I just got Joseph Smith’s New Translation Of The Bible: Original Manuscripts a couple days ago, and just finished one of the introductions/essays to it and here are two things I’d like to share that I learned from it.
1) JS said it was done on 02 July 1833 and tried to raise money for it’s printing.
2) JS did some modernizing of words such as thee and thou to you. Which I find very interesting as I was taught in the LDS church we should use thee and thou while praying, but here is JS changing those to you.
