Summary:

Showing the reason why Yeshua said “why hast Thou forsaken Me”, is because He took our sins upon Him and went through a spiritual death. Talk about the calendar in relation to when Yeshua died and the connections to Law of Moses and the Passover Lamb. Matthew was originally written in Hebrew. Day of Atonement and Red Heifer ordinances goes over Yeshua’s last hours point by point. The wicked will burn everything down just so they can be in control. The Restoration explicitly brings out Yeshua bleeding from every pore and suffered twice where the ordinances from YHWH imply that. Unveiling SJR 1 Peter 2:24 and SJR 2 Corinthians 5:21 translations. Hanging people is not a pagan tradition but is specified in Torah and is done in the Book of Mormon. Isaiah 53 is about Yeshua not the Mighty and Strong One or Israel. The Mighty and Strong One will be married by reputation and not physically. Yeshua accepts us into His kingdom after we come to Him with a broken heart and contrite spirit and only after that are we rewarded for our works. When we sin we can feel YHWH leave us, and when we repent you can feel Him give you joy and peace. Scapegoat or Azazel means to enterally remove. Only Yeshua can bear our sins upon Him, showing that the scapegoat or Azazel represents Yeshua and not Satan. Yeshua is being represented by goats in the Day of Atonement ordinance because He took our sins upon Himself. Orthodox Jews add many traditions of men to the written Torah from YHWH which we are commanded not to do. Animal sacrifice will be restored during the Second Coming events. We are to office a sacrifice by fire. We are also to afflict our souls, done by fasting and repenting, which is to point us to what Yeshua did for us during the atonement. The tenth day of the moonth brings out how Yeshua was selected before the foundation of the world. Fasting is to bring about righteousness just as Yeshua’s atonement does. Trees and thus wood represents people show YHWH’s work, which we are to help Him with, is to purify people. Starting the fast the evening before 10th just as Yeshua affliction of soul happened after a dinner. If you don’t fast during Day of Atonement you are cut off from YHWH and will not be able to receive more than Telestial glory. Working on the sabbath is a sin worthy of capital punishment. Day of Atonement is telling you start a fire on the sabbath. You are also allowed to cook food on the sabbath. If the day starts at even, which it doesn’t, you would have to fast two days. Yeshua bleed twice for us, which goes along why there are two goats for the Day of Atonement, and two daily lambs for the punishment known as the Law of Moses which is not to be done anymore, and the Red Heifer how the alter had to be cleansed with blood before anything could be put on the alter. The Red Heifer is to be killed after the temple is done because you need the blood on the finished temple. Taking the bitter cup of bitter wine for the sacrament points us back to Yeshua’s bitter cup of the atonement.

00:00:00 it might help.
00:00:02 Okay. So, today we’re going to do uh a
00:00:05 recording on Day of Atonement. Um, I’m
00:00:09 going to focus on doing something a
00:00:11 little different than we did last year
00:00:13 because last year we read Leviticus 16
00:00:17 and some other scriptures just uh
00:00:21 stanzas by stanzas as in because going
00:00:23 off of Hebrew poetry and then talked
00:00:25 about some um
00:00:28 and while that’s lovely, sometimes a
00:00:31 change of pace is a good thing.
00:00:32 Yes, that’s what I was thinking. And I
00:00:34 thought also in doing this maybe we
00:00:37 could uh maybe focus on some uh
00:00:40 different things that otherwise maybe we
00:00:42 wouldn’t have. Okay.
00:00:44 So uh but al although this is not
00:00:48 directly day of atonement scriptures I
00:00:50 thought I’d start with some an insight
00:00:52 that y’all way gave me recently. Okay.
00:00:56 Um are are these uh large enough to to
00:01:00 read here? Um,
00:01:03 yeah, I can I can read them. Yes.
00:01:05 Yeah.
00:01:06 Okay. Uh, uh, speaking since you can
00:01:08 read them, you want to read uh, this
00:01:11 first one. Matthew 27:46.
00:01:14 Yes. Um, Matthew 27:46.
00:01:20 And about the ninth hour, Yeshua cried
00:01:22 with a loud voice, saying,
00:01:29 that is to say, my God, my God, why hast
00:01:34 thou forsaken me?
00:01:37 Okay. Now, um John, you want to read
00:01:40 Mark 15:34, which is almost a exact
00:01:44 duplicate.
00:01:46 Yeah.
00:01:48 And at the ninth hour, Yeshua cried with
00:01:51 a loud voice, saying, Elo,
00:01:56 which is being interpreted,
00:01:59 my Elohim, my Elohim, why hast thou
00:02:02 forsaken me? Okay, so there’s a couple
00:02:05 things to bring out here. Okay. Uh, so
00:02:08 the 9inth hour back at that time, does
00:02:12 anybody know when that was?
00:02:15 just beginning dark
00:02:17 between the evenings.
00:02:18 Yeah,
00:02:19 it’s Yeah, I was going to say that would
00:02:22 be between the evenings, right?
00:02:24 Correct. Uh and because although today
00:02:28 uh we start the day uh give or take at
00:02:31 6:00 a.m. back then they started at
00:02:34 zero.
00:02:36 Technically, according to the Gregorian
00:02:39 calendar, it starts at midnight.
00:02:44 Oh, okay. Um,
00:02:46 yes, I agree with that. I was talking
00:02:48 about more when we wake up. So, maybe I
00:02:50 was
00:02:51 Oh. Oh, yeah. Yeah.
00:02:52 With the rising of the sun.
00:02:54 Yeah. Yeah. So, I I I was not clear
00:02:56 enough. That’s my bad there. Uh, it was
00:02:58 in my head. Does that count?
00:03:01 Oh, sure. Why not?
00:03:04 We’ll give credit for it for now.
00:03:06 Uh, so we start our day when we wake up.
00:03:09 Let me add those few little words there.
00:03:11 um in the Gregorian calendar, right at
00:03:15 at 6:00 a.m. which is around sunrise
00:03:18 time. I mean, there’s some variations
00:03:20 and we’re not going to get into that,
00:03:22 which when you go back to the time when
00:03:25 this was written, that was 0:00
00:03:29 if you woke up that early, okay? Cuz it
00:03:32 goes off the sun dial. And the day
00:03:35 portion or the light portion of the full
00:03:38 day has uh 12 hours and then the night
00:03:42 was in separated into four night
00:03:44 watches. Okay. Um so this ninth hour uh
00:03:49 has to do with as been said between the
00:03:53 evenings
00:03:54 which is three in the afternoon in our
00:04:00 um reckoning right. Mhm.
00:04:04 And so the reason between the evenings
00:04:06 makes a is a big deal is that’s when
00:04:10 um the second um daily lamb from the law
00:04:15 of Moses which was a punishment was
00:04:17 being um slaughtered.
00:04:19 Ah yes yes yes. Okay.
00:04:23 Like between the mornings when judgment
00:04:25 was passed on him.
00:04:28 Correct.
00:04:29 Yeah. So that that’s what’s going on in
00:04:31 the between the mornings is it’s during
00:04:32 judgment. Um and in the evenings one is
00:04:36 when it was enacted. Um
00:04:40 now obviously it was a wrongful uh
00:04:43 judgment because he was sinless and they
00:04:45 said he was sinner anyways.
00:04:47 Right. And that he deserved to die and
00:04:49 yada yada yada.
00:04:50 Right. Right. Um, also another
00:04:53 interesting thing is this is also when
00:04:55 the Passover lamb was to be slain, which
00:04:58 is different than the two daily lambs.
00:05:03 Okay.
00:05:04 Mhm. A
00:05:05 and each
00:05:08 family or household
00:05:11 or possibly combined household depending
00:05:14 on the size going off of the scriptures
00:05:16 on um
00:05:18 on the Passover.
00:05:19 Yep.
00:05:20 uh that was also to be slain at between
00:05:22 the evenings.
00:05:24 Interesting.
00:05:25 So it also goes with the the Passover
00:05:27 lamb. Okay.
00:05:28 Oh, well that’s there’s a lot there.
00:05:30 Okay. Yeah, that’s
00:05:33 Yes. So, we won’t go too much more into
00:05:35 that, but the timing is significant
00:05:38 because it it helps bring out how Yeshua
00:05:43 is what all of this points to. Okay.
00:05:48 Now, this next little section right
00:05:50 here, this is Arabic. I I
00:05:55 Arabic.
00:05:56 Arabic. Thank you. Arabic
00:05:59 or Aramaic.
00:06:01 Okay. Either way, right? It’s the same
00:06:03 way. Same thing, different word. Right.
00:06:06 Now, I do not believe Yeshua spoke
00:06:09 Aramaic. Okay. So, this goes along with
00:06:12 some
00:06:14 history of the text. Okay. There is
00:06:17 Aramaic, Matthew, and Mark. Okay.
00:06:22 Um, and so this was I believe for Did
00:06:27 someone say something?
00:06:28 There’s also a statement from the u from
00:06:31 the Christian fathers that states that
00:06:34 uh the book that the gospel of Matthew
00:06:36 was first written in Hebrew and then
00:06:38 translated into their various tongues.
00:06:41 Oh, I’ll have to get that from you. I
00:06:42 that’s actually what I do believe uh for
00:06:44 various reasons, but I’ll have to get
00:06:46 that.
00:06:46 You’d have to get You’d have to get the
00:06:48 quote from from Nhemia Nhemia Gordon.
00:06:51 Oh, okay. All right. Uh I won’t email
00:06:54 him. I’ll just maybe I’ll search it.
00:06:56 Anyways, uh
00:06:58 plagiarize it.
00:06:59 Uh he’s done a lot of work on the Hebrew
00:07:01 Matthew, so I’m not surprised he would
00:07:03 know that. So
00:07:05 interesting.
00:07:06 So this is getting into an issue. It’s a
00:07:09 translation of a translation. So, the
00:07:11 Greek actually came from the Aramaic and
00:07:13 the Aramaic came from the Hebrew. And I
00:07:17 don’t know why the translator did this
00:07:19 because they don’t normally do this, but
00:07:21 maybe they thought it was more important
00:07:22 and so they were being a little more
00:07:24 careful.
00:07:25 Yeah, maybe
00:07:26 I do. Yeah, it’s it’s interesting that
00:07:28 instead of just straight transcribing it
00:07:30 from the Hebrew in this one instance,
00:07:33 they first I I wonder
00:07:38 Nahhemia Gordon thinks that they that it
00:07:41 was simply a matter that they couldn’t
00:07:44 uh they couldn’t get the Hebrew to the
00:07:47 Greek and so they just gave up on the
00:07:49 Hebrew and went to the Aramaic.
00:07:52 Oh, okay. Okay. So,
00:07:56 all right. So, there’s various theories
00:07:57 it sounds like. But, um, to me, it’s a
00:08:00 little weird why they didn’t just
00:08:01 translate it, but they, you know, put
00:08:04 the Aramaic and then the translation. I
00:08:06 wonder if it’s because they thought it
00:08:08 was more sacred and they’re being a
00:08:10 little more careful.
00:08:12 I don’t know. But,
00:08:15 uh, this is actually quoting Psalms 22,
00:08:19 uh, which is a prophecy of Yeshua and
00:08:22 the cross. Okay.
00:08:24 But the part I want to focus on
00:08:26 primarily is, “Oh Elohim, I mean my
00:08:30 Elohim, my Elohim, why hast thou
00:08:32 forsaken me?” Okay.
00:08:35 Yeah.
00:08:36 And um because
00:08:41 the day of atonement is about the
00:08:44 atonement that Yeshua performed for us.
00:08:47 And I’ll put the link to the last
00:08:49 recording. Uh, but the ceremony for the
00:08:54 Day of Atonement
00:08:57 goes through Yeshua’s last hours point
00:09:01 by point and it and you can point every
00:09:04 part to it to history that actually
00:09:06 happened. Okay.
00:09:07 Yeah.
00:09:08 it. Uh yeah, it’s uh yeah, there’s
00:09:12 multiple ceremonies pointing to various
00:09:15 um aspects of the day.
00:09:18 Correct. Um including the Passover
00:09:22 um and the red hepher because they all
00:09:24 play into that. Okay.
00:09:27 Interesting.
00:09:28 So, but um I I I do want to talk about a
00:09:32 little bit why he said this, okay?
00:09:34 because this is the insight that Yahweh
00:09:36 gave me a little bit and to uh start off
00:09:40 with um
00:09:43 it’s in Roman. Okay. Here here’s the one
00:09:45 I want and I’m sure Ben will like this
00:09:47 one. So well are you willing to read
00:09:49 Romans 6:23, Ben?
00:09:51 Okay.
00:09:54 Yes, I am.
00:09:56 It’s just it’s a little too small for
00:09:58 him, so he’s going to pull it up on his
00:10:00 phone.
00:10:01 Oh, okay. All right.
00:10:03 Uh
00:10:05 especially if it’s not a re-transation
00:10:07 or something.
00:10:08 It’s because I’m further away from the
00:10:10 screen.
00:10:11 No, no, that’s fine.
00:10:13 But for the wages of sin is death.
00:10:17 But but the gift of Elohim is eternal
00:10:20 life through Yeshua Hamashiach.
00:10:26 Actually, I think that one’s Yahweh. But
00:10:28 either way, um it’s not a big deal
00:10:30 either way, right?
00:10:32 Um yes. So there’s this issue
00:10:37 that when we sin
00:10:41 we die and we will die physically and
00:10:46 spiritually. Okay.
00:10:47 Mhm.
00:10:48 So
00:10:51 I I I mean I already know the answer but
00:10:54 um when we spiritually die we get
00:10:58 separated from Yeshua. Right.
00:11:02 Right.
00:11:03 Now let’s go look at this uh maybe some
00:11:06 other verses. Uh let’s go see if I can
00:11:09 find a favorite because there’s a lot
00:11:11 that kind of bring out the idea that
00:11:13 Yeshua died for us. Okay. Uh there’s
00:11:18 quite a few for that. Um like John 3:16,
00:11:22 right?
00:11:23 Oh, yeah.
00:11:25 The world that he gave his only begotten
00:11:27 son.
00:11:27 Yeah. Yeah. But then I have 3:17 here.
00:11:30 So you want to do uh John 3:17, John?
00:11:33 Yeah. Sure. For Elohim sent uh sent not
00:11:37 his son into the world to condemn the
00:11:39 world, but that the world through him
00:11:41 might be saved.
00:11:45 Okay. Uh Josh, uh do you see one on here
00:11:50 that uh c catches your fancy real quick?
00:11:56 Well, I like John 10:10, actually.
00:11:59 Okay, read that one then.
00:12:00 All right. The thief cometh not, but for
00:12:03 to steal and to kill and to destroy. Who
00:12:07 do you think he’s talking about there? I
00:12:09 am come that they might have life
00:12:14 and that they might have it more
00:12:18 abundantly.
00:12:21 I love that verse.
00:12:24 Yeah, that’s a very good one. Uh and I
00:12:27 do believe it’s talking about eternal
00:12:29 life in
00:12:30 Yes.
00:12:31 Right.
00:12:32 Yes. which it’s bringing out how Satan
00:12:36 is trying to destroy everything. Um,
00:12:40 and I forget who the quotes from, but
00:12:43 there’s a quote out there along the
00:12:44 lines of wicked people will burn a place
00:12:48 down just so they can be in charge of
00:12:50 it.
00:12:51 Yeah.
00:12:52 Yeah. Well, and that’s
00:12:54 that’s witnessing that now.
00:12:57 Yeah. But that’s also that but that’s
00:12:59 also largely what happened with um the
00:13:04 truth with the truth that Yeshua
00:13:06 restored and with the truth that Joseph
00:13:08 Smith restored is the wicked burned the
00:13:10 barn down so that they could rule it.
00:13:13 Uh yes as in going with the the last
00:13:17 dream prophecy from Joseph Smith.
00:13:19 Yes. Yes.
00:13:21 I will agree with that also. And they
00:13:22 were fighting over who will be in charge
00:13:24 even at the end of it. remember.
00:13:26 Yes.
00:13:27 Yeah.
00:13:28 Yes. So,
00:13:30 ridiculous.
00:13:31 Yes. Yes.
00:13:32 Absolutely ridiculous that people that
00:13:34 we do these things.
00:13:36 Yes, it is. So, I I’m going to I have
00:13:39 some three favorites here. I’ll have you
00:13:41 guys taking turns reading. Um
00:13:44 Ben, can you read Matthew 26:38?
00:13:48 Okay.
00:13:50 Let’s see. Matthew 26:38.
00:13:58 Then saith he unto them, “My soul is
00:14:00 exceeding sorrowful, even unto death.
00:14:03 Tear ye here and watch with me.”
00:14:06 So for those who don’t know the context,
00:14:09 that’s why he’s in the garden after
00:14:13 uh the last supper that they have, which
00:14:16 was not a Passover
00:14:18 before and before sunrise, which means
00:14:20 it could not have been Passover.
00:14:22 Correct. Um because the day starts at
00:14:26 sunrise,
00:14:27 right? And you’re supposed to stay
00:14:30 within your dwelling
00:14:32 until
00:14:34 if he had been outside of his dwelling
00:14:36 before sunrise,
00:14:38 he was a sinner.
00:14:39 Have broken the law and not be fit to be
00:14:42 our atonement.
00:14:44 Sure. If it was during Passover.
00:14:45 Correct.
00:14:46 Right. Yes.
00:14:47 Which I I it’s probably assumed. I just
00:14:49 want to make sure it’s clear. Right.
00:14:51 Yeah. Okay. Um Josh, we read Luke 22:44.
00:14:58 Sure. And being in an agony, he prayed
00:15:03 more earnestly,
00:15:06 and his sweat was as it were great drops
00:15:08 of blood falling down to the ground.
00:15:13 So, this one’s uh very telling. it. So,
00:15:17 there’s medical research that shows what
00:15:19 would make someone sweat drops of blood
00:15:23 is uh a lot of stress and pain and
00:15:26 perhaps agony.
00:15:30 What is just
00:15:31 and being in an agony he prayed more
00:15:35 earnestly.
00:15:38 Well, you know, it’s really interesting
00:15:40 that a lot of um
00:15:42 that a lot of places where they have
00:15:44 reported that particular thing is like
00:15:47 um
00:15:49 in uh mental hospitals and uh drug rehab
00:15:53 facilities.
00:15:56 Um and the and you know even though the
00:16:00 psychologists tell us that the drugs are
00:16:02 not um
00:16:05 physically addictive the absence of them
00:16:10 causes that kind of agony that can cause
00:16:13 people to bleed.
00:16:14 Oh okay. I didn’t know that.
00:16:18 Because of the stress of going through
00:16:19 withdrawal.
00:16:20 Because of the stress of the withdrawal.
00:16:22 Yeah.
00:16:23 Yeah. And uh you know it’s uh yeah uh
00:16:28 your psychologists lie to you on a
00:16:31 regular basis.
00:16:32 Uh yes. So uh John, are you willing to
00:16:35 read Mark 8:31?
00:16:37 I am. And he began to teach them that
00:16:40 the son of man must suffer many things
00:16:42 and be rejected of the elders and of the
00:16:44 chief priests and scribes and be killed
00:16:47 and after three days rise again. So
00:16:50 there’s a couple things here I would
00:16:51 like to focus on. suffer many things and
00:16:55 that’s different than the rejection of
00:16:57 the uh leaders. Okay.
00:16:59 Right.
00:17:00 And then
00:17:02 be killed.
00:17:04 Yep.
00:17:05 And then
00:17:06 rise again
00:17:08 after three days.
00:17:09 Three days. Okay. So, um so
00:17:13 three inclusive days, right?
00:17:15 Yes, it is three inclusive days. Yes.
00:17:18 Um, but there’s a little timing here I
00:17:20 just want to bring out real quick. Is
00:17:23 he suffered many things like in the
00:17:25 garden.
00:17:26 Yeah.
00:17:26 And theners rejected him as in
00:17:29 specifically judged him and rejected him
00:17:32 at a judgment. Okay.
00:17:34 Then had him killed
00:17:36 and then had him killed and then three
00:17:38 days rised. So, I do I I will say I
00:17:42 think it’s safe to say this is talking
00:17:44 about um part of the atonement in the
00:17:48 garden right there. Suffer many things.
00:17:51 [Music]
00:17:53 He he bled from
00:17:56 He bled twice. Okay. In the garden and
00:18:00 at the cross. Okay. One of the one of
00:18:03 the things that I fail to understand
00:18:06 every time somebody brings it up is
00:18:12 how you can look at what happened in the
00:18:15 garden and not say that it’s part of the
00:18:17 atonement
00:18:19 and say that it’s not part of the
00:18:21 atonement.
00:18:22 Um I I I can think of why some people
00:18:26 who don’t like the restoration say it
00:18:28 because the restoration kind of
00:18:30 explicitly brings it out.
00:18:32 Yeah.
00:18:33 And so we can’t they can’t have that,
00:18:36 right? They can’t they can’t
00:18:38 No, because then they could not do as
00:18:39 they cannot they cannot be seen to
00:18:41 validate that which um
00:18:43 they have devalidated
00:18:45 which they have invalidated
00:18:46 or invalid.
00:18:47 Right. which if I remember correctly
00:18:49 that’s DNC19
00:18:51 if I remember correctly.
00:18:53 Yeah.
00:18:54 Um did you want to say something Josh?
00:18:57 Uh no no I’m good. I’m good.
00:18:59 Okay. All right. So let’s keep those in
00:19:01 mind. Uh we could look at others but um
00:19:04 that’s probably good on that. I do want
00:19:06 to look at some that I’ve done my own
00:19:08 translations on. I I I know that sounds
00:19:11 conceited but there’s I I do I I very
00:19:15 careful when I do it. Okay. And I I show
00:19:19 the work and it goes back to the words
00:19:22 the in this case these two would be the
00:19:24 Greek words. Okay. And their
00:19:26 definitions.
00:19:28 But I I will read SG 1 Peter 2:24.
00:19:33 Yeah. who his Yeshua’s own self bore or
00:19:38 I know it says bear but I it’s hard
00:19:41 anyways English uh are
00:19:44 uh the repentance sins okay because he
00:19:48 didn’t bear everybody’s sins and that’s
00:19:50 Isaiah 53 and
00:19:54 second Nephi nine if I remember
00:19:56 correctly um in his own body
00:20:01 on the tree. Okay.
00:20:03 Not a cross, right?
00:20:04 Or the cross. Um though I I I
00:20:09 do believe it was a cross literally, but
00:20:12 there’s a reason they point to the tree
00:20:14 is because of a curse in the law.
00:20:18 Yeah. Cursed is
00:20:20 Oh,
00:20:22 yeah. It’s a capital placement to be
00:20:24 hung. So all these
00:20:26 Okay. all these westerns that have the
00:20:29 hanging with the hangman’s news, there
00:20:31 is some uh scriptural basis for it.
00:20:34 Yeah.
00:20:37 And that goes back to stories within
00:20:39 stories and what have you.
00:20:40 Yeah. Yeah. Now, for those who don’t
00:20:42 think it’s in Torah, because I’ve heard
00:20:44 people claim this is a barbaric pagan
00:20:46 thing. It actually is in Torah and it’s
00:20:49 in the Book of Mormon in third Nephi
00:20:52 early chapters. I’d have to look cuz
00:20:56 uh
00:20:57 But yeah,
00:20:59 but you can probably search hang or hung
00:21:01 or something along those lines to find
00:21:02 it. It’s not too hard. But so it is
00:21:04 actually in Torah and it’s not a pagan
00:21:07 gentile tradition.
00:21:09 I think I know what you’re talking
00:21:11 about. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay.
00:21:12 Yeah. It was after the wars, right?
00:21:16 It was Zeiah was the name of the guy who
00:21:18 got hung.
00:21:20 Okay.
00:21:21 Yeah.
00:21:22 Okay.
00:21:22 Yeah. That that winner. Yeah.
00:21:26 Yeah, total winner.
00:21:27 Well, there might be more than one
00:21:28 instance because it was this the one I’m
00:21:30 thinking of is a general on mass one,
00:21:33 but um I I think your one you’re
00:21:36 thinking of might be early Elma, I
00:21:39 think. Um
00:21:40 uh hanging. No, that’s
00:21:43 Nei.
00:21:44 Okay. Anyways, all right. That’s a side
00:21:46 subject. We don’t need to worry about
00:21:47 that. Um it’s there, believe me.
00:21:52 Yeah. There’s hanging there’s hanging in
00:21:53 the Book of Mormon.
00:21:54 Yeah. Yeah. Okay. But the body on the
00:21:57 tree or the cross that we being, this is
00:22:02 um this could be a little controversial,
00:22:04 but I can support it by the Greek. In
00:22:07 fact, maybe I’ll do that. So, let me get
00:22:09 this. But, and so I’ll go back and
00:22:12 forth. Um being I’ll finish reading and
00:22:15 then we can go look at the Greek words.
00:22:17 Uh being removed
00:22:21 from the now I’m adding this
00:22:23 consequences in and I’m stating that
00:22:25 with the glyphs but the squiggly I’m
00:22:27 saying is actually a word here okay the
00:22:29 Greek word of sins
00:22:33 okay we’re being because of the
00:22:35 atonement we’re removed from the
00:22:37 consequences of our sin if we accept his
00:22:39 atonement okay
00:22:40 right right
00:22:42 there is a condition we have to accept
00:22:44 his atonement
00:22:45 correct and then uh in the king James it
00:22:49 said should live, but I’m changing it to
00:22:52 would live unto righteousness.
00:22:56 So, meaning after you’re justified,
00:22:58 you’re going to start trying to as in
00:23:01 you’re accepted and Yeshua has given the
00:23:03 has covered you with his atonement,
00:23:05 you’re going to start trying to live as
00:23:07 he lived.
00:23:10 Hence, uh that you would would live unto
00:23:13 righteousness, aka keeping Torah. Oh, I
00:23:16 should probably be that.
00:23:21 Uh, by whose stripes? And that’s going
00:23:24 to be Yeshua.
00:23:26 All right.
00:23:28 We were healed
00:23:32 as in the stripes goes back to reference
00:23:35 to Isaiah 53, which talks about the
00:23:38 atonement. Okay.
00:23:39 Yep. Yep. Yep.
00:23:40 So, just in case just in case. Uh,
00:23:45 yeah. Just thinking and there are people
00:23:47 who do say that Isaiah 53 is not about
00:23:50 the savior but about the mighty and
00:23:51 strong one. That is not correct. The
00:23:54 mighty and strong one is not the
00:23:55 suffering servant. The suffering servant
00:23:57 is Yeshua in his first mis in his first
00:24:00 ministry.
00:24:01 Correct. Uh I will also say the Jews um
00:24:05 claim it’s Israel in general, but you
00:24:08 have to be sinless to take upon other
00:24:11 people’s sins. And heavens knows the
00:24:14 congregation of Israel is far from
00:24:16 sinless.
00:24:18 Yeah. Just go read the Old Testament to
00:24:19 talk.
00:24:21 The Bible The Bible says it’s not
00:24:24 right. Um in in addition, uh there are
00:24:30 passages in about the mighty strong one
00:24:33 in the Old Testament that says that he’s
00:24:35 a sinner. Of course, I mean, who isn’t
00:24:37 other than Yeshua? So, it’s like not
00:24:39 that big of a deal, but that would
00:24:41 disqualify him uh for being able to
00:24:46 being the fulfillment of that verse or
00:24:48 that Yes. of Isaiah 53. Correct.
00:24:52 Right. Um and by his stripes. And in
00:24:56 addition, the mighty strong one is
00:24:58 although he’ll be marred, there’s other
00:25:01 verses in Isaiah and the Book of Mormon
00:25:04 that makes it clear that marring is
00:25:06 reputation, not physically. Okay.
00:25:09 Right. Right.
00:25:10 It talks about his visage. That’s the
00:25:13 image of the person.
00:25:15 Yeah. Or aka reputation. Right.
00:25:19 Yes. As we know it today. Yes.
00:25:21 Yes. Um because uh we have to understand
00:25:24 old words that uh you have to go at
00:25:26 least me I have to go use dictionaries
00:25:29 to do too. I don’t know about everybody
00:25:30 else.
00:25:32 Yeah. Yeah. It’s pretty fair bet. Yeah.
00:25:34 Well, the only reason I know the
00:25:36 definitions to some of these words is
00:25:38 because I have looked them up in a
00:25:40 dictionary some use. We’ve all had to
00:25:43 turn to the dictionary
00:25:45 at least once in our lives. at least
00:25:47 once in our life at some point in order
00:25:50 to understand these words.
00:25:52 Correct. So I I’m going to go to the
00:25:54 Greek on the one that I changed from
00:25:57 dead to being removed from. Okay. So I
00:26:00 know I need to share my screen. So let
00:26:02 me work on that.
00:26:07 Okay. Should be interesting.
00:26:08 No, Johnny.
00:26:09 So uh oh, in fact, let’s go get the
00:26:11 inner linear uh just to kind of help out
00:26:14 with that. Okay. So you can see I’m not
00:26:16 pulling any magic tricks here. Oh,
00:26:18 that’s not the inner laner. That’s the
00:26:19 inner liner. Anyways, I’ll fix that
00:26:21 later. Uh, a bore in the body of him,
00:26:24 the tree that having been dead. Okay,
00:26:26 here’s the dead. See, you see uh 581 and
00:26:30 I’ll open
00:26:35 Good night, Josh.
00:26:36 Take care. Um you’ll see here here’s the
00:26:41 straight definition to be away to be
00:26:44 absent to depart. Now uh you’ll see here
00:26:49 and I’m going to do it quick
00:26:52 to do if you go look at the NAS
00:26:55 exhaustive concordance it the
00:26:57 definitions to be away be removed from.
00:27:02 Yeah.
00:27:03 Okay. Uh, I don’t want to go too far
00:27:06 into all of it, but there you go. Be
00:27:08 removed from and um we’ll go look at the
00:27:12 next one I changed, which would be
00:27:14 should live to would live. Um, let’s go
00:27:18 do it from here.
00:27:26 Oh, here. Okay. So, even here they have
00:27:28 might live and I have which is different
00:27:31 than should live. They have might in the
00:27:34 interlinear I put would but
00:27:38 uh you can see though to be alive to
00:27:41 live
00:27:44 uh which in the sentence I believe does
00:27:46 make sense that uh the way I have it is
00:27:50 would live because it’s kind of like
00:27:53 they can be right if they accept the
00:27:57 atonement.
00:27:58 Now the issue Yeah. yourself.
00:28:02 Yeah, I think that I Yeah, I can see I
00:28:06 can see it. I I can see both would or
00:28:09 should being um
00:28:11 being being good. Um because we should
00:28:16 live onto God uh and onto good things.
00:28:20 Um,
00:28:22 but I do like the wood because it kind
00:28:26 of puts it more towards
00:28:30 action.
00:28:32 Yeah. And a a choice. Um, and and I’ll
00:28:36 be honest, uh, I did put would instead
00:28:38 of should because I do believe in the
00:28:40 three degrees of glory that’s all
00:28:42 throughout the Bible.
00:28:43 Yeah. Um, and I there are classification
00:28:48 requirements for each degree.
00:28:51 Yes.
00:28:51 And if you go on the parable of the
00:28:53 swer, which also is an example of this,
00:28:56 the the one that goes along with what uh
00:29:00 restoration people will call the tstral
00:29:03 glory uh is where the
00:29:08 I think it was the crows took the seeds
00:29:11 away. If it wasn’t a crow, it was
00:29:12 another bad bird um from those who
00:29:15 started to believe. And the seed
00:29:17 represents the word. And if it got taken
00:29:19 away, they’re not keeping it. But
00:29:22 they’re still in the kingdom. And that’s
00:29:24 why I put would instead of should.
00:29:27 Yeah.
00:29:28 Um because you can be in the kingdom and
00:29:32 have your seed taken away. Okay. By the
00:29:35 crows that are uh following Satan.
00:29:39 um or which would represent demons.
00:29:41 Okay. Um
00:29:44 but hopefully you do live unto
00:29:46 righteousness so that way you can
00:29:48 receive
00:29:49 uh more glory. And thus once you’re in
00:29:52 the kingdom, you are rewarded for your
00:29:55 works,
00:29:57 not before, after. And the only way to
00:30:00 get into the kingdom is to come under
00:30:03 Yeshua’s covering the atonement. um and
00:30:07 have a desire to repent that only he
00:30:09 knows your heart. Just because you’ve
00:30:12 been baptized and you maybe have you’re
00:30:14 in a church and you fold some man
00:30:16 doesn’t mean you’re going to fool
00:30:18 Yahweh. Okay.
00:30:19 Yeah.
00:30:20 Um all right. So enough with that one.
00:30:24 Let’s go to the next uh translation I
00:30:26 did.
00:30:30 So this next one is uh 2 Corinthians
00:30:34 5:21.
00:30:36 Um I will read it and then we can go
00:30:39 look at it uh briefly. Who Yeshua knew
00:30:42 no sin.
00:30:45 Now I changed for to on behalf of
00:30:49 and then I made from made to cast out or
00:30:52 in other words atoned our sin. Okay.
00:30:57 Which that definitely sounds like what
00:30:58 he did on the cross. Okay.
00:31:01 He took
00:31:04 our sins upon him, right? Is another way
00:31:07 of putting it in. And I changed the word
00:31:10 that into the in order that we those who
00:31:15 are repentant as I have the glyph there
00:31:17 just trying to clarify who we is. Okay.
00:31:20 Uh and I changed might be made would
00:31:23 become and do
00:31:26 the righteousness of Elohim in him.
00:31:29 Yeshua. Okay. So, I’ll read it without
00:31:32 the some of the clarifications. Who knew
00:31:35 no sin on behalf of us cast out our sin
00:31:40 in order that we would become and do the
00:31:45 righteousness of Elohim in him. Okay.
00:31:48 So, let’s go look at
00:31:51 So, that cast out our sin was the first
00:31:53 was the first phrase. For he hath made
00:31:55 him to be sin for us. Mhm.
00:31:57 Uh so it this depends on which
00:32:00 translation. Different translations do
00:32:03 have some of these uh terms a little
00:32:06 different in order. Okay.
00:32:08 Yeah. No, I’m I I’m just trying to
00:32:11 correlate it to to the King James
00:32:13 version that I haven’t brought in.
00:32:15 Uh sure. Sure. Yes. And it is in a
00:32:17 little different order than the King
00:32:18 James order. Yes.
00:32:19 Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Uh so so yeah, I
00:32:23 was Yeah. I’m just trying to correlate
00:32:24 the phrases to with
00:32:26 Yeah. Yeah. So I I will be honest I did
00:32:28 it a little different order than King
00:32:30 James because I was trying to keep a
00:32:32 little closer to what how the inlinear
00:32:35 has the words in in their particular
00:32:37 order. Okay.
00:32:39 Um but so this first one I did is uh
00:32:43 this four I changed it to on behalf of.
00:32:47 So let’s go look at that. That’s Greek
00:32:49 5228.
00:32:53 There you go. On behalf of
00:32:55 Yes. Okay. So, we don’t have to spend
00:32:57 too much time on that one. The next one
00:32:59 I changed was
00:33:04 Oh, it looks
00:33:06 Oh, no. No. It’s the 4160.
00:33:10 So, let’s see.
00:33:13 This one right here. And I changed it to
00:33:17 cast out.
00:33:19 Um,
00:33:21 there you go. There’s one place that’s
00:33:24 cast out. There’s another place that’s
00:33:28 cast out. Okay.
00:33:30 Mhm.
00:33:34 Um, and then the next one I did was the
00:33:38 that which was 2443.
00:33:42 So that’s going to be this one. And I
00:33:45 changed it to an order that. Now, I I
00:33:48 understand that might not be a big
00:33:50 change, but I thought it was a little
00:33:51 more explicit. Okay.
00:33:53 Yeah. And it’s actually one of the top
00:33:56 definitions. So,
00:33:58 yeah, it’s right there in trying to make
00:34:01 a stronger connection that it was
00:34:03 because he performed the atonement
00:34:07 that these other things can happen.
00:34:09 Okay.
00:34:09 Yes.
00:34:11 So on and the last one I changed was
00:34:14 might be made and I made it I translated
00:34:19 to would become and do and that’s uh
00:34:22 1096.
00:34:24 So this one I will be honest I did
00:34:27 combine a couple things together. Okay.
00:34:30 So here’s the become
00:34:33 and be done or do. Okay. And we don’t
00:34:36 even have to go look at some of the
00:34:37 other supporting ones. So there’s not
00:34:39 one exactly how I have it. Uh I did put
00:34:44 kind of brought out multiple aspects of
00:34:46 the word because I do believe the two
00:34:49 aspects of becoming and doing was
00:34:52 appropriate. Um because the atonement
00:34:56 was performed so we could become like
00:34:59 Yeshua and do as he did.
00:35:03 Yeah. which I do which does happen
00:35:08 as we do. Yeah. The becoming happens as
00:35:12 we do.
00:35:14 Uh as we do as he did the becoming
00:35:17 correct I I but I wanted to bring out
00:35:20 both aspects and not just one. So I
00:35:24 combine some stuff together. Okay.
00:35:26 Yep. So, let’s go back uh and look at
00:35:30 what’s going on here with Yeshua on the
00:35:33 cross. So, I think with what we’ve read,
00:35:37 there’s a few more, but I think what
00:35:39 we’ve read, it’s become, I think,
00:35:41 obvious that Yeshua took our sins upon
00:35:45 him, right?
00:35:48 He he covered our sins. Okay?
00:35:52 He he was both the uh he was both the uh
00:35:57 the uh the sin offering goat and the
00:35:59 scapegoat.
00:36:01 Yeah. And also the priest.
00:36:04 Yeah.
00:36:05 As in Hebrews brings out, he was the
00:36:07 mazdc priest that could perform this,
00:36:11 right? Which he performed it upon
00:36:14 himself. Um but part of that was that he
00:36:18 took our sins upon him. Okay?
00:36:21 And as we discussed earlier,
00:36:25 the consequences of sin is death,
00:36:28 including spiritual death. Spiritual
00:36:30 death is the separation of us from the
00:36:34 glory of Elohim.
00:36:37 Therefore,
00:36:39 eli
00:36:45 from the Hebrew.
00:36:46 Well, I think that’s Oh, yeah. Is that
00:36:48 the one at the top? The Hebrew. Okay.
00:36:50 Eli, not Elo.
00:36:53 Not Elo, but Elie. I’m actually
00:36:57 substituting the Hebrew for the uh
00:37:01 Arabic.
00:37:02 Okay. Okay. That Okay.
00:37:04 Which makes it a direct quote of Psalm
00:37:07 22, whereas the Aramaic is a little bit
00:37:10 just a little bit off.
00:37:11 Yeah. Yeah. Well, okay. All right. I I
00:37:13 just I I I don’t have the languages
00:37:15 memorized as well as you do, so Okay. Uh
00:37:18 I have that segment never.
00:37:21 Okay. Okay. All right. Um
00:37:26 which goes along with him taking our
00:37:30 sins upon him. And part of taking our
00:37:34 sins means he needs to go through
00:37:39 what we should have gone through.
00:37:45 Hence the separation
00:37:47 between uh the glory of Elohim
00:37:51 which is why he said why did you forsake
00:37:53 me or why did you leave me?
00:37:57 Yep.
00:37:58 Why did you take your glory away from me
00:38:04 as in King James put it is because you
00:38:07 became sin. Now I I understand what’s
00:38:11 going on there. I don’t particularly
00:38:12 like that translation as you guys just
00:38:15 saw. We
00:38:16 Right. Right. It’s it Yeah. But it it So
00:38:21 the whole thing is is how many of us
00:38:25 when we’re truly repentant
00:38:28 actually recognize that God has
00:38:30 withdrawn himself from us?
00:38:35 I have in the past. I I I could
00:38:37 literally feel it.
00:38:39 Yeah.
00:38:40 At times. And so I I I do know that
00:38:43 happens.
00:38:43 Then when you repent,
00:38:46 you feel the presence upon you
00:38:50 and it is joy.
00:38:52 Yes.
00:38:54 Then you know you’ve been forgiven
00:38:55 because you have the the peace and joy
00:38:58 back. Okay.
00:38:59 Yeah.
00:39:00 Uh so if you’re wondering if you’ve been
00:39:02 for forgiven, that’s one way to know is
00:39:05 did you get the peace? Mhm.
00:39:08 So
00:39:08 that means that your sins have been
00:39:11 transferred onto the scapegoat.
00:39:14 Yeah. Okay. So let’s get into that since
00:39:16 Ben’s bringing that up. Um because
00:39:18 although this is not directly day of
00:39:21 atonement stuff, I did want to share it
00:39:23 because it’s an effect of what the day
00:39:25 of atonement stands for. Right.
00:39:28 Yes.
00:39:29 So uh but with Ben bringing that up,
00:39:31 let’s go and look at the day of
00:39:34 atonement. And that is um actually from
00:39:38 Leviticus 16. Um and let’s go find that
00:39:44 first because there’s actually a couple.
00:39:47 Got to figure out the best way to spell
00:39:49 it so I can find it faster. Spelling’s
00:39:51 not my
00:39:54 uh I don’t a goat.
00:39:56 Okay. Uh
00:40:00 okay. Starting in verse 21 or starting
00:40:03 in verse 20. Well, um, so the looks like
00:40:06 the one that has the Azel escape goat in
00:40:08 it is um, one of them is 26. I think
00:40:12 there’s another one,
00:40:14 but I’ll just go to the Hebrew
00:40:17 interlinear on 26 since that’s the first
00:40:20 one I found that has that word. I do
00:40:22 know what it means, but I want to show
00:40:24 it from the interlinear. Okay.
00:40:28 Yeah.
00:40:33 But maybe while I’m working on getting
00:40:36 it, I will say what it means and then
00:40:38 I’ll go confirm it. It means
00:40:41 to um entirely remove.
00:40:48 So 16 and then I think I said 26. I did.
00:40:52 Yes. 26.
00:40:56 Okay. Let’s see how they have it here.
00:40:59 Oh, here. a scapegoat which is Aziel.
00:41:03 Um
00:41:04 Aazil. Yeah.
00:41:07 Oh, did I say it wrong? Okay.
00:41:09 Yeah, you said Aiel. It’s Aazil.
00:41:12 Okay. Um All right. So, there’s a couple
00:41:15 definitions here, but the ones I want to
00:41:18 focus on is entire removal. Entire
00:41:22 removal. even the uh Brown driver
00:41:25 Briggs, which um it gets a lot more
00:41:29 technical than these other ones above
00:41:31 does. And I’ll just leave it at that.
00:41:33 Okay. Um they can be helpful, but it’s
00:41:36 also can be a little more confusing, but
00:41:38 they’re they’re a lot more technic they
00:41:40 get into more technicalities. Okay. So
00:41:44 this aiel or uh I think I just said
00:41:50 aazel
00:41:50 aazil
00:41:52 is to entirely remove something
00:41:58 so let’s go look at the verses that have
00:42:00 to do with that particular goat. Um but
00:42:04 one thing
00:42:04 where it starts up in verse 20 where
00:42:07 it’s talking about the whole ceremony
00:42:10 regarding this scapegoat. I can read
00:42:13 that if you want.
00:42:14 Well, so um
00:42:17 I the escapegoat I believe starts in 21
00:42:20 and not 20. Um or
00:42:23 it actually does start in 20 because
00:42:26 that’s the goat.
00:42:28 Yeah, that that last that last line.
00:42:30 Okay, sorry about that. Yes, you’re
00:42:32 right.
00:42:32 When he hath made an end of reconciling
00:42:35 the holy place and the tabernacle of the
00:42:38 congregation and the altar, he shall
00:42:40 bring the live goat and Aaron shall
00:42:44 I just want to bring up this is the
00:42:47 Aziel
00:42:49 Aazil Aazil. That’s going to be a hard
00:42:52 falseh
00:42:55 get out of the bad habit it looks like.
00:42:57 But anyways, um so that is the the goat
00:43:00 that we’re talking about here or um the
00:43:04 escapegoat is the English term for it.
00:43:07 Right.
00:43:08 Exactly. And Aaron shall lay both his
00:43:10 hands upon the head of the live goat
00:43:13 asel
00:43:14 and confess over him all the iniquities
00:43:17 of the children of Israel.
00:43:19 Okay. Okay. So real real quick, uh this
00:43:22 pattern here that’s going on goes along
00:43:25 with um other offerings that happens
00:43:29 that you lay the sins upon the animal
00:43:33 symbolically
00:43:35 and then it takes upon the punishment
00:43:39 that you deserve aka death. Okay. So
00:43:44 here is someone or this animal is
00:43:47 representing someone that can take our
00:43:50 sins. I will say that is not Satan for
00:43:54 many reasons. For one, he’s a sinner.
00:43:56 For two, he doesn’t have a physical
00:43:58 body.
00:44:00 Yes.
00:44:01 For three, he did not get sanctified.
00:44:05 Uh four, he did not go through a
00:44:07 mortality test. Five, he’s not the
00:44:10 leader.
00:44:11 Yeah. So there’s many reasons that it
00:44:15 cannot be Satan that’s being represented
00:44:18 here. Okay.
00:44:19 Yeah. I mean the sins of Israel are laid
00:44:23 upon the head of this goat by Aaron by
00:44:26 the high priest.
00:44:29 Uh and as we know from Hebrews, Yeshua
00:44:32 is our high priest and he confessed the
00:44:35 sins of Israel. The Israel is all those
00:44:38 who have um struggled with God and man
00:44:41 and prevailed.
00:44:43 Yep.
00:44:44 Uh he confess he confessed the sins of
00:44:47 all of Israel over his body.
00:44:50 Um now here it says putting them upon
00:44:53 the head of the goat.
00:44:54 Now I I wanted to say real quick on on
00:44:56 the goat. I know uh at least my favorite
00:45:00 imagery for Yeshua Islam,
00:45:03 but there is a reason to have a goat
00:45:05 here. Even though goat represents
00:45:07 wickedness in general,
00:45:10 what did Yeshua take upon him during the
00:45:13 atonement?
00:45:14 Wickedness and sin,
00:45:16 our sins.
00:45:18 And the other thing, the other thing is
00:45:20 is that um a goat was every bit as much
00:45:23 an acceptable uh sin offering as a lamb
00:45:26 was.
00:45:28 Correct. Correct. I I do agree that. And
00:45:30 I would wonder if it’s because a day of
00:45:32 atonement.
00:45:33 Yeah. But I do want to bring out how
00:45:35 generally speaking in the scriptures, a
00:45:37 goat does represent wicked ones.
00:45:40 Yes. Because
00:45:42 but it it’s still appropriate even here
00:45:45 because Yeshua took
00:45:48 my sin
00:45:50 and our sins and your sins upon him such
00:45:55 that you could be covered. Okay.
00:45:58 Putting Yes. So the it is so the high
00:46:01 priest puts the sins upon the head of
00:46:04 the goat and shall send him by away by
00:46:07 the hand of a fit man into the
00:46:09 wilderness.
00:46:11 Now that uh fit man uh
00:46:15 I do believe it’s the Romans Gentiles.
00:46:17 Okay. It’s not
00:46:19 his prophetically in in terms of
00:46:21 prophetic symbology it would be the
00:46:23 Gentiles. But um yeah
00:46:27 it’s so basically the person who takes
00:46:30 the goat out into the wilderness should
00:46:32 be u should have reasonable stamina.
00:46:37 Right. Hence fit some strength there.
00:46:40 And the wilderness would represent
00:46:42 Golgatha Calvary or the cross. Right.
00:46:46 and the goat shall bear upon him all
00:46:49 their iniquities.
00:46:50 Okay, so here here’s this again. Um,
00:46:53 Satan can’t bear anybody’s sins upon
00:46:56 him.
00:46:56 He can’t even bear it. He can’t even
00:46:58 stand himself for his own sins,
00:47:01 right? And so, uh, it takes a sinless
00:47:07 man to be able to bear someone else’s
00:47:11 sins. There’s only one man, the man that
00:47:17 qualifies as I went over some of the
00:47:19 reasons earlier, right?
00:47:22 So, and the goat shall bear upon him all
00:47:24 their iniquities onto a land not
00:47:26 inhabited,
00:47:28 which would be Golgtha, Calvary, the
00:47:30 cross.
00:47:30 Yep. And he shall let go the goat in the
00:47:33 wilderness.
00:47:35 Now I do some tradition associated with
00:47:38 this that uh that fit man would then
00:47:42 proceed to throw the goat backwards off
00:47:45 of a cliff. But that’s tradition. It’s
00:47:47 not actually stated in the word.
00:47:49 Yeah, that’s in the Talmud or Mishna, I
00:47:53 forget which one, but they’re both false
00:47:55 traditions of the Jews. Um, and they did
00:47:59 that because they thought it had to die
00:48:01 before they could finish the other
00:48:03 ceremony. the I I should say the rest of
00:48:05 this ceremony. Sorry. Um but I don’t see
00:48:08 that anywhere in the text.
00:48:10 Right. Yeah. That’s so this this text
00:48:13 that you’ll notice that that’s not in
00:48:16 this text and that’s because Yo didn’t
00:48:18 put it there.
00:48:20 Yes. Yeah.
00:48:23 And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle
00:48:25 of the congregation and shall put off
00:48:27 the linen garments. But yeah, but that’s
00:48:29 the bit about the that’s the bit about
00:48:31 the scapegoat. Um
00:48:33 there’s a little bit more in 26 if you
00:48:36 wanted to read.
00:48:36 And this is for the after the fit man
00:48:39 has let the scapegoat go into the
00:48:41 wilderness. Uh he that let go of the
00:48:43 goat let go of the goat for the
00:48:45 scapegoat shall wash his clothes bathe
00:48:48 his flesh in water and afterward come
00:48:50 into the camp.
00:48:51 So which goes along with being uh
00:48:54 baptized and joining the assembly of the
00:48:57 believers. Okay. Now, there’s also some
00:48:59 twisted tradition to go along with that
00:49:01 one where basically the rabbis have made
00:49:04 up this idea that no person who ever
00:49:07 took the goat out ever survived the
00:49:08 year.
00:49:10 What? Where did they get that? I
00:49:14 Anyways, okay. I’m glad I don’t listen
00:49:16 to the uh Orthodox rabbis. Um,
00:49:19 well, you know, it’s uh it’s
00:49:24 it’s not it’s often not it’s often not
00:49:27 terribly informative, but except as a um
00:49:32 reference to realize how far
00:49:35 uh
00:49:37 how far the Jews have fallen
00:49:40 in their reverence of Torah. They just
00:49:43 don’t even uh what they teach isn’t even
00:49:46 from it. Uh
00:49:50 uh yes and I I realized that myself
00:49:53 after I awoke and arose or was starting
00:49:55 to arise anyways and and trying to study
00:49:58 some things out and I thought looking at
00:50:00 what they said would be helpful. I mean
00:50:02 I will admit sometimes it is but most of
00:50:05 the time when they claim a verse says
00:50:07 this and I go look at the verse I’m like
00:50:10 uh I don’t see how.
00:50:13 Yeah. Well, and you know, and it’s
00:50:17 really funny how uh I have some Torah
00:50:20 some Torah
00:50:22 uh Hebrew roots teachers who will then
00:50:24 say, “Well, you just need to study it
00:50:25 until you do see it.” And I’m just like,
00:50:28 and to that I say, “Um,
00:50:31 so in other words, I have to trick
00:50:33 myself into seeing it.” Okay. I I don’t
00:50:35 believe it already.
00:50:37 Yeah. when it sounds like they have
00:50:38 supposedly done that and they don’t know
00:50:40 how to explain it, which means they’re
00:50:42 just taking it blindly. Right.
00:50:46 Right.
00:50:47 Well, so uh this ceremony, which we’re
00:50:51 not going to go over in Leviticus 16, uh
00:50:54 any more than we just did, uh oh,
00:50:57 there’s the AL. It’s in in earlier
00:51:00 verses in 8, 9, and 10, but that’s fine.
00:51:04 We don’t need to read those, okay?
00:51:05 Unless you wanted to about the lot
00:51:09 saying which goat is which. Okay.
00:51:12 Yeah.
00:51:12 So, but this uh Leviticus 16 is what the
00:51:18 church
00:51:19 does, the assembly, not individual
00:51:22 people. Okay?
00:51:25 So, you don’t need to go buy two goats
00:51:28 and and find someone to be the high
00:51:32 priest and whatnot. But since we since
00:51:35 we don’t have a temple
00:51:37 uh since there isn’t a temple to perform
00:51:39 this uh perform that ordinance in nobody
00:51:42 does at this point uh correct and I do
00:51:47 believe in in the second coming events
00:51:50 the authority the the temple a temple
00:51:54 and the authority for to do the animal
00:51:56 sacrifices will be restored but that’s
00:51:59 has not the case yet. it it is coming.
00:52:03 Um, but I I do want to at least focus on
00:52:08 one part in Leviticus uh 26 through32
00:52:13 uh about what we need to do. Um, in
00:52:17 fact, maybe we’ll just read this whole
00:52:19 little section. Okay. Uh, John, are you
00:52:22 willing to read?
00:52:24 Yes. Starting in verse 27, you said
00:52:27 or 26. Ah, very top. Okay,
00:52:30 I got you. And Yahweh spake unto Moshe,
00:52:34 saying also on the 10th before the world
00:52:38 uh day, well, also on the 10th day. And
00:52:41 okay, so but this uh little glyph there
00:52:44 that uh John read, it goes along with
00:52:47 why the lamb is selected on the 10th is
00:52:50 because the 10th
00:52:53 uh when you realize Yeshua came in the
00:52:56 fourth millennium to do his um purpose
00:53:01 which was on the 14th of the month and
00:53:04 you do a millennium back per day, the
00:53:07 10th is before the foundation of the
00:53:09 world.
00:53:11 Yes.
00:53:12 So the day of atonement’s on the 10th,
00:53:14 the same reason that you select the lamb
00:53:17 on the 10th because we selected Yeshua
00:53:20 before we came here to earth.
00:53:23 Correct.
00:53:24 Of this seventh month, which seventh can
00:53:28 be tied to perfection,
00:53:31 uh there shall be a day of atonement.
00:53:34 It shall be an holy convocation aka
00:53:38 annual Sabbath unto you and you shall
00:53:42 afflict your souls.
00:53:45 Okay, we’re going to this we need to
00:53:47 remember um there’s
00:53:50 um so I guess we’ll just start with here
00:53:53 real quick briefly. Um uh yeah, I’ll
00:53:57 just get into it. So general tradition
00:54:00 is that
00:54:03 we fast on this day. Now I do believe
00:54:07 there is precedence for this. For one
00:54:12 um
00:54:13 let’s
00:54:15 I don’t know the order to do this. So
00:54:16 I’m just going to do something. So I’m
00:54:18 going to go back to uh one thing first.
00:54:21 So during the atonement in Isaiah 53:7,
00:54:26 it brings out that his soul was
00:54:29 afflicted.
00:54:32 Now I I do know it’s the same English
00:54:34 word. I don’t know if it’s the same
00:54:36 Hebrew one. Um but it’s even if it’s a
00:54:39 different Hebrew word, it’s the same
00:54:41 basic idea here. Okay.
00:54:44 Yes.
00:54:45 So he was afflicted uh because of what
00:54:48 people did to him.
00:54:51 But that’s more the oppressed. The
00:54:53 afflicted in my honest opinion has to do
00:54:57 with our sins that he took upon himself
00:55:01 such to work out uh the atonement which
00:55:04 is represented in the day of atonement
00:55:07 ceremony. So I I want I’m what I’m
00:55:11 trying to bring out here.
00:55:13 The day of atonement uh ceremony
00:55:18 what the Levites do for the whole church
00:55:20 is pointing us back to Yeshua. What we
00:55:23 do ourselves
00:55:25 also points us back to Yeshua and what
00:55:28 he did.
00:55:30 Yes.
00:55:31 Now we can’t do what he did obviously.
00:55:34 At least I can’t. I’ve sinned. Okay. and
00:55:37 I’m not the leader. So there’s two
00:55:39 strikes against me there. So
00:55:41 you can fast just as he fasted for 40
00:55:44 days and 40 nights in the wilderness.
00:55:46 Correct. But the fasting um so the
00:55:49 atonement is to bring about
00:55:51 righteousness. Okay. And if we look at
00:55:54 Isaiah
00:55:57 is it 58? Uh the one about fasting.
00:56:00 Yes.
00:56:01 Okay.
00:56:02 I believe so.
00:56:05 uh that in there it brings out how
00:56:07 fasting’s main purpose is to bring about
00:56:11 righteousness.
00:56:13 Okay.
00:56:14 Mhm.
00:56:15 Which as we saw when we uh looked
00:56:18 further down here when we’re talking
00:56:19 about the forsaking issue. Um Yeshua was
00:56:24 forsakated
00:56:26 from Yahw because he took our sins upon
00:56:28 him to bring about righteousness as in 1
00:56:33 Peter 2:24. Right.
00:56:36 And I have that specific verse that it’s
00:56:39 talking about the fast.
00:56:41 Okay. Go ahead. Isaiah 58:6.
00:56:44 Is not this the fast that I have chosen,
00:56:48 to loose the bands of wickedness, to
00:56:50 undo the heavy burdens, and to let the
00:56:52 oppressed go free, that ye break every
00:56:55 yoke?
00:56:57 Is it not to And it’s verse 7. Is it not
00:57:00 to deal thy bread to the hungry, and
00:57:02 that thou bring the poor that are cast
00:57:04 out to thy house? When thou seeest the
00:57:06 naked, that thou cover him, and that
00:57:08 thou hide not thyself from thine own
00:57:10 flesh?
00:57:14 That’s probably good enough, but unless
00:57:16 you feel inclined to read more.
00:57:18 Well, I do want to say one thing.
00:57:20 Go ahead.
00:57:21 This also informed how Yeshua lived the
00:57:26 Sabbath.
00:57:27 Correct. Yeah.
00:57:28 Because
00:57:30 the that the healings that he did were
00:57:33 to free people so that they could keep
00:57:36 the Sabbath in spirit and truth.
00:57:39 Yes. Yes. So I agree with that. Now the
00:57:42 point I wanted to focus on is how the
00:57:45 atonement was to bring forth
00:57:47 righteousness. Right.
00:57:49 Yes.
00:57:50 And Isaiah 58 I what is it? Six
00:57:55 six
00:57:57 6 and 7 is bringing out the purpose of
00:58:00 uh fasting is to bring about
00:58:03 righteousness.
00:58:05 Yeah. It’s not just to go without food.
00:58:07 Oh dang it. No, I’m joking. Well, if
00:58:10 you’re doing that, you’re just starving.
00:58:12 Sorry.
00:58:12 Correct. You’re absolutely correct.
00:58:15 Now, there is a part of fasting where
00:58:18 you don’t eat and then you donate what
00:58:19 he eated to those who need it, right?
00:58:22 Um, so there’s that aspect, right?
00:58:24 That would be and that would be a fine
00:58:26 offering of charity.
00:58:28 Yes. And and doing that is actually part
00:58:32 of being righteous. Okay.
00:58:35 But that’s not the part I want to focus
00:58:37 on. the part is to bring about
00:58:38 righteousness which is the purpose of
00:58:41 the atonement. Okay. And so here as um
00:58:46 John just read here in the one I’m
00:58:49 highlighting in uh 27 is to afflict our
00:58:53 souls.
00:58:56 So the way that we uh do this physically
00:59:00 is to do a physical fast. Okay? And I
00:59:03 agree with that.
00:59:05 I’m also trying to bring out how there’s
00:59:07 more to it and that it’s trying to
00:59:09 connect us to what Yeshua did and how
00:59:12 Amen was afflicted to bring about
00:59:15 righteousness and Isaiah 586 and 7
00:59:18 brings out uh fasting which is the
00:59:23 physical part of afflicting your soul is
00:59:25 to bring about righteousness.
00:59:27 Yes.
00:59:28 And during this period you are to repent
00:59:31 and get right with Yahw. Okay.
00:59:36 And so I I think I probably made that
00:59:39 hopefully I made that connection clear
00:59:40 there with the afflicting your soul and
00:59:42 fasting and going back to the atonement.
00:59:45 Right
00:59:45 now with the fast curiosity now does
00:59:49 that mean just food or is that both food
00:59:52 and water?
00:59:53 I do food and water. I don’t know if
00:59:57 scripture specifies one or the other.
01:00:00 I would do both. I would suggest it.
01:00:03 just do one.
01:00:05 Yeah.
01:00:06 Sorry. I would encourage everybody to um
01:00:09 you know because there’s some people who
01:00:11 can’t necessarily go who can can’t
01:00:15 necessarily go without food and water
01:00:17 for medical reasons. I in that instance
01:00:20 I would encourage you to um I I would
01:00:23 encourage you to uh
01:00:27 follow the advice of your medical
01:00:29 professional.
01:00:31 Um and yet at the same time also get
01:00:33 yourself into a place uh uh we we all
01:00:36 need to work on getting ourselves into
01:00:38 places of better health where these
01:00:39 problems are not problems.
01:00:42 So um fast as long as you can uh within
01:00:46 uh your constraints and but I would say
01:00:52 on the more important part work on uh
01:00:55 getting right with Yahw which is
01:00:57 bringing forth righteousness.
01:00:59 Yeah. and the and is brought forth
01:01:02 that’s brought forth in Isaiah 58 where
01:01:05 it’s basically
01:01:08 the food is less important than the
01:01:10 repentance.
01:01:11 Correct.
01:01:11 The lack of food is less important than
01:01:13 the repentant heart.
01:01:15 Absolutely
01:01:16 correct. And that’s what I’m just kind
01:01:17 of saying here for those who aren’t able
01:01:19 to do the physical part because of
01:01:21 medical reasons. Okay.
01:01:23 Correct.
01:01:24 Yeah. Um anyways. Okay. So, uh, I think
01:01:29 that’s enough on that one. Unless
01:01:30 anybody has anything else.
01:01:31 Well, I do have one more thing to add.
01:01:33 Sure. Go ahead.
01:01:34 The offering that Yahwa has always asked
01:01:37 for is the broken heart and the contrite
01:01:41 spirit. And this just magnifies this is
01:01:44 in a magnifying point to what Stephen
01:01:47 has already said and that is the
01:01:51 spiritual is most definitely more
01:01:54 important than the physical in the
01:01:57 during this appointed time aka getting
01:02:00 yourself right. So what does Yahweh
01:02:03 expect of us? He expects a broken heart
01:02:07 and a contrite spirit.
01:02:11 are attributes of someone who wants to
01:02:15 repent.
01:02:16 Correct.
01:02:19 Oh,
01:02:20 and repentance brings forth
01:02:22 righteousness.
01:02:23 Yes.
01:02:25 I I mean I I hopefully I don’t have to
01:02:28 get too far into that one to show that,
01:02:30 but maybe
01:02:32 you’re good.
01:02:32 I think we’re good.
01:02:34 Okay. All right. So, John, you want to
01:02:36 uh
01:02:36 I’ll keep going. Yeah. And you shall
01:02:38 afflict your souls. I’ll just pick up
01:02:40 where we left off. And you shall afflict
01:02:42 your souls and offer an offering made by
01:02:45 fire, purification unto Yahwa.
01:02:48 Okay. So, this is a kind of a common
01:02:51 theme in these uh uh days, right?
01:02:55 Offering by fire.
01:02:57 Mhm.
01:02:58 So, if you can uh go do a fire outside
01:03:03 with some wood. If nothing else, I uh I
01:03:07 will be doing that and I’ll be putting a
01:03:09 video up, but if nothing else, at least
01:03:11 maybe do a candle, right? Um even
01:03:14 apartment complexes let you do candles
01:03:17 if you can’t go somewhere else to go do
01:03:18 a fire. Okay,
01:03:19 is correct.
01:03:21 Um All right. So, we’re supposed to So,
01:03:24 so far two things that we need to do is
01:03:28 uh afflict our souls, which has multiple
01:03:30 parts to it, and make an offering by
01:03:33 fire. So make a fire either outside with
01:03:36 wood, which I would pref I think is the
01:03:39 best because
01:03:41 the wood goes along how Yahweh’s
01:03:43 perfecting us. Okay? Cuz uh tree
01:03:46 represents uh humans, people. But um
01:03:52 I’m also trying to say what actually is
01:03:54 literally in the text by fire. And I do
01:03:56 think a candle would support that for
01:03:58 those who can’t go do a full-frame.
01:04:01 Yeah, I would suggest not burning down
01:04:03 the house.
01:04:06 Um, I would concur with that one
01:04:11 wholeheartedly.
01:04:17 But thank you to make sure that’s clear,
01:04:19 Ben.
01:04:21 Your sense of adventure.
01:04:26 All right.
01:04:28 up your unto Yahwa and you shall do no
01:04:31 work in that same day because okay
01:04:34 Sabbath.
01:04:35 Yeah. Yeah. So this is an annual
01:04:36 Sabbath. So
01:04:39 uh and I can’t remember if it’s in this
01:04:41 verse or another one but the actual day
01:04:44 of day of atma is the 10th. Okay. But
01:04:48 you do start your fast the evening
01:04:52 before. Okay. Now, I do believe this
01:04:56 goes along with uh when Yeshua started
01:05:02 doing it.
01:05:03 Mhm.
01:05:04 He had a meal and then he afflicted his
01:05:07 soul.
01:05:09 So to start your fast, have a meal
01:05:14 and inflict your soul as he did.
01:05:17 Yes.
01:05:19 And
01:05:21 you know, and there’s nothing saying
01:05:22 that the meal can’t be dectable before
01:05:24 you begin your fast.
01:05:27 Sorry, say that one more time, Ben.
01:05:29 There’s nothing saying that the meal
01:05:30 can’t be enjoyable.
01:05:32 Oh, yeah. Yeah. Enjoy your meal.
01:05:33 It says to afflict your souls that I I
01:05:37 would say that you should that uh that
01:05:40 you can um that uh before before and
01:05:44 after you can find the joy. M correct I
01:05:48 agree and uh th this on the meal uh to
01:05:54 open and close my fast this is my
01:05:57 tradition I have goat both times okay
01:06:00 and then out of suggestion from John I
01:06:03 do feta cheese and pa pa bread um which
01:06:08 I actually think kind of goes along with
01:06:10 what’s happened but that’s my tradition
01:06:12 so we’re not going to focus on that
01:06:13 we’re going to go back to the scriptures
01:06:15 there we All right. And ye shall do no
01:06:17 work in that self in that same day. For
01:06:20 it is a day of atonement to make an
01:06:22 atonement for you before Yahwa Elohu.
01:06:29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not
01:06:33 be afflicted in that same day, he shall
01:06:36 be cut off.
01:06:37 Okay, so that’s a really big deal.
01:06:44 I if you don’t fast on the day of
01:06:47 atonement, you’re cut off from Yahweh.
01:06:52 Mhm.
01:06:53 Because you are in essence
01:06:56 refusing
01:06:58 to take your cross.
01:07:01 No. Yeah.
01:07:02 I think it’s more than you’re refusing
01:07:04 to repent. And so,
01:07:05 well, yeah, that’s true. Better better
01:07:07 point. Better point.
01:07:08 And I would say this somewhat gets into
01:07:11 the degrees of glory. I and I’m not 100%
01:07:14 sure here, but this is my inclination.
01:07:16 Okay, you can still be in the kingdom,
01:07:19 but not everyone in the kingdom will
01:07:21 still see Yahweh’s face. And in
01:07:23 addition, even less will see his glory.
01:07:26 Yes.
01:07:27 Celestral will be cut off from Yahweh.
01:07:29 Period. They won’t even get to see his
01:07:31 face.
01:07:32 Yes.
01:07:33 Trust will see his face. Celestral will
01:07:36 see his glory. Okay.
01:07:38 They see everything
01:07:41 because the way that I the reason I
01:07:43 another way to why I would say this and
01:07:46 to justify it is uh there is no amount
01:07:50 of sins that will take you out of the
01:07:52 kingdom.
01:07:54 It’s you rejecting Yeshua and his
01:07:56 atonement that will get you out of his
01:07:59 kingdom because you need him to get in
01:08:01 there. Okay? So, as long as you have him
01:08:04 no matter what other stupid stuff you’re
01:08:06 doing. and aka sins. So stupid is not
01:08:08 the best word, but you get the idea.
01:08:10 You’re going to you’re going to be in
01:08:12 the kingdom. Now, after in the kingdom,
01:08:15 you’re rewarded by your works. And
01:08:17 apparently, one work to see his face so
01:08:20 that way you’re not cut off from him is
01:08:23 to perform your part of the day of
01:08:25 atonement, which is fasting,
01:08:28 um repenting,
01:08:31 uh a offering made by fire.
01:08:34 Yes.
01:08:36 Does it say what you’re supposed to
01:08:38 offer by fire?
01:08:41 Um, no. So, at other times it says it’s
01:08:45 up to you. I would say at minimum is the
01:08:49 wood or the candle. Okay. And if you
01:08:51 want to add more, that is up to you.
01:08:54 Okay. That’s fair.
01:08:55 Now, I I will be honest here. I don’t
01:08:58 know if you can add more, but um because
01:09:01 other times it does specify you can do
01:09:03 more. This one does not, unless it’s
01:09:05 later that I forgot about, but I don’t
01:09:08 think that’s the case. Um, and so I’m
01:09:12 prone to I I’ll tell you what I’m doing.
01:09:14 I’m just doing fire. Um,
01:09:17 I I it on more than that I am personally
01:09:21 a little unclear myself at this point.
01:09:25 Yes,
01:09:27 understood.
01:09:30 Okay, finish, John.
01:09:31 Thank you.
01:09:33 uh he shall be cut off from among his
01:09:36 people. And whatsoever soul it shall be
01:09:39 that doeth any work in that same day,
01:09:42 the same soul will I, Yahwa, destroy
01:09:46 from among his people. I see a throwback
01:09:50 to the man gathering sticks
01:09:54 in Exodus.
01:09:57 Yes. Do you want to talk about that or
01:09:59 do you want me to? So the man
01:10:02 was gathering sticks
01:10:04 the Sabbath.
01:10:05 On the Sabbath,
01:10:07 which uh this is a Sabbath, right?
01:10:10 This is Yeah.
01:10:12 It specifically states a nonwork day and
01:10:15 it’s a day to come unto Yahweh.
01:10:18 Yes.
01:10:20 So there is some symbolic symbology in
01:10:25 the fact that he was gathering sticks.
01:10:28 But let’s stick to just the physical
01:10:30 ramifications. He was laboring on a day
01:10:35 he was told to not labor or doing menial
01:10:40 labor that he w that was told that
01:10:43 survile.
01:10:45 Survile it. Yeah, he was doing labor on
01:10:49 the Sabbath. Yahweh takes his Sabbath
01:10:52 very very very
01:10:56 seriously.
01:10:58 And to in that even when during the
01:11:00 Exodus they were they did not travel
01:11:03 during the daylight hours of the Sabbath
01:11:06 because that would have been carrying a
01:11:07 burden which is a surviile work that
01:11:11 you’re not supposed to do. So it was in
01:11:13 the evening that they could do that
01:11:15 after the Sabbath hours and thus um
01:11:19 those Sabbath requirements were no
01:11:21 longer in place. And guess what folks,
01:11:24 that person who is gathering sticks on
01:11:27 the Sabbath and breaking the commandment
01:11:29 to do no survile work on the Sabbath, he
01:11:33 was destroyed. He was stoned to
01:11:37 death
01:11:39 which goes along if uh you end up being
01:11:42 a son of predition you will be stoned
01:11:44 for eternity. Okay.
01:11:46 Correct.
01:11:47 Uh it is in the law Torah.
01:11:50 So the u so one thing that I will point
01:11:55 out is that the law of the Sabbath is
01:11:57 that we are not to do any survival work
01:12:00 on the Sabbath. So that m and that means
01:12:03 work related to our um work related to
01:12:07 our livelihood.
01:12:09 Correct.
01:12:10 And so that means that the sticks that
01:12:11 he was gathering were in relation to his
01:12:14 livelihood.
01:12:15 Yeah. He he was probably being paid to
01:12:18 do that at other times. Um and maybe he
01:12:21 was thought he had some free time to
01:12:24 help with his work for the next day. Um
01:12:27 cuz hopefully I doubt anybody was paying
01:12:29 for him to do that right then because no
01:12:31 one else was put to death. Um
01:12:34 so he is probably trying to make his
01:12:36 work for the next day easier. Um because
01:12:40 on this point um you can start a fire on
01:12:45 the Sabbath to cook food. Okay.
01:12:48 And you can cook food.
01:12:50 Yeah. Which is different than just
01:12:52 warming it up. Okay. Um, and that’s
01:12:55 actually specified in Torah and DNC 59.
01:12:59 I would rather not sidetrack on that,
01:13:00 but it it’s in both. Okay. In addition,
01:13:04 here is a verse that calls or the I
01:13:07 should say passage because it’s multiple
01:13:09 verses that actually specifically
01:13:11 telling you to start a fire on a
01:13:14 Sabbath, right?
01:13:15 Yes.
01:13:17 So the fact it’s not that he it’s not
01:13:20 that if he was just starting a fire he
01:13:23 wouldn’t have been killed. It was the
01:13:26 fact that he was doing surviile work and
01:13:30 breaking the law.
01:13:33 Correct.
01:13:36 And thereby costing Israel Yah’s
01:13:40 protection
01:13:42 symbolically killing the people.
01:13:46 Correct. Um, now I don’t remember off
01:13:49 the top of my head if that happened in
01:13:51 that case, but that did happen in other
01:13:53 cases.
01:13:55 Yes. Correct.
01:13:56 Especially with Joshua in the beginning
01:13:58 when he took charge with
01:14:00 You are absolutely correct. Now, I want
01:14:02 to go ahead and read 31 because it kind
01:14:04 of highlights what we’ve been talking
01:14:05 about here. Okay.
01:14:07 You shall do no manner of work.
01:14:11 It shall be a statute.
01:14:15 forever.
01:14:18 I think my speech impediment’s rubbing
01:14:20 off on you guys.
01:14:21 I think the correct I think the you know
01:14:24 there’s just one F there, you know.
01:14:26 Oh, sorry. Sorry. I just wanted But I
01:14:28 also wanted to make sure that people
01:14:30 understood it’s forever. It doesn’t
01:14:33 change. Yahweh doesn’t change his mind
01:14:35 like people change their underwear.
01:14:38 Okay.
01:14:40 Correct. I know it may be a crude
01:14:43 example.
01:14:45 Well, I want to get
01:14:47 I do think it’s appropriate because
01:14:48 Isaiah brings up menstrual rags.
01:14:51 Well, yeah, good point. Good point. um
01:14:57 throughout your generations in all your
01:14:59 dwellings. It shall be unto you a
01:15:02 Sabbath or annual Sabbath of rest, and
01:15:06 ye shall afflict your souls.
01:15:09 In the ninth day of the month, at even
01:15:11 sunset, from even unto even sunset shall
01:15:16 ye celebrate your Sabbath. Okay, so this
01:15:20 gets into a little calendar controversy
01:15:23 here and I don’t want to get a whole
01:15:24 bunch, but I will say a little bit. Uh,
01:15:27 if the day starts at evening,
01:15:30 which it doesn’t. Um, okay. If you have
01:15:34 to uh
01:15:36 do the fast on the ninth day and the
01:15:40 10th day,
01:15:42 uh, that would be two days of fasting.
01:15:44 But this is saying that you’re starting
01:15:47 at the last part of the ninth day till
01:15:51 the last part of the 10th day here.
01:15:53 Okay? Because otherwise you’re fasting
01:15:56 on two days on the 10th and the 9th
01:15:59 because this is not talking about the
01:16:02 way that a lot of people like to
01:16:03 interpret it. Okay?
01:16:05 Um,
01:16:07 and that’s a whole I’ll put some links
01:16:09 that talks about how the day starts at
01:16:12 sunrise from the Book of Mormon and the
01:16:14 Bible, including Genesis, in the notes.
01:16:17 Okay.
01:16:18 So, you’re saying that there’s no
01:16:20 brownie points for extra fasting days.
01:16:23 Okay. So, um, there’s only one day
01:16:26 that’s commanded for fasting, and that’s
01:16:28 the day of atonement, which actually
01:16:30 kind of carries over a little bit into
01:16:32 the 9th, right, as at sunset.
01:16:35 Um, or or dinner time. Okay.
01:16:38 Yep.
01:16:39 Um, other times that you fast, I
01:16:44 wouldn’t necessarily call it brownie
01:16:45 points, but if you’re doing it with real
01:16:47 intent, you can receive other blessings.
01:16:50 I was refer Well, I was referring to the
01:16:53 idea that if people were to try and do
01:16:56 extra fasting during this day,
01:16:58 oh, as in trying to make it too fasting
01:17:01 day.
01:17:01 Yes.
01:17:02 Uh, I don’t think anybody does that. I
01:17:04 only brought it out to somewhat bring
01:17:06 out um the controversy that
01:17:09 Yeah.
01:17:09 No, I get it. I get it. I I was just
01:17:11 saying I was just trying to bring out
01:17:17 this is what y’all expect.
01:17:19 Okay. Uh, very good. So, that’s all. And
01:17:21 I was trying to I was trying to do it
01:17:23 kind of tongue and cheek, kind of
01:17:25 Okay.
01:17:25 Uh, funny, but yeah.
01:17:26 Yeah, that’s fine. So, let me pause for
01:17:28 one second. Okay.
01:17:34 Okay. So, I needed to take a little
01:17:38 break. Um, anyways, so another thing I
01:17:40 kind of want to bring out uh is a quick
01:17:43 pattern that I see. Um, and I I kind of
01:17:47 brought this out earlier with how Yeshua
01:17:52 bled twice, okay?
01:17:55 Um, in the garden and on the cross,
01:17:59 okay? And even I forget which verse it
01:18:03 was earlier we looked at that said that,
01:18:06 but I could go back and find it real
01:18:07 quick.
01:18:09 Um, yeah, I do not have everything
01:18:12 memorized.
01:18:14 Imagine that. But hopefully even though
01:18:16 I don’t have everything memorized,
01:18:19 um you are seeing uh connections I’m
01:18:23 making to make it uh more clear, right?
01:18:27 Uh here it is. It’s the
01:18:30 Mark 8:31. And I’ll read it this time.
01:18:33 And he Yeshua began to teach them, the
01:18:36 apostles, that the son of man himself
01:18:40 uh must suffer many things. I’m going to
01:18:43 say that’s the garden especially when
01:18:45 the rest of this is in chronological
01:18:48 order and be rejected of the elders
01:18:50 meaning being judged and incorrectly
01:18:53 found inworthy and of the chief priests
01:18:56 right and the scribes because they were
01:18:58 there at the courts and be killed
01:19:01 murdered I think is a better term there
01:19:04 actually.
01:19:05 Yeah.
01:19:06 And after three days be rise again aka
01:19:10 resurrection. So, if these are all in
01:19:14 chronicle order order, which I would uh
01:19:17 say they are, he suffered in the garden
01:19:20 here. Um, which I will say uh because of
01:19:24 Martin Revelation and and the fact that
01:19:28 he was being the red heer at that point
01:19:32 because uh before he could be the altar,
01:19:35 you have to put blood on it.
01:19:37 Yes.
01:19:38 Yes. And so that even goes with the red
01:19:40 heer uh ceremony that’s also about the
01:19:44 atonement that I’ll put the link into
01:19:46 Ben and Zia recording on that one. Okay.
01:19:48 Which interestingly the ashes of the red
01:19:51 heer were required for the cleansing of
01:19:52 the sanctuary. Uh and and for the
01:19:56 cleansing of lepers.
01:19:57 Yes.
01:19:58 Correct. And and just on real p real
01:20:00 quick on a second coming portion um
01:20:05 you need the blood on the finished
01:20:08 temple or tabernacle
01:20:11 not the ashes. So the red heer is to be
01:20:14 killed after the temple is or tabernacle
01:20:19 is finished.
01:20:21 Um,
01:20:22 this is one of the reasons why any
01:20:25 secret killings that they’re doing in
01:20:27 Israel have nothing to do with
01:20:29 scriptural fulfillment.
01:20:30 Correct. This goes along how uh the
01:20:33 Orthodox
01:20:34 they are breaking Torah when they do
01:20:36 secret killings of red heers.
01:20:38 Yes. They’re not supposed to do these
01:20:39 ceremonies in secret. They’re supposed
01:20:41 to be open and public. And this also
01:20:44 goes along with how the Orthodox Jews
01:20:47 are deceiving many, okay? including
01:20:51 Christians and Messianics and Hebrewers.
01:20:56 Okay.
01:20:57 Yep.
01:20:57 Um anyways, um enough on that one. But
01:21:00 the red heer does go along with how
01:21:04 Yeshua had to bleed before anything
01:21:08 could be put on the altar. Okay.
01:21:12 Just like on the day of atonement, the
01:21:14 the first thing is the killing of the
01:21:16 oxen. uh the killing of the ox and the
01:21:19 sprinkling of its blood upon the altar
01:21:21 and the and
01:21:23 yes so I do know there’s no ancient uh
01:21:28 scripture specifically states it but
01:21:32 when you look at the symbolism and
01:21:34 putting all the pieces together it’s
01:21:36 there it’s just modern revelation
01:21:38 through Joseph Smith explicitly states
01:21:42 it okay
01:21:43 yes
01:21:44 um but I do find it interesting
01:21:46 Interesting. He bled twice.
01:21:50 Well, yeah. And I also and I also find
01:21:53 it interesting carrying it back to Day
01:21:54 of Atonement, you have two um you have
01:21:57 two uh blood offerings of the bull and
01:22:00 the goat. Um yes. So, um, and more what
01:22:05 I was looking at because I think the
01:22:07 bull is more symbolic of the red heer
01:22:10 preparing the altar
01:22:13 and then the two goats
01:22:15 are the two times he did the atonement.
01:22:18 Yeah,
01:22:19 that’s how I view it. Anyways, um I also
01:22:23 that that’s as good that’s as good as
01:22:25 I’ve heard.
01:22:26 Sure. Sure. And this goes into symbolism
01:22:29 because I do think the bull is like the
01:22:31 red hepher preparing the altar for the
01:22:33 actual offerings.
01:22:36 Mhm.
01:22:38 Um it also goes along with the two
01:22:40 lambs.
01:22:42 Yes.
01:22:43 And and I do know that the two lambs was
01:22:46 a punishment from what happened at
01:22:48 Sinai. And we have recordings and pages
01:22:51 on that. I’ll give some links. Okay. I
01:22:54 won’t get into the details of that. But
01:22:57 I do find it that the two lambs is like
01:23:01 the two goats pointing to the two times
01:23:05 he bled.
01:23:06 Yeah.
01:23:07 Um so I do want to bring that out. Um
01:23:12 and the last thing I want to bring out
01:23:14 is in the garden he was to take upon the
01:23:17 bitter cup. Okay.
01:23:20 uh during sacrament,
01:23:23 unless
01:23:25 uh you’ve taken the Nazerite vow or
01:23:28 maybe you’re pregnant, um uh you should
01:23:32 take bitter wine to have that bitter cup
01:23:36 that represents the atonement.
01:23:39 Okay? Now although we cannot perform the
01:23:42 atonement for others,
01:23:45 we also can um go through bitter things
01:23:50 to get joy. And part of that what I’m
01:23:52 going to bring out right now is
01:23:55 sometimes
01:23:57 when we take the bitter treatment from
01:24:01 non-believers,
01:24:03 it helps non-believers to become
01:24:06 believers. And we will celebrate joy
01:24:10 together with them because of that.
01:24:13 Yes.
01:24:15 So although we can’t perform the
01:24:17 atonement, we can bring people to the
01:24:19 atonement. And that is somewhat what’s
01:24:22 represented in the bitter cup of the
01:24:26 sacrament
01:24:27 and that in spite of what they do to us.
01:24:31 Correct.
01:24:32 um which there’s multiple places that
01:24:34 kind of talk about that, but this is
01:24:35 kind of a side subject. Um but Moroni 7
01:24:38 is one among others. Okay. Um and so
01:24:42 those are kind of my last thoughts I
01:24:44 wanted to bring out. Um and hopefully
01:24:48 um it’s a little more clear about the
01:24:51 atonement and that the escapegoat is
01:24:55 about the atonement in Yeshua because it
01:24:58 bears sins. The only one that can do
01:25:01 that is Yeshua. And the two different
01:25:04 goats represent different aspects of the
01:25:08 atonement. And I will also say
01:25:11 uh two also points to the two times he
01:25:14 bled for us.
01:25:16 Yes.
01:25:19 So um I don’t know if you two would like
01:25:23 to say something in closing yourself.
01:25:26 Well, I I would like to say just
01:25:28 something real quick.
01:25:30 Take this opportunity to repent.
01:25:34 Come unto Yeshua. Take his atonement
01:25:36 upon you
01:25:38 and be
01:25:40 partakers of his joy. Because I’m
01:25:43 telling you right now, there is no
01:25:46 greater joy in this world than when you
01:25:48 repent and feel the peace from him who
01:25:53 suffered, bled, and died for us and took
01:25:57 his sins upon us.
01:25:59 So please
01:26:02 take this opportunity to repent. And to
01:26:06 repent
01:26:09 is to live righteously, which is to turn
01:26:13 to Torah and take that instructional
01:26:16 that behavior
01:26:19 from Torah because that’s what Torah is.
01:26:22 It is an instruction on behavior. And if
01:26:25 you wish to be able to
01:26:30 be in his presence and be in his glory,
01:26:33 then you have to accept that atonement.
01:26:36 Repent and continue living uh in Torah.
01:26:40 Um so I just say repent. And so when I
01:26:45 say repent and be be partakers of joy, I
01:26:49 really do mean that because there is no
01:26:52 joy without Yeshua.
01:26:55 Okay. So, one thing I want to say is
01:26:57 that while the day of atonement in and
01:26:59 of itself is a solemn occasion of
01:27:02 fasting and uh forsaking of sin,
01:27:07 don’t forget to take those moments of
01:27:09 joy
01:27:10 before the fast and after the fast.
01:27:14 Yes, sir. Have a good meal.
01:27:19 Taste the fat of the land that will be
01:27:21 yours as you repent of your sins.
01:27:26 Yes. Because the meek inherit the earth.
01:27:29 That’s right.
01:27:30 Amen.
01:27:31 That’s right.
01:27:33 He He finished what? He finished my
01:27:35 statement for me. That’s beautiful.
01:27:36 Oh, sorry.
01:27:38 That was beautiful. But this that is
01:27:40 true. The meek shall inherit the earth.
01:27:42 And when we when we have when Yah has um
01:27:49 when Yahwa has given us that well done
01:27:52 thou good and faithful servant, we shall
01:27:54 inherit the fat of the land.
01:27:57 Yeah.
01:27:59 So just in closing, I
01:28:02 if you’re wondering of day
01:28:05 to come unto Yeshua,
01:28:08 what better day is there? the day of
01:28:11 atonement. Come under his covering,
01:28:15 receive his peace and become like him
01:28:20 and say in this name of Jesus Christ.
01:28:21 Amen. Or Yeshua the Messiah. Still some
01:28:24 have it still die hard but amen.
01:28:27 Amen.
