00:00:33 that there’s multiple sources for
00:00:35 multiple of the New Testaments are
00:00:37 starting to come out that they were
00:00:39 originally in Hebrew
00:00:42 um but on this point one thing that I
00:00:45 recall off top of my head
00:00:47 the the story of the adulterous woman or
00:00:52 the I should say history of the
00:00:53 adulterous woman
00:00:55 sometimes they call it the wandering
00:00:59 wandering history
00:01:01 because in the Greek manuscripts it has
00:01:06 changed which of the four gospels it’s
00:01:09 been in
00:01:10 but it’s interesting when you go look at
00:01:13 the Hebrew texts it’s always been there
00:01:16 and so this in some respects is an
00:01:20 example where the the Greeks the
00:01:22 hellenists knew of it
00:01:25 and they copied it from there and then
00:01:28 translated into the Greek to give it out
00:01:30 to the world because I think one thing
00:01:35 that a lot of people forget is Greek was
00:01:38 the English of our day right
00:01:42 yeah
00:01:43 um and there was a period where Latin
00:01:46 was that and I think that’s why you know
00:01:49 Rome
00:01:50 the Catholic Church loves their Latin
00:01:52 because Latin was the common language
00:01:55 at least for their domain I don’t know
00:01:56 about the whole world but
00:01:59 um anyway well for the for their Known
00:02:01 World it was
00:02:04 the common language
00:02:06 yeah this is where I I haven’t studied
00:02:10 history on this so much but
00:02:13 I I would imagine that Greek was still
00:02:15 more common than Latin even though they
00:02:17 just decided to go with Latin I
00:02:20 for their official stuff and it was
00:02:22 probably just because
00:02:24 it was Rome and so they wanted to
00:02:26 use that language instead of
00:02:29 Greek I don’t know also

00:02:39 language is the languages are
00:02:41 fascinating
00:02:43 but I really wanted to kind of get into
00:02:45 the message
00:02:49 that is in that is in the scriptures uh

00:02:56 in these translations from the Hebrew
00:02:58 and we could compare it it’s like I
00:03:00 think and I was thinking we could
00:03:02 compare
00:03:05 do a compare and contrast with our King
00:03:09 James versions
00:03:10 and see
00:03:12 whether or not this does in fact
00:03:16 make the gospel clearer

00:05:20 these gospels comes with its own proofs
00:05:22 of age one of these gospels comes with
00:05:24 its own proofs of authenticity and you
00:05:25 can study those at your leisure

00:05:33 on your own on your own path
00:05:37 uh and so that’s uh that’s some it’s a
00:05:41 really good it’s actually a really good
00:05:43 resource but I was I I think that the uh
00:05:47 I think it would be good to go into
00:05:51 um the Hebrew gospel compare it
00:05:54 to the king and compare to the King
00:05:57 James version
00:05:59 and see
00:06:01 and see if these things
00:06:05 are not

00:06:16 possible reasons why it does make it
00:06:18 more clear for one
00:06:20 it’s just Hebrew to English and the
00:06:24 these translators at least for some of
00:06:27 these
00:06:28 actually uh understand the Hebrew and
00:06:31 the the concepts are being taught so
00:06:34 they can translate it better
00:06:35 versus
00:06:38 um Hellenistic people
00:06:40 who who believe but they don’t really
00:06:43 understand and so they can it’s hard for
00:06:46 them to translate something they don’t
00:06:47 really understand right right the
00:06:50 wonderful the wonderful thing about this
00:06:52 translation of Hebrew gospels is that it
00:06:55 is unabashedly unequivocally
00:07:00 testifying of our savior
00:07:04 as the Messiah
00:07:07 yeah okay there is there’s there’s uh it
00:07:13 it’s not a uh
00:07:16 it’s not something that yeah people say
00:07:18 yeah
00:07:20 it’s not a translation by somebody who
00:07:23 has an accident right against Jesus
00:07:26 Christ and so this is
00:07:29 and this so this is this is very so so I
00:07:34 and it and it’s directly from an
00:07:37 authenticated uh Hebrew transcript so

00:10:58 modern society but it still happens that
00:11:01 if you take an apprenticeship you
00:11:04 actually will go live with your teacher
00:11:06 and you will call him father
00:11:09 yeah because he’s now your leader yep so

00:11:19 and seeing the multitudes he went up
00:11:22 into a mountain and when he was set his
00:11:24 disciples came unto him

00:11:54 there’s a depth of meaning conveyed in
00:11:56 the Hebrew
00:11:58 that is not necessarily but while the
00:12:03 Greek is very descriptive and it’s easy
00:12:05 to eat and it’s easy for our and it’s
00:12:08 easy for our minds to comprehend there’s
00:12:10 depth of um there’s a depth of
00:12:13 understanding
00:12:15 in
00:12:17 of the relationship between
00:12:20 Yeshua or Jesus and his disciples
00:12:24 conveyed in verse 1 of the Hebrew
00:12:28 Matthew that is not necessarily conveyed
00:12:32 I believe in verse 1 of the other two
00:12:37 well I think it’s more clear
00:12:40 um
00:12:41 where I
00:12:43 if you know what how fathers used and
00:12:47 whatnot like I was explaining a little
00:12:49 bit uh in the Hebrew culture it it’s
00:12:52 there
00:12:54 but it’s more
00:12:56 it’s less noticeable for
00:12:59 the more trained I guess for lack of a
00:13:02 better word or one who cares about the
00:13:04 Hebrew culture more right that makes
00:13:07 sense but that yeah that’s what I that
00:13:09 was what I was going to point out is you
00:13:11 know
00:13:13 there are some people that are not so
00:13:15 familiar with Hebrew culture
00:13:17 so yeah you know Ben you’re you’re in a
00:13:21 place now where you’re where you’re
00:13:23 opening up and you’re learning and
00:13:25 you’re
00:13:26 and you’re paying attention to this kind
00:13:28 of stuff but to the average
00:13:30 human on the face of the Earth they
00:13:34 don’t care about this stuff they don’t
00:13:38 and that’s the sad thing
00:13:42 well the thing is well
00:13:45 on top of that a lot of those who
00:13:49 are starting to wake up the problem is
00:13:52 they’re reading Hebrew scriptures with a
00:13:54 Hellenistic mindset and so they think
00:13:57 they see something that’s actually not
00:13:59 there right so okay so going in going
00:14:02 into verse two he opened his mouth and
00:14:05 thought them saying
00:14:09 the same and it’s it’s just the same
00:14:12 yep it’s exactly the same okay in the
00:14:16 King James okay so now let’s get now
00:14:18 we’re getting into the Beatitudes
00:14:20 blessed are the humble ones of spirit
00:14:23 for theirs is the kingdom of Yahweh
00:14:27 why that makes it easier to understand
00:14:29 the humble ones this one says of course
00:14:32 blessed are the poor in spirit for
00:14:34 there’s the kingdom of heaven and humble
00:14:36 ones makes so much more sense yes
00:14:41 yes
00:14:43 that that okay
00:14:47 um and in these I don’t know in the
00:14:49 1600s if that poor meant humble
00:14:54 more clearly than it does to them four
00:14:57 people attended generally to be more
00:14:59 humble
00:15:00 well
00:15:01 um I I would say the poor is poor in
00:15:05 spirit which is another way of saying
00:15:07 humble
00:15:08 um
00:15:10 and what is the Joseph Smith translation
00:15:13 read Zach on verse two three
00:15:19 blessed are they who believe on me
00:15:21 and again more blessed are they Who
00:15:23 Shall Believe on your words
00:15:25 when you shall testify that you have
00:15:27 seen me that I am
00:15:31 okay and verse and verse 4.
00:15:36 that because that one that one is a that
00:15:39 one’s a direct copy of what he says to
00:15:41 be bites verse four yeah so that that
00:15:43 one’s uh an insert right lots of
00:15:46 insertables
00:15:48 that’s an absurdive verse that really
00:15:50 kind of that really does kind of help to
00:15:52 uh clarify and it really comes back to
00:15:55 that humble ones of spirit it really
00:15:57 does point back to that so let’s go back
00:15:58 to uh let’s go on to verse forzak
00:16:01 okay because that was an insertive verse
00:16:04 okay Buster they Who Shall Believe on
00:16:06 your your words and come down into the
00:16:08 into the depths of humility
00:16:11 and be baptized in my name for they
00:16:14 shall be visited with fire and the Holy
00:16:16 Ghost and shall receive his remission of
00:16:19 their sins
00:16:21 wow so much about being humble there and
00:16:24 uh first life
00:16:26 you both started the poor in spirit who
00:16:29 come unto me for theirs is the kingdom
00:16:31 of heaven and so therefore the poor in
00:16:34 spirit had come unto me the humble ones
00:16:36 of spirit yep and so you see you see how
00:16:40 this is kind of how this and the Joseph
00:16:42 Smith translation are really kind of
00:16:43 blending together
00:16:45 right and I I would say if we actually
00:16:48 search the to knock the Old Testament
00:16:51 four uses of poor and spirit
00:16:54 we would come up with examples of humble
00:16:58 yeah
00:17:00 um I I unless someone wants to do it
00:17:03 themselves I’m a little crippled right

00:17:08 um for me porn spirit and humble or same

00:18:10 yes basically the same thing yeah it all

00:18:15 now here’s one that’s really cool
00:18:18 and I I pointed this out to somebody I
00:18:21 pointed this out to somebody the other

00:18:23 verse five
00:18:25 blessed are the resting ones
00:18:28 for they will inherit the earth
00:18:31 the resting ones that that Hebrew word
00:18:35 that is that they have translated out to
00:18:38 resting ones are those who rest in
00:18:40 obedience to yahweh’s way
00:18:45 that’s what it means to be the arresting
00:18:48 one as one who rests in obedience
00:18:52 and this also
00:18:54 yeah and that makes that statement at
00:18:58 the end of that verse where they shall
00:18:59 inherit the earth much clearer
00:19:01 yeah
00:19:03 for they shall inherit the earth if we
00:19:06 rest in yahweh’s way
00:19:09 what is the King James say
00:19:13 um
00:19:17 blessed are the meek for they shall
00:19:19 inherit the earth
00:19:21 blessed are the resting ones those who
00:19:24 rest in the place
00:19:26 so
00:19:28 um I I lost connection I came back but
00:19:31 um one thing along with this lines
00:19:34 um sorry to introduce some but
00:19:38 um
00:19:40 when we look through the scriptures
00:19:42 it’s keeping the Commandments which
00:19:44 makes it so that we can
00:19:47 um
00:19:48 be in heaven right
00:19:52 but along with that
00:19:55 it also seems that it also seems to win
00:19:58 it also seems to Stage it also States
00:20:01 implicitly
00:20:03 that those who keep the Commandments
00:20:05 those who rest in the ways of don’t be
00:20:07 will inherit the earth
00:20:09 right
00:20:11 um and what I was going to say to go
00:20:12 along with that
00:20:14 um
00:20:15 this Earth is going to be translated
00:20:18 into heaven this is where Heaven’s going
00:20:21 to be
00:20:23 and so the what I’m trying to bring out

00:20:29 a lot of people will kind of try to say
00:20:32 that well you just need to love right
00:20:36 but a little bit more to it the thing
00:20:38 that they love to forget is how all the
00:20:42 law and the prophets hang on how
00:20:46 Yeshua is teaching us how he wants us to
00:20:51 do the loving
00:20:53 right
00:20:54 and then on top of that
00:20:57 um I can’t get the link and I easily I I
00:21:00 can give it later but charity
00:21:03 when you go look at the Hebrew word
00:21:06 behind it actually means keep the
00:21:09 Commandments
00:21:12 and so what I’m trying to bring out is
00:21:15 that throughout the scriptures it’s one
00:21:18 thing that points whether if we’re going
00:21:20 to live with Elohim or not and it’s
00:21:23 keeping his Commandments
00:21:26 or not
00:21:28 you mean you mean to tell me that
00:21:30 charity is not throwing a couple million
00:21:33 dollars at a cup at some starving people
00:21:35 so that you can be seen of the world to
00:21:37 be a good person
00:21:39 hey on top of that when it’s only like
00:21:42 .0001 per I’m exaggerating a little bit
00:21:45 of percent of the money that you
00:21:46 actually have right
00:21:50 now I’m glad I’m glad you caught my

00:22:01 throwing money at people charity is
00:22:04 keeping the law in fact if we go look at
00:22:06 Moroni seven going off a memory down in

00:22:13 the pure love of Yahweh it’s listing
00:22:16 Commandments yeah the charity
00:22:19 here’s the thing
00:22:21 people charity is the most misunderstood

00:22:33 trying to over if we’re not trying to
00:22:35 over complicate things

00:23:44 Commandments are how to love

00:24:02 to show love to him and to others

00:24:22 right and Moroni seven early verses

00:24:30 it’ll be counted on to you for

00:39:35 iniquity Psalm 78 38 and his father had

00:39:51 so it seems that compassion has actually
00:39:54 a much more Universal
00:39:58 um right and one thing I would say that
00:40:02 reminds me more compassion of mosiah 18
00:40:07 and the one of the things that it likes
00:40:10 to bring out about the baptism Covenant
00:40:13 because the
00:40:15 ah
00:40:17 baptism is a witness of a covenant
00:40:19 already made right and the Covenant is
00:40:21 to keep all of yahweh’s Commandments but
00:40:24 one of the things that actually
00:40:26 specifically brings out and I’d have to
00:40:30 look up the exact wording but it’s
00:40:32 something
00:40:33 um
00:40:35 with those who mourn
00:40:37 which is what compassion brought out
00:40:40 where Mercy did not right right yeah and
00:40:44 actually Mercy Mercy is connected to
00:40:47 passion in the very definition of mercy
00:40:51 it is connected to Passion like it is a
00:40:54 part of compassion
00:40:56 so here is so I’m just going to read
00:40:59 that thing that those verses where it
00:41:02 talks about what we’re
00:41:04 what we’re promising at baptism from
00:41:07 mosiah chapter 18.
00:41:09 versus uh one of them is going to be
00:41:13 that we promise to keep all his
00:41:14 Commandments and so that might be
00:41:16 further up but later down it brings up
00:41:19 the focus of mourn with those who mourn
00:41:22 so all right chapter 18 verses 18
00:41:25 through 20 is the actual reference no
00:41:27 eight or eight sorry eight through
00:41:32 um
00:41:32 okay I’ll start in verse seven and it
00:41:35 came to pass after many days there were
00:41:38 a goodly number gathered together at the
00:41:40 place of Mormon to hear the words of
00:41:42 Alma yeah all were gathered together

00:42:25 and passion here we’re promising here we
00:42:27 are promising to stand in
00:42:31 and fulfill the promises
00:42:34 the Savior made
00:42:37 to those
00:42:39 who weep
00:42:41 to those who mourn
00:42:43 we we’re promising to stand in
00:42:46 for the Savior and do that
00:42:50 when you know
00:42:52 that makes a lot of sense because I I
00:42:54 mean the baptism the Covenant is or the
00:42:58 witness that you’re making with baptism
00:43:00 is that you keep all his Commandments
00:43:02 but I think that makes sense what you’re
00:43:04 bringing out
00:43:05 there have been about how it’s bringing
00:43:09 out things of what
00:43:11 the savior is doing for us and that’s
00:43:14 part of what he’s actually bringing out
00:43:17 in these passages right as basically and
00:43:21 here and basically a blueprint for how
00:43:24 he wants us to show that love and let’s
00:43:26 finish this and to stand as Witnesses of
00:43:30 God at all times and in all things and
00:43:33 in all places that ye may be in even
00:43:36 until death that ye may be redeemed of
00:43:39 God and be numbered with those of the
00:43:41 first resurrection that you may have
00:43:43 eternal life
00:43:45 now I say unto you if this be the desire
00:43:49 of your hearts
00:43:50 what have you against being baptized in
00:43:54 the name of the Lord as a witness before
00:43:57 him that ye have entered into a covenant
00:43:59 with him that ye will serve him and keep
00:44:03 his Commandments
00:44:06 having charity
00:44:09 that he may pour out his spirit so I
00:44:12 just want to bring something out keep
00:44:14 his Commandments having charity
00:44:18 that’s the fight I haven’t noticed that

00:46:08 Joseph Smith translation is bringing
00:46:10 this

00:46:15 a Harmony

00:46:27 The Book of Mormon title page brings out
00:46:29 how it was translated by a gentile
00:46:31 Joseph Smith he was a gentile

00:46:35 and I’m very grateful for what he he did
00:46:38 in bringing forth modern scripture
00:46:42 but I think also though
00:46:47 he didn’t because of everything he was
00:46:49 doing and taking care of so many people
00:46:52 he didn’t have the time to think about
00:46:55 how he was actually bringing Hebrew
00:46:58 Concepts back to light
00:47:00 and so he
00:47:03 was to some extent bringing it back in
00:47:07 Hebrew or I mean in Gentile Hellenistic
00:47:10 way of thinking but he was actually
00:47:12 bringing facts there’s one guy I it kind
00:47:16 of helped me wake up to Torah one thing
00:47:19 he stated and I actually would tend to
00:47:21 agree with this that the Book of Mormon
00:47:23 was the start of the Hebrew Roots
00:47:26 movement

00:47:31 there is so much Hebrew roots in the in
00:47:34 the Book of Mormon unless she actually
00:47:36 said it you’re not going to see it
00:47:38 but it was the really the
00:47:43 initiating of that caused it

00:47:48 happened that deny the Book of Mormon
00:47:51 but the initial one that really started
00:47:54 the Hebrew Roots movement was the Book

00:48:33 actually inclusive of sons and daughters
00:48:36 it’s not an exclusive concept well so in

00:48:43 when they have masculine and feminine
00:48:46 the masculine includes both right in the
00:48:50 context so I I that’s nothing new it’s
00:48:55 just something to keep in mind
00:48:57 but it’s it’s something that the woke
00:49:00 crew won’t get
00:49:01 uh yeah the the woke aren’t so woke

00:50:09 in the Old Testament it didn’t seem like
00:50:11 that so much it was
00:50:16 that
00:50:16 in other words the only time you have
00:50:18 peace is when you’re obeying right right
00:50:21 right yeah well and then
00:50:25 but they were pretty bad
00:50:28 of the
00:50:30 discomfort that comes
00:50:34 from not obeying the Commandments and he
00:50:37 did cause a great amount of discomfort
00:50:39 to those who were not obeying the
00:50:41 Commandments because they didn’t want a
00:50:43 year what he had to say
00:50:46 and so they were uncomfortable he wasn’t
00:50:48 uncomfortable well I mean until the end
00:50:50 when he was often the source of their
00:50:53 uncomfort yes
00:50:55 well he reminded them of the source of
00:50:58 their discomfort which was their willful
00:51:00 disobedience
00:51:02 and the thing is is that there’s an
00:51:05 awful lot of people that are not
00:51:08 comfortable in our current Society who
00:51:10 pretend they are
00:51:12 and
00:51:13 and
00:51:15 the society wants to push on us the idea
00:51:17 that they are
00:51:19 and they have become comfortable in
00:51:21 their lack of comfort
00:51:24 they don’t they don’t even know how to
00:51:26 live without it it ends all that
00:51:29 yes which is which is amazing
00:51:33 so yeah I’m going off a rough memory

01:19:28 other gospels and other New Testament
01:19:31 works that are being found out that the
01:19:34 originals were Hebrew and not discreek
01:19:37 as most Scholars like to push

01:19:44 a lot of these things were later
01:19:45 translated into Greek or some of them
01:19:48 may have been written in Hebrew and
01:19:50 Greek at the same time
01:19:53 the original idea and and way of
01:19:56 thinking but Greek because that was the
01:20:00 modern day English of the time right
01:20:02 meaning the language of the world
01:20:05 the way that I look at the way that I
01:20:07 look at this
01:20:10 and of course I tend to be uh
01:20:13 there are people who would say that I’m
01:20:14 a conspiracy theorist
01:20:18 but I I like the the phrase conspiracy
01:20:21 realist more but yeah but I the way I
01:20:25 look at it is this
01:20:28 the Gentiles
01:20:31 received the gospel
01:20:33 rejected it
01:20:35 hijacked it
01:20:37 and changed it in their translation to
01:20:40 the Greek

01:20:51 and this is maybe my view of it it I
01:20:55 don’t think they intentionally hijacked

01:41:46 this could be a translation issue

02:03:42 so those people who say that the law was
02:03:45 hailed to the cross
02:03:46 they’re saying there is no sin
02:03:49 so why did the law need to be nailed to
02:03:51 the cross then
02:03:52 why did Jesus need to die if there is no

02:03:58 but I think we mean the main thing is if
02:04:01 there is no law why do you need a savior

02:04:17 because Paul did say the law
02:04:19 was nailed to the cross but he was
02:04:22 talking about the law of Moses
02:04:25 and not the Torah
02:04:27 those are two different things
02:04:30 look the law of Moses and Torah are two

02:04:35 I probably the best one for this one is
02:04:38 Alma 34. I I forget the verses and I’m
02:04:43 not really able to find it but um
02:04:45 but I think it’s near the end
02:04:49 there’s something to the fact that
02:04:52 that
02:04:53 this law or this type the law of Moses
02:04:58 at every width points the great and last
02:05:01 sacrifice that is the law of Moses and
02:05:04 not the law AKA Torah
02:05:07 the the Torah
02:05:09 teaches us how to be like the Messiah
02:05:14 does not point to his great and last
02:05:16 sacrifice
02:05:18 for example
02:05:20 you know I am the Lord thy God I
02:05:22 disappoint to the last sacrifice
02:05:26 um and we go through all 10 but they
02:05:27 don’t point to the great last sacrifice
02:05:29 as Alma 34 states that the law of Moses
02:05:32 does
02:05:35 so every wit of the law of Moses points
02:05:37 to the great and less sacrifice

02:05:41 if you shall say it and so if you shall
02:05:44 say there is no law you shall also say
02:05:45 there is no sin if you shall say there
02:05:47 is no sin you shall also say there is no
02:05:49 righteousness and if there be no
02:05:51 righteousness there be no happiness and
02:05:53 if there be no righteousness nor
02:05:55 happiness there be no punishment nor
02:05:57 misery and if these things are not
02:06:01 there is no God
02:06:07 no law
02:06:08 no God
02:06:11 no happiness
02:06:13 but there’s no and there is no hope

02:06:20 and that law was given
02:06:24 from the fall of Adam

02:12:40 unto you that the time shall come when

02:12:45 the law of Moses
02:12:46 and moreover I say unto you that
02:12:48 salvation does not come by the law alone
02:12:50 and for it not for the atonement you see
02:12:53 here he is talking about what what
02:12:56 changes the law from damn an instrument

02:13:02 atonement which God himself should make
02:13:04 for the sins and iniquities of his
02:13:06 people that they must unavoidably perish

02:13:37 performances or ceremonies
02:13:42 and ordinances
02:13:45 ceremonies and ordinances a law which
02:13:49 they were to observe strictly from day
02:13:51 to day
02:13:52 to keep them in the remembrance and that
02:13:55 word right there is really important
02:13:56 those words day to day because it shows
02:13:59 that this these
02:14:01 ceremonies and ordinances were done
02:14:04 daily
02:14:06 right uh which I’m just going to
02:14:08 interject a little bit there’s three
02:14:11 chapters in the first five books of
02:14:14 Moses that defines these and for a
02:14:18 starting point I uh you’d have to double
02:14:21 check but I think it’s number

02:14:26 where it actually States day by day if
02:14:30 I’m going off fake memory but in mosiah
02:14:33 13 it says day two day which that’s just
02:14:36 a translation issue right it’s speaking
02:14:39 the same thing and it’s primarily
02:14:42 the killing of two Lambs every day that
02:14:47 the aaronic priesthood did
02:14:48 that’s the law of Moses

02:16:01 hours at the various points that these

02:16:06 happened to them uh correlate with the
02:16:08 events that
02:16:10 um the evil Sadducees and Pharisees did
02:16:14 to Yeshua
02:16:16 so the lamb that is offered in the
02:16:18 morning
02:16:20 is symbolic
02:16:23 of
02:16:25 is symbolic I do believe it points to
02:16:29 when Christ was either crucified or
02:16:32 brought for mock trial
02:16:35 uh it’d be the
02:16:38 um
02:16:38 more of the mock later mock trial so on
02:16:43 this there’s a lot of parts to this so
02:16:46 there’s a the part of the
02:16:49 the burnt offering the wood stuff
02:16:52 um actually when Yeshua talked about the
02:16:55 thief of the night
02:16:57 coming it’s showing that the aaronic
02:17:01 priesthood was not keeping the fire
02:17:03 going at night which is the wood burning
02:17:06 which is actually when
02:17:11 um the priest came to get Yeshua the the
02:17:13 or not the priest the temple guards that
02:17:16 was at midnight okay yeah
02:17:18 yeah that’s right and
02:17:22 fire has to do with judgment and that’s
02:17:24 when they actually really started that
02:17:26 judgment
02:17:28 and so yeah and it also goes along with
02:17:31 how
02:17:33 you know
02:17:35 cursing happened at midnight during
02:17:38 Passover
02:17:40 um
02:17:42 and so there’s a lot to this that gets
02:17:45 really deep
02:17:46 but
02:17:48 um but there were two Lambs one in the
02:17:51 morning
02:17:53 for when false judgment is passed
02:17:55 one in the evening for win the lamb dies
02:18:03 yeah the the the evening lab is much
02:18:07 easier to connect and when Yeshua died
02:18:11 was the
02:18:13 between the evenings
02:18:15 is actually when the evening lamb died
02:18:20 it’s when the evening lamb was offered

02:18:29 and so you see the law of Moses every
02:18:32 bit of it points back to the sacrifice

02:18:39 the last sacrifice uh Alma 34 I forget

02:18:52 three verses that I like that it
02:18:54 basically states that every wit
02:18:57 of the law of Moses and I’m paraphrasing

02:19:02 points to that great and last sacrifice

02:22:29 get into it has to happen before that

02:22:42 every pour was the day before
02:22:45 as
02:22:46 the Bible and the Book of Mormon
02:22:48 actually states that the day starts in
02:22:51 the morning
02:22:52 and that preparation of the altar Yeshua

02:22:59 it can’t be done on the same day

02:23:06 the the the the lab on what I would call
02:23:11 between the mornings uh points to Yeshua

02:23:21 covering with the blood is
02:23:23 points to Yeshua praying in the garden

02:23:40 the altar can be used for the wall Moses

02:24:02 it’s also about the uh offenses of the
02:24:07 people against Yeshua

02:24:18 of their their mockery of his law in
02:24:21 condemning him to death

02:24:40 with the sacrifice and the sacrifice I

02:24:53 and whatnot and

02:25:06 these Lambs are being judged
02:25:09 um just before the sacrifice

02:26:02 um sacrifice to save us

02:26:12 um a good point to read that Alma’s 34

02:27:54 and so you see on every wit of the law
02:27:58 of Moses
02:27:59 points directly to the sacrifice
02:28:02 it’s not about how we can become like it
02:28:05 it’s about
02:28:06 how do we it’s all pointing directly to
02:28:09 the actual sacrifice
02:28:11 how to recognize him in fact um
02:28:18 the law of Moses was given when the
02:28:22 Israelites broke the law
02:28:25 and
02:28:27 so to help them know
02:28:31 where salvation actually comes from they
02:28:34 were given something
02:28:38 so that way when it actually happened
02:28:40 they could see it
02:28:42 they could recognize it after it happens
02:28:44 to bring them to him
02:28:51 yeah and because every wit points to
02:28:54 that
02:28:56 and because of his sacrifice the law no
02:29:00 longer damns those who follow it
02:29:03 but is the means but it’s the means
02:29:06 given by God
02:29:08 by which we sanctify ourselves
02:29:12 from the Doctrine and Covenants
02:29:16 so when John the Baptist said Behold the
02:29:19 Lamb of God

02:48:36 The Book of Mormon that we have now it’s
02:48:37 not talking about the silk portion

02:54:23 the poor is something that’s very

02:54:51 part of the conversation so you’ll

02:55:26 through a field and they’re hungry and
02:55:28 then you just pick something and start
02:55:30 eating it and that’s exactly what

02:55:36 tithing is allowing the poor
02:55:39 to be able to glean food to be able to
02:55:43 clean food from your Fields if you are
02:55:47 in you part of tithing is not trying to
02:55:50 maximize your profit but as in you know
02:55:54 trying to figure out like in in
02:55:57 in Hellenistic schools they give you all
02:56:00 these wonderful calculus equations to
02:56:04 figure out how to maximize your profit
02:56:06 right to make the most out of to get the
02:56:09 most money out of people
02:56:12 that’s contrary to the law the the
02:56:17 if your goal is to maximize profit
02:56:21 you’re you’re going beyond what Yahweh
02:56:25 is allowed because
02:56:28 as an example of farming you’re supposed
02:56:31 to allow the poor to come and take from
02:56:34 your field so that they can provide for
02:56:36 themselves now there’s multiple things
02:56:39 here the poor still had to go do
02:56:41 something they had to go get it’s not
02:56:44 something that was just given to them
02:56:45 they had to go glean
02:56:47 themselves
02:56:49 so would the poor traditionally ask
02:56:51 permission before they would glean no
02:56:54 they they just the the Lao that the law
02:56:58 completely allowed them to just go off
02:57:00 and do it for example with uh Yeshua and
02:57:03 the disciples they didn’t go to the
02:57:05 owner of the land
02:57:07 where they were gleaning to ask
02:57:09 permission to eat they just ate
02:57:11 the
02:57:14 they were the law allowed them to do it
02:57:18 without asking so
02:57:21 it was not to the point where you know
02:57:24 um
02:57:25 so there’s a little difference between
02:57:27 gleaning and harvesting
02:57:30 um because if you go to the book a roof

02:57:47 portion of it allows people to harvest

02:57:55 owners of the field could not
02:57:59 Harvest everything they had to leave
02:58:01 things behind for the poor and the poor
02:58:03 did not have to ask
02:58:06 for permission because it was just
02:58:08 automatically
02:58:10 I I can’t think of the right word
02:58:13 I think was Ben trying to say something
02:58:15 yeah it was uh the the
02:58:21 first you have to understand what
02:58:22 gleanings are gleanings are the
02:58:24 leftovers after harvest right
02:58:31 and she went and came and gleaned in the
02:58:35 field after the Reapers and her hap was
02:58:38 to light on a part of the field blowing
02:58:40 fun to Boaz it was kind of okay anyway
02:58:43 but yeah so yeah
02:58:45 so the gleaning is the leftovers
02:58:49 after the Harvest
02:58:51 and in the Harvest process
02:58:55 people the people were supposed to leave
02:58:58 leftovers this is a part of how they
02:59:01 took care of the poor and the widows and
02:59:04 The Afflicted
02:59:06 they were supposed to leave leftovers
02:59:08 that they could come by and pick up
02:59:11 and so this was what Ruth was doing as
02:59:14 he’s go in that field gleaning
02:59:17 that field from Boaz
02:59:21 okay
02:59:22 you get me so it’s so it Boaz is not
02:59:27 losing his money trust me he’s got his
02:59:30 he’s harvested pretty well
02:59:35 at the same time because he was selling
02:59:38 it this law is making him lose some
02:59:41 money because he could have gotten more
02:59:43 and sold but
02:59:46 because he’s keeping yahweh’s law Yahweh
02:59:50 blessed him more than he could have done
02:59:52 himself by trying to maximize his profit
02:59:56 if that makes sense
02:59:59 and also doesn’t um
03:00:03 no leaving
03:00:04 leaving some on the in the field like
03:00:08 doesn’t that help the soil and the land
03:00:12 kind of um leaving leaving perhaps the
03:00:16 plant material behind it helps the soil
03:00:19 and the land but the grains itself you
03:00:22 leave those were left behind as a means
03:00:24 to take care of the war yeah the law
03:00:29 actually did it to take care of the poor
03:00:31 not for the
03:00:34 not for the soil
03:00:36 yeah take care of the more some side
03:00:38 effect on it but I it but it was to take
03:00:42 care of the board allowed to go pick it
03:00:44 up so that kind of negates that
03:00:47 yeah so yeah the the poor and the widows
03:00:51 is who that was to provide for
03:00:53 the Lord
03:00:54 loves
03:00:57 the lord loves to take care of the poor
03:00:59 nobody else and he despises those who
03:01:02 will not take care of it
03:01:04 yeah
03:01:06 um and
03:01:08 it so there’s a lot of things with
03:01:11 typing that it’s
03:01:13 parted the tithing laws when you go look
03:01:16 at the Old Testament is that some of it
03:01:18 went to the Levites
03:01:20 and most of what went to the Levites was
03:01:24 to take care of the poor like in Malachi
03:01:27 3 right but
03:01:29 into my Storehouse which is to take care
03:01:32 of the poor some of it did go to the
03:01:35 actual Levites
03:01:37 that was given to them
03:01:41 um and which is fine I mean we can even
03:01:43 see that in the DNC and I talk about
03:01:45 this and my Bishops are judges of Israel
03:01:47 post that’s being a judge to get paid
03:01:50 for your time so there’s nothing wrong
03:01:52 with that and you’ll see that in Acts
03:01:55 also where those who were put in charge
03:01:58 of the resources that were given to the
03:02:01 poor they got a portion of that so it’s
03:02:04 completely in accordance with the law or
03:02:07 Another Part of tithing is that you give
03:02:10 to the poor yourself directly
03:02:15 that’s in the law that’s in the law
03:02:19 um and I I can try to find in my notes
03:02:23 this is just the problem right now but I
03:02:26 would like to see that for future

03:06:22 high priest and The Keeper of the
03:06:24 storehouse of God him whom God had
03:06:26 appointed to receive tithes for the poor
03:06:28 wherefore Abram paid unto him tithes of
03:06:32 all that he had of all the riches which
03:06:35 he possessed which God had given him
03:06:36 more than that which he had need
03:06:39 more than what you need is Surplus
03:06:43 yeah
03:06:45 yeah and so that’s what Abraham paid a
03:06:47 tithe on Surplus which goes along with
03:06:50 ENC 119 which I have there too anyways
03:06:54 so that’s uh and after that those who
03:06:57 have thus been tied shall pay one tenth
03:06:59 of all their interests annually and this
03:07:02 shall be a standing line to them forever
03:07:04 for my holy priesthood saith the Lord
03:07:06 verily I say unto you it shall come to
03:07:08 pass that those who gather unto the land
03:07:10 of Zion shall be tithered of their
03:07:12 Surplus properties and shall observe
03:07:14 this law or they shall not be found
03:07:16 worthy to abide among you

03:07:24 definition of surplus and also the 1828
03:07:27 definition of standing
03:07:29 which means never changing

03:07:38 the doctrine or Deuteronomy 14 talks
03:07:41 about the tithe that you eat

03:07:57 the main point is here is tithing is
03:08:00 completely misunderstood by
03:08:03 pretty much everybody because they’re

03:08:15 um there’s multiple aspects to tithing
03:08:18 including you give to the poor yourself
03:08:20 also
03:08:23 um so in most churches who reject the
03:08:27 law they reject it all except for
03:08:30 tithing because they want to get rich
03:08:31 off of it yeah
03:08:34 and
03:08:36 um
03:08:37 The Book of Mormon and the New Testament
03:08:40 teaches that preachers are not to be
03:08:44 paid
03:08:45 judges can be
03:08:48 but that’s different than a preacher
03:08:53 preachers are supposed to go get their
03:08:55 own you know what I I I I think they’re
03:08:58 oh I know there are scriptures that say
03:09:01 or something to the effect that you can
03:09:03 receive a wage or something like that
03:09:06 um but then there are also scriptures in
03:09:08 the New Testament that I think you know
03:09:09 that say you cannot serve God and them
03:09:12 and both
03:09:13 so this tips who are Judges can receive
03:09:17 a wage in fact
03:09:19 um in the New Testament in Acts where
03:09:21 those who dispersed
03:09:23 what was gathered their part under the
03:09:27 the Bishops lost judges plus the
03:09:29 levitical priesthood Arena and they do
03:09:32 get a portion of it but the majority of
03:09:34 it actually does go to the poor but for
03:09:38 preaching
03:09:39 you
03:09:41 are not to get anything in fact some
03:09:44 people will say that Paul got paid no
03:09:47 Paul talks about how he uh was a tent
03:09:52 maker to pay his own way now there Paul
03:09:56 does talk about how one time he was sick
03:09:58 and got some money but the Book of
03:10:01 Mormon actually brings that out also is
03:10:03 that
03:10:05 um
03:10:05 that was during a period where
03:10:09 um
03:10:11 he wasn’t able to take care of himself
03:10:13 so he did get some help and there’s the
03:10:15 Book of Mormon talks about that you eat
03:10:17 so if you go to my at the top of my
03:10:20 website you go click on posts
03:10:23 go search for priest craft and I have a
03:10:27 big list of Book of Mormon verses in
03:10:29 that post
03:10:30 and and one of them talks about how you
03:10:33 know the
03:10:35 teachers and hearers don’t uh consider
03:10:38 themselves better than the others and
03:10:39 that they should then go back to the
03:10:41 fields and work from themselves but a
03:10:44 verse close to that
03:10:46 has an exception for those who are sick
03:10:50 so preachers who are sick and can’t work
03:10:52 can get some money but it’s it’s not a
03:10:56 regular thing it’s just during a while
03:10:58 they’re sick and they can’t take care of
03:11:00 themselves just like happened in Paul in
03:11:03 the New Testament where primarily he
03:11:05 made his own money in fact uh even
03:11:09 Yeshua in the New Testament when we sent
03:11:11 the apostles out which Paul was he
03:11:14 stated
03:11:15 you should not take money with you
03:11:18 right because they were supposed to
03:11:21 depend on people letting them
03:11:25 giving them food or shelter for a
03:11:29 maximum of three days
03:11:31 nothing like a guaranteed paycheck for
03:11:36 preaching to the church
03:11:39 Apostles are supposed to go to the world
03:11:41 to the non-believers not to the
03:11:44 Believers well in fact if you read the
03:11:47 Hebrew gospels regarding
03:11:50 um the missions that the apostles were
03:11:52 to go on they weren’t to stay in any one
03:11:54 area for a terribly long time
03:11:57 right and and from my understanding of
03:11:59 the tradition they weren’t supposed to
03:12:01 be there more than three days give or
03:12:03 take right
03:12:05 yeah that’s cool yeah so they weren’t
03:12:09 supposed to stay in any one area for a
03:12:11 long time and become a uh become a drag
03:12:14 on the people
03:12:15 right
03:12:16 right but
03:12:18 people are supporting them because they
03:12:20 were supposed to actually go preach it
03:12:22 to other people not become popular in
03:12:26 one little area right and and like you
03:12:29 were saying Stephen to kind of rely on
03:12:31 the the maybe the mercy and the Good
03:12:35 Will of the people that you’re trying to
03:12:38 teach
03:12:39 correct up to so long right
03:12:44 now
03:12:45 then you move on and then you move on
03:12:48 right because after they start believing
03:12:53 and then get baptized guess what it’s
03:12:55 now the church and not your
03:12:57 responsibility for the apostles anymore
03:12:59 because the apostles are to the
03:13:01 non-believers to get them believed
03:13:04 wouldn’t you believe no and you get
03:13:06 baptized is now the job of the church
03:13:13 so I the LDS church bringing my church
03:13:17 has that way messed up right I mean we
03:13:21 could go this would be a whole other
03:13:23 thing but I have no tell
03:13:26 um the apostles have the same Authority
03:13:29 as the first presidency
03:13:31 and that’s because they actually do
03:13:34 but in different groups of people
03:13:39 because the apostles have that authority
03:13:42 over the non-believers where the first
03:13:44 presidency has it over the church AKA
03:13:47 believers
03:13:49 in fact in the DNC the apostles are very
03:13:52 calmly referred to as the traveling 12
03:13:54 because they’re supposed to be traveling
03:13:56 among the non-believers AKA not staying
03:13:59 more than three or so days because
03:14:01 they’re traveling anyways
03:14:07 yeah they’re supposed to be traveling
03:14:09 traveling ministers establishing
03:14:11 branches of the Gospel yeah traveling

03:17:28 with the you know buffalo head or

03:17:38 know picking up little leaflets and
03:17:39 stuff like that and uh was always
03:17:42 accompanied with police who were showing
03:17:44 him different entrances and exits and
03:17:46 offices and uh anyway so I I bring this
03:17:51 up because just the other day I was
03:17:53 telling my wife well I’ve certainly
03:17:55 warned you that good will be evil and
03:17:59 evil will be good and I I think we’re
03:18:02 seeing the you know like the church as
03:18:04 an example January 6 so many things that
03:18:06 we thought were evil were actually
03:18:09 well you know like anyway you know what

03:18:14 January 6 was a setup and I actually do
03:18:18 believe that the Democrats and the
03:18:21 Republicans were both in on it

03:55:39 they don’t know any better and that’s
03:55:41 because they’re listening to the wrong
03:55:42 teachers as talked about in second Nephi
03:55:44 28. or others their hearts are just
03:55:48 Stone

03:55:52 we don’t know who they are
03:55:55 and so we just have to keep trying to a
03:55:57 certain point
03:55:59 but at the same time don’t try forever
03:56:02 because Yeshua told the apostles
03:56:05 if they reject you dust your feet and
03:56:08 move on
03:56:09 so it can be it’s a tricky balance
03:56:12 because we’re supposed we still need to
03:56:14 teach them
03:56:16 but in general I you could say that
03:56:19 don’t focus on it but if it comes up
03:56:21 again help them but don’t make it a
03:56:24 focus after you do so much with them
03:56:26 yeah
03:56:28 um well that’s why with some people I
03:56:30 already know
03:56:32 that what I do what I’m supposed to do
03:56:35 with this person
03:56:37 is do a pushback
03:56:40 and then just disengage
03:56:44 with some people that’s just you put you
03:56:48 do a pushback to put some truth out
03:56:50 there
03:56:50 and then you disengage
03:56:55 and so that’s that’s what I’ve learned

03:57:03 um like maybe for your depending how
03:57:06 much your family actually
03:57:09 um believes in the Book of Mormon

03:57:13 as in to abide by it like Joseph Smith
03:57:16 taught you can find it in the Book of

03:57:20 yep and then show it to them there

03:57:24 and that’s actually one reason I I’ve
03:57:27 focused on the Book of Mormon a lot
03:57:28 through these years is
03:57:32 it really leaves them without excuse
03:57:36 because it doesn’t miss that The Book of
03:57:39 Mormons for us today so is that how is
03:57:42 it really forced today is it because
03:57:44 we’re supposed to abide by its precepts
03:57:46 oh wait I think Joseph Smith said that

03:57:52 teachers and the law
03:57:55 um yeah so I do find some statements
03:57:58 from that we have today are are
03:58:01 authentically from Joseph Smith not all
03:58:04 of them
03:58:05 but somehow yes

03:58:10 that’s one thing I’ve done

03:58:17 though I have surprisingly have found
03:58:20 some people still have interesting
03:58:22 excuses which is my motivation for my
03:58:25 accept this and accept that post is
03:58:28 actually based on people’s excuses from
03:58:31 Book of Mormon verses but
03:58:34 um I I do think it still makes them
03:58:36 makes it harder and even if they may
03:58:39 come up with an excuse right then
03:58:41 because of their pride I still think it
03:58:44 will get them to cause to think about it
03:58:46 later

03:58:50 it’s right there in the Book of Mormon
03:58:52 so yeah yeah
03:58:57 well I just uh I just felt impressed to
03:59:00 go through the Hebrew gospels since
03:59:02 Stephen was a little disabled that would
03:59:05 just be really really good for everybody
03:59:08 who came yeah I I missed half of it but
03:59:12 what I heard was really good and I like
03:59:15 all the things that you guys touched on
03:59:17 tonight it was really good

03:59:20 you know yeah I the one thing I like
03:59:23 about them is that instead of going
03:59:25 through multiple translations
03:59:27 uh especially those who are generally
03:59:31 translating uh the Hebrew gospels
03:59:33 generally understand the law more

03:59:39 then the Gentiles who did the King James
03:59:42 version which I would say even some of
03:59:45 them
03:59:46 uh had
03:59:47 alternative motives to translations that
03:59:50 they did

03:59:55 translation is a tricky thing and but
03:59:58 I’ll just say it now and I’ll probably
03:59:59 bring it up again

04:00:11 with uh was it Daniel seven
04:00:14 where there’s a phrase in there that a

04:00:22 that it in in a verse it says says like

04:00:29 and and having it being connected going
04:00:31 to the ancient one which we believe that
04:00:34 the restorationists are is Adam but that
04:00:39 likes on a man is confusing but
04:00:43 since Ben gave it to me while I was
04:00:45 working on the nose to double check on
04:00:46 my notes I had on a specific verse I
04:00:49 looked at that because I’m like ah
04:00:51 something’s weird here and guess what
04:00:54 that like has no underlining word in the
04:01:01 Aramaic to justify it that is a complete
04:01:06 translator bias okay
04:01:11 um and so you can see that in Bible Hub
04:01:13 and I’ll show it next week if I don’t
04:01:16 have problems like I did this week
04:01:18 There’s a little side note on that
04:01:20 version that’s something uh Ben helped

04:01:40 credence to the article face as far as
04:01:43 it’s translated correctly because

04:01:48 Aramaic you can get
04:01:50 for that as son of man but they added

04:01:55 to justify their bias because there’s no
04:01:58 underlying word that justifies that
04:02:01 yep okay but everybody instead of
04:02:05 looking at the original language will go
04:02:07 off the what the English says and it
04:02:09 gives restoration is crap on that but
04:02:11 when you actually go to the original
04:02:14 uh array language
04:02:18 on Arabic Arabic
04:02:22 um there’s no justification for it right
04:02:25 okay no justification
04:02:26 mm-hmm
04:02:29 so it just increases that you know the
04:02:33 closer to the original you can get the
04:02:34 better
04:02:36 yeah yeah
04:02:37 you’ve gotta you gotta get back to
04:02:42 stand in order
04:02:43 as close to it as you can get because
04:02:45 there’s because the more steps that it
04:02:49 goes through the more the more
04:02:51 translation processes it goes through
04:02:54 the less reliable if it comes
04:02:58 just like the the
04:03:00 um
04:03:02 telephone game right yeah
04:03:05 for instance not even the Book of Mormon
04:03:08 is 100 reliable in terms of actually
04:03:11 being what Joseph Smith actually
04:03:13 translated yeah the the printer
04:03:16 um made some errors and he didn’t always
04:03:19 go by the manuscript he was given
04:03:22 um in fact on this
04:03:24 sometimes they some of the critics
04:03:28 um criticize for King James version
04:03:30 copies right well that’s because the
04:03:33 printer did that and you can confirm
04:03:35 that by looking at the printers
04:03:37 manuscript versus the 1830. okay
04:03:42 he and he even admits to this that at
04:03:44 times he just copied because the
04:03:46 manuscript she was given didn’t have
04:03:48 punctuation in it and that was hard
04:03:51 and so when you saw something close he
04:03:54 just went to the Bible and copied it
04:03:55 because that was easy
04:03:57 that makes sense
04:04:00 maliciously he was just trying to do his
04:04:03 job in a timely manner and I’m I’m sure
04:04:06 I I couldn’t go through the text really
04:04:09 quick and add punctuation to it that’s
04:04:11 not mine so I I I’m not trying to speak
04:04:15 bad on him just recognize what was going
04:04:17 on well and also recognize that if there
04:04:22 are any differences or anything
04:04:24 anything that seems unreconcilable
04:04:28 between the Book of Mormon text the
04:04:30 third Nephi 15.
04:04:33 and the 30 file a certainly file 11 12
04:04:38 and Matthew 5 in the Hebrew that the
04:04:42 reason for that is probably because
04:04:47 the printer just went ahead and copied
04:04:49 right out of the King James version as
04:04:52 much
04:04:54 um and if I we’d have to go look and if
04:04:58 someone wants to I have a link to start
04:05:00 on my web page to get there but I
04:05:04 believe that’s an area where we don’t
04:05:06 have
04:05:07 the original or printers manuscript to
04:05:10 check on them so
04:05:14 um we can’t say for sure

04:05:20 because of other instances of this same
04:05:23 type of thing it can be shown that so I
04:05:26 think it is very logical

04:05:29 assume that’s what’s going on there
