00:05:19 been colored by my culture here but look

00:11:49 his name’s sake if you are not taking
00:11:51 his name upon you through repentance and
00:11:53 what is taking your name upon you is
00:11:56 becoming like him having his character
00:12:00 which keeping his law tells us how to do
00:12:03 that correct which is repenting that’s
00:12:07 what repenting literally
00:12:10 so yeah every day so if you kill so if
00:12:13 you go out and you kill the law unto
00:12:15 yourself how are you going to repent
00:12:16 well you’re not obviously right I mean
00:12:19 well because you just committed
00:12:26 well okay

00:16:01 them all together yeah
00:16:03 it’s hot and it shows you that the first
00:16:06 five Commandments are about loving God
00:16:10 how the principles Associated the
00:16:13 principles of tie the Commandments
00:16:16 how that is applied to loving God and
00:16:19 how that’s applied and the second five
00:16:20 is how that Supply I’ve been loving your
00:16:22 neighborhood right and so a lot of
00:16:23 people will go four and six
00:16:26 um which I can understand why they do
00:16:28 that but I think when you look into a
00:16:30 deeper it’s actually five and five which
00:16:32 I I would also say support some other
00:16:35 theories that I have like the ten
00:16:37 virgins the five y’s yep
00:16:41 doing all ten
00:16:43 were the five unwise are only doing
00:16:46 these five all that didn’t highlight
00:16:48 very well but anyway they’re doing the
00:16:50 they’re doing the second five yeah
00:16:52 they’re doing the second five
00:16:54 right
00:16:55 um
00:16:56 because they’re only trading uh other
00:17:00 people well but they’re not
00:17:02 honoring or worshiping Yahweh the way
00:17:04 that he wants to be worshiped which
00:17:06 means that they don’t really know him
00:17:08 because right and they won’t recognize
00:17:11 him or they won’t even be around when he
00:17:13 comes to say hey come on into the feast
00:17:15 right the feast in fact part of the
00:17:18 Sabbath there’s three types of sabbaths
00:17:21 there’s the weekly Sabbath which
00:17:23 everybody knows about right there’s the
00:17:26 yearly Sabbath which are also known as
00:17:28 the high holidays or the feasts holidays
00:17:30 right which some people know about not
00:17:33 everybody many reject them I would say
00:17:35 that many know about but you respect
00:17:38 yeah that’s probably a better way of
00:17:41 putting it and then then there’s the
00:17:44 other type is the moonly Sabbath which
00:17:46 very I would say a few know about that
00:17:49 yeah and well and most people call you
00:17:52 crazy for wanting to to keep it but it
00:17:54 is or Pagan or Pagan
00:17:57 um which it’s it’s actually in the
00:17:59 scriptures but uh these are showing
00:18:02 joining us how Yahweh wants us to
00:18:05 worship Him and they’re actually
00:18:07 teaching us about him and prophecy of
00:18:10 things to come and the gospel and I
00:18:12 could go on but anyways this is a side
00:18:15 job it’s important and it goes along
00:18:19 with protecting the truth so so and
00:18:21 obviously one about the weekly Sabbath
00:18:24 it points to the Millennium range right
00:18:28 right and so there’s truth in these
00:18:30 sabbaths that a lot of people don’t
00:18:33 think about but that one I think is
00:18:36 pretty obvious but the others have a lot
00:18:38 of good truth to it also but right I’m
00:18:40 sidetracking interesting we are uh no
00:18:43 this is very interesting we are now
00:18:45 diverted uh let’s see fully diverted
00:18:48 yeah
00:18:50 um so but the other world we huh where
00:18:54 were we yeah Genesis 19 right okay

00:19:00 in Matthew

00:20:08 I I and I I’m contrasting that to what a
00:20:11 lot of society will say they are Society
00:20:14 will say that peacemakers are ones that
00:20:16 will just be quiet so that way there’s
00:20:18 no contention just roll over just roll
00:20:21 over and take it buddy you’re a
00:20:23 peacemaker yeah that’s not a peacemaker
00:20:26 so first of all that’s a spineless
00:20:29 person that’s what that is but anyways
00:20:31 yes so
00:20:33 um
00:20:34 yeah the piece that this is referring to
00:20:37 is the piece that Yahweh gives us when
00:20:39 we’re keeping his Commandments the main
00:20:42 the main thing it was something to point
00:20:45 out
00:20:45 is that the is that the good man is not
00:20:48 the harmless man the man who won’t stand
00:20:51 up for anything the good man is a man
00:20:53 who is potentially very dangerous
00:20:56 to the powers that the powers that want
00:20:59 wickedness but uh voluntarily keeps
00:21:03 voluntarily but is voluntarily good to
00:21:07 people right
00:21:09 um so uh The Peacemaker that this is
00:21:14 talking about is someone who goes around
00:21:16 teaching yahweh’s ancient internal ways
00:21:20 so that way people can have peace making
00:21:24 the way of Peace just like uh
00:21:26 Melchizedek was the Prince of Peace yeah
00:21:31 um uh and that actually even enties to
00:21:34 righteousness and so I’m curious how you
00:21:37 tie that into the first ba BB okay so
00:21:41 yeah all right so let’s do that so what
00:21:44 happens when you’re Mourning
00:21:46 what causes Mourning
00:21:48 when things are going wrong right yeah
00:21:53 what is right when things aren’t right
00:21:56 let’s let’s just say that when things
00:21:58 are not right that’s when people mourn
00:22:00 right so what
00:22:04 what would cause a peacemaker to mourn
00:22:09 people’s wickedness right and we’ll see
00:22:12 that in the scriptures for uh one big
00:22:15 example is Enos right yes
00:22:19 yep he he became a peacemaker and in his
00:22:22 prayer he was mourning for the
00:22:25 wickedness of the people
00:22:27 yep he wanted them to come to the truth
00:22:30 right
00:22:31 shoot wasn’t the Earth even mourning for
00:22:34 the wickedness of the people yes yes
00:22:36 that is right yeah very good point
00:22:40 um so but that’s how they’re connected
00:22:41 together uh in in two ways I would say
00:22:44 when bad things are happening it it’s
00:22:48 still because of wickedness
00:22:50 according to the righteousness but also
00:22:53 the righteous
00:22:55 want the the wicked to become righteous
00:23:00 righteousness
00:23:01 peacemakers are like how are the
00:23:04 mourning come or those more uncomforted
00:23:06 by becoming by being called by by
00:23:10 becoming a peacemaker by becoming the
00:23:12 children of God right right by
00:23:15 fulfilling their calling as children of
00:23:18 God
00:23:19 because they shall be called the
00:23:22 children of God the children are
00:23:24 followers
00:23:26 right uh and so that’s how they get
00:23:29 their comfort
00:23:30 yeah okay all right
00:23:33 all right so I think let’s go on to
00:23:35 cease yep and blessed are the meek for
00:23:38 they shall inherit the earth
00:23:40 and blessed are all the pure in heart
00:23:43 for they shall see God now this really

00:35:24 behavior
00:35:26 and what teaches us how to behave holy

00:35:38 is yahweh’s Mercy yeah
00:35:41 and so all these things are pointing to
00:35:44 that
00:35:45 because all these right here are actual
00:35:50 Commandments
00:35:51 yeah and which would make sense that
00:35:55 tours at the Apex
00:35:57 but because we need his Mercy also
00:36:00 because I don’t know about you guys
00:36:03 but I have sinned and so I only deserve
00:36:07 death so even from the even if I were
00:36:10 even fully repented
00:36:12 and baptized
00:36:17 even
00:36:18 if
00:36:19 from this point on I live with and even
00:36:22 even for even living without sin from
00:36:25 this point on I am dead I am a dead yeah
00:36:27 you’re still dead man if I do not accept
00:36:33 or in Yeshua and his atonement

00:36:42 your punishment is physical and
00:36:45 spiritual death yep and so

00:36:53 um the mercy
00:36:55 is the baptism of fire oops I

00:37:06 baptism of the Holy Ghost the
00:37:07 sanctification which gives you the
00:37:09 highest Glory right because we although
00:37:12 we’re saved by Mercy
00:37:14 we are still rewarded by our works

00:37:21 so here you’re just I’m just throwing
00:37:24 this out here this might be a little
00:37:25 stretched but there’s a little part of
00:37:26 the doctrine of Christ right there

00:37:30 well as I see it the whole thing teaches

00:37:36 those two points yeah a group likes to
00:37:39 focus yeah absolutely on that particular
00:37:41 group right absolutely
00:37:43 um and the thing is the thing is is that

00:37:49 that there are two parts to each and
00:37:51 everything there’s what we do and
00:37:53 there’s what it is

00:39:16 and I do believe that is part of it I
00:39:19 also believe it is literally fasting

00:39:30 yeah you’re hungering and thirsting in

00:39:33 it’s it’s more than a desire it’s more
00:39:36 than a desire right fasting is the
00:39:39 desire acted upon right yes right which
00:39:42 is more than a desire you’re right it
00:39:44 makes it more than a desire because a
00:39:46 lot of people desire a lot of things but
00:39:50 they’re not willing to put in the work
00:39:51 and the effort to get them right that’s
00:39:54 a very good point a lot of people say
00:39:56 desire a lot of things
00:39:59 well I I think a lot of people desire to
00:40:02 be famous but they don’t want to put
00:40:04 forth the effort to come at right right
00:40:06 I do think you can have a desire but
00:40:09 don’t put effort towards getting it yeah
00:40:12 right that’s true you can desire a lot
00:40:15 of things
00:40:16 right but what you’re really going to
00:40:18 obtain is what you put out the effort to
00:40:20 to obtain
00:40:22 oh yeah well the yeah it’s like what we
00:40:26 were talking about earlier today on our
00:40:28 walk student
00:40:30 idea that uh
00:40:32 mankind because we have the Power of
00:40:35 Choice what we truly desire we will
00:40:38 always obtain
00:40:39 so yeah I do think um there’s a
00:40:43 hierarchy of desires there’s some things
00:40:45 that we desire more than others people
00:40:49 desire to be famous but they also desire
00:40:51 to be lazy right now and the the desire
00:40:53 to be late wins out right right yeah or
00:40:57 their desire to play their current video
00:40:58 game wins out all right right right so
00:41:03 that takes hard work
00:41:05 but but at the same time what what man
00:41:09 by that argument
00:41:11 I think y’all are both saying the same
00:41:13 thing only differently by that argument
00:41:15 what you truly desire is what you’ve
00:41:18 obtained we’re right because it’s the
00:41:20 the highest priority right your highest

00:41:32 game you’ve obtained your desire you’re

00:46:59 verse three it tells us but this is not
00:47:02 all what had they added

00:47:09 were with Alma at the time the angel
00:47:12 first appeared on to him therefore Alma
00:47:14 did Rejoice exceedingly to see his
00:47:15 Brethren and what Adam more to his Joy
00:47:17 they were still his brethren in the Lord
00:47:19 here they had whacked strong in the
00:47:22 knowledge of the truth

00:47:40 know how you can get anything other than

00:47:50 themselves too much prayer and fasting
00:47:54 therefore because they had studied the

00:48:03 a spirit of Prophecy
00:48:07 and the spirit of Revelation Spirit of
00:48:10 Revelation and when they taught they
00:48:12 taught with power and authority a god
00:48:14 this reminds me of a question that I
00:48:17 asked earlier today
00:48:20 why why can’t we teach with convincing
00:48:23 power
00:48:25 are we spending enough time in the
00:48:27 scriptures
00:48:28 well are we allowing the scriptures to
00:48:30 transform Our Lives yeah are we praying
00:48:34 and fasting
00:48:36 so I think there’s two aspects to that
00:48:39 because there’s what we can do
00:48:41 there’s also the willingness of the
00:48:44 people yeah because like Jeremiah
00:48:47 I think he was a pretty good prophet he
00:48:50 was he preached very powerfully
00:48:53 and you didn’t get too many Comforts no
00:48:54 he didn’t and so things that he got got
00:48:57 Spirited Away but I I’m just saying it’s
00:49:00 there’s two portions to that so even if
00:49:05 you are filled with the spirit don’t be
00:49:08 so hard in yourself on it because you’re
00:49:10 not getting Converse in fact even this
00:49:12 history further down although Ammon uh
00:49:16 got converts his brothers didn’t because
00:49:20 they got a harder lot right I I I don’t
00:49:24 know if that’s the exact phrase but
00:49:26 there is something along that later yes
00:49:28 but then but then you always have the
00:49:30 example of a Benedict who taught with
00:49:33 great power and authority to the point
00:49:35 his face was Illuminating right yes to
00:49:39 the point where he literally glowed

00:49:50 mean he was like being alive from this

01:00:44 perfectly he did it all yeah he is he
01:00:47 was our perfect example and so he’s
01:00:49 saying come unto me by following my

01:01:02 and the Commandments of my father
01:01:05 so here he is saying

01:01:36 on a mountain on a mountain Mount Sinai
01:01:39 right all right so let’s go look at
01:01:44 where was the terminal ea2 uh on the
01:01:48 mountain so uh Ben wants to bring out
01:01:51 how the Torah was preached on a mountain
01:01:54 as in just go along with what we’re
01:01:55 saying there okay so the second e behold
01:01:59 ye have the Commandments before you
01:02:02 so they had they know the Ten
01:02:05 Commandments right in fact um
01:02:08 was it the rich man that came and asked
01:02:11 him what do I need to do to have to be
01:02:13 saved your eternal life and he’s like
01:02:16 gone with thy father and my mother
01:02:18 before me blah blah blah and the young
01:02:21 man’s like I’ve done this my whole life
01:02:25 anyways
01:02:26 I think basically they were trying to
01:02:28 put him in a trap but uh yes there was
01:02:32 keep the Ten Commandments right the the
01:02:36 basis for everything else invite later
01:02:40 on Yeshua states that
01:02:42 that’s what all the law
01:02:45 and the problem and the things that the
01:02:48 prophet taught hang upon loving Yahweh
01:02:53 yeah loving your neighbor and in fact
01:02:56 that actually kind of just go back about
01:02:59 you guys to
01:03:02 parts of here’s the law go ahead yeah
01:03:05 the other thing is is a sermon on the
01:03:08 sermon on Torah sermon on the mouth
01:03:10 was given at the same time that the law
01:03:13 was administered oh right yesterday yeah
01:03:16 Thanksgiving during Pentecost shall we
01:03:19 walked same time
01:03:21 um
01:03:23 also when he came to the Nephites in 35
01:03:27 11 through various chapters right that’s
01:03:32 cost and I have a post that gets into
01:03:35 some of the details on that the Holy
01:03:37 Spirit the Holy Ghost are the same give
01:03:39 some proofs for that for that particular
01:03:41 one but uh just in addition to
01:03:45 um
01:03:46 this sermon at the temple slash Sermon
01:03:49 on the Mount being regiven there there’s
01:03:51 other evidences in the text that shows
01:03:53 that it was Pentecost shall we won’t go
01:03:55 along with that
01:03:57 um but here here’s those two love God oh
01:04:00 this is so these first five is love God
01:04:05 the second five love your neighbor yep
01:04:09 this is what hangs hangs AKA all the law
01:04:13 is based upon
01:04:15 right now some people say there’s all
01:04:19 these other laws out there but those
01:04:21 other laws were
01:04:23 are not actual other laws they’re
01:04:26 expounding these ten when children of
01:04:30 Israel had problems keeping these ten
01:04:34 Yahweh explain these ten even more and
01:04:38 deeper to help them keep them
01:04:40 he
01:04:42 was expanding
01:04:46 expounding these ten well like those ten
01:04:52 those ten are explaining
01:04:56 the two yes those ten are explaining the
01:05:00 two which if we do which without that
01:05:04 explanation we’re just left with this
01:05:07 Airy fairy feeling of Love kind of thing
01:05:10 yeah which
01:05:12 um is all well and good the the until
01:05:16 it’s not
01:05:18 but uh
01:05:21 it doesn’t do much for you right and
01:05:25 then you’re always having to question
01:05:27 what do I need to improve or how how do
01:05:31 I do it because it’s a free fairy right
01:05:35 it’s not defined yeah where
01:05:40 I I know a lot of people have this
01:05:42 negative feeling about the law
01:05:45 but those same people actually have
01:05:48 feelings of not understanding and
01:05:50 knowing what to do right
01:05:52 and some of them actually do want to
01:05:54 know what to do and it’s simple
01:05:56 he wrote it down with his own finger
01:06:01 what do you do and then came to Earth
01:06:04 himself to satisfy the wear guilt of our
01:06:09 sin exactly and and part of that was
01:06:12 being the perfect example yes yes
01:06:16 showing in very word not just in word
01:06:20 but in very dued yeah
01:06:23 how to live the law right
01:06:28 so perfectly perfectly yes which is
01:06:32 actually commanded in the sermon on the
01:06:34 temple and the sermon in the mouth yeah
01:06:37 mm-hmm
01:06:38 so
01:06:40 anyways we can go over again but uh
01:06:43 lectures on faith fives staged it also
01:06:47 um so I uh
01:06:50 we left off EA oh okay okay so we’re in
01:06:53 EB thank you because I was trying to
01:06:56 remember where we’re at so Evie That You
01:06:59 Shall Believe in Me
01:07:02 uh because so you know
01:07:05 you got to keep the law
01:07:07 and you need to come under his authority
01:07:09 right right or the two requirements
01:07:12 which we even saw on the Beatitudes also

01:07:18 um do that then the law is fulfilled so
01:07:21 EA is look the law is before you
01:07:25 and the other EA the law uh e b
01:07:30 uh you should believe in me and I am
01:07:35 your example
01:07:36 yep I showed it how you learn to keep it
01:07:40 because I’m your example I taught it to
01:07:42 you and I demonstrated it to you right
01:07:45 yes
01:07:49 so f
01:07:51 and ye shall repent of your sins
01:07:55 so the other F goes along a broken heart
01:07:59 open heart and a contrite spirit is
01:08:02 repenting yeah when you have those when
01:08:05 you really have those you will repent
01:08:08 which is returning unto the law
01:08:12 and then do that come unto him well this
01:08:16 end
01:08:18 because uh there’s the two parts keep
01:08:21 the law yeah and come unto me so that
01:08:25 way your past won’t hold you back okay
01:08:28 okay okay right right
01:08:33 it’s basically put it one way that I
01:08:35 sometimes think about it is that
01:08:38 the grace of Mercy is for our past
01:08:40 because we can’t keep the law going
01:08:43 forward now correct correct we can live
01:08:47 without sin right right from here on out
01:08:51 right
01:08:52 um but if you so that’s
01:08:55 you’re putting yourself in some
01:08:57 Dangerous Waters so you you run the risk
01:09:01 of canceling even Grace for yourself
01:09:03 correct you because one saved always
01:09:06 saved is uh a false teaching from
01:09:09 sanctum right yes it is I agree now I
01:09:15 there I I don’t know because there’s the
01:09:19 different degrees of Glory okay so the
01:09:22 sin in itself
01:09:25 uh I I got to be careful how I say this
01:09:29 um sin will make you dark and then which
01:09:33 will then make you reject the Messiah
01:09:36 that’s probably the best way to say what
01:09:37 I’m trying to say okay yeah
01:09:43 um so
01:09:45 um
01:09:46 just repent
01:09:48 and keep the law that’s the best answer
01:09:50 especially if you want to go be with him
01:09:53 rather than just in the Kingdom so
01:09:58 um it’s
01:09:59 just come under him and repent which has
01:10:03 been a common theme in multiple of these
01:10:06 portions in these two chaisms that we’ve
01:10:10 gone over right right but that is but
01:10:12 that is the biggest that is the biggest
01:10:15 message that has to go out is turn from
01:10:17 your sins return to God what yeah I I
01:10:23 think
01:10:24 the most important thing is coming under
01:10:26 him right
01:10:28 um because like like
01:10:30 Ben said earlier
01:10:34 if we keep the law perfectly right now
01:10:36 but we reject the Messiah we’re still
01:10:38 going yeah we’re still going to hell
01:10:40 we’re going to be a sign of perdition
01:10:41 okay
01:10:43 right because we need that right right
01:10:47 yeah accepting him is better than not
01:10:50 accepting him even if you don’t that’s
01:10:53 the law that is the necessity of baptism
01:10:56 right under Authority
01:11:00 right you enter into his death
01:11:05 you bury the old man in the water
01:11:09 yeah believing in his race
01:11:12 raised a new from the Dust
01:11:17 formed a new creature
01:11:19 raised
01:11:21 sown and Corruption raised in
01:11:24 incorruption
01:11:25 and a new creature does things in a new
01:11:28 way
01:11:29 okay now yahweh’s way now right which is
01:11:36 very much why you’re sewn your baptism
01:11:40 is sown in corruption raised in
01:11:43 incorruption yes I’m trying to yep
01:11:47 excuse me bring it out more yeah but I I
01:11:50 do think coming unto him is the most
01:11:53 important and I think this kaizens shows
01:11:56 that because it is the Apex right yeah
01:11:58 they come unto me the focus come on to
01:12:02 me yeah yes
01:12:04 he’s he’s pleading
01:12:07 yeah come unto me and be saved words
01:12:11 that carry so much yeah
01:12:15 yes so I I I I think that’s a really
01:12:19 good
01:12:19 um chaism that I brought out from the
01:12:22 sermon at the temple
01:12:24 um which is from uh another way they
01:12:27 call it sometimes sermon on Torah right
01:12:30 right come on to to him and keep his
01:12:33 Commandments at the same time right and
01:12:36 I think even the commit the context of
01:12:39 this shows that they had the law before
01:12:42 this sermon that he says the law is
01:12:45 before you
01:12:47 right this it’s what they had before and
01:12:50 he’s just helping them keep it
01:12:52 um right saying you have the law before
01:12:55 you before he told them what to do right
01:12:58 that wouldn’t make sense right no no
01:13:02 and in nowhere
01:13:05 in nowhere in all of his teaching and
01:13:07 third Nephi does he specify
01:13:12 so clearly
01:13:14 how to live the holy Behavior as he does
01:13:17 in the law
01:13:19 right
01:13:23 nowhere in his entire Ministry and his
01:13:25 mortal Ministry does he give anything
01:13:28 that comes close to replacing the law
01:13:30 when it comes to teaching us at leveling
01:13:32 Behavior except that he teaches it
01:13:34 better
01:13:37 um yeah well a lot of things that he did
01:13:40 teach was actually in the Tanaka the Old
01:13:43 Testament he just kind of tied it
01:13:44 together
01:13:45 a lot better and it’s deeper
01:13:48 understanding because he was the best
01:13:50 teacher well yeah because it’s his law
01:13:53 but anyway right
01:13:56 we have a better understanding maybe
01:13:59 since it was his yeah yeah I don’t know
01:14:04 the Pinnacle School that he graduates
01:14:08 from oh boy oh boy here we go oh man uh
01:14:13 uh and third Nephi one of the later
01:14:16 chapters a couple times he brings out
01:14:19 that he made his father’s law his own
01:14:22 and when you make your own you can you
01:14:25 understand it more so you do have that
01:14:27 deeper understanding that you can then
01:14:29 give these deeper insights from it right
01:14:34 um which is what we which is what we all
01:14:36 try to do we try to make the law our own
01:14:40 us we are I would say not all
01:14:44 um the work not everyone’s trying to
01:14:46 make the law of their own but right most
01:14:49 people are trying to make their own law
01:14:50 yeah yeah
01:14:52 unfortunately very sadly uh was 88 84
01:14:57 said something on that
01:14:59 um you know thank you
01:15:02 yeah it does actually yeah
01:15:06 all right
01:15:10 matters
01:15:12 yeah and so okay so reiki’s wrong but
01:15:20 Reiki doesn’t
01:15:22 understanding even with even those who
01:15:25 believe in it

01:16:04 Mormon sure pull it from The Book of
01:16:06 Mormon uh which is what they use to say
01:16:10 that the law is done away and the other
01:16:12 thing is this is after his death so uh
01:16:17 and Resurrection which is when they
01:16:18 claim the law was done away with or Tor
01:16:22 was done away with uh it’s the law of
01:16:24 Moses that was done away with not Torah
01:16:26 but
01:16:27 um anyway let’s not get into that that’s
01:16:29 another side yeah you digress yes
01:16:31 considering this was given on
01:16:35 first of all that’s commanded in Torah
01:16:39 after his death and Resurrection if
01:16:42 Torah is not to be kept anymore
01:16:48 this is really confusing because well
01:16:51 then God ceases to be God yeah but here
01:16:55 he is saying keep the law on a day that
01:16:57 is specified in the law
01:17:00 um to keep so anyways and that that
01:17:06 form of
01:17:09 um
