Torah in the Millennium

(see Torah, Torah is Light, Torah in the Doctrine and Covenants, Torah in Sermon on the Mount / Torah)

There are a plethora of passages through out ancient and modern scriptures that point out that YHWH Elohim’s Torah is to be observed during the Millennium. Including doing animal sacrifices, part of the 2nd division of Torah, in the Millennium Temple that Yeshua, who is YHWH, will never leave once He enters it. Below is a list of prophetic passages that are dealing with the Millennium in one fashion or another, that are stating that various divions of Torah, more known as the 10 commandments, are to be kept or a curse will be pronounced. Curses are given for committing a sin, not for making a mistake. While looking at the listed passages below, you will begin to understand how there are sub-commandments under the 10 divisions of Torah.

There is a prophecy in the Book of Mormon about the Brass Plates coming in future generations. The future generations will be during the Latter Days and then the Millennium. Latter Days is when it will be translated and will go to all nations with 144,000. It will continue to be read during the Millennuim and bring people to repentance. Considering that the Brass Plates is basicaly the Old testament / Tanak, it is teaching people to keep Torah. With the Old Testament / Tanak is a record of people repenting which is returning to Yeshua and His ways known as Torah. It would be funny to think the same record would get people to repent a different way than it is a record of how people repented by returning to Yeshua and Torah. The prophecy of the Brass Plates being translated and brought forth to all the world to bring them to repentance is stated in the bold passages which are 1 Nephi (LDS 5:18-19)(RLDS 1:169-171) and Alma (LDS 37:4,14,18,19)(RLDS 17:33,45,49,50). It is imporant to bring out that the “small and simple things” talked about in the Book of Mormon is YHWH’s words that conviences people to be Holy as Yeshua is Holy, showing that the “small and simple things” is Toarh or in other words every word of Yah that is not a perscribed punishment.

1 Nephi (LDS 5:17-20)(RLDS 1:169-172)
A 17 And now when my FATHER saw all these things,
-B he was FILLED WITH THE SPIRIT,
–C and began to PROPHESY concerning his seed—
—D 18 That these PLATES OF BRASS should go forth
—-E unto ALL NATIONS, KINDREDS, TONGUES,
—-E and PEOPLE who were of his seed.
—DA 19 Wherefore, he said that these PLATES OF BRASS should never perish [not go away];
—DB neither should they be dimmed any more by time.

–C And he PROPHESIED many things concerning his seed.
-B 20 And it came to pass that thus far I and my FATHER had KEPT THE COMMANDMENTS
A wherewith the Lord [YHWH] had commanded us.

Alma (LDS 37:1-20) (RLDS 17:31-51)
AAA 01 And now, my son HELAMAN, I COMMAND you that ye take the RECORDS
AAB which have been ENTRUSTED with me;
ABA 02 And I also COMMAND you that ye keep a RECORD of this people,
ABB according as I have done,
-BA upon the [small] plates of Nephi,
-B-B and keep all THESE THINGS SACRED which I have KEPT,
-B–C even as I have KEPT them;
-B—D for it is for a WISE PURPOSE that they are KEPT.
-B—-E 03 And these PLATES OF BRASS,
-B—D which contain these ENGRAVINGS,
-B–C which have the RECORDS of the HOLY SCRIPTURES upon them,
-B-B which have the GENEALOGY of our forefathers,
-BA even from the beginning—
–CA 04 Behold, it has been prophesied by our fathers,
–C-B that they [brass plates] should be KEPT
–C–C and handed down from one generation to another,
–C—D and be KEPT and PRESERVED
–C—D by the hand of the Lord [YHWH]
–C–C until THEY [BRASS PLATES] SHOULD GO FORTH
–C-B UNTO EVERY NATION, KINDRED, TONGUE, AND PEOPLE,
–CA that they shall know of the MYSTERIES contained thereon.
—DA 05 And now behold, if they [brass plates] are KEPT
—D-B they [brass plates] must RETAIN THEIR [BRASS PLATES] BRIGHTNESS [TORAH IS LIGHT];
—D-B yea, and they [brass plates] will RETAIN THEIR [BRASS PLATES] BRIGHTNESS [TORAH IS LIGHT];
—DA yea, and also shall all the PLATES which do contain that which is HOLY WRIT.
—-EAA 06 Now ye may suppose that this is FOOLISHNESS in me;
—-EAB but behold I say unto you,
—-EBA that by SMALL and SIMPLE things
—-EBB are GREAT THINGS BROUHT TO PASS;
—-EBA and SMALL MEANS in many instances
—-EBB doth CONFOUND the WISE.
—–FA 07 And the Lord [YHWH] God [Elohim]
—–FB doth work by means
—–FC to BRING ABOUT HIS GREAT AND ETERNAL PURPOSES;
—-EA and by very SMALL MEANS
—-EB the Lord [YHWH] doth CONFOUND the WISE
—-EC and bringeth about the SALVATION OF MANY SOULS.
—DA 08 And now, it has hitherto been wisdom in God [Elohim]
—D-B that these things [sacred] should be PRESERVED;
—D–C for behold, THEY [BRASS PLATES]
—D—D have ENLARGED THE MEMORY of this people,
—D—-E yea, and CONVINCED many of the ERROR of their WAYS,
—D—–F and brought them to the KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR GOD [ELOHIM]
—D——G unto the salvation of their souls.
—D——-H 09 Yea, I say unto you,
—D——–I were it not for these things [sacred]
—D——–I that these records [brass plates] do contain,
—D——-H which are on these plates [brass plates],
—D——G Ammon and his brethren
—D—–F could not have CONVINCED so many thousands of the Lamanites
—D—-E of the INCORRECT TRADITION of their fathers;
—D—D yea, these records [brass plates]
—D–C and their WORDS BROUGHT THEM UNTO REPENTANCE;
—D-B that is, they brought them to the KNOWLEDGE of the LORD [YHWH] their GOD [ELOHIM],
—DA and to rejoice in Jesus [Yeshua] Christ [Messiah] their Redeemer.
–CA 10 And who knoweth but what THEY [BRASS PLATES]
–C-B WILL BE THE MEANS OF BRINGING MANY THOUSANDS of them,
–C–C yea, and ALSO MANY THOUSANDS of our STIFFNECKED BRETHREN, the Nephites,
–C—D who are now HARDENING THEIR HEARTS
–C—D in sin and iniquities,
–C–C to the knowledge of their Redeemer?
–C-B 11 Now these MYSTERIES are not yet fully made known unto me;
–CA therefore I shall forbear.
-BA 12 And it may suffice if I only say they [brass plates]
-B-B are PRESERVED FOR A WISE PURPOSE,
-B–C which purpose is known unto God [Elohim];
-B–C for He [YHWH] doth counsel in wisdom over all His [YHWH] works,
-B-B and His [YHWH] paths [Torah] are straight,
-BA and His [YHWH] course is ONE ETERNAL ROUND.
AAA 13 O remember, remember,
AA-B my son HELAMAN,
AA–C how STRICT are the COMMANDMENTS [TORAH] of God [Elohim].
AA—D And He [YHWH] said:
AA—-EAA If ye will keep My [YHWH] COMMANDMENTS [TORAH]
AA—-EAB ye shall prosper in the land—
AA—-EBA but if ye keep not His [YHWH] COMMANDMENTS [TORAH]
AA—-EBB ye shall be cut off from His [YHWH] presence.
AA—D 14 And now remember, my son,
AA–C that God [Elohim] has ENTRUSTED you with these things,
AA-B which are SACRED,
AAA which he has KEPT SACRED,
A-BAA and also which he will keep and PRESERVE
A-BAB for a WISE PURPOSE in him,
A-BBA that he may SHOW FORTH HIS POWER [TORAH]
A-BBB UNTO FUTURE GENERATIONS.

A–CAA 15 And now behold, I tell you by the spirit of PROPHECY,
A–CAB that if ye TRANSGRESS the COMMANDMENTS of GOD [Elohim],
A–C-BA behold, THESE THINGS which are SACRED
A–C-BB shall be taken away from you by the POWER OF GOD,
A–C–CA and ye shall be DELIVERED UP UNTO SATAN,
A–C–CB that he may SIFT YOU AS CHAFF BEFORE THE WIND.
A–C—DA 16 But if ye KEEP the COMMANDMENTS of GOD [Elohim],
A–C—DB and do with THESE THINGS which are SACRED
A–C—DA according to that which the Lord [YHWH]
A–C—DB doth command you,
A–C–CA (for you must appeal unto the Lord [YHWH]
A–C–CB for all things whatsoever ye must do with them)
A–C-BA behold, NO POWER OF EARTH OR HELL
A–C-BB can take them from you,
A–CAA for GOD [ELOHIM] IS POWERFUL
A–CAB to the FULFILLING OF ALL HIS [YHWH] WORDS.
A—DAA 17 For HE [YHWH] WILL FULFIL ALL HIS PROMISES
A—DAB WHICH HE SHALL MAKE UNTO YOU,
A—DBA for HE [YHWH] HAS FULFILLED HIS PROMISES
A—DBB WHICH HE HAS MADE UNTO OUR FATHERS.
A–CA 18 For he promised unto them that he would PRESERVE THESE THINGS [SACRED]
A–C-B for a wise purpose in Him [YHWH],
A–C-B that He [YHWH] might SHOW FORTH HIS POWER [TORAH]
A–CA unto FUTURE GENERATIONS.

A-BAA 19 And now behold, one purpose hath he fulfilled,
A-BA-B even to the RESTORATION OF MANY THOUSANDS of the LAMANITES
A-BAA to the KNOWLEDGE OF THE TRUTH;
A-B-B and HE [YHWH] hath SHOWN FORTH HIS POWER IN THEM,
A-B-B and HE [YHWH] will also still SHOW FORTH HIS POWER IN THEM
A-BAA unto FUTURE GENERATIONS;
A-BAB therefore they [brass plates] shall be PRESERVED.

AAA 20 Therefore I command you, my son HELAMAN,
AA-B that ye be DILIGENT in fulfilling all my words,
AA–C and that ye be DILIGENT
AA-B in keeping the COMMANDMENTS [TORAH] of God [Elohim]
AAA AS THEY ARE WRITTEN.

1 Nephi (LDS 5:10-16)(RLDS 1:158-168)
AA 10 And after they had given thanks unto the God [Elohim] of Israel,
A-B my father, Lehi,
A–C took the RECORDS which were engraven
A—D upon the PLATES OF BRASS,
A—-E and he did search them from the beginning.
A—D 11 And he beheld that they did contain the FIVE BOOKS OF MOSES [INCLUDING DEUTERONOMY],
A–C which gave an account of the creation of the world,
A-B and also of Adam and Eve,
AA who were our first parents;
-BAA 12 And also a record of the Jews
-BAB from the beginning,
-BAC even down to the commencement of the reign of ZEDEKIAH, king of Judah;
-BBA 13 And also the PROPHECIES of the HOLY PROPHETS,
-BBB from the beginning,
-BBC even down to the commencement of the reign of ZEDEKIAH;
-BCA and also many PROPHECIES
-BCB which have been spoken
-BCC by the mouth of JEREMIAH.
AAA 14 And it came to pass that my father, LEHI,
AA-B also found upon the plates of brass a GENEALOGY of his fathers;
AA-B wherefore he knew that he was a DESCENDANT OF JOSEPH;
AAA yea, even that JOSEPH who was the son of Jacob, who was sold into Egypt,
A-B and who was PRESERVED by the hand of the LORD,
A-B that he might PRESERVE his father, JACOB,
A-B and all his HOUSEHOLD from perishing with famine.
A–C 15 And they were also led OUT OF CAPTIVITY
A–C and OUT OF the land of EGYPT,
A-B by that same GOD who had PRESERVED THEM.
AAA 16 And thus my father, LEHI,
AA-B did discover the GENEALOGY of his fathers.
AA-B And Laban also was a DESCENDANT OF JOSEPH,
AAA wherefore he and his fathers had kept the records.

1 Nephi (LDS 13:23)(RLDS 3:160-164) 23 And He [YHWH] said: Behold it [book/Bible] proceedeth out of the mouth of a Jew. And I, Nephi, beheld it; and he said unto me: The book [Bible] that thou beholdest is a record of the Jews, which contains the covenants of the Lord, which he hath made unto the house of Israel; and it also containeth many of the prophecies of the holy prophets; and IT [book/Bible] IS A RECORD LIKE UNTO THE ENGRAVINGS WHICH ARE UPON THE PLATES OF BRASS, SAVE THERE NOT SO MANY; nevertheless, they contain the covenants of the Lord, which he hath made unto the house of Israel; wherefore, they are of great worth unto the Gentiles.

Mosiah (LDS 1:3)(RLDS 1:4) 3 And he also taught them concerning the records which were engraven on the plates of brass, saying: My sons, I would that ye should remember that were it not for these [brass] plates, which contain these records and these COMMANDMENTS [TORAH], we must have suffered in ignorance, even at this present time, not knowing the mysteries [character or attribute] of God [Elohim].

Mosiah (LDS 1:4)(RLDS 1:5-6) 4 For it were not possible that our father, Lehi, could have remembered all these things, to have taught them to his [Lehi] children, except it were for the help of these [brass] plates; for he [Lehi] having been taught in the LANGUAGE OF THE EGYPTIANS therefore he [Lehi] could read these engravings [brass plates], and teach them to his children, that thereby they could teach them to their children [2nd Division of Torah], and so fulfilling [keeping] the COMMANDMENTS [TORAH] of God [Elohim], even down to this present time.

    • Joseph Smith Quotes
      • Now the purpose in himself [Yeshua/Jesus] in the winding up scene of the last dispensation is, that all things pertaining to that dispensation should be conducted PRECISELY in accordance with the preceding dispensationS. And again, God purposed in himself that there should not be an eternal fulness, until every dispensation should be fulfilled [taught] and GATHERED TOGETHER IN ONE … therefore he set the ORDINANCES TO BE THE SAME FOR EVER AND EVER …
        … thus we behold the keys of this priesthood consisted in obtaining the voice of Jehovah, that he talked with him [Noah] in a familiar and friendly manner, that he continued to him the keys, the covenants, the power and the glory, with which he blessed Adam at the beginning; and THE OFFERING OF SACRIFICE, WHICH ALSO SHALL BE CONTINUED AT THE LAST TIME; for ALL THE ORDINANCES AND DUTIES that ever have been required by the priesthood, under the directions and commandments of the Almighty in any of the dispensations, SHALL ALL BE HAD IN THE LAST DISPENSATION. Therefore ALL THINGS HAD UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THE PRIESTHOOD AT ANY FORMER PERIOD SHALL BE HAD AGAIN, BRINGING TO PASS THE RESTORATION spoken of by the mouth of all the holy prophets; then shall the sons of Levi offer an acceptable offering to the Lord [YHWH]. ‘And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord’ Malachi 3:3-4 [3 Nephi (LDS 24:3-4) (RLDS 11:6-7)].
        IT IS GENERALLY SUPPOSED THAT SACRIFICE WAS ENTIRELY DONE AWAY WHEN THE GREAT SACRIFICE [Alma (LDS 34:10-15) (RLDS )] [i.e.,] THE SACRIFICE OF THE LORD [YHWH] JESUS [YESHUA] WAS OFFERED UP, AND THAT THERE WILL BE NO NECESSITY FOR THE ORDINANCE OF SACRIFICE IN THE FUTURE; BUT THOSE WHO ASSERT THIS ARE CERTAINLY NOT ACQUAINTED WITH THE DUTIES, PRIVILEGES AND AUTHORITY OF THE PRIESTHOOD, OR WITH THE PROPHETS.
        The OFFERING OF SACRIFICE has ever been connected and forms a part of the duties of the Priesthood. It [offering of sacrifice] began with the Priesthood, and WILL BE CONTINUED UNTIL AFTER THE COMING OF CHRIST [THE MESSIAH] [Adam-ondi-Aham], from generation to generation. We frequently have mention made of the offering of sacrifice by the servants of the Most High in ancient days, PRIOR TO THE LAW OF MOSES, WHICH ORDINANCES WILL BE CONTINUED WHEN THE PRIESTHOOD IS RESTORED WITH ALL IT’S AUTHORITY [Joseph Smith did not restore everything put did got it started], POWER AND BLESSINGS.
        … THESE SACRIFICES, as well as every ordinance belonging to the Priesthood, will, WHEN THE TEMPLE OF THE LORD [YHWH] SHALL BE BUILT [FUTURE], and the sons of Levi be purified, be fully restored and attended to in all their powers, ramifications, and blessings. This ever did and ever will exist when the powers of the Melchizedek Priesthood are sufficiently manifest; else HOW CAN THE RESTITUTION OF ALL THINGS spoken of by the Holy Prophets be brought to pass. IT IS NOT TO BE UNDERSTOOD THAT THE LAW OF MOSES [DAILY PERFORMANCES AND ORDINANCES] WILL BE ESTABLISHED AGAIN with all its rites and variety of ceremonies; this has never been spoken of by the prophets; BUT THOSE THINGS WHICH EXISTED PRIOR TO MOSES’ DAY, namely, SACRIFICE, WILL BE CONTINUED.
        It may be asked by some, what necessity for sacrifice, since the great sacrifice was offered? In answer to which, if repentance, baptism, and faith existed prior to the days of Christ, what necessity for them since that time?
        Joseph Smith, History of the Church Volume 4 pages 211–212, Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith pages 172–173, Doctrines of Salvation Volume 3 page 94, The Words of Joseph Smith pages 38-44
      • It will be necessary here to make a few observations on the doctrine, set forth in the above quotation, As it is generally supposed that Sacrifice was entirely done away when the great sacrifice was offered up—and that there will be no necessity for the ordinance of sacrifice in future, but those who assert this, are certainly not acquainted with the duties, privileges and authority of the priesthood. or with the prophets The offering of Sacrifice has ever been connected and forms a part of the duties of the priesthood. It began with the priesthood and will be continued until after the coming of Christ [the Messiah] [Adam-ondi-Ahman] from generation to generation—We frequently have mention made of the offering of Sacrifice by the servants of the most high in ancient days prior to the law of Moses [carnal commandment].

      • Gospel Ordinances from the Beginning:
        Perhaps our friends will say that the Gospel and its ordinances were not known till the days of John, the son of Zacharias, in the days of Herod, the king of Judea. But we will here look at this point: For our own part we cannot believe that the ancients in all ages were so ignorant of the system of heaven as many suppose, since all that were ever saved, were saved through the power of this great plan of redemption, as much before the coming of Christ as since; if not, God has had different plans in operation (if we may so express it), to bring men back to dwell with Himself; and this we cannot believe, since there has been no change in the constitution of man since he fell; and the ordinance or institution of offering blood in sacrifice, was only designed to be performed till Christ [the Messiah] was offered up and shed His blood—as said before—that man might look forward in faith to that time. It will be noticed that, according to Paul, (see Gal. 3:8) the Gospel was preached to Abraham. We would like to be informed in what name the Gospel was then preached, whether it was in the name of Christ [the Messiah] or some other name. If in any other name, was it the Gospel? And if it was the Gospel, and that preached in the name of Christ [the Messiah], had it any ordinances? If not, was it the Gospel? And if it has ordinances what were they? Our friends may say, perhaps, that there were never any ordinances except those of offering sacrifices before the coming of Christ [the Messiah], and that it could not be possible before the Gospel to have been administered while the law of sacrifices of blood was in force. But we will recollect that Abraham offered sacrifice, and notwithstanding this, had the Gospel preached to him. That the offering of sacrifice was only to point the mind forward to Christ [the Messiah], we infer from these remarkable words of Jesus [Yeshua] to the Jews: “Your Father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad” (John 8:56). So, then, because the ancients offered sacrifice it did not hinder their hearing the Gospel; but served, as we said before, to open their eyes, and enable them to look forward to the time of the coming of the Savior, and rejoice in His redemption. We find also, that when the Israelites came out of Egypt they had the Gospel preached to them, according to Paul in his letter to the Hebrews, which says: “For unto us was the Gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it” (see Hebrews 4:2). It is said again, IN GAL 3:19 THAT THE LAW (OF MOSES, OR THE LEVITICAL LAW) WAS “ADDED” BECAUSE OF TRANSGRESSION. What, we ask, was this law added to, if it was not added to the Gospel? It must be plain that it was added to the Gospel, since we learn that they had the Gospel preached to them. From these few facts, we conclude that whenever the Lord [YHWH] revealed Himself to men in ancient days, and commanded them to offer sacrifice to Him [YHWH], that IT WAS DONE THAT THEY MIGHT LOOK FORWARD IN FAITH TO THE TIME OF HIS COMING, and rely upon the power of that atonement for a remission of their sins. And this they have done, thousands who have gone before us, whose garments are spotless, and who are, like Job, waiting with an assurance like his, that they will see Him in the latter day upon the earth, even in their flesh. We may conclude, that though there were different dispensations, yet all things which God [Elohim] communicated to His people were calculated to draw their minds to the great object, and to teach them to rely upon God [Elohim] alone as the author of their salvation, as contained in His law [Torah].
