00:02:28 idea of the sabbath being any other day

00:02:41 that i really needed to look into this
00:02:45 but i actually needed to get educated

00:03:01 certain terms that i needed to get
00:03:02 educated about the law

00:03:15 as i studied the scriptures i learned
00:03:17 the sabbath remains
00:03:19 i like that one scripture that i that i
00:03:22 closed with that was one of the
00:03:24 primary scriptures that was responsible
00:03:26 for me waking up because it’s like oh
00:03:29 the sabbath from before
00:03:33 they were christians
00:03:35 remained
00:03:38 and that and
00:03:39 it was just like
00:03:41 whoa
00:03:44 oh boy i better repent
00:03:46 i need to repent i need to do better
00:03:50 well see i came to it from a different
00:03:52 angle i came to it from um
00:03:55 learning about the catholic church and
00:03:58 the history of how we got
00:04:01 our current bible and our current
00:04:03 sabbath and so on and so forth and so i
00:04:06 understood that
00:04:07 it was the catholic
00:04:09 church in antiquity
00:04:12 that um
00:04:13 took upon themselves the authority to
00:04:16 um
00:04:17 say that sunday would be the day that we
00:04:20 would work
00:04:21 and so i knew that had to be wrong
00:04:24 that happened because
00:04:26 that happened because the christians
00:04:28 were already compromising
00:04:30 they were already compromising with
00:04:32 their sabbath and they were worshiping
00:04:34 on sunday on sunday because they thought
00:04:36 oh jesus was raised on sunday
00:04:39 right right they were already apocryphal
00:04:42 i get that
00:04:44 anyway so because of that a couple years
00:04:46 ago i started asking god
00:04:49 um to just show me the truth it doesn’t
00:04:51 matter the consequences that was my
00:04:53 prayer every day just show me the truth
00:04:55 and i’ll tell you he showed me a lot of
00:04:57 truth over the last couple of years
00:05:01 and one of the things that ended up
00:05:03 happening was like i said we moved and
00:05:05 um
00:05:07 where we are now we weren’t going to go
00:05:09 ahead and go to the lds church anymore
00:05:11 because what was the point right
00:05:13 um
00:05:14 we had come to understand that it’s in
00:05:16 complete apostasy so
00:05:19 then we went looking for who were we
00:05:20 going to worship with and at that point
00:05:22 i was already we were already worshiping
00:05:24 on saturday so we have found some people
00:05:27 that we’re worshiping with them they are
00:05:28 quite the motley group so we have we
00:05:31 have um i guess the majority of us are
00:05:34 um xlds and xrlds that are worshiping on
00:05:38 saturday already but then we also have
00:05:41 this gentleman who is um
00:05:43 um
00:05:44 more of a zionist torah kind of person
00:05:48 so he wants nothing to do with the book
00:05:50 of mormon or anything like that
00:05:53 he just wants us to read torah and only
00:05:55 taurus now that’s good in that
00:05:58 it’s good because it’s forcing me into
00:06:01 torah
00:06:02 an area where i’m incredibly weak right
00:06:06 it’s bad
00:06:07 because we’re actually meeting on sunday
00:06:10 afternoon outside of him so that we can
00:06:12 use the restoration scriptures as well
00:06:16 oh my goodness

00:06:21 the thing is the thing is is that guy
00:06:23 what that guy doesn’t realize
00:06:27 is
00:06:29 that if he would just read the book of
00:06:30 mormon
00:06:31 he would realize it’s full of torah
00:06:34 oh i know we have told him that so many
00:06:36 times you have no idea
00:06:39 and he he just he is completely
00:06:42 resistant to it it’s just like you said
00:06:44 and here’s here’s i’m praying for it
00:06:46 because he’s a really good guy and he
00:06:49 wants truth
00:06:50 but he’s resisting and here’s what i’ve
00:06:53 come to understand
00:06:55 is that if
00:06:57 god
00:06:58 reveals things to us through the holy
00:07:00 spirit
00:07:01 and we resist it
00:07:03 then we are literally in a state of
00:07:05 apostasy and eventually he’s going to
00:07:08 stop striving with us
00:07:10 so i am concerned for his welfare so i
00:07:12 we are trying to accommodate him and
00:07:15 pray for him and be a good example for
00:07:17 right now
00:07:19 for a while until god tells us otherwise
00:07:22 does that make sense
00:07:24 one of my so one thing i’m
00:07:26 some people are actually looking
00:07:29 but because of the traditions that they
00:07:30 grew up in
00:07:32 they need
00:07:34 more sure word
00:07:37 no but they need something that’s really
00:07:39 clear okay so one of the posts
00:07:44 that
00:07:44 is a focus but i’m a little sidetracked
00:07:46 from it right now but this one that i’m
00:07:49 actually focused on is kind of there’s a
00:07:51 side track that you saw some scriptures
00:07:54 on
00:07:55 about how the book of mormon really
00:07:57 defines the law of moses and so does
00:07:59 joseph smith
00:08:00 um
00:08:02 but there’s another one that
00:08:05 i’m oh here’s another one coming um
00:08:09 that
00:08:10 i’m going to show examples after christ
00:08:13 came
00:08:14 um after his resurrection in 35 11 and
00:08:17 passed how they kept specific things
00:08:20 from torah
00:08:22 in fact if you know what to look for
00:08:24 torah is in moroni seven

00:10:08 definition of those words

00:10:16 the 1828 dictionary to be very
00:10:20 insightful if nothing else
00:10:23 to know what these words mean when
00:10:25 joseph smith was alive
00:10:27 um especially when studying the book of
00:10:28 mormon but precept
00:10:30 uh i don’t remember
00:10:32 the exact definition but we can go look
00:10:34 at it if you want
00:10:35 um i there’s i just gave the post that i
00:10:37 did on it and i gave another one about
00:10:39 how if you keep the commandments you’ll
00:10:41 learn them more catch and understand
00:10:45 but precept and line
00:10:47 precept is about commandments and line
00:10:49 is about how you measure things and how
00:10:52 do you measure things and standards
00:10:54 the standard which is the law the
00:10:56 commandments
00:10:58 um
00:11:02 masons will use line because i
00:11:05 so i’m a x mason
00:11:07 i
00:11:08 i joined to try to understand the
00:11:10 scriptures
00:11:11 better ironically it was understanding
00:11:13 the scriptures more that took me out of
00:11:15 it but anyways

00:11:18 they love their tools the masons and one
00:11:20 of their tools
00:11:22 is the plum
00:11:23 which is a basically a stream that goes
00:11:25 down with the weight on it
00:11:27 and it’s in the scriptures i don’t
00:11:28 remember where
00:11:30 and then it’s in the line and the line
00:11:32 is
00:11:33 it’s a measuring tape basically uh a
00:11:36 line which
00:11:38 is measuring to a standard like
00:11:41 been stated

00:11:49 simple
00:11:50 verses because like one of the most
00:11:52 common ones people quote that own is
00:11:54 isaiah but it’s in the book of mormon

00:12:01 and commandment upon commandment and
00:12:03 commandment upon commandment
00:12:06 actually if you
00:12:07 the the those are the the ones in the
00:12:10 sermon on the mountain the one in the
00:12:11 sermon on the mount is actually a lot
00:12:13 uh more respectful than the one in
00:12:15 isaiah the one in isaiah is actually uh
00:12:17 he’s kind of making fun of he’s kind of
00:12:19 making fun of the people for insisting
00:12:21 upon learning line up online
00:12:23 um i don’t remember that part but i
00:12:25 don’t doubt it because
00:12:26 it seems
00:12:28 it seems uh you know it it seems like
00:12:31 he’s saying it
00:12:33 it seems like he’s
00:12:35 in a kind of a derogatory voice about it

00:12:40 people love to say
00:12:42 christ was completely loving and i
00:12:46 if they understood the culture that was
00:12:48 going on at the time and things he said
00:12:51 so for example

00:12:58 the parable of good samaritan
00:13:01 it sounds nice to us right
00:13:05 he was dissing on the priests
00:13:08 he’s he actually basically said
00:13:11 you priests are horrible this your enemy
00:13:14 took care of your kind you didn’t do it
00:13:17 that is not a nice statement when you
00:13:19 really understand i mean there’s a lot
00:13:20 to it more than just that we can get
00:13:22 into if you really want to but i’m just
00:13:24 the main thing i’m trying to bring out
00:13:26 christ wasn’t so lovey-dovey that most
00:13:28 christians and
00:13:30 these other groups think that he was
00:13:32 he into in a lot of people’s standards
00:13:35 he was actually kind of rude at times
00:13:38 they don’t see it because they don’t
00:13:40 understand everything that’s going on in
00:13:41 the culture and what’s actually
00:13:43 completely being said they get bits and
00:13:45 pieces of it okay
00:13:46 they don’t
00:13:54 he told the pharisees their father was
00:13:56 satan

00:14:39 uh god is love savior that gets preached

00:14:45 it drives me nuts in fact this happened

00:14:49 got chewed out for bringing it out but

00:14:53 christians thinks a lot of christians
00:14:56 and this is mainly how that that the god
00:14:58 of the new testament is is just loving
00:15:01 and merciful and the god of the old
00:15:03 testament which is actually the same god
00:15:04 was just this vengeful god
00:15:07 that’s because they haven’t read both
00:15:09 there’s love
00:15:10 people
00:15:14 in the new testament it’s he’s the same
00:15:16 god in both
00:15:19 always full of justice and mercy
00:15:21 always it’s just people pick what they
00:15:23 want to remember and see
00:15:27 they just want to think
00:15:28 things are better now no it’s the same
00:15:32 worse because we have more records
00:15:35 to teach us that that are being ignored
00:15:37 and we’re in this
00:15:39 and we yeah and we’re still
00:15:43 wandering after strange gods
00:15:49 claiming we’re going after god
00:15:52 right
00:15:57 the law is a strange path stephen you
00:15:58 have to understand that
00:16:00 to those on the wide one yeah yeah i

00:16:08 this it sounds ironic i understand this
00:16:12 but the straight and narrow is freedom
00:16:15 and peace

00:16:40 that you have received the the goodness
00:16:42 of the atonement and you’ve taken that
00:16:44 holy spirit as your guide
00:16:46 and you’re on the path because god’s
00:16:50 love
00:16:51 and knowledge and commandments are
00:16:52 written in your heart and it’s just who
00:16:54 you are
00:16:55 you don’t want to do evil you don’t want
00:16:58 to
00:16:59 watch evil you don’t want and you
00:17:01 correct i i know i correct people all
00:17:03 the time
00:17:05 all the time especially children i’ve
00:17:06 always done this it’s been really weird
00:17:08 and got me in trouble a lot because when
00:17:10 i see a child doing wrong i don’t care
00:17:12 if their parents they’re not if i see
00:17:14 them doing something that they just
00:17:15 should not be doing i correct them yeah

00:17:22 uh are sinning
00:17:24 and then the scriptures say that i i can
00:17:27 show a whole punch because it’s called i
00:17:29 have it under reprove
00:17:31 and in fact if you don’t reprove
00:17:34 you can be liable for that sin

01:01:36 if those people who are in paradise
01:01:39 if god has a mission for them he can
01:01:41 send them to go help and comfort people
01:01:45 especially loved ones

01:01:50 sent to their loved ones often

01:01:58 no the lds church does not teach that

01:02:02 did when i was there well they may not
01:02:04 we may not teach it formerly but our

01:02:11 grandfather being visited by one of his
01:02:14 relatives
01:02:16 in one of his you know special media

01:02:29 and before i even knew my mother was
01:02:32 there to visit me who had died just like

01:02:39 my friend who was in the room said um
01:02:43 does your mom ever call you by this that
01:02:45 name and i’m like uh yeah

01:02:49 she was like
01:02:50 she she’s here to visit you

01:02:54 and so it wasn’t just me but a friend of
01:02:58 mine also had that same confirmation and
01:03:01 knew that my mother was there to visit
01:03:02 me and like i said my mother had just
01:03:04 passed
01:03:06 shortly before that witches use the same
01:03:09 technique and demons
01:03:13 probably know more about us than we know
01:03:15 ourselves because we have forgetful
01:03:17 memories demons
01:03:20 know what we know and they will use it
01:03:22 against us

01:03:25 demons tell little children
01:03:28 things that someone else did in a
01:03:31 while they’re alive to convince the
01:03:33 children that they are reincarnated i

01:05:41 the lord in the midst of the land of
01:05:42 egypt and of course to the lord at its
01:05:45 border
01:05:46 and it will be for our sign and for
01:05:48 witness to the lord of hosts in the land
01:05:51 of egypt
01:05:52 for they will cry to the lord because of
01:05:54 the oppressors and he will send them the
01:05:57 savior and the mighty one there’s the
01:05:58 mighty one mighty strong right and he
01:06:01 will deliver them
01:06:03 and then if we come down to verse 23

01:06:10 egypt to assyria

01:07:41 in third nephi he constantly refers what

01:07:53 thing that comes to my mind with the
01:07:54 work from my hands could that be
01:07:57 because in the time at the very end the
01:08:00 dead in christ will rise first
01:08:03 that is one of the first events that’s
01:08:05 going to happen

01:08:14 those that were resurrected and already
01:08:17 caught up

01:08:59 rivers of egypt

01:21:50 worship day gradually it became less
01:21:52 important while the sabbath became a

01:22:00 less important is because they gave it
01:22:03 into the jews who threaten them
01:22:06 on the threat of death you follow our
01:22:08 continuously weekly cycle or we will
01:22:11 kill you they caved in

01:22:15 because they didn’t trust yahweh

01:22:18 jews
01:22:19 and israel lost the sabbath

01:29:56 because of the refraction of the
01:29:58 atmosphere

01:30:02 the earth as a sphere but um i have two

02:14:45 there’s three types of alcohol in the
02:14:47 word wisdom wine you’re supposed to have
02:14:48 for sacrament beer you’re supposed to
02:14:50 drink strong drink
02:14:53 above 20 percent
02:14:55 is for the body
02:14:57 for washing outside and lori you
02:14:59 mentioned tinctures but a natural
02:15:02 tincture is to just ferment it
02:15:04 it’s just to ferment

02:15:09 steeping it in a hard alcohol you can

02:15:13 before bio available
