 than a
00:14:45 trism uh yes I would agree with that and
00:14:48 the reason so everything that you have
00:14:50 comes from the father whether you
00:14:52 recognize him or not and that would be
00:14:54 why you’re spending his substance and
00:14:56 this would go back to the parable of and
00:15:00 I’m going to say it a little different
00:15:01 the two prodical sons yes right yeah
00:15:05 yeah yeah typically is called the
00:15:07 prodical son but I I do have a reason
00:15:09 for but they were both prodigals yes
00:15:12 yeah yeah both prodigal in their own way
00:15:16 um okay and and just just which brings
00:15:20 back to brings us back to the point that
00:15:21 King Benjamin makes that there’s diverse
00:15:24 ways that we can commit sin and you
00:15:25 can’t you can’t even number them all
00:15:29 well you mean like Satan’s way is pretty
00:15:33 wide like very wide yes need to get
00:15:36 taller so I
00:15:39 anyways all right Stephen verse four
00:15:42 yeah the King by judgment EST
00:15:45 establishes the land but he that
00:15:48 receiveth gifts overthroweth it so this
00:15:51 is going how the King by judgment and
00:15:54 the judgment is actually pointing back
00:15:56 to yahweh’s Torah because that is how we
00:15:59 are supposed to judge right and that
00:16:02 establishes righteousness in the land
00:16:05 and it actually even brings protection
00:16:07 because I’m GNA get yahweh’s protection
00:16:09 right now this is actually referring to
00:16:11 receiving gifts bribes for your judgment
00:16:14 yes and so I was going to get into that
00:16:16 that the law actually brings out how uh
00:16:20 judges should not
00:16:22 receive um bribes and I think um
00:16:28 initially spr out with jeffro kind of
00:16:31 help Moses out as instead of Moses doing
00:16:34 everything himself and I and if I
00:16:36 remember it correctly it’s Exodus 18
00:16:40 where Jeff R like here’s some wisdom for
00:16:42 you and you know when you pick these
00:16:44 judges that you need to have ones that
00:16:47 aren’t susceptible to bribes yeah
00:16:50 susceptible of bribes um so that way
00:16:52 you’ll know they’ll want righteousness
00:16:54 and also later in the law it reiterates
00:16:57 that and also brings out how you can’t
00:16:59 even just favor the poor or the rich you
00:17:02 have to do it completely based off the
00:17:04 law not their
00:17:06 circumstances right right that makes
00:17:09 sense okay so this is one of those that
00:17:12 is also this one TI ties back to the law
00:17:16 so this is also not a truism this is a
00:17:19 truth correct so yes I we we said
00:17:22 Proverbs is so I guess we should amend
00:17:25 our statement it’s mostly truisms rule
00:17:28 of
00:17:29 generalities it’s there are some
00:17:32 absolutes like these CP last couple ones
00:17:34 but
00:17:36 anyways but even on number one though
00:17:39 like the first one that is a truism I
00:17:42 mean you do what you need to do
00:17:44 especially when Yahweh tells you to do
00:17:46 it but right in general you need to be
00:17:50 while you’re approving you need to be
00:17:52 careful with it
00:17:55 right all right verse five Jos I got
00:17:59 all right a man that flattereth his
00:18:01 neighbor spreadeth a net for his
00:18:05 feet so don’t set traps your neighbor
00:18:10 this is a truism because there are
00:18:12 people who are just
00:18:15 obsequious okay expl okay can you tell
00:18:17 me what that means sorry they’re just
00:18:20 they it’s
00:18:22 like it’s like kissing but just comes
00:18:26 naturally to
00:18:27 them oh sure sure yeah and I do think it
00:18:31 spread as a net for his feet um it’s his
00:18:34 own feet and he’s not on good standing
00:18:38 it’s not solid you’re uh you’re
00:18:42 depending upon how your neighbor feels
00:18:44 about you right rather being on Solid
00:18:48 Ground you’re on very
00:18:51 uh slippery ground yeah yes I was say
00:18:55 Holy Ground but that’s could be
00:18:56 interpreted multiple ways
00:18:59 but what I’m pointing out and there’s
00:19:02 two ways you can go with that you’re
00:19:04 going You’re Going obviously that the
00:19:06 person who flattering is setting the net
00:19:10 for himself you can also see in in cases
00:19:15 where it is designed flattery where it
00:19:18 is
00:19:20 um oh for the actual neighbor yes I I
00:19:23 can see how it applies for both in this
00:19:26 statement which is why I think you don’t
00:19:28 have a j position here you actually just
00:19:30 have a single statement and it’s a
00:19:33 truism yes yeah well either way it’s I
00:19:37 do think the point is if you’re focused
00:19:39 on flattery you’re not you don’t have a
00:19:41 solid is it’s it’s not a good
00:19:44 thing a follow pudding that does that
00:19:47 mean that it’s that it’s a bad thing to
00:19:49 flatter if you mean it no uh I actually
00:19:53 I I I
00:19:56 I we could look at the definition of
00:19:59 and compliments there there’s a
00:20:01 difference between giv someone a
00:20:02 compliment and flattering somebody yeah
00:20:05 that’s what I was getting at those are
00:20:07 actually two different words I think
00:20:08 flattery uh if we go check the
00:20:10 definition okay yeah flattery is
00:20:13 insincere you’re right so but if
00:20:16 Compliments are sincere give comp you
00:20:18 should give compliments when Compliments
00:20:20 are due but flattery is rarely ever uh
00:20:24 is never Justified uh that’s how I would
00:20:28 well and it’s and it’s usually over the
00:20:30 top it’s like it’s not just a compliment
00:20:33 it’s like well yeah they’re obviously
00:20:36 just trying to uh get on the good side
00:20:41 um whatever means they can and
00:20:44 flatterers tend to be
00:20:47 psychop yes man yeah yeah yep well just
00:20:52 do Minions who will do whatever the
00:20:56 person they’re
00:20:57 flattering wants them to do as long as
00:21:00 they uh go up in the chain of authority
00:21:03 and get what they or get what they want
00:21:05 so on and so forth right right as long
00:21:08 as they’re getting what they want then
00:21:09 they’ll yes they’ll say whatever they
00:21:11 have to say right yeah and do whatever
00:21:14 they have to
00:21:17 do all right number six let’s do it in
00:21:21 the transgression of an evil man there
00:21:23 is a snare but the righteous but the
00:21:26 righteous does sing and rejoice
00:21:29 okay this is
00:21:33 truth transgression is a
00:21:37 snare and the righteous does sing and
00:21:40 rejoice does that mean that the
00:21:42 righteous will have no problems
00:21:46 no so this reminds me of uh I think it’s
00:21:53 Paul but maybe it’s Peter in the
00:21:57 chapters of Acts where they were
00:21:59 arrested and they started singing so and
00:22:03 the reason it reminds me of that is
00:22:04 because the evil men put up a snare for
00:22:07 the
00:22:10 righteous but uh the righteous know on
00:22:14 who they trust and that it will actually
00:22:17 this hole that they the evil of dig will
00:22:21 eventually uh expose the wicked yes it
00:22:24 will yes um but I I do think think the
00:22:29 example of the singing in the jail from
00:22:31 the early chapters of Acts brings out
00:22:35 how they did get in a trap yeah but they
00:22:41 rejoiced in maybe they were thinking of
00:22:43 this uh proverb right here when they
00:22:45 were doing it possibly that’s true you
00:22:48 never know the wicked will always the
00:22:50 wicked will always try to snare the
00:22:52 righteous but the righteous don’t have
00:22:55 but the righteous don’t have to be upset
00:22:58 because got snared right and
00:23:02 um and this is where when you’re
00:23:05 striving to keep yahweh’s ways he will
00:23:07 give you peace because I’ll tell you if
00:23:10 they didn’t have peace they wouldn’t
00:23:11 have been singing right that’s true yep
00:23:14 and also I do think there is a one song
00:23:18 that I like from the elest church
00:23:20 growing up do it is right let the
00:23:22 consequence
00:23:24 follow
00:23:25 yes uh those men knew what
00:23:29 what the snare was but they did what was
00:23:31 right
00:23:34 anyways so that’s so verse seven Stephen
00:23:39 yeah the righteous consider the cause of
00:23:42 the poor but the wicked uh regardeth not
00:23:46 to know it okay so this is going off th
00:23:48 this I would say is an absolute because
00:23:52 this actually goes to um some laws in
00:23:54 Torah that I kind of referred to earlier
00:23:58 that the right rightous judge shall hear
00:23:59 the cause of the poor meaning which goes
00:24:03 along how the judges should not only
00:24:06 hear cases that will benefit them
00:24:09 because they’re getting bribed in fact
00:24:10 getting bribed is against the
00:24:13 law law because um there’s multiple
00:24:18 reasons a big one is then you’re very
00:24:20 prone not to do things according to the
00:24:23 law um just just for example a world
00:24:28 example of this most people uh will
00:24:32 bring out how scientists side with the
00:24:36 person that’s funding the study all
00:24:39 right it’s kind of long those like right
00:24:41 the science always agrees with who’s
00:24:42 paying for it yeah
00:24:45 [Laughter]
00:24:48 um but and then same thing here same
00:24:51 idea here uh let me finish and on the
00:24:54 last part of seven but the wicked
00:24:56 regardeth not to know it I I would say
00:25:00 this is the cause of the poor because
00:25:03 they’ve been paid
00:25:04 off yeah oh yeah right I do believe in
00:25:11 case in case you’re wondering this isn’t
00:25:14 this isn’t necessarily talking about
00:25:16 though though the person who is not the
00:25:19 judge in Israel can still apply some
00:25:21 wisdom from this and that and that you
00:25:24 can still consider the needs of the poor
00:25:27 uh as you go through through your
00:25:29 life uh yeah in your personal life you
00:25:32 should help and so this gets into
00:25:33 tithing and there’s lot to so some
00:25:37 tithing goes to the Levites directly and
00:25:40 some tithing you do yourself and we’ll
00:25:42 leave it at that because tithing is a
00:25:43 big subject it’s a long
00:25:47 subject yeah so that’s that is because
00:25:51 this is one of those in one of those
00:25:54 situations where the word um describing
00:25:58 the righteous it’s
00:26:01 Saka yeah uh and so and this could be
00:26:04 just that maybe not just the judge like
00:26:06 I was going off this just just could be
00:26:08 in your daily life as you see people
00:26:11 right
00:26:13 um I I mean use your PR and this and
00:26:17 that actually correlates very well to
00:26:19 the teaching of King Benjamin where in
00:26:21 mosiah Chapter Four where he’s talking
00:26:24 about how we should not withhold our
00:26:25 substance from the poor or judge them
00:26:29 because they’re poor right right um I I
00:26:33 I do think you need to use wisdom while
00:26:36 giving but well yeah he also does say
00:26:39 that if you cannot get if you have only
00:26:42 sufficient that you’re getting by
00:26:43 day-to- day
00:26:44 yourself well that’s not the wisdom I’m
00:26:46 talking about if it looks like if it’s
00:26:48 very obvious they’re a liar yeah oh I
00:26:52 don’t give because there’s a lot of
00:26:54 those especially in today’s world oh
00:26:57 yeah so
00:26:58 use some
00:27:00 wisdom uh but also be careful not just
00:27:03 to judge them so I it’s a tricky balance
00:27:06 I’ll leave it to that
00:27:09 yep yeah the it generally
00:27:13 speaking
00:27:16 uh if they come generally speaking
00:27:19 exercise wisdom especially when they
00:27:21 come to you with a s story uh yeah yeah
00:27:26 yeah well you got to be got to be
00:27:28 careful with that too because I’ve I’ve
00:27:30 been in situations
00:27:32 where people are just
00:27:35 hungry and I had the means to help and I
00:27:38 did yeah yeah this is where I’m saying
00:27:41 use some wisdom and right right right
00:27:44 right
00:27:45 yeah this is one of those situations
00:27:47 where the spirit can inform you and I
00:27:50 think this is a more of a modern day
00:27:52 problem than an ancient one so right
00:27:55 well and here’s and here’s the thing
00:27:57 like like I’ve always considered it
00:28:00 wisdom not to just give them money but
00:28:03 to to ask questions what what do you
00:28:06 need sure I’ve I’ve actually I think uh
00:28:11 almost never given money it’s most of
00:28:13 the time is I’ll go take them out to eat
00:28:16 and guess what most of them don’t want
00:28:18 to leave or or or take them into the
00:28:20 store and if they’re cold buy them a Cod
00:28:23 yeah yeah um yeah what you’ll find in
00:28:25 many what I found in many of those
00:28:27 instances where I’ve offered to do that
00:28:30 they didn’t want to leave their street
00:28:31 corner yeah
00:28:33 yeah right but the ones that do that
00:28:37 means that they’re being honest and if
00:28:40 they’re being honest I’m gonna help
00:28:41 they’re being hon if they’re being
00:28:42 honest there is absolutely no reason not
00:28:44 to give to them yeah well unless you
00:28:48 don’t have anything to give but yeah
00:28:51 yeah well I’m not talking about
00:28:53 necessarily just giving money it’s like
00:28:55 buy a coat or something oh yeah
00:28:59 Josh’s getting out if if you can afford
00:29:01 it you can you can afford it absolutely
00:29:04 that’s the and that’s where I was going
00:29:06 earlier with the if you only have enough
00:29:09 that you’re barely getting by day to day
00:29:12 um you simply offer you simply offer a
00:29:15 prayer you simply offer a prayer up for
00:29:17 him and and say I would I would give if
00:29:21 I had but I have not so I give not yeah
00:29:24 okay which is almost right yep okay I
00:29:28 think we killed that one yeah okay so uh
00:29:33 say it’s eight right
00:29:35 Josh yes I believe we’re at verse eight
00:29:38 yes uh scornful men bring a city into a
00:29:42 snare but wise men turn away
00:29:45 wrath okay so scornful men we’re here
00:29:49 we’re talking about people who don’t
00:29:51 know how to behave and who are e who who
00:29:53 say bad things about people I and I
00:29:56 think it untrue they’re just being
00:29:59 they’re just mocking right um and
00:30:04 it’s there’s one thing to say there’s a
00:30:08 problem there’s a whole another one
00:30:10 trying to help solve it right so yeah so
00:30:14 this is talk I do think that this is
00:30:16 talking about people in leadership of a
00:30:18 city because it’s talking about being a
00:30:20 people who have the ability to bring a
00:30:21 city into a snare um yeah and I would
00:30:25 tend to also agree it’s more talking
00:30:28 about leaders here it doesn’t
00:30:29 specifically say it but it makes the
00:30:31 most sense um because your local
00:30:34 citizens not GNA have much of effect on
00:30:38 that yeah so so yeah so this is and this
00:30:42 is a this is a trism those who are
00:30:45 better at finding problems than
00:30:46 Solutions are generally going to create
00:30:49 more and more
00:30:50 problems yeah and and this could also be
00:30:54 dealing with how you deal with uh some
00:30:56 of your city and neighbor cities
00:30:59 because because if the Z leaders which I
00:31:03 think makes the most sense um Turning
00:31:05 Away wrath would be from other
00:31:07 cities right right but you we have
00:31:11 a I’m just going to say this um our
00:31:14 current uh the way that we’re currently
00:31:17 running things in the United States is a
00:31:19 really real case and point of this
00:31:22 verse uh putting ourselves in a snare
00:31:26 well I will say this I will say this
00:31:28 it’s it’s a good example of how this
00:31:30 country has been run for about the last
00:31:32 three decades but anyway
00:31:35 yeah yeah yeah
00:31:38 unfortunately well I I I’ll I think the
00:31:41 plan’s always been to destroy the USA
00:31:43 but anyways well I agree I agree but I’m
00:31:47 I’m just simply trying to point out the
00:31:50 TR
00:31:52 the nature the truistic nature and how
00:31:56 it and a way that you can see it playing
00:32:00 out okay right
00:32:04 okay
00:32:06 okay maybe he can read uh Zach you want
00:32:10 to read verse
00:32:12 nine oh yeah yeah if a wise man intend
00:32:16 us with a foolish man whether he Rage or
00:32:19 laugh there is no
00:32:21 rest
00:32:25 okay so I I I mean
00:32:28 anybody that’s done interactions with uh
00:32:30 people online in the social media in one
00:32:34 form or another would probably uh agree
00:32:38 with this
00:32:40 right this sounds an awful lot
00:32:45 like another truism that I heard from
00:32:48 American thought which is you’ve done
00:32:50 nothing when you’ve bested a fool uh
00:32:53 yeah you’ve just wasted your time and
00:32:55 you get yourself
00:32:58 the most people
00:32:59 do get yourself abated because I I know
00:33:04 I said that word wrong but anyways
00:33:07 um gonna convince him and he’s gonna
00:33:09 think he’s right
00:33:12 because it a fo a foolish man doesn’t
00:33:16 have much thinking skills so yeah is
00:33:20 reminds me of a reminds me of a of a
00:33:24 story uh this this exact reminds me of a
00:33:28 story that I read not tooo long ago
00:33:30 online and the story goes something like
00:33:33 this a donkey walked up to a tiger and
00:33:38 said
00:33:39 wow this grass is beautiful look at the
00:33:42 lovely shade of of blue that it is and
00:33:46 the tiger looked at the donkey and said
00:33:49 are you out of your mind the grass is
00:33:51 green it’s not blue and they started
00:33:53 arguing and going back and forth and
00:33:55 going back and forth and the Tiger’s
00:33:56 like you know what
00:33:59 no we’re we’re going to go to The Lion
00:34:01 King of the beasts and he’s going to
00:34:03 tell us what the right answer
00:34:05 is and so the lion the the tiger went up
00:34:08 to the lion said
00:34:10 hey the grass is green right and the
00:34:13 lion said yeah the grass is green the
00:34:17 donkey went up to the lion and said well
00:34:20 obviously the grass is blue and the lion
00:34:22 looked at him and said sure
00:34:24 whatever he’s like obviously you’re
00:34:27 right go on your way good sir have a
00:34:30 lovely
00:34:31 day then he turned to the tiger and
00:34:35 said and he gave him a punishment and
00:34:38 the Tiger’s like why are you punishing
00:34:40 me and he’s like because you you were
00:34:43 arguing with an idiot yeah because you
00:34:46 were arguing actually the way The Story
00:34:48 Goes is because you were arguing with a
00:34:50 jackass yeah and the the answer to the
00:34:53 donkey was sure I I mean come he didn’t
00:34:58 say yes or no he’s just like right he
00:35:00 just like sure whatever have a nice day
00:35:03 go on your way
00:35:06 sir yeah right well the thing is is
00:35:11 that yes you want to when you’re sharing
00:35:14 the gospel with people who are stubborn
00:35:17 you
00:35:18 really there’s something in us that
00:35:20 really wants them to just to accept
00:35:25 to oh yeah we even here the the tiger oh
00:35:30 hopefully I’m getting the cat right uh
00:35:32 wanted to help him the do the jackass to
00:35:36 know the truth but the problem is the
00:35:39 jackass doesn’t want to know the truth
00:35:41 right and so you have to know as a you
00:35:45 have to make a judgment call as a
00:35:47 teacher when to stop spending time with
00:35:50 a certain
00:35:52 individual yeah and I uh I I will say I
00:35:59 I’ve made those judgment calls at times
00:36:01 and I’m not going to bring out specific
00:36:03 people but
00:36:09 um the guys can confirm and I’ll close
00:36:11 my ears so I they don’t have to fill
00:36:14 pressure um I still care for them but I
00:36:18 just know my time is up with them
00:36:19 because they’re not listening anymore
00:36:21 right they’re not going to listen right
00:36:24 yeah and the and the thing and the thing
00:36:26 about that is is that um you know
00:36:32 we sometime do we make as the teacher we
00:36:37 have to make these calls we pray that we
00:36:40 make them
00:36:42 correctly but even if we even if you
00:36:45 know and if we and even if we don’t we
00:36:49 we still if we still exercised our if we
00:36:53 still exercised our best
00:36:55 judgment uh there is forgiv for that
00:36:58 mistake well yeah and and if they want
00:37:01 the person come back and show them why
00:37:03 they’re wrong
00:37:05 but
00:37:08 anyways I I I as I’ve learned
00:37:12 things um I’ve made mistakes and I’m
00:37:15 sorry if I’ve hurt anybody’s
00:37:17 feelings um not my
00:37:21 intent right
00:37:24 um I’m not perfect yet yeah I said you
00:37:29 um because Yahweh did command us to be
00:37:31 perfect and I believe he only commands
00:37:33 things that are possible so it is
00:37:35 possible
00:37:37 yeah yeah our God not a god of ENT so
00:37:42 I’m sorry anyways is yeah our God is not
00:37:46 a god of entrapment no he’s not that’s
00:37:50 the God of this world that is which is
00:37:53 Satan for just in case people don’t know
00:37:56 by looking out uh or just watching TV or
00:37:59 or interacting with your
00:38:02 neighbors of this world is Satan yes
00:38:05 very definitely so yeah
00:38:09 so so that’s enough on that I think
00:38:13 um uh now it’s I guess it’s my turn now
00:38:16 right yes verse 10 blood the
00:38:19 bloodthirsty hate the upright but the
00:38:22 just seek his soul
00:38:31 so um with well there’s a pause I’m
00:38:34 going to jump in
00:38:37 um there are people that just hate
00:38:39 people that are doing
00:38:41 righteousness yeah I I think and there’s
00:38:44 multiple reasons that could be and which
00:38:47 one it is maybe a combination uh
00:38:50 depending and this is on a Case by case
00:38:51 but here’s some generalities because it
00:38:54 shows that it’s possible while they’re
00:38:56 get is why they couldn’t also um
00:39:03 it it goes against the idea of just
00:39:06 doing whatever the hell they want and
00:39:07 here’s this guy so here’s another way to
00:39:10 look at that word bloodthirsty it’s not
00:39:12 necessarily talking about just violent
00:39:15 people it’s talking about those who
00:39:17 thirst after the
00:39:23 flesh okay um so maybe let’s um
00:39:28 I’m GNA do a share screen okay it’s a
00:39:31 it’s just something I’m thinking about
00:39:33 yeah let’s let’s uh I’m gonna uh suggest
00:39:37 dictionary if that’s okay yeah let’s do
00:39:39 that let’s do that now I’m pretty sure
00:39:41 that I’m sure that I know of the
00:39:44 definition of
00:39:46 bloodthirsty that does state that it’s
00:39:48 about wanting blood and aiding people
00:39:52 but wanting to kill
00:39:54 people but uh
00:39:58 desires to send shed blood yeah so this
00:40:01 is murderous people hateful
00:40:04 yeah um now what does the word say
00:40:07 interesting thought is to look it up in
00:40:09 Bible Hub too sure I’ll do that see what
00:40:12 it looks let’s see what it looks like in
00:40:13 there there may be a Nuance there may
00:40:16 I’m I’m just thinking yeah there could
00:40:17 be Nuance because of translation issues
00:40:19 right that’s
00:40:21 fine other nuances now if it is if it
00:40:24 literally is only blood if it literally
00:40:27 is only meant to be bloodthirsty then
00:40:31 then there’s no Nuance it’s it is what
00:40:33 it is that’s just look we’ll find out
00:40:36 um M of Bloodshed I I would say that’s
00:40:39 pretty much the same but let’s go look
00:40:40 at the Hebrew underneath it oh blood
00:40:45 yeah it’s thirsty oh yeah no it’s it’s
00:40:49 it’s literally murderous intent yes okay
00:40:53 yeah but one of the things that I know
00:40:54 that causes people to have murderous
00:40:56 intent toward WS the
00:40:59 upright is it simply the fact that
00:41:02 they’re in sin and the upright are not
00:41:04 well right and and um
00:41:09 so wickedness needs
00:41:14 weak righteous people or somewhat
00:41:17 righteous people right because they they
00:41:21 they righteousness breeds
00:41:25 courage right
00:41:28 uh and courageous people stand up
00:41:31 against
00:41:34 wickedness um and I do think why that’s
00:41:38 where the murderous murderous people
00:41:41 hate the brave righteous the upright
00:41:45 those are the ones that are standing up
00:41:48 stand up for something I mean there’s
00:41:50 lots of imagery that goes with this but
00:41:52 this upright standing up but that’s
00:41:55 really interesting the just seek seeks
00:41:57 the seeks the soul of the
00:42:00 upright uh and so I I wonder if this is
00:42:05 the just
00:42:06 seeks to help that hateful person that
00:42:10 maybe I I mean it is a little ambiguous
00:42:13 here but for sure he is seeking after
00:42:17 his own soul but considering the context
00:42:21 here I wonder if it’s that the righteous
00:42:25 is actually trying to hate are is trying
00:42:28 to help that hateful person well what I
00:42:33 was the take I was going with it was the
00:42:36 the bloodthirsty hate the upright the
00:42:38 just seek the
00:42:43 upright no I can see that
00:42:46 um seek the soul of the upright
00:42:52 um sure
00:42:53 so but that but but I see what you’re
00:42:56 saying too the just actually seeks to
00:42:59 save the soul of the bloodthirsty
00:43:02 individual yeah um I
00:43:05 mean there’s a limit how much you can
00:43:07 try just for your own sanity so let’s
00:43:10 for your own safety for that matter
00:43:13 bloodthirsty it’s about
00:43:14 safety okay so the murderers hate the
00:43:17 blameless so the righteous that’s fine
00:43:19 the upright
00:43:21 seek hisbe wellbeing
00:43:26 um so the way that I would take this and
00:43:29 going a parable it’s it’s talking the
00:43:32 common theme Here is the blameless right
00:43:36 bloodthirsty man seeks to kill the
00:43:38 blameless the upright man seeks the
00:43:41 blameless man’s well-being and that’s
00:43:43 what I get out of that uh possibly so
00:43:48 Yeshua taught that we are to love those
00:43:50 who hate
00:43:51 us no I I understand what you’re saying
00:43:55 Stephen but that’s literally what that
00:43:57 says right there is is what I just said
00:44:00 I would I I tend to disagree but I’m not
00:44:03 it’s not a big issue for me because it I
00:44:05 do think it’s a little ambiguous I can
00:44:07 see it both I can see it both ways yeah
00:44:09 uh because I I because the his is a
00:44:13 filler word you can tell that because
00:44:14 there’s no word up there um
00:44:18 right but the so the hateful man goes
00:44:23 after the righteous the upright seek
00:44:26 well wellbeing so the well-being of what
00:44:30 and this is the question here and the
00:44:33 ambiguous part I guess yeah yeah yeah
00:44:35 yeah uh and and
00:44:37 so let’s do another example um Jacob oh
00:44:43 no let’s do enus okay Book of Mormon
00:44:46 here after he
00:44:48 converted did he pray for himself or for
00:44:51 his enemies no he prayed he prayed first
00:44:54 for the
00:45:00 for the knightes then he prayed for
00:45:03 right right um so maybe it’s just
00:45:06 well-being period so maybe both right
00:45:09 it’s just speak the wellbeing period
00:45:12 yeah yeah I can see that yeah I was kind
00:45:16 of because maybe I was being a little
00:45:18 filtered because of the previous phrase
00:45:21 but maybe we need to with that in mind
00:45:25 because yeah Ben is bringing how first
00:45:27 prayed for the righteous and then he
00:45:28 also prayed for the wicked so maybe this
00:45:30 is better interpreted as just
00:45:33 everybody’s well-being right yeah I
00:45:37 could see that yeah yeah and this is
00:45:39 where the his is a filler word right and
00:45:44 so said there’s no word above it so this
00:45:46 actually takes us back to the sermon on
00:45:48 The Sermon on the Mount
00:45:50 Torah that uh where
00:45:53 Yeshua States pray for them
00:45:57 that despitefully use you pray for your
00:46:00 enemies bless them that curse you pray
00:46:02 for them despitefully use you and
00:46:05 persecute you yeah and that’s more what
00:46:07 I was going off but looking at enus is
00:46:10 it’s it’s both so it’s just probably
00:46:14 yeah which is kind of why I was going
00:46:16 with yeah I can see it both ways
00:46:19 actually and I could too we were just
00:46:21 trying to figure out which one it was
00:46:23 but it’s probably actually both right
00:46:25 right yeah I I could agree with that
00:46:28 yeah
00:46:31 absolutely okay so my turn for 11 yep I
00:46:35 think
00:46:36 so a fool utth all his mind but a wise
00:46:41 man seeketh it in until afterwards
00:46:46 keepeth it
00:46:47 in afterwards so I I would say
00:46:52 um I I think another way of saying this
00:46:55 is someone just spouts out anything that
00:46:58 comes to his mind where a wise man
00:47:01 thinks about it before he shares
00:47:04 it and here I think he’s talking about a
00:47:06 foolish man not not the um uh yeah I I
00:47:10 do think a better not the Godless man
00:47:13 just a foolish man yeah uh this gets off
00:47:17 of a technicality of what a fool is
00:47:19 versus being foolish so I do think Ben
00:47:22 bringing out the technicality of where
00:47:25 foolish is probably a better translation
00:47:27 I would agree is it while this actually
00:47:31 comes back to this comes back to that
00:47:35 famous example that a lot of people like
00:47:37 to trot out against those who uh
00:47:41 practice who believe in U who believe in
00:47:45 uh keeping the law and that there’s no
00:47:49 excuse for really breaking the law and
00:47:52 they always bring up this thing of well
00:47:54 if if if you were keep if you hiding Jew
00:47:58 breaking and when I’m talking about the
00:47:59 law I’m talking about
00:48:01 Torah not not the law of whatever
00:48:04 crooked Nation you happen to be
00:48:07 in and they say well what if what if you
00:48:10 were in Hitler’s Germany and you were
00:48:12 hiding Jews and the Nazis came
00:48:15 up would you just tell the truth and
00:48:18 give up all the Jews that were in your
00:48:20 house or would you and I and the
00:48:23 response to that is well I would
00:48:25 actually say some very carefully worded
00:48:28 that was not a lie but that did not give
00:48:31 them but they did not give them access
00:48:33 to my house right well for and and
00:48:37 there’s multiple times in scriptures
00:48:39 where people prayed for including holy
00:48:42 prophets prayed for stuff and Yahweh
00:48:44 kind of gave an avoidance answer it was
00:48:47 not a lie but an avoidance answer for
00:48:50 example let’s just do this one that
00:48:52 people like to bring up I would say well
00:48:54 I saw one go that way a while ago
00:48:58 yeah that’s not a lie well it is right
00:49:01 now because I wasn’t there but
00:49:04 uh but you’re giving an example but
00:49:06 you’re giving an example right example
00:49:08 that would not be a lie if I was there
00:49:10 because they saw him all the time right
00:49:13 so so you
00:49:14 know Li but it’s it avoiding the
00:49:17 question and most of the time most of
00:49:21 the time uh when you give an avoidance
00:49:23 answers most people go with that
00:49:25 avoidance answer and go with it by the
00:49:28 way they’re not very Focus this is also
00:49:31 pointing to the wisdom of
00:49:33 Abraham when he said that Sarah was his
00:49:36 sister what he said was true it wasn’t a
00:49:40 lie yeah well Yahweh told him to say
00:49:44 that so I don’t that’s more still I’m
00:49:46 just still pointing out that a lot of
00:49:49 people say that Abraham lied right but
00:49:52 at the same time sister had a different
00:49:54 meaning back then than it does now but
00:49:56 what he
00:49:58 did what God jea’s commandment to
00:50:02 Abraham was about keeping it in till
00:50:06 afterwards yeah and I I’ll just say this
00:50:10 that has to do with prophecy I’m not
00:50:12 going to get into it right now um but it
00:50:15 was not a lie a sister was more
00:50:17 encompassing as brother and cousins and
00:50:22 um oh she was a
00:50:25 cousin well actually was a niece sorry
00:50:28 but the sister included that so he was
00:50:32 and so people are trying to find
00:50:34 problems with modern day definitions
00:50:37 rather than what it meant in the past
00:50:40 right
00:50:41 right and not seeming to realize that
00:50:44 their modern-day righteousness is based
00:50:46 on the wickedness of the
00:50:48 devil in many cases yes um so I makes
00:50:53 that makes mistakes into sins that can
00:50:55 damn us to hell
00:50:57 which they can’t uh right but this
00:51:00 wasn’t even a mistake this was uh
00:51:02 purposeful and a commandment from ya way
00:51:04 to do it that way it’s the fact is
00:51:07 people are trying to use today’s
00:51:10 definitions back then well and and the
00:51:14 reason and well yeah okay so going off
00:51:16 of that the reason one of the one reason
00:51:20 for that could be that they are trying
00:51:23 to find fault with y was
00:51:29 anointed um that is one reason why they
00:51:33 could be doing it and I do think it’s a
00:51:36 common reason but I I think also some of
00:51:38 it is because they don’t know any better
00:51:41 um yeah so there there can be some of
00:51:43 both right right and this is where I
00:51:46 I’ll just plug in find a teacher yeah no
00:51:51 and don’t find just any
00:51:54 teacher find a good teacher find a
00:51:57 teacher that keeps the law
00:51:59 Torah yes and one that’s not full of
00:52:03 himself that when he doesn’t admit it
00:52:07 and uh and if it need be he will work on
00:52:09 finding the answer so right um anyways
00:52:13 find a teacher find a good teacher
00:52:18 yeah all right moving
00:52:21 on uh do you remember where we’re at is
00:52:24 it my turn I think it’s my turn yeah
00:52:26 it’s your turn all right verse
00:52:29 12 if a ruler hearken to lies all his
00:52:33 servants are
00:52:35 wicked yeah yeah I mean that’s a
00:52:40 trism yeah well and this is just to get
00:52:43 off uh if a rur hearkens to lies um
00:52:48 that’s mean they’re actually starting to
00:52:50 sin because sins are based off of lies
00:52:54 right and then they and they pass it on
00:52:56 to their servants right right um and
00:52:59 then which makes the ruler and his
00:53:02 servants Wicked now this is a truism
00:53:05 because a servant doesn’t have to be
00:53:06 Wicked like Daniel Daniel didn’t do any
00:53:08 wickedness and he was a servant right to
00:53:12 a wicked King to a wicked King yes uh
00:53:15 well so I mean he served three kings if
00:53:18 I remember correctly yes she did I I I
00:53:23 do
00:53:25 oh never Nezar the first one I I do
00:53:28 think he repented but I I’m anyways it
00:53:31 took some time so yeah yeah yeah he was
00:53:34 I’m saying at a certain point uh all
00:53:38 those kings that he served under were
00:53:39 Wicked yeah at a point they were all
00:53:42 Wicked um so U and Daniel was not so
00:53:45 this is a truism right so right
00:53:48 right yeah and so it’s
00:53:51 U and this actually Cuts both ways um
00:53:56 that
00:53:57 if the ruler hearkened to lies all his
00:53:58 servants are wicked it can cut both ways
00:54:01 because he could be listening he could
00:54:03 be hearkening to lies because that’s
00:54:05 what he’s surrounded with because his
00:54:06 servants are
00:54:09 wicked uh yeah yeah sure sure yes there
00:54:12 okay I see what you’re saying yeah
00:54:14 that’s true that’s very true because he
00:54:16 doesn’t know any better listening to
00:54:19 that’s that’s the thing with a truism is
00:54:21 that it often Cuts in two ways well and
00:54:24 then just as we’re doing the I the
00:54:27 opposite is a a ruler who Hawkens to the
00:54:30 truth his servants are righteous because
00:54:33 they follow in his footsteps right yes
00:54:36 and can also go the other way too as
00:54:38 Ben’s bringing up right for the so
00:54:41 truism all right good
00:54:43 times so I think it’s Zach’s
00:54:46 turn you want to read
00:54:48 Zach are you there I’m here
00:54:52 okay which one verse 13
00:54:59 the poor and the deceitful
00:55:01 man meet
00:55:03 together
00:55:04 y lighten both their
00:55:10 eyes so I I think this is going off how
00:55:13 Yahweh will uh Enlighten anybody and
00:55:18 everybody who’s willing to listen the
00:55:20 deceitful man that will repent and the
00:55:23 poor in heart that’s just listening to
00:55:25 him in the first place but in
00:55:27 addition um our conscious which a
00:55:30 deceitful man did listen to at one point
00:55:34 is the Light of Christ in them right
00:55:39 right okay I I could see that yeah all
00:55:43 right so yeah this is actually one of
00:55:45 those references to uh the Light of
00:55:49 Christ being in every
00:55:50 man yeah I I I think so that’s actually
00:55:55 yeah that’s a good point
00:55:58 yeah I mean that second part the Yahweh
00:56:02 lenth both her eyes yeah that that is a
00:56:05 direct in my opinion that’s a direct
00:56:07 pointing to the Light of Christ being in
00:56:10 all men yeah I and I do know the
00:56:14 scriptures say men but uh I am going to
00:56:17 change it to adults just because of
00:56:19 modern society understand fair enough
00:56:22 fair enough okay all right to make it
00:56:24 more understandable to the current Uh
00:56:27 current
00:56:29 Generation
00:56:33 generation okay fair enough okay so Zach
00:56:37 just read right right he read 13 the
00:56:41 king that Faithfully judges the poor his
00:56:43 throne shall be established
00:56:48 forever well that that’s just a
00:56:51 temporary time right
00:56:53 forever until someone dies Maybe
00:56:56 Throne whose Throne is is established
00:57:00 forever uh
00:57:02 yahs talking about the poor in heart he
00:57:05 is the king who Faithfully judgeth the
00:57:08 poor yes so I I do think uh this I do
00:57:12 think Dante because I do see uh meaning
00:57:16 in the poor in heart and the literal
00:57:19 poor so and there scriptures that
00:57:22 support both so I do think they’re
00:57:24 playing on both personally but yeah yep
00:57:29 and this is uh and this is so this the
00:57:34 thing is is that we’re supposed to get
00:57:35 to that point where we can Faithfully
00:57:37 judge the poor and our Dominion is
00:57:43 established
00:57:45 forever and forever is a very long
00:57:50 time now does that mean that we does
00:57:52 that make us God when that happens no
00:57:57 okay so let let’s
00:57:59 um I don’t like that word God that that
00:58:02 gives the idea of these Greek god and
00:58:06 right anyways um Elohim judge
00:58:11 will servant judges yes in fact you in
00:58:15 the New Testament right but it gets but
00:58:19 at the same time we’re not the Chie we
00:58:21 we will never be the chief Elohim uh
00:58:24 correct I I’m a lower I’m a lower J
00:58:27 judge not the capital J judge we will
00:58:30 never be we will never be the most high
00:58:33 Elohim correct and so um the reason I I
00:58:38 do think it’s important to clarify that
00:58:40 is because Yer in the New Testament in
00:58:42 modern
00:58:44 translations does say that we’re gods
00:58:46 and so does I think that’s from Psalms
00:58:49 and Propet I get them pick up it’s
00:58:51 probably Psalms Psalms 82 Psalm 82 yeah
00:58:55 yeah but it’s uh Elohim means judge and
00:58:58 Yahweh does make judges out IM Mortals
00:59:02 yes yep yep and he was talking to people
00:59:05 who made themselves judges
00:59:08 yeah and some translations of 821 talk
00:59:12 about the Divine
00:59:15 Council I well okay I I I don’t think I
00:59:20 don’t think that is a correct
00:59:21 translation well it depends on how you
00:59:24 want to understand that but anyways yeah
00:59:26 that’s that’s one that depends on that’s
00:59:28 one that depends on your TR on how
00:59:30 you’re understanding those
00:59:33 words if you’re understanding them in
00:59:35 the L typical LDS way you’re wrong uh
00:59:38 yeah I agree with that but if you’re
00:59:40 understanding them in the way that
00:59:41 you’re Council that you are a member
00:59:45 that you
00:59:46 have that you have taken upon you the
00:59:50 character name of yaha and
00:59:54 Yesa uh and therefore your counsel is
00:59:57 their
01:00:01 counsel because
01:00:03 you’re which is fine but anyways
01:00:07 let’s moving on from that that’s an
01:00:10 interesting kind of worms but yeah yeah
01:00:12 just gonna say that that that’s a that’s
01:00:17 itself translation and understanding so
01:00:21 um yeah that that gets into trans that
01:00:23 gets into translation issues and uh
01:00:27 it also and because there are
01:00:29 translation issues guess what no
01:00:32 no we have to be careful when we’re
01:00:35 studying the word to try to get back to
01:00:39 the original intent of the author uh
01:00:41 yeah and that includes uh bringing in
01:00:44 what’s been said from other places um so
01:00:46 right right I think 15 or yeah 15 15 yep
01:00:54 is it my turn yes okay the rod and
01:00:58 reproof give wisdom but a child love to
01:01:02 himself bringeth his mother to shame so
01:01:04 this is out how we need to correct our
01:01:07 children okay um yeah we’re not to be
01:01:11 their
01:01:12 buddy we to be their parent correct and
01:01:18 there is an idea nowadays that you need
01:01:20 to be their buddy and guess what they
01:01:22 they grow up with some issues we are
01:01:26 they go to jail anyways if you give a if
01:01:30 you give a child an inch they will take
01:01:33 a mile uh yes I have some I I’m very
01:01:36 well well I have had an idea for
01:01:40 this what’ you got what you got
01:01:43 Z the DNC
01:01:47 88
01:01:50 like do you remember it’s verse
01:01:57 it says
01:02:02 like here let’s pause I’m gonna pause
01:02:05 for a minute
01:02:08 okay okay so we found the verse that
01:02:10 isach was thinking of it’s DC 888 uh
01:02:15 3435 um and I’ll just read it again real
01:02:19 quick and again very on you that which
01:02:21 is governed by law is also preserved by
01:02:24 law or uh I’m going to restate this that
01:02:28 which is governed by Torah is also
01:02:30 preserved by Torah yeah preserved by
01:02:33 Torah um and there’s also that in mosiah
01:02:37 or 14 but anyways yep perfected and
01:02:41 Sanctified by the same
01:02:44 perfected Thou shalt be perfect or and
01:02:49 can also mean or or Sanctified by the
01:02:53 same that which br breth Torah and
01:02:57 abideth not by Torah but seeketh become
01:03:00 a unto himself and will to abide in sin
01:03:05 which is breaking Torah and all together
01:03:09 abide in
01:03:11 sin cannot be Sanctified by Torah
01:03:14 neither by Mercy neither by judgment oh
01:03:18 wait sorry neither by Justice neither by
01:03:22 judgment so there’s you’re you’re
01:03:24 screwed I’m sorry right you can’t
01:03:27 there’s no hope forve including Mercy
01:03:30 which is from Yeshua therefore they must
01:03:33 remain filthy still so to relate this
01:03:35 back to Proverbs
01:03:37 29 our reproofs should be by way of
01:03:40 teaching Torah uh correct but and also I
01:03:43 think it’s bringing out how our Repro
01:03:46 will prevent people or sorry not just
01:03:49 people our children in becoming that way
01:03:53 right um such
01:03:57 that they’re they’re not thinking they
01:04:00 can do it that will that is the whole
01:04:02 law right right right right and and so
01:04:07 so this is the thing is While most
01:04:10 children lack uh are not devel well
01:04:13 enough developed in terms of their
01:04:16 reasoning
01:04:17 capacity to be able to understand the
01:04:20 law very well before they’re seven or
01:04:23 eight well I yeah but it’s still you
01:04:26 still teaching still teaching yeah you
01:04:29 still you you you teach them by way you
01:04:33 you teach them by way of reproof before
01:04:37 that with
01:04:39 love with an increase of Love shown
01:04:43 afterwards I that’s something you should
01:04:45 be always be doing but anyways um yeah
01:04:51 but but after that point you can also
01:04:54 add in reasoning and you can add in all
01:04:58 these other things I I think you should
01:05:00 add reasoning from the very beginning to
01:05:02 be
01:05:03 honest anyways um that could be more of
01:05:08 a personal style I don’t know I I I
01:05:10 think it’s wise to from the beginning
01:05:14 but so let’s um this last part otherwise
01:05:18 you’ll bring shame to his mother now
01:05:21 this is a generality but when a child
01:05:24 goes wayward It generally affects the
01:05:27 mother more than the father Yes um that
01:05:30 is a generality but yes yeah I know that
01:05:33 I know that mother appeared far more
01:05:35 affected when Dan um lost the faith than
01:05:40 Dad
01:05:43 did
01:05:45 yeah and I know even in my own personal
01:05:48 life uh mothers take it worse um yeah
01:05:52 they do it’s it’s it’s much harder on
01:05:53 the mothers yes it’s a reality but I
01:05:57 mean these are truisms not absolutes
01:05:59 here so right right so if you’re if
01:06:02 you’re a dude who if you’re a dude who
01:06:04 had a hard time because your children
01:06:07 are
01:06:08 Wayward uh that we’re not saying
01:06:12 that this isn’t saying that um you don’t
01:06:16 experience the shame it’s is a truism
01:06:20 that’s talking about which is something
01:06:22 that is generally true which is talking
01:06:24 about the shame that a mother
01:06:27 feels guys and girls are
01:06:30 different leave it at that wrong with it
01:06:33 and they were and and they were meant to
01:06:34 be uh yes so but there is a little
01:06:39 crossover to some extent um but anyways
01:06:42 all right um I will read
01:06:44 16 uh when the wicked are multiplied
01:06:48 transgression increaseth and that’s just
01:06:50 a literalism uh but the righteous shall
01:06:53 see their fall
01:06:56 uh yeah so when there’s more wicked
01:06:59 there’s more
01:07:00 transgressions that’s a literalism right
01:07:03 there that is one of those cause and
01:07:06 effect statements right true the right
01:07:10 shall see and I’m instead say there I’m
01:07:12 GNA say the wickeds fall so right right
01:07:16 yeah it’s not going to be their own it’s
01:07:18 going to be the wickeds right correct
01:07:22 thy son and he shall give thee rest
01:07:26 yeah he shall give Delight unto thy
01:07:28 Soul you know this is why yah calls
01:07:36 teachers is to to provide correction for
01:07:40 those who would follow
01:07:43 him so what B’s going off is how son
01:07:46 also means followers okay
01:07:49 right and the person who accepts
01:07:53 correction I mean
01:07:56 yeah eventually you want to get to the
01:07:57 point where you accept correction with a
01:07:59 joyful heart but I can’t honestly say
01:08:02 that I’m always
01:08:04 there yeah uh
01:08:09 but you you want to get to that place
01:08:14 where you want to get to that place
01:08:16 where it matters more to
01:08:18 you that uh you’re coming closer to
01:08:22 Yeshua than that you’re than that
01:08:25 everybody sees that everything that you
01:08:27 do is
01:08:28 right or I I Peres what you do is right
01:08:34 right um so but
01:08:36 so Corrections are there for your
01:08:41 good and should be taken
01:08:44 seriously and if you do that you’ll find
01:08:47 peace and you’ll be a peace to your
01:08:52 teacher and you will BR glory to your
01:08:54 father and
01:08:56 Heaven yeah
01:08:58 um a a good teacher good father will
01:09:03 correct yeah and he won’t take in the
01:09:06 fear or I might lose if it’s a student
01:09:11 he he’s more concerned about the welfare
01:09:14 than keeping them right right right
01:09:17 because that if that student is going to
01:09:20 dump him because he corrects him that
01:09:22 student is not really interested in
01:09:24 actually
01:09:25 um well he’s not interested in learning
01:09:28 he’s he’s not interested in
01:09:30 becoming correct right um learning in
01:09:34 and of itself is worthless well actually
01:09:37 I’m going to change that learning is not
01:09:40 applied will actually condemn you it’s
01:09:43 worse than worthless it will condemn you
01:09:47 right know what is right and you don’t
01:09:49 do it because you’re just in the Greek
01:09:51 mindset well I just only have to know I
01:09:53 don’t have to do it it will condemn you
01:09:55 more
01:09:57 so learning in and of itself learning in
01:10:00 and of itself will not is not
01:10:03 helpful no without application without
01:10:06 application correct yeah you can know
01:10:10 all the stuff in the world go know how
01:10:13 everything
01:10:14 works from top to bottom but if you
01:10:17 don’t apply action it doesn’t mean a
01:10:19 thing right all the book all the book
01:10:22 smarts in the world unapplied will send
01:10:26 you to
01:10:27 hell yeah I
01:10:30 agree
01:10:32 yeah and um and Corrections and
01:10:36 Corrections are there to help you learn
01:10:37 how to apply them correctly correct and
01:10:41 I when I see my sons get corrected and
01:10:44 take
01:10:46 it
01:10:47 um it is I don’t know about other
01:10:51 parents but it is a delight and even as
01:10:55 a teacher it is wonderful to see
01:10:59 students see the light see the light and
01:11:02 not just see but but the how you know
01:11:05 they see the light is because they apply
01:11:08 yeah yeah yeah yes I I agree I wasn’t
01:11:10 specific enough it is a delight it
01:11:14 really it is it is it’s it’s it’s very
01:11:18 very
01:11:20 satisfying and it does bring Delight to
01:11:22 your soul and it it it yeah and and
01:11:26 rest when you see the light turn when
01:11:28 you see the light turn on for
01:11:31 somebody it makes it uh when you see the
01:11:34 light turn on for somebody and then you
01:11:35 see them start to change their lives
01:11:38 accordingly to the light that they have
01:11:41 perceived it
01:11:44 makes it makes all the other people it
01:11:47 makes it makes the people who call you
01:11:50 names and uh tell you how stupid you are
01:11:53 and how you’re in remedial class classes
01:11:55 because you’re obeying
01:11:57 Torah yeah it makes it go away when when
01:12:00 you finally get to help someone to see
01:12:02 the light and they start doing it it’s
01:12:05 all worth it
01:12:09 right it it’s it’s wonderful but
01:12:13 yeah all right so I forget whose turn it
01:12:15 is mine now okay or is it Zach oh maybe
01:12:19 it’s Z is it your turn
01:12:23 Zach I don’t know but I’ll go
01:12:25 [Laughter]
01:12:28 okay where there is no vision the people
01:12:31 perish but he that keepeth the law happy
01:12:34 is he oh oh
01:12:36 oh where there is no vision he that
01:12:39 keepeth the
01:12:41 law Vision
01:12:44 law wait they go
01:12:47 together
01:12:49 so yah’s ways gives you purpose AKA
01:12:56 Vision
01:12:59 yepo just um let’s just out of my own
01:13:03 curiosity let’s go look at the um Hebrew
01:13:07 behind
01:13:10 it yeah no I’m just curious I I mean
01:13:15 because English is a translation people
01:13:18 just yeah but yeah they the bi the the
01:13:21 Hebrews weren’t writing their Old
01:13:24 Testament in English
01:13:27 you sound like a Keem Jan’s only person
01:13:29 there I just said they
01:13:32 weren’t oh yeah sorry were I’ve but if
01:13:35 he said okay so I thought you heard
01:13:38 something say that Old Testament was
01:13:40 written in English and so that sounds
01:13:42 like King James only people if I had
01:13:45 said that I would I would have had to
01:13:48 asked Josh to reach through the computer
01:13:49 screen and slap
01:13:51 me no I would just I that’s that’s too
01:13:55 much work I would have just told you to
01:13:56 smack
01:14:00 yourself all right let’s see so no where
01:14:04 there is no reation no Revelation cast
01:14:07 off restraint okay so meaning uh those
01:14:11 who don’t have the word of God just do
01:14:13 whatever the hell they want
01:14:15 right constrain is do as th Wilt yeah
01:14:19 but who the people who keep the law are
01:14:21 happy keep the law are happy and so this
01:14:25 so this is actually just a really bad
01:14:27 translation yeah that was a bad
01:14:29 translation um wow
01:14:34 regardless for me it’s getting to the
01:14:36 point where I don’t care so much if it
01:14:38 was malicious or if it wasn’t it’s just
01:14:40 a bad translation bad translation is
01:14:43 bad yeah I because sometimes it’s hard
01:14:45 to know their motivations I mean
01:14:48 sometimes I think it’s maybe a little
01:14:49 more obvious but even then we’re still
01:14:50 guessing right but so so so to me it’s
01:14:53 just a bad translation
01:14:55 okay so now we can throw out the bad
01:14:57 translation and we can understand that
01:14:59 what they were talking about there is if
01:15:00 you keep Torah those who don’t keep
01:15:02 Torah do whatever they want and go to
01:15:04 hell and those who do keep Torah are
01:15:07 happy yeah yeah uh that’s uh much
01:15:11 simpler so all right I like that I like
01:15:14 that I like that translation
01:15:18 better I did add the go to hell part but
01:15:22 still yeah I I I better watch myself I’m
01:15:26 adding to and take well that part was
01:15:28 glyph I saw it
01:15:32 okay all right Ben it’s your go a
01:15:36 servant will not be corrected by words
01:15:38 for though he understand he will not
01:15:42 answer so we could go check it because
01:15:45 that’s a little weird but my first
01:15:46 inclination is uh a servant will copy
01:15:49 what the master does not what he says oh
01:15:53 yeah
01:15:56 I say not as I do right
01:15:59 okay but this also points to those
01:16:01 things where the sun is saying I do
01:16:03 nothing but what I have seen the father
01:16:05 do yeah I can see that yeah okay yeah
01:16:09 Yesa is basically kind of citing this
01:16:12 kind of wisdom when he says that I see
01:16:14 nothing but what I’ve seen the father do
01:16:16 before me right let’s see not by mere Al
01:16:21 words I would say alone will be
01:16:24 corrected servant be corrected or though
01:16:27 he understands he will not
01:16:30 respond okay so I do think this is goes
01:16:32 along how he uh in addition to words he
01:16:35 needs a a an example of he needs a
01:16:38 demonstration yeah and this is actually
01:16:41 wisdom and this is actually wisdom and
01:16:43 when you are applying
01:16:45 correction
01:16:48 show show the right way yeah yeah
01:16:53 um so there is is a uh uh LDS president
01:16:58 false propit that he used to say
01:17:01 something along the
01:17:03 lines uh share the gospel use words if
01:17:06 necessary uh that is an actual nice
01:17:08 statement it goes along with this
01:17:09 proverb here right y right the thing is
01:17:13 is that
01:17:14 words words are words are helpful if
01:17:17 they’re not if you’re actions aren’t
01:17:19 distracting people right as in your
01:17:23 actions better be following what your
01:17:25 words are right yeah kind of like uh
01:17:29 elma’s son when they went preaching the
01:17:31 gospel to the zoramites and he went a
01:17:35 horin yeah went
01:17:37 yeah yeah I’m going to avoid I’m going
01:17:40 to avoid the street words yeah anyways
01:17:44 so uh Elma did repent of that though but
01:17:51 cor Cory Anon yeah not cor cor hor did
01:17:54 not repent he met a horrible man Anon
01:17:57 elma’s son was the one who he did repent
01:18:00 yes he rep okay so maybe I’m getting a
01:18:03 little confused in which instance but
01:18:04 anyways um that’s fine uh so I think
01:18:08 it’s my turn for 20 yeah okay seest thou
01:18:13 a man that is Hasty in his words there
01:18:16 is more hope of a fool than of him so um
01:18:21 I I I would say foolish is a better
01:18:24 translation just because the technical
01:18:26 term what full is but anyways so foolish
01:18:30 man yeah of a foolish man yeah yeah yeah
01:18:33 um yeah so this is someone that speaks
01:18:36 before they
01:18:42 think there is moreo
01:18:45 for someone who’s just being foolish
01:18:50 than someone who says something before
01:18:52 they think
01:18:54 saying be careful with your words yeah
01:18:58 basically Bob
01:19:02 anyways oops I called somebody out I’m
01:19:04 sorry I’m sorry I shouldn’t have done
01:19:05 that my bad no but nobody’s gonna have
01:19:08 any context on that so yeah that’s
01:19:13 true so I this is saying be careful with
01:19:15 your words right yes yes um don’t it it
01:19:20 is best to think about what you say than
01:19:22 to have than to fill then to be
01:19:25 regretful for what you have said uh yeah
01:19:29 you don’t need to fill up space with
01:19:32 word solids so we’ll leave it at
01:19:37 that okay so uh verse
01:19:40 21 uh he that delicately bringeth up his
01:19:44 servant from a child shall have him
01:19:46 become his son at
01:19:50 length
01:19:52 oh okay so I I think this possibly is
01:19:57 going along how
01:20:00 um someone who has gone into a servant
01:20:04 toe that then love his Masters and stays
01:20:07 there and as in becoming an adopted son
01:20:11 and son means follower or or servant so
01:20:14 he that bringeth up his servant from
01:20:17 when he was a
01:20:19 child right shall have him become his
01:20:22 son forever
01:20:25 right Assuming he’s doing it well and
01:20:28 correctly and stuff right well and this
01:20:31 and you actually see this with the way
01:20:34 with what has happened with all the holy
01:20:36 prophets from the time from time IM
01:20:39 Memorial because those who are his
01:20:44 servants uh he does uh let me
01:20:49 see he does bring them up I wouldn’t say
01:20:53 delicately but he brings brings them up
01:20:56 purposefully and there’s a certain level
01:20:59 there’s a certain level of
01:21:01 um there’s a certain level of that
01:21:05 indicated with the the idea of delicate
01:21:08 of
01:21:09 delicately sure let’s just in Spring it
01:21:12 let’s just go
01:21:17 look Pampers his servant from
01:21:20 childhood will have him as a son in the
01:21:23 end
01:21:25 that’s what I read
01:21:27 there okay to be who honors the Free
01:21:29 Will of his servant yeah I would the the
01:21:33 free or free agency Free Will He Who
01:21:36 honors the Free Will of his servant will
01:21:39 have a son yeah I I would say God honors
01:21:43 everyone’s free will yeah so meaning
01:21:47 Freedom or Liberty so mean that would be
01:21:50 going along the ability to choose y
01:21:54 will would be a better
01:21:56 translation
01:21:58 yep yeah okay all
01:22:01 right that’s pretty cool Pak all
01:22:09 right I think it’s Zach’s
01:22:12 turn
01:22:15 yes which
01:22:21 one2 you say 22 yes
01:22:25 okay an angry man stirreth up strife and
01:22:29 a furious man aboundeth in
01:22:31 transgression yeah that’s
01:22:33 true yeah so an angry man likes to uh
01:22:37 fight that’s what the Strife is right
01:22:40 yep and a furious man will do whatever
01:22:43 he can including sinning to get back at
01:22:46 people
01:22:48 yep yep yep yep yep in general Furious
01:22:52 is worse than angry right
01:22:55 right right
01:22:56 over I do believe that if we look that
01:22:59 up in the dictionary you’ll find that
01:23:00 it’s extreme
01:23:02 anger okay one that could one that could
01:23:04 potentially lead to you know
01:23:07 Murder uh sure I can see that let’s just
01:23:10 let’s do a look quick yeah let’s let’s
01:23:14 look that
01:23:20 up I spelled it wrong anyways I was
01:23:22 close enough for the computer to figure
01:23:24 out
01:23:28 uh
01:23:30 rushing with with
01:23:33 impetuosity oh
01:23:35 boy moving to impetuosity means
01:23:38 thoughtless action right yes okay thank
01:23:42 you B I had no idea what that
01:23:45 was moving with violence uh yeah so it’s
01:23:50 worse than anger it’s raging violence
01:23:54 violent yeah transported with
01:23:59 passion as in transported from thought
01:24:02 to uh physical there
01:24:06 right yeah it’s it’s
01:24:09 worse it’s a lot worse Furious animal
01:24:13 yeah okay so that’s yeah it’s that’s
01:24:17 that and that would cause the sin
01:24:20 iniquity there right yep yep it sure
01:24:23 would
01:24:25 um
01:24:28 okay so now there is such a thing as
01:24:31 righteous anger uh yes but that’s not
01:24:34 what this is going off of but yes right
01:24:36 yeah but there is but that’s why this is
01:24:39 a
01:24:40 truism because there is such a thing as
01:24:42 righteous anger and Elijah did slay
01:24:46 loing off the heads of the priests of B
01:24:49 the priests of Bob in Israel I’d be
01:24:52 interested I’d be interested think he
01:24:54 was angry when he did that though I
01:24:56 would be interested to see if there’s a
01:24:59 difference between angry and wrath okay
01:25:03 let’s we’ll do that um but as in to
01:25:06 support Ben real quick uh the scripture
01:25:09 St that we are to be slow to
01:25:12 angry it does not say that we are to
01:25:15 never be angry right right to anger so
01:25:19 I’m I’m just curious what’s the
01:25:21 difference between anger and wrath well
01:25:23 let’s go find find
01:25:25 out so uh do you want me to do anger
01:25:28 first sure uh I’m going to say wrath is
01:25:31 worse it’s going to be my quick
01:25:35 guess more than likely uh but we’ll see
01:25:40 at the very least it’s perceived on in a
01:25:42 darker light so you want to read passion
01:25:46 oh look at that a viant passion of the
01:25:49 mind so this
01:25:52 isced by a real ored injury so this is
01:25:55 this is more to do with your
01:25:57 psychological State than a physical
01:26:00 state
01:26:02 yeah
01:26:07 right all right so what what is wrath
01:26:11 then let’s take a look at
01:26:15 wrath violent anger so that is worse so
01:26:18 it’s the same as uh furiosity almost
01:26:23 it’s well not necessarily
01:26:29 because how do you be violent in your
01:26:33 head no no no I’m saying no I’m not I’m
01:26:36 not comparing it to I I was I was
01:26:39 thinking about how it um compared to
01:26:43 ferocity oh oh okay because it’s a VI it
01:26:47 says violent
01:26:49 anger so anger is not so obviously anger
01:26:52 can’t just be a head thing
01:26:56 uh sure sure um well that’s where it
01:26:59 starts that’s where it starts but yeah
01:27:01 anger even that one prover said anger
01:27:04 with fighting right yeah
01:27:08 right but I I do think wrath is a
01:27:11 greater
01:27:12 degree right and it is interesting to
01:27:17 look at this it says definition three
01:27:19 the just punishment of an offense or
01:27:23 crime
01:27:25 as and that one would be going with the
01:27:27 wrath of Elohim right yeah because uh
01:27:32 that one would be because of a
01:27:34 punishment that’s well deserved um right
01:27:37 you yeah but it could still go I would
01:27:41 say wrath is more extreme punishment
01:27:44 than just
01:27:46 punishment yeah yeah yeah it’s it’s it’s
01:27:49 punishment St on it yeah it’s punishment
01:27:53 that you
01:27:54 it’s punishment that you’ve earned by
01:27:56 ignoring all the warnings all of the uh
01:28:00 reproofs all you stiffen your
01:28:04 neck and chosen to
01:28:09 sin oh and stay there and it’s a serious
01:28:13 wrath uh goes along with
01:28:16 serious right yeah okay that I I was
01:28:19 just curious about those words yeah
01:28:24 Let’s uh so let’s go back to
01:28:27 Proverbs
01:28:30 okay 23 I think man’s Pride a man’s
01:28:35 Pride shall bring him low but honor
01:28:37 shall uphold the humble in
01:28:40 spirit
01:28:43 yeah so this reminds me
01:28:47 of uh Joseph of Egypt’s dream where the
01:28:53 wick
01:28:54 was brought low and the righteous was
01:29:00 held up right this also goes along which
01:29:03 goes along with Joseph’s uh the two
01:29:06 dreams that he interpreted which I’m
01:29:07 getting at a prophecy of the two um
01:29:11 kernals on the cross one got upheld and
01:29:14 told would be seen in Paradise other one
01:29:17 went to hell or outer Darkness right or
01:29:21 prison whatever your favorite term for
01:29:23 it is whatever you want to call it right
01:29:25 yeah
01:29:27 yeah I think we understand either way
01:29:30 sure
01:29:32 yes okay so that’s so that’s that but
01:29:36 here’s the thing I what I like here is
01:29:38 honor shall uphold the humble in spirit
01:29:40 what is the source of yaha’s
01:29:45 power Torah his
01:29:48 H keeping Torah yep it’s his honor yeah
01:29:53 and that’s that’s what is honor is is
01:29:55 yep is keeping
01:29:58 Torah upholds The Humble Torah upholds
01:30:03 the meek the lowly in
01:30:08 spirit right or once again going back to
01:30:12 the
01:30:13 Beatitudes
01:30:15 correct yep yep yep yep yeah and it also
01:30:19 kind of goes back to D 3435 read with
01:30:24 bir Zach oh yeah yeah yeah yeah
01:30:28 yeah and the proud man will find himself
01:30:31 in outer
01:30:32 Darkness oh yeah yeah real quick and
01:30:37 there’s that funny word
01:30:40 forever yeah it’s Eternal punishment
01:30:42 that just means it’s God’s punishment
01:30:45 yeah I mean even just that word right
01:30:46 there gets rid of the food known as
01:30:51 reincarnation or morple multi multiple
01:30:54 mortal probations yeah get out of here
01:30:56 with that yeah uh that just that word
01:31:00 forever is really sticky there yeah
01:31:03 right I mean how many times in the Bible
01:31:07 does it have to say forever before
01:31:08 people will actually start take how many
01:31:10 times in God’s word does it have to say
01:31:12 that something is forever before people
01:31:14 start taking god seriously uh I think
01:31:17 some people it will take
01:31:20 forever I see what I see what you did
01:31:24 there
01:31:28 yeah yeah unfortunately for them forever
01:31:31 is a very long time yeah it it and
01:31:35 nothing’s going to change at that point
01:31:37 so forever not only is forever a very
01:31:40 long
01:31:41 time but that’s a very long time to have
01:31:45 to live with regret well so I’m partly
01:31:49 kidding here but partly serious they
01:31:52 could be with their buddy doing his
01:31:56 symbol oh
01:32:01 yep yep they
01:32:05 could I I it’s sad to see that symbol
01:32:08 get more popular in supposed religious
01:32:12 Crow yeah I know it’s I I think most
01:32:15 people don’t know what it is but they
01:32:17 also don’t want to hear what it is so
01:32:20 no
01:32:22 yeah anyway well that’s to yeah that
01:32:25 that would require them to think that
01:32:27 requires people to think a little bit
01:32:29 about their what they’re affiliating
01:32:31 themselves with uh yeah anyway so uh I
01:32:34 think Zach’s turns 24 Zach
01:32:39 24 whoo is partner with a thief fadeth
01:32:43 his own soul he heareth cursing
01:32:48 and beath or not okay so let’s find out
01:32:52 what bath means
01:32:55 okay um I’m pretty sure I’m going to
01:32:57 spell that wrong but uh when I get it
01:32:59 wrong if the computer can’t figure me
01:33:02 out
01:33:08 uh oh did it get
01:33:12 it no
01:33:14 no okay okay so
01:33:18 WR
01:33:20 a
01:33:22 y oh have
01:33:25 beray you want beray or beray let’s do
01:33:28 beray beray
01:33:32 okay to disclose perfidiously to betray
01:33:37 oh okay so betrayal okay
01:33:41 yeah
01:33:43 okay I kind of thought that might be
01:33:45 what it was but I wasn’t
01:33:50 sure I wanted to be sure before I said
01:33:52 something sure
01:33:58 so so this
01:34:01 is
01:34:04 those he heareth cursing and betrayeth
01:34:07 it not so he’s he
01:34:11 doesn’t so that’s an interesting that’s
01:34:14 an interesting turn of phrase there he
01:34:16 doesn’t betray the
01:34:17 cursor so he hears he hears evil
01:34:20 speaking let me let’s go look at it in
01:34:22 the inter linear real quick okay before
01:34:24 we yeah let’s okay
01:34:33 yeah whoever is partnered with a thief
01:34:36 hates his own life he is an oath but
01:34:39 reveals
01:34:40 nothing no uh here okay whoever is a
01:34:44 partner with it hates his own life and O
01:34:47 he
01:34:48 hears nothing warning against secret he
01:34:52 doesn’t take the leaving no no no no he
01:34:55 hear so he an oath he hears but nothing
01:35:01 reveals this is talking about secret
01:35:03 combin the bottom
01:35:06 okay this is talking about secret
01:35:09 combinations oh yeah yeah okay yeah okay
01:35:12 that makes sense okay that makes a
01:35:14 little bit more sense and basically what
01:35:16 this is stating and this is true you can
01:35:20 take it to the bank in the and those who
01:35:25 are involved with secret combinations
01:35:27 will have shown themselves to hate their
01:35:31 lives yeah
01:35:34 yeah they will die eternally in the fire
01:35:40 Brimstone after a while uh they even
01:35:44 hate themselves even while they’re alive
01:35:46 because they they don’t like into they
01:35:50 will Fain have the mountains fall on
01:35:52 them and cover them up to hide their
01:35:54 wickedness from before the eyes of
01:35:57 Yahweh and then yeh will Stone them and
01:36:00 give them their wish
01:36:02 exactly y a stum
01:36:07 forever and there’s that word again man
01:36:10 it just keeps popping up I I will I know
01:36:14 this is going to sound weird but they
01:36:16 he’ll Stone them in the center of the
01:36:18 earth
01:36:20 yeah which and Kora is an example of
01:36:24 that from the old test oh yeah he he and
01:36:29 all who followed him were buried in the
01:36:32 Earth because they were Levites sworn to
01:36:36 the Lord sworn to the service sworn to
01:36:40 uphold Torah and they
01:36:43 decided not to not not not only to not
01:36:47 but to compl completely turn their back
01:36:49 on
01:36:50 it so on it’s Authority
01:36:54 I he was coveting Authority yeah right
01:36:59 he he was plotting to take down yahweh’s
01:37:03 authorized leader yeah correct oh which
01:37:06 by the way means that yah does have
01:37:09 anointed servants
01:37:12 yeah there’s another one coming soon um
01:37:16 so whoever he is please listen to him
01:37:20 okay um will not be able to replace
01:37:23 Place him you well if you if you want
01:37:28 someone else you you have the right to
01:37:30 do that but you don’t get the right to
01:37:32 choose the consequences you want
01:37:34 somebody else yeah if you want somebody
01:37:36 else you can choose whatever you want
01:37:39 but that person is not the Lord’s
01:37:40 anointed yes your your your your choice
01:37:44 of who you follow does not obviate you
01:37:47 from the consequences of that choice
01:37:50 correct there will and there and the
01:37:52 time is going to come
01:37:55 soon where it is uh pretty soon in fact
01:37:59 I have some timings you may want to go
01:38:01 consider looking at and thinking about
01:38:04 but anyways the time is coming soon yeah
01:38:08 where people will have to decide if
01:38:10 truth is their Authority or if they’re
01:38:13 going
01:38:15 to make Authority their
01:38:18 Truth uh correct um and I I try to make
01:38:24 Truth For The Authority myself I’m
01:38:28 anyways yeah but think uh your Insight
01:38:33 about this being about the secret
01:38:34 combinations is correct it makes it just
01:38:37 clears it up makes it a heck of a lot
01:38:39 easier to understand yes that was that’s
01:38:43 a good that’s a good
01:38:45 Insight don’t get involved in secret
01:38:47 combinations to get power gain or for
01:38:50 any other reason but yeah just don’t
01:38:53 even try to get into him to spy and
01:38:56 that’s that’s a dangerous business uh
01:38:58 there’s better take care of it so y yep
01:39:02 um all right Stephen I think 25 okay the
01:39:07 fear of man bringeth a snare or so uh
01:39:12 this could be I think it’s more
01:39:13 reverence um to be honest but anyways
01:39:16 the reverence of man bringeth a snare
01:39:18 but whosoever putteth his trust in
01:39:20 Yahweh shall be Sav so this is another
01:39:23 way don’t of saying don’t trust on the
01:39:25 arm of Flesh well yes it is uh now
01:39:29 here’s another thing
01:39:30 Stephen not
01:39:33 everybody is immune to literally fearing
01:39:40 man sure sure I can see how it could be
01:39:43 fear or rever and they both have a place
01:39:45 here right so right right right right
01:39:49 yep um don’t put your don’t put your
01:39:51 trust in the arm of Flesh trust in
01:39:55 Yahweh yeah and you will be
01:39:59 safe yeah that’s just stated Point
01:40:04 Blank yeah and soul will be safe which
01:40:09 is the most important thing yes there
01:40:12 are a lot of times that um there’s
01:40:16 examples of both of Yahweh protecting
01:40:19 and not protecting his servants um I yes
01:40:22 I agree I mean abinadi he was protected
01:40:25 until his mission was done and then he
01:40:27 he uh he died a horrible death uh yes
01:40:31 and speaking of the coming anointed
01:40:35 leader uh and leaders actually um
01:40:38 because the mind strong was going to
01:40:40 have helpers with them but
01:40:45 um he’s gonna die
01:40:48 yeah and he’s not gonna die he’s gonna
01:40:51 die he’s gonna be killed well it’s going
01:40:55 to be murdered right let’s be a little
01:40:59 sorry it’s because they’ll have no
01:41:01 justification for it so it’s murder
01:41:03 right right but I mean it’s not like
01:41:05 he’s going to pass away peacefully in
01:41:07 the night he’s gonna die death well yeah
01:41:11 and I I do believe Ben’s theory that
01:41:13 they’re probably going to be an ult
01:41:14 ritual and his murder and erands his
01:41:18 helper religious helper um right so um
01:41:24 I don’t think it’s going to be pretty um
01:41:27 but just like Yahweh protected abinadi
01:41:30 until it was time uh y will protect the
01:41:32 mighty strong one till it’s time now the
01:41:35 mighty strong one does have a little
01:41:36 Advantage he gets a three and a half day
01:41:38 break for then he’s coming back
01:41:43 so
01:41:44 that’s yeah didn’t that’s great I get to
01:41:48 take a dirt nap we get the guy gets to
01:41:50 take a dirt nap for three and a half
01:41:51 days uh no it’s not going to be quite a
01:41:54 dirt M he’s actually gets to go to the
01:41:56 throne of Yahweh which I think will be a
01:41:59 little nicer than what he was just doing
01:42:01 but anyway that’s
01:42:03 true but still but still but I like that
01:42:08 I like that that phrase there at the end
01:42:10 of that but who so putteth his trust in
01:42:12 yeh shall be safe another way you could
01:42:16 read
01:42:18 that is
01:42:20 secure yeah fact let’s just just for the
01:42:23 fun of it since we’ve done it already
01:42:25 multiple times on some of these yeah why
01:42:28 not
01:42:32 yeah okay so there it says safe let’s
01:42:37 see be on high
01:42:40 exalted as
01:42:42 in yeah yeah I I think though in this
01:42:46 context I would put exalted as in um
01:42:51 saved Andor
01:42:53 um eternal life right depending yes well
01:42:57 depending on how you want to look at it
01:42:59 or you take so saved is being in the
01:43:03 Kingdom right I’m using it correctly and
01:43:06 eternal life is where you have Celestial
01:43:08 Glory right so right um more along this
01:43:13 I think exalted is more along the lines
01:43:15 of eternal life then
01:43:18 because I I tend to agree but I am
01:43:21 trying to leave a little leeway because
01:43:23 because
01:43:24 of I there are and this could go into
01:43:29 the closer definitions of the trust
01:43:32 because what level of trust right right
01:43:35 okay yeah well and and the thing is is
01:43:37 that your level of trust is shown by
01:43:39 your level of obedience uh yes and so I
01:43:44 I I’m just I’m trying to be careful with
01:43:47 that Nuance there is what I’m trying
01:43:48 gotta gotcha okay okay all right um and
01:43:51 I do think it’s uh better translation
01:43:54 than what they’re putting is just safe
01:43:56 right because the sa implies the
01:43:58 physical but the exalted goes about more
01:44:01 about the soul as I kind of brought out
01:44:03 right so right right right right and it
01:44:06 speaks to because the truth of the
01:44:10 matter is um you
01:44:15 know the Protestants who believe in
01:44:17 eternal
01:44:18 security have no clue about the
01:44:22 difference between it seem to have no
01:44:25 clue about the difference between
01:44:27 sanctification and
01:44:29 um justification justification
01:44:31 justification justification is all you
01:44:33 need you’re saved you’re in the Kingdom
01:44:34 of
01:44:35 Heaven um
01:44:37 so
01:44:39 know but I will say that uh most people
01:44:43 in any religion don’t know the
01:44:45 difference to be honest I was gonna say
01:44:48 but my my point my point is that in
01:44:51 various various Rel religions focus on
01:44:54 various
01:44:56 aspects
01:44:59 other uh the Restoration Church I grew
01:45:01 up in the LDS promite
01:45:03 church although they believe in The
01:45:06 Three Degrees Of Glory they have some
01:45:08 stuff messed up but at the same time
01:45:10 they didn’t they don’t know the
01:45:11 difference between justification and
01:45:13 sanctification yeah and they tend and
01:45:15 they tend to uh they tend to skip over
01:45:17 that that and and their weakness tends
01:45:20 to lie in the area of justification
01:45:25 uh their beliefs regarding
01:45:28 justification because
01:45:30 technically uh if if the signs if the
01:45:34 physical signs given to us in the uh
01:45:37 given to us in The Exodus are true and
01:45:40 are true
01:45:42 signs the justification comes with the
01:45:44 blood over the door and that was before
01:45:47 the sign of the
01:45:50 baptism uh okay so justifica so let’s
01:45:54 just review order here we uh first have
01:45:57 a desire to repent yes we then do the
01:46:02 physical water baptism to show that to
01:46:05 everybody which goes along how if you
01:46:07 don’t uh declare me to the world I won’t
01:46:11 declare you to the father right and then
01:46:14 if it was sincere Yahweh then then give
01:46:17 you the baptism of fire which is also
01:46:19 known as
01:46:20 justification right yeah so I I’m not
01:46:23 quite sure where you’re trying so so
01:46:26 what you so okay so there’s a difference
01:46:31 between in the kingdom and justification
01:46:33 then I I I to get in the Kingdom I think
01:46:36 you have to be
01:46:37 justified well then
01:46:42 um okay I’m not gonna yeah okay so let’s
01:46:47 pause for a
01:46:49 minute hold
01:46:50 on I
01:46:53 okay we’re back we we cleared it up um
01:46:56 so it’s just so much information that
01:46:59 you sometimes you lose track of a few
01:47:02 things yeah yeah so we’ll just clarify
01:47:06 um you need water
01:47:08 baptism uh to get into the yahweh’s
01:47:10 kingdom um so anyways we’ll leave it at
01:47:14 that there was all right verse 26 I
01:47:18 believe it’s my turn yes it is your turn
01:47:22 many seek the ruler’s favor but every
01:47:24 man’s judgment Cometh From yeh he is no
01:47:28 respector of persons I I like this many
01:47:33 seek the ruler’s
01:47:35 favor as everybody’s looking for another
01:47:39 judge another
01:47:41 Elohim besides
01:47:45 y right and along with that this is like
01:47:49 there’s um in fact this is there they’re
01:47:52 not looking for a judge they’re looking
01:47:55 for someone to give them favors as and
01:47:58 let them get away with
01:48:00 things but every man’s
01:48:03 judgment Cometh From y these people who
01:48:07 are looking for favors looking for an
01:48:09 easy way out because of who they
01:48:14 know
01:48:16 now A
01:48:18 righteous judge from Yahweh will do it
01:48:21 according to Yahweh
01:48:24 Torah which tells us how to judge which
01:48:27 means it is from Yahweh because it’s
01:48:31 just someone
01:48:33 enacting what Yahweh said to do all
01:48:36 right right okay yeah so there’s
01:48:38 actually there’s actually a verse in the
01:48:40 Bible that says there’s actually a verse
01:48:42 in the Bible that says that we’re being
01:48:43 trained to
01:48:46 judge yeah uh Yahweh wants us to be
01:48:48 judges in fact uh he wants all his
01:48:53 people the judge because we all need to
01:48:57 be judged right from wrong the other
01:49:00 thing is this the other thing is this
01:49:03 most you’re only supposed to apply to a
01:49:06 higher judge when you can’t adjudicate
01:49:08 the situation yourself right actually in
01:49:11 the
01:49:13 law uh multiple places um you try to
01:49:16 work out
01:49:17 yourself and the person you have the
01:49:20 wrong with if you can’t agree
01:49:23 within the bounds of
01:49:24 Torah um or within the degrees that you
01:49:27 guys are okay with right because it can
01:49:29 be less or more whatever it’s say if you
01:49:31 got can’t agree with it yourself you go
01:49:34 to a judge and he’s going to do it
01:49:35 according to what Yahweh says because
01:49:37 you couldn’t come to an agreement so
01:49:38 you’re going to agree to what Yahweh
01:49:41 says and if for some reason it’s too
01:49:43 hard for that judge it then um he’ll
01:49:48 give it to a judge that uh is more
01:49:50 trained than him and and and the higher
01:49:53 up you have to go the more the more
01:49:55 testy you knew it
01:49:59 was that’s a funny way of putting it I I
01:50:02 would say more
01:50:05 complicated yeah more complicated yeah I
01:50:09 mean that’s
01:50:10 fine anyways yeah well you know it’s
01:50:14 kind of like when something’s really
01:50:15 expensive I had a uh friend that I used
01:50:17 to make films with and he would say oh
01:50:20 that’s spendy no that’s expensive no
01:50:22 it’s
01:50:25 bendy different words for different
01:50:28 things test complicated okay here a
01:50:31 question here’s a question does testing
01:50:33 mean
01:50:35 complicated uh it was the best word that
01:50:37 I could come up with at the time okay
01:50:41 convey that
01:50:43 idea okay because I I don’t think if
01:50:46 testy is thinking complicated but
01:50:48 anyways anyways testy generally is
01:50:51 considered it’s a where
01:50:53 you’re testing people’s patience but
01:50:56 yeah uh yes that’s what I was thinking
01:50:58 that’s yeah that does make you
01:51:01 complicated right but I think it’s still
01:51:04 I yeah well a lot of the more
01:51:05 complicated a lot of the more
01:51:07 complicated cases will test your
01:51:11 patients uh okay so let’s they can they
01:51:14 can for a
01:51:16 judge yeah the judge should I I can
01:51:20 understand that for the common person
01:51:22 but for the judge he should just say I I
01:51:24 don’t know how to judge this I’m going
01:51:26 to pass it up yeah that’s true that’s
01:51:29 true so it shouldn’t be testing it in my
01:51:32 honest opinion it shouldn’t be testing
01:51:34 the judge’s patience it could be testing
01:51:37 the patience of those who want it
01:51:39 sooner yeah um but at the same time they
01:51:43 both want someone who’s competent they
01:51:46 just they both and and and they both
01:51:48 want something that they that both of
01:51:51 them can look at and say this was fair
01:51:53 and equable right which means trust that
01:51:57 judge’s judgment that is too complicated
01:51:59 for him and that’s why he pushed it up
01:52:01 yep right um so here we go an unjust man
01:52:05 is an Abomination to the
01:52:08 just and he that is upright in the way
01:52:11 is abomination to the
01:52:14 wicked uh I will say Amen to that
01:52:20 amen position there I don’t need to say
01:52:23 anything else it’s just well it’s just
01:52:26 how
01:52:28 the the last part is definitely so how
01:52:30 the wicked hate the
01:52:33 righteous right and the righteous are
01:52:37 trying to help the wicked fix their ways
01:52:40 right right but the the interesting
01:52:43 thing
01:52:44 is is this also points back to those
01:52:47 verses in Psalms that talk about how God
01:52:50 hates
01:52:52 the uh
01:52:54 sinner yeah um now that hatred turns to
01:52:59 love at the moment The Sinner
01:53:02 repents yeah yeah he wants and Peter
01:53:06 says that the reason
01:53:09 why it
01:53:12 seems that Yeshua has delayed his
01:53:17 coming is because he’s not desirous that
01:53:20 any of us should perish
01:53:23 yeah he he’s uh he’s being patient with
01:53:26 us yes very
01:53:29 patient and so so likewise even though
01:53:33 the Wicked Man is an Abomination to the
01:53:35 just we should be we must be patient
01:53:37 with
01:53:39 them uh be careful with the patience
01:53:42 because that doesn’t mean you keep
01:53:44 allowing them to do the wickedness to
01:53:46 you no that’s not what I’m I’m not it’s
01:53:50 not I’m not saying you I’m just
01:53:51 clarifying for other people yeah yeah
01:53:54 because there are other people listening
01:53:56 to this so yeah and may yeah and you
01:54:00 don’t want to think that we subscribe to
01:54:02 the that Grace May abound uh way of
01:54:05 looking at things sure or or uh the stay
01:54:08 in horrible circumstances um that no
01:54:11 right the the what but patience in
01:54:15 working with them to get them to
01:54:19 repent correct um right
01:54:23 because here’s the
01:54:26 truth if you just if you just pulled in
01:54:28 a breath there’s still hope for
01:54:32 you yeah as in you can repent until you
01:54:35 die yep yep after that once you but once
01:54:38 you die um you are where you are or or
01:54:43 you better hope for Lazarus
01:54:46 event yeah okay yeah yeah
01:54:50 yeah but that’s notely
01:54:52 but I
01:54:53 would wouldn’t count on it I wouldn’t
01:54:56 hold my
01:54:58 breath uh yeah so but yeah I was doing
01:55:01 that to be funny but um yeah the
01:55:04 likelihood of that happening to a wicked
01:55:06 man is very I don’t know To
01:55:11 None it’s not uh yeah
01:55:16 yeah yeah anyways but that’s this is the
01:55:20 thing
01:55:23 I you know I really think this is a
01:55:25 really great verse on which to end the
01:55:27 chapter is is this absolute statement of
01:55:31 fact
01:55:34 that righteousness and wickedness are
01:55:37 diametrically
01:55:39 opposed yeah they they hate other and
01:55:42 they hate each other now uh one is
01:55:45 trying to help the other while the other
01:55:47 is trying to take advantage yes y
01:55:52 or or make them look bad you know
01:55:54 because but or even kill them or even
01:55:58 kill them destroy them completely yeah
01:56:01 yeah yeah
01:56:03 um so anyways
01:56:08 yep I like it it’s a great way to end
01:56:10 the chapter yeah yeah so I think we’re
01:56:12 gonna stop now
