Summary:

Phil Davis is a wicked teacher. We all teach each other. Melchizedek is of the lineage of Noah. Yeshua is not Melchizedek because of reincarnation. Yeshua was prepared, made ready, before the foundation of the world, as are His servants. “Under the hand” is an idiom for under the teaching. The High Priesthood is given by YHWH’s voice. Only Melchizedek Priesthood has power to command miracles, anyone can ask for them. We don’t have the full Aaronic Priesthood in that we are not doing animal sacrifices yet. We are commanded to have faith in Yeshua, sadly the LDS / Brighamite church changed the Articles of Faith on this point. LDS / Brighamite leaders teach people to have faith NOT to be healed. Hebrew word for ordinance also means law. YHWH’s High Holidays are ordinances / commandments / laws and they teach YHWH’s godliness and who He is. Men who receive the celestial glory will receive the Melchizedek  Priesthood, those who receive the terrestrial glory will have the Aaronic Priesthood, those who receive the telestial glory will receive no priesthood. D&C LDS 131 is tied to abomination known as polygamy. Mysteries are expounding what Torah is. Levirate marriage is a mystery that points us to Yeshua. Yeshua is the older brother that die, the younger brother are the prophets who took care of the church to produce followers for Yeshua. Sermon on Torah / Mount was not replacing Torah but was expounding it. Torah is every word of Yah that is not a prescribed punishment. We will understand more of YHWH’s ways when we keep Torah. Torah teaches us how to be like Yeshua. The Second Comforter is being told you will have eternal life. Duty of the priesthood is to call repentance which includes teaching the law. No man can see YHWH and live in their sins. If you don’t know the law, you will sin. Denying the Holy Spirit is denying Torah which teaches us of the Son. Repenting is returning back to the law. If you reject Torah, even your prayer is an abomination. Hebrews find Torah to be a gift. Holy Spirit is the mind and will of YHWH. Name means character. One definition of spirit is behavior, and we are to be behave holy as He does. To teach things plainly is to make them simple and easy. Real servants of Yeshua will teach people to go to Yeshua and not be dependent upon them. Jacob Isbell’s teaching of a water baptism per degree of glory is false. The three baptisms are of water, of fire and of the holy spirit. Why baptism of water can lead to healings is because if you did it sincerely you are not YHWH’s people, and YHWH people won’t have those diseases. Scriptures state one water baptism. Moses was enacting his right of a leader to protect the people. Mercy is an integral part of Torah. You need baptism of water to be forgiven of your sins. John the Baptist will filled with the most Torah at birth other than Yeshua. Ever since Adam, believers have been looking for a son of man to take away the curse, Yeshua is that man. Only Yeshua can be the Messiah because He is the head of the house and He is the only one who did not sin going through the test. Sermon on Torah / Mount brings out doing the sacrifice was the last part of repentance. Sacrifices were not done such that you can enter the Tabernacle / Temple because you need to do that to be forgiven. YHWH’s ways have never changed even though He has not revealed all understanding yet. John the Baptist taught against the laws of men with Torah. Expounded symbolism of what John wore and ate. John the Baptist did not take away the priesthood. There will a third temple of YHWH. Red Heffer is to be killed after the temple is built not before. Symbolism of ripping cloth is losing authority. Messiah of Joseph is a type of the First Coming of Yeshua. The law is not a distraction, the law is where the power of godliness is manifested. When you have a sincere desire to repent YHWH will give you peace. When you have the desire to repent, you will actually repent. Obedience over sacrifice. Saul got in trouble because he put sacrifice over obedience.

00:00:05 Um, it’s a wonderful another wonderful
00:00:08 Sabbath. And today we’re going to teach
00:00:10 uh a brief little lesson, maybe even not
00:00:14 so brief depending on uh what we’re
00:00:16 reminded of as we study this little
00:00:19 section in the Doctrine and Covenants,
00:00:20 section 84.
00:00:22 Um but
00:00:24 uh what prompted me to study this
00:00:29 section is a sort of just to give a
00:00:31 little backstory here. My history with
00:00:34 the section was I was influenced by a uh
00:00:38 by a wrong teacher who totally twisted
00:00:41 the meaning of the section. And I just
00:00:44 to clarify the wrong teacher I would uh
00:00:47 maybe say false teacher. Yes. or teacher
00:00:52 of of wickedness. Yeah, teacher of
00:00:55 wickedness whose name is Phil Davis. I
00:00:58 do not hesitate to name the name of the
00:01:01 man who
00:01:04 uh who taught me false uh who taught me
00:01:08 falsely who did who actually did me a
00:01:10 great disservice and did me wrong all in
00:01:13 the name of relevance. So what I am
00:01:16 going to do uh is I’m going to teach a
00:01:20 section that he often
00:01:22 taught and I’m going to teach it through
00:01:24 the lens of the law and my dear brother
00:01:27 Stephen of course who is my new teacher
00:01:30 who as of this new we’ve been together
00:01:34 for a while of course of course well I
00:01:36 but you know Phil used to be my teacher
00:01:39 and now you would be considered even
00:01:42 though we’ve been together a while you
00:01:44 would be considered my new teacher.

00:01:47 other. I can understand that maybe I’m
00:01:49 the primary teacher, but we all teach
00:01:50 each other, right? Um and uh so me with
00:01:55 the help
00:01:56 of the primary teacher of this group,
00:02:00 Steven Ratz, we’re going to go over DNC
00:02:02 section 84. And uh we’re going to uh
00:02:08 start in verse 18.

00:02:24 start in verse 14. Um just to give us
00:02:28 some context as to what priesthood we’re
00:02:31 actually talking about.
00:02:34 Um and it’s the holy priesthood. The
00:02:37 priesthood that was given to uh Moses.
00:02:41 uh we go through a genealogy of where
00:02:44 Moses got it from, but it all stems from
00:02:50 the voice of Yahwa. They all got it from
00:02:53 Yahwa. So, uh without further ado, Josh,
00:02:57 do you want to start us off in verse 14?
00:03:01 Sure. Which Abraham received the
00:03:04 priesthood from
00:03:06 MelkiseDC? who received it through the
00:03:08 lineage of his fathers even till Noah.
00:03:11 Keep going. Well, hold on real quick.
00:03:13 So, this um context here is showing it’s
00:03:17 talking about the Melzdc or higher
00:03:19 priesthood or sometimes referred as the
00:03:21 holy priesthood. Okay. Mhm. So, uh
00:03:25 unrelated, but here’s a little caveat
00:03:28 that a lot of people have uh lots of
00:03:30 interesting theories on about who is
00:03:33 Melzdc. Primarily people claim Melzdc is
00:03:36 Yeshua. If you look at this verse here,
00:03:39 it actually shows that’s not the case.
00:03:42 Right. That’s right. Couldn’t possibly
00:03:43 be the case because descended from Noah.
00:03:48 The Well, so here’s the thing. The
00:03:51 erroneous doctrine that has people
00:03:53 saying that it’s
00:03:56 Yeshua is this uh well, at least what
00:03:59 Phil taught. He taught that it was
00:04:02 multiple mortal probations and Yeshua
00:04:05 didn’t get it right the first time. So
00:04:07 he had to start somewhere and he kept on
00:04:09 coming back over and over and over again
00:04:11 to get it right and Melkisedic was just
00:04:14 another iteration of that. So this is
00:04:16 one of the things that I was taught by
00:04:18 Phil Davis is this MMPs which is
00:04:21 completely false. Uh yeah. Um so along
00:04:26 those lines the scripture here’s what
00:04:28 the scriptures do say. Yesua was
00:04:31 prepared and we can go look at that word
00:04:34 if we need to before the foundation of
00:04:38 the world meaning
00:04:41 he was already ready before he came down
00:04:45 the one time his first coming but he’ll
00:04:48 be coming down a second time but not
00:04:50 through uh a woman’s womb he’ll be
00:04:53 coming down out of the clouds and the
00:04:57 revelations says is names Yeshua, the
00:05:00 lamb chosen from the foundation of the
00:05:03 world.
00:05:05 Yeah. And the reason was chosen
00:05:08 because he was going to do it. And on
00:05:11 top of that, um, if so, lectures on
00:05:15 faith, uh, three or four, Ben might be
00:05:19 able to help clarify which
00:05:21 one brings out, um, that if Yeshua was a
00:05:27 changing being, which is what Phil is
00:05:29 implying here with his statement, we
00:05:31 wouldn’t be have be able to have faith
00:05:33 unto eternal life. That is correct. That
00:05:36 would be uh, that would be three. Okay.

00:08:24 other teachers but when you know the
00:08:27 rest of the picture or the gospel the
00:08:31 good news

00:08:35 there you can probably tell which one I
00:08:37 I want to focus on right and this is the
00:08:41 manner after which they were
00:08:43 ordained okay let’s see being
00:08:48 called and prepared

00:08:56 fornowledge of God. Not the
00:08:59 postnowledge, the fornowledge. Yeah.

00:09:21 actual leaders of Yahweh. That’s what

00:09:30 the ultimate example of being prepared

00:11:34 and then we can um go back.

00:13:30 the teaching. Okay. Right. Right. Um and
00:13:33 if I remember correctly even the word
00:13:36 hand someone gets into that but under
00:13:38 the hand if you go research that uh
00:13:40 idiom it’s about under the toutelage
00:13:44 teaching right. So basically the
00:13:48 hand under the hand of if you are
00:13:51 actively guiding someone to a place you
00:13:56 have them you’re holding them by the
00:13:58 hand and you are guiding them by the
00:14:00 hand. Yeah. As in with your works you’re
00:14:04 guiding someone. Exactly. You’re under
00:14:07 their works which what’s the best way to
00:14:11 teach? Oh yeah. By example. Exactly.
00:14:14 Yeshua continuously. Yeshua
00:14:17 continuously. Hey, that’s an eword that
00:14:20 not a lot of people like. Anyways, um
00:14:23 that’s that’s right. Example. All I have
00:14:26 all I have to say is I’ve heard that’s
00:14:28 effective.

00:14:35 do some priesthood lineage there, I

00:16:29 Joseph but you go back to DNC 1 by the
00:16:32 voice of my own servants or mine it is
00:16:35 the same.

00:16:41 that that is the definition. So um well
00:16:46 and you can see this actually borne out
00:16:49 in Torah when the when the people are
00:16:53 put under covenant by the voice of
00:16:57 Moshe rather than the voice of Yok.

00:17:05 the one that taught Eve the
00:17:07 commandments. Yeah. Yeah.

00:17:13 You don’t receive personal commandments
00:17:16 from Yahweh. No. Tell you most people

00:17:34 I swear it’s unknown from all the
00:17:37 interactions that I have had with
00:17:43 people. God Yahwa will never give you
00:17:48 personal commandments that
00:17:50 contradict what he has already given. So

00:18:03 priesthood and that little comment does
00:18:07 have to do with power in the priesthood.

00:18:20 wants to, but Yahweh’s power uh was
00:18:24 received by keeping Torah. Those who
00:18:27 receive the Melzdicc priesthood have
00:18:29 shown Yahweh their striving to keep
00:18:33 Torah. And the one makes sense. The only
00:18:36 priesthood that um has the power to do
00:18:41 miracles is the Melzdic priesthood.

00:18:47 throughout scripture who has ever worked
00:18:50 who has worked a miracle

00:18:57 priesthood. And to be specific the mazdc

00:20:27 what it’s talking about what is without
00:20:29 being days or end of years is the
00:20:32 Melkisedc priesthood. Correct. Not

00:20:42 firstborn is what it’s another name for
00:20:45 it is not here right now. So yeah, there

00:20:51 than you think who wish that it was, but
00:20:53 it’s not. That’s not okay. So, Stephen,

00:21:01 confirmed a priesthood upon uh also upon
00:21:05 Aaron and his seeds. So, this is going
00:21:07 on the ironic priesthood throughout
00:21:10 throughout all their generations. Which
00:21:12 priesthood also continth and abideth
00:21:14 forever with the priesthood which is
00:21:17 after the holy order of God. So, this is
00:21:19 another thing. Priesthood is forever.
00:21:22 And uh to show some support of that, the
00:21:24 ironic priesthood is a subset of the
00:21:27 mazesc priesthood. Mhm. Um and that’s
00:21:32 why it’s Okay. Would you and and this
00:21:35 just may be my bring my
00:21:38 LDS blinders here that I need to lose.

00:21:44 priesthood is kind of like a preparatory
00:21:46 priesthood?

00:22:06 two priesthoods, Melzdc and Right.

00:49:34 impart only according to the portion of
00:49:36 his word, which he doth grant the ch
00:49:40 children ch to the children of men,
00:49:42 according to the heiligence which they

01:13:13 three baptisms. So there are three
01:13:16 baptisms, not three water baptisms

01:13:50 the church was an ironic level baptism.

01:17:25 um he did have the Melkazedc priesthood

01:29:57 of the blood of an innocent man atones

01:30:14 the reasons why um in the book of
01:30:17 Abraham, you read about first three

01:46:12 scriptures. The probably the most famous
01:46:14 one is
01:46:16 when Saul uh ripped Samuel’s uh garment.
01:46:22 Yes. And so it is symbolic of ripping a
01:46:27 covering as aka Yeshua’s covering.
01:46:30 You’ve ripped the covering of Yeshua
01:46:32 that you’re under. So you’re no longer
01:46:34 under it. Uh there are other examples of
01:46:37 it that are less obvious. Ones that I
01:46:39 can think of off the top of my head
01:46:40 because I wasn’t planning on talking
01:46:41 about this is with Joseph
01:46:45 uh
01:46:47 and Piper’s wife. Yes. Potterer’s wife.
01:46:50 Potterer’s wife. uh where she’s
01:46:52 committing adultery which made her uh
01:46:55 lose her authority.

01:47:01 example how uh the Messiah of Joseph is
01:47:04 a type of the first coming
01:47:07 because that’s during the portion of
01:47:09 Joseph’s life that points to the first
01:47:11 coming. There’s other later in his life
01:47:13 points to the second coming but that’s a
01:47:14 different discussion.
01:47:16 Um and there’s some others that I can’t
01:47:19 remember right now off the top of my
01:47:20 head. Sorry, I haven’t looked at the
01:47:22 subject for a while, but you get the
01:47:23 idea here. That when the veil was ripped
01:47:28 is when they lost their priesthood
01:47:31 authority. It John didn’t take it away.

01:47:38 for if Melzdc and well I should say
01:47:42 since the Melzdc priesthood comes from
01:47:44 the voice of Yahw it’s only the voice of
01:47:47 Yahw that could take or something that

01:47:54 so that’s that makes it an interesting

01:47:58 um that with the priesthood being taken
01:48:01 away I get the with the priesthood being

01:48:08 priesthood to perform those sacrifices

01:48:12 taken. The members of the early
01:48:15 Christian church
01:48:17 continued in those offering and
01:48:20 continued in the offerings
01:48:23 um in spite in spite of that which is an
01:48:26 interesting thing. Uh I my speculation
01:48:29 was that they didn’t understand.
01:48:32 Yeah. But the fact that they still did
01:48:35 them shows that they believe they still
01:48:36 need to be done. So, well, it I’m not
01:48:40 talking about the daily lambs. I’m
01:48:42 talking about the other offerings, the
01:48:43 sin offerings. They Yeah. So am I. Okay.
01:48:46 Because they they knew they still needed
01:48:48 to be done. They they never You’ll see
01:48:50 nothing in the New Testament about doing
01:48:52 the daily lambs. Yeah, that’s true.
01:48:55 That’s true. So, yeah. So, it’s more a
01:48:57 matter of they knew they needed to be
01:48:59 done, but
01:49:02 they probably didn’t understand what
01:49:04 happened would be my educated guess.

01:49:09 good and that’s a decent enough answer

01:49:19 Sanhedrin they took authority away and
01:49:22 not the tribe of Levi. So there’s

01:49:32 maybe the answer is he didn’t take away
01:49:34 from everyone, just the ones that uh put

01:49:40 Sanhedrin, the top guys. So um that is
01:49:44 one that we’ll have to think a little
01:49:45 bit more on. Right. And ultimately the
01:49:48 reason he could do it, it’s
01:49:50 because it it’s his hands that are given
01:49:54 all power.
01:49:56 Yeah. Yeah. Uh because he’s the only one
01:49:59 that has the power then given because
01:50:00 he’s the only one that kept the Torah
01:50:02 perfectly while going through a test.

01:50:08 And that no one else could do as
01:50:12 lectures on faith brings up. Well, and
01:50:14 what great mercy we have that we had a
01:50:18 loving Yahwa who condescended below all
01:50:22 things to
01:50:26 perform to perform the atonement for us.
01:50:30 That that is the ultimate expression of
01:50:34 mercy and also the ultimate expression
01:50:37 of the power of
01:50:40 godliness because he lived it. Mhm. As
01:50:44 it says up here earlier in the chapter,
01:50:48 therefore in the ordinances or therefore
01:50:50 in the law
01:50:52 thereof, he lived the law and the power
01:50:56 of godliness was manifested through him.
01:51:00 Yeah. Because he kept the law. Exactly.
01:51:05 So I guess my closing remarks for

01:51:15 it’s the ordinances that they’re
01:51:17 speaking of are
01:51:20 not first, second, third, fourth, fifth,
01:51:25 6th, 7th, thousandth
01:51:28 uh versions of water baptisms.

01:53:03 eternal punishment that you’ve received.
01:53:05 Yeah. Act justly because of your
01:53:07 actions. Right. So,
01:53:11 please repent, which is turning to the
01:53:18 law or returning to Torah and the law.
01:53:21 Yeah. Right.
01:53:23 and come unto
01:53:27 Yahwa. Take his way upon you. Take his
01:53:30 burden upon
01:53:32 you. It is
01:53:34 light. His
01:53:37 burden is. So I I I just want to clarify
01:53:41 this a little bit. Have the desire to
01:53:44 repent and you will receive peace. Just
01:53:47 the desire. And you can see this through
01:53:49 the examples and the scriptures. My
01:53:51 favorite one is Elma the Younger. He was
01:53:54 coma when he got the peace. He couldn’t
01:53:56 do any work. He couldn’t do any
01:53:58 repentance. All he could do is have the
01:54:00 desire.
01:54:03 It’s the desire that does it. But when
01:54:06 you are sincere with that desire, you
01:54:08 will actually do it. But he was forgiven
01:54:12 before he did any work despite what um
01:54:16 bishops of the LDS and the Catholic and
01:54:20 pretty much
01:54:21 every denomination out there requires.
01:54:25 It’s a change of heart which you can’t
01:54:28 see. That’s why it’s Yeshua who grants
01:54:32 the baptism of fire, not a man. Because
01:54:34 only Yeshua knows the hearts if it’s
01:54:36 sincere or not. And if you really have
01:54:38 that desire. Yes.
01:54:41 Anyways, so that is my message.
01:54:47 Repent.
01:54:49 Come unto Yahwa. Take his atonement upon
01:54:54 you. And as you
01:54:57 live the law and accept the atonement
01:55:01 and and really embrace the
01:55:05 atonement and follow the law, then will
01:55:09 the power of godliness be manifest in
01:55:13 your life.
01:55:16 Yeah. And one example is if nothing else
01:55:18 when we talked about prayers getting
01:55:20 answered.
01:55:22 Yeah. Yeah. because they’re no longer an
01:55:24 abomination.
01:55:27 You don’t have to stay on your knees for
01:55:31 hours. You just have to strive to keep
01:55:33 his law, his door. Wear out your knee
01:55:35 pads.
01:55:38 In fact, with this uh example of uh Saul
01:55:43 losing the priesthood and the ripping of
01:55:45 a garment, one thing that Samuel said
01:55:48 was, “I Yahweh
01:55:51 desires righteousness over sacrifice.”
01:55:56 Obedience over sacrifice. Obedience.
01:55:58 Yeah. Well, obedience righteousness. But
01:56:00 yeah. Yeah. Obedience over sacrifice,
01:56:06 which is which is obedience is Oh yeah.
01:56:10 keeping Torah. Yeah. Oh my goodness.
01:56:14 Sacrifice. If you’re emphasizing
01:56:16 sacrifice over obedience, you are
01:56:18 actually pushing the devil’s way. Yeah.
01:56:21 Yeah. This is what got Saul in trouble.
01:56:26 Yeah. He did sacrifice over obedience.
01:56:32 Yeah,
01:56:34 that is what
01:56:36 uh severed him from
01:56:42 Yahweh. Be
01:56:44 obedient. Be diligent.
01:56:48 Seek to
01:56:50 sanctify
01:56:53 yourselves so that way you may
01:56:58 be
01:57:01 found worthy to be in the
01:57:04 presence of
01:57:06 Yahwa that great d and that at that
01:57:09 great and dreadful day. Make it a great
01:57:12 day, not a dreadful day. Right? And and
01:57:14 if you are obeying, it will be a great
01:57:18 day. It will be dreadful if you are not
01:57:22 obeying Torah. Yeah. And you are not
01:57:26 embracing the atonement of Yeshua
01:57:28 Hamashiach.

01:58:23 meaning. I love the ways of Yah.
01:58:28 Am I perfect?
01:58:31 No. But I do strive to keep his
01:58:34 commandments which he has given
01:58:38 me. And I hope my hope is that in his
01:58:45 timing I will be able to receive the
01:58:50 mysteries of the kingdom.
01:58:53 even more knowledge of God as I continue
01:58:57 to live his law and embrace his
