00:00:19 disciples who were called Elders so
00:00:21 those are the leaders of the church
00:00:23 right ordained priests and teachers okay
00:00:26 uh they lay their hands upon them and
00:00:29 then they say I or darn ordain you to be
00:00:32 a priest or a teacher right
00:00:34 to preach repentance and remission of
00:00:38 sins oh preach repentance it’s so
00:00:41 important that’s even part of what they
00:00:43 said to ordain anyways through Yeshua
00:00:46 the Messiah by the endurance of faith on
00:00:49 his name to the end endure to the end
00:00:51 right but uh in fact that has a lot
00:00:54 that’s doctrine of Christ right there
00:00:55 right anyways
00:00:57 um but the form the thing that’s really
00:00:59 interesting though is verse four and
00:01:02 after this manner they did ordained
00:01:04 priests and teachers according to the
00:01:06 gifts and callings God unto men that
00:01:09 they adore ordained them by the power of
00:01:12 the Holy Ghost which was in them oh wait
00:01:14 a minute what that it’s not by the
00:01:16 priesthood
00:01:17 by the power of the Holy Spirit

00:01:24 which in them means that they’re keeping
00:01:27 it right but right now this is an
00:01:30 interesting thing because this is
00:01:32 something that we that I’ve run into

00:01:47 obsolete the need for the aaronic
00:01:49 priesthood and that to which I say

00:01:54 yeah well so there are people being
00:01:56 ordained to be priests and teachers a
00:01:59 theoronic priesthood was obviated well
00:02:01 right and this is uh in the Book of
00:02:03 Mormon which they claim to believe right
00:02:05 and this is after the death and
00:02:07 resurrection of Yeshua right yes so the
00:02:11 point is so the point is that uh guess
00:02:14 what
00:02:15 the aaronic priesthood was not obviated
00:02:17 by yeshua’s sacrifice no uh because uh
00:02:23 the callings here that they’re doing
00:02:25 teachers and Priests right
00:02:28 uh that’s ironic priesthood those two
00:02:33 positions right that’s ironic

00:03:24 filled the qualifications that were
00:03:28 specified in Torah for somebody

00:03:41 um that so today churches will do
00:03:45 callings according by inspiration right
00:03:49 where if I I liked Jay golden Kimball uh
00:03:54 right
00:03:55 um and he has uh he lists see if I can
00:03:59 remember the the three reasons but he
00:04:01 has three reasons why people were called
00:04:03 by inspiration
00:04:05 perspiration and relation

00:04:18 um Branch now here’s another I mean lots
00:04:21 of sidetracks so in the DNC you will
00:04:24 never find the word ward okay you will
00:04:27 only find branch and Ward actually comes
00:04:30 from Brigham Young’s Masonic background
00:04:32 and it was got used after Joseph Smith
00:04:36 was murdered
00:04:38 um which I believe Brigham Young helped
00:04:41 with actually but I agree yeah and but
00:04:45 in the DNC it’s only Branch So within
00:04:48 Branch I agree so much and I helped make

00:04:56 and says that right Joseph Smith’s last

00:05:32 Levites who kept the music of Praise
00:05:34 going in the temple Around the Clock as
00:05:38 requested by King David
00:05:40 yes yeah and there’s also the Levites it
00:05:43 was also the Levites Who Bore
00:05:46 the Tabernacle right of the Covenant
00:05:49 yeah all so I think it’s important I
00:05:52 have two sons that are ironic priesthood
00:05:54 holders and I’m so thankful that they
00:05:56 hold that priesthood they don’t
00:05:58 completely understand it and they don’t
00:06:00 use it right now and but they do
00:06:04 the LDS church doesn’t really teach it
00:06:07 um and when you go look at dnc20 right
00:06:10 to go learn your duty the stuff that’s
00:06:12 in there uh is actually for adults and
00:06:16 in Joseph Smith’s day the ironic
00:06:19 priesthood was only given to adults and
00:06:21 you can even see this even in the New
00:06:23 Testament I don’t know

00:06:30 even the deacons were supposed to be you
00:06:32 believe that their ordination was valid
00:06:35 because they were ordained you know when
00:06:37 they were teenagers and they passed the
00:06:39 sacrament did all that and uh but they
00:06:42 both became but I you that’s on a
00:06:45 person-by-person basis uh because the uh
00:06:50 what is it
00:06:51 you can see two or 10 or 13 I forget it
00:06:55 talks about how the that priesthood is
00:06:57 not going to be removed it’s very
00:06:59 resilient and I don’t see that in the
00:07:02 Old Testament
00:07:04 Melchizedek priesthood is another uh
00:07:08 uh State of Affairs because that one you
00:07:11 have to get by the yahweh’s personal
00:07:13 voice which I have quotes on that and
00:07:16 I’ll give you the reason okay page
00:07:19 um and we can look at those if you want
00:07:21 but
00:07:23 um I I do not believe the LDS church or
00:07:26 other restoration churches have the
00:07:28 Melchizedek priesthood I don’t even I I
00:07:30 don’t have it myself I haven’t heard

00:07:38 I it’s not like
00:07:41 this big uh thing that a lot of people
00:07:44 make it out to be I mean the Levites

00:07:48 heaven and they didn’t have the
00:07:49 melchized it down on Earth so but

00:09:00 the aaronic priesthood to and we just

00:09:15 that we need to bear in mind when we’re
00:09:17 thinking about the aaronic priesthood is

00:09:21 ordinances that you can do or a set of

00:09:28 because the aaronic priesthood is the
00:09:30 arm of the Lord

00:10:20 Joseph Smith restored priesthood they
00:10:22 would never leave and when you tie that
00:10:26 with Malachi 4

00:10:29 Joseph Smith is the Elijah uh well if
00:10:34 yeah if it wasn’t for calling repentance
00:10:37 AKA bringing people back to the law
00:10:39 everyone would be destroyed right so
00:10:43 Joseph Smith what the Joseph Smith was
00:10:45 the Elijah yeah and oh fact let me say
00:10:50 one other thing we can then I can bring
00:10:51 out something about that that I uh made
00:10:53 a connection on recently but
00:10:57 um
00:10:58 so on the priesthood
00:11:01 it’s interesting with the Ben bringing
00:11:03 out uh how the aaronic is the arms and
00:11:07 the hands you’ll see how you’re going to
00:11:09 priesthood or
00:11:12 ordained or given that priesthood by
00:11:14 using the arms and the hands right and
00:11:16 they’re they’re the ones that are out
00:11:17 going out and doing things which is the
00:11:19 symbolism of the hand where the
00:11:21 Melchizedek priesthood uh is given by
00:11:24 yahweh’s own voice but since we’re
00:11:28 since I’m talking about it more let’s
00:11:31 actually show that real quick

00:11:40 I do believe Joseph Smith did say
00:11:43 something to the fact that all
00:11:44 priesthood is Melchizedek yeah that’s
00:11:48 appendage and that’s in the DNC I think
00:11:51 it’s 107 but I’m weak in the DNC

00:11:55 though that sounds about right
00:11:58 okay but anyways

00:12:02 all prophets had the Melchizedek
00:12:05 priesthood and were ordained by Elohim
00:12:08 himself Joseph Smith

00:12:18 Melchizedek was a man of Faith who
00:12:19 wrought righteousness and when a child
00:12:21 he feared Elohim and stopped the mouths
00:12:23 of lions and quenched
00:12:25 the violence of fire and thus oh man
00:12:28 this is loaded but I
00:12:31 and thus having being approved of Elum
00:12:34 he was ordained a high priest after the
00:12:36 order of the Covenant which Elohim made
00:12:38 with Enoch and it being after the order
00:12:41 of the son of Elohim which order came
00:12:44 not not by man
00:12:46 nor the will of man neither the father
00:12:48 nor mother neither beginning of days nor
00:12:51 end of years but of Elohim and it was
00:12:54 delivered unto Men by The Calling of his

00:13:04 I think this one down right beneath it

00:13:50 and chosen in the beginning God called
00:13:52 Adam by his own voice and the Lord
00:13:55 called unto Adam and said unto him where

00:13:58 in the garden and I was afraid because I
00:14:00 was naked and did myself Adam received
00:14:03 Commandments and instructions from God
00:14:04 and this was the order from the
00:14:06 beginning it’s all about the voice right
00:14:09 and Adam had the Melchizedek priesthood
00:14:11 he received it from the Lord by his own
00:14:14 voice
00:14:16 right and so as in to get uh
00:14:19 to go along with this
00:14:21 the erotic get it by the laying our
00:14:24 hands because they are the hands hands
00:14:26 are they’re going out and doing it the
00:14:28 Melchizedek priest would get it by

00:15:45 Melchizedek and Seth were alive at the
00:15:48 same time I don’t know if he’s correct
00:15:49 but I thought I don’t believe it’s Seth
00:15:52 but I there’s a lot of interesting ideas
00:15:54 out there about who about who
00:15:56 Melchizedek is so I yeah I’ve heard all

00:16:29 Book of Mormon the DNC that’s not

00:16:35 bringing out that how the priesthood is
00:16:37 without beginning in days and that we
00:16:40 don’t know his personal genealogy

00:17:30 so uh I was thinking about that this
00:17:33 week and considering that Joseph Smith
00:17:36 is an Elijah I find it interesting that
00:17:40 birds symbolize angels and Brad
00:17:43 represents the word and Joseph Smith had
00:17:48 many angels come and give him yahweh’s
00:17:52 word
00:17:57 and so I see
00:17:59 them uh figuring the other one’s the
00:18:03 type of the other
00:18:04 that Elijah had Birds which represents
00:18:08 Angels bringing him bread which
00:18:10 represents the word Joseph Smith had
00:18:13 Angels

00:19:00 repeat of Genesis and Moses right

00:22:32 three hours I mean because of it’s based
00:22:37 off the sunrise and sunset it doesn’t
00:22:39 exactly go with our our today’s hours
00:22:43 right because they were
00:22:45 or malleable back then but
00:22:48 um there’s four night watches there’s
00:22:52 evening
00:22:55 um midnight
00:22:58 Croc crowing
00:23:00 hot groin and morning
00:23:04 which is sometimes Dawn Dawn has has
00:23:06 been translated multiple ways Dawn or
00:23:09 morning okay and that causes confusion
00:23:12 in multiple places even just to the fact
00:23:14 that it’s sometimes translated morning
00:23:16 confuses people because they think it’s
00:23:18 the next day rather than the previous
00:23:20 day but anyways there’s a little tidbit

00:25:16 This Night Watch lasted until the time
00:25:19 when the began to Crow
00:25:21 and morning the 9th to 12th hour today

00:25:30 one night lasted 12 hours for Jews and
00:25:31 Romans the Jews began to count the hours
00:25:34 and calendar days after Sunset but the
00:25:36 Romans did
00:25:38 that part I disagree with about when
00:25:40 they start the day and which we’re
00:25:42 actually starting to get into though but
00:25:44 the main point here
00:25:46 um is the four uh night watches in
00:25:51 particular their names okay
00:25:55 um
00:25:55 so here it mentions them again evening
00:25:58 midnight crowing morning okay uh
00:26:03 and it does it again here evening
00:26:04 midnight caught crying morning I I don’t
00:26:07 know why I did it again so close

00:26:19 where sometimes translations do Dawn for
00:26:23 the fourth one and sometimes it’s

00:26:37 I think though first of all we’ve
00:26:39 established
00:26:40 the four night watches right

00:26:47 Dawn and sometimes morning and I think
00:26:50 that more has to do with translation
00:26:51 issues than anything but I haven’t
00:26:53 looked deep into that I don’t know if
00:26:55 Ben’s looked into that deeper no um uh
00:26:59 I’ve had other things no I I think it’s
00:27:01 just translation because I I’ve I’ve
00:27:04 I’ve I’ve looked into the word Dawn in
00:27:06 other contexts uh in
00:27:09 um finding support for the day starts at
00:27:11 sunrise
00:27:12 and sometimes Dawn and morning are Miss
00:27:17 are translated from the same word in the
00:27:19 Hebrew I haven’t looked into it in the
00:27:22 Greek but I have looked it into it with
00:27:25 the Hebrew so all right so as we go into
00:27:28 the now the main thing that uh we the
00:27:33 main thing that we need to realize
00:27:36 is that Abraham the book of Abraham is a
00:27:39 revelation yeah I went from y’all went
00:27:41 to Abraham book of Moses and uh Genesis
00:27:44 is a revelation
00:27:46 of the history of the world Moses uh
00:27:49 Yahweh is not going to show something
00:27:51 drastically different to Abraham went to
00:27:56 Moses
00:27:58 right they’re they’re teaching the same
00:28:00 thing
00:28:02 they may say it a little different in
00:28:05 fact I do think the key point that I
00:28:07 want to bring out here is and actually
00:28:09 in both of them
00:28:11 um I know it a little better in Genesis
00:28:12 so I’ll show it here first and then we
00:28:14 can go look at it in Abraham but so
00:28:18 starting here
00:28:20 he does his work right and here it
00:28:22 actually
00:28:23 he’s bringing out light which to me
00:28:25 sounds I mean this is not necessarily
00:28:28 it’s Sunrise but it can kind of imply
00:28:32 that some but he does his work right

00:28:38 he says after doing his work then he
00:28:42 lists the first night watch and then
00:28:46 last list the last night watch and then
00:28:50 calls all of that a day
00:28:53 so let’s go to the book of Abraham right
00:28:57 right let’s go look at Abraham and I bet
00:28:59 we’ll see this exact same thing so
00:29:01 that’s going to be okay so here we have

00:29:05 three and four we have the gods doing

00:30:21 day
00:30:22 if anything the most that could be is 12
00:30:25 hours

00:30:32 but I know most of the Hebrew rooters

00:30:38 because they’re pushing their false
00:30:39 Traditions we’ll use this and they’ll
00:30:42 take this out of context and say that
00:30:44 this proves that the days starts at
00:30:47 Sunset it doesn’t it really doesn’t
00:30:49 because evening to morning the most you
00:30:52 can get out of that is 12 hours is
00:30:54 that’s not a full day okay so where did

00:34:20 time they use the Sundial to determine
00:34:23 the hours of the day
00:34:25 and Sundial does not work until sunset
00:34:29 sunset is when sundials actually start
00:34:31 working and
00:34:34 sunset sunrise sorry I said this wrong
00:34:36 thing sorry Sunrise yeah
00:34:40 I I I I I I’m thinking one thing and I

00:34:46 um I have stayed up all night to watch
00:34:49 this actually multiple times

00:34:52 sundials don’t work until sunrise
00:34:56 they don’t work with the dispersed
00:34:59 sunlight
00:35:01 um that’s there around everywhere until
00:35:04 sunrise because they get the shadow you
00:35:07 need direct sunlight which starts at
00:35:09 sunrise
00:35:12 so but anyway I I have uh stuff on
00:35:17 sundials I also need to do a resource
00:35:19 page on but I I yeah yeah Sundowns are a
00:35:23 Fairly reliable way of our Fairly
00:35:25 reliable way of tracing the day
00:35:27 but uh they don’t work at night
00:35:31 right and that’s why they have the four
00:35:32 watches
00:35:34 um and there’s various debates on how
00:35:36 that worked
00:35:38 um I am not confident how you can
00:35:42 to get an even
00:35:44 three hour watches at night
00:35:47 um some people talk about how they used
00:35:50 candles
00:35:51 um because candles actually have a
00:35:53 fairly consistent burn rate but with the
00:35:56 watches not always being consistent it
00:35:59 you know it’s an imperfect science and
00:36:01 some people say they use the stars but
00:36:04 the stars are always changing
00:36:06 um in our Horizon so I I don’t see how
00:36:08 you can delete them I honestly have a
00:36:11 hard time believing that they were
00:36:12 actually full three-hour watches for the
00:36:15 simple reason that there’s less time the
00:36:18 sun is down for less time but it is up
00:36:21 well it depends on the season
00:36:26 well and I guess your location but uh
00:36:29 all right your location in season but
00:36:32 um well if you’re in the Mediterranean
00:36:33 area and you’re in the you’re within the
00:36:35 Tropic lines there are no Seasons except
00:36:38 wet and dry well okay but uh my season I
00:36:42 I met more the the four periods of years
00:36:45 um yeah
00:36:48 um because if you you look at my app and
00:36:52 I’ve done graphs on this I don’t have
00:36:54 anything con uh
00:36:57 uh available real quick to show you
00:36:59 unless you want me to do it but the the
00:37:02 cycle that the Sun
00:37:04 is it’s the most in the summer and least
00:37:07 in the winter and in the winter you’ll
00:37:09 get less than 12 hours

00:37:15 uh I haven’t specifically looked at the
00:37:18 equator I’ve more looked at our our more
00:37:21 general area oh okay okay

00:38:11 places like uh green or like Norway uh

00:38:21 of New Zealand

00:38:28 the winter months the days are very very
00:38:30 very very short
00:38:32 sometimes not even an hour
00:38:34 yeah yeah just not as Extreme as at the
00:38:37 polls it can get right so yeah um

00:38:42 but uh and another one

00:38:46 uh this is a good one here’s two Bible

00:41:09 their idea they just go off a false or
00:41:11 you know bad translation now that that
00:41:13 is there but I think in a lot of cases
00:41:15 they’re just being lazy about it okay

00:41:18 that’s not the case there are bad
00:41:21 translations
00:41:22 it totally blows me away
00:41:25 when before I was LDS as a Protestant
00:41:30 a few people read the lessons before the
00:41:33 lesson but just a few
00:41:36 and mostly they just came to church and
00:41:39 learned what they learned at church and
00:41:40 then they went home and maybe they read
00:41:42 a few other verses during the week
00:41:45 or you know maybe they even had a
00:41:48 regular scripture study where they read
00:41:51 oh
00:41:52 a half a chapter a day but very few of
00:41:56 them actually did that
00:41:58 or they do it for a couple months and
00:42:00 then and then they’d stop and then
00:42:02 they’d do it for a couple butts and then
00:42:03 they’d stop yeah sure they may do it
00:42:06 so when I joined the church and it was
00:42:10 just the same way I you know I thought
00:42:12 that Mormons
00:42:14 had a you know had committed to actually
00:42:17 read the scriptures every day
00:42:19 well and
00:42:21 and to study the lessons and we were
00:42:24 told in Relief Society that if you
00:42:26 actually read and prepared for the
00:42:27 lesson and and did your Relief Society
00:42:30 lessons that 10 years of Relief Society
00:42:33 was the same as a full degree
00:42:35 of college
00:42:38 and
00:42:39 um
00:42:40 you know I thought people did that and
00:42:43 they don’t they don’t anymore I I from
00:42:46 what I’ve gathered is they used to in
00:42:48 the old days
00:42:50 uh but that was apparently that
00:42:52 definitely was before my time and it
00:42:54 sounds like well if they had they
00:42:55 wouldn’t have been so falsely persuaded
00:42:58 by
00:42:59 Brigham by by yeah that’s a good point
00:43:04 that’s a good point yeah
00:43:07 actually read their scriptures
00:43:10 we wouldn’t even be talking about
00:43:12 section 132 right now uh uh yeah you
00:43:16 know though there were bringing my
00:43:18 dissenters that left when they found

00:43:22 there were some that were actually
00:43:24 reading and studying and left uh and
00:43:27 Brigham Young was not nice to them and
00:43:29 I’ll just leave it at that okay

00:43:36 they used to do it more than they do now
00:43:38 maybe that’s a better way of putting it
00:43:41 well maybe there were a larger number of
00:43:43 them that did then that they do now uh

00:43:50 thing is is that even when there were
00:43:53 more people who studied
00:43:55 they studied
00:43:57 with the same conclusions in mind
00:44:03 right yeah yeah they were married with
00:44:06 pre-fed conclusion they did a lot of
00:44:08 proof texting where they’re reading
00:44:10 their ideas into the text rather than
00:44:11 what they’re they studied from the same
00:44:14 pre-fed conclusions and so they always
00:44:17 this is something that I had a problem
00:44:19 that I had a problem with for the
00:44:21 longest time you studied with the same
00:44:23 prefect conclusions you’re going to come
00:44:25 up with the same answers
00:44:28 imagine that
00:44:30 and so you know and so you start
00:44:33 thinking yourself really smart and
00:44:35 scripture learned and all you’ve really
00:44:37 learned is the same answers that they
00:44:39 want you to know
00:44:43 yeah yeah
00:44:44 um but I do think it’s gotten worse
00:44:46 through time than what it was before so
00:44:49 I don’t think I don’t think so uh okay

00:45:58 Christ and that’s our sin that becomes

00:47:08 there is such a thing as
00:47:11 um there is such a thing as bad
00:47:13 translation
00:47:14 and God in order to correct some of
00:47:17 these bad translations
00:47:19 uh had Joseph Smith give us an inspired
00:47:23 version of the Bible
00:47:25 right and that’s where we see the Bold
00:47:27 as a big one and yeah when you when
00:47:30 we’re reading in this particular version
00:47:32 of it the Bold is the inspired
00:47:35 translation
00:47:37 and the cross anything that’s crossed
00:47:39 out of stuff that was replaced
00:47:42 or removed by for the for the sake of
00:47:47 the inspired translation
00:47:49 so
00:47:51 here there’s a really big thing that
00:47:53 actually kind of really uh throws the
00:47:57 emphasis back on the stuff that’s
00:47:59 earlier in the chapter that we’re
00:48:01 talking about so wait first let me read
00:48:04 that verse please I’m sorry sorry thank
00:48:06 you foreign
00:48:10 shall not have dominion over you for you
00:48:13 are not under the law but under grace so
00:48:16 there’s some so it’s in so doing sin
00:48:19 shall not have dominion over you because
00:48:23 some doing something is going to put us
00:48:26 not under the law under the law but
00:48:28 under grace right what is that something
00:48:30 just to add with that I do think just a
00:48:32 simple reading of this especially with
00:48:33 the uh inspired version here this is
00:48:37 leading that it’s pointing to something
00:48:39 that was just stated right and so doing
00:48:42 yeah so let’s go back and find out what
00:48:46 it is so we should be so doing
00:48:49 okay okay
00:48:50 and this is and it’s all stuff from the
00:48:52 from up here
00:48:54 neither yield you your members as
00:48:56 instruments of unrighteousness Unto sin

00:49:01 clear you’re reading verse 13. yes verse
00:49:05 13 neither yield ye or members as
00:49:07 instruments of unrighteousness under sin
00:49:09 but yield yourselves unto God as those
00:49:12 that are alive from the dead and your
00:49:14 members as instruments of righteousness
00:49:16 unto God okay so this is one of the
00:49:19 things we need to yield ourselves unto
00:49:20 God so what does that mean let’s go up
00:49:23 let’s go up to uh chapter to verse one
00:49:26 here okay well real quick I do want to I
00:49:29 I think the focus that’s in 13 that’s
00:49:32 being
00:49:33 um referred to in verse 14 is yielding
00:49:37 yourself unto Yahweh I mean Elohim
00:49:40 and that your instruments of
00:49:42 righteousness unto Elohim okay that’s
00:49:45 right so what does this mean let’s go
00:49:48 back up
00:49:49 and is it what does this choice mean
00:49:52 here they either be instruments of
00:49:55 unrighteousness or instruments of
00:49:57 righteousness what shall verse one
00:49:59 chapter six
00:50:01 what shall we say then shall we continue
00:50:04 in sin that Grace May abound
00:50:07 God forbid I I want to kind of put a
00:50:11 little emphasis on that
00:50:12 Paul is saying here
00:50:15 we shouldn’t continue in sin and
00:50:19 actually Elohim forbids that
00:50:23 yep Elohim for bids that we continue to
00:50:27 sin how how shall we that are dead to
00:50:30 sin live any longer therein so in order
00:50:33 to be dead to sin you have to be
00:50:35 baptized you have to be reborn a new
00:50:37 person without you not a person with no
00:50:40 excuses but a new person doing new
00:50:43 things following in the ways of Yahweh
00:50:46 because that’s what you probably that’s
00:50:49 the your baptism is a witness of a
00:50:51 covenant previously made you will obey
00:50:53 all of gilby’s Commandments yeah so I I
00:50:56 think it’s important to bring out that
00:50:58 being dead to something is saying that
00:51:00 you’re having no part in it anymore
00:51:02 that’s right debt to sin just means that
00:51:05 you’re not sinning anymore
00:51:08 by the way
00:51:10 this is a clear admission that that’s
00:51:12 possible
00:51:13 yes it is
00:51:16 so it actually goes how Yeshua commands
00:51:19 us to do that right to be perfect right
00:51:21 so the point is
00:51:23 the point is is that all of the uh
00:51:29 all of the new tests all the New
00:51:32 Testament Apostles knew that it was
00:51:33 possible
00:51:36 to repent
00:51:37 and cease from sin so did Joseph Smith
00:51:41 boxers on faith five right but we can
00:51:44 look at that later if we want because
00:51:45 we’ve done it before but that’s but
00:51:47 that’s it and so this is so what we’re
00:51:49 talking about here
00:51:51 so let’s go back to verse 14. okay
00:51:56 so what is it that we should be in then
00:51:59 that in so doing will cause sin not to
00:52:02 have dominion over
00:52:03 yielding
00:52:05 to the Lord
00:52:07 and obeying the law and obeying the law
00:52:10 because then you’re no longer under the
00:52:12 curse of the law
00:52:14 you’re under grace
00:52:17 that’s clear that’s good yes the uh and
00:52:22 the the facts when when Grace has to be
00:52:25 applied to ours and when Grace has to be
00:52:27 continuously applied to our sins we’re
00:52:29 we’re simply we’re having Mercy extended
00:52:32 to us this is why Elma refers to the
00:52:35 Forgiveness of sins is Mercy it doesn’t
00:52:37 he never once refers to his grace he
00:52:39 refers to its Mercy
00:52:42 um and so when we’re under grace it’s
00:52:45 because we’ve moved out of that place
00:52:49 where we are we’ve moved out of that
00:52:51 place where we are sinning
00:52:55 which is uh the baptism of the Holy
00:53:00 Spirit which is of course not to say
00:53:02 that we have never sinned
00:53:04 oh yeah that we are not now sitting yeah
00:53:07 there is a difference of of never sinned
00:53:11 because there’s only one that’s never
00:53:12 sinned and that’s Yeshua right but that
00:53:14 we are not now sitting and this is a
00:53:18 place that any one of us can get to
00:53:21 um that we know when we’re born and we
00:53:25 can get that and the primary thing
00:53:28 that’s uh important it’s important for
00:53:30 getting there is to be more interested
00:53:33 to know Yeshua
00:53:36 than to know your sins
00:53:38 right in fact

01:00:41 to see how that Insight interacts with
01:00:44 the rest of the work

01:08:50 and uh and his kind and that’s the
01:08:53 Commandment
01:08:58 specifically stated in the tenth
01:09:00 commandment right right and is not
01:09:03 puffed up

01:09:08 going off and helping others right
01:09:10 taking care of the poor seeing others as
01:09:13 yourself right right exactly imagine is
01:09:17 not easily provoked Amendment
01:09:21 and rejoiceth not an iniquity but

01:09:28 this is where this rejoiceth not an
01:09:31 iniquity and that’s where the Justice

01:11:01 because it’s an explanation how to keep
01:11:03 Torah but anyways
01:11:05 but verse 21 not everyone that’s saith
01:11:08 unto me Yahweh Yahweh shall enter into
01:11:12 the kingdom of heaven but he that doeth
01:11:16 the will of My Father which is in heaven
01:11:19 which is Torah
01:11:21 and so the main thing oh maybe I’ll
01:11:23 finish reading here many will say unto
01:11:25 me day Yaya Yahweh Yahweh have we not
01:11:29 prophesied in thy name and in thy name
01:11:32 have cast out devils and in thy name
01:11:34 done wonderful works
01:11:37 and then I will profess on them I never
01:11:39 knew you depart from me that work
01:11:43 iniquity now I do know there’s a jst in
01:11:45 that verse but
01:11:47 um I’m not too worried about it because
01:11:49 there’s even a book of Mormon verse that
01:11:51 even but specifically says it this way
01:11:53 and we can look at that in a minute but
01:11:55 that’s a Sidetrack
01:11:57 um but the main important thing is here
01:11:59 is what’s needed to go to heaven in
01:12:02 Moroni 7 is charity
01:12:05 here in Matthew 7 it’s keeping his
01:12:08 Commandments and there’s no
01:12:10 contradiction because as we uh learned
01:12:13 just just a little bit ago that charity
01:12:16 in Hebrew means righteousness which
01:12:19 which is another word saying of keeping
01:12:22 his Commandments his Torah
01:12:27 when she stated himself again quite
01:12:29 eloquently in John 14 15. very few words
01:12:32 very few words right and then
01:12:36 um here let’s put it in another way
01:12:39 let’s I know we’ve done this before but
01:12:42 it’s always good to review and make new
01:12:45 connections

01:13:54 keeping the law

01:19:07 one that does the most is Moses but
01:19:10 that’s a whole other subject but the
01:19:12 prophets do typify of the Messiah okay

01:19:18 not only in the word but in their deed

01:19:25 prophesy against the false prophets of
01:19:27 Israel that prophesy and say unto them
01:19:31 that prophesy falsely out of their own

01:19:38 what it does say here is it’s against
01:19:41 the prophets of Israel the prophesied
01:19:42 they prophesy out of their own Arts here
01:19:44 you the word of the Lord
01:19:46 okay so this is Yahweh commanding

01:19:56 the prophets who prophesy according to
01:19:58 their own Hearts but that say that it’s
01:20:01 the word of the Lord but that it is not
01:20:03 the word of the Lord because it does in
01:20:06 no way in agreement with the word of the
01:20:08 Lord
01:20:08 right and uh I’ll just bring out how we
01:20:12 did do one called someone out just
01:20:15 recently

01:20:22 um yo here’s Yahweh commanding someone

01:20:40 Covenant curse upon these people yeah it
01:20:43 is and it’s bringing out how
01:20:45 they’re just saying whatever they want
01:20:47 out of their own hearts and nothing that
01:20:50 Yahweh gave them himself right o Israel
01:20:53 thy prophets are like foxes in the
01:20:56 desert
01:20:57 and yes this does apply to what people
01:21:00 in suits who sit on cushion chairs in
01:21:03 high places
01:21:04 oh I mean there’s a lot of other
01:21:06 versions just in the New Testament how
01:21:08 Yeshua brought out how the false
01:21:10 prophets seek
01:21:12 the preferred seats right but
01:21:16 you have not gone into the gaps
01:21:18 oh you have not gone into the gaps now
01:21:22 they made up the Hedge for the house of
01:21:23 Israel to stand in the battle in the day
01:21:25 of the Lord these people
01:21:27 these people will not stand
01:21:31 in defense of the people of the Lord
01:21:33 they will not stand in defense of the
01:21:35 law they will not build up the edge they
01:21:38 will not build the Tower
01:21:40 this is going how they’re they’re not
01:21:42 building up defenses and nor have they
01:21:44 gone into
01:21:45 The Trenches to help the people right no
01:21:48 they’re they’re sitting they’re sitting
01:21:50 back claiming uh they’re sitting back

01:21:55 um a Divine mandate which they have not

01:23:54 Choice he said in the servants going
01:23:55 into my Vineyard even upon this very
01:23:57 choice piece of land and plant 12 olive
01:23:59 trees instead of Watchmen round about
01:24:01 them and build a tower but one may
01:24:03 Overlook the land round about to be a
01:24:06 Watchman upon the top you see this is
01:24:07 what he’s telling the these false
01:24:09 prophets are not doing
01:24:12 and set Watchmen round about them and
01:24:14 build a tower that one may Overlook the
01:24:16 land round about to be a Watchman upon
01:24:18 the power that mine olive trees may not
01:24:21 be broken down when the enemies shall
01:24:22 come to spoil and take upon themselves
01:24:24 the fruits of the fruit of my Vineyard
01:24:27 now the Servants of the nobleman went
01:24:29 and did as their Lord commanded them and
01:24:31 and planted the olive trees and built
01:24:34 the Hedge and set Watchmen began to
01:24:36 build a tower
01:24:38 oh wait a minute
01:24:40 what happened
01:24:42 and while they were yet laying the
01:24:44 foundation thereof they began to say
01:24:45 among themselves and what need hath my
01:24:48 lord of this Tower
01:24:50 they began to question
01:24:52 this instructions right they didn’t
01:24:55 believe they didn’t Shema Listen and
01:24:58 Obey say yes or maybe maybe even more
01:25:02 specifically here a better example is a
01:25:04 dirt to the end right because they
01:25:07 started but they didn’t keep it and he
01:25:09 consulted for a long time saying among
01:25:11 themselves what need hath my lord of
01:25:13 this Tower seed this is a time of peace
01:25:15 might not this money be given to the
01:25:17 exchangers for there is no need of these
01:25:20 things
01:25:21 and while they were at variance one with
01:25:22 another they became very slothful
01:25:25 and they hearkened not under the
01:25:27 Commandments of their lord
01:25:28 and the enemy came by nut and broke down
01:25:31 the hitch so I do want to bring out this
01:25:35 night
01:25:36 um probably that’s going to connect to
01:25:39 midnight right midnight has a very
01:25:41 difficult meaning to the second coming
01:25:44 uh in addition right but anyways
01:25:47 and so and so while this Parable was
01:25:52 in some measure fulfilled at the time of
01:25:54 Joseph Smith it’s still applicable today
01:25:57 oh there is there’s teachings none of it
01:26:00 that are still applicable yes I’m broke
01:26:02 down the Hedge and the Servants of the
01:26:05 noblemen arose and were afraided
01:26:07 and they did
01:26:10 what the Lord
01:26:12 has Ezekiel called the false prophets
01:26:15 out for
01:26:17 they fled
01:26:19 they didn’t stand in the gap
01:26:21 they didn’t rebuild the hitch they fled

01:26:28 which is what I I see after yeshua’s
01:26:32 death even and uh as stated even in
01:26:36 Joseph Smith’s last dream when you you

01:28:21 commanded to be stoned
01:28:23 correct just like false prophets because
01:28:25 they’re doing basically the same thing
01:28:27 yeah the Lord said the Lord hath not
01:28:30 sent them they have made
01:28:33 other and they have made others to hope
01:28:35 that they would confirm the work
01:28:38 have ye not seen a vain vision
01:28:41 have you not spoken a lion divination
01:28:43 whereas he say the Lord’s that the Lord
01:28:46 saith albeit I have not spoken
01:28:50 therefore as I said
01:28:54 because you have spoken bad and seen
01:28:57 lies therefore behold I am against you
01:29:02 saith the Lord God just like the Lord
01:29:06 God was against our ancestors when they
01:29:10 went out to the Salt Lake Valley

01:30:37 um so Sermon on the Mount uh Yahweh
01:30:42 and I’m fine with that perhaps they got

01:30:48 um if you think because you got uh
01:30:52 a blessing means you’re um righteous
01:30:55 you don’t understand Sermon on the Mount
01:30:58 where Yeshua states that he will bless
01:31:01 even the wicked so here’s a post where I
01:31:04 actually talk about it testimony and
01:31:06 blessings but here’s a little quick
01:31:08 summary from my copy page
01:31:10 and Yahweh is blessing people who are
01:31:14 not keeping his Commandments aka the
01:31:17 unjust how can we say blessings we
01:31:20 receive from Yahweh are a witness that
01:31:22 we are keeping his Commandments
01:31:25 right because uh pretty much everybody
01:31:28 out there
01:31:30 um states that because they’re receiving
01:31:33 a blessing they they that is proof that
01:31:36 they’re keeping the Commandments but you
01:31:39 know and that’s the interesting thing is
01:31:42 is that’s the that is the um one of the
01:31:48 that’s one of the things that I’ve run
01:31:50 into a lot dealing with restorationists
01:31:53 is well Joseph Smith didn’t do all these
01:31:56 things and he worshiped on Sunday and he
01:31:59 received all this this this and this
01:32:03 well that’s nice well what about this
01:32:09 restore everything right right but also
01:32:12 I have a post on that blessings are not
01:32:15 connected
01:32:17 the basic blessings are not connected
01:32:20 with keeping the Commandments
01:32:24 I mean Yahweh will bless us yeah Yahweh
01:32:27 will bless us when we keep his
01:32:29 Commandments but
01:32:31 he will also he also blesses people who
01:32:34 aren’t keeping his Commandments right
01:32:36 and that’s from sermon the blessings in
01:32:38 and of themselves are unless they’re a
01:32:41 blessing of sanctification in which case
01:32:44 that is a sign that one is keeping the
01:32:47 Commandments but if it’s a blessing of
01:32:50 material things or uh Comforts of life
01:32:56 that’s
01:32:57 that doesn’t mean anything that sun that
01:33:00 Sun Shines on the just in the
01:33:02 unjustified right right I mean that’s
01:33:04 from somewhere else and also I just want
01:33:06 to bring out
01:33:08 um Satan is more prone to give blessings
01:33:11 of money than Yahweh is right
01:33:16 um because I I mean if you think because
01:33:19 you have money you must be righteous
01:33:21 what about all these uh very wicked men
01:33:24 who almost own a very high percentage of
01:33:30 all the money on Earth
01:33:31 right are they more righteous than you
01:33:35 like it must be must be if that’s what
01:33:38 your logic is which is faulty logic
01:33:41 but anyways but so when it comes to just
01:33:45 physical
01:33:46 uh Comforts of Life blessings
01:33:51 that getting those doesn’t mean that
01:33:53 you’re righteous right well the one
01:33:55 thing that Yahweh Yahweh doesn’t promise
01:33:58 riches he promises Prosperity meaning to
01:34:02 be able to take care of your needs not
01:34:04 riches right well
01:34:08 that is your needs
01:34:10 and your righteous wants
01:34:13 right right because we we are allowed to
01:34:16 have more than just our needs
01:34:18 um that’s even connected to tithing and
01:34:20 giving to the poor but yeah but that’s
01:34:23 uh but but the key to that is righteous
01:34:25 ones and how do we know that it’s
01:34:27 righteous because it’s something that’s
01:34:29 getting and it’s something that’s
01:34:30 promised to us in the mind and will of
01:34:32 your way
01:34:33 correct
01:34:36 um but just because we’re getting the
01:34:37 main point here is that just because
01:34:39 you’re getting blessings doesn’t mean
01:34:41 you’re righteous or keeping his law
01:34:43 because He blesses even the unrighteous
01:34:46 yes
01:34:52 so do we need to go back to Ezekiel or
01:34:54 13 or do you think we’ve covered that
01:34:57 pretty well I think we’ve I think we’ve
01:34:59 done a good job of covering that and we
01:35:01 tied it in the doctrine covenants
01:35:02 section 101 which
01:35:05 while
01:35:07 you know which actually follows in the
01:35:10 same
01:35:11 uh
01:35:13 prophetic pattern of the Lord of all of
01:35:16 yahweh’s Parables and that it has been
01:35:20 fulfilled and will be fulfilled again
01:35:24 um well I think in DNC 101 I I don’t
01:35:27 believe it’ll be filled again but the
01:35:29 principles that are in it are still
01:35:31 applicable right
01:35:34 um but so let me pause for a minute
01:35:39 so Stephen and I were actually just
01:35:42 discussing
01:35:43 um
01:35:45 we were discussing stuff and that we
01:35:48 were discussing things about how there’s
01:35:51 few there the few there are who will
01:35:54 find a way and um I yeah well in
01:35:59 addition maybe I’ll just add a little
01:36:00 more we were talking about the different
01:36:03 um
01:36:03 degrees of glory and I kind of mentioned
01:36:06 how
01:36:08 um one that I do believe the tea
01:36:12 leicesterone terrestrial those two are
01:36:14 going to have the most people and also I
01:36:17 think even earlier in the recording I
01:36:18 mentioned how
01:36:20 um one thing that’s kind of helped me
01:36:22 and some of my
01:36:24 struggles is that Yahweh has stated
01:36:28 actually or Yeshua in the New Testament
01:36:30 it’ll be few that find the way right so
01:36:33 yeah the question is and the question
01:36:36 was is uh how many the question of like
01:36:41 how how that applied
01:36:44 what are the actual percentages right
01:36:46 it’s the actual percentages and I
01:36:48 brought up the analogy of all the people
01:36:51 who play who play football over the
01:36:53 course of their lives only 10 percent
01:36:54 ever play in the NFL and uh and he and
01:36:58 we
01:37:00 he was wondering if the Stephen was
01:37:03 wondering if the 10 percent was actually
01:37:06 um
01:37:09 it was actually applicable in terms of
01:37:12 the celestial glory and I was like well
01:37:14 it actually might be and uh so here and
01:37:17 this let and this letter is still
01:37:19 looking at Isaiah chapter six in the um
01:37:22 in the uh the inspired version of the of
01:37:26 the Bible
01:37:27 and uh so I’m gonna start
01:37:31 at uh Isaiah’s call
01:37:35 in verse 8.
01:37:37 okay also I heard the voice of the Lord
01:37:40 saying whom shall I send and who will go
01:37:43 for us then said I here am I
01:37:46 sent me
01:37:48 something really important there Isaiah
01:37:52 volunteered he pulled the Lord I’m here
01:37:55 send me on your mission right and and
01:37:58 just uh and the the pattern of the three
01:38:01 that’s what uh Yeshua said up in heaven
01:38:05 too right yes this is actually yes this
01:38:08 is actually the same words uh Yeshua the
01:38:11 Yeshua the Yeshua said
01:38:14 um in the pre-existent in the in the pre
01:38:17 in the pre-existence might I interject
01:38:20 something this is also another reason
01:38:22 why people uh some people get it
01:38:26 confused that this is actually
01:38:28 potentially the Savior talking right
01:38:31 here there but this is Isaiah this is
01:38:34 Isaiah this is Isaiah as a type of a
01:38:37 savior and it also as himself
01:38:40 right voluntary so the mighty instruct
01:38:43 so the Redeemer volunteers for his work
01:38:46 and so does the mighty and strong one
01:38:48 well uh yeah they as we’ve talked about
01:38:52 as Elisha Elisha in this pattern is the
01:38:56 mighty and strong one and he
01:38:59 pestered Elijah for the mantle yes he
01:39:02 did so yeah and so the both the mighty
01:39:06 and strong one and the Redeemer
01:39:10 and the Redeemer figure in each in this
01:39:14 iteration of the pattern yeah volunteer
01:39:18 for their call yeah and he said
01:39:22 and the Lord he Yahweh
01:39:25 said
01:39:26 go and tell these people
01:39:28 hear ye indeed but they understood not
01:39:32 and CE indeed
01:39:34 that they perceived not
01:39:37 when Isaiah went uh called people to
01:39:41 repentance and told them the right way
01:39:43 they didn’t understand and they didn’t
01:39:45 perceive right this is the vast majority
01:39:51 make the heart of this people fat
01:39:53 make their ears heavy and shut their
01:39:56 eyes
01:39:57 lest they see with their eyes and hear
01:39:59 with their ears and understand their
01:40:01 hearts and convert and be healed
01:40:06 so this is this kind of the majority of
01:40:09 the people don’t understand right and
01:40:12 they don’t believe this this call
01:40:15 to teach this call could be the one
01:40:18 Mighty and strong is heartbreaking
01:40:22 you will not be accepted
01:40:26 right which is actually stated in Isaiah
01:40:29 52 as we’ve gone over before especially
01:40:31 in the Greek it brings it out more the
01:40:34 Septuagint but anyways
01:40:36 then said I
01:40:40 yummy
01:40:42 how long so this I is Isaiah Isaiah yep
01:40:47 Yahweh how long and this is actually
01:40:50 correlates with
01:40:52 if it be possible
01:40:57 take this stuff from me yeah so this is
01:41:00 uh giving Illusions to his uh pattern in
01:41:03 the three right
01:41:07 and Yahweh said
01:41:09 until the cities be wasted without
01:41:11 inhabit
01:41:13 and the houses without man and the land
01:41:15 be utterly destined
01:41:17 this is a reference to the second coming
01:41:19 all right uh
01:41:21 which uh Isaiah actually uh had some in
01:41:25 his day right but this is also allusion
01:41:28 to what’s going to be happening in the
01:41:29 second coming
01:41:30 yeah
01:41:33 what happened to Jerusalem after the
01:41:36 savior’s death yeah
01:41:39 okay
01:41:41 and the Lord have removed men far away
01:41:44 for there shall be a great forsaking in
01:41:46 the midst of the lamb and brothers and
01:41:49 sisters we are in the middle of that
01:41:51 great forsaking
01:41:53 all mankind has forsaken Yahweh
01:41:57 and his ways
01:42:00 and all mankind
01:42:03 well the majority because there’s there
