00:08:37 good I haven’t read them and listened to
00:08:40 them multiple times and I’ve felt
00:08:43 comfortable and good about the teachings
00:08:46 there so it’s the stuff that is teaching
00:08:48 is actually all over the Book of Mormon
00:08:51 the problem is it makes things a little
00:08:54 more clear and blunt that they can’t run
00:08:57 away from it makes it less mystical it

00:09:05 here the Holy Spirit and the holy ghosts

00:11:09 Commandments to the book of Doctrine and
00:11:12 Covenants

00:11:16 synonymous words

00:20:14 so on love Elohim and love your neighbor

00:20:25 which all the other laws hang upon that

00:20:30 you want but the basic idea
00:20:32 is Torah is how Yahweh wants us to love

00:20:40 neighbors

00:20:44 first five deal with how Yahweh wants us
00:20:46 to love him and our parents which

00:20:51 um and then the last five deals with how
00:20:54 he wants us to love our neighbor

00:20:59 um so all of Torah is just how Yahweh
00:21:02 wants us to love him and his neighbor
00:21:04 and part of loving him is how he wants
00:21:08 us to worship Him was the fourth
00:21:11 Commandment keep the Sabbath holy yep

00:21:19 there’s three types of sabbaths the
00:21:21 weekly Sabbath the moonly Sabbath and
00:21:24 the annual Sabbath

00:21:29 the weekly Sabbath is based on the moon
00:21:32 cycles and then the day of atonement is
00:21:35 the yearly Sabbath and what was the
00:21:37 other one you said the moonly so new

00:32:41 idiom for Torah why would you think you

00:35:11 Jew s and they looked beyond the mark
00:35:13 and they looked for all those Mysteries
00:35:15 and any anything that you want or need
00:35:19 to know from God it should be to do the
00:35:21 work he’s asking you to do period

00:35:29 it’s for the wrong reason and you’re
00:35:31 going to open yourself to deception yes

00:37:25 thing that’s interesting here that I
00:37:27 find is that this um Widow was looking
00:37:33 for two sticks
00:37:37 right now the
00:37:41 Joseph Smith or I should say Joseph
00:37:43 Smith who is in Elijah the modern Elijah
00:37:47 the last Elijah what did he do
00:37:51 he translated one stick
00:37:54 and corrected important parts in another
00:37:58 stick
00:37:59 yes
00:38:00 and so I find it interesting
00:38:03 here’s this old lady
00:38:05 and women are representatives of
00:38:08 churches looking for two sticks because
00:38:12 if you go look at the surface level of
00:38:15 this history right she’s looking for
00:38:18 sticks so she can make a fire
00:38:21 two sticks is not gonna make a fire
00:38:25 all right that’s not enough
00:38:27 okay so this is really pointing to the
00:38:32 Stick of Judah and the Stick of Joseph
00:38:36 and when you really do believe those two
00:38:39 sticks guess what you will cause the
00:38:41 baptism of Fire

00:38:47 is an action word
00:38:50 yes yes yeah
00:38:54 um where because of the Hellenistic
00:38:58 World We believe that we are in today
00:39:00 you they just want to make it something
00:39:03 that you just think rather than what you
00:39:06 do but in Hebrew belief is an action
00:39:09 word like Faith hence what James
00:39:12 statement you can show me your faith
00:39:15 uh by your words but I’ll show you my
00:39:18 faith by my words which is action right

00:39:27 in fact in many ways in many ways in
00:39:30 Hebrew thought faith and belief are
00:39:31 almost synonymous

00:39:40 a major difference between them not even

00:39:57 Elijah having
00:39:59 Birds giving him bread
00:40:03 is just like how Joseph Smith had Angels

00:40:46 now it’s also interesting that this new
00:40:49 king that happened with Isaiah guess
00:40:52 what he got rid of idolatry just like
00:40:58 uh during the millennium
00:41:00 idolatry will get rid of will disappear
00:41:03 during under the reign of Yeshua
00:41:06 and the same King had a war at the end
00:41:11 of his Reign just like how there will be
00:41:14 a war at the end of the millennium
00:41:19 and that shame King
00:41:22 yes the same King was brought near unto
00:41:25 death
00:41:27 and brought back for another 10 years
00:41:32 that’s right I forgot about that that is
00:41:34 a very good point

00:41:42 was what caused time change

00:41:49 going to happen during the Millennium

00:42:52 Babylon even or will surround Zion even

00:43:03 so another one that I thought about well
00:43:05 uh with uh Joshua being the Redeemer
00:43:08 right yeah that’s how uh the sun Stood
00:43:12 Still was to me goes along how uh time’s
00:43:17 Gonna Change uh and also how
00:43:21 um and I think it’s an Isaiah or the
00:43:25 Psalms that talks about how the light is
00:43:27 going to be so great it’s going to put
00:43:29 because Yeshua is going to be here on
00:43:31 Earth in his Reign is going to put the
00:43:33 Sun and the Moon
00:43:35 in shame because the light is going to
00:43:38 come from Yeshua right yeah
00:43:41 and so I can see some connection there
00:43:44 with that yeah
00:43:46 uh but yeah I I I I yeah I love Isaiah I
00:43:52 love that time period
00:43:54 well right there’s just a lot of
00:43:58 um
00:43:59 parallels with the Millennium and he
00:44:01 talks about it a lot too right yes he
00:44:03 does uh and I and that chapter that she
00:44:07 talked about Isaiah Chapter 58
00:44:10 that is some that’s some fine fine stuff
00:44:14 and he in I in that chapter it mentioned
00:44:17 Sabbath’s in plural
00:44:19 yeah yeah oh because there’s three
00:44:22 sabbaths right exactly just one there’s
00:44:25 three the weekly the annual
00:44:28 and then the Moonlight and nobody could
00:44:31 explain that to me nobody could explain
00:44:33 that to me until
00:44:35 the uh until the lunar Sabbath was
00:44:39 introduced and I was like oh it was
00:44:41 introduced to me by you and I was like
00:44:42 oh wait a minute now I understand what
00:44:45 this means yeah yeah there’s there’s
00:44:47 multiple places where it talks about
00:44:49 sabbaths in the in the plural including
00:44:52 DNC 59 right yeah
00:44:56 so there’s multiple scriptures uh that
00:45:00 bring out how there’s multiple
00:45:02 um a lot of people don’t um
00:45:06 think about it right so
00:45:08 for whatever reason Yahweh put it on my
00:45:11 heart to really study into that so yeah

00:45:16 and I do believe that it’s because the
00:45:19 sabbaths are the sealed I agree I do

00:45:32 subject of the sabbaths that the Lord
00:45:34 was uh was able to pry me away from the
00:45:37 deception that I fell into after uh

00:45:43 when I was with Phil I had basically
00:45:46 left the church I was just hanging
00:45:47 around to try to find new recruits

00:45:53 well it’s interesting that the Sabbath
00:45:55 um kind of brought you out of that
00:45:58 um because I really wasn’t looking for

00:46:01 for whatever reason Yahweh just really
00:46:04 put on my heart to really figure that

00:50:32 wondering what is the purpose of life

00:50:38 is to keep yahweh’s Commandments and to
00:50:42 help others do the same that’s the
00:50:44 purpose of life it I it’s pretty simple
00:50:48 man the search of a lifetime simple
00:50:51 thought given and fit in the results

00:52:14 um and as we start expounding various
00:52:17 parts as we read through this it’ll
00:52:19 become more clear but keep that in mind
00:52:21 as we go through it okay and then the
00:52:24 main and in several places there are
00:52:26 also um in several places there are also
00:52:30 stuff that useful teachings that we can
00:52:33 apply for ourselves as well oh yes yes
00:52:37 uh as always in the and you’re the word
00:52:41 of Yahweh it’s uh given to us to help us
00:52:44 become more like him right yes
00:52:47 um but I I just
00:52:50 uh
00:52:52 if I had to pick a section uh of the
00:52:55 Book of Mormon that’s my favorite
00:52:57 I I would actually kind of say this
00:53:00 um I and I used to say well what was the
00:53:04 last one I read right because there’s
00:53:07 tons of the Book of Mormon is good but
00:53:09 when this
00:53:11 was opened up to me from Yahweh what
00:53:13 this actually is about it’s about him
00:53:16 in his mortal Ministry which is a key
00:53:20 thing it that is the gospel right that
00:53:23 is the good news
00:53:27 what he did for us
00:53:30 I I know sometimes I talk about the law
00:53:33 a lot and that’s because I want to
00:53:36 become like him but if it wasn’t for him
00:53:40 it would all be for naught right neither
00:53:43 one of us could become like him if he
00:53:45 had not done what he did right because
00:53:47 we all have sinned except for him
00:53:50 um
00:53:51 so
00:53:53 anyways that’s probably a good intro you
00:53:56 know somebody wants to say anything oh
00:53:58 let’s let’s just get into the word okay
00:54:02 all right so
00:54:05 um let’s start with the
00:54:07 the intro and this intro here is not a
00:54:11 McConkey intro but this is this would be
00:54:14 a Mormon intro right an intro from
00:54:17 Mormon because this is actually from the
00:54:19 gold plates okay
00:54:23 um I’ll read it
00:54:25 an account of the sons of mosiah uh
00:54:28 which would um
00:54:31 represent the apostles and just Mankind
00:54:33 in general right account of the sons of
00:54:36 mosiah count of the sun which rejected
00:54:39 their rights to the kingdom for the word
00:54:41 who turned who put aside his kingdom to
00:54:45 come down and teach the word of God
00:54:49 right as in the rights of the kingdom of
00:54:52 the world
00:54:53 to teach the ways of Yahweh right yeah
00:54:58 to preach the gospel to most Limited
00:55:01 right right the the ones who were lost
00:55:04 the world in fact on this I I mean I’m
00:55:07 already high tracking and we’re only
00:55:09 reading a summary but I I do
00:55:14 find
00:55:16 that when Peter was called it was at the
00:55:20 shore
00:55:23 that’s very prophetic
00:55:26 Yeshua
00:55:28 went to the very edge
00:55:31 to where the people of the world
00:55:36 are to preach people
00:55:38 and he called Peter
00:55:43 to catch fish out of that deep sea
00:55:49 that is what the apostles are supposed
00:55:50 to be doing to go out to the world to
00:55:53 the non-believers
00:55:55 to
00:55:57 find those fish that will believe in the
00:56:00 word of Yahweh and take them out of the
00:56:03 deep sea Apostles are not only
00:56:07 are we’re not called to preach to the
00:56:10 church
00:56:12 Apostles that the actual word itself
00:56:15 means sent ones sent to the world as
00:56:18 representatives to those who don’t
00:56:21 already know him
00:56:24 right
00:56:26 they are supposed to go out and about
00:56:29 and
00:56:31 to the world so I’m going to pause one
00:56:34 minute
00:56:35 um if I can find the button
00:56:40 all right so uh I think we read the
00:56:46 third line no yeah just the third line
00:56:48 yeah yeah yeah and so there’s sufferings
00:56:51 and deliverance according to the record
00:56:53 of Alma now considering what I do
00:56:57 believe these
00:57:00 um chapters lead up to I do find it very
00:57:04 prophetic
00:57:06 that is talking about the suffering and
00:57:08 deliverance okay because that is what
00:57:11 Yeshua did he suffered all that he may
00:57:15 Deliver Us okay
00:57:18 um
00:57:19 so and it’s also interesting just the
00:57:22 land of the Nephi is the original
00:57:25 promised land that the lehights went to
00:57:28 right
00:57:30 and where did Yeshua do his Immortal
00:57:32 Ministry
00:57:34 in Jerusalem the Promised Land
00:57:37 just like the land of Nephi was the
00:57:39 promised land the initial Promised Land
00:57:41 right so there there’s even a lot of
00:57:45 prophetic stuff inside the summary from
00:57:49 the gold plates that Mormon put right
00:57:52 yeah
00:57:53 so
00:57:55 um Zach you want to read verse one
00:58:02 I came to pass that is Alma was
00:58:05 journeyed
00:58:06 in the land of the Gideon Southward
00:58:08 way to the land of the anti
00:58:11 the Altus astonishment he met Sons
00:58:16 returning towards the land of Zar hammer
00:58:21 so I I do
00:58:23 um so this is a little
00:58:26 Preamble going on right uh before he
00:58:30 didn’t reminisces about what’s uh what
00:58:33 they went through but it’s interesting
00:58:35 here even this this little Preamble
00:58:37 talks about how
00:58:40 um
00:58:41 Emma was going to the land Southward
00:58:44 and that can relate to as a going to
00:58:47 hell and that he met other brothers
00:58:51 that were in the ministry
00:58:55 just as Yeshua
00:58:58 went to hell and met other believers
00:59:00 there and actually set them free which
00:59:03 is uh brought out more later through the
00:59:06 account if we depending how far we get
00:59:08 right
00:59:10 um
00:59:11 so I’ll read verse 2
00:59:13 . now these sons of Messiah
00:59:16 were with Alma at the time that the
00:59:19 angel first appeared unto him
00:59:23 therefore Emma did rejoiced exceedingly
00:59:26 to see his Brethren that they what added
00:59:29 more to his joy that they were still his
00:59:31 brethren in Yahweh yea they had wax
00:59:35 strong in the knowledge of the truth
00:59:38 for they had for they were men of sound
00:59:41 understanding they were and they had
00:59:44 searched the scriptures diligently okay
00:59:46 so
00:59:48 um oh let me finish reading and they
00:59:50 might know the word of Elohim so it’s
00:59:53 not that they read the scriptures
00:59:56 diligently is that they search the
00:59:59 scriptures diligently and there’s a big
01:00:01 difference between reading and searching
01:00:05 searching is when you have questions and
01:00:07 you’re looking for answers reading is
01:00:11 more like you have a reading assignment
01:00:13 you’re trying to get something done in a
01:00:15 certain amount of time or searching but
01:00:18 reading can lead to searching it can it
01:00:21 can’t when you re when you as you read
01:00:23 the um as you read
01:00:27 the meaning of the the
01:00:30 uh the word itself might indicate to you
01:00:34 that there is a deeper meaning correct
01:00:37 uh I guess the main thing I wanted to
01:00:39 bring out and maybe I exaggerated a
01:00:41 little bit there is the key thing is
01:00:43 that they’re searching the scriptures
01:00:45 they’re they’re knocking and seeking
01:00:48 they’re asking questions yeah they’re
01:00:51 not just accomplishing a rope task
01:00:54 correct
01:00:56 um so the first thing I want to bring
01:00:58 out is
01:01:00 the sons of mosiah or sons of the King
01:01:04 mosiah right uh which would also point
01:01:07 to Yeshua where with Alma at the time of
01:01:10 the first appearance unto him
01:01:15 um this is going back when Alma the
01:01:17 younger saw Yahweh and what is the first
01:01:19 time that we saw Yahweh
01:01:21 in the pre-existence
01:01:23 and the councils right oh yes yes and so
01:01:27 this is kind of leading even to uh uh um
01:01:34 before we came down here on Earth right
01:01:37 um and Alma
01:01:40 was glad to see his Brethren but the
01:01:44 main re what added to his Joy is that
01:01:46 they still believed in Yahweh even
01:01:49 through
01:01:50 the turbulences of mortal life AKA they
01:01:54 endured to the end right
01:01:57 yep they were men of sound understanding
01:02:01 you know searching the scriptures does
01:02:04 have that effect you will become a
01:02:07 person of sound understanding uh and you
01:02:10 will not be blown about by every little
01:02:12 doctrine that comes along
01:02:14 you mean every like oh Yeshua put it in
01:02:16 the New Testament every
01:02:17 tossed to and fro with every wind of
01:02:20 Doctrine yeah
01:02:22 exactly
01:02:24 um if you want to know Doctrine
01:02:28 um so on on knowing Doctrine there’s two
01:02:32 important parts one finding a good
01:02:33 teacher and two testing what he says to
01:02:37 the scriptures just as in Acts 17 with
01:02:39 Paul right yeah it’s it’s not enough to
01:02:42 have somebody talk at you
01:02:44 you actually have to search yourself
01:02:47 right but I mean we are commanded to
01:02:50 meet together at every Sabbath to help
01:02:53 enrich each other in the understanding
01:02:55 of the word oh well yeah but and that’s
01:02:57 that’s what actually gives you the stuff
01:02:59 to search out right right
01:03:02 um that can be some of the things to
01:03:04 search out
01:03:05 but I I am just trying to bring out
01:03:08 there’s
01:03:09 um one searching the scriptures yourself
01:03:13 and then also learning from others right
01:03:16 yes yes
01:03:17 um but also then testing what other
01:03:19 people say because there’s a lot of
01:03:21 false preachers
01:03:23 and here’s the thing for the most part
01:03:26 most of us are going to be turned on to
01:03:28 our
01:03:29 um Journey with Yahweh
01:03:32 by the word of another
01:03:33 right which is actually stated in
01:03:35 lectures on faith too uh 56. so let’s
01:03:39 let’s go look at that real quick because
01:03:41 I do think that’s an important point
01:03:45 um and I think that’s worth side
01:03:46 tracking on
01:03:48 yeah
01:03:49 um
01:03:59 okay
01:04:03 um you want to read that Zach six

01:04:16 we have now clearly set forth how it is
01:04:18 how it was
01:04:20 that level him became an object to face
01:04:23 professional duties
01:04:25 and also upon what Foundation the
01:04:27 testimony was based
01:04:29 which excited the inquiry intelligent
01:04:33 search of the ancient Saints
01:04:35 to seek after and obtain a knowledge of
01:04:38 Gloria Elohim
01:04:39 and we have seen that it was human
01:04:41 testimony
01:04:43 and human testimony only
01:04:45 and it excited this inquiry
01:04:48 in the first instance in their minds
01:04:51 it was the Credence that they gave to
01:04:54 the testimony of their fathers
01:04:56 this testimony having aroused their
01:04:59 minds to inquire after the knowledge of
01:05:00 Allah
01:05:02 the inquiry frequently
01:05:04 turned you know terminated indeed always
01:05:07 terminated
01:05:09 when rightly pursued
01:05:12 in the most glorious discoveries and
01:05:15 eternal certainty
01:05:17 yeah
01:05:18 so uh those who believe
01:05:24 teach
01:05:26 and do the word is who got other people
01:05:30 interested to seek it out on their own
01:05:33 right
01:05:34 yep it starts with doing then go then
01:05:39 you go to then you proceed to teach then
01:05:42 because that’s actually you know it’s uh
01:05:45 in my past that’s always that’s that’s
01:05:48 the way
01:05:49 that’s the way it’s been I learned to do
01:05:53 that I teach
01:05:56 well that’s the pattern that’s
01:05:58 established throughout the scriptures
01:05:59 including the Book of Mormon and the DNC
01:06:01 specifically uh Revelation with Hiram
01:06:04 where Hiram wanted to preach right but
01:06:07 Yahweh told hire me he first needed to
01:06:09 learn before he could teach yep so
01:06:14 um and it’s it’s all over the place but
01:06:16 that’s just one example right yeah
01:06:18 Doctrine and Covenant section 11.
01:06:20 that’s a good section too yeah yeah uh
01:06:23 most of the DNC is really good all right
01:06:27 but anyways you want to read uh verse
01:06:30 three
01:06:31 but this is not all
01:06:34 they’ve given themselves too much prayer
01:06:36 and fasting
01:06:37 therefore they have the spirit of
01:06:39 Prophecy and the spirit of Revelation
01:06:42 and when they taught they taught with
01:06:44 power and authority even as even as with
01:06:46 the power and authority of other people
01:06:49 okay
01:06:50 um do you have something you want to add
01:06:52 before I add some stuff okay
01:06:54 um
01:06:57 the in the interesting wording there
01:06:59 they had given themselves
01:07:01 they’ve given themselves to much parent
01:07:03 fasting that means that they themselves
01:07:06 had chosen to fast there’s only one
01:07:09 commanded fast throughout the year
01:07:11 and that is day of atonement
01:07:15 all other fasts
01:07:18 it’s dependent on how much you want to
01:07:20 know yo
01:07:22 right right and different people have a
01:07:25 stronger desire than others to do that
01:07:28 uh specifically the teachers uh
01:07:31 generally will have a stronger desire
01:07:34 um but if you don’t have that desire
01:07:38 don’t worry about it because uh there’s
01:07:41 different parts of the body of Yeshua
01:07:43 right that’s right and every part is
01:07:46 absolutely necessary and the feet of the
01:07:49 body of Yeshua will be just as Celestial
01:07:51 as the head of it right and and for
01:07:54 example I’m not a singer
01:07:57 but I I do find the songs that other
01:08:00 people make and seem uplifting and
01:08:02 actually helpful for me
01:08:04 but you don’t want to listen to me to
01:08:06 sing okay
01:08:08 it all it’ll probably make you not want
01:08:11 to go to church but anyways
01:08:15 that’s that’s not my thing that to me is
01:08:19 the big thing there but they had given
01:08:22 themselves too much prayer and fasting
01:08:25 right
01:08:26 it’s not that they have been told by
01:08:29 some they’ve been told by some
01:08:31 Supernatural entity that they needed to
01:08:33 do a 40-day fast
01:08:35 no they had chosen to fast they had
01:08:38 chosen they had chosen to pray they’ve
01:08:41 chosen to pray three times a day plus
01:08:43 all those ex was all day having a prayer
01:08:46 in their hearts
01:08:48 um
01:08:49 and this kind of thing and that in
01:08:53 combination with searching the
01:08:55 scriptures diligently but they might
01:08:57 know the word of God
01:08:59 made it so that they had the spirit the
01:09:01 spirit of Prophecy and the spirit of
01:09:03 Revelation the spirit of Prophecy the
01:09:04 spirit of Revelation is Torah
01:09:07 correct
01:09:09 uh which because there is no prophecy
01:09:13 without Torah for all prophecy is
01:09:15 reiterating the promises of Torah
01:09:18 um
01:09:19 in One Direction or the other in
01:09:21 different ways
01:09:23 um
01:09:27 not that that I ever promote anything
01:09:30 but I do have a post that brings out how
01:09:33 prophecy is contained within Torah
01:09:39 um
01:09:40 uh I might be biased but I do like the
01:09:42 post but anyways
01:09:44 I’m being honest I’m biased
01:09:47 um so uh so I if you’re done I have a
01:09:51 couple of thoughts to add go ahead okay
01:09:53 so uh with regarding uh with this
01:09:57 pointing back to yeshua’s Mortal
01:09:58 Ministry and the effects of it that it
01:10:02 has upon us that happen at the end of it
01:10:04 right
01:10:06 um it is interesting to note that Yeshua
01:10:10 uh after he was baptized at the
01:10:13 beginning of his mortal Ministry he went
01:10:15 and fasted for 40 days and 40 nights
01:10:18 right
01:10:19 so here is uh Ammon and it doesn’t
01:10:24 specify Ammon here but emin’s included
01:10:27 here
01:10:28 um right yeah um but
01:10:32 interesting there are mortal Ministry
01:10:34 was started
01:10:36 with fasting and prayer just as yeshua’s
01:10:40 mortal Ministry was started with fasting
01:10:43 and prayer and just an interesting note
01:10:46 uh
01:10:47 there is a section in the Doctrine and
01:10:50 Covenants where
01:10:52 Yeshua refers to himself as sonamon
01:10:58 should we go look at that real quick
01:11:00 yeah okay so let me pause real quick
01:11:03 okay
01:11:07 okay yeah so we found the scripture that
01:11:09 I was looking for uh that actually ties
01:11:13 Ammon to the Lord even in the way that
01:11:17 the Lord identifies himself uh as a type
01:11:20 and let the higher part of the Court be
01:11:22 dedicated unto me for the school of mine
01:11:24 Apostles saith son Aman or in other
01:11:27 words or in other words omegas even
01:11:30 Jesus Christ your lord
01:11:33 men and so
01:11:37 Aman Ammon is a the Ammon is a variant
01:11:41 on Amman
01:11:43 um and so
01:11:45 the the uh
01:11:48 yeah the the it’s uh
01:11:52 you know the Amman is an older Egyptian
01:11:55 the Ammon is a more is the reformed
01:11:58 Egyptian that aspect of it so but the
01:12:02 two are actually so the two are inexplic
01:12:05 inextricably connected by the name alone
01:12:09 no so but yes uh definitely an almost 17
01:12:12 and Beyond chapters uh Ammon is a type
01:12:17 of Yeshua right yes I think that’s the
01:12:21 main thing that you’re you’re bringing
01:12:22 out here yes
01:12:25 so
01:12:26 um
01:12:28 let’s see so we were I just brought out
01:12:30 how uh Yeshua started his mortal
01:12:33 Ministry with fasting and so did these
01:12:36 uh
01:12:38 uh this group did which includes Ammon
01:12:41 in here right and the other thing that
01:12:45 is stated in the New Testament
01:12:47 throughout is that Yeshua taught with
01:12:50 power and authority
01:12:53 right
01:12:55 and here in verse 3 it brings out
01:12:59 uh
01:13:01 that they also taught with power and
01:13:04 authority okay so that’s another thing
01:13:07 that points it to yeshua’s Mortal
01:13:10 Ministry Christy are you willing to go
01:13:13 ahead and ask with the power and
01:13:14 authority
01:13:17 yes yeah not not the ideas of scribes
01:13:22 and rabbis but with the Power Authority
01:13:24 of Yahweh and so when we are so and so
01:13:27 when we teach
01:13:28 if we are not living such that we can
01:13:31 teach with this power and authority
01:13:35 um
01:13:36 there’s just a thought
01:13:40 that we may be uh
01:13:44 that we that we may be we may be taking
01:13:49 and we may be taking lightly the call in
01:13:52 which we have been divided
01:13:53 if we are not living so so we can teach
01:13:55 with this power of the Lord sure exactly
01:13:59 because uh
01:14:01 um without the power and authority you
01:14:03 may convince some people
01:14:05 but
01:14:06 um
01:14:07 the more that you live it and keep it
01:14:10 the more people you can convert because
01:14:12 you’ll be able to speak with the power
01:14:14 and authority and not just your own
01:14:15 opinion right yeah
01:14:18 um so Christy are you willing to read
01:14:21 verse four
01:14:24 uh-huh yeah for sure okay
01:14:26 neighbors or
01:14:28 they have been teaching the word of God
01:14:30 for the space of 14 years among the
01:14:33 lamanites having had much success in
01:14:35 bringing many to the knowledge of the
01:14:37 truth gay by the power of their words
01:14:39 many were brought before the altar of
01:14:42 Elohim to call on his name and confess
01:14:44 their sins before him
01:14:47 so one thing to bring out is 14 is a
01:14:51 Messianic number
01:14:54 um in fact even the uh David when you do
01:15:00 the uh
01:15:02 jamachery I have a hard time with it
01:15:07 on his name it adds up to 14.
01:15:11 um and then also when doing the
01:15:13 genealogies of Yeshua in the New
01:15:16 Testament it’s three sections of 14.
01:15:19 okay 14 is a very Messianic number okay
01:15:24 yes uh which I think appoints to uh what
01:15:29 this
01:15:30 section of scriptures is about it’s
01:15:33 about the Messiah here yes
01:15:36 and also my question a question there’s
01:15:41 a question that has been posed about
01:15:43 those genealogies that um perhaps steps
01:15:46 were left out
01:15:48 genealogically to make them three sets
01:15:51 of 14. Yeah well yeah they’re they’re
01:15:53 not perfect genealogies yeah but this
01:15:57 this is a difference between a Hebrew
01:15:59 mind and a Greek mind right keep your
01:16:03 mind is more worried about the imagery
01:16:04 and the symbolism and the intent whereas
01:16:08 a great mind is more worried about all
01:16:10 your
01:16:11 eyes are dotted and your t’s are crossed
01:16:13 right right exactly or or that it being
01:16:17 explicitly perfectly stated and nothing
01:16:20 left out right are more interested in
01:16:25 making tense yeah yeah the three the
01:16:27 three four teams there’s a purpose
01:16:29 behind those
01:16:30 three
01:16:32 the three is of Yahweh
01:16:34 yeah three’s Redemption three is
01:16:36 redemption and before and then the for
01:16:40 the 14 is Messianic yeah Messianic
01:16:43 Redemption
01:16:44 yes which is the only person that can
01:16:47 who is our Kinsmen Redeemer right he’s
01:16:50 the only one that can save us
01:16:53 um
01:16:54 so
01:16:56 um in fact even in Ruth brings out how
01:17:01 um
01:17:01 that no one else will step up to Be Our
01:17:04 Redeemer because no one else can
01:17:08 but okay so uh and another thing at the
01:17:12 very the last line
01:17:15 uh we confess ourselves to Elohim
01:17:19 not to a bishop or a church leader
01:17:24 so so there’s two groups of people the
01:17:28 altar of God is Not In The Bishop’s
01:17:29 office
01:17:34 um well I I do think sometimes Bishops
01:17:36 can be inspired okay so I I I I’m not
01:17:39 prone to just give a run out no but
01:17:44 um they are not to try to get you to
01:17:48 confess to see if you’re worthy
01:17:51 um that goes against uh so if you went
01:17:55 to a judge today which uh Bishops are
01:17:58 judges of Israel right
01:18:01 um but if the judge asked you to confess
01:18:03 of something that he didn’t know of you
01:18:06 would call him crazy
01:18:07 yeah pretty much
01:18:09 that’s that’s not what a judge of Israel
01:18:12 is supposed to do a judge of Israel is
01:18:14 supposed to
01:18:15 judge according to the witnesses
01:18:19 of what they bring forth right
01:18:22 which uh I have a I never say this but I
01:18:26 have a post on this
01:18:29 um where it actually brings out if you
01:18:32 look at the Book of Mormon DNC and Torah
01:18:36 they all state the same thing for
01:18:38 Bishops and judges and what they’re
01:18:40 supposed to be doing
01:18:41 and guess what it’s not to get you to
01:18:45 confess your sins to them
01:18:48 um so and it also brings out including
01:18:51 in the DNC how they’re supposed to be
01:18:53 paid for their time
01:18:55 where they’re gone today and it also in
01:18:58 the DC it brings out how Apostles should
01:19:01 not be paid and today they are so
01:19:07 how seriously are you abiding The Book
01:19:09 of Mormon and the DNC that Yahweh gave
01:19:12 us through Joseph right but anyways
01:19:17 um

01:19:23 now these are the circum circumstances
01:19:26 which attended them and they’re churning
01:19:28 Journeys
01:19:29 or they have many afflictions
01:19:32 they did suffer much both embodying it

01:19:36 such as hunger thirst and fatigue
01:19:39 I know so much in me and also much labor
01:19:41 in the spirit

01:19:46 um that pretty much describes what
01:19:49 Yeshua went through right yep in fact so
01:19:53 much so at times even after the 40-day
01:19:57 fast that he did he had to go off on his
01:19:59 own right because uh
01:20:01 everything was going on and you needed
01:20:03 alone time just as we all do today right
01:20:06 well and this is the this is the thing
01:20:11 anybody
01:20:13 who claims
01:20:15 a calling from Yahweh
01:20:18 who does not experience this
01:20:22 that calling is not from milpit
01:20:26 for if the world loves you
01:20:29 it hated me
01:20:32 that is what he is in Yeshua right yeah
01:20:35 as in Yeshua yes
01:20:38 right why if the world loves you
01:20:42 and hates Yeshua whose side do you think
01:20:45 you’re really on
01:20:49 right yep because if you’re speaking the
01:20:53 world hates Yeshua for what he stated
01:20:55 and exposed
01:20:57 but if they love you for what you say
01:21:02 you’re not doing as Yeshua did you are
01:21:06 not walking through this footsteps and
01:21:08 you will never
01:21:09 and you will never receive the trust of
01:21:12 the Lord
01:21:14 unless you repent
01:21:17 right you we uh you can repent up to the
01:21:21 time that you die right well as as I’m

01:28:31 the Lord refers to the scriptures the

01:28:37 in Revelations it talks about how the
01:28:39 sword is coming out of his mouth what
01:28:42 more could that be than his words

01:28:47 the word is a sword
01:28:50 and you know we are at war with Satan
01:28:54 yeah which is uh
01:28:58 and if we do and if we don’t use our
01:29:01 weapons we will be overwhelmed
01:29:04 yeah and we’ll get defeated
01:29:07 if we don’t use the weapons that Yahweh
01:29:10 gave us like here
01:29:11 The Sword and the spear will lose right
01:29:15 in fact in a little bit we’re going to
01:29:17 talk about some more weapons

01:29:25 the word of God in Torah so this is just

01:30:49 with the bow and arrow that one’s for
01:30:51 more and for getting both of those same
01:30:53 with the spirit and the same with the
01:30:54 spirit the goat but that goes either way

01:30:57 uh sure sure I see more as bear as a
01:31:00 weapon of War though but yeah I can see
01:31:03 it something if you’ve ever hunted if if
01:31:06 you’ve ever hunted before

01:31:14 yeah Spears are very useful when you’re
01:31:17 hunting large game

01:31:32 and this line right here can I highlight

01:31:39 level is physical food but considering
01:31:43 that all these uh
01:31:47 weapons of of War spiritual war and
01:31:52 physical work can point to spiritual
01:31:55 well it just that didn’t come out the
01:31:57 best but anyways this food is spiritual
01:31:59 food for themselves in addition okay

01:32:05 and definitely Wilderness is very
01:32:07 symbolic of coming unto Yahweh right now
01:32:11 the Wilderness is also symbolic of Our
01:32:13 Lives
01:32:14 correct

01:32:17 and Yeshua does want us to give up our
01:32:21 lives right in fact he even stated those
01:32:24 who seek to keep their lives will lose
01:32:26 it and those who lose their lives
01:32:30 will keep it
01:32:33 no if we do his will
01:32:37 we will have life Everlasting
01:32:40 we will have peace in this life we may
01:32:43 still have our struggles but we will
01:32:45 have yahweh’s peace that will make it
01:32:47 worth it and not
01:32:49 and and
01:32:50 make it worth it
01:32:52 and not so much as a struggle because we
01:32:55 know we have a master that will take
01:32:57 care of his servant right
01:33:00 in fact he’s bound to take care of his
01:33:02 servants but anyways in his way not your
01:33:06 way right just make sure yeah yeah and
01:33:08 it’s according to what he has stated in
01:33:10 the scriptures not not that you
01:33:13 want a fancy house or car but anyways

01:36:01 find them fasting right which Yeshua
01:36:05 actually when people came and asked
01:36:07 Joshua why do your disciples not fast as
01:36:10 the Pharisees and John the Baptist
01:36:13 disciples right and he mentions because
01:36:17 um people don’t fast when they’re with
01:36:19 the master
01:36:21 well here’s there’s a cat quote but
01:36:23 that’s the intention of it right well
01:36:24 here’s an interesting thing about one of
01:36:26 the effects of fasting that the Lord
01:36:28 grant unto them a portion of a spirit to
01:36:30 go with them and abide with them it
01:36:31 increases your mental acuity your
01:36:33 ability to remember things
01:36:36 um
01:36:37 and call things up
01:36:39 and that’s if you’re fasting for the
01:36:42 right purpose because if you’re fasting
01:36:45 and you’re thinking about what you’re
01:36:46 fasting for it’s the
01:36:51 it’s gonna ingrain it into your mind
01:36:52 more right right
01:36:55 um I think another thing to bring out is
01:36:58 how they were praying a lot
01:37:02 Yeshua went out all by himself regularly
01:37:06 during his mortal Ministry to pray and
01:37:09 he didn’t much right
01:37:13 um and obviously yes it was the greatest
01:37:16 instrument of Elohim right
01:37:20 uh but the 12th
01:37:22 now one thing I do want to bring out and
01:37:27 they the baseness of the traditions of
01:37:30 their fathers
01:37:32 um so here’s uh Ammon and his Brethren
01:37:36 going out and showing how the Traditions
01:37:39 that the people were keeping were wrong
01:37:41 right
01:37:43 uh is that’s what Yeshua did also now
01:37:46 that will make people angry
01:37:50 telling someone that their Traditions
01:37:52 that they hold so dear is wrong
01:37:56 is actually it’s it’s not nice

01:38:04 ended up in prison for it and according
01:38:06 to the girls to the world’s uh
01:38:09 uh it’s not nice and and uh you know
01:38:14 especially to the world’s way of
01:38:16 thinking yeah yeah well because it calls
01:38:19 out their wickedness and they they love
01:38:20 their sins
01:38:21 yeah and that’s a lot of what is going

01:38:27 this is kind of bringing out how they’re
01:38:29 bringing out the the Traditions that
01:38:32 people love are wrong
01:38:34 and that’s exactly what they would only
01:38:36 be able to do that if they had a portion
01:38:39 of spirit or if the word to be with them
01:38:42 right and so I I just
01:38:46 some people are like well you’re just
01:38:49 making God in your own image if you go
01:38:52 actually look at the scriptures and see
01:38:54 how the the word tells us that we can’t
01:38:57 do what we men and women are inclined to
01:39:01 want that are flesh wads
01:39:05 I I don’t know how you could really
01:39:07 understand what’s being stated and say
01:39:10 that statement that it’s made in our own
01:39:12 image because we’re actually saying
01:39:15 don’t we’re not doing things that the
01:39:19 flesh wants right
01:39:21 it is
01:39:23 it makes no sense that people say that
01:39:26 to me it’s like they don’t understand of
01:39:29 course they don’t understand right
01:39:32 well yeah they don’t understand and

01:39:37 because they because they don’t want to
01:39:40 look at themselves as sinful they’re
01:39:42 going to say that their sins are your

01:39:45 uh yes which is actually a technique of
01:39:48 the wicked to do right yes

01:39:56 introduce your enemy of what you’re

01:41:01 when you understand the spirit is the

01:41:06 when the spirit says unto them be
01:41:08 comforted
01:41:12 well when you know that you’re doing
01:41:15 what Yahweh Elohim
01:41:18 commanded us to do it does give you
01:41:21 peace

01:51:40 just some back some back knowledge here
01:51:44 they’re not talking about just general
01:51:46 hand washing they’re talking about an
01:51:49 ordinance
01:51:50 that was a commandment of men
01:51:54 that uh wherein before you could eat
01:51:57 bread you had to for not even really
01:52:00 wash your hands just pour water over
01:52:02 your hands three times and uh repeat
01:52:07 a rope line
01:52:09 um
01:52:10 and uh you know where basically it’s the
01:52:14 where basically the Commandments of men
01:52:16 are equated with Commandments of God and
01:52:19 then you could eat your bread so I I
01:52:21 want to add a little bit to this before
01:52:23 we go into the next verse first first of
01:52:25 all the scriptures actually just State
01:52:27 out that it’s traditions of men slash
01:52:30 elders
01:52:31 and then also I do want to add that they
01:52:34 twist a verse from Torah about how the
01:52:38 aaronic priests while they’re doing
01:52:40 their duties in the Tabernacle or Temple
01:52:43 had to wash their hands right so they’re
01:52:46 misapplying scriptures to get this false
01:52:48 tradition okay
01:52:50 so he and so Yeshua answered and said

01:52:55 with you Hypocrites as it is written
01:52:58 this people honoreth me with their lips
01:53:00 but their heart is far from me albeit in

01:53:09 you hold the tradition of men as the
01:53:12 washing of pots and cups and many other

01:53:24 men put aside God’s Commandments for
01:53:28 their own traditions and do silly things
01:53:31 like washing of pots and cups right yeah

01:53:37 it but there this is not Health this is
01:53:38 putting water in it for ceremonial
01:53:41 ordinances of men right just bring it
01:53:45 how ridiculous it is that you’re doing
01:53:47 these traditions of men
01:53:50 that actually do nothing instead of
01:53:52 keeping elohim’s Torah
01:53:55 yes the
01:53:58 yeah the reason and the reason they do
01:54:01 these things is because they get a sense
01:54:03 of Holiness out of it not even anything
01:54:05 real whereas if you want if they would
01:54:08 just simply obey the Commandment of God
01:54:10 they would be holy
01:54:13 well and I think there’s probably a
01:54:16 natural thing is they’re doing it to be
01:54:18 seen of men
01:54:20 so that way if you’re doing this
01:54:23 supposedly you’re holy versus
01:54:28 um just having a broken heart and
01:54:30 contrite spirit and just doing the right
01:54:33 thing and not worried about anybody
01:54:36 noticing it right right
01:54:38 and he said unto them full well ye
01:54:40 reject the Commandment of God that you
01:54:42 keep your that you may keep your own
01:54:45 tradition
01:54:46 for Moses said honor thy father and thy
01:54:49 mother and who so curseth father and
01:54:51 mother let him die the death but ye said

01:54:56 mother it is Corbin that is to say a
01:54:59 gift by whatsoever thou mightest be

01:56:18 his mother or father because all that
01:56:21 stuff is poor but am I right as in it’s
01:56:24 supposed to go to the temple who they
01:56:25 profit off of right right instead of
01:56:29 taking care of their family which

02:33:11 so that they might have
02:33:16 the Water of Life
02:33:18 but if we read further on into verse 27
02:33:24 you’ll find that they don’t want it
02:33:30 the scribes the Pharisees and the
02:33:32 Sadducees they don’t want this gift uh
