D&C 1844 103 / LDS 124 / RLDS 107

Notes why Benjamin, from Torah is Eternal, and I, Steven, don’t believe the majority of D&C (1844 103) (LDS 124) (RLDS 107) is from YHWH Elohim through the holy prophet Joseph Smith. There are some verses, such 21-27, 92-96, 103-106, 108-110, 128, 115-116, 139-140 which we do believe is potentially from YHWH through Joseph Smith. Everyone in this section that is commanded to buy stock in the house is a member of the Nauvoo Masonic Lodge other than Joseph Smith, there are people who claim Joseph Smith was a Freemason but the paperwork they use to claim this has many problems.

2 Your prayers are acceptable before me; and in answer to them I say unto you, that you are now called immediately to make a solemn proclamation of my gospel, and of this stake which I have planted to be a cornerstone of Zion, which shall be polished with the refinement which is after the similitude of a palace.

2) Joseph Smith never wrote this proclamation that is being commanded to write immediately. After Joseph Smith lost the 116 pages, Joseph Smith made it a habit to do what YHWH commanded him. From this we can gather that Joseph Smith never received this supposed command is this supposed revelation. The 1845 proclamation to the world that the twelve apostles did, who are not Joseph Smith just case you didn’t know that, does satisfy the requirement of immediate because it was four years later. (see https://archives.byui.edu/s/public/page/1845-proclamation ) A palace is a person’s house not a temple or a city which this supposed revelation is dealing with. This is more along the lines of how Brigham Young loved to have palaces for houses at the expense of the poor.

4 Let it be written in the spirit of meekness and by the power of the Holy Ghost, which shall be in you at the time of the writing of the same;

4) While people claim the 1845 proclamation to the world that the twelve did was to satisfy the stated requirements for the supposed commend, it was not in the spirit that is mention in meekness but it was in a spirit of entitlement and of demands of money in reparations and for the murder of Joseph Smith, which we will add the twelve were responsible for (see Joseph Smith’s Murder) and this is a tatic that evil people use in that they blame others for what they did themselves, not to mention they were demanding this from the whole world, even if you don’t believe that the twelve was responsible for Joseph Smith’s Murder the whole world was not responsible for it.

5 For it shall be given you by the Holy Ghost to know my will concerning those kings and authorities, even what shall befall them in a time to come.

5) The 1845 proclamation did have prophecy against the nations of the world, which none of the supposed prophecies happened, showing it was not by the Holy Spirit.

6 For, behold, I am about to call upon them to give heed to the light and glory of Zion, for the set time has come to favor her.

6) The 1845 proclamation did not preach the gospel aka the light and the glory of Zion to the nations, it was basically saying give us money, support our temple, and support our missionaries or else.

7 Call ye, therefore, upon them with loud proclamation, and with your testimony, fearing them not, for they are as grass, and all their glory as the flower thereof which soon falleth, that they may be left also without excuse—

7) The 1845 proclamation did not leave people without excuse for not heeding it, because it had no explanations or expounding the scriptures which is how you leave people without excuse or in other words laying it out so simply a child can understand it and know it to from YHWH Elohim.

8 And that I may visit them in the day of visitation, when I shall unveil the face of my covering, to appoint the portion of the oppressor among hypocrites, where there is gnashing of teeth, if they reject my servants and my testimony which I have revealed unto them.

8) “The day of visitation” is a phrase that directly points to the second coming not the time of when this supposed revelation was given.

9 And again, I will visit and soften their hearts, many of them for your good, that ye may find grace in their eyes, that they may come to the light of truth, and the Gentiles to the exaltation or lifting up of Zion.

9) This verse never happened and thus is a false prophecy and thus not from YHWH Elohim, see Edmund’s Tucker Act, where polygamy was declared a crime and that the assets of the LDS / Brighamite church were taken in addition the church was completely disbanded and no longer existed as a legal entity.

10 For the day of my visitation cometh speedily, in an hour when ye think not of; and where shall be the safety of my people, and refuge for those who shall be left of them?

10) “For those who shall be left of them” is misunderstanding of Isaiah 6:13.

11 Awake, O kings of the earth! Come ye, O, come ye, with your gold and your silver, to the help of my people, to the house of the daughters of Zion.

11) The 1845 proclamation has this wording verbatim showing both documents have the same author. There is a president set for those in the covenant of them giving their precious things for the building and furnishing the tabernacle of Solomon’s temple, and the building of Nehemiah’s temple. These offerings were not from the world aka non-believers and were only from the believers. Isaiah 49:23 (1 Nephi (LDS 21:23) (RLDS 6:53)) does talk about nursing fathers, but nursing is taking care of with education and oversight not just giving of precious metals which leads to the idea of just giving money, which goes along with Brigham Young’s desires and not YHWH’s. (see King Brigham)

12 And again, verily I say unto you, let my servant Robert B. Thompson help you to write this proclamation, for I am well pleased with him, and that he should be with you;

12) Robert B. Thompson is not someone who YHWH would appoint to such a duty and died before the proclamation was done. He was a Danite, and was involved in the 1838 Mormon War atrocity. He was standing next to apostle David W. Patten when Patten was killed at the Battle of Crooked River, proof how he was a Danite and was involved in the Galtian Masicure. He was also involved in destroying history that made the church look bad, where YHWH in Torah commands us to keep our history, and those who are familiar with the scripture would know that YHWH does not hide peoples not organizations sins as Robert B Thompson was involved in doing.

13 Let him, therefore, hearken to your counsel, and I will bless him with a multiplicity of blessings; let him be faithful and true in all things from henceforth, and he shall be great in mine eyes;

13) Robert B. Thompson died of pneumonia instead of receiving a multiplicity of blessing.

16 Again, let my servant John C. Bennett help you in your labor in sending my word to the kings and people of the earth, and stand by you, even you my servant Joseph Smith, in the hour of affliction; and his reward shall not fail if he receive counsel.

16) YHWH would not be delegating John C. Bennett to sending out His word to the world but would be calling out his sins as Joseph Smith sent George Miller to investigate rumors of adultery that were confirmed in Feb 1841.

17 And for his love he shall be great, for he shall be mine if he do this, saith the Lord. I have seen the work which he hath done, which I accept if he continue, and will crown him with blessings and great glory.

17) see verse 16.

19 That when he shall finish his work I may receive him unto myself, even as I did my servant David Patten, who is with me at this time, and also my servant Edward Partridge, and also my aged servant Joseph Smith, Sen., who sitteth with Abraham at his right hand, and blessed and holy is he, for he is mine.

19) David Patten was a very wicked man, one of Brigham Young’s boys, a Danite.

20 And again, verily I say unto you, my servant George Miller is without guile; he may be trusted because of the integrity of his heart; and for the love which he has to my testimony I, the Lord, love him.

20) Although there is not problems with the characterization of George Miller, it does however show internal inconsistencies within this supposed revelation see verses 16-17.

28 For there is not a place found on earth that he may come to and restore again that which was lost unto you, or which he hath taken away, even the fulness of the priesthood.

28) Verses 22-27 is describing a house where possible converts can stay while learning about the restoration to see if they wanted to join it. If YHWH needed a building to restore priesthood, which He does not, YHWH Elohim would not be using a hotel that is meant for people who are starting to believe in the restoration and want to learn more about it to restore the priesthood. YHWH Elohim does not need a building to restore the Melchizedek Priesthood because it’s done by His own voice as stated in the JST, D&C, BoM and a building was not needed see Priesthood last half. A great example of this is when Nephi received the sealing power (which is receiving the fullness of the priesthood) while on the road to his house see Helaman (LDS 10:2-5) (RLDS 3:113-117), this did not happen in a temple or a house but while Nephi was on the road.

29 For a baptismal font there is not upon the earth, that they, my saints, may be baptized for those who are dead—

29) Yeshua / Jesus was baptized in the RIVER Jordan and not the font Jordan. Although this verse could be read as baptisms of those who have sinned and thus are spiritually dead, this verse is taken for justification for proxy baptisms for the dead people which we have shown from the Book of Mormon and other scriptures as false see D&C (LDS 127) (RLDS 109) (1844 105), D&C (LDS 128) (RLDS 110) (1844 106), Holy Spirit and the Holy Ghost are the same.

30 For this ordinance belongeth to my house, and cannot be acceptable to me, only in the days of your poverty, wherein ye are not able to build a house unto me.

30) Considering history and how the members were baptized in rivers, and that this verse is claiming the proxy baptisms for the dead people needs to be done in a build, verse 29 is talking about proxy baptisms for dead people. The reason that this needs to be done in a build instead of out in the open is because they don’t want it seen because it is of the occult, and it was first done by gnostic Christians.

31 But I command you, all ye my saints, to build a house unto me; and I grant unto you a sufficient time to build a house unto me; and during this time your baptisms shall be acceptable unto me.

31) According to scriptures, saints are people who have been sanctified which is done by accepting Yeshua and keeping His Torah. Very few people in Nauvoo were saints shown by the fact they were not really trying to keep YHWH’s commandments shown by the fact the were focused on constructing the wrong buildings and polygamy which is adultery and money laundering and counterfeiting and theft and not being good neighbors which caused many of their persecutions. What is the sufficient time that YHWH granted to build this supposed house? There is a problem in the fact that verse 30, although it states you can do it outside a house when you are poor, it does not state anything about a transition for when you are not poor and don’t have a house. Meaning if you are not poor and can afford to build a house, you can’t do it outside.

32 But behold, at the end of this appointment your baptisms for your dead shall not be acceptable unto me; and if you do not these things at the end of the appointment ye shall be rejected as a church, with your dead, saith the Lord your God.

32) So when was the end of the allotted time to build the supposed house?

33 For verily I say unto you, that after you have had sufficient time to build a house to me, wherein the ordinance of baptizing for the dead belongeth, and for which the same was instituted from before the foundation of the world, your baptisms for your dead cannot be acceptable unto me;

33) See verses 27 -32. If proxy baptisms for dead people was instituted before the foundation of the world, where is it clearly referenced, without taking liberties, in the scriptures.

34 For therein are the keys of the holy priesthood ordained, that you may receive honor and glory.

34) The keys of the priesthood have nothing to do with proxy baptisms for dead people. Honor and glory deals with living Torah now and not doing DEAD works.

35 And after this time, your baptisms for the dead, by those who are scattered abroad, are not acceptable unto me, saith the Lord.

35) So are proxy baptisms for dead people accepted while working on a house or not? What does time have to do with what is right and what is wrong?

36 For it is ordained that in Zion, and in her stakes, and in Jerusalem, those places which I have appointed for refuge, shall be the places for your baptisms for your dead.

36) see previous verses

37 And again, verily I say unto you, how shall your washings be acceptable unto me, except ye perform them in a house which you have built to my name?

37) Brighamite washings are done in secret in contrast to scriptural washing are done where all can see it done as with Aaron and his sons in the door of the tabernacle see Exodus 29:4.

38 For, for this cause I commanded Moses that he should build a tabernacle, that they should bear it with them in the wilderness, and to build a house in the land of promise, that those ordinances might be revealed which had been hid from before the world was.

38) Moses was never commanded to build a house in the promised land, for one Moses never went to the promised land. Brighamites teach that baptism for the dead could not be done until after Yeshua’s resurrection, which is contrary to what this verse is claiming. Is this a restoration in that it is bringing back what was already before, or doing something brand spanking, see Restoration definition.

39 Therefore, verily I say unto you, that your anointings, and your washings, and your baptisms for the dead, and your solemn assemblies, and your memorials for your sacrifices by the sons of Levi, and for your oracles in your most holy places wherein you receive conversations, and your statutes and judgments, for the beginning of the revelations and foundation of Zion, and for the glory, honor, and endowment of all her municipals, are ordained by the ordinance of my holy house, which my people are always commanded to build unto my holy name.

39) Solemn assemblies is when you come together for the High Holidays. Why are not the animal sacrifices that the sons of Aaron perform not being done in the LDS / Brighamite Temple if they are for a memorial? Why not is revelation being proclaimed from the temple because oracles are revelations. Why are not judgements being done in the temple as this verse describes? Why are there not temples in every municipals which is another word for cities?

40 And verily I say unto you, let this house be built unto my name, that I may reveal mine ordinances therein unto my people;

40) This house was never finished and yet supposed YHWH revealed the ordinances to Joseph Smith. So which was it, does the house need to be built or does it not to reveal these supposed ordinances?

41 For I deign to reveal unto my church things which have been kept hid from before the foundation of the world, things that pertain to the dispensation of the fulness of times.

41) The doctrine of the Messiah will not change. Faith, repentance, baptism of water then of fire and also holy spirit are the ordnances of the gospel as stated in the original articles of faith before the LDS / Brighamite church modified them. We are not in the fulness of times yet. Joseph did not reveal everything as stated in 1 Nephi (LDS 13:34) (RLDS 3:181-182) see Much vs All https://seekingyhwh.org/2020/06/20/much-vs-all-in-lds-dc-13240/ . On top of that it’s the Mighty and Strong One who will restore all things thus the fulness of times see JST Matthew 17:10-14 and JST John 1:21-22,26.

42 And I will show unto my servant Joseph all things pertaining to this house, and the priesthood thereof, and the place whereon it shall be built. 43 And ye shall build it on the place where you have contemplated building it, for that is the spot which I have chosen for you to build it.

42-43) It’s awfully convenient that the location YHWH wanted the house to be places was the same location that people wanted it to be.

45 And if my people will hearken unto my voice, and unto the voice of my servants whom I have appointed to lead my people, behold, verily I say unto you, they shall not be moved out of their place.

45) The members were driven out of Nauvoo, so either A) false prophecy B) false revelation C) they didn’t listen to YHWH or His servants D) mixture of the A – C. Leaders of YHWH’s church are done by common consent or in others words voting of those who have the required priesthood for the position.

46 But if they will not hearken to my voice, nor unto the voice of these men whom I have appointed, they shall not be blest, because they pollute mine holy grounds, and mine holy ordinances, and charters, and my holy words which I give unto them.

46) So if non-believers do not believe in the words of the supposed leaders, does that make the supposed holy grounds and supposed holy ordinances polluted? Question can man pollute what is holy? Yes, in the sense they can take what YHWH gave and modify it (which the LDS / Brighamite church has modified the Brighamite temple ceremony by counsels of men which is one thing James E Talmage claims that got the Catholic church to lose it’s authority despite it never had authority). No, because when men changes YHWH’s ordinances it is no longer the original and the original is still holy.

47 And it shall come to pass that if you build a house unto my name, and do not do the things that I say, I will not perform the oath which I make unto you, neither fulfil the promises which ye expect at my hands, saith the Lord.

47) The LDS / Brighamite temple ordinance has been changing even Brigham Young changed after he created it. And since it has been changed, if you believe the ordinance was originally from YHWH, the changes you have now are not, therefore you cannot expect the blessing for performing this supposed ordinance according to this verse.

49 Verily, verily, I say unto you, that when I give a commandment to any of the sons of men to do a work unto my name, and those sons of men go with all their might and with all they have to perform that work, and cease not their diligence, and their enemies come upon them and hinder them from performing that work, behold, it behooveth me to require that work no more at the hands of those sons of men, but to accept of their offerings.

49) 1 Nephi (LDS 3:7) (RLDS 1:65) YHWH will provide a way for everyone to accomplish His commandments and that is not by removing, because removing them is making so you don’t have to do it NOT proving a way to do IT.

50 And the iniquity and transgression of my holy laws and commandments I will visit upon the heads of those who hindered my work, unto the third and fourth generation, so long as they repent not, and hate me, saith the Lord God.

50) This verse is promoting victim consciousness and not taking accountability for your own choices and completely ignoring 1 Nephi (LDS 3:7) (RLDS 1:65) see previous verse.

51 Therefore, for this cause have I accepted the offerings of those whom I commanded to build up a city and a house unto my name, in Jackson county, Missouri, and were hindered by their enemies, saith the Lord your God.

51) “Therefore” is word used to make connections between causes and effects. The “therefore” in this verse is connecting verses 49 & 50 talking about wickedness of others and then stating this causes absolution from keeping the commandments and accepting offerings. This does not make logical sense. Verses 49 – 51 contradict D&C (LDS 101, 103, 105) (RLDS 98, 100, 102) (1835 97, not present, not present) (1844 98, 101, 102).

53 And this I make an example unto you, for your consolation concerning all those who have been commanded to do a work and have been hindered by the hands of their enemies, and by oppression, saith the Lord your God.

53) see verse 49 and 1 Nephi (LDS 3:7) (RLDS 1:65).

55 And again, verily I say unto you, I command you again to build a house to my name, even in this place, that you may prove yourselves unto me that ye are faithful in all things whatsoever I command you, that I may bless you, and crown you with honor, immortality, and eternal life.

55) First of all every soul born to the family of Adam will receive immortality even if they don’t want it. Which goes against this verse because this verse claims you need to be righteous to receive immortality. To prove you are faithful in all things, actually requires you are faithful in all things and not just faithful in constructing a building.

56 And now I say unto you, as pertaining to my boarding house which I have commanded you to build for the boarding of strangers, let it be built unto my name, and let my name be named upon it, and let my servant Joseph and his house have place therein, from generation to generation.

56) No where in this supposed section does YHWH do anything to transition from one type of house to another. Joseph Smith was called by common consent to be the president of the church thus making his duties to the church and not the non-believers. With this is mind, it is not Joseph’s place to be with the strangers aka non-believes. It is the job of the traveling twelve to go to the strangers aka known believers. With regards to “from generation to generation” if you believe this section is a revelation from YHWH Elohim, wouldn’t than mean that your president of your church should be living with strangers aka non-believers instead of a penthouse surrounded by security guards.

57 For this anointing have I put upon his head, that his blessing shall also be put upon the head of his posterity after him.

57) Children do not inherit the righteousness of their parents, see Matthew 3:9.

58 And as I said unto Abraham concerning the kindreds of the earth, even so I say unto my servant Joseph: In thee and in thy seed shall the kindred of the earth be blessed.

58) See Matthew 3:9.

59 Therefore, let my servant Joseph and his seed after him have place in that house, from generation to generation, forever and ever, saith the Lord.

59) See verse 57.

60 And let the name of that house be called Nauvoo House; and let it be a delightful habitation for man, and a resting-place for the weary traveler, that he may contemplate the glory of Zion, and the glory of this, the cornerstone thereof;

60) If Joseph seed was to stay in the Nauvoo House, would that not go against supposed revelations that the members should go west to Utah? In addition shouldn’t the president in the center place which is Independence, Missouri and not the far edges in Nauvoo.

61 That he may receive also the counsel from those whom I have set to be as plants of renown, and as watchmen upon her walls.

61) Elijah did not need counsel from men to know when to stay and when to flee, he received it from YHWH Elohim Himself. Joseph Smith, as the modern day Elijah, had the same privilege and ability, there this verse is unnecessary and unfounded. And Joseph Smith did receive revelation of when to leave.

62 Behold, verily I say unto you, let my servant George Miller, and my servant Lyman Wight, and my servant John Snider, and my servant Peter Haws, organize themselves, and appoint one of them to be a president over their quorum for the purpose of building that house.

62) Peter Haws was a Freemason at this point, and other issues, and thus YHWH would have not called him one of His servants, unless of course you don’t believe that Elohim knows everything.

63 And they shall form a constitution, whereby they may receive stock for the building of that house.

63) This verse sounds more like a business deal than it does as an assignment from YHWH to gather free will offerings.

64 And they shall not receive less than fifty dollars for a share of stock in that house, and they shall be permitted to receive fifteen thousand dollars from any one man for stock in that house.

64) When YHWH commanded Moses to receive free will offerings for the tabernacle there were no stock or certificates of what people gave not to be used for control later as is done with stocks today and in Joseph Smith’s day. Instead of giving a free will offering, this language sounds more like buying ownership and control of YHWH’s house. Are we really buying control over YHWH’s house? No limit how much a free will offering can be in Torah. But for those who are worried about someone having to high percentage of stock and thus control over the build they would want to put limits on how much an individual can give.

65 But they shall not be permitted to receive over fifteen thousand dollars stock from any one man.

65) see last part of verse 64.

66 And they shall not be permitted to receive under fifty dollars for a share of stock from any one man in that house.

66) see notes for verse 64.

67 And they shall not be permitted to receive any man, as a stockholder in this house, except the same shall pay his stock into their hands at the time he receives stock;

67) see notes for verse 63.

68 And in proportion to the amount of stock he pays into their hands he shall receive stock in that house; but if he pays nothing into their hands he shall not receive any stock in that house.

68) see notes for verses 63 and 64.

69 And if any pay stock into their hands it shall be for stock in that house, for himself, and for his generation after him, from generation to generation, so long as he and his heirs shall hold that stock, and do not sell or convey the stock away out of their hands by their own free will and act, if you will do my will, saith the Lord your God.

69) This sounds like buying salvation for themselves and their prosperity which crosses the line of the Catholic false doctrine of indulgences.

70 And again, verily I say unto you, if my servant George Miller, and my servant Lyman Wight, and my servant John Snider, and my servant Peter Haws, receive any stock into their hands, in moneys, or in properties wherein they receive the real value of moneys, they shall not appropriate any portion of that stock to any other purpose, only in that house.

70) Part of this verse and others seem to be trying to connect people who were with Joseph Smith with people who were with Brigham Young. The fact that this supposed revelation has to state that payment for the stock in the house needs to go to the house is a cover for what was actually going on which was that Brigham Young and company were stealing. They were stealing to build their own houses and the Freemasonry temple.

71 And if they do appropriate any portion of that stock anywhere else, only in that house, without the consent of the stockholder, and do not repay four-fold for the stock which they appropriate anywhere else, only in that house, they shall be accursed, and shall be moved out of their place, saith the Lord God; for I, the Lord, am God, and cannot be mocked in any of these things.

71) This is a business contract not a revelation from YHWH Elohim, see verses 63 – 71.

72 Verily I say unto you, let my servant Joseph pay stock into their hands for the building of that house, as seemeth him good; but my servant Joseph cannot pay over fifteen thousand dollars stock in that house, nor under fifty dollars; neither can any other man, saith the Lord.

72) When Moses was commanded to get free will offerings for the tabernacle, Moses was not told who was to give or what they were to give. Moses was only told on who would work on it, because they were blessed by YHWH with understanding and skills to build it.

74 Therefore, I say unto you concerning my servant Vinson Knight, if he will do my will let him put stock into that house for himself, and for his generation after him, from generation to generation.

74) see verse 69.

75 And let him lift up his voice long and loud, in the midst of the people, to plead the cause of the poor and the needy; and let him not fail, neither let his heart faint; and I will accept of his offerings, for they shall not be unto me as the offerings of Cain, for he shall be mine, saith the Lord.

75) The occult does a little good in the sight of men, especially taking care of the poor and needy, to look good to others. This verse takes this practice and supposedly puts it in YHWH mouth. Being righteous is more than just pronouncing you are taking care of the poor and needy, and this verse only focus on that.

76 Let his family rejoice and turn away their hearts from affliction; for I have chosen him and anointed him, and he shall be honored in the midst of his house, for I will forgive all his sins, saith the Lord. Amen.

76) Vinson Knight family should forget about their afflictions because supposedly he was a good guy, this is NOT something YWH would say. YHWH succors those who seek after Him in their afflictions and does not tell them to think about them but not to focus on them and there is a difference. Heinously this verse suggests that Vinson Knight is forgiven of his sins because he bought stock is the house and made noise about taking care of the poor, which both of these are contrary to scriptures. This is suggesting we can buy salvation with money as opposed to “come buy milk and honey without price”.

77 Verily I say unto you, let my servant Hyrum put stock into that house as seemeth him good, for himself and his generation after him, from generation to generation.

77) see notes on verse 69.

78 Let my servant Isaac Galland put stock into that house; for I, the Lord, love him for the work he hath done, and will forgive all his sins; therefore, let him be remembered for an interest in that house from generation to generation.

78) This verse states that you can be forgiven of your sins by purchasing stock in this house by the using the connecting word “therefore” see notes from verse 76.

79 Let my servant Isaac Galland be appointed among you, and be ordained by my servant William Marks, and be blessed of him, to go with my servant Hyrum to accomplish the work that my servant Joseph shall point out to them, and they shall be greatly blessed.

79) This verse is word salad, it says nothing with lots of words.

80 Let my servant William Marks pay stock into that house, as seemeth him good, for himself and his generation, from generation to generation. 81 Let my servant Henry G. Sherwood pay stock into that house, as seemeth him good, for himself and his seed after him, from generation to generation. 82 Let my servant William Law pay stock into that house, for himself and his seed after him, from generation to generation.

80-82) see notes on verse 69.

84 And with my servant Almon Babbitt, there are many things with which I am not pleased; behold, he aspireth to establish his counsel instead of the counsel which I have ordained, even that of the Presidency of my Church; and he setteth up a golden calf for the worship of my people.

84) Almon Babbitt was disfellowshipped on 1840-07-23 and thus the problem was taken care of. It is not in YHWH’s character to bring this up out of nowhere six months later on 1841-01-19 when this supposed revelation was given through Joseph Smith from YHWH, see https://www.josephsmithpapers.org/person/almon-whiting-babbitt .

85 Let no man go from this place who has come here essaying to keep my commandments.

85) The wording of this supposed verse from YHWH does not leave room for the mission calls, which calls them to leave Zion to go to the world where the non-believers are, in addition D&C LDS 125 mentions multiple places not just one.

86 If they live here let them live unto me; and if they die let them die unto me; for they shall rest from all their labors here, and shall continue their works.

86) I don’t know if they are going to stop or continue their work, we’ve just simply confused. We have a felling that this is about proxy baptisms for the physically dead people, if that is the case they just need to stop.

87 Therefore, let my servant William put his trust in me, and cease to fear concerning his family, because of the sickness of the land. If ye love me, keep my commandments; and the sickness of the land shall redound to your glory.

87) Although in Deuteronomy 28 YHWH associates blessings of the land with obedience it is related to the obedience of the people not just one person namely a wicked and adulterous William Law.

89 If he will do my will let him from henceforth hearken to the counsel of my servant Joseph, and with his interest support the cause of the poor, and publish the new translation of my holy word unto the inhabitants of the earth.

89) If you believe this revelation is from YHWH, why didn’t William Law publish the JST / Inspired Version / New Translation? In addition why did Brigham Young try to destroy the JST / Inspired Version / New Translation, see The JST / Inspired Version and Only a Part? This verse does seem plausible that YHWH would tell a wealthy merchant to do.

90 And if he will do this I will bless him with a multiplicity of blessings, that he shall not be forsaken, nor his seed be found begging bread.

90) YHWH would not promise eternal life, which is being promising in this supposed revelation from YHWH with the phrase “not be forsaken”, if William Law kept this one commandment. Such a promise is given from YHWH with a lifetime of enduring to the end in keeping all of His commandments not just one, on top of history shows William Law was not motivated to publish the JST / Inspired Version / New Translation see notes for verse 89. One man’s righteousness does not guaranty that his prosperity will always have food.

91 And again, verily I say unto you, let my servant William be appointed, ordained, and anointed, as counselor unto my servant Joseph, in the room of my servant Hyrum, that my servant Hyrum may take the office of Priesthood and Patriarch, which was appointed unto him by his father, by blessing and also by right;

91) Counselors are selected by common consent of the members aka voting. In support of that Joseph Smith was given a counselor he didn’t want, but had to keep because it supposed to be done by common consent of the members aka voting. Not to mention these counselors were not and currently are not anointed with oil as this verse is stating needs to be done. This supposed revelation was given on 1841-01-19 and is claiming that Hyrum Smith was not currently the church Patriarch. Hyrum Smith was ordained to become the church Patriarch by his father in the summer of 1840 and became the church Patriarch upon his father’s death on 1840-09-14 see Chronology of Presiding Patriarchs (LDS Church).

92 That from henceforth he shall hold the keys of the patriarchal blessings upon the heads of all my people,

92) see notes from verse 91 regarding Hyrum Smith already being the church Patriarch thus already having the keys.

95 That he may act in concert also with my servant Joseph; and that he shall receive counsel from my servant Joseph, who shall show unto him the keys whereby he may ask and receive, and be crowned with the same blessing, and glory, and honor, and priesthood, and gifts of the priesthood, that once were put upon him that was my servant Oliver Cowdery;

95) In this verse keys are something that can be learned aka shown not something that is given by laying on of hands as taught in the LDS / Brighamite church and other restoration churches.

97 Let my servant William Law also receive the keys by which he may ask and receive blessings; let him be humble before me, and be without guile, and he shall receive of my Spirit, even the Comforter, which shall manifest unto him the truth of all things, and shall give him, in the very hour, what he shall say.

97) The key to receiving answers and blessings from ones prayers is keeping Torah, asking for the promises in YHWH’s words and really taking care of the poor, see 2 Chronicles 7:14, Alma (LDS 34:28) (RLDS 16:223-224), 1 Nephi (LDS 15:11) (RLDS 4:13), Mosiah (LDS 11:24-25) (RLDS 7:36), Mosiah (LDS 21:15) (RLDS 9:155-156), Proverbs 28:9.

98 And these signs shall follow him—he shall heal the sick, he shall cast out devils, and shall be delivered from those who would administer unto him deadly poison;

98) These signs follow those who believe and keep YHWH’s ancient and eternal Torah. Current LDS / Brighamite leaders teach that we should have enough faith NOT to be healed, which is contrary to this verse and the Hebrew scriptures, see Health.

99 And he shall be led in paths where the poisonous serpent cannot lay hold upon his heel, and he shall mount up in the imagination of his thoughts as upon eagles’ wings.

99) On the physical aspect of this verse goes against what happened to Paul who kept Torah, see Acts 28:3. (Paul entered the Nazarite vow with an animal sacrifice for himself, and paid for others, as specified in Torah in Act 21.) On the spiritual aspect of this verse, Satan loses power over us after we have come under YHWH’s covering and have become sanctified by keeping Torah ourselves. Men’s imaginations are based upon the desires of ones hearts and according to the Hebrew scriptures men’s heart is evil continually, see Jeremiah 17:9, Proverbs 21:2, Mark 7:21, Matthew 15:19.

100 And what if I will that he should raise the dead, let him not withhold his voice.

100) William Law never raised anyone from the dead. With the health problems and death rates in that day, there was ample opportunity for William Law to raise someone from the dead.

102 Behold, I say unto you, I have a mission in store for my servant William, and my servant Hyrum, and for them alone; and let my servant Joseph tarry at home, for he is needed. The remainder I will show unto you hereafter. Even so. Amen.

102) With the amen at the end of this verse at a minimum this shows this section is a spliced together.

107 Let him assist my servant Joseph, and also let my servant William Law assist my servant Joseph, in making a solemn proclamation unto the kings of the earth, even as I have before said unto you.

107) see notes for verses 2-12 regarding the proclamation to the kings of the world.

110) The end of this verse is another example of why this would be a spliced section.

111 And again, verily I say unto you, let my servant Amos Davies pay stock into the hands of those whom I have appointed to build a house for boarding, even the Nauvoo House. 112 This let him do if he will have an interest; and let him hearken unto the counsel of my servant Joseph, and labor with his own hands that he may obtain the confidence of men.

111-112) see notes for verses 63-82.

114 Let him therefore abase himself that he may be exalted. Even so. Amen.

114) With the amen at the end of this verse another example of a spliced section.

117 And pay stock also into the hands of the quorum of the Nauvoo House, for himself and for his generation after him, from generation to generation;

117) see notes for verses 63-82.

118 And hearken unto the counsel of my servants Joseph, and Hyrum, and William Law, and unto the authorities which I have called to lay the foundation of Zion; and it shall be well with him forever and ever. Even so. Amen.

118) With the amen at the end of this verse another example of a spliced section.

120 For that which is more or less than this cometh of evil, and shall be attended with cursings and not blessings, saith the Lord your God. Even so. Amen.

120) With the amen at the end of this verse another example of a spliced section.

121 And again, verily I say unto you, let the quorum of the Nauvoo House have a just recompense of wages for all their labors which they do in building the Nauvoo House; and let their wages be as shall be agreed among themselves, as pertaining to the price thereof.

121) The stock holders should be the ones deciding how much the workers are paid not the workers themselves. Workers deciding their own pay is part of socialism. In addition when Joseph Smith and Sidney Rigdon ask for wages for being in the first presidency and spending all their time serving the church, their wages was decided by a committee which they were not part of and later was rescinded by the voice of the church, see D&C (LDS 43:13) (RLDS 43) (1833 45) (1835 14) (1844 14); HC 3:25, 26-27, 31-32; Dan Vogel, Charisma Under Pressure, pages 705-706.

122 And let every man who pays stock bear his proportion of their wages, if it must needs be, for their support, saith the Lord; otherwise, their labors shall be accounted unto them for stock in that house. Even so. Amen.

122) In socialism it is the workers who get to pay the stock holders how much they are worth, and they have to pay it no matter what, which is exactly what is going on in this verse. If the stock holders are not able to pay the demanded wages, see verse 121, they get to have the stock holders stock.

123 Verily I say unto you, I now give unto you the officers belonging to my Priesthood, that ye may hold the keys thereof, even the Priesthood which is after the order of Melchizedek, which is after the order of mine Only Begotten Son.

123) Officers in the church are to be done by common consent aka by voting, see D&C (LDS 20:63-66) (RLDS 17) (1833 24) (1835 2) (1844 2); D&C (LDS 26:2) (RLDS 25) (1833 27) (1835 49) (1844); D&C (LDS 28:10,13) (RLDS 27) (1833 30) (1835 51) (1844 51); D&C (LDS 38:34) (RLDS 28) (1833 40) (1835 12) (1844 12); D&C (LDS 41:9) (RLDS 41) (1833 43) (1835 61) (1844 41); D&C (LDS 51:12) (RLDS 51) (1833 23) (1844 23); D&C (LDS 102) (RLDS 99) (1835 5) (1844 5) D&C (LDS 107:22) (RLDS 104) (1835 3) (1844 3); D&C (LDS 124:144) (RLDS 107) (1844 103). The traveling twelve are not to have power in the church, see D&C (LDS 107:23,33-36,38) (RLDS 104) (1835 3) (1844 3); D&C (LDS 112:27) (RLDS 105) (1844 104); D&C (LDS 124:129) (RLDS 107) (1844 103); Millenial Star v15 p 261; Joseph Smith, Kirtland Council Minute Book, pg 112.

124 First, I give unto you Hyrum Smith to be a patriarch unto you, to hold the sealing blessings of my church, even the Holy Spirit of promise, whereby ye are sealed up unto the day of redemption, that ye may not fall notwithstanding the hour of temptation that may come upon you.

124) Hyrum Smith was already the church patriarch see notes for verse 91 and 92. Bing “sealed up unto the day of redemption” is not anything any mortal man can do and Yeshua employs no one with such a duty other than Himself, see 2 Nephi (LDS 9:41) (RLDS 6:79-82).

125 I give unto you my servant Joseph to be a presiding elder over all my church, to be a translator, a revelator, a seer, and prophet.

125) All positions in the church are done by common consent otherwise known as voting and voice of the church, see first portion of notes for verse 123. The gifts of the Holy Spirit are gifts from YHWH Elohim and not gifted by people or by voting.

126 I give unto him for counselors my servant Sidney Rigdon and my servant William Law, that these may constitute a quorum and First Presidency, to receive the oracles for the whole church.

126) All positions in the church are done by common consent otherwise known as voting and voice of the church, see first portion of notes for verse 123. D&C (LDS 43:2-3) (RLDS 43) (1833 45) (1835 14) (1844 14) states that ONLY Joseph Smith is to receive revelations / oracles and commandments for the church and that does NOT include other members of the first presidency.

27 And every decision made by either of these quorums must be by the unanimous voice of the same; that is, every member in each quorum must be agreed to its decisions, in order to make their decisions of the same power or validity one with the other—

127) According to D&C (LDS 107:27) (RLDS 104) (1833 3) (1844 3) decisions, such as who is president of the quorum, is done by the unanimous voice of the quorum. Another example of this is in Acts 1:23-26.

128 Which Twelve hold the keys to open up the authority of my kingdom upon the four corners of the earth, and after that to send my word to every creature.

128) This verse is an example how the traveling twelve duties is only to preside over the missionary duties of the church which is not being practiced, also see D&C (LDS 107:23,33-36,38) (RLDS 104) (1835 3) (1844 3); D&C (LDS 112:27) (RLDS 105) (1844 104); Millenial Star v15 p 261; Joseph Smith, Kirtland Council Minute Book, pg 112.

129 They are Heber C. Kimball, Parley P. Pratt, Orson Pratt, Orson Hyde, William Smith, John Taylor, John E. Page, Wilford Woodruff, Willard Richards, George A. Smith;

129) The three witnesses already called the traveling twelve apostles.

130 David Patten I have taken unto myself; behold, his priesthood no man taketh from him; but, verily I say unto you, another may be appointed unto the same calling.

130) David Patten was a very wicked man, one of Brigham Young’s boys, a Danite.

132 Namely, Samuel Bent, Henry G. Sherwood, George W. Harris, Charles C. Rich, Thomas Grover, Newel Knight, David Dort, Dunbar Wilson—Seymour Brunson I have taken unto myself; no man taketh his priesthood, but another may be appointed unto the same priesthood in his stead; and verily I say unto you, let my servant Aaron Johnson be ordained unto this calling in his stead—David Fullmer, Alpheus Cutler, William Huntington. 133 And again, I give unto you Don C. Smith to be a president over a quorum of high priests;

132-133) Members, who have required priesthood, of a counsel are chosen by the voice of the people or the quorum see first half of notes for verse 123.

134 Which ordinance is instituted for the purpose of qualifying those who shall be appointed standing presidents or servants over different stakes scattered abroad;

134) Qualifications are to be satisfied before someone is put into an office especially a president. Isaiah was qualified before YHWH extended the calling and Isaiah accepted it see Isaiah 6:5-12. Same thing happened with Moses see Exodus 3:11-18.

135 And they may travel also if they choose, but rather be ordained for standing presidents; this is the office of their calling, saith the Lord your God.

135) Supposedly YHWH is telling them that they can do something contrary to their calling, which is say YHWH turns to the left and the right.

136 I give unto him Amasa Lyman and Noah Packard for counselors, that they may preside over the quorum of high priests of my church, saith the Lord. 137 And again, I say unto you, I give unto you John A. Hicks, Samuel Williams, and Jesse Baker, which priesthood is to preside over the quorum of elders, which quorum is instituted for standing ministers; nevertheless they may travel, yet they are ordained to be standing ministers to my church, saith the Lord. 138 And again, I give unto you Joseph Young, Josiah Butterfield, Daniel Miles, Henry Herriman, Zera Pulsipher, Levi Hancock, James Foster, to preside over the quorum of seventies;

136-138) Members, who have required priesthood, of a counsel are chosen by the voice of the people or quorum see first half of notes for verse 123.

139 Which quorum is instituted for traveling elders to bear record of my name in all the world, wherever the traveling high council, mine apostles, shall send them to prepare a way before my face.

139) This verse is showing that the quorum of the traveling seventy is to help the quorum of the traveling twelve in only officiating over the missionary work and organizing the church where it has not already been organized. After a stake has been organized, they are to take care of themselves after that see notes for verse 123.

140 The difference between this quorum and the quorum of elders is that one is to travel continually, and the other is to preside over the churches from time to time; the one has the responsibility of presiding from time to time, and the other has no responsibility of presiding, saith the Lord your God.

140) This is one of the few verses that we believe is actually from YHWH. This verse is teaching that the quorum of the seventy are traveling missionaries and have no authority over the organized branches of the church. The quorum of the elders are the ones who have authority in the organized branches of the church.

141 And again, I say unto you, I give unto you Vinson Knight, Samuel H. Smith, and Shadrach Roundy, if he will receive it, to preside over the bishopric; a knowledge of said bishopric is given unto you in the book of Doctrine and Covenants.

141) Members, who have required priesthood, of a counsel are chosen by the voice of the people or quorum see first half of notes for verse 123. In addition to the problems with contradicting common consent / voice of the people / voting there is a grammatical error where the singular pronoun “he” is being applied to three different people. This error is in the manuscript for this section in the Joseph Smith Papers, Revelation, 19 January 1841 [D&C 124]. The second instance of “from time to time”, attached to the quorum of the traveling seventy, was removed making it more clear that they have no authority in the organized branches of the church, see Revelation, 19 January 1841 [D&C 124] on Joseph Smith Papers.

142 And again, I say unto you, Samuel Rolfe and his counselors for priests, and the president of the teachers and his counselors, and also the president of the deacons and his counselors, and also the president of the stake and his counselors.

142) Regarding Samuel Rolfe and his counselors, this is bad English and the governing body of a quorum is voted on by the members of the quorum see notes for verse 123. The last past of this verse has gone very general which is not something YHWH Elohim would do. It is something someone would do who holds these quorums or presidency in diminished importance. This include a diminished importance of the stake president which interesting enough Brigham Young hated the stake president of Nauvoo who was William Marks. When William Marks supported Sidney Rigdon’s claim to the defunct restoration, Brigham Young went after William Marks to destroy his credibility. This matters because we believe this section was spliced, rewritten, and added to after Joseph Smith was murdered, and Brigham Young admits to changing history see Joseph Smith’s Last Dream.

144 And a commandment I give unto you, that you should fill all these offices and approve of those names which I have mentioned, or else disapprove of them at my general conference;

144) This verse admits offices and presidencies are by the voice of the members also known as common consent which is done by voting see note for verse 123.
