Summary:

Going over the symbolism with blessings in Deuteronomy 28. We are to hearken diligently to YHWH’s Torah. Moses is telling the people the commandments from YHWH. No one has the right to demand anything from YHWH wicked or righteous. Reviewing the 10 divisions of Torah in Mosiah. A peacemaker is someone who is preaching YHWH’s ways such that people can receive peace from YHWH. YHWH will not tell someone to break His Torah. Having YHWH’s commandments written on your heart is about you desiring them and doing them. One aspect of not taking YHWH’s name in vain, is when you claim to be a follower of His, you behave as He would behave. Claiming YHWH said something He didn’t is also taking YHWH’s name in vain. Regarding the weekly Sabbath, we are never told that you always go back to work the next day. We keep the weekly Sabbath to be like Yeshua. The first count of Pentecost / Shavuot is a count of 7 sabbaths. Talking about the 1828 Webster’s Dictionary definition of jealous. Honor those who are in authority over you. The 10 divisions of Torah are summaries. Thou shalt not kidnap. We can commit adultery against our spouse and YHWH Elohim. The 10 divisions of Torah are 5 principles that apply to YHWH and our neighbors and ourselves. Indigent servitude is different than slavery. Torah is a part of your salvation after you have accepted Yeshua. Going over the symbolism in the blessings. Scriptures have layers of meaning. The purpose of life is to come to Yeshua and keep His Torah and help others to do the same. Increase the peace from YHWH. Talking about missionary work and the church. John 4:35 shows that there are 4 inclusive moons between Passover and Pentecost / Shavuot, showing there are two counts. Justification and sanctification are part of becoming holy like YHWH is holy. YHWH already had the holy behavior before He came to Earth. The wicked will fear Zion. Israel did not put effort into teaching the world as they should have. The Pharisees perverted YHWH’s Torah. YHWH will make sure you have what you need to live. The Kingdom of Heaven will be here on Earth. In the Garden of Eden, before the fall, there was 4 divisions. YHWH will give you His peace. We can do tithing without Levitical priests, for one Torah brings out we are to give to the poor directly in addition to giving going through the priests. Interest is not against Torah. Nephi was made the leader of the people because he kept Torah as Deuteronomy 28:13 brings out. People don’t see Torah in the Book of Mormon, because they don’t know what Torah is.

00:00:02 all right. So, today, uh, Zach asked us
00:00:04 to go over some symbolism in Deuteronomy
00:00:07 28. Uh, just a quick overview.
00:00:09 Deuteronomy 28:29 are the blessings and
00:00:12 cursings for blessings for keeping the
00:00:15 commandments/ Torah and the cursings if
00:00:19 you don’t. Um, and they’re generally
00:00:23 opposites of each other. I would almost
00:00:25 say that it’s the prophecy for when they
00:00:27 don’t on another level.
00:00:31 Uh, I can see the word prophecy. Sure.
00:00:35 Um, I don’t know if I would quite use
00:00:38 prophecy though specifically because
00:00:42 this is a conditional and I do know
00:00:45 there are conditional prophecies, but I
00:00:49 this is not really worded as a prophecy.
00:00:52 These are just like this is what it is.
00:00:55 Yeah. This is what it is. This is going
00:00:57 to happen if you don’t do this. Right.
00:00:59 Right. But I can see why you use the
00:01:01 word prophecy. I just don’t think of it
00:01:03 that way. So, but sure. But anyways,

00:01:13 Sure. And it shall come to pass if thou
00:01:17 shalt hearken diligently. Oh, I like
00:01:20 that. Diligently unto the
00:01:23 voice. What’s hearken mean? Oh.
00:01:28 Oy, obey. Hear and obey. Hear and obey
00:01:33 and obey. And not just and diligently
00:01:36 like you’re really putting effort into
00:01:38 it, right?
00:01:40 Well, it’s not just really put and it’s
00:01:42 not just really putting effort into it
00:01:43 over a short period of time. Right.
00:01:46 Right. Yeah. It’s continually.
00:01:51 So if thou shalt hearken diligently unto
00:01:53 the
00:01:54 voice, excuse me, of
00:01:58 Yahweh
00:02:00 Elohu to observe and to do
00:02:04 all his commandments. Aren’t you sure?
00:02:07 Are you sure that’s all? Not just your
00:02:09 favorite ones. Wait, wait, wait. I I
00:02:11 just want to point out I just want to
00:02:13 point out how I just want to point out
00:02:14 how Moses is defining.
00:02:17 He’s defining what it means to hearken
00:02:19 diligently unto the voice of Ya Elohim.
00:02:23 Yes. Yeah. To observe and to do
00:02:28 all his
00:02:30 commandments which I Moses command thee
00:02:35 the congregation this day. Okay. Or in
00:02:38 other words, I have repeated this day.
00:02:42 Right? And also and also there’s this
00:02:45 and also there’s
00:02:46 this. It’s Moses speaking the
00:02:49 commandments. They’re not hearing them
00:02:51 from the voice of God directly. They I
00:02:53 mean they purposefully said, “Don’t let
00:02:56 God talk to us.” And God was like, “They
00:02:58 speak well.” Um but
00:03:01 uh but uh the Moses is the person who’s
00:03:06 delivering
00:03:08 these commandments and they’re
00:03:10 responsible to keep them. If you are a
00:03:13 wicked person who is not keeping the
00:03:15 commandments of Y, you have no right to
00:03:20 expect that Yahweh is going to give you
00:03:23 his personal your personal commandments.
00:03:26 Well, on top of that, even if you’re
00:03:28 righteous,
00:03:30 uh, as in striving to keep Torah, you
00:03:33 have no right to demand anything like
00:03:35 that from Yahweh either. Exactly.
00:03:38 Anyway, right. Yeah. You don’t you don’t
00:03:40 have a right to demand anything.
00:03:43 Correct. This is But this is But this is
00:03:46 Moses delivering these who has repeated
00:03:49 these commandments this day. Right.
00:03:51 Correct. Right. So, okay. So uh uh to
00:03:54 observe and to do
00:03:56 all his Yahweh’s commandments which I
00:04:01 Moses command thee the congregation this
00:04:05 day.
00:04:06 Hey Elenu will set thee on high above
00:04:10 all nations of the earth. Hey guys, I
00:04:14 got a question. Um what are these
00:04:17 commandments that he’s commanded this
00:04:19 day? Should we go to Mosiah chapter 12?
00:04:23 We can do that real quick if you want.
00:04:25 Yeah, let’s do that. But it’s later in
00:04:28 the chapter of Mosiah 12 with the
00:04:30 command. I I I know exactly where to
00:04:33 pick it up.

00:04:50 verse I want to start at verse 20. Verse
00:04:53 20.
00:04:54 Okay, there we go.
00:04:57 And it came to pass that one of them,
00:05:00 the priests of Noah, said unto him,
00:05:03 Abinadi, “What meanth the words which
00:05:05 are written, which have been taught by
00:05:07 our fathers, saying, How beautiful upon
00:05:09 the mountains are the feet of him that
00:05:11 bringeth good tidings, that publisheth
00:05:13 peace, that bringeth good tidings of
00:05:15 good, that publisheth salvation, that
00:05:19 saith unto Zion, thy God reignth.” Oh,
00:05:22 unless Ben wants to say something, I
00:05:24 want to interrupt a little bit. Yeah, go
00:05:25 for it. So what is this? Bringeth
00:05:29 publishing peace and bringeth good
00:05:31 tidings. So this has to do with a
00:05:34 peacemaker and a peacemaker is someone
00:05:36 who teaches Yahweh’s ways such that they
00:05:39 can get peace from Yahweh which also
00:05:42 goes along with publishes salvation.
00:05:44 They’re he’s teaching people how to
00:05:48 receive salvation through Yahweh
00:05:51 um Yeshua,
00:05:53 which is where the peace comes from. I
00:05:56 can’t think of how many times I’ve heard
00:05:58 this in BLDS meetings, Brigamite LDS
00:06:01 meetings, where they talk about how
00:06:03 they’re Zion, and we need to publish
00:06:06 peace about them and bring good tidings
00:06:08 about them. Thy watchmen shall lift up
00:06:11 the voice with the voice together shall
00:06:13 they sing. For they shall see eye to eye
00:06:15 when Yahwa shall bring again Zion. Oh,
00:06:18 wait a minute. Look at this. When Zion
00:06:21 comes, I’ll see again because in Zion,
00:06:23 everything’s going to be off of Torah.
00:06:27 Right. But yeah, and that’s and and
00:06:30 these people are citing this terribly.
00:06:33 It doesn’t back them up at all. Oh,
00:06:36 yeah. They’re twisting it. horribly
00:06:38 condemns them. Break forth into joy.
00:06:41 Sing together, ye waste places of
00:06:43 Jerusalem. For Yahwa hath comforted his
00:06:46 people, that’s us here, who are
00:06:48 committing adultery and doing all these
00:06:50 terrible things, but building great
00:06:52 temples. He hath redeemed Jerusalem.
00:06:56 Uh well, they haven’t done that. Um so
00:07:00 whatever they say about this other part,
00:07:01 they’re not doing for sure. They haven’t
00:07:03 redeemed Jerusalem. They have absolutely
00:07:06 not redeemed Jerusalem. They’re teaching
00:07:08 people to in fact they’re teaching
00:07:10 people to double down on their sins and
00:07:11 forsake faith in Yaha. Uh Yoha have made
00:07:16 Baris holy. Okay, so let’s just be
00:07:18 careful because I I agree. They don’t
00:07:20 really teach Yahweh’s ways, but they
00:07:23 don’t they’re clever in how they say
00:07:26 what Ben is. They’re teaching people
00:07:27 that that medicine is the that
00:07:30 medicine’s the miracles of Yoko. So I I
00:07:32 get it. I get it. I I do hear not
00:07:35 everybody’s gonna see it that way. So,
00:07:38 good caution. Good caution. Yeah. Yeah.
00:07:39 I I I So, ultimately, I do agree with
00:07:42 you, Ben, but for someone who’s not
00:07:44 where we’re at, um, we need to be
00:07:47 careful how we say it. Yeah. Yeah. I I
00:07:49 get it. Not everybody’s going to see it
00:07:50 that way. Um, Yahweh have made his holy
00:07:54 arm in the eyes of all the nations, and
00:07:56 all the ends of the earth shall see the
00:07:58 salvation of their God. Now, Abinad said
00:08:00 unto them, now I I will say this. This
00:08:05 ultimately is pointing to Zion and
00:08:08 everything that goes along with that.
00:08:09 Yeah. Yes, it is. It absolutely is.
00:08:12 Agreed. And now Abenadi said unto them,
00:08:14 “Are you priests and pretend to teach
00:08:17 this people and to understand the spirit
00:08:19 of prophesying and yet desire to know of
00:08:22 me what these things
00:08:24 mean? I say unto you, woe be unto you
00:08:26 for perverting the ways of Yahw. For if
00:08:29 you had for if you understand these
00:08:31 things, ye have not taught them.
00:08:33 Therefore, ye have perverted the ways of
00:08:35 Yah. You have not applied your hearts to
00:08:38 understanding. Therefore, you have not
00:08:40 been wise. Therefore, what teach you
00:08:42 this people? And they say, we teach the
00:08:43 law. And they said, uh uh we teach the
00:08:46 law of
00:08:47 Moses. And again, he said unto them, if
00:08:51 you teach the law of Moses, why do you
00:08:53 not keep it? Why do you set your hearts
00:08:56 upon riches? Why do you commit whoredoms
00:08:58 and spend your strength with harlots?
00:09:01 Yay. And causes people to commit sin,
00:09:03 but Yahweh have caused to send me to
00:09:05 prophesy against this people. Yay, even
00:09:07 a great evil against this people. Know
00:09:09 ye not that I speak the truth? Yay, ye
00:09:11 know that I speak the truth. And ye not
00:09:14 to tremble before
00:09:16 Elohim. And it shall come to pass, ye
00:09:19 shall be smitten for your iniquities.
00:09:20 For ye have said that you teach the law
00:09:22 of Moses. And what say you concerning
00:09:24 the law of Moses? Does salvation come by
00:09:27 the law of Moses?
00:09:29 What say ye? Now, real
00:09:32 quick, he is
00:09:35 literally teaching in confidence. He is
00:09:39 prophesying against the people and he’s
00:09:41 prophesying the back half of Deuteronomy
00:09:44 chapter 28. I will just put that
00:09:47 disclaimer in there. If you if you read
00:09:52 further past this moment, you will
00:09:55 realize that all of the prophe of the
00:09:58 prophecies against those who do not live
00:10:02 Torah happened to the people that he is
00:10:05 prophesying against right now.
00:10:08 later in the later in the in this part
00:10:12 of the history in the Book of
00:10:14 Mormon. All of the all of the cursings
00:10:17 that we find in chapter
00:10:19 28, you see happen to these
00:10:24 people. But carry on. And they answered
00:10:26 and said that salvation did come by the
00:10:28 law of Moses. It does. It does. It does.
00:10:31 But now Abinadai said unto them.
00:10:34 So here is Abinadai making a distinction
00:10:37 between the law of Moses and the
00:10:39 commandments of
00:10:41 God. I know if you keep the commandments
00:10:44 of God, ye shall be saved.
00:10:48 Yay, if you keep the commandments which
00:10:50 Yahw delivered unto Moses and the mount
00:10:53 of Schne
00:10:54 saying, I am
00:10:56 Yohu, who brought thee out of the land
00:10:59 of Egypt, out of the land of Mitsim unto
00:11:02 out of the house of
00:11:03 bondage. Thou shalt have no other Elohim
00:11:07 before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee
00:11:10 any graven image, or any likeness of
00:11:12 anything in heaven above, or things
00:11:14 which are in the earth beneath. Now been
00:11:16 I said unto them, Have you done all
00:11:18 this? I say unto you, nay, ye have not.
00:11:21 And have you taught the this people that
00:11:23 they should do all these things? I say
00:11:25 unto you, nay, ye have not. So I I just
00:11:30 want to say on verse 36, it’s not a full
00:11:33 quote. But uh that’s okay because in
00:11:37 Hebrew thought, you don’t have to give
00:11:38 the full quote to get the full idea
00:11:40 because the full idea is worship it
00:11:44 because it’s fine to make things,
00:11:47 images. It’s not fine to worship them.
00:11:51 In fact, Yahweh commanded Moses to make
00:11:54 a snake.
00:11:57 Yahweh would not cause or tell someone.
00:12:03 Sorry, say that again. He would not
00:12:05 command somebody to break his law.
00:12:07 Correct. So, I I just want to bring out
00:12:09 here, this is not a full quote right
00:12:11 there in verse 36. Okay. Yeah. Now, I
00:12:15 find it interesting that it’s when he
00:12:17 tells them he all he has to do is quote
00:12:20 the first two commandments,
00:12:24 including no graven images, and they’re
00:12:26 ready to kill
00:12:29 him. They’re ready to go after him right
00:12:32 there. Well, they were ready to kill him
00:12:34 before he quoted. Yeah, but they’re
00:12:36 ready to put an end to his speaking
00:12:38 right there. Right there at that
00:12:41 time. And they stood forth and attempted
00:12:44 to lay their hands on it. And when a
00:12:46 king had heard these words, he said unto
00:12:47 his priests, “Away with this fellow and
00:12:49 slay him, for what have me to do with
00:12:50 him, for he is mad.” They stood forth,
00:12:52 attempted to lay their hands on him, but
00:12:54 he withtood them and said unto them,
00:12:55 “Touch me not, for God shall smite you
00:12:58 if you lay your hands upon me, for I
00:13:00 have not delivered the message which Yah
00:13:03 sent me to deliver. Neither have I told
00:13:05 you that which he requested that I
00:13:07 should tell. Therefore, Elohim will not
00:13:10 suffer that I shall be destroyed at this
00:13:12 time. So, they came at him in one way
00:13:14 and they were utterly routed.
00:13:17 Mhm. They fled seven until such time as
00:13:22 it was his time as as he had delivered
00:13:24 his
00:13:27 message. And this is the kind of
00:13:29 protection that we can count on as we’ll
00:13:31 read later on in Deuteronomy
00:13:34 28. So, then we go back. So, I’m going
00:13:37 to skip forward a little bit, go back
00:13:39 into the commandments,
00:13:42 starting at verse 11 of 13. Yeah. 11.
00:13:45 And now I read unto you the remainder of
00:13:47 the commandments of Elohim, for I
00:13:49 perceive they are not that they are not
00:13:51 written in your hearts. I perceive that
00:13:53 you have studied and taught iniquity the
00:13:55 most part of your lives. So, written in
00:13:58 your hearts, that means you know them so
00:14:04 well.
00:14:07 You live
00:14:08 them. They are part of who you
00:14:12 are and you are humble. And I should
00:14:15 also like Oh, I I will also say
00:14:18 though getting to know them deeper comes
00:14:21 with time. So even if you just know the
00:14:24 basics and you got them written on your
00:14:25 heart, that’s good. You get started.
00:14:28 This is Yeah. This is actually just the
00:14:31 love of Yahwa is the love of Yahweh is
00:14:34 upon you and you want to be like him.
00:14:36 Yeah. Right. So on your heart goes along
00:14:39 with what your desire is. So the ones
00:14:41 that you know and have figured out
00:14:44 already
00:14:46 um you desire it, you want
00:14:50 it and so you live your life according
00:14:53 to it because that’s how you want to be.
00:14:56 Right. And that’s and that and but
00:14:58 another important thing to
00:15:01 realize is that this is
00:15:03 said during the time of what Christians
00:15:07 now refer to as the old
00:15:10 covenant. So that having the law written
00:15:13 upon your heart is not a new covenant
00:15:17 change. No, it’s not. And it’s in the
00:15:19 Psalms which is during the before the
00:15:22 cross too. Yep. Um, yeah.
00:15:27 Um, people like to say cute things that
00:15:31 they can get away with with most people
00:15:34 and not really knowing what’s going on.
00:15:37 Yes.
00:15:39 Um, the the a contrite heart and broken
00:15:42 spirit has always been a requirement.
00:15:45 Always. Always been the requirement.
00:15:48 Always. So, let’s go ahead skip ahead to
00:15:50 verse 12.
00:15:52 And now you remember that I say it unto
00:15:54 you, thou shalt not make unto thee any
00:15:56 grave in image, or any likeness of
00:15:58 things which are in heaven above, or
00:15:59 which or which are in the earth beneath,
00:16:01 or which are in the water under the
00:16:02 earth. And again, thou shalt not bow
00:16:05 down thyself unto them. Okay. So, here’s
00:16:08 get here’s the part where he’s doing a
00:16:09 full quote here. Okay. Yeah. So, I I do
00:16:13 think that they I do think that u I do
00:16:16 think the reason that the
00:16:18 Yeah. So, here Yeah. So now he’s going
00:16:21 back to it and he’s giving the full
00:16:22 quote. You not thou shalt not bow down
00:16:24 to them thyself to them nor serve them.
00:16:27 For
00:16:28 I am a jealous Elohim visiting the
00:16:32 iniquities of the fathers upon the
00:16:33 children unto the third and fourth
00:16:35 generations of them that hate me.
00:16:38 Now there’s a key point there. Hate me
00:16:42 for those who repent. It doesn’t go that
00:16:44 long. Right? And the other thing, the
00:16:47 other thing is this is the other reason
00:16:49 why these things get generational is
00:16:51 because the fathers that hate Yah teach
00:16:54 that hatred to their children, right?
00:16:59 And showing mercy on the thousands of
00:17:01 them that love me and keep my
00:17:02 commandments. So that is literally the
00:17:04 full quoting of that um of the
00:17:10 third of the second commandment. Yes.
00:17:13 Yeah.
00:17:15 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord
00:17:18 of Yohu in vain. For for Yoh will not
00:17:22 hold him guiltless that taketh his name
00:17:24 in vain.
00:17:28 So this and this is about
00:17:31 um and this is all about
00:17:34 keeping this is all about um
00:17:39 taking upon you the character of Yeshua.
00:17:42 not just saying that you’re going to
00:17:44 take upon you the character of so it’s
00:17:46 multiple things that is one thing uh so
00:17:49 uh in the New Testament Yeshua talks
00:17:51 about how if you take upon him his name
00:17:55 his character and then go against that
00:17:57 it would be better that you have not
00:17:59 been born yes so to go around claiming
00:18:02 that you believe in Yeshua and you’re
00:18:04 representative of him and not acting
00:18:06 like he would as defined in his law
00:18:09 Torah is actually taking Yahweh
00:18:12 Elohinu’s name in vain. Yes. In addition
00:18:17 to claiming he said something that he
00:18:19 did not, which goes along with false
00:18:21 prophets and witchcraft. Yeah. So,
00:18:25 there’s multiple aspects to it, but I do
00:18:27 agree with the one that Ben’s bringing
00:18:28 out. Yeah.
00:18:31 Remember, in fact, I do think that you
00:18:34 broadened it, deepened it, and took it
00:18:36 to a new level. So, thanks.
00:18:39 Um, remember the Sabbath day to keep it
00:18:44 holy. That Sabbath day is one of the
00:18:48 appointed times. Leviticus 23, which is
00:18:51 determined by the sun and the moon.
00:18:54 Yeah. And Leviticus 2 actually ties it
00:18:57 to the sun and Yes. Yes. Mhm. The sixth
00:19:02 day shalt thou labor and do all thy
00:19:03 work. But the seventh day, the Sabbath
00:19:06 of Yahu, thou shalt not do any work,
00:19:08 thou nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy
00:19:11 manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy
00:19:14 cattle, nor thy stranger that is within
00:19:15 thy gates. For in six days Yah made
00:19:19 heaven and earth, and the sea, and all
00:19:20 that in them is. Wherefore Yah blessed
00:19:24 the Sabbath day, and hallowed it. So,
00:19:27 uh, pause for just a second. Um, so it
00:19:32 doesn’t say how long the rest is. It
00:19:34 says the seventh day is a rest. And it
00:19:37 is. It doesn’t say that you always then
00:19:40 always the next day is a work day, does
00:19:42 it? No, it doesn’t. In fact, right now
00:19:45 there’s not one place in scripture that
00:19:48 states that. In fact, tomorrow is
00:19:50 another rest day because it’s the new
00:19:53 moon day tomorrow. New moon days. New
00:19:55 moon days are non-count days as far as
00:19:57 the week. Yeah, they’re new moon days
00:20:00 are not weekdays. So, um goes which goes
00:20:04 along with them not being count days.
00:20:06 So, but it depends on the context. I’ll
00:20:08 just leave it at that because the 50
00:20:11 count it will count new moon days. So,
00:20:14 take context the final R count. Yeah. Uh
00:20:19 well, no, that’s not the R. Um the R is
00:20:21 the first seven Sabbaths. First seven
00:20:24 Sabbaths. Okay. People get mixed up
00:20:27 because they they they’re counting 49
00:20:30 days instead of seven Sabbaths. But if
00:20:32 you don’t believe in new moon days as a
00:20:34 separate type, it works out. But that’s
00:20:37 not the case. And that’s why it actually
00:20:39 says seven Sabbaths and not 49 days. But
00:20:42 anyway, so that’s the Yeah. Okay. So the
00:20:44 Sabbath count is the R count and the 50
00:20:46 days is the daily count. Yes. Um
00:20:49 Anyways, um but they’re doing it wrong.
00:20:52 So, um, and it never says the
00:20:58 counters. It says count Sabbath.
00:21:01 Anyways, um, all right. But the other
00:21:05 thing here I want to bring
00:21:07 out is that it gives the reason to do
00:21:10 it. Be like Yeshua. Yep.
00:21:14 You do it because he did it. Yeah. And
00:21:18 just to highlight that, I’ll reread 19.
00:21:20 For in six days Yahw made heaven and
00:21:23 earth and the sea and all that in them
00:21:26 is. Wherefore Yah blessed the Sabbath
00:21:29 day and hallowed it. That’s why we keep
00:21:33 the seventh day because we’re trying to
00:21:35 be like.
00:21:38 Yeah. And he states to be holy as he is.
00:21:44 That’s how we do it. We’re following his
00:21:46 perfect example. Yes.
00:21:50 So in verse 20 on it like I have I have
00:21:54 a quick thing about verse
00:21:58 13 when it
00:22:00 says he says like
00:22:03 I am a jealous God. I looked up the word
00:22:06 jealous in
00:22:08 1828. And the fourth fourth
00:22:12 definition says solicitus to defend the

00:24:11 they gave it to the temple. Um, so they
00:24:15 could have been taking care of their
00:24:16 parents, but they use it as an excuse to
00:24:18 make Torah null and void as Yeshua

00:24:27 commandment can go the fifth commandment
00:24:30 on the physical level very much applies

00:50:14 you’re sanctified. Well, I think no

00:50:20 condition in that. If thou shalt keep
00:50:22 the commandments of the Lord thy God and
00:50:24 walk in his ways. So he’s establishing a
00:50:27 holy people which is just and if you
00:50:29 keep the commandments going to establish
00:50:31 them a holy people if they keep the
00:50:33 commandments.
00:50:35 So it’s the the conditional is whether
00:50:39 or not they get established holy people,
00:50:41 not whether they’re so not whether
00:50:43 they’re Fair enough. Fair enough. It’s
00:50:46 whether they get established as a holy
00:50:48 people,
00:50:50 right? But after you’re justified, you
00:50:54 do start keeping it and you are starting

01:05:13 on the physical level that is uh rain to
01:05:16 uh give water to your crops. Okay. But
01:05:20 on the spiritual that is blessings. Rain
01:05:24 um is symbolic of judgment and after
01:05:27 judgment you either get curses or

01:05:33 And and in the context in the context of
01:05:36 what we’re going over here in the first
01:05:38 14 verses of Deuteronomy 28, it’s
01:05:40 blessing. Correct. Uh I agree with that.

01:05:47 here is an interesting point. People say
01:05:50 that lending period is against Torah.
01:05:54 Here is one of many examples how lending
01:05:57 money is not against Torah.

01:06:07 pointing to the physical stuff here. You
01:06:09 can lend on donations because you don’t
