Summary

D&C (LDS 88:15)(RLDS 85) statement about the soul of man causes a lot of confusion. My resistance to the common understanding was based on how the Book of Mormon uses the words soul and spirit interchangeably dealing with the resurrection. Discussion helps people see things in a new light, not telling someone that they are an idiot. Clones in Star Wars and the Matrix are the 144,000. Ben helped me learn that debate is a sin. Scriptures show that Torah is still valid. Torah is about how YHWH wants us to love. Iron sharpens iron. Repetition helps you to remember. It takes time to let go of false traditions. Context around D&C (LDS 88:15)(RLDS 85) will help us understand what soul means in this instance. The reason the manna is in a pot is because it was needed that Yeshua came down in the flesh. Yeshua had Torah written on His heart before He came down, I’m still working on getting Torah fully written on my heart. Both Torah and the Holy Spirit are to be written on the heart because they are same thing. Joseph Smith equates the mind and will to the Holy Spirit in Lectures on Faith 5. In Abraham 3:22-23 the words intelligence, soul and spirit are used interchangeably. Redemption is at least justification. Quickening is sanctification. Scriptures never state read them, they say search them. It is the sanctified that will inherit the earth. 1828 Webster’s Dictionary helps a lot with modern scriptures. Bow is symbolic of Torah. One definition of soul is essence. Charity means keeping Torah, which includes helping the poor. The purpose of life is to come under Yeshua’s cover, to keep His Torah and help others to do the same. Galatians 5 and Moroni 7 are list of Torah commandments. Yeshua retaught to love Elohim and your neighbors and yourself as it was taught in the 5 books of Moses. We are to take care of the widows and the fatherless. Widows are the church, and the fatherless are the non-believers. When you have a verse that seems to contradict the rest of the scriptures you should reconcile it because new revelation does not contradict old revelation. “Sandy hair” from Joseph Smith’s quote is dealing with those who have invalid authority and only take some of Yeshua’s word instead of it all. We are to live by every word of Yah. The book of Deuteronomy is a second telling. I believe Joseph Smith was on a period of using the word soul as essence, and 2 Nephi (LDS 31:3)(RLDS 13:4-5) brings out how YHWH talks to people in their language and understanding. Alma (LDS 40:11,15,18)(RLDS 19:42-43,48-49,52) dealing with the resurrection shows that the words soul and spirit are used interchangeably, even indicating that with the word ‘or’. The soul and the physical body are the essence of man. The technical term for our soul receiving a body is ‘tabernacled’. Everyone of the family of Adam will be resurrected. Thinking about how the seraphim are Adam & the Mighty and Strong One more makes more sense because to come to Yeshua, you go through stages that those two servants are responsible for in their callings. Yeshua is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. We need to get into the head that the revelation came through to understand what was meant. Find a good teacher who will help you learn things faster. We all have used a word we just came across more often than other times.

00:00:02 Okay. So, I Ben and I thought it would
00:00:05 be a good idea to go over um LDS DNC LDS
00:00:11 8815
00:00:13 uh which is RLDS
00:00:16 uh 85. I don’t know the verse number
00:00:18 sorry u but after you hear the verse and
00:00:22 see it you can find it. um in that
00:00:27 it causes a lot of controversy. Okay. Um
00:00:33 >> are very willing to misunderstand it.
00:00:36 >> Yes. Now I I I can see
00:00:41 it’s easy one to misunderstand. Okay.
00:00:44 >> Mhm.
00:00:45 >> I do want to give them some benefit of
00:00:47 the doubt. It’s an easy one.
00:00:48 >> Yeah. My resistance from the
00:00:51 misunderstanding has always been the
00:00:53 Book of Mormon and how it uses spirit
00:00:57 and soul interchangeably dealing with
00:01:00 the resurrection with the physical body.
00:01:02 Okay? And we can we’ll probably look
00:01:03 over some verses on that. And so, um,
00:01:10 it took a while to figure this one out.
00:01:12 And in addition, I do need to thank Ben
00:01:15 some in pushing back on me at times to
00:01:19 help get me to think more to actually
00:01:23 come up the real answer. Right.
00:01:26 >> Yeah.
00:01:27 >> Um because I had something before that
00:01:31 actually I don’t remember it is now so
00:01:33 it doesn’t matter.
00:01:34 >> Yeah. And so, well, and basically what I
00:01:38 kept saying was, um, just not buying it.
00:01:42 >> Yeah. Something along those lines. I
00:01:44 think there was a little more than that,
00:01:45 but uh
00:01:46 >> yeah,
00:01:47 >> but I I will admit
00:01:50 um I I do tend to, as everybody does,
00:01:55 listen to those who
00:01:57 are a little more on the same page than
00:02:00 I am and willing to work with me and not
00:02:03 just tell me I’m an idiot. Okay. Um
00:02:06 well, I mean, that’s out there. Um
00:02:09 >> Yeah. Yeah. I I I was I I was just
00:02:12 chuckling because something about that
00:02:14 touched a funny bone.
00:02:16 >> Oh, okay.
00:02:18 >> Did you hit your elbow somewhere or
00:02:20 >> Yeah, I must have.
00:02:22 That happened.
00:02:23 >> Um
00:02:26 if you want to change people’s thought
00:02:30 patterns and opinions, you work with
00:02:32 them
00:02:34 and show them
00:02:37 um data. I I’m I’m from a the software
00:02:40 engineer background and so I’m in data
00:02:43 but or I I have noticed that people
00:02:45 instead of saying the proof now they say
00:02:47 the receipts I think that’s somewhat new
00:02:50 but it’s the same idea data proof
00:02:52 receipts right whatever your background
00:02:55 has you more clone prone sorry to say
00:02:59 yeah those words are clones right from
00:03:01 Star Wars
00:03:04 clone um
00:03:06 >> oh boy
00:03:07 >> yeah Yeah. Anyways, uh speaking of
00:03:10 which, I’ll just say the clones are the
00:03:12 144,000.
00:03:14 >> Yes.
00:03:15 >> And another one in the Matrix are the
00:03:17 clones of um
00:03:19 Mr. Smith. Those also the 144,000 cuz
00:03:23 they’re clones of the Strong. But
00:03:26 anyways, sorry, sidetrack. I I did not
00:03:29 mean to say clone. I um but uh back to
00:03:34 the point. when you work with people
00:03:37 having a discussion
00:03:40 uh rather than a debate. In fact, this
00:03:42 is something I I give credit to Ben
00:03:45 showing me um because I I mean we all
00:03:49 have different focuses, right? It it’s
00:03:51 hard
00:03:53 to know everything, but Ben
00:03:57 um helped me uh learn that debate is
00:04:02 actually a sin.
00:04:04 So I mean there’s the verses, right? So
00:04:08 IVC is the inspired version or the JST
00:04:12 from uh center place. I have the C just
00:04:15 in case if different ones have something
00:04:17 different. Okay. So but anyways, minor
00:04:19 point. Um but
00:04:22 uh in these verses it does
00:04:25 not all of them but some of them do list
00:04:29 debates as sin like here being filled
00:04:31 with unrighteousness, fornication. Uh,
00:04:34 looking at the Romans one, covetousness,
00:04:36 maleness, full of envy, murder,
00:04:40 there’s that dword,
00:04:42 >> debate.
00:04:43 >> Yeah. That’s so popular for apologists
00:04:46 and YouTube things, right?
00:04:49 >> Yeah. Uh, the the point is is that we’re
00:04:52 not supposed to be debating so much as
00:04:55 we’re supposed to be having discussions
00:04:59 regarding the truths of the gospel.
00:05:02 >> Yes. Now I I will I debate is Greek,
00:05:06 discussion’s Hebrew.
00:05:10 >> I I I don’t see debate in the
00:05:13 scriptures. I see discussions.
00:05:15 >> Yeah.
00:05:17 >> Um
00:05:18 and that’s why I try to have those. They
00:05:22 don’t always go well. I do try. I I I
00:05:26 think the more the biggest problem is I
00:05:30 I believe Torah is still valid and a lot
00:05:32 of people don’t like that. Okay. So,
00:05:35 >> um yeah, it’s uh
00:05:38 I do there’s lot you can have lots of
00:05:42 reasons for not believing the Torah is
00:05:44 valid, but the scriptures aren’t one of
00:05:45 them.
00:05:47 >> Uh yeah. So, just uh sidetrack on that
00:05:50 just briefly.
00:05:52 Um, I have various pages.
00:05:58 Uh, show is still valid. I need to do
00:06:01 more. I have some partials that need to
00:06:03 get finished. I I have problems with um
00:06:08 shiny object. So, Torah in the Book of
00:06:10 Mormon after Yeshua’s death. And when I
00:06:13 put this in Word,
00:06:15 uh, I have 54 pages worth of references
00:06:19 here. Mhm.
00:06:21 >> Now, um, a group did help me with this,
00:06:24 including Ben. I had a starting point
00:06:26 and then we added more.
00:06:28 >> Yeah.
00:06:29 >> Um, then this one’s a work in progress.
00:06:33 Here it is in the DNC.
00:06:36 It has all 10
00:06:38 divisions of Torah.
00:06:42 >> And so does Torah in the millennium. It
00:06:44 has all 10 divisions. Okay. Y
00:06:47 >> and everything
00:06:48 is a subcomandment of those 10, which is
00:06:51 a sub of the two great commandments.
00:06:54 Love Yahweh and then love your neighbor
00:06:56 as yourself, which is all love. It’s
00:06:59 just how Yahweh wants us to love. Okay.
00:07:01 >> Mhm.
00:07:02 >> Um Torah is still valid. So anyways,
00:07:05 we’re not going to sidetrack on that,
00:07:07 but
00:07:07 >> yeah. So let’s get So with that in mind,
00:07:10 we uh with that in mind with back to u
00:07:14 the subject. Oh, I I will say um I am
00:07:19 glad that Ben did some push back. Okay.
00:07:22 Um because I think because of Ben’s push
00:07:25 back, I kept looking for a better,
00:07:28 deeper, actual correct answer. And this
00:07:31 goes along with how iron sharpens iron.
00:07:34 Okay.
00:07:36 Um find people you can do that with.
00:07:40 Now, uh, it can be hard doing with
00:07:42 people just on online because you just
00:07:46 see things so differently, so you’re
00:07:48 always going back and forth on
00:07:51 everything.
00:07:53 >> Yeah.
00:07:53 >> Um, Ben and I don’t agree on everything,
00:07:56 but we’re more similar than not,
00:07:59 probably. Um
00:08:02 but um find someone
00:08:05 that you trust that will push back on
00:08:08 you to help you
00:08:11 have better understandings and see if
00:08:15 how they’re challenging it. Do you think
00:08:17 it’s valid? Right. So anyway,
00:08:19 >> oh yeah,
00:08:21 whenever somebody challenges you, you
00:08:23 always have to you always have to
00:08:25 measure whether that challenge is a
00:08:26 valid challenge.
00:08:29 >> Yeah. And also
00:08:32 this is not a debate format in learning
00:08:34 Yahweh’s ways.
00:08:36 >> Mhm.
00:08:37 >> Um
00:08:39 you may not realize it at first. Think
00:08:41 about it after you guys talk or discuss,
00:08:44 right?
00:08:45 >> Yeah.
00:08:45 >> Uh because sometimes it’s hard in the
00:08:49 heat of the moment.
00:08:52 Um, take time after
00:08:55 >> especially because if you have somebody
00:08:58 who can push back on your ideas, you’re
00:09:01 probably both pretty intelligent people
00:09:03 and you’re probably both pretty proud of
00:09:05 your ideas.
00:09:07 >> Yeah.
00:09:09 >> And so in the moment you can get heated.
00:09:12 >> Yeah. Yes. Uh yes. And um
00:09:17 I mean some some good a good audio book
00:09:20 is uh how to win friends and influence
00:09:22 people and then there’s a digital
00:09:23 version of it. I can’t remember which
00:09:26 one, but they talk about the two
00:09:29 I can’t remember names, but two really
00:09:31 famous, really good basketball players
00:09:35 who were rivals with each other. But
00:09:38 when when one retired,
00:09:42 he thanked the other one because it
00:09:44 helped him improve his game.
00:09:47 >> Sorry, I don’t remember names. Um I I’m
00:09:50 not very good at famous people.
00:09:51 >> Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain. Uh,
00:09:54 that does sound familiar. Um, uh, Ben’s
00:09:57 a lot better at history than I am.
00:10:00 >> So, I I’m also I’m also a sports nut.
00:10:02 So,
00:10:03 >> uh, I I like to play sports, not watch
00:10:06 sports myself. But anyways, that’s
00:10:08 another
00:10:08 >> Well, my whole thing is once again
00:10:11 playing into that history thing. You
00:10:14 want to if you’re if you’re a history
00:10:16 nut also like I am, you like seeing the
00:10:20 history play out. Yeah.
00:10:22 >> Uh especially in the things that you
00:10:25 love.
00:10:26 >> But the point is what he said goes along
00:10:30 with iron sharpening iron.
00:10:32 >> Absolutely.
00:10:33 >> Absolutely.
00:10:34 >> He he said he owed I don’t remember the
00:10:36 exact quote but something a good portion
00:10:38 of his career to him or how he became a
00:10:41 good basketball player to him because of
00:10:44 the competition or the the iron
00:10:46 sharpening iron. Okay.
00:10:48 >> Yep. having to uh the they’re learning
00:10:51 they’re having to learn how to compete
00:10:54 with one another. The great always uh
00:10:57 the great of anything always
00:11:02 uh make each other better.
00:11:04 >> Yes. Now also um
00:11:08 be patient with yourself. I I do
00:11:10 remember um the last time we looked at
00:11:13 this
00:11:17 um
00:11:20 I then looked at my um my notes in my uh
00:11:26 journal uh DNC from the ELAS church,
00:11:30 which just FYI, I know it’s DNC85
00:11:32 because I wrote it here. I have a
00:11:34 program that does it and I got it from
00:11:36 Wikipedia. Anyways, um but I was a
00:11:40 little
00:11:44 disappointed with myself or myiffed. I
00:11:46 think that’s the right word. Um Ben will
00:11:50 tell me if I use the word right.
00:11:52 >> Oh yeah.
00:11:53 >> Um because I figured it out and then I
00:11:56 forgot.
00:11:57 >> Yeah.
00:11:58 >> I don’t know if he remembers that. Um
00:12:00 >> I Yeah, that Yeah. Um yeah, I do
00:12:04 remember I do remember that vaguely.
00:12:07 So I this is partly why there’s it’s
00:12:10 good to have repetition
00:12:13 because it takes time to let to
00:12:16 completely let go of the false
00:12:17 traditions to put the truth in. And
00:12:20 here’s an example just for me. Okay?
00:12:24 I’m calling myself out here. I’m still
00:12:27 learning and figuring things out. Okay?
00:12:29 But that’s fine.
00:12:30 >> Yeah.
00:12:31 >> That’s life. I I’m I’m not Yeshua.
00:12:36 I am working on becoming like him.
00:12:39 Uh I’m not there yet, but I I am
00:12:43 continuing to work on it, okay? But um
00:12:49 don’t be too hard on yourself, okay? Is
00:12:51 mainly what I’m trying to bring out. It
00:12:53 takes time. Even after you figure it
00:12:56 out, you might forget and then have to
00:12:57 go refigure it out again as I did,
00:13:01 right?
00:13:02 >> Yeah. It’s just sometimes things from
00:13:05 the past get so ingrained in you. Okay.
00:13:09 Fact, here’s another one. I remember
00:13:11 drinking wine, which the word of wisdom
00:13:13 actually says to do, but because of the
00:13:15 false traditions.
00:13:17 You think it’s not even while I was
00:13:19 drinking wine,
00:13:22 it took me a while to drink coffee. I
00:13:24 mean, I don’t drink it very often. I’m a
00:13:26 I’m a social coffee drinker. I I won’t
00:13:28 drink it on my own, but I’ve gotten used
00:13:30 to it. It’s nice. Um, but it’s funny. I
00:13:33 did one that most people would consider
00:13:35 worse.
00:13:37 I could do one that was less.
00:13:40 >> Well, the the other interesting thing
00:13:43 Yeah. Interestingly enough about coffee.
00:13:46 Um,
00:13:49 I love coffee. Unfortunately,
00:13:54 due to the nature of creamers these
00:13:56 days, Poppy doesn’t love me. Well, I I
00:14:00 remember one time I visited you for a
00:14:01 while, like a week period. I I and I
00:14:04 used your creer for my tea. Holy
00:14:08 mackerel, those things are loaded with
00:14:09 sugar.
00:14:10 >> Yeah.
00:14:12 >> Uh I actually did not like it
00:14:15 >> cuz it was so loaded with sugar.
00:14:17 >> Yeah.
00:14:18 >> Anyways, uh I’m not going to get into
00:14:20 this, but um I’ll say this. Joseph Smith
00:14:24 drank coffee. Bergam Young commanded the
00:14:26 saints to bring coffee over in the uh
00:14:28 pioneer truck. Wood Rudruff after they
00:14:32 enforced their false version of Word of
00:14:35 Wisdom would still drink coffee to fall
00:14:38 asleep along with whiskey. So he
00:14:40 although he’s having the members do one
00:14:42 thing, he was doing something different.
00:14:44 But anyways, I have quotes in my OneNote
00:14:46 and all that. I probably should put them
00:14:48 on my blog, but
00:14:49 >> which by the way is very um reminiscent
00:14:53 of the occult.
00:14:55 >> Yes, it is. Um which
00:14:58 the Eldish Church has a lot of. But
00:15:00 anyways, uh that’s another subject and
00:15:02 we’re not going to go there.
00:15:04 >> Okay. So, with that little random intro,
00:15:08 well, an intro that kind of went all
00:15:09 over the place,
00:15:11 let’s go look at TC88 LDS.
00:15:16 Um, we’re going to do some verses
00:15:18 before. Um, actually, so most of the
00:15:21 time,
00:15:22 so I do believe you got to take me with
00:15:25 a grain of salt. Okay. Though most of
00:15:29 his stuff summaries are are accurate.
00:15:32 There are ones I believe that are not.
00:15:35 His verse split ups are pretty good. So,
00:15:38 we’re going to start with 14. I mean, he
00:15:40 says 16, but we’re going to go I think
00:15:42 it was 17 because we just read a little
00:15:45 bit previous.
00:15:47 >> Uh because I think 17 brings out a
00:15:50 little more that’s important. Um
00:15:52 >> yeah. Yeah, it’s through 17. 14 through
00:15:54 17.
00:15:55 >> Yeah. I I mean the main one is 15,
00:15:58 right? But it’s good to get some context
00:16:01 here. Okay. And I actually do believe
00:16:05 the context of 14 through1 17 helps us
00:16:09 understand the word soul which we will
00:16:12 look into using the 1828 dictionary.
00:16:15 Um and I have a theory
00:16:19 you guys can accept it or not. It’s up
00:16:20 to you. Um why the word soul is used
00:16:24 here instead of essence. Oh well I’m
00:16:27 giving a little too much away already.
00:16:29 Anyway, it’s going to be in the title.
00:16:31 It’s already going to be given away. So,
00:16:34 anyways,
00:16:36 >> um Ben, you want to read 14?
00:16:39 >> All right. So, let’s see here. Now,
00:16:42 verily I say unto you that through the
00:16:46 redemption which is made for you, that
00:16:50 through the redemption which is made for
00:16:51 you is brought to pass the resurrection
00:16:53 from the dead.
00:16:54 >> Okay. Okay. Okay. So
00:16:57 I know some terms have multiple
00:16:59 meanings. I I do not believe
00:17:02 resurrection has multiple meanings as in
00:17:04 this is the res the reuniting of what
00:17:08 I’ll call the soul because it has um
00:17:11 other than here
00:17:14 uh generally one meaning in the
00:17:15 scriptures right other than right here
00:17:18 um this is the only one that I know of
00:17:19 that has a different meaning but the
00:17:21 soul and the physical body coming back
00:17:24 together to never be separated again
00:17:28 right Yes.
00:17:30 >> Yeah. So, this is bringing out how the
00:17:31 resurrection is needed. In fact, um
00:17:36 I forgot to go over this inside the
00:17:39 tabernacle recording that I did
00:17:40 recently. I do believe there’s a reason
00:17:44 why mana is in a pot.
00:17:47 >> Yes.
00:17:48 >> Because it’s the phys the pot is the
00:17:50 physical body. Okay. Mhm.
00:17:53 >> And it was needed for Yeshua to come
00:17:57 down in the flesh.
00:18:02 >> That’s which is why the mana in which is
00:18:05 Yeshua coming down from heaven being
00:18:08 tabernacled aka the pot. Yes.
00:18:12 is needed because he had to show it
00:18:16 while he figured it out again as we are
00:18:19 supposed to figure it out again with
00:18:21 him. Okay.
00:18:22 >> Yeah.
00:18:24 Um the difference with him, he had it
00:18:26 already written on his heart completely
00:18:28 before he came down, which made it so he
00:18:30 never broke it,
00:18:33 even though he was still growing grace
00:18:36 from grace or gaining wisdom. Where we,
00:18:40 at least me, I don’t know about you,
00:18:45 I’m getting it fully written on my heart
00:18:47 still.
00:18:48 >> Yeah. Torah. Torah
00:18:52 was not I would I will I will say that
00:18:56 Torah was not written on my heart
00:19:00 um at all until recently.
00:19:03 Well, so on this I just um there’s not
00:19:08 too much of a sidetrack. I
00:19:11 hold on. Uh, I will show something that
00:19:14 I’m working on because it does relate to
00:19:17 this. Um,
00:19:20 let me get it ready.
00:19:27 This takes a little longer because it’s
00:19:28 uh not done,
00:19:32 but I’m working on a page that I’m
00:19:34 titling Torah is the Holy Spirit.
00:19:38 Um, and I have a little bit in the heart
00:19:41 section.
00:19:43 Um, I I I need to add more. It’s a work
00:19:47 in progress. Okay.
00:19:50 >> Um,
00:19:53 so,
00:19:54 uh, the Holy Spirit, Holy Ghost is
00:19:57 written on the heart. So, here’s some,
00:19:58 uh, verses from the Book of Mormon and
00:20:00 the DNC on that. There’s lots for how
00:20:02 the law aka Torah is written is supposed
00:20:06 to be written on our hearts in the Old
00:20:08 Testament. So this is showing how the
00:20:11 holy behavior
00:20:14 is teaching us how to be holy has Yahweh
00:20:16 is holy
00:20:18 which is Yeshua.
00:20:21 Spirit means behavior.
00:20:25 It’s even in the um sacrament prayers.
00:20:28 Anyways, I’ll just leave it at that. But
00:20:31 the Holy Spirit and the hol which is the
00:20:33 Holy Ghost is to be written on our
00:20:34 hearts just like the law is. Okay. It’s
00:20:36 the same thing.
00:20:37 >> I I also think it something else that
00:20:40 that kind of backs that idea up is uh
00:20:44 Joseph Smith in the uh lectures on faith
00:20:48 defines the Holy Spirit as uh
00:20:51 >> the will and the mind
00:20:52 >> mind and the mind and will of uh ya. And
00:20:58 what is the mind? The mind is the
00:20:59 directing factor.
00:21:02 The will is the and the will is the
00:21:05 drive.
00:21:07 And so therefore
00:21:09 all both of these things actually point
00:21:12 towards action or behavior.
00:21:14 >> Yeah. Yeah. So uh just the I don’t know
00:21:18 if this is too small but it’s lectures
00:21:20 on faith and I have those quoted here.
00:21:23 So there’s two for the will and there’s
00:21:26 one, two, three, four, five for the
00:21:30 mind.
00:21:31 >> Mhm.
00:21:32 >> At least that I found. But I mean I did
00:21:34 control F. So
00:21:37 anyways, uh control F is a pretty good
00:21:39 tool.
00:21:41 >> So yeah. So that’s the so that’s the
00:21:44 that’s the whole thing is that the mind
00:21:48 is the command the mind is the command
00:21:50 center in the Hebrew thought. And uh the
00:21:54 heart is the thought center and the will
00:21:58 is
00:22:00 the will is where the two meet.
00:22:04 So I haven’t studied. So the New
00:22:07 Testament doesn’t have the word will
00:22:08 much. I wonder if it’s the soul.
00:22:12 >> Yeah.
00:22:12 >> But anyways, I’m speculating here. I
00:22:15 have not looked into it.
00:22:16 That’s I I I’ll
00:22:20 but I mean I think there I think it’s
00:22:22 pretty I I think that’s a pretty
00:22:24 interesting idea.
00:22:26 >> Um and I
00:22:28 >> my my big thing is how the soul is what
00:22:31 directs it all.
00:22:33 >> Mhm.
00:22:34 >> In fact, just to use the word we’re
00:22:36 going to get into later, it’s the
00:22:37 essence.
00:22:40 >> So
00:22:41 it’s the core. it. We’re We’re a soul
00:22:45 with a body, not a body with a soul.
00:22:48 >> Yeah. There you go.
00:22:49 >> So, anyways, all right. So, that was a
00:22:52 lot of little sidetracks. Um, but it was
00:22:55 a good discussion.
00:22:57 >> Yeah.
00:22:58 >> So, I think that was 14, right? Yeah.
00:23:02 >> Mhm.
00:23:04 >> Now, we’ll just read 15 and we’ll go
00:23:07 back to it and I’ll read it. We’ll take
00:23:09 turns. And the spirit and the body are
00:23:11 the soul of man. Okay. Okay. So, this is
00:23:13 the one we’re going to get into, but
00:23:15 let’s finish reading some of the context
00:23:17 to help us know more what’s going on.
00:23:20 So, uh 16, Ben, will you do that?
00:23:23 >> And the resurrection from the dead is
00:23:26 the redemption of the soul.
00:23:28 >> Okay. So resurrection
00:23:31 um I I mean we talked about this a
00:23:33 little bit earlier but that’s um the
00:23:36 reuniting of the what I’ll say soul or
00:23:41 uh Abraham in fact let’s go look at
00:23:43 Abraham 3 real quick he used some words
00:23:46 interchangeably
00:23:47 right
00:23:51 um oh that’s not what I wanted to do
00:23:55 there’s too many buttons
00:23:57 okay that’s what I want it. I don’t want
00:23:59 that one up anymore. We’ll do this.
00:24:09 Yeah, I go here to find stuff cuz F is a
00:24:12 wonderful tool.
00:24:15 Anyways, uh and I should have made this
00:24:18 A
00:24:20 B A I think or one, two, three. Oh,
00:24:23 there’s four. Anyways, I could have made
00:24:25 this a better kayaism, but I mean I was
00:24:29 I’m better Oh, I’m better at kais
00:24:31 kayaisms than I used to be. Okay. Um
00:24:36 so, uh here’s
00:24:39 um in Abraham 3 22 through 23 is using
00:24:44 the words intelligences, souls, and
00:24:48 spirits
00:24:50 which Abraham is.
00:24:54 you uh interchangeably here. Okay.
00:25:00 >> So, uh intelligence, souls, and spirits,
00:25:03 and that’s a whole another subject with
00:25:05 the DNC. I forget the section that uses
00:25:07 intelligences, but anyways.
00:25:09 >> So, I do think that the word redemption
00:25:11 there is really an interesting way of
00:25:14 looking into what the meaning of into
00:25:18 what the meaning of this passage is.
00:25:20 Because when you look in the Bible and
00:25:23 you see when the word redemption is
00:25:26 used, especially in Torah,
00:25:30 it’s almost always associated with
00:25:33 paying a debt
00:25:36 um
00:25:38 redemption from slavery, freeing from
00:25:40 slavery
00:25:43 or um or something of that nature where
00:25:46 a debt has been incurred and paid.
00:25:51 So, uh, just going off of what Ben said,
00:25:53 I will admit I have not done a deep word
00:25:55 study on redemption,
00:25:58 but the descriptions that Ben brought
00:26:00 out sounds like you’re at least
00:26:03 uh, tustrial degree or glory in the
00:26:07 kingdom of heaven, which sounds like
00:26:09 justification.
00:26:11 Uh, maybe it’s more, but it’s at minimum
00:26:14 it’s justification. And this is where I
00:26:17 I haven’t done a word study on
00:26:18 redemption, but you can use my search
00:26:21 tool where you just go region.
00:26:24 >> Mhm.
00:26:26 >> In fact, the other day I thought about
00:26:27 how I could do an improvement where if
00:26:30 you just type a word, it could just do
00:26:31 reg x for it. Um, I don’t know when or
00:26:35 if I’ll ever get to that, but so it’s
00:26:38 easy to write reg x open print,
00:26:40 redemption, close print. Right. So,
00:26:44 >> but it’s an idea how to make it a little
00:26:46 easier for people to use. And then you
00:26:47 can go read all the verses that have the
00:26:49 word redemption.
00:26:50 >> Mhm.
00:26:51 >> And it searches pretty fast.
00:26:54 Well, you can read all those verses and
00:26:57 then and then if you really want to get
00:26:59 an understanding for what Yah means when
00:27:02 he uses the word redemption, you can
00:27:05 look into um context into the Hebrew,
00:27:09 into the Greek, etc., etc.
00:27:12 >> Yes. Yes. Uh the the search tool is a
00:27:16 basic get you started tool. Mhm.
00:27:19 >> Um though I I would wonder since I think
00:27:23 it’s my turn to read 17. I’ll just kind
00:27:25 of bring this up. But 17 talks about
00:27:27 quickenth which is sanctification.
00:27:30 >> Mhm.
00:27:31 >> Which we’re talking about redemption and
00:27:33 then quickening makes me feel that there
00:27:37 is some support that there is redemption
00:27:40 is justification
00:27:42 because quickenth is sanctification.
00:27:44 >> Yes.
00:27:45 So I but I I will tell you to be open
00:27:50 and honest. I need to look into that
00:27:52 more myself, okay? Because it’s not
00:27:54 something I’ve been
00:27:57 um passionate about looking up, okay?
00:27:59 Cuz I I have a long to-do list of things
00:28:02 to study.
00:28:04 Um so in fact, look, I just showed you
00:28:07 one of the many pages and posts that I’m
00:28:10 trying to finish. I get sidetracked with
00:28:14 When we when you um when you study the
00:28:18 scriptures a lot, there’s a lot of
00:28:20 things that um come forward that require
00:28:25 your attention.
00:28:26 >> No. Yes. Yes. And I I want to focus on
00:28:28 the word study, not read.
00:28:31 >> Yeah.
00:28:32 >> The scriptures never say to read the
00:28:34 scriptures. They say to study them,
00:28:36 ponder them, which is think about them
00:28:39 throughout the day,
00:28:40 >> and even more specifically to search
00:28:42 them. Yes. And then pray about that.
00:28:47 Right. So anyways, all right. And the
00:28:50 redemption of the soul is through him
00:28:53 Yeshua
00:28:54 quickenth all things
00:28:57 in whose bosom is declared that the poor
00:29:01 in heart
00:29:03 and the meek of the earth shall inherit
00:29:06 the earth.
00:29:09 Yeah, I I I didn’t read it exactly, but
00:29:12 I mean, get over it. Um
00:29:15 because it’s not literal poor like in
00:29:19 money. And it and the it is the earth.
00:29:22 >> It’s the sanctified that will inherit
00:29:24 the earth. Okay? And there’s other
00:29:26 scriptures that bring that out
00:29:28 >> which brings out how quickening is
00:29:30 another example how quickening is
00:29:32 sanctification which is the receiving
00:29:35 the celestial glory. Okay.
00:29:37 Yeah.
00:29:39 >> So, uh these verses on the context 14-17
00:29:44 is talking about
00:29:47 um resurrection of the dead. So, the
00:29:50 joining of well, I prefer to say soul,
00:29:54 right?
00:29:55 >> Mhm.
00:29:57 >> And the physical body.
00:30:02 >> Now, in the Book of Mormon, soul and
00:30:04 spirit are interchangeable. We’ll look
00:30:06 at that in a little bit. Especially
00:30:07 dealing with the resurrection. We’ll
00:30:09 look at that in a bit.
00:30:11 >> Um, we’ll use my search tool or maybe I
00:30:13 have notes. We’ll figure that out in a
00:30:15 minute. But I’ll show you how to use the
00:30:17 search tool to find it. It’s pretty
00:30:19 easy. Um, it’s just my search tool
00:30:22 allows you to do a logic tree.
00:30:24 >> Um, so this will be an quick example of
00:30:26 that. Are the soul of man. So this is
00:30:29 where um
00:30:32 it really trips people up here. it the
00:30:35 soul of man.
00:30:37 So
00:30:39 um
00:30:41 how I resolved the issue that actually
00:30:46 um made sense to Ben too. Okay. Because
00:30:50 you know the iron sharpening iron as we
00:30:52 talked about the intro.
00:30:53 >> Mhm.
00:30:54 >> Um
00:30:55 is looking at the 1828 dictionary. So
00:30:58 let’s go do that. Okay.
00:31:02 Um I I will say that the 1828 dictionary
00:31:06 for the modern scriptures has clarified
00:31:10 a lot. Okay.
00:31:12 >> Yes. Uh and especially it helps to
00:31:16 clarify if you don’t have to stick to
00:31:18 the first definition of every word.
00:31:21 >> Uh yes. And um I will say
00:31:27 I was a rule breaker on my mission and I
00:31:30 lugged this around on my mission. I
00:31:32 actually have a physical copy.
00:31:34 >> Yeah.
00:31:35 >> Uh most of the time you’ll see me just
00:31:37 do it on the internet cuz it’s or my and
00:31:39 I have it on my phone too. It’s easier.
00:31:43 But if I need to I do have the physical
00:31:46 copy. It’s just not as convenient to
00:31:49 work with.
00:31:50 >> Yeah. So yeah, we yeah, I always uh
00:31:55 there there’s a
00:31:57 yeah, that’s that’s a good resource to
00:31:59 have.
00:32:00 >> Oh, yeah. I’m not I’m keeping that
00:32:02 thing. I
00:32:05 I So I I mean, so you know, they say one
00:32:09 way to find out who a person is is ask
00:32:12 them,
00:32:14 uh, what would you take out of your
00:32:16 house, physical items, if your house was
00:32:19 burning? Um, the answer’s easy for me.
00:32:23 My scriptures.
00:32:25 >> Yep.
00:32:26 >> It my journal, my GST journals that I
00:32:29 made, right?
00:32:31 Um, and then
00:32:35 my book of Morning with my notes, the
00:32:37 DNC with the notes, and then,
00:32:40 uh, any of these other
00:32:44 reference book. Uh, you can’t really see
00:32:46 it. Anyways,
00:32:47 >> uh I have a bookcase of various
00:32:49 reference books. Uh that’s what I’m
00:32:52 taking.
00:32:53 >> Mhm.
00:32:55 >> I I I
00:33:04 try
00:33:06 to have the word
00:33:10 direct me in my life.
00:33:12 >> Yeah. Now, um,
00:33:16 interestingly enough, what what, uh, I
00:33:19 would have on that list of things that I
00:33:21 would take out of my house in the event
00:33:22 of a fire is, of course, the scriptures
00:33:26 and of and, uh, 20 and 24-hour bags for
00:33:30 myself and my family. So,
00:33:32 >> uh, yeah, I have other things I would
00:33:33 take depending how big the list you want
00:33:35 to make it, right? But
00:33:37 >> Exactly.
00:33:38 Um, like I I want to take my bow, but I
00:33:42 mean there’s a lot of that has symbolic
00:33:45 symbolic meanings for me, which is
00:33:47 Torah. But anyways,
00:33:49 >> um, but uh, we can look at a lot of
00:33:52 these, but there is one that I want to
00:33:55 uh, specifically focus on,
00:33:59 >> and I I think I just rather would look
00:34:01 at that. Um, so Ben, I I Are you willing
00:34:07 to read it because you’re the dictionary
00:34:08 man?
00:34:09 >> Okay,
00:34:11 that would be essence, the spirit for
00:34:14 spirit, essence, chief part as charity,
00:34:19 the soul of it all. Uh, the soul of all
00:34:21 the virtues. So yeah, it’s the ch it’s
00:34:24 the essence.
00:34:26 Yeah. now. Okay. So, I’m going to
00:34:29 sidetrack this just real quick because
00:34:32 that charity
00:34:34 is because
00:34:37 a lot of people think charity means
00:34:40 giving stuff to the poor. Yes, that is
00:34:44 part of it,
00:34:46 but it is actually not the major part.
00:34:49 Okay. And it’s also this actually makes
00:34:52 it very clear that at one point charity
00:34:54 was understood to be the essence or um
00:35:00 the essence of the of all of the
00:35:02 commandments.
00:35:04 >> Yeah. Uh well, charity is keeping the
00:35:07 commandments actually.
00:35:09 >> Yeah.
00:35:10 >> Um so when you go look at the uh to Zuck
00:35:14 Ben, you want to say the word for me?
00:35:15 >> CT.
00:35:17 >> No. No. Oh, wait. Oh, saddaka.
00:35:21 >> Yeah, thank you. Um, it actually means
00:35:24 keeping the commandments basically.
00:35:28 >> Yeah, it’s
00:35:29 >> which is the um coming under Yeshua’s
00:35:32 covering and keeping his commandments
00:35:34 and helping others to do the same, which
00:35:36 is actually Jacob’s latter is the
00:35:38 purpose of life.
00:35:41 >> Yep.
00:35:43 >> So, let’s go back to the dictionary.
00:35:46 If the coming of Yeshua was covering and
00:35:50 keeping the commandments helping other
00:35:51 people to do the same
00:35:53 >> is the essence or purpose of life
00:35:58 that goes along with charity.
00:36:00 >> It’s the essence, right?
00:36:04 >> It’s the essence of life. It’s and it’s
00:36:05 the sole essence of all virtues is
00:36:08 Torah,
00:36:10 >> his commandments.
00:36:12 Mhm.
00:36:14 >> So I without knowing that charity means
00:36:18 keeping the commandments,
00:36:21 >> this could be a little confusing.
00:36:26 >> Yeah.
00:36:27 >> But knowing that it makes this make a
00:36:29 lot more sense. Sorry, Ben, I
00:36:30 interrupted.
00:36:31 >> If charity is some sort of touchyfey
00:36:33 kind of, oh, I just love everybody kind
00:36:36 of thing. This is really confusing.
00:36:39 >> Well, okay. Okay. So it is love because
00:36:43 the ten commandments are about how
00:36:45 Yahweh wants us to love him or the ten
00:36:48 divisions of Torah are about how Yahweh
00:36:50 wants us to love him others and
00:36:52 ourselves.
00:36:53 >> I do think that the we’re talking about
00:36:56 a difference in terms
00:36:57 >> Oh yeah yeah yeah. I was
00:37:00 >> the Hebrew concept of love versus the
00:37:02 Greek concept of love.
00:37:03 >> I I I agree. I agree. I was just trying
00:37:07 to put in the right one at the same
00:37:09 time.
00:37:10 Yeah. The Hebrew concept of love is to
00:37:13 choose
00:37:15 um the Hebrew concept of love is to
00:37:18 choose
00:37:21 something.
00:37:21 >> To to choose somebody, to choose Yahweh
00:37:26 >> and to choose your neighbor and
00:37:28 yourself, as in
00:37:31 >> to love them as you would love yourself.
00:37:33 Oh, wait a minute. Someone already said
00:37:35 that.
00:37:36 >> Yeah. Oh, wait. Uh shoot. Uh
00:37:38 >> yeah. And actually both of those are
00:37:40 from
00:37:41 >> the Old Testament.
00:37:43 >> Mhm.
00:37:44 >> They’re not new.
00:37:46 >> So they Yeah. So the Hebrew concept of
00:37:48 love helps you understand the scriptures
00:37:51 a whole lot better.
00:37:52 >> Uh yes, it does. So um
00:37:58 comp what? Sorry.
00:38:03 So um
00:38:06 it’s been a while.
00:38:09 Okay. So, here here’s love Yahweh. Oh,
00:38:12 we should probably make that bigger. You
00:38:13 want to read that for us, Ben? After I
00:38:15 make it bigger.
00:38:16 >> Oh, yes. After you make it bigger, I
00:38:17 would love to read it.
00:38:21 >> Okay.
00:38:24 And thou shalt love Yahu
00:38:27 with all thy heart, with all thy soul,
00:38:30 and with all thy might.
00:38:32 >> So, could that be like how new means
00:38:35 renew?
00:38:36 >> Mhm. because Yeshua said this is a new
00:38:38 commandment
00:38:40 and then uh pick your favorite. We don’t
00:38:42 have to read them all.
00:38:44 >> Yeah.
00:38:45 >> So, love your neighbor.
00:38:47 >> Yeah. Let’s see. But the stranger that
00:38:51 dwelleth with you shall be unto you as
00:38:54 one born among you, and thou shalt love
00:38:57 him as thyself. For ye were strangers in
00:39:00 the land of Egypt. I am.
00:39:03 So just so people aware that’s Leviticus
00:39:06 19:34.
00:39:08 So it’s like that one got renewed also.
00:39:12 >> So was Yeshua restorer as Joseph Smith
00:39:17 was?
00:39:18 >> Yeah.
00:39:19 >> Yes, he was.
00:39:20 >> Yes, he was. Okay. So let’s go back. Oh,
00:39:25 and I do want to say this just real
00:39:27 quick about charity
00:39:30 that uh Galatians
00:39:33 5 and Moroni 7 are good things that
00:39:35 lists the fruits of the spirit
00:39:39 uh as charity.
00:39:43 >> Um fruit is works, works of the Holy
00:39:47 Spirit, aka Torah.
00:39:50 The things listed in those two lists are
00:39:52 actual commandments in Torah,
00:39:57 literally. So if you’re keeping Torah,
00:40:01 you’ll do those works, hence fruits.
00:40:07 Yep.
00:40:10 >> Torah is still valid.
00:40:11 >> It’s just one of those things.
00:40:13 >> No.
00:40:15 >> And and if you do not do those works,
00:40:17 you do not have charity. regardless of
00:40:20 how much good feelings you have for
00:40:22 everybody.
00:40:23 >> Yeah. I So
00:40:25 charity has been perverted through the
00:40:28 years where yes, part of charity is
00:40:32 giving to the poor as in that’s part of
00:40:35 the commandments. Okay.
00:40:37 >> Mhm.
00:40:37 >> Uh it’s all over the place including
00:40:39 tithing. Okay.
00:40:42 Um there is a separate temple tax for
00:40:45 temple. Okay. And in the New Testament,
00:40:48 they met in people’s houses for church.
00:40:51 Anyways,
00:40:53 um
00:40:56 um part of charity is taking care of the
00:40:59 poor. Now, I I would
00:41:03 it’s a big part, okay? But there’s other
00:41:06 parts to it because there is the com uh
00:41:09 verse where it talks about how
00:41:13 uh
00:41:16 this is a summary. It’s not exact quote
00:41:19 that the instance of pure religion is to
00:41:22 love Yahweh and
00:41:25 >> taking care um sorry it’s taking care of
00:41:28 the widow and the fatherless. Okay.
00:41:30 >> Yeah. This is it’s in James. Pure
00:41:33 religion and non-defiled is this that
00:41:35 you take care of the widows and
00:41:36 fatherless and that you keep the
00:41:38 commandments of Yah.
00:41:40 >> Yeah. Yeah. So um now that is also
00:41:44 symbolic. We all I I’m sidetracking even
00:41:46 more but the widowed are the believers
00:41:51 because Yeshua died.
00:41:53 He’s our father.
00:41:56 And the fathers are the unbelievers.
00:42:00 >> Mhm.
00:42:00 >> Because they don’t have a father.
00:42:03 >> Yep.
00:42:04 >> Or take care of everyone. Okay.
00:42:07 >> Yeah.
00:42:07 >> Um which goes along with love your
00:42:09 neighbor as as yourself.
00:42:12 >> So we get back to this whole thing of
00:42:14 the spirit being the essence. Just like
00:42:16 >> Yeah. So I I do I’m gonna
00:42:18 >> just like we talked about charity being
00:42:20 the essence of all virtue. The spirit is
00:42:23 the essence. this the body and the soul
00:42:27 are the essence of man.
00:42:30 >> Yeah. So I’m going to read uh part of
00:42:32 definition for again the part I want to
00:42:36 focus on is essence.
00:42:39 Okay. Essence the core or maybe I know
00:42:43 it’s not in the definition but the core
00:42:46 or reason right.
00:42:48 >> Mhm.
00:42:49 Um, so let’s go back to DNC 84 some
00:42:55 >> 88.
00:42:56 >> Oh yeah, 88. Sorry. And I did the wrong
00:42:58 share.
00:43:01 >> That’s okay.
00:43:02 >> Uh,
00:43:03 >> we’ll get there.
00:43:04 >> Yeah, there’s the right one. Okay,
00:43:07 there’s just a lot of buttons. Um,
00:43:10 so and the spirit or I would say soul is
00:43:14 my preferred word because it’s generally
00:43:16 speaking less confusing except on this
00:43:18 verse. This is the only verse I know
00:43:20 that it’s confusing on. Okay.
00:43:22 >> Mhm. But the
00:43:24 >> so by the so by the way when you have a
00:43:28 verse that seems to contradict what the
00:43:32 what is taught in the rest of scripture
00:43:36 at face value then what you do is you
00:43:41 don’t necessarily take it at face value
00:43:43 you try to reconcile it. Yes, I agree
00:43:48 with Ben and that is a very important
00:43:50 point that Ben’s bringing out here.
00:43:53 Yahweh’s word does not contradict
00:43:55 itself.
00:43:56 >> In fact, um let’s on that point, I have
00:43:59 a good quote from Joseph Smith. I’m
00:44:01 going to pause while I go find the
00:44:03 quote. So, give me one
00:44:06 second. Okay.
00:44:08 Uh so, Ben helped me find it. Um,
00:44:13 I I I’m a little out of practice because
00:44:16 I’ve been off of social media. But
00:44:17 anyways, um,
00:44:20 so Ben, help me find this quote. Ben’s
00:44:22 going to read it. I’ll talk about a
00:44:24 little part that’s a little confusing,
00:44:25 but Ben’s going to read the quote, and
00:44:27 he’ll probably talk some, too.
00:44:28 >> Mhm. There have also been ministering
00:44:32 angels in the church which were of Satan
00:44:34 appearing which were of Satan appearing
00:44:37 as an angel of light. A sister in the
00:44:39 state of New York had a vision who said
00:44:41 it who said it was told her that if she
00:44:44 would go to a certain place in the
00:44:46 woods, an angel would appear to her. She
00:44:48 went at the appointed time and saw a
00:44:50 glorious personage descending a raid in
00:44:53 white with sandy colored hair. He
00:44:56 commenced and told her to fear Elohim
00:45:00 and said that her husband was called to
00:45:02 do great things, but that he must not go
00:45:04 more than 100 miles from home, or he
00:45:08 would not return. Whereas Elohim had
00:45:11 called him to go to the ends of the
00:45:13 earth, and he has since been more than
00:45:15 1,000 miles from home and is yet alive.
00:45:19 Many true things were spoken by this
00:45:21 personage, and many things that were
00:45:23 false. How it may be asked how it how it
00:45:27 may be asked was this known to be a bad
00:45:29 angel by the color of his hair. That is
00:45:33 one of the signs that he may be known by
00:45:34 and and by his contradicting a former
00:45:38 revelation. Okay. So the main point here
00:45:41 is contradicting a former revelation.
00:45:44 Okay? Meaning Yahweh doesn’t contradict
00:45:47 himself. Now there is some confusing
00:45:50 things about the sandy colored hair. the
00:45:53 color of his hair. So this gets into
00:45:56 Hebrew symbolism here. Okay, hair is
00:46:00 authority.
00:46:02 The Sandy deals with how uh at the end
00:46:07 of the sermon on Torah, more more known
00:46:11 as sermon on the mount
00:46:13 that uh there’s two groups of people.
00:46:16 those who build upon the rock Yeshua and
00:46:18 his revelations
00:46:21 uh in full I’m going to say in full and
00:46:25 this even goes with this quote here or
00:46:27 the sand
00:46:29 that where they pick and choose the ones
00:46:31 that they want now the reason I can say
00:46:34 that from here from the sermon on Torah
00:46:38 or s more known as sermon on the mount
00:46:40 when you go look at end of Matthew 7
00:46:42 where does sand come from
00:46:46 sand is broken rock. Yeah, it’s little
00:46:51 pieces of the rock meaning you’ve picked
00:46:56 you’ve cherrypicked the things you
00:46:58 wanted from Yeshua instead of taking the
00:47:01 whole so such that you are now a branch
00:47:05 broken off
00:47:08 >> to be burned
00:47:10 or a vine broken off to be burned.
00:47:14 >> Oh yeah. Um, you know, just like in
00:47:17 Romans 11, the the uh the unbelieving
00:47:21 branches are broken off and believing
00:47:23 branches are grafted into their place.
00:47:26 >> Yeah. And so what I’m trying to bring
00:47:27 out has sand broke off the rock. They
00:47:30 took pieces,
00:47:33 their favorite pieces of the word of
00:47:35 Yahweh
00:47:37 and tried to stand on that and and it’s
00:47:40 fine. You can do that. You have agency.
00:47:43 But when the flood of fire and brimstone
00:47:46 comes, you will fail.
00:47:52 >> Yeah. Second coming, if that’s what your
00:47:55 foundation is, you’ll be burned by the
00:47:59 flood of fire and brimstone. Okay?
00:48:03 You need the whole fact we Yeshua when
00:48:07 he was tempted uh during his 40 days in
00:48:10 the wilderness,
00:48:13 one of the responses he said to Satan
00:48:15 was to live by every word of Yahw.
00:48:20 >> Not some of it but all of it.
00:48:24 >> Yeah. So, and this also applies for all
00:48:27 those people who want to say that um the
00:48:30 word who want to claim the word of Yah
00:48:33 to be the work of Satan such as the Book
00:48:36 of Mormon or what have you or parts of
00:48:39 the Bible like Deuteronomy, which
00:48:43 >> which is kind of funny. I’ll just say
00:48:45 this and I’ll put a link to more work
00:48:47 that other people have done, but
00:48:48 Deuteronomy’s second telling.
00:48:51 Yeah.
00:48:52 >> It’s not the first time that it’s in the
00:48:54 scriptures. It’s in the previous four
00:48:57 books of Moses.
00:48:59 >> Yeah. So, and the interesting thing is
00:49:02 is all differences
00:49:06 uh between the book of Deuteronomy and
00:49:08 the previous telling can be um explained
00:49:13 with a knowledge of the structure of
00:49:15 Hittite treaties which actually treat
00:49:17 the same events in different ways based
00:49:20 on
00:49:20 >> Yeah, it’s just a different angle,
00:49:21 different perspective. And so once you
00:49:25 realize that that is the case, you
00:49:28 realize the book of Deuteronomy probably
00:49:30 could only have that the books of Moses
00:49:33 could only have been written in their
00:49:35 original state because there are things
00:49:38 in there that are obviously later
00:49:39 editions, but they um in their original
00:49:42 but they’re really small and not
00:49:44 significant.
00:49:45 >> Well, yeah. And so Joseph Smith, just on
00:49:47 that point, Joseph Smith has a
00:49:50 >> he’s
00:49:52 near the top, but Joseph Smith, he says
00:49:55 he believes in the Bible as it was
00:49:57 written by the author.
00:49:58 >> Well, that one right there.
00:50:00 >> Yeah. So,
00:50:04 >> some changes have happened. I I do not
00:50:06 believe the Bible or I’m even say this,
00:50:08 the Book of Mormon is perfect as in the
00:50:11 current. I mean, the kind of changes
00:50:13 that I’m talking about is when they name
00:50:16 is when they’re like naming locations so
00:50:20 that people know kind of know where it
00:50:22 is in the day that they’re in the day
00:50:24 that they’re reading it.
00:50:26 >> Oh, yeah. Yeah. Where they they updated
00:50:28 the location with the current term. I
00:50:31 mean, get over it. Which actually helps
00:50:34 defeat Bible code garbage, but that’s a
00:50:37 whole another subject.
00:50:38 >> Yeah. But anyway, so when you do not be
00:50:42 careful that you do, please be careful
00:50:44 that you do not call the things of
00:50:46 Elohim the things of man or a devil.
00:50:50 Yes, it takes
00:50:53 time,
00:50:56 pondering,
00:50:57 listening to true servants,
00:51:01 and actual acting. Until you act, you
00:51:03 won’t know. In fact, Yeshua, Ben could
00:51:06 probably remember where it is, but in
00:51:07 the New Testament, Yeshua said, “If you
00:51:09 want to know if it’s from me or if I I’m
00:51:11 summarizing the quote or the father.”
00:51:14 So, he’s basically saying, “Do you want
00:51:15 to know if this is true or did I make
00:51:17 this up? Live it and find out.”
00:51:20 >> Yeah.
00:51:23 >> Which goes along with Elma 9, I mean,
00:51:25 Emma 129 through 111 because if you keep
00:51:28 it, you’ll be given more. You’ll be
00:51:30 given deeper understanding. I’ve seen
00:51:32 that myself. Okay. I anyways we’re
00:51:35 sidetracking a lot
00:51:37 >> but yeah
00:51:39 >> go ahead but
00:51:40 >> I think it’s important I think those
00:51:41 were important points to add that we
00:51:44 really don’t want to be calling the
00:51:46 things of God the things of Yah
00:51:51 um the things of man or the devil.
00:51:54 >> Yeah. Now also I will just say a lot of
00:51:57 people make fun of Joseph Smith for the
00:51:59 sandy colored hair.
00:52:01 He he knew the scriptures and he knew at
00:52:04 least some of the Hebrew idioms. He was
00:52:06 using them.
00:52:09 >> Her is authority.
00:52:11 Okay.
00:52:12 >> Yep.
00:52:13 >> And the Sandy goes with the sermon on
00:52:15 Torah, better known as sermon on the
00:52:16 mount at the end of Matthew 7.
00:52:21 >> Yes. Yes, it does.
00:52:24 So I I’ll also link to my patriarchal
00:52:27 blessing post which talks about it but
00:52:30 it’s I I gave the essence of it as we’re
00:52:34 kind of focused on that word. So on that
00:52:38 point I I do want before we go back to
00:52:41 the scripture I want to bring out a
00:52:42 theory.
00:52:44 Um, it is very common when people hears
00:52:49 a new word that they think is cool,
00:52:51 they’ll start using it, right?
00:52:54 >> Very good.
00:52:56 >> I do believe that’s what happened here
00:52:58 in DC 88. So, uh, and
00:53:04 that,
00:53:05 um, this is speculation on my part, but
00:53:09 it does make some sense. Okay. The
00:53:11 reason why Yahweh used these words here
00:53:14 is because Joseph Smith probably came
00:53:17 across how soul means essence
00:53:21 and he
00:53:23 was in a phase of using it a lot or some
00:53:26 or whatever. Okay.
00:53:28 >> Now, um I’m going to pause for a minute,
00:53:31 but I’m going to find it. Uh a scripture
00:53:34 from the Book of Mormon that I believe
00:53:35 help supports this. Okay. So, one
00:53:37 second.
00:53:42 Oh, shoot.
00:53:46 >> Well, I think it’s paused.
00:53:48 >> It said recording in progress.
00:53:51 >> Did we just
00:53:54 >> Yeah, we did.
00:53:55 >> Yeah. Okay. So, I’m going to pause.
00:54:00 >> So,
00:54:02 uh this is uh my fault. Um,
00:54:08 I realized that we were paused because
00:54:12 when I thought I was going to pause, I
00:54:14 hit resume. So, I don’t remember
00:54:18 everything that we said while paused. I
00:54:20 am sorry people.
00:54:22 Um,
00:54:27 anyways, one thing I do know is how we
00:54:31 looked at the dictionary. So, let’s go
00:54:33 back that because I don’t know what was
00:54:35 actually recorded and I’m not gonna
00:54:37 >> we’re just gonna touch it quickly here.
00:54:39 >> Yeah, we’ll do quickly. So, sorry if
00:54:42 this is repeating. I just I don’t
00:54:44 remember. Sorry. Um, so one of the
00:54:48 definitions of soul is essence. Okay.
00:54:52 Uh, and I am sorry that I had problems
00:54:55 pushing buttons. Everybody likes to push
00:54:58 other people’s buttons. I forgot to push
00:55:00 the right button on the computer. I am
00:55:01 so sorry. So this is going to be
00:55:04 somewhat um a summary but one of the
00:55:08 definitions of soul’s essence okay which
00:55:12 goes along with the 18 I mean sorry
00:55:18 uh DNC 88
00:55:22 um
00:55:24 >> 15
00:55:25 >> 15 how I’m going to say a little
00:55:29 different here and the soul and the body
00:55:32 physical body are the essence of man
00:55:35 which goes along with how the redemption
00:55:37 of man is the resurrection and the
00:55:40 resurrection is the spirit or the soul
00:55:44 reunited with the physical body. Okay.
00:55:48 And 17 goes along with the quickening or
00:55:51 sanctification of those who are uh pure
00:55:54 in heart and meek and they shall inherit
00:55:58 the earth and the ones who inherit the
00:56:00 earth are the sanctified. Okay.
00:56:02 >> Mhm.
00:56:03 >> So, and then Ben remembered Elma
00:56:08 >> chapter 40 is a good one.
00:56:10 >> Why the reason why we can’t take this at
00:56:12 face value is because the scriptures do
00:56:14 not contradict themselves and this is in
00:56:17 direct and this would stand in direct
00:56:19 contradiction of Alma chapter 40.
00:56:22 >> Yeah. Yeah. In addition, just on that
00:56:24 point, while Ben’s bringing that up,
00:56:25 hope I don’t know if this got recorded
00:56:27 or not because I don’t remember where is
00:56:29 this quote from Joseph Smith where at
00:56:32 the very end uh contradicting a former
00:56:35 revelation, you can’t new ones do not
00:56:38 contradict old ones. Okay. And funny,
00:56:41 there are some
00:56:46 difficult issues in this one. And the
00:56:48 sandy colored hair or the color of his
00:56:50 hair. If I’m repeating this, sorry, but
00:56:54 the sandy colored hair goes along with
00:56:56 the end of Sermon on Torah or more known
00:56:59 as Sermon on the mount in Matthew 7. At
00:57:01 the very end, are you standing on the
00:57:04 rock or on the sand?
00:57:06 >> Sand is broken off rock
00:57:11 >> or you cherrypick the things that you
00:57:14 like from Yeshua rather than taking the
00:57:16 whole. Okay.
00:57:18 >> Yeah.
00:57:19 >> Now, and the the reason we were looking
00:57:23 at the Book of Mormon is cuz my
00:57:27 issue with that common reading of DNC
00:57:31 88:15
00:57:33 is how it contradicts how it uses soul
00:57:36 and spirit interchangeably in the Book
00:57:39 of Mormon. Okay.
00:57:41 >> So, and Ben remembered Elma 40 is a good
00:57:44 example. And so here with the mortal
00:57:48 body there is spirits talking about the
00:57:50 resurrection or actually sorry verse 11
00:57:54 uh does talk about the death and
00:57:55 resurrection but is made known to me by
00:57:57 the spirits of all men as soon as they
00:57:59 depart from this mortal body. So this is
00:58:01 the death
00:58:03 >> spirit departing from the mortal body.
00:58:06 >> Right? And then down here in verse 18
00:58:10 uh
00:58:11 behold I say unto you nay but it remeth
00:58:14 the reuniting of the soul with the
00:58:17 physical body.
00:58:20 So the separation of the spirit and the
00:58:22 reuniting of the soul
00:58:25 that goes along with how I sorry if this
00:58:28 is a repeat but Abraham 3
00:58:32 uh
00:58:34 using um intelligence,
00:58:37 soul and spirit interchangeably. Okay.
00:58:41 >> Intelligence, soul, spirits which
00:58:43 Abraham is. He’s using those three words
00:58:46 interchangeably. The intelligences
00:58:49 has another can of worms with the
00:58:52 Doctrine and Covenants we’re not going
00:58:53 to get into, but it’s another word for
00:58:57 meaning soul or spirit.
00:59:03 Um, sorry if I’m going quick. I just I
00:59:05 don’t remember.
00:59:07 >> Okay. So just so just to continue with
00:59:11 that there is a section there is a verse
00:59:14 in chapter 40 that does use spirit and
00:59:17 soul in the same verse meaning the same
00:59:20 thing.
00:59:21 >> Okay. So let’s pause and then we’ll
00:59:23 share it. Okay.
00:59:25 >> Yeah.
00:59:26 >> Okay. So we found two verses that goes
00:59:30 along with what Ben is bringing out
00:59:32 because Ben remembers Elma 40 better
00:59:34 than I do. So I’ll let him kind of focus
00:59:36 on it. um because he’s the one that
00:59:39 actually remembered the chapter.
00:59:41 >> So here we actually what we’re going to
00:59:44 look at Elma 40 11 and 15 because in
00:59:48 these verses
00:59:50 the words soul and spirit are used in
00:59:53 the same verse to say to be expressing
00:59:57 the exact same idea. Now, this is not
01:00:03 an uncommon thing. Even in English,
01:00:07 when close together, we prefer to use
01:00:10 different words that mean the same thing
01:00:11 because otherwise it sounds kind of
01:00:13 funny. That’s what’s going on here.
01:00:16 They’re using different words that mean
01:00:17 the same thing. Okay?
01:00:19 >> Right? So, we start in verse 11 here.
01:00:22 Now concerning the state of the soul or
01:00:25 the spirit between death and the
01:00:27 resurrection, behold, it has been made
01:00:29 known unto me by an angel that the
01:00:31 spirits of all men.
01:00:34 Was was it soul or spirit? I’m confused
01:00:36 here.
01:00:37 >> Right. As soon as they are departed from
01:00:40 this mortal body, yay, the spirits of
01:00:42 all men uh or the souls of all men,
01:00:45 whether they be good or evil, are taken
01:00:47 home to that Elohim who gave them life.
01:00:51 Oh, I I will say this goes against what
01:00:53 some people say, including De Snuffer,
01:00:56 where they have to figure it out or they
01:00:58 could get lost.
01:01:00 That’s not anywhere in there. They’re
01:01:02 taken home to the Elohim that gave them
01:01:04 life. Period. Taken, not find their way.
01:01:09 Anyways, I’ll leave it at that because
01:01:11 that’s another side subject.
01:01:13 >> Now, there are some that And now we go
01:01:15 to
01:01:15 >> So, this is 15.
01:01:16 >> Yep. Now, we go to verse 15. Now there
01:01:19 are some that have understood that this
01:01:20 state of happiness and this state of
01:01:22 misery of the soul before the
01:01:24 resurrection.
01:01:25 >> Okay. So this before the resurrection
01:01:27 stopping talking about the separation of
01:01:29 the soul and the physical body or in
01:01:33 other words the spirit and the physical
01:01:35 body
01:01:36 >> was a first resurrection. Yeah, I admit
01:01:38 it may be termed a resurrection. the
01:01:40 raising of the spirit or the soul.
01:01:42 >> Oh, wait.
01:01:43 >> Literally right there. Define spirit and
01:01:46 soul
01:01:48 >> as the same as they’re saying. You can
01:01:50 say this way or that way.
01:01:53 >> Right. That’s actually one of the
01:01:55 definitions in the 1828 dictionary is
01:01:58 talking about how you’re using different
01:02:00 names for the same thing.
01:02:01 >> Unless unless of course you want to get
01:02:03 like Bill Clinton and start saying
01:02:04 define or define the.
01:02:07 >> Yeah. Okay. Bill Clinton. I I I I don’t
01:02:11 think Bill Clinton is a good guy to go
01:02:14 iron with iron if you’re a believer.
01:02:16 Sorry.
01:02:17 >> Yeah. So I I mean, but it the only way
01:02:20 that you could actually
01:02:23 >> go against this is if you start
01:02:26 following in footsteps of of said of
01:02:28 such an individual.
01:02:30 >> Yes. Yes. I agree with that.
01:02:32 >> And their consignation to happiness or
01:02:34 misery according to the words which have
01:02:36 been spoken.
01:02:38 >> Okay. right there. Spirit or the soul.
01:02:41 >> Yeah. And uh verses 11 and 15 of Elma 40
01:02:46 of LDS vernacular or versifications
01:02:51 uh are using soul and spirit
01:02:53 interchangeably within the exact same
01:02:56 verses.
01:02:58 >> Yep. which
01:03:00 um goes along how
01:03:04 I will read this and the soul and the
01:03:07 physical body are the essence of man
01:03:12 for whatever reason
01:03:16 we need the physical body for the
01:03:19 fullness of joy
01:03:22 >> now I have some theories about it which
01:03:24 that’s a whole another side subject
01:03:26 which we probably shouldn’t get into
01:03:28 because it’s a lot of speculation.
01:03:31 >> Yeah, it’s needed,
01:03:32 >> but it is the the correct um correct
01:03:37 term for the physical body is the
01:03:39 tabernacle.
01:03:41 >> Yes. As
01:03:42 >> Yeshua was tabernacled.
01:03:44 >> You mean?
01:03:45 >> Yeah. Well, and we’re tabernacled for
01:03:48 eternity because of the resurre if you
01:03:50 are of the family of Adam, you will be
01:03:52 resurrected if you want to be or not.
01:03:56 and the Book of Mormon brings that out.
01:03:59 In fact, uh I’m just going to pause for
01:04:01 a minute.
01:04:04 Thank you, man. Okay, so I I if you ever
01:04:08 want to look, there’s lots of scriptures
01:04:10 with the word soul. I have a a a thing
01:04:13 of ones that are um kind of key ones.
01:04:17 Um but here’s in fact, looking at my
01:04:20 notes, Ben remembered the biggest
01:04:22 chapter. So there’s 4011, 4013,
01:04:28 14, and then 4015, and then Abraham 3.
01:04:31 Okay. So it looks like we covered the
01:04:32 main ones from looking at my notes.
01:04:35 >> Mhm.
01:04:36 >> So actually, here’s some other one. Oh,
01:04:38 I need to add I need to keep working on
01:04:40 that because those I guess this is one
01:04:42 of the todos that I have to finish.
01:04:45 Sorry.
01:04:46 Anyways,
01:04:47 >> it’s going to be it’s going to be all
01:04:48 right. But I do think that we have
01:04:51 covered enough just within the Book of
01:04:52 Mormon to let you know that body and
01:04:56 soul
01:04:58 uh that body
01:04:59 >> I think it mean
01:05:01 that spirit and soul mean the same
01:05:03 thing.
01:05:04 >> Yes. They’re uh tomato tomato, right?
01:05:08 >> Yeah.
01:05:10 >> Um so I I I I mean I could read it one
01:05:14 more time the way that I would read it
01:05:16 nowadays, right? Um, partly because of
01:05:19 the push back from Ben, which I’m
01:05:21 grateful for. Okay. And the soul and the
01:05:24 physical body are the essence of man.
01:05:27 Meaning,
01:05:28 mankind has both.
01:05:31 >> Yep.
01:05:33 >> In addition, it’s needed to get
01:05:36 quickened
01:05:38 and to get resurrected, which is the re
01:05:41 reuniting of those things, and
01:05:43 redemption, which is justification.
01:05:47 the context
01:05:49 of 14-17 really shows that
01:05:54 in addition Elma 40 and Abraham 3.
01:05:57 >> Right.
01:06:00 >> Yep.
01:06:01 >> Now I I do want to say one last thing
01:06:03 real quick at the end. Um, last week I
01:06:07 did a teaching about the tabernacles
01:06:09 furnishings.
01:06:12 Um, and the kingdom of heaven, which has
01:06:15 three degrees of glory. Um,
01:06:19 and my speculation that Adam was one
01:06:22 seraraphim and the coming servant is the
01:06:25 other. thinking about it more throughout
01:06:28 the week, I I feel even more confident
01:06:32 in that because to come to Yeshua, to go
01:06:36 through the various gates,
01:06:39 you have to come under Yeshua’s
01:06:41 covering, which is a big part of the job
01:06:44 of the messenger.
01:06:47 But then to see Yeshua,
01:06:50 you have to keep his law aka Torah, his
01:06:53 commandments,
01:06:54 his statutes, his judgments,
01:06:58 which is the job of the preparer.
01:07:02 And Adam is, I will say boldly, is the
01:07:06 greatest messenger. The coming servant
01:07:09 is the greatest preparer. And Yeshua
01:07:14 from the triad is the greatest redeemer.
01:07:18 I don’t think there’s any argument on
01:07:20 that one. There better not be,
01:07:21 >> right?
01:07:22 >> If there is, I we need to have a good
01:07:25 discussion,
01:07:27 >> right? No, there’s no there’s no you’ll
01:07:30 find no argument there.
01:07:33 >> Yeah. So, but to go to to be with Yoshua
01:07:39 and either just see him or see him in
01:07:42 his glory,
01:07:44 you need both of those to varying
01:07:46 degrees, right?
01:07:50 >> Yeah.
01:07:52 >> One’s a greater degree as you keep it
01:07:54 completely one where you keep it to some
01:07:58 degree, but you’re distracted by the
01:08:00 concerns of men. So
01:08:03 aka mammon money
01:08:08 um
01:08:09 as in you don’t keep his holidays
01:08:12 because you want we’d rather work to
01:08:14 keep his holidays. But anyways, that’s
01:08:16 another
01:08:17 >> all kinds of different things that cause
01:08:19 us to
01:08:21 that cause us to do things um
01:08:25 in ways that are not pleasing.
01:08:27 >> Yes. And a lot of it
01:08:30 going from the tastial to tastial I and
01:08:35 I talked about it last time. I’ll just
01:08:36 leave it at this has a lot to do with
01:08:39 worshiping
01:08:40 Yahweh.
01:08:43 U because there’s a lot of good people
01:08:45 who treat good people, treat other
01:08:47 people right, but do you treat Yeshua
01:08:52 the way that he actually commanded?
01:08:55 >> Yeah. So anyways, I think with that
01:09:00 hopefully we got the essence, hence
01:09:03 going along with my theory that Joseph
01:09:05 Smith was on this stint
01:09:09 uh of using soul’s essence when he
01:09:11 received that revelation which goes
01:09:13 along um
01:09:17 uh with uh 2 Nephi 31 something
01:09:21 um that Yahweh speaks to people in their
01:09:26 own language. Yahweh was primarily
01:09:28 speaking to Joseph Smith andor through
01:09:30 Joseph Smith so he could explain it to
01:09:33 others in DNC 888. Okay.
01:09:38 I think he was on this stint that soul
01:09:41 meant essence. It’s the thing. It’s the
01:09:44 theory that makes sense to me. Why use
01:09:46 the word soul there? Because we saw in
01:09:49 the dictionary it actually means
01:09:51 essence, right? Definition four.
01:09:55 So,
01:09:56 >> and why use a word when you yourself are
01:10:00 known for teaching that if something
01:10:02 contradicts a former revelation
01:10:06 that uh
01:10:09 that it’s not valid? Why would you use a
01:10:14 word
01:10:15 that could potentially be viewed as
01:10:19 contradicting another a former
01:10:21 revelation? Yeah, I’ve done it on more
01:10:24 controversial
01:10:25 things than this one. Right.
01:10:28 >> Right.
01:10:29 >> Um but anyways, you can go look through
01:10:32 the blog and the scripture studies. I
01:10:34 And
01:10:36 I do think as more study and thought on
01:10:39 those, even the more contradictory ones
01:10:41 actually prove out that
01:10:44 they weren’t
01:10:45 >> right.
01:10:45 >> Right. You can find a reconciliation.
01:10:50 You don’t have to dwell in the land of
01:10:54 pitting the scriptures against each
01:10:56 other.
01:10:57 >> Yeah. Or as Yahweh is changing his mind,
01:11:00 being a respector of persons, blah blah,
01:11:02 however you want to say it, right?
01:11:04 There’s lots of ways to claim the same
01:11:07 idea.
01:11:08 >> Yeah.
01:11:09 >> Yahweh’s the same yesterday, today, and
01:11:13 tomorrow.
01:11:17 Yeah.
01:11:17 >> The tricky thing is
01:11:21 getting in the heads of the person that
01:11:24 the revelation came through
01:11:28 >> to understand what was meant.
01:11:31 >> And that takes time,
01:11:34 thought, pondering, and prayer
01:11:39 >> and searching.
01:11:41 >> Yes.
01:11:41 >> Right.
01:11:43 >> Yes. You can’t. It’s not something
01:11:46 There’s not a shortcut to it.
01:11:48 >> No.
01:11:50 >> No, there’s not.
01:11:52 >> And so you
01:11:53 >> Well, I guess there is a shortcut.
01:11:55 Sorry. Uh find a good teacher that’s
01:11:58 already gone through it.
01:11:59 >> Yeah. Find a good teacher who’s
01:12:02 uh done who’s done the hard work of
01:12:04 freedom and is willing to teach you
01:12:07 >> Yeah.
01:12:08 >> about it.
01:12:09 >> Yeah. Now, good teachers according to
01:12:11 the Book of Mormon and ones that are
01:12:12 keeping Torah. Okay.
01:12:15 >> Yeah. Um if they’re not keeping Torah,
01:12:18 they should not be teaching.
01:12:21 >> Yeah, there’s a lot of examples of that
01:12:23 online. But anyways, that’s a whole
01:12:25 another subject,
01:12:26 >> right?
01:12:29 >> And I apologize for not clicking the
01:12:32 right buttons at the right time. I am
01:12:34 sorry. I am tired because I do this just
01:12:38 before I go to bed right now because of
01:12:40 my current job. Sorry. My my bad. I am
01:12:43 sorry. But I do think the review gave
01:12:48 the essence as I’m on that word right
01:12:50 now.
01:12:54 >> Sorry. It goes with the lesson, right?
01:12:57 >> Yeah.
01:12:58 >> I I mean, we all do it.
01:13:01 >> Yeah.
01:13:01 >> Seriously, think about yourself. I bet
01:13:05 you’ll find occasions where you’re doing
01:13:07 it, too. as I’m doing it right now. No,
01:13:09 I’m partly doing it to be funny and to
01:13:12 make a point though.
01:13:14 >> Yeah.
01:13:14 >> But we all do it.
01:13:19 >> Yeah.
01:13:21 >> The soul and the body is the essence of
01:13:24 man.
01:13:28 >> Anyways, I don’t know if they want that
01:13:29 anymore.
01:13:31 I just want to encourage you to um I
01:13:36 just want to encourage anybody who hears
01:13:37 this to continue to delve into the
01:13:40 scriptures,
01:13:41 not take shortcuts
01:13:44 to uh make sure that the that you’re
01:13:48 correctly you that you’re correctly um
01:13:55 that you’re not pitting the scriptures
01:13:56 against each other.
01:13:58 >> Yeah. where the scriptures are the mind
01:14:00 are the revealed mind and will of Elohim
01:14:04 and uh so that so it is reconciled
01:14:10 that’s the thing that you have to bear
01:14:11 in mind it is reconciled
01:14:14 >> a reconcilable
01:14:16 um the problem is
01:14:19 >> I’m I’m going to say it’s reconciled
01:14:22 because
01:14:25 it’s his mind and will
01:14:27 >> okay
01:14:27 >> you just don’t know the reconciliation
01:14:29 yet.
01:14:30 >> Yeah. Yeah. We we need to figure it out.
01:14:33 >> Yeah.
01:14:33 >> Yeah.
01:14:34 >> Yeah.
01:14:35 >> And this is one example where we’ve gone
01:14:37 through that where we’ve done it in
01:14:38 other places on other
01:14:40 >> areas. Right.
01:14:41 >> Yeah. And so
01:14:44 even if the scripture seems very clear
01:14:48 and you need to make sure that it

01:14:52 scripture, that it is reconciled.
01:14:58 Be careful. Search the scriptures. Don’t
01:15:02 just read them like an automaton.
01:15:05 Uh reading what the what your church
01:15:07 told you to put them put into them.

01:15:12 >> And and so that is and so that would be
01:15:15 my encouragement and counsel to

01:15:19 >> also. Have a great week. Okay.
01:15:22 >> We say this in the name of Yeshua the
01:15:23 Messiah. Amen.
