Summary:

Going over Isaiah 40 which has much about the Second Coming. Studying the scriptures helps us. Going over the deeper meanings. The deeper and surface levels of meaning support each other not contradict each other. Going over the first and second comforters. Jerusalem means foundation of peace. Zion will be the foundation of peace. Explaining “I will curse those who curse you”. If you want protection from YHWH, you need to keep Torah. Job is a type of Yeshua and his friends are a type of the 3 two thousand year periods. The Mighty and Strong One will bring people to Torah. We need to remember that mercy is part of the law. After we saved by the blood of the Lamb, we are rewarded for our works. Pangaea is coming back. The Polar Configuration will be coming back, which is the source for fulfilling prophecies of the Millenium. Mighty and Strong One will not be a king but will be a missionary. Following Torah, will make our interactions with people better. Torah is about we are to love others. The Second Comforter is being told you will have eternal life. YHWH’s words will stand forever. YHWH’s timing of giving us things is best such that it won’t make us prideful. Oral Torah is the false tradition of men. The holy prophets went among the wicked despite what they would do to them because of the promises they received from YHWH. The Mighty and Strong One cares about others. The third temple will be built in Zion. Meek people continually learn YHWH’s ways. Spirit can mean behavior. People are going to ask the Mighty and Strong One what his accreditations are. Burnt offerings were never enough. We need to make things right with the people we wronged and with Yeshua to repent. We should not make people idols. The purpose of life is to come to Yeshua and Torah then help others to do the same. Yeshua taught from the Old Testament / Tanak. D&C 76 is all over the Bible. 666 is another way of denying the Holy Spirit which is what happened with Cain. Only you thinking you don’t need the Messiah will get you to lose your salvation. Torah testified of Yeshua. Scholars just quote other men without knowing if they are right or wrong. Peacemakers teach of YHWH’s ways. Name means character. YHWH has given all adults the basics of His Torah. Showing a bad translation in KJV Isaiah 40:28 where the Interlinear is “is not unsearchable”. AI does not know how to reason, it just gives back a general conscious of what it has been feed. YHWH helps those who seek to keep His ways. YHWH will renew the strength of the faithful.

00:00:02 the app of the pulse states. Yes. So,
00:00:05 today uh this is Andrew Sickls. By the
00:00:08 way, I’m gonna be we’re going to be
00:00:10 going over together Isaiah chapter 40
00:00:13 and uh kind of one of the reasons why
00:00:16 we’re we’re doing this is I kind of had
00:00:19 an experience earlier in I I guess it
00:00:22 was last Sabbath. Um I had a lot of time
00:00:25 on my hands and I was um had a lot of
00:00:28 allergies going on. So I was feeling bad
00:00:30 physically and I um because of uh
00:00:33 certain life situations going on right
00:00:35 now, I also was was uh struggling
00:00:40 um you know with some depression, some
00:00:42 light depression um to the point where I
00:00:45 just didn’t feel like I could
00:00:48 uh do anything. I couldn’t even I
00:00:50 couldn’t even convince myself to open up
00:00:53 the scriptures. Even though I knew it
00:00:55 would help, I I just like couldn’t get
00:00:57 myself to do it.
00:00:59 Um, as I was going through these
00:01:01 feelings, I I had the
00:01:05 impression, well, one of my favorite
00:01:07 scriptures is found in Isaiah
00:01:10 40:31. Um, so I highlight it just so
00:01:14 people can see it. Yep, that works. But
00:01:18 they that wait upon the Lord shall renew
00:01:21 their strength. They shall mount up with
00:01:23 wings as eagles. They shall run and not
00:01:26 be weary. they shall walk and not faint.
00:01:29 This came into my head. And as soon as
00:01:34 that came into my head, I pulled up my
00:01:37 scripture app and I started reading
00:01:40 Isaiah chapter 40. And I got a lot of
00:01:44 really, really interesting things out of
00:01:47 it. We discussed it later as a group and
00:01:52 pulled even more interesting things out
00:01:54 of it. And tonight we want to go over
00:01:56 that with everybody who’s willing to
00:01:58 listen and um and you know kind of go
00:02:02 over the meat of of what’s in that
00:02:05 chapter which there’s a lot it goes over
00:02:08 a lot of different things. So
00:02:10 um without any further ado we’ll go
00:02:14 ahead and get started. May I add
00:02:16 something? May I add something?
00:02:18 Absolutely. Absolutely. Um, in every
00:02:22 chapter in Isaiah, there is both milk
00:02:26 and meat.
00:02:29 Yes, we are going to be looking. We’re
00:02:32 going to be delving deeper to get to the
00:02:34 milk and to get through the milk to the
00:02:36 meat.
00:02:37 Now, um, let’s, uh, Ben, for just in
00:02:40 case for some listeners that don’t know
00:02:42 the difference between milk and meat,
00:02:43 you want to expound that or you want
00:02:45 Okay. So milk is the basic
00:02:49 doctrines. It’s the basic stuff that
00:02:52 everybody needs. Just like a baby, just
00:02:56 like everybody needs milk to survive the
00:02:58 first few weeks of
00:03:02 life. The milk is the basics that
00:03:05 everybody needs to survive uh in their
00:03:08 faith in Yeshua Hamashiach. And the meat
00:03:12 wait let me add one thing. Milk is alo
00:03:15 also representative of the commandments.
00:03:18 Yes, milk is also representative of the
00:03:19 commandments. And meat
00:03:23 meat is representative of those
00:03:26 mysteries contained within those
00:03:30 mysteries contained within that which
00:03:32 produces the milk.
00:03:34 It’s built upon. So if you don’t know
00:03:37 the milk, you’re not going to understand
00:03:39 the meat, right? Be because the meat
00:03:42 because meat doctrines do not contradict
00:03:46 milk doctrines nor do they render them
00:03:49 null and void. Yep.
00:03:53 They build upon them just like
00:03:58 uh raw protein uh in the form of chicken
00:04:01 or steak or what have you. whatever you
00:04:04 whatever meat you happen to
00:04:07 eat it.
00:04:10 Uh you find
00:04:12 out what goes into the basic structure
00:04:18 of the milk that comes from
00:04:21 that. So,
00:04:26 okay. So just real quick about the the
00:04:30 because this kind of goes along with
00:04:32 Padre’s psalm which is the different
00:04:34 levels of meaning in the scriptures. I I
00:04:37 do want to say this. Um um just going to
00:04:40 kind of read something that I already
00:04:42 put
00:04:43 out. The verse I just quoted Mosiah
00:04:46 18:10 illustrates that there are that we
00:04:49 are to enter covenant with Elohim before
00:04:51 we are baptized.
00:04:53 I’ll end on this one as this is not the
00:04:56 main subject of the post but in Mosiah
00:04:59 18:8 states here are the waters of
00:05:02 Mormon. This is a wonderful example of
00:05:04 padres four levels of meaning in the
00:05:07 scriptures for more see oh garden part
00:05:11 the simple level is very obvious from
00:05:13 what is the name of the water. A deep a
00:05:16 deeper level is go takes into account
00:05:18 that Mormon actually means covenant and
00:05:21 everyone is is about to be baptized with
00:05:24 water as a witness that they have
00:05:26 entered into covenant with
00:05:28 Elohim. So that’s one example there. Um
00:05:31 and there are some others but we’ll
00:05:34 leave it at that. Um yes. So the there
00:05:38 are different levels of meaning which
00:05:41 goes along with the milk and the meat.
00:05:43 Right. Yes, but they do
00:05:46 not they do the mind and will of Y is
00:05:52 not self-contradictory.
00:05:54 Correct. They sub the levels support
00:05:57 each other not contradict each other.
00:06:00 The idea is to get a deeper
00:06:02 understanding of said milk. A deeper
00:06:07 understanding, not necessarily a
00:06:10 complete new understanding. No. Uh,
00:06:13 that’s a good way of putting it there,
00:06:14 John. It’s not you understand. Well
00:06:17 said. Way to simplify. All right. Do we
00:06:21 have somebody who would like to read the
00:06:24 first verse? Any volunte? I’ll go ahead
00:06:26 and read it for you, buddy. Go, John.
00:06:30 Comfort ye. Comfort ye my people, saith
00:06:33 Elohim.
00:06:35 Okay.
00:06:37 Right there. Sorry. I’m gonna let you
00:06:38 go. I’m gonna let you go. Sorry. Right
00:06:40 there. I feel like that’s the the call
00:06:43 to each of us, right? To comfort the
00:06:49 people.
00:06:51 [Music]
00:06:53 Um would you say so? Oh yes. And on a
00:06:58 deeper level, we’re talking about he
00:07:01 repeats the command. He repeats comfort
00:07:04 key. Comfort key. This is the first
00:07:09 comforter is Oh yeah. The first
00:07:12 comforter is the baptism of fire wherein
00:07:17 Yahwa has judged our hearts and
00:07:21 perceives that we are willing that we
00:07:23 truly are willing to keep his
00:07:25 commandments and we receive the baptism
00:07:27 of fire. This is the first comforter.
00:07:29 And so we’re and so when he’s saying
00:07:31 comfort ye my people, okay? And the
00:07:34 second comforter for the second comfort
00:07:37 ye is the baptism of the Holy
00:07:41 Ghost wherein Yoha having judged our
00:07:44 hearts and our
00:07:45 actions sanctifies us. Right? So the
00:07:49 first one is where our desire to do
00:07:52 that after the desire takes some
00:07:55 learning and then the second one’s when
00:07:57 we’re actually doing what we first
00:07:59 promised at our before we were water
00:08:02 baptized. And so, and so what we have
00:08:05 here is the commandment to go out and
00:08:10 help other people be justified and
00:08:14 sanctified.
00:08:15 Yeah.
00:08:17 Well, another words is receive mercy and
00:08:21 then grace. Yes. There there’s a lot of
00:08:24 ways of saying this.
00:08:27 um especially when you understand what
00:08:30 is really going on, you can then
00:08:32 understand that why the imagery of the
00:08:34 different ways of saying it all fit
00:08:36 together. So,
00:08:40 yeah. Okay. Uh I can read one more. Can
00:08:44 Can I read this? That first one was a
00:08:46 little Let me read the next one, please.
00:08:49 But it was loaded, brother. Oh, it was
00:08:51 loaded. I love it. Even in the shortest,
00:08:54 most succinct verbiage we find greatest
00:08:57 depth. Speak ye comfortably to Jerus
00:09:01 Jerusalem and cry unto her that her
00:09:05 warfare is accomplished, that her
00:09:08 iniquity is pardoned, for she hath
00:09:11 received of Yahw’s hand double for all
00:09:15 her sins.
00:09:18 So um this uh chapter is actually about
00:09:22 the second coming. It’s not always
00:09:25 obvious but when you take everything
00:09:27 into account it is it becomes obvious.
00:09:31 So with that in mind I do want to look
00:09:33 at Bible hub on this verse. Yeah. U
00:09:37 because I know it says Jerusalem but
00:09:40 what does Jerusalem actually mean? Okay.
00:09:44 reason I’m getting into that. Um, okay.
00:09:48 Yeah, they Yes. Yes. So, speak tenderly
00:09:52 to Jerusalem. Jerusalem
00:09:55 itself. Uh, where’d it go? It’s in here
00:09:59 somewhere. Uh, foundation of peace.
00:10:02 Foundation. Yes. Now, city.
00:10:07 Foundation of peace is the primary.
00:10:08 Yeah. Yeah. Well, so the the Jerusalem
00:10:12 is, you know,
00:10:14 the foundation of peace in the old
00:10:17 world. Okay. Correct. Yeah. Now, there
00:10:20 are two Jerusalems. The old Jerusalem or
00:10:22 the new Jerusalem. And I do I and uh I
00:10:27 do believe that those um and that old
00:10:31 Jerusalem and new Jerusalem
00:10:35 um could they they are uh because the
00:10:41 new Jerusalem part of that is going to
00:10:43 be the city the city of Enoch that comes
00:10:46 down. So that’ll be actually older than
00:10:49 new that part will be older than the old
00:10:50 Jerusalem.
00:10:52 Well, the people will come down, that’s
00:10:54 for sure. Um, we don’t know if the city
00:10:57 itself will, but the people Yeah, the
00:10:58 the land I I I don’t know about that to
00:11:01 be honest. I I But the people extremely
00:11:04 honest, but the point remains that the
00:11:06 people themselves are older than the old
00:11:08 Jerusalem and they’re still living on
00:11:10 that foundation of peace. Correct. this
00:11:12 is gets a little bit more so I think
00:11:15 that that new and old may almost just be
00:11:18 a reference to the which continents
00:11:21 they’re on.
00:11:23 Uh I can see that and I was kind of
00:11:27 trying to bring out is how although this
00:11:30 section’s about the second coming which
00:11:33 goes more with
00:11:35 Zion during the second coming events
00:11:38 Zion is the foundation of peace. Yes.
00:11:41 Yes. Yeah. In fact, Jerusalem,
00:11:45 Jerusalem, Jerusalem will not be at
00:11:47 peace until after Yeshua sets once again
00:11:51 sets his foot on the Mount of Olives.
00:11:54 Correct. And
00:11:56 uh people from around the world are
00:11:58 going to flock to Zion for the peace and
00:12:02 protection that it has. Um so when
00:12:05 they’re talking Jerusalem here, they’re
00:12:07 talking about the new Jerusalem or Zion.
00:12:11 Uh correct. I believe so. As we go
00:12:13 through the context, this is where maybe
00:12:15 you could put uh in in uh
00:12:19 brackets new Jerusalem, right? Or or new
00:12:24 Jerusalem. Another way, another way to
00:12:26 look at this is that in the prophet’s
00:12:30 messages,
00:12:32 um, Jerusalem and Zion are used
00:12:35 interchangeably, which means a reference
00:12:38 to one is a reference to the other
00:12:40 potentially in the, um, with the
00:12:43 historical context as end time metaphor.
00:12:47 Uh, yes, I do agree with that. It’s
00:12:49 using history to do prophecy, right?
00:12:52 Yeah. Yeah. And the rest of this it
00:12:56 looks like it’s saying that
00:13:00 um yeah that they have
00:13:05 repented for the sins that they
00:13:07 committed. Correct. Because saying their
00:13:10 iniquity is pardoned which I which I
00:13:13 think which I find something really
00:13:15 interesting that I find in that is
00:13:18 speaking comfortably. how that refers
00:13:20 back to comfort ye comfort ye speak ye
00:13:24 comfortably. And so this is this is once
00:13:28 again
00:13:29 this city is ready
00:13:32 for justification and sanctification.
00:13:35 It’s a place for people to be justified
00:13:37 and sanctified. So
00:13:40 um this has an illusion back to Abraham.
00:13:43 I will bless those who bless you and
00:13:45 curse those who curse you. Yes. Yes.
00:13:48 uh here there this is a command to speak
00:13:52 peacefully
00:13:55 um to the foundation of peace such that
00:13:59 you may receive blessings instead of
00:14:01 cursings because if you go against
00:14:03 Yahweh’s ways which is the foundation of
00:14:06 peace you will receive cursings instead
00:14:09 which goes along with how Abraham
00:14:12 uh during that event he was justified
00:14:16 okay he came under Yeshua’s was covering
00:14:19 and thus his protection.
00:14:21 Mhm. His sanctification came later. Um
00:14:26 and so this is somewhat talking about
00:14:27 the same idea here. It’s um
00:14:32 yeah, if you want to get justified as in
00:14:35 come under Yeshua’s covering, you need
00:14:37 to speak
00:14:39 uh comfort to his foundation of peace.
00:14:42 You need to you need
00:14:45 to re we’ll just say that if you’re
00:14:48 coming from a background where you’ve
00:14:50 been taught that the Torah is a burden
00:14:56 and a curse,
00:14:59 you need to repent of your relationship
00:15:02 to Torah because that is the foundation
00:15:04 of peace.
00:15:10 Yeah.
00:15:11 Yeah.
00:15:13 And say and cry unto her that her war
00:15:15 for is accomplished or her protection,
00:15:18 right? Yes. And this is all the
00:15:22 protection is ultimately because she’s
00:15:25 been pardoned or the people in it have
00:15:27 been pardoned of their sins.
00:15:31 So my one of my favorite examples of
00:15:33 this is in Torah and the snakes. Uh, and
00:15:37 then there’s a
00:15:40 um a verse we can get. I can look it up
00:15:43 that uh maybe Zach can tell us quicker
00:15:46 that uh I re-ransated for Zach. I know
00:15:49 that sounds very facitious, but I did.
00:15:53 But it goes along with the fact that
00:15:56 Yahweh is shaping the evil either which
00:16:00 is containing the evil while we’re
00:16:06 um staying under his covering. He will
00:16:10 shape evil against us. And so that’s
00:16:13 Isaiah 45:7. I don’t know if you want to
00:16:16 go there or not.
00:16:18 Well, and that tails onto something that
00:16:20 I
00:16:22 um that I have said I know and I and I
00:16:27 do believe that everybody here agrees
00:16:28 with me. If you want to practice sound
00:16:30 spiritual warfare, live Torah.
00:16:34 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Because uh um
00:16:38 you don’t need to learn a whole lot of
00:16:40 incantations and prayers.
00:16:44 No, you’ve got there’s not some magic
00:16:48 words that uh
00:16:52 what you need is to be living in the way
00:16:56 of the spirit that they in that way you
00:16:59 are in Yahwa’s mind and will and are
00:17:03 impervious.
00:17:06 Yeah. And when you’re doing that, you
00:17:09 can receive his protection. Yes. Yeah.
00:17:12 Now, I said can sometimes that he won’t
00:17:15 always give it.
00:17:17 But, uh, one thing is true is you won’t
00:17:20 get it if you’re not keeping his ways.
00:17:23 Yes. Cuz
00:17:25 sometimes there are times in his plan
00:17:28 that uh even though you’re worthy of it,
00:17:32 that it’s better not to give it. Um
00:17:35 there are times in his plan where the
00:17:37 righteous must be slain that the wicked
00:17:40 may be judged. Correct. Um right.
00:17:46 But if you want it at all, you need to
00:17:48 keep Torah because otherwise you’re
00:17:51 depending upon your own strength. If you
00:17:54 and not only that, but from the
00:17:56 perspective of somebody who worked who
00:17:59 used to be an
00:18:00 oultist, that would be me.
00:18:03 Um, every time when you don’t live
00:18:06 Torah, you give the demons permission.
00:18:11 Yeah, you give them permission. In fact,
00:18:14 on that point, uh, a big thing that the
00:18:17 book of Jo book of Job teaches that
00:18:20 Satan and the demons can only do what
00:18:23 Yahweh allows them to do. Yeah, that’s
00:18:26 very true. Uh, and I’ll just say this
00:18:29 real quick. We don’t have to get into
00:18:30 it. Uh Job is uh a type of Yeshua and
00:18:36 the
00:18:37 his the the three friends are type of
00:18:41 the two I mean sorry the three 2000
00:18:45 periods but anyways we that’s a whole
00:18:48 that’s a whole another can of work. So
00:18:49 all so all this just from verse two.
00:18:53 Yep. Well verse three um Stephen would
00:18:57 you like to read that? Yeah. the voice
00:18:59 of him that crith in the wilderness,
00:19:02 prepare ye the way of Yahweh, make
00:19:06 straight in the desert a highway for our
00:19:09 Elohim. So, this is really cool. This
00:19:13 ties back to John the Baptist who was a
00:19:16 preparer or a mighty and strong one for
00:19:19 uh Jesus’s first or Yeshua’s first
00:19:23 ministry, right?
00:19:25 Um that’s basically what his calling was
00:19:28 to do, right? Yeah. Yeah. Um
00:19:32 but make straight in the desert a
00:19:34 highway for our God. Making straight.
00:19:36 That that is in reference to him going
00:19:39 out and teaching Torah again. Correct.
00:19:42 Yahweh’s ways is straight turn to the
00:19:46 left and the right. And and so taking
00:19:48 this in context of the end times message
00:19:52 that is there that is contained
00:19:54 primarily in this chapter. We see John
00:19:57 the Baptist now as a historical
00:20:00 precedent for the end time metaphor.
00:20:03 Yeah. The historical precedent though
00:20:07 just FYI when this was written John the
00:20:09 Baptist was future. So but Right. But he
00:20:13 still becomes at this point historical
00:20:15 at this point. Oh yeah. Yeah. For the
00:20:18 end times and for the end times might a
00:20:21 preparer who prepares the way for the
00:20:24 second coming of Yahwa i.e. the mighty
00:20:27 and strong one. The two lamp stands
00:20:31 um and uh they and they uh and they
00:20:34 prepare the way
00:20:36 uh they start and they and they will
00:20:39 definitely be crying and they will
00:20:40 definitely be crying in the wilderness.
00:20:43 Prepare ye a way. Prepare ye the way of
00:20:45 the Lord. make straight a highway for
00:20:47 our God. And so it they’re um so they
00:20:52 are going to have physical cries over
00:20:53 what’s going on. Okay? But um this is
00:20:58 more pointing to how they’re going to
00:21:00 cry
00:21:01 repentance to people because that’s how
00:21:04 you make straight is you return to the
00:21:07 path. Yep. Um it’s not just shedding a
00:21:12 tear. Now that is important.
00:21:15 uh real pendants. Yeah. Interestingly
00:21:18 enough, cry actually does have multiple
00:21:21 meanings. It’s not just about shedding
00:21:22 tears. Cry cry also means just to shout
00:21:26 out loud, to exclaim, to shout out loud.
00:21:30 Um that kind of thing. Right. Right. And
00:21:33 in this case, it’s actually crying out
00:21:35 loud repentance, which uh most people
00:21:38 don’t like to hear.
00:21:40 Yeah.
00:21:41 It takes it make that’s it’s a message
00:21:43 that makes other people cry.
00:21:47 Yeah. Um I think another thing to bring
00:21:49 out instead of using path they use
00:21:53 highway.
00:21:54 Now my personal opinion is because this
00:21:57 is about the second coming and people
00:22:00 are coming from all over the world here.
00:22:04 Yeah. Hence highway is a wide I hate
00:22:08 that. Um, I’m going to say bigger path
00:22:11 because the wide Let’s say it’s built
00:22:13 Let’s say it’s built for more traffic.
00:22:15 Yes. Yes. It’s built for more traffic.
00:22:17 Okay. Meaning more people because I want
00:22:19 to avoid the word wide. Um, because
00:22:23 without a highway,
00:22:26 um, unfortunately the earth will be
00:22:28 largely wasted at his coming. Yeah,
00:22:32 correct. Because the wicked are going to
00:22:34 be destroyed.
00:22:37 Um, also I the desert somewhat to some
00:22:40 degree points to where Zion’s going to
00:22:43 be
00:22:44 um centered. Um, not exactly, but it’s
00:22:49 kind of a place where there’s not a lot
00:22:51 of people. So,
00:22:53 yeah, that’s true. Yeah. The main the
00:22:56 main thing about this desert the um when
00:23:00 you think about the symbol the symbolic
00:23:02 nature of the desert it is
00:23:06 basically empty spaces empty wilderness
00:23:11 very scant signs of
00:23:13 life water
00:23:18 so uh so we’re there you’re in the place
00:23:22 where there is little water very little
00:23:25 revelation
00:23:27 very little knowledge of Yahwa, a
00:23:30 highway shall be made to Elohim. And I
00:23:34 especially agree with the point that Ben
00:23:37 brought out because if he didn’t know, I
00:23:38 was going to that
00:23:41 um these servants, end time servants are
00:23:45 going to take make something out of
00:23:48 nothing. Yes. Yeah. They’re going to
00:23:51 come out of nowhere
00:23:53 and build up because it is said
00:23:56 elsewhere in Isaiah that they are hidden
00:23:59 in the quiver of the Lord. Yeah. Which
00:24:02 uh that goes along with imagery of
00:24:05 Torah. And yes, Torah, but guess
00:24:11 what? So is Yeshua.
00:24:14 So yeah, I I I’m fine being a legalist.
00:24:18 So is he. And if you think he’s not, you
00:24:22 got a big surprise at judgment day.
00:24:25 Yeah. You’ll find just how legalistic he
00:24:28 is.
00:24:29 Yeah. Now, people need to remember that
00:24:33 mercy is part of the law. Now, in the
00:24:35 civil system, that’s not so much the
00:24:37 case, but in Yahweh’s perfect Torah, it
00:24:43 is part.
00:24:46 So, and thank heaven for that. It’s Oh,
00:24:49 yeah. I I’ll I’ll tell you I’m first to
00:24:51 admit I need that mercy. Okay.
00:24:55 If not for that if not for that mercy
00:24:58 I if if not for the mercy extended to me
00:25:01 I’m a dead man. Yeah. But I think we can
00:25:04 all say that as Paul said we need to go
00:25:08 from that to
00:25:10 sanctification. Uh otherwise
00:25:13 uh should mercy abound is I if I
00:25:17 remember the phrase should sin abound
00:25:19 should yeah should sin multiply multiply
00:25:23 that grace may abound God forbid yeah
00:25:27 that’s not how it works because look
00:25:29 even Paul says the actual the actual
00:25:32 Greek word the actual Greek words that
00:25:35 are translated as god forbid that what
00:25:38 they actually mean is if you believe
00:25:41 that it should you should you are
00:25:44 accursed.
00:25:46 Yeah. Uh because you’re sinning out of
00:25:48 the covering
00:25:50 or even if you’re in the covering,
00:25:52 you’re um you’re going to receive a
00:25:55 smaller reward.
00:25:58 Mhm. Even to the point where yeah,
00:26:00 you’ll be in the kingdom, but you won’t
00:26:01 be able to see his face. As in uh
00:26:05 Matthew 7 on Sermon on Torah, or more
00:26:07 known as Sermon on the Mount, which
00:26:10 equals a bad day. It’s a very Yeah, it’s
00:26:13 not as bad as sons of preditions, but
00:26:16 they have a really bad day. Yeah. Yeah.
00:26:20 But anyways, um it’s a freakishly hot
00:26:23 day. Yeah. Come to Yahweh
00:26:26 and listen to his coming servants that
00:26:29 are going to cry out repentance. Make
00:26:31 straight the highway for Elohim as in
00:26:36 keep Torah.
00:26:38 If you don’t keep Torah or desiring to
00:26:41 you won’t recognize the two servants
00:26:43 because you’ll hate them. Yep. Because
00:26:46 you’ll hate what they teach which is
00:26:48 from Yahweh. Yeah. They will hate you
00:26:50 will hate the message.
00:26:53 So, yep. And the messengers
00:26:57 for me.
00:27:00 Yep. Uh, Ben, you want to read verse
00:27:02 four? I I love this verse and I’ll talk
00:27:04 a little bit about it after. All right.
00:27:06 I will I will try to content myself with
00:27:09 You’re fine. You’re fine.
00:27:12 Every valley shall be exalted and every
00:27:16 mountain and hill shall be made low and
00:27:20 the crooked shall be made straight and
00:27:23 the rough places.
00:27:27 So go in along with that idea of like I
00:27:30 guess deeper meanings. Obviously there’s
00:27:31 things like earthquakes and tumults and
00:27:34 things like that that would affect the
00:27:36 physical geography of the earth but not
00:27:39 along those lines. I’ll just add to
00:27:41 that. We’re going to get piaf.
00:27:44 Okay. Yeah.
00:27:49 Yeah. And that and what will happen it’s
00:27:52 um as the polar configuration returns
00:27:56 into place the magnetic pole of the
00:27:58 earth will shift.
00:28:01 Oh, I don’t know about that. The pole
00:28:03 shifting, but uh for sure continents
00:28:06 will come shift on a fairly the pole
00:28:08 shifts on a pretty regular schedule
00:28:11 anyway, but well
00:28:14 um the these events aren’t exactly on
00:28:17 pretty regular schedules. So, I I do
00:28:20 understand there’s some science out
00:28:23 there supposedly on that. I don’t know
00:28:25 how valid it is to be honest. Um I do
00:28:28 think it had the poll has moved around
00:28:31 some. In fact, the pho dibble document I
00:28:34 do believe states that and so does um
00:28:38 the medic uh they can tell that the
00:28:41 magnetic pole has moved. Um I don’t know
00:28:45 if there’s actual evidence that it’s
00:28:47 flipped though as some people Well, I
00:28:50 Yeah, I’m not talking about a flip. I’m
00:28:52 talking about a shift. Yeah. Okay. So
00:28:54 maybe I read too much into your
00:28:55 statement. Sorry about that. Yeah, I I
00:28:57 think you did. But um but that’s okay.
00:29:00 Um we we all do these things some from
00:29:02 time to time. Yeah, but I do agree the
00:29:05 polar configuration is going to come
00:29:06 back and is I do believe it will shift
00:29:09 the pole. Um not flip but shift. So
00:29:13 sorry to that. Um and and and when that
00:29:18 kind of thing happens, there’s always a
00:29:20 lot of
00:29:22 geo geologic activity. Well,
00:29:26 And so there’s a post I need to finish.
00:29:29 You’ve never heard me say that. But um
00:29:33 so and the reason I bring this up is um
00:29:37 when the polar configuration comes back,
00:29:39 there’s going to be a lot of different
00:29:41 um electrical activity which actually um
00:29:46 goes along and there’s scientific
00:29:48 evidence that supports the prophecies of
00:29:50 the millennium of longer life,
00:29:54 um better crops, and a whole bunch of
00:29:56 other things. Okay, I I need to one day
00:29:58 finish that post. But um in
00:30:02 addition, there’s research that shows
00:30:05 that earthquake are caused by electric
00:30:09 activity
00:30:10 um which uh there is a very big
00:30:14 earthquake according to the prophecy
00:30:16 that I Oh, for sure. Along with the
00:30:19 polar configuration. So, um I do think
00:30:22 it’s Yeah, there’s a lot of long story
00:30:25 short, there’s a lot of changes that are
00:30:27 coming. Uh they going to be crazy.
00:30:31 They’re going to be crazy.
00:30:34 But along those l That’s that’s like a
00:30:37 very physical aspect. There’s more to
00:30:39 this verse though. Correct. You’re
00:30:41 talking every valley shall be exalted.
00:30:44 So the humble will will be exalted,
00:30:47 right?
00:30:48 every mountain and hill shall be made
00:30:50 low. So the proud and hotty will be
00:30:52 humbled, will be abased essentially.
00:30:56 Yeah. The crooked shall be made
00:30:58 straight. So that which was rick would
00:31:00 that which was wicked or those who are
00:31:03 wicked I guess may repent and
00:31:07 return to Isaiah 52 is one of my
00:31:10 favorite uh passages for this or
00:31:14 chapters. Isaiah 52 brings out how the
00:31:17 mind you strong one after the wrath.
00:31:21 He’s not going to be a king as a lot of
00:31:23 people claim. He’s going to go be a
00:31:25 missionary
00:31:27 to go make the cricket straight. Yep.
00:31:32 And the rough places and then the rough
00:31:36 places. So, um, kind of along the lines
00:31:40 of, you know, you see those rough rocks
00:31:43 that get knocked into the water and over
00:31:45 time those rough edges are smoothed off.
00:31:49 Something similar like that is what I’m
00:31:52 thinking um, will happen.
00:31:54 It reminds me also of the uh quote from
00:31:57 the prophet Joseph Smith where he talked
00:32:00 about how he was a rough stone rolling
00:32:03 and
00:32:04 uh every and the how the how the uh how
00:32:09 an edge would be knocked off here and an
00:32:11 edge knocked off there. Um
00:32:15 and how how in the end he would be made
00:32:18 smooth. So along with uh Andrew’s water
00:32:22 thing, water is symbolic of revelation.
00:32:25 Now I will add one other thing real
00:32:27 quick. Plain is actually an idiom for
00:32:29 Torah. Yes, that’s true. Yeah. And so
00:32:34 what’s going to make us
00:32:36 uh more cordial with people, right? Or
00:32:39 better interactions with
00:32:42 people is following Torah. Yeah. Hey,
00:32:45 can I Torah? Let me say last thing and
00:32:48 you got Torah is about how Yahweh wants
00:32:50 us to love.
00:32:52 Yes. Go ahead, John. And the rough
00:32:55 places plain. I would like to liken that
00:32:59 unto the current state of doctrine in
00:33:02 the world right now. The doctrine is
00:33:04 rough places.
00:33:08 With Torah being taught again, the rough
00:33:11 places will be plain. Yeah. It will no
00:33:15 longer be rough because Torah will be
00:33:17 taught. Yeah. Because there’s all this
00:33:20 uh curve fitting everywhere which makes
00:33:22 things rough. Yes.
00:33:28 Where simply put Torah is about how
00:33:30 Yahweh wants us to love him and others.
00:33:33 Yes. Yeah. Amen. And there’s not all
00:33:36 these curve fittings you get in
00:33:40 modern. There’s not even the curve
00:33:42 fittings you get in the modern uh say in
00:33:45 the Hebrew roots movement or other
00:33:47 places like that. Yeah. Yes. I would
00:33:50 include those, but it’s good to uh call
00:33:53 them out specifically because people
00:33:55 think they know what they’re talking
00:33:57 about there and they don’t. They really
00:33:59 don’t. Yeah, it’s true.
00:34:02 Okay. Yep. That’s true.
00:34:06 Okay.
00:34:08 Um, Ben, you already read, right? Yes, I
00:34:11 did. Okay. So, uh, Zach, do you want to
00:34:14 read verse five?
00:34:21 And the glory of
00:34:23 Yahweh shall be revealed, and all flesh
00:34:26 shall see it together, for the mouth of
00:34:28 y of Yahweh has spoken it. Yes, I love
00:34:33 the last part of that verse where it
00:34:35 says, Yes. The Well, basically the whole
00:34:38 verse says, “You will see my face
00:34:40 because I said I would do it.” And this
00:34:45 goes back to I I feel like this goes
00:34:47 back to where he in another part of
00:34:50 Isaiah. I don’t remember the verse off
00:34:52 the top of my head, but he says that no
00:34:55 word of his will will will come back
00:34:57 void. Yeah. If he says he’s gonna do it,
00:35:02 he’s gonna do it.
00:35:05 Yeah. Um his word is
00:35:08 100% good.
00:35:10 It is absolutely yes absolutely but uh
00:35:15 and this is a particular this is a
00:35:18 reference and you know at the end
00:35:21 times all shall see him
00:35:26 and every knee shall bow and every
00:35:27 tongue confess that he is that he is
00:35:31 that he is that he is the anointed one
00:35:33 the Messiah
00:35:38 but Until that time, he shows himself to
00:35:43 individuals as he will, not as we will.
00:35:49 It’s not something you can force like
00:35:51 some people claim.
00:35:55 Just FYI, the second comforter is not
00:35:58 seeing Yahweh face to face. It is being
00:36:02 told from his mouth that you will
00:36:05 receive eternal life. And you can get
00:36:07 that from
00:36:10 uh from the DNC. Uh give me a second.
00:36:13 I’ll tell you where. The promise of
00:36:15 eternal life, right? Is that also known
00:36:18 as the Holy Spirit of promise? Yes.
00:36:23 A lot of these things have many names.
00:36:26 Yeah. Um, which if you’re not aware of
00:36:28 that, it can make it confusing, but once
00:36:30 you uh understand it’s just different
00:36:34 names for the same thing,
00:36:37 um, it all fits together. Yeah. Uh, oh,
00:36:41 so it’s DNC 882 through5 is where that’s
00:36:44 at. Um,
00:36:47 yeah. My favorite section in all the my
00:36:49 favorite section in the Doctrine of
00:36:50 Covenants. Right.
00:36:53 Nice.
00:36:55 So um also I I do want to say this goes
00:36:58 along with um Yeshua coming down from
00:37:02 the clouds in glory. So after the
00:37:05 rapture and at the end of the wrath
00:37:08 where when he then comes down and
00:37:09 touches the ground and causes another
00:37:12 earthquake
00:37:13 right at the mount of olives.
00:37:17 Um so this is uh partly what it’s
00:37:20 dealing with here which is going along
00:37:22 with the second coming. Yeah. So when he
00:37:26 comes back in that instance when it says
00:37:29 and all his angels with him those are
00:37:32 those who have those are those who have
00:37:34 been raptured and those who have been
00:37:35 resurrected. Yes. Now to help support
00:37:39 that, angels means messengers and those
00:37:43 who come unto him
00:37:46 uh become angels in one form or another
00:37:50 either to the world or to the church or
00:37:53 to your neighbor, right? Meaning you’re
00:37:56 preaching Yahweh’s ways. you become a
00:37:59 representative of him, which you need to
00:38:02 be careful so that way you don’t break
00:38:04 the fourth commandment because you’ve
00:38:05 taken his name upon you. So you um
00:38:08 that’s a serious thing. That
00:38:12 is 100%.
00:38:15 Okay, I’m going to move on to verse six.
00:38:19 The voice said, “Cry.” And he said,
00:38:23 “What shall I cry?
00:38:25 All flesh is grass, and all the
00:38:27 goodliness thereof is as the flower of
00:38:30 the
00:38:31 field. The grass witherth, the flower
00:38:34 fadeth, because the spirit of the Lord
00:38:37 bloweth upon it. Surely the people is
00:38:40 grass. Sorry, I just wanted to read
00:38:41 those two verses to kind of finish the
00:38:43 thought. I felt like Oh,
00:38:45 maybe. Okay. Yeah. The grass wi
00:38:49 witherth, the flower fadeth, but the
00:38:51 word of our God shall stand forever.
00:38:56 Okay. So,
00:39:00 um basically kind of showing the
00:39:02 nothingness of man as opposed to
00:39:08 um the I guess the wholeness of
00:39:11 Yahweh. Okay. Um we are I I can tell you
00:39:17 I’m like
00:39:19 gra I feel that way a lot, you know.
00:39:23 Um, and like like it’s
00:39:28 uh we are nothing without him. Okay. I
00:39:32 am nothing without him. Um I’m sure
00:39:36 Stephen would probably agree with that
00:39:37 statement as well as would Ben and Matt.
00:39:40 We are nothing without Y. Um
00:39:44 yes for many reasons. That is true. Yes.
00:39:49 Well, not only that, but I think it’s
00:39:51 interesting that he draws upon the
00:39:53 imagery of grass and flowers. These are
00:39:57 things that fade. These are things that
00:40:00 die. These are things that do not
00:40:04 last. However,
00:40:07 Yahwa stands or Elohim, the word of
00:40:11 Elohim stands forever. The words of man
00:40:16 will die with man. However, the words of
00:40:20 Elohim stand always.
00:40:23 Mhm. Yep. Right. And and one thing I
00:40:26 find interesting, so flower
00:40:30 uh points us to Torah and but it’s a
00:40:34 symbol to
00:40:36 Torah. Um later on in after the
00:40:41 resurrection, we won’t need the symbols
00:40:43 anymore. The I do believe they’ll still
00:40:45 be there. Okay, that’s another but they
00:40:48 won’t be needed because you’ll have them
00:40:51 right there, right? And and in addition
00:40:53 with this being about the second coming,
00:40:57 guess what is going to wither in the
00:40:59 fire and
00:41:01 brimstone that’s coming? The wicked. The
00:41:04 wicked and the even the grass and the
00:41:08 flowers are going to wither away. Yeah.
00:41:11 The the earth is going to be renewed
00:41:13 literally un multiple aspects. Yeah. Um
00:41:19 and so yes, the the if you’re wicked,
00:41:21 you are going to be like the grass and
00:41:23 the flowers that are actually going to
00:41:25 get fire and brimstone because they’re
00:41:27 not going to be raptured up into the
00:41:29 clouds.
00:41:31 Um but even with that,
00:41:35 um the nectar that’s in the flower is
00:41:38 unrefined Torah. You need the bees, the
00:41:42 priest to help you chew it.
00:41:47 Think about it. And think about it. Now,
00:41:49 it’s interesting that the grass has this
00:41:52 also. Cows are a rediment animal. Did I
00:41:57 say that right? Um where they ruminant.
00:42:00 Rudiment. Sorry. Okay. Ruminant. Yeah.
00:42:03 Rent. They uh chew the grass over and
00:42:07 over and over.
00:42:10 again actually uh four times
00:42:16 and they’re chewing on it which is
00:42:18 symbolic of thinking about it. Th this
00:42:21 grass and flower shows that even while
00:42:24 we’re here we only will have
00:42:27 an a
00:42:29 rudiment understanding of Yahweh’s ways.
00:42:34 Yes. But um here
00:42:37 is to get us
00:42:43 to get us to grow to the part the point
00:42:47 that we have this desire. Yes, Yahweh
00:42:51 knows if we’ll get it or not, but if he
00:42:55 gives it to us too
00:42:58 early, as in the refined, because he he
00:43:01 gives the unrefined the nectar to
00:43:04 everyone. Okay. Right. But if he gives
00:43:07 it to
00:43:08 us
00:43:11 refined and and I’m like talking like
00:43:15 second comforter
00:43:17 here. You’ll be still stuck in your
00:43:22 pride and it’ll have a negative effect.
00:43:26 Okay? And there’s examples of this
00:43:28 actually in the scriptures like Saul.
00:43:30 Okay. Um, not to get too much into this,
00:43:35 but if you’re if there’s anyone ever
00:43:38 wondering why not
00:43:40 yet, it’s because he’s waiting for your
00:43:44 heart change, your desire change, your
00:43:48 willingness change because it is
00:43:50 possible for even the sanctified to
00:43:53 fall. Yes. And and Saul’s an example of
00:43:56 that. Um, which then there um I want to
00:44:00 get in this kind of horns. I’m just
00:44:01 going to say this
00:44:03 that if it’s too if he gives it to you
00:44:07 before you’re ready, it will damn you.
00:44:10 And I’ll just leave it at that. And
00:44:12 so if you’re waiting for it to
00:44:19 happen, show him that you want it by
00:44:22 keeping his ways. Keep your promise of
00:44:26 repentance that you made before you were
00:44:28 bought or baptized.
00:44:31 And you’ll get it, but you won’t get it
00:44:34 until Yahw knows you’re ready for it.
00:44:36 Because it will cause you more damage if
00:44:39 you get it too soon. Yes. Amen. Amen.
00:44:43 Oh, sorry. I got a little sidetracked
00:44:45 there. No, that’s fine. That’s fine. Um,
00:44:49 are we ready to move on, do you think?
00:44:52 Yeah. John verse nine.
00:44:55 Yeah. Oh Zion that bringest good
00:44:59 tidings. Get thee up into the high
00:45:01 mountain, oh
00:45:03 Jerusalem that bringest good tidings.
00:45:06 Lift up thy voice with strength. Lift it
00:45:09 up. Be not afraid. Say unto the cities
00:45:12 of
00:45:13 Yoda. Behold your
00:45:16 Elohim. I think I like I think it’s I
00:45:20 like Sorry. What? Go ahead. Go ahead.
00:45:24 What were you saying? Oh, I was just
00:45:26 saying I think it’s interesting the
00:45:27 imagery of get up into the high
00:45:29 mountain essentially um it it’s a
00:45:34 reference back to Moses when he climbed
00:45:36 Si. Correct. Okay. Yeah. So he is
00:45:42 basically telling people to go up
00:45:45 there and uh and get the commandments,
00:45:48 get Torah.
00:45:50 Yeah. Yeah. He he he’s so Zion that
00:45:54 bringeth good tidings. So Zion is an
00:45:57 example to threearters of the
00:46:00 world.
00:46:01 Um as in it’s symbolically is a quarter.
00:46:05 Okay. Uh and you’ll get that from the
00:46:08 fourth seal uh in in Revelations. But
00:46:11 anyways, um they’re actually giving out
00:46:15 good tidings that the majority people
00:46:18 are going to ignore because of their
00:46:20 pride. Uh and they think they know
00:46:23 better. And but these good tidings come
00:46:28 from getting under Yeshua’s covering and
00:46:31 keeping his ways Torah.
00:46:35 Oh you foundation of peace that bringeth
00:46:38 good tidings.
00:46:40 This is a this is what a peacemaker is.
00:46:44 Yes. It brings those good tidings says
00:46:49 that or in these the ways of Yahw
00:46:54 can receive his peace and and these are
00:46:57 good tidings indeed
00:47:02 because now we know how to become like
00:47:04 him.
00:47:13 And once you’ve become like him,
00:47:18 go convert your brothers. Or in other
00:47:20 words, lift up your voice with strength.
00:47:23 Be not afraid. When you are converted,
00:47:26 when you are
00:47:29 changed, strengthen your brethren.
00:47:33 Feed my lambs. feed my
00:47:38 sheep
00:47:40 who they believe in
00:47:43 Yeshua, but they don’t know where to
00:47:46 look. Mhm. Because they’ve just started
00:47:49 as in second there are still a lot of
00:47:52 them out and there’s a ton of them out
00:47:55 there. There’s a lot of good people,
00:47:58 a lot a lot of good-hearted people, I
00:48:01 should say. Oh, yes. Yes. There there
00:48:02 are. They’re just they don’t know where
00:48:05 to look. Yeah.
00:48:08 Um and they’ve believed lies too long
00:48:12 that it will probably take some people a
00:48:15 while to let them go. And it will and it
00:48:18 generally and it’s a and it and
00:48:21 generally people have to hear generally
00:48:25 most people have to hear an idea at
00:48:26 least seven times before they uh before
00:48:30 they begin to absorb it and make it a
00:48:33 part of themselves. Yeah. And then this
00:48:36 last part goes along with the jealousy
00:48:38 that Judah will have against Zion
00:48:42 because they’re like why isn’t Elohim
00:48:45 doing this for us? He’s our God. And
00:48:48 I’ll tell you why he’s not doing it for
00:48:49 them. They’re Because you’re not his
00:48:51 people. Yeah. You have not accepted the
00:48:55 Messiah, which guess what? Your own Old
00:48:58 Testament states the time has passed in
00:49:01 multiple places, including uh Daniel 9.
00:49:05 Um and then in addition, you’re not
00:49:09 keeping his ways.
00:49:11 you you get people to think you are, but
00:49:15 you’re actually not. You’re keeping your
00:49:18 own false
00:49:20 traditions. Keep his actual written
00:49:23 word, not your false
00:49:26 traditions.
00:49:28 And Zion will get them to start thinking
00:49:31 about that because they’re going to be
00:49:34 jealous. Behold your Elohim.
00:49:39 This is the power of your Yahweh that’s
00:49:42 protecting Zion.
00:49:46 Then that’s why the devil.
00:49:50 What? No, I’m just talking to myself.
00:49:53 Okay, gotcha.
00:49:56 Okay. Um, Stephen, verse 10, please.
00:50:01 Behold, Yahweh Elohim will come with a
00:50:04 strong
00:50:05 hand, and his arm shall rule for
00:50:09 him. Behold, his reward is with him, and
00:50:13 his work before him. So, this is talking
00:50:16 about the mighty strong one. Yep. The
00:50:19 right hand or the Yeah. The the strong
00:50:22 hand. The strong hand. Yes. Uhhuh.
00:50:24 That’s it. Hence the mighty and strong
00:50:28 one.
00:50:29 Um and for a time he will rule. Okay. Um
00:50:36 for a half hour or three and a half
00:50:39 years. Um
00:50:41 and then after that he’ll do missionary
00:50:43 work for three and a half years. Take a
00:50:45 three and a half day vacation.
00:50:48 He go back doing missionary work. Yeah.
00:50:50 And go back doing missionary work.
00:50:53 A three and a half day vacation. That’s
00:50:55 what I Okay. So, for those that don’t
00:50:58 get the joke, that’s uh or should we
00:51:01 should we do should we say a three and a
00:51:03 half day nap? Uh yeah, I don’t know.
00:51:07 However you want to say it three and a
00:51:08 half day dirt and a half day dirt nap.
00:51:12 Yeah. Yeah.
00:51:14 Um but uh if we bring in lectures
00:51:18 lectures on faith six which brings out
00:51:22 the reason why the holy prophets were
00:51:25 able to go out and do what they did
00:51:29 despite the consequences that they knew
00:51:31 were going to happen because of the
00:51:32 hatred they would receive is because of
00:51:35 the promises of Yahweh. Hence his
00:51:37 reward. Yes. In addition to do all the
00:51:42 miracles that he needs to do, he has to
00:51:44 be sanctified which is what the greatest
00:51:47 reward is eternal life. And those who
00:51:50 have sanctified and live in that
00:51:52 sanctific those who have been sanctified
00:51:54 and live in that
00:51:55 sanctification have no fear of death.
00:51:59 Yeah.
00:52:01 Because death has lost its sting for
00:52:03 them. It’s just a waiting period between
00:52:10 mortality and immortality.
00:52:14 Yeah. Um Yeah. Because he has his
00:52:17 reward.
00:52:19 Yeah. Yep. Which gives him the strength
00:52:22 to do the
00:52:24 work as is brought out in lectures on
00:52:26 faith six. But anyways, so I do have a
00:52:30 quick question here just to bring this
00:52:32 out in case anybody tries to
00:52:34 differentiate. So he will come with his
00:52:37 strong hand and his and his arm shall
00:52:41 rule for him. The arm and the hand are
00:52:44 the same.
00:52:47 Yes. In this these are two images uh
00:52:51 going towards the mighty and strong one.
00:52:54 the hand is works and the might and
00:52:57 strong is going to be doing the work of
00:52:58 Yahweh. Um because he has his uh power
00:53:03 which is what the arm is. And I ask this
00:53:06 question so that we can eliminate any
00:53:09 confusion as to anybody who might think
00:53:12 they get uh a little too smart and say,
00:53:15 “Oh, it says his his hand and his arm.
00:53:18 It’s two different people.” No, it’s the
00:53:20 same person.
00:53:23 Yeah. Uh the mighty strong one has many
00:53:26 names uh just as Yeshua does and other
00:53:29 people. Um yes. And these names bring
00:53:33 out different aspects or characteristics
00:53:35 of that person. Yeah.
00:53:39 Is to bring out multiple things that uh
00:53:41 he’s going to do is what’s going on
00:53:43 here. Yes. Right.
00:53:47 Okay. Um Ben, verse 11, please.
00:53:52 He shall feed his He shall feed his
00:53:54 flock like a shepherd. He shall gather
00:53:57 the lambs with his arm and carry them in
00:54:00 his h in his
00:54:01 bosom and shall gently lead them and
00:54:05 shall gently lead those that are with
00:54:07 young.
00:54:10 So talking about the level of tender
00:54:12 care, yeah strong one has for those in
00:54:18 Zion.
00:54:22 Yeah. And I think also it goes along
00:54:24 with imagery like Moses who is one of
00:54:27 the most famous uh preparers how he was
00:54:30 taking care of the sheep. Uh Elisha is
00:54:34 another one where he was not taking care
00:54:37 of the sheep but he was tilling the
00:54:39 ground when he got his calling which is
00:54:42 symbolic of calling repentance because
00:54:44 it’s breaking up Satan’s domain.
00:54:47 Yes. Yep.
00:54:50 Yes.
00:54:51 Yeah.
00:54:53 So, yeah, basically has to do with care
00:54:56 and love and mercy. So, so here is um so
00:55:01 in the next verse that’s coming up, we
00:55:03 have a series of rhetorical questions
00:55:08 that point us to a conclusion.
00:55:11 [Music]
00:55:12 So, yes, we do. Whose turn is it to
00:55:15 read?
00:55:16 Zach verse 12.
00:55:28 Yeah. Who have who hath measured the
00:55:31 waters and the hollow of his hand and
00:55:34 meated out heaven with a
00:55:38 span and comprehended the dust of the
00:55:41 earth and a measured and weighed the
00:55:43 mountains and scales and the hills in
00:55:46 their balance.
00:55:49 So some of this uh imagery of let’s just
00:55:52 focus on the
00:55:53 measuring portion goes along with uh
00:55:57 revelations 11 what is it 1 and2 how the
00:56:02 mighty strongman and Aaron are going to
00:56:04 be measuring okay now in there in
00:56:08 revelations 11 and2 it’s talking about
00:56:11 uh building the temple in Zion
00:56:14 um not Jerusalem Zion Zion
00:56:21 Uh but there is this also this same
00:56:23 imagery of measuring as in counting,
00:56:28 knowing of taking care of. Yes. Yeah.
00:56:35 Yeah.
00:56:38 Who hath directed the spirit of the Lord
00:56:41 or being his counselor hath taught
00:56:45 him with uh I’ll just keep Well, I I
00:56:49 think we ought to answer that. Nobody
00:56:51 taught him. Nobody. Nobody taught him.
00:56:53 Nobody taught.
00:56:55 The mighty and strong one is largely
00:57:01 selftaught. If we’re looking at 12 is
00:57:03 about the mighty and strong one as well.
00:57:06 13. Who hath who hath who hath uh
00:57:11 directed the spirit of
00:57:13 Ya or being his counselor taught him?
00:57:17 Who taught the mighty and strong one?
00:57:19 Well, Yahweh through through the ancient
00:57:22 prophets. Um
00:57:27 I who’s his earthly teacher?
00:57:33 Uh I So I’m just going to take a guess
00:57:36 here. Okay. Uh I I would imagine
00:57:39 initially he’d learned some from other
00:57:41 people and I think he will even through
00:57:43 the rest of his life, but the majority
00:57:47 of his teachings are going to be from
00:57:50 him and Yahweh and his word. Um, but I I
00:57:54 would imagine he learned some to help
00:57:57 get him going from other people and then
00:58:00 will always continue to learn from other
00:58:02 people.
00:58:04 But it’ll be tidbits here and there and
00:58:08 if I don’t know if I’m saying it the
00:58:09 best way, but hopefully that Yeah. But
00:58:11 that that continuously learning from
00:58:13 other people is one of the highlights of
00:58:15 a meek person.
00:58:19 Yes. Yes, continually continually
00:58:21 learning new levels at which they can be
00:58:23 humbly obedient to the will of
00:58:26 y constantly learning them from other
00:58:29 people. That is one of the highlights of
00:58:30 a meek
00:58:32 person. Yeah. And so here’s another
00:58:35 example of another preparer Daniel. Even
00:58:38 after all the revelations he got, he
00:58:41 kept studying the scriptures as in
00:58:43 trying to learn from Yahw and his word.
00:58:46 Yeah, that’s
00:58:48 true. And I do believe the coming mighty
00:58:51 strong is going to be the same. Mhm. So,
00:58:55 so
00:58:57 uh this you know it’s interesting the
00:59:00 spirit of the spirit of ya as given as
00:59:04 revealed to us in the written
00:59:06 word. We don’t direct it really. We seek
00:59:09 it. We search it. We we seek to learn
00:59:13 from
00:59:13 it. We don’t direct it. Yes.
00:59:19 Now that’s really that’s really another
00:59:21 aspect that I see in here. Who hath
00:59:23 directed the spirit of Yah.
00:59:27 Well, what is another word for spirit?
00:59:29 But we learn from it constantly.
00:59:33 Well, uh, so as in to answer John’s
00:59:37 question, behavior.
00:59:39 Yes. Yeah. Which could it be that he’s
00:59:42 learning a holy behavior?
00:59:45 Yes. Oh, wait. That Holy Spirit. You
00:59:49 betcha.
00:59:52 You betcha. Now, I asked that question
00:59:54 not because I didn’t know the answer,
00:59:56 but because it’s important to ask that
01:00:01 question. It’s important to understand
01:00:03 the spirit in this
01:00:07 instance, in this iteration does mean
01:00:11 behavior. Who hath directed the behavior
01:00:15 of Yahwa?
01:00:17 or being his counselor hath taught
01:00:20 him. Torah and others uh and initially
01:00:25 others has taught the mighty and strong
01:00:28 one. But mostly it is through the
01:00:32 behavior and living the law and taking
01:00:36 the law upon himself and that behavior
01:00:39 because the law is the instruction on
01:00:42 the behavior of Yahwa.
01:00:46 It is through that that he has been
01:00:50 taught. Exactly.
01:00:55 Okay.
01:00:58 Yes.
01:01:00 So, so anyway,
01:01:04 yes.
01:01:06 Um, so yeah, let’s move on to verse 14.
01:01:11 I believe that’s John. Yep, that’s me.
01:01:17 uh with whom took he counsel and who
01:01:21 instructed him and taught him in the
01:01:23 path of judgment and taught him
01:01:25 knowledge and showed to him the way of
01:01:28 understanding.
01:01:31 Again, these are rhetorical things.
01:01:34 This finishes that
01:01:37 idea. The path of judgment is shown to
01:01:40 us in Torah.
01:01:44 Mhm.
01:01:45 The instruction is Torah.
01:01:50 The knowledge of Yahwa
01:01:53 is Torah. The judgments are given by
01:01:58 Torah. Yes. Yep. Now, I I do believe why
01:02:02 they’re asking these rhetorical
01:02:03 questions because there’s going to be
01:02:06 people that are going to ask, “Where’s
01:02:08 your accreditations?”
01:02:10 Right? In today’s world, which is the
01:02:14 world that the mighty strongman is going
01:02:16 to become unhidden in, right, fairly
01:02:19 soon, um, people are going to ask,
01:02:22 “What’s your accreditations? Where did
01:02:24 you learn theology? What are your
01:02:27 accreditations? And do you have any
01:02:28 peer-reviewed papers?” It’s like,
01:02:31 “Yahweh taught Yahweh taught me. Who’s
01:02:34 your teacher?” Right? And
01:02:39 um so there’s a scene in 40 Sovereign
01:02:43 Ronin that I would imagine is partly
01:02:46 based off of these verses here where he
01:02:49 basically wrote his name as an X as in
01:02:52 trying to show him as an uneducated man,
01:02:56 right?
01:02:59 Yeah. Because he’s not accreditated to
01:03:01 the
01:03:02 world. He he learned from Yahweh in his
01:03:05 word.
01:03:11 Yep. Very, very true. I do think they’re
01:03:13 setting up these questions because he’s
01:03:15 knows what people are going to ask.
01:03:19 It’s like Yahweh knows beginning to the
01:03:21 end or something. Maybe maybe I think he
01:03:24 said something about that, but I think
01:03:26 that said somewhere.
01:03:28 As we go further in here, you’re going
01:03:31 to see more of that here.
01:03:34 Um, if you look at verse 15, Stephen, do
01:03:37 you want to read it real quick? Yeah.
01:03:39 Behold, the nations are as a drop of a
01:03:42 bucket and are counted as a small dust
01:03:46 of the balance. Behold, he taketh up the
01:03:49 aisles as a very little thing. Um, so I
01:03:53 I’ll just do another plug real quick.
01:03:56 Um, so I have a commentary on Charlie
01:03:58 the Chocolate Factory and the Bucket
01:04:01 Family. This is where it comes from is a
01:04:04 bucket of the nations because those um
01:04:08 uh grandparents represent the nations of
01:04:10 the world specifically
01:04:13 um the uh nations in Daniel 2. Oh, but
01:04:18 anyways, nations of the world. But uh
01:04:22 he’s talking about how Yahweh has all
01:04:25 this
01:04:25 power and he taketh up the isles as a
01:04:29 very little thing. Um it’s easy to do
01:04:32 things anywhere for him. Well, and this
01:04:36 is the interesting thing is this comes
01:04:38 as the answer to all those rhetorical
01:04:41 questions. Yeah. Yep.
01:04:45 This is who instructed him. The one who
01:04:48 weighs the n to whom the nations are as
01:04:52 a drop in the bucket and are counted as
01:04:55 a small dust of the balance.
01:04:59 Yeah. who takes up the aisles of the sea
01:05:03 is a very little thing. Yeah, it’s easy
01:05:06 for him. So, yeah, this say this is the
01:05:08 answer. Yahweh.
01:05:10 Yep. Yep. Yahweh in his words.
01:05:15 Ben, do you want to read 16?
01:05:18 Okay. Uh, right down there. Yep. I’ll
01:05:22 read 17, too. Okay. And Lebanon is
01:05:26 Lebanon is not sufficient to burn, nor
01:05:29 the beasts thereof sufficient for a
01:05:31 burnt offering. All nations before him
01:05:34 are as nothing, and they are counted to
01:05:36 him as
01:05:38 uh to counted to him less than nothing
01:05:41 and vanity.
01:05:43 Yeah. So Lebanon was a place where they
01:05:47 grew tall
01:05:49 trees. They were the cedars. Yes. Cedar
01:05:52 trees. It’s all cedaters that were, you
01:05:55 know, very coveted, I guess, um, in
01:06:00 their day, right? The wood was coveted
01:06:03 for construction. Yes, exactly. So, it’s
01:06:07 saying that not even like that’s not
01:06:11 even Yeah, that’s nothing
01:06:14 basically. Um, and go ahead. Well, the
01:06:18 there’s a lot of illusions going on
01:06:20 here. Uh if I could uh bring out a
01:06:23 couple things. Of course, please. So the
01:06:25 the Levian has to do with pride. Okay.
01:06:28 Yes. The lofty cheaters. The lofty
01:06:31 cheaters. Yes. So I mean this is
01:06:35 bringing out how we need to do more than
01:06:39 just get rid of our own pride. Okay.
01:06:42 Yeah.
01:06:43 Um, as in we need a savior because even
01:06:48 if
01:06:50 we have started keeping Torah now,
01:06:55 we still deserve the punishment of
01:06:57 death, physical and spiritual, which is
01:06:59 separation from Yahw. Yeah.
01:07:03 It’s not saying this burning is bad.
01:07:06 It’s saying it’s not enough. Right. This
01:07:10 is a great verse that goes totally
01:07:14 against the idea that all of these
01:07:17 Christian ministers are putting out
01:07:19 right now that the burnt offerings were
01:07:21 meant as an atonement. They were never
01:07:25 enough for an atonement for sin. They
01:07:28 were never meant for that. Yeah. And you
01:07:30 can get that from Hebrews also, not just
01:07:33 this Isaiah 40 in the Old Testament.
01:07:35 They would say it’s in the New
01:07:37 Testament. They just don’t want to
01:07:38 listen.
01:07:41 And part of their idea comes from some
01:07:44 bad translations in the uh Torah and I
01:07:48 think in specifically on this issue is
01:07:50 Leviticus if I remember correctly. Yeah.
01:07:52 Yes. Um
01:07:56 but we won’t get into that. But also I I
01:08:00 want to bring out another thing here.
01:08:02 This goes
01:08:04 with the daily wood burning that Yeah.
01:08:09 is to come back. Okay. Yes. Um Yeah.
01:08:14 That’s an offering. That is it is an
01:08:17 offering and it and the wood burning is
01:08:20 an eternal offering
01:08:23 because his work is eternal and that is
01:08:26 to burn out the pride of man. In the
01:08:31 millennial temple the fire and the altar
01:08:34 will never cease to burn. Correct. And
01:08:39 which it’s the wood and that is the wood
01:08:42 offering. But what comes from trees
01:08:45 which represent men
01:08:48 Yeshua’s work and glory is the bringing
01:08:51 to pass the immortality eternal life of
01:08:54 man. And
01:08:56 uh the
01:08:58 part that
01:09:02 he needs us to do so that way it doesn’t
01:09:05 condemn us more is getting rid of our
01:09:07 pride and to listen to him and to accept
01:09:10 him. Right?
01:09:14 The immortality is a free
01:09:16 gift but eternal life is something we
01:09:19 have to work with him to get. So and
01:09:22 then also nor the beast thereof
01:09:24 sufficient for a burnt offering. So
01:09:27 sufficient means enough. It was never
01:09:32 enough. Never.
01:09:36 We’ve all needed him, including Adam
01:09:39 always. That lamb skin
01:09:43 that he took upon him, Adam, was
01:09:47 representative of the lamb that John
01:09:51 told us is the son of man, Yeshua.
01:09:55 Yes.
01:09:57 Thing is that sacrifice has been offered
01:10:00 since Adam. Um, and those sacrifices
01:10:05 were not were not what atoned the the
01:10:08 sacrifices have never atoned for sin.
01:10:11 No, they
01:10:13 were they’re part So, there’s two parts
01:10:16 of repenting. Okay. First,
01:10:19 going to the person you wronged and then
01:10:23 going to Yahweh. In in both cases, you
01:10:27 had to do something to fix. These
01:10:31 offerings are akin to how we have to
01:10:36 give something back to fix with man just
01:10:39 as we have to give something back to God
01:10:42 to fix to him. Yeah. Yes. And just
01:10:47 another thing to bring out, I think
01:10:49 that’s important is the scriptures tell
01:10:52 us
01:10:54 that Yeshua was slain from the
01:10:57 foundations of the earth. Yeah. Right.
01:11:00 Or from before the foundations of the
01:11:02 earth. Right.
01:11:06 So what is available to
01:11:09 us was available to Abraham and
01:11:12 everybody else
01:11:14 because again alluding back to his word
01:11:18 is you know uh what was what was the
01:11:23 word that he used again earlier in the
01:11:26 in in the chapter? Um
01:11:30 basically yeah because he said
01:11:34 it it was done. Okay.
01:11:39 So there was no difference between what
01:11:44 they had to
01:11:45 do before Yeshua
01:11:48 came and what would be expected later.
01:11:52 You know what I’m saying? Right.
01:11:55 So yeah,
01:11:57 like so it was never enough to do the
01:12:00 sacrifices like you said, never ever
01:12:02 was. It was always about the sacrifice
01:12:05 of Yeshua. Yes. In fact, these offerings
01:12:08 point to that in various and that’s a
01:12:12 whole another discussion on how each one
01:12:14 in fact it’s probably a discussion on
01:12:16 each individual sacrifice how it
01:12:19 probably discussion on each one. But I I
01:12:22 do want to finish my one thought on in
01:12:25 sermon Torah which is more known as
01:12:27 sermon on the mount. He talks about uh
01:12:31 when you’re going to go do these burnt
01:12:34 offerings first go
01:12:37 make what you did right with someone
01:12:40 else then offer your offering. And I am
01:12:44 saying that’s because first you make it
01:12:48 right with
01:12:48 [Applause]
01:12:51 man. And then you do your offering to
01:12:55 Yahweh to finish that repentance.
01:12:58 Because there are two parts to
01:12:59 repentance. Those you’ve
01:13:02 wronged and and which includes
01:13:06 Yahweh. In fact, David even says when he
01:13:09 broke Torah, he wronged Yahweh.
01:13:13 Yeah.
01:13:16 And these are and how we pay Yahweh back
01:13:20 as we as we pay man back are these
01:13:22 offerings. It’s not because he needs it.
01:13:26 It’s to
01:13:27 show our desire and our need to
01:13:35 be give back something to him for what
01:13:39 we did to him. It’s essentially a show
01:13:43 of It’s essentially a show of
01:13:45 contrition. Correct. Yeah.
01:13:49 Mhm. Yeah. Because there’s nothing that
01:13:51 we can do to do that. All we can do is
01:13:55 show our desire to do that.
01:14:01 That’s very true. I also like in verse
01:14:05 17 where it says, “All nations before
01:14:08 him are as nothing. they are counted to
01:14:11 him less than nothing and vanity. But
01:14:14 even countries like the US, right, who
01:14:18 have enjoyed a a nice run, right?
01:14:22 Yes. You know, not over but yes,
01:14:26 powerful nations. All they are to him is
01:14:29 just a bunch of vanity.
01:14:31 Yeah. Well, are based off
01:14:35 I think it’s interesting. He counts them
01:14:39 less than
01:14:41 nothing and
01:14:43 vanity. So the interesting and and
01:14:47 there’s something to be said for that.
01:14:52 Um, when you
01:14:57 realize that not all the the nations as
01:15:02 we understand them
01:15:08 um are not what is. Yeah. A lot of what
01:15:13 we see is what that is what we are
01:15:16 conditioned to see.
01:15:19 Yeah. through a lot of propaganda I
01:15:21 think. Oh yeah.
01:15:24 Oh yeah.
01:15:28 Yep. For
01:15:30 sure. Okay. Um where do who was the last
01:15:34 person to read? Was the last one to
01:15:35 read? Okay. So that would be Zach. Verse
01:15:39 18, please.
01:15:41 Zach may be feeling important still.
01:15:45 Okay. Let’s skip over. I will read I
01:15:47 will read verse 18 then to whom then
01:15:51 will you liken God or what likeness will
01:15:54 you compare unto
01:15:56 him?
01:15:58 Uh let’s see. Well, this is I would say
01:16:02 a rhetorical question. Yes, it is.
01:16:06 Ultimately, there’s a lot of parables
01:16:08 and simileies and procedures and rights
01:16:12 and so on and so forth that help teach
01:16:14 us aspects of him, but in total, there’s
01:16:19 nothing like him. That’s true. But we’re
01:16:22 gonna see here this u these questions
01:16:26 are kind of leading us into the next
01:16:28 little topic that he’s gonna talk about.
01:16:31 Okay.
01:16:34 Um so in verse 19, John, do you want to
01:16:38 read that? Absolutely. The workman
01:16:42 meltth a grave in image and the
01:16:43 goldsmith spreadth it over with gold and
01:16:46 casteth silver chains.
01:16:51 Yes. So, um directly talking about um
01:17:01 well, we’re we’re we’re we’re definitely
01:17:03 talking about uh breaking of the second
01:17:05 commandment here of uh having no um
01:17:09 worshiping no graven images, right?
01:17:12 Um and
01:17:14 um basically I I like the imagery of the
01:17:18 silver chains chains of chains of hell.
01:17:21 Yeah. Um that uh
01:17:26 that will end up I guess taking those
01:17:30 people who are doing those uh graven
01:17:33 images and worshiping those graven
01:17:35 images. Yeah. Yeah, I did. Along with
01:17:38 this though, I do want to bring out how
01:17:40 the gold smmith brought his gold over
01:17:41 it. They’re making this piece of garbage
01:17:45 make look good. Putting lipstick on a
01:17:48 pig essentially. Yeah, that’s another
01:17:50 way of saying. Okay, got you. Yeah, I I
01:17:56 love how you used a non-coosher animal.
01:18:00 Well, pigs are a bad image throughout
01:18:04 the scriptures, including Isaiah 66,
01:18:06 which does deals with the millennium,
01:18:09 right? Yeah. In this case, I think I
01:18:12 think the putting lipstick on a pig is
01:18:14 is a very good um it’s an app
01:18:18 description. What I see here is a
01:18:21 description of the process by which a uh
01:18:24 a grave and image is made.
01:18:29 And in the same instance, he’s also
01:18:32 talking about the process whereby we are
01:18:34 enslaved to hell as we work on these as
01:18:39 we work out these graven
01:18:43 images because
01:18:49 um he can’t he
01:18:52 mel what is this? He meltth a grave in
01:18:55 him. The workman melteth a grave in
01:18:59 image and then casts gold over
01:19:03 it. The gold smmith spreadth gold over
01:19:06 spreadth it over with
01:19:08 gold. We’re trapped in we’re we’re kind
01:19:14 we kind of
01:19:15 u we we create the
01:19:18 idol. We seem to prosper with our idol
01:19:23 and before we know it, we’re bound
01:19:26 to that chains of hell, the fate of that
01:19:28 idol. Yeah. So, some I I let me say
01:19:32 something real quick. There’s three
01:19:33 levels here.
01:19:35 Okay.
01:19:37 The top of Satan’s leaders will make the
01:19:41 grave an image. Yeah. the middle
01:19:44 management or the moons will make it
01:19:48 look good to others and then the
01:19:50 followers uh will go to hell following
01:19:54 it. Yeah.
01:19:57 So I I
01:19:59 I keep reading into it but I think it’s
01:20:01 there because there is three levels of
01:20:03 hell in other places. So
01:20:09 very good point. All right.
01:20:13 Um John, did you read that one or did I?
01:20:15 I did. I I Okay, so Stephen, verse 20,
01:20:18 please. Yeah. He that is so unoverous
01:20:22 that he hath
01:20:24 no obl oblation.
01:20:28 Oblation. Obl oblation. Sorry, I have a
01:20:31 speech impediment comes out
01:20:32 occasionally. Choosth a tree that will
01:20:34 not rot. He seeketh unto him a cunning
01:20:38 workman to prepare a graven image that
01:20:41 hath that shall not be moved. So here’s
01:20:44 a poor person, right, that instead of uh
01:20:48 getting the graven image with uh some
01:20:50 type of metal, he’s doing it with a
01:20:52 cheap tree
01:20:55 or a totem pole. Yeah. Yeah. or totem or
01:21:00 the groves or anything in actually in
01:21:04 Norse culture also in Norse culture they
01:21:07 would have people carve out their image
01:21:11 the images of their gods in trees or
01:21:14 with trees. Yeah.
01:21:20 Yep.
01:21:21 Yeah. So this is all very Yeah. Um this
01:21:25 is going along with the same idea of
01:21:27 verse 19. So you have the rich people
01:21:29 and the poor people. Yeah. Yeah. The
01:21:32 rich are put metal. The impoverished
01:21:34 which are the poor are doing it with
01:21:36 wood.
01:21:38 Yep. And now
01:21:41 I think it’s interesting I think it’s
01:21:44 interesting that the poor see the rich
01:21:47 doing it and the poor see the rich
01:21:49 prospering. And so the poor say I want
01:21:53 some of that. So that’s why they go and
01:21:56 they make those
01:21:59 images with the wood because maybe the
01:22:02 wood will bring them prosperity as well.
01:22:07 Well, and I think it’s interesting that
01:22:08 it says a tree because a tree can
01:22:10 symbolize people. And so there’s a lot
01:22:14 of people who don’t know any better that
01:22:18 chooses a a man as a leader or an image
01:22:21 grave image that they follow. True.
01:22:23 Wait, as a role model.
01:22:27 Yeah. Yeah. So, um I also think it’s
01:22:31 interesting the use of the word cunning.
01:22:33 Where have we seen the the word cunning
01:22:36 used? Or with whom have we seen the word
01:22:39 cunning used? The devil. The devil.
01:22:42 Exactly.
01:22:46 He seeketh unto him a cunning workman.
01:22:52 Yes.
01:22:53 uh ancient image and you know a lot of
01:22:56 people
01:22:57 uh worship their favorite celebrity and
01:23:01 their favorite leader. So yeah that’s
01:23:04 true.
01:23:06 Okay, more rhetorical questions coming
01:23:09 up here. So um hold on Stephen, you just
01:23:13 read that. So Ben, can you read those
01:23:15 rhetorical questions in 21? I’ll also
01:23:19 I I also want to read the answer in 22.
01:23:23 Okay, go ahead. Have you not known? Have
01:23:26 ye not
01:23:28 heard? Hath it not been told you from
01:23:31 the
01:23:32 beginning? Have you not understood from
01:23:34 the foundations of the earth?
01:23:37 It is he that sitth upon the circle of
01:23:40 the earth, and the inhabitants thereof
01:23:43 are as
01:23:45 grasshoppers, that uh stretcheth that
01:23:48 stretcheth out the heavens as a curtain,
01:23:51 and that spreadth them out as a tent to
01:23:54 dwell in.
01:23:58 So, uh grasshoppers goes along with
01:24:03 curses. Uh, and my favorite place to
01:24:06 shows this is Deuteronomy 28:29.
01:24:10 Yes. Uh, and a modern place to see this
01:24:13 is in
01:24:15 Pinocchio cuz it’s the grasshopper
01:24:18 that’s warning him of the consequences
01:24:21 of him falling against his light of
01:24:23 Christ, which is, you know, the un
01:24:27 um purified Torah, right? It’s kind of
01:24:31 the raw soul. Um, yeah. He that sitth
01:24:34 upon the circle of the
01:24:36 earth and the inhabitants thereof. By
01:24:38 the way, this he that siteth upon the
01:24:41 circle of the earth is not a reference
01:24:43 to the earth is a disc is as a disc
01:24:46 circle. No, this is not supporting flat
01:24:50 earth.
01:24:52 Um, it’s this is imagery. And also, if
01:24:57 we want to get into Hebrew to talk about
01:24:59 the flat earth stuff, we can, but I
01:25:01 don’t know if Andrew wants to. I don’t
01:25:04 think I just wanted to point that out
01:25:07 rather than Yeah. Yeah. You don’t need
01:25:10 to go into great depth on that.
01:25:13 We don’t need to go into
01:25:17 Yeah. Um, no, that’s a good point
01:25:19 though. That that’s that’s a very good
01:25:21 point. Um, it’s talking about the
01:25:22 surface which has nothing to do
01:25:25 with the shape of the earth,
01:25:28 right? And and on top of that, if you’re
01:25:30 gonna take that part literal, are are
01:25:33 people actually grasshoppers? Because
01:25:35 this is referring to people here. Well,
01:25:39 only if you listen to some um I guess
01:25:43 Asian movies where they talk about
01:25:45 grasshoppers. Maybe if you maybe if you
01:25:47 think Jiminy Cricket was Maybe if you
01:25:49 think Jiminy Cricket was a person.
01:25:57 Okay. So, uh, and stretch out the heaven
01:26:00 as a curtain as in you need Yahweh’s
01:26:03 covering, right? Yeah. And stretch them
01:26:06 out as a tent to dwell in. So, dwelling
01:26:09 in a tent is an idiom of studying Torah,
01:26:13 the purpose of life. And I can show
01:26:15 scriptures for this if Andrew wants me
01:26:17 to is come into Yahweh, keep Torah, and
01:26:22 then help others to do the same.
01:26:28 Yeah, that’s true. Now, but because we
01:26:32 have broken the law and deserve death,
01:26:34 we deserve curses, which is why we’re
01:26:36 grasshoppers.
01:26:38 Yes. But hopefully, we’ll get Yeshua’s
01:26:43 covering upon us. which then we will
01:26:46 study out Torah to become more like him
01:26:48 and keep that promise that we made to
01:26:51 get that covering.
01:26:53 Yep.
01:26:56 Very true.
01:26:59 So anyways, this was very uh very
01:27:03 symbolic,
01:27:04 very imagery.
01:27:06 And by the way, uh the rhetorical
01:27:09 questions in verse
01:27:11 24, Torah is from the beginning. Yep.
01:27:19 From Adam. Have ye not understood? From
01:27:23 the foundations of the earth. Where is
01:27:25 the foundations of the earth? It is with
01:27:29 Adam. It’s Well, what he’s saying from
01:27:31 the creation of the earth.
01:27:34 Yeah. Well, so we were taught Torah
01:27:38 before we we were taught Torah before we
01:27:41 came down. I agree. I agree. I agree. So
01:27:44 I think the foundations is before Adam
01:27:47 personally, but I I think what he’s
01:27:49 saying since since the earth was
01:27:51 created, you we’ve been teaching this.
01:27:55 Yeah. Right. But it’s readily apparent
01:27:58 that they haven’t understood. Yeah.
01:28:01 That they haven’t heard. Yeah. Because
01:28:05 even though it has been taught to them.
01:28:07 Yeah.
01:28:09 Yeah. And so he asks the questions,
01:28:12 “Wait a minute. I told you this. Haven’t
01:28:14 you heard?” Mhm. Do you not understand?
01:28:19 Well, then even on top of that, he’s
01:28:21 telling everybody the light of Christ,
01:28:24 right? Yeah. The light of Christ is in
01:28:27 every man. the root rudiment the
01:28:29 rudimentary
01:28:32 um the
01:28:35 uh undeveloped uh unprocessed
01:28:40 Torah is within each of us. Yep.
01:28:45 Yeah. Or unrefined. Right.
01:28:49 There’s lots of ways to say it. They all
01:28:50 mean the same thing in this context. So,
01:28:53 right.
01:28:56 Okay. verse 23 that bringeth the princes
01:29:00 to nothing and maketh the judges of the
01:29:03 earth as
01:29:05 vanity. So um basically again even those
01:29:11 people who are in high and and um
01:29:14 esteemed
01:29:16 places or um in in positions of great
01:29:20 authority or nothing. Yeah. So here
01:29:25 here’s an an illusion that’s actually
01:29:26 used on sermon on Torah or Sermon on the
01:29:29 mount, right? The glory of Solomon was
01:29:32 nothing as these um
01:29:36 as the liies of the field. Yeah. Yeah.
01:29:40 Liies of the field. Okay. Sorry. So, uh
01:29:43 Solomon was a king, not a prince. And he
01:29:46 still had nothing like the glory of the
01:29:49 flowers. Now, the reason why is because
01:29:52 flowers represent Torah.
01:29:56 The reason that Yahweh Yeshua has glory
01:30:00 is because he kept Torah perfectly. The
01:30:03 reason that we can have glory is because
01:30:06 we come under his covering and then keep
01:30:09 Torah perfectly.
01:30:11 Sanctification after.
01:30:14 Yes. Yeah. The thing people often get
01:30:18 confused and say that those who believe
01:30:21 in keeping Torah have a worksbased
01:30:25 salvation when really what the works
01:30:29 are is the walk is our walk in the
01:30:32 spirit, our walk in faith. Right? So,
01:30:35 and and I think part of the confusion is
01:30:37 our salvation is because of the blood of
01:30:40 the
01:30:41 lamb, but we are then rewarded for our
01:30:45 works after that. And that’s the thing
01:30:48 that people forget. Even the New
01:30:50 Testament talks about rewarded for your
01:30:53 works. And even sermon on Torah brings
01:30:57 out how there’s different degrees of
01:30:59 glory. Even in the first chapter of it,
01:31:02 Matthew 5 talks about how there’s the
01:31:06 greatest.
01:31:09 Wait a minute. So if someone’s greater,
01:31:11 someone’s lower, which means there are
01:31:14 degrees of glory. Yes.
01:31:18 It’s and it’s not only the restoration
01:31:21 that believes this. There are others.
01:31:25 Now, the
01:31:27 restoration is the most famous for it,
01:31:30 but it’s not the only ones that believe
01:31:32 it. There’s others that talk about it,
01:31:35 and you can see throughout the Bible,
01:31:37 even without the New Translation or
01:31:40 Joseph Smith translation or the inspired
01:31:42 version. I’ll share a link that I do
01:31:45 some of that on. Um, but it’s everywhere
01:31:50 if you know what to look for. Like I
01:31:51 just said, sermon on the mount, sermon
01:31:53 on the Torah says it in the first
01:31:55 chapter.
01:31:57 Greater. That mean there’s lesser, which
01:32:00 means there’s degrees of glory.
01:32:04 And you get that glory for reward of
01:32:07 your work after you’ve been saved by the
01:32:10 blood of the lamb.
01:32:12 Yes.
01:32:13 In fact, this also goes back to
01:32:15 something we talked about earlier from
01:32:18 Paul
01:32:20 with keep Torah. Don’t keep sinning.
01:32:25 The problem is if you keep
01:32:28 sinning, you you you lose your
01:32:33 light, your light of Christ, which then
01:32:37 could get to the point where you deny
01:32:39 the Holy Spirit, which is Torah, the
01:32:41 law, which would mean that you would
01:32:44 deny the Messiah. Because if there is no
01:32:47 law, there’s no need for a Messiah.
01:32:50 Yep.
01:32:51 It’s not something anybody can take away
01:32:54 from you but yourself.
01:32:57 Yeah. Because it’s your beliefs and
01:32:59 desires that do that. And the problem if
01:33:01 you keep sinning and thinking it’s okay,
01:33:03 you’re going to start thinking that
01:33:04 there’s no more law and then you don’t
01:33:07 need the Messiah. Cuz what if there’s no
01:33:09 law, why do you need a Messiah?
01:33:13 That’s a very good
01:33:15 point. But then that makes you that
01:33:18 makes you lawless at that point. So when
01:33:20 so when so so when you so when so when
01:33:27 whoever preaches this preaches
01:33:30 it the law was done away at the
01:33:35 cross. They’re preaching Antichrist.
01:33:41 Yeah. Ultimately,
01:33:44 ultimately now they the odds are on most
01:33:48 of them don’t understand that. Uh yes,
01:33:52 and when they first accept it, they
01:33:55 could still be under Yeshua’s
01:33:57 covering. But here’s the
01:34:00 risk. If there is no law, there is no
01:34:03 need for a savior because there’s no
01:34:06 sin.
01:34:08 Yep. And so it
01:34:12 We’re
01:34:15 not
01:34:17 beliefs can condemn you because beliefs
01:34:20 goes into actions and desires and and
01:34:22 and even on this point here, if you stop
01:34:25 believing in the Messiah, you’re a son
01:34:27 of predition, you’ve committed the um
01:34:30 rejection of the Holy Spirit. Yep.
01:34:35 Because without the law, there’s no need
01:34:36 for the a Messiah.
01:34:39 That’s true. I I I’ve hammered that a
01:34:41 lot. I’ll leave it alone. And the
01:34:43 rejection of the Holy Spirit is the law.
01:34:46 Re the rejection of this Holy Spirit is
01:34:48 the rejection of of the Holy Spirit. of
01:34:50 the law. Yeah. Because the
01:34:53 law and the and it’s a simple uh it’s a
01:34:57 simple process by which we get this. The
01:35:01 law is the revelation of the Holy
01:35:04 Spirit. Therefore, it is the Holy
01:35:06 Spirit. To reject the law is to reject
01:35:09 the Holy Spirit. Right? And
01:35:13 rejecting
01:35:14 it is also rejecting Messiah. Not only
01:35:17 because it means you don’t think you
01:35:19 need a Messiah,
01:35:20 but it teaches us about who the Messiah
01:35:24 is, his character,
01:35:26 attributes, and the reasons we need him
01:35:29 and the things that he Amen. did.
01:35:32 There’s just so much about the Messiah
01:35:34 and the law that people don’t see.
01:35:38 Uhhuh.
01:35:39 Which hopefully some of these recordings
01:35:41 will help bring some stuff out. But
01:35:42 anyways, Amen. Yeah. Yes.
01:35:48 [Music]
01:35:49 He’s the p perfect personification of it
01:35:54 and the law testifies of him and shows
01:35:57 how his different modes are working and
01:36:03 why they’re needed. But anyways, sorry.
01:36:06 No, that’s that’s great. I I appreciate
01:36:11 um that’s very well said and a message
01:36:15 that too few people understand
01:36:18 unfortunately.
01:36:21 Um John verse 24, please.
01:36:25 Absolutely. All right, here we are.
01:36:28 Yay, they shall not be planted. Yay,
01:36:30 they shall not be sown. Yay, their stock
01:36:33 shall not take root in the earth. And he
01:36:36 shall also blow upon them, and they
01:36:38 shall wither, and the whirlwind shall
01:36:40 take them up uh take them away as
01:36:43 stubble. So they are the rich, mighty,
01:36:46 and powerful of the earth.
01:36:49 Yep. And uh
01:36:53 that’s what’s going to happen to them
01:36:54 coming up. But this is but not just
01:36:57 because they’re rich, mighty, and
01:36:58 powerful in the earth, but because they
01:37:00 stand up against the mighty and strong
01:37:03 one and the establishment of Zion. Yeah.
01:37:09 I I’ll just also say uh
01:37:13 here so from Torah, Yeshua’s favorite
01:37:16 book was Deuteronomy. despite all the
01:37:18 controversy with that book. It’s anyways
01:37:22 and from the
01:37:23 prophets, his favorite was Isaiah. And
01:37:26 guess what? His parable of the sword,
01:37:30 uh, you can see bits of that from here.
01:37:32 It’s like he it’s almost like he liked
01:37:38 Isaiah. Sorry. I think you’ll find that
01:37:41 uh Yeshua said very little that wasn’t
01:37:44 already taught. Oh, yeah. Yeah. um
01:37:48 before that. So yes, he was a restorer.
01:37:51 He wasn’t teaching new things. He was
01:37:54 helping people understand what was
01:37:55 already taught.
01:37:57 And when he taught, he taught directly
01:37:59 from the scriptures. Yeah. And then
01:38:02 counted them as we’re doing here. So
01:38:05 wait a minute, wait a minute. So did he
01:38:07 teach with
01:38:08 power? Does that mean the power comes
01:38:11 from the word? Yeah. Yeah. the the
01:38:14 scriptures, including the Book of
01:38:16 Mormon, teaches that Torah is power.
01:38:19 I find it interesting that in the New
01:38:21 Testament, it talks about people um
01:38:25 marveled at Yeshua and his teaching
01:38:29 because he taught with power and
01:38:30 authority, not like the scribes and
01:38:34 Pharisees.
01:38:37 Yes, that’s true. So, the scribes and
01:38:39 the Pharisees, you know what they are?
01:38:44 Scholars Scholars quote other men. Yep.
01:38:49 Without any understanding and knowing if
01:38:51 it’s right or wrong. They just they just
01:38:54 quote them. That’s what the scribes and
01:38:55 the Pharisees do. They just quote them.
01:38:57 Most often most often scholars quote
01:39:00 other men to bolster the authority that
01:39:04 they do not have in and of themselves.
01:39:07 Right? And that’s what they were doing,
01:39:10 which is contrast to Yeshua
01:39:14 knowing what the truth is and speaking
01:39:16 it
01:39:16 boldly with the backing of Torah.
01:39:22 Yep.
01:39:24 Yep.
01:39:26 Don’t be able to quote people.
01:39:30 If anything, that will make you more
01:39:33 condemned.
01:39:35 Mhm.
01:39:37 Amen. Keep Torah
01:39:41 first to come unto Yeshua and be like
01:39:44 him and then help others to do the same,
01:39:46 which is a peacemaker.
01:39:51 Don’t be a peacekeeper, be a peacemaker.
01:39:55 Yeah. Um Yeah. All right. Just quoting
01:39:59 some words will do nothing but make you
01:40:01 look good in front of men which you had
01:40:03 your reward. Oh yeah, I quoted sermon on
01:40:06 Torah again.
01:40:09 You’ll get your reward. Yep. It won’t
01:40:12 last.
01:40:14 You’ll get yours.
01:40:16 You won’t. Unfortunately, Unfortunately
01:40:20 for a lot, it will last.
01:40:24 Oh, yeah. But remember, this is but a
01:40:28 drop in the bucket, Andy. I know. I get
01:40:31 you. Um, go get Okay, so let me put it
01:40:34 another way. Go get a better reward. How
01:40:36 about that?
01:40:38 There you go. That’s Andrew’s trying to
01:40:41 mess up my imagery, but there you go.
01:40:44 I’m
01:40:45 just You’re teasing me. You could you uh
01:40:50 scroll up to where we have like 24 at
01:40:53 the top. I’m sorry. That that’ll take us
01:40:56 to the end of the Wait, wait, can say
01:40:59 say that one more time. Scroll it to
01:41:01 where Four is at the top.
01:41:04 Okay. Sorry. That’ll take us to the end
01:41:06 of the chapter most likely. All right.
01:41:09 So, Stephen, could you do number 25?
01:41:12 Uhhuh. To whom then will ye liken me? Or
01:41:16 shall I be equal? Sayaith the Holy One.
01:41:20 Another great rhetorical question. Who
01:41:23 the heck do you think you are? No. Um,
01:41:26 it’s like or who? No, I think it’s more
01:41:28 who do you think I am?
01:41:31 That’s true. Yeah. And and an answer is
01:41:33 from another place is I’m not like a man
01:41:37 and he’s going to go into exactly who he
01:41:40 is again moving
01:41:43 forward. Um did you guys have anything
01:41:46 else you wanted to say about verse 25?
01:41:52 Did you have anything you wanted no? I’m
01:41:54 good. All right. Ben 26, please. Okay.
01:41:58 Okay.
01:42:03 Let’s see. Lift up your eyes on high.
01:42:06 And behold, who hath created these
01:42:08 things that bringeth out their host by
01:42:12 number? He calleth them all by
01:42:16 names. By the greatness of his
01:42:19 might, for that he is strong in power.
01:42:22 Not one faileth.
01:42:29 Wow.
01:42:31 Lift up your eyes. Yep.
01:42:35 So, this is the his called servants that
01:42:38 were
01:42:40 prepared as it made ready
01:42:44 at the same time he was before the
01:42:46 foundation. He knows their names. He
01:42:48 knows their names.
01:42:51 You can say they were what? Written in
01:42:54 the book of life.
01:42:56 Yes. You know the book of life because
01:43:00 the book of life is Torah because it
01:43:02 teaches you how to live life and their
01:43:05 names are in it because it’s their
01:43:07 character. Name means character. Their
01:43:12 characters written in Yahweh’s ways and
01:43:15 those are those who are saved
01:43:19 receive have eternal life. Right?
01:43:22 Because there’s a little difference. I
01:43:24 think this is this is awesome. He
01:43:27 because he is strong in power not one
01:43:32 baith. Exactly. Again going back to
01:43:37 because of
01:43:39 him, right? Because ultimately none of
01:43:43 us we’re we’re nothing, right? We’re
01:43:45 we’re absolutely nothing. Because of his
01:43:51 strength, these people don’t fail.
01:43:57 Yes. Right. Right. Because they’ve come
01:44:00 under his covering. Yes. And get power
01:44:04 from the almighty.
01:44:07 Mhm.
01:44:09 Yeah. That was just something that kind
01:44:11 of popped out at me just now.
01:44:14 So, didn’t really notice it until just
01:44:17 now. So, that’s that’s awesome.
01:44:23 Um, who read just now? Not me.
01:44:28 Ben. Okay. So, uh, give me a second.
01:44:33 Zach’s not back yet. So um why sayest
01:44:37 thou, oh Jacob, and speakest, oh Israel,
01:44:41 my way is hid from the Lord, and my
01:44:43 judgment is passed over from my
01:44:48 God. How feeble is all I’m going to say.
01:44:53 Oh, yeah. This is uh men, wicked men,
01:44:57 trying to claim that they didn’t know
01:44:59 Yahweh’s ways, right? Yep.
01:45:03 He’s asking why do you say his ways are
01:45:06 hidden? Because they’re not. No, it’s
01:45:10 everywhere.
01:45:12 Going back to Sorry, go ahead. Finish
01:45:14 your thought. But
01:45:16 it as in uh Elma 30 brings out all
01:45:20 things testify that Yahweh is Elohim.
01:45:23 And they also do testify of his ways. If
01:45:28 you sit down and think about it, and if
01:45:30 nothing else, think about how you want
01:45:32 people to treat you. That testifies
01:45:35 also.
01:45:37 Yep.
01:45:38 Um, his ways are not hard. And or
01:45:42 they’re not hidden. They’re out there
01:45:43 forever. I mean,
01:45:46 just the Bible’s like everywhere. So is
01:45:50 the Book of Mormon. Is that is that in
01:45:54 Deuteronomy 29 where it
01:45:56 says that basically you don’t have to go
01:46:00 across the sea to find it? You don’t
01:46:03 have to send somebody to go get it. It’s
01:46:06 right there. Well, I think that’s
01:46:08 Deuteronomy 30. But anyways, it might be
01:46:11 30. Yeah. But regardless, like
01:46:16 it’s near as complex as people make it
01:46:18 out to be, right? And then on top of
01:46:21 that, all adults have the light of
01:46:24 Christ, which is the unrefined Torah,
01:46:27 his way.
01:46:30 Mhm.
01:46:32 It It’s he gives it to all adults. And
01:46:36 so it’s not hidden.
01:46:39 Yeah. It is not hidden. No. It’s in you.
01:46:44 Which is why Yeshua said, “The kingdom
01:46:46 of heaven is within.”
01:46:48 Because the kingdom of
01:46:51 heaven is Torah. Amen. Which is written
01:46:56 on the hearts of all
01:46:58 the believers because it’s not written
01:47:00 in the heart of the wicked but of the
01:47:02 believers. That’s a good point. But
01:47:07 go ahead. The light of Christ is given
01:47:09 to everybody. But having it written on
01:47:11 your heart is more getting it refined
01:47:14 and that that you desire it and you want
01:47:17 it. Not this that it’s just there in
01:47:20 you. Okay, right. No, that makes sense.
01:47:24 So, yeah. Anyways, that that’s probably
01:47:28 No, that’s good. Um, John verse 28.
01:47:32 We’re starting to hit a crescendo here
01:47:34 with these verses coming up. So, go
01:47:37 ahead. Hast thou not known? Oh, sorry.
01:47:40 Go ahead. Hast thou not known? Hast thou
01:47:43 not heard that the everlasting Elohim,
01:47:48 Yahwa, the creator of the ends of the
01:47:51 earth, faintth not, neither is weary.
01:47:56 There is
01:47:58 no searching of his understanding. This
01:48:01 is a terrible
01:48:04 Well, let’s that the end of that verse
01:48:06 is a terrible translation. Well, could
01:48:08 we look at the Bible hub for this that
01:48:10 we looked at the other day? Yeah. Yeah,
01:48:13 let’s go get that because yes, that is a
01:48:16 horrible translation.
01:48:18 And I want to I want that brought out
01:48:20 that it it basically is meaning the
01:48:24 opposite or
01:48:26 not that it’s uncarchable, but that
01:48:28 nobody searches it.
01:48:32 Well, um well, I think it’s more like so
01:48:36 here here it is not uncarchable.
01:48:40 There. There’s the Hebrew, right? Uh I’m
01:48:44 trying to get just that part. I’m having
01:48:46 a hard time. But anyways, here it is.
01:48:50 Is not uncarchable right there in the
01:48:53 inlinear. So, it’s the exact opposite of
01:48:56 what that verse is saying in the King
01:48:59 James.
01:49:01 Yeah. So, go back to the King James real
01:49:04 quick. Go back to the King James real
01:49:05 quick. Yeah. I’m going and
01:49:11 his understanding is not uncarchable is
01:49:14 what it should come out to be. Yeah.
01:49:18 There is searching his
01:49:23 understanding. Drop the no. There is
01:49:28 searching of his understanding or it is
01:49:31 well in the Hebrew it’s a double
01:49:34 negative. So, right.
01:49:36 Um, yeah.
01:49:39 But anyways, um, I get that even uh, in
01:49:43 English we some don’t really like double
01:49:46 negatives. You could have still put the
01:49:48 right meaning here. That’s true. Yeah.
01:49:51 So, this is basically this knowledge is
01:49:54 searchable, but we read from a in a one
01:49:58 of the epistles of Paul that it remains
01:50:01 uncarched.
01:50:03 Right? That’s because people just aren’t
01:50:06 doing it, although they should be. And
01:50:09 it is a commandment to search it. So,
01:50:12 yeah. Well, because here’s the thing
01:50:14 that so many people don’t seem to
01:50:17 realize. To search his understanding is
01:50:20 to
01:50:21 search the scriptures.
01:50:24 Yep.
01:50:27 It’s that simple.
01:50:29 So, if there’s no searching is
01:50:30 understanding, what’s the point of even
01:50:32 picking up the book in the first place?
01:50:36 You know what I’m saying? No, I think
01:50:38 that’s it’s kind of silly. There’s just
01:50:41 people like checklists. Sorry. Yeah.
01:50:44 Well, I do think that um regardless of
01:50:48 the reasons for the individual
01:50:50 translator doing what he did, I do
01:50:52 believe that was one of the motivations
01:50:54 for the people who funded the
01:50:55 translation process that people not
01:51:00 really search the scriptures. Yeah,
01:51:03 that’s true. Yeah, they were highly
01:51:05 motivated to not let people read.
01:51:09 No, not I’m not talking about reading.
01:51:11 I’m talking about searching.
01:51:13 Well, you can’t if you can’t if you’re
01:51:16 not even reading, you’re not searching.
01:51:18 Period. Right. But they didn’t even
01:51:20 teach the people to read. Well, they
01:51:22 didn’t even want people to read it in
01:51:24 the first place. And it addition to
01:51:27 searching it. So, yeah.
01:51:30 Like, if you can’t even read, you can’t
01:51:33 there’s no way in heck you’re there was
01:51:35 no real education. There was no you you
01:51:39 and the where there’s no real education,
01:51:42 people
01:51:43 cannot people lose what it means to
01:51:46 search. Yeah. And
01:51:49 and yeah,
01:51:53 they put the word in the hands of the
01:51:57 normal human. Much as people no longer
01:52:00 know how to search because of the uh
01:52:03 because we don’t have real education
01:52:05 now.
01:52:06 Yeah. And and the uh
01:52:11 uh general consensus machines, people
01:52:13 like to go to those. I I I mean AI or
01:52:16 ChatG or other various additions of
01:52:21 that. They’re just consensious machines.
01:52:24 They only they give you the consensus of
01:52:27 what they’re fed. It does not know how
01:52:29 to reason.
01:52:33 But this is going to take over the
01:52:34 world. Um, oh yeah, let’s not go off on
01:52:37 that. As I I’m dissing it a little bit.
01:52:40 I use it occasionally, but I sometimes
01:52:43 when I use it, I can definitely tell it
01:52:46 does not understand some simple things.
01:52:49 So, but it’s not going to take over the
01:52:51 world. It’s not the mark of the beast.
01:52:54 Yeah, it’s not the the mark of the beast
01:52:56 is denying his
01:52:58 law and and also Yeshua himself which if
01:53:02 you go look at symbolic means between
01:53:04 behind 600 60 and six that’s what you
01:53:09 get. Yeah. It’s just another way of
01:53:12 saying denying the Holy Spirit or mark
01:53:15 of the beast or or mark as Kane got.
01:53:18 It’s not nothing new. Kane got the mark.
01:53:21 Yeah. Yeah.
01:53:22 It’s why the righteous people wanted to
01:53:25 stay away from Cain is because of the
01:53:27 mark that he had, his actions, his his
01:53:31 unholy behavior. I I just Anyways,
01:53:35 sorry. It’s all good. Let’s uh go on.
01:53:38 Stephen number 29.
01:53:41 He giveth power to the faint, and to
01:53:44 them that have no might, he increases
01:53:46 strength. So, this is going off of how
01:53:50 Yahweh
01:53:52 uh helps those who seek to keep his
01:53:57 ways.
01:53:58 Yes. And he helps them when they have
01:54:03 reached the end of their own resources.
01:54:06 Right. In fact, in the DNC, it talks
01:54:09 about um if you’re doing your duty
01:54:14 um you won’t be tired. That’s not a
01:54:17 great quote. Let me let me get that. Let
01:54:20 me get that section. Uh, do covenant
01:54:22 section 84. Okay.
01:54:26 Ben would know that one better than I
01:54:30 would. It being his favorite section in
01:54:32 the doctrine in Oh, yeah. Um, he said 88
01:54:36 was, but I’m
01:54:38 84. So 84 is is very good. All right.
01:54:42 Starting in verse 33 se Doctrine of
01:54:45 Covenant section 84 verse
01:54:49 33. For who so is faithful
01:54:53 as in
01:54:55 um believes or trusts and are diligent
01:55:00 or as in does. For whoso is faithful
01:55:04 unto obtaining these two priesthoods of
01:55:06 which I have spoken, or in other words,
01:55:08 who so is so whoso is faithful unto unto
01:55:12 the point where Yahweh gives them these
01:55:15 two priesthoods
01:55:18 of which I have spoken and the
01:55:20 magnifying of their calling, i.e. doing
01:55:25 your job
01:55:26 [Music]
01:55:28 are sanctified by the spirit unto the
01:55:31 renewing of their bodies. Okay, so that
01:55:34 was a bad paraphrase, but that renewing
01:55:36 is having strength and
01:55:39 specifically when you need it, right?
01:55:41 So, and they become the sons of Moses
01:55:45 and of Aaron and the seed of
01:55:48 Abraham and the church and kingdom and
01:55:51 the elect of God.
01:55:55 But you have to be faithful. Now in and
01:55:58 in order under the obtaining of these
01:56:01 two priesthoods, this the Melkisedc
01:56:05 priesthood is only given to those who
01:56:08 are sanctified.
01:56:09 [Music]
01:56:11 So this is actually another way of
01:56:13 saying those who are
01:56:16 justified and can thus and sanctified
01:56:19 and can thus receive the ironic
01:56:21 priesthood. them sanctified and can thus
01:56:25 receive the MelkiseDC priesthood and
01:56:28 they magnify their callings making them
01:56:31 larger than making their responsibility
01:56:34 to their brothers and sisters larger
01:56:36 than their responsibility to
01:56:40 themselves are
01:56:43 sanctified by the holy by the
01:56:46 spirit by
01:56:49 Torah under the renewing of their
01:56:51 bodies.
01:56:52 The power of
01:56:54 renewal is in
01:56:58 Torah and most especially through Yeshua
01:57:02 is in Torah through Yeshua.
01:57:08 Yeah. Yes. Well said.
01:57:12 All right. So, going back.
01:57:15 All right. So, we’re at the home stretch
01:57:18 here. Verse 30. Bam. I think Zach’s
01:57:20 back. if you want to let him. Oh, Zack.
01:57:22 Well, well, it would be Ben and then
01:57:24 Zach. Ben, read. We have Zach read and
01:57:28 then you read your favorite verse. Oh,
01:57:30 okay. All right, Zach. Go ahead.
01:57:33 Even the youth youths shall faint and be
01:57:37 weary, and young men shall utterly fall.
01:57:41 Oh, he’s using the example of the young
01:57:46 who endless energy folks. Yeah. Any
01:57:49 anybody that’s had kids know they don’t
01:57:51 run out of energy even when it’s
01:57:53 bedtime. Yeah. Oh, good gosh.
01:57:57 Yeah. But they all fail. Any anyone
01:58:01 who’s ever been on a camp out with young
01:58:03 men or young single adults knows that
01:58:06 young men and young or male young single
01:58:09 adults never go to sleep.
01:58:15 I think they have that has more to do
01:58:16 with the fear. Uh but uh there’s a great
01:58:19 deal of fear. But anyway,
01:58:21 um because they’re not used to being
01:58:24 outside. Uh we were sleeping outside.
01:58:26 Anyway, I’m not I was thinking of a
01:58:29 different kind of fear. Well, that too.
01:58:32 When I went out camping, we were
01:58:33 pranksters. Yeah. So, yeah.
01:58:36 Yeah. Something about winter camping and
01:58:39 a hand in warm water. Oh my.
01:58:43 Yep. Yep. So, but even so, he’s saying
01:58:47 that all of these people who have
01:58:49 boundless energy all on their own, they
01:58:53 shall fail. Their energy shall fail.
01:58:57 They shall be weary. They shall be
01:59:00 faint.
01:59:02 In other
01:59:04 words, of your own
01:59:07 strength, you don’t have enough. That is
01:59:10 correct. Mhm.
01:59:12 But amen, they that wait upon the Lord
01:59:17 shall renew their strength. They shall
01:59:20 mount up with wings as eagles. They
01:59:24 shall run and not be weary, and they
01:59:26 shall walk and not faint. So they
01:59:32 that have faith. Okay, that’s um waiting
01:59:37 in this contest is going to be trust,
01:59:40 right? Yes. Trust in the Lord, right?
01:59:44 They shall renew their strength. Meaning
01:59:48 they
01:59:49 will be restored to their
01:59:52 original strength, right?
01:59:57 inside of them. Correct. Yahweh’s
02:00:00 already given us us the strength, but
02:00:02 because of our sins, we grow weak. But
02:00:04 here, when we come into him and repent,
02:00:08 those consequences will be taken away.
02:00:11 Um, and that’s the renewing because you
02:00:15 can’t renew something you didn’t already
02:00:17 have. So, may I read another uh
02:00:20 scripture from the Doctrine of Covenants
02:00:22 that actually says roughly the same
02:00:24 thing? Sure.
02:00:26 Doct Covenants section 89 verses 18
02:00:31 through 21. Let him get there first.
02:00:37 And all saints the saints of the
02:00:41 sanctified. And all saints. What are
02:00:44 you? That’s just like what? No, I’m just
02:00:46 kidding. I believe that. I’m just trying
02:00:49 to bring out how if you really think
02:00:51 about it, that makes sense, right? Yep.
02:00:55 word and all saints who remember to keep
02:00:58 and do these sayings. Okay? And this is
02:01:01 at the tail end of the word of wisdom,
02:01:03 which is not a commandment, but is
02:01:05 wisdom in how we take care of our
02:01:06 bodies, right? And this would be another
02:01:09 recording, but it’s not quite what a lot
02:01:12 of people claim it is. And we’ll just
02:01:13 leave it at that. And all saints to
02:01:15 remember to keep and do these
02:01:18 sayings, and then there’s a comma,
02:01:21 walking in obedience to the
02:01:22 commandments. So, it’s not just doing
02:01:24 the word of wisdom. It’s also walking in
02:01:26 obedience to Torah.
02:01:30 Shall receive health in their navl and
02:01:34 marrow to their bones, and shall find
02:01:37 wisdom and great treasures of knowledge,
02:01:40 even hidden treasures, and shall run and
02:01:43 not be weary, and shall walk and not
02:01:45 faint.
02:01:47 And I
02:01:49 Yoha give unto them a
02:01:51 promise that the destroying angels shall
02:01:54 pass by them as the children of is of
02:01:56 Yeshu and not slay them. Amen. And when
02:02:01 Ya gives that
02:02:04 promise, it’s really something because
02:02:09 he was the destroying angel.
02:02:15 Yeah. And with what’s coming, I do think
02:02:17 this is a reference to second coming
02:02:20 events cuz uh there going to be a lot of
02:02:24 destruction going on. So Oh, for sure.
02:02:27 For sure. And though so just
02:02:30 remember all saints who remember to keep
02:02:33 and do what the word of wisdom actually
02:02:36 says. What also walking in obedience to
02:02:40 the
02:02:41 commandments shall receive these things.
02:02:44 Yeah.
02:02:48 All right, back to 18. Back to 40. Um,
02:02:53 and let’s see here. Mount up. We just
02:02:56 got that one. And they shall mount out
02:02:58 with wings as eagles. Yep. And you want
02:03:02 to say something on that or do you want
02:03:04 me to say something? Well, as we were
02:03:06 talking about the other day, like eagles
02:03:08 are the most are like the biggest most
02:03:13 majestic birds that there are. Okay.
02:03:19 Um,
02:03:22 um, was there anything else that you
02:03:24 want? So, wings. Wings are power. Yes.
02:03:29 So, this is showing that you’re gonna
02:03:31 have power over your enemies. Yeah.
02:03:36 um which is a promise that Yahweh gives
02:03:39 in Deuteronomy 28:29 if you keep his
02:03:42 commandments or it’s going back to the
02:03:45 same promises that were
02:03:49 issued from the beginning. Yeah.
02:03:51 Essentially. Yep.
02:03:56 Um, and it’s it’s said different ways in
02:04:00 different places, but basically you’ll
02:04:02 be the head is instead of tail is
02:04:05 another way to put it, right? Yeah,
02:04:08 absolutely. There’s a lot of different
02:04:09 ways to put it. But anyways, but
02:04:13 bringing out how also you’ll be
02:04:15 messengers because birds are messengers
02:04:18 or angels. Um, yes. So you’ll
02:04:24 you won’t have to worry about your
02:04:25 enemies. You go out and cry repentance
02:04:27 to others. So, yep. I think it’s also
02:04:31 interesting the image of the cherubam
02:04:34 with great
02:04:36 wings that covered the gate like in the
02:04:38 book of Revelation where it talks about
02:04:40 the great wings that covered the temple
02:04:41 and the
02:04:43 uh uh and the altar.
02:04:47 And uh there’s just a whole bunch of
02:04:50 imagery with wings and servants and the
02:04:54 power that uh that it
02:04:57 symbolizes. Um there’s there’s so much
02:05:00 in Oh yeah. Uh book of revelations is
02:05:02 very it it’s well it will be an event.
02:05:07 It’s coming but it’s written with a lot
02:05:10 of symbolism. Yes. Correct.
02:05:14 Yeah, we shall run.
02:05:19 So, uh with this being about the second
02:05:22 coming uh this chapter, it is
02:05:24 interesting and I think telling that
02:05:26 they’re saying
02:05:28 run because uh the mighty strong one and
02:05:33 the other servants
02:05:35 um will have very little time to get
02:05:38 done what they need to get done as in
02:05:40 they have to hurry or run.
02:05:43 Yeah.
02:05:45 And then and they shall walk and not
02:05:48 faint. And the walk has to do with our
02:05:51 with uh the path that we’re on, i.e.
02:05:55 Torah. Yeah. And
02:05:59 that Yeah. Um
02:06:02 we Yeah. So faint has to be being uh
02:06:07 like sick, right? And if you keep Torah,
02:06:10 you’re kept from sicknesses. So because
02:06:14 it’s a renewing of your strength and
02:06:16 your your physical body as we’ve gone
02:06:20 over. Yeah. So that’s true.
02:06:23 So
02:06:25 um I I hope you guys have enjoyed this.
02:06:30 I do want to express my appreciation to
02:06:35 um Yah Yahweh and uh
02:06:39 yeah to Yeshua for his sacrifice for us
02:06:43 and because of him we can be stronger. I
02:06:47 I can tell you right now this last week
02:06:50 I felt
02:06:53 um comforted for sure u by his presence
02:06:58 um when I I was willing to
02:07:02 um listen to the prompting that I was
02:07:04 that I had
02:07:05 received and I I know that he can do the
02:07:11 same for each and every one of you
02:07:13 watching this.
02:07:16 Um, I also know that Torah is the
02:07:22 is the path is the straight path that we
02:07:26 should be walking. Um, and by doing that
02:07:30 we will have the strength to continue
02:07:33 on. He will renew our strength. He will
02:07:37 give us um the ability to do the things
02:07:41 that he wants us to do.
02:07:43 And um I I’m I’m very grateful for this
02:07:48 experience and it it’s
02:07:51 um yeah I I I yeah please if you
02:07:59 could take the time study his word study
02:08:04 Torah live
02:08:06 Torah that is where life is. That is
02:08:11 where you will be able to find eternal
02:08:14 life and the words of life.
02:08:17 Um, follow his law, obey his
02:08:22 commandments, learn who he is. In so
02:08:26 doing, you will be able to have um
02:08:29 you’ll be able to come become like
02:08:31 him. And uh I I say these things in the
02:08:35 name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Amen.
