JST Genesis 50:24-38
AA 24 And Joseph said unto his brethren,
AB I die, and go unto my fathers;
AC and I go down to my grave with joy.
-BA The God [Elohim] of father Jacob be with you,
-B-B to deliver you out of affliction in the days of your bondage;
-BA for the Lord [YHWH] hath visited me,
–CA and I have obtained a promise of the Lord [YHWH],
–C-B that out of the fruit of my [Joseph] loins,
–C–C the Lord [YHWH] God [Elohim] will raise up a righteous branch [Lehites] out of my [Joseph] loins;
–C—D and unto thee [Israel],
–C—-E whom my father Jacob hath named Israel, a prophet [Moses];
–C—–F (not the Messiah who is called Shilo;)
–C—-E and this prophet [Moses] shall deliver my people out of Egypt in the days of thy bondage.
–C—D 25 And it shall come to pass that they [Israel] shall be scattered again;
–C–C and a branch [Lehites] shall be broken off [600 BC],
–C-B and shall be carried into a far country [USA];
–CA nevertheless they [Lehites] shall be remembered in the covenants of the Lord [YHWH],
—DA when the Messiah cometh,
—D-B for He [Messiah] shall be made manifest unto them [Lehites]
—D–C in the latter days,
—D—D in the Spirit of power;
—D–C and shall bring them [Lehites] out of darkness into light;
—D-B out of hidden darkness,
—DA and out of captivity unto freedom.
—-EAA 26 A seer [MSO] shall the Lord [YHWH] my God [Elohim] raise up,
—-EA-BA who shall be a choice seer [MSO] unto the fruit of my [Joseph] loins.
—-EA-B-B 27 Thus saith the Lord [YHWH] God [Elohim] of my fathers [ancestors] unto me [Joseph],
—-EA-B-B A choice seer [MSO] will I [YHWH] raise up out of the fruit of thy [Joseph] loins,
—-EA-BA and he [MSO] shall be esteemed highly among the fruit of thy [Joseph] loins;
—-EA–C and unto him [MSO] will I give commandment
—-EA—DA that he [MSO] shall do a work for the fruit of thy [Joseph] loins,
—-EA—DB his [MSO] brethren.
—-EA—-E 28 And he [MSO] shall bring them [Joseph’s loins] to the knowledge of the covenants [Torah]
—-EA—D which I [YHWH] have made with thy [Joseph] fathers [ancestors];
—-EA–C and he [MSO] shall do whatsoever work I [YHWH] shall command him [MSO].
—-EA-B 29 And I [YHWH] will make him [MSO] great in Mine eyes,
—-EAA for he [MSO] shall do My [YHWH] work;
—-EBAA and he [MSO] shall be great like unto him [Moses]
—-EBAB whom I [YHWH] have said I [YHWH] would raise up unto you,
—-EB-B to deliver My [YHWH] people, O house of Israel,
—-EB–C out of the land of Egypt;
—-EB—D for a seer [Moses] will I [YHWH] raise up to deliver My [YHWH] people out of the land of Egypt;
—-EB–C and he [Moses] shall be called Moses.
—-EB-B And by this name [character] he [Moses] shall know that he [Moses] is of thy house [Israel];
—-EBAA for he [Moses] shall be nursed by the king’s [Pharoh] daughter,
—-EBAB and shall be called her son.
—–FA 30 And again, a seer [MSO] will I [YHWH] raise up out of the fruit of thy [Joseph] loins,
—–F-B and unto him [MSO] will I [YHWH] give power to bring forth My [YHWH] word
—–F–C unto the seed of thy [Joseph] loins [Lehites, Manasseh, Ephraim];
—–F-B and not to the bringing forth of My [YHWH] word only,
—–FA saith the Lord [YHWH], but to the convincing them [Lehites, Manasseh, Ephraim] of My [YHWH] word,
——GA which shall have already gone forth [Bible & BoM] among them [Lehites, Manasseh, Ephraim]
——GB in the last days;
——-HAA 31 Wherefore the fruit of thy [Joseph] loins shall write [BoM],
——-HAB and the fruit of the loins of Judah shall write [Bible];
——-HBA and that which shall be written [BoM] by the fruit of thy [Joseph] loins,
——-HBB and also that which shall be written [Bible] by the fruit of the loins of Judah,
——-HCA shall grow together unto the confounding of false doctrines,
——-HCB and laying down of contentions,
——-HCC and establishing [making] peace among the fruit of thy [Joseph] loins [Lehites, Manasseh, Ephraim],
——GAA and bringing them [Lehites, Manasseh, Ephraim] to a knowledge of their fathers [ancestors]
——GAB in the latter days;
——G-B and also to the knowledge of my covenants [Torah], saith the Lord [YHWH].
——G–C 32 And out of weakness shall he [MSO] be made strong,
——G–C in that day [last days] when My [YHWH] work shall go forth among all My [YHWH] people,
——G-B which shall restore them,
——GAA who are of the house of Israel,
——GAB in the last days.
—–FA 33 And that seer [MSO] will I [YHWH] bless,
—–F-B and they [enemies] that seek to destroy him [MSO]
—–F-B shall be confounded;
—–FA for this promise I [YHWH] give unto you [Joseph];
—-EAA for I will remember you [Joseph] from generation to generation;
—-EA-B and his [MSO] name shall be called Joseph,
—-EA–C and it shall be after the name of his [MSO] father;
—-EA–C and he [MSO] shall be like unto you [Joseph];
—-EA-BA for the thing which the Lord [YHWH] shall bring forth by his [MSO] hand
—-EA-BB shall bring My [YHWH] people unto salvation.
—-EAAA 34 And the Lord [YHWH] sware unto Joseph,
—-EAAB that He [YHWH] would preserve his [Joseph] seed forever,
—-EBA saying, I [YHWH] will raise up Moses,
—-EB-B and a rod shall be in his [Moses] hand,
—-EB–C and he [Moses] shall gather together My [YHWH] people,
—-EB—D and he [Moses] shall lead them as a flock,
—-EB—-E and he [Moses] shall smite the waters of the Red Sea with his [Moses] rod.
—-EB—–F 35 And he [Moses] shall have judgment,
—-EB—-E and shall write the word of the Lord [YHWH].
—-EB—D And he [Moses] shall not speak many words,
—-EB–C for I will write unto him [Moses] my law [Torah] by the finger of Mine Own hand.
—-EB-B And I will make a spokesman [Aaron] for him [Moses],
—-EBA and his [spokesman] name shall be called Aaron.
—DA 36 And it shall be done
—D-B unto thee
—DA in the last days also,
–CA even as I [YHWH] have sworn.
–C-B Therefore, Joseph said unto his brethren,
–C–C and God [Elohim] will surely visit you,
–C—D and bring you out of this land [Egypt],
–C—D unto the land [Canaan and USA]
–C–C which He sware unto Abraham, and unto Isaac, and to Jacob.
–C-B 37 And Joseph confirmed many other things unto his brethren,
–CA and took an oath of the children of Israel,
-BA saying unto them, God [Elohim] will surely visit you,
-BB and ye shall carry up my bones [laws] from hence.
AA 38 So Joseph died when he [Joseph] was an hundred and ten years old;
A-B and they embalmed him [Joseph],
A–C and they put him [Joseph] in a coffin in Egypt;
A–C and he [Joseph] was kept from burial by the children of Israel,
A-B that he [Joseph] might be carried up and laid in the sepulchre with his [Joseph] father [Jacob].
AA And thus they remembered the oath which they sware unto him [Joseph].
I want to spend some time looking at the first stanza C as it can be a little confusing. First and second stanzas of A through C are dealing Lehi and his seed. YHWH told Lehi to leave Jerusalem and to cross the sea to the promised land [USA]. While Lehi family was crossing the wilderness they learn they are the broken branch prophecied of.
–CA and I have obtained a promise of the Lord [YHWH],
–C-B that out of the fruit of my [Joseph] loins,
–C–C the Lord [YHWH] God [Elohim] will raise up a righteous branch [Lehites] out of my [Joseph] loins;
…
–C–C and a branch [Lehites] shall be broken off [600 BC],
–C-B and shall be carried into a far country [USA];
–CA nevertheless they [Lehites] shall be remembered in the covenants of the Lord [YHWH],Genesis 49:22 Joseph is a fruitful bough [son], even a fruitful bough [son] by a well [well of living water, Book of Mormon]; whose branches [Manasseh and Ephraim] run over the wall [borders of Jerusalem to USA]:
… Written to the Lamanites, who are a remnant of the house of Israel; … to come forth in due time by way of the Gentile … and that they may know the covenants [Torah] of the Lord [YHWH], that they are not cast off forever …
Title Page of the Book of Mormon from the gold plates1 Nephi (LDS 2:2) (RLDS 1:26) And it came to pass that the Lord [YHWH] commanded my [Nephi] father [Lehi], even in a dream, that he [Lehi] should take his [Lehi] family and depart into the wilderness.
1 Nephi (LDS 2:5) (RLDS 1:30-32) And he [Lehi] came down by the borders near the shore of the Red Sea [Israel’s border]; and he [Lehi] traveled in the wilderness in the borders which are nearer the Red Sea; and he [Lehi] did travel in the wilderness with his [Lehi] family, which consisted of my [Nephi] mother, Sariah, and my [Nephi] elder brothers, who were Laman, Lemuel, and Sam.
1 Nephi (LDS 2:11) (RLDS 1:38-39) Now this he [Lehi] spake because of the stiffneckedness of Laman and Lemuel; for behold they did murmur in many things against their father, because he [Lehi] was a visionary man, and had led them out of the land of Jerusalem [border / wall], to leave the land of their inheritance [border / wall], and their gold, and their silver, and their precious things, to perish in the wilderness. And this they said he [Lehi] had done because of the foolish imaginations of his [Lehi] heart.
1 Nephi (LDS 3:18) (RLDS 1:79-81) For behold, they [Israelites] have rejected the words of the prophets. Wherefore, if my father [Lehi] should dwell in the land [wall / border] after he [Lehi] hath been commanded [by YHWH] to flee out of the land [wall / border], behold, he [Lehi] would also perish. Wherefore, it must needs be that he [Lehi] flee out of the land [wall / border].
1 Nephi (LDS 5:4-5) (RLDS 1:149-151) 4 And it had come to pass that my [Nephi] father [Lehi] spake unto her [Sariah], saying: I [Lehi] know that I [Lehi] am a visionary man; for if I [Lehi] had not seen the things of God [Elohim] in a vision I [Lehi] should not have known the goodness of God [Elohim], but had tarried at Jerusalem [wall / border], and had perished with my [Lehi] brethren [Israelites]. 5 But behold, I [Lehi] have obtained a land of promise [USA], in the which things I [Lehim] do rejoice; yea, and I know that the Lord [YHWH] will deliver my [Lehi] sons out of the hands of Laban, and bring them down again unto us in the wilderness.
1 Nephi (LDS 5:8) (RLDS 1:154-156)) And she [Sariah / believers] spake, saying: Now I know of a surety that the Lord [YHWH] hath commanded my [Lehi] husband [head] to flee into the wilderness [leave Jerusalem / wall]; yea, and I [Sariah / believers] also know of a surety that the Lord [YHWH] hath protected my [Sariah / church] sons [prosperity / followers], and delivered them out of the hands of Laban [enemies], and given them power whereby they could accomplish the thing which the Lord [YHWH] hath commanded them. And after this manner of language did she [Sariah] speak.
1 Nephi (LDS 5:14-15) (RLDS 1:164-166) 14 And it came to pass that my [Nephi] father, Lehi, also found upon the plates of brass a genealogy of his [Lehi] fathers [ancestors]; wherefore he [Lehi] knew that he [Lehi] was a descendant of Joseph [of Egypt]; yea, even that Joseph [of Egypt] who was the son of Jacob, who was sold into Egypt, and who was preserved by the hand of the Lord [YHWH], that he [Joseph] might preserve his [Joseph] father, Jacob, and all his [Jacob] household from perishing with famine. 15 And they [Israel] were also led out of captivity and out of the land of Egypt, by that same God [Elohim] who had preserved them [through Moses].
1 Nephi (LDS 10:4) (RLDS 3:4) Yea, even six hundred years from the time that my [Nephi] father [Lehi] left Jerusalem [wall / border], a Prophet would the Lord [YHWH] God [Elohim] raise up among the Jews—even a Messiah, or, in other words, a Savior of the world.
1 Nephi (LDS 10:13) (RLDS 3:17) Wherefore, he [Lehi] said it must needs be that we [Lehite branch] should be led with one accord into the land of promise [USA], unto the fulfilling of the word of the Lord [YHWH], that we should be scattered upon all the face of the earth [Genesis 49:22 whose branches run over the wall].
1 Nephi (LDS 15:12) (RLDS 4:14-15) Behold, I [Nephi] say unto you, that the house of Israel was compared unto an olive tree, by the Spirit of the Lord [YHWH] which was in our father [Lehi]; and behold are we not broken off [JST Genesis 50:24 a branch shall be broken off] from the house of Israel, and are we not a branch of the house of Israel?
1 Nephi (LDS 17:8-9) (RLDS 5:70-71) 8 And it came to pass that the Lord [YHWH] spake unto me [Nephi / MSO], saying: Thou [Nephi / MSO] shalt construct a ship [ark / Torah], after the manner which I [YHWH] shall show thee [Nephi / MSO], that I [YHWH] may carry thy [Lehi branch / Restorations branches] people across these waters [JST Genesis 50:24 far country USA / apostasy]. 9 And I [Nephi / MSO] said: Lord [YHWH], whither shall I [Nephi / MSO] go that I may find ore [word of YHWH] to molten [soften], that I may make tools to construct the ship [ark / Torah] after the manner which thou [YHWH] hast shown unto me [Nephi / MSO]?
1 Nephi (LDS 17:13-14) (RLDS 5:77-82) 13 And I [YHWH] will also be your light in the wilderness; and I [YHWH] will prepare the way before you [Nephi / MSO], if it so be that ye shall keep My [YHWH] commandments [Torah]; wherefore, inasmuch as ye [Nephi / MSO] shall keep My [YHWH] commandments [Torah] ye shall be led towards the promised land [JST Genesis 50:24 far country USA / Heaven]; and ye [Nephi / MSO] shall know that it is by Me [YHWH] that ye [Nephi / MSO] are led. 14 Yea, and the Lord [YHWH] said also that: After ye [Nephi / MSO] have arrived in the promised land [JST Genesis 50:24 far country USA / Heaven], ye [Nephi / everyone] shall know that I [YHWH], the Lord [YHWH], am God [Elohim]; and that I [YHWH], the Lord [YHWH], did deliver you [Nephi / believers] from destruction; yea, that I [YHWH] did bring you out of the land of Jerusalem [JST Genesis 49:22 wall / borders].
1 Nephi (LDS 17:17-19) (RLDS 5:85-92) And when my [Nephi / MSO] brethren [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] saw that I [Nephi / MSO] was about to build a ship [ark / Torah], they [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] began to murmur against me [Nephi / MSO], saying: Our brother [Nephi / MSO] is a fool, for he [Nephi / MSO] thinketh that he [Nephi / MSO] can build a ship [ark / Torah]; yea, and he [Nephi / MSO] also thinketh that he [Nephi / MSO] can cross these great waters [apostasy]. 18 And thus my [Nephi / MSO] brethren [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] did complain against me [Nephi / MSO], and were desirous that they [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] might not labor [keep Torah], for they [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] did not believe that I [Nephi / MSO] could build a ship [ark / Torah]; neither would they [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] believe that I [Nephi / MSO] was instructed of the Lord [YHWH]. 19 And now it came to pass that I, Nephi [MSO], was exceedingly sorrowful because of the hardness of their [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] [wicked] hearts; and now when they [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] saw that I [Nephi / MSO] began to be sorrowful they [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] were glad in their [wicked] hearts, insomuch that they [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] did rejoice over me [Nephi / MSO], saying: We [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] knew that ye could not construct a ship [ark / Torah], for we [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] knew that ye were lacking in judgment [Torah]; wherefore, thou canst not accomplish so great [marvelous] a work [MSO will restore Torah].
1 Nephi (LDS 17:44) (RLDS 5:141-143) Wherefore, the Lord [YHWH] commanded my [Nephi / MSO] father [Lehi / Elijah / Joseph Smith] that he [Lehi / Elijah / Joseph Smith] should depart into the wilderness; and the Jews [unbelievers / Brighamites] also sought to take away his [Lehi / Joseph Smith] life [Joseph Smith Murder]; yea, and ye [Laman and Lamuel / foolish virgins] also have sought to take away his [Lehi / Joseph Smith] life [Joseph Smith Murder]; wherefore, ye are murderers in your [wicked] hearts and ye [Laman and Lamuel / foolish virgins] are like unto them [Jews / unbelievers].
1 Nephi (LDS 17:49) (RLDS 5:156)) And it came to pass that I, Nephi [MSO], said unto them [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] that they [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] should murmur [fight] no more against their [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] father [Lehi / Joseph Smith]; neither should they [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] withhold their [Laman and Lemuel / foolish virgins] labor [fruits / Torah] from me [Nephi / MSO], for God [Elohim] had commanded me [Nephi / MSO] that I should build a ship [ark / Torah].
1 Nephi (LDS 17:51) (RLDS 5:159) And now, if the Lord [YHWH] has such great power, and has wrought so many miracles among the children of men, how is it that He [YHWH] cannot instruct [Torah] me [Nephi / MSO], that I [Nephi / MSO] should build a ship [ark / Torah]?
1 Nephi (LDS 18:1-2) (RLDS 5:168-171) 1 And it came to pass that they did worship [wise virgins] the Lord [YHWH], and did go forth with me [Nephi / MSO]; and we did work timbers [trees / men] of curious [peculiar] workmanship [Torah]. And the Lord [YHWH] did show [visions] me [Nephi / MSO] from time to time after what manner I [Nephi / MSO] should work the timbers [trees / men] of the ship [ark / Torah]. 2 Now I, Nephi [MSO], did not work the timbers [trees / men] after the manner which was learned by men [false traditions / oral Torah], neither did I [Nephi / MSO] build the ship [ark / Torah] after the manner of men [false traditions / oral Torah]; but I [Nephi / MSO] did build it after the manner which the Lord [YHWH] had shown [written word] unto me [Nephi / MSO]; wherefore, it was not after the manner of men [false traditions / oral Torah].
1 Nephi (LDS 18:4-6) (RLDS 5:173-178) 4 And it came to pass that after I [Nephi / MSO] had finished the ship [ark / Torah], according to the word of the Lord [YHWH], my brethren [unbelievers] beheld that it was good, and that the workmanship thereof was exceedingly fine; wherefore, they did humble [believed] themselves again before the Lord [YHWH]. 5 And it came to pass that the voice of the Lord [YHWH] came unto my [Nephi / MSO] father [Lehi / Joseph Smith], that we should [awake and] arise [keep Torah] and go down into the ship [ark / Torah]. 6 And it came to pass that on the morrow, after we had prepared all things [Torah], much fruits [works] and meat [flesh] from the wilderness, and honey [Torah] in abundance, and provisions according to that which the Lord [YHWH] had commanded us, we did go down into the ship [ark / Torah / sanctification / baptism of Holy Spirit], with all our loading and our seeds [faith / trust], and whatsoever thing we had brought with us, every one according to his age [accountability]; wherefore, we did all go down into the ship [ark / Torah], with our wives [churches] and our children [followers].
1 Nephi (LDS 18:8) (RLDS 5:180-181) And it came to pass after we had all gone down into the ship [ark / Torah], and had taken with us our provisions and things which had been commanded us, we did put forth into [cross / left] the sea [apostasy / sea beast] and were driven [directed] forth before the wind [Torah] towards the promised land [JST Genesis 50:24 far country USA / eternal life].
1 Nephi (LDS 18:22-23) (RLDS 5:211-213) 22 And it came to pass that I, Nephi [MSO], did guide the ship [ark / Torah], that we sailed again [returned to the restoration] towards the promised land [Celestial glory]. 23 And it came to pass that after we had sailed for the space of many days we did arrive at the promised land [Heaven]; and we went forth upon the land [JST Genesis 50:24 far country USA / Heaven], and did pitch our tents [resurrection]; and we did call it the promised land [JST Genesis 50:24 far country USA / Heaven].
2 Nephi (LDS 1:3) (RLDS 1:3) And he also spake unto them concerning the land of promise, which they had obtained—how merciful the Lord had been in warning us that we should flee out of the land of Jerusalem.
2 Nephi (LDS 3:4) (RLDS 2:5-6)
A For behold, thou [Joseph] art the fruit of my [Lehi] loins;
B and I [Lehi] am a descendant of Joseph who was carried captive into Egypt.
C And great were the covenants of the Lord [YHWH] which he made unto Joseph [of Egypt].
Both parts of the next stanzas D and E deal with Moses delivering Israel from the Pharo of Egypt 430 years after Abraham. This change is confirmed by the semicolon at the C stanza.
–C–C the Lord [YHWH] God [Elohim] will raise up a righteous branch [Lehites] out of my [Joseph] loins;
–C—D and unto thee [Israel],
–C—-E whom my father Jacob hath named Israel, a prophet [Moses];
…
–C—-E and this prophet [Moses] shall deliver my people out of Egypt in the days of thy bondage.
–C—D 25 And it shall come to pass that they [Israel] shall be scattered again;
The number three has to do with redemption, and it’s no accident that the third subject and focal point of this sub chiasmus is about Yeshua / Jesus the promised Messiah. This whole sub-chiasmus deals with physical redemption in that Moses physically redeemed the people through YHWH’s power, and in a like manner the Mighty and Strong One will do a simular work but much greater. And most important of all Yeshua saved us from physical death.
–C—–F (not the Messiah who is called Shilo;)
The center of the first EA stanza is how the Mighty and Strong One will bring Joseph’s loins to the knowledge of Torah. We also see this is the G-B stanza. Covenant is another word for Torah. Just as the ark of the covenant housed Torah. When Zenos gave the allegory of the olive trees in Jacob (LDS 5:1-77) (RLDS 3:30-153) it was all prophecy spaning more than a thousand years. Where much of it is now ancient history, parts of it, such as Jacob (LDS 5:73-75) (RLDS 3:141-147) is not complete. Jacob (LDS 5:73-75) (RLDS 3:141-147) brings out that the Mighty and Strong One will teach Torah. I get into various details of this in Scripture Study 2023-02-27 including how Alma (LDS 12:28-37) (RLDS 9:47-61) shows us that Adam had Torah. Verses Alma (LDS 12:31) (RLDS 9:51) and Alma (LDS 12:37) (RLDS 9:60-61) are key passages. Alma (LDS 12:31) (RLDS 9:51) tells us after Adam transgressed temporally the first commandments, YHWH gave them another set which would the second set. Alma (LDS 12:37) (RLDS 9:60-61) brings out how the Lehites were expected to keep the second set of commandments, and there is no real debate that the Lehites keep Torah up to Yeshua’s / Jesus’ death, and Alma (LDS 12:37) (RLDS 9:60-61) was before the time that there is a debate on that issue. For those who are interested in Scripture Study 2022-11-02 I go over tons of verses after Yeshua’s / Jesus’ death showing that Torah, not law of Moses, is still valid. And in Scripture Study 2022-08-26 I show a quote from Joseph Smith and tons of Book of Mormon verses showing that Torah and Law of Moses are different. In Scripture Study 2022-11-02 in addition to talking about Alma (LDS 12:28-37) (RLDS 9:47-61) and Jacob (LDS 5:73-75) (RLDS 3:141-147), I talk about the Brass Plates prophecy and how the Brass Plates, which is much like todays Tanak / Old Testament, which points people back to YHWH’s Torah, will cause people to repent in the future, showing Torah is stil valid.
—-EA—-E 28 And he [MSO] shall bring them to the knowledge of the covenants [Torah]
—-EA—D which I [YHWH] have made with thy [Joseph] fathers [ancestors];——G-B and also to the knowledge of my covenants [Torah], saith the Lord [YHWH].

A Yea, Joseph truly said: Thus saith the Lord [YHWH] unto me:
-B choice SEER [MSO] will I [YHWH] raise up out of the fruit of thy [Joseph] loins;
–C and he [MSO] shall be ESTEEMED HIGHLY among the fruit of thy [Joseph] loins.
—D And unto him [MSO] will I [YHWH] give commandment
—DA that HE [MSO] SHALL DO A WORK for the fruit of thy [Joseph] loins,
—DB his brethren,
–C which shall be of great worth unto them [Joseph’s lions],
-B even to the BRINGING of them TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE COVENANTS [TORAH]
A which I [YHWH] have made with thy [Joseph] fathers [ancestors].Jacob (LDS 5:73-75) (RLDS 3:141-147)
AA 73 And there began to be the natural [Torah] fruit [work] again in the vineyard;
A-B and the natural branches [Israel] began to grow and thrive exceedingly;
A–C and the wild [sinful] branches began to be plucked off and to be cast away;
A-B and they did keep the root [ancestors / Torah] and the top thereof equal,
AA according to the strength thereof.
-BA 74 And thus they labored,
-B-B with all diligence,
-BA according to the commandments of the Lord of the vineyard,
–C even until the bad [sinful] had been cast away out of the vineyard,
—D and the Lord had preserved unto himself that the trees [people] had become again the natural [Torah] fruit [work];
—-E and they became like unto one body [neither Jew or Gentile];
—-E and the fruits [works] were equal [Jew and Gentile];
—DA and the Lord of the vineyard had preserved unto himself the natural [Torah] fruit,
—D-B which was most precious unto him from the beginning [Adam].
—DA 75 And it came to pass that when the Lord of the vineyard saw that his fruit was good,
–C and that his vineyard was no more corrupt [sinful],
-BAA he called up his servants, and said unto them:
-BAB Behold, for this last time have we nourished my vineyard;
-B-B and thou beholdest that I have done according to my will;
-B–C and I have preserved the natural [Torah] fruit [work], that it is good,
-B—D even like as it was in the beginning [Adam].
-B–C And blessed art thou;
-B-B for because ye have been diligent in laboring with me in my vineyard,
-BA and have kept my commandments [Torah],
AA and have brought unto me again the natural [Torah] fruit [work],

AAA 28 And after God [Elohim] had appointed
AAB that these things should come unto man,
A-BA behold, then He saw that it was expedient
A-B-B that man should know concerning the things
A-B-B whereof he had appointed unto them;
A-BA 29 Therefore He sent angels to converse with them,
A–C who caused men to behold of His glory.
A—DA 30 And they began from that time forth to call on His name;
A—DB therefore God [Elohim] conversed with men,
A—-E and made known unto them the plan of redemption,

A—–FC according to their faith and repentance and their holy works.
A——G 31 Wherefore, He [YHWH] gave [SECOND] COMMANDMENTS [TORAH] unto men [Adam],
A—–FA they having first transgressed the FIRST COMMANDMENTS as to things which were temporal,
A—–FB and becoming as gods [judges],
A—–FC knowing good from evil,
A—-E placing themselves in a state to act,
A—DA or being placed in a state to act according to their wills and pleasures,
A—DB whether to do evil or to do good—
A–C 32 Therefore God [Elohim] gave unto them commandments,
A-BA after having made known unto them the plan of redemption,
A-B-B that they should not do evil,
A-B–C the penalty thereof being a second [spiritual] death,
A-B—D which was an everlasting death
A-B–C as to things pertaining unto righteousness;
A-B-B for on such the plan of redemption could have no power,
A-BA for the works of justice could not be destroyed,
AA according to the supreme goodness of God [Elohim].
-BAA 33 But God [Elohim] did call on men,
-BAB in the name of his Son,
-BAC (this being the plan of redemption which was laid) saying:
-B-B If ye will repent,

-BA 34 Therefore, whosoever repenteth,
-B-B and hardeneth not his heart,
-B–C he shall have claim on mercy through mine Only Begotten Son,
-B—D unto a remission of his sins;
-B–C and these shall enter into my rest.
-B-B 35 And whosoever will harden his heart and will do iniquity,
-BA behold, I swear in my wrath that he shall not enter into my rest.
AAA 36 And now, my brethren, behold I say unto you,
AAB that if ye will harden your hearts
AAC ye shall not enter into the rest of the Lord [YHWH];
A-BA therefore your iniquity provoketh Him
A-B-B that He sendeth down His wrath
A-B-B upon you as in the first provocation,
A-BA yea, according to His word in the last [second] provocation as well as the first [Garden],
A–C to the everlasting destruction of your souls;
A—DA therefore, according to His word,
A—DB unto the last [spiritual] death,
A—DC as well as the first [physical].
A—DA 37 And now, my brethren,
A—DB seeing we know these things,
A—DC and they are true,
A–C let us repent,
A-BA and harden not our hearts,
A-B-B that we provoke not the Lord [YHWH] our God [Elohim]
A-B-B to pull down His wrath upon us in
A-BA these His [YHWH] SECOND COMMANDMENTS [TORAH] which He has given unto us;
AAA but let us enter into the rest of God [Elohim],
AAB which is prepared according to His word.2 Nephi (LDS 1:10) (RLDS 1:22-23)
A But behold, when the time cometh that they shall dwindle in unbelief,

–C and that transgresseth them,
-B and that wasteth the days of his probation,

Both F stanzas brings out the the Mighty and Strong One will have depth of understanding of the Bible and Book of Mormon to be able to convince people to believe and to confound the wicked. Nephi son of Nephi is a type and shadow of the Mighty and Strong One before Yeshua’s / Jesus’ second coming on many points, but right now I want to focus on one how the wicked were angry because they could not disbelieve his words see 3 Nephi (LDS 7:18-20) (RLDS 3:59-61). It is interesting to note how Nephi raised his brother in front of unbelievers, which I hope will put to rest the false idea that those with YHWH’s priesthood can’t heal others because of non-believers watching just as Yeshua / Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead in John 11 in front of non-believers.
—–FA 30 And again, a seer [MSO] will I [YHWH] raise up out of the fruit of thy [Joseph] loins,

—–F–C unto the seed of thy [Joseph] loins [Lehites, Manasseh, Ephraim];
—–F-B and not to the bringing forth of My [YHWH] word only,
—–FA saith the Lord [YHWH], but to the convincing them [Lehites, Manasseh, Ephraim] of My [YHWH] word,—–FA 33 And that seer [MSO] will I [YHWH] bless,
—–F-B and they [enemies] that seek to destroy him [MSO]
—–F-B shall be confounded;
—–FA for this promise I [YHWH] give unto you [Joseph];3 Nephi (LDS 7:18-20) (RLDS 3:59-61)
A 18 And it came to pass that they were angry with him,

13 Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. 14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. 15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent ye may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him. 16 Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellow disciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him; for they feared lest the Jews should take Jesus and put him to death, for as yet they did not understand the power of God.
21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.
32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died.
37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died? 38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself cometh to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it. 39 Jesus said, Take ye away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, saith unto him, Lord, by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days. 40 Jesus saith unto her, Said I not unto thee, that, if thou wouldest believe, thou shouldest see the glory of God? 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. 42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me. 43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth. 44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go.
46 But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.
Both G stanzas brings out how the Mighty and Strong One will help people understand the records, of YHWH’s ancient covenant keeping people, known as the Bible and Book of Mormon which will bring them to the same knowledge of Torah [covenants] that their ancestors had which will restore them. Torah is the knowledge that Joseph Smith told us that we need to know to be saved because without keeping Torah we can not be sactified to become YHWH’s first fruits and recieve Celestial glory to receive of His fullness. (See All Things You Should Do and Kingdom of Heaven).

Hence it needs revelation [word of YHWH / Torah] to assist us, and give us knowledge [law / Torah] of the things of God [Elohim].

The Mighty and Strong One will be a peace maker by bringing people to YHWH’s truth contained within the Bible and the Book of Mormon. One thing that the Angel tells Nephi during his Tree of Life vision is that PEACE is equated with LIFE ETERNAL in 1 Nephi (LDS 14:7) (RLDS 3:214-216). Please take note that in 3 Nephi (LDS 20:40) (RLDS 9:78) [Isaiah 52:7] in the B stanzas it equates PUBLISHING PEACE with PUBLISHING SALVATION, and salvation is sanctification by accepting Yeshua / Jesus and by keeping Torah.

Below are examples of other peace makers teaching and calling repentance, which simply helping people return to YHWH’s ancient and eternal Torah. In Mosiah (LDS 12:21) (RLDS 7:77) [Isaiah 52:7] Noah’s wicked priests are asking Abinadi to explain Isaiah 52:7 to them, which Abinadi does in Mosiah (LDS 15:13-17) (RLDS 8:46-50) applying to it to propehts in general. Mosiah (LDS 27:35-37) (RLDS 11:204-207) is a passage how Alma the younger became a peace maker by teaching repentance by being an example of it and talking about the things of heaven pointing people to where they can receive peace which is Yeshua / Jesus. Mosiah is another important example of how to be a peace maker in Mosiah (LDS 29:43) (RLDS 13:64) by keeping YHWH’s Torah himself and then by helping others to do keep it also. Melchizedek is an important example of establishing PEACE by calling people to repentance which is the duty of the Melchizedek priesthood.

With the controversy with Joseph Smith supposedly coping from Adam Clarke’s commentary to produce the JST, I read all of Adam Clark’s commentary on Genesis 50 to see if there was any suggestion for the restoration of JST Genesis 50:24-38 in Adam Clark’s commentary on Genesis 50. Feel free to Adam Clark’s commentary on Genesis 50 but there is no suggestion for the restoration of JST Genesis 50:24-38 in Adam Clark’s commentary on Genesis 50.
